Jimmy John’s is great, the app needs improvement. I order Jimmy John’s a few times a month, mostly for delivery but sometimes pickup. My experience with the delivery side of things has not been stellar. There is no way to track the order using the app, the company just sends notifications to your mobile phone. I also had an incident where the delivery person took my order to a completely different building and luckily we were able to resolve the situation on the phone but it caused a significant delay and I’m not sure whose hands my food was in before it got to me since the delivery person left the order with building security of the other building. I feel like if there was in-app tracking, it could have prevented this situation or helped resolve it more quickly. I also don’t like that there isn’t a page for customer service in the app. It would be nice to have a way to communicate any issues or comments or compliments through the app. I also dislike that the delivery person and customer get access to each others personal mobile numbers opening them up to potential unwanted contact. There should be a separation in my opinion.

App is buggy, can edit or delete saved addresses. This app is constantly having issues not allowing Touch ID to allow access. You also cannot edit or delete previous delivery addresses. I had one address in and it worked forever. Now it says a store cannot be found for this location. I entered it in again exactly the same and the second one works. Unfortunately I forgot to put in the suite number for my office. I can’t edit it and had to start a 3rd address. The problem now is they all look identical on the address selection page. It only shows part of the address and you can’t see if the suite number is on the address or not. If you would be able to edit and delete addresses, all of this would be remedied. I just want a freaky fast sub and this really slows things down.

Mostly great but need some tweaking. Doesn’t notify me when it’s arrived, several times it was sitting outside for long periods of time because I didn’t receive the notification that the order was delivered. I get the order has been received notification and the out for delivery notification but not that it ever arrived. Also there is a coupon right now, today going on, SAVEON2, I tried to use the coupon today, excited to save some money. It has buy one get one free but when I go to the total each sandwich is about $6($5.99), but it only gave a discount of three dollars, that’s only half of the total of one? The app is the issue not the service nor the food please address these issues, so that Jimmy John’s doesn’t get hurt where it counts right now. Thanks so much for all you do, huge fan,LOL! T

Last visit to this Jimmy Johns. I was a fan of Jimmy Johns, love their UNWHICH but after my last visit, well, i won’t go back. I placed my order online for drive up. Got the unwhich and went home, while eating it i noticed i wasn’t tasting the “peppers” i opened it up and sure enough no peppers and no avacado could be seen. I called them and told them about the missing items, the manager said for me to bring it back and they would remake it. I did that, everything went well until i was handed the wrapped unwhich at which time i smiled and said Thank You, the gal just glared at me and no response, like I was the one that messed up. I didn’t deserve her attitude and I will NOT put myself in a position to be treated like that again. The end of my Jimmy Johns visits to the Pueblo West location. When I got home I just put the unwhich in the fridge, i’d lost my appetite after being treated that way. Disgruntled Customer

Awful. Don’t bother. Don’t even know where to start. This used to be a flawless, perfect app. I’ve even brag to others about the past versions of it. It made it so easy to order. Fast forward to tonight, was told as soon as I open the app that I had to reset my password. It lost all of my details including my home address, and my payment information. On top of that, it took me through that process three different times every time I try to get out of it it would start me over from the beginning. It couldn’t even locate a nearby location (two blocks from my house and I’ve been using them for years) that would deliver food to my house. The app kept insisting on the pick up option. Ridiculous. I had to call in the order and asked the guy about the menu options. Defeated the entire purpose. I ended up ordering my food like I used to 10 years ago. Over the phone. No point in having this app.

So good I wish the owner wasn’t a Poacher. I always buy my lunch from here even though I know I shouldn’t. It’s so tasty, gets to my work in record time (i literally do not know a delivery service that has gotten to me as consistently fast as JJ’s has) and the rewards the app gives me really do add up and it’s nice to get a free bag of chips, pickle or drink! Just wish that I wasn’t supporting the owner who is a known poacher. I have brought my own lunch to work more often in hopes that I won’t have to rely on fast food as often, mainly due to the fact that I don’t want my money going to someone like that. Hope this review might change someone’s heart . Other than that great service every time!

A well developed app for a great sandwich shop. Having to download an app to order food from a shop usually makes me cringe a little in fear of the user experience. I have come to expect terrible apps that aren’t intuitive, designed by people who don’t really know how to develop apps, and deliver more frustration than food. BUT—- That is not the case with the Jimmy John’s app. If I know what I want, I can launch the app, select my sandwich, and checkout, in less than 30 seconds (🤔 freaky fast). And that’s not because the app doesn’t offer lots of options and features. It is just well designed, easy to navigate, and doesn’t crash!!! I’m a huge fan of Jimmy John’s sandwiches, and the app is as good as the food (and the company that makes it). Bravo JJ! 🥳 You are an example of how to do it right! 🏠🚙💨🏬 🥪🥖🍪 😋

A very usable app but. I am overall very pleased with this app. I am blind and use the app with voiceover. My big complaint is that somehow the pick up and delivery buttons are mislabeled with voiceover. So I have to remember that when I want something delivered I need to hit the button that says pick up and when I want to pick up I have to hit the button that says delivery. if this were fixed it would make my life easier and also the lives of many other people who rely on voiceover easier. this app is quite usable though and for that I am grateful. Please continue to keep voiceover users in mind as updates are rolled out! We love Jimmy John’s too.

No order tracking, really. I love Jimmy John’s in general and also think the ordering part of the app is really well done. However, it took me a long time to figure out how to track my order - it’s like 4 clicks deep in your account settings. Then once you find it, the tracker doesn’t refresh in real time. You have to back out three steps all the way into account settings and go back in to your order details just to get an update. Why isn’t there an easily accessible order tracking screen? Then the only tracking you get is: 1. Order placed, 2. Ready for pickup. There’s no time estimate or anything - when am I supposed to leave to go pick up? Sometimes it takes 10 mins, other times 45. I’m better off just driving to the store to place an order there since they make it quickly, but it’s so much easier to order ahead for large or complicated orders.

Excellent sandwiches but tracker doesn’t work. I love Jimmy John’s sandwiches and the app is easy to use. The only problem I have is that the “order tracker” really has no correlation for when the delivery is actually going out, or sometimes I will have enjoyed my sandwich an hour ago and get a notification that it is now out for delivery. Delivery to where? My intestines? The first time I thought maybe I was getting a bonus sandwich but alas, it was simply an order tracking malfunction. As someone who is in meetings often and also has a dog who barks at the door, it’s helpful for me to be able to track orders accurately so I know when to put the dog away, etc. before the knocking happens. If you’re going to have an order tracking system, then you might as well make it work. Otherwise all good here!

This app is literally terrible. I would give one star, I’m only giving two because jimmy johns itself is great. But this app is garbage. Did you user test it??? At all?? I want to believe that you have a poor UX designer who is trying to tell you how bad your app is, but the project manager isn’t listening. I want you all to know this app is unusable. I challenge your team to order a sandwich from 1) a new location, 2) a new sandwich, and 3) schedule your delivery. Spoiler alert: it won’t work. If I order at 9:30 a.m., the app automatically defaults to delivering my order as soon as the store opens instead of letting me schedule a time. When I want to order a sandwich, it just gives me a list of sandwiches instead of giving me pictures and descriptions. You used to have the descriptions. What is a Club Lulu?? What is the difference between a Original and a Favorite sandwich? This app is chaos!!!

