Countdown to your goal!. I look at this app on my iPhone constantly. I have cute pictures of my favorite people saved. I love looking at my set picture with my goal and the countdown. It gives me encouragement and hope. Therefore I am stronger to make it through another day!!! Thank you!! I said out of the clear blue sky that there must be an app for exactly what I was thinking.... a “countdown” app, then I found it, and it is better than I even imagined.

Its amazing but you might wanna fix something.... Its a great app and its works perfectly! But i just wanna tell you that everything that you have to buy on the premium, i can do for free, for example on the premium it says "type your own phrases!" but i can do that for free and i didn't even buy premium, i just wanted you guys to know! Thank you for making this awesome app!

So much fun before Vacation!. I love this app! We have been to Disney World and other destinations and I love to use this countdown app. You can use their photos or even upload your own for the background, plus the count down is also customizable as well. Another really cool thing is that you can add a song that you own to play every time you open the app. We have “The Mickey Mouse March” come on with a pic of Disney for our countdown, the kids absolutely LOVE it. If you’re on the fence, I say get the app.

This apps countdowns are wrong!. I have been using this app for a while now, downloading it and re downloading it again when I have a new event, but the last time I used it the countdown was completely wrong! I have a countdown for the next day at 12 for going to my friends house to have lunch and I was really excited. I put in the day and time and I thought the number was a little high, so I asked Siri how long it was until my date and she said a totally different number. I tried to see if I put the date in wrong but it was right, this app was good at first but has a major bug that effects the whole app so I can’t use it anymore. You can use this app for a little while but don’t trust it completely.

Great App … but limited # of entries. I love this app and have been using it for years. Last year I went to add an event and was prompted that I could not add additional dates. I liked the app so much that I decided to pay for the pro version so I could add more dates and get rid of ads. I thought the pro version would get rid of the ads but still have to view an add before entering the app. I recently added my 20th date and am NOT able to add any more. I like to look back at my trips and adventures but will be UNABLE to add any more. Not sure I will continue to pay yearly fee when my subscription ends.

Great. This app is great! You can have many countdowns at once and choose the color,font, and background. The only thing I have against it, is that you have to have 𝑝𝑙𝑢𝑠 to do a couple of things, but even then, there isn’t really anything big you need plus for. Also, few ads so I love that! Over all, if you don’t want anything to fancy, then you should get this app!

Amazing app, one thing though.. This app is amazing!! I use this all the time for my birthday, Christmas and other fun events! As a teenage girl this app gets me exited each time I click on to the app. Telling me when my event is! With so many features fonts, colors, and wallpapers to change I love the different options on the app. One thing I would change though is making this app free because I would of loved to add my widget of when my birthday was, but it was a premium option. Witch I understand, but I wish it was free! I definitely love the app and I defiantly recommend.

AMAZING APP!. This is such a good app! It helps me with all my planning ( especially so I don’t forget birthdays ) and it is fun to make too! I got the premium access because there’s 7 things that come in the package for just 2.99$! My friend recommended this app for planning and just for fun, and I recommend this app to everyone who is reading this that has a hard time remembering things or just thinks that their life could be a little more organized...( like me ) But anyways anyone should get this app I love it so much and it just makes me more excited on whatever it is to come! Pictures?. Edit #2: Newest release seems to have fixed the problem with selecting and using pictures. Adjusted star rating to reflect satisfaction with the final issue resolution. Edited to drop stars due to lack of responsiveness from developer. I sent an email about the issue below. In return, I was asked to provide some additional information about my hardware and operating system version, etc., along with some screen shots. I responded with eveything asked of me. Received nothing in return. About a week or so later, I sent a follow up email to see if they received all the information I sent, as required. Here it is over yet another week or so later and again still nothing since the first response they sent. Now I'm really mad that I lost money on this. Original review: All of my pictures I've used for past events have disappeared. I'm trying to create a new event and the app crashes as soon as I try to open my camera roll. I made sure the app still has permission to access my pictures. I even purchased the premium app in case using your own pics became a paid feature. Same problem. Now I can't use my pictures and I'm out $2.99. I'd dump it if I didn't invest so much effort into it so far.

Nice ideas. Colorful. Some don’t work/premium. Very nice graphics and look and options such as heartbeat. Great to use our music as option. 1 the slideshow option doesn’t hold the main picture selected. I sent via text and WhatsApp app and it only shows one frozen picture and no music. I selected the main pic. Several times and the same thing repeated. I noticed that selecting a picture for the main photo that it held other pictures in an outline frame as if also selected. 2. Add a tutorial on features. 3 it wasn’t clear how to keep the edits. I had to go back in several times cause my changes where t saved. Not intuitive. Must select the Done word, but not clear to do that. Very frustrating. 4 allow the names and birthdays to be selected by importing from contacts and to hold them until a card is sent. This what you will know that they are upcoming- like group them into Months ahead of “today”. Be I did buy the premium.

Pretty good. Needs some changes. So I got this app because I needed a countdown for something and I saw it had widgets. I am going to say I like how it’s free but the widgets shouldn’t be a part of the premium because the widgets are super useful and I think an update should fix that. Other than that I like how you can change the font and color of the text and you can change the photo of ur countdown. Very good overal.

Flippin’ love it!💙. I was looking for something to countdown to the inauguration & Countdown is perfect. I was able to customize the event (name, image) and pick the options for measuring the time. Initially, I did days, hours, minutes & seconds (sometimes I just watch those seconds tick off and it’s soothes me - like watching ocean waves. 🤣), but then I was able to switch it to days/hours/minutes for the last few days. This app is my favorite thing on my phone right now.

