Constantky crashes. What happened Developers? Did you forget about us? I Haven't seen an update to address the issues I and others keep telling you about in our bd reviews. The entire ONCE GREAT app is now an unstable mess. If I zoom in on a page it crashes. If I switch from mobile to desktop it crashes. I use it primarily in desktop mode to go to certain sites, such as eBay but I have to copy the browser address immediately as it crashes with minutes. It’s a constant cat & mouse game, sorta like what’s going on here with a lack of updates. You chase the money, while we chase updates. YOU WIN, we lose.

It does not deserve such if a low rating.. I don’t see in anyway why this has a low rating. It's one of my favorite browsers honestly. Hands down the best desktop browser on for the mobile device. I love how you can use the front cam for online webcam. It's fast also it's easy to download anything and have it to straight to Dropbox or Google drive. I rarely pay for so apps and I have no regrets for buying this one. It's my second most used web browser, I use Safari the most because of its integration with the phone but when I need to download anything I openin in Puffin.

Alternative rendering engine!. The very best alternative to nearly every browser for iOS: as this has a customer rendering engine. Different websites load better with this one year old app than Safari does. I’m also glad the formatting actually does render correctly for the new iPad Pro 11” screen. Apple is no longer allowing this app to be updated, due to their policy change on independent rendering engines/flash support. It’s a very sad situation, hoping even a year later that this would be resolved eventually.

Works great!. No, this is not a paid review. No, this is not a bot. This app works as intended. I can play games I normally couldn’t on Safari. For those of you looking to play AJPC/Animal Jam Classic, it seems that you have to download it to a computer. I know your pain. The only issue I’ve found is not allowing me to use dark mode. Other than that, everything is perfect. If Puffin is running slow, I suggest closing any other apps you aren’t using and try to limit the number of open tabs to three at max.

Fan-freaking-tastic. I installed this to watch flash enabled web content not expecting much beyond being able to do exactly that. It works for that of course but, the other benefits are exceptional. While using Puffin, i no longer get the mindless string of "A problem was encountered..." Error messages. The page load speeds are a bit faster but the lack of having to reload EVERY webpage 20 times while i try to read them makes all the difference in the world. It makes my old ipad 2 usable again. Thank you a ton...

Great option for flash on iOS. No hidden fees(So far). Got Puffin for my iPad to play online flash games I’ve been playing for over 15 years. After trying similar free apps, with hidden fees and poor quality, I decided to bite the bullet and pay for Puffin. I’m so pleased (So far, only one day of use so far. I’ll update rating later if I find problems or bad bugs.) with the ease of this browser. Of course it is no Safari or Chrome however it gets the job done! However, I have found on a touch screen device, if you want to play an online game that requires you to click and hold a mouse button while moving around it will not work. Other than that, it’s great so far!

Really great!. This is really worth your money, this version of puffin has no ads, faster service, easier controls, and so much more! I don’t regret spending my money on it, because it’s worth the price! Now, my opinion about people using this as their main browser: No, don’t depend on this as your main browser! Puffin was mainly released to be able to have the same games and formats as a computer. It was made for looking at things you can only access on the computer/laptop. But now that they released it to have an option between a computers options and a phones options, everyone is choosing phones. Guys, you need internet for this to work, that’s why your getting all kinds of bugs! I get that it’s faster, but these people are writing reviews like “I’m cursing at my iPad bc it’s not as fast as puffin”. Like seriously? Your that dependent on puffin? I only use puffin to play pc games that I can’t play on my phone, like Animal Jam. Welp that’s all I had to say bye🤝

Super sad that they are no longer supporting this app.. According to the developers help page Apple has blocked the last few updates to this app so they are no longer supporting IOS apps. Unfortunately there are a couple of websites that I can open with no other mobile browser. This was such a good browser. I'm incredibly sad that this happened. So far it is still working for me with the exception of downloads going no where. I will keep it until it no longer functions for those websites I need it for. Such a shame.

I only rated it 5 stars to show you guys. I wouldn’t recommend this app, I payed $5.00 for it to play moviestarplanet and the page wouldn’t load, it just shows up as a black screen. Then I tried other pages like discord, it wouldn’t work. this app misfunctions meaning it doesn’t even work. I wouldn’t pay for it

Does what it’s intended for. For those of us trying to find a mobile browser that has built in flash-player, this is the one. From time to time I like to play simple browser games, but booting up a PC to do something so simplistic is overkill. When I found Puffin, I was able to enjoy these things from my iPad, and on the go, too! I used to enjoy things such as Dragonfable and Oregon Trail (which, yes, there is a free browser version of. You’re welcome ❤️). Now I can play these things on the mobile. Puffin is well worth the money and there are no fees involved after purchase of the app. Photon Flash Player is garbage, don’t waste the money like I did.

