Jury is out on this. My barber told me about this great app that he uses to go all over the world. He told me that if you have flexibility on everything- departure, return, even destination- you can find some amazing deals. I downloaded immediately and it's not as easy as he made it out to be. I'm constantly on the help page to utilize this wonderful 'flexibility' feature (I'm still not convinced it's working) and see lots of comments from users not at all happy with the latest upgrade- this is what my barber had described to me. It is not that different from orbitz, travelocity, etc. I feel that I missed the boat.

Beware of booking via SmartFares!. As the title warns, DO NOT book via SmartFares. They are a massive scam and will charge you more than the price quoted which you won’t discover until after the payment is processed. I was charged for a flexible ticket which was an additional $70 on a plane ticket that was only $79rt! Fortunately, I used my credit card which will refund and dispute directly with the scammers. They do worse things than that which you can discover by searching Google for reviews. Skyscanner, I am a backpacker. I don’t have time to sort through scamming sites on your site. Your service has been great up until now. Please block them from your airfare results so that others can book with ease and not be scammed like so many who’ve booked before me and will continue to until you remove them from your platform.

Travel2be. Worst company ever and this stupid app won’t help. I booked the flight, I got travel insurance and the flight time changed. Called to get help and waited 4hrs for help. They pretended to help and then after saying they could change it, changed their minds and said I had to cxl. So I went to the flight insurance company and they said that they aren’t the ones I get a refund with. I have to go back to travel2be and they said they don’t do refunds and will also charge me $30 to cxl even though they don’t actually cxl the flight and the flight insurance does but who is the flight insurance if not who is listed on my flight insurance? Drop this app!!! Don’t use it! They are no good.

Only app I book flights with. Words can’t explain how much I love this app, if I could I would hug all the developers!! I have booked over 20 flights with this app in the past year and can’t even begin to think how much I save using this app. I love it’s everywhere function and have discovered so many new places because of it!! While this app hasn’t changed my life, it’s sure added an element of excitement to it, and saved me LOADS of cash!! Thanks Skyscanner ❤️❤️

Crap. This is the 2nd time I use the app and purchase tickets through United. When you get tickets with United airlines there is a difference between economy and basic economy. Biiigggg difference. I thought I chose the right one second time around but nope confirmed with United it’ basic economy. I now have to pay for a CARRY ON, when all it says in this app is economy. It doesn’t tell you if it’s basic or not when searching. Things like this should be included because it becomes a hassle later on. Thanks a lot !

Very bad experience with Skyscanner.. Yesterday, I have booked rerun trip to Jordan using one of their agent told Travelgenio. Because I used to travel using Skyscanner application since long, I was no under intention because I thought this organization is sheeting their customer and they are protecting them from any miss behavior. Any way, I went through all details being provided and reviewed all details however, every thing went fine completed with final payment. Later on when I received notification of tickets been issued, I have noticed that the luggage been given for me and my family are o kilograms. I was then very angry and I have sent many emails to Travelgenio and requested them any contact no. to reach them however, without any response from their end. I went direct to the airline to sort the issue with and reach to any conclusion however, what they offered me is costing me double of cost all tickets to gather. In addition, I understand that Travelgenio is charged me 50 % of all tickets where I understood then why this happened and what Travelgenio is did to get what they want ignorant the trust they need to build with customers. I acknowledged it is my mistake and from today onward I will delete Skyscanner and Travelgenio app from my phone forever.

Changed so much. Can't see price listing.. I've been using this app for over 6 years. It used to guve me the price of flights in 2 different ways as a bar graph or numbers under the dates. I no longer have any of those options. I have to choose my dates and hope I chose dates with low prices. There are no prices listed for me to compare the best dates to go. It's very frustrating. I've also been using Google flights because the fights are cheaper on there. Skyscanner used to have the cheapest flights I'd ever seen. It was amazing. But for the past year it's been absolutely ridiculous and high. I hope you guys bring back the price view options. It's very frustrating.

One issue. STOP PROMOTING HOP2!!! Just stop. My boss booked tickets and tickets were fine then there was a charge of 3 person airfare going to Houston. Fraudulent charge. This is an ongoing issue with the company. If you look at travel boards this is a common occurrence with as soon as you book a ticket, there are fraudulent charges after. This company has also been reported to the BBB. Otherwise, I love the app. I have booked 7 international flights. Some with 3rd party some through the airline. It is my go to app, but for the love of **** get hop2 off your site.

Beware- Do Not book using this app. Skyscanner has great tools for finding multi-city flights (limited to 5) for travel with a variety of airline carriers. When booking, Skyscanner uses their independent “partners” who take your money and provide poor service. At that point Skyscanner is gone & users must communicate with the assigned partner. In my case, partner Jetabroad provided a bogus confirmation number that does not work & my flight bookings still do not appear on Skyscanner 10 days later! No possible way to contact either party & resolve without valid conf number. Hopefully others will consider my terrible experience & Skyscanner will be out of business soon.

Love this app. Only 2 reasons why I can’t give it 5 stars: I wish it had finer grained control over notifications (I want to see if a flight I’m interested changes, I can’t stand random notifications asking if I’m “still interested 👀”), and also, I can’t seem to find a way to set a watch from the app. If I set up a watch on desktop, I get notifications for price changes, but if I save a flight on the mobile app, no notifications, and appears under “saved” instead of “watching.” Maybe I’m missing something somewhere, but if so, wish it was easier to find.

Rip off. I made a reservation for a trip 3 months in advance and paid for it upfront. A couple of weeks later I called back to make changes to it. Due to changes outside of my wonderful, the wedding I am attending changed venues. I called to make changes to my reservation. Not only was I reminded that my reservation was nonrefundable, but when I tried to change the destination of it I was being charged over $1500. It was explained to me that this was the total fo change penalties, plus the fare difference on the new destination. I checked the fares to the new destination before I called and they were cheaper than my original destination so I am not sure how they came up with this number!

Go to App to search flights. Skyscanner is TRULY my go to App for looking up & booking flights. You can search for a flight and if you are undecided just “save” it and come back later. See whether the price dropped or increased on that route. You can also “set a price alert”, so I have already set my alerts for 9 months in advance and monitor when cheap flights come up for upcoming holiday trips. It's easy to use, easy to navigate. Its' simple design and clean graphics make the information clear and straightforward. It scans multiple airlines and seems to offer better pricing for flights and connections than some of its rivals.

Lost the best part. I’m also disappointed with the changes to the “explore” portion of the app. That is the main reason I used this app over any other airfare app. Being able to pick a destination and have the app tell me all the cheapest dates to travel to that destination, was extremely helpful for a flexible traveler like myself. Now the app fills in one set of random dates for that destination, and I can no longer explore and compare different dates without having to type in each date, look at price, change date, look at price, change date, look at price, etc... PLEASE update the app to have the explore option how it used to be. It really set this app above the rest being able to explore different locations or dates based on what is cheapest at the time. It was so helpful when I don’t have a specific destination or specific time frame I want to travel, I just know I want to go somewhere and have it be as cheap as possible. I’m not sure I have use for the app without that feature.

Priceline has better deals unfortunately. Initially I got great deals through this app. That’s how they lure you in. I have used it now for 2 years and I can honestly say this with confidence. The first 2 flights I booked I got great deals! I literally got 2 round trip tickets for $40 each traveling to different locations. That was within months of each other. After that the luck was gone and I have never had such a deal since. It’s been about a year and a half and I have yet to buy another flight using this app. I spend lots of time comparing flights and you can get better deals on Priceline after your 2 “lucky” flights. This app usually has the highest prices compared to any of the others out there. Use for your first 2 flights then delete it!! It’s not worth it. Download Priceline and thank me later!! ;) Also the new version has started linking to third party websites once you get to the dates and flight you want. The third party sites are screechy to say the least. Once you choose the flights you want the price increases and you can’t get back to the original price. This was once a great app but has now lost all cool points. I haven’t used it in a year and a half since I’m finding the best deals on Priceline or going straight to the business site for rental cars. Once you buy your flight through Priceline they will send you codes for better deals on cars/hotels. Thank me later ;)

Worst App Ever. My wife booked a flexible airfare through Skyscanner, and paying more, just in case we needed to change dates. As it turns out we do need to and Skyscanner denies any responsibility saying they are only a search engine, our tickets are actually with Tripsta, and we need to deal directly with them. I’ve called both Athens, Greece and Auckland, New Zealand, and messaged them several times, all with no success. Now I’ve been told they are in reorganization and we are authorized to deal directly with Japan Airlines, who say it’s not their problem and won’t even discuss with us any changes. As I have to stay several more months in Thailand I will be forced to forfeit my return flight, and the money involved, all due to “Skyscammer”! This is outrageous, a total ripoff, and I would suggest that no one ever book through this company again.

Best flight app. This is my all time favorite flight finder app. I rely on it and I swear by it. I’ve been using this app for a very long time, maybe 8 years or more. It is easy to use, to create alerts and save trips. You can get as many or as little updates as you want. People are always amazed when I tell them what I paid to fly. I also love the option of fly anywhere so I can just pick a place to go based on the price.

