Solid 15/10. I love this app! It does exactly what it tells you and sends you a Bible verse at the time that you set. I personally set it to when I wake up. I have been spoken to through a verse that came from this app. It really helped me in a troubled time in my life. Since this app lets you favorite the verses, I was able to keep that verse and not forget it. I love this app and rate it a solid 15/10! 😂 God Bless you.

I enjoy my coffee and the Word Alert first thing every morning. I think about what it means to me that day. The word has survived for thousands of years and has given comfort to millions of believers. I take comfort from it daily. I value this wonderful tool that helps me to focus my day in this right direction. And I highly recommend it.

Just what I need!. I try each day to wake up early and read my Bible then meditate on God's word. But what I want doesn't always work out. I am a devout Christian, a writer, an artist and my husband and I are in the middle of remodeling our entire house. HUGE JOB!! On the days that don't go as I planned, I set my Word Alert to give me my daily scripture early in the morning so that at least I will have that spiritual food for the day. I refer back to it off and on all day and the funny thing is that the scripture nearly always goes right along with what I am experiencing that day! But I know it's not a coincidence, it's God at work in my life!!!

I love this app!!! (Addictive). I am a Junior in High School and I am always busy whether I am doing homework and projects or if I am just having a busy day I don't always have the chance to read my bible so this app really helps encourage me through the day because it only takes a few seconds to look at so I have no excuse for not reading my bible. -Daisha

Always what I need. The verse of Day always seems to be what I need to get through my day. I have broken promises that I personally made on my soul and to GOD. I have read the verse of the day, and prayed over these dark times and GOD let his light shine through as forgiveness. This app always has what I needed and has what you need too! BEST BIBLE VERSE APP. I have been using this app for a long time and it has never disappointed me! I love getting the notifications daily and being able to be renewed ! I highly recommend this app for anyone looking for JUST a bible verse reminder app. I absolutely adore how convenient and well-working it is. I always get my notifications on time and I love how God is constantly speaking to me through this app. It’s super simple and easy to use.

Timely, Encouraging Words. I am so thankful for his app. So many times, the scripture I get for the has pertained to what I had faced in the day, or was about to face. I appreciate it so much. The only "suggestion" I have, is the ability to save favorited verses in the cloud, so if you switch phones, you can just download the info from the cloud. Other than that, I am deeply grateful to the developers, and all those involved for making this app possible!

I still love it! It's been another two years!. I have been using Word Alert for about two years. I love to start my day reading the Word of God. Word Alert and some other similar apps make it possible for me to have a 5-10 minute wake up time with Jesus before fixing breakfast for my husband. After he goes to work, I get into the Bible and study the Word. However, Word Alert makes it possible to have a quick moment with the Lord any time throughout the day. Are you in a hallelujah mood, in a slump or bored? Read the verse for the day again and talk to Jesus. It's a great pick me up and enhances the hallelujah moment. Too depressing. In my opinion, I understand what it takes to be a follower of Christ and I’m quite aware of how much it takes to leave the worldly things to be with him but this app makes it so obvious and it’s honestly annoying. I think the verses should be more about faith, fulfillment and happiness in Jesus and God to make Christians more happy to be in God. Instead of always reminding us about torture and pain for following Jesus. I am not saying it should be all nice quotations but at least. I honestly uninstalled the app because of that. I need assurance sometimes not just tribulations and attacks.

Minute by Minute Inspiration. Word Alert comes in early during the morning but I’m reading the scriptures multiple times during the day! I love how the Verses always seems to fit right into my hectic day! I also share Word Alert with friends and family and they share with me as well!!! Thank You to EVERYONE!

Amazing app. The word of God has been there for me, and at times of great need the Lord has worked through this app and the much needed help at that time. Word Alert is wonderful!. I love that this app is free. I love setting my own time for the verse of the day to appear. I love how so often the verse is exactly what I need to hear at that time for my situation, it’s amazing how God works! I love knowing other family members are pondering the same verse of the Bible that I am on any given day -makes me feel a bit more connected to those that are far away.