Good, But...... I just picked up my order. Two comments: 1. The sandwiches are always great tasting. Having said that, the bread for my Little Jimmie was extremely dried out. I’ve kDuring the shelter time, we have been eating JJ’s sandwiches at least once a week. Having dried out bread definitely lowers the enjoyment. 2. Trying to redeem rewards is an exercise in frustration. I selected my reward to redeem it and then preceded to the rest of my order. The redeemed reward shows at the top of the screen but when I try to checkout, I get a message that the reward is invalid. I backed out and tried it three times and got the same response. The employee at the store helped me and we finally were successful, but even he had problems with it. It should not be so confusing. It is very definitely not customer friendly.

Order lunch from the car!. When I get in the car after morning appointments, I can place my order and have it waiting when I get to my office. it rocks! I do wish it was easier to set/edit favorites and defaults, but that’s secondary to getting my lunch freaky fast!I use this app all the time when I can’t get away from my office for lunch. When the morning meetings or court appearances run late, I can order and charge to my credit card in less than a minute, and lunch is at the office when I return. If I’m driving, I can literally repeat my last order while stopped at a red light. It has not flaked or erred even once in over two years of use. I wish My Favorites or even My Past Orders could be accessed directly from the main screen. Otherwise, perfect, and I wish all my other apps were as easy & effective.

Great App….but. I’ve used this app for a year or so and for the most part it works very well. The ordering & paying works really well…the rewards, not so much! I use this app to order so much that the employees know me on a first name basis, however, when I hit the rewards button it always tells me I’m one order away from a reward. After my next order, it still says I’m one order away. I get messages saying “Suhweet you earned a free 8” original sandwich “ but there is no way to redeem it & it does NOT show up in my rewards either. What gives?? The free sandwiches in the messages need to show up in rewards so they can be redeemed & the same with the number of times you order. Don’t tell me I’m one order away from a reward & then not give it to me!

so useful. I love Jimmy Johns and this app is literally so useful. I never write reviews for things and I usually think it’s irritating when I get the pop up but this is different. I eat there so often and the rewards program that come with this app is unmatched and so generous. It also makes ordering so convenient, you can add names to the sandwiches and customize everything in a very easy and clear way, and you can even add a cash option to pay when you arrive/ the delivery arrives. I have used this account program since I was in highschool, and the app just makes it so much better. They do occasionally send push notifications but it’s always just really good promotions or reminders of rewards I have on my account to redeem and I never find it bothersome. Literally highly recommend.

freaky great experience. ive never had a mistake with my order, a neat thing is if you order a lot at my location they bring up your things in a box rather than a plastic bag and all the drinks come in cups rather than bottles!! its cute and gives me a way better experience. the process of adding or taking away is really easy, and the delivery is great. it comes really quick, nothing ive ordered has taken over ten-fifteen minutes before and the workers have always been really accommodating when bringing it to my house. the rewards system is also extremely easy and something thats fun to look at and really easy to redeem also!! this is by far one of the best food apps out there definitely beats the McDonalds app with the rewards system then the daily app deals that sometimes have lots of issues in-store. this app is great and I will continue to use it!

Jimmy Johnson Gobbler. Hello my fellow jimmy gobblers. I’m Zachary from Jacksonville florida and Jimmy Johns is my favorite edible thing on the planet earth. You name the sandwich and I’ve had it multiple times. It’s hard to pick my favorite but I just love having the worst breath so I typically get the tuna Tom with extra jimmy sauce on my buns mmmmm yeah. I’ve been in rehab multiple times for over eating jimmy and my life has gone to complete financial ruin. My parents cut me off and my girlfriend left me because she found me making love to a number #12 with extra mayo (for lubification purposes). All in all I feel like my jimmy johns journey has just begun. And it can for you too. This app changed my entire outlook on life. I have the full menu Infront of me 24/7 and can have it delivered to me instantly. Some may call this reckless but I call it living life to the fullest. Take care and stay hungry.

App has a major bug and customer support could care less. If you choose an address for delivery, and that address doesn’t support delivery, the app takes you back to a screen to input your address. If you use the address you just put in (that doesn’t support delivery) and click “Confirm Address” it takes you to the ordering page. Unfortunately, the address it has chosen as the delivery location is not the one you just “confirmed.” So the delivery goes to the wrong location. Because the stores are franchised, Jimmy Johns support is of no help either getting you another order or refunding. The stoned sounding college kid that answers their support line essentially insinuated that it was my fault that the order got screwed up. My best bug fix suggestion is for customers to skip jimmy Johns are reward yourselves with Chipotle.

Not VPN compatible. This app basically does what it says it does but it has room for improvement: — it’s impossible to log in to your account if you have a VPN on. This is not a technological limit. — repeating last orders is really convenient, UNLESS you regularly switch between multiple JJ locations. When placing a repeat order, you can edit the items ordered, but you can’t change the store location. — sometimes order status notifications occur very late. (Like leaning my order is ready after I’m pretty much done digesting it.) This seems to not be consistent across stores, so it may be a matter of employees not immediately updating the system when the order is ready to pick up.

Great food but app needs some help. I absolutely love Jimmy John’s sandwiches but the app could use some improvements. For instance, a place to write notes to whoever is making your order - specifically I didn’t want ice in my drink but there’s no where to note that. Also, adding a feature for feedback after an order. My order was missing a pickle spear with my boxed lunch but the only way to fix that was to call and let the restaurant know and have them bring one out. I would’ve been happy with a credit for a pickle spear for my next order rather than having the driver come back out for just a pickle. It would’ve saved the company time and money.

App Purchase. I like the app and it is easy to use, but the first order I placed, my food was not ready when I arrived (despite getting there after the estimated time it was supposed to be ready). Not a huge deal since they fill orders quickly (or usually do), but I asked for my order three different times at the counter and spent 10+ minutes watching people in the drive thru and people walking in to place their orders get their food before me. My order apparently was being filled by the same people doing drive thru and they just kept pushing it to the end of their group of orders. The app is kind of pointless if I can get my food faster just walking in to order or going through the drive thru.

An accurate ETA would be nice. I order through the app from two different locations, my house and my office. When you track an order through the app it gives very vague updates. It’s “order received”, “out for delivery”, and “eat”. You don't get an actual ETA on your food. I have had orders from the location by my home arrive in 15-20 minutes, but when I am at my office, they have sometimes taken almost an hour to arrive. The food is good at both spots, but typically the only reason I choose Jimmy John’s over others is because it is fast. It seems to me that giving an accurate ETA would be very helpful here. I have stopped ordering from my office because I can never be sure if it will arrive within my break time. If I knew it would, I might order more.