Skyscanner review. My Skyscanner App is NOT letting me pick separate flights to complete my round trip!! It’s NOT helpful at all to present both outbound and inbound as a take it or leave option. Can’t stay with you guys if this doesn’t change!! Hey, Guys!! I got a response from you on my Apple phone asking me to further qualify my response here. So here goes! Simply put, give the customer the choice to pick individual flights for both outgoing and incoming flights in order to complete the roundtrip flight. You can’t do that now on this App. You offer just a complete roundtrip trip, take it or leave package, that doesn’t allow for time choices and preferences. Many of the other flight apps offer individual flights for both ways that makes it much easier to choose from!! Thank You!!

Anytime & anywhere feature is back!!. UPDATE: you changed it back! Must’ve been doing A/B testing or something and I got in the unlucky group. Back to 5 stars! . Latest update killed off the best part of the app. When you select “explore anywhere/anytime” it gives you a list of prices to several locations, but then no longer brings you to those flights. If I see a $99 flight to Denver for example (after using the anytime/anywhere criteria) I used to be able to click on it and see the exact dates that $99 flight was for & then browse other dates with low prices to that destination. Now, I’m brought to an info page on the city with a button to “find flight deals” and the date is arbitrarily filled in and it’s not even the date with the cheapest prices. Please go back to the previous version! I would honestly use that feature to find my next destination! Just find a cheap flight to someplace I hadn’t been to without having to spend hours browsing and looking for a good deal.

Great app for finding cheap flights - wish notifications were better. I use this app to find the best prices for flights and it’s great. I love that I can subscribe to flights and be alerted when the price changes. However I get too many silly notifications because any change triggers the notice. For example - I get notified when the price changes by $1 which is a waste of my attention. In addition if I subscribe to more than one flight the notification becomes generic and I have to open the app to see which flight changed. I wish I could control the limits of my notifications (like only tell me when the price drops by more than $30, etc) and that notifications were more clear - especially when subscribing to more than one flight. Keep up the great work! This app is powerful.

Shady travel agencies it recommends!!!. Nothing wrong with the app itself. The problem lies with the shady travel agencies it suggests - a lot of them operating from either Eastern Europe or India. And that’s for regardless where the flights are to and from. I am never going to use this site or app again after having had several issues with the travel agencies it recommended while purchasing ticket. When the call is routed to Eastern Europe you know that any changes to the ticket whether airlines charges or not they want hefty change fees. And if the it’s an Indian agency they want to “verify” your credit card even after the ticket issuance by having to divulge credit card and passport info again (usually by sending actual pictures of the stuff) - archaic and obnoxious!!! Screw this - buy from the airline site directly - prices are lower or at worst the same - who need this app!!!

Love it, but a couple issues. This app is amazing in so many ways. The amount of features is insane. There are just a couple of small things though. Sometimes when selecting filters for how many stops, it won’t let you scroll down to actually select anything. That ones small, but one I come across often is lack of pricing. I’ll be under the everywhere tab for a certain month and it won’t show any flights. I feel like it just shouldn’t show the country if there aren’t any flights. Anyway, great app.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Check SkyScanner first every time!. I was hating to book Southwest Air with a 3 day notice from LAS to SMF(Sacramento) when the twin grands are born cuz it’s around $300 each way. Ugh... Driving is 9 hrs and $200+ for just gas! Ugh... I saw Sky Scanner in my apps so I took a minute to peek. I’m so glad I did! It showed me Frontier flew that route nonstop daily for $30-$40 each way. Today I booked Round Trip tix for an 8 PM to 9:30 PM flight in 3 days for only $71 including all tax and fees! Checked bag- not needed by me - is $30 each way extra. Wow! Wow! Wow! I saved $530 because I looked! I can’t wait to meet the new grandkids! I’LL CHECK SKY SCANNER FIRST EVERY TIME I TRAVEL FROM NOW ON!

The mobile app issues. The “anywhere” option for exploring is great, but if I use “anywhere” and it says a destination is $12 for a one way trip, two errors occur. 1. There is never an option that matches the advertised cost even on the IPad version which is less glitchy. It’s always significantly more. There are never filters turned on. 2. When searching one way trips on the iPhone app, it always shows round trip options for the same day. Regardless how many times I reboot the app or check to make sure it is updated, the one way tab doesn’t work

This is how I (we) roll!!!. I have been using sky scanner for a very long time! Been traveling across the globe - America, Europe and Asia and I’ve always use sky scanner to find cheap flights! Recently we traveled all over Europe (8 countries) but to get there, I found a round trip ticket from US to Switzerland for $550 a piece for a peaked season! From there the 4 of us, hubby and my 2 kids went around summer time and spent country hopping for 3 weeks! Keep checking! Keep looking! You’ll find the right price for you!!! Good luck traveler!

Minefield app.. This app is great at the outset, and gets steadily worse as you proceed. I advise all users to screenshot often, particularly when you encounter difficulties. Ryan in particular doesn’t offer any support, would be surprised if any sellers did. The screenshots will help resolve disputes about check in, via credit cards, which is the number one problem. You can request a refund for the extra fees, which you will have.

Explore Feature is never accurate. Using Explore was the highlight of using this app for me. However, now that I’m searching for flights to Spain this summer, if I “Explore” this location, it shows me a series of longer duration flights around 450, but when I tap on it, it’s nearly double in the 800s, an entirely different price. It does this for nearly any location and date. Overall I’m very disappointed with the inaccuracy of prices; it’s deemed to be nearly useless unless I’d rather search it date by date instead. With this in mind, I hope the developers will consider shining a light on this issue and improve the searching feature.

Trash. App is super trash. Prices are SUPER inconsistent. I once saw a $4 ticket to Cancun. FELT LIKE CLICKBAIT. When you do find low fares, the availability or connection wait times are god-awful. I once saw a connection wait time of 30 hrs for a 2 hour flight. Are you transporting me on someone's back(with paper wings attached to their hands)? So let me tell you about the price chart: don't use it. It's there for asthetic pleasures. Bet the developers are padding each other for that one. App is so bad not even Jesus would use it. Use Hopper instead(this review has been paid for by the false hopes of many poor suckers) Use app at your own risk 🤬🤬🤬

Used to work now it doesn’t. Setting price alerts is one of the main features on this app but when I set a price alert in the mobile app they do not appear in the “my trips” section to be able to go back and view them. Defeats the whole point of the app as it was one of the main reasons I used it. Still works for the most part to find cheapest flights but no good for monitoring the price fluctuations. Update: There is no option for “help support” in the app. There is a “support” button and within that a “find help” button that takes me to a webpage where I can search the apps website for answers to FAQs

Low rating carrier and unknown sites. I am disappointed with Skyscanner because I actually never got a flight through the app. Also, the carrier in the search results are frontier and spirit. These carriers do not add seating or baggage prices to their total price. Their goal is to provide options for their guests. This would not apply to me. Also they both are known to have late arrivals and departures time with poor customer service. In addition, there are booking site most people are not familiar and thorough research has to be done before booking. Skyscanner is not an app for last minute trips. Trips need to be planned in weeks or months in advance. Lastly, I do not like the calendar or chart feature. It display a cheaper flight price than what the results display. Hope the review helps.

2nd review...just as bad as the first. Initially a 1 star review bcz everything I tried to look up for flights from Oregon to California would only show up in a different country currency...no matter what I set my acct or preferences to....Made zero sense! Fast forward a few days and I get an email from Skyscanner about how to fix that...although the app had already fixed itself by then, so I’m assuming it was a glitch occurring on the particular day I was trying it out... (shrug, don’t know) However their email did get me thinking about tickets again, Tuesday’s being a good day to buy tickets and such. So I did a search and every single flight this app finds is anywhere from $40-$220 MORE than what I am seeing right now on my desktop computer when I look at American or Southwest or Alaska Airlines websites... So again, back to poor stars and I still see zero use in the app at all. I have no idea how other people think this is a great concept unless maybe it only actually saves money on flights to other countries cuz it DEFINITELY doesn’t save anything within the US/short distance travel. That also would explain why most of the airline company options are all overseas type companies.... Why not just change the name of the app to something that represents Discounting Overseas Travel??

I guess new update created annoying changes. Love the app. Always my go to until now. Now when ever i search it gives me top 3 options and says click here for the rest of the results. Once you click it it doesnt carry over the search inputs. I have to reinput the TO location and the date and one way. Extremely annoying. Its like having to do the same search twice. Also sometimes the date changes to an arbitrary date. Luckily i caught the date change before i booked the flight

Incorrect or deliberately false. No idea. Three days I got quotes and immediately tried to book. The prices suddenly shot up al three days by the same amount. I guess their data from the airlines is inaccurate or they are deliberately posting false information. I travel the world. I need reliable prices where i can immediately book and get confirmation. When I tried to complain they ask you to wait 7 days. Obviously works for some people on some airlines, but maybe they need more or in Asia, or maybe integrity training. THREE days of false information. Sorry better apps out there. I usually only write good reviews but was so disappointed and felt so cheated thought i should share. Be prepared of prices increases in a matter of seconds.

