Awesome APP but.... To get rid of help bubbles i pressed "?"-worked for me. I have problem with recording after update with standard mic. Lost volume when recording. Now I have to set input as 11 and record volume on track at 1. Results are not that great. I have been using this app for over 1 yr and payed for 8 track in app purchase. I am disappointed after sending 2 emails to IK I got NO reply. Please fix and update again! I truly love the app the way it was before.

Almost complete. Add a 6-10 band visual eq and a visual compressor and this app is complete

There are bad apps...and then there. It's almost impossible to adequately describe how horrible this app is. Not only is it frustrating to pull recorded tracks off the iPod and into iTunes to possibly burn onto a CD, but the so-called user manual is of no assistance. And speaking of assistance, when you finally do reach someone at the company to help, they tell you that tech support is outsourced and can only be accessed by e-mail. The microphone works well, but what good does that do if you can't access what you've recorded.

what happened??. this app was really good but after the iphone update the mic has a terrible popping static noise going on and it gets worse when you turn on the fx, haven’t found any way to fix the issue, i’ve even swapped headphones and mics and it still there. pls fix this issue cuz this app was really good and its not fair to be paying $25 if it’s gonna make a horrid popping noise :(

too tedious. registered and went back in to start experimenting and asked me to register or sign in again. Couldnt seem to get anywhere so deleted the app

Not intuitive. They make you sign up for an account to view the user manual, which is completely backwards. I ended up deleting the app.

Feedback. Auto-tune could be made a little bit better. App wont close when i click out of it, so i have to switch off my itouch. I see there has been new changes and updates to this app. I see it is still having truble with it. Please continue to update it! Thank u

VocaLive song player. I like the app, my only problem is the songs are alphabetical on my iPad and iPhone 6, however, they are not my iPhone X

Not the Vocalive app used to be after IOS 15. That’s the honest truth, after the IOS15 update Vocalive app either for iphone or ipad it’s a mess… a lot of crashes, lagging, damaged files at downloading/uploading, unable to play songs downloaded on iphone because the songs are playing faster. Sadness

It’s been over 3yrs. Update VocaLive it’s a priority app also ridiculous it’s taking you this long

Rip off registration. Registration process will fail when you make in app purchases or multiple device purchases. you will be ripped off by this greedy company. Support is nonexistent.

in-app purchase warning. The app is prone to crash and have bugs but it functions in a useful way. I never had a problem until I purchased the recorder in-app purchase (as I didn't want the full app and only that one feature). The app loaded my purchase and it was fine, however, when I closed out of the app and opened it back up again, the recorder feature was gone and it was asking me to buy the feature again. Wow, thanks for that! All of the in-app purchases are starting to reek of scam. Be wary with this app.

Hall of Fame App. Please support Bluetooth wireless devices such as AirPods Pro. This app is still amazing 10 years later

Best simple but powerful recording app anywhere. This app deserves so much more credit. I have downloaded every other multi track device with "effects" out there and this blows everything out. And no you don't need IRig, the iPhone mic is killer. You have to spend 5 bucks on the multitrack but so worth it. 5 stars all around, buy this app!!!

Awsome. I have used this app which has gave me the real mic experience that I always wanted. I also like how you can email, and upload your tracks to soundcloud. Its neat to also be able to buy editing tools as you go.

Where's iPad app?. So OK, just bought the iRig mic to use with my iPad, but what a bummer - there's no iPad app. Sorry guys, but whats the point using this app on iPad (on your site you state that its compatible with iPad) just to have tiny user interface when there's all that available space. Bad, very bad. Specially knowing that it doesn't take a lot to redesign graphics for iPad.

I love singing with the effects, wish it could record video. I actually love singing with the effects, it is the best real time effects that I have found. I just wish I could record video at the same time. I hope they make this a possibility in the future!

This app was great...at first:(. Now I’m really annoyed it won’t let me get back in,everytime i Open the app it closes😡it’s unreliable and I’m so disappointed I always have to reinstall the app for it to work again and end up losing all of my songs ,FIX IT please!!!!!

