No Game. First the app is advertised all over television. Then I downloaded the app and things were cool on every phone I have ever had until I got iPhone. Now I’m passed because I used to be able to see the games on the app no problem, but now the app says that the video is not supported by my cable package. I never had that before and even sitting in my home where my cable is located I still get that same message. I was all for this app but with no game footage to watch when I wanna watch it. I’m good. I’ll have to look elsewhere because this is a waste of space on my phone and time that I don’t have. Thanks but no thanks.

I just want too stream warriors games. I really wish as a die hard warriors fan that there were some way for me too stream the games easier than what’s currently available. Due too blackouts I’m hesitant too drop $75 on a app or tv service I may use once in a while just too find out warriors games are blacked out. I only need too stream once every 3-4 games otherwise I’m home where I can watch it. But it’s just so frustrating missing a game and having tv providers lure you in with the thought of being able too watch your home town team than game time comes and your blacked out. So please if anyone knows of any option out there I’ve missed please inform me

Amazing from the start!!!. I have had the My teams app ever since I heard about it. I love it so much because it keeps me up with my favorite teams so easily sometimes I feel like I am apart of the team myself considering the information is amazing. I check this app almost everyday on the Golden State Warriors, and Baltimore Ravens, and I always find something new and important. One of the best sports app I have

Interface needs work. I like the ease with which you can load the content you want to watch. However the way it automatically goes into full screen mode when the device is in landscape orientation is annoying. Let the user decide when they want to go into full screen mode. Even more annoying is that, when in full screen mode, the left and right side of the image is cropped. Again, let the user decide that. And I’m sure the sponsors would love to know that a portion of their ads is being cropped for many viewers.

Resuming the live stream is always buggy. Whenever I close the app to answer a message or check a score in another app, I come back to a video stream that is stuck on a commercial loop, or cannot be “caught up” using “Go to live.” I’d love the ability to see the video become “picture in picture” across apps like the NFL or the TNT apps. Having to force quit to continue watching live is a pain. Additionally, the live scores in the popover are frequently laggy. I’d be okay with a “refresh” button to manually trigger them.

Convenient Way to Watch Sixers but Flawed. I use the app very often to watch the Sixers using my tv subscription, but occasionally it logs me out of the connection. This previous time, when I went to log in, I accidentally selected Service Electric Cablevision(vs Service Electric Cable TV and Communications. Obviously I could not log in with my credentials. When I realized my mistake, I backtracked and selected the correct provider. When I logged in, it designated my having logged into Cablevision instead. Because I was logged into a non-existant account/connection, it would not approve me to stream the game. It was then I realized I could not find anywhere to log out of my provider connection through the app. I ended up having to delete and reinstall the app in order to be prompted again to sign into my provider. In hindsight, I perhaps could have logged out of my provider’s site if an actual connection had been made, but it would be great to have that ability in-app along with some sort of actual account/settings page. Another issue is that on my Ipad, turning my game sideways for full screen cuts out the score every single time, so my only options are to watch it upright in a much smaller window or use Chromecast, which for me often disconnects. The app is handy but could use some improvement. TLDR : Issues with provider connection and inability to change provider in-app or access much of an account/connections page, and wide screen viewing cuts off game score.

Nothing seems to work. Just downloaded the app when I opened the NBC CHI app and it told me to upgrade. Nothing seems to be loading or working, and the app is confusing. I find myself swiping left and right just to see if something else will show up. As for loading, I went to schedule and it’s showing me games from April. The filter is set to Upcoming...and it’s August. Worse yet, none of the score from April are even populated. If I select regular season, those results are filled in, but then I need to manually go to August. What’s the point of giving an option and then it not remotely working? I don’t see any options to watch the local game. Looks like a badly developed app so far.

One of my Favorites. As an app to utilize for my local sports team coverage this has emerged as my go to first app. But also features some of my favorite sports writers and personalities from the local market. The functionality is good not great. Wish I could search out national and other headline sports coverage. But not at the expense of the local coverage. So if your local market is served well by a NBCsn team you’ll likely love it.

Clunky on my iPad. I like this app better on my windows based laptop than on my iPad. On my iPad, it opens up sideways, then I have to close the app and reopen it to get the screen to open properly. I have to swipe repeatedly to get to the news I want to read - it would be better if all the headlines opened up on the 1st screen, rather than having the Bruins site open and then having to swipe to get to the other sites (Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox).

Not accessible to the blind. I was excited about this app when I first heard about it. I am a blind iPhone user, and use the built-in screen reader called voice over. When I opened the app, the only thing that I was able to successfully do was select all of my teams. After that, I was not able to do anything. Voiceover says something to the effect that my teams are behind a button and to press and hold the button and then release it, but when I perform those commands nothing happens. I would appreciate it if this app could be made accessible so that people like myself can use it, because right now we are not able to, and I am a huge capitals fan and was looking forward to trying this out.

