Good recipes. I find so many interesting recipes that my child likes. But with the lates update I can’t see any contents the the app.

Do not buy this app - it doesn't work. I made the mistake of buying this app before I went to the website and read the reviews there. It does not load. I basically paid $5 for a picture with the title of the app at the top. This was a common theme of the reviews online - I recommend heading there before you purchase. Don't waste your money.

Best App!. This is my no. 1 place for ideas and recipes

Disappointed. Pretty much none of the recipes have photos. Expected more from an app that you have to pay for.

Please fix the bug. This app was great until recently. Now when I log in all the pages are blank. No recipes, no favorites etc just blank pages. Please fix the issue.

Can’t even register!. I have three of the books and I absolutely loved them. Had high hopes for this app. Considering the price tag I am annoyed I can’t even register, let alone see what’s on the app. Waste of money! I will stick to the books.

Not worth the money at all!!. I was really surprised by how little content there is. There are only a few recipes and tips and hardly anything new that isn't on Babycenter or other free baby sites. Many of the cross links just refer to the same content and there are too many plugs for other Annabel Karmel products. It's the most overpriced app I've ever bought and I feel really ripped off. I wish I could return this.

AK app. I love this app! I have one of the books, but the app allows you to watch exactly how a recipe's steps go, in case you still have questions. And, since it's mobile, I don't have any trouble using it at the grocery store.

Won't open. I thought this app would be perfect for starting my little one on solids, however when I try to open the app it states the recipes are downloading- which never do. I have extremely fast internet - google fiber optic, so internet strength is not the issue. I would not recommend this app.

Where did all the recipes go?!. App was working fine until recently. Every section is blank. All my favorite recipes are gone. And it’s been like this for days now. I can’t even register because there is no next or done button after entering all my information. I’m going to uninstall this app. What a waste. 👎🏽

Very good but no shrimp recipe. I love this app. However, there are no shrimp recipe.

Needs improvement. I purchased this, because the website is great and was looking for more functionality with saving recipes and shopping list. This app needs a lot of work. It takes FOREVER to load, and there are not as many recipes as I expected. I would like to see identical copies of the recipes from the website plus additional for paying for the app. Love the recipes, though!

Problem with register. Hi. I just download the app and I have a problem confirming the password of my account. I don’t see any “next” or “done” button so I can go to step 2. The screen stays at Step 1 of the register process and that’s it. Almost $4 for that? Please help. Thanks.

The app is not good. It’s very buggy and I can not access it. Also the recipes and method organization is hard to follow

Poor app. App crashes a lot and just isn’t very user friendly. Scrolling through all the meals to find the one you want is tedious. Regret buying.

Love Love Love. This app gives such a great variety of recipes and because my child is super picky, it gives me so many options to try and choose for that works for him.

Good not great. I really love AK recipes. I make them for my baby all the time. I was hoping this app would be good for on the go but it has few recipes. Also my daughter has a milk allergy so the small selection of recipes is even smaller because most call for milk or cheese!! Great start but it needs more recipes to make it fantastic and worthy of the AK brand!

All of the pictures are the same. There are not too many recipes and the pictures are all the same for all the recipes.

Wonderful recipes but the app is not. I find the app very challenging. I constantly have to enter my information to get the recipes and Although I can put a recipe in favorite folder, I cannot go to it next time I access the app. Also if the phone turns off, I have to repeat the whole process to go back to the recipe I was just using. The recipes are wonderful though and that’s why I go back to the app. Otherwise it’s a pain. Thank you

Very disappointed. I bought this app because I had got the Nuk Cook N Blend food maker and needed more recipes. Only to find out after I wasted my money, that none of the recipes are geared towards the food maker. Wish I could get my money back.

Waste of money. You have to wait for download which is annoying but the videos literally show you how to cut and peal a squash or cut a mango that's it ! Seriously you can get all you need from you tube ! This APP is useless !!

Started missing recipes.... I lve h products and was excited to get this app but now I feel ripped off...the app is not working well and some recipes are missing while oths are just showing the photos and not the ingredients and directions/steps...it is a very expensive app and I really thought that it would have contained more variety in recipes and functioned better...what a waste!

