Love the simplicity!. This is just what I was looking for- a way to keep track of spending without having to jump through hoops. I give it 4 stars because I would like to be able to edit the categories more. I wish I could open a Medical folder and hit the subcategory Dentist and maybe even assign that to a person. Right now you just scroll through a huge list you can't edit trying to find just the right thing before you give up and have to add yet another item. Fix the organization and I'd be more than happy to change my review!

Perfect app for what I wanted. Great simple app for someone who doesn't want everything automatically categorized by a program. I pay more attention to my spending by having to input everything manually rather than having an app track all my accounts. 1 addition I would like would be to make the budget somehow cut off at the end of the month so your budget starts fresh the next month. Other than that I love the app thanks!

Love it!. Use this app daily. Easy to use and handy app. I just wish you could change the duration of time to every two weeks instead of one where I get paid biweekly. Well worth the .99 if you are anal about knowing how much money you have at all times.

Great App!. I keep track of my weekly expenses simply and accurately. I have used this app for over a year with no problems.

Easy to use. Helps save me money!. Best dollar spent. Helps keep track of spending very easily. I especially like that what I over- or under- spent can be carry over to the following week. Four stars instead of five because I think it would be a nicer app if there's an option to put aside money for a particular item. Also, when putting in category, it would be nice if I could just type it in instead of having to create a new category. That way, I would know what I spent it on more accurately (i.e. starbucks vs coffee).

Keeps me Conscious. This app is very useful for managing regular spending of what is left over after routine bills are paid. I don't use it as a hard and fast rule or limit, but rather as a means of staying conscious of my spending. The UI is so simple it takes literally 5 seconds to enter whatever I just spent. Great design.

Great. This app is so helpful. Been saving money since I started using this to track what I spend.

Retiree. I usually abandon apps if they aren't awesome, and I'm happy to report that I've used this one tor two months now! It's super easy to use and has helped me stay under budget almost every week. Simple concept really: being aware of what you're doing as you do it allows for critical thinking to take place.

Easy to use!!. Allows you to enter your own spending categories, in addition to a provided list. Simple display, not cluttered with useless or complicated extras. If you want to keep track of a simple weekly budget, this is the app!

Simple , easy to use. Start keying in all the nonsense we spend each day on gas, coffee , lunch, eating out, groceries, movies etc and you will be more aware of where all you money goes..it's depressing but after reviewing a few weeks worth I was more conscious of my spending and felt as if I was spending my money smarter. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a simple tool to use to keep track of my money and not one that linked my bank account and bills etc. This makes it very easy to see how much money I have to spend to make my budget.

Perfect for the iPad. This app is A+. It is effective, intuitive to use, and brutally honest! Finally the right tool to allow me to finally track my spending. It is even fun to use. It tracks your spending for each week and allows you to review your history of spending easily - categorizing everything. I cannot recommend it more highly - worth every penny.

Fantastic app. I have a very limited budget and this really helps me keep track of my spending - its fantastic! Only change I'd make is to allow users to view their spending patterns over an entire month as well.

Amazing Budget App!. I love using this app on a daily basis to help keep track of my spending and to stay on budget as best as I can :). There are definitely some things that could be added or improved like anything in life, such as maybe adding the option to put a description of what I'm buying instead of just putting the category, and maybe having the ability to edit the time of when I made my purchase with the exact time instead of just having "about ____," but overall it is a very useful, user friendly and effective app for managing your day-to-day and weekly finances. I highly recommend it! :)

Love it because it works off line, but. Wish it would add all the weeks of expenses together so I can see my spending over the month/year. Also, wish I could have 2 or 3 separate accounts so I can keep track of more than just my pocket money.

Display issues. Almost every screen is cut off. Can’t view anything properly.

Great!. I'm a high school student saving up for college. This helps me set a budget and stick to it. I wish it could track what I was spending my money on and I wish it would carry over more than just one week. Other than that it's simple and easy to use! I just love it.

BEST APP EVER!!. I've had this app for a couple of years now. I love it because I no longer have to check my account balance at the bank. I keep track of all my spending and deposits when I leave the store or make a deposit. So far my budget app has matched my bank account to the penny!!! Also great for reference as you can go back months, even a year to see what and when you spent or received money. I highly recommend this app!!

Scam! Terrible app. Buyer beware.. downloaded the weekly budget but really needed the monthly budget. After spending money to upgrade, I can’t even get the “budget +” to open. I’m sure I got scammed. Can’t believe Apple would allow such an app in the App Store.

