USELESS. Cozi Gold member here… last several weeks have been a frustrating mix of “messages” that tell me that I’m “offline” (I’m not), or that “another family member removed the list” (they didn’t) and I’m actually beginning to be suspicious about the app. Customer support has been polite but all he tells me is to delete app and then reinstall, shut down phone, etc. All the things a middle schooler would try. He tells me that they are not able to recreate my problem, which they would need to be able to do in order to solve it. I’m no app developer, but I’m thinking somebody had to program in those messages I’m getting and determine when to show them. Something is fishy since what the error messages are telling me are not reality. EVERY NOW AND THEN I can actually add something to a list only to have a message appear that I can’t add it because of one of the made up reasons and it goes away. But most of the time I can’t even log into the website to work with my lists. And if I click “forgot password” even though I didn’t forget but thought it might help something, the promised email with a reset link never comes. This is a highly rated app and we used to love it but something is going on. Maybe everyone that works there quit after someone messed it up???

Sorry to see the old version “updated”. I have had a Gold subscription to Cozi for many years. I used it nearly every day for various organizational skills. I am not sure who purchased this app and who is in charge of the changes they made this year, but they need to be fired. This new “ improved “ version is a mess. Much more difficult to use the section that accepts and stores recipes. It is cumbersome and not user friendly in so many ways. I don’t know who these new IT developers are, but they don’t get it. They must never have used the old version which was wonderful and user friendly. I tried to give this new version time to work out the kinks- that hasn’t happened. I have used this new version for several months now and I absolutely hate it. They took a perfectly good app and ruined it. The list section is still good and useful , but the recipe section is just plain awful. I am moving on. I am going somewhere else to store my recipes. Maybe they don’t want you to use the recipe section so they made it so it much more difficult to use. Who knows. Honestly, is is a shame and I used to love this app. No more.

Best calendar/organizing app I've found. I love this app! I'm a busy mom of two pre-teens who's schedules get busier and busier, and a husband with a busy work calendar. I'm also an "old dog" who doesn't like to learn new tricks so transitioning was daunting for me. What I initially loved about Cozi was the ability to create tabs for each family member so each knows where they need to be and where others are. I also loved that I had an experience where I missed a "search" feature in the Calendar where you could search for the last time you went to the dermatologist, or changed the a/c filters, etc. Sent the feedback to Cozi and within a couple months saw that feature added in an update. Now my calendar works better than my previous calendar! Another review remarked she had trouble moving items in a list. If I understand her complaint accurately, you should be able to do that by "dragging and dropping" the item up or down. I organize my grocery list (after writing it freestyle) then organize in the order my grocery store stocks them. Same with errands. I write them freestyle, then sort into the order I want to run them. I'm always excited for updates to see what new features have been added. (Please note I am a Gold member and it's worth it to me for the upgrade!)

Still love it after 4+ years of use. We started using the Cozi when our two oldest kids were in high school. Two varsity athletes and athletic club participants, a child in elementary school, and two parents who travel for work made for a daunting job of keeping track of all the commitments. Our bigs are now in college, youngest is just about to enter middle school and we both still travel for work. This app is perfect for any family with a ton of balls to juggle. Everyone (including the pets) are part of our group. We can keep track of every aspect we need to know for scheduling appointments, work trips, meals...literally everything. Before my husband or I agree to a meeting out of town, we can make sure no conflicts exist with our youngest child (someone is always home for her.) The notifications help keep everyone up to date on the latest changes immediately. Meal planning is simple as we can decide what kinds of meals will work best on any given day ( both of us out all day, crockpot meal; after school lessons, something quick ; just two for dinner, portion adjustment) Plus, having the meal plan allows whoever is home first to get dinner started since the recipe is also available in the app. Running to the store? Grocery list of needed items is available to confirm we have everything we need. Anything we do is in the Cozi, it is a great tool. It keeps us on track and running smoothly.

Used Cozi for years! Needs Siri & Apple Watch capability. First off - I would like to say that Cozi has been my #1 productivity app for at least 7 years, if not longer. I use it Every Day & I feel like I have my entire life on there. I would like to request to the developers to update it for 1) Siri capability (Hey Siri, add milk to my Cozi Grocery list; Hey Siri, add Pick John up at 5pm to my Cozi calendar) and 2) Apple Watch comparability. Lastly, and this is just a pipe dream of mine: it would be great to be able to use digital stickers & embellishments to be able to decorate my journal, calendar, lists, etc. there is not a fully functional planner app out there that you can decorate/embellish. You would be cornering the market! I will be continuing to use Cozi - it is still the best app I have found (and I look yearly - mostly for the reasons I have added above). I’m sure I will be using Cozi for years to come - Thank you for keeping me organized!!!(

Invaluable!. When life got really hectic for our family of 5 between parent work & travel schedules, kids activities, volunteering and extended family commitments a few years ago I asked my “has-it-all-together” family members how they keep it all straight. Many recommended this app plus a regular weekly check in to review the week ahead for scheduling conflicts and items requiring prep work. As my kids got their own devices they input and update their own schedules so we’re all on the same page and I no longer accidentally book one kid at the doctor and another at the orthodontist at the same time I need to pick up the third from practice. It works so well for us that my teenagers are now the ones recommending Cozi to their friends who forgot an important deadline or whose parents didn’t remember they needed a ride somewhere.

Don’t buy Gold; terrible design. I made the $30 mistake of purchasing Gold, primarily so that I could access the 1-month calendar view. I didn’t realize- because you cannot preview the full calendar view without paying $30- that Cozi has decided to format their calendar exactly opposite to any other calendar I have ever used. On each day’s rectangle, the day’s events are formatted to the very top, while the numerical date is formatted to the bottom. Maybe the malfunction is specific to my brain and not the app, but I was absolutely confused as to which week the calendar items were associated with. I contacted Cozi support and they let me know that while they were more than happy to TAKE my money, they were sorry to report that they have absolutely no mechanism to give it back. They pointed me to Apple Support, which summarily rejected my request for a refund without even allowing a human being to read what I had typed into their text box. So, buyer beware. You’ll have to shell out $30 to discover the mystery of whether or not Cozi’s absolutely unintuitive design and interface confuses you as much as it did me.

Used to love. I have used this app with the paid gold subscription for many years and used to love it. I’ve even told many people about it and gotten them to use it for their family organization. The new updated web version is awful though. It’s les intuitive and doesn’t flow as easily. One of the best features was the meal planning section. It was so easy to use and I could see all the meals planned in one spot. I could enter a link to a recipe, or add sides like “steamed broccoli” for those items that don’t need a recipe and everyone on the calendar would know what’s for dinner and what to cook if they were the first to get to it. Now with the update to the web version I have to have add an actual recipe for everything and I have to organize it through the calendar instead of a separate, easy to organize and see section just for meals. This app no longer suits my needs and I will be switching to a different app that allows for me to plan meals in a way that is intuitive and makes sense. Basically I need to find the old version of Cozi. How disappointing.

Some pluses, some drawbacks. I appreciate that there is an ability to create calendar, grocery and to do list, however the app would be much more helpful if you could set times /dates with optional reminders for items to be completed on the to-do list. And there should be the option to have daily, weekly, monthly, etc. reminder for tasks if desired. Not everyone is using this for family, some are using this for work so that would be helpful for when you have a bunch of to-do tasks that need to be done by a certain time but don’t necessarily qualify as events. That way you don’t have to clog up the calendar with tasks that will be completed throughout the day, and tasks can easily be separated by team member, so that each team member can just focus on their list of tasks and deadlines. Also, please make it possible/easier to nest tasks under a task heading, with a clear separation from the rest of the tasks. Considering the fact that after downloading, this app immediately lets you know that it can link with Google calendar and outlook, it would really make much more sense for the app to have these additional capabilities as well. I think this could become a game changing app with those features added. Update: please allow personal, private calendars as well, with the option of sharing parts of the calendar with other members odd the user sees fit.

Worth it!. Our family used the free version of Cozi for a few months before we upgraded. We don’t typically purchase apps and keep a pretty strict budget but Cozi has been worth every penny! With 5 kids and a business, we rely on this app to keep things in order. One of my favorite features is the shared lists. My kids can see their chore lists and my hubby can see our grocery list if he’s out running errands. I also love being able to add things to the calendar far in advance and using our calendar to let everyone know what’s for dinner and getting our meal plan together. We haven’t tried any of Cozi’s recipes but I like being able to add recipes from other sites. This app is everything we need and has been worth every single penny. The best part about the upgrade is that it’s a one-time payment and not a subscription. So I paid a few bucks once and now we have access to everything. We love love love this app! Highly recommended!!!!

Cozi is a lifesaver. Cozi keeps our family organized! Cozi makes it easy to make plans without ever having a conflict. I know the calendar is updated so I don’t ever have to confirm my spouses plans before making my own (it’s been a game changer in our relationship). One of the best features IMO are reminders… as a working mom, these are incredibly helpful in making sure I’m always in the right place at the right time. Reminders also help me manage a hybrid work environment… I’m busy, so without them I know I would forget something and inevitably end up being late to an appointment. The list feature is great for keeping the whole family on task and keeping our home running smoothly. I also find the recipe manager super helpful in reducing paper clutter and recipe books around my home! Thank you Cozi for helping make the calendar and division of labor in our home equitable and easy to access!!!

OK but.... I use an iPhone... I have it set to receive notifications, the only notifications I get or the 4 other people using is an email, no pop up notifications. Tried everything I can think of, so has everyone else using. Followed all steps to link Apple calendar to Cozi and visa versa. Many times. Zero success. My son plays baseball and the coach uses Team Snap for all practices, games etc, it took me less than a minute to link that to the Apple calendar. I look online and see reviews complaining of same issue from 2014, why 6 years later is it no better? Update I’ve had a prompt and comprehensive reply to my issues with Cozi. Their tech support, Marian, did a through and complete study of my and my family settings. Deleting and reloading app seemed to to the trick for my notifications issue, go figure. The linking of calendars seems to be an Apple issue. Thank you for taking the time to study my issues.....great tech support!

Divorce Arguments down 95%. My ex-wife brought Cozi to my attention years ago (2009?). For and handful of years we consistently bickered and quarreled over one or the other not remembering or not thinking the other person remembered things she or I planned into the kids' schedules. With Cozi, 95% of our reasons to have weekly (or daily) flare ups were eliminated. Having one master calendar source (with reminders) to refer to just made daily life smoother for all of us (most especially our children who stopped seeing their parents bicker over little things so frequently in the past. As a guy, who can remember 3 things told to me in a rapid verbal laundry list of "To Dos" before I simply don't retain any additional info (but who is indeed a will do...follow-through and dependable person), Cozi has been invaluable. Thanks for being largely responsible for 8+ years of much smoother sailing through the daily realities of divorce with children Cozi!

Mostly satisfied. The good: It successfully fulfills the purpose of having a ‘family management app’ and it’s nice that it has the ability to notify family members of events with multiple reminders. I LOVE the recipe tab and like that it is easy to transfer those ingredients to the shopping cart. I appreciate that my husband and I can keep track of what’s going on and what’s needed all in one place. The bad: not entirely super user friendly, in that it’s easy to do things but not as easy to undo them. Like when you transfer the ingredients to the shopping cart, you have to individually delete each item as needed rather than selecting multiple (at least on the mobile app, it sure how that part is on the desktop). You can’t just select an entire recipe and delete if you accidentally add it twice. Also, I putting a ton of appointments was way easier on a desktop (at initial startup) than on the phone, but adding individual events is fine. Lastly, I added my kids as family members only to keep my husband and I in the loop of who is where, and it’s frustrating to have to uncheck their names in the “notify” section because they don’t have their own emails so I was getting five “notifications” since it was mine plus 4 of them until I started removing them. It could be a little smoother in that aspect. Overall though, the price is good for what you get (I NEVER pay for apps, but was willing to for this one!!) it’s been a life saver but could use some improvements.

Cozi Gold is the way to go. Pay for Cozi Gold - you want ALL it’s features. It’s a 5⭐️ app. Great for organizing the family. Love that it’s color coded by Family member. You can select 1 member individually or all to see what’s on their schedule. Easy to input things in the calendar. Love the To-do list feature- I use it for myself, the hubs and kids. Recipe box is GREAT! I LOVE that everyone can see what’s on the menu each day /breakfast/lunch/dinner & I can create a grocery list from that menu /recipe from a click of a button! We also have ALL our birthdays saved for EVERYONE in our family tree so no birthday is forgotten! I tell my family “If it’s not in the calendar, it doesn’t exist!” We are a family of 5 & it keeps everyone in the know and organized. I wish they’d bring back the pictures section of the app! That was cool but it’s not an option anymore.. that’s how LONG I’ve used this app! 5 stars! I had a glitch that my iPhone would say I was offline; but after reading into it; it could’ve been due to the iPhone iOS 16 update. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and soo far soo good. I was very frustrated when all its features weren’t working as they should- especially since I’ve purchased the Cozi Gold.

