Try sticking to the news without a left leaning slant.. For instance. There are many irregularities in maricopa county that the audit is revealing. Why isn’t that covered? Instead you have a nobody giving a statement about how trump is insane. This is not reporting. And makes many Trump supporters realize how biased you are. Always go for true reporting. I see you have your left leaning weekend staff writing you’re articles. It would be wonderful if you could just present the news without filtering it through cnn.

Format is not user friendly. We only have a TV in our living room, however, I like to watch the news while I get ready in the morning, so I use the ABC13 app on my phone or on my tablet. There are several format issues, but the main one is that the “watch live” banner is so small that even with my petite fingers I often hit the story below instead. Also, there isn’t enough space between the watch live feature and the story below when you want to make it full screen. The little full screen box is in the lower right corner and when I click it, it’s the same issue. Very frustrating. In general though, the over all “look” of the app is a little “low end” and “jumbled”. It’s not very sleek or easy on the eyes. It’s not easy to find the story you just got an alert for, which is very frustrating. I also wish they would switch up their story queue when you watch a story and then it goes into another one. They use the same story queue, so it’s the same ones over and over again when there is an entire feed of fresh stories to watch. Much to improve upon in this app.

Terrible App. This is a media company’s app. It should be the height of technology, and it is so far from that. There should be breaking news, updated stories and all sorts of stuff on here. I sign in every day and see the same stories. I’m looking for up to the minute news. I’m going with a different channel.

No on mom a good app. Used to be a good app. Now mute won’t stay on when you want to read the story. And when you do try to watch the videos it constantly shuts the whole app down and then you have to restart the app from the beginning. I used to use this app frequently, I’m now to the point of deleting it from my phone.

Used to be great. Well they have really done it. They took a five star app and turn it into a two star lousy one. All of the important features of the whole App are gone. The new app has little to no organization end it is very hard to find a live stream option. Ads are annoying and repetitive. The greatness of the original ABC 13 app is gone. This app has a really bad design, repetitive continuous advertisements and no lifestream option, all of which the old app offered. I would not waste my time with the new version. I wants five star app is now a two star app and is now being removed from my phone. I am moving to KHOU's app. Not only does their app have a better design it is also more easily navigable than this one. Don't waste your time on this app. It is not worth it. There are better apps out there for getting news.

Loaded with LIBERAL BIASED reporting. SAD.. I give it 2 stars based on the news lay out and ease of use. This app caters to city of Houston ideology and does NOT represent a majority (area or population) of Southeast Texas. Years ago I felt as if “journalism” was reporting to the public important facts and unbiased review of current events. Not anymore. The “news” is really a condensed version of how the “reporter” sees the events using colorful adjectives to “put down” ideas and ways of life opposing their own. Having said that, it is understandable that this is what journalism has become given the fact that social media is doing a great job at limiting speech and stifling views opposing their own. It is SAD that our children may grow up in this environment. Real journalism should report on BOTH sides of a story which are based on FACTS. I would encourage news seekers to keep looking for alternative unbiased reporting whenever possible and teach your children the same-

App. The new app is awful. Impossible to find traffic and weather and when you do finally find it the traffic has changed because it took 10 min. This is the worst app ever and my husband and I will be going to another station that has things in clear and concise order. Awful just awful... why?

Worst App goes to ABC13KTRK. Your videos are littered with ads, so much as content the story or video never plays. Not to mention your stories are the same 5 stories everyday, Do you not have any people working there ? The stories are poorly written with no talent in developing the story in lost within two sentences that are as plain and misleading. I don’t blame people for getting their news from other sources of social media like Facebook and Twitter when you are giving us junk to watch and read. I know it’s probably not your call on what story to write about, but at least make the story interesting rather than opinionated one sided garbage filler. Please work on these stories better.

