Need more information!. I love seeing the different fishing spots near me but I wish that it was more informative. For example, was the fish caught on the shore, off of a dock or from a boat.

Free app. Nice app don’t have to pay out monthly like (other apps 🎣🧠🗣) that charge you just to look at the weather and current changes in tides & how percentage of fishing going to be on that day.

Very good. This app tells me what I want to know. It actually has a bit more than I need, making it feel a little cluttered. That being said, I appreciate the thoroughness and the easiness of being able to find the information I need. I’d kind of like to be able to have a different home screen that quickly showed me just the information I’m usually looking for on a given day: tide times/size, temperature, and wind speeds/times. All in all I’m pleased with this app and continue to use it.

“FISHING SPOTS WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED”. I installed the app, customized my profile, used it a while, and closed it. The next time I opened it, it said: FishAngler purchased the popular Fishing Spots app in 2017, and ever since has been part of a combined userbase with the FishAngler app community. Moving forward, we have decided to put 100% of our focus and development towards FishAngler. Updates and new features will only be available on the FishAngler app.

A peaceful place. It’s nice to have a place to share pics and info without having to be on Fake book and not seeing all the negative mess on all other social networks . The fishing forecast is pretty nice and the whole app works very nice I hope more people join up .

Great app. Doesn’t harass you for your location all the time and makes it optional. Clean interface and does what it says; can’t ask for more. I don’t see any ads yet, so it’s 5 star.

Better than Fishbrain. Better maps and more information without having to pay.

And it’s back to being great again!. I am changing my previous 1 star review back to 5 stars after the latest update. I’m glad I didn’t delete the app and never look back after the app got new ownership, because it is back to the functional app that I originally loved since they brought back the map feature to show where fish are being caught. That’s the only reason I used this app so much in the past anyways!! Thanks for the update!!!

Simple is sometimes better. This update blows. Primarily got this app just to have something easy to open to get best fishing times. This is way too unnecessarily complicated with all the personal information that's requested to just register and open the app. I'm surprised it doesn't ask for my favorite food and color. Nothing is intuitive about this update at all. I don't want to see a feed of people 1,000 miles from where I am once I finally open the app. Just a map and what's getting caught near me with best fishing times. For these reasons, I'm deleting this one. Sometimes simple is better.

This is Not a fishing app. It nice that folks are catching fish 3-5k miles away from me, though some are goldfish sized. I'm more interested in the waters around my area that are naturally populated with fish. I don't care for the DC reflecting pond, can't fish there even if it was stocked with fish. So I have to navigate through pages and menus to get to my local spots which is a Huge PITA. This app is more focused at folks showing off what they catch than assisting in finding or marking the best places and times to cast.

I like it. The app is an ok guide I have gone out fishing when it says 0 fish activity and killed it on drum then turn around go a few days later when it says 80% and not had a bite but all in all it’s a great app and I recommend it my fishing buddies

LOVE this app - Fishing community. Highly recommend to all fisherman and fisherwomen! It is a fishing community. I really enjoy seeing other people’s catches, hear what they’re using for bait, and seeing where they are getting their fish. I haven’t seen any negativity on the app either! Everyone is encouraging of one another which makes it extra enjoyable.

Fish pics. Really enjoy seeing ppl’s catch’s . But the most enjoyable is the pictures of children fishing and catching . Just the total joy in their faces says it all Great job to all parents that take their children fishing and getting them outdoors

Love this app!!. I love this app so much. It gives you the opprotunity to meet other anglers and see a bunch of fish cought every day! It also gives a weather forecast and fish forecast....so basically a fishing instagram.😂🤣

Love the upgrade. I am so happy they updated. The old one was old and outdated. I hear they are coming up with great functionality! I can't wait. The best part is the Fishing Forecast under the more menu.

Fishing Spots Review. There are several things I like about this app! First there’s a social networking feature that enables anglers to network globally! Second, there’s a forecast feature that can give an angler about fishing conditions. Finally, photos of an angler’s favorite fishing spots and recent fish caught can be uploaded and viewed by other anglers as well. In addition, there are other nice features!

Advertise/market. This is app is very great and useful. There’s many ways in which the app can help someone and more people should know about it. Many people want this but don’t know it exists. I conclude the makers of the app should sought more advertising and marketing, so others can find the app as well as have more people interacting on the app-thank you

Great update! So many new features. The forecast feature is awesome! I love everything about the new update. It took a really outdated app and added a user friendly look and feel. It's my new favorite app!!!