Lovely. It's simple and does a great job. I received a voice over narration assignment and, using an iRig mike, read the entire script using this software and sent the tracks to the producer directly over email. The narration was edited and cut and done! For quick demos, fast takes, there is nothing like this. I would like to see a graphic EQ so I could adjust the highs and lows of my finished product with setting that I can save so my takes all sound the same day after day. Bravo! You made great stuff for this VO artist.

Can’t use it. Would have gave it 5 stars but I had it on my old iPhone and when I upgraded from the 11 to the 13 pro, all my data plus apps were transferred to my new phone but this app is the only one that will not open and that is a problem because I paid to use extra stuff in the app and I don’t want to uninstall the app and reinstall the app because I have unfinished music that I need to finish can you please respond back to me about this issue.

In between!!. It's really a good and bad app at the same time!! The cool thing is that u can like here yourself like your speaking into a micro. It's really cool!! It's also cool how u can sing along with your face songs on your ipod and stuff! The part that gets annoying is how is squeaks really loud whenever you get loud or whatever. Also how you can't record and sing at the same time unless you set both at the right time but you still get confused!! But it's still really cool so that's why I'm giving it a 4stars cause I'm nice like that!! :)

Good app!. I love to record music and this app works perfectly, but I did have to buy the four track to record my music. However I bought a new mic the other day and I was so excited to see if it worked with Vocalive and it didn't.... I am so angry!! It makes me mad that you can only use the Irig with the app. And I LOVE this app!

Giving me a hard time since Update with mixer last year. Ever since the update with the new mixing system with this app, I have not been able to use vocalive free the way I use to.. It's been since the summer. This app would freeze and I would hear distortion while recording and playing back the track I've recorded.. Evening upgrading to a new device, I was still having problems. This app was updated recently, so, I thought this app would work better knowing it's now compatible with IOS 8. But, sadly, I still have the same problems.. Doing what Customer service told me as well didn't work either.. I am giving up on this app.. 😞

App have cracking sound issue with iOS 16.2. I am using this app with iOS 16.2 but there is a sound issue using effects. I don’t know how long they will take to fix this issue. Real-time sound effects have random voice issues.

Engine is GREAT / User interface needs work. First thing is first: CHANGE THE ICON. I passed this app over for months and months because I didn't want to download something that wouldn't help me as a songwriter. Whoever wrote the program's engine is the real hero. Ultra low latency, great lush effects and I love the ability to save your own presets. Possibly the beat engine out of all the other apps I've been downloading for the last 2 years. However, the interface needs some serious work in the navigation and chaining of effects. I can't figure out the relationship between the favorites and the presets. The screen I'm in doesnt tell me. Bottom line, the navigation needs work and maybe the entire interface needs a refresh to be taken more seriously. Its gotta start with that barbie doll / American idol wanna-be icon. Rip a page out of Sonoma wireworks 4 track app. It's nice and clean and at the end of the day, simplicity with a great engine wins, not just one or the other. Market this as an alternative to Sonoma's 4 track recorder and they'll finally have some competition.

When is VocaLive going to be working again?. I love VocaLive. It hasn’t been working for a long while, many many months. Are there plans to fix it? It is an essential aspect of what I do with live looping on IOS. Thank you in advance.

Kool Kidz Icon!!!. You get 5 stars when the icon changes. It looks like a bunch of 90s moms made this app icon to deter their children from smoking or something. It's a Chucky Cheese icon. It conjures imagery of Jazzy Jeff and denim vests. I hate this icon, it is a nightmare. Many celebrities have made mention that they think the app is good, but the icon is frightful. The president has signed a bill into law that you must make a better icon. The app is good, except the keyboard is super low-res. get it iOS8ier. I would like to see a more sophisticated noise filter. Otherwise, the app is a flash of human brilliance an amazing step forward in mobile musicianship. I love it. This icon is agony. Gigantic! Gigantic! Gigantic! A big, big love!

