Alright but one major flaw. The articles are not top tier, its very much a quantity over quality situaion. This is fine for me since I usually just pass time reading articles or checking scores. The major issue I have is with the video player. It has a bad habit of playing a video from a different feed and it will play at the same time as a video you are viewing. So you get to hear two videos at once. Has been happening for over 6 months. Ive been using BR since 2014 and this is starting to push me to something else. Why cant you just play the audio for the video im looking at, why is it always some random video playing from the twitter feed that I never clicked on playing in the background or simueltaneously. Id give 5 stars if it wasnt for this because it really is great for getting scores and highlights quick. Sadly highlights cant be listened to because of this video player bug

Functional, but confusing for PPV. First time buying an AEW ppv on this app, and the stream worked fine on my Apple TV - no issues there, and the stream was high quality. However, the UI could really use some work for finding PPVs and finding your library afterwards. It’s hidden under “My Events” in my profile, when really it should have a dedicated tab for streams/purchases. The ATV app seems a little more simplified in this regard at least, which is where it counts. Also an issue I ran into: I was logged into the app on my phone earlier in the day, before I bought the PPV. Then when I actually bought it, come to find out, I had been logged out at some point, so my purchase wasn’t associated with any BR account. Thought I threw out $50 because I couldn’t get it to play on the native ATV app when I was signed in, but luckily I found the link to “sign in to link my purchase” on the stream on my phone. It just made it kind of hassle to get it to show up on the ATV BR app, and I’m not sure the average person would have been able to figure it out. Might be a good idea to make that link or a restore purchases option more visible/obvious.

Buggy and poor filtering. With recent updates, the app tends to freeze up a lot, especially when trying to use the “back” button. I keep having to close the app and reopen to get back to the Home Screen. My other issue is one that has plagued the app as long as I have used it. Poor content filters. Example 1: there is an overall NFL thread. I choose a thread for a specific team to filter out other news, yet in that team thread there are still articles that have nothing to do with that team. Example 2: There is a WWE thread. There is an AEW thread. Both of those threads have bleed-over. I would like to see the lists of stories in specific threads kept on-topic without the irrelevant articles that seem to be cross posted just for click bait. That defeats the purpose of topic-specific filtering at its premise.

Notifications are weak. Please update the app to notify users when a game has started and ended. Also, update app with notifications for any and all scoring changes, which include notifications for when an inning/quarter/period ends along with scores. Notifications for starting lineups would also be great. If for some reason the app does offer these notification features then there needs to be an update to fix any bugs that are preventing me from receiving them. I have gone through the entire app to make sure I have all the notifications I want on but don’t receive anything related to what I’ve requested at the top. I bounce back and forth from Bleacher Report to The Score app because the latter does offer these notifications. The only thing is that those notifications come in unnecessary waves of useless info like podcasts alerts and stories that I don’t particularly care for.

App Doesn’t List Relevant Standings or Schedule. I know this is soccer so it isn’t big for Bleacher Report unless it is the Premier League but the standings are either not up to date or no longer even there. Example: Serie A, Champions League and Juventus among others. They used to be there but now that and schedules for national teams are not updated. This is not difficult to update especially since they were there. It seems it is intermittent depending on the week, meaning sometimes it is there, sometimes not, and sometimes it s the champions league schedule even if the team isn’t in the champions league, which makes the app even more difficult to navigate than it already is. Also the schedule for My Teams is skewed and it often doesn’t show up on the header and sometimes the schedules are not updated until after a match is played even on the team’s schedule page.

Good app, this would make it better/more convenient.. Great app. I love the articles. I would give a 5 star, if you had a way to see previously read articles or were able to favorite preciously read articles like the “News” app on iPhone. It makes it incredibly more convenient and easier to share articles or refer back to an article when needed. I’ve given up on multiple occasions when trying to find an article I’m referencing when talking to friends or family or when I’m trying to see if someone’s responded to my comment. Locating a previously read article is so difficult, I’ve been unsuccessful with finding some articles even after going to bleacher report after a few minutes, notably if the article is under the “Fire” category. Usually, I have to do a google search of the terms I remember + bleacher report just to pull up a previously read article. This issue should not be an issue in this day and age.

This app is racist. EVERY DAY people in the comments talk about how people with black skin are the “best race” and “superior to whites” and when you report it -NOTHING. Yet, when you respond and say “we are all equal, our skin color should not matter” they delete others and your comments. It’s sad to see clear racism not only being allowed but being supported on a SPORTS app. They are censoring anyone who stands up to the black culture which constantly (for years) torments other cultures for not sharing the color of their skin. I am not saying this is every comment section or person but, I see it almost every day and after long enough, I just have to say “no more”. I feel bullied and hated by a small but loud minority of users on the app that have ZERO moderation due to the color of their skin. I will never use bleacher report again but, I hope they start to moderate the extremists of the app no matter what their background or agenda is.

Overwhelming. Don’t download unless you want to see/read a overwhelming number of Lebron James stories. They will pop up in every sport everyday. There are multiple articles about him regardless of what you follow. If he posted he was “walking to his car” there would be multiple articles about that post no matter what sport or team you follow. Also now that can be said about Deion Sanders and Colorado. There are dozens of articles written throughout the week about Deion/Colorado/his sons. Bleacher report could save a lot of money by cutting half the staff since 50% of stories are on those 2 even if you don’t follow them or their teams. By cutting half the staff with the money saved they can invest in making the app about the followers and what they want and not about Lebron and Deion. Use the money wisely or change your name to the “Lebron and Deion reports” so people know what they are actually downloading.

Great if you want to read ads. This app is littered with pop up ads. Every time I click on (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) an article to read I am either interrupted or prompted to pay for a subscribed (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) service. While the app in principle covers many (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) sports and allows you to follow your favorite (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) teams, even setting priorities for your news feed, you’re better off just (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) reading the headlines and checking scores, both of which can (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) be found in an sport-official app such as MLB app and others. App also links a lot of content (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad) to Twitter, and if I wanted to use Twitter I’d just (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad is this annoying yet? Yeah I bet. And so is the app when it does it get the picture?) reactivate my Twitter account and participate that way. At least Twitter has (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad and you thought I was done) an ad blocker. In other words, for complete stories use other apps otherwise risk being (this review is being interrupted by a simulated pop up ad)...

App crashes in 5 seconds, used be decent. I’ve been using this app for over 2 years, and it’s definitely one of my favorites. However, this app has been terrible as of late. First of all, I got banned for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON at over 200 followers. I literally never commented anything remotely bad or against TOS, but I got banned with no notice or reason. I tried contacting customer service, but they never responded. So, slightly discouraged, I created a new account. I grew this account to over 500 followers, and BAM, out of nowhere I’m banned again. Once more, I never commented anything that could be even close to something I could be banned for. I’m not sure what the deal is, but getting banned for no reason, and given no explanation is just dumb. So, after getting banned twice, I created an account again, but I only use it for viewing, I never comment anything. Its been a month, but haven’t been banned yet. But the thing that prompted me to write this review wasn’t that. Ever since I got the iPhone 12 (the app did occasionally crash on my old iPhone, it was manageable) THE APP LITERALLY CRASHING 5 SECONDS AFTER OPENING EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’m about to delete the app since it is unusable, and incredibly frustrating. I would really love you be able to use the app, but I simply can’t. If this was a small bug on the new phones, it would have already been fixed by now. What is the deal BR?

Leaves a lot to be desired. I am a BR user and have been for years, but the platform has so many flaws that bring down the quality. There are some small bugs, for example the app has listed the same bruins players as injured for every game this season, but usually the app runs well and does what it’s supposed to. My main issue comes with the content. Not only are there so many articles that are behind paywalls, but BR refuses to give relevant news to what I ask for. I have no interest in baseball, soccer, or many college sports but bleacher report forces this stuff into my main feed, often as the top articles. I have seen a multitude of headline articles that are entirely based on one athlete’s tweet that has little meaning. There are frequent misleading and clickbait titles. There is frequent drawing conclusions with almost no evidence. All in all bleacher report does not demand much quality from its content, it settles for quantity instead. I wish I could find a better sports app because this one leaves a lot to be desired.

BR app is apart of my daily social media line up. This app lets you pick your favorite teams and access articles and news on them through a easy to understand user interface. I also love how you can turn off notifications for each individual sport so when basketball is in the off-season I turn off notifications while I pay attention to football. Also it has an active, yet sometimes rowdy, user base to there are tons of ways to connect with fellow fans and see what people think after games or breaking news. One criticism however: can we please go back to showing season stats for players for the upcoming game match ups? I don’t care what the stats for the last game were and often it doesn’t impact the current game all too much. Wanna see season stats.

