Bad where it counts.. This app is good as the task of cataloging different strains and even finding those strains within a small radius. If you want to find your favorite strain say, 25 miles out then you’re out of luck. There’s no option to search within a predefined radius. This is super frustrating. I know I found the strain I wanted when I took a drive out of town a couple days ago. I can’t find that place again because it’s too far. The delivery texts boxes are also EMBARRASSINGLY bad. It wants to give you autogenerated answers when you’re typing in your apartment number so if you live at apartment #103 you only get enough time to type in “1” before it covers your text box with a list of options that aren’t your address. This feature is 100% useless.

My review says it all! 🪴🪴🪴. I’m not a heavy smoker! I’m a disabled Veteran with Kids and don’t smoke probably more than 5 times a year. I love going for rides on the weekends with my wife who just doesn’t use Marijuana of any form since high school. She appreciates when places let her ask questions because she is curious on lots of things and has read up on more than most people. Sometimes her questions are embarrassing because she doesn’t use it in any form but she always has opinions on things she has read about. The information on Leafly is her favorite because it has lots of different stats and things I might not even think about. Keep up the great work!

Was good. This app was my favorite to use and to me was the best and easiest to use to find local dispensaries, price match those dispensaries and look at the available products and the dispensaries daily deals. But ever since the update the majority of dispensaries in my area do not pop up on the map any more or under the list of dispensaries. I do not know why or what happened but it is rather annoying now that I have to go into the search bar and look for the dispensary by name and for some reason sometimes it finds the dispensary sometimes it’s like it doesn’t exist. Or on the map it’ll show the dispensary but give it another dispensaries name and picture.

Gates Opening for Open Trade. While many tend to take the lax approach some take time to open the world to alternative approaches for medicine. I would recommend to any and all for the up to date news and stock at the nearest dispensaries with deals, events and all else bud. Several of the features are next level legendary, such as “The Strain locator” feature and previously “The Review Board”. Super litty mobile app but with functionality issues. The mobile app and website aren’t cross compatible over device and issues continue arising within the congruency of a stores deals and there stores profile page. Seems to be an issue more so due to efficiency derived from greed and laziness, no offense meant here, in an industry that could use accurate and regular dispensary and/or distributor updates with “tested” product levels in every avenue of purchase. Hopefully Leafly can continue assisting with regulating for a better well being for all with focus on safely procuring approved products in “The Free Market”!

My saving grace for MM information. My husband and I have used this app 24/7 before we were separated. I used this app to help him find specific strains for certain ailments. He is a military vet and he’s been through too much pain and has had 3 shoulder surgeries in 2 years during his job working as a police officer. I would desperately use this app to find whatever he needed to help with chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, depression, and fatigue at times. I made it my prime number 1# job for myself to find this man the strain he needed to move forward every single day. Plus I used this to find myself medical marijuana strains for sleep and occasional Chronic pain as well. I still hold my fact that Medical Marijuana is made my Mother Earth and she is to be used when people are suffering. Also ! I’ve been noticing a lot of MM products for pets who suffer Arthritis and anxiety and I love it!! So many living beings on this earth deserve a natural medication it’s up to them how they use it responsibly. But I’m so grateful for the states that are on board with legalizing it.

Invisible Text. I love the Leafly website, but there’s a serious problem with your iPhone app. Text I enter in the app when searching on your site is completely invisible. This makes your app unusable, so I close it and simply access the site with a browser instead. The problem has nothing to do with my phone or settings, because this never happens with any other app. I really hope you will fix this soon, because I work as a budtender in a medical dispensary, and when I encounter a question I don’t know the answer to, your platform is indispensable to providing the best possible information and recommendations for our patients. A fully functional app would benof tremendous assistance for filling in those knowledge gaps when customers are on the floor.

Beautiful, intuitive redesign that will only get better with more data. I love Leafly’s redesign centered around very thoughtful visuals and testing data! I’m very much a data nerd and have been waiting for more data driven insights on marijuana. For me I find that terpenes are a much better way for me to find what strains work for me and the desired effects. The indica/Sativa labels aren’t very helpful to find what I’m looking for and I have always gravitated to specific terpenes, but often there is a lack of information on terpenes since it’s not widely understood and testing can be expensive. Now I have a tool to help guide me to finding the best strains for me. And the best part is, it’s only going to get better with more testing happening. My hope is that Leafly will help guide the industry to focus on terpene research/information and the community will follow. Thank you for all the research and thoughtfulness you’ve put into this redesign. Thanks to your designers and data folks! Keep it up!

Broke their own app. I’m so disappointed to have to write this review- while the original version of the app wasn’t perfect (for example, not being able to search exclusively for categories of products, especially clones and seeds), the app was generally easy to use and the mapping system/strain reviews were awesome. In the updated app, it is no longer easy to access dispensary menus, which may take more than one format (just today I’ve seen the app display both a menu reminiscent of the older version and a new version that fits the aesthetic of the rest of the current app, for two different dispensaries in the same city). Also, somehow, they managed to destroy the map functionality, which was a foundational piece of this app’s success. Additionally, now it’s impossible (from all the attempts I’ve made, anyway) to view user submitted strain reviews, leaving you just with a star rating and the tantalizing number of reviews that it’s not going to let you look at. Why?!?! Hopefully the developers bother to read recent reviews rather than resting on the laurels of their thousands of good reviews from the halcyon days of the old version. Really a shame.

So much info made simple. Love this app as a MM user. At local licensed dispensaries I got so overwhelmed with all the options and brands and names and flavors and strains and hybrids it’s too much! I got a mm card to help with my anxiety issues but just walking into a dispensary was a challenge. This app really brakes it all down. Want to chill? Get blackberry. Newbie? Be careful with these few. Want to focus on a task, Durban poison. Learning so much! Let’s u favorite what u like or want to check out, allows you add your own notes in addition to what is provided, and shows you where certain products are available in your area (however im not sure this part is super accurate but still helpful) Thanks so much Leafly!

Great service, garbage app. Seriously, I’ve kept quiet for long enough. This app is an absolute dumpster fire, worse than the website if that’s even possible. Sorting and filtering is completely broken, don’t even waste your time trying to find something using search or filters. Can’t order in the app. App is portrait orientation locked, even on an iPad. The updates section when viewing a dispensary on the website is not available anywhere in the app; deals than more often than not have no label under the images, scrolling between them is a 50/50 shot whether I’l you’ll side scroll to the next tab or the subsequent deals that you were looking for (and have to click through 12 BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO VISIBLE LABELS). The user experience is the absolute worst of any app installed on my devices, no doubt about it. Congratulations, if you wanted to make the worst app you possibly could, you’ve succeeded.

Why was Leafly created??. I can search a specific strain, grower or kind of anything on google yet a cannabis specific app you cannot! I figured it’s gotta be easier to search local products and where to go pick up the items i am wanting but nope. This app offers really nothing over a typical search in this case. Leafly is very hard to use, cannot search specific items regardless and instead left searching through effects and strain names which is just ignorant when you know what you want. I don’t even know what this app best suits because beginners will not know strain names and will be left searching and searching instead of just easily linking products to local shops. i mean i had to set up my location every single time i open the app. this is just a waste of peoples time with experience i feel. They really missed out on a good market opportunity with poor execution of the app and website.

New Update = Major Downgrade. It’s cool that Leafly is trying to get the average consumer to understand terpenes and canabanoids, but they majorly over-complicated this process through the whole “visual design” thing though. No longer is there a basic bar chart portraying the reported effects and flavors, which makes quickly identifying basic “I like” and “I don’t like” flavors and effects much more difficult to comprehend, even as someone who is very well versed in cannabis and the terpene effects that come from it. Especially frustrating is when I go to look up an “unknown” or less-known strain there is literally no information, other than reading through user reviews which can be incredibly helpful or just total junk. Overhaul is garbage that seems to be catered to those who like horoscopes and chakras, and need a weird visual identity to go with their weed choices...

Updated reviews. I really like this app a lot. It’s very on point and I can tell their writers are well educated on the subject of herbs. I just wished that they had more updated/recent reviews. Most reviews date back years. Starting to feel very outdated. I love the IG page! Those guys are definitely on it with their social media. This app can truly be a better resource if they would just update everything. The new look is great be you took away the graph that most of us relied on. The graph showed the level of happiness, sleepy... that was replaced with a non attractive bar that tells us absolutely nothing. Love the look please bring back what made this app so awesome in the 1st place.

