Tested. It worked with a short video I made with action movie. I have the black appletv and the iPod touch. Can only play 2 videos per day unless you buy the app (in app purchase).

Works sometimes. Not that pleased with this app

App freezes when opened. Can't use this app at all, as soon as it opens it loads my photos, but then I can't do anything from their because it freezes. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times but no matter what it doesn't work.

AirPlay & my IPhone 4. I made a quick 1 minute video on my IPhone 4 and it streamed to my Apple TV (black box) as promised. All wirelessly. Ain't technology grand? Thank you Apple!!!!

Almost great. This app works great except when the phone goes to sleep in the autolock the video stops playing. Please fix. I would have given it five stars if the video didn't stop playing

Slow. This is also a demo which limits you to playing 2 videos a day

Doesn't work.. Brand new Apple TV. Brand new iPhone 4S. It compresses the video, shows a still image and after numerous minutes of loading it still won't play. After trying another video I got a message saying I only get 2 plays each day. Deleted from phone immediately.

Bought It. I think the App is great. Watched a couple of my iPhone videos. Quality was tremendous on my Apple TV. Bought the .99 cent version. I definitely recommend it this App. I love it!!

AirPlay icon never showed up???. Didn't work for me and I have the latest update. The icon never shows up for me to use airplay.

Apple tv. When I saw the update on apple tv allowed streaming of media from the ipad 2 I was disappointed because there was no support for iPod. This app is awesome anyone who says it doesn't work probably don't have the current os. Cool app. Awesome.

Works with Verizon iPhone. I own a Verizon iPhone running the latest iOS update for this version of the phone. I purchased an apple tv 2 shortly after and was dismayed that I could not airplay from my camera roll to the apple tv. Well this app did what apple could not or simply not yet. I can take video or create using iMovie and airplay to my apple tv. Thank you so much!

Crashes!. I have a 2g iPod touch with software of 4.2.1 How come I can't use airplay?

Not Necessary on iPhone 4s. I was dumb and bought this app before I tried the remote app. It did nothing for me that wasn't already accomplished through existing software.

Freezes up at startup. Open app, it pops up a message to choose a video in my camera roll. I click ok, but my screen stays sort of dim and frozen. Tried several times. I'm on 4.3.3. Deleted app.

Not necessary. Why buy this app when the airplay button is already available when playing your video directly from photos app?

Outstanding!!!!! :). Great job on this app! It works wonderfully! I took a iPhone video of my son at karate and arrived home shortly after. I then proceeded to airplay the video from my iPhone to Apple TV (without iTunes on at my computer). Amazing video and audio quality on the TV. I'm so thrilled with this app and so is my son. Now he can watch his karate moves on TV versus the iPhone. Look forward to future updates with excitement!

Doesn't work. I used the free one didn't work, bought it thinking it would, it didn't. A major update needs to be released ASAP.

QuickPlay for Airplay. YEAH! this latest version works! I am having sound issues with some clips but it does stream all of my videos to the apple tv. The screen to tell you where you want to send them does not come up first so you tend to miss some video. The order of operations maybe improved. But You folks are making good progress as the first version I tried did nothing. This one works. Thanks

It Works Now. Thanks to the new update it works now. Thanks to the developer for getting it to work for us. What I do not understand is why Apple could now do this themselves with all there resources. To the developer: I am not complaining, I thank you for the app because Apple has done nothing to address this problem. I would like to make some suggestions: Video quality could be a lot better if you can change the compressions, if not thats ok, the video quality as is, is ok. Once the video file is compress, there should be a place to save it in the app because every time you want to watch the same video again you have to go through the compression again. Thanks again for the app

Does not work after purchase. I downloaded and used it, it works great until you try to play more than 2 videos, then it says you have to upgrade to paid version. You pay and nothing happens except they take your money. The app doesn't change or work after you pay.

Not free. Stopped playing halfway through my first video(2 min). Then I tried to start again. Nope. On third try I got a message stating only 2 views per day and to upgrade to full version. Why wasn't this info in the description?! Junk.

Works well. I too was disappointed I could not play videos from my iPhone to my new Apple TV. This app works well. At first the audio would not play. But after adjusting the Apple TV audio check option it works great.

Unreliable and outdated. Look at how many people dislike this this thing because it never gets updated. Don't bother using it unless you enjoy your shows randomly stopping or restarting 4x every hour.

Great App. This app also works well for streaming other video content from your iPhone 4 to Apple TV. Basically anytime of video that can be played back on your phone will stream. Great for iPhone 4 users without AirPlay.

