Students can dance to music that gradually speeds up. First I can’t say enough great things about Tony in support because I couldn’t figure out how to use this feature. he was so patient over three emails and he even made an instructional video for me and that’s what did the trick. It’s really hard when you’re teaching dance to take the students through steps to a song without music and then throw them right into dancing at full speed when you turn on the music. This feature allows me to set an initial tempo at 80%, say, and then have the tempo gradually increase to 100% 30 seconds before the end of the music. I think this is going to make a world of difference especially for beginning line dancers! and I will certainly use it when I am learning new dances. Love it. Arrange music by ear. This is a must have for transcribing as iTunes music.... Or my piano can be out of tune by a few notches! Well done, well worth cost, and very clean sound quality with the speed and pitch adjustments. Only have base app. Thanks!

Love it!. The more I use it to understand its features the more I love it (Pro plus version). Today realized that I can use the LiveMix to plug in my iRig. And then learned how to use the EQ. Game changer for me. Much easier to practice, anywhere. Much thanks. PERFECT!!!

Needs an Update!!!. I love this app, but it needs an update! I have purchases that are non existent and won’t refresh. It’s very frustrating and not allowing me to use the full potential of the app that I paid for. Please give us an update soon to take care of these glitches.

Amazing. The EQ section alone is insane. I have been learning stuff I wasn’t previously able to hear with this app and my playing has improved because of it.

Anytune User. I like this app because I can slow down foreign language recordings so I can understand them more easily, while learning a new language. Also, it is easy to import mp3 files to Anytune on my tablet. The sound reproduction is as good as the original recording.

Please add split view in ipad version. The app works incredibly well but if you can’t put it as split view and is the only app that you can use at time, its loose a lot of posiblities. The full version with all purchases cost about 20dollars. Ps: 1 star is only for this detail, because i can’t and probably a lot of people as i would like, and another reason would be to call the attention of developers to this review and know about this problem, but if you don’t mind this problem i think that is a 4 stars or 4.5 not 5 because remove of calls its not perfect and doesn’t work in all songs, but its better than others than i tried. If its really work at the perfection point the app could be so much expensive and even worth but, no one program could remove totally even in the pc/mac. So if in a future update add split view support i would change my review to 4 or 5, and if you don’t mind this problem i recommend this app, but keep this disadvantage in mind.

Great app but just a few bugs. Love this app especially for having fun with music. Just got a new iPhone XR and the loop feature won’t work. Instead it takes me to a featured website next to the loop button. Love how you can lower the pitch to minus 24 semi for short recordings but would love it if you could do it with longer ones with out having to perchase the pro version. Great job anyway. Hope this app stays on here and continues to grow. Amazing what we can do with technology.

Very useful. The app does a great job slowing down and looping music. There is a bit of a learning curve with all of the controls but spend some time with the help and you can figure it out. Well worth it to work on difficult parts of songs.

otacbrana. Alooooo! repair the application !!!! Each time I run it, it changes settings and asks me to rebuild what I already bought! BUT!!! After I sent the ticket, Mr. Toni solved the problem !!! Thanks and I recommend the app to anyone involved in music as this is a wonderful app !!!

Amazing app for musicians and singers alike. I am a musician and band leader. The different groups that I perform with and I use this app to work on the different keys when no sheet music is given and on the fly to learn any riffs and other solos we might need and want to play on multiple keys. I'm glad they continue to update this app, as it is definitely being put to use, for musicians and the singer's I work with.

Most important music app I have. By far Anytune is the most important app I have regarding my guitar playing. I’ll find a song I like and import it into the app. Then I can slow it down or isolate tough parts or put a segment on repeat so I can work on it repetitively. I’ve even imported a Technique Exercise CD so I can slow the exercises down and then speed up incrementally as I get better. I use Anytune in conjunction with Tonebridge. The app allows me to turn the song down and my playing up (or vice versa). It seriously is the app I use every time I pick up my guitar.

Indispensable. I’ve been using this app every day for several years now to practice. Changing the speed and pitch off tunes, and creating loops to repeats parts of tracks I want to play along with, are indispensable parts of my practice routine.

