Fantastically Groov-a-licious!!!. Every once in a while an app does something totally unique. This is one of those apps! Covers the world in ever expanding rainbows & more. A little effort is required to get the hang of the settings. The effects are worth it. ☼

FUN!. Lots of fun, especially for those who love a psychedelic touch to their photos. Take your time and play around with app, I'm still discovering things!

Something special. There is just something very unique, and ahead-of-its-time about this app. I think people don't see/understand fully what it is yet. I found it about a year ago and somehow keep coming back to it. I download and try an average of at least 30 apps per day. ..everyday... & have come to the realization that there isn't anything quite like this out there. Technically, I've found 2, or 3 which are in a somewhat similar app category, but none could hold my attention for more then 10 seconds, or do anything more then 1 basic effect. The person behind this app is a genius. I hope he/she gets the recognition they deserve one day. If you read this by chance... High five dude! ✋😊💙 I love your app. Thanks for making it! 👍✌️

Awesome app!. I have been using it for a while and all the effects are awesome! What would make the app better, though, is if it contained video mode... That would make the app a lot better!

I figured out the "crash" issue read this it will help. Just wanted to post this for those of you that have the Luminancer app and it keeps crashing. Go to your general settings and turn the auto lock off. This is what shuts the screen off when your phone goes idle and causes this app to stop recording.

Awsome. I don't quit know how to use it but ill get the hang of it.i want to make the hand effect on the third picture and the last one.

This is the best app I have ever come across.. As a glover this has allowed me to become so much more experimental with my shows and even turn finger shows into light shows. Highly recommend for any sort of flow artists. Love it man, great work!

Crashes. Giving 1 star because you can't give 0.. This app is cool in its effects but I can't get anything saved and it crashes after a minute or two. Once you actually get it through a minute of recording library videos it still has trouble. Your video comes out upside down and has an error saving to your phone library. This app needs a HUGE bug update.

X L Lent!. One of the BEST camera apps on iTunes! I currently have 43 camera apps and THIS is one of my faves. If you like camera apps, this is really one of the best I've purchased.

Feed your Head. This one nails it for the psychedelic pix and video. Kinda wish you could upload pix and/or video from camera roll. You CAN save it to camera roll though. Wish vids would sync into iMovie to create....they won't.....

Not Fair-Not for iPad.?.?really.?.?. This app is sold as an iPhone app and an iPad app. Not fair because even though it can work on the iPad it is only used in Portrait mode not landscape. I find this deceptive. I don't think the author meant to be deceptive I guess but one shouldn't charge a fee and list it on the iPad only. Other than that... This app is the BOMB.

Save yourself the frustration.... I tried using this app years ago to record videos of my LED hoop and I stopped using it because always ended up frustrated. I redownloaded it to give it enough try because I thought the issues would have been repaired, but nope. The same issues are still there. The app mostly either ends up stuck on a loading screen after I’ve recorded a video or just crashes altogether. It doesn’t seem to like videos over a minute or so, which isn’t conducive to dancing or getting in any kind of flow... It seems like these issues have been brought up in reviews for awhile now and I wish they would be resolved, I love the look of the tracers but I don’t even get to enjoy the effect since it doesn’t load half of the time.

App crashes and doesn't always save videos. Bought the app thinking it was solid. Very neat features. Took the most epic video ever... and then it didn't save. Sometimes the videos save and sometimes they do not. There are bugs that need to be fixed!! The app also crashes regularly. *very buggy* I will give five stars once these bugs are addressed. Thanks.

Wonderful. This is truly a really really fun and interesting app. I love it. It works well and perfectly for my shows and visual displays. Keep it going. And THANK YOU!

Having issues. At first the app was working but now it won’t let me use it on my videos!! It keeps zooming in on my videos for some reason! Really annoyed because I wanted this app for while and now that I have it, it doesn’t even work for what I want it for!! Please fix it!!!!!!!

Video Import No Longer Properly Supported. I used to love this app. The video feedback simulation is great. However, I used to be able to import videos and apply all effects easily. Now importing a video appears to crop it or simply squeeze/expand the image to fill the app’s canvas, thus not allowing you to really see what you’re doing or gauge how you’re applying effects. The app always felt a little glitchy, unpredictable and unstable, but this really pushes it over the edge. Such a shame. Please consider fixing this.