Oh yes. I am writing to you in regards to the house that you said you would build for someone for free that would be me I have a little one younger one that just turned 18 and graduated from Ursuline high school on the Ed Choice Grant Pj🏀🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 had cancer from when he was in jail he was 14 years old with operations after Pj🏀🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 was done I picked up cancer in my left long I’m still getting freaky it’s hard to breathe I have no energy and it’s hard for me to go to steps I need a house it’s just one floor with the basement and Pj🏀🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 can help me with my washer and dryer please please let me win please I’m begging you please this is only thing I’ve ever wanted in my life was a one floor house with the fence around it for Pjs dog ❤️😀

Great App! Spotty Service.. Nothing really wrong with the app. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to use. Its mostly been issues on the store’s end that I find a little frustrating. I know that businesses like Jimmy Johns are struggling to find help and so I completely understand if my order takes longer than it should. I’ve seen the store across the street packed with customers and only one person running the operation. That being said what does bother me is when I place and order and I don’t receive a notification that it’s been completed. I usually give it a little extra time because I know how busy they are, but when I get there and my food with fresh ingredients is sitting out for god knows how long, that’s a bit irritating. Ive received notification telling me my order is ready for pick up hours after I’ve digested my food. Other than that, I’ve had no problems.

Great food, Horrible app. The food and service are awesome, but the app is horrible, and makes it less likely that people will use it frequently. Unfortunately it likely will never be fixed because people rate the food, and not the app. Apple Pay stopped working a few weeks ago. I can use Apple Pay everywhere on the face on the earth, except on the Jimmy Johns app it fails on every attempt. It doesn't save your login info, which means re entering an email and a ridiculously complicated password each time you place an order. No Touch ID either. Why an account to buy a $5 sandwich requires a password with letters, numbers, and a special character (which needs to be entered every time) is beyond me. It's actually more secure than my bank app. The user interface is not very intuitive. For example, tap on a credit card and nothing happens. You actually need to tap on the blank space below the credit cards. It asks you to login in after entering your address, which basically means each time you need to add the same information that is saved up your account (and protected by the super strong 30-digit alphanumeric password with at least one special character). Jimmy Johns needs ask their developers for a refund.

Everything is great except for one important thing:. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews for anything, let alone petty ones like this, but I just wanted to say that this app is great except for the fact that it tells you your sandwich is ready ONE HOUR LATER. I ordered my sandwich through the app (so I could get rewards) and sat in my car right outside the Jimmy Johns waiting for the app to notify me when it would be ready. 20 minutes passed. 30 minutes passed. Still no notification. Finally I just tried calling because maybe there was a mistake. The girl told me, oh yeah your order has been ready for the past 20 minutes and I could get it in the drive-thru! Frustrated that I had wasted so much time and I was late to an appointment, I pulled in and got my sandwich. Then an hour later, I get a notification saying “your order is ready to pick up.” I know it’s such a little thing, but it’s also the most important thing! Getting the sandwich quickly 😒 Please fix this part of the app or I’ll probably just end up deleting it.

App has history of bugs that make it unusable. The app has worked in the past and is easy to use, but has bugs that make it unusable at times. Currently when you select an address for delivery the app gives an error message stating “a network error has occurred”. This happens on the cellular network or local WiFi. This error is endemic of similar bugs in the past which make the app unusable as you can’t move past one error or another even after rebooting the phone or restarting the app. When it works it’s fine, but on several occasions over the past year or more I have experienced bug issues which make this app one I would not recommend.

Jimmy Johns Review as a longterm customer going on a decade. Hello everyone im heard to tell the good and bad about jimmy johns i dont jump on bandwagons for people so my throughts are my own no one else. I order jimmy johns atleast 2-3 times a month on average sometings more show i like there sanwinches if i didnt like jimmy johns i wouldnt order there awfulton right so now you know the good part now for the bad. jimmy johns claims freaky fast delivery atleast in my area i had to wait over an hour for my food to come at times so be aware there really busy on the weekends if its more than an hour call the store and ask for the general or regional manager to see if they can possibly give you the order for free or next order for free. i personally had to do this a couple times my store manager and employees know me really well because i order there alot so the wanna keep me as a customer so they usually do as i ask. final thoughts jimmy johns has great food but delivery times need to be better.

A couple annoying "features". I'm mostly satisfied with this app, but there are a couple kinks that need to be worked out. 1. If I enter my password incorrectly, I get a prompt that says "Network error occurred" instead of the standard "Your password was incorrect" or something to that effect. Those two statements are completely different and may detract users from trying to log in again if they believe something is wrong with he network. 2. Why give me an option to pick which Jimmy John's I can order from if it defaults back to a specific one anyway? This wouldn't be a problem except that there are two JJ's 0.5 miles from me, one is open 4 hours later than the other, and the app defaults to the one with the earlier close time. I have no problem calling to place an order at the JJ's that is open, but it renders the app useless to me after 11 PM.

Freak Yeah. This app is a great way to obtain my regular dose of sauce from my bean bag chair at home. They offer lots of the sauces. Ranch, mayo, mustard, oils, and that other sauce that looks kinda orange (that special sauce) are just of the few necessary sauces I must obtain to breath air. And I can get them delivered to my house! I also like the two Js on the logo. They are totes cute. I don’t know what they stand for though. (I’d like to know Jimmy) As I conclude this document I’d like to thank Drew Brees for being a part of this and I would like to thank Kanye for making some inspirational songs for me. Goodbye my fellow man. (Jimmy, if you read this, it is too late. I’ve died and THEY are coming. It is time. Unleash the ultimate warrior! Don’t let THEM win. Please, the fate of sandwich is in your hands!)

Great sandwiches!. I love the the ease of placing an order and navigating the JJ’s app. I only found out a couple of weeks ago that their rewards program is a buy and get a surprise reward. I’ve used a lot of rewards programs and this isn’t one of the best. There’s no incentive to keep buying as your chances of getting chips as your big reward, are much larger than getting a free sandwich. I also recently noticed their prices went up. As far as the service goes, it has been nothing but stellar at the location near my job. Everyone is friendly and if I ever need to change my pickup time, they’re very understanding & accommodating. All in all, not so great rewards program, getting pricier but awesome quality and service.

Great, except for…. I am a long-time order-er of JJs sándwiches using the app and I usually get Freaky Fast deliveries that are accurate and delicious. This past time though, I experienced an unusual issue that JJs as a whole company needs to address in my opinion. As part of my last order, I added a 22oz fountain drink, which I have done with no issue on previous orders from this location. However, this time around, instead of getting the correct fountain drink, I got a 12oz CAN… When I talked to the restaurant about it, they acted as if it was correct to make this swap. Indeed, according to their receipt, it makes no mention of my drink being a specific size other than “(med)”. According to the individuals at the store that I spoke to, “med” apparently means can or 16 oz…. This is an issue when a customer is paying for a larger amount of beverage and gets less for the same price. I will not be giving JJs as much business in the future because of this bungled customer experience.

