Great Stat Capture and Features. After downloading several stat-keeping apps (ESPN iScore, Ballers, iScout) and being dissatisfied with them for one reason or another, I decided to try one more. The play-by-play capture here is brilliant with just the right number of touches to capture the game. The flexibility of how much/little to capture is better than any other app. My only big issue with it is more superficial: the over-use of color is overwhelming and the font is not a favorite. Based on communications with the developer, a makeover is coming soon which will make this a 5-star app. On my Wishlist is the ability to suppress team members who are absent from a game. You should be able to see who is truly on the bench without workarounds.

Itouch stats. We need a way to add a player during the game without having to exit the game. I have used this app for several years and like it except for that one problem. You can’t get the roster of the opposing team so need to add players during the game.

Problem but love the app.. I had a problem,sent an email received a response immediately. They are looking into it and will get back to me in 30 minutes. I was trying to practice with making up a fake game and when I go back to resume and click on game it takes me to my iPad home page. Also trying to figure out how to delete the practice game I set up.

Majorly frustrated. I have used this product for about 3 years and have been very pleased with it. The only beef I have had was hat it was hard to keep up with the subs during a live game. The new update is very very very frustrating. I was excited to see the new sub layout and believe that it will work but about 25% of the time you have your sub-in and sub-out selected and it doesn't recognize it so you have to cancel and re-do, all the while missing what's happening in the game. I went to do my 3rd live game last night and couldn't create a new game as the wave button was unavailable. After dinking with it for half the game it magically appeared but then I once is selected the starters I was told 0 of 5 had been selected when in fact all 5 slots were selected so I finally conceded and turned the program off. There are currently a lot of bugs and a steep learning curve (if you are used to the old system), but I believe once the bugs are worked out and after about 5-10 games it will be a better program.

Great App. I don't write reviews and don't often spend much on apps. However I looked at several different apps to do basketball stats and decided on this one. I paid 9 bucks for this one and it was money well spent. I did have a little trouble at the beginning learning how to create games, teams etc. and the video downloaded so slow I had a hard time being patient. When I finally watch the help video I was up and running. It was easy after the first game. I had a short learning curve for the location of all the buttons. After the first game it was easy. I love the reports it gives at the end and the ability to email the reports to whomever I want. It tracks by game and by season and provides great detail. I love this app and highly recommend it.

Great app. I've used many apps. This is the one I'm sticking with. Would be great to have more "back out" options and the ability to see a list of the events in sequence. But for ease of use, this is the best I've found so far.

Great app and service. I am a high school coach and a big fan of this product and will be purchasing up coming max preps add on!!!! They charged for me for no reason!!. I downloaded the app last minute because I was having trouble with the app on my iPad. But minutes later, the app started working on my iPad so I didn't even touch the app on my phone. Days later, I see a charge for $10 on my account?! When I know for a fact I didn't charge or buy anything from the app! This is ridiculous and they need to refund my darn account!

GREAT app!!. Love this app! I bought it before my daughter's big kick off tournament and we kept stats all weekend. The ability to get such great detail on every game, every player is a huge help. It takes a little learning to figure out all the nuances but once you do it's an excellent tool. Two other coaches downloaded this app at the tournament and started using it. Definitely worth $9!!

Love this app!. This program is great! it is easy to use. I like the that i can contact the designer for questions and he is always willing to help with quick responses. I promote this product every game, and will continue to do so. Great job with this app! Looking forward to the updates!

simply the best....lol. Definitely don't mind taking the time to rate a product when I get my hands on a solid one. This app is outstanding. Yes it takes some time to get used to but after my third game this weekend, I felt fairly comfortable with the app and the accuracy of my statistics. I'm impressed, can't wait to see updates and the further evolution of this application.

20 minute halves. I’m having a problem with setting it to 20 minute halves. It keeps going back to 8. Please advise.

Amazing. Best basketball app ever for tracking stats. Only thing missing is jump balls which developer quickly replied to request for. Said he would work it into future release. Only other thing would be if you could post all stats on Facebook for team in one button push. Truly a great app give it a few games to get used to it and you will be hooked. Worth ten times the cost.

Great! Time saving!. Fantastic app that gives immediate stats right on the bench exactly when you need them. So glad I chose this one because I could not be more satisfied. The reports are great and very easy to read. It gives me everything I need right away. If you are trying to choose a stat program use this one. You can add your whole season right off the bat and customize the stats you want to use. Give you the option for individuals or team stats to track on the bench. Final reports show you both individual and team stats. Sorts out leaders for you for easy view when needing to send reports to the paper. You can actually just email the reports to the paper if that's what your league requires! Love this app and will use it for years to come! Trying to get my brother who is the varsity boys coach to use it too! (I am the varsity girls coach). Good luck!