Great app. I use this app almost daily. It’s a great way to practice singing and guitar. I can slow a piece down to the point where I can play it on the guitar and then slowly speed it up till I can play it at full speed. I can change the key. I can isolate a section I need to work on either vocally or on guitar. It has everything I need it to do!

My Favorite App Ever. I’m just a girl that loves music. I really don’t have much of a musical background besides Chorus lol. But I’ve been using this app for around 5 or 6 years I think? I’m not sure I know it has been a minute. I love it though. I can do anything to any song I want, and make it mean something extra to me. My favorite song is Somewhere Only We Know by Keane. I love looping the end and slowing it down alittle. It always gives me chills. Thank you!

I have a question for the creators!!. So, I used to pitch down songs so I could listen to them at a lower tone, but now some songs are ‘protected’? And I don’t exactly know how to listen to it without getting that warning. Is there anyway I could do that? - Thank u :3

Good app for foreign language practice. When the sample foreign language is going faster than my mind can process, this works to help me polish up the correct pronunciation and so I can learn much easier.

Best app I’ve found for this!!. If we would have had this app 20 years ago guitar playing as a whole would have advanced faster. Works great and helps to train your ear. Get it!

Can’t access Apple Music. Up until about 6 months ago I was getting a lot of use out of the app including buying some extra pro features. Due to some update either by Anytune, Apple iOS or both I can no monger a ESD my Music. When I go to add a pop up says Anytune would like to access your Apple music, your music, video activity and your media library. Your media files will be displayed and played to your audio output. I click through to settings and nothing shows up to toggle on. I’ve look for forum solutions and i can’t find anything that specifically addresses this. I also deleted the app and reloaded it back onto my phone to no avail. I sure would like this fixed. I miss using it as apart of my daily practice sessions.

The Best. I’ve been using Anytune for quite a while now. I found it extremely helpful in my teaching, and personal use. I can slow down tunes for analysis for practice. I wonderful tool.

Love this app. I’m not a pro, but I love using this app to help me learn solos. Being able to use the loop and the speed settings is very helpful. It does way more that what I’m using it for now. Couldn’t be happier with it. This app is helpful for the beginner, the pro and anyone in between.

Great practice tool. So far probably the best practice tool I've found for slowing down and looping segments in songs. I play banjo and it is immensely useful for slowing down breaks and backup. Easily browse your music library, pick a song and go to work. User interface is a bit overwhelming but they have useful tips that you can turn on to help direct you to do what you want. After a few days it's pretty easy to navigate. Highly recommend it for any musician looking for a slow dow tool.

Great tool. Have used for years, works great for getting those licks down, is great to use just for listening as well, a good investment for ripping off those riffs and licks

Wow. Wow, what a difference Anytune has made in my flute virtuosity ! Absolutely fabulous! I can slow down everything (FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE ) and play it soooo much better with sooo much control. Thank you for offering this app❤️🎼😊

Works great. Worth it. I prefer to learn guitar and music by ear, and being able to slow down parts to really hear what is going on has been amazing. Such an awesome app.

needs finer pitch control. I bought the upgrade for better pitch control but it doesn’t go to the cents level, which would be great for playing with some antique instruments. update:Thank you! I didn’t realize that there was a pitch slider. I thought I had to press on the buttons at either end.

Convenient. Very convenient to select pieces from playlist, to be able to slow it down or vary pitch by semitone. The one feature I would prefer to see would be to be able to vary the pitch more continuously, as one can do with the speed, rather than just by semitones jumps, in case one is trying to play in tune with a recording that is not exactly at one of the semitone intervals.

Annoyed. Anytune (not the pro version) needs more free position marks it really irritated me how you only got 5 with the free version Also each peice should be able to be ajusted to a metronome speed i had to do the math to figure out how fast my song should be But other than that it's a great app especially for preparing for music exams if you have the accompaniment but it is the wrong speed

Used app for first time last night... And wow. Really don't know why I didn't use this sooner. It makes tabbing out songs way easier! And I can practice at a pace I'm comfortable with without having to play sloppily. Will definitely recommend! Only thing I don't like is the ad bar is really in an unfortunate place right by the play/pause button :/

A must for amateur musiciams. I use it to slow music so i can learn the chord changes as well as the lyrics. My teacher can follow music at full tempo and write down the riffs and chords. But he's a college music grad and a pro performer.