Buggy, not fully intuitive. It kinda gets the job done, but it is not fully intuitive and is buggy… - not clear how to switch between teams you’ve added, nor does it really show you what teams are there. It took a LOT of playing to figure out how to switch from one team to another - app starts in portrait mode, even if you’re in landscape mode. It will switch to landscape mode if you move your iPad back to portrait mode and then rotate, but it doesn’t just figure out how to do it on its own. - sometimes, it will only play the live video stream inside a window with no options to get it into a full screen. Other times, it will put you into full screen mode with no ways to get out of it and back to the app. There are no controls on this, and fully restarting the app doesn’t guarantee results one way or another. This needs to be fixed!! Also, when it switches to landscape mode, the video becomes too large for the screen and some of it is cut off on both sides. - it talks about notifications, but I saw nothing about what you want to be notified about and when… This app also needs to allow for Picture in Picture mode, where I can hit the home button and get out of the app and still get the video in a small window in the corner on my iPad. Please make this more intuitive and user friendly, and please fix the bugs described above.

Great App. The only one problem that I have encountered while using this app is that at times it says that it’s not included with my tv subscription but I’ve found that if I log out of my tv provider and then log back in it works just fine. I think that this app is great otherwise. It’s very handy to have all the Bay Area sports on one app and be able to watch the games as well.

Good for... well not much. It’s basically searching for your team on a search engine. Last year we could watch all the games on mobile. Now, every game says not authorized and can’t watch anything. If you expect to see anything besides news, don’t get this app. Used to be one of my favorite apps, but they bait and switched. They got us all to download and watch all the games now they don’t allow any games to be watched. Quite a shame. Also, this is my first ever review written on the App Store. That alone should tell you how I feel about this ‘new and improved’ app. Would give it one star if I didn’t feel bad about giving a bad review. Fix the app. Bring back the ability to watch games and this review goes to a 5.

I really like it!!. The My Teams app is very good. A couple of glitchy things but no big deal. A 5 Star rating is waiting if, while watching a live event, we are able to rewind a little bit in case something was missed. I do like the mini picture-in-picture. It allows to watch then stay listening to the game while looking at other things on the app. Yes, it’s small to see everything going on but you can get a visual idea and still hear the broadcast. I’m cool with it.

Gets old fast. A few good articles, and the video options spice things up a little. However, the reporting is very superficial, and doesn’t have anything that an avid follower won’t be able to find elsewhere. There is room for more depth, analysis and variety in stories. Recently, the reporting has sunk to new lows with 50-75% of 49ers stories nothing more than copying various other reporters speculation about the #3 pick. It’s a circle jerk and a pathetic excuse for professional reporting. Wish they had Major college teams too (Cal, Stanford, etc).

Appreciation. For a lifelong Boston fan out in San Diego, where most of the four major sports teams from Boston area are seldom on national television during the regular season, this is a great resource for me. Right now I’m keeping up with the Celtics and the Bruins with articles, Game schedules and times, scores and highlights. Especially this time of year May 19, 2021 with both the Celtics and Bruins now in the playoffs, I can get the nationally televised game information for each of those teams from this app. And independent of this app I get NFL news about my Patriots from I think it’s an NBC Sports app with not games so much is commentaries from the Talking Heads, as well as highlights.

Restricted viewing while traveling. I’m out of my local viewing area. I was trying to catch my local basketball team, and the app refuses to allow me to view it. Until now I’ve had a decent experience with the app. Usually I’m still in my viewing area just not at home. The app works fine in my local viewing area but as a diehard fan of my home team it is disappointing that they advertise being able to catch a live stream of your local team with the app any where and I can’t.

User interface needs work. I would rather have the older version for watching games on my iPad. This version works sometimes and then it does not for whatever reason saying that I am not authorized to watch???? No controls other than pause when watching a live feed, so no jump forward back or scroll controls. The User interface needs a home screen to that you can toggle to the team you want to follow. You cannot reorder the teams without deleting the application and starting over as with all of the controls. There are no controls. If you need to log into your cable provider, there is no indicator for that or even a way to check if you are already logged in. Great idea, just missing the tools that an application like this needs so that the user can navigate it. Where is a settings menu or something. Why should I have to scroll thru the 49ers stuff when they are out of season. I should not have to scroll to see team, just select their icon from a home screen....please.

Great when it works. Have to close and reopen app when it hangs.. Has a habit of freezing during commercials and will not restart unless I completely close the app and restart it. Will often not “go live” after clicking on the “go live” option. Again, requiring that the app be completely closed and reopened in order to catch up with the live broadcast. Pretty annoying. Also the screen truncates the left and right edges of the picture on my tablet so I can’t always see the scores or clock if the network puts that information on the edge. That only happens in landscape mode.

Had good stretch. Was good for a few months when I could actually stream my A’s but now it won’t let me watch anymore because of my cable package or something. I will change review to 5-stars when you bring the ability to watch your team back. Edit: Thank you so much! Turns out that was the problem for all my devices, probably an Xfinity problem. Just added the final 2 stars to this review. This is a 5 star app once again!

Some useful information but lacks detail. There is some useful information available. I use the Schedule and division standings often. The active scoring part lags behind the game several minutes and it doesn’t really show you who is doing what. No batting order for example. It also lacks player statistics so you have to go elsewhere for that. It does have articles/video analysis but i tend to get that elsewhere lime during an actual broadcast.