Got bugs - Closes App for no reason. ABC13 is my favorite news station. However this App needs some bugs fixed. It shuts down right in the middle of reading or watching. Not only my phone but also my husband’s phone. Then you have to open the App again and search for the article you were reading. Not liking it. Used to be 5 stars but not any more. If there’s a fix let me know.

Constantly freezing up and then just disappears!. I’ve been reading the news on this app for a few years now, actually look forward to it every day but the past several months the app just freezes, can’t scroll, can’t do anything and then all of a sudden it just shuts down. I swipe everything away and reopen the app, scroll back to the article I was reading to continue on. A couple articles later, it happens again and this continues on and on. I’m frustrated as hell and I’ve uninstalled the app, reinstalled but it hasn’t made any difference at all. Someone needs to get this figured out, I’m getting closer every day to uninstalling the app for good! I use this app on my iPad and my cell and have this problem on both of my devices. Please fix this!

App crashes. I hate to give up this app because when it works it’s great, but I’ve opened it too many times to check the news only to find it crashed again. I’ve done the delete/reinstall several times and restarted my iPad even more times but these are only temporary fixes as results are the same in the end. Since this is the only app on my iPad that does this I have to conclude it’s not the iPad.

Ads, ads and more ads!!!. I like the app well enough, but the ads have got to be reduced at the least! They’re entirely too excessive. When I want to watch a breaking news story, I have to endure a (usually) 30 second ad before I’m able to watch the breaking news video. This is aggravating beyond belief! The layout is okay, but improvements could certainly be made for better accessibility and ease of use.

Abc 13. I love the new abc 13 app it gives u updates and let's your u know when breaking news occurs immediately and also on the go to and even on my mobile device continue the improvement of the new abc 13 app and keep us informed love u abc 13 news team and keep up the good work!!!

Notifications lead to a loading screen. Everytime I try to access a story through a notification, it leads to a blank loading screen and never loads. Sometimes I can’t find the article the notification advertised after the fact which is quite annoying. Other than that the app works fine.

App pops up even when it isn’t open. When using App Switcher on my iPhone, a little ABC13 notification bar appears at the bottom of the screen that says, “Good morning, Karen” and if I accidentally tap it, it opens the ABC13 app. I can’t seem to turn this off. I’ve turned off all notifications for ABC13, yet this banner-type thing keeps appearing. I enjoy the morning news team, but unfortunately, I’m going to have to delete the app unless I figure out how to disable this feature. Very frustrating.

Perfect if videos will stop playing. I loved the app until a change that had videos start to play when I’m trying to READ the news. I don’t want to see the videos or have them randomly start playing out loud, so I just have to forego reading the news in public settings or when I need “quiet”. I’ve become accustomed to repeatedly clicking the X to close the video before it starts playing (can’t always catch it in time). It’s a real pain for those of us who are just trying to read the news.

Notifications. Let me start this out by saying that I love abc 13. They are my go to news station, but can y’all do something about all of the news alerts that are phased out to the phones? I’ve noticed recently that y’all are sending out items that aren’t really breaking news worthy. I know y’all have to compete with other local news stations, and y’all want to be the first to tell the news, but there has to be something y’all can do. Maybe a filter for push notifications?

Really messed this app up with this update! Don’t recommend updating.. Took a really user friendly app and ruined it with this update. If I had known how messed up and worthless this app would be after the update, I would not have updated it, now its virtually worthless. Seriously considering deleting it. Also to note, the advertisements and data mining is ridiculous...I read an article about a truck driver who became stranded and instead of breaking out some of his potato chip cargo, he went hungry...for months now I have been showered with truck driving schools, truck driver everything in my emails and advertising across the board, all from ONE article.

5 Stars. I am such a big fan of ABC13! Everyone from the news anchors to weather and traffic reporters to the reporters and camera people at the scene of whatever is happening are professional and always make me feel safe and aware of what's going on around me. The Accu Weather APP has been amazing during this huge storm, Harvey, too. I always tune in and I am grateful for all that each person does at ABC13KTRK!! ☺️💕

Abc 🤩. I always get updates as they happen this can be good and bad but I rather know what’s going on than know what’s going on it is very helpful to know things as they happen and not have to wait to get home to watch the news.. so glad I have this app it’s very useful and beneficial in many ways so thank you for that I give 10 stars I’m so pleased by this app keep up the good work!