Fix the crashing. Sometimes when I put a video for my camera roll in it it crashes but overall it's a really good app just please fix the crashing thank you.

Awesome app!. This app does what is does well. I love music festivals and all the different flow arts that come with it. This app is absolutely perfect for any of those people who enjoy gloving or any other flow and would like to add a nice touch to their recordings.

Scales for Decay & Threshold. I like the app - I use it for LED hoop and fire sessions and often get some really trippy stuff. I’d like to see scales added to the Decay and Threshold controls so that once I get a setting I like, I can reproduce the effect the next session. Thanks for developing this !!!

Crashes galore :/. I'm giving it 3 stars only because the app in theory is amazing and I'm having a lot of fun with it. But I'm also very frustrated with it because I paid for an app that 7 out of 10 times won't play back the video I recorded. So I shoot this video after experimenting with the special effects and then it loads indefinitely not allowing me to view it. If this issue is resolved I will be more than happy to give the app 5 stars!

Genius. This app is amazing - I use it for making art (mobile editing) - I hope the developers continue to develop this gem! 👍

It's okay.. I've had this app for years now and there are definitely still things that need to be worked on. Overall it works great for short videos, but I've found that I cannot save anything that is longer than about 2 minutes. The app gets stuck on a loading screen until it crashes altogether, and there is no way to recover the video you just took and lost. There needs to be some type of backup so that in the event someone loses their footage to a crash they can go back to it. Another downside is that, while you can upload your own video and watch it through the app with the effects, you can't save it. You can only take photos while the video plays, which doesn't make much sense to be honest. Other than that, as long as you record short videos it'll work. I'll be honest, I'm sorely disappointed in the lack of things that really should have been common sense.

Its a great app. It does a incredible job with very good features... As a big explorer of image creation, i would like to suggest somethings to increase the power of controlling light. Maybe an exposure slider and locker would be interesting to control light and work with the effects... Also if was possible to import clips from library... I imagine if i was able to select the "main color" that i want the effect to apply with touching the screen or even even a color pallet or slider. Anyways, i bought the app because i saw a really good result and potential! Thank you for the creation!

Super fun. Totally worth it.. I’ve spent hours just messing around with this. Only had one crash were i lost a video. As long as your careful about giving it time to load a video you just took and hitting the right buttons, you’ll be fine. Totally worth the money.

Interesting. A very cool, constantly changing way to manipulate the world. It seems to be less about control and more about riding the effects until something rad happens. Be quick on the trigger though, it descends into chaos rather quickly. Which can be cool too. Depends on what you want. I feel like I need to practice at it, so it feels game-like. Beyond all else, trippy as hell

Lumin nance it. Versatile photo art app that you have to experiment with in all lighting conditions. I'm just getting started on this, but the tech behind it is very cool. Manipulation of light or dark on sensor. What happens in black light? How about fireworks? Glow sticks?

Problem. I downloaded it and the first time I used it, it crashed 3 times. My phone would lock and it would say error and then it wouldn't save to my phone even though it said it did. I would really like to use it and check out what it has but It keeps crashing.

It’s great but... I love this app but over the past 2 years I’ve taken some absolutely amazing videos that I really held close to my heart and there’s nothing more frustrating than your video not loading. Can’t save it or rewatch it the video is just in limbo. This continuously happens to me and I’m starting to wonder why I paid for an app that brings me sadness and frustration? If you could figure out how to make this app JUST A LITTLE more hi-tech it might be worth it. Seems like it hasn’t advanced since I found it two years ago?

One of the first and still the best!. Have been using this app since day one and still use it all the time. The developer gets back with you almost instantly if there’s an issue and there are rarely any issues. The app is cool and easy to navigate and I love the UI. There’s just something special about this app that allows me to make some really interesting affects. Granted it doesn’t do everything like some people want it to but unfortunately in the iOS realm you have to use multiple apps sometimes. I’ve been beta testing apps for over 10 years and I see the work/time that is put into making some of these apps and it is brilliant. Always a fan of this app and always will be. Thank you for making it and I’ll tell you I still love love love the new icon!!! Sorry about rambling on but if you don’t have this app and you like video effects then this is an app you need in your arsenal!