Irritating. PLEASE STOP SENDING UNSOLICITED MESSAGES! They wake me up at 5 and continue ad nauseum. I will VISIT THE App when I want to get new information otherwise I do not want to be disturbed every five minutes it’s just irritating and alienating and really pretty stupid because only pretty low lives are going to be reading this stuff every five minutes I love the Warriors I love the information but I cannot afford to be disturbed all day and all night and it with intrusions please stop

Good articles, poor UI. I look forward to the updated articles but have always found this app to be clumsy at best. Now it has become no-op on my iPad. It opens as far as the initial title page and then just sits there. Same issue on my iPhone. It appears to happen because I use a vpn. This does not make any sense to me. I will not compromise my security and turn off my vpn just to accommodate the app

Good when it works which is maybe 50% of the time. The My Teams app has potential to be really good but it’s not good right now. Almost every time I use it to watch my teams it falls into a loop and repeats a sequence over and over until I force close the app and restart. If it’s not doing the loop issue then it’s telling the content is not available in my area, because for whatever reason it’s apparently lost my valid account info for DirecTV. One time I was able to go into the settings and sign out and back in but tonight it wouldn’t let me sign back in. If the app developers can make this app user friendly and fix the bugs, it’ll be good. Until then, it’s 50/50 that I’ll get to watch my team. Either offer an app that works or remove it, but please stop wasting our time.

Why is this advertised as a way to watch games when games can not be watched through the app?. This app is a waste of time. It was advertised during a spring training game (many many times) as a way to watch my favorite teams when i am not in front of a tv. Well, here i am, app is downloaded, game is available on my local nbc sport channel, but the game does not appear in the app, there is a scoreboard near the top of my screen, but it isnt updating when the score changes, i am having more luck using the mlb at bat app to send me text messages whenever a run is scored. This is not even remotely functional for how it was advertised. Boo

Always a problem. Every time we go to watch the Flyers games on either our iPad or phone we end up having to delete the app then reinstalling it. And every single time the same message pops up “this program is not available in your region due to rights restrictions.” Last season it worked fine. The iPad is a little over a year old and the phone is a few months old and we are ALWAYS connected to WiFi so I know it’s not on our end. We have complicated circumstances where this is the only way a family member can watch as he is in an assisted living facility. But it’s sad that every time we go in to see if he was able to get it started, he feels like HE did something wrong. “Nope, doesn’t work on my phone either buddy ...sit tight while we fix it again.”😢🤦🏼‍♀️

College teams. Wish you could add your favorite college teams to the app. Could ask colleges to provide the same material they submit via email so no additional editorial work by the developers of the app. Would love to have all this information in one place. I am 80 plus and a female but I still love sports but would love to have it in one place. Thanks. P. Moran.

A little limited. 1. The previous Comcast app design allowed me to keep track of the local college sports teams. This version does not provide that option. I don’t like that. 2. Because this is a sports app, it really should provide score board information. This version does not do that! 3. Otherwise, after an adjustment period, the navigation for this app is pretty smooth. 4. This app occasionally freezes, where I get stuck reading a story and cannot get out, without closing out the app.

Frustrating experience on iPad. When watching live games on my iPad Air (3rd gen) at full screen on landscape mode, the video doesn’t display in letterbox. This results in video being cut off on the sides, which really impacts the viewability of games and plays. Additionally, commercials often seem to cause the video player to freeze. This results in having to kill the app and restart it to get back to a live game. Navigation between teams is frustrating too - the knob like feature is frustrating to use.

Good, When It Works, But Glitchy. This is awesome for watching in the go, but about 40% of the time I get an error message telling me my provider doesn’t allow the stream. This is incorrect. It’s just a glitch. Usually, if I close and reload, after multiple attempts it’ll work. Tonight, for half an hour I got this response. I had to delete & download again and it worked on the first try. It can be very frustrating, but when it works, it’s awesome. Fix the far too frequent glitchiness & it’s wonderful.

A different perspective. I enjoy the app for the different perspective it gives of my favorite team(s). Only complaint I have is my fav team (the Phillies) are in the World Series but on Sunday the app switched all news to the Eagles (another fav but not what I wanted to read about). I was unable to find anything to switch the app back to baseball. The next day it had gone back on its own. Need a way (or at least one you can find) to switch between teams or sports.

Unintuitive mess. Compared to other apps this one is severely lacking. For starters the app itself is not intuitive. How do you add teams to your teams after the fact? I do not see anything in settings or an account section of the app. There must be a way to do it though. Also, this app supports minimizing the stream into a picture in picture viewing experience but only within the app itself. The stream goes away the minute you try to go back home whereas other streaming apps let you multitask. Forcing you to stay in-app to view the stream along with an unintuitive user interface is why I give this app 1 star. It's by far the worst live sports streaming app I've used.