Amazing, professional sounding app!. Hi! Really love this app. Once you get to learn how it works, just amazing! One little thing though. Updating it to work wirelessly would be so great! A little primitive that corded headphones are needed in order to listen to the recording. Can you please, please make it wireless soon. Especially when Apple took out the physical audio input and output out of their new phones... 😩😩😩 Please update... 🤗🤗🤗

Doesn’t work with GarageBand. I really like the app. The problem is: it is supposed to work with GarageBand, but it doesn’t!!! Every time that I try to record I lose all audio. It is buggy when you use it as an inter-app effect. I did pay for the upgrade, but it is not worth it. Not until the fix the compatibility issue. I am unable to use the app for the purpose that I paid for it. I want my money back!

App crashes. I would’ve given this app a higher rate if it weren’t for the fact that this app spontaneously crashes. It’s super annoying. especially when you have recordings that you like on it. you will lose them eventually.

Great sound and functionality. I'm giving this 4 stars simply for the fact you can't delete a track you recorded. You have to record over it like you would of you had a old 4 track tape recorder. This is not a tape recoder and should not be that hard to delete a track you recorded so you can try again. But other then that, I got to say they did a great job on this app! Sound is great no latency unless using the high end plugins. Revered works great, bit would like to see more options. Other then it's limitations I recommends buying this app. Cheaper to buy the pro other then Getting the lite and having to buy all the ad ons make it 3x more costly. Have fun!

Demo problems. I really like this app, unfortunately the reverb stopped working for no reason. I would hope this would be a huge concern to a potential buyers like myself. I would have spent the 20$ as this is well worth it, but until something is done about the bugs, and glitches I cannot justify it. FYI the reverb would not work no matter what I did. I tried every setting in the app nothing. I closed and restarted the app several times nothing. Restarted my iphone4 nothing. The only thing to bring back the reverb was to delete, and reinstall the app.

5 stars.... until now. This app is the best digital studio I’ve used by far, until yesterday when it stopped loading. When I click the VocaLive icon, the screen appears, but instead of the app starting a few seconds later, it shuts itself off. It may have something to do with the new iOS update, but whatever the issue is, I hope it’s fixed soon. I had only a few days ago deleted all of my other studio apps, and began relying solely on this app for all of my recordings, and now I’m munsunded.

update is better. I only use this app for the 'vocal remover'... I've been using this app nonstop for a few months now and I really love it! Anywho, it would be brilliantly amazing if you were able to save the vocals you removed from a song, and actually be able to hear the VOCALS ONLY. I was amazed when I found this app; it was something I needed in my life....

Used to love this. But I’m done now. Playback is hideously garbled - so it’s rendered this app useless.

Sing in tune with gaming headset. Finally it's there! I always thought how nice it would be to walk along the house with a headphone on and at the same time hear your own voice with reverb mixed into the track you're playing. Amplified singing or humming along the track in tune (if you can sing) is great for song practice or just for fun when you want to be a part of the track to. Headphones are great for that, and when other people hear you sing with Vocalive it may sound great cause of the fact that the singer can hear his or her own voice. And it doesn't have to be loud. As far as I know there's not (yet) a quality headset with a special iPhone plug for mic ànd sound (only the ones with mic in the cable for phonecalls). You have to buy a (hard to get) adapter for this purpose and a quality gaming headset. So the iRig mic is ok but when you want your hands free (when cleaning the house, cooking etc) a headset with a quality mic is a better idea.

New update made the app crash. After the new update the app crashes as soon as you launch it.

Super janky. It distorts and doesn't work well with any other apps outside of vocalive itself.. Literally useless. Beyond regretful I spent money on this app. Don't be like me.

This app. I really love this app and I also love to sing but I dont have any real mikes and stuff cus I get embarist in front of people I'm working on not being though but this app really is great it makes u feel really good about your singing but is is kinda noisy and u can't delete old recording

Apps crash always. When I use this in free it work with limited functions. Then I bought 38 dollars for those effect and it work a bit unti my phone and ipad upgrade os ver. 15.1 then this app not work anymore. Its a waste of money.