Need to be better. I like this app only problem is that it nice way to link them all your devices like I use for iPad and iPhone and would be nice do it on once device and it be fix on all other devices so I don’t go on every devices to fix or add or change it. Be nice way link them all together to work together but other then that I enjoy it. I love that there are choices of what wall paper to use and how change look too!

Doesn't Work. I purchased the premium app so that I could add my own music and photos. Everything worked fine until it came time to share the countdown. When I share to FB or message or email it is just showing one photo, no song. I have tried everything and still not working. I have sent an email to support and have gotten no response. I paid for this?? UNINSTALLED I have contacted Apple and put in a request for a refund. There is no reason on earth to pay a premium for the ability to add your own images and your own music only to find out that you can't share your custom countdown by text, email or social media. It only provides you with a link that gives a logo graphic from developer and when you click on the link, it is only one of your 10 allowed photos and no sound. I appreciate that the developer answered my email but there seems to be no solution offered. All the reviews that complain of the sharing issue go pretty far back and yet nothing has improved.

Wonderful app!. I really like this app because it is much easier than looking at a calendar and counting everyday it is very easy to use and very fun. You can upload any photo as the background with a touch of a bottom, very simple and fun to use. I highly recommend this app to someone who likes to know the exact countdown of time till a certain date. I would definitely get it!

Extremely disappointed. I used to use this app to have some countdowns. Mostly for friends birthdays, my own birthday, and special events I had on going on the year prior. Now, I can’t even use it. Unless you buy the premium, you can’t have more than one countdown, or choose events already in your apple calendar. I used to be able to have up to three free ones and choose any day I wish. Now I can’t even do that. I’m extremely upset and will be undownloading the app until something changes. Not worth the space unless you want to fish out some extra cash, which I think is ridiculous cause these features should be basic and free. Adding slideshow and stuff like that I can understand that you need premium but otherwise, unnecessary.

Was decent but stopped Working.. *I had to edit and take away a star because the music feature stopped working. So two out of the 3 upgrades o paid for does not work. I liked this app. I paid for the upgrade and added fun music to hype me up for my vacation and the widget is great. I can’t get the badge to work... it’s not an option in the Apple settings even though it’s switch on in the countdown app setting. I would also love to see an option for this to be a wallpaper on the background or lock screen of your phone. All in all it’s decent.

Ok..... This app is ok, it’s not bad, but it only lets me make one event then I have to delete it and reinstall it😤 I don’t like how you have can’t share it with anyone and that it gives you only limited options for a background I think we should be able to pick our own background! Also there are weird adds that always show up! LESS ADDS PLEASE!!! and then I once you’ve reached your event it should go on, it should just be over. These things really need to be fixed!!!😩 Other than that the app was pretty good! It wasn’t all that bad but still needs TONES of fixing

Does What You Expect. Some of the settings and how to change things are not the most intuitive but aren’t hard to figure out (my mom would struggle with it though). The amount of ads are annoying but can be put up with since it is free. I wish I could reorganize the order my countdowns are displayed in though. Overall it is a nice app that does what you expect it to. I enjoy the different features that it has like the choice of units to count down using (heartbeats is clever/cute). And I like being able to add my own pictures as countdown backgrounds.

It’s a countdown!. It’s a countdown app that does just that, provide a count down. I have the free version. I have 4 different count downs going to remind myself how many days my wedding, parties, and other important dates are away—and if I really need that chick-fil-a or piece of office cake 😬. I like that I can choose a personal photo for my background and I can change the fonts, colors, details of the countdown clock banner. I don’t really have any complaints about the app so far. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have that “lagniappe” that makes me say “you know what app you should download? It’s fantastic because ...”. If asked by a friend if I like the app, I would respond with “yes, it’s worth the free app.” ☺️

The Song You Set Will Play Without Opening The App?. I’m not sure if it’s a feature of the app, but I HATE that whatever song you set for an event, it’ll play without opening the app. It’s NOT playing from your ITunes playlist or anything it just plays at random times!!?? For example, I made a countdown till Christmas and set “I’ll be home for Christmas” to play when I open the app for the countdown till Christmas. Somehow, whatever countdown it’s on (in particular the Christmas one) the stupid song will play whenever it feels like it! I’ll be in the car driving and all of a sudden “I’ll be home for Christmas” will just play! Sometimes multiple times a day. I don’t understand this? This NEVER happened before I installed the app! I also have a new phone! What the heck? Well I like the app besides this weird glitch. Without it, it would be better. It’s not so great when the theme song to Halloween goes off at 1am for your countdown till Halloween.

Where’s the music?. I’ve been using this countdown app for years and always found it useful. One of the best features was the music it played when you opened it. You could choose from your own music library. Great example was hearing Viva Las Vegas when I opened the countdown for a Vegas vacation. But now the music doesn’t play, and I can’t find a way to add music for the event. What happened to the music with the countdown?

About this new, different version.... I’ve been using this app in five years, I know that this app has changed the icon and the free stuff. I can’t believe that from “change your own phrase” to “get Premium to change Phrase” and the one you could add another countdown. I wish that this app can let people (us) make their own countdown events as many as they want and the phrases when they are FREE. I don’t understand why this app wants us to spend our money to buy premium to make our countdown events.

Wonderful!. This app is really very good. I see a lot of people’s ratings, saying they don’t like the app because they paid for premium and it didn’t work out how they wanted. I did not (and have no plan to) get premium, but from other people’s experiences I do not recommend it. I do not have premium which is not a problem, and whenever I need a countdown this is always the app I use! If you are looking for a reliable, fun and simple countdown I highly recommend this app.