Love it!. I love this app. It's very easy to enter spending and it allows for adding your own category. It also gives you the option to change your budget or carry over any balance. The weird thing is the categories-for example, food is broken down into Chinese, Thai, Italian, etc. Most people don't monitor that spending but they would wonder how much is spent on pizza. Pros-very easy to use Cons-can't go back to previous week if you forgot an entry, weird categories Suggestion-allow for you to see total spent per category, for example: how much do I spend on pizza every month? Also, allow to move most use categories to the top

My WB. This is easy to use and helpful. I would like to be able to tailor the categories more to my own habits. But it does work and I use it a lot. Extremely easy to keep track of where money goes each week.

The best app to micro budget. It’s like having an allowance for when you're older. I personally use it for my non-bill related transactions. Things like coffee, meals, gas, and day to day expenses. The single best feature is that you can set the starting date for your budget each week. Not everyone wants to start on a Sunday or a Monday. I start mine on Friday so that know if is did a good job and stayed under budget all week, I can spend a little more on the weekend. If not, then try harder next week. The interface for adding entries is fast, simple, only needs two items of info. The amount and any category. I created a few custom categories that are generic enough to cover most interactions or you can use it to get very detailed.

Easy!. This app is so simple I love it! Just enter what you spend and it will automatically subtract it from your weekly budget! You can also make your own categories and set them as favorites so their easy to find Highly recommend this app if you need a simple budgeting app

Perfect for easy money management!. Easy to use, handy and very helpful for a simple weekly budget. It recently added a feature that lets you download your budget history onto your computer through iTunes - very helpful! You can create your own spending categories, arrange your favorites, and it counts down the week and how much money you have left. I highly recommend it - good value for 99cents, a great app!

Ms.. The concept is exactly what I was looking for, but once the new week starts you can't change anything for the last week. For example, I forgot to put in dinner last night and my new weeks starts today, I can't fix that. Also, if you choose to carry over money from last week, or choose not to, you can't go back and change your mind. As long as you make no mistakes, this app is great, but I wish it was a little more flushed out that way.

Perfect for tracking flexible spending. Most apps give way more features than I need and end up confusing my budget. This app is simple and quick so I actually use it. Just enter a quick purchase (takes seconds) as I walk out of a store.

Love this app. This is a really helpful app that is easy to use and track spending. I really wish I had the option to use previous carry over in a specific "saving" category without adding it to current weekly budgets. This would help me see how much I have been saving, in case I want to make a big purchase or save my roll over money for a vacation.

Easy. Everything is easy besides when you want to add money. Can be a little tricky but not awful!

Practical and reasonable app. Easy to use for casual tracking of expenses. I like how it does not require balancing of deposits and expenditures. I'm not a budget minded person and don't care to detail all my income, savings and spending. This app allows me to set a weekly limit. If I meet it, then "yay". If I don't, I can carry the negative amount over to the next week to try again. I like it. It doesn't want too much from me.

Very useful app.. I awoke this morning thinking it would help to track my food spending weekly to stay on budget, and viola!, here is the perfect app for it. The interface is quite simple and makes inputting transactions a cinch. The one downside is that I would like to have per-category budgets be an option, so I could see how much I have left to spend on food separately from what remains to spend on pets, etc.

Excellent. This has been one of the best tools I have ever used to stay within a structured budget and save money, it takes dedication on your behalf to input information but the user interface is easy to navigate and allowed me to finally make smarter choices on where my money went.

My Weekly Budget, from Mr. Very Pleased. I’m very pleased with M.W.B. It’s a no-brainer, straight forward app without unnecessary rhetoric. It’s simple to set up and presents me with an immediate view of my balance. Just in case my phone explodes, I do keep my checkbook alive. However, I have depended on My Weekly Budget app to the fullest.

Nice app. It does what is says and works. I like the simplicity of it. Comes in handy when I'm on vacation and have a budgeted amount I'm able to spend for the week. Like that it's customizable to a certain extent. Only criticism, which doesn't affect the operation of the app in any way is I hate the app icon. Doesn't visualize something to do with money. Looks like an icon you would use for a calendar app. Passed over it many times. Hopefully the developers will update that one day.

Easy to use, does what it says.. Perfect day to day expense tracker for out of pocket spending. Keeps a nice running history, carrying over the balance from the previous week (optional) is a nice touch. I use this app in conjunction with iBank for my Mac and I really have a stranglehold on my personal finances thanks to both apps.

Simple tracking. Really like this for the simplicity of keeping track of spending money or miscellaneous expenses. However I agree that there needs to be a fortnightly option!!!