Functional and Easy. I use this app at least 2-3 times a week. It works well. Let’s me know where they are in the process and when it’s on it’s way. Rewards program is just “ok”. While I appreciate being rewarded for spending 13+ dollars including tipping the driver, a free pickle or Avo isn’t a very good reward at all. These aren’t things I’d normally order anyway so it doesn’t really feel like a reward. I enjoy Jimmy John’s a lot and am glad they have an app to make ordering easy. Pros: fast, efficient and useful. Cons: Sometimes finding a place close enough to deliver is difficult, no real fun features, pretty similar to most delivery apps

So So. Over all it is a good app… biggest draw back is that it appears you can only use a gift card if you enter it at check out. But you can’t use the gift card unless the gift card covers your entire balance. Hard to believe that in 2023 Jimmy Johns lacks the ability to handle split payments or store gift cards. I tried to use a gift card twice over 5 years, you pretty much have to call in your order. Prices are too high to cover a standard gift card and staffing is low so dumb you have to call and order…disappointed that it has been years with out any change. I am giving away any future gift cards bout as useful as toilet paper. Also your favorites don’t tend to be usable at different locations. You have to enter you orders frequently instead of just adding to cart. I can look past the staffing as they are no longer freaky fast… but the programming makes no sense!

Pretty good app, orders get lost in translation. The app usually works well, on occasion I cannot process a reward through the app (one of the store owners told me to leave the order open, pay in the store instead of the app, and then the reward can be applied to the order... which kind of defeats the ability to pay thought the app and skip the line...). The biggest problem is the stores not making the orders according to the the customizations. Of the 3-4 stores that I order from regularly, only 1 ALWAYS has my order correct. And then you cannot review the store or lodge a complain through the app... any way love the sandwiches...

Be careful prepaying and tipping. The app is a good idea, it’s handy and works well with orders. What I don’t like is the fact that you can no longer save favorite orders, if it’s meant to cut time and make ordering faster and easier then why remove that option? I also didn’t like the time I’ve ordered and the driver dropped off my order at the guard-shack w/o calling me. I called to check on my order and was told the driver had returned to store already, when I asked about my order and why no notification I was told his phone didn’t work so he just left it there. I didn’t appreciate that at all considering I had already paid and tipped him. My food sat there for 45min and my break was nearly over by the time I got to eat.

Pretty easy to use. If you’re in the military this app really comes in handy . I find it pretty simple to use and more often than not your food will arrive pretty quick , and the add tip feature really comes in handy when you don't really feel like tipping in person ; one complaint i do have tho is if you order your meal with a drink and say your order doesn't arrive till like 40 minutes later ( if their having a busy day which on a military post they are often quite busy ) your ice in your drink will melt and will really water down your drink which makes it feel like your getting cheated out of your drink that YOU paid for but besides that their food is pretty good so there ain't no complaints there 🤷🏻‍♂️

LOVE JJ's subs. App good too. UPDATED UPDATE: We’ve had the capacity to save our own faves restored. Thanks! UPDATE: What did JJs do to the app? No longer have access to saved favorite sandwiches that we ALWAYS order, AND the app doesn't have the option to save sandwiches that we typically order. Not happy to have to enter the same information on each visit when it used to be quick & easy. Updated below. Product great. App great. One minor annoyance is selection being added to cart almost a non-event in that you must be paying close attention to teeny icon in upper RH corner. I could NOT for the life of me delete 3 extra drinks I inadvertently added ... grrrr ... Started over and didn't take my focus off what was happening on the app. Going to get my sammitch now so I can munch on the best French bread rolls I've found in this neck of the woods. UPDATE: Read developer's response regarding removing items--swipe to the right ... or was that left? Anyway, app's been tweaked so happy about that! I LOVE being able to have my faves saved and roll right on through ordering process. I'm gettin' my DELICIOUS sammiches FREAKY FAST!

Dig Freaky Fast!. What’s not to like. Excellent app technology. Good eats. My appreciation to all the employees who make it happen to serve our communities. We (I) too often take for granted our abundant food supply and now the added value of home delivery. I believe is the restaurant business as a symbol of our freedom and prosperity. Don’t ever let anyone sway your opinion of this great free market system. She creates solutions enabling people of all backgrounds to attain their dreams. JJ and all small companies are the backbone of our economy and adds convenience. So let’s all tip generously based on our means. Thank you for the wonderful service and value. Blessings to JJ Corporation and each and every employee.

Great Subs & Good Value $$$. My wife and I have been customers of this Jimmy John’s since it first opened. We are always pleased with the product we get. Jimmy John’s quality is second to none and their pricing is reasonable and good value. Their meats and cheeses are top shelf. To me, what makes a GREAT sub is the roll. And, at JJ’s there rolls are the absolute BEST. In fact, we sometimes just go there and buy rolls to take home for dinner. They make great garlic bread when we have pasta. Now for the staff. Never, Never have we encountered a negative experience with a staff member. Last, but not least, the speed in processing your order is at warp speed. We need more JJ’s locations especially in the northern part of Forsyth County!!!

A little rework needed.. This app is easy to use during the check out process. I was able to use the location arrow and it found my hotel. I find making a sub selection very difficult. I don’t order often enough using the app to know what category a #9 falls under. I should be able choose a category of all subs and just be able to scroll through them. Other apps do this and it is much easier. By allowing me to scroll the entire meal line up I have the opportunity to possibly select something else that catches my eye that I didn’t think about or is a new item. Don’t change your checkout process it was so quick and easy.

Order history, Gone. Poor navigation, poor transparency.. So, for the most part I am satisfied with the service and food. However, the website at least is pretty poor. How about Main menu or even menu instead of start over. It really infuriates me to have to refigure out how to start my order especially if I haven’t ordered in a while. Or, or, my order history has been deleted! Why would you do that? You probably explained in that email that was sent out but still. Then, when ordering, it’s impossible to confirm your details. It’s like, well I hope this is right lol. You can’t check to see which address you’re having it delivered to before checking out, heaven forbid you order from different places on different days. Why?! Why would you do that? Almost every other business does this lol My store does this lololol. You tell us which store it’s coming from umm great. This is more in reference to the repeat order option which was useful until the aforementioned history was deleted.

I have one small issue.. The only reason I’m giving this app one star, is because you can backtrack on orders, like you constantly add and add and add to the order but you cannot remove an item off the order if you don’t want it. And another thing, I love that you guys have low prices for sandwiches which is great BUT it’d be nice if there was a option to also provide discounts. As every other person I know personally would love to save money when ordering their food from a good place. I’ve ordered from you guys before and I never had a problem, just wish there were things added that can help better the user experience and give a lot more flexibility for the purchaser.

Where’s my birthday treat?. I have never ate at Jimmy John’s before but I would like to give them a try. I am disabled and I cannot often get to their location because they do not have delivery in my area so when I signed up for their company club, email club whatever you wanna call it and put in my birthdate I thought well whenever I get my sub for my birthday I’ll be able to try it and see if I like their subs, however I did not have a free sub waiting for me for my birthday. I feel like if companies are going to promise their loyal customers, or their new customers, discounts or treats for their birthday they should make sure that that is there on the date. Otherwise don’t promise that to your customers since I’ve never been there that just makes me not want to go there because it already looks as if they don’t care about their customers.

On time deliveries. Since most deliveries are done through door dash and ubereats with other gig deliveries apps, this is my opinion and my opinion only. There is really no point on complaining about delivery. They are done by gig drivers who have the option to accept or reject the offer. If there is a $0.00 tip (personally I don’t see it as a tip, more of a service fee, gas time and traffic) door dash and Uber eats offer around $2.00 to go up to 8 miles during heavy traffic which can take up to 30 minutes. Would you work for $4.00 an hour. And out of that $4.00 an hour, subtract the never ending price of gas rising. Would you work for free to deliver food for a person who has said you didn’t deliver their food after you handed it to them. Do you now understand why I personally won’t except offer under a certain number.