Good App- could be great. I have used 3 basketball stat apps so far. I like the ease of use on this app the best. Statsquatch & ESPN I-Score are good but the ease of use with this app won me over. I do wish there could be a few changes / additions: 1) I accidentally hit "end quarter" while in the 4th. I was unable to re-open the game to continue tracking 2) I erroneously scored a shot as a 2 pointer. I learned it was a 3 pointer some time later. I was unable to modify that play. I had to delete it, then I was unable to "insert a play" in it's place at that time slot. I had to add the 3 pt shot at the end of my latest tracked stat 3) I video all of my sons games. I sometimes see that I placed the shot from the game incorrectly on the shot chart. I'd like to be able to choose any play and adjust the shot location. 4) I think UI for scoring is very good, the UI from the main screen seems like it was over looked. 5) I'd like more stat options and export options , like a players stats by quarter. Finally!!!!. I have been going through a bunch of stat apps and even got to the point where I was researching creating my own (yikes!). By far the best stat app known to man...and if you don't know of it you better stop being cheap and drop the measly $9 on it, you will thank me later. As a coach we know that stats are one of the most key things used not only for strategy but to improve your basketball team during practices, and make necessary adjustments. So informative, I was blown away that they thought to include in-depth turnover feedback like ball handling mistakes or bad passes and you can keep track of it so quickly. I am a fan and very satisfied customer. And the best part is the developers keep adding improvements. Keep it up guys! iTouch stats...if you don't have this app you doing yourself a dis-service.

Best app ever. This program is the easiest program to use on the market. My 8th grade daughter was able to stat a varsity game after practicing for only 10 minutes. The reports are as detailed as they come. The most expensive programs are average compared to this. Great job, keep up the great work!!!! The customer service is by far the best around. I have emailed the company several times with suggestions and questions, and they have answered within minutes. Every update has separated this program further and further from all others. You don't need any other program to do basketball stats. This is by far the best investment I've made in my coaching career (23 years). I can't wait to play games just to do stats. Don't tell anybody, but I've had my xbox play 2k11 by itself so I can take stats (that's too addictive isn't it). Travis, keep up the good work and this will be THE standard program for serious statisticians. Hands down the best basketball stat program on the iPad.

Itouch bball stat app. What an incredible app. Thank you. Takes some time to learn but there can't possibly be a quicker or more efficient way out there to track stats. Suggest a 6th "bucket" player for those "who dun it" stats that a stat keeper can't figure out on the fly.

WOWZERS. First time user & I must say that this APP is crazy LIGIT!!! First one to actually use this type of technology in my hometown and got a lot of noise from spectators. Everyone wanted to know what exactly it was what I was doing. When I showed a quick demonstration to a selected few they were amazed just as I was. This app keeps all types of statistics and provides clutch information during and after clutch time. Lol

As detailed as you want it to be!. Very cool app! Looking for something to replace my pen & paper method during radio broadcasts! So many tools for season setup and game play and it gives you options on just how many stats you want to or need to keep! I'm as excited as ever for the season to start!

Easy to use and comprehensive. This a great stats app! I have found it easy to use and this app covers every stat you would ever want to record. I have found it very useful tracking stats for my son's basketball team and his coach appreciates the detailed reports from iTouchStats. Well worth the cost.

Simply Awesome!. This app is truly amazing. It is really easy to use, and after only 3 games, my teenage manager is able to fairly accurately stat a live high school girls game play by play. We track individual stats for our team and team stats for the opponent. I have also entered games play-by-play watching video of the game (pausing when things get crazy to make sure it's accurate), and in comparing my log to my manager's, I'm impressed with how minimal the discrepancy is. The support has been fantastic! Travis always addresses my questions/issues thoroughly and in a timely manner. I also got the MaxPreps File Exporter. I used it for the first time just this morning and it was super easy. I simply sent the file to myself, downloaded it from my email to my computer, and then imported that file on the MaxPreps site. The whole process took less than 90 seconds to do. If you want an easy to use app with lots of functionality, iTouchStats is the one you're looking for!

Great App!. I never thought it was going to work out for me, but it ABSOLUTELY has. As a high school sports reporter, it’s the perfect (and modern) way to keep track of a game. You can be as in-depth or as basic as you want. My one suggestion would be that when you choose to not operate the game clock, that it doesn’t continue to reference time throughout the game from the second quarter on. But that’s such a minor detail. The interface is easy to use, it’s all very convenient to use, and the box scores and statistics are tremendous. Would recommend to anyone!