Crashes. This app constantly crashes on me. I will click on it and it opens and then while viewing or scrolling through a story it just stops. It will totally shut down and then I have to reload to view it again. This is very annoying just to try and view the news.

Losing a viewer. The negativity that is broadcasted daily on this station about the President and the whole Republican Party is dumbfounding. When a nation is in such turmoil you keep trashing everything except Sheila Jackson Lee who is nothing but a media w***e that wants to make everything racial. Try bringing this community together instead of creating and broadcasting bs. I have been a loyal viewer for over 30 years but now turning your station off!!!

KTRK is a channel you can count on. Ever since I moved to Houston in 2007 I became a believer in the mission of KTRK. They are dependable and consistent. Weather is handled in a professional and competent way with 5 certified meteorologists on rotation and commitment to giving you the best information so you can stay informed. Friendly anchors serve the news in a good way. However, KTRK's true strength is in its reporting staff. These guys in the trenches get the story and they attempt to get it right! God bless them!

Jerky changes. Whoever changes your scene’s & abd cameras has got to be the most unattentive person there. So, a news piece is on & JERK nothing onscreen, right in the middle of a sentence or introduction JERK GONE! If you thought you had a good manager or programmer or whatever, NOPE…Not at all, or whoever’s hand is on the switch just JERKS it from one video or piece or scene to another or to nothing at sll. So, yeah, jerky is what I call it. Extremely bad at PLANNING or CARRYING OUT A SMOOTH transition. Yes, SMOOTH TRANSMISSION from one news item to another is what it is called. So, three stars is GENEROUS…

ABC. Why is it that ABC makes such a BIG deal over the immigrants trying to get to our borders ? Making it so sad . No one made them bring their families through such horrible conditions. Why don’t you care about our American citizens that live in poverty . Even our veterans that went to war for you . There are children that don’t have enough food to eat . You need to clean up your news. I can’t even watch it anymore and it was once my favorite . You need to show some respect for our President . We the people voted him into office . You won’t let me post . Are you afraid ?why hasn’t this been posted ???? What are you afraid of ? I can’t stand your Fake News. I want to see you post this.... your news is all a bunch of nonsense ........

Tv. This seems like the only way to talk to y’all this past year starting in the fall I can’t watch channel 13 with a antenna I haven’t changed anything have a very good and strong antenna other channels come in fine it’s only 13. So I can only stream the news please help Thank you I love my 13

THE WEB SITE THAT IS AFRAID TO GROW UP. As large as Houston is, as diversified, and as cosmopolitan, this App contains very little useful news about the city, the county, or the state. It seems as if this station is "going along to get along". The news stories lack depth and originality. Way too many "fluff stories" hang around way too long taking up space for possible news that has merit and useful information. Where are your investigative reporters? Is the Houston/Harris area county devoid of lawlessness, graft, and any number of other problems? Your web site seems to give that impression. For supposedly being a professional news outlet, in the 4th largest city in the United States, I have found more useful information in "Mom and Pop" county papers and/or web sites. Shame on you channel 13 for being afraid to show differential performance. It may be time for me to move on, relegate your site to the "cloud", and just let it float away.

COVID-19 old. I usually really appreciate your coverage of the greater Houston area news. But Your app recently pushes out a NEW notification about NEW Covid-19 patients. But the notifications brings me to an older article that doesn’t talk about the new case (as advertised), but every single old case I have already read at least two dozen times is listed in that news story. PLEASE start a new article so I don’t have to read through it all EVERY TIME and learn nothing new to me. AND make sure THE NEW INFORMATION is in the news story/video before you push send on those notifications.