Mostly great app; trouble after recent update. I generally like using this app, yet have had tech problems since the latest update. It could simply be the combination of the app update and my phone software version, which needs an update. Anyway, my tech problem with the app is that I go to make a change in a calendar entry, try to save it; nothing happens. So, I just close out of the app. Going back into it only takes me to the same screen where I tried to save changes. Then I close it again, turn my phone off, wait a minute or two, turn it back on and go into the app. That’s when I see my changes have been applied and the only way and I have to repeat these steps one calendar entry at a time. If I have to change 10 different calendar entries, this causes me to turn my phone off and back on 10 times. I just don’t know if it’s a matter of my overall phone software version or the app, but this problem has been happening for a few days now.

OMG! Organizers heaven!. I saw an ad for this on Facebook and I thought it might help organize my families activities and such. OMG! I have used this every day since I downloaded it, it is so useful. It notifies every family member every time you add something to the agenda, everyone can see grocery lists, you can search for recipes or so easily just add all your favorite recipes from the web - just copy and paste the web address. It allows you to plan your meals out by simply clicking on a recipe and adding it to your calendar and then adding the recipes to your shopping list so you are sure to have everything. I simply search Pinterest for recipes I want to try and add them to the family recipe file. It has a button to keep your phone from turning off while you are in recipe mode. I mean, come on! This makes me look Martha effing stewert! And I’m sorry but all this organizational help and a subscription that amounts to about 2.50 a month? What could you possibly not love about this?

Good stuff!. My husband and I have been using this calendar and list app to help simplify plans and communication. It’s great! This is a success because we used to constantly ask the other “What’s our plan tomorrow?” and similar questions. Now that’s more rare (it was all day, every day). The grocery and to do lists are also helpful. I especially Love the combo of the calendar and the lists all in one app. I usually need one thing to create the other, so the duality of the app functions work for me. There’s also an option to choose recipes within the app and have the food items needed loaded into a shopping list. Excellent add on that’s free! —The recommendation I have to the developer is to include healthy recipes that focus on clean eating. —Another recommendation is to create the ability to hide appointments and lists. For example, I need to use my iPhone calendar app to keep track of things throughout my day. Maybe it’s remembering to eat a snack, take a vitamin, or make a dr appointment. Regardless, it’s for me and not my husband. If only the administrator on the account could have that option then that’s fine, but ideally all users might need the option to keep things private. That would eliminate my need the to log my personal items and tasks in two places. Every. Single. Day. :) And it would make this my favorite organizational type app to date.

Cozy is AWESOME. I downloaded the Cozy app for the summer so that I could keep my children's calendar organized for myself and our summer babysitter. I actually had the babysitter input all the different activities lessons and outings so that she would have firsthand knowledge and be more in tune with their schedule, which is crazy! It's been wonderful to be able to see what everyone has going on at a glance. It's also been nice for my husband who will ask me what's going on today and I can just refer him to the calendar. Our babysitter does some tutoring on the side so she was able to plug in her tutoring hours well in advance so that I could make sure we had a plan on the times we would be without her. The reminders are also very helpful. I told my children it was their responsibility to be up and ready for all activities so that the sitter could literally just pulled in the driveway and they would be ready and amazingly it has worked! I've even plugged in a few of my business meetings into the Cozi calendar as a second reminder for myself as I have so much happening between home and work. I haven't used a lot of the other functions yet but I'm excited to explore what else this app has to offer! Thanks for creating an app that keeps families communicating well and organized :-) Kristel Ersan Bettenforf Iowa🌽

Still dislike. I tried this app several years ago in a coparenting situation and didn’t care for it then. We ended up using a different, much more expensive, app/site and were happy for several years. I pulled this app back in this month because my husband and I need one calendar for our family. The one he wanted to use required invitations to be sent, which weren’t accepted, and events didn’t get added. I prefer paper, which cannot be shared easily on the go with three kids. I was really really happy with it for about four days. I entered a TON of events and activities and travel information. I entered grocery lists and to-dos. I loved it for what I needed. Then I gave my husband the password to log in and join me. That’s pretty much when the honeymoon ended. Day 1- my to-dos and grocery lists were deleted. Okay. No problem. Rentered it all. Day 2- every. Single. Effing. Calendar entry was DELETED. don’t know what he did. But I can almost guarantee he doesn’t either. I do know that, literally, hours of my time were wasted. So I deleted the app. There’s no way to secure the entries and protect them from deletion. It’s too risky to depend on this calendar for actual families who need this information saved.

Month Calendar View. I am currently on a trial for Gold and have been testing out other family organization apps. I love most of what Cozi has to offer and I love the simple and user friendly interface and text, however the month calendar view that I was so excited to get access too is disappointing to say the least. The layout is awful and actual distinct boxes and the date numbers on the upper left of each box would be less confusing, I would prefer color coded text and the ability to click on the day and have the events pull up underneath the calendar in a manner similar to the week view, with even the option to scroll through the subsequent days in this section as well. Also, being able to set an actual location that can be pulled up on maps would be amazing! I am still looking at other options, but I see so much potential for Cozi. I just can’t justify paying the premium for access to a calendar that is essentially unusable.

Love it but it needs “to do” list integration with the calendar. We are a three generation household plus two dogs. It’s crazy trying to keep track of all of the appointments, shopping lists and tasks. We’re really glad to have found this app to have a common reference. It would really help if we had the option to include date-related, calendar-based tasks that we could mark complete (with date completed), delete or automatically move forward (with original due date noted) if not completed or deleted. We have lots of recurring date-based tasks on the calendar that, if not completed, just hide when the date passes. The family can’t see if the task has/not been completed. The to-do list doesn’t handle this well because its not date-related nor does it recur. If this function were added, this app would get five stars. In the meantime, its great for shared calendars/shopping lists and I’ll continue my search for an app that also handles calendar-based tasks.

2+. Not bad but will raise it to 5 stars once I can bring all my calendars over to Cozi. I do like the layout and how everything is. I bought gold thinking that when I sync my google cal or Apple cal it would remind me of my events on my calendar but it does not. I’m not going into every single event I have on Cozi to change it to send me a Notification. It should have this option as a default but it does not. Yes I have it enabled in my settings to receive notifications . I have tested this in your app if you do not put to remind you which again it should be set to do this as default to remind you then it will not remind you at all and then I tested to remind me and it reminded me. No one wants to go into every single event and put send reminder. That’s why it should be set as default so it actually reminds you when you add a calendar to your app. Hopefully it’s something you add soon cause I know myself would love for every time you make an event or move calendars over it puts notifications as a default. Wish I knew it didn’t have this before buying it.

It’s just going downhill at this point.. I have used Cozi for over 5 years. I’ve recommended it to a ton of people since. It’s the best organization -per person- app I’ve ever come across. I actually initially downloaded it for the syncing grocery list between my husband and I. I loved that there were no extra hoops or Dropbox settings necessary for it to sync across devices. It just did it’s thing all on its own! I only used this app after that! When renewing this year I saw the price increased $10 and I just don’t see why. There haven’t been any noticeable changes in at least 2/3 years. Not themes, grocery item prices for a running total, no more widget choices, heck, not even added colors to choose from for each person. I was okay with $20 when I found it, but for a price increase after this long without improvements, I’m going to want to see more. It hardly gets updated, so there are a ton of bugs. It’s sad to see something with this just potential crash and burn. I’ll be finding something else before my February renewal in a couple weeks.

Still a good app; BUT…!. The most recent updates to Cozi have really screwed up the ability to delete list items! And badly!!! Now it seems the only way to delete something from a shopping list is to CHECK IT on the list, then go to a menu and select “Delete all checked”! Wonder what moron came up with this ridiculous idea! What if I actually want to retain a checked item (or several items that I purchase frequently) as reminders for my next trip? Hey Cozi guys/gals; please fix this ASAP. Update, 28-May-2021 Cozi folks contacted me over this comment and explained the cause was related to an Ad campaign that was going on at the time. They even gave me access to the paid version for the duration so this wouldn’t happen again. This was accompanied by a pledge to make certain the flaw in UI design would be addressed to prevent any further issues. Well done, Cozi! This seems to me as almost unprecedented support from a FREE App.

Works great most of the time. My whole family uses the app and our teenage son adds his groceries and Christmas wish list to it. I put his chores on it. We use the to-do lists extensively. The problem is that periodically (once a month) one of us will be adding and item either to a shopping list or to-do list, it looks like it added, then all of sudden we get a message with a list of items that cozi couldn’t add (even though it already did - temporarily at least). Not sure if this is because Cozi doesn’t allow you to enter items while you are offline and then sync up later or what the deal is. So you have to pay close attention to the message to know what to type in again. Super annoying. Also, frequently I’ll be typing and I’m part way through a word and the item just closes when I’m part way through. I’ll start typing “Milk” but only get the “M” and the “i” entered and the item closes. So I have “Mi” on my list. It does that a lot. You have to reopen the item and finish typing. Other than those two items, though, it works pretty well for our family. The updates are in near real time - I can see my husband check off items while he’s shopping. And the rest of the app is stable. It does what we need it to do for the most part.

Not what I expected. This calendar does it work well with other calendars. It doesn’t exchange with other calendars well it’s all read only. Doesn’t work with Alexa. You can’t do much as far as settings when your not on a desktop. The “month view” is not color coded. It’s the most basic view and is hard to read. This could be so great but I feel like it was a waste of money. There’s really NO REASON to buy the subscription. The free version is essentially the same since the month view is lacking in every way. That’s the only thing you get with upgrade. I will not buy again next year. Thanks for the reply. I’ve already been in contact with Cozi. They have given me the same links. The information is available it simply isn’t helpful. It does nothing with Alexa except lists which, for all the “works with Alexa” excitement I found, is really misleading. It should say “only works with lists in Alexa” I expect a more IFTTT approach with a family calendar. I expected to pay the premium and have lots of extras. Instead, I paid and found out it’s useless with Alexa and it’s exactly the same as I was for free. I’ll know better next year. It’s unfortunate because it COULD be a really valuable tool if it did more. And add some vegetarian and vegan recipes please. The one thing I can say, is you have great people working for you. They genuinely want to help. They are all very courteous and kind.

Great App… when I remember to use it. This app is great for time management, sorting appointments for all family members and reminding them, pushing the appointments to the calendars they use on their phones, etc. I subscribe because for the fee, it’s worth it in my opinion. The only issue is, as someone with ADHD, once it’s out of sight, it’s out of mind. I have it on my phone’s initial page, but that’s not quite enough. What this app needs is a widget for iPhone users. I’d love to be able to see the calendar, add events, look at lists, etc as soon as I open my phone. Having to open the app to see the calendar is one of those things that seems small and simple, but for people with ADHD, it’s just another step that gets in the way. I fully believe that with a widget, the app would be much more useful. For now, I just use the phone’s native calendar app since it has a widget. If I remember to use Cozi to plan events, it pushes the event to my native calendar app so I can see them upon opening my phone. Other than that little thing, I do love the app. Edit: Cozi, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make an iPhone widget. I need a dashboard at the front of my phone. I could see myself using Cozi as my primary family management hub if you could just make a widget!

Year 4 and still our preferred Organizer. We’ve used Cozi now for over 4 years, and love it. As a primary Mac household, with our work computers and programs being Microsoft based, as well as having 2 active children, 1 sister, and 1 mother who are in the same household to coordinate life and it handles it all, I cannot express how amazing this program is. We’ve tried so many free and bought things over the years and this is the only one that has stood the test of time. Yes, some things have changed that we’ve utilized and now miss over the years. Such as multiple recipe boxes we can make, specific school and sport schedules, and separate meal calendars, so we can make customized routines for individual children. But it even without these amazing features of the program, it is still the best program we have found that works for us.

