Best Gaggle App except....... We use it for our gaggle and you always know where you stand on the course...awesome!! The only issue is if you have different tee players in a game format. The app doesn’t adjust pops for different tee boxes (this is key in games like the Irish rumble when hole handicaps are different from different tee boxes) the pops need to be where each player gets them. The app bases all strokes on the tee box you select when setting up the game.

Nice App……but. A group of us are all on GolfGame book. It’s a great way to feel like you are apart of the round when you can’t play. The Yardage and other features are nice to have, since it’s inception and they have listened to some feedback and have added more courses that wasn’t originally available. When Gamebook was new it was really nice to be able to add a guest that didn’t have gamebook to the round even with the free app when that feature was disabled it was understandable, couldn’t offer too many extras for free. My grip is the price to upgrade your subscription. The last time I checked it was $80 for the year that seems a little excessive. I get it golf is hot right now and companies are wanting to capitalize but for me and “others who are no longer using this app” it’s not that important for me to track friends on the course via the app. Personally I would upgrade for cheaper but not at that price, hopefully GameBook will run a special in the future. Until then I’ll keep my basic plan or find something cheaper. Kind regards

Very good. Excellent to follow 2 or 3 foursomes when competing, however lacks of few features to be excellent.. gps function is bad.. if no laser I have had to open other app for the gps, also would be nice if you can email all players scorecards together (to the pro shop instead of one by one)

Used to be 5 stars. Since they’ve eliminated the online game manager, everything has been a total fail. In the new tournament manager, I used up both my free trial tournys, and I never got to enter the course (which is step 2 of 7 in setting up a tourny). So disappointed. Been using gamebook for my ryder cup tournament for 4 years, but now I can’t (No reds vs blues or multi round available anymore). And now they want me to pay for these “features”?!?!

Great course. I really enjoyed playing Cobblestone today, I got beat up on the green which were rolling very true, and fast. Course is in great shape couple little dry spot but for this time of the year, I think it’s in great condition I would definitely play it again the pace of play was great. Great stuff everyone is very friendly.

Use the app all around world - love it!. I have been using GameBook for years in 5 different countries, over 40+ course and I have never faced any issues. The app is continuously improving and when ever there is an issue, the team rectify it immediately. One of my favorite features (besides the statistics) is the Challenge games. Do yourself a favor, download it, use it & love it.

Great multiplayer on course status keeper. Does a great job of keeping everyone in a multiplayer event know where they stand against the field hole by hole. Also keeps individual stats and digital/printable score card to send to the players.

Got too expensive. This has been my go to app for golfing. As a golf enthusiast I’m happy to pay roughly $30 per year to keep track of my progress and follow my friends games. But $80 + tax per year suddenly is too much. I’ll migrate to my Garmin app as I have CT10s on my clubs anyway and so on. They had some good features earlier like playing tournaments with my friends and for what so ever reason that was taken away. They are now introducing the same old features as new features which I’d be still happy to pay that $30. Lastly I keep getting these Patrick Koenig notifications every day. I don’t know him. I don’t care what/where he golfs. And I’m not paying his green fees.

Great app. I love this app and use it every time I golf. We have a group of about 20 guys and this let’s us keep Up with the game even when not playing. Also the customer support has been amazing working with course changes.

Very Good App. The attribute that would make this 5 Star is the ability to associate different handicap hole number based on the tee a player is playing. An example would be hole #5 has handicap of 3 from men’s longer tees #1, #2 and #3 but a handicap hole #14 from gold tees. The app will not handle that difference or at least don’t know how to set this up in the app. As I understand the app requires all tees to have the same difficulty rating when using handicaps in various events. Disappointed. The app starts out great but unfortunately after setting up a tournament and then going back to revisit the tournament I already created rendered my tournament useless because I needed to purchase an extra “token” even though I was able to create the tournament. I reached out to customer service because that’s the only way they will invoice you so you can pay with PayPal. This part is very annoying because I have not heard back in almost 24 hours. I need reliability as much as any tournament manager and will need to use another app. Customer service is critical and besides that piece, it would certainly get 5 stars and I will be willing to change it.