Please fix the bug. I cant open any recipes. When you tried to open it, it shuts down. Please fix the bug. Its not a storage thing, my ipad hasalmost anything on it.

I like it.... ...but with that said I am still hoping that they will update it & add a few more recipes. The recipes I have made are delicious - I want to eat the lovely lentils! I like the shopping list option - very useful if I find myself at the store but have forgotten my list. It is the most expensive app I have ever purchased though. If you already own an Annabel Karmel cookbook you may already have some of the recipes. In response to Kms90's review: You can change the measurements from UK to US under the "More" tab, then "Settings". Once you have done this you don't need to keep checking the conversion chart. :o)

Wasted $$$. This app is not worth it. I read the reviews and hoped that they were wrong but it was true, this app has very few recipes. Not worth it, you are better off just looking for them online.

App not showing ANYTHING. I have being using the app since June with no problem, but since Thursday it is not working at all! The screen stays white and the recipes do not download! I already uninstalled it and reinstalled, and I still have the same issue I sent already 2 emails to the support team, but no response. I was loving the app, but it seems I lost my money

App Doesn't Work. I've tried downloading this app countless times (even left it for about 5 hours one time) and it won't open. It keeps displaying "downloading recipes" no matter how long I leave it to download.

Account “no found”. I purchased the app in 2021 and on the latest update the app doesn’t find my user. The customer service is terrible. I have been waiting days for them to get back to me. I’m so disappointed.

Fantastic UI. Horrible bugs.. My wife and I bought this app to help plan meals for our infant. There are critical logic bugs that need to be fixed. For example, if you switch units from metric to imperial, and add new items to your shopping list, the list has items in grams and in cups. The app should standardize the list in one set of units. My wife added one recipe and the app bombed on her. She restarted and went to her shopping list. Apparently we need to purchase 110 onions this week for one of the recipes. Not sure I could eat that many onions let alone our baby. Two examples of many bugs that are prevalent in this version of the app. Obvious no one tested this before releasing to the App Store.

Waste of money. I agree with the other comments that this app is over-priced and includes too few recipes. I should have simply looked up recipes online for my kids.

Baby food app. Nice but overpriced for the little amount of recipes that are on there. Most of these recipes were already on her website which is free. Disappointed.

Can not register!!. Was not able to register! After putting in all the information necessary to register, there is no next button to move on to the following step . Wasn’t able to use this app.

Keeps crashing when trying to go to 6-9 month recepies. Great app with a lot of options for those looking to have a varied menu tour your little one, unfortunately keeps crashing in both iPhone and/or iPad when trying to get into the 6-9 month recepies.

Doesn’t Work. The app is little hard to understand at first. Once I got the hang of it everything went blank. Now I don’t use it at all. I tried again after months and now it won’t exit from an add to buy more stuff. Very annoying. Not worth the money AT ALL

It doesn’t generate shopping lists. Recipies seem nice. It is not very handy to add one by to the meal planner, specially since there is no way to have a general overview of it. You need to remember what you already add and when. Then, once you succeed, there is not shopping list automatic generation, you need to add the recipes again! It will be really nice if there will be a nutritional preferences quiz at the beginning and then you have meal plan automatically generated, with shopping list. With the option to swap recipes if needed.

Register. It takes forever to register! I don't know why its always loading. I should not register.

Good content, terrible app. The headline says it all. There’s great content in here, but the app functionality is definitely not worth the cost of the app. Sorting/filtering features need work.

Not worth the price. I thought this app would provide me with many different recipes for my baby, considering how expensive it is! Not the case. You get about 10 in each age range. What you're paying for is the "prettiness" of the app. I gave it 2 stars because the recipes are easy to follow.

It’s not working. I purchase this app and it’s not working I try to load the recipes and it give me nothing and that is stilling shame on you 😡

Annabl Karmel app. I have 2 of Annabel Karmel's books and I got the app so that I could have it handy when I go to the store. The problem I have with the app is that I wish there were more variety in recipes. It would be nice to see one or two new recipes added every few weeks or so.