Badge counter has stopped working after last update.. I’ve been using the premium/paid version of this app since 2014 and I’ve never had any problems. However, after the most recent update, the badge notifications option disappeared. I did not change any settings, but still double checked to make sure I had the appropriate notification options selected in iOS. In the app, the option to select an event to have displayed via the badge has been completely removed. Very disappointing that the devs would remove a perfectly working function that I paid for!

Good app but one injection. Great app! I love how I can add my own backgrounds and music! However, one thing. So there is an app called Christmas Countdown and it counts the days, months, seconds, minutes, hours, and even breaths and heartbeats until Christmas. I have this app and I love how it says the exact numbers of hours, seconds, etc. this app says “ 4 months 23 days, 7 hours, 6 minutes, 39 seconds.” Ummm I want it to say “ 4 months, 163 days, 1,165 hours,” etc. So at least have an option to change it to exact instead of the hours and days until the next month. Okay? Other than that I would give it a 100%!

Rip Off! Don’t Buy!. This app does not work at all and the developers know it doesn’t work! But it works well enough to charge your card. I can’t get it to generate a link to my Facebook group, it tells me that my messenger is unavailable, I can’t get it to generate a link to my email. Simply put, I want my money back! There has got to be a way to report this I’m contacting Apple because it’s not right that these developers put these apps on here for us to purchase when they know it’s not working! And guess what I gotta purchase it again to use it on my iPhone?! I Will also be filing a better business bureau report against Sevenlogics Inc developer!

Thank You Countdown 🥺❤️. I’ve had this app on my phone now for a little over 6 years. When I moved away from home for school, I was so homesick. This app kept me going and counting down the days (even if it was over 140 days) until I was on a plane heading home again. Then, my boyfriend and I went long distance and the app once again kept me going until we could see each other again. Finally, with both of us back in one place and done with school, I am no longer in need of a countdown. Feeling a little sad and nostalgic deleting the app today, but just wanted to write a review to say thank you for getting me through ❤️ Hopefully will get to re-download soon to countdown a wedding?? 😏🙏🏼 Thanks Countdown!!

Can No Longer Resize/Crop Photos In The App. After two years of not being able to go anywhere I am finally using the app again. I updated it and noticed there is no longer an option to resize/crop pictures I want to use. Now pictures I am using are missing most of the image. I went and did the year subscription to see if that adds that option for photos. No it didn't and so now useless for me to use my own photos, a wasted $7.99 for a year and all it does is remove adds.

Do not purchase if you want to share your Countdowns. Can’t give this app more than three stars without the ability to share my Countdown. I have an important event coming up next year, one that is particularly special for me and a friend; I poured a couple hours into creating a dynamic countdown, with personalized music and a slideshow containing dozens of edited photographs. I would not have spent so much time if I had known sharing my work with others, a feature that commonly comes with other (free) countdown apps, is not possible with this one. What a bummer. You guys have done so many other things right; but none of it matters if can’t share your creation with other people. A person typically starts a countdown for an important event in their life, something they want to share with others; it’s such a fundamental feature on an app like this, I really am shocked you have not prioritized this fix above all else. Please update your app with sharing capabilities and I will update my review to five stars.

1 issue. Love the app, awesome concept of being able to customize the background and setting a widget. Also love that you can put music to your countdown when the app is open; with that being said the only thing that I do not like is that my app randomly will play the music set to my count down without me opening the app. If I have music playing it stops my music and please the music from the app. If I’m on a phone call it will randomly play the music as well. Both of which are extremely annoying because you have to open the app to close it for the music to shut off. I hope that this can be fixed, I think this is definitely one of the better count down apps available.

Not in my Notifications on iPhone. I can’t get the badge/countdown icon to work. (I bought the upgrade for that feature). I think it’s because the app doesn’t appear in my Settings-Notifications. I’ve closed the app, deleted and reinstalled 10 times. Anyone else had this problem and fixed it? Customer support has been good about responding but hasn’t been able to fix it. Maybe it’s time to give up and ask for a refund. UPDATE 3/9/18 I upgraded to 4 stars because I finally got the badge icon to work. The only thing I might have done differently is I made sure to CLOSE the app before I deleted and reinstalled it. So it works now. Strange though because when I open the app the countdown says one number and the number on the icon is one less than that. But I’ll take it. The customer service people have been responsive.

I bought it.. I purchased the full version of the app so I could see more events in my widget section of my phone. I do like that aspect but you should make it so the photo also shows in the widget section like the other count down app that has like 60k downloads or at least show the colors that you chose for the font and background of the font. All my events just look the same except different font but just all white with no backgrounds. Kinda of a bummer. Hope this updates soon.

Great app!. I can use this app to count down for big things, like big trips and my birthday. It will let you customize how you would like your countdown to look like, like if you want days or weeks, what background you want, and even the font of the countdown numbers! This is definitely a five-star app that I would recommend to my friends and family.

I love the game. I love this game because if i lost track of my son or daughter’s birthday or my summer vacation I will not lose track because if I just and one thing it says all the days years and more I just open a app and I remember that her birthday is tomorrow wish her a happy birthday the ads are like 2 seconds and not a lot of time so if I need to open something and I get one it’s 2 or if your lucky 1 second so that is why I give countdown 5 stars so thank you countdown and good luck and bye

Can’t rearrange. So I paid for the premium version to have the ability to rearrange my countdowns with being able to bring the most important to the forefront. Can’t figure out how to do it. There seems to be no option and I’ve checked everything in the app. Still like the app because of the countdown aspect of it and being able to use your own pics, but disappointed that I can’t rearrange. I didn’t need to pay for the premium version if I can’t access that feature.