Video content is not managed correctly. I love the content that I get from this app. To be able to personalize and get the sports news I actually want to read is great. I’ve been using bleacher report for forever. It’s only become worse with the constant video barrage. Most of the time you start a video, there’s another video that’ll start playing in the background and you can’t close it, so you’re forced to close the app. I would love to be able to read and not have to watch some random persons video telling me his opinion on a subject. Should of just kept it simple and aggregated news based on people’s preferences instead of adding all this video content nobody wants to watch.

Easily the best for up to date sports news and highlights. This app is a total upgrade from the ESPN app where it is hard to get to an article you are looking for, this has all the up to date sports info before every other app like ESPN and CBS Sports. This app also gives you easy access to highlights or cool plays of any sport, on the other apps you have to search and search and sometimes it not even there like you want it to be. You can also discuss opinions with the other users and it's nice when you want to say something about what just happened and you have no one else to tell so you turn to Bleacher Report. This app is a very good and well maintained app and deserves five stars

A glitchy app full of trolls and pathetic people. Bleacher Report is not a bad concept, its execution is awful though. Articles about specific players are always emphasized to get a negative reaction & titles are often click bait titles with no substance to encourage reactions and viewership. Player's like OBJ, Cam Newton, Lamar Jackson, e.t.c are often promoted in a controversial light as BR knows many middle aged white men in America will spew hateful rhetoric at literally any article about them. Seriously, they could post an article about them donating a million to charity and it would be filled with hateful comments. That’s how many pathetic trolls exist on this site. I have always felt that average sports fan has a slightly below average IQ, BR seeks to confirm that theory every time I step on the app. Pay the little bit extra for the Athletic, its 1000% worth it if you don’t want to develop cancer reading stupid and ignorant opinions.

Spread Love. I love this app but I have an issue with something here. I love sports and I love the creativity with the stories. But one thing i do not like is negative comments. There are parts of the app where the story is there and you can see two comments instead of saying view comments. Usually those comments are racist or somebody talking bad about something. I think the comments section needs to be hidden and if people want to see more they will press view comments. Some have that some don’t. There should also be an option in the settings to not have comments. I just want to read sports. I’m not interested in someone’s opinion that’s a completely negative comment. Click on any comment section all you see is negative, hatred .. if you guys are trying to help then give us options to not see that.

Awesome app. This app is generally very good. Unpopular opinion: the stories are great! It’s not your everyday sports app, while it can give you the final score to the games, it also gives you more lighthearted and funny stories that the MLB and NFL for example, don’t give you. I understand why some people don’t like to get stories based on the jokes and stuff that goes on within the professional sports leagues, but I think it’s great, knowing that you can also get your basic sports news here and from many other apps. If you want a new look on your favorite sports teams, look no further than bleacher report.

No longer curates valuable content. Long time user. Content curation for a given team has changed drastically for the worse. All I see are videos of highlights from a recent game, post-game interviews, gifs, and images. What happened to curated articles from various outlets and sources? For example, for NYR you used to include in the team feed timely relevant articles from different sites like Blueshirt Banter, Forever Blueshirts, NY Post (Larry Brooks, Molly Walker, and the likes), LoHud, the Athletic, Blueline Station, Blue Seat Blogs. The only articles now appear to be your own. Feeds now look like a gimmicky instagram feed offering minimal insights or value, begging for cheap likes and comments from your users (versus the users of the sources you’re pulling content from). The more I frequent the site or app, the less I’m inclined to return. The new design / algo clearly caters to and enables mindlessly doom-scrolling through click-baity imagery and videos, and no longer provides valuable curated insights into a team via writers’ analyses of recent games, events, trades, etc. for those who still read. To say b/r has gone downhill would be an understatement. Don’t mean to roast or bash. Hopefully some constructive feedback. I rarely, almost never send feedback to apps, but it’s been so bad lately I felt compelled to.

Blocked for No reason, No customer representatives. I have been using this app for about 5 years. I don’t know why but I’ve been blocked and cannot comment or interact with users and sports dialogue. I have no idea why. I’ve tried to reach out to a BR representative but I don’t think they exist. I’ve called 3 different office numbers and no one picks up the phone. I’ve tried calling these three numbers on 5 different occasions and I get a machine that tells me “Welcome to Bleacher Report, no one is available” then hangs up on me. I have emailed support 3 times. No one has replied. I even have emailed support about deleting my account. No reply. The app wasn’t even that great. The articles are mostly click bait and there’s very little well written content on here but there is some. I wish there was a better app but I’ve yet to find one. It’s such a let down. I can’t believe we live in 2021 and this is the best sports app available.

It’s alright. I’ll start off by saying when I try to read articles not written by Bleacher report the fully loaded page turns white making it literally impossible to read. Kind of annoying and it’s only when it’s non bleacher report articles. iPhone Xs The rest is about Bleacher report itself. Annoyed of the constant click baiting when I just want good sports knowledge. Constant errors in the writing, it doesn’t seem like they have an editor. Sometimes it’s really minor stuff like a misspelled word. Most writing programs have a spell check feature so it’s really bothersome that the writer couldn’t click a few extra buttons to make the article better but I think it’s actually representative of the writing in general. I don’t think much time or care is taken with the assignments. I definitely think they are more interested in getting you to click something rather than making sure whatever they write is worth clicking. I am slowly and slowly finding myself just going to google and searching for writers who I know took time to write rather than go on the app and that’s kinda sad cause this app is really what got me into sports as much as I am. I understand you got to keep the lights on but I just want to be entertained or interested not bored or mad.

Good but disappointing. I used to love going on bleacher report for updates but recently I have been disabled to comment and view comments for the SECOND time in less than a month. I have not broke any rules as I always make sure to adhere to the community guidelines provided upon joining a community or the app itself. On both occasions, there was no indication/warning of the situation as I simply logged on one day and am now unable to do anything. Supper frustrating as I always tried to contact via email (no response) and with the phone number provided (no response after being on hold for 45 minutes). I’m now super turned off and consider dumping the app as a whole. The whole app is being taken over by kids. Ridiculous

Warrantless shadow bans are fun. My account got banned without warning. The only thing that would even lead me to know this is that I can no longer comment on anything. When I try to comment, I get an error message that doesn’t say anything about being banned. It even says “try again later” which is obviously a lie if I’m banned. I emailed support and they re-instated my account, but I was still never told how or why I was banned. I never comment anything ban-worthy. I stick to my own team’s community and generally just comment occasionally. The only thing I can think of is if I was in a debate with someone about the team and they just reported me for no reason and I was banned with no oversight from an actual human. Just an algorithm that says “he was reported, ban his account.” Ridiculous. But don’t worry, I won’t be commenting much anymore because for some reason the app attributes your actual name (not your user name) to the comments. B/R is trying to turn into a social media platform instead of just being the sports app that it is...

Almost there. I really have a few small complaint. I wish you could filter score for sports better. Like why does BR get to decide what’s a top game? Why can’t I decide for myself. No offense to some of these other sports but I simply don’t care. For example, If I like soccer and only follow teams in that sport… why would I care about a midseason pirates match or random golf matchup or a midseason WNBA game and much less consider it a “top game.” Especially when there are powerhouse international teams playing each other? Again no offense, I’m just not a fan and so aren’t the majority of people on this earth. Just let us personally filter which sports/leagues can be top games, I mean after all it’s a personalized feed. Idc that the articles are often mediocre bc I have the option to not read them. But I feel like it’s such a small fix and after years they haven’t thought about such solution.

A must for getting the info first. While you may think this is a bs paid review it’s not. I’ve been a fantasy football commissioner for 6 years and been in a league for 12. This is by far the best app I’ve downloaded for football info. I run my league on espn but they always seem to be a step behind. I get notified by this app long before espn posts injuries and any other things to effect my team. If you want to be up on what’s going on before everyone else this is the app you need. I can’t promise you a championship but this app gives you the info to help make better decisions. Oh yeah and it’s free so if you don’t like it after 2 weeks delete it but I would bet you probably won’t.

Customer services succeeds only in being worse than Comcast. I want to be fair here. I’ve used this app for many many years. I enjoy their articles and I enjoy their PPVs. Occasionally the PPVs can be a little glitchy, but nothing being live streamed at that level is without blemish. My issue is entirely with their customer service. I have an issue with my account, and I reached out to them. First, I tried email. It took them a long time to get back to me, and when they did the response was so off base it was as if they didn’t read the email I sent them. Then, I tried live chat. I spent an hour in live chat with someone who’s name I won’t share here, and they told me nothing other than “please wait a moment”. They kept telling me to wait when I’d ask for an update. They were so unresponsive, the chat actually disconnected because it took them so long to get back to me. Then I tried calling, which I knew was a bit of a long shot, but after a significant amount of time on hold, I had to hang up. For the record, this is a shame because I actually really want to keep using their products and services, but the issue is such that I may not be able to. I really just want their help to make sure that I can continue to give them money, but at this point I’m unsure of the realities of that. This could be a really easy fix too, but I’m getting absolutely no where with their customer service.