Almost perfect. I use this app for about three catering orders a week. It’s missing a few critical components to make an a perfect app. The first is, I would love to repeat an order, but change the location I’m ordering from. The app won’t allow us to do that. The second is the ability to use a saved credit card. The app allows me to save a credit card but then I cannot select it when I’m checking out. I looked inside my saved payment options, inside the account management section on the app, and there are 10 instances of the same credit card. However, none of them can be selected during check out, only use a new card.

Some times freaky fast, sometimes freaky slow and smells like weed.. Jimmy Johns won’t let you order deliver half the time, you instead have to order through door dash, which costs more, then door dash says Jimmy johns is doing the delivery so they can’t give updates. Instead I have to call the restaurant. I’m in a wheel chair and not able to leave or drive places. Delivery of goods has become a big part of my life. Jimmy johns restaurant is 7 minutes from my home, sometimes I get deliveries within 15-20 minutes of placing the order. Other times like today it’s been 1.5 hours since I placed the order, and 40 minutes since Jimmy johns said they were on their way here. I still haven’t received it yet, but I’m willing to bet that the entire box smells like weed again, or is covered up with a ton of axe body spray as that happens to try to cover up. I honestly think it’s just one employee that goes and hot boxes every time he had a delivery to do, but it’s getting pitiful

great App, reward program garbage. I eat JJ’s all the time, use the app when I do; app is great, never miss an order; decent interface; accurately finds my location; the only issue I have is how many sandwiches I’ve caught and the only real rewards are a free bag of chips, stop advertising this aspect of the app; it’s not why I come; love the food! The badges too, it’s just marketing crap that doesn’t move the needle; keep you food good; your service good and overall product worth it and we’ll be back every time! the app is the way to go when ordering; would recommend if you improve; make it more personalized and allow me to create a profile and save my food choices and customized orders, you can keep the rewards!

Love this App! One more thing to improve it, though. This App has improved greatly since it first came out and I appreciate that and use it more often. One last item I wish you would add (that other companies have and you don’t) is some sort of communication to the customer when the order is ready so that all I have to do is show it on my phone. Because there’s no email or message from the app, I had to wait in line for awhile and prove that I had indeed placed this order. Also, could you add fingerprint for opening the app? I have to look up my password every time I use it; that’s a pain. Ordering and paying from the app is a breeze and I love that. Thanks, Jimmy John’s for a great menu and convenient app. I’ve told many friends about it.

Bad user experience UPDATED. I love the food but the app needs work. While is looks good on mobile it does not function as it should. If you aren't paying attention it is easy to miss the confirmation and not submit your order. During the checkout the scroll position drops to the footer requiring you to scroll back up. UPDATE: Seriously, the last few updates have been a huge improvement. It has been awhile since I left my initial review, but everything looks great now. It looks like all the authentication issues have also been resolved which was the issue that ultimately caused me to stop using the app previously.

Delivery Service. I try to order JJ a lot per week but all that business has gone to Jersey Mike’s. Every time for the last three times I had to try to order food, about 9 months ago I had been charged for the order to have a person from the store call me 20 min later to tell me there is no drivers. Hard to pick up if I am working by myself. Called a manager and told him that customer friendly to do business like that and he blows me off. Trying to get Jersey Mikes to do an unwich as well. Recommendation is if you don’t have drivers in your area please tell me that before I order. I just walked into your store yesterday and see a sign that says short staff please don’t be rude to the ones that show up. I totally agree with this. You shouldn’t make it difficult for your employees because your system is poorly designed and puts them in a bad spot. Take care of your employees with better solutions that also helps your customers that want to do business with you. You lost over $700 in business in the last 9 months. I didn’t want to take it out on your employees so I just stop doing business with you. Jeff

Messed up order. I love JJ subs like no other. I stopped going because they can not get your sandwich correct. I am a simple sandwich person, I only ask for three things. Lettuce, onions and ex mayo. That is it, and they always screw it up. The problem is they don’t wait for you to order, they just assume everyone wants the standard sandwich. I get home and I will either have tomatoes or cheese which I can’t eat. I will call an let them know, they will say bring it back we will redo. I live 50 miles from the shop. It would be nice if you just made it correctly initially. Made me switch to Jersey Mikes!!!

Great initially.... Rewards are recognized by SOME locations that are to be participating and spotty by some. You may be required to do an online order for these locations to recognize rewards and have noticed that when entering info there is still ZERO benefit. This is a great program initially until the requirements start to bottleneck opportunities beyond a typical order. Three consecutive unwich orders?!? NOPE I once was a JJ fan at full menu price, but this has jaded me. Because of this I have actually stopped purchasing their product despite liking it. Failed launch of rewards. Thank god for a flooded market!

Overall, not so shabby.. There’s not been any kind of issues when creating orders or utilizing the tracking notifications and the app is always dependable when it comes to not crashing etc. The only problem I have had, the reasoning for the four stars, is that my reward tracker hasn’t updated for the last two-three orders.. :(unfortunately, prevented me from being able to take part and the free sandwich reward promotion. Hopefully this will be remedied sooner than later so that I can take advantage of the order frequency bonus.

My favorite food delivery app. I am the least tech app savvy person and I have problems navigating most food delivery apps. JJ’s is the easiest and a life saver when I need something fast and I don’t have time to messing around with other apps and their services. I can quickly plug in my order pay with apple pay and I get my food in around 15 min. I noticed I can’t access my favorites anymore tho. What’s up with that? I would of docked a star if I haven’t been changing up my sandwiches lately. ......just ordered my sandwich 5 mins ago and I just received a notification it’s on the way. Love it!!! Thx JJ!!!!

Quality of service. Jimmy Johns is always good. Even if the order is messed up or there is a wrong topping. However, it is still nice to have all the toppings and sides that I requested. When I have used the app, my order has been wrong about 80% of the time. In order to fix that, I suggest maybe adding a rating option to the app so that people can rate the service/quality of the delivery and add comments on it. I’m fact, one time i had a meal that costed 7 dollars and all I had was a $20 in cash. I handed it to the employee expecting change but the employee took all of it. Other times, I’ve ordered a pickle on the side and not gotten it or a topping and not gotten it put on my sandwich. So that is my suggestion I hope it is taken into consideration.

App Change?. I order from JJ’s all the time. Today I went to order and I could not get signed into the app. I had to order via the website. When I was finally able to access the app all of my favorites (sandwiches) were gone from my account. I just placed another order now (for my kids) and my favorites are still not loaded and it doesn’t show a way to save them. The only way I could remember what they like was from reviewing the order confirmation emails from the past. Thank goodness I saved them. JJ~ what’s up with the app? I can’t do a Freaky Fast order if the app no longer saves favorites.