How I have travelled the world!. Updated review from 2017: I'm sure I sound like I'm being a tad dramatic, but this app is literally life-changing! With its help I have successfully visited over 17 countries across Europe and Asia. My most recent trip was to Thailand for a little over $500 round trip. Thank you, Skyscanner for making continued world exploration possible ❤️ Original review from 2014: I am 23 and with the help of sky scanner have been blessed to be able to travel! Milan Italy round trip for $800? You're joking! Iceland for $99 bucks?! This app has literally changed my life.

**They do not take responsibility for the companies they partner with. I lost over $100!!. I booked a flight through SkyScanner for Vayama airlines to get a flight in the Spring bc I had to move. Vayama charged my credit card but never sent me my flight information, ticket or confirmation. No one from Vayama has reached out to me to this day about my multiple complaints. I reached out to SkyScanner to ask for a refund and they REFUSED to even give me a credit or any kind of compensation. They would not take responsibility and said it was my own liability to book with one of their partners. I told them then that they shouldn’t be promoting companies that are taking money without giving them the plane ticket promised, and AGAIN SkyScanner said it was not their problem. Disgusting...

BEST APP EVER. No I do not work for Skyscanner, but I might as well because I tell EVERYONE about this awesome app! I have used it so much over the past few years, especially for international travel. I flew back and forth from the U.S. to Europe over 10+ times in the past several years only because of the dirt cheap price options on the app and NOWHERE else. I could have never had that amazing, unique experience that I will never forget, if it weren’t for Skyscanner. Right now I’m looking at trips to Japan from the U.S. on the app and seeing some really amazing price options, which prompted me writing this. I’m only going there because of this app and making it affordable to me. Helping me live life. USE THIS APP! Thank you to the people of Skyscanner who make this app possible. LET’S GO TOKYO!

This WAS a very good tool for travelers.. Recently I’ve noticed that the link between SkyScanner App (on my iPhone) and the third party car rental vendor (I.e. CarRental8) has been broken. You see very low prices offered by CarRental8, but when you click to go to their site and complete the reservation the destination doesn’t have your search criteria (date, location,...). Worst part is; when you re-enter the SAME criteria you will get a MUCH higher rate from the vendor. It’s a total waste of time.

Great app, but needs work with some accessibility features for Voiceover users. Great and useful app. It has a lot of different airlines available to you, including Jet Blue, Spirit, Frontier, United, Delta, American, etc. that I've seen so far. I'm not sure if they have Alaska as I haven't looked at enough flights to fully be aware. The things Ive noticed, though, in terms of accessibility are with the calendar, and also with looking at further flight details. The date of departture and arrival get lost a bit, and it's not entirely intuitive when you're trying to sort out what's what. When you're entering in departure and returning dates, the months are labeled, but the actual days are blank buttons. It's doable since you can just count in your head, but it's a little irritating. That said, plenty of other airline apps are way worse with their calendar accessibility. So, that said, this isn't horrible. When you're booking a one way flight, though, Voiceover responds beautifully to the calendar and suddenly reads the numbers and days of the week on the calendar. Bizarre, but I'm not complaining. Just wish it could also be sorted for the round trip calendars.

The ONLY flight app I use to travel. I LOVE Skyscanner, it is the most efficient, user friendly, and advanced, flight app out there, and has been for years. The way it lets you see prices for individual days, has literally saved me thousands of dollars over past several years. I wish more people knew about it. I promote it to all of my friends and family, and now it’s all they use too. Thank you so much for such a wonderful app, I love it so much.

Used to be great. This used to be my only travel app and I travel constantly. However, I tried to book a flight yesterday and was directed to a third party website for purchase. I then got an email from skyscanner saying that company needed more information. The company also sent me an email saying I had to call them to verify my credit card. I was skeptical but did so and answered some questions. I then got a message that my credit card couldn’t be verified and the transaction was declined. So I rebooked using a different credit card and also got a message that the card had to be verified. I have an excellent credit card and the bank says there is no reason for them to be doing this and there are no problems with the card. I will be looking for a different app now.

Use to love. I use to love this app. It use to let you book your flights with the actual airline that the plane tickets are being purchased from. Now it use some third party website. Some site I’ve never heard of before. I will continue to check flight prices with this app, but I will not buy a ticket unless it’s through the airline. That way you want get any of gotcha cost when you arrive for your flight.

Missing a few needed features. With the advent of “Economy Basic,” there needs to be a filter option for it. Too often I get the end of my search and am about to book, only to realize it’s Economy Light/Basic and have no way to change the cabin. Additionally, I really want the ability to select my flight there and *then* select my return flight. Enough of this scrolling through to find the exact combination you want. This is made even more difficult by the filter only allowing you choose to “leave after” a certain time from your departure city. What if I want to leave *before* a certain time? That needs to be added in.

Needs a bit of improvement. Skyscanner is a really good app to use for flights, but i dont like some things of this. The flights they show are not always THE cheapest, you can still find aome cheap deals before that and what i mostly dont like is how that when we select a date from the charts if says that the cheapest flight is of $300 but when we go to select a flight it is no where near $300 but its triple the price so it is like clickbait that the chart tells another price and we get something else. That is really confusing and frustrating. I hope this gets fixed or the problem gets solved.

Dependable Site. We have been using Skyskanner for years, to book our flights, hotels and rental cars. They are our go to site for domestic and overseas flights. We have booked multiple extended flight itineraries with them and have never had any issues. The site is very dependable and 95% of the time the flight, rental car or hotel will be available at a very reduced rate compared to going directly to the airlines, car rental place or hotel.

Important feature removed ? Why. This has been my GO TO app for years of flights and all the good points are well documented by reviewers already BUT I’m not happy with flight details being removed! Previously when you saw a flight that was a possibility, you could click on ‘Details’ and see connection stops; layover times and aircraft types. Now aircraft types have been removed. This is a very bad move as frequent flyers need to / want to see that information. I will not buy a ticket unless I see what type of aircraft is allocated to that service on that date (never).

Super Awesome. I’ve been using Skyscanner for many years! I love it because I can search most airlines at once and find the best combination of travel dates to save money by day, week, month, and year. We used Skyscanner recently for our trip to Australia and New Zealand because I found a super cheap time to fly for our family and changed our previous destinations. The search functionality by month and year is particularly useful when you are not stuck in flying a certain time of year or day and just looking for cheapest travel times. We LOVE Skyscanner!

Love the ability to look for “anywhere” trips but…. It would be even better if I could save certain settings for the initial search. Specifically, there are certain airlines that I refuse to fly. Of course, whenever I see a great deal, it is usually for one of those airlines (cough, spirit, cough). Any chance there could be an update to the app that would allow for that? A way to save favorite airlines? That way I don’t get my hopes up when I see a super cheap flight that will just add on the fees AND give terrible service.

Took my money.. I don’t even know how to express this. I tried booking a flight on skyscanner and it shows the airline so I know they tried to book it on spirit airlines. I tried paying for the flights and it kept telling me to refresh the page that the ticket is no longer available. I did it 4 times until I gave up on this ridiculous app. I went to spirit directly and tried to pay and they said insufficient funds. So now I have 2 flights paid for under skyscanner with no email no proof that I bought a ticket. I called spirit airlines they said they have no card number no name or email of mine to show it was booked. Where is my money skyscanner ? This is literally an ongoing issue literally right now. Worst of all there is no phone number to call skyscanner the emails say to contact the airline. Did you guys just rob me ?!! I’m furious I need to get back into the states and this is what you guys do to me.

The bait and switch, switch.... Up until this year (wait, Kayak beat out Skyscanner in September when I booked a trip to New Zealand), Skyscanner was my go-to for finding discount flights. A few years ago, I stopped using Momondo because it would advertise flights for one price, THEN raise the price AFTER you input your credit card information. Skyscanner isn’t that bad, but for the last month, every time I’ve checked a price for the EXACT same flight for the EXACT same date, it advertises the same “bait” price, then after clicking on the adjacent link, the price doubles, then triples. Not sure why you’d advertise a one-way flight for $254 FOR A MONTH, but then increase it to $720. Shouldn’t you stop the BS bait price on the unpteenth search? Should I blame the cookies? And you must realize that customers can actually search a plane’s seat availability, so the claims that the seats are limited is tired, not just dishonest. So, way to go, Skyscanner. You’re just as useless as Momondo now.

Inaccurate flight prices. I like to use the “explore” option from my closest airports. We are flexible with travel dates so this feature helps save money on tickets...theoretically. However, 9 times out of 10 the price is substantially higher than what is reported when you select those dates. For instance, when ‘exploring’ travel deals out of LAX it says tix to Rome are $360 for 2 weeks at the end of August. Awesome! Yay!! I select those dates and wait for the itineraries to load. The cheapest price is $604. Wait, what?! This has started happening so often I’ve reverted back to using good ol’ Google Flights.

Dumb. I looked up flights under the "explore" section. I saw all these inexpensive prices for the select dates that the app provided but then when I click on the price to explore what flights were available for that price there was always nothing available for the price that they advertise. I'm assuming the inexpensive flights were sold out but if that is the case, don't advertise them as if they are available. I used the "back space" button to go back to the previous page because I thought maybe I just saw the price incorrectly but I didn't. Everytime I went to the original page that showed all the available inexpensive prices, the price increased every single time and the inexpensive price that was originally advertised was gone.