Notifications bugs. This app is really great when first using it. However after sometimes you don’t receive any alerts for the teams you have alerts for. So what’s the point of the app if I’m not receiving notifications for my sports. Yes I do have bleacher report enabled in my settings for notifications and also in app as well. And I haven’t been able to get a notification for months. When the app was working, everything worked well and it was better than ESPN which I deleted for bleacher report. Also, bleacher report would be quicker to give alerts than ESPN as well.

Pure crap. Useless app and webpage. So many pop ups and ads you spend most of your time waiting for loading. If I could rate it minus stars it would be a -10. But the only way to warn you is to give it 1 I was contacted by the app developers to find out exactly why I rated this app a -100. All you have to do is try to bring up the web page. The developers try to funnel you into using the bleacher app so they can bombard you with advertisement. The sports news is a forgotten thought. The web page takes an hour to load and then only 2 articles with only a picture and a caption load. My recommendation is these developers are more suited for selling hot dogs from a cart or shoes. Update: It has been months since i posted a review with a very negative slant on the developers of this site. They continue to fail big time. The knickswall is a real sports app. They are more interested in sports stories than selling merchandise. dump this dopes

Negative star rating please. To get into the confusing details, I will say my day and night has been full of frustration. I bought an AEW ppv 2 days early might I add through bleacher report app in order to be "ready" ahead of time. To my dismay, even after activating my Xbox one for like the 20th time for Bleacher Report, I cannot access the AEW ppv I had purchased. So I get on the app on my iPhone and go to view purchases and it says no purchases stored. I literally have the screenshot of my Apple ID and receipt for my purchase and whatever is wrong with their system has to be happening to people other than me. Their customer service is legitimately almost Non Reachable. Emails take forever to get responded too. Live chat doesn't even exist because it disconnects you. And when I did get through to customer service on phone he tells me to email them! I said I have 4 times! Second time I told him this he must not understand or has a bad connection. So I start reading the reference number emailed back to me about the issue I sent screenshots of and also my receipt and he can't hear the final numbers and the line cuts off. Are you kidding me? I will never buy anything through this crap company again. STAY AWAY!

App that had so much potential. The idea behind the app is top notch. It had the potential to be the best sports app out there. Between the political stances and narratives they push, shutting off comments when they want to control the narrative, the weird obsession they have of posting literally anything lebron does even if it’s not even sports related (I got an alert under “nba news” that he wore a certain shoe out of his house), alerts classified under major sports news that aren’t news (You will get alerts for bat flips classified under mlb news or highlights), most of the articles their writers put out are terrible and make no sense (it reads like they did 2 google searches and then wrote an article with strong viewpoints about what a team should do. Most fans of those teams know more than the writers of their articles), and the countless nonsensical articles about trade ideas or speculation articles, the app is ruined. It needs new leadership. The community idea where you can have public forum discussions with fans of the same team is great. The way they have the news sections broken up where you can select your team and it takes you to a page where it gathers news articles from all over about your teams (including the teams beat writers) is fantastic. Literally those are the only 2 reasons I have this app. Everything else is terrible. Great idea, atrocious execution by people that are out of touch. Like I said, needs new leadership and a remodel from the top down

My favorite sports app, but…. This is my go to sports app for quick sports updates. In my opinion, it is (almost) superior to all others. It’s quick, fast, and gives me just about everything I want. My only drawback, for me it’s a big one, is that there are no “in-game” updates like from ESPN or TheScore. I still use these apps because I get in depth notifications of a TD alert, run scored alert, hockey goal or beginning of power play alert, each quarter-end updates, etc. If B/R adds this like these other apps have, then in my opinion they will have to best sports app on the AppStore. And I would have to use any other apps for anything. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for now, but it’s game over if they add those in-game notifications.

If you want an app that crashes every single use, this is it. This app crashes literally every single time I use it. I’ve enjoyed using this app regularly over the years but due to the app’s extreme limitations I can’t really use it anymore. No other app of any kind that I use crashes even 5% as much. I deleted and redownloaded the app today and within 3 minutes of using the app it crashed again. Is anyone at BR in the business of actually making this a functional app? I get first level workers/programmers not caring at all. Does anyone at any level want this to be a decent, not even good - just decent - product? I’m using the most updated version of iOS 15 and I figured by this point most of the issues between the app and os would have been worked out by now. It’s a disappointing because I enjoyed using the app previously.

Not Articles Open. I love using the Bleacher Report for all my sports needs, however lately certain articles will not open. Currently the two I have trouble with is LA Times and The Athletic. What is annoying is that I see the article on Bleacher Report and I get excited to read it and then find that it won’t open unless I subscribe to that company and pay a fee. Why do I need Bleacher Report if I can’t open the articles and I have to sign up for other company articles to read anything? I would just as well prefer that those articles were not there or if they were better identified as articles you need memberships for to read. Then I wouldn’t get excited about articles I am not allowed to read.

Bad writing for WWE page. Bleacher Report is a good source, overall. My biggest criticism is how awful the writers are for the WWE page. They constantly knock the product by writing negative articles. Throughout their recaps of shows and events, they make overly biased, condescending comments about what transpired, as if they could have done better if they had wrote the show. Do they even like wrestling? Do they understand how wrestling works? It would be nice to read about what happened on Raw or Smackdown without having to read several amateur snipes about the product, which only makes them seem bitter and pretentious. I don’t even bother reading any of their articles anymore about “So and So must do “X” to stay relevant”. Again, bitter and pretentious writing. I hope Bleacher Report recognizes their WWE writers’s incompetence and puts an end to it.

BR Must Improve. I once went to Bleacher Report numerous times each day to check in on what was going on with the teams I follow. Over the last couple of years, I have been on the site just a handful of times. There are better apps out there and BR has gotten stale. The main reason I used BR was to converse with other fans, but that gets old, as fewer people with interesting things to say, drop out, or just repeat the same things over and over again. Some people also act like they are in charge, or a group of people become entrenched and belittle the “individuals” who disagree with the main group. As I said also, there are better, more interesting sites to go to that have been created and more opening up that are much more attuned to sports in general. BR had its day and at one time, was fun to spend time on. Thank you for being a pioneer in that regard.

Horrible update. I used to love this app. I recommended it to all my friends. It was comprehensive, concise, intuitive, and most of all; the information I needed and wanted was right at my fingertips. In a recent update, that all changed. They changed the bar across the top of the home page that used to show my team’s current and upcoming games. Now it shows current games and a bunch of completely irrelevant games from sports I didn’t even tell the app I liked! To find my team’s upcoming games, I have to dig around in scores, which is inconvenient and unnecessary. I also used to be able to tap on a game to see where it would be broadcast. Can no longer do that. Again, have to find that in the scores, extra searching, and it’s no longer customized for my local market so I still don’t know where I can find the game. (I’m in Ohio, when the Cavs are playing OKC, it’s no help to tell me they’re on FS OKC, are they on FSO?) My homepage feed no longer seems to be customized to my preferences. Frankly, I’m just waiting to find a replacement app and then I’ll dump this one.

Awesome - With One Flaw. Everything a sports app needs to be. I switched to Bleacher Report years ago and have used no other sports app since. But… Months ago I reported an issue that popped up and the developers still have done nothing about it: please fix the messed up, moving column headings in the game stats while using the app in landscape mode on an iPad. When it comes to both the developer response and using the app on an iPad I frequently use with a keyboard in landscape mode, it is incredibly frustrating and something that needs to be fixed. If not for the unresolved column heading issue, this would be a 5-star app for sure.

Missing the mark. One of the best parts of this app was the live Twitter feed on each of the pages you followed. For as long as I’ve had the app I was able to see up to the minute news and notes from beat reporters on the teams I follow and now they’ve removed the Twitter feed from their app. For someone like myself who doesn’t have Twitter, the integration was such a great value add to the app. Very poor adjustment from the BR team and highly upsetting. Now it’s essentially an elementary version of ESPN’s app. Very disappointing that they removed their one valuable feature from their platform. Also the articles are very poorly written and clearly biased, I was able to look past that for the most part but now that it is all they have to offer, I might be moving on. Please bring back the Twitter feed.

Almost completely unusable. This used to be by far the best app for sports. Now the app is almost completely unusable. The first reason is when I’m reading articles they jump randomly when the ads load in. And this happen about 30 times while I’m trying to read something so I have to find and refind my spot in the article constantly. The second reason the app is becoming unusable is that some video ads will randomly go full screen while I’m reading the article so I have to close the ads the find my spot in the article again. The last reason is their still isn’t dark mode! The entire app is white and I keep my brightness almost completely down but it’s still extremely bright when I’m at the app at night. So just add dark mode. Also if the problem with the articles jumping isn’t fixed soon I’m deleting the app I just can’t deal with that anymore. And if the video ads going full screen doesn’t stop too I’m also deleting the app it’s just way too annoying. Update March 31: I’m done with this app. There are now ads in the twitter feeds. I’m officially deleting this terrible app. Bleacher Report literally only cares about money and no longer cares about the quality of their app so I will no longer support them. I am deleting the app. So great job Bleacher Report you just lost one of your longest term users.