Love this app. I really enjoy the interviews, the easy info on schedule, stats etc, but especially the in depth articles from Alex Pavlovicz and others. Today I was not able to see the game and I looked at the scoring info, but I saw that my friend was able to see it with quicker updates and literally watch details of each pitch on her MLB app. So... that was better, but overall I really like the app- I get in-depth info that she doesn’t get.

“Not your mother’s app” 🥴. Ditto Trader Jean! She makes excellent points and took the words right out of my fingertips. 😜 I want my old app back, where I could pick my teams and not have to scroll through all the off-season stuff to get any current info on active teams. Additionally, I want to pick individual teams, not the whole wad in the area! I want a series of articles that I can pick to read about my team(s) at my leisure. When I picked “Bay Area” on this app, I got everything imaginable and get multiple daily reminders and news bits about teams I don’t want. It’s an all or nothing app. The livestream of games often seems to get stuck; score doesn’t change for many minutes in a fast-paced game, and the film itself gets jerky like an old badly wound 16 mm. 😝 Pretty annoying when the real-life game and tv moves on. When I need my tablet or phone exclusively, it’s a second-(or third-)rate production. Please let me pick two or three teams from anywhere and not get bombarded by ALL the teams from one whole geographic area. BTW, when I open a preview, I don’t want to do this. I want to be taken directly to the news. Kinda sneaky way to get a review, but now aren’t you sorry you didn’t find a more honest way to ask?!

Good articles, not the best readability. My only problems with this app are easily fixable. Here’s the suggestions 1) I want to read everything, and get caught up on all the latest for all my local teams, but I only open the app a few times a week - so I scroll down and read them from bottom to top…seems logical since they are sequential and game updates etc following the time…but the app forces you to close each article and then scroll up to get the next one…really cumbersome (and I alone in my approach/concern?), then 2) when you are reading down to the bottom of the article, and you flip too fast, then that fast scrolling closes the article before you can read the last line or two? It’s another usability “feature” to move to the next article below the current one that doesn’t align with my bottoms up approach to devouring all the great content…

Pretty Fun. This app is so over advertised that I eventually got it to see what it was about. Its well designed, and often has interesting articles. My main problem is that a lot of the content is just reuploads of TV clips or videos that are already on instagram. You could get most of the same news by following your local NBC Sports Instagram. But there are still some great articles, which gives this a 4/5.

This fits into my busy schedule!. I don’t normally follow what is happening with my favorite teams. This ap pushes headlines onto my phone’s screen that I can look at for a moment each time I use my IPhone. If the headline is compelling enough, I can click into the full story when I please. I clear away all the headlines every day or two by clicking one button. I’m quite satisfied, because it fits into my life easily.

Fix the connection…. App will not open when it is connected to WiFi. WiFi needs to be turned off to even get the app to open. If I’m lucky enough to get it to open, the game will not cast to my smart tv. I have watched Phillies baseball this way for the last couple of years, and I’ve never had this issue. It gets hung up on the MyTeams Sports logo and it will not go any further. The game will not load, despite my phone believing it is connected fine. This last only been happening since last Wednesday. Prior to that, I rarely had an issue. Please someone look into this and see what has changed since last Wednesday.

Not available in my area. I am a transplanted Pennsylvanian living in the Atlanta area(35 years now) and still following all the Philly teams but cannot watch any of the games through this app, as it’s not carried by any of the local cable carriers. You should make this app available to be purchased separately from any carrier so that fans outside of the state can still watch the games. If there is a way to watch the games I be vey happy to hear how

Bugs not fixed, no response to problem with app. I have been using the app for a couple years. In May 2021 the app decided to log me out of my tv provider and I tried to log in again. I tap on my provider to log in but nothing ever happens. It doesn’t take me to the log in screen like it’s supposed to, it stays on the same screen. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again, I’ve waited for updates, and I’ve contacted MyTeams NBC but none of these methods work and I’ve received no response from NBC. It’s very frustrating that I can’t watch the teams that I pay for to watch and it’s unbelievable that the problem hasn’t been fixed for over half a year now.

All Glitter No Gold!. All set to view a game but not available in my “Region”! I would not mind so much if Regions were defined. My provider authenticates my service, and tv service by NBCW is available on my cable channel. So what is so great about this app? Nothing! Part 2. Now I think I understand. If your team Washington Wizards, is playing away from home, even though the app says “live in app” that does not mean it will be live. So when MyTeam plays at home it really will be live. So as I am doing now, NBCSports Washington shows My Team home or away on my cable channel. As much as I would like to have this App, there is no value to me. Thanks. Part 3. I signed in the app with my Xfinity user name and PW. The result says I am ready to view the video. At 1 pm I am ready to watch the Redskins. But; MyTeams says “System not in my Region due to rights restrictions”. That does it for me. Thanks.

Finally!. Happy to see that the NBC Sports App has been totally replaced. This one seems so much better so far. Setup and picking my favorite teams was a breeze, and it's great that it opens up right away to The Cubs, who I put in the number one position. Nice to have the ability to stream and the team buzz and news all in the same place. I look forward to being able to more easily stream the Bulls and Blackhawks games over the winter and the Cubs next summer.