The insanity knows no bounds. You’re in the business of price comparison & cheap flights. Amid all your woke PR fluff today about sustainability, typefaces & color schemes, there’s no mention of the core reason people use your app and book through you. Jets burn fuel, and no amount of rebranding or pious virtue-signalling is going to change that fact. It’s like a butcher extolling the virtues of being vegan while selling me a side of beef. Give me better functionality & greater savings & a less bloated app size, not an in-app re-educative lecture on your personal world views that - ironically - don’t align with how you gain the lions share of your revenue.

Best app for planning flights at the best prices. I use this brilliant app frequently but tend to worry about the reliability of the booking agents the app refers you to. Often I'll plan a trip using Skyscanner but make the booking through a travel agent or direct with the airline. Suggestion: allow users to rate the quality of service they received from the recommended booking agents. BYOJet and I'm sure many others are excellent booking agents.

Love skyscanner. I have been using sky scanner as a research tool and found it very useful when planning get my trips both here in Australia and abroad. I used it several times while I was in Europe and again was delighted with the service provided. I would recommend all travellers to install and use it. Great App

Really really irritating. Have been trying to search and book Bangalore to Singapore. Keep on getting nil results. Really? I’ve just downloaded Mormondo. Same search. Many flights to choose from. Skyscanner always used to work. Recent upgrades have made it a dud.

Can edit searches or unfollow prices/flights. I don’t know if it’s a bug in the new version, but I don’t want to keep following certain prices or flights and they’re always there, there’s no option to delete them. Also, I wanted to unsubscribe from some of the flights im following, and even tho there’s a button to “unsubscribe”, it doesn’t work and the flights remain there.

App needs MUCH better control over its agents. You can click on a flight that’s shows 1 figure and by the time you have booked with the agent, the figure can change by hundreds of dollars. It also seems a bit strange that refreshing your flight details that can be 6+ months out suddenly shows a higher price in an effort to hurry you into your purchase. I like this app but it feels like more of a scam each time I use it. Your also 100% up the creek if you get ANY of your details wrong, expect agents to charge you absolutely unrealistic prices to make any kind of amendments. My most recent mistake had me call the agent 30 minutes after a $800 booking and I was told it would cost the same amount to change the flight dates.

Impractical layover gap. It’s good to be able to compare. My concern is the layover for some flights are so tight that whether it is doable! I greatly appreciate Skyscanner qualify the logic of the recommendations. Would Skyscanner be liable for our missing flights if we buy as you suggested, we miss the flight due to the tight layover which turn out to be impractical and impossible sometimes, especially if the connecting flights require changing terminals!!

SkyScammer. This one is for everyone one who is planning to get this app to book their planned holiday through this scammer. Please do yourself a favour and don't get a ticket through them and go to your local travel agent who you can reach out to. Me and my wife had planned a holiday for this December and booked our tickets through one of SkyScammer agents months ago. First, they sent us an itinerary after we made the full payment of $4300 and we were all excited. And a month after they contacted us and informed us that the airline has cancelled the flight and asked us to choose an alternative date, which we agree to. But they haven't sent us an itinerary for the changed flight. Things got even worse when we contacted them for 3-4 weeks every second day that if you guys can send us an e-ticket for our peace of mind. But they keep saying same thing over and over again that we will receive one in 24 hours to 48 hours which we never received one and we kept chasing them for weeks. And yesterday I decided to call them and once again asked for my e-ticket and in reply, they said that they spoke to Singapore Airline and the airline want us to make another payment of $3200 on top of $4300 which we reject their scammy offer and asked for a refund. Which we not are not sure of if we getting our money back. So please kindly request to all of you, don't book your ticket through this SkyScammer.

Sky scanner great in conjunction with travel agent. I use Skyscanner routinely, but hardly ever for actual bookings. As the site warns, hidden charges from airlines and airports can creep up, so that sorting and choosing flights by best price often doesn’t work so well. It’s good to use if you have the time to start playing with itineraries; but at some point I make the decision to hand over to the travel agent. This can include general or detailed information gained from Skyscanner.

Excellent App. I have been using Skyscanner for years and I can’t find any other app that can beat it. Very easy to use, flexible flights, secure bookings, and best of all cheap flights! Customer service is brilliant. I am having issues with bravofly and the customer service provided by skyscanners is superb. Person by the name of minsun has outstanding customer service skills. Good app but dodgy sites. Have used a couple of times to buy tickets and thankfully all was ok but had a few issues with the booking companies that are linked to Skyscanner. Recent reviews on the booking companies are little short of appalling with many travelers losing money or being left high and dry away from home. Skyscanner needs to fully guarantee and underwrite any bookings made through their app. Prices vary significantly, often way less than the airline direct and got to wonder why this is so?

Prices differ too much. The prices that initially show on a Skyscanner search are continuously hiked up by last-minute fees added on by the third party. Other flight booking services now allow you to input your payment method and can warn you of these charges prior to clicking on the flight booking, whereas Skyscanner is yet to implement anything like this, despite ever-constant updates. I got sick and tired of getting right to the very end of a payment form and having an extra 5-10% added on to the advertised price. Times are changing. Up your game, Skyscanner.

Excellent app. Love that you can choose an “Everywhere” option if you don’t know where you want to go and need to be provided with some cheap options. Also, allowing you to select airlines and remove them from your search i is a fantastic feature.

Change tickets. Their customer service is on high level other then other sights due to some circumstances I want to change my return ticket and since last 3 days I was trying to change my ticket but yesterday one of their employer josheph help me with that he spent almost 1 and half hour with me and somehow he issued me a new flight ticket without and extra charges always recommended thier sight to book your tickets and specaially thanks to that guy josheph that he helped me for my ticket

Great search engine but not always accurate. I always search flights using Skyscanner to get an idea of prices and routes. Really useful and powerful tool. However, I don’t always book through the third party agents, as often the prices are inaccurate and there are hidden fees. Even if the prices are a little more expensive, I usually prefer to book directly through the airline because the airlines often provide a greater choice of seats and extras (without an additional fee) and provide more assistance if there are schedule changes or cancellations.

Great Prices and Destinations comparison. Easy to use to compare prices and destinations. Only down side is if It directed to third parties websites, some of those websites are showing low ratings and poor reviews. Perhaps customers is offer a to pay insurance to ensure to cover issue and problems

Good and bad. I booked our flights and lucky I printed out my itinerary because the airline said I had spelt the names wrong and it didn’t match our passport from there screen and were charging us 200 dollars to change each name which there were 4 of us travelling, I then pulled out the itinerary I had printed from my email and said no our spelt all correctly showing them proof, they then said will let you go this time but don’t ever go through them again, again I had the same problem on our return of our holiday, but I still kept and showed our itinerary, it has also happened a few times with other family of ours but they had to pay extra as they didn’t have there itinerary print outs on them which was a shame😒

The update ruined the app. I used this app for all my trips in the past. Ever since the latest update this app simply does not work anymore. I find flights, fill in all my details and get right to the very end of the process. But that is as far as this app let’s you go. When it’s time to pay you get this stupid message saying it’s not available. So you run the search again and there it is. Go through the entire process again but no luck. Guess I’ll find another site/app from now on. This has turned to rubbish! Very unfortunate

Watch for hidden luggage costs on cheaper airlines. Look Skyscanner does its job, but if using in Asia(I’ve flown Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and about to head into Indo), I’ve noticed a lot of the middle of the road deals don’t include luggage. I’m talking about you, Air Asia. And they charge eye wateringly for even 20kg . Like who’s traveling through Asia with no luggage? I use Vietnam Airlines a lot, especially for internal domestic flights and the price has always included 20kg of luggage and they are mostly on time (it is Vietnam) . So beware: that $100 buck flight may cost you $160 once you pay for luggage and food. Just so you know.

Saved flight refresh?. Love sky scanner, always use it when travelling. It there any chance you can refresh the saved flights like you used to? Now I find every time I log on my saved flights don’t automatically refresh the price which is quite annoying when watching flight options.

Very poor customer services. I booked a return flight ticket and late needed to change the return date. When I contacted them, only got a response two days later telling “due to technical issues” I had to contact the flight company myself to make the change. It costed another $500 to make a change! To me, the app is good if you are 100% sure with all of your travel, eg time,dates, etc. but anything could happen, with the poor customer service and extremely high cost of any minor change related to the ticket, probably not worth it.

No accountability on the bestjet fraud. This is really heart wrenching so realise that you have lost your money because of this creepy app. Lost $4k with best jet. I so wish that I wouldn’t have booked the flight with them. No ticket was being offered for months. No refund was being processed. No intimation was given. If this is the level of integrity these people hold I would not be surprised if this happens again. It is so frustrating to only see the sorry note which was being posted by the skyscanner. Where the hell is your accountability gone??? Please stop operating your business whilst making innocent people out of their pocket. Jerks.