I like the update but.... I like the update however I don’t like that I can’t just browse all the strains at once now, I have to pick a category and can then look at the cannabis for that category only. You should also have an option to just scroll through all the stains. Also it’s no longer easy to tell at a glance if a strain is indica, sativa or hybrid. Other then that, keep up the great work. With all the designer strains these days it can be hard to choose the one that's right for you. This app gives you useful information on the most popular medical strains available. Very nice pictures, THC and CBD analysis, grow data, read users comments and learn the positive and negative effects of each strain. This is a must have app for anyone with a medical card or people who just want more info about strains they come by.

Evan is a wealth of information!. We are from Tucson, AZ and when we were visiting Pendleton we wanted to get some sleeping edibles, cream for Leg Nerve pain and an Indica cartridge for my USB pipe. Luckily we happened upon Evan at the counter and he helped us pick out just what we needed! His parents are Librarians so I think he has a natural propensity to research; therefore, having a lot of knowledge about various products that will help the issues we described. I have a PhD in Computer Science so appreciate people that are not only knowledgeable, but helpful and engaging. Evan is very smart and educated and an asset to the owners and customers of Kind Leaf!

Love love love. I just started smoking this year and this app is like my bible for searching strains. I love the new update but have one complaint- I miss when you’d see the info on a strain, and it would show where it was nearby. They have seemed to remove this and it was a big plus for me when looking for strains. Now I search the strains and get all the info I need, but where I could get it close to me. I don’t know if they’re thinking about adding this back, but you really should!! It was such a help, like no idea how much.. because now I have to go into all the nearby dispensaries on the app and manually search for the strain and well let’s be honest.. I’m high most of the time and don’t have the time or am In the right state of mind to be able to do this. Other than that, I’m in love with everything that was done. I guess it was time for a makeover and y’all seemed to outdo yourselves. 5 stars for you! Being that this is the first review I’ve ever written in how many years?! Wow, I hope you guys actually read this!! That says a lot!

Good app, but needs better sales tax detail. Great app, probably THE app for marijuana dispensary shopping and cultivation strain information, so this gets a solid 4 stars. The one big omission is clearly displaying the FULL cost of the product at a point FAR earlier in transaction process. Point being, in states like IL, municipalities can assess different rates, and especially because different deliverables assess different taxes (vapes vs flower vs candies - all different tax rates). It’s pretty much impossible, frankly, to shop around different dispensaries in Illinois using this app, at least as of the January kick-off. However, it’s terrific for those of you who already have a favored store and are shopping around there.

Suggestions. This is a great app! However, I’ve noticed there is no tab for cartridges. I have to go to the website on my browser, but the website doesn’t have concentrates. Also, I think to really top this app off - add a “diary” section where we can write about the effects or whatever notes we want to put down. I don’t always want to write public reviews. I’ve created a note in my phone for all of it but it’s become SO long and hard to navigate. There are so many different strains coming out all the time, it’s hard to remember what I’ve bought, liked, and disliked. Sometimes the THC level or terpenes are slightly different with each batch as well, so I have different bullet points stating the levels of everything and the effects it had. It would be really neat to have all that in the app! That would give it 5stars for me!

A good app, but could use some improvements. Ive been using Leafly for years and Im thrilled to see dispensaries getting onboard for their ordering process. It makes it so much easier to shop as Leafly has the best strain encyclopedia out there so I no longer have to bounce between the app and whatever proprietary ordering process the shop might be using. I do think there could be some improvements, mainly in the user experience aspect. I would love if my sorting preferences (alphabetical, only certain categories of products) could be locked in so I don’t have to resort whenever I check my local shop’s page. Id also love if they implemented company pages for the different product companies, as many of them are small makers and itd be great to be able to look them up, especially when their strains dont have pages. Im much more likely to try an unknown strain if I can find a little info on the producer.

Industry worker concerns!. I usually use Weedmaps because of the consistency of THC/CBD READINGS. I’ve noticed I can’t see close ups of products and for some reason if there’s a THC reading it doubles and won’t show CBD but it will have the THC with the % on both sides not revealing CBD, unless there’s no THC readings. In that case it shows no reading on THC but also it will show CBD as well with no readings. I’ve looked through 4-5 dispensaries and same thing for all of them. I’ve been working on updating our menus in-store, Weedmaps and leafly throughly and throughout my work days along with my other receptionists. From the computer we use to update leafly isn’t reflecting the same info on the leafly app. What’s going on?! Customers mostly go by THC/CBD readings to determine if they want to come to our dispensaries. If it’s not giving accurate information how will future or existing customers know what they are going in for?

Reviews Are Boss. I don’t just like Leafly, I adore it. The Reviews tell you what you need to know in dispensaries filled with so much incredible choice! Blue Buddha Mother Of God, it is wonderful to read actual reviews from real live people high on more than only life to say. All these strains! Reminds me of fifty years ago when at Woodstock you’d hear and pass: “Lebanese Hash over here!” Across the road: “Real Nepal Temple Balls.” Helped that Old Pete Townsend kindly helped a 17 year old dude (Me) when for free the big heart gave two sugar cubes for my coffee. I tell you, it’s so true, rock stars get the best. That sugar was more than just sweet for the stomach. Oh my poor poor mind. Oh Lucy! All those Diamonds inside!.........

Massive Downgrade. This was a 5 star app (and website) for me prior to the latest “upgrade”. A few friends who were fans have a similar view of the new version - universally hated. I liked the simplicity of the old one to find a strain and at a glance see if it was a sativa, indica, or hybrid and scroll down for the effects most commonly experienced and the genetics. It was near perfect - EVERYTHING I wanted to know about a given strain at a quick glance - it was a brilliant design! I loved the bar chart for effects - at a glance is it good for sleep, or relaxing, or giggly! (Love that description!). Some strains get me a bit anxious so I avoid those that showed on the old bar chart view as having a lot of reported anxiety. I can’t even find this info for some strains now. There no way I’m going to memorize what each little shape and color means and try and figure it out. It don’t really care much about the terpenes, CBD levels, and individual reviews are pointless for me. Having more info on terpenes and cbd, etc is a benefit to some but seems like secondary info to drill down to with another click - same with individual reviews. Lead with a clear, simple summary of the strain - not marginally useful details / noise. In summary, Leafly went from an awesome, useful tool for making decisions on strains and informing me about strains to being of little to no use for me. Bummer...

Indica or Sativa? Update makes it nearly impossible to tell.. I’ve been using the app for four years, and as a medical patient, it’s always been my go-to to see what strains are currently offered at my local dispensary. Before the recent redesign of the app, every strain was categorized by color. Red for sativa, purple for indica, and green for hybrids. Now, every strain is green to match the new color scheme found throughout the app. I can no longer quickly discern what strain would work best for medication (sativas and sativa leaning hybrids for me) and which are not. Worse still, many strain descriptions lack any mention of the strains classification, leaving me having to use the filters to try to find strains that fit my needs. I won’t argue that the app looks much more modern and less early 2010s, but for whatever it gained in aesthetics, it’s lost everything for utility and simplicity. I sincerely hope that Leafly intends to reimplement the color coding system. Until then, finding the right medication has become much more difficult.

Research. I have been researching things since I was five years old. Armed with an inquisitive nature and an ability to read early I set out to get information at the local library. It was the only the beginning because I am still researching things at 63. So I wanted to let you know that I was very impressed with the well full of information you have accumulated in products and their uses I especially like that you cross reference it represents validity and your passion for what you do which allows me to place trust in your size. Keep the people in your organization that perpetuate good information to your customers/clients. It’s the key to understanding one another as human beings is the reason communication and information are required to perpetuate success. Keep everyone that’s rowing that boat it comes to port on time every time. Thanks Mr. Charlie

New version useless for finding strains locally. The previous version allowed users to search for a strain across all local dispensaries. If your search produced no results locally you could go back to the Home page, change your location and repeat your search there. That version deserved its 4-5 star rating. The new version provides useful graphics (diamonds for THC, circles for CBD) to help you choose a strain but won’t show you where to find it LOCALLY. Instead it shows all dispensaries in the USA with that strain but the results are not sorted by location! So you may find the strain you want but it’s across the country or in another state where your medical marijuana card is not valid.