Decent not great. This app is a good app. It will get you the information you want and then a whole lot more that doesn’t matter. They post article links that take you to paywalls on other sites regularly, they have their own writers who write click bait articles with no merit, the notifications no longer give preview pics/videos and on top it there’s a 50/50 chance that your page will encounter an error loading at any given time. I’ve had this app since the early 2010’s and watched it rise into a sports fan’s dream, only to sell out. They love to add features while not improving the app at all ie We don’t need your “experts” live-streaming about a topic they know as much about as the fans when we could have fast load times and well thought out articles. (I have great wifi and an updated phone)

Garbage. Let me first say I love the content of this app.. The articles are great and informative. The functionality however is trash. I can only speak for the iPhone app because that’s all I’ve used. First the app automatically refresh’s the page in the middle of reading over and over again making it extremely frustrating, annoying, and almost impossible to read. At first I thought this was just a glitch and would be fixed after a while. That was last year and it’s still happening… They must make more 🏦💰💵 for hits on sights. Second, the amount of pop up adds is ridiculous. I understand it’s a free app and you gotta make money somehow but again it makes it very hard to read and enjoy. This has gotten a little better but is still annoying. I’m not trying to bash this app I have no agenda. I just feel it needs some tweaking and I would give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Solid. Bleacher Report is a fun app for keeping up to date on sports news from your favorite teams and from around the sphere of the sports world in general. The layout is sleek and well polished. I really enjoy the Perfect Picks feature. If you get all of your picks correct, you are entered into a drawing with other winners for a gift card or prize, which is very cool! The only downside of the app is the comment sections under every article are heavily moderated. This hinders the free flow of discussion, thoughts and certain opinions. While I agree that certain things shouldn’t be tolerated such as promotion of violence, you also shouldn’t be able to remove comments that you disagree with or find personally offensive. Some comment sections are even shut off. This is a bad look!

Family man. Yeah sometimes it’s about impossible to get a hold of anybody with family in the middle and then a bunch of fake Internet when I say fake just miss communications and nowhere to reach out and talk to people with a bad platform your reviews will be pretty cluttered up I miss typed and misspelled it now I was taking over your phone and you’re running out of time because you feel like you’re getting stepped on all the time and maybe you would understand I got a couple of formulas for a platform Siri close enough power to destroy world but not created by me created by developers of marketers on a bad platform that’s who did that I just wanted my money back I’m not angry about nothing I’m not bad I’m a good guy maybe things have missed typed misspelled due to the nature how I don’t knowWhat I’m doing I just started using a phone or a computer to do business 10 years ago like phone calls

Does the job but has some annoying things. I get majority of my sports related updates from this app but one of my biggest gripes is when I navigate the community. As I scroll down, the live updates will automatically put me at the newest posts instead of allowing me to keep going through older ones. Same happens with scrolling the live updates on the community’s main page. Just keep it stationary or don’t do the updates unless the user actively requests it by dragging down at the top of the page. The other thing is that the content could be even more customizable. I don’t want to see WWE posts or golf posts. Don’t have a way to disable this though. Other than that, it’s got the content I need.

Buggy app, terrible content. The Bleacher Report of days gone by is gone. The app has always had performance issues with the screen turning black while reading an article and random crashes. Now I can’t even open the app without it crashing. Before that happened, articles were constantly reloading. It’s totally unusable. I suppose that’s okay though. It’s helping me finally acknowledge that BR is no longer worth using. They curated a lot of articles from other sources, but now it’s mostly just tweets and their own crappy re-drafts and poorly written articles. The app has also turned into left-wing reporting that is tangentially related to sports. A feature article on the Atlanta Hawks that is actually just about Rayshard Brooks? An interview with JJ Redick on how Lebron and KD haters are racists? Absolutely no coverage of DeShaun Jackson’s anti-Semitism? Apparently BR is now just a bunch of far leftists who think we are more interested in their agenda than actual sports and who can’t even make a functioning app.

Lots of bugs. I’ve used BR for many years, and I’ve always been impressed by how consistently buggy this app is. It’s as though the company refuses to hire enough developers to actually put out a fully functional app. The latest bug for the last few months is that the entire app freezes while scrolling through your feed, and then locks up iOS, forcing the user to turn off their phone to unfreeze, great experience! I feel like a huge source of the buggy ness is poor/inconsistent advertising integration, the ads always seem to be onscreen when I have crashes of the app. Also, stop integrating tweets or links to other websites that are not functional, if I am going to take the time to click on something, I don’t want to go to a broken page.

BR used to be the place to get news on our favorite teams.. BR has stopped providing news stories on college basketball teams. Tried to contact them several times to only be told the issue is resolved. We follow Indiana University Basketball and there has not been any news provided since the Purdue game two weeks ago. I have confirmed others in the IU community are seeing the same issues. BR will not acknowledge there is a problem and will not fix the issue. BR is no longer a reliable source for anyones favorite teams. It has been over a month and there no stories in the Indiana feed. I am getting NBA other CBB news in the IU feed. Why BR has decided to stop providing the news we want is absolutely crazy. Why would I want to see news on everything but my teams. It is time to delete the app and try to find my news somewhere else.

Great app but missing one thing. I’ve had bleacher report since it was on the old app and it was called Team Stream and I love it and use it everyday for my sports news. However, I have one thing I wish you guys would add. On the Scores page either under each matchup, or as part of the Game Info section under its preview could you please put what channel the game is being covered on? There are lots of games that I want to watch but am not sure where they are playing on tv and have to look it up somewhere else. Like the Copa America final today for example, it was on telemundo and I spent the first five minutes of the match looking for it online and on my guide. If you could add that this app would be perfect! Thanks!

Articles won’t fully load. I have been using BR for a few years now, and I have been thankful to be able to follow my favorite teams easily on one app. Lately, I have been having struggles getting articles to load, especially the longer articles with multiple X links in them. I’ll start reading them, get a few sections in, then the screen will completely black out. I’ve started avoiding most of the major highlight articles since I know I won’t be able to make it all of the way through them. I’ve tried waiting a few minutes to give the article time to load all of the X links, but the links do not load in until I scroll to them. This causes the article to jump around for a bit, then, after I find my place again, it will shift to the black screen. It wasn’t like that in the beginning. Please fix

If you love sports, download bleacher report. I use this app ALOT, whether it be to read up on new stories or check in on analysis or predictions or check scores. The only thing I’d love if they added was to be able to edit your comment. I comment a lot on stories and articles so I engage in the comment section a lot. I’ve seen everyone including myself make a spelling mistake. It would be cool if you guys added the option to edit your comments and maybe showing that the comment was edited. I can see people fixing their comment and going back on something they said so showing like a transcript history would be beneficial. Just a regular sports guy !. Let’s just start with a thank you to the guys and girls that make this app run! This is by far the best sports app there is. I have espn+ no hate or shame for them but you guys with the alerts and breaking news are just ten times faster, which is one of the main reasons I love this app. As of many of the things this app brings to the table. I love how you chose what you want to see by selecting the categories your interested in, not just any old team that I don’t care about! I also love how diverse it is with the gaming sections to the golf sections there’s just so much good content here, so with that I say thanks again guys and girls at BR!!

Old stories. Please get rid of stories eg khahib has pace from the app . These stories are 6 to 9 months old

The good and the bad. I've really loved using this app and have gotten all my friends onto it, it is really easy to open it up and see all the news and info on my favorite teams, there is always so much news I can read and I love that... However the only flaw with the app is when I'm reading a news article that covers more than one page, it regularly jumps back a page and the link to move to the next page disappears, which is frustrating because then I have to reload the story just to continue from where I was up to. Overall I really enjoy using this app and hopefully this flaw is removed with the next update.

Amazingly Helpful with keeping in touch. Use it everyday! One annoying thing is sometimes loading times on the app are strange where one screen is instant and the next takes minutes to load. If this was fixed I would use this app even more than I already do! 😊

NBA news feed issues. I love the app it’s great to use. My issue is that nba games that have just been played are deleted from the top of the feed and replaced by games that are to be played. Take today’s playoff game between the cavs and Celtics, it ended and then the game was taken off and replaced by the next game to be played today, so now all I have is highlights and news stories but I cannot view the stats from the cavs vs Celtic game. I like the old format of showing played games and previewing the next games.

The good and bad!. Groups what you want to see quite well, yet it is easy to tell that it is made in the USA. App is very bias and frustrating. If the team you follow has/had a player from the United States you will have to deal with links for a very long time even if they are not relative anymore. Incredibly frustrating! Does have a wealth of resources. Good and bad, trash and insight!