Very Accurate Range Finder. Lost my range finder and this app is making me wonder if I truly need to replace it. It’s tatafo is too much however, telling everyone once you are on the course. Remedied this with the Private mode which is only available to premium subscribers. Well worth it However, they need to fix the ability to edit scores after finishing a round.

GameBook. I love using this app to track my stats. I was introduced to it at a club I joined 4 years ago and I can’t stop using it to track all my rounds and stats. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a golf app that will keep your stats and history on each course you play.

10/10. Absolutely phenomenal!. Had a 64 team summer long tournament and was nervous to roll this app out at the 16 person (8 team) best ball stroke play finals. Customer service was excellent helping me set it up. Worked absolutely flawlessly. No issues what so ever and the live scoring added a completely new dynamic to the round. We didn't get the W but was fun knowing we were in the hunt coming down 18... Great app and can't wait to use it again! Update: still awesome! Use it a couple times per year. Love it! A+

Love it, but need more game options. GameBook is our groups main way of tracking our games, we usually have 20+ people so it’s great for low 2 or 3 and skins. However I’d love to see the developers add an option for a game like Wolf when there’s only 4-5 of us playing

Fantastic App!. I’ve been using this app for many years now and continue to love it. Being able to setup multiple games/groups and provide live scoring during the round is where this app is best. Whether it’s during our normal weekend group or on my annual golf trip, the live leaderboard quickly enhanced the in round experience so we knew who was leading, etc. Being able to share your round with others who aren’t playing is neat too. Plus, when I have had questions, they quickly responded. Keep in mind the time difference as I live in the US. To me, the only two minor downsides of this app revolves around the Leaderboard and Game Formats. Leaderboard - the only way someone can follow your round is if they download the app. This app had the ability to send a link so others could follow the round/tournament using their internet browser/app vs having to download the Golf Gamebook App. I understand that getting the app downloaded is the ultimate goal for the owners but for those who never play golf, trying to give them instructions on how to follow the round becomes a pain. Game Formats - they pretty much have every game format you would like. The only suggestion I would make is having the ability to edit the specific scoring for Stableford or allow you to setup a Match Play Game and Stroke Play Game at the same time.

Great App. This app has made our weekly games more entertaining. The live scoreboards keep us involved and adds to the enjoyment of our rounds, adding pressure, letting us know who’s lighting up a good round, and getting to see if that birdie held up for a skin. The app allows us to play our team games with or without Hcps. We tend to play the same game each time and the guys that aren’t playing still get to see the games keeping us interested. I started with the free version for a few months and it was great for most of our group. The adds were not overwhelming and I could easily follow my friends and play with them. I recently upgraded to the paid version so I could put teams together and add non-registered players to the game. The ability to look at my friends and team mates average scores helps with our team balancing and improves our game experience. We still want more from the app. We want to play team low ball and be able to separate the balls instead of always having to add them together. We want Wolf. We want to play 3 games at once. We want to play multiple rounds (36, 54, 72 holes) Awesome job with the App. Keep up the great work!

GameBook 4 Life. Awesome app. Gives my golf group, 16-27 players every weekend that tournament, coming down the stretch; can you hold it together feeling. It’s great to be able to watch the leaderboard at times. Especially when you’re finished and you are the 10 handicap in the lead with 3 holes to finish and every 5 minutes or so you’re able to see the lead slip out of his grasp! The side games are a plus and the stat tracker is nice as well. Thanks GameBook!

Finally an app I can use!. I e been looking for an app with all the functionality for my individual stats while also being able to track my money games with partners. The live leaderboard feature is legit. Even some of my buddies sitting at home can watch the game and text us mid-round to talk trash. There was one course that wasn’t in the app, I emailed the administrator and they loaded it within a day—no joke! I’m so impressed after 4 uses.

Used to be great. Used to be a great app. They made a change this year that locks down every aspect of the app unless you pay for their gold membership. I can’t even setup a match anymore my friends, let alone use any game type other than a personal stroke play, unless I pay the $80 a year gold membership. Can’t keep track of putts, can’t track greens or fairways hit any more. You can’t even view the map of the hole you are playing to get any sort of help in determining how to approach the hole. It’s now nothing more than an electronic scorecard. It’s a real shame they decided to fully sell out rather than keep it as the great app it used to be.