I loved this app until.... I really loved this countdown app previously. I could add whatever background picture, style font, color for font, et cetera... I could be as creative as I wanted to be with the placement of the countdown. I could do slideshows and add it to my widgets on my Apple iPhone. Now it makes me watch an ad every time I try to change the font size. Or charge me $$ to add a widget. I can’t even edit a previous countdown without it repeatedly making me watch an ad. Key word - repeatedly. Select the settings for anything and I have to watch a 30 second game as for nothing I will ever download. I will be deleting this app. I wish I could insert the 42 second video of what it was like to wait for the ad to finish for me to edit anything. I recorded it via the new record screen iPhone update.

Perfect for Apollo 50th anniversaries. (First of all, the “most helpful” review is 2 years old, and says they’ll update it up from 3 stars to 5 if the app can share a countdown; it’s been doing that at least since July 2019, and it’s still 3 stars. Others are similar low reviews for no good reason.) Bach to Apollo: If you use the Apollo in Real Time site and like following alone with NASA’s Apollo timelines, this app is critical. It’s the only one I found that lets you display in hours:minutes:seconds (with days turned off, so 3 days shows as 72 hours), before or after the event date. (And, you can set the font to Futura, the same one NASA used!) You can also download a copy of the mission patch from Wikipedia or NASA, view in Photos full-screen and screenshot it so it’s the right size, and use that as the background. If you need/want to, you can then generate a URL to share the image & time to another device (the only issue is placement of the time, but you can drag it back into position). Everything I mentioned is in the free app - the only reason I’m paying for it is to support the author and hide the non-obtrusive banner ad at the top of the page.

Go Pro. A terrific App. I find that this App is easy to use with an allowance of various options to personalize. Try the free “limited” version however, you will most likely prefer the affordable Pro version without ads and extra features. The developers are commutative, accessible and want your feedback which is priceless in the App market, many developers seem to abandon or show a lack of interest in their application, you won’t find that here. I believe with feedback and support the app will continue to improve.

Paid for premium, still get ads. I paid for premium to be able to use the widget on my home page. Not only does the app crash every once in a while, but another selling point was just a lie altogether. They said paying would remove ads. It didn’t. Any time I open it I’m greeted by an ad that I won’t be able to skip until a little timer runs out. The ad I saw which caused me to write this, I was not able to close because it was formatted improperly. I was not able to hit the (x) to close the ad because it was partially off the corner of my screen. I had to reset the app in order to get it to close.

Cool app. It’s a nice app for having count downs. I’m using mine for a comedy show I’m looking forward to next month and for my vacation later this year. Only thing I wish is that I could have both countdowns as a widget but that is included with the paid app. It’s nice having the backgrounds changeable with the color font as well. The heartbeats since as a time segment was a really cute one for a Valentine’s Day card idea!

Not User Friendly. Once you set a countdown it’s hard to figure out how to find settings to edit.I mean, once you understand it, you get it. But there’s no user friendliness at all. Plus when you try to share it with your friends, it takes you to a webpage of an image of your photo with the reminder text in a different font from what you chose, it’s not in the same place you placed it in the app, and the music doesn’t play. The music should play. I tried subscribing to see if that would make a difference and it doesn’t. I don’t see any advantage to subscribing to this. Canceled immediately.

Slightly disappointed. I like the graphics of the app and all the details and photos you can use, and I can handle all the ads because that’s what comes with a free app often enough, but my main issue is that the reason for downloading a countdown app was to have a sort of Widget or badge on my phone main screen with a countdown, however you can only get that option if you PAY for it, which for me defeats the purpose. If I wanted to open an app to see how long I have until an event, I can just open my calendar. If you don’t mind that, more power to you, but for me the app didn’t do what I needed it to do.

Overall, great app!. Awesome app, just some ideas for improvement. Would like to be able to add more images. Also more templates added to use. We are buying a new home and there wasn’t an image for it. Not sure if something neat will happen at the end of the countdown. I hope so. It would be nice if that happens and maybe even choose what you see. Maybe balloons releasing, confetti everywhere, fireworks, big Congratulations sign. I love the slide show aspect, it’s awesome! Also would love if it could somehow be added to my phone as a screen saver so I didn’t have to click on the app to see it.

It motivates me exactly as I hoped it would. I have it set to random, so every time I open it it tells me a different unit of time such as, days until I graduate, months until I graduate, weeks until I graduate, hours until I graduate or minutes until I graduate. It’s fun and always makes me happy to open. There are three pictures to choose from, all are generically happy, I have mine set to the default which is a hot air balloon. Incase anyone is wondering I’ll graduate in 267 days!

Only 20 countdowns max, even with premium!. I’ve been using this app for about a year, I would say generally it’s a good app for free +ads. Colorful and simple. But I just hit the limit of entries! Apparently you’re limited to 20 entries. I started a trial of premium to see if that let me make more and - it didn’t!! Terrible!! Why would I pay to remove ads on an app that will randomly limit how many countdowns I can make?? To such a low number, too! I have used this to count down to my reunions with my long distance boyfriend, and I am sad that now I have to choose between keeping the “full” essentially useless app on my phone, or deleting cute memories. Really disappointing.