No customer service and fraud partners. There is no customer services and i don’t think skyscanner checks if their partners are genuine. I found Jettzy to be a fraudulent partner yet there is no way to report this to skyscanner or get support to claim lost funds PS i have contacted your support team with no support provided. My 740AUD is gone without any tickets. You are thieving. Reply to skyscammer- your colleague is just continuing to say she will update me for a week now. There is no escalation-only we will get back to you. My 740aud is gone and your colleague is still updating. A bit like your app that needs updating to genuine partners. For other customers, beware there is no support for this app. You’d rather buy from trusted sites. This site partners with fraudulent agencies without doing is due diligence

Simply perfect service. Would like to thank the team at skyscanner for their remarkable help in assisting me getting home from Brisbane after Sydney cancelled my flight due to strong winds Whilst waiting in line for the tiger support team to help get another flight, a team member from skyscanner tang and sorted a flight within half an hour The flight was on a Monday and after waiting for 2 hours for Tiger the best the could do was get me a flight Wednesday morning but the guy from skyscanner got me one the next morning so again thanks so much to the team from skyscanner very much appreciated

BAD WEBSITES. Booking tickets via several weblinks often takes you to very badly designed websites. Sometimes there is no correlation between Skyscanner and the associated travel company making the offer, the experience somehow appear to be dubious. When you do get to the booking page often the flights are no longer available or, are so much more expensive. I really don’t mind paying that little bit extra for the services they provide. When this happens I often go directly to the airline companies whilst they loose my business in doing so.

Scammers-Sky Scanner and their dodgy partners. Scammers-Skyscanner and their dodgy partners SkyScanner/Flight Network AU - Worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. Booked my parents flight tickets to Australia via Sky Scanner and their partner in crime Flight Network. The airline cancelled the flight 45 days before travel. Asked Flight Network to issue me a refund, but the support personnels attitude was unapologetic and below par courtesy towards handling this issue. Called them 3 times in 3 days and they were all singing in same tune that they wont refund my money as it is the airline policy. I said you are the middle man as you taken have taken money from me. This is airliners mistake and I am not liable for any of their problems. But no, arrogant support personnel just wanted to finish the call without helping me. How can these airliners and travel agency can keep our hard earned money without providing the service? is there a law against these atrocities. Absolute scammers beware booking through sky scanner as most off their partners are dodgy like Flight Network

My ‘go to’ app for flights, though I do have a suggestion.... Skyscanner is the app I am on daily checking flight prices. It’s a great app and easy to use. My suggestion, however, is that when searching dates that there be a ‘flexible’ date option so that I can check different dates at the same time to find the beat deal.

Excellent App. I use Skyscanner regularly to research airfares for business and holidays. Although I’m an Emerald level FF with a Oneworld airline, I use this app to compare prices and routing options amongst all airlines to try and balance value against convenience and the need to maintain FF status. The only thing I’d like to see added to the app would be the ability to filter results by airline alliance programs, as you can do on the website. Otherwise it’s excellent.

Great concept but poor execution. When setting up a profile you go to all the trouble of inserting your personal details, passport details, frequent flyer/loyalty details, credit card details and it’s all for nothing! When you select a flight to purchase all the profile information should auto-fill but it doesn’t and you have to re-enter all of the information. Needs sorted, could be a great app.

Better options needed especially flights that are budget airlines. Finding flight is not bad but for each flight I wish they label items such as what’s included in the fare such as luggage one piece at 23 or 32 kg, cabin bag 7kg one or two piece only. Plus even have a selection of purchases if the fare (e.g. budget airfare) does not included one piece luggage’s for a certain kilo. As if I’m travelling I really do not have a clue which airline is budget or full service airlines in a certain country. Which means I have to research myself than using this app which is not user friendly experience.

Good App…just needs one change.. I have been using Skyscanner since 2014 without any issues and whilst several people complain about Bestjet going into administration, it’s hardly Skyscanner’s fault. It’s that what travel insurance is for? The only issue I have with the app compared to their website is the inability to filter out the multiple airline combinations when you search. Why hasn’t this been added? Surely this could be a very easy fix for your developers. Hope to see it available in the new update or sometime real soon.

Great app!!. I love this app, it’s an app for you to search cheap airfares and it has a lot of filters to alter your search preferences. I think Skyscanner shouldn’t put down certain websites as I am currently facing issues with Tripair! Btw if anyone were to book a flight I repeat DO NOT book with Tripair the website is owned by Greece and customer service isn’t great!! I’ve learnt my lesson and now I’m just going to book directly onto the airline website. I will only use Skyscanner if the prices are directly from the airline because the prices vary if you book with other websites.

Simple, easy, fast. Skyscanner is really useful when I’m hunting for international flights from australia, especially ones which require connections. Or at least, when there isn’t a pandemic happening! It’s my first choice when I’m planning travel.

Aussie dude. Such an easy app to use for travelling multiple places . The multi city feature works everything out for you. All you have to do is make sure you meet there requirements eg; flight departure times lol. Because there is no refund on that particular leg of the journey and I’m guessing the renaming legs of the journey. If you are smart enough to use an online app too book flights, I’m sure you can figure out what time your flight leaves. I haven’t had any dramas whatsoever

Flight option are invalid if the provider is a scammer. What annoys me is scamming online travel agents advertise flights hundreds of dollars cheaper than well known competitors. This then puts legitimate prices from reputable or even less well known but honest providers way down the list or even not available to view. We should have an option to weed/filter out known websites that take your money and not ticket your flights for weeks or until they are not available anymore. It happens regularly to thousands of travellers and they are never held accountable

Change taking you downhill!. The latest change is a step backwards! I don’t want to commit to anything until I can see my return options. Trying to make me choose an outside booking agency before I can see the rerun options means I’m off to find a new app. What a shame! I’d loved this app before.

Good App but need slight improvement. The app is great but the fall back is due to the rates provided by agents/companies that often are not reliable, a simple search on google about these companies and you can see the ratings and complains. My suggestion to get this app to 5 out of 5 stars is to add to the filters the ability to filter the rates to be only direct from the airline website.

Gone backwards. It’s always been a good app but there are issues. The app keeps losing my settings and reverting back to the wrong currency and country settings. More concerning is time wasted with advertised opportunities and prices that are no longer available. If you challenged Skyscanner on this they’d probably have some excuse about how hard it is get around this but that doesn’t make complete sense. There are ways of keeping things in sync even if it means spending a bit more money on their solution

Recent app changes are a step backwards. Used to be a fantastic app for keeping tabs on a future flight and periodically running the same “watched” flight leg to see what the current options are (I know you can get an email but using the app is a better workflow). I hardly ever review apps however the recent changes are such a regression to usability I felt compelled to write a review. The new “pickup where you left off” option in the app only populates the “to” and “from” from your previous flight search and doesn’t even set the same date as previous and heck doesn’t even set the same one way status? How is that the same search as “where you left off”? It’s not even obvious (read: should be front and centre) how to just view or run your “watched”/“saved” searches. Whilst the service is still good at returned options and prices etc., the usability of the app is now bad enough I’ll be reassessing other services to see if they can replace what was once my gold standard go-to app and service.

Best App for long haul flights. This app is the quickest to browse for long haul flights as it gives you the total travel time + stops + price, without having to click into each individual advertised flight. Other Apps make it difficult to see this information and therefore are very time consuming

It’s not 100% but it’s about the best.. I am a full time international traveler and have been using Skyscanner for most of my flights. Even if I don’t book using the app I always use it to check the prices. However lately I’m getting fed up with the 3rd party providers jacking up the price as I proceed through the booking process. That is the only time I don’t book through Sky-scanner, because of 3rd parties tracking my flight habits. I would give 5 stars if the developers could buy a stop to 3rd party tracking and upping the prices as you are booking. ****-

Excellent Customer Service. My return flight was at a wrong date which unfortunately I realised right after booking. Fortunately, I checked the app and status says ‘Booking in progress’. I clicked on Get Help and started a chat, which surprisingly, a customer service representative is already available! Ori was very clear with how the matter will be handled. They were able to cancel my wrong flight. It’s very impressive that the app gives the real-time status, and within it a feature to contact customer service straight away. Keep it up. Holding off the last star til i receive my refund ✌️🙂

Easy peasy. Such a great place to book the cheapest, bestest flights! Easy to navigate, with prices shown on days of travel! 😮 Makes me feel like a successful travel agent when I show my hubby the amazing trips I’ve planned, and he is AMAZED 🤯 by my brilliance! Am able to plan more stays on route, which allows us to explore and stay at new places/ countries, dropping both our flight price AND flight time! e-nightmare, don’t do it. Skyscanner and e-nightmare, don’t do it! What a waste of energy, time and money. Skyscanner was so easy to use in pre-covid times, how did e-dreams get on this? They are not a travel agent, they are a travel broker. This means no customer service, only money is on a broker’s mind. All prices are in US dollars and a conversion fee of 100$ is charged for each booking. Stupid me, I gave the benefit of doubts 3 times. Each booking was canceled a week after I booked, saying the bank didn’t release the money. I spent hours on the phone to operators. I understand Sir, if you book again, I can see that it will go through. The second booking that was canceled as well, re appeared as confirmed a week before my departure. After yet another 45 agonizing minutes on the phone, I was told that all booking are canceled. Only to find that two days before departure, that it was still confirmed. Seriously, I don’t understand how this scam gets away with this. And that’s all it is, a scam.