I love this app!!. This is by far one of the most fun apps to play around with. If you want to take psychedelic pictures, this is the app for you!

Crashes. Playing with it 3 minutes and crashed 3 times. Interesting and easy to use. Also, loses your last settings when restarts which is kinda irritating if you've found something you like.

VJ Footage Made By You!. The best thing about this app are the effects and the fact that you can record video of yourself with the front facing camera or of someone else with the rear camera, and then save it to your Camera Roll... You can then use this footage in software for VJ-ing Like VJay. Worth the 99 cents for sure! I wonder if it has a COMPOSITE Out feature.... That would make this more awesomer and more effects and realtime interactivity.

WONT SAVE VIDEOS!!!😠. It's a good app that has great effects but the only thing that's making me dislike it is that it won't save my videos. It's so annoying that I will do the best video and I can't even post it anywhere cuz it didn't save. If I'm spending money on this app it should at least do its purpose and save videos.

Absolutely Fantastic. This app is fantastic for creating media to be used on projection and LED walls. I hope the developers plan to incorporate an input/output feature for external ins and outs. More effects and being able to store presets would be awesome as well. Favorite app of all time by far.

NIFTY & FUN. Really easy to use. I got instant good results because of how simple it is to use. I've tried this sort of app before, but others have had too large a learning curve for this senior citizen. Thank you, I'm enjoying your app!

I like this app!. I think it’s a good purchase for $3. Traces the light from your flow toys and it looks really pretty. I wish there was a way to put color traces on videos already recorded.. not sure if there is not but I haven’t figured it out?!

Awesome BUT. Awesome app I love it but I hate that it always glitches and randomly doesn't save videos. I also don't like how it randomly refocuses and causes the video to be blurry. I feel as though the camera is not as good while using the app. Overall the app is awesome! Just very frustrating at times. It's definitely worth the purchase especially if these things get fixed 😊 I also wanted to say that I did turn my auto lock OFF and still the videos do not save sometimes 😥

Fantastic. This app is absolutely wonderful, and unlike (to the best of my knowledge) any of the (many) photography apps out there too. Like a 60s psychedelic/early 70s blacklight poster made flesh. Highly highly recommended.

Pick photo from library. This might be nice but it needs the select your photo from library feature.

IN NEW UPDATE. I just downloaded and paid for this app I was excited to download it but when I went to record me spinning poi I was wondering why it kept locking while I was recording and it wouldn't save my video it would crash or tell me error occurred while processing or something like that

Nice!. This app is awesome sauce! Been testing it for a little bit. The effects are nice. It has and crash yet despite the last review and I'm running a 6+. I think it's really cool. I'd absolutely like to see more effects in the future!

Artistically Amazing! Hoping for an update soon???. It's been over a year. The potential in this app is truly beyond powerful... I'd love to see the devs take full advantage of this awesome app and not let this little gem fall to the wayside... Please consider a future update!

Great effects!. Really interesting app. Its bringing me back to some days and some fond memories! Hey developer- it's hard to get in touch with you! Please note. At the moment-the SWAP button does not appear on the Iphone 4. I know its hard to be aware of all these devices but perhaps you could send over a fix!

Videos Zoomed In. Anytime I try to upload a video to add trails it zooms the video in and will not let me zoom out. I don’t think the sliders are “sensitive” enough. Maybe sensitive isn’t the right word. But there’s no good in between trail for what I’m looking for, it’s either too much or too little, and not even the right colors of the LEDs from my prop. I’ve tried downloading and redownloading 4 times in the last few years. I’ve had different iPhones during this as well. I’m not sure what the problem is since so many other people have success with it..but then again others haven’t either soo...

It’s great!. So the first review I saw was from the person that says you can’t save a video..... YOU CAN, you just have to hit the record button while watching the video lol. So you can start watching the video, pick a place to start recording and a place to stop, and then it gives you the option to save. I haven’t actually recorded a video using the app, so I guess we’ll see how it goes. I also saw in another review someone said you can record anything longer than 2 mins but why would you? No one is going to watch anything longer than like 30 secs lol plus you can use your phone camera and record a longer video, then upload it to the app and pick the section you’d like to save.

