As a casual look at fruit for those of us who are migrating to more of a plant-based diet, I enjoy this app. Would love to see intelligent info on local, organic, pesticides, GMO, and "superfoods", etc. That's asking a lot for a free app, I know. When I downloaded it, it immediately went to the current month, so I'm not sure what is happening for other reviewers. The photos are … luscious. The anecdotes are cute. Thanks, and please keep developing this.
Thanks for the great app. I eat a predominantly fruit based diet. I eat so much fruit that I have to go to the Distributor to buy it in bulk. This app is priceless. Besides the app being written well... The information on what fruit is in and if the price is falling or raise... Words can not describe the value of this app. Even if you are not crazy fruit person. This app is great if your at whole foods and just want to see what is in season and if you are paying too much. Thanks again for the great work putting this app together and updating the information in it.
I just bought this (Apr 2012) and the content is current to Aug 2011! I ran the update process (3 times) as it said "new content available" and after it was successful each time ("download 100% complete" and restarting the app) it still said Aug 2011 and "new content available". Either the update process is broken or Tommy K is slacking off on his job of updating the content. I want my money back!
I cannot download the update, so it still says Nov 2011. :(
anything it suggests is really good. I only buy what it tells me to now. before this app, I would buy what I wanted to eat, and was disappointed frequently. here is why it is great: it knows what fruit is good before it even hits your store it gets you to try fruit again you may have had a previous bad experience with by telling you when to buy the "try it now" feature is my favorite, lots of great overlooked fruits out there that it suggests when the time is right
I've started a plant-based diet and BFN helps me broaden my fruit choices ! The app is fun and so easy to use, thank you thank you thank you!!! When are you coming out with a veggie version?
Great advice ! Thanks, Best Fruit now !!
. It's Oct I just bought this and the date on the home page says Aug. Also it's showing cantaloupe as the fruit to buy there is a food poisoning outbreak right now w cantaloupes yet no warning.
Needs to be updated. Information is for February. 4 months out of date.
Awesome app! Used to use the site but it's gone now so I'm using there app. Definitely worth $2 so I'm sure I'm not wasting money on bad fruit!