Lost its core functionality. This used to be go to app for all flights. As a frequent traveller I’ve used it countless times, but it now flits between pages making it impossible to research prides. You enter specific dates and it also changes them, assumably to find a cheaper fare; however, this could cause some people to book the wrong dates! Also, the new logo is pants and doesn’t reflect the objective of your company: to compare flight prices to sell flights. Talking about sustainability is utter rubbish...a logo doesn’t make a company sustainable. If you’re serious about sustainability then put your money where your mouth is and only sell flights that have a carbon offset. No? Thought not. After years of use I’ve decided to ditch this app....far more friendly sites to use.

UI unresponsive and few glitches. UI on mobile is very slow and can get unresponsive in middle of search Adding filters complicates search as it is not easy to clear them. Touching on filters so you can clear them does nothing which is annoying Then you go through “explore” menu and there is a text option or a link that can appear to “clear filters” The ability to find cheapest dates over a range of month or few months provides appealing prices, only be changed to higher prices once you click through to actual flight details. Fake advertising??? Maybe...

A real 5 star service. their customer service is simply ‘THE BEST’ in the world, hands down ! the app is amazing but the people who stand behind the app (customer support) to help you with whatever matter it be, are much more amazing! The sense of ownership and dedication to take your problem as their own personal problem and to really resolve it beyond the call of their duty, no one can match that up in any online/retail business in the world. Had a wonderful experience with this guy Neil from the support team, what a beautiful attitude towards the customer ! Rarely you would experience that in life anywhere else. For sure, I am a fan of them now and will recommend each and everyone to use this app, if anything happens they are REALLY there to take care of you and take you out of your stress and leave you happier than before! kudos to these guys ! in customer support business, that’s not easy to maintain but these guys have nailed it. Congratulations Skyscanner customer support team and specifically Neil. Now just keep yourself up to the expectations as you have set the bars very high now for your customers. :-)

removing and reinstalling fixed my problems. Can’t really say much about the app. Generally, I go to the website, but thought the app would be easier to use ... it isn’t. The general reply from Skyscanner to press the app support button for assistance is a bit misleading - you need to run a search to find out how to get in contact with them, but when you do get there, I found them helpful.

The Sky- scanner is fraud. My order number is LI3QCL . I booked a round trip from Melbourne to New delhi and New delhi to Melbourne. This app was showing the timings from New Delhi to Melbourne 15 hours 45 but when i paid them they sent me a return ticket with timing more than 24 hours. Now when i complain them online they are connecting my call to here and there . I will go in the court against them , i have all the screenshots of their app which was showing 15 hours 45 minutes which I can show the other customers as well .

Worth application ever.. Don’t buy a tickets in this app. It’s worth company ever. I bought a ticket for 1000 usd after 3 days my plans has changed and I asked for a refund. They made it for me. My refund was only 30 usd. Can you imagine? My flight was in one week. I sent an emails and make a calls but I didn’t get anything. New managers just opened a new cases and give me a promises investigate this issue… but zero results. I just waisted my money. My recommendation for everyone just use a competitor or airline website. And you will avoid this situation.

Refers to a bad company FareBoom. I always used and trusted Skyscanner to find reliable partners to book airplane tickets. It will not be the case anymore. I made a reservation thru Skyscanner with FareBoom on 3 June 2019. The next day, instead of receiving tickets, FareBoom sent me this email : We noticed that you have an unfinished reservation to Montreal. You might want to book quickly before the price goes up. I couldn’t finish my reservation. My itinerary was no longer available. So, I used again Skyscanner and booked with FlightNetwork. I got my ticket in the next hours. On 5 June 2019, FareBoom send me tickets ordered on 3 June 2019. Very bad customer service. I ended up having to cancel my trip with FlightNetwork, paying 452 CAD. Such a liar. I have never got a ticket price exactly with what I see at front. After entering all info, then price is going up as always. Poor site!

Poor design with new update. Very difficult to navigate and find flights. Feels so awkward and unpleasant to use. Was way better before the update. The original look of the app worked perfectly well! Don’t fix what isn’t broken! Please change it back, I can hardly use this app anymore!

Hate the new layout. I know people love updating their systems and changing things. But really your previous display was way better than this new one where things are divided per month. Everyone else do that. They need date and time and place to show us ticket price, you didn’t do that and I loved you guys for it, but now we have to enter informations and you’ve removed the scrolling list of flights regardless of the month. It is not very user friendly. Plus I noticed the tickets have gone up too. Not cool Skyscanner, not cool at all.

This is an scam. Is frustrated do a booking through this app and web site , they take your money and after that, they replied to you that the booking wasn’t processed, and the you will have to wait for your money and nobody give to you a guarantee

Don’t buy tickets from the app. First of all I try to call costumer service to change my flight ticket and I couldn’t understand anything that the attendant was saying. Second I tried to change my tickets through them but they didn’t offer us this possibility, them when I contact the airline company they weren’t able to change it because we bought through Skyscanner which is making everything way harder and making me not able to help my girl to change her flight to another one. End of story do not buy tickets with Skyscanner when you need the customer service and their services they aren’t helpful at all.

Needs improvement. I have always used Skyscanner app as my go to app for booking flights, but the experience have never satisfied me- 1) The price shown is never the true price, it always jumps up like a trap luring u to third party sites 2) It gives tons of results but not something that one can use. I recommend adding more filter options like no transit visa required, no self transfer, 2 stops, 3 stops, 4 stops not simply more than 2 stops so we can customize our filter. Not everyone have USA transit visa and not everyone can do self transfer in 3 layover stops and collect baggage and also go through immigration again. It’s better to give less option than showing 200 plus flights options. 3) The site also don’t seem to show all airlines. Many airlines name I don’t get to see

Low quality partners. Hi everyone, I was looking for the round flight to Toronto and back. I booked return flight through Skyscanner on their partners website (budget air) couple days ago. After I payed for my ticket I received the booking confirmation which says that I have a return flight from Hamilton, instead of Toronto. And now I cannot rebook or cancel it because cancellation fees are insane. How you can sell return ticket from the different city? I am really disappointed and the budget air told me that there nothing what they can do, because I already paid. Moreover, I still didn’t received my ticket only booking acknowledgment. I don’t recommend using this app.

What do you need to know about this app. It’s great if you want to understand how Air Miles work or different transit travel, it’s more like a travel, magazine, not a search engine for discounted airfare, or hotels. Every time I look at it I think it must be better than the other apps, but in terms of finding deals any better different angles not sure how it can even play in this mature market of airfare deals.

Filter Options. Would be helpful to include an option to filter by baggage allowance. Instead of having to click through the flight to get an idea of the fees.

Dodgy 3rd party apps. I used Skyscanner to find the suitable flight, but then to purchase a flight you are directed to a third-party. I proceeded and booked with them, only to find out the company went bankrupt. Skyscanner absolved, any liability, and told me to sort it out myself. I do not suggest using this application, book with the airline directly.

Using other services moving forward (and I booked flights in and out of 20 countries last year). Goodbye! Update 13 Dec 2021: a clarification, really. What frustrates me most about ‘Best’ is when I have a app set on ‘Cheapest’ and you only show 3 flights, then I click on ‘See all 31 flights’, and it resets to ‘Best’. I book all over the world, and this is simply one added source of frustration! Update 03 Nov 2021: What did I forget? ‘Best’? I don’t want your opinion on ‘best’. I want default to be ‘Price’, and I can change it to ‘Duration’ if I please. I do not want to sign-up for you to remember this. I want what currency I want, and I don’t want to sign-up for you to remember it. Please and thank you. One way. Why do I constantly need to fight this app for it to go to ‘one way’? Every week they add more steps for you to get to where you want to go. No recent designs are an improvement IMHO! On top of this, it now takes an extra two steps to find out the stopover cities - during a pandemic when many of us can’t fly through the US! Too difficult to get the information we need! If you really want to make timely changes, how about ‘Filter by no US stopover’?

So slow and frustrating. I have been bombarded (I’m not exaggerating) by adds for this app on YouTube. I finally decided to download it and see what it’s about. The responsiveness of the screen is terrible. It’s so slow and it’s extremely frustrating to navigate through because of this. At one point the screen just went blank and never changed. Yikes

New Visual Layout. This new layout is a steep step down from the last format. This is far more frustrating to navigate, and seems to provide far fewer options.

Best rates all the time. Have been using it since 2008 with my first flight from mct-Cok . Always get the best deals. Still going on for the last 16 yrs including my recent trips in Europe and North America.Always been referring to friends for getting the best deals.

Change the search back!. The new search has made it practically impossible to find flights. Constantly saying “none available for those dates” months at a time. Previous search worked amazing, and extremely user friendly. I have switched to exclusively using the desktop for more accurate search results.