Some trouble with layout , endless information. The save button for a strain is super small that you have to go back to like it multiple times so that you don't miss it . Would like to see a heart on top of the picture you can click , even when just scrolling through and not having to look on profile. Hard to find the list of strains that you have loved . Enjoy this feature but would like it to be more accessible or just as an option in either the bottom bar or side bar so you don't have to click multiple times to get to it . Doable , but hard to navigate through. Loads of information which enjoy and really enjoy the strains but categories ( anxiety, stress , social, etc. )

Form and Function...awesome app. I’m not much of a weedhead whatsoever, but I had been meaning to learn more in-depth about the different strains and their nuances. I stumbled onto Leafly the day I decided to do that...and I was engrossed for hours. The site and the app is so well-designed and efficient, I just flowed into more pertinent info the longer I stayed on it. And article introduced strains or chemicals, which led to breakdowns on those, which led to detailed user reviews and nearby locations and their menus, leading to interest in other strains...the circle kept going for hours. I don’t think there is a more complete app/site for learning and finding anything marijuana-based. This app is indispensable for me right now.

Curaleaf Long Island. If only there were zero stars. This is the third time that they simply did not fill an order after confirming it was received. Despite the fact that I provided them the order number and my name —they said the order was never placed. Yet, I have written confirmation that they received it. When I called to ask what happened , I was literally told it was my fault. Their system is , to paraphrase “infallible”. They were rude and sarcastic adding to the brutality of the horrible customer service. Service is so horrible that I have decided to report it to the State since who knows what really happens to these “lost orders”. I am sticking with Columbia Care Manhattan. Professional , fast and polite. Adding to the review—gave them another try since only place open. . This time tWhy confirmed and then cancelled the order. How do they survive?

App bugged out but I still love Leafly. I absolutely love Leafly! I work at a dispensary in Oregon and Leafly is essential for us. It allows customers to shop for products from their couch, office, hiking trails, the grocery store — wherever there’s internet service, they can decide on what they want to pick up from us. In the past, I’ve used Leafly mainly at work on my computer there, but I wanted to download it on my phone so I could leave my own reviews for products I try. I was a little disappointed when the app wouldn’t open. When I tap on the app, it briefly brings up the loading screen (white screen with the Leafly logo), but crashes/closes within 10 seconds, bringing me back to my home screen. I tried to troubleshoot this myself, but can’t find a way to make it work. I restarted my phone, reset my wifi, closed all apps and tried to open it, and made sure my iOS version was up to date. I am on iOS 12.4 on an iPhone X. Hopefully the developers can fix this bug soon! Luckily I can still use Leafly on my computer or my Safari browser on my phone, but I would love to dig into the app.

Leafly May Not Be The Best,But It’s The Best We Have ((PhatTommy Says)). Cannabis patients in Arizona (of which I am one) enjoy the very best Medical Cannabis choices of any state I know of. A minimum of regulatory state interference ensure potency, quality, and assortment from virtually all the Dispensaries I have visited. Having said that, the time and effort expended by LEAFLY on behalf of patients is the way that we all can fine the safe, powerful, and affordable medicines we all want. I would like to personally thank LEAFLY for enabling us to source all things Cannabis, whether it is the location of nearby Dispensaries, the latest medical updates, or a myriad of useful information. Once again, you, my friends, have every right to be proud of what you have done in the past, are doing now, and will do in the future. You are simply put, “THE BEST WE HAVE”. ((PhatTommy Says))

Used to be ok.... It’s getting worse with every update. It’s confusing for users when the app’s flow goes from a simple landing page with a simple search feature to... this mess with features that wander, a “home” screen that doesn’t feel like home at all... If you got back to your actual home tonight and found a huge useless image pasted to the front, would it still feel like home to you? Is it still “home” when someone moves the front door to the back, the garage to the second floor, and a (useful) search feature somewhere under the couch cushions? No! You naughty people. Next version? If this happens when I open the app, you win the universe: 1) A search bar is at the top of the screen, and it’s not completely dimwitted. It should handle strains and stores without additional taps. 2) I see a ribbon of *nearby* stores centered vertically and horizontally. I don’t mean “promoted” stores that are 50 miles away, but stores that are 50 yards away. I live 60 miles from a “nearby” and “promoted” store. Don’t show that. It’s just dumb. You’re not dumb, Leafly. There’s a reason I don’t use Weedmaps. Please keep that reason alive. Do chest compressions. Get machines that go beep. Throw your app in the Lazarus Pit from Arrow. Anything. Just bring your app back alive. With the changes I’m whining about. Ok thanks.

Best Cannabis app out there!!!!. Love this app have been with it since like 2009 or 2010 & still use since I need to find the 411 being that there is thousands of strains cross breed in last decade. There is still no other app I know with a catalog big like library of congress where all books are. Its perfect helps me choose strain to best fit my daily life. Since they are different the best way to distinguish between Sativa & indica or hybrid is looking at the buds, smelling, then finally taste. So i always check THC v CBD & trepene profile which all three interact to give u final result. Yes im a Cannabis enthusiast/ supporter specially medical for serious illness n then recreationally cuz dami near impossible to OD if you tried unless u have multiple things having u under the influence.

Bring back the old app. The new way of Looking up the THC CBD flavor and quality of the strain your looking for is not worth the hassle of memorizing what every different sign means (in order to figure out what you want to know you look a a wacky picture made out of shapes and based on the size of the shape and color it will tell you what type and if it’s more sativa or indica it use to be way simpler you look up your strain or look the the types between indica sativa and hybrids you didn’t have sit there with a key that tell you what the sign mean personally I don’t use the app every day but it was the only app I used to look up the type strain because you didn’t have to go the a bunch of different pictures to figure out what type of stain you had and what it was better for know what in anyway cause befor the would tell you the percentage of the THC or CBD not you get a picture of different size and color shapes bring the old app back please or fix the fact you don’t even tell us the percentage anymore

All the information you need in 1 place!. I am a patient in Pennsylvania. I was extremely naive about all things marijuana. A fellow patient suggested Leafly as a “home base”: a lot of information about everything. He was so right! The articles, blogs, information about the majority of strains out there, terpenes, and customer ratings and comments are all terrific. The reference page for medical and recreational use is my go to place before my trip to the dispensary. I love that I can research strains BEFORE I go to the dispensary so I can make decisions without my head spinning. I have entered my own ratings and comments for strains as I try them, like journaling. I don’t know what I would do without Leafly!

They love to break/redesign this app. I’m not sure why but for about as long as I’ve used this app there have been some modicum of failure when it comes to functionality. The latest of that is the fact that the search function seems to only work if you aren’t looking for dispensaries, if you search the name of any dispensary in my area, you can’t go to it from search. However the home page still allows me to click on the dispos they decide to feature, kind of annoying that despite years of this app being on the store there still is so much to be desired with the functionality and overall stability of the app. If the devs stopped redesigning the appearance of the app every three months, maybe they would be able to try and fix some of the incredibly annoying bugs like this and focus more on functionality.

A “Must Have”. I’ve only been using MM a little over a year now and wish I found this app sooner. I started consuming edibles at first because I didn’t know much about strains and never had the chance to talk to someone at the store because they were always busy. One day I decided to try smoking so picked a random strain for day/night. Some highs were awesome/ okay/ crap but if I had an app like this, I would’ve been able to narrow things down a lot quicker and pick strains based on the high I wanted to experience, along with other users personal feedback. I think many veteran users will also benefit from the wealth of knowledge available on each strain. All in all, 10 ⭐️’s

Terpenes are the future. I love that they are switching to a more science-based approach, but still have the old guidelines of Sativa/ Indica available for those that haven't quite yet bought in to the idea that there is actually a scientific explanation behind why different strains have different effects, and why 2 people can experience completely different feelings from the same joint. Only took about 10-20 years to get them to buy into Sativa/ Indica- hopefully it will take less for this evolution in thought. My only complaint is that I wish Apple would stop restricting some of the services this app offers on androids and desktop. It's 2020 Apple, get with the program already, sheesh!