Perfect app for adult ADHDers!!!. As an adult with ADHD, this has been a Godsend app! I am a Gold member/subscriber and the fee has been ABSOLUTELY beneficial and WAY WORTH THE INVESTMENT. This is my second year using/utilizing the Cozi Gold app. I plan to continue and refer to many family, friends and colleagues. This app is extremely user friendly and has truly been a blessed for me in keeping organized and orderly tasks; appointments, to do list and has overall simplified my “overwhelming ability to stay focused, organized and daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities and tasks! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP AND HAVE DONE SO TO MANY FRIENDS, FAMILY & COLLEAGUES! Thanks a million for helping me to stay focused, on time and improving my ability to overcome mishaps, missed appoints, detailed to do/ tasks lists that has been a tremendous app in keeping me on track with ability to complete what once caused unnecessary chaos, stress and anxiety in my daily routines. The gold subscription has been worth EVERY penny and more! Sincerely, Queen ADHD P.S. I highly recommend anyone (moms, busy professionals, etc.) to give this top rated app!

Not as good as I thought it was. When I found this calendar I was so excited. We have a really busy family and lots of moving parts. I was so happy I wouldn't have to send emails and texts as reminders anymore or field the when and where questions. It was all at our fingertips. Until I had to get a new phone. My old phone died. I got a new one and as is the usual I needed to sign back into the app. Only I can't sign back in. At all. I thought I had forgotten my password, but nope, my email address isn't recognized. I emailed customer service where I get an auto generated response telling me it will be at least 3 days before they will get back to me. If I am paying for the app (which Im not) it will be sooner. So after waiting 3 days I receive an email suggesting that I may have typed in the wrong email address or spelled it incorrectly. This is as if I'm bot intelligent enough to think of that on my own that I had to wait three days for someone to point it out. So I responded to the email letting them know what I tried and guess what...they will get back to me in 3-5 days. I will no longer be using this app. If I have to start a new account I would rather go to an app that cares about their customers and that realizes how important a family calendar is. So incredibly disappointed in this app and their level of customer service.

Loving it so far - after a few changes would be irreplaceable!. I love this app for calendar sharing! I can notify my husband of changes and I can enter data from the computer - much easier for me!! I love that I can send notifications to him and he uses our COZI calendar as his calendar too. We don't have to "push" appointments to and from each other. If I update it on COZI, he sees it. I also love that I can instantaneously update the grocery list and he sees it (in case I remember something while he is shopping). I only gave it 4 stars because I would love to be able to copy an appointment! If I have an event with a couple of possible dates now I have to enter all the data twice, or enter a hair appointment - same info as last time just a new date. I would also love to be able to sync with contacts so I don't have to look up an address for the location. Another great add would be syncing with my iPhone calendar in case I like to use both. Still LOVE the app though :).

Great Family Calendar! The Lists Need Some Work.... We are a blended family of 6, with split custody we share with 3 other parents. Plus the kids are in school and are in activities. First we tried a simple calendar on our kitchen wall, which is great for our 5 year old and if you want a giant visual monthly overview. But...we are always on the move and schedules change fast. This app has been a lifesaver! We even have the option for our kids’ other parents to join, once our relationship is at that level. And I can access it at work on my computer where I can’t have my cell phone! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the Lists. We need a satisfying “ding” after a job complete when we check the box. We make an audible noise ourselves and it’s just not the same. The ding makes the day! Also, it would be great if in list items, when you click one item, you could add subtasks and notes and things. That way a recipe could be listed, and then the ingredients could be within it. Or a task could have a person assigned and an explanation. We still use lists because we are set on using one app, but it’s not the best. Maybe you could partner with Wunderlist? They have it down! Thanks so much!

What a fabulous app!. I’ve asked my teenage daughter for months to look into a calendar app for the two of us. Between scheduling appointments (for her, me, the dog, the car, etc!) social activities, random babysitting jobs for her and deadlines for me, it’s been a major challenge to stay organized. I’ve always used a personal calendar/planner, but that isn’t my daughter’s style, and the big wall or kitchen counter family calendar attempt was a complete fail. Enter COZI!!!! My daughter suggested it three days ago, and we’re hooked!! So easy to enter our own commitments, designate which one (or both!) of us is involved, log in events that repeat going forward, etc. And the ability to keep a grocery/drugstore list without forgetting to write an item down on paper or pick it up from the store?!?! Huge bonus!! Edits are simple, and the beautiful layouts and pleasing color combinations are wonderful too! Have not tried any features beyond the calendar and lists, and haven’t tried to print out a copy, but so far, so GREAT! Wish we had discovered this app earlier.....would have made scheduling and communicating changes throughout high school less stressful for both of us. It’ll make these weeks before my daughter heads to college SO much easier to navigate! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Great for organization of the family. My husband is always asking me, “do we have anything planned for next weekend!?” -after I have told him our plans almost daily for the last month- NOW i can say “check the cozi!!” My husband is a Samsung lover, and I’m an apple advocate, so this helps join our lives easily. I also like the joined lists. My husband has a cleaning and to do list, and so do I. I like this because we know exactly what needs to be done, and it holds us accountable. This app would get 10 stars if it had a pantry list, so when I’m at the store, I can also look to see what’s in my pantry and replenish if need be. I’ve tried other pantry apps, but the importance of having an app that shares this list would be HUGE. That way if my husband eats all the peanut butter, he could check it off, and that could get added to the shopping list automatically. Developers?!? I am currently using the free cozi, but if this was an option, and it ACTUALLY worked (a lot of the pantry apps Ive tried are crap) I would definitely pay!

Ok for basic stuff. I found this app looking for something to help with meal planning and was glad to see it had calendar features too. Unfortunately the recipe suggestions and categories are useless if you're looking for vegetarian recipes -- and the idea of being able to search just for dairy free (or vegan) options is a joke. I tried to search for "vegetarian" and got zero results even though I'd already saved one recipe that claimed to be a veggie twist on a traditional meal... so maybe the recipes are there, they just don't make them easy to find. Lots of meat recipes though, if that's your thing. But here's the real problem: I like a lot of the features, but was disappointed that some things I'd like to be able to do require annual membership payments. I'd be willing to just pay a flat fee for the app, but considering how much they're asking for monthly or yearly memberships they'd probably ask a ridiculous amount for a one-time purchase to unlock all features. My main issue with paying monthly to unlock features is that there are only SOME that I want to use. It's expensive to pay the subscription anyway, but when you only want one or two features...? Forget it. Maybe they could make cheaper, flat-rate purchase packs that unlock only certain things? I dunno, it seems crazy expensive to me for what it is and what I'd use it for. I'd rather just stick with google calendar and a free app or two to fill in the blanks (like to do and shopping lists).

Crashes, puts things on wrong day. I rely on my free version of Cozi a lot but when I try to update my calendar on my iPhone it has a years-long history of crashing and losing all my updates - I get a msg that somebody just made changes so my changes were lost or something like that - and every time I get this message I was the person who just made the changes (my husband never logs on). It also does not always place items on the date I selected when I opened the calendar post screen - I have to go back and search the calendar for the mistaken entry, or just place the item again in the right place & know there is a duplicate out there somewhere. When I have time to dedicate, I plan to transfer to a different app. I currently don’t have the extra funds to go back to the paid version, but when I paid for it, the same things were happening. I have reloaded and changed my password several times to no avail. Not reliable enough for 5 stars, but was a helpful app before all the crashing, etc.

PLEASE UPDATE. I found this app in a parent magazine and I do Not love it but i do like it.. One of the problems that I have is that I usually set two reminders for the appointments on my calendar and I usually don’t get the reminders I went to my settings in my phone to allow notifications and I still really don’t get them. One of the features that I love is the shopping my fiancé is not good at remembering things so when he does shopping it’s easy for me to add stuff to my grocery list and make it convenient with him keeping up with items that we need for the household. Things that I think would be great is if it was an option to do cell phone notifications which will be helpful as well. Admin options will be good as well especially when you have teenagers so it does not give them the ability to be able to delete things and you can control what they have access to. The last thing I have an issue with is the fact that I do not see the option to contact you guys and I feel like that’s kind of unfair especially due to the fact that I spent money on your app and I can’t even communicate with the staff members from this app Especially if i do become unsatisfied with the app how would i go about getting a refund.

Great with an annoying flaw. My family has used this app for awhile and likes it overall. However I am sick of the fact the app is set up in a way where your lists pop up, then after a delay of a second or so what is on the page shifts so that an advertisement link is in the place where your list used to be. Too many times I hit an ad link instead of my list because of this last minute “page layout switch.” This does NOT happen on other apps and I have a very nice iPhone so this an app feature that I have had enough of. After being tricked into clicking an ad too many times today I am considering finding a better app. I have no doubt this is done deliberately to give the appearance of an inflated number of ad clicks but it is stupid and useless. If I do not want to see an ad and did not deliberately click it then it quickly gets closed out quickly anyway, but I am tired of dealing with thus irritation for the appearance of extra ad clicks. There is no excuse for this. Unfortunate.

Convenient. Pros: Calendar helps keep you & your kids on the same page with events, activities, appointments, due dates, etc. by facilitating ease of communication & a visual reminder. Shopping lists also allow all users to add & remove items, making shopping trips more productive. Cons: Annoying ads everywhere with basic (free) version; some features only available with Gold (paid) version. When I added "laundry detergent" to my shopping list, Cozi "suggested" its ad brand and embedded the ad into my list. Yuck. Also, Calendar view isn't visually appealing/easy to look at. SUGGESTIONS/REQUESTS: It would be SO much more convenient if the Grocery List had SECTIONS (e.g., Produce, Frozen, Deli, etc.) for items - it would really expedite the actual shopping process (no more backtracking 5 aisles to get that peanut butter you skipped!). It would also be cool if the Lists could identify or track those items you buy on almost every trip to the store, and suggest said items each time a new list is started.

Best calendar app EVER. My husband and I were looking for a good shared calendar to keep track of allllll the things. We found this and gave it a try. We upgraded to gold after we were using it for a bit and saw the value in the gold membership. The “lists” portion of the app is absolutely incredible. We plan our out meals for the week and I just found that they have some preselected recipes so I was scrolling those and decided to give one a try. You can add all of the ingredients to your grocery list with one click (and just as easily delete the ingredients you don’t need to pick up for it). I thought that was so cool. But then I found something even COOLER! I was searching recipes online and I went to share one to my email so I could print it and I found that I can share it to the cozi app and it will create the recipe there for you so all you have to do is click a button and all the ingredients will go to your list again. And that’s just ONE feature of this app. Definitely worth it. We love it.

Was once a great app. This used to be my go to family organizer. I’ve been using this app since it’s inception. The main reason I use it is to I collect recipes and make grocery list from recipes. This used to be very simple. You could upload recipes from websites, or create your own. It also allows you to make custom recipe boxes/collections and keep specific recipes tagged and in these collections. I tagged hundreds of recipes with multiple tags over the years making it easy to search for a specific recipe. I can no longer search by tag and/or if you can, the user interface is so bad that I cannot find that feature. That’s just one of MANY issues and glitches that I’ve encountered when they updated the site. Sometime last year they updated their website and it completely destroyed the user experience and some of the most useful features of the site. The website not only looks terrible now, it functions very poorly. Creating recipes, sharing recipes, and adding them to lists is a chore. I’m going to slowly transition to FamilyWall a similar app, but unfortunately they don’t have a desktop version. I’m sorely disappointed! Why would you ruin something so good!?

Great simple app for keeping family schedules. We needed an app that the less technical people in the family could use. This app does just what it should- make it easy for us to see upcoming events. (Please note I have the Gold subscription and I think that is worth the money- some of these only work with the paid version.) It allows you to pick users for a specific event but defaults to everyone. It lacks a lot of bells and whistles, but in this case that is an advantage. Search works well and is very useful when looking for a specific appointment. I like the recipe app to type in new recipes (suggest you use a computer for that). The lists are basic but useful and shared. Calendar imports work fine (my Google and TripIt calendars come in, but of course can’t be edited in Cozi, so default to all users; I would like a way to fix that!). I use it all the time on my computer, where input is easier, but my wife only does it on her phone. What would I like to see? The ability to set default reminders rather than have to set for each event. I would also like to be able to set users for imported calendar events. Support, at least for the Gold version, is timely and helpful. In total, if you want something simple and reliable, this works well.

Nice for families but.... UPDATE: with all of the free apps available these days, this one is outrageously expensive annually for the gold membership benefits. I researched for months before getting this calendar. I’m a grandmother who babysits for multiple families. It’s very hard scheduling between us all over the phone and we needed a place where we could put our schedules that we could merge together and see who is available when. This one works very nicely even as the free version. But for our needs we upgraded to the paid version which I think is too expensive. The only problem I have with this app other than the high annual cost, is I find it very difficult to distinguish between the months , weeks and days. I think there needs to be a higher contrast visually as you scroll through. Sometimes I put my things in the wrong box because distinguishing between them is not that easy. The location of the date in the box is sometimes a little confusing. I just think there needs to be a better visual display separating the months, weeks and days. Especially for anybody with low vision but even for those with good vision. Otherwise it’s a nice app in the paid version offers many useful features.

