My twins love it!!. My daughter loves that they 'cook together' and the music and the discovery-so wonderful! They like dressing the knight for his journey-works well and very intuitive. No complaints here-wish there were more like them!

Beautiful 3d book. This app is amazing. My 4 yr old girl loves it! You get the full story and not just a teaser to buy the full version. The quality is terrific and I am going to purchase the other titles because they are that good. Please make more of them.

Great App. This app is well worth the money. My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves it. She has a very hard time sitting still for any length of time, but this app keeps her occupied for a good while. We love the graphics and the interaction! Great buy!

Very interactive and well narrated. I got all the princess ones for my 5 yr girl and she loves them all. Each opens like a 3-D book with interactive graphics. Well made, what a great idea. Highly recommend these.

My 22 mo old loves it!!. By little guy loves making the flowers grow and soothing the baby until she goes to sleep. When he gets a little older I am sure he will enjoy the story too.

Grimm's Rapunzel. This is so tedious! Picking flowers to put in a basket? Please! Watering a garden? And it's so s-l-o-w! Plus, the illustrations are worse than juvenile, they're contaminated by pop culture and the two major cartoon-making studios (Disney and Pixar). I found it insulting to an adult intelligence and way too clunky and pedestrian for a child's. It would have been so much more interesting had it contained some historical context and perspective and much, much less of the cutesy "chores."

The perfect amount of activity and storytelling. My daughter (5) loves this app! We recently took it on a trip with another family, kids aged 3 and 5 1/2. All three kids took turns with the iPad for this app alone, over and over again. They didn't want to play the kid games or watch the shows. They wanted to "play" with this book. Awesome! Please make more!!

Very cute!. My 7 & 9 year old spent an initial 30 minutes going through the book the first time. Since then the have gone over it again and again. We have since grabbed the free Grimm's Tales book by the same developers; it has 25+ text stories with pictures in it for traditional reading.

Rapunzel. My 6 yr old grdtr - having seen Tangled last month, but knowing the Grimm's story from early on - loved this iTunes pop-up version very much. She can read much of it along with the narration, which is another great feature of the item.

Fun & keeps them busy. My 5 year old played with this app when we were in the store purchasing the iPod And it kept her entertained while we completed our purchase. This was one of the first apps I purchased for her.

Such a great app. My five-year-old niece loves it so much~~! she always wants to play this app~~~ however, she skips all the stroy-telling parts,and straightly goes to play the little games.

Awesome!. This "pop up" book is adorable! We have downloaded several and this one is the best. The story is simplified but the graphics are amazing. Very cute.

Very nice effects. Fantastic Pop up book. My kids love the Pop Up effect. Very well done. Much much better than your other book Rumpelstilkin - that one is extremely basic, that one my kids played it once and never picked it up again.

Engaging. My three year old granddaughter loves this app. It keeps her entertained in the car and while waiting in restaurants. I have several apps for her on my phone but she always picks this one

Teacher likes. Wow. Really, really amazing. I teach young kids and tried this app with my class. They loved it! The interactive tasks are perfectly presented. More importantly, they provide very positive feedback when completed by the child.

The best yet!. I am always looking for neat interactive books and this one is great. My 4.5 year old daughter loves it. Fast operating speeds, easy to jump around, great animation.

Needs consistency. On the interactive pages, the forward ">" glows reminding my daughter to move ahead to the next page. It would be nice after it reads the normal page, for it to make it glow, too. Also, as my 3 year old tries to click and drag any of the interactive pieces on teheran iPad, she ends up lifting the tray showing the other apps. This makes it frustrating for her. We do enjoy it on the iPod Touch.

great!. I love this book! The picture quality is great and my daughter loved it. There is even an auto play option if she wants it read to her a bunch of times, it reads it to her and turns the pages too. It even kept her attention because it was interactive. I can't wait like others for more like this!

My 3 yo loves it!. My only problem is she has a hard time moving the music sheets, and even when I do it, it doesn't always accept my motions. Would love to add some of the others if they were in the $1-$2 range. I also like the idea of highlighting the words.

It can't get much better than this.. StoryToys consistently makes the best storybook apps out there. As we have come to expect, this version of Rapunzel has every detail lovingly thought out, from the beautiful and atmospheric music to the amazing animation as the characters pop out and the pages of the storybook turn. Worth every penny.