Dated content not updating. There is content in the news feed that has remained on the feed as “top news” for going on 33 weeks now.

Rotation fail. Go to schedule and the ad covers most of it. Turn off ad. Blank screen. Rotate phone. Nothing happens. Rubbish app.

Slow like hell. This app reminds me of browsing internet in the 90’s... slow like hell... not a very good user experience...

Buggy and slow. I use this app more than I use social media apps but now it has become very slow

Make video auto play an option.. This is seriously the only thing that ruins a perfectly fine app. Please add in an option to turn off auto-playing of videos. It's completely unnecessary to have this function and it's more annoying than not. I want to listen to my music and read the news without some video starting to play. And it's not like it's just a press of a button to get back to my music, I have to switch app to the music one, play, switch back - iPhone's Control Centre being utterly useless. Uses up data and simply annoying.

Great app, poor journalism.. Whilst I love how this app keeps you up to date with push notifications, if you dare go into read the articles prepare to read pieces put together by illiterate 7 year olds. I mean I understand we are sports fans but grade 6 English grammar would tell you that starting a sentence with a conjunction is poor form. If only they could fix their Reuters to some place that follows preliminary English protocol... This app would wail!

Too much old content. Love the app. Lots of articles to read etc. However, the continuing content of year old featured articles or trending is tiresome. There has to be an option to hide or delete old or irrelevant content. Please fix this or give us an option in the app.

Long time user. I have used this app since 2014, and I loved it! Although I feel that it has deteriorated, I don’t mind the amount of ads and everything, but the NBA sections at least used to have bulletpoints of the top 5-10 headlines of the day, I’m just wondering why it was removed as this was an awesome feature of the app. Update: clearly BR doesn’t read the reviews, they have also now taken out the twitter stream feature, the app has become so messy and disjointed, they are prioritising the social media aspect of it, funny captions and events etc. over actual news, I miss so much important NBA news because it gets lost in the endless BS.

Plays no longer visible. This app is going down the toilet fast, used to be sooo much better and I was a big fan…now it is full of opinion videos from poorly educated “experts” that are boring and frustrating to listen to…today joker hit a game winner and all that is reported in the app is bloggers or YouTubers talking crap…where is the play? where is the shot? Really need to get back to your roots…very poor

Love the app, but needs a cleanup.. I absolutely love the app, easily can spend an hour every day; but I’m getting completely fed up seeing the same ‘featured’ news from almost 10 months ago, or ‘UK Trending’ showing the same article from 4 months ago. Please please give us an option to hide articles if you won’t remove them in a timely matter.

Use this app 5 times a day at least!. Great app! A couple of suggestions though, is it possible to show which articles are read and unread, much like your email inbox? And also, the order of the articles is hard to follow, I think it would be better if they were in chronological order! Cheers fantastic app!!!

Amazing!. Updates with everything I need! Super fast and up to date!

Weird home page updates. Great app for fun coverage across a lot of sports, integration with Twitter videos etc. is great. But for some reason continues to show updates from months ago on the home page, for example the third item on my feed is UK trending from 24 weeks ago...?

Scores slower to updated. The scores during NBA games since the last update have been updating far slower than previously. Sometimes the Twitter feed is even updating before the score is.

League. Rugby league never updates even in the middle of the season

Predictions. It’s hard to find the epl predictions

Recent update made app very slow. This was probably my most used app until a recent update has made the app extremely buggy and slow. Scrolling freezes and crashes the app constantly.

Trash. Ever since the last update this app has crashed. I can’t even get into it past the B.R when u open the app 🤬🤬🤬 Oh well, guess i will be using ESPN instead for sports updates from now on.

Beat Sports News App. By the best on iTunes when it scores to good quality sports news and articles . Always has the latest need and scores . Good journalism that doesn’t require or rely on sensationalism to sell its story. Highly recommend for any serious sports fans , no matter your sport!

Remove Pop-ups. I’ve relied on BR for many years for my EPL updates but recently, messages about accepting the use of cookies have popped up frequently. Sometimes, you just can’t acknowledge them and have to close the article because the pop-up covers the whole page. You end up missing out on half the articles on this app so I’ve decided to move on to another EPL news app without these annoying pop-ups.

Color Change is awful. Black and white was the signature of this app. Made it feel cool. The blue? Purple? Whatever it is looks like a devs first JavaScript assignment. Change it back

Comments issue. It’s a really good app to follow nfl nba and mlb not so much for nhl but you’re getting better on that. Though not able to post comment so I’m missing out on one of the best part of the comment “There was a problem posting your comment. Please try again later.” What’s up with that ? On an IPhone 11 iOS 13.7, would deserve 5 stars.

AdReport. They should call this AdReport. As soon as you watch a 5 second clip, a 15 second ad video immediately plays so you can't even rewatch the fast clips a few times without watching minutes worth of ads... I don't even open this app up anymore because I spend more time watching ads than seeing sports.

Try and keep up BR. Downloaded the app September 2020, picked my teams, one of which are the Dodgers and got everything set up. Went to the home page and they were pushing a story about the Astros “crushing” it from two years ago. We all know why now. App deleted immediately.

It’s ok. Honestly, I installed this app because I’d browse Bleacher report on my Browser and was interested to see the comments. The user base is complete trash.

Good app, but also bad. Good concept, but horrible navigation and UI. The search bar is awful, as it lets you search for nothing. Comments are in weird places, and the overall navigation of the app feels off.

Sports app.. It would be great if BR would stop with the politics. It’s extremely annoying trying to catch up on my sports stats and highlights and all I can find is BLM this and BLM that. Who’s even arguing that black lives matter? Literally nobody is. The BLM group is a joke, they’re basically communists and yet BR gives them more rub and tugs than any other app save CNN. You need to get back to being a place for people to watch and discuss sports. If I wanted to talk or read politics I wouldn’t be on a sports app.

Good app, sometimes crashes. After last update sometimes app crashes when looking thru the scores, however overall great for all my sports needs!

Turns off music. What kind of garbage app just turns off your music when you open it. Seems like an easy fix but apparently they have lazy workers I dunno.

Trash. This app became overly political, with only one point of view. I was only interested in soccer news, so I only selected my soccer teams and leagues for the feed. Yet 90% of my feed was basketball news under the “trending” icon which is not a choice you can opt out of. I’ve since deleted the app. But it used to be good.

Hack Central. Nothing more than a clickbait shop filled with hack reporters, hack fan pages, and propaganda manufacturing LeBron James’ fake “greatness.” Also, they are laser focused on playing their part in division and splitting America up into a Putin paradise, so for that, I say, noooooo thank you.

Was great, until they updated it. They seem to have updated the app such that as soon as you touch the advertisement in the feed (Uber, Walmart, etc), it automatically opens in the web browser. I would suspect they get a kickback from their sponsors for each “click” they get from within the bleacher report app. I could be wrong but it’s been very annoying...

Dark mode. Would be great to have the option to switch to dark mode. Otherwise best social app out.

Unable to remove NHL. My teams scores include NHL but I don’t want that did not choose that have no teams there... don’t care about it don’t want NHL scores forced on me. Why is it not possible to remove NHL from the scores

Too much basketball. What is this apps obsession wth basketball. I’ve turned off every filter related to basketball and I still have more crap about that than any other sport. Even in the off-season. Can’t handle it. I know people love bball but for those that can’t stand it how can we get away from it?

Good app. Fire Section shows content from a year ago

Garbage app. It won’t let me give zero stars so I had to give it one. Half the time the stories don’t load or just keep refreshing over and over every two seconds so you can’t read it. Also causes my iPhone to go super hot and eats the battery life. I have loaded and deleted various versions over the years and now I give up. You should too if you can’t get it right after all this time.

No longer about sports. I used to use Bleacher Report as my go to football and general sports app. Over the last year or so, the focus of the reporting has gone from reporting sports to social and political issues. I understand that the issues have become intertwined with recent stoppages if sports due to global events....but sports for me an escape from world and political events. Ill look elsewhere for my sports news.

Comments. Can't open up the comments on any article you guys post it's very annoying and makes having this app pointless. Fix this crap already.

Latest update fixed the Music play issue. (Old review) This used to be my most popular app. I spent more than an hour every night before bedtime with my music app on and browsing through the day’s sports news. The new update somehow stopped my music play whilst reading which is kind of sucks. (New review). Latest update fixed the Music play issue. Now I can enjoy my music whilst going through all the news and comments in the community on a nightly basis. So back to 5 star. Thanks BR.

Used to be good... Loved this app back when it would show links and stories about my favourite teams. Now the only news it feeds me is individual player highlights from my teams post game.