Can’t edit countdown if you leave the app mid-setup. I was creating my countdown and received a phone call so the countdown completed itself with the information that it had; which was very little and the only edit that I could make was the font. I deleted the app and downloaded it so I’m going to try again, but that’s irritating and should be corrected. Edit: This app is garbage! You can post it on social networks, but it doesn’t show the countdown -it provides a link to the countdown; which no one is going to click on. How do I know that no one will click it? Because I wouldn’t even click on it. I just wanted to post a cute little countdown on my Facebook, but that’s clearly too much to ask for... To the developer: No need to email - I told you what the issue is above: I received a phone call while filling in the info for the countdown and it finalized itself and wouldn’t allow me the ability to finish setting up the date etc. I deleted it and reinstalled and was able to create a countdown; however, it doesn’t do what I’m looking for, so the endeavor was an all around waste of time.

Can’t make more than one count down.☹️. Don’t get me wrong. The app is cool. I like the fact that you can select a background related to your countdown topic but the fact that you have to pay a premium fee to make more than ONE countdown. I get that they have to set a limit but ONE! This is a deal breaker. I think that this app is amazing if you only have one thing that you are looking forward to. Most of have more than one vacation or one break or one special event coming up. I strongly recommend that you get a different countdown app because this countdown app only allows one countdown at a time.

Awesome!. I have been using this app for a while now, and me and my family always use this app as it is really nice to know how long it is until you get to go somewhere fun. I had no problems with the app, as other reviews have said, they had some major bugs. Those bugs must have been hit or miss because mine worked fine. Developers, please fix the bugs as quick as you can. They seem to be really bothering people. I will update when my current countdown is over, which is in 2 weeks, and see if the notifications work, because I forget from the last time I used this app. Everyone, stay safe! Edit: I have just found out that you can turn reminders on and off on the app. I think many of the reviews were saying that their reminder didn’t work. All of you that want to customize things tap at the top of your screen (right below that adds) then press that gears!

Feeling ripped off. Purchased $2.99 upgrade to get rid of ads and they disappeared until I had to update and now they are still there. Contact screen to report it to the company errors every time so you can’t even contact them for help. Tried 7 times and errors out rather than submitting. App tries to force you to turn on location services because the only way to exit that screen is to agree or delete the app. I absolutely do not agree to provide them the ability to monitor my location and they have no need to require. PLENTY of other countdown options. Choose a different one because this one is not recommended.

Great app!!. This is a wonderful app the best one does everything I want but I want to get the premium version but it’s $4.49 could you put the price down it a little to much for a countdown app. THANKS!

Really?. If you’re going to make me pay money in a monthly subscription to use the widget feature once I’ve created the event, let me know beforehand—as I wouldn’t have downloaded the app! Don’t worry, I deleted it immediately. Waste of time and deceptively advertised.

Doesn’t look right. I had this app in my 6 plus and it worked fine now I have upgraded to 10 and it doesn’t look right no matter what photo I use it doesn’t align with the words. The words used to be on the pic now they are well above in the black and I can barely see them

Too many ads. If you want a free ready to use & easy customizable app.. This is not the app for you. I deleted the app after clicking one too many times on an ad

Horrible. False advertising. Downloaded the app, set up my widget, and as i went to add it to my lock screen, it told me it was a premium feature. Waste of time, poorly designed app not even worth a single cent from mine or yours wallet.

Like it!!. There is no glitches and it helps me remember my family’s birthday. All so I love uploading photos from my camera roll. You should download this app. Everyday you would get more excited to know how many days are left.

Countdown. This used to have a count down that was visable when not in the actual app. It has been removed and I don’t like it

Love this app!. I think countdown is a great app. I think there isn’t enough variety in the pictures. I wanted a countdown to my 11th birthday. Countdown had pictures for 15, 16 and some other ages but not the one I needed. Everything else is great though!

Frustrating. Have to reload data every time I open app. App wants access to photos to upload, then doesn't upload.

To many adds!. I love this app but The adds get in the way of stuff. It’s always showing me things I don’t need at my age.

Why does this app need to know my location. Opened the app after a recent update (I only use this app to countdown to holidays) and it came up with a pop up to say that location services have been turned on to find countdowns near me, and that I can turn off location in the app settings. I don’t want to know about countdowns near name so I went to settings to turn it off and the blurb about the location services said that it’s for advertisement purposes (so already two conflicting pieces of information, but I’m believing the latter). I turn it off, and go back, it turns it back on again with the pop up, and I do this three more times. You cannot use this app without sharing your location with them. Which is absolutely ridiculous. For the one task this app does, I can do myself- I now have deleted it. I am sick of things needing to know my location to give me ads.

Works for me. This App has been used by me twice now. Once for my wedding and next for counting down until my husband returned from service. I love that I can customise and use my own photos and can countdown to the second. Great app.

Love it!. Used the free version for one countdown. When I wanted to countdown to more than one I purchased. Have had no issues! No regrets on purchase either. Highly recommended!

Slow and full of ads. Plenty of other apps out there. This one is slow to load and has full screen ads before you get to your countdown. You want a quick check and move on. This one is tiresome.

Countdown Badge?!?. I’ve had this app for quite a while now and love most of the components. However, the part that I liked the most (the countdown badge on the app icon) has gone! I don’t want to have to go into the app every time to see my countdown... why did you get rid of this? And when others have made the same complaint, why not bring it back?

Does what you want but minor inconveniences. The countdown works but every once in a while it keeps reverting the background image to the default when I have changed it to a custom picture countless times. Rather annoying so I’m getting a different app.

Works good. This app is perfect and customisable it is simple but I only have two problems, first, how do I change the name of the event? Second, I can’t change the picture to my own. I would rate this a four or five star if it wasn’t for these problems.

A small bug. I am experiencing a slight problem in this app where I can’t delete an old event from 4 weeks ago. If this was fixed, it would be great

Poor sharing. When sharing the link to Facebook or to a message it is very poor. It doesn’t play the slideshow and the countdown time is half of the screen. Also can’t see it unless you keep going into the app. Disappointing.