Ads always play before any crisis live broadcast. After numerous attempts to see breaking live coverage it would not allow without 30-60+ seconds of commercials. By that time it became useless. I understand d the ads for money but use it on watching previously aired items, NOT updates on active shootings or other important items. This is the reason companies got to cnn, fox or others. I like your station but if I always have to watch ads even during crisis programming, I’ll delete and just stick with ATT TV. I’m sure 99.9% would agree.

Please remove or change the marketing within the app.. I enjoy reading the news, weather and sports in your app, but the Apple Music ad needs to go or change the setting on it. When you are scrolling your app and if you accidentally hit the Apple ad ( which seems to be every time) it immediately opens your safari tab and the your Apple Music tab. Frustrating and put simply it’s just easier to get the news from another app. I understand the necessity for ads, but not ads that open other functions on my phone.

Great news station. Channel 13 eyewittnes news has always been very informative and acurate in their news information. 40 years of living in Houston that is where I got my news. Besides being very professional the anchores and the crew in the field are very compassionate and caring.

Biased news. If you’re searching for more news bias then you’ve found it. Weather is time delayed not real time. Don’t know why they can’t link to real-time doplar rather then recording it then putting it up. Had emergency tornado warnings both on tv and phone, which didn’t show up until 10 minutes later. If it was an actual tornado there app would have missed it altogether. I went to the weather channel to actually see where this warning was located. Every amber alert shows up 15-30 minutes later, seems no emergencies are put up until it’s too late.

Needs to have a Picture in Picture feature. This app need to add a Picture in Picture feature when it is enlarge to larger screen so that we continually to work while watching the news. After enlarging the screen there no why to do other things on our iPad because it kicks you out of the app and to continue to watch the news you have stop what you are doing and just watch the news.

Good app that can be better. This app provides me all the news I need for the Houston area. One of the main problems I have is that I get an alert that there is going to be a news conference. So then I click on the alert and it takes me to the article. I press play to see the LIVE event.. BUT they play an ad FIRST before they allow viewing the live event. There have been several times that by the time the ad finishes, I have missed the live event. They should REALLY consider disabling ads for the live events. Play them all you want on the replay of these events. Play them all you want on stories. But by putting the ad in front of the live event you are causing people to potentially miss out on important information which they may be seeking. In fact after removing such ads they should verify against their competitors and could “guarantee no ads for live events”.. could be a very big selling point vs your competitors.

ABC13KTRK. I have been in the Houston area for near 50 years. I have just now moved to the Spring-Woodlands area, and I have watched ABC13KTRK since the first time I moved to Texas. I think that ABC13KTRK covers the news better than any other stations. I am an ABC13KTRK fan and usually watch every episode so I can catch anything new, that only you all investigate. Thank you for all your hard work, I love ABC13KTRK, and I will always be grateful for to be able to watch you💝!!!!

Review of new format. I don't like that I have to scroll through all of your stories to see what's going on in the world, I like the old version where I could pick out just what I wanted to see , this version makes you look at everything and in the morning before work my time is short .

Often wrong video. Often times I’ll click on a story and a wrong video news segment will play. It happens a lot! Also, it struggles to go into landscape mode. If you try to put it in landscape mode it will repeat the 3 minute commercial, even on live feeds which is a pain because it means you are missing live tv minutes. Abc often times for the live feed you have to sit through a long commercial that isn’t even from a sponsor, it’s a commercial about KHRT13.... which is making you miss portions of the live KHRT13 news feed of an important breaking news event. Pretty redundant when you are already trying to tune into the advertised station.

Not lovin’ the new news app. I especially hate the new weather part of the new news app. Too many changes. It already never matches up with the accu weather app in partnership with abc13 that they say to use. And now I can’t find things I previously could. Not happy with it and also too many ads, more than before it seems.