Crashes instantly. Has been crashing instantly for months fix this garbage

The worst sports app I’ve ever seen. I downloaded the app to see how much AEW PPV was. Too pricey for me but that’s not why the 1 star. It asks me to pick my teams. Of the leagues I watch, only the NHL actually has teams. Where’s the CFL, And NLL teams. And the WHL is nonexistent on the app. How is high school sports in this app and not the CHL, they are where the NHL drafts out of. And then the scores, the only scores you have that I would care about is the NHL. No CFL, no NLL, no WHL. This is the WORST sports app I’ve ever seen.

Please fire whoever developed this app. I’m on year 2 of using this app and they STILL haven’t managed to fix the annoying notification glitch. Every time I click a BR notification I am taken to a team or sport’s main page and have to search through the content to find the actual headline/post I clicked on… an absolute joke of a problem in 2022 and so simple to resolve. Liquidate the company asap

Great app. I just got the app, and I instantly loved it. I’m a huge sports guy, and it helps me stay on top of all of my favs. I only have one problem. There is a feature that allows you to like a post/video/story, and after a while, the newest stuff comes to the top of the list. So, it takes forever to relook at some of my likes. Yes, I know there is a thing as “save for later,” but some posts don’t have that option. Please make a page for all of your liked posts. That will improve an already great app

What happened?!. Recently you have done away with the top half of the teams where tweets are. I don’t care about a lot of the tweets per say, but they often had links to videos, columns, and articles that I did care about. Now I get fewer articles, less information, and more goofy articles about what would it be like if we did all these redrafts from years past. As a Braves fan I get some battery power, little Mark Bowman, and waaaaaayyyyy to much Joel Reuter. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!! So sorry 0 stars isn’t an option. Had the app for years and follow Braves, Royals, Chiefs, K-State, and Bama on it. It’s literally my only sports app, but it’s getting deleted soon if things don’t change.

Double standards and no accountability. First off the customer service/tech support is just the worst I’ve ever seen, you will not hear anything back on any issues you have wether it be a ban or a technical issue. If being a part of a racist/toxic/threatening/ignorant/spam/ offensive/sexist/demeaning filled community is what you’re looking for then this is the app for you. They claim they will not tolerate any of the above listed offenses yet any comment section/live chat has it all over the place and nothing is done with the offenders and those kind of offenses actually flourish on this app and in its community. Bleacher report is not a sports app/company that should be in business if it condones and allows these offenses to happen on a daily basis. The next thing is the writers. I guess they hire writers right out of middle school because this is some of the worst writing I’ve seen since I was in elementary school. I guess if you throw enough crap against a wall it will stick and that’s the business and ethics model bleacher report has chosen.

Too much Basketball. I use to love this app, advised everyone to get it. With the most recent updates it does dig up some recent news from my teams still that are not basketball. It the fire section is at least 90% basketball. Today I scrolled through over 50 basketball videos to get to a non-basketball related video. This is awesome if you love and only want news & videos on basketball. It’s also hockey season, where are the highlights? In the heart of football season basketball was also the most posted sport. In basketball offseason it was also the most posted sport. Come on. This is barely a sports app anymore. I’ll take my time of scrolling through basketball to a different app that I can find non-basketball related news and videos.

Glitching. I use the app daily and nightly and even through out the day, but recently it has been not working properly. When opening the app it loads fine but when clicking on the team I want to read about or article it want load. The other issue is it may open the article but it won’t load it all the way it will just show the screen image no info just that’s it loading an it won’t ever come up. I hope you can resolve the issue I’m a loyal user and have been for quite a while. Thank you.

Used to be great, but issues have crept in.. My most used app for 4/5 years, as it has everything you need for sports. Unfortunately, it’s begun freezing and crashing frequently within the past year. It most recently started to randomly shoot you down the page when scrolling through the “more” area for a team or sport (Where they have smaller articles and twitter posts, but sometimes links to the best content). They seem to have fixed the MANY issues that had started to occur when reading non-BR articles by using a new browser (thankfully). Hopefully they can fix the other issues. They’re frequent and sometimes severe enough to make me just give up

Decent. A sports app that has decent stories but spends more of its effort trying to be social than being useful. Twitter feed updates on your favorite team is nice but the fact that it’s 2018 and you don’t have real time updates for scores is ludicrous. I should be able to have a push alert anytime one of my team scores. I shouldn’t have to go into the app and keep checking for the score. 2019 update: App keeps adding more and useless stuff. I don’t need to be bugged constantly to make an account. You want my email address to purely have it not to benefit me with an account that allows me to say sports words at other people saying sports words. Still no real time scores. Disappointing.

Horrible app. You are lucky if you are able to read an article for more than 3 seconds. App crashes about half the time you try to read anything. At this point you can read tweets that are related to your team and that’s about the only thing that loads. Every update makes the bugs worse. It’s crazy how long this app has been this bad. Drains your battery within ten minutes of use. It is so unoptimized for iPhones, I really can’t believe this app is allowed to still be on the marketplace. Never write reviews but this one deserves a review. Only good thing I have to say is how quick it will for you a notification for any big news for the teams you follow and the app is worth the download alone for that. But best of luck trying to read any article link on here.

Bleacher Report. Bleach report, making dreams come true… Some of us are diehard sports fans, and it’s just how we live our life… And to have an outlet that gives us a place to voice our opinion on message boards or give us constant updates to keep us in the know with what’s happening with our favorite teams is amazing… Everyone I know has the app and even some of the more talented ones are on it posting messages about their favorite players and teams… Keep up the good work

Was it something I said???. I used BR for the longest time. Even deleted ESPN and strictly used BR. I enjoyed the communication and sometimes banter between other users. I must not share the same ideology as the BR staff does. I tried to comment on an article and it wouldn’t let me. I tried to post on my own profile. Still wouldn’t let me. I contacted their tech department and they gave some some suggestions. Nothing. I went as far as to delete the app and reload it. Still nothing. PLUS I lost all of my followers and people I followed. Even though I never used language or and sort of derogatory words, I think BR is biased on what is allowed to be said. Pretty sure they just blocked me. I could be wrong, but I moved onto another sports app.

Garbage App. I spent $50 to watch the AEW PPV a couple of hours after it started. I go to start from beginning like EVERY OTHER PPV STREAMING SERVICE ALLOWS and notice it only lets me watch live…so everything that happened before I started watching and can’t watch it until tomorrow after I get off work and the whole show has been spoiled on the homepage. They seriously post match results on the homepage, the same homepage that won’t let me start the show over so now there’s not even a reason to watch the replay, cause BR has given all the results away on the homepage 🤷🏾‍♂️. Support says there’s no restart feature during the broadcast 😐. I’ve just been sold on signing back up for cable smh morons.

Great app but.... Ok I want to make it clear but I really like this app a lot. I think it’s cool to interact with other fans about your favorite sports leagues and teams. It kinda has the feeling of “fans first”. Just two problems. One is that I would really like if you could show women’s college basketball scores and live pga tournament standings. I think those would be great additions to the app. The other is more technical. Recently when I’ve been looking through scores the app just decides to kick me out for no reason. I have a newer iPhone so I think this is the app’s fault. If you could fix this bug ASAP I’d really appreciate it but overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend it!

More politics than sports. I used to really like bleacher report, but now they barely post story’s about actual sports. It’s all click bait political comments to incite angry comment threads. Bleacher report is just like the main stream media now. They have a narrative that there are trying to push and force you to accept, rather than just fulfilling there original promise to bring you sports story’s. There also joining in with cancel and censorship culture. More people are being blocked and muted than ever. It has nothing to do with hate speech, if you say something they they don’t like or agree with, you get muted and there is literally nothing you can do about it. Bleacher report is just mainstream media trying to deplatform and cancel anyone they disagree with.

Too Many Videos. I have been using B/R since 2018 and have usually had a great experience. Over the past few months there has been a shift from articles to videos that has degraded the user experience for me. For example a recent post titled “Trades to Reheat MLB Hot Stove” is video that you have to watch live. In the past this would have been an article and I could scroll to find information relevant to my teams. I get that a lot of platforms are shifting to videos, but I would at least like an article after the live video session is over.

Forced me to download for AEW. I had to download this busy, ugly, convoluted app and sign up for an entire new account just to keep my very expensive AEW PPV purchase. I’m not even co rodent it worked. The app wanted a whole bunch of personal information like access to my contacts and to link my Facebook account(which I don’t have because why would I?). Even after all the hoops I had to jump through it still wouldn’t register unless I picked a team to follow. I don’t give a you know what about sports at all. Yet, I HAD to pick a team to follow and receive notifications about to finish signing up for the app. All of this nonsense to have access to my All Elite Wrestling purchases. AEW PLEASE find a better way to offer your PPVs in America than the TERRIBLE B/R crap.