Didn't work. Didn't work for me. No picture just sound. Plus no mention in blurb that free version only allows you to play to vids a day. So either I have to wait until tomorrow to test again, pay or give up and delete. The latter seems most likely.

Useless. This app is useless. There's no point in making it in the first place if Apple was going to implement the same function in iOS 4.3 with uncompressed HD video. Who cares if you can compress with this app? That's not the point of AirPlay. The point of AirPlay is to stream HD video to the Apple TV, not compressed video!

Complete scam.. Doesn't work at all. Tried twice and then it wouldn't let me play a 3rd video with the "free" version, so I was forced to pay for the upgrade.

1.2 works great. V 1.2 works great. You must delete V 1.1 before upgrading to V 1.2. Even works with the silver apple tv if you have the ATV Flash crack.

Crashing. Newest version crashes on launch (iPhone 4).

Can. As the title say's, I can not get the video streaming from my IP4 only the audio from the video. I have the latest firmwares etc Am I missing something? This would be an awesome app if i could get it working!

Awesome!. Fantastic app!!!! Installed in a few seconds and I am streaming a video I am watching to apple tv! Awesome!

Works!. Downloaded it and it works like a charm from the camera roll on my ipod touch 4g. Video and audio. It compresses the video before it streams it. The vid was a few little vids i shot with the ipod. Just shot the vid and had it on my plasma in about 30 seconds via airplay.

Crap. Not a free app! Don't bother with downloading. Does not even deserve one star, but you have to give one to submit.

Used to work great. This was my FAVORITE app. I updated my iPhone 4 to the latest software, 4.3, & now the app will not even load. Please update this app!!!

Just Like Everyone Else--No Video. It will show my iPhone stills and play the audio from iPhone movies--but NOT the video from the movies. What a bust! PLEASE FIX IT!!

Awesome !!!!. Now I can say that this app works and is worth downloading. Good Job!!! It will great if the following can be fixed 1) After I choose my movie can you not default the play to the Apple TV, rather than the smart device. It's kind of a multiple step process and a bit annoying. 2) It will be great if you can hide the compression time by using the same technology that they use to stream movies.

works great!. I just downloaded this today and used it to play video from my iPhone 3gs to my Apple TV. It looks great and works fine. Apple should have created a function like this. Thanks for filling in where Apple fell down on the job.

It does not work. Great idea as we are waiting for this capability, but very poor execution as it does not work, only audio.

1.1 was a good release. After trying (and reporting problems with) 1.0, I was very much looking forward to an update. This app does a decent job converting video shot on my iPod touch and making it available to my AppleTV. Until a first-party solution for easily getting my video to an airplay device exists, QuickPlay meets my needs. A must for folks wanting to show their videos to family and friends without needing to care about the details.

It did it's job, but after 4.3. You won't need this app, Thanks for the help for the time being, now apple has stepped up there game. Now apple supports AirPlay in the photo and video app. There's no need for this app anymore.

App won't open. In 1.1 I could convert a movie, but couldn't get it to even play. I was excited for 1.2. But now I can't even open the app. It crashes before I see anything. This app has great potential, but C'mon do some proper testing!

Didn't work. It's exactly what I was looking for but it didn't work at all.

Ver 1.2 Works Great. First, you must delete a prior version — taking the Update will cause the app to crash. Second, being able to recall previously played movies is a great idea and works well and fast. Third, you can't expect high-quality on an HD TV unless you shot in HD in very good light on your iPhone 4. Older iPhone video, etc. will not be as sharp, though acceptable. Fourth, you would only want to select High Quality in preparing your video to show on an HDTV. This is an amazing app which expands the usefulness of Apple TV.

Meh. Paid for it in app a few days ago and confirmed it worked past the two free videos and now I mysteriously must pay again? Nice app.

Not working. The icon to send to AirPlay is not there when Playing

App should be named Quick-"NO"-play. I'm sad to see the update only allows videos to play per day. We already paid .99! But that's ok, Apple's next update will include this option and your app will be obsolete! A little piece of advice: You might want to fix it "quick" because after the new iOS update, no one will need/want/buy your app! I hope you already made enough money off of us and Apple's lack of including this as a built-in feature cause it gonna be about as short-lived as how short-lived the app working was! EL

Didn't work. I was able to get the icon to appear and even send sound over but no video. The app advertises that you can send video but didn't work for me. If you could fix this I actually wouldn't even mind paying for this.

Not what I wanna do. It does play the videos that I have taken with my iPhone but I would like it to play the movies I have saved to my camera roll...it will get all the way to the end of the compression then just go back to my home screen