Best stat app for bball on the market. I have used countless stat apps and have yet to find one that I like till now!! This app is easy to use and if you have any questions Travis will get back to you so quick. You should give this a try and it also loads straight to maxpreps which makes it even more awesome.

This makes stats easy!. When you read the reviews you don't buy into the hype... Believe the hype. This is a must for any of the coaches or players that want to take it to the next level. It helps you keep accuracy in the face of quick action by its build in design!

A Must Have. In one word, POWERFUL. The reason why I purchased an iPad was for keeping basketball stats. I have tried a few other programs and in my opinion this one is the best. The support you receive is second to none. With each update it keeps getting better and better.

Like this! Wish I could make corrections.. We really like the program and find it useful in real time It would be nice to be able to go back and make corrections at the time or especially later when watching film. Coach can use the stats at half time even knowing they may not be perfect. They certainly give him a good idea of how team is doing. He can specify what is most important to him. For example, points, fouls, turnovers, shot chart, etc. because in a fast moving game you may have to let a few things go. In talking to folks from other high schools and Rex leagues, who have tried apps, I am convinced this is the best one! Hope they will adjust it a little to be able to make corrections easy.

The app is great, support even better….. START HERE IF YOU NEED AN APP FOR BBALL STATS!! It's not $0.99, nor is it a waste for the price, its worth every penny. I've been using this app over two seasons now for both youth rec league and AAU seasons. I started tracking stats just for fun and to see where my son ranked among the team in different areas, and has turned into an invaluable tool for the coaches. After the first game I kept stats and sent them to the head coach, he contacted me immediately and said, "You're going to keep doing this for every game, right? This REALLY helps me see what we need to work on." The app is not only great, but the first time I had a thought or question about the app I emailed the vendor via the support link, and I had a response within 20 minutes. I can't say you're going to get a response in 20 mins, but you're GOING to get a response. Not only have I gotten numerous, prompt responses about questions, but the vendor has been VERY open to adding features in future updates. The support is simply OUTSTANDING. You're also not going to get screwed on updates. I've had numerous apps that get rewritten or major releases come out and they change the name, or pull the old app and release the new app, which you have to pay for AGAIN. So far, this has never been the case with iStats, even when a price change occurs. You buy it once, at the price, and you get the updates, even if the price goes up!

Scared about the cost but worth it!!. I searched through several apps, was scared to pay 8.99 for an app as a volunteer coach. It is easy to use but u definitely need someone on the bench to enter. Took me about 15 mins to set up,add pics, and the season. BIG FAN of this app

Awesome product!. Glad to see the improvements which will help immensely. Getting subs logged in was always tough if multiple subs entered at one time. Customer support is A+++++++. I've gotten immediate emails and even texts when I made mistakes during a game to help me out! After checking out several alternatives, I'm so glad I went with this program over any other. People are always blown away when they see me at work with this. I've sold several opposing coaches on this program. Saves so much time compiling up to date stats for the year also.

The BEST stat keeping app on the market. This App is easy to use, simple to master and thoughtfully designed. The reports it generates are second-to-none and it's stat keeping ability is very comprehensive. I had tried a couple other apps prior to finding this one and it is by far the BEST. Our adult league team, the Blacktop Vets, have used it in our city basketball league for over 10 seasons and it never ceases to be amazing. Buy it and you won't be disappointed!!

Excellent app!. I think this is one of the best stat apps available. I would have given it 5 stars but they need to make one change. And that's the font, it is a little distracting and hard to make out especially on a phone. I hope they change it and use a clear and crisp font.

Awesome app!. This is a perfect app. It is easy to use and best of all after a game is completed it is easy to make corrections to stats. The developers respond immediately like within 5 minutes of emailing any question. It might be on the app but the only thing I see myself looking for in the future is a way to keep track of career stats and records! Great job on the App.

great. Like any other program, you will need a couple spotters to make sure you are accurate in a fast paced game and don't get flustered! Very easy to use and the info is incredible. Exactly what I wanted!. This bball stats keeper is simple to use, my 10-14yrs old daughters can use it easily once they got the hang of watching the game and touching the screen. We use this on my iPod Touch and my players love seeing their pic, stats, and who was the "Player of the Game"! Great shot chart give our team a visual of where the other team is scoring their points on the court...they know, but when they SEE IT they really "get it"! Thank you for creating this super app for us, coaches and parents!