Would rate 1 star except it has live stream. I am grateful that this app can live stream so I gave it 4 stars - although live stream in landscape mode on my iPad cuts off the scoreboard on bottom right of NBA games. Otherwise I would give it 1 star. The layout is too graphic oriented trying too hard to be wow or something - hard to figure out where information is - always seems to start on a screen of a sport I am not interested in right now - like NFL during the summer.

Good app. I love watching the phillies games and this app is perfect for all philly sports teams Love this app it is awesome and would highly recommend it to other Philly fans I also would recommend streaming Eagles games since everyone wants to come home and watch the eagles after they do there grocery shopping but overall A awesome app for people who like Philly teams would highly recommend it Signed Chris porto who loves Philly sports

...Why Cant I Lock My Phone And Hear The Game?. first off, half of these reviews are left by absolute imbeciles who give the app a 5 star rating and proceed to rip it a new one in the review they write. for gods sake open your eyes and look at what youre doing lol this app should have 1.5 star rating. second, the app has a really bad layout. counterintuitive even. also, what do you benefit from not allowing users to lock their device and still hear the game. really, whats the point? youre incentivizing people to just stream the game online for free illegally lol if you want that to end, you have to win people over! and you can start by letting us lock our phones ans listen to the game! not complicated :)

Bad App. As a college student who doesn’t go to school in the Bay Area, I had a couple months of using the MyTeams app without any problems. Now it says my location makes it a blackout restriction and can’t even watch my A’s because I’m not back home in the Bay. I enjoyed watching the A’s whenever I could, wherever I could cause of my families cable subscription. Don’t punish fans cause they aren’t home in the region, reward them because they want to use the app wherever they are in the country. Just forcing me to use illegal streams to watch instead because you guys can’t be user friendly is just losing customers.

Live Video is Okay at Best. The streams work, yes, but if you need to turn off rotation lock, the stream will pause. If you rotate the screen, the stream will freeze completely 30% of the time. There’s no Picture in Picture support. There’s so air play support either. No video scrubbing. The “go live” button will occasionally work too. If you press the “go live” button too soon after opening the app to resume a feed, the entire UI just stops responding and doesn’t go to the live location. The live video “works” but not well. Surprised this made it to customers at all. Needs major support and updates.

Good but not great!. I like the accessibility from just about anywhere for the teams that I care about. Truthfully if I can watch live -Tv- that’s my preference but when I can’t it’s an ok option. One downfall is that it doesn’t automatically update to real time. I have to swipe through my teams to get to live action. That should change!!! Minor issue is that on occasion the app doesn’t recognize me & I have to sign in from beginning. That’s all my beefs.

Great content, lousy app. Okay, content is more than enough and should be enough to make this a 4-5 star app. So why only two? App mechanics are garbage. Video is what there are pushing so even if it’s not what you want, it’s pushed on you, even when video is not working right and yes, that’s another issue. And why is it impossible to change screen orientation? Folks, it’s 2020 and blows my mind that this is a ‘finished’ product. Update: I’m removing a star thanks to the invasive video feed. I’m watching the game on the television and trying to read articles but the video restarts every time I swipe on the page. I keep on turning it off but it won’t stay off. Disappointing that this is the case, wonder why there is no quality check.

Really nice upgrade. They’ve found the right mix of video, articles, and customization so you only get the stuff you want from your favorite teams and not out of town information from teams you don’t care about. Having the live local games fire up right at the top is a big plus - it’s probably the easiest way on my phone to click one button and be watching the game live.

I can’t stand the politics. I downloaded this app for one sole purpose...to read up on my local Philadelphia sports teams and be able to watch Philadelphia sports games on my phone when I’m not at home. While I understand that the Chinese virus has brought sports to a screeching halt and given the sports writers nothing to write about, I’m sick and tired of all the fake news they shove down our throats about politics and vaccines. These writers are not political writers they’re sports writers and that’s what they need to stick to! I’m very close to deleting this app I’m not at all happy with it anymore! Keep politics out of sports!

Randomly works when it wants too. I used to like this app. But it seems that since the last update it rarely wants to connect. I get an error message saying it appears I’m not connected to the internet. When I’m 5 ft from my wifi router. And every other app on my phone works just fine. This app might work once or twice a week now. Super frustrating as I check multiple times a day for updates or new stories about my teams.

Apps gone downhill. This app went downhill after NBC launched their streaming service. I get it sports are huge and youll convince a lot of people to buy it if you make games exclusive to NBC+. Articles are okay but nothing you cant find anywhere else on the internet. Im struggling to find a reason to keep it on my phone. The ESPN app is a way easier to track my teams on game day. The app is very well designed tho i do like how easy it is to swipe between teams.