Practice Perfected. This app has been a lifesaver for learning choral pieces. It helps me to listen to all the parts to see if I have learned my part and this app enabled me to do it as I can slow the music down as needed. I use a little bluetooth speaker linked to my phone and this app while sitting at the piano.

Invaluable. Incredible for studying rhythmically complex pieces…including hearing in super slow versions where even the creators of the pieces had issues.

Great practice tool. I’ve played guitar for 30+ years semi-professionally. Anytune has helped me tremendously as a practice tool. I was seriously considering buying a very expensive hardware unit that did the same thing. I’m glad I didn’t. I was skeptical at the price point, but this works really well. I will sometimes slow it down to learn a hard part. I mostly like to loop the difficult parts of the songs my band plays to stay sharp between practices. Great tool!

Slow speed vey poor quality. If you want to adjust the speed, it is very poor. You will have to pay $14 for the pro version.

I would give it a THOUSAND stars if I could!. I love this app! I am able to be a lot better at doing my little trumpet part on Savoy Truffle (The Beatle- The White Album) and I am SO thankful! Also, I would like if there was a way you could add a metronome, if that doesn’t trouble you at all!

One of the most useful apps I use. As a musician in a few cover bands that many, many songs tuned differently from the studio recordings the app allows me to better prepare and practice. Honestly the most valuable app I have and is a must for any musician

Pretty cool, but a few issues.... Awesome replacement for a previous app I used, but may be for more experienced users/professionals. It's a bit confusing for what I use it for(adjusting songs for listening). Plus, it hijacks the mic so Siri can't listen (she'll queue, but will time out). But overall, a decent audio editor, it meets my meager needs.

Great tool for learning new songs!. Best tool on the market for learning new songs using your iPhone or iPad. You can easily access any song in your device’s library and then slow it down, change its key, loop the toughest passages for in-depth study, etc. I’ve tried most of the alternatives out there (including desktop software that cost $40+), and this is as good as or better than any of them.

Finally, saw many improvements in recent updates!. I would only recommend that the ⏮⏭ buttons were more defined, as I keep hitting ‘song info’ in the Now Playing section of the app. Otherwise, a tremendous music player app!!!

Use to be Great. This app was great. The concept is great and I never had a problem. I used this product to practice all the time. I feel after the latest update, it stopped syncing with my Apple iTunes account. I would buy song in the ITunes Store and they still showed up as songs that were protected in the AnyTune app. I have tried toggling the sync tab in the settings and it still would not work. It only works now with songs that I have purchased in the past. Nothing new can be added anymore.

Best Yet. Just started playing again after 16 years. This app has cut my recovery time in half. I don't know where I'd be without it. Thanks from the bottom of my heart to the developers.

Great app for analyzing music and learning notes. This app enables you to slow the music down without changing the pitch so you can hear and learn notes, hear and learn subtle musical nuances, and actually progress more quickly than by trying to hear and learn recordings at full pace.

Nightmare to use. Want to loop a section? Forget it. You’ll spend all of your time fighting the clunky user interface. Marking the beginning and end of a section is not intuitive. Furthermore, when you do, the app automatically adds a second mark for a new section under the one you just created. Going back and trying to sort things out just creates more chaos. If you plan on marking multiple sections on a track for looping, the app is an absolute frustrating nightmare. For $15, this app has so many problems, which is too bad, because it has so much promise. If a developer wants to reach out, I’d gladly help you work through these issues. Until then, ASD is a more functional app. While not perfect, it won’t waste your time trying to get it to function as you want.

The looping feature alone is worth it.. As any musician knows. The most annoying part of practicing is when you have everything nailed down, except this one specific part that is proving to be a little tricky. I don’t know how much time I have wasted just rewinding a little 4 second snippet, over and over again. It’s depressing just thinking about it. How much effort was wasted on that instead of actually practicing. You can also fine tune the loop to make sure it’s in tempo. At this point I can say this has app has made practicing much more enjoyable. And at the price of free, it’s been unbelievably helpful.

Toggle maybe. As a singer I have two recordings, one with my part dominant, the other with my part removed so I can test myself. It would be helpful to be able to quickly toggle between the two easier. Other than that I’m loving it.