Worlds worst nav app. Leafly may have a great database of dispensaries, but you’ll never find them with this mapping/navigation app. The witless developers who developed it didn’t see the need for a centering tool so that while looking at the map you cannot center your current location. When you first enter the map, your dot will be buried in the center beneath loads of pins. If you find it and can keep it great, but once you loose your location however, you have no choice but to exit the map and re-enter, starting your searching all over again, as there is no centering tool on it to find your current location. Also the button on the map to “search this area” is completely useless and 100% of the time says “nothing found” even if you are standing in front of a weed store. To see what’s in your area, again you must completely exit the map and reload it. Then it works. At other times the map becomes unresponsive and cannot zoom in or out. There I have the kill the app, you can’t even exit it. I found it far less frustrating to use Google maps which actually work. This poor experience was in LA. App deleted.

Biased dispensary reviews. This app is absolute crap. Whenever you check the dispensary’s reviews all you’ll find is positive and wonderful things people have to say. But in reality I have tried to submit over 3 times a 1 Star review regarding “Liberty Cannabis Dispensary” in Rockville Maryland. But because of this app’s “review process” for patients who have taken the time to sit down and write out a review about something , they have refused to show my review amongst the other 62 5 star reviews on this dispensary’s page. Why would you use an app like this ? Not to mention that the customer service has not answered to this as well - I have been ignored each and every time I reach out. It’s clear that the people running this app are just like the people running the dispensary’s - rich white people who want nothing but patient’s money and attention while not actually serving their needs.

Missing the mark :-(. I recently received my MM card and soon after I discovered your app. Amazing, informative accurate and true. EXCEPT you favor certain dispensaries over others. I try to research strains from other sizable producers not in your favor and you don’t list them. Quite frankly I find you guilty of not telling the WHOLE truth. Shame on you! You are working with a very special and need I say delicate subject. In my eyes I had you linked to the likes of the promoters of “Earth Day”. As far as I am concerned now that I see you choose to promote certain producers over others, I’ve seen you take a dive you head first into a pile of “shake”. Please be fair to all of our pioneers. Sincerely G. P.

Info cut off or not entered. Not sure whether this is the place for this—or if not, where that place is—but I figure this’ll get to the people who know where to direct it… In my area, several dispensaries/companies have multiple locations. They also have names that take up all of that field in the app/on the site, so you have to figure out which dispensary you’re looking for by name & mileage. Ex: “Sunnyside Medical Cannabis Disp…” (There are 4-5 of these in my area…) Often, the same goes for product. By the time you get through “Pharmacann/Matter 20-1…” the field is full, and there’s often little-to-no further info on the menu. I know this is, in part, the fault of the dispensaries who enter their menus (and their location names, probably). But I also have to assume that Leafly can give them more characters in the “location name” and “product name/description” fields, so that we consumers using Leafly can figure out what we want to buy, and from where… Generally, it’s a great app/site. We only started with MMJ recently—it’s a very different world than the high school/college market 35-40 years ago—and we’ve learned a lot from the articles & whatnot… But you can do better at helping us find the right strain from the right place…

First place I look. Leafly is my go to app. I’ve tried others that were recommended and they just don’t compare! Leafly is an amazing app, lots of information you won’t find on other apps or if you do- you really have to look for the information. I mainly use Leafly to research strains before I purchase them from my local dispensary -to make sure it’s going to help medically. It’s nice to read the reviews & I especially like that they include things like what the strain helps with, if the strain has negative effects, I like to know if it’s calming or energizing and I can look at the strains lineage. But there’s more to Leafly than what I use it for. Don’t waste your time with other apps, check out Leafly first, you’ll find everything you need there & sometimes you can get true/correct info on strains that aren’t listed anywhere else. I have so many great things to say about Leafly but not enough time to write about it.

Where are my pics?. Ok so I have really enjoyed becoming a part of this community-not too many complaints but where do my pics go, they aren’t attached to my reviews and it seems once they are uploaded they are not even able to be found again...have written two emails but just get generic responses, I even offered a reason once but was still vaguely talked into a circle and left more confused than before I had written the email... this would be the only reason I didn’t give this app 5 stars...I feel that, especially when using concentrate, a pic to accompany the review is extremely important for verification and what not...clarity, color, consistency, and all the other understanding you can gain from just looking at an extract’s visible characteristics....If nothing changes then I still love the app and give it a solid 4.7 with the only discrepancy I have being the fact that my pics aren’t connected to my reviews or me at all for that matter...just curious so let me know if you have any suggestions to remedy my situation-thank you for your professional attention regarding this matter...

I need the best weed and here’s why:. I have been struggling with epilepsy and a bipolar disorder my entire ie due to a dr mishandling forceps when I was a born and no one believes that smoking weed for 37 years has helped. Now this is a new century and things need to change because weed keeps my head in line and it’s way over priced for being a plant. Never once have I gotten sick or have of because of marijuana and now with it becoming legal I need exotic strains because pills kill hand herb heals and social security income isn’t enough money for something that helps me such a great deal and with it being a plant the prices are refocus in Chicago and I’m going to the drs office to have my dr fill out the information I need to help me get my card because, I don’t understand how to do it on my own. I started smoking weed at the age of 6 and I’ll be 44 in April. It’s been a long time to wait for legalization, that’s for sure. I’ve known this has helped me, even as a kid because I’ve tried almost everything else out there. I’ve just been waiting a long time for this but, I knew it would happen eventually.

Please change to the old GUI we hate this one. First off a huge fan of your app Leafly since day one. This is not to trash your app but to help you understand how bad your new app looks. It is too complicated with too much detail that we barely care about. I think only growers might benefit from something of that format but everyone who i have spoken with on reddit and in person hates the new look. It is too much information when the original look of the app was the way to go. It was simple the colors were nice on the eyes. The information of what you was looking for in a strain was a delight. For instance Having the bars indicate how much the amount of happiness or stress relieving qualities the brand had. This old look did not look like a science text book. The old version helped us understand what we wanted to buy and use. If this is any consultation please revert back to the old look and if not people will probably find an alternative that looks better and as complicated there’s a few online already. So please bring the original look back. We need that simple style GUI back. Thank you.

Does what it’s supposed to I guess. Recent updates have made this app worse. Haven’t seen the cartridges category all 2023, which is lame when my local dispensary has +100 different cartridges and is my main purchase. “Sort By” function has disappeared with the most recent update? Every single shopping experience I’ve had anywhere online has a sort by function so I don’t understand why they’d get rid of it. I’ve always had issues with getting my location accurate, but now it keeps it in one location, kind of making “nearby dispensaries” redundant. Heavily bias towards sponsors, to the point I have to manually search my local and only dispensary I search or go to, kind of makes nearby function redundant once again. Overall, Leafly does what it’s supposed to: provide a menu for a dispensary, which helps so much because my vision is too poor for browsing concentrates in person. User experience has gone down drastically with everything I’ve said above. The Leafly website is a much better experience, though formatting can be improved for small screen resolutions.

Location and Law Confusion. I live in Baltimore, Maryland.. I’m a medical marijuana patient and of course medical marijuana is legal in my state.. I am able to search the dispensaries best me, but if I click on a particular one, I get the error message “medical or recreational marijuana is not legal in your state, please contact your local representatives”, yet as I said it is in fact legal here... Leafly blamed the problem on that I’m an iPhone user however my location services are turned “on” and unlike issues with other apps, Apple and my carrier seem unaware it says issue.. Other than not being able to use the site to its full legal potential, I absolutely LOVE this site!!! For someone who’s been smoking awhile now but is really very naive to the “ifs, ands or buts”if marijuana, this site is amazing! It will tell you which strains are good for what purposes, what the qualities of said strain are (down to components of smell), which dispensaries near you sell it and how much even!

The new UI is awful.. The most important and most useful part of Leafly are the strain descriptions, which were formerly laid out in the app to be easy to locate and to read for immediate reference if the user is standing in a dispensary or something. The redesign depreciates this useful data in favor of nearly useless giant visual realizations of terpene profiles. Seriously. Then, after scrolling down to their new location, you find GIANT TEXT that first has to be expanded and then cannot be comfortably skimmed because it is ENORMOUS. The whole new UI is clunky, bulky, and totally unlike anything that might be appropriate for a reference app. I'm not one to commonly complain about change. It really is that bad, and that counterproductive. Please return the app to functionality before you lose me and I assume everyone else who actually needs this resource for practical purposes.