Basketball stats for dummies. This app is so easy to use. Once you become familiar w the buttons it couldn't be simpler. I like that I can turn off the clock, shot making and auto functions. My coach likes the report. If someone misses a game the log tells them exactly what happens. I highly recommend this. Mainly because it can be as simple or detailed as you want. My friends actually have fun telling me plays if I miss one. And my son loves the report when he gets home. Worth every penny. I foresee using this the next 4 years.

Coach/Parent. User friendly and informative. Ive played/coached for over 30 years and this is by far the most useful app for basketball stats in the industry. Ive tried others that are not as useful as ITouch Stats and no where near as informative. One of the best funcitons on ITouch Stats is the ability to email the report immedietly after the game to other coaches, trainers and parents for them to see where the player/team. Whether you want free throw% or turn over count this app covers it all. There is nothing else you need for keeping stats. Thanks ITouch RG

Developer contact???. I would love to be able to contact the developer to ask a question, but there is no availability for that. In the app, it says my device can’t send emails, but I do all the time. There’s no developer contact in the store either. Any help is appreciated! The app is great, I’m just trying to figure out how to change the stats that are kept in the default settings.

Awesome. I can't wait to use it again. Keeping up with the action was the hardest part. All the stats you would to keep at your fingertips. Then it is all wrapped up for you in a spreadsheet at the end of the game. Wonderful.

Great App with 1 ask. This is a great app to use for stat keeping. I’ve been using this app for 5seasons now and the ability to get instant real time data to help during radio broadcast has been extremely beneficial. If I could add 1 ask for the developer, is there a way to add a function during a live game scorekeeping that would allow you to create and add a new player to the roster without having to exit the game.

Amazing Apps. This is my second year using this app for my boys high school basketball team. The app takes some patience to set up. There is a learning curve that is required to learn how to use the app during a normal game. Over time it is seamless and easy. This is by far the best app. You can look at your player or your team and pin point the trending stat that you are looking for. The box score sheets are great and work well to export to fellow coaches or parents. The maxprep export feature is a wonderful tool as well. If there were a way to rate something more than 5 stars, I certainly would! Perfect app Works like I charm. I would just like to say your response time and customer service is top notch. I love the app! I am doing my best to spread the word on how easy yet perfect this app is.

This is THE stats app to buy. I bought two other apps before this one and they both lacked or were inconsistent. This app is easy to use and does a great job tracking stats. I went back through my old stats from 3 years ago and added all my old stats into iStat because it so easily generates reports and organizes my stats. I can even e-mail parents on my team a stat report as soon as the game is over so they can see how their child did in the game.

Sherri Bagshaw. I really like using the Itouch Stats basketball software, easy to use even in the fast pace of the game. Customer service is also great. The turnaround time of getting any questions answered is awesome. I recommend this for any middle school or high school basketball programs. Easy enough for student managers to keep track of.

Easy to use with lots of features and great service!. We're using this app to track stats for my son's 4th grade basketball team. It's fast and easy to set up, and the reports are outstanding. It has a lot of features but its easy to only use the ones you want. I've emailed the developer a couple of times and they are super responsive and open to ideas for new features.

Great app. I've used it 3games now and I love it. It would be nice to be able to edit the game log after several plays have passed, or after the game, but it keeps all relevant stats and keeps them quickly, and as I get faster, painlessly. Used it for another 5 games so as an update on this review I have to say I love it even more.

Excellent app. Easy to use. Cool individual and team reports. I promote your app at every game and tournament. I am a school teacher as well as a coach's wife. I believe in sharing good info and good products. Your basketball app is the BEST on the market. I have used this app for 4th grade travel ball, 5th grade travel, middle school, and high school stat keeping as well. (My husband coaches at a middle school + travel teams for my son. He believes in looking for patterns. "That which gets measured gets done." I love that I can use this one app to record a variety of playing levels. The clock feature is great! You've got a superior product at a reasonable price.

Good but could be great. With a little practice, app is easy to use and comprehensive. The only negative is there are too many steps to substitute players. Wish you could just tap on the two players instead of having to pick player, select "sub", pick sub from pop up list (sometimes twice), then select done.