Absolutely amazing. As a Philly fan, it’s never been easier to keep up with my Eagles, Sixers, Flyers & Phillies especially when I’m traveling on the road. Every game I wanna watch is all in one location. The user interface took a few days to get used to, but after a few hours, it’s so fluid. Love it

Hal. Unfortunately the flyers organization or shall we say Comcast must have it’s not her turning over in his grave. Where I had the real sports people gone maybe as I was talking to one that used to work for Comcast more than 300 people have been laid off and they tend to support nothing of real value. Greg Murphy is the only real professional understaffed Comcast so far have chosen to keep. What a shame a fantastic organization catering to the opposite views. Next they’ll be removing Bobby Clarke and Snyder statue because they represent something of another era that was truly sports.

Keeps me inform without sifting through the junk on Twitter. If what I’m looking for is an update on what happened for today with my local teams, without sifting through all the posts on Twitter about the awful things in the world, My Teams makes it easy. Nice presentation to articles and video.

Difficult to use app. This app is touted as the way to watch your team on NBC sports. I open the app and all I see is news stories about my team. I have no idea where the live feed is, as there does not seem to a menu. Clicking on the score banner at the top does nothing. Using this not intuitive at all. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to change any personal settings such as adding or changing teams. I do not think this ready for prime time yet and a lot of work needs to be done to make it easily usable.

App is junk and needs to be updated. Does not work in landscape mode as the screen is cut off. Also it will show commercials while the game is going on and then bring you back long after the game has resumed. There is a scoreboard at the top of the app that is either behind or ahead of the stream which is very annoying. You can’t even open the stats on the bottom of the screen in portrait mode like in the watch espn app. Just overall a very poorly designed app and nbc doesn’t seem to care. Such a shame.

Military Friendly App. With service comes sacrifice… I’ve lived all over the world and with the time zones constantly changing, I use this app to keep track of when my favorite teams play, as well as to keep up with news and scores from every sport/league with one click… absolutely love this app!

Fix the app!. Ads are ridiculous right now, so much that they make the app almost unusable! This is a common user experience to watching a game through it: 3-5 mins of ads, “we will be back shortly”, another 3-5mins of ads, goes back to the feed which is showing ads, then you get to the game, it’s running behind by more than 5 mins, you click “go live” (for the first time you are now able to do this), go through another 3 mins of ads and now they take you to the “live” feed that is still about 3mins behind other streams! Just a few mins ago I sat through 17mins of ads with no sign of stopping, I just had to turn it off because I couldn’t even tell it to go live! (Which can be another problem as any kind of putting your device to sleep will take it off live) Fix this!

Awesome app. This app is a must have if you’re a fan of any teams in this app. It’s a one-stop shop for all the coverage of your favorite teams. I use it to follow all the philly teams and the unique interface makes it easy to quickly scroll through each teams pages.

For a Comcast products, it’s pretty good. The app is more than serviceable. But is very annoying to manage. It’a also not formatted for tablets, so the broadcast is fit to the tablet screen, rather than the standard widescreen format. For basketball games, broadcasts that typically out the score box in the bottom right corner of the screen, this means the score isn’t visible at all. For baseball and hockey games, the team names/cities are barely visible.

App doesn’t work for streaming. Literally cannot stream ANY games of my team that I am physically in the region for. Support insists it has to do with my cable providers login, which i know isn’t the case because I can watch through the NBC sports Washington’s page on my computer. But I can’t watch though this app OR the nbc sports app on my phone or my roku box. I use the exact same log in on all three and yet the apps don’t work. And I see tons of reviews saying the same thing and yet there’s still no fix. Haven’t been able to watch a single hockey game away from home yet. Ridiculous

Games not available in my region?. Would be a great app I guess? I pay dearly for xfinity just to watch the sharks and utilize the streaming games on the nbc sports app when I’m not at home. This app was supposed to do that but better. Every time I try to stream a game it says “this program is not available in your region due to rights restrictions.” Awesome! Still works on the nbc sports app thank Allah. Christ though, you’d think paying over $100/mo to xfinity just for the nbc sports channels you could get something easy like this to work.

Automatically Playing Videos Ruins It. I can’t stand this app how almost every time I launch it, it automatically starts playing a news video related to my team it’s on. I can’t see the video, it’s playing in background or something and therefore can’t stop it from playing. Even worse as I scroll around (and it still annoying plays in background) when I see a video I do want to watch, and hit play, they both will be playing at same time. Absolutely horrible design.

Very Good Source Of Information. I use this app daily as my primary information on our local teams. I supplement this with other apps like ESPN for stats details. The journalists in MyTeams are very good and some are on the pre and post game shows, as well as podcasts. They impart good information without the need for sensationalism.

Amazing UI. Hands down the most innovative advance in UI/UX design I’ve seen in a while. Doesn’t conform with what other platforms are doing. Easy/fun interactivity, great content and awesome feature that allows you to stream and read articles during commercial breaks. Although, cable subscription gets dropped fairly frequently, re-logging in a pain.

NBA APP !. I was really enjoying the App ! I had some issues at first but got it figured out! Last season Dish Network got really greedy and back stabbed all there customers and dropped the NBA channel. They never even told thier customers? The channel just was gone ! Thanks for listening!