Love but so many issues. This is one of my favorite apps for editing videos where I play with LED props but it drives me nuts how many bugs there are with the saving of videos. I've had this app for years and love the effects they give but what's the point if I can't save my stuff that's a certain length, or not at all! Please fix this stuff guys I don't want to stop using this app

App has changed in a bad way.. Honestly I want my money back. The app used to make trails on everything. Like if you wave your hand in front of the camera there would be trails behind it. Which was awesome. BUT NOW....it seems they took everyone's money who bought the app, and then downgraded the software and made it pretty much worthless. No more trails. I got this app to make hoop videos for my girlfriend. Now it's just stupid. Completely useless. I thought the updates would make it better, not worse. Is it cheaper to run the app like this? Or did y'all just make a silly mistake? Either way it's a bad choice. Give us back the old Luminancer and I'll be happy!!

Takes me back to 1969…. This is a very innovative app. It's the best I've used for creating trippy images and videos. It's a great tool for creating psychedelic art. Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to new versions…

Great fx live. Fun effects.. However the interface doesn't flip around for landscape use.. Not a deal breaker though as the fx live look awesome

Upside down videos. This app would be really sweet if it didn't ruin all my videos by turning them upside down. I can't believe I paid money for this. It's also fairly slow at exporting videos.

Not worth the money. Not user friendly and over edits everything. I bought it to add tracers to my poi videos and I wish I hadn’t. You don’t have to respond to me luminancer. You won’t change my mind and I don’t care to “resolve” any issue with the app.

Dissapointed. The first day I fgot the app it worked perfectly. Now whenever I go to take a video it stops recording in the middle of it and nothing is saved. I really wish it would work because the effects were awesome. Fix this please!

Horrible. Unreliable, every time I use it it crashes. Very disappointing especially since it's a PAID app. I counted on it to work correctly. It hasn't not crashed once I have been able to use it since I bought it. Please fix soon.

Photo library accessibility. This would be a five-star app if it would allow users to modify videos from their own libraries.

Like a good musical instrument. Great app, very fun, very deep. You can get results from it right away but enough practice will turn you into a Luminancer virtuoso.

Won't open/ closed right away. I bought this app lastnight and it worked fine. Now for some reason it doesn't stay open for more than 1 second. Constant crashes waste of money.

App crashed on auto lock. Just bought my iPhone 6s 128gb and this app. First two videos, app crashed as soon as the phone auto locked twice in a row. I shouldn't have to turn auto lock off to make it work 😏

Trippy. Lots of photo apps out there that do the same things--or close to it. First one like this and from a quick test, the possibilities seem endless.

Wack. Just bought this app and it compresses and stretches all my videos and makes them look really strange. all the settings are really confusing and I really don’t understand what to even do with it. Bought it to edit my led hoop and flow wand videos but it seems like it was a waste of money so far. Wish I could return.

Won't save videos. This is a good app but when I hit the save button an error message pops up and It won't let me save anything I record.

Fix this app. If it cannot be used perhaps you should fix it, stop offering it for sale, or refund those who bought it but cannot make use of it. Not pleased at all.

Eh. Apps cool but I paid 2.99 for something that apparently just doesn’t work on my brand new iPhone . Wont let me save any videos , and upon trying to contact anyone their website won’t pull up an email , don’t have Facebook or Twitter , and their privacy policy doesn’t have anything so now I have no clue why I paid for it :/ lame

Saves in my phone upside down. I love the app, but the fact that every time I save a video it records upside down to my camera roll. Then I have to download another app to flip it. PLEASE FIX!

Really cool effects but.... I really love the effects but the fact that i paid money for this app and it is not loading the videos i take makes it a RIPOFF. I have been waiting longer than 15 min for a 3 min video, a few times, in Which my video never loads.

Used to be fine. I had this app with my iPhone 8 and I used to be able to use this app perfectly with no issues. Upgraded to the iPhone XR and now my videos are zoomed in and can’t zoom them out

One thing. I wanted this app to be able to do one thing, and that was to create a Halo affect around an image in a photo. If it actually does this I cannot figure out how. There are some interesting effects but nothing that I want to use

Doesn't work. Bought this app in hopes of using it more than once but this app continues to force close and will not save any of the edited versions of my videos. So I only successfully used this app once. Really unhappy with this app and wish I wouldn't have spent any money on it.