Excellent app for students and budding musician. As a Suzuki mom of a cello and violin students, this app is wonderful! You can slow down songs, put practice spots on loop, and so much more!

Great tool for transcribing. I love an app that does what it’s supposed to do. It’s got a well worked out interface that allows one to spend time and energy on the music, not on fiddling with the software or re-finding the place in the recording. Really terrific.

A must have for working musicians. I am the bar band bassist and I need to learn covers from classic rock to modern pop. Seems the older the song, the more "unique" the tuning. I've learned songs completely wrong and then come back to the band and realize I was off by a half or whole step simply because "back in the day" bands tuned to each other and not to a standard tuning necessarily. This app allows you (with a total of $7 in purchases) to adjust pitch in incremental semitones allowing you to not have to retune your instrument for every single song. It is free but the pro and basic upgrade are needed to really get the most out of it.

Really good, one minor issue. Great! Really helps me out when practicing my music. Only problem is that it doesn’t tell you that you can only import 3 songs for free, and you have to pay to import them after that. Oh, and deleting imported songs won’t let you import more of them. Overall, really good.

It’s just that good!. I used the free version of Anytune before I bought a Samsung phone. I thought I could find an app that would replace it. I tried several but they just didn’t have a combination of features that I found out Anytune had when I checked it out on a friends iPad. Needless to say, at my next opportunity I bought an iPhone specifically so that I could use Anytune. I use this app for everything now. Of course, I use it for practicing and learning new songs. I also make playlists of the songs I need to learn for each band or performance I’m in. Since I play in the music department at church and we play songs very close to the recorded versions, I have a playlist for Sunday where I put the songs that we’re going to Do and I can concentrate on those or refer back to them quickly if I forget a part. Recently, I bought an iPad Pro. I could have purchased a different tablet and it would have every thing I wanted except the ability to use this app. I paid the few hundred dollars extra difference just so I could use this app on it. Yes, it is just that good! What is it that keeps this app from being the most perfect app in the universe that I could ever hope for? Recording capability. If it just had the ability to record over a track that was playing so that I could play it back and critique myself, I would probably go into orgasmic spasms of delight. Any hope of that guys?

Great but some minor set backs. I love how this app works but I have two problems with this app. 1:the song list can take a long time to load. 2: the songs can be buggy and go to the original speed during the song like wen u turn the iPod screen off Over all I love this app and think that it is a base app personally.

It's LOUD and invaluable for jamming out to!. What I bought this for was the bodacious A-B Repeat feature for nailing a riff or solo. But I discovered another awesome feature...it drives headphones/speakers louder than iTunes! Forget external DAC devices to boost output levels, this is all you need for decent quality at loud volume!

Excellent app. Being able to alter tempo and tone without losing much in quality is a huge plus for playing along with and practicing songs. The interface is a tad crowded, but this is fine given the functionality.

Great tool for mobile device. This app is a really useful tool for a mobile device and worth the cost of the optional packs that provide greater functionality. It is versatile and can be applied in both rehearsal, live environments and for certain audio recording applications. I have found this app also extremely helpful when arranging and reviewing original music ideas.

Good but not great. Downloaded this app as substitute to using an excellent piece of software called transcribe! which is made for pc. This app is good in terms of looping and raising the pitch, however altering the speed creates horrible cut up sound and distortion. Transcribe did a much better job of changing speeds. All up, this is a good app, but the speed function needs some work.

SENSATIONAL APP, A REAL BEAUTY !. A truly impressive Free App. The full-version (at Apple's extortionately priced Aussie iTunes is over $22AUD) is superfluous to a "spectator" like me; but would likely be a fine tool to Music's participants 'n pros alike. Thank you for this Free Version of the App (as-is) which is feature-packed, and so far, is: functioning perfectly, crash-less & with no errors. Cheers !

Does what it says. Great program.

Powerful. A powerful app, all sorts of parameters can be tweaked to your liking, very useful and highly recommended.