Hard to use. How do I add a team? I do thinks it looks smooth, seamless and my 3 yo will probably be able to show me how it works but I feel like there are buttons I can’t seem to find. Mind you I’m not even that old 😬 also if I don’t put in more effort to figuring this app out I think I’m either not using it to its fullest potential or it’s just basically a collection of news articles (which I can easily view on the teams website, newspapers, FB, IG, etc.) i stream games on the xfinity app atm

Better. Make it so that no matter where I’m at I can watch all my teams no matter what. With whom ever providers and what ever league. As long as I’m paying my provider. Even if it’s the smallest package. You can hear from me again when things go wrong or when things just don’t make sense. Let’s talk about keeping people happy and satisfied

Does this no longer work with Fios?. This would be a five star review if I'd written it within the first couple weeks of downloading this app. I used to be able to stream Wiz and Caps game live, but now I get a message telling me live streaming isn't part of my provider's cable package. I don't know what changed. I logged out to try to see if that would help, but now I can't figure how to log back in. This is all quite frustrating. I can watch games through the Fios app, but I thought this was a more elegant solution. Now it doesn't seem to work.

Inconsistent at first leading to broken. For the first year I’d used this app it worked alright, it was missing some features that other similar apps have, like being able to cast to another device. Since the all star break 2021 it doesn’t link with my cable provider correctly and won’t let me watch Washington games and instead has me watch flyers games. I contacted customer service and it took them about a week to contact me, I responded and got another email a couple days later. Now it’s been another week and nothing. Pretty disappointing all around.

Too many feedback requests. The content provided in the app is pretty good but the constant prompts for feedback are annoying to say the least. There isn’t an option to dismiss without another prompt for feedback. So the app gives daily prompts for feedback. I have emailed via the provided link requesting the prompts to cease and only receive canned responses which appear to be auto generated as they have nothing to do with my email. Hopefully now that I have rated the app the prompts I receive multiple times per day will discontinue but I’m not holding my breath.

Overall good. App has great information on all four major Boston pro teams. Updated frequently. While in the app, trying to switch pages from one team to another, doesn’t go smoothly. Have to swipe left or right to navigate and that doesn’t always work well. A heading at the top of page, allowing to tap/click team would seem to be better.

No longer works. I used to use it all the time on my iPad. Now I always get a message that “MyTeams video is not included with my cable package.” This happens whether the team is home or away, every time. And it used to work perfectly. After this review, I reinstalled again. (2nd or 3rd time). This time it seemed to fix things. Fingers crossed.

Convenient and easy. Really like the design and layout of the app. Props to whoever came up with it. Let’s me find articles, check game scores and times really easily. One thing I would like is to see both the final score and next game during the day after, instead of just the final score.

Constant Blackout Issues. I downloaded this app last night to watch a local game on my home WiFi, and I am not using a VPN. The app worked fine the first time I opened it and signed in, but once I exited and tried to reconnect to the game, I got constant blackout restriction notices. The same thing happened tonight with another game. This issue is only fixed by deleting and reinstalling the app, and then only solves the problem for one instance of running the app. It’s ridiculous that this has replaced the NBAsports app for local viewing in my area when it clearly is completely broken.

Can’t watch anymore. I used to be able to watch the warriors games but now when i log into the app i can’t anymore. i’ve logged into xfinity and have verified my account but when i go into the app i can only see the scores. i hope the problem can be fixed.(issue fixed)

Tv provider login not working. When attempting to login to provider, the app takes me to the screen to select my provider. I click on my provider and ....nothing. App just remains stuck on the screen with the list of providers. Click more and nothing. The name of my providers signals when I click it, so it’s registering a click, but the app does nothing. Just remains on the list. So I’m unable to login, which negates the use of this app. Would not recommend this app as its more headache than it’s worth.

I’m enjoying it. I really like all the insight that it gives me to the teams that I follow. I struggle playing the live stream. It tells me that it is not included in my package but I know that I should have access to it. Instead I go on their website and live stream it there and it plays fine. I thought I would delete it after a week but i find myself thoroughly enjoying it.

Good for mobile. If you are not currently at your house you may watch the Sox, Blackhawks, Bears, and Bulls on the app. You cannot watch games for more than 10 minutes unless you sign in with your TV provider. Cubs not included with TV package as it is not aired on NBC Sports Chicago. You can still see the game details.

It’s OK. Some of the content is original and good, but a lot of it is re-purposed content from othet sources that doesn’t add either additional information or a fresh perspective. It’s not longform journalism, rather a collection of story snippets and video clips/interviews from the its parent company, the broadcast partner of the Warriors. With its video resources and access, I expect more from the website. However, their partner relationship may preclude them from providing any strident criticism, so their coverage frequently feels soft and superficial.

Good except watching on iPad in landscape. No complaints about the app other than the view when watching on an iPad in landscape view. Instead of letterboxing the screen, it gives you a full screen/zoomed view and cuts off the score boxes. If the devs would give an option of zoomed or letterboxed screen, it would be 5 stars.

Great way to stay up to date. I can always find out the latest news and watch all the games in my phone. Best is when you are near a strong WiFi connection and listening through Bluetooth earbuds!