Awesome App. I love all the features of Golf GameBook. As a gold subscriber tracking all of my other stats only helps me improve my play. The one thing that I would like to see is possibly a league feature that would allow season long leaderboards.

Excellent. GameBook has allowed our group to play with specific folks while being teammates with others. Makes settling our events quick and easy. Basically run a tournament twice weekly with little effort.

Difficult to end a round. I have a love-hate relationship with this app! All of the improvements have been great. However, I love looking at my stats after a round and 9 times out of 10 the app will not end the round so I can look at my stats. I played a round yesterday, I’ve ended the round 10+ times, killed the app, deleted and reloaded the app, tried starting a new round... it still has my round from yesterday as an on-going round. It’s so frustrating! The app often gets hung up when we have a lot of groups playing at the same time. It is also difficult to find a player if you’re not “friends “ on the app.

Match Play. I think the app is a good golf app. I was disappointed by the fact that Match Play (& Scramble Match Play) were not game options. These features would make the app perfect. I mean when you base your whole marketing campaign around the Ryder Cup, how does your platform not support the way the Ryder Cup is played. Please add these games in the next update.

Great. Very friendly to use. And the new upgrades are great. I have tried other apps, and for me this is more accurate and friendlier than all the others

Great app. GameBook is terrific for tracking scores, stats, and tournaments while allowing you to view the leaderboard. Hoping they create a system that allows you to set up various flights in the tournament tracking for stroke play, but also allow everyone to participate in skins tracking👍

Improvements could be made. The app doesn’t let me change if the default handicap is on or off. Having to turn it off for every round is really annoying. I play in a league with 19 buddies and the app isn’t really friendly to that. We have to keep track of a lot of data outside the app to track progress in the league. Adding more features to support leagues and tournaments would improve the usefulness a lot.

Most used app. This is the best app on my IPhone. I have used is for the past 4 years. Keeps all golf stats (fairways hit - putt per round - greens hit) has GPS on most Golf courses. The groups I play in all use it and it keeps up with bets. It truly the best app on my iPhone.

Great app to keep Live leaderboards in Tournaments.. The app is easy to use and setup live tournaments. Our group uses the app to keep score between multiple 4somes, with several different formats of games. Stroke, stableford, and skins. Handicapped or not works for both. Also like the option to look back on all my past rounds. One recommendation would be - work in USGA handicap option for gold or paid members. So that handicaps would automatically adjust and not have to be manually entered. But overall great app.

Amazing. We use this for our small group to run our tournaments. We have been using this app for quite a few years. All our guys rave about it. We all enjoy knowing where our position is during a tournament. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Great App. Our group has been using the app for about a year and a half now. We love how was it is to follow the other players in real time. The support staff are super supportive when we have an issue, like a course change their layout.

Golf GameBook. Works well for our home league. Easy to use for single rounds, match play and tournaments. Even if something is loaded incorrectly in the system about the course, the techs are quick to respond and adjust accordingly.

Progressively worse. 5 years ago this was the best app out there. Easy to navigate, great at keeping track of relevant statistics, and AWESOME for setting up multi round tournaments with multiple groups. Unfortunately, we are now unable to run our event because the membership our group bought wasn’t enough. It has gotten worse on the way it keeps track of your statistics as well. Na ovation is now different but I wouldn’t say it is any easier than it was before.

Good app, UI could use a smidge of work. Some functionality is a little unintuitive but overall a solid app for playing different variants of games, especially if everyone has a verified handicap. I do wish it were easier to change your handicap without having to go all the way into settings. With the newer system having the index change after every round, it’s a little cumbersome to change and easy to forget to do it.

Awesome App. This app is fantastic. We have a large group that always play and this app allows us to track and follow all action. There are minor things we wish it could do, but it is the beat we have right now.

Awesome app for tracking stats and scores. This app is awesome for tracking scores and stats, the only change I wish they would do is let us enter in fairways and chipping stats first. It would just be easier to keep track of everything.