Like the app but there are gaps. I like this app, I do. But, problem #1 - I didn’t realize my local shop closed at 8 so I started a pick up order. Started it at 745, didn’t submit till 805. Got ZERO notification the store was closed and that my order would not be ready until 10am the following morning. Problem #2 - I don’t want the order anymore. Called the store... no voicemail. That’s fun. Also no email address. No other way to contact them via the app. Now need to set a reminder to call the store when they open and cancel the order. Not exactly customer friendly.

Customer Loyalty Program needs work!. App is good. I like all the features, but seriously I have to figure out which Jimmy Johns is part of your loyalty program & which ones are not? Either corporate Jimmy Johns has a huge disconnect with your franchises, or you truly do not have a loyalty program for your customers. You want us to be loyal to you but, only if we go to certain Jimmy Johns locations. I participated in your National Pickle day prompted from your email, when I get to the store they said they don’t participate! Do you really want to burn your customers who are responding to your marketing? Sounds like it’s time for you to step up and appreciate your customers or lose them.

Cigarette Smoke. I absolutely love Jimmy John’s. The Unwich is it best thing ever invented since sliced bread. But I have to say, today, July 1, 2022, I ordered my usual, A Pepe Unwich and a whole pickle, and there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. I don’t know if it was the paper it was wrapped in, the lettuce, I don’t know what it was. I don’t know if some employee was smoking around the product. It was terrible. And it ruined the taste of it. Every time I would get it near my mouth I could smell cigarette smoke. The very first bad experience I’ve ever had from Jimmy John’s! The smell of cigarette smoke was so overwhelming I could barely eat it. Thank you

Overall good. This app works great for the most part! Plus the rewards are motivating. However, it always says that the store I’m ordering from is closed, even when it’s not. I notified the store a couple months ago, but no change. The other issue is more FOR the drivers... you can select to tip 15%, 20%, 25% or customize... but when you choose the percentages it ends up rounding for you. So, for example, whether you choose 15 or 20, it remains just $1. It doesn’t really bother me, but I’m sure delivery drivers would earn more money if this glitch were fixed.

Annoying Numbers Strike Again. When an app has something (usually an add) to tell you, it sends notifications. You can get around that by turning those off. But to catch our attention, app makers use in-app messaging to create alerts that show on the app icon. The only way to get rid of these alerts is to open the app and view the advertisement. Not being a fan of having my behavior engineered by an app maker, and also not being a fan of looking at an indicator saying I have unread notifications, I uninstalled the app. It has the added benefit of me spending less money at JJ’s, because other food apps are in my folder that DON’T try to get around the notification blocking system.

Unable to order using app. Yesterday, I tried to use this app to order sandwiches to be delivered to my apartment. However, when I entered my “Deliver To“ address and pressed the “Confirm Address” button, a message box popped up saying, “Sorry! We didn’t find that address. Please try again.” I repeated this process several times, confirming every time that I had correctly entered my address. I don’t live anywhere strange or off the grid. I do plenty of online shopping and many online sites/apps/companies have successfully verified my address. In the end, I called the nearest Jimmy John’s restaurant and confirmed that I do in fact live within their delivery area. I placed my order using the phone and they successfully delivered my food to me. So, plus one to Jimmy John’s still being able to deliver to me using older technology. But, minus one for an app that, for me at least, doesn’t actually work. I’m guessing some address verification software needs to be fixed or updated, or some database of deliverable areas updated. Minimum stars for not being able to use the app for its one intended purpose when clearly I live within the delivery range of at least one restaurant.

Delivery charge. Our staff orders frequently from this restaurant. We (4-10 people) usually order separately but call to request the delivery person bring them all at the same time. I called the store to ask why we were each being charged a delivery fee when we asked for all of it to come in one trip. I was told it was a “computer thing” and they couldn’t change it. This makes no sense. Just refund the $2.50 each person was charged!! One person could pay the $2.50 and we could deal with that amongst ourselves. Very disappointed, Jimmy John’s!

Rewards order frequency over order cost. I love eating Jimmy John’s, but their reward system is terrible. I could order a cookie for one order, then order 4 meals, and both orders make the same amount of progress towards a free chip. I am punished for purchasing more at once, which is very annoying and makes me not want to use rewards. Also, most places do not allow you to use the NFC ability of the app, so the whole apple wallet/watch feature is useless. They ask for your phone number at the window, and if you try to use your card, you are told that does not work. This has happened to me at multiple locations across the country, and I’m really bummed out that I’m having to put a lot of extra work in just to be a rewards member.

FRUSTRATED. Really frustrated by the app. Have been using the app to order for over two years, but now am unable to login to my account through the app. I’ve tried resetting the password, only to receive the same error message, “Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again.” I can go online and have no problem logging into my account through traditional desk top access. When I’m on the go, I want to use your app - this issue makes it impossible to do so. I’m leaving this in a review because your app provides no “contact us” option for problems with the app itself. So, please fix the issue.

Nice gesture of sending $10 GC in mail but it doesn’t work. I received a $10 gift card in the mail from JJ’s since my last order for 2 sandwiches took 55 minutes to receive. Very nice gesture on the part of JJ’s but I’ve tried twice now to use it, when ordering on line, and it shows the $10 but says it can’t apply the GC since there’s no money on it??? I called the store to ask if I had to use it over the phone or in store (after already placing & paying for the order) and was told I should be able to use it on line too. I think I was sent a gift card w/o funds added to it.

Convenient but missing a lot!. Love Jimmy Johns. Love the food, philosophy and the fact that we live upstairs from one haha. The app is great for quick meals and you can customized based on how gluttonous or healthy you’re feeling. But...and this is a big but!...they literally say that under Your Account there are favorite orders, saved payments, and “other goodies”. There is literally none of that. Just my email name and phone number. The whole point of creating and app log in is to have features and payment options saved for convenience or frequent buyer perks or things like that. They don’t offer anything like that. I hope they take feedback into consideration and beef up the app. It works it’s just frill-free.

App and Staff are top notch. The JJ app is super user friendly with easily accessible customizations and deletions from sandwiches. I’ve never had an order wrong and we usually get multiple sandwiches, so big props to the staff no matter what location. Only complaint is that due to multiple sandwiches and some customizations with the same type sandwich, I’ve always asked for names for indentification help but get numbers only. We figure it out but would be helpful if I didn’t have to unwrap and inspect every sandwich before distributing to my team.

HORRIBLE!!!!. What happened? They updated the app and it’s BEYOND bad. It doesn’t save my account information and it sends incorrect orders to the store. (That’s right. I triple check an order, submit it, and the store receives the WRONG order.) The app worked fine until they screwed it up! How can smart people mess up something so badly and think it’s good??? And... I’ve emailed them about the issues and heard NOTHING! I thought Jimmy Johns had good customer service, but I was wrong. Give them constructive criticism and they go silent. I guess the slogans on their walls are just platitudes.

App is ok but needs some tweaking. The app is great but the hours for a store were not correct as listed in the app. Thankfully I hadn’t hit submit in the app on my order and pulled up in front of the store, just in time for them to turn off the lights. Would have been upset had I hit submit and not been able to get my order I paid for. Maybe corporate needs to ask all individual stores to double check hours listed in the app for accuracy. Also, there needs to be a way to utilize the rewards for in store orders. While I get the idea is to have people order ahead, sometimes that isn’t always possible.