This game teaches it's OK to steal from others. I got this for my four-year-old daughter thinking that it would be a nice way for her to get to know the fairy tale. However, the first and only time she tried it, she shouted, "No, I won't pick the flowers from the evil witch's garden! They belong to somebody else!" She has never touched the game again. At least I know that I raised her with the understanding that we do not take things that belong to other people, whether we like them or not.

Love it!. My toddler grandchildren love Rapunzel! Today my granddaughter kept pointing at my purse and saying "baby, baby" -- she and her brother wanted me to get out my iphone so they could see the page of the baby Rapunzel, shake her rattle and make the jack in the box pop in and out. They also love to plant the flower seeds and water them. They are not even two yet, but they are quite good at it. I wish there were lots more books like this, but they must be beautifully illustrated like this one.

Fun and Education. I bought this app for my child who is in French immersion kindergarten. Both the English and French readings are great. My child loves the interactive sections. Worth the $.99!

Good, but touch activities are awkward. The story and activities are fun, but its awkward and not intuitive. The Farm123 is perfect. When you touch an item in that book to pick it up, it stays in place under your finger. For this one, when you grab a flower, it moves out from under your finger leaving almost an inch of space between your finger and the item. It's awkward, and enough to make a toddler let go thinking they didn't grab the item correctly. Please fix this! The items don't need to move when you grab them! Maybe a slight movement to signify you've got it, but it's unusable the way it currently is.

Nice app for kids.. Very nice I love the story it's the perfect length with a good amount of reading which is most important. The activities are fun and easy for children's play without help from mom and dad.

Amazing!. Everyone in our house loves this book! We range in age from a 3 1/2 year old girl to her 59 year old Papi. The illustrations are gorgeous and reading it is a joy.

Terrific fun for 4. My 4 yr old saw this in BB and fell in love with it. Had to pick it up when we got home. He's still playing with it and keeps finding new finger gestures as well as trying to read along. Great app!

My girls love this one. My 3 and 6 year old read this over and over. They love the Interactives between text pages. I like that the Interactives are separate from the reading pages. The only thing I would say that would make me like this app more is highlighting the text as it is read.

Great design but disempowering story for girls. We bought this App for our 2.5-year old daughter. She loves the interaction with the characters. However, as parents, we found this story out-dated and disempowering for girls. In this story, the princess lives a miserable and powerless life, and has to wait for a prince to rescue her, and bring her happiness. We don't like the underlying message of the story. We have removed this App. We hope that the developer will produce interactive books to encourage healthy development of girls.

Great entry in the "Interactive Pop-Up Book" genre. My daughter woke up last night and was having a bit of a problem falling back to sleep, being Christmas I wasn't too surprised. So I asked if she'd like to read a story with me. Since I just purchased Rapunzel, I wanted to give that a try (they also adored Tangled, so I mean - this was just perfect). Throughout the story, I couldn't get over how big the smile was on her face. Every page, every little bit about it, the interaction, everything was just perfect. Well worth the money, and I'm sure I'll get the same out of Rumpelstiltskin as well! Don't hesitate. Pick it up. Supporting devs like this is the best way to bring interactive reading in the RIGHT way to our kids. And as an aside, the reason I mention that is because although I LOVE the other books, even the Dr. Seuss books - this is the only one that separates the interactivity of the story. Sometimes I don't mind it all being together, but I like that they can enjoy the story with no distractions and then have that broken up by interactions with the book itself. Kudos! My only other wishes: - Ability to skip the activities. - Make them a bit easier, sometimes the detection of moving stuff into the basket or pot can be a bit of a mixed bag. - Select by chapter/section - I know this won't happen, but maybe an unabridged version...? :) - More "unique" characters and designs, unfortunately they do look a lot alike. - I want to see Rapunzel's hair dangling from the tower! Or wrapped behind her! I mean, my kids wnat to see that ;) - As with the previous mention... maybe have one of the actiities be climbing up her hair? :) Regardless, it's worth the cost of entry. Keep up the good work, looking forward to check out your other books!

A german friend told me about both apps and I found both of them here in the US store as well. conclusion: for toddlers get the 'wimmel book' for schoolchildren this app is great! thank you!

No hair down?. The app is OK, although there is plenty of room for improvements. The thing that really disappointed me was not seeing any scene (drawing or animation) with Rapunzel letting down her hair from the tower. Is it possible to imagine her story without this scene? The app is free though...

Too Many up costs.. Too many in-app purchase requirements to unlock levels. If the company is going to charge $3.99 for an app they shouldn't nickel and dime us. Let kids use the game without having to dish out more money. This app is too limited, not worth buying.