Surprising Lack of Hockey Insight/Knowledge. I mostly pay attention to football, hockey and MMA. Love the communities and that is the reason I have this app still, please never take that away. I like the humor/rumors on this app, even if they don’t come true. You guys are solid on NFL and UFC but your NHL coverage is so much rougher than it should be. For NHL coverage… It’s basically the community and that’s it. The articles are comically bad just based off accurate round they were drafted, spelling errors and if someone is even still in the team. The updates are days to almost a week late a lot of times. The in game replays play while other videos play and you can’t stop it on the mobile app.

Needs to change. BR needs to do something about the comment section because it’s full of stupid people who hide behind screens saying things they wouldn’t even think about saying in real life. And then it blows my mind that they post all this stuff about change and equality but they’re giving trolls and stupid people a platform to voice their opinion and just make everything so negative. Like I don’t get it, I really don’t get it. I hope the developers read this because comments aren’t even about sports anymore they’re about politics, trolls, negativity, insulting athletes who albeit make millions but are still human beings. Do something about the comment section because it’s trash and needs to be revised or just taken out completely.

Give me NHL SCORES!. This is ridiculous that when I view this app and I want to see the scores on the scores home page it shows me NFL and NBA scores which are great sports and I need to see those scores updates as well but why on the Home page for that are there only soccer scores and if I even want to view NHL scores I have to go to your stupid slider at he top of the page and scroll past college basketball and college football, which college football at this point is basically over just to finally be able to find the NHL tab and view my scores there. If I am not able to view NHL scores on the scores page without having to go through the stupid slider bar past the others dumb sports I will delete this app and switch back to ESPN where they take sports scores seriously. Thanks a very frustrated hockey fan

Too many useless/dumb “news” alerts. Update: they’re doing the below AGAIN. The Capital One Match is NOT “NFL News” and I don’t need tens of alerts for it in the lead up or during. I use Bleacher Report mostly for its alerts on news and scores. It’s SPAM. Unfortunately, I’m looking for an alternative because Bleacher Report sends way too many alerts that are just… not news. I received tons of “news” alerts for the Brady-Rodgers-DeChambeau-Mickelson match leading up to it, and then received around 10 as it was going on under “NFL News”. That match was NOT NFL news. And really, that’s just the last straw of many, many “news” alerts that just aren’t news. Also, please stop with the cringey overuse of emojis 🤬🥶👎🏼😵‍💫🤮🙈

Complicated Website for Mobile Users. BR never seems to work for me. When I hit the notification about a topic I know that it doesn’t land where I think it will go if it opens at all. Maybe it’s me. But I still can complain. I can open other cable news sites just fine. Just managing through the BR site on the phone is not worth it to me as I will usually inadvertently go off into lala land and never find my way back to the article I was looking at. Like if I’m looking at a football article and I hit a stray button when I hit the go back arrow I end up with basketball and I can’t find what I was looking at. The bottom line in my humble opinion is you need to simplify the site for mobile users. One mans opinion. Good articles if you can get to them.

Elementary Journalism. The app used to be the best. The app used to be worth reading almost hourly. However the app has turned into a drama filled wanna be sports Facebook. Although somewhere it forgot the sports reporting aspect. It is now 90% opinion and I may be wrong but we all have one and I couldn’t care less about reading someone else’s over and over and over and over. It is convenient that you have put in things to block, wait no you force everything onto us. It had a good run but took a social turn for the worse. To anyone reading this, if you want sports reporting and stats this is NOT the app for you. If you want drama and politics and social status and never ending opinions this is the app for you.

Only reason I have is because magazine costs get up there. It’s a cool app for the few good articles released. But between the division and politics, the hate of anyone who has a different view on trump this app has become pretty bad. You glorify kaepernick and demonize those who may not agree with his stance. Your writers act like their word is the only word to listen to. I can’t read an article about football without some slander or bias about conservatives or people who think like them. This app was dope a few years back. But you guys jumped on the hate bandwagon and continue to spread division with every article. Thank you for inciting rage in young impressionable men and women because that’s what this country needs right now?? And this will get lost in the review stack as I’m sure you people could care less what your readers think. “Do as I say not as I do”

It used to be pretty decent. The overall 5 star rating is clearly manipulated, if you’re ever on the app, it’s a running joke as to how bad it is. The premise is a good one, but it’s become too bloated and barely worth combing through the clickbait. The one thing you can count on with certainty, is that any article written by a Bleacher Report staff writer, is absolute garbage and not worth reading. You can usually click the comments and determine if the article is worth reading. I think it’s time for another app to come takeover the space… bleacher report is too corporatized to change, we need a new option so this company can be replaced. Until then, I know the websites to find good articles and can do my own searches on twitter

Good for news but notification links don't always work. I like this app a lot for breaking news and alerts, and a lot of random social media stuff that you don't see on major sites. The quality of the content is ok. The main problem I have is that the deep linking often doesn't work. I'll get notifications and when I click on them it doesn't take me to that story but just to the top of my feed, and I have to scroll through to try and find what I wanted to read. And sometimes I can't even find them so I give up. Not sure why this happens, I haven't had this problem in other apps.

Quality Falling: The worst form of adds. Used to be my favorite app, hands down. Great content, diverse opinions, stuff for every sport. The quality of content is dropping, and so much of it is outsourced, recycled material. That part would be so bad, if it weren’t for the fact that so many the outside webpages weren’t so full of obtrusive pop up adds that are unclosable, and almost always fake contest malware adds. Because it’s impossible to run a pop up blocker on this app, when I click on a story I’m interested in, there’s a 50% chance I won’t be able to read it once the page loads. It won’t even let me go back to the page, either. I have to leave the article completely.

Major bug. I don’t do reviews. But I feel like this is necessary. I don’t why or if this happens to other people when using the BR App, but when I’m watching a video from the app the volume is fine and I can hear everything (after pressing the button for the voice to play) but then a few seconds later the volume/sound turns off, while the video is still playing. Then I have to press the bottom left for the sound to come back on and then a few seconds later the volume turns back off. This is soooo frustrating and makes using the app pointless. It’s a huge flaw and an update to fix this is needed ASAP!

Love the app, request for a new setting. You guys should allow us to choose which sports appear in the little mini scores chart at the top of the home tab. For example, I’ll never watch a baseball game as long as I live, don’t care about it at all, but I have to scroll through a bunch of baseball scores to get to the only sport I follow on here—football. Idc if there are less scores to see up there; I just want to narrow it down to what I care about. Overall, app is great.

Watered Down. Bleacher Report started off as Team Stream and it was literally a stream of news for your team. It was informative and made you feel like you knew the most about your team. It has turned into a social media platform where they have too many articles from what I can only assume to be college kid’s blogs that regurgitate information from other college kid’s blogs. The push notifications used to be great. It gave you just what you wanted. The news. Now it gives me what shoes someone wore or what prank someone did regardless of how many times I check to make sure those things are not turned on in the notification settings.

Tap in live videos. Please fix. I use to use this app for all my news notifications and it was great. The tap in live videos have ruined your app and your news. People use this app to read articles and to receive news notifications, not to watch some kid in high school making video blogs about sports news or what’s your opinion. People in the real world don’t have time to watch a 30 min video at 2:30pm. If you want to chase the 5% that works from home and the unemployed you go right ahead but you will lose another proud supporter. There is no way I am alone in this opinion, and I’m probably with the majority. Please fix.

Love the App. Seriously love this App. If I could change one thing however, I would make it easier to see the scores of live games at the top of the homepage. Easier to access Top 25 CFB scores, NFL games, etc. I don’t need to see that one of my teams has a game coming up in two days. I would rather see all the live scores. Being able to toggle between sports would be perfect. And then being able to specify what scores (Top 25, SEC, etc.).

Great app but some annoying features. Overall, this app is great. But there are some things that happen almost regularly that just leave me reading notifications and not bothering to open the app. First, when I open a notification, I am frequently taken to the home feed rather than the actual post I’m trying to access. Second, don’t provide material that requires an subscription. That’s why I downloaded this app. I don’t want even more subscriptions to other sites for similar material. Other than that, it’s a fine app.

Horrible Interface with random scrolling because of Ads. I never write reviews but I have been so annoyed with this that I felt the need to share this so others can see the terrible design of this app. Whenever I get a highlights notification and click on it to watch the highlight in the app, it loads straight to the video and then about two seconds into the video, as all the ads in the app finally load, it’ll scroll way past the video I was watching. Then I have to scroll back down to try and find it. This is not something that just happens every once in a while, this happens literally every time I click on a notification for this app. Until BR fixes this I will be unable to rank this as anything other than a 1 star app

Ads. The app does what it says but the pop-up ads don't go away, without going all the way back to the beginning of the article or force closing the app. On top of that some pop-ups are for porn sites and Bleacher Report does not seem to care, I reach out to voice my concerns but they have ignored it and been unresponsive. The app is advertised as 12+ so for them to sell advertisement to porn sites, In my opinion unacceptable, if they want to change the rating to 18+, they feel free to do whatever they wish. For them to act like they don’t know what’s going on is pathetic as they get paid for the advertisements so they know exactly who’s is advertising on their site and through their app.