Logging me out. Been using this app for over a year going on two. I logged in and save every strain I experiment, but every. time. I get logged out when I go back in the app. I’ll login and it’ll run in the background, I’m fine. I close it, open it again, logs me out. I shouldn’t have to log in every time especially when I’m clicking the check mark for ‘keep me logged in,’ prior to logging into my account. It’s frustrating when I want to look at my strains, I know I can search them without being logged in but even the searching interaction is more than it needs to be. If I’m on the ‘strains’ tab and I click the search I don’t want to know about where different dispensaries are, I’m wanting to look up a strain! It’s just easy when I’m logged in and hit 2 buttons and every strain I saved is there. Strains> Favorites, done. Well I wrote this review months and months ago and I’m here again because of the same issue. I logged in on the database after being signed out, and it put me to the desktop site through the Leafly app, and I swipe down to go back on my app and I’m still not signed in.

UPDATE RUINED THIS APP!. The update ruined this app!! Where’s all the strain details gone!? Nothing works anymore. Why do the strains look like Battlestar Gallactica?

Very useful. Great app

App has lost its way. Used to be educational but now sold out.. This app has progressively gone downhill. I really loved the app a fee years back, but once canada went legal, the whole app flipped to be more about directing ppl toward the overpriced legal shops, vs staying true to cannabis education and cataloguing. Has become far too rigid. Strains we used to be able to find easily, and trace it’s lineage now seen to be unknown by the app unless it is sold in a registered shop. Hard to describe but a seemingly roots based app that catered to cannabis fans has lost it’s way and sold out. Sorry, wont be using this anymore. Hoping they bring it back to the basics, regardless of the new legal regime.

Terrible. Used to be able to search and find strain recommendations based on symptom. Really the only use this app had, now it’s just complete trash.

Legalization and Corporations ruined Leafly.. I remember when this app wasn't one massive advertisement. When it was chalk full of incredibly useful information and reviews. Now? It feels like the heart of the app was ripped out and replaced with a corporate robot heart. Also love the emphasis on terpenes, even though the app doesn't use the actual terpene names, or explain what the terpenes do.

Can’t search for strains on demand. Since the new update, this app is trash.... no I don’t want to kno “the coolest strains in my area” I want to search strains & their effects.... do better Leafly

I miss the old Leafly. Leafly used to be my go to app to look up strains and geek out about them but the new interface is baaaad I can’t even look up strains to geek out about anymore v disappointed :(

A wishlist would be great!. Please add a wishlist so we can keep track of strains we’d like to purchase! Otherwise, great app!

helpful!. i love using leafly to learn about all things cannabis - i’d love if there was a feature where you could add personal/private notes for different strains and/or save them in different categories for future reference/experimenting :)

Fix the Search Function!. The search function only works while you’re typing the strain in the search bar. As soon as you press ‘search’, all of the results disappear (the ‘Darn! No results found’ doesn’t even appear). This is incredibly frustrating as it’s habit to hit the search button, however, doing so just clears the results and wastes your time as you have to go back to typing and remove/add a character to get the results back.

Bad search tool. The site and content are good but the app’s search function is terrible and very frustrating to use. Doesn’t show search results that should otherwise show up (I.e. says “nothing found” even when the item exists and has a whole page of its own, such as a specific strain).

Search Bug takes you nowhere used to be a good app. Search takes you to the browser and it just does nothing please fix this.

Needs updated maps and dispensaries.. Great site for info. But they need to update thier maps option. And list of nearby stores.

No search function. Trying to find products nearby not articles. Just wanted to search something, find out which shops stocked it and compare prices. Have to select individual shops then search within the shop for the product over and over in a blind hit or miss search. Basic search functions should be in the app makers start up kit by now.

Refreshing?!. The latest update is only showing a small fraction of the cannabis stores in my area and on the home screen it keeps refreshing the screen every 10 seconds or so very annoying. please address this issue asap.

Great wealth of knowledge. There is a lot of great information here , my “ Amazon of bud”

cant see the menu items. haven’t been able to see the menu items for weeks

Great!. Great information!

I Love Leafly. I love Leafly, however, there’s one slight issue, you can’t actually search, or at least I can’t. Unless the strain comes up in the search bar, you won’t what you’re looking for, this makes it difficult to research strains on the go or in a hurry (which I understand isn’t necessarily the intention of the application) and can just create small annoyances. But other than that Leafly is the #1 source for cannabis information!!!!

Infuriating!!!. They have a “skip” option if you want to look at what they have before you sign up but it doesn’t work; you’re forced to sign up before they’ll show you anything & we all know what that means- they get to sell your email address & you end up getting tons of spam in your mailbox! No thanks!!

Bit buggy. But ok

Zero Stars.. USA ONLY. Very disappointed there’s nothing for Canada.

Searching issues. Search engine get confused by so many different aka strain names.

Broken App. The search functionality does not work whatsoever. Regardless of what i try. Gonna delete and never use again. Save yourself the time.

Useful. The app is great and helpful.

Vape/Edibles. Love this app!! It’s incredibly useful on the job and have made sales thanks to this app. However, it would be helpful if there was information on vape cartridges and edibles.

Missing functionality from website & missed opportunities. I have used their website a couple of times before, and really appreciated the “best bud quiz” to match effects (positive & negative) with selected strains. Not only is this functionality seemingly unavailable, I had hoped that there would be the option to fill out said quiz and be presented with “best match” strains available locally.

Bonne application. Le seul problème avec l’app c’est qu’elle n’est pas disponible au Québec je dois donc modifier ma localisation.

Love it; needs work. I lovee what this app has going for it so far but the index of strains, stores, terpenes, etc is insufficient. The weed industry is booming nationally in many countries at the moment; new strains, new stores. Work on finding a system to register these necessities in your database in a relative and timely manner. Many strains are quickly interbred and forgotten so new information is essential if you want your company to be successful. But this app is beautifully laid out is easy to use, so there is a really good foundation here

Okay. Often says a strain is available nearby and you click on that and not available nearby. Too hit and miss.

Good. It is good!

Found Nomade Toronto. Love this app. I found my favourite store Nomade in Toronto to buy my weed

Update. The newest update an layout is awful. It’s incredibly inaccurate and half of the effects are not right. The original layout was better with the bars. I wish it would go back, I felt was much more accurate all around.

Filtres de recherche. Il serait bien si on pouvait l’avoir aussi en français. Dans le filtre de recherche, pouvoir choisir les variétés seulement CBD ou seulement THC. Merci !

Best weed app ever. Ever time I get weed I always look it up on Leafly and it always gives what I’m looking for

Please fix the web browser and include everything in the app. I love the user interface of this app, but I’m so confused about the point of the internal web browser. I ordered product from a shop and they sent me a message, but the app opened leafly.com brought me to a sign in page, even though I was logged in on the app the whole time. After I signed in i was faced with the desktop version of leafly. It would make the userability of this app so much better if every function was included in the app. You honestly might as well use leafly on safari instead of downloading the app.

Garbage. Search doesn’t work. New way to shop (shop by turpenes) STILL doesn’t work. Come on now…. This app is garbage

Searching bug. I enjoyed the app until the day I was not able anymore to use the search tool to find specifics strains. I hope it’s gonna be fix soon. I use the web site for now to find what I’m looking for.

Useless app. What the point of adding our favorite strain when you can see our favorite strain. Lack of utility! Dont donwload go on web site.

Worthwhile But Remains Limited. I like what the app is currently able to do, however in order for me to give a ‘5 out of 5’ - it needs to do more than is currently the case. Living in downtown Edmonton, the app is decent for: giving me a sense of the effects typically experienced from one strain to the next; informing me of where I might find a product (which nearby store, etc.) The issue is simply that: strain detail inventory is lacking (there are many strains of cannabis which are not currently included in the app’s guide), as well as product availability - as not all stores, in the least, are included by the app (so when searching to find where a product can be purchased, Canacabana is there but not Nova Cannabis or Fire and Flower, etc. App is decent but hasn’t achieved a state of completion as lacking crucial information at this point.

Search Freezing. Completely unable to use search function

Great app!!!. Only thing I’d suggest, would be some how vetting the pictures of strains. 5 differnt pictures of a strain, all 5 will look like different flower. Supposedly the same strain. I understand dif growers, diff nute, diff set up, diff pheno. But there’s gotta be a way to get consistent pictures of each strain.