APP IS BLANK!. When I first downloaded the app it was fine. A few days later and the entire app is blank. Useless. Not worth the money. There are no recipes or anything. I want a refund!

Don’t purchase, app doesn’t work!. App gets stuck at downloading recipes and then gets killed. I contacted support and they’re trying to fix it, but for now I can’t open the app. Waste of money that you can’t get back through AK customer support. Reaching out to apple now.

Where did all the recipes go???. Read update below... Everything just disappeared! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app...that didn’t work. It doesn’t let me login or even reregister. I contacted their support team a few times, NO answer. It is VERY rare for me to write a review, and a bad one at that. I am so disappointed with their customer service. **update!! I uninstalled and reinstalled AGAIN, and it is working. So for any of you still having this issue, try doing that even if you’ve already done it. Even though the app works now, and I love it overall, they still get a 1 star for customer service. But I am changing my one star to 3, because the recipes are actually really good and my kids love the food. Ms. Karmel, (or the support team), if you do bother reading reviews, please take heed. BEST EVER. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to have come across this app. I have been using it since my daughter was 6 months old (she is now 1) and she loves everything I cook for her. I love how many ingredients are used and the recipes are full of flavour. My husband always complains I don’t make enough for him! I’ve never been much of a cook but this app has really helped me progress and become that mum I want to be for my daughter. I couldn’t recommend it enough, you will not regret it :)

Doesn’t Even Work!!. Purchased this app a few months ago, worked fine at first. Then a bug kept emptying my saved recipes so I had to search for them all again. When searching, all the recipes had the same image (obviously not the correct image) which was frustrating. Now absolutely no recipes even show up in the app! It’s all blank. I’ve tried deleting the app, downloading again, restarting my phone, nothing fixes it. When I try reporting an issue the website won’t even load. What a waste of money that was... don’t bother purchasing

Disappointed. I purchased this app a year or so ago when I had my first baby starting solids. I’ve used it on and off during that time, but haven’t used for a few months now. Gone to use it again now (as baby number 2 is almost ready to start solids) and you’re now expecting me to pay either a monthly or yearly subscription?! I should still have access to the information I paid for originally…

Making you pay twice?. I bought this app, have just gone on to look at a recipe and is now asking for a monthly or yearly subscription, I understand you can change your way of payment, but what about the people that already paid for it 🤷‍♀️

Best ideas. Love this app so many helpful recipes especially as I have baby brain some days I just can’t think. Simple ingredients makes yummy food for my little one

Very very Disappointed. I bought this app few months ago and recently they updated to the new app, I can’t access it, so the money that I pay for subscription for a year is gone and when I emailed them about it they said you need to purchase it again! That’s very wrong, they were happy to take my money while they knew there will be a new version and can’t access the app! I call this scam! I paid for something I can’t use, I just saw in the reviews that it happened to a lot of people! Don’t waste you money because with any new update their data will disappear and you can’t use this app!!

This app is very bad.. Got the app for convenience but the contents are taking forever to load, it will take you lesser time to just google recipes instead.

Extremely disappointed. This app is full of bugs and images aren’t showing, filters are poor. Waste of money and time. They trick you with a good star rating for people who commented the app is bad. Spend your $ elsewhere. I have free apps that are much better.

WARNING: Don’t pay for this app!. I had paid for this app and then updated it because the app had so many issues and they’ve locked me out! Now as other reviews have said, despite already paying for the app, they have blocked access until I pay AGAIN?! This is stealing! I want my money refunded as I have paid for these recipes!

Rarely use due to always having issues. Have had this app for years when it works it’s amazing but 8/10 times I try to use there’s issues I no longer have the patience anymore to use this app hopefully I’ll give it a bit and might have sorted something out

Ripped off. Worked really well and loved the recipes. But then the app updated and I couldn’t access it anymore, tried contacting with no response. Upon reading MANY more reviews it seems it’s happened to alot of people.

Disappointed. Was referred to this site but a friend. There is no alternate foods for children with allergies. Want my money back was a waste.