Used to be good. Spam adverts with a countdown timer attached! As all things in the App world, it started out good. A simple task of counting down to a pre set date and time is now an advert fest! It’s a shame greed seems to destroy the most basic of apps.

Has great features. I’ve had this app for years. The ability to change fonts, add photos and name the event is fantastic. However, even with a paid subscription there are junk pop-up ads like ‘virus detected’. The home screen widget has a countdown but doesn’t show a picture and instead of saying ‘holiday’ or whatever you’ve named your event, it says ‘oops’. It was funny at first but now it’s just annoying having a grey box on my screen that says 135 days until oops

Absolutely no way. Can’t even try and see what this app can actually do without being bombarded with ads. Life is way too short to waste time on an app like this. It may be ok, but who is prepared to watch ad after ad to decide.

DONT BUY PREMIUM. you don’t need it the app does it’s job without it. learn how to use the app properly before you judge it

Dodgy ads. Was fine until it was monetised with low quality sketchy ads with pop ups looking like legit IOS messages claiming low mem and “press here to fix”. Now Deleted app.

Almost too customizable.... This is a 10 minute review: “how did I find the first 10 minutes of using this app?”... For an app that’s supposed to be an extension of your calendar/excitement building app... it falls short with being awkward and _not fun_ to look at or use. It takes ages to set up a single event (loading photos, fonts, colours) and when finished... the app font might not work with the default Apple widget aesthetic. Pros: - Calendar event link (note, you cannot change the title of an event in the app so if you have connecting flights to a place, you’d be better off doing it manually). - Lots of choice with fonts which is nice to go with photos - Landscape mode - No “categorizing” which you see in other apps (this is a personal thing. Events for me don’t need to be categorized in an app like this, I would do that in my own calendar) Cons: - Excessive ad placement: There’s an ad in the widget and another ad every time you press a button. - Too much choice for most of it: Slows down the process of creating events and the font I chose to go with my photo ended up looking silly in the widget (above the ad which was a different font too). - Default photos cannot be removed: even though free doesn’t include a slideshow, I accidentally swiped up once and a different (default) photo appeared which was completely separate to my event. Weird.

Photos. One problem is that when I go to use one of my own photos for a countdown they turn out all pixelated. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it several times but it’s still happening.

Gone backwards. Have had this app for years and loved it, but since updating recently it doesn’t show how many days on the app icon. Now I have to open the app to see.... not happy.... It no longer has provision for this in the settings either. Please fix this because that’s what I paid for.

Finally !! A fantastic countdown timer. I love a good countdown timer! And I got a new phone months ago and haven’t been able to find a good one until today. I must’ve tried at least 10 with free trials and all, but nothing let me do what I wanted to do. This app lets me set the measurement that I want (no seconds and minutes if I don’t want!!), move things around, have my own photo. It’s really great and I just subscribed for a year. Just for a bit of fun, it even lets you choose your heartbeat as a countdown! It has a widget, and most of all it looks super flash. I love this app and can recommend.

I had been looking for a app that would tell me my events finally found it. It is a great application it has helped me a lot but somethings there area does that come up there wise it is an a amazing app.

I paid for Premium, but when I open the app I get a full screen ad that I can’t get rid of, because the (X) in the upper right corner is only partially visible, because of the curvature of the iPhone screen edge doesn’t reveal enough of the (X) to touch it effectively. But the real question is, why am I getting a full page ad after I paid for premium to get rid of them? LOL

Liking this…. This is just a great simple easy app and even better if you buy the full version because it can be edited to any photos or slideshows and it’s excellent,m. Never had a single bad issue with it. Highly recommend if you have kids….any ages… counting down… the sleeps until summer holidays…and you have finally nailed it down to the minutes and seconds….excellent.

Not worth it. You have to pay to customize what your count down is called, what the photo background is and a bunch of other features for the app to function. There’s an app called countdown star that does everything for free use that instead :)

Ad banner across countdown. It’s a free app, I get it. But there is a giant add banner right across the number that won’t go away so I can’t even see the countdown number.

It is okay. It works well as a countdown but sometimes has glitches. For example, it is sometimes difficult to add a personal picture to the background as it glitches during that. Also, a widget should be included like other countdown apps.

Great Retirement Calc!. I use the countdown for vacations and retirement. Its fun to know how far you got. I also use it to keep track of past events too. Like our wedding date.

Greedy developers. I paid for premium, which was supposed to remove ads. The only ads it removed were the banner ads on the app. They still pop open an ad every time I open the app and make me click to skip the ad. This is extremely annoying. They blatantly lied about removing ads and still show ads to paid subscribers. I will be launching a complaint with apple and getting a refund ASAP. Steer clear of this developers apps.

Just bad. Review. Lacking Share Features. I was under the impression, which may be my fault for perceiving the pictures and descriptions incorrectly, that this was shareable in an embedded field for a live preview on social. My two options are to share a link with a thumbnail I cannot change that doesn’t use my picture or title only advertises your company. This with the “premium” I paid for. The only other share option is a screen shot…..I left two stars as I could have made what this app provides myself.

Amazing 10/10. Being impatient and excited for a trip I wanted to see how long until the trip. It’s definitely amazing. I had set the reminder for 6 hours and it wasn’t working. I realized it was 6 hours before the trip. I thought it was every 6 hours. Still 10/10.