Highly recommend for busy families!. I highly recommend this app for anyone, but especially for busy families! We are a family if 4, which includes 2 adults, a teenager and a tween. All of which have super busy schedules. What we love the most is that we only get notified if something affecting the included family member gets scheduled. For instance if we plan a dinner with grandparents and all should be there, all will get notified or if said dinner gets canceled and deleted, all get notified. However, if my son (age 19) schedules a dentist app it’s just in the schedule, no notifications will be sent to the rest of us. With that said, we can all still access the calendar and see the schedules of each other, which makes planning group activities better. This app is fantastic! It has greatly reduced scheduling overlaps within our family. Even reducing difficulty within the family, like needing to schedule something but not being able to reach others to get it coordinated. The only thing that disappoints me with the app is that you have to pay for the subscription to be able to search for an appointment. I’d love to use that feature but just don’t feel like it’s worth the additional cost.

Gold scam alert!!. I have asked for help now for over six months!! 2 years ago all was well in the family plan I thought it would be a neat gift for the family so I added the gold and my account was charged for several years. My family and myself never got access as it was only placed on my email and not the family!! Once I realized this I was eliminated from the family plan and now almost a year of email cannot get back to see the family plan. This with covid and 2 daughter graduating from high school has made COZI useless to me and not worth the money for gold or aggravation. I would highly not recommend this software as they scam you into going Gold then lock you out of the account and the only support is through email and very slow! I am not the only one that has experienced this as their frequently asked questions states if this occurs get in touch with customer service! I would highly advise seeking better business bureau help and or cancelling your card as they do not respond in a timely manner! The message I got was they see my plan and that I have paid for the service but they never attached it to the family plan and it has never worked!! Beware of the scam!!

It’s awesome except for a couple small things. I really like this app for organizing and sharing a calendar between multiple people. We have 6 kids so they are everywhere, I especially like the feature where they can add something to the calendar and we all see it. My only complaint is the addresses; When adding an address to an event in the iphones basic calendar it pops up so you don’t have to type the whole thing, which this app doesn’t do - it’s lazy but I don’t want to type the whole thing in, lol. I also wish I could type in the location area the name and if it’s saved in my contacts once again....it pops up and fills out automatically. Also some events happen yearly that aren’t birthday, like my friends baby who died I like calling her every year to tell her I’m there for her for example. Events that happen weekly like various sports or church would be nice to have an icon like the birthday icon next to it. I’m trying the Gold for a year to see how I like it, but so far so good for the most part!! My notes would make things easier to handle or just thoughts.

Outdated & Needs a refresh. Have you noticed that the reviews raving about this app are from many years ago? I used to rave about this app too - when it was new, and there wasn’t really anything else out there like it. I paid for the subscription for years and recommended it to all my busy mom friends. Fast forward to now - there are other, fresher, more modern ways to accomplish the same tasks but Cozi still looks and feels like it did in 2015. For a while the developer was very responsive to feedback, but several years ago the app was bought by a larger company and they have clearly stopped investing in the app. They ruined the recipe features by trying to promote other brands from that company. They removed features, but haven’t added new ones in years. The UI badly needs a fresh coat of paint. When I pay for a subscription I expect that I will get value from it over time including useful updates to the app. The functionality of Cozi is fine but no longer worth my time and money.

Constant crashing!. I have used and loved and highly recommended Cozi for the past 2 years to organize our large family. But in the last month it crashes within seconds of opening nearly every time I try to use it which is many times a day. Very frustrating as our entire lives are organized by this app. I'll have to switch since this is just not workable and doesn't seem to be changing. Update- I have removed and reinstalled Cozi no less than 25 times in the last month. I've even removed other apps that I thought might be interfering, deleted many things to increase available memory, performed soft resets on my phone multiple times and taken my phone into the store to see if they had any ideas. Cozi still crashes every time I open it. It seems to be to be related to how complicated you've made it now with all the little unnecessary pop up screens and extras that seem great but really aren't needed in a basic calendar app. I wish you could go back to the basics and then just leave it alone.

Extremely helpful! 1 Improvement.. I love this app for my Husband and family. We are a very busy blended family with ever changing and packed schedules due to both parents working and taking college courses, 3 young children in school, different extra curricular activities, and a pre-K toddler. I put all work, school, class, sports, custody schedule and even bills and other due dates in the app. I have ADHD and struggle to organize, plan and remember my daily activities and this app has helped tremendously. We share our calendar with our Nanny so she always knows when she is needed. Before Cozi we often forgot to communicate our schedule. It has been an extremely helpful tool for our family. The options for repeating schedules are extremely flexible and amazing (ie. Every year on the third Wednesday of February) The One Improvement I wish they would add is a widget so I can have a larger icon with a list of our daily activities and possible reminders.

Been a lifesaver. Have used the journal option to track our elderly grand/mother’s move in with family and we have also set up family chores using tasks and calendar. We would love it if Cozi had a chat option, noted updates to the journal on the home page, and had journal updates alert notifications option or a push option for the journal.

Needs to be available on more devices to make it truely family friendly. Really liked the app! Although it desperately needs to be available on iMac and Apple Watch. Not having this feature is going to make me have to shop elsewhere. Also I wish I could delete the preloaded recipes that I won’t use and keep the one I will. Please fix and I’ll be a happy customer.

Big part of our family routine. This is a great service, it has made a family diary/lists really easy. We are always saying “put it on Cozi” now. We didn’t mind paying the yearly subscription because it has become an integral part of our family routines. The help deck it really helpful btw. I emailed a problem and they responded with a fix and checked my settings while they were at it and gave me some useful tips.

Almost exactly what I wanted.. Everything in the app is amazing. I love it. I work a 6 week rotating roster, the app would be perfect if it had a scheming function to save me having to put my roster in continuously. (The make repeat function doesn’t work to well for a 6 week rotating roster, if it was a 4 week rotating roster it’d work fine.)

Great app, you know who’s doing what each day. Love the colour coding of people, my husband and I use it for events, when my client appointments are, who is having our child which day what time etc. Very useful app, use it multiple times a day, I like the repeating events feature and where it adds up the time you are at scheduled event ( for us -daycare times)

Great family app. Easy to use and saves time when planning as you can see other family commitments. I would prefer to select who needs to be notified instead of having to unselect most of the time.

They deleted a feature. We’ve been using cozi for three years at least which means we’ve paid our subscriptions every time. The planner was good, I use the calendar and the reminders. It used to have a journal feature which I used a lot to. You could put a photo and a memo related to that photo. I was lucky to have been in the app and noticed they had a message that this feature would be removed in December last year. I had to print off all these memories (80 pages worth) and now am seeking an alternative to this app that has this feature. They replied to me saying this feature wasn’t worth then renewing when I enquired. If the company can and will do that then I don’t trust that my information is safe and that they won’t do or change something else which will be a huge inconvenience. Not a happy customer and wanted to pass on my story to others to consider before choosing this app.

Very handy app.. As a family we really like Cozi, especially for groceries. It has made our life a little simpler. I would ask for one thing to take my rating to 5 stars. When the iWatch came out Cozi automatically synced with it. It was so convenient to have my shopping list on my watch instead of having to carry my phone while pushing a trolley, keeping an eye on kids and actually collecting food. Suddenly it was no longer on my iWatch and does not seem to be an option. This option would make this app 5 Star in my book.

Remove irrelevant holidays/events. Although this is helpful for keeping our family commitments in one place, it would be good to be able to delete all the holidays/events that are irrelevant (or be able to set it by state). These clog up the diary as well as making it harder to make an entry.

Family calendar. I love being able to add to the calendar and all the family get the same notification - no more double bookings or juggling between events

Great household organiser. I have been using this app for many years and find it most useful. We host international students in three of the bedrooms of our home so I set up each room as a “family” member so that I can schedule which student (event) is booked into each room for what period of time. I can then tell if I have space in a room for the next potential student. I would like to be able to delete holidays that are not relevant to our state in Australia.

Love this app. This app is fantastic to help when you have a busy schedule and when you need to organise appointments. Knowing what is ahead in a family schedule makes life easy. It is easy to use, to add schedules, appointments and keeps everyone on track. Live it

Good but could be better. I use this app primarily to share lists for completion but once an item has been purchased it doesn’t drop to the bottom leaving only those items still to be collected. The result is with a long list that you scroll up and down looking for outstanding items. Could this be a simple fix? Otherwise it’s easy to use.

Doesn’t work with Apple Watch. I really like this app, get to manage the family calendar and job lists. There are a few glitches. If I remove something from my Apple calendar it doesn’t update in Cozi so it still shows the events and also it doesn’t work with Apple Watch which is a nightmare as I now can’t see any of my appointments. I was just about to upgrade to the full version but this has put me off! Please change this!

Great for time poor couples. Used the free trial for 2 weeks and loved it, now happy to pay the yearly subscription. My partner and I are really time poor and love the shopping list feature, family birthday calendar and ability to put all our social commitment in one spot. It saves me having to remember and coordinate all our social activities and commitments. Now I can say, “look at the calendar” and it’s up to date. One annoying feature is that I can’t delete public holidays that aren’t relevant to me. It would be great to remove this ‘clutter’ from my calendar.

Dashboard keeps disappearing. I love this app but found not only were things not turning up on other devices but the dashboard is always empty. I got so excited when I saw it all at a glance but now it’s just a blank screen. I have to go to the different sections to see anything. Shame about that as that was something that really excited me

Month view major let down. I’m extremely disappointed with the Cozi app. Especially after purchasing the paid version for the ‘month’ view which is dismal. Don’t bother with it. Cozi being a subscribed calendar doesn’t integrate well with Apple Calendar as you cannot adjust any details within the Apple Calendar side of things as it’s ’read only’. Cozi doesn’t recognise places for location. So if you have apps on Apple all working together on iPhone, watch, maps etc this all is a huge let down.

Great app, but less great in Australia. Make an option to always start weeks on a Monday Checker the monthly calendar for easier reading Dates top right in monthly view, bottom left is counterintuitive Summer planners for international summers

suggestions. I find this App very useful for our family, however i'd like to be able to create & save an event in which o could just add to certain days. Eg. Mum working 8.30-5 as a saved event in which i could just add to monday & tuesday and have all the details for that particular even automatically entered.

Love! Birthday reminders need changing.. I love this app, such a great hub for life organization. All my friends are so Impressed I remember their kids birthdays. I just wish you could select a time for the birthday reminder, please fix this!! It’s needs to be a selected for a time when convenient to message or call that person. (Eg 10am) Thanks!!

Best integrated calendar and ToDo list. My wife and I have our daughter and her 3 children on our Cozi setup. Organization of the 6 of us can be very complex, especially organising transport for the multitude of activities for each of the grandchildren. The user interface is simple, and the power of Cozi is apparent. The notification of each activity is excellent, although being able to set the time the notifications are sent would be a welcome improvement. We enjoy using Cozi and it is our Calendar of choice.

Every day staple. My family very happily use Cozi everyday. We are a very busy family of 5 living over 2 countries now and we use Cozi to keep connected and organised. The everyday hourly organiser is terrific to manage each family member and along with future planning and the ability to add lists for all our individual needs, I would be lost without it!! I have Highly recommended Cozi to any busy mum!!

Great Everyday Use- has potential. I love Cozi, I use it almost daily with my family. It’s been great at helping us keep track of where we are and what we have on that day. It would be even better if it had an Apple Watch application, seeing as I use it more than the generic Apple calendar. Sometimes it can be a little messy in the calandra views, however that doesn’t stop us from using it. Thanks Cozi:)

Cozi - I Wish it wasn’t a yearly subscription. Excellent Cozi diary. I know it can do everything I need & want, however, being a Senior Oensioner(70 years old) I cannot afford the yearly subs. If it was a once off I would subscribe immediately.

Very user friendly. I’ve only been using it for 1 day and I’m happy with it. But - in order for me to “trial” it properly I had to upgrade to gold to get the most out of it. Personally I think you should just get free access to everything for 2 weeks and then be asked to subscribe. Things that need improving: The monthly calendar view is not ideal, not set out well. Annual events need to be added into the birthday section-not ideal for anniversary dates. Someone always needs to be allocated to an event, sometimes it’s just a reminder for me and doesn’t apply to the family as such, eg, my sister going on a holiday. Sometimes I just want a reminder & I don’t want it to appear in the calendar....there are to-do lists but I can’t set a date for a reminder on it. But overall, it’s functional enough for a family of 5.