Brilliant recipes. A must have for young children. I first purchased this app over four years ago. I absolutely love it. I have cooked many dishes for my children. Love the family dishes too. I have it on my iPad too. Unfortunately there is currently an issue which means there's no content on the iPhone app. This is very disappointing and I can see that the other reviewers are all having the same issues. I have managed to delete the app and download it again and after a little while of downloading, the issue seems to have resolved itself. I hope this can help the other reviewers having the same issues.

Paid for an app that is broken. I can only see less than 10 recipes. Broken and slow. Worst purchase.

Great recipes. Purchased this app after being given Annabel's 100 puréed baby food. The app doesnt disappoint with great ideas for recipes and first tastes for my 5 month old bub. Would love to be able to pop my own food in the planner as there is no option for avocado by it's self and for syncing between my ipad and iPhone as I change between the two often depending where I am. Have contacted app support and they were very prompt in getting back to me and welcomed my feedback. Great app and worth the money if you use your i-gadget more than books and want good nutritional meals for bub instead of buying jars or packets.

Just poor form!. I PURCHASED this app a while ago and all of a sudden I can’t access it without subscribing and paying more money?! We should at the very least be refunded original app price amount now that the app is free for download! Why should original customers be penalised because they download the app prior to updates?

It takes 1 to 2 min to open the app. The content is nice, but it takes such a long time to open the app! I can’t believe they can’t fix the issue. 1 to 2 minutes to open the app! Each time. I will stop the monthly subscription.

Recipes. There are not enough recipes in the app. We need more recipes and has to be updated.

Waste of $, very unstable app, doesn't work now. This is the only app I have purchased and am VERY DISAPPOINTED! I would not recommend this to anyone! I purchased it after a friend recommended one of the books and I ignored the negative reviews hoping I wouldn't experience the same issues. Not the case! I had trouble installing the app (same problem as everyone else - 'downloading content' issues). After several attempts (maybe around 10 or more?) it finally downloaded properly and I could open it. Then I had problems access the app. It finally worked for a little bit and now it doesn't work again! The app opens but shuts down everytime I click on something! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Mrs. Paid for this app a few years ago and still occasionally use the recipes. Opened the app the other day to now find I have to pay a subscription to use it! How is that possible when I paid for the app and what came with it at the time.

Great variety. I am really impressed with this app. I love how the recipes are split up into sections so I don’t get overwhelmed about what to cook. My daughter is 7.5 months and there are heaps of great recipes in the 6-9 month section. Also the fact that a lot of the recipes are a full balanced meal is great. They all freeze well too!

Really great app. I’ve been using this app for my sons weaning journey and it’s been fantastic. Easy to use and find different recipes. I like that you can search by ingredient and age. The recipes are really yummy too. My little one especially enjoys the cheesy carrot pasta.

Cancelled trial due to app issues. App kept resetting and wouldn’t accept my log in. Tried to reset the password and there was a consistent error so wasn’t able to. Ended up cancelling trial due to not being able to log in.

Bugs galore!. I feel the same as everyone else. Great app initially and then all went pear shaped. I all of a sudden couldn’t get in and when I did there was a blank screen. Tried deleting and re adding which worked but then this loading recipe signal kept coming up and wouldn’t go away. Kept spinning and spinning. Such a shame because I saved all of these great recipes for time poor mums and they all went! My son loved the ones I created and I wanted to do the same for my next. Really disappointed.

App is faulty. When I open the app nothing loads, this has been happening on and off since I bought it. Also more recipes would be appreciated if we are purchasing this app!

App doesn’t work correctly. The recipes are great, however the app is very frustrating. When you filter by food type as you scroll to the last recipe the app shuts down. I have emailed the developer and they told me to delete and re-install the app which I have done. Unfortunately I’m still having the issue. They also told me to let them know if the issues still happens and give them my phone type and model, which I have done. I haven’t heard anything back in about a month now. Very disappointing

Scam. I purchased this app before the upgrade and I could only open it once and then it started giving an error message every time I tried to open it. Emailed the support through the website and then got a reply back that they’re launching a new app and will have to create a new account and pay for yearly or monthly subscription!!! What happens to the money I paid already then?? When I emailed saying I want a refund for what I paid they disappeared and never heard back from anyone.. worst ever!!!