Verses Easy to Learn and Remember. I was brought up Catholic in the 1950's when Latin was the ways of the Church. Since then it has changed. I enjoy the singular verses as I remember them and the Bible and Mass has much more meaning now. One a day and marking my favorites is perfect and I can go back and reflect on these for encouragement. Thank-you for such a perfect app especially for someone like myself whom never was taught in this manner and now wants to learn. It's a huge blessing.

At first it’s great…. When I had first downloaded this app I was thrilled to be able to start to my day with God’s word, and I was able to do that. However, when you use the app long enough the verses will start to repeat themselves. I know this because the verses that I’ve “hearted” or liked are the only ones that show up now. I’m not sure if this because I have liked them but of all the many verses in the Bible, I was expecting not to have many if any verses repeat.

God is Great!. This is such a wonderful app, I recommend you to set the time for when you wake up. What's the first thing a normal person does when they get up? They grab their phone to check their Instagram or Snapchat, Well at least I do. So what better way to wake up then to wake up to the word of God?

Inspired!. This app sends me notifications once a day and I get to choose the time. I love it!! I look forward to reading the word and it reminds me how much I am love by the almighty one! Everyone can use some inspiration on a daily basis.... would totally recommend this and share with a friend😇

Great variety and grouping of related scriptures. I also have a daily Bible verse app on my Fitbit but it has a lot more repetition and much less variety of scripture. This app has groups of related scripture that creates topic themes over a series of days but also stands on their own. It’s guided reading and is really enjoyable because you have the freedom to look forward and backwards in the app to review what you have already read or read ahead. A great addition to your daily reading.

very good for daily verses!. i downloaded this because the other app i was using for daily verses used the Old Testament. this app is so easy to use and you can look back on past verses or look forward, and you can favorite verses and look back on them later. i also like that you can set an alarm too so you don’t forget to read it daily! very good app and i’d recommend it if you’re wanting an easy app to use for daily bible verses!

Useful app I really like it to keep me in track with my relation ship with God. I will like to start saying that this app is just very easy to use I just like that remind me every day to be connect with the word of God :). Word Alert app is a blessing!. I have had this app installed for some months. This past Tuesday, my dad went to heaven and it was a hard day for us of course. This app’s verse that came up that day was from the Lord: John 16:22 - “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” My family and I were so blessed by this. A daily dose of God ... PERFECT way to start your day. Working as a First Responder, it's easy to feel frustrated and let the stress of the profession take over. Some days are better than others. As a Christian, I know that God is only a prayer away and this Bible verse app is the perfect pick me up. It's very user friendly. I have yet to find a verse that doesn't end up being the best medicine for the heart and soul. It's like I'm carrying my Bible with me wherever I go.

Great app!. I love this app! I downloaded it a while ago to receive daily scripture verses that’ll give me inspiration. I even had my boyfriend - who’s trying to be closer to God - download the app. We receive alerts every morning from the app before we even get out of bed and start our day! Awesome! The only thing I wish was available was the full bible book or full scripture of certain verses. That would be the most amazing thing ever! My thoughts... lol

The first thing I see in the mornings. In a world where we are constantly on our phones, I wanted the word of God to be the first thing I see in the mornings before any news or social media notifications. That's exactly what this does for me. It's scheduled to pop up on my lock screen so when I pick my phone first thing in the morning, I'm reminded of my heritage in Christ.

I love this app this should get 1;million stars that’s how good this is. I quickly go through apps, but I’ve had Word Alert since I got this IPad. I love this, because I can quickly here what God’s saying, this has helped me become stronger in my walk with god, this app has inspired me and the verses comfort me when I’m said I’m still young, but lots of things happen and the verses in this app remind me of Gods everlasting love and that there is no such thing as him leaving me, this app helped me deal with bullies. Refreshing. Can't believe this app doesn't have a billon or more users. We all need the 'WORD' to start our day. Almighty GOD is knocking at the door and unfortunately most of us wake up with things that have no meaning in our daily lives(entertainment, music, video games) etc. I now understand Matthew 7:13-14 more clearly. I Pray for everyone including myself. In JESUS name. Amen!

Text messages from God. I have been using this app for years; I call it my text message from God. There are times when this app is so spot on with the verses that it sends that I have to think that God truly can use anything, even a cell phone app. Thank you Word Alert for this wonderful reminder that God is always with us!