Scammers allowed. Shame on you for allowing scam websites like flight mojo and cheap Flights channel on your app. This used to be one of the best why ruin by allowing such scammer to be on ur app

Best prices. I have used this app for the last 2 yrs and have always found the best prices. I travel a lot in the country as well as to Tonga and I have gotten the best prices through here. I wish it gave price prediction but I use others for that and book through here and it’s always $5-10 cheaper too. I love this app. Won’t use anything else.

Great app!. This is an easy-to-use, convenient, helpful app. Searches flights quickly and categorizes results in a way that makes them easy to sort through. The only thing on my wishlist is I’d like to be able to block certain airlines from search results. I never fly Frontier (no matter how cheap they are), for example - so if there were airline preference options it’d be a perfect 5 from me.

Overall good app. I like that you can filter to several options, including the airline you want to fly. However, my only complaint so far is that the class of tickets only filter to: economy, premium economy, business class and first class. Economy is considered basic economy. Premium economy is delta comfort. They don’t even have a class for main cabin. I never fly basic economy as it doesn’t allow you to get Pre-assigned seats and if traveling with companions your seats may not be together.

Greatest app to have for finding the greatest prices. This is by far, way ahead of the game on being the best apps to use in finding the cheapest fares. I have used other apps with not the same results as Skyscanner it has all the prices some not even on the others. We will highly recommend using it and continue to recommend to all our family and friends. Thxs for a excellent app.

Tons of savings. My daughter is an AuPair/Nanny and has worked all over Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Cambodia and the USA, so saving money is a huge deal. Skyscanner is always the first place we check when booking flights, but once we do that and find one we like, we do compare skyscanner with the airline website to see who is the better deal, skyscanner wins out most of the time. Just started. I just started using the app and during the setup process your profile isn’t complete until you add a travel partners info. As a single woman who will be traveling alone the fact that my profile cannot be “complete” without a travel companions info is offensive. Please make this change and add it as an option instead of a must in order to complete the profile and I will give a more accurate review of the actual usage of the app. Thank you.

Great, but just some suggestions. It does not show flights as “overnight” if they take off after 12. So if a flight leaves at 12:30 AM and arrives at 7:30 am it’s not shown as overnight. Besides that, just great. Even better than the computer version IMO because of the airplane data it offers. Would like to be able to filter out connecting airports though.

The best app for cheap spontaneous trips!!. I have used this app to purchase absolutely every plane ticket I’ve ever purchased and it amazing the deals I have found. This app helps you find the absolute cheapest deals there is to practically anywhere. I traveled from Miami to europe flying to 7 different cities and back During the spring, and I did not spend more than 700 dollars on plane tickets. I can not stop traveling because of the prices I manage to find on here.

No deals to be found. Downloaded this with the hope that I could find some good deals on overseas flights. All I’ve seen so far is cheap prices on selected dates, only when you actually pull up the list of flights, the price doubles. For example, attempting to book a round trip flight for a few months out will say $400-$500, but when I actually click to see the flight times and airlines the price shoots up to $900. Not sure if Skyscanner thinks I’m stupid or I’ll just say fine and spend an extra $500 but that’s not happening.

Different prices. I attempted to book a flight to Guatemala and prices where showing $450-$500 R/T. Wife who’s Mexican but lives in United States kept getting $149-$200 for same flight. She would send me screenshots and I would attempt to get the same price. She ended up using her account but booked the flights in the wrong order. My credit card. I lost the money because a refund is almost impossible through the third party vendors. If they had given me access to the same price structure it would have saves me much stress. I’ll avoid in the future.

Lose data. WTH?! when one selects one way flights ‘from where’ (like las vegas) then ‘to where’ (like mexico) and then the month to be searched (october in this instance), the various cities come up as expected listed in order of fare prices. but when one selects the city, it only shows round trip flights with round trip prices. one then has to do day by day calendar searches to that city to find a one way price AND the low price is never the one that comes up from the original search. so, its confusing, time consuming and inaccurate. going ‘old school’ with something like ‘google flights’ is much quicker and accurate.

Mr. Pruett. I have and continue to use SkyScanner to find the best travel options in terms of total hours traveled and of course the best value. It’s a very convenient and extremely useful app which saved me several times while traveling both east and west. The app is required for planning my diving trips to the Pacific through Asia not to mention trips to Brazil.

Only travel app you need. I’ve used this app for years as it was recommended by backpack travelers I met on my journeys that knew how to budget travel. The best deals that search for every airline you can think of domestic and international. Skyscanner is #1 when it’s comes to finding good flights. Skyscanner has been helpful in the planning process to help us make timely financial decisions on airfare. I swear by Skyscanner. This company is freaking phenomenal. The app is super easy to use, and is my go-to for finding cheap flights. Combined with Hopper you literally can not find better prices! I spent 21 days in Europe last October (flew out of Austin TX and back by way of Seattle to visit family) and the ENTIRE thing cost $805 in airfare. I went to 4 countries and 2 major US cities for less than a thousand dollars! I'll talk about that savings forever😂 THANK YOU SKYSCANNER I LOVE YOU!!!

Not showing correct price. I’ve used this app for the past 4 years and have loved it. I enjoy going through the explorer page, picking a good deal, and taking off. Now I see the good deals but when the flights load, they’re much more expensive. For instance, I found a round trip to Denver for $95. I clicked on it and after all of the flights popped up, the cheapest one was over $200. Now it’s just throwing darts in the dark and a bit frustrating cause I move always loved the app and have recommended it to so many.

Travel blogger life saver. Skyscanner is my vice. We have travelled DOUBLE the amount that we would have if it weren’t for this precious gem of an app. I have tons of trips saved on my account and the app acts like my personal assistant and is constantly working to find price drops. I plan my next trip as soon as skyscanner updates me on on super low prices. Definitely worth the download.

Excellent App that I depend on. I fly a fair amount for work and family. Much of the travel is international. I use several apps to find the best routes and depend on a few to drill down and get the best options for buying (direct from airline or travel agency, etc.). Of course I’d like to add some additional features but overall I use SkyScanner the most.

Horrible Update. This new August 2019 “update” was horribly over-engineered. You cannot filter on the number of passengers until you choose a particular flight, nor can you filter on nonstops at the beginning, as before. Finally, on the Everywhere destination, if you pick a place to research, when you try to get back to Everywhere on a new search, it auto populates the last destination you looked at. Nice new pictures, Skyscanner, but you’ve done so at the expense of efficient searching and done exactly what you shouldn’t do.....drive long-standing fans of your app straight to Kayak.

Must have app. This app has saved me so many times while traveling all over when a flight was cancelled or I ended up stranded somewhere that wasn’t planned. It also saves so much time by having to go back and forth between carriers to find the best flight. Plus you get notified of price changes on flights you’re interested in. The best travel app!!

So far, so good.. PROS:: - Just downloaded this app (recommended by a YouTuber) last night. Still exploring and playing with the features. - Really digging the layout and format. Very serene and almost soothing (not so much in-your-face like some other apps), with beautiful respective images of most visited places and famous cities spots. - Immediately liked the fact that they keep up with their updates, so kudos to the team! 🙂👍🏾 CONS:: - Not sure why it isn't helping me save a filtered search. - App is unable to follow up/I can't seem to set up an alert for a specified filtered search. FINAL THOUGHTS:: • There's always room for improvement, I guess (and I hope they do). Please do keep trying new and improved things. Holds potential for me recommending to a friend or another.

Very helpful and easy to use. I love this app and i have been using it since 2013! My only suggestion for next features is to be able to filter “any Weekend” that would be just perfect! As sometimes we only got the weekend to travel and most flight companies have their lowest fares during the weekdays and that makes us lose the best deals on weekends... if I could use the Everywhere filter you guys already have with any weekend filter it would be just amazing!

Partner and timing. The app works great looking for flights however once you’ve selected your itinerary the site sends you off to partners with different fares and once you select which partner it sends you to their site and here is where It can be problematic in payment as well as timing out issues or rates changing. Allow more time. Once we buy these tickets they are non changeable and non reimbursable. I don’t like typing my info several times especially on international flights.

Seats. What's so dumb is that every time a new price comes out for a flight please let us know how many seats are left available because I tried buying a flight for December and of course it wasn't approved but I would have loved it if it would show how many seats are available. Please me honest on what you are trying to post for flights if there are no more seats available please take it out and move on to the next one. No point in keeping the price there for people to waste their time on trying to buy a flight that's not even available.

No good deal on this app, a price cheats u will get. The app did not responsible for anything- payment through booking- after your booking request, there will be an email informing your booking need verification and u must call. Agencies at the end of the line are Indians who always ask your personal info and credit card verification (for data base purpose purely and I am afraid if they will sell my credit card info someday). The cheap tickets, as shown in The app, never exit: they just want to keep your private info and tell you ,on the phone call, to pay more for the tickets u want. Why this app get 4.8 ratings? May be the votes are from those Indian agents.