Playback. With this new version,There is a slight delay on the playback when it is set on pitch fix.but its fine when pitch fix is turned off. Can this please be fixed and updated please! Other then that i like the rest of this new updated version. Thank u!

Good app but very noisy. I've used this on my iPhone 6S Plus and my iPad. The app functionality is great but sadly I find I get lots of noise/hiss. I'm using it with an iRig Stomp. As soon as I kick the pedal on, the hiss appears. If I close the app or kick the pedal off, the hiss goes away. Perhaps a free noise gate effect or option would help?

Why won’t it work anymore!!! 😡. For the last two weeks, when I go to open the app, it loads, then cuts itself out taking me back to my phone menu. Can some explain to me what in the haaaaam sandwich is going on?

No effect?. The free version claims to include one effect, reverb, but it doesn't work at all. How are we meant to sample this app if the only effect to sample doesn't work?

pitch fix not working. i have my apple earphones plugged into my Iphone 8 plus. when pitch fix is on, it isn’t doing anything. how can i fix this? (i know it isn’t the earphones because i plugged it into my brothers phone and worked perfectly on the app) thanks

Fail!. It won't record !!! Should definitely come with some instructions...

Zero stars. This app is impossible to use. It's difficult to figure out how to apply Fxs. And even when you've paid for extra effects - and spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how to apply them - a quick check of the record option confirms that they don't actually apply an effect to the vocal at all. You might as well record in the voice memo app. Oh and the "karaoke" option? Sure you can upload a song into the app but it doesn't take the vocals out. Bottom line? This app is complete crap. I want my money back.

Irec mic don't works !!!!. I did have some reaction of the mic once, but now I'm having a hard time to make it work into the app. No that user friendly. Well from a father who wants his 9 years old daugther to sing.

0 stars. I've just really had it with these app dev companies that are negligent when it comes to (not) explicitly stating what the free version does and doesn't do. In this case, the free version does literally nothing but demand payment to unlock features. It does nothing. Nothing. It's really just unethical so while I very well might have purchased otherwise as I am a pro musician who dabbles in iOS on the road composing, IK MultiMedia has lost the prospect of my business for failing to be dutiful to detail the limitations of the free app. Transparency, IK MultiMedia, not BS games.

Not a great app. I bought the irig mic . The first 2 days i was so excited; however, after that and after spending about 80$ I found out about 2 big problems. First, if you don't use headphones and plug in a stereo, there are lots of radio noises( like chinese or japanese radio fm). The other issue is the low quality of the recorded song, which is terrible. If the company care and fix these problems, I'll definitely go for 5 stars. But for now 1 star is the best rate i can give.

Omg what did you do?!. I have been using this app since 2011. This is the free app, but I had purchased all the add-ons after I tried out the free app. All effects except the autotune. And I've been using it successfully and I loved it. The update with the full studio in 2014 created a very big problem with singing on more than one track--like if you wanted to double your voice the real way--which is the only way that I ever do it. Some kind of random muting would happen on any track that was not the track that you had selected to arm with you armed it or not (on every device--I have used different models of ipod, iphone, and ipad). I tried to get you to fix it and instead you put out this update that is for guys with a sh&tload of engineering experience! Why? The only people that used your app were people like me who just wanted to get their voice on a track that was already mixed. And now I have no idea how to use it and no matter what I do it sounds like sh&t. It won't blend (which it did beautifully before), it feeds back very easily and so you have to pull the high-end off and turn it down, the drop off on the built-in mic is miniscule (it used to sound great). I have no idea why you think that somebody is going to use your app who would use GarageBand or some other thing like ProTools. Nobody is going to do that! Now you've lost all chances of having people use your app because the guys who need full recording abilities are going to find problems and limitations with your app and that it is just not good enough for them. And the people like me, who need to be able to just plug in and go, can't use it because we're not engineers and you've made it ridiculously complicated! Now I've got to find something else to use, and now I got to give you a really crappy rating. And on every place that I've ever posted any of my songs, I've always told people what I use and how great and easy it was. And now I will go back and tell them not to use it and how horrible it is. I'm the one that contacted you about the problem with the random muting on tracks when trying to add a harmony or to double my voice if you'd like to know who this is. You could've just put this out as a completely separate app and marketed it to people who are looking for something complex and semi pro. This is no longer for singers! Change the name, because it is no longer strictly a vocal app. SINGERS!! Do NOT use this. Do NOT download the free one. You won't have good results and you will find it very complicated and UNUSABLE unless you are a singer with a lot of engineering experience. And if someone leaves a good review, they are either lying, or they haven't actually tried it, or they're not just a singer--they have engineering experience. And they probably never used the original app. I, on the other hand, actually know what this app could do and I actually used it all the time and I actually used it for almost 5 years. So if you think for one second that I'm just being a whiner or complainer, I'm not, because this was the best thing that I had ever found. And now I have to find something else--and so should you.