Subscription without notice. Paid for this last year, haven’t used it for awhile then all of sudden asking for monthly/yearly subscription on top of it. How is it even legal?

Please fix the app. Takes ages to load, crashes, missing pictures, errors in recipes, always errors. Love the recipes but the app is so annoying

recipes. There are a lot of mistakes in these recipes and the instructions are unclear… I’ve just baked a cake where it’s not obvious the the total amount of sugar is to be split between the cake and the frosting. It’s also the consistency of soup after being in the oven for the stated amount of time..

do not purchase. Disappointed that I paid a significant amount for this app to access fully and then they updated and now I cannot access without a additional subscription. For reading further reviews looks like this happens every update with no care to people who have purchased this access fully in the past. To be honest the app is not worth a subscription service is was good as a once off for some new recipe ideas. I would not purchase now knowing you can get a lot of these recipes but just doing a google search.

Seriously Slow but good app. The app is incredibly slow and take ages to load all data. Can be really frustrating to use. Would have preferred to stick with the internet and get my money back :). The app itself has some amazing content though if it wasn’t frustrating to use would be a great app!

Good app but please fix your bug!!. I use this app quite regularly as most of what my son eats come from these recipes, but every now and then the app would appear to refresh when I open it and once it’s done ‘refreshing’ all the recipes I saved under favourites would be gone. It’s really inconvenient to constantly have to search for those recipes again. There’s been other bugs in the past so overall a very buggy app. A bit disappointing especially considering it’s a paid app.

Amazing Recipes. We bought Annabel Karmel’s cookbooks for my little one. This app is great, because the recipes are more modern and all in one place. My little one loves Annabel Karmel’s recipes.

Full of easy healthy recipes to grow with the child. I originally did the weaning course prior to my daughter starting solids and complimented it by this app. The recipes are great, easy to filter and search by age/likes and great function to save for future use. Definitely recommend and I use it for my daughter and the whole families meals.

The ap for starting solids. Absolutely love the ap. Great recipes divided into helpfully categories (first tastes, 6-9 months etc) Also a helpful place to start a weekly meal plan then you can make sure they are getting everything in one week. My only feedback is a functional issue. When I’m a recipe screen, the picture remains at the top and takes up 2/3 of the screen. This leaves only a small amount of room for the method and ingredients instructions. I suggest when you scroll down the ingredients or method screen that the picture scrolls up and out the way so you have more room to view what you need.

Fantastic app well worth the money. I find this app so handy. Great recipes that are easy to follow. Only suggestion I would make is that it would be good to have a list of recipes rather than having to scroll through each picture in a section to get to one of your favourites at the end of the section. Purchased app previously and does not work anymore. As others have mentioned it’s poor form to pay for an app and then not given access to the content as it seems like their model has changed. I got a new phone, re-download the app and now can’t access the content. Disappointing.

Disappointed. App was pricy for number of recipes. Recipes call for ingredients that you not normally have in the fridge/pantry. Recipes are serving size for the dish, leaving me with left over ingredients. Example: 3/4 can of tomato paste. 1/4 left over, wasteful!

Books are great, this app needs a hand. Love her kitchen, and used it a lot throughout with my first kid! Was recommending. But mostly went along with the Complete Meal Planner and the web recipes. Then started the changes. Account and new accounts request etc, Downloaded this for the inspiration and to revive with my second around. Love that the screen can be frozen as well as the customizable planner and shopping list. And that’s about it! Search option is poor, when you have to come back from the recipe and research the list of the recipes all over and over and over again instead of just returning you to where you’ve stopped. And again accounts access needed to get into some sections. Annabelle, please bring back your simplicity! And structure! Busy with the kids it’s all that a mm needs, ands that’s all a mom has the time for. But thank you for your continuous passion cooking and inventing for the kids!

Highly Recommended. This App is highly recommended. It is clear, concise and easy to use. The recipes are delicious and will see you through from weaning to preparing fabulous family meals.

Crashes with last update. Cant navigate the app anymore it simply crashes only gets to the home screen.