Tracking my treatment. Cozi has been instrumental in my family and friends being able to help me when and where they can with chemotherapy appointments & doctor visits & blood tests. Great little app … suggestion though that it enable a larger number for your family .., thanks Vee

Love Cozi. We have been using Cozi for more than ten years now and love it. The kids are adults now but still add in their events, appointments etc. So simple to use! Thank you, don't know what we would do without it. Recipes are great for inspiration too 😊

Pretty good. I really like being able to share the one calendar with family members, though reminders will only work on my iPhone and not on my husbands Samsung, even when it is an event that only he is going too. The ads are a nuisance but it’s way to expensive to upgrade, especially as pensioners.

Great app but needs improvement. We’ve been using Cozi for a while now & find it really helpful, but I’m hanging out for when you give us the opportunity to sort our grocery list alphabetically. It would make this app perfect for us.

App ok, Web platform bad. It’s not the greatest. Still some glitches like stuff not showing up when you enter it or showing up double in calendar and lists. Items not disappearing after deletion, etc. But my favorite feature was being able to see all calendar entries on the web platform. Then I could see my month or two in advance. The recent change and inability to see all entries at once, plus the lack of ability to scroll through month view, has massively downgraded the experience for me. Bring back month scrolling and let me see all entries. then improve the zoom-ability (vs last version where there was only see all when zoomed out and see two days when zoomed in) and I’ll be a happy camper.

Waste of time. Simple tasks like sharing and inviting calendar prompted for a shared family password where there wasn’t any option to set that up. Looking to get a monthly view with events and you have to upgrade. Developers must have been desperate to get money for having such a low threshold and not let users get comfortable with the app before pull the trigger. I would highly doubt that 4.7 stars are legit reviews…

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Cozi app for our family. My husband and I are in our second year using this app on our phones. I love that it works and connects both iPhone and Samsung’s together. The layout is amazing. We were so pleased with it we purchased the yearly option. Soooo cheap (inexpensive) for what it offers. Less than $1 a week!!! We are now organised quicker and my husband doesn’t have to call me before making plans to see what we have on and vice versa. We can just check out the app. I love the colour coding options for each family member. I really love seeing the month as a whole, I need this visual of my schedule. The “lists” are one of my favourite parts. Cozi offer so many lists you can upload straight onto your personal list area. From movies to watch as a family to school supply lists. Also the recipes are very delicious and the variety is huge. When you choose a recipe, it not only makes a shopping list for you, it also adds the recipe card directly into your daily schedule so with one click you can see the recipe in full with the method when it’s time to prepare the meal that afternoon/night. I am extremely impressed and can’t recommend this app enough. Definitely buy the full version, it’s LESS than $1 a week!!!!

Easy to use, great for all the family. I’ve been looking for a whole family calendar for awhile. My mum 76 yr old is now using cozi easily. Even my husband is using the shopping list, instead of relying on my ESP skills to get what he wants. I now dont have to tell people I need to check my calendar… it’s all in my phone! Thanks for making it easily a family sharing app.

Photos. Hi! I love this app. The only thing I think would be a great addition. Is to be able to insert a photo in the calendar notes section. When I put in a bday party for my children, it would be helpful to insert a photo of the invite. Other than that, I love this app!

Too easy. A great app that keeps all the details of our family activities and being able to share between us. Cozi 👍🏻

Lists And Calendar. The lists are really useful, you can create one for whatever. The calendar reminds me each day what is on for me and others as well. I recommend this to other families or businesses.

Was my favourite for simple / general use. I trialled a few different apps, this one thus far is my favourite for more simple applications / general use to share tasks between the same group of people.

Wouldn’t be without it!. Shift workers, teenagers and a business and everything gets put into Cozi and nothing gets missed. The upgrade is perfect for us just for the search function alone. Been using for approx 7 years.

Best app for busy family. Family of 5 with lost of moving parts, this app is the best. So user friendly. I would suggest you take the extra 20 mins to understand how to use it correctly to get the best out of it. Couldn’t run my children life without it.

Very very handy! Life saver!. After a mishap in organisation with my partner and I led to her having to take our 1yo son to a work dinner function while I played a very important game of cricket we set out to find a way to organise our schedules, we came across this app and decided to give it a go, and while only using it for less than a week it has already paid off! The ability to know where I am going to be, my partner and our son it makes it very easy to plan ahead and know what is going on. Seeing the dreaded “in app purchases” on the App Store I had doubts about what we were going to get from the free version but was pleasantly surprised to find access to about 90% of the app! We brought the paid version about 2 days into it because we knew it was going to be something we would use and having the month view of the calendar was going to make it that much easier and for the price I was more than happy to pay it! The to do lists and grocery lists just absolutely takes it to the next level, real time checklists ensure there’s no more pesky double ups grabbing things from the shops on the way home from work! With busy lives, shift working jobs, travel and young children, this app is an absolute lifesaver! 10/10 have already recommended to all friends, family and coworkers!

Ditch the paper diary. Our busy family of 5 has been using Cosi for a couple of years now as our go to family calendar. Once you try an app like this, you won’t go back to paper diaries or wall calendars.

Great for the family. My wife got me to download this app - she found it much easier to use than the calendar app that I was using. We have progressively been more and more organised. Thanks so much for providing such a great application!

Absolutely Amazing 🤩. This app is hands down the best ! It’s so easy to navigate, add and delete calendar events etc. As a full time working mum (shift work) and a FIFO hubby this has helped us keep on top of kids sporting activities and work schedules. I wish I had found this app much earlier.

Great app. Wish that checked items could be moved though. This is a great app. I use it to shop, create a weekly menu, to-do-lists, etc. Its also been handy to create annual lists so that we remember everything when we go camping or travel to Melbourne. The only thing that I would like to see added is the ability to move checked items to the bottom of the list. Usually if I check it off I’m happy to delete it. Occasionally it would be handy to have a list of everything that we completed though ... but sitting at the end of the list not in the middle of current items.

EXTREMELY PRACTICAL. Have used COZI for 12 months now. Use it for GROCERIES TO DO LIST PLACES TO GO WHEN OUT Our whole family (of 8) can use the COZI APP and log into the same account. When they use the last grocery item in the pantry or fridge, they can use COZI to add the item to my grocery list in the family account. I no longer lose or forget my ‘paper’ shopping list as it is always on my phone. The food items can be easy moved around to group them together where they are located in the supermarket. I also made grocery list of staple pantry items to check each time I go shopping. I made a separate TO DO list. When we drive to our local town I have a list on hand in COZI for all the things I need to do and places to go. Items are easily deleted when purchased or completed. So grateful for the COZI app.

Hard to fix setup error. My wife and I heard good things about this app so we both got it and got accounts then tried to link them together but found it impossible because you simply can’t. You have to delete one account first but the instructions for how to delete an account tell you to sign in on a computer (why not just on a phone internet browser if they have to make it hard?) then go to Help and search for ‘delete’ - but nothing relevant comes up (on the phone). Maybe it’s our fault for not reading the instructions properly before making an account, but it shouldn’t be so hard to fix a mistake that’s so easy to make.

Life changing. My husband and I have only been using this app for a day and it’s already making the week ahead clearer, more organised and helping us to ensure we don’t miss anything in the week ahead. We love the real time updates of to do and shopping lists (with the gold subscription). Will be recommending this to all my friends.

Best way to keep everyone organised!. This is a great app and we have been using it for a couple of years. Recently had a query and received first class customer service too. Thank you Cozi.

Thank you. Thank you for such an amazing platform that I have shown to my family and now we all use it together. This has been the communication tool I've been looking for, especially as my brother and I start to get licences and more independence.

Removing the Journal!!! 😡. I have been a user of this app for my son for the past 2 years, I and my sons mother have shared care of our child and use this app heavily for appointments and other things but the greatest feature of this app was being able to share things among the family in the journal section and being able to look back on achievements and fun times. I think this is very disappointing to see this feature being removed. I don’t think we will continue using this app once December starts and the journal feature is gone.

Quite good. I find it a very good calendar program, with everything we want. We got Gold and it’s worth while. A slightly easier interface with Google calendars would be nice.

No full month view option. I liked the app a lot but had to cancel as there is no option to see your month at a glance. I like to be able to see my whole months schedule when trying to plan and organize. Hope they improve this soon!

Notifications. I can’t make it send it the notifications for events that only involve me. I don’t have many events so it’s most often things that I don’t care about but I don’t want to turn it off because then I forget what I need to do.

So helpful for senior care. I use this to plan meals for my dad and schedule his helpers. We chose it over others because of its integration with google calendar and Alexa.

Language. It’s just available in english. We chose an another app available also in french. Ciaoo!

Best app to organize your family. I used to use the large Mothers Calendars and wouldn’t remember all the kids activities until I go home to look at it. No more! All 5 of us now are colour coded on our Cozi calendar & we can add other people like a nanny or parents who help us from time to time. What’s even more incredible is with TeamLinkt or TeamSnap we can have all their hockey schedules to download direct to Cozi so it saves time entering it all! Any calendar that has a web link can be shared with the Cozi! We then paid for Cozi gold and have all the features of having recipes, a bunch of lists like grocery lists that we add to during the week so if my husband and I are at a store can grab that checklist from the Cozi app. Family & friend bdays are on there, Xmas gift ideas are in another list. We even use a yearly reminder on the calendar to change the furnace filter, disconnect sump pumps, etc through the seasons. With 3 kids all in hockey and running a small business this app has been a game changer!

Thank you. Thank you so much Cozi!!

Could be perfect. Still required to be perfect: - ability to add attachments or hyperlinks - integration with email applications such as Spark - iOS 16 widget compatibility!

Would really like to get notifications for all members!!!. I will rate this 5 stars when there’s an update that lets you add reminder notifications for all members!! I specifically downloaded this for the ability to colour code all of the schedules but my children don’t have phones and even if they did I will still need the reminders so I can remind them!! Now if I want to get the notification I have to add myself and my husband to each task for the kids so now it’s a huge muddled mess of coloured dots. Please please please set up reminder notifications for all members to one device or at the bare minimum allow for two devices for one member so I can have notifications sent to my husband and myself without completely messing up the colour coding. I paid good money for this app and other than that one problem I love it and will continue to pay for it, please just add reminders. A family app should have the option for the parents to get all the reminders.

Family affair. As a family we have used this app for years .. we love it .. great organization and communication tool.

It’s okay. For what we use this app for its not bad. My only issue was that as soon as I had signed up I started getting inundated with spam emails which has been really annoying

Leaves something to be desired. The calendar is nice, but there are a few key features missing. - for repeat events, there is no option to repeat every other week, or the first Tuesday of the month (for example) - preview off to do lists is quite small - it would be nice to see more items without having to open the list - would like to see the to do list have the option to sync with calendar reminders - would love to see an added budget feature Things I appreciate: - the colour coded calendar - upcoming events on the home page - items checked off the to do list don’t disappear

Yes!!!. This app is perfect for a family planner because you just need a password and the whole family can see the agenda! It has worked so well for my family and we will continue to use it. Please download!!!!😜

Love what we call our Hub!. My husband is a Deacon, l’m involved with Children’s Ministry. Cosy has been a great help to stabilize our daily activities. Looking forward to 2023 with Cozy

love but needs improvement. Paid for the subscription. I love the app, I just wish in the calendar view each family members event was colour coded in a block format. It’s the only thing that reallllllly turns me off this app. The list of events is fine but I’d prefer if they were colour coded by family member.

Great site. My fiancé and I use this site in preparation for our wedding. AllI can say is that it has kept us sane!🤪

It’s good but. There are no alarm type “reminders” unless you pay

Great app!. I’ve been using this app for about 10 years and love it. It helps keep me organized for my personal needs and work tasks. Love that I can update on either my iPad or iPhone and it updates both. Super handy for my grocery list and I can put the items in the order I want.

Calendar. The ap is great to share grocery lists on an ongoing basis however the free version only allows you to put appointments on the calendar for the upcoming 30 days.

Finally. I am finally able to use an app and keep my family all organized and on time and accountable rather than paper and pen this is so much better thank you so much for developing this!!

Loving the Layout. I chose to get this app to help keep my husband and I organized with our work schedules and personal commitments. I absolutely love everything about the app itself, and the web accessibility to help add things to my calendar in a quick and efficient way. The only reason I did not give this five stars, was because there’s no widget available that I can find. I would love to have my calendar on my phone all the time, instead of having to open the app each time. Other than that, it’s a fantastic app! I did also opt to pay a subscription to have full access which has been a good decision!