It’s seen better days but it’s okay. I’m assuming the pandemic hurt the maintenance of the bunkers. Aesthetically it makes the course look terrible when the bunkers are in a state of disrepair. Greens were nice. The fairways were tight and firm. Certain fairways needed to be watered because hard pan was starting to appear. It’s a good value course with a decent design.

Simple but Powerful - So worth it. The Golf GameBook App with their recent update has provided pro quality stats to every amateur. It allows us in a very simple way to see where we need to improve to lower our handicap. I was able to understand my true GIR - greens in regulation and focus on improving that area of my game. So well worth the Gold upgrade.

Couldn’t live without it - Golf Game Book. GGB speeds up the end of round calculation of the days winner’s across a wide variety of competitions and better yet allows the various golfers competing to see their status relative to other tee time groups - additionally the developers have been very responsive to updating handicap holes after local course changes and their decertified changes to course slopes, changing of tees (e.g. when course adds combo tees), etc.

Fun golf trip!. Being able to see the scores of the other groups makes it even more fun and allows you to know what you need to do on the upcoming holes. Well organized and easy to input. Very easy to use.

Great Golf App. I like the app especially when we have a large group (multiple foursomes) allowing all participants to know where they stand. I have recommended the app to several friends! One issue I have is that once a week there are times where I have to login numerous times during a 18 hole round

Social Golf. Great app for keeping in touch with golf buddies when either you are or aren’t golfing with them. Maybe they couldn’t make it today, they are golfing with another group, or golfing someplace else. How better to share with them in real time how your game is going, chat about it and let them see the conditions you’re playing in. Looking forward to trying this in a tourney setup.

Great App. Just a few more improvements would bump me up to giving the app a 5 star review. For starters, the new update doesn’t allow for a 5 man group. In the previous version it was allowed. Secondly, when managing multiple groups and attempting to click and drag a player to another group, it doesn’t allow you to drag the player to a group that happens to be off the screen. For instance, there’s 6 groups of golfers with only 4 of the 6 showing on the screen. I’m not able to move a player from group 6 to group 1 because the screen won’t allow you to drag the player off the screen. Lastly, there needs to be a way to have multiple side games instead of only 1.

Best Scoring App for Groups. I’ve been using Golf GameBook at multiple course over many years — it’s the best. Have played in tournaments that try and use other systems, but nothing compares. Download...you won’t be disappointed.

Great app for league. Great app to keep score - gold is a must to keep active scoring with multiple groups. Easy to use and great stats. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is having a few more game options like 9 point for 3 players, wolf for 5 players (like some other apps have) and being able to do gross and net skins at the same time, etc.

Ridiculous price increase. I play in 3 different golf groups. Each group has over 50 members and we have enjoyed the benefits of this app for skin tracking and other things. We have used it for 4 years, but NOW it is time to move on because of the egregious price increase from $35 to $80 per year!! There are way too many other apps that offer the same options and we are now aggressively searching for a replacement. Way to go guys.

Best golf scoring app ever!. I have been using this app for two months now, and it is just brilliant. I can see what my friends golf scores are and track our scores and even host a mini tournament! Plus it has tons of Aussie courses and I can even add some! The web clubhouse is quite awesome too. Overall, 5 stars isn't enough for this awesome app!

Refund. Please refund me, I cannot add scores. This app has gone down the toilet!!! We scored for 3 holes and now can’t do anything.

Good but GPS a bit slow. Generally a well put together app but I find the GPS is a bit slow and sometimes takes too long to give you distance in an acceptable time given you need to keep the game moving.

Great app - handicapping doesn’t align. Great app but handicaps in Australia not the same as golf-link Australia. Therefore frustrating to change handicap manually - would be a five star if handicapping worked in Australia.

Works well. The app found the golf clubs I was playing at & gave me accurate data. The score entry method I thought was better & easier than others I have tried. Being able to have the handicaps edit the final score (with the actual score also displayed) is a great idea. All in all it works well.