Easy to use. They have done a good job in keeping it very simple to use. People won't use it otherwise. Putting a little extra time in setting up your own categories is well worth it. It's then very quick and easy to enter data. Well done. An Aussie version would be excellent.

Great app. Hopefully the developers reads these comments to further improve. I also like the idea of adding notes to purchases, and Maybe add the option of pay frequencies to fortnightly as well please.

Very useful. Great for keeping track of spending. Easy to use. I only wish there were more functions to analyse entries, e.g. Week to week spending on groceries, average weekly spend per category. For this reason 4 rather than 5 star.

Not bad.. My pay isn't always the same amount soooo it can be a bit difficult to work. But I like the functions. Maybe adding multiple accounts could be an option because I have a couple...

Best app for keeping track of $. I use this app every day, I don't know how I managed without it! I love how it is so fast and easy to use. I enter every expense I make during the day in about 2 seconds each. Makes budgeting a breeze!

Weekly budget app review. I have had great use if this app. I use it for my weekly spending such as groceries, take away, hair dresser, coffee... All those little things you tend to forget. One thing Im missing in this app is to gain a monthly and annual review of the spending with the option to group into different categories. All in all an easy tool, thank you!

Only minimal options. Sadly, I was under the impression that I was buying an app for the ease of budgeting my income vs expenses. I suppose if this app is only to plan a budget of how much money spare you have each week after bills, then it'll do. I didn't want this type of app, but I didn't know that until after I bought it. Lucky for me I found a better suited app, for free :) I wanted to input bills, social/occasional expenses, recurring expenses, income etc. Sorry, not the app for me :(

Great app for everyday. This is a really handy app to have-I use it everyday and it's great. Would like to be able to write notes on expenditure, but it's still excellent.

Great app. This is an easy app to use, i have tried a lot of budgeting apps and i always come back to this one. The simplicity is beautiful and quick to use as you spend ,making it easy to record transactions.

Simple but powerful. As someone just starting to track my expenses, I have found this app easy to use and a powerful reminder of where my money goes. I like that I can add any expense in a few keystrokes at the point of purchase which means I never forget to do it. It has been an easy habit to adopt. Anything more complicated would have seen me abandon the project! The export facility is good too - I can keep a record and compare spending patterns. I am beginning to change my spending patterns because I can see clearly the impact it has on my finances. Well worth the price.

Not enough options. It seems like an awesome app BUT it doesn't have a fortnightly option! Considering ALL teachers get paid fortnightly that's a huge market you are missing out on!! Also if you could input regular weekly/fortnightly bills to stop you having to put them in each week/fortnight it would make it more user friendly.

Good app. Easy to use. Can back date payments have forgotten to enter. Can't do reoccurring costs. Haven't used feature of sending data elsewhere to chart as yet... Would be good if offered a chart like spending app but that kept crashing.... This is simple clear and easy to use.

Does exactly what I need it to do. I use this app to track my discretionary spending on entertainment and stuff I generally do not need. It's ideal for me as it carries overspending and underspending to the next week. It helps me to stick to my set budget as I keep track of my spending regardless of how I access the funds. I was previously having to calculate how much I had taken from my wallet in cash or spent on card. Recommended for anyone looking for a very simple budgeting app that you will actually use.

Great way to stay on track. Been using this now for a few days and love it. It's so convenient to have right there on my phone. No longer need to keep a whole lot of paper dockets in my wallet! Makes me more aware of where I'm spending and how I can save. Would like to be able to sync it onto computer as well.

Fantastic Application, Highly Recommend!. I love this application, it is so useful and easy to use. You just put in what your weekly budget is and type in the item you've bought and how much it cost when you buy it and it keeps track of your expenses and how much money you have left!

Keeps me organised. Love this app. Great to keep track of weekly spending adding my own descriptions or using the ones already created. No need for a calculator.

Great app! Helpful to track your spending. I've been using for months now and is really helpful to monitor your budget and control your spending. I hope they could also create an app where you can customize either to weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Good app but could improve. Great app. Simple to use but there is one feature which they really need to update. They need a feature in which you can check your aggregate spending so you know how you spend your money over time, not just on weekly time frames

Not the prettiest, but excellent app. Okay, so this is not going to win awards for looks, but actually using this app is very, very simple and effective. The key tasks for this type of app are fast to load and fast to enter data. This app ticks both boxes. The simple summary message at the end of a week, and simple yes/no option to carry budget surplus/deficit over to the next week is a great touch. Very glad I bought it. Excellent tool!