Nice app. Great hidden gem, lets you sing/karaoke to your own songs ... for free. Live microphone and lots of free features. Even lets you download music from your computer to the app without having to go through itunes. I'm definitely considering the full version.

Confusing. I put an iTunes song on then press record put when I press play all I heard was me!! No music! Am I doing something wrong?????

This app and ongoing issues sucks. I paid over $30 for the app plus for extra add ons. It stopped working and was very difficult to resolve. Now with Apple iOS 15 they say it is incompatible and are not responding to emails. I would suggest using another app. Mine will not even open and a lot of work is inaccessible.

MY #1 FAV APP. I use this app everyday. It is absolutely my most favorite app, and I wish I could afford the full version or any add ons. I have an app thats cheaper and does basically the same things, but it crashes alot. The only thing I wish this app had was more features in the free version. I dont think ill ever buy the full version. A little too expensive. For a free app though, definetly 5 stars for people who love to sing and want a proffessional sounding track.

What did you do to the microphone quality??. Built in microphone quality changed. Not as good. Needs to be corrected. Have to put input to max to hear yourself.

Disappointed. You need this app in order to make your microphones work BUT when you go to actually record, you get hit with in app purchase requirement. Why don't they either tell you that the app purchase is required UP FRONT or just add the additional cost to the microphone interface! Feel like I was deceived.

Not happy. I hot this app and bought a bunch of effects and a irig mic and low and be hold it won't work at all none of my effects work at all.... I'd like my money back of possible or at least fix it and make it easier to use or something...

Greedy. I have this on my iPad and they just released and iPad version of this app but iPad user have to pay another $20 for it on top of the $60 mic for the app.I will never buy another product from this greedy company again and will share my contempt with my fellow musician so they avoid you too. Great app.. Yes, it is an iPod app. So graphically, it's an iPod app. With an irig mic, it's genius and fun. Just know, only a few presets come free. I purchased all of the fx possibilities and again, it's genius.

Interesting.. This app is pretty cool. I guess there are some things that I am confused about. Like when u use your apple headphones( no normal mic so I'm not sure if it does the same thing) and u turn it on full volume there's this awful noise. But I have to say, this is still REALLY COOL!!!!!😏

Please improve !. I like the way this app works. It would be more useful to serious musicians if the reverb was not so noisy. Keeps this app from being taken serious.

Not easy. I am a tech integration specialist so technology comes easily to me. This app is not user friendly. I still haven't figured it out. Delete.

Limited. The free version has such limited functionality that it's not worth getting in less you're going to do a bunch of in app purchases. In the stuff there is just not user-friendly at all. Most of these, apps operate pretty intuitively. Not this one.

Horrible. If you are a Pro don't waste your money, is a very noisy application, I tested in my professional audio, with my Pro Tools, etc.. and even using the headphones sometime you feel the noise, like a motor running, is horrible. Better to use a Proffesional effect....