Great app!. This app is great! You just set the time of day you want to receive your alert and it sends you an encouraging Bible verse. Took me forever to find an app that did this! :) It's easy to use and it's exactly what I wanted. The way it works is similar to Sprinkle of Jesus, if you've ever used that, only instead of sending an encouraging message it sends an encouraging Bible verse. Sprinkle of Jesus is good too, though, if you're looking for something more along the lines of food for thought. This app is for you if you're looking for something directly from the Bible.

Great for the soul. During a difficult time in my life I decided to download this app. Every morning I was greeted with a new bible verse that really spoke to me, filled me with a sense of purpose, lifted me up and made me feel deeply loved by the Holy Spirit. These daily bible verses gave me the courage to face the new day knowing God was with me and there was no need to be anxious or afraid because there was nothing too big for God and he was with me always. It’s amazing how much this app helped me during the hard times and it was a happy reminder of Gods love on the good days too!

Incredible Message To Begin My Day. I set the alarm notification for 7 am every morning and it never fails to satisfy. I’ve been through hardships throughout my life and God is the only reason I’ve made it through better than I began. Put all of your faith and belief in Him so that you can be at peace while you live here on earth. I praise God daily and this app is a great way to get that started every day.

Best daily Bible verse app by far. I’ve been on a hunt for awhile now looking for the best daily Bible verse/word apps. It took quite a few different downloads of different kinds but I ended up uninstalling them after a day because of all the crazy ads and purchases. This one by far is the best and I do plan on sticking with this one. No ads, nothing extra, no purchases required, all just very straight forward and to the point. The daily reminders are really nice, you set a time and it sends you a notification at that specific time everyday of a Bible verse. It’s a great way to get your daily god of word in. If you’re looking for an app like this without all the extra stuff, this is the one.

Beauty for ashes!. This app has given me a verse to reflect on everyday. Life has changed a lot and has been challenging for me for the past several years. Suffering and death have shaken and saddened me to the core of my existence. When I feel let down by friends and family, these verses remind me of how all good things come to me from God. Amazing app. This app is exactly what I was looking for a simple app that gives you 1 verse a day to strengthen your faith in god and Jesus and get you through the day. I love the fact that I can pick the exact time I want the verse to pop up which really helps me when I’m in a stressful situation at a certain time each day. I also love how you can star and archive your favorite verses you received to look back on them in times of need. This app has truly helped me through many struggles and for anyone seeking to grow in faith this is the perfect app. Some verses come to me at the perfect time and say just the right thing as I feel stressed.

Blessing. I’ve had this app for couple of years now and it’s been such a BLESSING that even when I’ve tried changing it to a different app, I will always come back to this one. Helped me through a lot. Hi! I have been using it for about a year now and it’s helped me so much. I set the alert at 1 pm and when ever I feel down or need that push in life or school it pops up and has helped me remind that I am strong and I can do this. Love This App. I’ve been thoroughly pleased with this app. The ‘reminder’ feature is really useful and displays the day’s reading on my lock screen at a time of my choosing, making it easy to start off the day with méditations on scripture. The app’s design is simple and uncluttered and allows you to simply and effectively mark and store verses that want to hang on to. I think the app would benefit from an option for translation/version selection, but otherwise, I have to call this app perfect.

Great way to wake up.. The Word of GOD is a great thing to read and contemplate over when you wake up and start you day. I like reading a passage and seeing if I can find ways to apply it to my day and to my life. With just one passage a day my App delivers to me it makes it easier to concentrate of that part of GODS word I try to start each day with.

My Lifeline!!!. No matter what’s going on in my life, it seems the exact Words I need to hear are there each day to get me through. I have my Word set to 8:00 everyday; on all my devices so I don’t miss it. Sometimes that very message prompts me to read deeper, so I go to study the Scriptures deeper for sustainability through my toughest times, or to sustain the joy I got from that message. It’s my lifeline!