The BEST⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’ve used all the travel apps out there searching for the best price for flights and hotels and Skyscanner is the absolute best. I’ve found flights so much cheaper than what I found on other sites. For example, I searched for a flight & most sites quoted $1800, but Skyscanner scoured the depths of the internet and found me a flight for $1400! For a family of 4, that saved us $1600!! That savings helped pay for a little side trip on that vacation.❤️❤️❤️

Wow!. Well, until the end of time we’ll probably never get a perfect app, but this is pretty darn good! It’ll show me a list of prices, but also show me how good the deals are for the price. It makes shopping for flights and other deals much easier that way, since i don’t have to guess if it’s gonna be a long layover or a quick stop and go. I like Skyscanner, and I recommend it to all of my friends looking to travel.

Please fix glitches. This app tends to glitch a lot. Also, please add a way to remove saved flights once they are no longer available. It’s frustrating to refresh prices only to discover tickets are not available and being unable to remove them from mg list. Other than that, the app is great. Thank you!

Car from St George UT. Tried to check rates to compare with the National Emerald Club rate. I entered my info and inquiry 4 times and then tried to explain/complain on the website. Couldn’t actually speak to a person, but I may get an email answer within 48 hours. My daughter who works for United and thinks you offer the best deals. Your quote was at least $8 higher than National and I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong. Bad price, bad website, long response time. Not impressive at all. I feel I owe it to my daughter/UAL to let her know your failures... Thoughts?

Filters don’t work correctly.. You can set for it to have flights arrive by a certain time but it will give you departures for after when you want to arrive on the next day. Always have to manually search fora flight on a day I want to travel without departure or arrival times to find a flight that meets my requirements. *Edit:. Contacting the developer is pointless, I brought up this issue with them directly over a year ago and it still has not been fixed even though they were easily able to duplicate the problem.

Really disappointing to see how they trick you on prices. Used Skyscanner for years but have noticed their prices fluctuate from the app to the actual airline in recent years. Really disappointing, you can find better deals elsewhere and would recommend hopper if you don’t want to get overcharged for a useless service Skyscanner provided. *update* got a totally unrelated response from the Skyscanner team to message them on their platform. Honestly this team does not care about getting you or getting deals anymore and just want money. Do not go with Skyscanner!

Bed experience. I buy airpline ticket from “exploretrip” a was veerry bed experience “””please don t buy from this agency””” its something wrong with that agency i want to exchange the ticket and they charge my 1000$ for that,,,, its a small agency they have just one person for help people ,,, and its speaking soo bed english and i found another ticket for the date what i want for 1300$ and they charge my 700$ for difrence off price ... soo bed ,,, if its possible the skysccaner to take of this agency because a lot of people have had a bed experience with that ....

Was good. I have been using Skyscanner for the last 3 years and the app has saved me money on great prices with the alerts. The reason for the 3 star is that lately I have been searching for domestic flights and not airlines are shown for pricing. I do not like spirit or frontier and seems that is the only carriers showing up on the pricing. I like American Airlines and I know they have flights available for my dates but they do not show up on the list. Please fix

Excellent Concept. I love the concept of the app. Especially how I can browse where the best deals are if I have very flexible dates of travel. Great for scheduling vacations around cheapest flight options. One suggestion: I wish my saved searches had their own tab and I could filter them or look them up by place or date. I enjoyed using the app and saved like 30 flights and I have to go through every one of them now to find the one I’m looking for. Just a minor organizational thing for me.

Not reliable. Even thought SkyScanner can find the cheapest priced ticket the website selling them aren’t the most reputable. The cheap price buying from these website is useless. Buyers beware. I usually Google for a review of the website to double check on how reputable they are. The cheapest one even the medium priced website are just not worth buying your ticket from. In the end the best price is still the same price as what the major travel website is quoting (ie Expedia, Priceline). That is why the 1 star. If they had filter out the bad travel website then the info may become useful.

What!. Booked a rental for my boyfriend using this app and it sent me to an Italian company. I checked the reviews and everything seemed fine. When he got to the airport, he found out the price would be $300 more and that the Italian company required him to be Italian in order to rent the car. That was never stated in any documents or website pages upon booking. I’m just really disappointed that Skyscanner would even put that as an option for a person living in America, going to a different state in America, to be able to rent a car through a foreign company that wouldn’t work for Americans. Thanks guys.

Convenient Booking. What I like about Sky Scanner are the user friendly online reservation process. Useful information that are useful and pertinet to passengers are provided right on your eye. They provide info like if your baggage will be automatically transferred or not, how many inches is the gap between seats, seats lay out 3-4-3, 3-3 etc, if USB or wifi are available. And the best part, they offer the lowest fare! I will definitely book with Sky Scanner again!

Value of Utilizing the Best for Air Travel. A few years back I had met a colleague in Arizona who introduced me to use Scanner’s App for internal air travel in Europe. Although, as a former Irish retired railway employee and eligible for 50% Euro rail discount, Scanner was an amazing source for even lower travel costs to book air with them on most itineraries over 150 miles I had researched. Check them out before making travel decisions.

This is the app I always go to first.. I use this app about five times a week. My favorite feature is that you can search “everywhere,“ and it gives you inspiration. Also since I fly to the UK a lot I’m always looking for deals and sometimes I discover I can fly to a different city for cheaper than flying to London or Edinburgh. The app is great.

Easy and perfect. Easy interface, simple, and perfect. I can come here and book a flight in less than 5 minutes total THROUGH the actual carrier’s website (which usually enables you for perks you wouldn’t get if you purchased via third party). I love this app and always recommend to friends. Will use for a long time. Thank you!!!

Great App. I've been using Skyscanner for a really long time and I've saved a lot of money. Although if its possible I'd suggest if you could make a return trip from the same country but different city, for example if i choose return ticket from Poland I want to see what's the cheapest option by the city even if it's different each way.

False pricing- Scam. I like this app until two recent incidents that showed me much lower prices. When I click on it to purchase, it links me to CheapOAir that doesn’t actually have those tickets available. I understand that may happen once in awhile but I tried many times, and it’s like that each time. Skyscanner shows those tickets are available but once I follow the link, the price changes. When I go back to Skyscanner, it still shows the lower prices available. I think CheapOAir is a scam and skyscanner is allowing it to do so. Very disappointed and probably won’t use it anymore.

Extremely Misleading. I booked a car with Wisecar or Value Car, which was the provider through Skyscanner two months ago offering a steal of a price for six days with unlimited miles but when I arrived it was nothing of the sort. With all the additional add ones + only 100miles included and .40 each additional mile, I was going to end up paying OVER 1,000!!! Needless to say I left without the car and still was out $100’s in reservation fees, cancellation fees and transportation cost to and from the location. Be very cautious booking through here, at the vehicles. If it’s to good to be true, it probably is!

There are better options. I have not booked a flight with this app, but I am not sure why one would use it over Google Flights or Kayak, as both seem to have better features. I cannot figure out a way to make Skyscanner search nearby airports or flexible dates like the alternatives can. It also frequently recommends me options that have 25-30+ hours of travel time for a flight that should be a single 3-hour hop. Finally, the UI is a bit weird at times. Trying to transition from one-way to round-trip in the date picker took about 60 seconds of awkward fumbling for me.

No competition. This app is the greatest flight booking app on the market. Even if the location you want to fly to is expensive, the Explore option give you much better opportunities to travel to different places. The prices are amazingly cheap (compared to other apps) and the service is A+. Will keep using for a long long time

Can’t get someone to help me. I have had everything planned and arranged, they suddenly notified me my flight was changed one month later, and I will have to confirm within 24 hours or they will confirm for me anyway. Hence I called the number they gave me, of course it was Not their office hours then I called the airline, and the airline said they can’t do anything because the ticket was booked through a certain agency they don’t know. So I mailed Skyscanner, no reply. This entire weekend I will just have to wait, I am sure I will lose my money and end up booking a different flight Home!

Saved $596 for 2 travelers today. THANK YOU SKYSCANNER!! We had booked American Airlines with refundable Tix & upgraded seats last week, and I set a trip favorite for the flight on SKYSCANNER. This morning SKYSCANNER sent an email that the price dropped over $700 for the 2 fares!! We called American Airlines & explained we wanted to pay the sale price. AA was wonderful & we got a refund for price difference!

Too bad they don’t verify emails to get an account. The only reason I got the app was because someone used my email to sign up and I don’t want notifications and advertisements being sent to my email address. When are companies going to learn that this is a hassle for the individuals who the email addresses belong to. THESE IDIOTS RESPONDED BY STATING TAP ON APP SUPPORT AND FILL OUT THE FORM. 20 minutes latter after tapping on every option no form. THE APP MIGHT BE GREAT IF YOU ACTUALLY SIGNED UP FOR IT, BUT THESE COMPANIES NEED TO VERIFY AN EMAIL BEFORE LETTING ANYONE USE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to book a flight. It’s not very easy to book a flight. You try to change times and it’s difficult I’d rather puncheon what I want and then you find the closest you can get. Rather than all those double talk language under page you’re not quite sure what you’re Choosing. It makes it a very exhausting task

Best App for flights. This is the best app to search for flights. I always find the best deals on here. People always try to tell me about other sites and I show them sky scanner, I always have the flight they had plus usually a cheaper one! Update: I guess Skyscanner has decided to stop showing the ups and downs of prices so people have to click more. So they lose a star.