Love the app. One thing missing is a quick click to location for driving. It give you a google map but you can't click on the location for driving directions. Still have it 5 stars because it's still an awesome app.

I like it. I love to fish. With my grandson being slightly challenged, I don’t get to go very often. This app helps me to enjoy the outdoors more often. I am working with my grandson to get him interested in at least going out to the water.

Pointless. I downloaded it to find new fishing spots around me but the “Exact Location” is where the person uploaded the photo, not caught the fish. There’s like 20 dots of people at their house or on the freeway with the category of “Fishing Spot.” It’s literally useless to see someone fish at a nice looking spot from the picture but the marker for it be at there house because they didn’t upload it till they were home later that day.

Best app for free!. Love this app. You can search local fishing spots and see what people are catching and exact locations. My bf and I found our new honey hole with a ton of largemouth bass, good 15-20 inch long. All from someone posting on that lake in a different area! It’s fun to explore and see what people are using as well!

Great app. I love this app cuz it shows you species of fish that other people in your region are catching .it also shows maps and I feel like this app has a bright future for up and coming Anglers

Ya Never Know. As a fisherman we are always looking for that magical edge that will put a fish on the hook. Does this app give that edge? I do know that it’s lots of fun to use, and it has lots of good stuff. Does it add to the fun of fishing? Absolutely. So do I consider it the magical fishing app? Close enough.

Surprisingly good. Firstly, it’s a bit ironic to have an app that’s goal is to provide a platform where fisherman can share information about their preferred spots seeing as how fisherman are just notoriously secretive and stingy with pretty much everything involving their craft. Overall though, the execution of this app is done pretty well. There is a lot of informational customization to account for in a fishing app and I would go as far to say that this app has certainly raised the bar quite a bit in these regards. I really only downloaded it to organize my specific fishing spots in an easily accessible and accurate manner. I will admit that it took a short period of time playing around with the app learn how to perform simple operations such as removing the map of all public fishing data, but that’s just because there are so many features that it requires some additional learning to fully grasp them. I would consider this issue to be an inevitable side effect of having throughly constructed software, so it’s not really a complaint. But yeah, i can tell that somebody has put it an extreme amount of effort to develop this app to its current state and so far they have done a great job.

"YOU BLEW IT!". This app used to be my favorite app to use to find fishing spots. After this most recent update, I think I will be deleting the app. This used to have a map with GPS and pictures to prove that people caught fish at that GPS location. Now I literally have to click on each picture just to see where it was taken. That is the hardest way to find a Fishing Spot ever. What if you just want to check in your area to see where there are some good spots? You took that option away from us. And for that I am taking my loyalty somewhere else.

Where are the fish caught on what point. Wish I could find all the spots or people who caught fish in my area and show a nice little map Iof the area. can’t figure out how to get it to do it again. That would be cool to see 50 figh that where caught of a point

Love the app. It is really nice to log my catches on the fishing app. I am able to look at it and see what I caught this year. It is the same as keeping a fish journal/log book with people giving you compliments, everyone seems to be really nice. Definitely get the app you will have fun using it

Best app I’ve used for fishing. This app is a really great app. You can actually see what’s going on in your area. Where the other 1 you have to pay to use certain applications. I enjoy the fact u can see the weather and if someone that fishes the same spots you do to see if the spots dried up or even see what the have caught in that area.

Great app. It’s great to be able to connect with other anglers and share catches, this app works great without any problems. I love the “local” feature about it because I can see where I should fish and how other people are doing around me and what they are catching. Overall this app is amazing

New to fishing. Live in the Toledo area and just retired. Decided to buy a bass boat. Unfortunately, do not understand all of the electronics and live bait wells, plus Prime fishing areas. Is there anyone who is willing to educate a novice fishing person on these issues and educate me on the joys of this great sport.

Great app! We want video uploads!. I love the app but feel the only thing missing is video; we need and would like to upload video. Fantastic. This app is one of the best I’ve tried. Even beats many of the paid apps. Try and you won’t regret! Full of actual locations where anglers have caught fish. Lots of information as type of bait used, time of day, weather, etc. I rate this 5 STARS.

I agree with the others. This app is now useless with no map. Also the forum was removed and the data was not properly transferred over. The old version was much better just didnt look as nice. The new version is still glitchy and has a bunch of useless features that don't even work. They dont even have brown trout as a listed species and i put in a request to add it a week ago. I will be looking for a new app to keep track of spots and help others in my area.