Has potential but needs work. When I got my iRig mic I downloaded this app, bought a few effects , and everything seemed to work. But the next time I opened the app none of my effects worked! Seems I'm not the only one having this problem either...

This update is broken.. New update is broken. Everytime I open the app, I have to ‘Restore In-App Purchases’ to get the features I had purchased before. Also, the mic cannot be monitored when playing tracks in the ‘Song’ area.

4 track recorder only a few days. I bought the extra tracks 2 times it lasted a few days then it was gone. Its asking me to buy the 4 tracks again. I have the receipts for them. I think something illegal is going on. Its a shame because I love the idea of this app.

No support for mic/phone devices. Had a mic/phone for Skype but I guess IK wants to sell their iRig as only the noisy internal mic is supported besides iRig. If I could tell whether Morph can deepen my voice to a nice bass I'd consider buying both, but there's no way to try, only to buy. Oh well, I spent 5 minutes and wasted no money. Fine.

No directions no way to erase recording. Pretty useless. Can't mix tracks without buying so its a fake out

Got one star because I can't give less. This app is literally garbage. It doesn't do anything as it's advertised for. It got me so mad that I actually wen out of my way to write a review. Spent my time trying to get it to work and it never did. Be wise and don't waste your or space downloading this crap.

The stupid thing. It won't even record nor play my song I just want an app that I can record me singing on!!!!

They screwed customers. Had app for 2 years, they release an update that kills ability to record multi tracks... Poor form to screw existing customers.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!. LISTEN EVERYONE!! With the new metronome and the "COPY" feature, you can import vocals DIRECTLY into GarageBand, and still keep the timing right!!! Thanks for the update! Note: you have to create a vocal track in GarageBand and then paste the copied vocalive track. This is good for people who don't want to buy expensive mics, and still maintain quality sound other than default Garageband vocal effects. Update: I had to take away a star because the new update crashes on iPod.

Why can't I email my recordings?. I want to be able to email my recordings to my friends and I DON'T have a Facebook.  My recordings are 4 minutes long or less, (I have a 3G IPod touch.) Is there any way I could email my recordings from this app?!?!?!? Can anybody help me???? THANKS!!!  ..••**•Ana•**••..

How do you keep from running in the background?. It took a long time to learn hot to keep the app from ruining in the background and there does not seem to be a way in the upgrade. I love the app though!!

Glad I'm using the free version. The app is really great, when it works. It seems every couple of days the app stops working and I have to delete it and re-download it. I've got +15 emails thanking me for registering the app because I keep having to go through everything to set it all back up again. Using and saving presets is pointless because I lose them everytime the app decides to stop working. Thankfully their other apps don't seem to be as problematic, but I'm glad I ended up purchasing an AmpLink+ instead of the iRig

Was great but.... Ever since I updated to iOS 7.1 this app can't record any new material! This was my saving grace after a long work day and I'm so upset I can't record anything else :/ PLEASE fix this issue ASAP

Plz fix. The microphone won't work all of a sudden on the app....... Plz fix I only can hear music it won't allow mic to work tho

IOS ISsue?. I would give this 5 stars if their was a Facebook share option and hope you change that soon..The app won't load since I updated IOS..

sound cloud issue. it's not letting me upload my songs to soundcloud... it's telling me that I'm not connected to a network but I am... wouldn't even allow me to set up my soundcloud acct...

I'm. Even after giving it more than a fair chance, by making an in-app purchase, I still have yet to see this app do things as advertised. I can't believe I got fooled into one of those cheaply made, quick buck making, apps. The only way they would get 5 stars from me is if they refunded my money promptly, which I would gladly due.

Cumbersome. Very hard to use, not user friendly.

Nice App!. I love this app! There should be more effects for the voice than just reverb, but for a singer/songwriter......it's nice.

it need to support Facebook sign in. most of soundcloud user i think they sign in FaceBook account, and me either. i want this app support Facebook sign in feature.