Great. I haven't used this app yet in a game scenario. I like the shot tracker and it appears fairly intuitive to use. it wasnt immediatley obvious if specific coaches notes could be made even if there was something simple like oppositon- PG (5) - right hand dribble only, always drives to middle of paint those types of notes would make this app blow anything else out of the water. I'm excited by the potential of this app and have made some suggesitons. Auto assist- doesn't account for a player going coast to coast- maybe that should be an option. I think there are alot of apps to score a game, I think there is the potential for an adaption of this app to training scenarios. Juniors need to realise the hard work they put in at training pays off in game's. The best way is to track and show that development through progression. There are literally heaps of differnet drills that can be done to improve skills and an app that also focused on training would be invaluable and complement the game report in this app. it's easy to track players through jersey numbers or photos. For future apps it would be great to incorporate a coaches clip board showing how a play was run and then tap where the last 2 passes were compared ot the plan and were the shot was made or missed. That type of functionality would be amazing

Worth The Price. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. You can make the stat-keeping as thorough and in-depth as you want, or turn off some of the features to make it simpler to use on the fly. My team and I have found the button layout very intuitive, which makes it easy to use on the bench during a game. Adding pictures to players is worth doing. Auto rebound/assist/turnover are great. I would like to be able to send the game report to Dropbox, or even have the ability to open it in a PDF viewer app. Also, the report should be part of the Facebook/Twitter link. Overall, great app for stat keeping.

Very good. Worth the money I think. Will see how it works in game next weekend for my teams first game. Will update review. Only thing so far is the font is kinda old school.

Great App. This is one of the best apps I've bought. I did the stats for son's 1st game on an app that shall remain nameless. Looked great, worked ok. Cost the coach $20. I decided to look around. Found this. The price is unbelievable considering how good it works.The color scheme and font leaves something to be desired and I wish I could sync with my iPhone (there is a work) but aside from those three minor things, 2 being ascetic, this app is damn near perfect for scoring games from what I can tell. The layout and customizable options are great. I can't imagine what they can do to make it better. I've done a few tests and it seems to flow smoothly. I'll be using it in a game this week and will update my review.

The stat app. I've seen other apps for much more money that are not as good as this app. This is the first app I've ever rated because it's the first worthy of rating. If you're thinking about purchasing this app DO IT!

Works well,even if you want to mix things up. Great for helping out with team stats. Whats nice is that you can use the app for alot of stats or just a few, depending on how adept you are. You can even add stats in after from others who have been doing manual stats. Keep detailed stats for your team and team summaries for the other team is alos possible. Editing teams, schedules, and rules is intuitive. E-mail option is perfectbfor sharing. Brian

AWESOME App!!!. This app is absolutely AWESOME! It allows me to easily track Points, FG% (2pt & 3pt separate),FT%, Rebounds (Def, Off & Dead Ball), Fouls, Assists, Turnovers, Blocks, Steals & Minutes Played! All this and it gives me a Shot Chart as well! Manually, you'd need 3 or more people taking stats to get the information! I get this myself using iTouchStats! The support response is excellent as well! I submitted a question on Monday mid-morning and got a response before lunch! LOVE IT!

Products works a well, if not better, than promised!. Downloaded fast, quick setup for first game, intuitive interface with many functions. Would like to see something as good available for a laptop device. Currently using it on iPhone 4 (AT&T) without amy problems. Reports are informative and lacking in nothing, so far! Will be putting it to the test this weekend at a local tournament! Price is right and not a deal killer. The Facebook and Twitter posting functions are a welcome feature. It is nice to be able to e-mail stats out to the coaches as well as those parents who are interested. Great product!

Awesome. I highly recommend this app for keeping basketball stats. The support is superior to any app or software I ever used. Don't waste your time with any of the others, this one is well worth the cost.

Good not Great. Like the app's functionality and report capabilities. Really dislike the graphics/fonts. Would like to see a feature that would make it easy to stat practice scrimmages with my team split into two teams.

Simply great. Great tool for scoring a game, and keeping stats for each game and for a whole season. I printout weekly reports for each player, so they can keep track of each game, and their progression for a season.

NEEDS A WEB VERSION TO ACCOMPANY APP. 1. THERE NEEDS TO BE A WEB VERSION TO ACCOMPANY THIS $9 APP SO THAT INPUTTING PLAYER, TEAM AND SEASON INFORMATION IS EASIER! 2. There needs to be the ability to correct points and shot location at any time and not just right after it happens. A games moves to fast for that. 3. "Traveling" needs to be an option to choose under Turnovers

Awful. This app is a prime example of why there needs to be a refund policy from the itunes store. It is nothing like the description reads. Very clunky, incredibley hard to use. Extremely disappointing.

Wow, is this for real?!. By far the BEST app I've ever purchased. This thing has everything you can imagine for keeping stats for basketball. Truely a great investment for running my league. Well done, bravo!

Easier than expected. Well worth $10! Incredibly easy to use on iPad & iPhone. Easily customizable with ultra-detail or just basic scoreboard. Really satisfied with purchase.

Works great!!. I use this to keep stats for a high school team. Subbing needs to be a little easier but other than that it works great.