Love the recipes!. I bought Annabel's book, "Top 100 baby purées," and loved it! It has so many great (and healthy!) recipes, not to mention a lot of tips, information on healthy food, and info on allergies and what to look for. Me (and my twin boys) loved the recipes so I bought the app as well, and it's wonderful too! A TON of great recipes, very well organized, and it visually looks great! I highly recommend!

Update fail. Hello, since i did the update, I can't see the pictures of the recepies. Please help to correct it?

Problems with app. I just downloaded this last evening and I am already having trouble. The app keeps closing on me when I go into the recipes. ????

Great recipes-steps need improvement. This is a really great app. It gives plenty of great meal planning ideas and helpful features for creating a shopping list and meal planners. It's a great way to stay organized with little ones. My only "complaint" and it is minor, is that all the recipes are in weight format (grams). Grams don't compute to me in Canada... Would be great if the app had a converter to cups and tbsp. For the most part, I can figure out what would be close to get the correct serving size listed in the recipe or I can make up my own amounts.

Do not buy!. Waste of $5.99! App is too expensive and the recipes are not practical! They are gourmet baby food recipes and you don't get many for the price you pay. I don't recommend anyone to buy this useless app!

Pricey for number of recipes but nice design. Pricey for the number of recipes. I love AK books and use them regularly. But my daughter is quite picky and there just isn't much in here we can actually use. Also the recipes aren't searchable or listed. They can only be viewed by age group. Overall I am disappointed. High price tag for what is delivered.

Great resource. This a great resource to have in the kitchen and while out grocery shopping! So glad this app came out as my second is starting solids. So much easier to use than a cookbook!

For a paid software - broken. Keeps losing my user and password, doesn’t load, doesn’t download updates or recipe. For a paid software, this is terrible. When it works, the content is good. Will change review when it’s fixed.

Review. Just got this App & so far loving it, just wish there was a weekly baby meal planner so I could plan his meals.

Not worth the purchase. I was expecting so many more recipes. Not worth the price.

So helpful!!. It is soooo amazing and so helpful... Actually my son stopped screaming cos he has a full tummy now!! ;) All I do is open the app find a recipe and just do it. Thanks a lot.

Great so far. I just downloaded this app and so far I love it. I needed some new ideas for baby food and this is just what I was looking for. I could have bought a recipe book, but I really wanted the convenience of having it all in my iPod. This app has some great recipes and information on feeding at all stages through toddler. I love the videos too. I haven't used all of the features yet, but will definitely try out the list function. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it for me. One thing is all the measurements are in European metrics but there is a handy conversion chart included.

SCAM. I paid for this app to easily get recipes for my baby. But I couldn’t even log in or register. Waste of my time and MONEY!

Disappointing. Great concept but poor in terms of value for money. If you're interested in recipes go to the website (for free!) where you'll find a greater variety to try.

Great layout. I have the book, but thought it would be helpful to have the app handy, so I can plan meals on the go. But the recipes are limited. Wish there'll be more to come!

Love her. My friend introduced her to me and i just started using her recipes and my baby and I love it!

OVERPRICED!!!. There's apps out there just like this one that's free! Some of the free ones provided more. For how much this app costs, I expected four times more recipes.

It's ok. A few recipes, I was kind of expecting more detail for the age group and more recipes. It would be more worth it to buy the book.

Anna Ner. I see this is a persisting issue. Not able to register too and the app does not show any recipes. Just white pages

Not worth the money. Very few recipes. Tips are silly and don't really provide any new or helpful pieces of information. Some of the foods and nutrition tips are somewhat controversial, for example, giving eggs to children under the age of 1 is not recommended by most nutrition experts or pediatricians. I wish I waited to read reviews of others before buying this app. Def not worth 8 bucks.

Just Average. Forgets to mention whether first fruits need to be peeled prior to cooking (which they do). Doesn't provide the option of not cooking (eg pears don't have to be cooked prior to pureeing). She says she has an app where you can search for a food & it will give you recipes & age appropriate advice - ??? which I certainly can't seem to find.

Its ok. This app is jusk ok. It has only a little bit if recipes for each stage and they are nothing i havent done already. I regret buying it for the price its way to over price for the little info it gives you. I say it sould be worth only a dollar.