Absolutely love this app, but.... ... NEED the ability to edit the course setup. - Inevitably the app hasn’t got the correct strokes on each hole which renders it useless for stableford scoring, - And also inevitably the slope rating isn’t right, - Sometimes the parr on a hole is wrong, - The course may have a different set of tees, - And often the golf course has a temporary situation that changes the course parr on a hole. For all of these reasons it’s necessary to edit the course setup 9 out of 10 times. Without this ability it kind of renders the app useless. 😢 We used to use this app for our annual golf tour. 5 fourballs all scoring with the app meant you had a live leaderboard...very cool! 😎. (Not only that but you had a whole new batch of app users by the end of the weekend) But we can’t use it if it’s got the wrong handicap stroke on a hole. Even 1 hole wrong means it’s no good. Imagine the controversy! 😂 I used to edit the course setup before the comp and make sure it was 100% right. But you’ve taken away the ability to do that?!

Ok but buggy. I used this app for some time but it kept on logging me out and I could not get back in even Ny changing passwords. So had to create new email address and start over again, losing all my connections and results. After the fourth time I gave up and using another app.

Do it, do it now!. Easy to use whilst in play. I’ve used this for about 12 months every week in friendly 4 ball situation. Keeps scores and email players score cards. Would recommend completely and so cheap to purchase when you subscribe.

GPS. Great addition to a good app. The GPS and ball measuring is a fantastic add-on.

Constantly updating. Best scoring app. Have used this app for a long time for small groups and large 3-4 day tournaments. They are lengths in front of the competition and very approachable if you have an issue

Latest update is horrible. For the first time in years, we’ve been unable to use the GameBook for our annual golf weekend away. The new group set up is confusing. It would constantly crash. When we could eventually add players it was so slow. Roll it back or fix it. We could be on the lookout for another app I think

Easily the best way to keep score. I’ve been using GameBook for 10+ years and this has by far the easiest way to keep score

Best stats app around!!. Free app which records everything you need to know and actually provides a handy GPS when required. Fairways hit, greens hit and putts is all the information you really need and this has it and more. Easy to use I even managed to teach my dad who is very un-tech savvy!!

Great app but would be good to see some updates. Love using the app but it does kick you out on occasions and then won’t let you rejoin your game. It’d also be good to see an easy option to publish updates to courses as some par scores are incorrect.

Pro style. Only been using this app for two rounds but I'm already telling my golf partners they need to sign up, it's so great! I'm sure as things develop we'll start using photo and comment functionality. Having a leaderboard is just awesome, just like the pros even if all scores are over par unlike the pros! Would love to know how to delete temp players, have emailed developer but nothing yet. As another reviewer said it's the future

Awesome app. Personally I think this is the best app for golfers. All other app cannot come close to this. There is small room for improvement, (like everything), however for a simple app for the middle to low range handicap golfer, it’s perfect. Would highly recommend this to all golfer out there. Get it!!!. Great for social clubs with multiple groups, especially the photo option. The comments section is great for friends who are watching in on your your round. The user interface is quite easy to use on the course. In the friends section you have a few places to search for your fellow golf buddies. Maybe a search by golf club could be a cool edition or by suburb/current location

Great app almost. The satellite imagery is often very out of date and low resolution (in Australia). SwingU golf has much better satellite imagery but has less free functionality than GameBook.

Has all the features but clunky to use. This app could be the best golf app around but let’s itself done with a clunky user interface. It has some many features for tournaments I love and have used often. But I find myself having to back and forwards between leaderboards, the resuming play then entering scores. I also find frustrating the index of holes are out of date for several courses. Hoping this app can reach its full potential

Golf game winner. Used by my friends, who are much better golfers than me

Perfect. This app is perfect. Has made golf with my mates so much more enjoyable. Loads the course, on the go leader-board, wagers, contests. Very cool. As a social golfer it's great to keep your history and learn what your handicap is. Only wish is that wagers can be entered in $ so it's nice and easy to know who owes who what at the end of the game.

Flag rounds. Good app but there is inconsistency between the flag rounds and what Golf Australia displays. Would love to see the return of the chart for all golfers in a society

GGB App. We have been using the app all summer. Because of what’s going on in the world we tend to avoid meeting in large groups. We get to play golf but we don’t get together after to collect money and distribute the days winnings. This app has allowed us to play as a group even though we often play at different times during the day. You simply record your score and it reports where you stand in whatever games you have going. It’s easy to set up and easy to use. We even have our technophobes using it. It’s so easy. Had a 51 person scramble yesterday and had all 17 teams participating. It was great to know where you stood at all times. It’s a great app. I would highly recommend it.