Not what it used to be. ABC 13 used to be my favorite news channel, I’ve watched them my whole life. My dad would watch the news when he got home from work and I’d watch too. It’s sad to see such an incredible newscast spin very biased stories. I hate to leave, I just can’t sit and watch this station turn into CNN. The days of getting the straight news with no bias is done. Cover the story, make the observation and don’t lean on one side of the other. Leave your opinions out of it, support the country and stop trying to create division or push liberal media. Many, many, many Americans are no longer trusting news sources, be careful ABC, its a slippery slide down hill. You need to remember ABC that half of the country still supports conservative views. Wish you the best, here I come Fox. And if Fox is doing the same, I’ll stop with them and no longer watch any news. Gain the trust of your viewers, spin the truth. If you don’t know the truth about the story, don’t air it.

Too bias. I’ve been a long time viewer of Channel 13 since I was a little girl. I also prefer to read the news instead of watching it. Channel 13 has become more bias towards certain topics and it’s so obvious. It has also turned into sensational news. If I wanted that, I would have tuned into enews. Can we go back to reporting without being bias please. Let the viewers have a mind of their own rather than control them. Also too many links and ads on each stories.

Very glitchy app. This app offers current up-to-date news articles and weather information. However, the app is very glitchy and often crashes. Many of the news videos will show you an advertisement before the video plays with the app becoming stuck or crashing completely before you are even able to view the news video.

Love the channel and hate this app. The channel and the Newsroom are fantastic, but this app is a real pain, have bugs everywhere. Additionally, as a suggestion It will be great if you broadcast the news all day, not just some specific times, it could be just the replay of the last broadcast, in that way if you missed the lattes broadcasts you can still catch the news latter, having only this short videos about the news are not the best. Lastly, if you repeat the latest news broadcast you may be able to push more publicity....

Disappointing. Too many links to side stories within a article that can be hit while scrolling. Frustrating to have to keep going back. Also, app keeps locking up and crashing, maybe too many things/ads working in the background.

Used to love it. Well I finally deleted the ABC 13 app from my phone. It used to be a great news app, but since their last update the videos auto play when I click on a story, even though I disabled that option. And then it got to the point where I couldn’t even read the story after pausing or canceling the video, unless I watched the video. I prefer to read the news. If I wanted to watch the news I would watch it on tv. If it’s on my phone app I should be able to just read it.

I am unsure y’all know this...however; to save $$$ for funerals: You can buy caskets, urns, vaults “on line” TOTALLY legal, & ALL funeral homes by law have to accept them. They get shipped within 24 hrs. Of ordering. Look them up, just type in caskets on line. I truly hope this helps ANY family who needs assistance! God bless ALL of you at ABC News! Unjustified!. I’m only giving a one star cause I had to give one! Just wanted to let you know that because of the the cancellation of a show that I like to watch made by ABC, I am gonna take a stand and cancel your app from all of my devices and no longer watch ABC at all. So maybe ABC will feel the devastating affects it had for a lot of other people in this world anyway I’m done with unforgivable people our world is going to hell in a hand basket and the media is playing right into it as well. So without ABC having any ratings because of this show does this mean you will be leaving the airwaves as well?!?! What’s good for the goose is good for the gander! Two wrongs don’t make it right! Treat others how you would want to be treated! Adios amigos! I used to love nothing but ABC13KTRK but I now have to take a stand as well!

Great way to keep updated. I just recently added the app to my phone and had the notifications turned on. I really like seeing the news that is happening right now and not having to wait for the news on TV or keep watching online. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I can’t seem to search for older news stories. If there is a search function, maybe make it more clear in the future updates. Waller Resident

Dissatisfied. Been having this app for over a year and it has been updated once or twice, I would like to keep it but I'm going to delete it because my app freezes up! Video freezes or buffers too much some videos don't play after being forced to watch adds and now when I open my app the screen is black it shows nothing! I get all my push notifications but when I want to see what's going on, I see nothing and I'm tired of this! So deleting