Bad bad bad. Uhhhhh did I miss something? First they charge me for the full app without asking, then they update the thing and it's a completely different app. Now it's some crappy social media. I'm seeing fish people are catching in Oregon and I live in Texas and could care less than you could imagine what fisherman are doing up there. I can't even see the map anymore, which was the only useful part of this dumb overpriced thing. And I'm plagued with picture of fish species that don't even exist within 500 miles of me. Possibly the worst 6$ I accidentally spent ever. More like stolen from me. Terrible.

Best social networking for fishermen and women. Tried all the apps. This is the best. Tracks locations, baits, weight of fish and map is super helpful. Over the covid down time i have be living and dying by the fish forecast. Anytime the app is saying to fish i catch fish. Love the person to person interact and lots of friendly folks!!!

Real person real comment. I’m pretty sure I’ve used every fishing app out there just about and this is b far the best. I have no idea why this isn’t the top leading app of its kind as far as users but still plenty to keep in touch with the local fishing community. One Thing I Hate. There’s only one thing I hate. It’s when they show me the same picture every single time I open the app. It’s never different. It even says “Staff Pick.” Well I don’t care what they pick!! It’s been 2 weeks!!!! Y’all don’t have ANY OTHER PICKS!? Lame. I ended up having to block that particular user. Now I can’t see anything he does. But I can see EVERYONE ELSE FINALLY!!! *rolls eyes*

Leave a message. You need to create a way to message another person using the app without posting a picture etc. Like if you want to message another person but you don’t have there phone number to send them a text message. 👍🏻🎣

A day out with my son. Had a great day out on the Hawkesbury the day before we laid my father to rest with my mother. I took my son and grandsons out on the beautiful Hawkesbury to wind down before the coming farewell. So tranquil and peaceful was this beautiful river and to give up a catch was definitely a blessing. I know you was with us dad we could feel your warmth.

This app shares random people’s secret or public fishing spots and there are so many new spots I know now. The spots are only in the area that you want and the app also tells you what species there are in the pond, lake, river...

Good intentions. A good idea. Must not be enough people using it. Not in real time. I looked in an area where I fish and only found posts from a year ago. I have no interest in where and what worked a year ago. This is not an app that you can share info to increase your catch. I will go out on my own or watch Wicked Tuna.

App has been compromised. Started getting “Followed” Emails from women. The site/app must be catching it after the fact and deleting them from the follow list. I’ve used the app a few times to find fishing spots that are local. Nothing really in my bio and never listed a pic or anything in the Feed like other members. I’ll be deleting my account.

Great fishing app. This is a great app for anglers. It’s been pretty dead on with the fishing times and great to see what local anglers are catching and post for the drive to out do them. Lol

So much potential. Great app just needs a few updates for consumers to be completely satisfied.

Incorrect locations. This app isn’t the best but it’s promising! It’s clearly a knock off of FishBrain but I believe this app has potential to be a quality app. The locations are wrong on the map, At least in my area. If that was improved and had a better user-Interface, it would be quite a cool app.

What a bummer. Here I thought I was downloading the fishing version of Waze.... give me a map with catch icons by my species selection...nope... no catch map whatsoever. Nada. Sure is nice to see people fishing... but until I can dial-in my selected catch waters... viewing catch photos from Canada does me zero good. No catch map based upon my water criteria... catch and release app.

Don’t Do It!. This app asks for your phone number to confirm login. Immediately after signing up for this app , I began getting numerous junk mail calls to my phone number which has never happened before. There are better fishing apps out there that won’t give your private information to outside sources.

Excellent fishing log. I was looking for an app to track my catches and the gear used and conditions when fishing. This is great for that and for researching new nearby spots. A few quirks but overall very well done and fairly intuitive.

Meredith Lake Winnipesaukee fishing. Looking for any information for Lake Winnipesaukee fishing in mid July. Staying in Meredith area with my granddaughters would like some fishing action for the kids at that time. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Good APp. I like the App. Thanks for the good job! It would be great if add the instructions on how to read the forecast chart and the meaning of the different % values. It is intuitive to most people, but a bit less clear for others.

Fake spots. I wish you could do something about people posting there pictures and then giving bogus locations of there catch! The app is called fishing spots but it’s obvious a lot of them are bogus! I’d give five stars otherwise.

Great Fishing News. I love this app. I have found the forecast to be about 90% accurate. I really enjoy seeing the fish caught from all over the U.S. Great app