Useless. Better info on the internet better deals on the internet

Ruined all functionality. Sell out?, suddenly you can’t search for strains or use the app as it was intended but hey here’s the stores in your area. Like I couldn’t check their websites.

It says I’m not old enough? IM EFFING 32!!. My DOB is in 1991, yet this garbage app says I’m not old enough in Canada? This is some straight up trash.

Terrible search functionality. Typing will produce a list of strains or searches with the terms in the list but if you don’t select one of the suggestions the app will not return anything but a blank page. It’s been Iike this for years so quite unlikely these clowns will do anything to rectify it

One issue. The “all strains” filter doesn’t seem to work as it just shows the same top plants whenever I change filters.

Vibe. Love Leafly Excellent app very diverse and much to explore. Great for shopping or just browsing and reading articles kinda thing too.

Item menu. Almost all store locations now when you go to a store there isn’t anything in the menu area just a message saying there is no items in the menu fix it

5 stars. Leafly is my go to web site for medical marijuana information and trending issues. Wouldn't know what to do without my trusty Leafly mobile app.

The Future of EQ. Emotional intelligence will experience a revolution in all of us. This app is not only stunning, but has been ready for the next phase of human intelligence elevated by Earth’s gifts. The app isn’t a strong with inventory accuracy or dispensary location as I would like but it’s advantage over WeedMaps is finding what you what by strain. Needs some work though. Explore within the app is magic! I think Explore needs a bigger emphasis. I love this app. I always have. Looks way better than other Strain finders.

Doesn’t get any better than this folks. As an adult that has specific tastes and symptoms I have to say Leafly can’t be beaten. Incredibly easy to use interface and search criteria from “whatever’s close” to “I need a wax concentrate that’s 85/15 Sativa/Indica blend that will settle my stomach and won’t make me drowsy or trigger my anxiety”. Hard to imagine it really hasn’t been all that long since black market was the only option for seekers of this miraculous plant and it’s seemingly endless reliefs. What a time to be alive!

Why change. If I could give no stars I would. But this update is horrible on the app. The older version was so much better it gave you the feel on the flower be before going and buying at the dispensary. You took that all away. I enjoyed see the reviews of the flower and the comments that people left about it before buying it for my self, when it told you what kinda taste you would get smoking the flower. Also how it told you what each stran was good for. Why fix something that isn’t broken! Please go back to how the app was.

My go-to resource for strain and effect info. As a newcomer to medical use, I appreciate the Leafly platform for its help in parsing strains. It helps me understand what I’m getting when I decide to smoke, how to better gauge edible dosages, and occasionally has some fun/practical hacks in video or blog posts. Additionally, a feature of the mobile app is that it tells you where to acquire the stuff you’re looking up, if it’s available within 50 miles. This is cool for when I’m ready to buy more meds, and in my experience, the info is accurate as far as the dispensary actually having the strains.

Why fix it if ain’t broke?. A year ago this app what at the top of its game... primetime fun for when you want to search for cannabis strains of all effects and dislikes of the taste the feeling the terpenes... god this app was a stoners little library for looking at all the weed strains under the sun until one day. The update hit, and it all went downhill. No more looking at 100s of strains in 3 taps just a bunch of pictures that try to appeal to some Starbucks drinking scarf wearing d0uche that knows nothing about weed. The tabs I can choose from read “energetic” “happy” “calm” and that’s it?? That’s all I can choose from?! Then they give me the same like 50 most popular strains in all the lists available. Yea idk how many times u guys need to tell me sour d and blue dream are energizing okay... gimme some variation some, pazzaz like you did a year ago, ah?

The new look and feel. Leafly recently changed its look and feel to a more sophisticated style and I think it was a mistake. I feel that they took an easy to use, functional, and fun environment and made it less “at-a-glance”. They removed the meter lines from the effects buckets for crowd sourced big data scores which will confuse many people (especially stoners). The snowflake patterns are ugly and unnecessary. Not sure why you would take something friendly and functional and alienate an audience that has enjoyed your app since inception... but what do I know? I’m just a marketing director...

Good. Really great for finding nearby dispensaries as well as ordering online. However, a recent update had an interesting change. Before the update, Leafly would show you what terpenes are in a specific strain (assuming they have that info) but now it just shows "peppery" "citrus" and other flavor descriptors. I get that a lot of people care more about the flavor of their product, but I really enjoyed being able to see the specific terpenes in a strain as they are what really determine the effects of a strain.

Private review is broken. I downloaded the app for iOS because I wanted something to keep track of what strains I like and why I like them but the private review feature is broken. I searched for a strain and found it. I saved it in my favorites. I went back to the strain in my favorites and I wrote a review and made it private. I go to reviews tab and I see the review and part of the description but everything else about this process is buggy. There shouldn’t be voting buttons and I should be able to click on the review and go to a dedicated edit personal review page to review edit and save. It looks like the app tried to do a copy and paste hack with private vs public reviews. Clicking the review just brings me to a summary page that is blank and looks half public review. I emailed support with screen shots but the ticket was immediately closed. Hope this review helps to get this fixed because there are not many apps to choose from with the same database of strains and private review feature.

Frustrated. We ordered some gron blackberry pearls from the Sherwood dispensary and got an Order confirmation then a txt message telling us it was ready for pickup. We drove over to get our purchase and we were told they didn’t have any of that flavor and hadn’t had any at all in the case today. I was pleased to see that things could be ordered then picked up at a time that was easy for us but not if the drive is wasted and the products are not even available. Very very disappointing. The young man behind the counter apologized many times. It wasn’t his fault. He said he would try to find out why it was sent out as order ready when it clearly was not.

LET USERS CHOSE IF THEY WANT THE OLD DESIGN. Long time user, first review. This app is wonderful for information on products and strains that is usually not readily available for research and I love it for that reason. However, I can’t say I’m a fan of the new app layout and design. Although it is beautifully done and free of major bugs. I feel that there are too many features that are not being used and also features in the old design I would like to see come back. For example, I enjoyed browsing the “new strains” page and reading all the names of crops coming out all over the world. TLDR; new design is beautiful but I miss the ease and some features of the old app

Update Ruined Things. I don’t know who is Leafly’s quality assurance engineers are but they definitely missed a lot of bugs in this new update. After Leafly updated to a new design language their app is riddled with bugs. I can click on a strain review from search but can’t find the same strain when I search explicitly for the strain. Also it opens me up to reviews for GDP when I pick Sour Diesel. So dumb. Will be uninstalling in favor of a more wholistic experience. If Leafly needs QA engineers who are not morons they should contact me.

The updated version is horrible. I used to love this app. It was quick and easy to find out if the strain you’re looking for is indica, sativa, or hybrid. It was very easy to find the effects, medical uses, and downsides. But now the app has become very complex and it’s hard to even know what you’re looking at. I absolutely hate the new version. The old version was much simpler and easy to navigate. Everyone I know hates the new version also. Fix it. Go back to the normal version. I barely use this app anymore because of the update. The old version was much superior and I, along with many other people, are very disappointed.

Simplified and attentive. I had my initial visit today and it could not have been any smoother. I was nervous because I honestly never thought I’d be a cannabis patient. Tom, the attendant, was able to address each of my concerns and needs with ease while making sure I understood what I was getting and why. If you’re unsure or even just a fan of efficiency, this is the place for you. All the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

Support is terrible. I used to love this app and I regularly read the news and look for different strains and who might have those strains nearby. But God help you if you have a problem. The feedback support is amazingly bad. I can't tell if they are really that incompetent or if they are trying to delay until a new update is available. Again, they changed something in the app and broke it again. Support isn't smart enough to try this on their own mobile device. They actually sent me a screen shot of what the "Find" screen should show...after I had sent them a screen shot of the same screen although it was significantly different (enough that it caused a problem). Like I can change that as a user! Totally incompetent!

Leafly Review. From my own personal experience and from the information that this site has along with the resources provided from Leafly I really like how you are able to read the different criteria of diagnoses and from that are able to research the different strains and methods in order to find what works best for you. I'm sure there are many other sites with resources available and more in the process of being created. But this one in particular is really helpful.