Poor help. Poor sandwich. Very poor management.. I wish I could remember the day that I ordered my sandwich, but I have not been back sense. I placed my order on my phone. For when I got off of work. Went to pick up my order it was not ready. I watched people go through the drive-through probably four or five cars. Family came in behind me and their order was done when mine was finally done. I waited there for 45 minutes to finally get a stale sandwich, and not what I even wanted on it. I’m really not sure whom the manager was but I do know that the guy that was working behind the scene did absolutely nothing to help the girls get my sandwich out or help them prep sandwiches. Pocatello, Idaho Quinn Road.

Frustrated. Every time I order from the app it selects a store that is outside my delivery area. There isn’t a section where I’m allowed to pick the jimmy johns closest to me (which would solve all my problems). The app is happy to charge my card and complete the order because it doesn’t know I’m outside the delivery area for the store it auto selected for me. Then I get a call either from a very confused Jimmy John’s driver or from the store, both telling me I need to cancel my order and submit it through the one nearest to me….which again, I would do if I was allowed to choose. Then, not trusting the app, I have to call into the store I want a sandwich from and force them to take my card over the phone which takes time away from JJs line employees and frustrates me the customer. All of this makes the app pointless to me.

WTH happened with the last few updates?!. I have had the JJ’s app for as long as I can remember. I had no problems until the last 2 or so updates. My delivery addresses can’t be deleted and I can’t confirm the correct address of my apartment because it does not show me the delivery address I chose until the end? And I can’t pick my previous orders or favorited sandwiches or saved payment methods to update my new card expiration date? It also tells me every time I finger print login that I have to change my password after September 29th. I’ve done this twice since it started telling me that. WTH?! Overall I love the app but what in the world happened to it?!

V for Victory Park, Dallas. This location is just a couple of minutes from our apartment and they have super fast delivery. The food is always fresh, and the staff always friendly. Especially the delivery folks. They’re great! Better than that, they care about their repeat customers. We order at least once a week, and they have even called us up, out of the blue, and sent us two meal boxes, drinks, desserts, etc. Management knows how to keep the customers happy. Many thanks to everyone. Best regards, Art & Mary Lou. Apt 1416

A bit of a learning curve but then easy. I love that the interface doesn’t seem to change often. That’s important to me because I want to get in the app, order, pay, and get out. Thank you! The only thing I’ll say is tipping is important to me but I’m afraid the first couple times I didn’t tip because I didn’t find it. And I looked. I felt like a heel. Now I know where it is. It totally could just be colors. I’m red free color blind and I use dark mode. I don’t recall but is the tipping red/black text/background? Is so, that’s hard to see for me

Works great. I haven’t had any problems with JJ’s on the app, or the two locations I’ve ordered from (more than I care to admit). They’re fast on delivery, even faster in the store, and freaky friendly! One time they did forget my drink on a delivery once. I generally don’t get drinks so I didn’t even notice. Two hours later I get a knock on my door and it’s that same driver that found an extra drink in his car at the end of his shift. He took the time to look back at his recent deliveries, for a fresh drink for me from the store, and delivered it. Best customer experience by far! I only wish I had his name.

Hero since 2008 !. Thank you for Always getting the food here promptly and fresh! Also, thank you for the nice delivery people! I love to tip at least 20%, and sometimes more. The service I equate to the Nordstrom customer service model except it’s fast food. And you have something for everyone in my home. Thank you I didn’t give you a 5 star 🌟 because I would like to see one more option in the drink area. The selection is fine , but I want the option of More or less ice , . Straw or no straw or a simple note section. You get a 4.99 stars ! Keep up the great work and consistency! Davis fam!

Great app, needs some tweaking. Overall this app works very well and doesn’t seem to have bugs. Easy to use, except the menu is split up into classics and favorites and it’s not immediately clear that the classics are the lower numbered sandwiches and the favorites are the higher numbered ones. Also, when it came time to pay, it showed Apple Pay in two different places at the bottom and nothing else. I had to figure out to tap the one with the arrow and then I was given the option to add a credit card. For a moment, I thought I was going to have to go back to a previous screen. All in all a really good app.

Needs Some Customizing Options. We order from the local JJs often and we always get unsweet tea because it’s the best kind obviously. However, by the time it gets to us, there is no ice left and the tea is lukewarm. Grody! So I have been putting in the delivery instructions spot that we like extra ice. Well the order pullers don’t see that note... only the delivery drivers and they don’t make the drinks. Please update with an option to add notes or even a check box for “no ice” and “extra ice” just like most food ordering apps do. We all have quirks as customers and as much of an eye roll that may induce, we are still wanting to buy things from you and need help sometimes. Thanks!!

So Close to Perfect, but.... This app is pretty well designed. It’s sleek and intuitive. HOWEVER, there’s no means to request a different amount of ice than the default. I hate ice in my drinks. It’s completely unnecessary and quickly ruins the drink. But I have absolutely no way to request no ice except in the special delivery instructions box. And that is the absolute least reliable method there is. Only once has my soda come without ice, as requested. It’s to the point where I just don’t get a soda at all and go through my meal thirsty and irritated. Jimmy John’s, if you’re paying attention, PLEASE add an option to request a different amount of ice. Thank you.

Native UX experience makes it amazing. Man where to start. Using this app is so easy and flawless. I appreciate the fact you didn’t try to have a consistent UX across platforms but instead you chose to be as native as possible and use al the native features of IOS. From ApplePay to FaceID to keychain. This app is well built and provides an amazing UX experience for iOS customers. And being an iOS dev myself I think this app shows how it should be done. Can’t say enough how appreciative your customers will be when using a native experience. Will definitely order more often just because of the experience. Job well done 👍🏽

This is proper app design. Phone apps need to have an advantage over just using a website. This app demonstrates how to do it right. It’s faster than using the website because navigation takes full advantage of the touch interface, the menus are intuitive, options are clear, and everything is pleasing to look at. Also, thank you for including ApplePay. Literally everything you could possibly do to make this process quicker than a computer and pain-free for the user is done here. I don’t have to even grab my wallet. Bless you!

FINALLY It works enough.... Works at least where I can PLACE my order. Couldn't even add my customized sandwich, had multiple sprouts options and regardless of how many times I did/didn't check ALL boxes, it wouldn't let me add sandwiches. Now had no problem with THAT, but still CAN'T add fav prior sandwich orders. If this were fixed would give five stars. Either fix feature, or remove the option. Glad I can order without having to call store directly while looking at the app options like I've had to in the past. Not sure if they fixed part of problem or if it's my new iPhone 11 Pro max.

They need to fix the UI. Not an intuitive app to use. They need a dedicated home page or home button or similar landing page. Too many clickable buttons that essentially do / lead to the same thing. Why is there an order tab when you can also order from the menu tab?? Also not clear on how to earn rewards, it seems like you only earn them if you place a “freaky fast” order (whatever that means). It should be a simplified star-per-sandwich reward system. Also, no way to easily track order status in the app. Ridiculous. They should also list an estimated time for preparing your order. Maybe they do have this already, but if so it’s not easily accessible.