No Pitch Tuning. This software only changes pitch in semitones, so you will constantly have to retune your instrument like usual. If you're practicing with a number of songs and you tune to one song, it is virtually impossible to re-tune subsequent tracks to your instrument as songs are are not normal tuned in discreet semi or whole tones. THIS SOFTWARE NEEDS A FINE TUNER IN SLIDER OR KNOB FORMAT. IT IS POINTLESS CHANGING PITCH IN SEMI-TONES. MICRO-TONES ARE NEEDED.

Hidden Purchases. To use the full app will cost you quite a lot through multiple in-app upgrades... Every feature you want has to be purchased separately. Want to import a song/track after spending over 15$ already? Purchase individually to unlock each & every feature... Buyer beware.

Amazing App. This is one of the best apps I've had! As a guitarist this is a very useful app as you can slow down the song without changing the pitch and change the pitch without slowing or speeding up the song. Those are only just a few features of this app. Thanks!

Great app. A very useful app. Does exactly what I need it to do. Very handy for practicing. I find the bookmarks very helpful for practicing those parts that are tricky and the loop brilliant.

Sneaky but brilliant. You have to pay quite a bit to get the full value of this application, which is annoying, but when you do, it's just brilliant. Glad to pay for it. Has helped me a great deal.

It's also on my phone but is filled with annoying ads. Bummer. Since I DID pay for it!!! Oh well, it's an EXCELLENT program! (Especially as a music teacher/musician)..

Best in Class. This is the best music slowdown and pitch changer that I have found so far, although the paid version is a little pricey, you won't regret buying it as Anytune lets you assign multiple loops as well as markers, you can jump to markers with the touch of a button. and it remembers your loops/makers for each song in between sessions. I use this in conjunction with Ampkit+ to practice guitar bits and together this combo can't be beat.

Wish I had this thirty years ago!!!. This app is amazing! Makes learning any song possible! Very user friendly, I can’t think of anything to improve it aside from learning it for me!!!

It's the Real Deal. It takes a bit of time to learn all of the features, but if you need something, I'm sure it's there. It's great to be able to slow down music and to set the loops with such precision. This app is great for learning and rehearsing. A nice app!

Love it. For me it's main use has been the ability to tune down to match my piano which is about 0.3 flat, controls are great and easy to use, very satisfied.

Great app. I use it a lot in my music practices.. Being able to add marks to the audio waveform has proven to be very useful. Here’s another thing. I wonder if other users have found this. While learning a new song I become so familiar with the audio waveform scrolling across the screen that I can play the song while watching the audio waveform as if I was reading sheet music. I shut off the song’s audio but keep watching the audio waveform. It helps me with the timing as I play the song. I’m glad to learn that the paid version of the app has no tracking. I wish it was easier to understand the new tracking and privacy info on the App Store. I hope this feature evolves to give a better understanding.

Great app!. I play in a band and we now organize all our songs & background tracks with this great app. It has really simplified things for us & we haven’t yet explored all the other things this app can.

Nope. If I’m going to buy a pro version of any app, I fully expect that EVERYTHING be included. I will not pay for a less than fully functional app. Yeah, the app gets the job done, but it’s neither the only app in this category, nor is it necessarily the best.

Enormously helpful!. What a great tool! Super helpful for rehearsing … slow it down… speed it up …mark sections to return to … cycle a section ‘til you get it right. Amazing technology!

Awesome!. A must have! A great rehearsal tool! Only problem is it won’t work with Apple Music Songs - You have to buy the song before it will work in Anytune. Please fix this!!

Exellent over all. I wish it had more options to personalize the markers, this feature is very limited on the app , other than that is perfect, a must to have for any musisian!

Would Be 5 Stars. I would love to give this app 5 stars because it functions SO WELL. However, the fact that you cannot play Apple Music songs through the app and that half of the times, songs you’ve purchased through iTunes don’t even work...it can be frustrating. Especially if you’ve spent the extra money on the in-app upgrades and enhancements. This app will be AMAZING once that gets sorted and there are less glitches/bugs! -Ryan

Add-ons:(. I have the desktop and iOS version. The desktop is my favorite slow down app. It has one of the 3 best audio engines for slowed audio playback. That said I don’t like the add-ons for the iOS version. I bought a Pro version but not Plus so to import over WiFi will cost me another $4 as I used my 3 free ones. What a joke.