Who is designing your app??!?!?. The search bar for the strains has to be COMPLETELY CORRECT which is frustrating cause some stores have them spelled differently, like chem dawg and chem dog, peanut butter breath and peanut butter breath??? Frustrating. Also when you look up “ best strains for lounging around” on google Leafly pops up and when you click it, re directs you to the app and does NOT pull up the think. Overall, it doesn’t take much to make your app more user friendly, a little too much style over substance. It wouldn’t hurt to list the type of high on each strain in the overview, I mean do growers really use this app!? I wouldn’t think so, I would say it’s people going in and out if dispensaries looking for vendors with strain specific remedies. My two cents as a veteran in the cannabis ind and consumer customer base.

Awesome app!. I really appreciate the time and effort yal poured into making this app. It’s extremely helpful when you travel to new towns and it shows you places by locations, also I really enjoy being able to surf through peoples items and menus right from the app and I can locate specific strains and items I’m looking for. And the icing on the cake is all the information yal provide on strains and and the effects and medics benefits! Keep up the good work and I’ll keep on using the app lol👍🏼

Wish it functioned more like website. This is an awesome app, especially for information about various strains. I just wish it allowed filtering for locations like the website. True, I open a strain, I can see where it’s available locally. However, because our market has just opened up this last November (and not every dispensary is on the app or website [yet?]), most strains are not available and that means lots of disappointment and frustration. Could we have that filtering function ahead of checking out a strain, the way it works on the website? That would be so awesome, please.

I love this place!!!!!!!!. I recently got my cannabis card and this was the first dispensary I checked out. I love love love the customer service. The bud tenders ( especially Gin) is amazing she explains everything to me the chemical breakdown, she gives me her recommendations and I never feel pressured to buy anything. I have recently visited other dispensaries and there is a slight difference in prices but I’ll take a slightly difference over bad customer service.( like I experienced at another place) Thankyou guys!!!

Great Place. I would rate this dispensary 5/5 however the bud quality varies. Some strains I've gotten have been really dry so ask how the buds are before you pay. Also, twice I have been given the wrong strain when I asked for a particular strain and didn't realize it until I got home. Just confirm the strain before you pay as well. Overall, friendly service and pretty quick even when busy. Most you wait is maybe 10min? Which to me isn't bad since most doctors make you wait over an hours. The prices are pretty good, and they have many deals per day. :)

Great app for intel. Not having any sort of clue about Marijuana, this app has helped me tremendously! For someone who has had no previous experience or knowledge about marijuana or it’s benefits, this is the app to download. I’m recently new to this treatment for neuropathy and it has led me to a better idea on what strain to use. Here in Florida we don’t have half of the strains on this site, but the ones we do have are for the most part, listed. If it’s your first time for Pot, go for Maui Wowie and Do Si Do’s. You will be happy you did.

Why did you remove this feature?. A couple years back you guys had, for each strain, the main 3 terpenes in order of prominence in almost every strain listed on the app. It was the best thing about Leafly and why I loved using it so much. I took a break but when I returned I was shocked to see all of that terpene info was gone and now it makes it very difficult for me using the app to figure out the most likely main terpenes in whichever strain I’m smoking on. Super super super helpful information, just wondering why you guys took it out of the app

Best App Ever!. I don’t typically write reviews on apps, more because of time than anything. However I use and promote Leafly religiously! If I need information on a strain, or to find my nearest shop, this app is my go to. One of the greatest option is reading what others think about a strain and how it effects them. I find myself interested in what others thought, so I can find exactly what I’m looking for. The options of being able to pick what “mood” and what strains work best is one of my favorite options included in this app. Keep up the amazing work Leafly, this customer loves you!!!!

Feature request!. I would give a five star review- I love this app!! But, I really think it would be great if you guys expanded the search feature with the ability to search by reported effects. For example- my mom has cancer, and has lost a lot of weight, she’s found a strain that really helps her sleep and helps with pain. But she hates the paranoia that comes with some strains. The ability to search for a strain that is known to increase hunger, but is not associated with paranoia would be so useful!!

Love the app, one thing could be better tho.. The app is perfect, it helps me located local dispensary’s and gives me all the options with the prices and so on, BUT I wish that the app would allow you to look at all the details of the strain and it’s reviews when looking at it from the dispensaries page on the app, so if you were to see a strain you’re not familiar with you can click and learn about it from there vs having to back out of their page and then look it up. Other that that. 5/5

Strain Comparison!!!. Great app, very functional for looking at menus (if dispensaries take the time to enter products correctly) and checking out the potential effects of strains. BUT, I have been waiting years for a strain comparison option/button. If they were to add a feature, allowing me to see strains side by side and actually compare a few different flowers across one screen. instead of searching for each strain multiple times to compare potential effects, lineages and strain descriptions, this app would deserve all the stars in the world!

Why make such a change?. You used to be able to use this app from anywhere; now if you happen to be out of state in a place it hasn’t been legalized, you can’t use the app, at least unregistered to look at shops, prices, etc. it’s a shame and I’ll delete it now as I travel a lot for work and if I’m on the road I’d like to make plans for my return entertainment. I like to try new flavors and different shops, and there are enough of them there is no way I will do it without a handy app. I’ll use other ones from now on, it’s crazy they are joining in on the limits of liberty. That is why I write in such a serious tone; what would it hurt someone in a state it’s not legal doing research on the app? Big brother says being informed is bad news I suppose. Well, everyone have a great day!

Curaleaf on the strip is my second home. You know when it comes to the best in town you have to go to Curaleaf you have to check in with Bree and Jeremy or Lamar♥️ i’ve been going there since they opened up and they have treated me like a queen they’re made every visit a pleasant visit it is like going into your family home will always be my ultimate favorite place and I love them three I’m bringing in your banana bread pretty soon so go visit make some new family you’ll be happy that you did🥰😇🥰

Update ruined the app. This app was really good until they started removing all the features from it and forcing you to go to their website. I don’t know why this was changed, perhaps they make more ad revenue if you go directly to their website versus getting ad revenue they would have to split with Apple if you use the app. Not being able to see dispensary deals, order pickup, and other key features make the app pointless to have now. Why would I download this app if half of the features aren’t even available any more? I really hope they bring everything back, I’m probably going to uninstall Leafy until it’s actually worth taking up space on my phone.

Needs Tailored Content. The app works great from a tech perspective. That said the default home screen should be much more customizable or smart to learn or display through my own choice things that interest me. I followed my favorite store but that affected nothing on the app layout. I expected that once I follow a store it would be first in the list but it is not. Showing me strains I cannot change and have no interest in. Just a lot of wasted potential on the home screen to have a very tailored to me experience. Instead it’s always the same and generic.

User interface is terrible!. Very useful app and good information, but absolute crap to navigate. Sometimes it’s bad on the PC, but it’s the worst on the iPads. Listings cut off with no way to scroll or expand, if you dare look at or for a review from a menu, good luck trying to get back to where you were. Also, having to leave the page to see a simple star rating? Why bother with a sort feature when the database is so wonky? Some of this falls on the dispensaries for shoddy entries, but some uniformity would really help. Your interface is next to impossible on iPad mini. Invest in some usability tests, please!

Very cumbersome. Early version of the app worked very well. Easy to look for products, easy to search for where something was in stock and research prices. Successive versions have gotten more complicated, more extraneous trivia to have to wade through (vs easily bypass) to try and accomplish same tasks. Site non intuitive, for instance can’t click on a strain and find out where it is or compare prices. Site does work well to provide lot of useful educational features, kind of like a mobile High Times magazine. But in their efforts to make it bigger and better it’s really slipped as a convenient shopping aide. Unfortunately it’s mostly all that’s around. Maybe one of these days they’ll hopefully figure out how to simplify the basics…

Pros and Cons. I like that you can search what illness you are trying to find a strain for, rather than just having to look through all the strains and then read their effects. But I wish there was a way to filter the app to only show strains available in my area. I also wish I could filter to only see certain dispensaries. Location is also pretty inaccurate in the app. It shows that the closest dispensary to me is one that’s about 30 minutes away, but I live by 3 that are within a 10 minute drive. These are listed as further away from me in the app.