Good App. Great sandwiches.. The app is easy to use., straight forward, & reliable. You can even regulate the amount of Mayo & such add to the sandwich. The only ding, my same complaint with most food ordering apps, There’s no way to add special instructions. i.e. pickles on the side, etc. Sandwiches are great and the prices are lower than all the other sub chains. However, they are also much skinnier than most which is probably the reason for the discounts. Do yourself a favor & try the tuna. Added ingredients give it a unique flavor.

Great sandwiches, but the app needs work.. I love Jimmy John’s sandwiches, but the whole thing with the rewards is a pain. I have supposedly got a free sandwich coming, but no matter what I do, it will not let me redeem it. I select “Redeem” just before checkout, but when I try to checkout, it tells me that if I want to redeem this reward I must press the “redeem” button (which I already did). It will not let me go to checkout unless I remove the reward. This is either an elaborate scam or someone needs to work on your app.

What is happening?. App used to be amazing, but after rolling out an update that takes away functionality, now the app says the nearest restaurant to me doesn’t deliver to my building, even though I’ve had delivery here before. Even dumber, it WILL let me deliver to the place I used to live which is about 1000 feet FURTHER AWAY from the restaurant than where I am now. For now I’ve been leaving a note in the delivery instructions to just go to my actual building instead of the delivery address and that seems to do the trick. Still…weird that a building further away than mine is in the delivery range but mine isn’t (even though it used to be).

Need to update. There are times when my family would just like to have a sandwich topping on the side(for example: oil and vinegar) There is no option for side sandwich toppings when you are ordering for pick up. Can this please be added as an option? I was told by an executive to just ask for the item when I go to pick it up. It’s super inconvenient to me, I would rather already have it in my bag so that I don’t have to speak to anyone or wait while they get the side item. (They acted like I inconvenienced them today and it was annoying).

Good app, rewards need improvement. I’ve been using this app for a while, and it’s nice that JJ has implemented rewards in my area. With that being said, it’s kind of just random, where as another company with an amazing rewards system gives you the choice to save up your points for a bigger reward. Also, I saw a promotion running for a free unwich if you order 3 before the end of January. I did that, and wasn’t credited with the reward. I tried reaching out on IG, FB, and even tried googling if there was a customer service email (I believe I found a phone number but email is so much more convenient) and there is no easy/clear way to write to someone.

Glitchy app. I’ve never been able to check out with my rewards. You click redeem, but when you go to check out it sends a message to ask if you want to “redeem” your rewards; it’s already been clicked and applied but won’t let you check out unless you remove the rewards!!! Frustrating going back and forth trying to get it to apply; I’ve almost just given up and decided to order from a different restaurant. Basically you just don’t get the rewards; it’s always full price so I just usually figure I’m never going to get it.

I’m satisfied with it.. Great app. Easy to order and customize your sandwich. There are two reasons why I deducted one star. First it would be nice to earn rewards in-store. Like be able to scan the app at the register. Second reason is I rarely get “your order is ready for pick up” alerts. I always get the “store received your order”, but not the pick up ones. I usually just go in after about 10-15 minutes. Sometimes the order is ready sometimes it’s not. Quite frustrating. Sometimes I’ll order something at lunch time and don’t get the pick up alert until 10pm at night!

Management issues. When contacting the location in N. Arlington on Irving St. I encountered a negative telephone experience. When asked for my information which included the order confirmation number I was told my order was never received. I was still charged for the order. When I explained that I was charged for the order but it was not delivered I ask for a managers name and phone number to reconcile the mistake. At this time the employee/manager became dismissive and rude. He refused to provide any information and hung up the phone. Due to a request by my grandchild today, I will give this location one more shot.

Convenient for disabled. This app is awesome. It is really easy to use. It is straightforward. It is accurate. And unlike a lot of other companies, you're not constantly pressured to create an account or even talked into writing a review. No annoying pop-ups. Jimmy John's is a great alternative to the delivery food apps (ie: door dash, Uber eats, GrubHub). The others charge big delivery fees. Or their menus are more expensive to compensate. It is a cheap way to have food delivered. I am in a wheelchair and do not always have an option. They get here fast. They make my orders correctly. And they do not overcharge me. Love this app.

Refunds?. We have been ordering with this app for a few months now and haven’t had any issues...until today. When our order arrived one of the items was left off. We called the store to see if they could just refund us the cost of the item. Turns out they can’t. Their options are credit to our phone # (we’re never going to call in an order) or send the driver back with our item or cash. None of these are good options for us or the employees at the store. Please consider this in future updates.

Order Expectations. There has to be a better way to track actual delivery times and be able to communicate with your driver via text or call… I have had extended wait times and have even called the location before ordering through the app because I waited over 3 hours one day for my food and they said they didn’t have drivers. Why allow someone to order from the application when you don’t have drivers or at least push your order to a store that has drivers? I’m also writing this review waiting for my food when I called over an hour ago they said delivery times are about 20-25 minutes. I ordered my food over an hour ago and it says out for delivery 40 mins ago… I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. Come on guys. Be better.

I love Jimmy John’s, but I hate mayo. I love Jimmy John’s and I love your app and delivery options, but is it possible to have a comment section? I order the #5-Vito every single time, but 50% of the time I get it with mayonnaise on it. It doesn’t come with mayo, therefore there is no option to remove the mayo from the order. Tonight I not only received mayo, but extra mayo and on both sides…gross! I don’t just dislike mayo, I cannot eat it if there is mayo in it. This has happened at multiple locations. Please add a comments section or a way to make sure no mayo is added.

Useful but cumbersome. I’ve been using this app for about a year now. It is convenient there are some major usability issues though. Firstly, it is way too easy to order from the wrong location, especially if you were out of town and had ordered from some other Jimmy Johns and forgot about it. Secondly, it is so hard to re-order items you’d previously ordered. They desperately need to find a way to let you re-add or favorite an item from a past order. Thirdly, when you’ve switch stores you have to rebuild your order. Why this is, I don’t know but it’s awful after you’ve put together an order for your family and you realize you’re ordering from the wrong store and you have to reconstruct your entire order. This app just needs some basic usability love. Not a lot of places get this right, but I work from home and the places that make it the easiest to quickly order lunch for the kids often get my business. This app is OK, it is cumbersome and often will lead to me reaching for something else to get a quick lunch order off in the middle of a conference call.

Favorite Sandwich Shop. I can’t remember when and how I learned of this place, but it will always be my favorite! They have fast service for the most part and they stay pretty late (I remember ordering at 2 in the morning). Even in one instance when they took an hour or so because of a lack of drivers, they were super accommodating with an extra cookie and even refunding my whole order (and I didn’t lash out, just told them to take their time because this isn’t common for them). Jimmy John’s for the WIN, every time.

Love It, Quick ‘n Easy w/ minor glitch.... Super quick & easy to use & the customize option is simple, which is huge when ordering items w/ multiple options or toppings. Some apps can be so complicated when customizing everyone’s order, so 👍🏼👍🏼 👏🏼. There’s a minor weird glitch that happens when adding items from “My Favorites”, where the sandwich doesnt show up in the cart but is added to the total dollar amount. Then an error msg will pop up saying something about selecting only one option for sprouts. Lol. Sounds weird but thought the dev team should know 😉