A trash app for trash “fans”. I’m convinced this app is run entirely by teenage interns with no attention to detail. Daily typos, incorrect photos that don’t match the article subjects, and constant clickbait headlines make it feel amateur. The majority of community posts & comments are from casuals who appear to lack actual understanding of the game, rules, strategy, players/coaches, etc. Just a bunch of couch warriors talking trash, spewing hate, and calling for everyone to get fired, shut up, or go away. Also I’m no feminist, but the raging and rampant sexism from BR users is alarming. Overall very little intellect, insight, or even facts on here. I’m in my 30s and apparently too old for this app. Unless you want constant alerts about Drake’s betting, go elsewhere for your sports news and community.

App shows a blank screen in articles. Have used and loved this app for years but the recent glitches and bugs have frustrated me enough to leave a review in the hopes enough people point this out to be fixed. The articles themselves are enjoyable and knowledgeable, but it’s nearly impossible to read some of the articles because after reading for less than a minute, a black screen pops up and forces you to reload the screen which buys you only a minute if you’re lucky. I’ll continue to use the app as best I can but if bugs like this make using the app a more frustrating experience than it’s worth.

BR-sports or politics?. I have been using this app for about 3 years. I prefer to keep politics and sports separate but BR loves to regularly stuff politics down our throats, especially when election season is approaching. I am regularly censored for respectfully commenting on things like anti American or anti police articles and comments, while anyone with an opposite opinion from mine can say anything no matter how inappropriate or outrageous it is. It’s pretty clear what BR’s opinion is on the topic and that anyone who disagrees is not welcome. I have options BR, I am DONE and I am switching to Barstool Sports. If you enjoy being preached at by activist Olympic soccer players and a space jamming NBA player (who does his homework) than BR is the sports app for you!

AMAZING. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for an app. Bleacher Report, however, deserves 1,000 5 star reviews from me! I hardly even use ESPN anymore. I’ve been using for the last 2 years I believe. From great in depth articles to AWESOME videos, Bleacher Report in my mind has blown away the ESPN app in every way! Ever since they introduced the comments section, I don’t even read the article! I just read the subject then see what people have to say. You guys have rocked it so hard and done an amazing job putting together this 5 star app. Thank you so much!

Abysmal. If giving an app zero stars is possible, Bleacher Report takes the cake. An absolutely annoying process just to even use an app. Get spoiled by trying to watch a replay of an AEW PPV, while trying to use the BR app. Amazing that it’s 2021, and yet somehow you’re not able to watch a replay of a PPV 3+ hours after it’s been off the air. It doesn’t make any sense. WWE doesn’t have this issue with their product. But for some reason the B/R app is a total train wreck. Wouldn’t recommend using their app to watch AEW ppv’s unless you’re actually tuning in live with no interruptions.

Good app, but currently has a few bugs. I like the content feed and the notifications are timely/good. Gripes: ‘Home’ tab is frozen (since second leg of c’league playoffs!) despite multiple iOS and app updates. The ‘Alerts’ tab also fails to load since the last update. (I have iOS 12.2). When I purchase a game stream, the game doesn’t load right away and I often have to refresh the page, press the ‘live’ button and then still fast-forward to ‘live’ stream as it goes back to beginning of the feed. Nice to have: I use a separate app to get sport schedules/table updates, team lineups, live commentary and scores.

Fixed: Good content, app handles content poorly. Fixed: Trying to scroll through articles is painful! The screen refreshes as content loads....over and over and over. Try scrolling down to see what they say about your favorite team? Nope, let’s take you back to the top 18 times. Update: Man, these guys are responsive on their bugs! Works great now and they sent me a note letting me know they pushed a fix. Amazing. Setting the standard fur how apps should be supported. 👍

Almost great. Love the app and the way it pulls content, discussion and updates together in a great little package. Just 2 complaints. 1) the stream preview section cont on the main page is often no where to be found when you click into the stream and you would think it would be the most recent content. 2) it freezes up from time to time and I have to force restart my phone or quit the app. I thought this was an issue on an older phone but just upgraded to a 13 pro and it’s still happening.

Trash. I’ve been getting my sports news and scores from BR for a couple years now, but the articles have been increasingly poorly written. I don’t pretend to be a writer, but those that do should at least proof read and edit their material. I’m not just talking about grammatical errors. The writers frequently have blatant mistakes, even in headlines. The articles themselves are poorly thought out. The information is not chronological; you have to scroll WAAAY down to find a final score while a highlight from the beginning of the game is on the top of the page. And i had to go searching for the score of a World Cup game. There are Americans who like soccer. And this is not a political app! I don’t care if an athlete is spewing politics, just give me sports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For gods sake stick to sports. If you want the latest sports news this app is not for you. This app was once great. I loved this app because it offered the best sport news and updates around. Since 2017 bleacher report has gone downhill at an alarming rate. They include politics in just about every article no matter what you follow. I don’t think it is crazy to want sports news without the political opinion of bleacher report in every other sentence. I love sports cause they give me an escape from the screwed up world around us but apparently they too no longer make sense. I hope one day bleacher report starts covering sports again but for now it looks as if I must turn somewhere else for sport news and scores.

Banned for Reporting Nasty Comments.... I had been on BR for over two years! There were things I liked and things I didn’t such as how poorly the support service is, also not receiving an email telling me about my account was very disappointing. I have not heard back for over a month and I don’t plan on recommending this app to anyone because of the way I was treated and many others being banned for just absolutely pathetic reasons then not getting a massage about what they did or how long they are suspended. That app is run by rats that have absolutely no idea how to filter reported comments. For someone to be suspended for simply reporting comments of people saying absolutely disgusting things is a joke and an embarrassment for that BaRcelona app. Terrible

Just like everything else, it became political. Just like everything else these days, this app became political. Apparently it was too much to ask to just be able to read about sports on this app, because now they are pushing a massive agenda. I thought sports articles would be the one place left in this world you could go to find things that distracted you from the nonsense of politics these days. Unfortunately this is no longer true. I have had the app for many years and have loved it because you find articles you don’t find anywhere else, but now you have to sort through all the political articles just to find an update on your favorite team. I deleted the app today. Let me know when you’re done pushing the agenda and maybe I’ll get it again.

do something!!. bleacher report is a good site and app to get credible information, though articles actually written by bleacher are sub-par (based on the super biased opinions of bleacher writers) and that's not even the reason why i lowkey dislike the app. the MAIN reason why i will not give the bleacher app 5 stars is due to the invasion of malware that developers have yet to rid from the app. since last year (and 3 different mobile platforms) while reading any article, the page would re-direct into an "you're the 100th user prize" or "your phone is infected " page. fix that, and i would love bleacher unconditionally

Not a Sports App. This is more of a social media app than a sports app. It is constantly pushing content on you that you won’t care about, and if you are trying to get highlights of a game, you have to scroll through a million “posts” that may or may not be what you are looking for. After scrolling for a couple minutes you end up giving up on even trying to find the game highlights because you are tired of seeing the fire emoji on every other article. If they want have a social media variation of keeping of with games that is fine, but for us classic sports fans, make it easy for us to catch what we missed without shifting through junk. This is extremely frustrating right now because they are they only dang app with Champions League content.

2 problems. First off I love this app and I think it provides a good source of sports news. I think BR should focus more on smaller franchises/teams. I’m a Oklahoma Sooners and OKC thunder fan. Sometimes days will pass without a new OKC Thunder article. Also The OU men’s basketball page is dry there is never anything but a game recap. The 2nd think that I fell you guys could do better is adding the community feature to more than the NFL and NBA. Like add community’s to every MLB team and NCAA Teams. As a Sooner football fan I would love to use the feature to talk to other fans. Overall it’s a great app but it could be better.

Used to be the best. Bleacher Report used to be the best in terms of sports notifications. But they have lost their way in my opinion. On a daily basis I get junk notifications. “Cooking up these 42 trade ideas to make the Jets paid playoff contenders” or other things that aren’t relevant with a link to an article or in house video stream. It’s cool that BR is branching out to original content, however notifications of these posts do not belong as alerts. There is seemingly no way to disable them either. I want basic scores and actual news from bleacher report. If I want think-piece rambles, I will seek them out individually. For this reason I’ll be switching to The Score for sports based notices.

Great, but......... I love the app, not just for news and highlights, but also for other interests like wrestling, gambling, gaming, etc. I have one problem though. If you open the app and you happen to have notifications of that app from over 3 days ago, they disappear. I don’t like saving an article notification to read later only to mistakenly open the app and that disappears along with any other notification that’s more than 72 hours previous from the current date. If that gets fixed or addressed, this is THE quintessential sports app. Until then, I’m only giving ya 4. Sorry 😤