Love this App!. Golf Gamebook is a free app that works well with the Apple Watch for keeping score of your golf rounds. The only issue is sometimes when I go to check the round on my cell phone after it’s over, some of the holes’ scores were not retained for some reason and I have to re-enter them. I used to use Hole 19 all the time until they made it a paid app in order to work with the Apple Watch so I don’t use it anymore.

Better 4 years ago. Been using it for around 4 years now, still using it but it was better before. Each major update is making it worse. Slower, clunkier, notifications barely work anymore... etc. Go back to the roots, was awesome 4 years ago, now its just OK.

Great App!. Love being able to track friends in real time as they play. Also great to not have to worry about grabbing a scorecard and keeping track of stats. GameBook does it all! If it could update my handicap automatically that would be the icing on the cake.

This app was good once a upon a time…. But now they nickel and dime you for every feature. Pretty annoying that I now have to pay $18 a month to keep track of my GIRs for example. Switching apps a hassle tho because all my friends use this exclusively to track rounds.

Golf Game Book is great!. I enjoy using this app for game play. The only issue is when I play the back nine, the yardage gets messed up after the 12th hole. It’s like I finish 11, and the yardage resets. For the first 11 holes, it’s the same as a $700 Bushnell.

Deleting App. App now requires Paid version (Gold) to add players without the app to your group. It was a great app before this but now I’ll be deleting it and using another because of this.

Over charge.. Why are you now charging to have 2 groups play game. Not good.

Crashes. Please fix the crashing and loosing scores...

Great golf app. My friends and I have been using this app for a few years now. Highly recommend it. I’ve tried many golf apps in the past, this one, by far is the best. Takes a while to get used to the UI, but once you do, it’s amazing. Their customer support is great as well - if your course isn’t listed, or if your course information is incorrect, send them a picture of your scorecard and they will make the fixes quickly.

GameBook is great for statistics. Love having golf GameBook. I have the gold membership and it has helped my game. Looking at my stats I know where I need to practice and it has taken strokes off my game. Easy to use and have recommended it to my friends. Love this App.

Like the App but.. Use the app today. It was great. Loved it. Maybe the best one I use and I have used lot. Love the scoring and how it get handicap. However, I can not figure out how to change the yardages from meters to yards. Any help would be great.

Best App in golf...so far. Been using GameBook for a while. It’s great with friends/tournament, live scoring/tracking. It’s also good as a (golf) GPS; however, that chews up the battery a lot. Overall, great app. Ken, MCC.

Support is not responsive. Sent multiple request to correct course slope and rating with no response. Otherwise, it’s all good.

Great, but better before ads. The addition of ads recently is kind of annoying, but we love using gamebook to track games.

GGB is awesome. We use GGB for live scoring for our league, it updates everyone playing up to the minute scores and even notifies when players get a birdie or eagle. I love this app!

Easy scoring. We use this app in our Saturday and Sunday group and it is a great way to track your own and and your competitors rounds. Easy!

Great golf group app. Great app for a golf group! You know what everyone is shooting no matter which hole everyone is at. The leaderboard gives that competition feel with multiple groups.

Great app till they forget to test it on ios16. Like the app but having reported an issue that the scorecard no longer renders correctly they go and release a new version with the same issue. How did this get missed in testing

Easy to use. It’s user friendly and easy enter in useful stats as you play in regards to FIR/GIR and amount of putts in a round. It comes in handy to if you have buddies to talk golf with and share the rounds.

Awesome golf app for multiple 4somes...but. Amazing app. I looked at over a dozen other apps and this one was the best and easiest to use. My only issue is allowing users to customize the Stableford scoring. They give 3-4 options for points but ours isn’t included.

Great app. We used this app for Ryder cup 16 person tourney in Mesquite NV it worked great. All players were able to know what match was doing what and we used the handicaps which made it easier for Commissner at the end of the round.