Idiot nerds. Your app is ridiculous. All this fancy (read: annoyingly unnecessary—seriously, you want me to learn a color coding scheme?? Fire your project manager) information about different strains in the strain overview and no link to locations on the page so I can go get some after I’m all mesmerized? Oh, but if I search for a strain and hit return instead of tapping on the search suggestion there’s a location option...that shows me an endless list of dispensaries >>2500<< MILES AWAY. Geniuses. You don’t have your basics down and your wasting your efforts on teenager level “game changer” features. Just, so bad. This is an all around problem for the canna industry. I swear it’s run by 18-year-olds. Or maybe everyone is just working $t0ne-duh.

Trulieve. I love the people, they are very kind & helpful,it’s a pleasure to visit these stores. Products & prices are great , love the deals & I totally appreciate them. I have only one complaint (I know,I’m sorry) but the containers are terrible for a person with arthritis they are hard to open & hard to get product out of , prefer the snap tops much easier to work with, just felt like someone should know. Other than this issue I love Trulieve & will continue going there .

Horrible UI. App used to be good. After new layout, it’s consistently getting worse. For example, the current search flow is an abomination ! Can’t get back to search. Search now is not available everywhere , even when It was, it was specific to page you were on. Search results are often wrong, or hard to get keywords right, or categorization is wonky. Search for Gogi OG, get strain page with back arrow; click on arrow and get blank page with search filled in ! Ive hated the starburst patterns since they were released - too complicated for this kind of app. This app is a master class for what not to do with information architecture, design, and usability. Please get rid of the current team and start over

Was great but.... *update. *update - I found the link to report to leafly, they replied next day to inform me that they are already in the process of solving the issue & that it will be corrected in the next update. Ap was great, no complaints, but now for some reason the top of the ap is higher than mine screen so I cannot see the search bar or anything. Please fix this! Wanted to message leafly but couldn’t locate any way to contact them so they get a review instead.

Cant review on app. I can close this app and open it over and over, and it still won’t let me hit “submit” for a review, which is a bummer mainly because some places give you a discount when you post a review. I’ve missed out on two so far because I couldn’t just post a review right then. Kind of crappy if you ask me. Definitely uninstalling. Edit: and now, for the third time I’ve been let down by Leafly. I just wrote a review on my laptop to get the discount, and what a surprise, Leafly has to approve the review (Leafly approving its own reviews is just slightly biased). So now, even though I’ve finally been able to post something, I can’t use it. Let go of a little control, you guys.

Great app needs some improvements though. Love this app for the info it provides. With all that is out there now, it would be impossible to keep up with without this app. The only bad thing I can point out is that you need more of the filter and search options from the website. Which would make it easier to concentrate results down to the ones you really want. Other than that keep up with the awesome reference app.

Rkymtndeb. Great “Medical Cannabis” app! I live with post cancer chemotherapy nerve pain that, at times is, debilitating. This app gives me the ability to hear from other patients and their experience with the massive amount of strains that are out there for the myriad of symptoms and ailments. This can be overwhelming to a new user/patient. The reviews have been so helpful in choosing the right strain for my particular issues! I use Leafly in tandem with the dispensaries site to get more personal reviews about each strain! Keep up the good work and thanks for the help in choosing the right strains for me. 🤗

Terrible User Experience (UX). This is coming from a computer programmer... For how much Leafly is trying todo, it has terrible UX: Takes way to long to figure out how to do *anything*. I can’t even determine if a shop has recreational and not just medical. I can’t view shops on a map. I have to go to Home just to exit out of a search. Prices and current stock at shops is useless - they are usually inaccurate in some way - it’s better not to have a feature like that when the quality is so bad, because it makes leafly look bad. Maybe in the future Leafly will be better - but seems that currently the legal MJ industry is still too new for Leafly to be profitable enough make a better app.

Where is the Cartridge tab on the Deals page go?. One day the “cartridge” tab on the Deals page disappeared. It still shows all the others, “accessories, concentrates, edible, flower, other, pre roll, topical” but no cartridge tab. It used to be there and I have waited multiple app updates, but it has never come back. Since it went away on the app, have been using the web page version, where there still is an option to select cartridge, but recently that has become glitchy and unreliable. You click “cartridge deals” on the webpage now and most of what it shows is not on sale. It’s very frustrating. Please bring back “cartridge deals” on your app. For some of us, this is our primary method of use.

Completely useless unless you want to read about what the country is doing about marijuana. Seriously though? I thought this app was going to be helpful… but it’s absolutely NOT. Leafly likes to tell me about deals at the dispensaries around Cincinnati, the problem, however is that MOST OF THESE DEALS DON’T ACTUALLY EXIST! I’ve been in contact with 3 of the 4 actual dispensaries (because yep, Leafly has apparently decided that CBD-only places are dispensaries?!?) because of this incorrect information and they’re complaining to Leafly as well! The only positive thing that Leafly does is keep you UTD on pot in the news, other than that and their strain description I wouldn’t waste my time downloading it.

Informative yet glitchy. I’ve learned a lot from this app. Reading user reviews can be very helpful when researching the best medical strains in my area. I’ve enjoyed the articles and educational information. The iPhone app itself is pretty glitchy (yes, I have the most recent version). For example, I can never get the thumbs up to mark a review as helpful to work. I just entered a long review and saved and nothing happened and I lost everything I wrote. There are just more clicks required to access information than more recent apps. Hopefully in future updates it’ll be easier to navigate. Happy medicating!

What happened?. Still a great resource but they over analyzed the strain search option, I like the filter system way more than this forced list of a few strains. Plus I don’t have “anxiety” like everyone else I have panic disorder which takes a stronger dose than general anxiety disorder. It used to be that I could put in exactly what I want from a strain and get pretty close, now I just have a selection of like 8 strains that do well but if those aren’t available in my area I have no way to filter what is and isn’t. Just bring the filter back, aesthetic is way less important to consumers than functionality.

Awesome app. I stopped smoking for 15 years cause I joined the military. A friend suggested I start smoking again to help me with my issues from being in the military. I wanted to research since I hadn't smoked in years and your app was suggested to me. I love how easy it is to use this app. It is VERY VERY informative and I love how it breaks down the effects of the strains and what ones are good for certain things. Weed has come a long ways since I smoked 15 years ago lol so hats off for a great easy and simple user friendly app. Stay lifted my friends.

It’s a great app, but. It’s really a great app. The breakdown of the cannabinoids of every strain on their app and the effects and the taste etc. it’s so much better than any other weed app and more informative with true information. I don’t know where the picture of the strains have gone. I do miss that. Also, there needs to be a way for a member can add a strain to the app. Y’all don’t have devil’s lemon up on it and that strain is amazeoballs! I never had it till tonight, but I think I found a new favorite of mine, next to fruity pebbles and Jedi mind trick.

New updated version is horrible. Ive been using leafly for years now and have always loved the format. Ive suggested the app to countless friends, family, and complete strangers. The recent update is horrible. Its complete overkill. It has watered down the app and flooded it with unneeded information/functions. The simple list of strains that I loved searching through has become complicated in an over the top grouping that isn't needed. Leafly has also created “flowers” that they are using to describe elements of taste, aroma, indica vs sativa. I wonder if they took into account color blind people like myself. To summarize they took an app that was functionally perfect and ruined it by dressing it up and complicating things in order to look flashy. If it aint broke don't fix it. I have deleted the app and will be using and suggesting Wikileaf from here on.

Leafly for life❣️. I have used leafly for all of my cannabis education as I have doses myself naturally through bipolar depression and mania. This has saved my life during the opioid crisis beginning. I am not addicted to benzodiazepines or stronger bipolar meds. I am now almost 60 and my best friend from 5th grade has been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and needs my help. Luckily I have leafly to be able to dose her for her needs as well. It is life or death for me. It is quality of life for her. It is medical for us both. Thank you leafly for helping me live and have quality of life.

Out of date deals!!!. OK I don’t know if it’s the dispensaries not paying their bills on time but when you look for daily deals on a Tuesday you shouldn’t see 3 to 4 dispensaries still showing there weekend deals and no updates!!! from my knowledge most dispensaries have a weekly rotation of deals it can’t be that hard to keep up with !!!I love this site as far as education you cannot beat it but if you’re asking a true consumer we want to see up-to-date daily deals and if the dispensaries are even willing to give you a list of holiday/ seasonal deals Thanks