It Disappears. While reading the app closes for no apparent reason. It may happen several times in a row then you finally give up and look at a different news app. I reported this problem several months ago. The problem got slightly better for a while but is worse than ever now 6/25 Now it will not open

Auto-play nightmare in crash land. Figured out you can disable auto-play, settings bottom right/video/never auto play) but now it crashes all the time. have tried reinstalling but same. It’s very disappointing since review page covered with reviews re:crashes you would think they would try to push updates but they haven’t. Last update was 4 weeks ago according to Apple. Did the app dev team quit? Are they trying to save money by letting someone’s kid take on app dev as a school project? I guess if the app quit crashing maybe they could send a reporter to ask these kinds of questions!

Not liking the new app. Can’t find Live newscast. Like to watch the news, traffic and weather at the 5am. Why the need to select “My News” when the need is to hear about the entire viewing and listening area of Houston.

Can’t read. When I get on and start reading I’m not able to finish because it skips to the next article. I keep trying to go back to finish reading but it won’t let me!!! Very saddened because I miss watching the news a lot.

Great news reporting team. The quality of the news and weather reports are excellent and delivered directly to your cell phone. Receiving accurate information is the most important part of news casting.

Awesome. I love this site! Its very informative and up to date always! Wish there were less ads to have to watch before going to a story. Thats the only thing I dont like.

Closed caption!. Please put closed caption on a ticker tape or a continuous roll that does not move the words harshly from our eyesight. We can not follow the closed caption without really working on it because it’s a hard break everytine the sentence flips and you have to quickly look for where you left off. Please make this easier to read where we don’t have to constantly refocus everytine the sentence moves upward. Irritating and gives a headache. Thank you.

New App. Don’t really care for this structure of the app, but I suppose in order to stay on getting Channel 13 news on my phone I must use your “flip” system news app. I really enjoyed the old app.

ABC13KTRK. When I open a notification, at least 75%of the time it will go to the home page or a previous opened article. I lose the notification and there is no search bar or way to retrieve the notification article. So frustrating.

Ads make the pages move. The app doesn’t what it’s supposed to do, and it works fine, apart from the fact that the pages move when you click a news item. Because the ads or widgets take time to load the page jumps to where you lose track of where you are. First world problem, but one that ought to be able to be fixed nonetheless.

Frustrating App now!. I used to love this app. It worked great. I could read the articles and move on. Now every time I open an article a video add pops up. If I want to use it, I literally have to turn my volume all the way off so some loud add doesn't start playing. I used to guage the quality of other news app against this one but not any more. Its incredibly frustrating and I avoid it now. It used to be my go to app for Houston news but not any more. Its really a shame!

Not a Fan. Not a fan of the new design. For me it’s not customer friendly. I like having the news, weather & traffic all in one location. Looking at other Houston news source for my phone. New is not always better.

Channel 13. I am a Houstonian at heart I live i Flowermound Texas moved here three years ago so glad you’re showing the Fourth of July freedomSomehow we got channel 13 ABC here only for the parade which we could see you more thank you.

Pop up push notifications don’t take you to the article mentioned. I dislike this app now because push notification alerts with an article deliver to the phone yet when you click on that particular notification, guess what? No article corresponding to it. Please check out the app “News Break” instead. It works great and delivers the most important news with all the local area news stations combined.

Playing same video. Please stop playing the same irrelevant video after playing a news video. Looping too the next current NEWS video is much easier to enjoy the app. Also the pics representing a news topic duplicated under another story is annoying and shows poor management of the app. I’d think abc 13 was more up to date to make these mistakes .

Slow to open, hard to navigate, burdened with ad linkages. This app has become increasingly slow and difficult to launch. It is also very messy with the many ad linkages that seem to take increasing amounts of my screen. As a result, after years of using this app, I have found myself very reluctant to open it and more apt to open one of the other lical tv news apps.