Amazing app. Whether you need to slow down the song to gradually learn a dance routine, match your voice to the right octave or just want to see how a song sounds when sung by the opposite gender...this app has it all covered.

Chipmunk Mode, Engage!. This is one of the coolest music apps ever! I love to change the chord that music is played in... it makes it feel like a completely different song. I love this! And turn up the tune of any song, and you have your own Chipmunk-o-matic!

Great for dancers. I’m a tap dancer, and this app is literally indispensable for my training and practice. There are so many pieces that would be absolutely out of reach for me if it hasn’t been for this app. It’s super easy to use and does what it says it does very well. Only improvement I could think of is to add the ability to scrub through a song on the lockdown (not just play/pause), but that’s fairly minor. I have it on my iPhone X and 5s — it crashes on the 5s now, which hampers me a little, but glad it still works on the X.

A+. Excellent learning tool for pro musicians. When I’m learning material I can now do everything I use logic x for on my laptop, on my phone. Loop sections, pan, tune, transpose. Well worth it.

Great for learning languages. I was looking for a player that could bookmark and loop sections of language learning clips. This app is great. I can even slow it down if they’re talking too fast, or change the pitch if the narrators voice is annoying. I wish the interface was a little more intuitive or something though, I’m able to use it well with minimal need for help, but sometimes I have to look up how to do things. Nothing major though. I can even sync between my iPad and phone for when I’m on the go and want to listen to some loops while on the subway. Great app! Keep it up

AnyTune. I like AnyTune because I can adjust the tempo as needed. But when you slow it down any talking gets slower and is harder to understand

Don’t use this app. Not unless they unlock everything behind one pay wall. This app will have you paying to import, paying to export, paying to EQ, paying to do basically everything an app should do but separately.

App doesn’t even work. This app was amazing for many different music purposes and for a long time it has been my favorite music editing app, however after the most recent update the app isn’t even working. Whenever I get on the app it just automatically crashes.

Anytune. I need an iphone app to transcribe some rather complicated psy-jazz passages. Twenty years ago I used a two-speed tape recorder and spliced my own loops. I just downloaded Anytune and upgraded to Pro. It works great! Thank you, Anytune engineers.

Worthless. First off I hate Apple Music but I downloaded it just because that's the only thing this app will use. Low and behold the first song I try to get it to work with, it won't because it says the music is "protected"."So what good is this app anyway? It's worthless.

Music and language learning tool. Anytune is a wonderful tool for learning music and language, which both involve phrasing, rhythm, pitch, and for songs and language, the articulation of sounds and words.

So useful. I am studying voice, and this app allows me to listen to songs I am working on, in the key and pace that I want to sing them. A fantastic learning tool.

Only 3 uploads allowed. I uploaded a song and it said it was corrupt i uploaded it again said it was corrupt i changed the file to a mp3 went to upload and it said i reached my maximum uploads when i only used 2 and i didnt get to experience the app, thanks!

Great app. Great app so far. I’m still trying to get familiar with since the only other program I’ve used is transcribe.

Indispensable tool. With the uke, if I need it slower, I can slow it down. If I have the uke tuned down, well I can lower the key. Just those 2 factors are an immense help, hug.

Love but.... Absolutely adore this app in everyway. Just two things. Siri wont work while i use it and when i try to live mix. It only work on the left side of my headphones

Once great. Prior to the last update this was a GREAT tool. Now DRM management has made it so that songs I bought no longer work with the app. I’m getting maybe 20% of the songs I used to be able to modify.

Files missing. Data was backup and still was missing my files when I purchased new device. Never again

Needs transcribe feature. There’s no transcribe feature. Competitor apps have them. Hating to have to choose to leave but the app is not progressing in sophistication and what musicians really need. AudioStretch has what I’m looking for and it’s cheaper. Considering I have the studio version of this app there should be functionality growth that makes sense for real life application use.

Got this app to change tempo from 118 to 111, app fell short in the first step.. Caption is all that’s needed. I’d assume it’s good outside of the main selling point, I’d assume it isn’t just a cash grab, but this is the only app I can find that will do the one thing I need, let alone know the tempo of the studio Acapella I’m working with, and yet I can’t just put the tempo to 111.