Great family calendar but need Apple Watch app. Love this family calendar. I wish there was integration for Apple Watch. I’d love to be able to see my calendar in both places.

Setting event times. When entering a time for start of an event to put in calendar the clock is on a spinning dial that moves too fast. It is also too close to the bottom of the page - the page moves up instead of the dial spinning

PLEASE ALPHABETIZE LISTS. We love 90% of this app - but one thing drives us nuts. The lack of an alphabetized grocery list. With having this app for years now, I’m stunned that this isn’t a thing. The time wasted scrolling to find a product on the list drives us nuts. With all the options of “share list”, “check all”, “uncheck all”, etc - why not “Alphabetize List”?

used to be good. I've had this app for many years but after the recent update it is ridiculously difficult to move items around in the list section. i had to delete and use another app

Cozi calendar. Just helps kind out family on the same page.

Cozi. Cozi keeps me sane and organized..

Great app. Vary helpful for scheduling hockey and baseball

Amazing app!. This App is a life saver. Whole family can link to the list so I never miss anything when I go get groceries. Love it

This app is a scam. This app charges people without permission. Please don’t use this app

Great App. It is one of our most valuable apps!

I love it. It really does palp my family

Love this App! Wish it was compatible with my Apple Watch though.. I love this calendar. The gold is definitely worth it for a shared family calendar. BUT…. I really wish it was compatible with my Apple Watch. I use my watch A LOT and I can’t download this app on my watch, which means I can’t see anything on my calendar via my watch. I’m considering getting a different calendar app and going through the hassle of re-entering all events just so I can view it on my watch. 😔 please up date this app to be compatible with the watch!!!

Can’t drag since last update. I’ve had the app for years and love it. However since last update, the dragging feature doesn’t work properly. Screen refreshes to top while dragging.

Mostly good but. This app is a bit glitchy. I need to sign in often (more lately) and this takes away from its convenience. We have also noticed in the past that the days shift over by one day to show scheduled events moving over by a day. This has not been an issue for a while but this is has taken away some confidence. That said, we have used this for several years and it is still mostly pretty good.

Changed our lives. Been using this app for years now. We love it and now can’t live with out it lol. One thing, wish you could have the option of putting the items in the shopping list in alphabetical order??? I keep finding duplicates, frustrating .

Amazing app. This app makes it possible to manage hectic schedules, meal prep, grocery lists, packing lists and more. It’s capabilities to allow users the option of looking at their own agenda, theirs plus another user, or the whole family together is everything we needed. We utilize shopping lists and the calendar daily. This app also is accessible on Cozi.com so it can be utilized from your desktop or laptop. Really useful, the gold version is worth it for our family, and I can’t imagine living without it.

No watch app or widget. I don’t know how this is one of the popular apps when they don’t even have watch or widget support. So inconvenient and wouldn’t take much from the developer. Apps with 100 downloads has more features than this app. Disappointing

Cozi. I love my Cozi calendar! I have been using it for years and it by far the best calendar app out there, even if you are a shift worker! It has kept my family and I organized. Great communication tool for families.

AMAZING!. The best app on my phone, saves me so much time and i have all i need for grocery shopping and meal planning in the same place for FREE !! Can’t ask for more . Thank you for this awesome organizing tool .

Slow to load but good app when it works!. Slow to load, needs to be updated more frequently. Our family enjoys & utilizes the app frequently to integrate our schedules.

Cozi app. This app is great. It’s so easy to organize your schedules and I really like color coding for each person. It’s so accessible for all users in the family to go and check whats coming up on the schedule, what’s on the grocery list, or to do list. I really appreciate being able to add recurring events - it makes it so easy to add in work schedules especially if you work shift work or for any recurring schedule, kids activities, even garbage day - just enter once and choose how often it repeats (every Monday, every other Thursday, every month on the first Tuesday, etc.). I’m really hoping for an update to be able to access the app on Apple Watch!

Missing the link to Alexis. This would be a 5 if we could still use the skill on Alexis to add to our lists

No more links to recipes?. They used to link to magazine recipes monthly.

Great app. This app saves a lot of communication as the selection is made for holidays by each individual and everyone else is notified

Cozy. Couldn’t live without it‼️

Ok app. The calendar is not great. There’s also no area to have information aside from a todo list and groceries. Other apps have sections for Doctor and dentist info. My wife and I are new to it so hopefully it gets easier to use.

No trial. No option of paying for a single month to try it. You hay to pay for a whole year to unlock a good number of functions. What if I end up not finding it as a good fit? As far as I could see, there’s no dark theme and the visual interface is a bit basic. I’ll look into other options

Latest version. The latest version has move some functions around and it’s harder to navigate. Extra steps now required. Too bad.😡 Also, the repeat every second week function doesn’t work. It adds the item in every day. 😡

Okay. Half works, when it decides to. Browser version barley works on a MacBook. Have to pay a hefty $ value for no ads, free version hounds you with ads otherwise.

Best Family Calendar I Could Find. We have a blended family split between several households. Cozi allows us to keep track of each person’s activities and group activities. Having the ability to see what others have planned allows less confusion and avoids confrontations due to multiple events being planned (so helpful for divorced parents!). Cozi also offers a shared grocery list and shopping list option for members. This is such a convenient way for each person to jot down what we identify as a need in the house and allow whomever is out and about to see it and grab it. The one thing missing that would improve this app, especially for divorced parents, is an expenses section. A place to track what each has spent on each kid and what it was spent on (medical, school, sports, etc...). This feature could also include the ability to set up or track a budget. (Because it doesn’t truly do it all, I gave it 4 stars) What if Cozi partnered with a national retailer like Target and allowed those grocery lists to talk to each other? Like, if I made my list in Target it could be sent to Cozi or vice versa? What if Cozi partnered with a bank to support the budgeting or spending tracking? Just throwing some ideas out there, Cozi. Call me if you’re hiring!!

It’s gotten worse over the years UPDATE : Now even worse. UPDATE: Cozi could be so useful but there are so many bugs now that make it very difficult to use. It constantly locks up and my updates are lost. I've resorted to carrying a paper notepad around for my to do lists and to record changes I make to the calendar. SO VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I’ve used Cozi for several years now. I keep waiting for them to add new features and make the current ones better but the opposite has happened. Until recently it had a helpful contacts feature. My whole family could look up names and addresses right on Cozi without having to ask me every time. I used it to download addresses for my Christmas cards too. They eliminated this feature recently without even asking for input from users. They promised new features but I’m still waiting. I do like the calendar and lists features but an undo feature is desperately needed. It shouldn’t be so clunky after so many years.

Awesome For Families!. A must-have for families! This app helps us keep our family's schedule organized and everyone aware of what's happening. We have 5 people's schedules, plus the dog, my husband's work travel schedule, a home business ... lots going on. This app keeps us going! I LOVE the shared shopping list feature in Cozi Gold! All the users can add to multiple lists so that when one person is shopping, the list is just there! Birthday reminders are fantastic too! My only “wish list" items for this app are: (1) I wish it had a reminder setting for when certain bills are due; (2) I wish the items themselves could have an option for color coding based on person or category; (3) I wish the sub-categories were easier to work with. Those three features would complete it for me!

Cozi organization cannot live w/out it. I’m from a family of 4 adults 1 boy 7yr old. We hold very busy days & careers. With 2 teachers a nurse, a stay home mom & 3 pets. My husband is one of 5 Siblings & Im a one of 7 children. we are tri-lingual & all are pursuing degrees long life learners w/ demanding evening classes. Cozi holds all our appointments. All schedules, such as: play dates, bus drop off/pick ups, medical, apps., classes with demanding deadlines, family important events, veterinarian appointments, and our social lives. Cozi makes it easier to view our daily & longterm activities, at a glance so we can adjust dinner times, & driving schedules accordingly. When unexpected emergencies such as usual every day car problems or/and human nature weather conflicts arise just having cozi as assistance we can see where everyones is & who can help in times of need. Before Cozi our family schedules were very chaotic & frustrating. With Cozi we are less stress & happier less unexpected surprises and more manageable time together as a family with profesional efficiency, time to plan our vacations & venture future en devours. We love & live by Cozi and often share our secrete to manage our schedules with others.

Family logistics: Done. It would be a 5 star app if the family journal could be printed into books.. Cozi is a great app to organize family logistics. It’s has all the things you need: calendar, meal planning with recipe bank, shopping lists, to do lists and the ability to share them all with relevant family members. My favorite part though is the family journal. A photo with caption collection of memories that Cozi can publish monthly to share with extended family and friends. For families like mine, who try to keep kids off social media, it’s a great way to connect with family and friends and maintain privacy. The only thing that could make the app better would be a partnership with a photobook printing company to print the journal as a physical artifact. I would upgrade to Cozi Gold if it included this feature.

TRIAL PERIOD OF COZI GOLD. My husband and I are retired and I was looking for a simplistic way to share a calendar, grocery list and to do list. I very quickly decided the ads were going to be distracting and decided to use the 14-day free trial of Cozi Gold to determine if this is the app for us. I like the ease of making multiple shopping lists (grocery store, Sam's, Walmart, etc), the ease of making individual To Do lists and the ease of adding things to the lists. What I don't like is being unable to rearrange and organize the items on each list after they are entered. For example, I add things to the grocery list as I need them, but am unable to organize the list to make it easy to shop. Also, I have a lengthy To Do list and would like the option of rearranging to prioritize my chores. I haven't moved our calendar to the Cozi app yet, but read in another review you can't repeat entries without reentering all the information. Unless there are ways I've missed to do these things, I'll be leaving Cozi. DEVELOPER: Can you help?

Cozi Gold Reminders. I have loved using Cozi for many years and have paid the amount necessary for Cozi Gold for the added benefits year after year with much success. Unfortunately, this past year I have been disappointed with the way the reminders have not been working properly. My husband’s notifications can’t seem to work properly and it doesn’t seem like it will be corrected. He will be reminded about birthdays, which I also receive, but he isn’t signed up for. Then when he has a doctor’s appointment, he gets nothing when I have put in three reminders for him. I am hoping this review gets read and resolved by someone who can really fix the issue, because otherwise, I really love the app. I just shouldn’t be paying money for service that I’m not receiving.

Love the app, but one thing is missing. Love a lot of features in this app: I can sort the events by a user, all the lists, the color coordinated events in a week view etc. what’s missing for me is the colored events in he month view, that match the user color. And the month view has a bit odd dates-it’s visually challenging to see if the box belongs the number above or below. So maybe thinks lines would help to separate the weeks from each other that way it will be to see which date goes with which box. And month view is the reason why I’ve paid for Cozi Gold, but it’s very disappointing for the lack of color per each event. I think if each event would have a background color that corresponds to each user, then this app is golden.

Free is good enough. I love what Cozi has brought to our family. We can easily update and keep track of all the activities and birthdays and grocery list shopping on the fly. It also easily accommodates scheduling my wonky work schedule. The only thing keeping it from being a 5-star for me is the subscription based model. I would pay a huge lump sum for this App if it was one and done. But I hate subscribption models with a passion. Especially since there is literally nothing that the paid version gives that you can’t make work with the free version. So get the App, try it out. The free version has been great for our family for the past 3 years. Can’t recommend the subscription though. If they change to a one and done model, then I’d say consider it.

Love this app! been using 6 years!. I absolutely love this app and have been using it for several years now, i tell people about it all the time. the only thing that would enhance this app for me, would be if my kids could have the app on their phone as a view only, and could not alter the schedule. i feel they would accidentally delete things on the calendar, my recipes, etc. perhaps if they made it so that one person was the administrator/manager, and others could submit a request for an appointment to be added, that the administrator would approve. still giving 5 stars b/c i could not function without it!! but having teenagers now, they like to know what’s coming down the pipe, and i won’t let them sign in lol

Requires Attention. Pro’s: functions (barely) as a family calendar. Links our family together well. Cons: been using the Gold version of this app for about 5 years. Haven’t had the desire yet to move to something better. Have had multiple issues in the past with it becoming unstable, shutting down or logging itself out. Even though on “auto-renew”, it has reverted back to the free version several times requiring an email to support. Researched this app recently and found multiple users who have it longer than us. They reported that it has not been updated, functions have not been updated or made more user friendly since the app was designed. The consensus (I feel the same) is that this app was made available and has received no attention since. It makes no suggestions, not personalized like most other long-standing calendar apps. Example; it doesn't remember regular, previous, frequent appointments, names, words, like when entering next month’s appointment at a regular doctor appointment. In “Title”, doesn’t not capitalize letter of each word. Nothing seems to have changed in 5 years. Very generic and cumbersome compared to free apps such as iCal or Google which we'll probably use again. I’ve reported, in detail, suggestions with no response received.