Favorite Countdown App!💯. I think that this app can’t get any better. It’s super awesome that you can play music when you open the app! There are so many things that you can customize... like font, font color, music, backgrounds, and more! There are no pop-up ads, and you can make more than one countdown. Countdown.. I absolutely love this app!!! I can countdown to whatever and make it unique. Out of all the countdown apps I’ve had, this one is by far my favorite. I gave it a 5 star rating because of how good it is. I would definitely recommend this to people all around the world.

Tracking location. I downloaded this app and quickly realized it was full of ads, so much that it was not usable. I deleted this app, but noticed on my pull down menu that it was still tracking my location. Even though I specifically chose for it not to. I’ve went through my settings, and can’t even find the app, unless I use the lull down menu, and there it is. Tracking my location. Very sketch. 0/10 would not recommend. Do not download this app.

Widget options?. I bought this because I liked the widget option, but I would like to be able to change the font color and show more than the day count as well. Currently the grey font is very hard to read depending on the phone wallpaper. Can these options be considered and possibly implemented in the future? Thank you.

Is there a way to change a font color in the widget?. I’ve tried every single countdown app available in the App Store and I find this one to look and feel best, but the font in the widget is white and it’s hard to see unless you have a darker wallpaper installed. Uhh..... Okay I Guess. I originally got this app to have a countdown to my birthday. I thought it was a good app. Then I found out that EVERYTHING is with the premium package which really stinks because it’s four bucks for everything and you can’t even do more than one countdown without buying the premium package. I know that this app has to make money somehow, but COME ON PEOPLE! So if you have the choice to install this app for a countdown or make a paper chain one, pick the paper chain.

Eh. So I spent $7.99 to have no ads and guess what I have? Ads. When I first open the app, there are ads there and a button that says continue to the app. I’ve tried restarting my phone and it’s still there even after my subscription updated. Honestly I just want my money back. The app works fine enough but who wants to look at some trashy cartoonish ads for some game?

Widgets. Love the app, have had it downloaded for over 5+ years now and have many countdown/up timers. The only issue I have is that it does not support iOS widgets on the home screen app yet. This is something that I believe would be a fantastic addition to a future update, as it would boost the overall effectiveness of the app and the user happiness.

Music plays when not in app... scary.. After the new iPhone update my phone started randomly playing Shape of You by Ed Sheeran if my sound was on for no reason. Any time of day. Using the phone or not. It was terrifying because I could not figure out why it was happening. Turns out it was because I had that song set for my anniversary and that was the countdown I had. Had to uninstall because I was tired of being serenaded at random times and being freaked out. Fix that bug and I’d change my rating and reinstall.

I love all of the features. I love how you can share it through messages also how you can add you own music and pictures. I have a very important event coming soon and I love to check it to see how long I also love how you can change the units of time and even change it to heartbeats.

I used to love it.... I have been using this app forever for my countdowns for vacations. I just now went to the app and put multiple countdowns in like I always do and type my own phrase. But now you have to pay extra that is absolutely ridiculous!! I never used to have to pay extra I’m very upset to find out that now I have to pay extra if I want to type my own phrase or have multiple countdowns. Please fix this!!

Very good. I love this app its great. It has cool features to customize your countdown however you like. I like that you can have a slide show of your own pictures. Oh and it’s really cool that the countdown isn’t only viewable from the app, it’s viewable when you swipe left on your home screen (iPhone)

Couldn’t share event-app kept crashing. Though I didn’t go super crazy on the personal development of my event countdown, it was still quirky enough that I wished to share it with a few friends who would also be included in the event. I was unable to even access messenger (messenger access currently unavailable pop up) and each time I tried either Facebook or text, I would get the “generating link” message with the working wheel and then boom! The app will crash. Every. Single. Time. Basically, this is good if you’re the only one who cares what’s on your calendar.

Recommend if it’s just a simple countdown. I personally think the app is great. I highly recommend if you have something coming up and every once in a while you pop into the app to check and see how much longer it will be until the event. I like how it tells you months, days, hours, minutes and even seconds! I recommend!

Still get ads… and won’t auto refresh. I paid for the premium but when I open the app, I have to click through an ad to “continue to app” doesn’t seem ad free as it claims. Also the widget icon doesn’t update automatically. It says an outdated countdown until I open the app, then it refreshes the widget. I don’t want to have to do that constantly. Definitely room for improvement

Used to be great. I used the free version and loved it but decided to upgrade to the premium paid version. Still no problems until the most recent update last month. Since then I cannot use my own photos and the ads are excessive. I contacted the developer and received a response a couple days later that they are aware of the issues and are trying to fix them. Once they do, I will adjust my rating. They need to revert back to the previous version.

Sometimes works. Sometimes the music plays when you open it. Sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes the “slides” work. Sometimes they don’t. I’m about to delete this countdown app for a more reliable one... Edit: the developer replied to my feedback to inform me that an update is coming soon. I thank them for their responsiveness and look forward to the app working normally again.

This Is Great!. I love this app so much! It helps me figure out how long it’s gonna be Until School is over! I really recommend! Unlike other countdown apps, on this one you can customize the font, the color, and even the background! And it doesn’t even cost money! It’s amazing!!! Totally recommend

If it only had a one time purchase option.... If this app had a one-time purchase option, I’d buy it. The free version is nice with simple font, background, and photo settings. You can even add music and move the countdown text around the photo screen a bit. But it won’t display as a widget unless you purchase the annual auto-pay subscription. 😕Moving on to find another app!

Freezes after 5 seconds in the app. Was working fine until today. The app would freeze after being in it for 5 seconds. Restarting the app does nothing to fix it. But in all fairness this app did its job successfully up until that point.