Ehh. Not a fan of the advertisement automatically taking over your full screen regardless if you are reading an article or even viewing the ad. Can’t listen to any sound when opening the app because it cuts it off

Real time useful news lacking. I’m a commuter and need to know the most up to date commuter news possible. But that doesn’t seem to include the TRAINS! I work in the medical center, and one “incident” on my line can prevent me from reaching home. Be better at providing for ALL Houston commuters, not just those on the roadways. Otherwise I love you. 😌

Simple request. .... Please move the play button for videos off center. The current location blocks the video picture. If you have the time to watch the ads and videos this is not an issue. There are times that you just can't watch a video and the play button obscuring the image is frustrating. Case in point: AMBER alerts. You show the pic of the kid but block it with the play button. Not smart!

Unhappy Reader. I love reading the news and this app provide me the opportunity to do so on the go. However I rated it with two because the app times out every day while I’m in the middle of reading. This is a ongoing problem that I hope someone fix soon.

ABC News. I check out news updates throughout the day. Local news is constantly updated, which I look forward to.

I like the app but sometimes it freezes and crashes. I like all the content. Great app, but almost every time I look at all the articles, it will crash and have to go back and go to the app again. Otherwise it’s great.

News app needs LOTS of work. Unfortunately the app frequently shuts down during use. For example, this morning I had to reopen the app 4 times (I’ve never used the app where I didn’t have to reopen it frequently). Even more frustrating is when I attempt to report the problem on the feedback section, it never loads - I report form means no bad reports right? Smh ABC 13 is my favorite local news channel here in Houston, and I’m shocked that they haven’t provided a quality app that works better.

Freeze/Lag. Just got done watching a video and the app starting lagging, when scrolling up or down it took some time to respond and then backed out to the homepage and then it froze and it also causes my phone to lag when it’s in the background until I clear it, I’ve had this app for awhile now and I enjoy using it for my local news, Please fix this issue

Keeps crashing. The app crashes continually every day. I cannot look at all of the news stories posted that day without the app crashing 3 or more times. This has been happening for the last several weeks. Ironically, I went to the Feedback Form to let the administrators know, but the form will not load. I keep waiting for an update to fix this problem because I cannot believe I am the only person having this issue, but sadly nothing has been done.

Omg!. I can’t find the forecast anymore!!! Why why why would you screw up a perfectly good thing! I hate the new app! I used to be able to view all of the stories better too! Well, for the first time I’m downloading channel 2 and 11 apps to see the forecast. Put an option to view as old app! Morons Oh wait, more? Ok, you keep changing it for the worst. Now when I go to “read” a story...silently, it starts the video loudly and I don’t want that! Let me start or not start the story!!!

Unfortunate. Apparently abc 13 out of Houston has made their political choice to go “far left” versus having the fortitude to remain neutral. Why is it so difficult to find media sources that aren’t leaning right or left? Accuracy matters and when you choose left or right accuracy becomes misinformation. I don’t care about anyone’s political spin I simply would like straight forward accounts related to the facts… it’s that simple. Definitely deleting this for something that makes integrity a priority.

This updated app crashes on my 6splus. Used to work.. This app has been one of my favorites until this last update. Now it no longer runs on my 6S Plus which has the latest current IOS version. Whatever was changed, please fix it!

App is bad now!. The updated app (whenever that was done) may show a new story, but then goes into repetitive mode and you have to scroll past all the repeats to read any updates (and often there is none) and then you “press back” to go to next story and it goes right back to the continuous repetitive top of “news”. Not good and aggravating.

Won’t open since last update. I have three local Houston news channels. This used to be the only one I used. However since the newest update, this app will not load. Now I have to use the other two channels and don’t like them as much as I like ABC13, before they tried to fix bugs and other issues. I hope it helped for some people because from reading the recent reviews it’s ruined for a lot of us.