Will there be updates or should I cancel my Gold now?. I want to love it. It does many things well but misses on some very basics. Lists are my biggest issues. You can’t sort alphabetically, it does nothing to prevent duplicates, when creating a new item you have to drag it to a category instead of selecting the category on entry (or even on edit), and NO SEARCH! These are simple and game-changing upgrades but as far as I can tell, Cozi has zero interest in improving their app. I’ve reached out before and got nothing. So Cozi - tell me now if I need to find a better program and cancel my renewal of Gold OR, will you be putting the smallest amount of effort towards features that really should have been there all along?

User Friendly. Our extended family has finally found a shared calendar we all can live with. It is easy to enter or edit an event & indicate who is participating. There is extra room on a pop-up screen when you want to provide extra detail about an event but because it pops up when you want it, it isn’t in the way from seeing the larger picture. It is easy to see at one glance what is happening no matter which device you are using at the time. When you are away from home it is easy to make an appointment and know that you are not going to conflict with something else. Customer service is timely, friendly & helpful even if you are using the free version. Using Cozi has eliminated scheduling problems within the family. It is meeting our needs very nicely. If you are looking for a way to coordinate family events, do give Cozi a try.

Most useful app ever!!!. I’ve used Cozi for several years now. It’s my recipe collection; my grocery list; my holiday and birthday gift idea list; project lists, to do lists...and so much more. I’ve collected hundreds of recipes and can easily doubled check needed ingredients in the store as well as share recipes with family and friends with a quick text. The calendar keeps the entire family straight as we can easily see what each of us had going on. Early on, I upgraded to the paid version and there’s no going back. The shopping feature is priceless- as you check items off your grocery list, they fall to the bottom, thereby keep your shopping list streamlined and clutter free. I would be lost without Cozi and I recommend it to everyone!

Awesome app. I really enjoy so much about app. Very useful and very much a great addition to our large family. I would like if there was a dark mode the screens seem very bright sometimes, if we could have the choice of what day to start our week on i.e Monday vs Sun, would appreciate a priority option for items and the ability to align things at the bottom or whatnot, and if when I turned it sideways the item I was looking at expanded. Otherwise very intuitive super easy to coordinate with all our family and love that we can see multiple people’s schedule or one person’s. Some family prefer the agenda, some the calendar look. The ability to share lists and put in birthdays and the way they’re displayed is extremely helpful. Thank you.

I love the app but it has some opportunities. I am a premium customer (account under my husband) have really liked the app to connect between my husband, nanny and my calendars and schedule all the family appointments. It has really helped on organizing my household 😊 My builds on how to make this app a better app: - when you start writing things in the grocery list it doesn’t consider the things that are already written so you run the risk of listing things twice... it should take into consideration the things that are already there. - to upload recipes you have to use the desktop version... it would be great if this could be done from the app (who uses a computer any more for these things??)

It’s good but could be way better.. PRO: I like the daily view with the color-coded people on it. I like folks receiving email reminders. I like the lists feature. I do like this app and although my cons section below is huge, it’s more like constructive criticism than con. CON: I Wish monthly view would show basically everything the weekly view has. Not sure you can input something further out past 4-6 months. I want to enter a July date for reunion and a September date for a wedding but can’t (its December 2017) now. I also wish there was a way to copy spouse on the week’s schedule without adding his dot to the appointments. The Home page has to go. It’s distracting. Maybe put that stuff on a different page/tab entitled Cozi News or Other. It be nice to open up Cozi and be right at the calendar immediately. It IS a calendar app. Lastly, it would be great if your icon had a calendar on it

The best.. I love it and I have recommended it for busy families and blended (multiple home) families; and also for families where several adult children share in care of elderly parents so they all know appointments, doctor contacts, etc. It's a very good app, especially when many people in many locations using different systems need central access to information. I would love to see the option of adding a photo right in the Calendar instead of just the Journal. Newsletter from school indicating upcoming school event? Take a photo and put it in the calendar. New medical appointments? Take a photo of appointment card and put it in the calendar. Currently I document originals of newsletters and appointment cards in the Journal, but I would prefer to have them directly in the calendar.

Calendar is great; Lists not as great. I tried Cozi when it first came out and it never really worked for me. Recently I was talking with a friend and she raved about so I gave it another chance. Now I really like it, especially the calendar. It is really intuitive and easy to use. The lists, while intuitive, are not as helpful. I like the subtitles but once I've added an item I can't move it to a subcategory. My style is to brain dump my list items and organize later. I also like to organize my errands by priority and/or location. I use another app called Errands that I like better for the To Do list. I love the shopping list functionality in Cosi a lot though, especially the recipe integration but I still want to organize my lists by store/grocery aisle, etc. Cut and paste is too time consuming. I would prefer a grab and drop interface or something similar.

Love it, but has minor glitches. Love the fact that I can synchronize my schedule with the rest of the family’s. I liked the way time was entered before. Now, it is difficult because when I enter the time, sometimes it gets changed by mistake if I touch the screen (it is very sensitive to touch and easily changed) and I end up with the wrong time messing up my schedule. I liked the drop down option better. That option was impossible to change by mistake. Also, sometimes I keep entering ‘pm’, but when I save, the time still displays ‘am’. No matter how many times I change it, it remains ‘am’. Very annoying. Usually, it changes to the right time the next time I open the app, but I never know if I saved the right time or not. Other than that, the app is great. I use it every day.

Best app ever!!!. We are a three generation household, so managing multiple calendar events is a crucial part of our lives. Also, we grocery shop at several stores, so the list function is wonderful. The recipe ingredients function to grocery list just makes this app far and above other calendar apps. The only note we have for improvement would be the ability to attach a photo to the description of list items. Recommend this because every short named items have several qualifiers. At some point it becomes easier to take a photo. Example: toothpaste. If you are shopping for the person who put the item on the list, maybe they get what that want, but likely not. A photo gives so much more information, e.g. Crest 3D White Arctic Fresh.

Month review. We did the paid version because me and the wife have two kids who are starting to break into extra curricular activities (2nd grade and Kind). We wanted a seemless shared calendar. While In function I can say this fills that void, I can’t quite say why it feels a little clunky in practical use. Perhaps I need to temper my expectations of why an organizer app can do? The shared grocery list is great, the input to add to the calendar and assign different family members is nice but there’s functional things that a family on the go will yearn for. Things like integrating photos into your notes or even calendar entry’s would be great (how many of you see an add on Facebook or website and screen shot it?). Also personally for me I just don’t find myself reverting back to apples standard calendar app because this isn’t offering that much more over the OEM app.

Great for busy families. Negatives (why it lost a star): Unlike apple calendar, this app will not search locations for events so you must manually enter locations/addresses. Also this app’s charge for Gold is ridiculously high and not worth the price for a few extra features. The app does not coordinate with social media like Facebook events. Positives: Anyone can enter an appointment or event and all can see it. If you are invited to an event you receive a notification plus weekly reminders for events. I write my grocery list out on paper but the grocery list function is useful to me if I’m out and about and need to give myself a reminder to add something to my list. The app is easy to use—so much so that my retired parents use it (they watch my kids after school). I haven’t really used the recipe section but I like the idea of it. It might be worth it to have user submitted recipes.

Great App. Great features but is missing one thing.... This is an awesome app for a husband and wife to be able to stay connected with their busy schedules. HOWEVER, I feel that the Cozi app is missing one important thing that would make this app one of the top scheduling apps. There is absolutely no place or ability to upload any pictures to any of the “calendar events”. For example, I’d love to be able to upload a photo of a wedding invite or graduation invite to my calendar event in the app but I can’t. I literally have to type all of the info into the notes section if I want to keep it all in one place if the invite gets misplaced. A quick photo would be so convenient and be a HUGE PERK to this already awesome app. I hope that the creators of this app will consider this option in the next update.

I can’t live without you!. Totally passionate about this app. I’m a mom, wife, entrepreneur, and homeachool mom So I manage a lot for my own career and for my family. Never quite understood why I hated other calendars available to me w purchase of my phone and laptop. (I normally adore the google and Apple products) I hated being the family secretary until I got a hold of COZI! Now I take joy in opening the app and everything is like graphics heaven! The colors and text are clear at first glance. And even my most mundane weekly events- like my monthly weigh in for health- are easily searchable. To make things even more amazing, I synced up cozi with google, so each morning, my google Mini announces my agenda to me as if I’m a superstar! Just love this app. Don’t think I can live without it! Thank you to our children’s therapist who recommended it to us.

Helpful reminders. I signed up for Cozi many years ago when my husband was still alive, then he could see what meetings I was going to, and I could see when he was going to be at the Bridge club which was nearly every day. He died five years ago, and now I’m all alone. However, I continue to use Cozi because it keeps my reminders for myself to know when my doctor appointments are and my physical therapy is. Also, let me know my fun things that I need to do such us to go crocheting on Thursdays and playing cards on Tuesdays. You don’t have to be more than one person to use the system and I’m very thankful for that. Also great for making my grocery list and finding some recipes occasionally. I haven’t missed any birthdays with the family for quite a few years. Keep up the good work.

It’s winning me over. This app has lots of potential to become my go-to, but it’s hard to break away from my Google Calendar. I’d love to be able to alter the look of the printable calendar as it’s very small font and doesn’t use the entire piece of paper. Also I wish there was an option to automatically delete items once they are checked instead of having to repeatedly agree to that. I haven’t quite figured out how to use the recipe section with my grocery planning, but that’s on me. Also, I’d be willing to pay a small amount to see the full month calendar on my phone. I still feel Google has a more polished feel and I prefer the look of their calendar with banner headings in different colors for family members instead of small dots. Otherwise, I LOVE having my calendar and lists in the same place and easy to access and add to by my partner.

Using for years. I have been using this app for years and have really enjoyed it. I share it with my family and it helps keep our schedules aligned, especially when we’re making doctors appointments, hair appointments or weekend plans. There has been a recent change that has eliminated the ability to put an event all day for multiple days. For example, if you’re going to Hawaii for a week, you could select a date, select all day, then select an end date, and it would show up on your calendar for seven days if that’s how long you put it for. Now, I try and set an event for multiple days, and it only shows up on one day on the calendar. Now I have to enter that event each day. Not sure if it’s a glitch or not, but it is super frustrating.

Calendar view leaves a lot to be desired. I love most things about us the app, enough to pay for the gold even! It helps my partner and I communicate about plans, groceries, and what needs to get done around the house. My one complaint though, unfortunately, is a pretty big one: the calendar view (for gold subscribers) is TERRIBLE. The lines between the weeks and days are very light, which in itself wouldn’t be so much of a problem except that on top of that, the dates are in the bottom right corner. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a calendar that was laid out like this, and it makes it extremely difficult to decipher what day you’re looking at with just a quick glance. I’d love to see an update that allows us to customize the graphic settings of our calendars, or even just a change that makes it more clear what the date is for each day.

Have tried to change, keep coming back!. There is just nothing that compared to all the functionality Cozi does for a crazy life. Our calendar keeps track of multiple people located in multiple locations due to co-parenting/divorce AND being the caregiver of an elderly parent AND bills and work schedules!!! I am a visual person--the colors save me! I know I don't utilize all of the features I pay for as a Cozi Gold subscriber, but I'll tell you quite honestly--the Birthday Calendar is oh so worth it!!! I just have to plug a few key hinges in & it's done! No integrated app to buy or figure out! My only suggestion would be to change the Birthday Calendar to a more universal calendar so it keeps track of not only birthdays, but anniversaries & other important recurring dates.

Organization!!!. Cozi has become our personal assistant. With family members spread over several states we manage to find weekend get always that work for the whole family. Being able to post to each others calendars is a benefit! For the immediate household we are always up to date on neighborhood gatherings, personal appointments, and our daughters college & dating schedule. Cozi recipes, and shopping make life easy on daily basis. Reminders, help us organize days in advance. Household maintenance schedules are easier to follow with Cozi. To do lists make floating chore days easy work through! The the same chores getting done weekly by three people on different days, so nothing’s overwhelming! To do list made for an easier move last year! Birthday reminders help us remember things when we are at a frantic pace.