Simple and effective. I have been using this app for a couple of months and love it. I've used detailed spreadsheets and other tools to manage money, but they were time consuming and were not as effective in keeping me on budget. My fixed bills and expenses are already accounted for, so I just want to know how much disposable income I have to work with and this is exactly what this app does. It is so easy to use and has a nice interface. I love how you can carry over a negative or positive balance each week. I always know how much I have to spend and the app keeps me on budget! Some people might appreciate a 2-week model to coincide with their pay period, but I actually like working with a weekly model as I think it keeps me in check with my spending.

Good. Wish it had pie charts

Simple but needs more meat!. I like that it has a week to week budget, which is what I really needed, but it lacks the ability to add notes (eg. Big grocery bill bc we had guests) and a way to take a picture of the receipt for a particular expense. It is cool that it lets you know when you're reaching your budget limit and tells you along the way how much you have left to spend. That's definitely my favorite feature.

What you see is what you get. Simple, elegant, highly functional ans useful. This application makes me pay more attention to my expanses, which is exactly what I needed.

Doesn't disappoint. I've purchased a few apps that don't come near expectations. This one is simple and yet flexible, modifying transactions and categorizing. It's so easy to use that it's become a daily tool, and regrettably an eye opener when it comes to spending. Worth every penny.

Eh.. This is an ok app. It's low quality and its not worth paying for. I decided after using it, I would rather have a monthly budget to pay bills and so on. However, to do that, you have to spend even more money on an upgraded version of the app. Surprising a budget app is trying to rip you off.

Can't assign budgets for categories. I just started using this and was disappointed as I had hoped to be able to track three separate categories each week to see how I was doing in each (babysitting expenses, groceries, & dining out). Had I just wanted to do one amount I think this would be great.

My Weekly Budget. This app is No.1, it does everything I need to keep track of ALL my expenditures and it is versatile enough to make adjustments. Have been using it daily for over a year. APP WELL DONE!!

Good app. Simple, easy to use and efficient. Allows you to have a weekly fixed amount, and track category's. Probably limited compared to more expensive apps but has enough utility for most people.

Love it!. Great budgeting tool. Very basic which is what I need. The only thing I do wish was that it has a "notes" part. Otherwise it's great. I use it daily. (Although I'm trying not too spend daily)

Like it. I find myself using this app more that I do the registrar for your checkbook. It is a lot easier for me to keep track of my spending. Plus I always have my phone one me.

Easy to Use!. I am terrrrrrible at budgeting. This is the first thing that has ever helped me to have any finacial discipline. I would like it to have a bit more functions that you can grow into as you master the basics. I'd even pay for more functions like budget vs actual, forecasting etc.

Simple and efficient. This app does what it says it does. It's simple and clear. Nothing fancy. Perfect for a kid to track their allowance or for an adult who just wants to track their day to day expenses. I'm on track to save for my holiday to Barbados because of this app!

Ummm it's okay. This app was a bit of a disappointment to me as I have Mint to help with my monthly budget and Mint connects with my bank account and automatically adds my purchases. This one is all manual. On a positive note, you can add your own spending categories and it's very simple to use.

Love this app.. Just wish it broke down expenses. I love this app. I am a graduate student and therefore need to budget a lot! I just wish the app had a pie chart or something at the end of the month that showed you where you spend your most money and could show you where to cut back

It's ok for simplicity but..... I like the fact that it is simple and easy to use except I wish there is a way to add return and automatically add back the amount that I got money back from returning the merchandise I purchased previously. Then I don't have to go through he hassle of adding the amount to my current budget.

Great but. Love the application , but like to be able to add a note to the purchase. Also would like the amount to be deducted at the date that i assign the purchase , like for payments and not deducted when I enter it

Easy to use. Convenient way to keep a budget for daily expenses. The category options for purchases was a bit lacking but it's easy to add your own.

Fabulous. Super easy to use. Clean interface. Only gives you what you need. Just plug in your weekly budget and organize your favorites categories to get started. Don't see a shopping category you need? No problem... Simply create a custom category of your own. Especially like that I can roll over any negative spending into the next week to try to tighten up my budget. Best app I've found to keep my credit card spending in check✔️.

Just right. This app does just enough - and not too much. Simple to use, and it lets me know where my money is going. Perfect for what I want it for. And yes, I use the Bagels category. :-) Perhaps I also have a food addiction.

Easy to use but also simplistic. I agree with the other reviewer that it would be nice to be able to delete some of the random pre-populated categories, but in general, this beats recording what I spend in a notebook.