I can share on Facebook. I am happy that I can actually share this app on Facebook with real time countdown! Just click on the app icon and hold it till the window pops up that says share you can share it to your usual social media, email, Snapchat etc. I have an old iPhone 6s Plus. Hopefully this helps for all you iPhone users

PERFECT APP. I love everything about this app and I look forward to upgrading soon! you can change the background photo, the font, the color of the font. The only problem for me was recently whenever I tried to change the background my phone crashed. But I really love this app 😁

Doesn’t work. Paid for premium so I could edit the time format & it lets me change & save it in the app but once I add the widget to my Home Screen, it defaults back to showing number of days only. Before I paid for premium, it showed correctly, just locked. I had to reboot my phone to even get it to acknowledge I had paid for premium. I recreated the event several times & reinstalled the app & still the same results. Thankfully I only did the 2.99 for 3 months.

This app stinks. This is a horrible countdown app. My sister uses this app and told me it is a good app to use. When I try to add a picture, I click add and nothing pops up so I then try to change the current photo but I couldn’t do that either. You also can’t delete a current picture. You have to make a new countdown if you want to get rid of it. Having adds in the countdown picture is also very annoying. It makes since for there to be add but not right on your picture.

Disappointed. The app is quite cool and let’s you choose whatever song you like, I decided to purchase premium with the intention of being able to use the slideshow mode AND to share the countdown until our Marine returns home with my mother in law. Turns out that we’re not able to share the Live Countdown and slideshow, only a photo and no music. On top of that, I tried to screen record it at least to show her how it all turned out, and the music comes off. :(

Really good app!. I downloaded this app to count down the days my disability check would get deposited in my account. Because I can’t download any apps without money. It’s weird but I guess Apple does that. So the countdown continues until that day. I’m feel blessed to have this app.

Music wakes me up at night. I love this app a lot and my girlfriend and I enjoy creating our vacation countdowns every year. The only bad thing I have to say is that this year for some reason the music I use in my countdowns plays randomly throughout the day. I’ve woken up two hours before I had to go into work bc I thought it was my alarm going off.

Cool App but lacks one important feature. I make countdowns to share with friends- this app gives you that option- but only really shares the clock in a basic unedited format and one picture no sound- so not terribly impressed- I would like to be able to send friends a link that show them the countdown as edited with slideshow and music- otherwise this app is no better than the free ones out there

Great app but.... This app it great my only problem is it won’t go a a widget for my home screen but neither will any other countdown app and it doesn’t remind me every day like I set it to but it’s still a great app it’s also very easy to set up count down once you get the hang of it and I love the way you can pick different photos for it and personalize the countdown as you want

Worst Countdown App. This app is not the best. Honestly there are several other apps to chose from that don’t bombard you with ads when you try to make another countdown. On other apps I was able to make several countdowns and change picture backgrounds FOR FREE. You can also share your countdowns on other platforms. Overall, this app isn’t even worth downloading unless you have one countdown that you won’t share with anyone, and you like watching ads.

Is missing something!. I think the app is great, but is missing something! There are no apps that can offer to show the countdown in the lock screen of the phone!! That would be amazing if it had that option to choose from. I downloaded the app because I’m excited for my big day and I would love it if I can see the countdown when I get my phone to see what time is it on the lock screen! You should add that feature and definitely would be a 5 starts!

Does it All. Great app. I can have multiple countdowns that I can quickly swipe through. Everything is highly customizable- I can choose fonts, time increments, and (best of all) pictures. The app has dozens of pictures to choose from or I can easily download my own. I’ve become a little obsessed and have countdowns for everything.

Can’t share music. I purchased the premium version. Added photo and music, shared the link with the person I built the countdown to celebrate and he can’t hear the music. So I bought the premium version because I could add these functions. Yeah I could add them but not share them and I would have liked to know that upfront. Great countdown I really enjoy it but that feature of music removed when sharing takes a lot away from it

Very good and precise. The app is very good when you need a reminder to something important. It alerts you when your countdown or date is up. It lets you customize your letters, numbers, and background of your countdown. The only thing I would say is that it costs money to do a slideshow. Slideshow isn’t necessary but it would be cool to use without paying. Overall really nice app.

Love and affection. Hi, I actually think your app works pretty great it’s a huge adrenaline rush and it gets you super excited. To be fair not going on the app for a few days and coming back to how much time you have left has you like 0-0. I gave you five stars because this was recommended to me by my boyfriend and is actually all he said it could be and more so thanks for being So GREAT.

Amazing!. me and my friends made a time capsule and this app tells me when we get to unbury it. it gives the exact amount of time that i need to wait. you can pick the image in the background too. it’s an amazing app— i would 100% recommend this app.

Love this app. I’ve been using this app for years! I purchased the premium version a while ago & its great. Just wish the newer widget also had the option to show months, days, minutes & seconds instead of just showing days.

Love it!. I’m in a long distance relationship and this app helps me count down the days until I see my significant other again. I love that you can put a picture in the background and everything. It’s something simple but just enough features to keep me satisfied.

Why You Should Rename It. This app is great. I like that I can warp time by pretending that 3 weeks is a shorter amount of time than 21 days. My only suggestion is that you change the name of the app till “Is It Time to See Babe Yet?” I say that only because counting down the days till I see my girlfriend next is the only thing I use the app for. Other than that, it’s great.

Widget disappeared - update. Looks like with the iOS update you’ve gone to a premium service. Ok, I get it, the app does look better than it did. I had some issues getting it placed where I wanted it. Now that it’s back on my “today” screen I love it! I’m counting down to retirement (50 days!) and since yesterday’s iOS update my widget is gone. Where’d it go?