The Bread of Life. In The Lord's Prayer, Jesus says to ask the Father for our daily Bread. Often, this app contains my main course of the Bread of Life for the day. At other times it is a "side dish". Always, it is an encouragement and comfort to have the word of God available for me to chew on and to eat (believe)throughout the day... Absolutely Love my Daily Word Alert!. I absolutely love this app! I look forward to reading my daily prayer as soon as I wake up and will read it again multiple times throughout my day. I can always relate the scriptures to my daily life. I also read them to my children and it gives us a chance to talk about it and incorporate our Lord and Savior into our hectic busy lives. I often find myself looking ahead to the next scriptures because I am excited to see the others....

A great reminder. I enjoy this app, it’s good for when I first wake in the morning. I like to read the scripture for the day before I do anything else on my phone. Word Alert. Love the no frills just Bible verse(s)! I’ve set mine to be delivered just before my wake-up alarm goes off so I can start my day with reflection. Then it’s there if I want (or need😊) to revisit it during the day. Would love to know if it covers the entire Bible in a year (or more.) Word Alert. I start my mornings with word alert’s daily Bible verses. The word of God sustains me during these troubled times when people are pitted against one another. People who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Hitler said the Jews were disease spreaders. Today they say the unvaccinated are disease spreaders. It would appear the past is repeating itself I pray the Lord intervene on our behalf before it is too late and Word Alert reminds me of the prayers needed for all of us! I pray for those who do not know the Lord for they truly do not know what they do.

This app is a blessing to me. I mostly feel lazy to pick up my bible to read a scriptures when I wake up, but because of this app I’m able to keep up with reading scriptures because it’s on my phone and it’s always with me all the time. Parents. Parents need this more than faithful children. They go online and research...They don’t get notifications on their phone except for Facebook. Getting the daily word not only Inspires but remind me to do my duty as a NORMAL Catholic and research/understand my faith No one defends it and now everything is “PC” All it takes is one rosary from one great clergy or pope. Love this. I look every morning at the Word of the Day. Then I go and look up the meaning of that word and realize the depth of it. God’s Word is powerful. My life circumstances have been very demanding this past couple of years. Great little app!!. This is a wonderful app. Simple but perfect for getting in a daily dose of scripture. I set mine for early morning so it's the first thing I read when I wake up!! The only thing that would make it better and I would give it 5 stars is if you could choose different versions of the bible and scroll through them.

Works Really Well. I really like how the app works. The verses seem to be different and random every time which is what I like. I like everything the way it is. Something I would add is the whole bible... preferably NRSV so that we as users can dig around that verse.

My 10 second daily “bread”. No matter when or where or how I feel this app has brought me a nugget of God’s Word daily. I’m truly grateful for this app. It’s even inspired me to pick the Bible for the first time in my life and read and reflect more than 10 seconds in good times and bad.

Great app. As a Christian I struggle with letting life get in the way and cause me lapses in time where the lord isn’t at the top of my mind. I set a time for this app to remind me each day and I am studying a new passage each day by doing so. This is on top of my reading before bed. But overall, I love it.

Never forgets!. I have this app set for 5:30 a.m everyday! No matter how many times I forget to read my daily verse it’s always there when I remember! Just like God , He is always there no matter how much we forget , “That He is there!”

A Blessed App/LKA. This app., is and has been truly a blessing to me. It not only allows me to get closer to God but when I read the scripture presented for that day, I want to read and know more. The "Word of God" pulls me in wanting to know more about Him and what my purpose is besides Glorifying & Praising His name.

I love this app so much. Me and my family have a group chat on our phones and I use the app to send a daily bible verse to the chat for everyone to read and we can talk about what it means and stuff like that I would absolutely recommend this app to any christian

Spiritual need. Viewing gives me a way to stay connected my faith in our god. The reading give me a reason to feed my hunger for the love and appreciation of what Jesus did for us. The readings inspire me and make me feel better about my day and my love for god.

You can never have enough of the word. You’re a busy day life sometimes we forget to open our hearts in our eyes to see the word , it coming across my phone I get a gentle reminder that God is there and his word, goes into my heart.

My strength and daily devotion. I need encouragement daily during this walk of life. Every day the Lord grants me to see the beautiful earth he created. The seasons are reminders of him above. Great! Buuuuut.... Great way to start my day, especially when the Word fits right to what I need to hear. However it would be nice if the list of favorite of verses can be sorted by the Books of the Bible, and also make it to a photo image to save it as a phone wallpaper.