Cozi keeps us together!. We began using Cozi for the family calendar YEARS ago. We quickly found out that the grocery (and other) lists were just as valuable. When we began, my hubby and I were the only ones with phones, but found out it made communication much easier, and forgetting didn’t cause as many problems. Now both kids are out of school, one in college/one working, but we still add things to the calendar so we know if we can meet up together. We can also help remind the others if we plan on being at one of their events. Kids also still keep a “wish list” so I know if there is something I can pick up for them on vacation, for birthdays, or whenever. Love it. Plan on keeping it til they put my funeral on the calendar. 🤗

Ok but could be better. I’ll start by saying my wife and I have used this app for about six years. We got it initially because it was about the only decent family calendar in the App Store when we started looking. We never upgraded to the full pay version because it’s ridiculously expensive for limited improvement. It’s nice to have a family planning app with shared calendar, shared lists, recipes, journal, etc, BUT each of these components are all mediocre. I have a “to do” app, a recipe app, that are much more functional (and still free). My wife and I also just started using the iOS calendar app with family sharing. It’s easy to set up shared calendars and it has better calendar views than Cozi. For the money Cozi makes from advertising and paid subscriptions they should have a top-of-the line product to offer, but they don’t. The developers have done little to improve the app it the time we’ve been using it either. After over five years of using Cozi, I’ll be moving on.

Cozi Gold is the best Organizer App ever!. Our family is so busy; this app helps us not only to keep track of our own individual dates & times, but we can also see what other family members are doing. The reminders are so helpful too. I use nearly all of the many features that Cozi offers. One of my favorites is the shopping list feature. Two or more people can shop from the same list at the same time, checking items off as they put them in their cart. The other person can see in “real time “ on their phones as each item is checked off. No duplication and shopping finished in half the time. We also use the “To Do” list function to keep us on track. There are so many things you can do with the Cozi App, which is free, but we think that the extra features in the Gold version is worth the money.

Worth every cent!. I LOVE this app. It’s absolutely saved my life! I have a special needs child with lots of appointments and therapies. Plus trying to manage a household. My husband works A LOT. I tried lots of different paper planners but it just didn’t work for me. I love that I can set reminders, especially for my husband or that he can know what our plans/appointments are for the day. Grandparents are also very involved and I share the app with them and can add them to events. I can send everyone reminders. I’m so glad I purchased this app because I debated it. I wasn’t sure if I’d keep up with it but I absolutely do! It’s so easy and more convenient than a paper planner. I use it every day. I’d be so lost without this app.

Love it! Needs a couple more features to be super useful to me.... Works great as a family grocery list for sure. My kids have it on their phones and when they run out of something or want something new, they add it to the list and I see it when I’m at the store. It also works great as a repeatable packing list, particularly with the Heading feature to let me organize the list within the lists. For example, I create subheadings for toiletries, business travel, international travel, clothes, etc, and when I put it in my suitcase I mark it off the list. When everything is packed, I select the feature to Uncheck All and I have the list at the ready for my return trip as well as future trips. The two features that would make this app even more useful for me are: 1) the ability to change the list item to a different List or To Do, and 2) the ability to add a date to a list item to make it appear on the calendar. I can’t tell you how many times I had something on my Walmart shopping list but needed to put it on my BJs or grocery list, and there are things in my To Do world that need to be completed by specific dates but need to be on a master To Do list where I can see them all in case I can get to it earlier. With those two features, I’d give this app a 5 star rating. Thanks!

Good app but.... I really wish there was a version on Apple Watch with a few simple things such as viewing to do lists, calendar items, and shopping lists. It’s great on mobile, having all our info in one place is very helpful and there’s more to it than just a simple calendar. My fiancé and I leave each other sweet family journal entries at random and I love “finding” them. So far it’s just the two of us using it, but I plan on getting my kids into it soon, now that they’re in junior high and have more to keep track of each day. Having a Watch app with reminders throughout the day would be amazing because I could make sure the kids put their due-dates for assignments in it and I could help them stay on task simply from my wrist...if I see something is due soon, I could just send them an iMessage while I’m at work without having to go get my phone.

Best Family Scheduler!. We’ve used this app for many years now, and the whole family is trained to use it! Love the color-coding, super easy to put things in right away, it’s clean to look at, user-friendly and love all the extra features too - but the calendar is the best. I truly prefer this one to any of the others I’ve tried. A couple of suggestions that I think would improve this for me is for the color coding to go beyond just the dot...it would be even easier to tell them apart at a quick glance. So that for each person the entire entry would be in their color. Also, I would LOVE it if the Cozi app could link easily to other calendars. For example, if i could directly link it to my Apple calendar, it would also link to my watch. I wouldn’t have to enter things on both apps individually.

I love this app. EDIT: The issues described below are no longer present. This app is great and has been a game-changer for our family. This app was perfect for coordinating grocery lists in our family and saving lots of recipes I’d used for years and new ones I’d find on the internet. Recently, it is so clogged with ads that it’s much more of a pain to use. I understand that’s how they make money, so I can live with it. However, they’d even to have taken away one of my favorite features, which is the ability to add the ingredients list from a recipe directly to my shopping list. There are several apps that do what Cozi does. I may have to switch to one that better suits my needs unless they revert to their former greatness.

Great App Love but needs improvements. I really love this app but needs improvements to be more user friendly. My first complaint is the grocery list has too many steps to erase the items & I cannot tell you how dumbfounded I am no one at Cozy can figure this out. Adding items to the calendar has to change because I keep putting an appointment type it close it then I cannot find it because to input the date it’s just terrible again way too many steps come on people!!this is meant to replace the paper agenda keep this in mind genius developers!! I have kids and let me tell this app fails me as a parent hire Dads and Moms as developers to figure out what I’m talking about because you clearly have no CLUE!! So I’ll keep the app for now until I find another one who knows what the heck I’m talking about. FYI I’m a professional who has a full time job

It’s OK. I switched to this from my paper planner because I was tired of having to remind everyone all the time about their appointments. I like that we can share info, this app was more family oriented where others are more business oriented. I would like to view my monthly calendar differently. Right now, all the months are squished together and it’s difficult to see what month you’re looking at and when you transition to a new month. It would help for the month to be slightly larger and only one on the screen at a time. I also would like everyone’s activities to be color coded on the monthly view. I would like a week at a glance view like I have in my paper planner. It would be nice if there was a feature to default to one person so I don’t have to keep changing that each time I enter a task, since I mostly often enter only my own.

So far so good. My husband and I have been using the free version of this app for a week trying to determine if we liked it enough to use instead of handwritten version of a family command center in our kitchen. Getting my husband to use a new app is typically difficult but he’s been on board pretty well so far. There are a few annoyances that keep this app from being really great though and I’m writing to see if the app makers can fix: 1. Being able to move to-do’s from one list to another. Currently you have to re-create the todo under a different list and delete the first. Not efficient when I’m trying to create efficiency. 2. Lists seem to always default upon opening to the Shopping list view instead of sticking to what you were last viewing, in my case typically the To Do lists.

Good but could use some improvements. The good: - it does what it says. It is a family organizer and allows me to see my husband’s work schedule so that we can coordinate childcare, etc. - it aids in communication. It solves that whole “I didn’t know you had drinks tonight!” The term “it’s in cozy” has replaced “it’s on the calendar.” -it is color coded and has the person’s name underneath to make things clear -the shared to-do list is a game changer - same for the grocery list. Needed improvements: - the default participation for every event is “All [members],” even when you’re in an individual’s calendar. I have to manually unselect All for every event, which is annoying when I’m putting in my work schedule. - it would be very helpful to set up recurring events without needing to add a patterned. Especially for shift workers. For example, i work 6am-6pm but not in a patterned schedule that I could put on repeat. It would be helpful to make a 6am-6pm event or tag that I can apply on the calendar instead of manually setting the time for each shift. It would also be helpful for childcare, for example make an event called “pickup” at 5pm that I can apply to any days I need my husband to do pickup. - I can’t figure out how to view just certain members’ schedules. If I just want to look at my husband’s and my schedules but not my sister’s childcare needs, I can’t.

Holidays/Messaging/Recipes. It’s missing Easter and April Fool’s Day. Those are pretty basic so that’s odd. Also, the app really needs some kind of comment or messaging feature similar to Picniic, FamCal, or several other family organizer apps. Until that’s added, I can’t bring myself to subscribe because so many of these other apps offer that feature for free. I really like the colored dot system for family members. And I want to love the recipe saving/importing system but it doesn’t seem to work very well. I just finished trying it on about 10 sites and it pulled from 4 (the other 6 it just gave me an error on), with one of those having pulled nutrition info into the ingredients section instead of the actual ingredients. So it really only worked 3 times out of 10. This is definitely not something I would pay for without some improvements. I do like the the concept enough that if the issues I listed were fixed, I most likely would gladly subscribe.

Great communication tool, here's some suggestions. This has been a great communication tool between my husband and myself. Don't have to worry about forgetting the grocery list, it's on the phone! He'll call/text and say he's going and I'll add/mark items easily. - He'd love me to be able to alphabetize the shopping mode to make marking items off the asker. Be great to be able to that with the marked off items to uncheck (indicating the need to buy) so items are easier to find. - Another suggestion for the To-Do list...make it so you have to manually mark it as complete. Receive repeated notifications until marked complete. Otherwise if you don't do it right then when notified it can get forgotten. Or at least making this as an option. I use another app that has this feature because of it.

Needs a little work. I have been using Cozi for number of years. There are a few issues that have me really tempted to try a different app. I no longer use the calendar because I did not care for the daily only layout option. I like to see a week or month at a time when needed in addition to daily. Options are good. Items go missing from my lists. I am positive I have added them yet when I'm standing in the store the items I added just a short time before are no longer on the list. Ads really frustrate me with Cozi! I go to add an item to a shopping list and the app takes a little bit to fully load, as I'm typing in the item an ad pops up in the text area and sends me to an external website that I didn't request. I have learned to wait for that app to fully load before I add an item however that is frustrating in itself. I really appreciate that the lists sync with my husbands phone which is a different operating system. He is able to add items to our shopping lists as well as I can. No longer can he tell me an item which I forget to add. He's now is responsible for adding his own item ;) I have added research a new list app to my to do list. I rely heavily on my lists and when items go missing it is time to find a new app. Sorry Cozi, I was a devoted user and gave plenty of time to fix the issues with no results.

On the fly. I love using Cozi!! I tell all my friends about it. I can get my grocery list in on my phone, and my husband can go get the groceries using his phone. I can set appointments, meetings and get-togethers on the fly. It’s a lifesaver. With the family gold plan you can notify your family members and they can understand your schedule which makes life easy. I also love the gold plan because I can set three alarms so I don’t miss a meeting/appt. and I just learned how to import my child’s ENTIRE school year Into the calendar. I used to sit down at the kitchen table for hours collecting all of the fliers and calendars from her school and enter each event and vacation day manually. Now it is just a couple clicks. I’m working my way to using the recipe box and maybe one day I’ll be using the journal.

Great Family Calendar. Cozi helps all of us know the what where and time of all our family members from Drs Appointments to volleyball practice we all know what’s going on. Who’s at the dentist? Whose driving the carpool for football practice at 6:00? Three different homes, multiple family members all in a shared calendar we wouldn’t live without. Each person is named and color coded. Appointments have a start and end time. Reminders can be set for multiple attendees and it only takes 15-20 seconds to enter an appointment. Easy to reschedule, easy to set up recurring appointments. My 85 year old Dad uses it, so trust me, it’s easy to use. You can even scroll back in time to see when you had your last haircut. It’s the best family calendar out there. I’d give it 10 stars if it let me.

Organization at its finest. I was extremely cautious about paying the money for the upgraded version- then they offered a 14 day free trial and I was hooked! The calendar aspect is amazing and allows me to keep track of everyone’s schedule in my family and I can actually see what’s written in the blocks unlike some other calendar apps. I would like to have some different color options, but that really is a minute detail ;) The “list” section could use some revamping/ improving, but it’s still effective and does the job. I would definitely recommend this app, and if they offer you a 14 free trial, take advantage! Remember, it’s for an entire year too, not a monthly fee. If you don’t like it, set a reminder for when it’s about to expire and cancel it :)

Very good, could be great!. I love so many things about this app! Shared calendar, shared family journal, user-friendly, and more. But my constructive criticism is this: when looking at the month view, one can’t see whose appointment it is (the type could be shown in their color, as a suggestion); when zoomed in on the month view, the font is so tiny, even zoomed in, that it’s hard to tap on the right appointment, in case of a need to edit - one must go to the weekly view and scroll to the appropriate day; and, finally, one must choose a time for the appointment with the scroll-through-the-times method, whereas apps like Sunrise allowed a quick-set method where one typed it in, saved it, and then one could adjust the time by drag and drop. Of course, keep in mind that I am PICKY, so with these being my only irks, and the rest being lovely, it’s a well-earned 4 stars!