“Appear to be offline” and Interrupts with “rate me”. An app whining to me for ratings is an automatic 1 star. Even if it didn’t do that, now it’s constantly telling me “You appear to offline. Please restore your internet connection to continue.” I’m not offline. It’s the ad blocker. Worse, turning the ad blocker off, launching the app, and turning the blocker back on produces a working app. It bases the “you’re offline” decision based just on not being able to retrieve ads. I’d whitelist the specific URL that causes it to choke, but they don’t say.

Live stream. Sometimes the live stream screen where you can tap “go live” will not work. Other times it may freeze as well. I have great wifi and it works well on all other platforms but sometimes it will not work specifically on nbc streams. Other than that it’s great.

No improvement. I use this app and the NBC sports app because they both freeze up and I have to toggle between them. The live stream of Warriors games frequently stops then goes back :30 and repeats the video. For two days the app kept telling me the game was not available on my cable service. When I tried to log in again (because I have Direct tv and all the sports channels) I could not find the log in page. I had to delete and reload the app to log in. If I didn’t love my Bay Area teams I would not be using this app.

Good. Sends a lot of notifications but gives you a lot of information about ur team. Before I had this I was always behind in the news and didn’t know stuff about my teams until like a month later very helpful the notifications are annoying but overall very useful

On the road to victory… 🦅🏈. While I route on all our Philly teams, my passion is football. I enjoy your page immensely. The info, the layout and insight. They only improvement I would like to see is the opportunity for users of the app to respond/ reply to any of the articles. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Great App. This app, which is also a website, has been a great source of information to me about the Phillies. The articles are well-written, organized, and most importantly, accurate. If you’re looking for a new Phillies website, this is the one for you.

Great app to stream your favorite teams on. Overall a great in app experience to stream your favorite sports teams on. I realize that NBC only streams in certain areas across the U.S. but I wish there were more cities teams involved. The only real issue I have with the app is the commercials that I get during the middle of the game and when I have to exit the app and re start it so it goes back to the game.

Terrible. Unnecessarily ‘inventing’ UX patterns. I enjoy the writers but this app suffers from absolutely terrible design choices and information architecture. It is like the got into a room and focused grouped every bad choice they could make to force users to go to the website. A few observations: 1. Someone decided that app navigation design patterns just ‘would not work’ so they invented a convoluted navigation systems that is an absolute fail and terrible user experience. The navigation was so bad that the app was displaying notifications with instructions on how to ‘close an article’ 2. Does not respect its users. I am in Chicago. I read a story about the Cubs. Close the app and when I open it again it shows me something about the White Sox. You do not understand your users. 3. Where is the search? A content app without search is not a serious app. My advise: use the website.

Will not let you stream games unless you are subscribed to a cable provider.. I just cancelled my cable subscription last month in hopes of being able to stream NBA games in my own market. I come to find out in order for me to stream live games, I have to have a cable subscription. That in itself defeats the purpose of this app because I could just watch the games on TV rather than my phone. This app could be so much better if they had direct streaming of in-market teams. I agree with the review above me, waste of time.

Washington Redskins Coverage. Had been using the ESPN cell app to follow the Washington Redskins closely. That pales in comparison to the quality and quantity of excellent content here covering my team. And it’s not just a bunch of fluff. NBC covers news that actually mean something if you care about the team, it’s direction, systems, coaches, player developments, virtually anything. If I want to go deep, it’s usually here and pretty solid sports reporting.

Needs a ‘go live’ button. Love the convenience of being able to open an app and watch my teams wherever and whenever I’d like. That being said it is very annoying when I click out of the app and no matter what length of time goes by before opening it again it picks up right where it left off rather than going live. There needs to be an option to ‘go live’ and to ‘rewind’.

No app support. I love this app and have been using it while traveling for a long time. For some reason I just started getting a banner drop down telling me I can’t watch video because my cable package doesn’t cover it. Well it was working fine until two days ago and we do have the sports package. If you click on app support at the App Store, there is no support. Direct TV is worthless. I just missed the entire SF Giants/Dodgers series. I’m not happy and extremely frustrated.

Love it but it’s hard to understand. I love this app except its hard to navigate and hard to understand. Took me a minute to figure out why they didn’t have all New England teams. Other than that, it’s super useful for finding scores, up coming games, news about the team and other random things. Highly recommend for any sports fans.

Good insights. I enjoy reading the app for up to the minute insights of my fav teams. For example, less than 15 minutes after tonight’s Dubs win I was able to open to my Warriors page and get the lowdown of the game. It doesn’t get any faster than that.

Very good app, could be better. I really enjoy the app to follow Philly sports. I wish that there were more updates. Sometimes there are days with no new news, even when things are happening. Would like more analysis of the Phillies post season, player profiles and updates, interviews with management and players, minor league reports, etc.

Love it but hate video that has mind of its own. Love being able to stay on top of all my Philly teams but often read at night while my honey is trying to sleep. The fact that many of the videos not only come on on their own but then are not able to be shut off.... the pause button doesn’t even show up and if it does it doesn’t respond to my efforts to pause is beyond annoying. PLEASE FIX!!!!