Channel 13- ABC Houston News App. I don’t really watch television but I use the app to catch up on my iPhone. It keeps me puzzled because the app crashes extremely too much. I’m hoping they will soon have a fix for this, I’ve tried to report it on the feedback tab to no avail. The feedback never works, it constantly threads when I try to use it. At any rate I do like the app but I don’t like wasting my time.

I like the old app. This new app is very difficult to navigate. I like the old app much,much,much better. If it ain’t broke,don’t fix it. The old app was great. I used the old app many times daily, this new app I very seldom use. I would put zero star if I could.

Quick, Reliable, One-Stop Shop for all of your local Houston news!. I like to pop back into the app from time to time, when I feel like I am homesick. Can’t wait for those “Eye on the Gulf” section comes up in hurricane season.

Like it. Everything works great! I love the new design, except for the traffic interactive map. It was easier before the update because I could quickly look at the map while driving

Weather channel drama queens; ktrk is far better. The weather channel is pathetic... all drama queens only knows how to talk about your impending doom. Ktrk abc-13 though is the best . I can't say how many times their weather updates and continuing coverage during hurricane Harvey was invaluable. You guys and gals are the best!

Music and ad sounds when try to play video. Does anyone else have the same problem when they try to stream a breaking news video? I am alerted. Click on the feed to show a video, click play, and the video starts playing but the sound is different. It’s an ad or awful music that is nowhere to be seen on my screen. Is this a flaw in the app video feed technology?

App quits. Your app for the last two months or so has consistently suddenly quit working after we read about 1/2 up to 2/3 of the articles I don’t know if something on the app is overloaded but it is annoying because then you have to re-open the app and scroll down to where you left off thanks if you can fix that. ABC13 Ap.. I really enjoyed this ap. It kept me updated on all the latest news in Houston and especially Hurricane Harvey. Couldn't have ask for better information and service. I have recommended this ap to several others. Thank you.

Big improvement over the other local stations. It’s about time somebody figured out a format that doesn’t drown you in pictures and ads.

Houston worst news app. App starts with a clip that you didn’t play and won’t let you read the stories. Was working fine till like a week ago. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it and still doesn’t work. I would give it a zero if I could

Reliable. I have always been a fan of channel 13. I have had your app for a couple years and it is my go-to weather and news app. Thank you for all you do! Your dedication to Houston particularly this past week has been phenomenal. 💛

Worst app ever!. Worst app out of 5 major news app in Houston. I switched over from click 2 Houston when you acquired Jacob Rascon. Your app is not user friendly. You would think since you cater to a distinguish customers. Please revisit and use click 2 Houston as a guide. (Bolder head lines, larger fonts) I hope this doesn’t go on deaf ears. I used to watch Channel 13 growing up with my grandmother, the only news channel she would watch. Please help me stay!

Didn’t like any of the changes. The app seems difficult and very different to use than the last app. I get a feeling that I have to navigate the site to find what im looking for. The biggest problem is finding the 7day weather forecast. What a bummer.

Follow ups. When something happens and it’s not a follow up behind it, that’s bad. I would like more follow up on News stories. Like identifying people who’s been in tragic relationships, accidents, shootings. Just follow up on the stories cause so many times it says, We will update you at a later time, but never hear nothing later.🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

Terrible app- able to all nbc and cbs without a problem. Your app does not work on I phone???. Your does not work- able to get all news on my I phone but your message says no internet. What give?

Great app. If you live in houston, don't have tv, and need urgent relevant local news then this app is great. Hurricane Harvey was on its way in and I didn't know till the Tuesday before it hit, tried out a few news apps and this one worked great, kept me informed in a timely manner. I'm keeping it.

Crashes. For the past few weeks the app will crash in the middle of reading or video...If I go to settings and try to send feedback the page won’t load so there’s no way to tell them about bug fixes

Gary Henry. Your app is to hard to navigate. My wife and I have spent more then 10 minutes trying to get to ABC’s index so we could pick a subject and still have not been able to figure it out. Make it easier.