What is going on with the True, Stay on this page. Leave this page box. For about 6 days now, everytime I tap something on Newsfeed, I did a white box that says "True" in black font on the top line, the next line says, "Stay on this page" in blue font and the last line says, "Leave this page" in blue font. You have to tap "stay on this page" to move on and seto e if you received the item you tapped on, when you tap on Home to get back on Newsfeed the box comes back and you have tap "Stay on this page" gain. The back arrow is not working with this new box that is coming up. Instead of just tapping (or clicking) twice to get a job done, you have to tap or click four times, which is ready slowing things up. It is doing this on my Ipad, mini Ipad, and Iphone 6s+. Please fix this.

Not Good ... At Times Just Out-Right Non-Functional. I purchased this app. during the 2020 “work from home” orders. After much web research, it “appeared” that this browser was useful for use on iOS devices as iOS does not sport Adobe Flash Player, which was needed for some of my office related responsibilities. In those applications it’s, at best, glitchy but seems to get done what’s needed. However, in trying to just use this browser as my primary browser on my iPad, some, if not many, basic functions just don’t work. I’m not talking about accessing and navigating specialized or purpose-built web applications. I’m talking about widely known and widely used search, web forum and shopping applications. Freezes and non-responsiveness are frequent. For iOS devices it seems like Safari is our best bet ... too bad.

Bought it years ago and haven't looked back. This is easily the fastest browser I've ever used on iOS. This is my 3rd iPad I'm using it on and I'm so glad I decided to buy the full version all those years ago. The proxy service is flawless. I use it for streaming video and the built in media player is great and has very nice built in controls. Definitely worth every penny!

Love it! One major problem though... I've been using this app on my iPad for years and enjoying its performance, along with its capabilities. However, recently I've experienced an issue with the app whenever I try to download an MP3 file. It'll show that the download is ready, but the download will not make any progress whatsoever. I know for sure that it's neither my iPad, nor my internet, nor my download source that is the issue. It's the app that is causing the problem. I love using this app, but I cannot enjoy it, or download anything, while this issue remains. Please fix it so I can enjoy using this app again!

Dimensions Not Updated. I used Puffin in the past and enjoyed it, so it made sense as a second option to avoid tab overload in Safari. The functionality is still good, as far as I can tell, but the limited screen space—presumably on account of being fit to older hardware models—is moderately irritating. This may or may not be an issue for others, depending on usage/need, but it's noticeable after having adjusted to the X and later (or larger) for a few years. I should have paid closer to attention to the 3yr update wait, but chose to purchase as the still-recommended/formerly available free version is no longer available.

No longer works as a browser.. I purchased this years ago to have as a browser with flash player on it. Safari sucked so i was happy with puffin. I could open and play the games i like with out problems. Unfortunately it crashes gives errors says it cant search for it. Its extremely disappointed. If it doesnt work right people deserve a refund! I solely relied on this browser! Now its pretty much garbage! Are you continuing to develop it, or able to givea new update or download? Gave 1* only because it makes you and until its fixed ill stay at 1*

Good for Flash. Not much else.. Despite claimed data savings, this browser doesn’t feel any faster than Safari. I used to enjoy downloading large files directly to Dropbox in order to “save data”. Dropbox has since stopped supporting Puffin, however, Dropbox continues to be an option as a save location. Please remove this. I wasted an hour trying to figure out why files won’t save directly to Dropbox.

Unable to play certain things. I loved the old puffin and personally so far I feel that it’s better than the new one because of some things I am unable to do on it. I am unable to play certain computer games such as moviestarplantet which I was able to play on the old puffin. I don’t know why this is happening but I hope it gets fixed because I spend $5 just to play moviestarplantet computer version on my phone since I don’t have a actual computer. Please fix this bug!

Works perfectly. This is by far the best browser that has flash support. I am able to be open sites and desktop mode and stream audio and video that I cannot do with other browsers. It also allows me to view shows within the browser rather than open separate apps that require provider login. With the current bug in the latest version of Deezer that does not allow streaming on cellular data, with this browser I can use it in desktop mode and go to the Deezer site and it streams the music perfectly.

One of, if not the best desktop based browsers for iOS.. It has been extremely excellent to work with such a stellar app from a stellar visionary that this company brings, where so few dared to. By the hand of the need did such a calling came forth and gave iOS a new breath towards holding on a promise of more then just mobile but a true competitor or dare to say possibly a replacement for most use case scenarios as laptop replacement. This browser along with a few other management apps did deliver that promise even if short lived. I thank each and every curator, coder, planer, and technician for developing and maintaining such a feat albeit adjacent to such as Apple the tech giant. Can’t get flash to work. So I have a gen6 iPad with os 12.4. I have been trying to get this version to play any of my Facebook games and so far nothing. The money spent on this could have bought a game... is there any help for this? It loads the tabs on battle pirates but stops says it’s loaded. I cannot access the theater mode either it’s greed out. And I could not find anything that says turn on flash or turn on desk mode for this site. I did hit a tab that is supposed to access deskmode for all sites and it all looks like my laptop screen, but that’s it. Please help... I used it on my iPhone se and the free mode on my LG Stylo3 but it has not worked on my iPad or my iPhone XR.

Tried a few other browsers. I needed something that could use flash player for my at work training and could load my college online work both use this out of date format but this one was the jack of all trades doing it all!!! I love it and its going to be my main web browser worth the 5 bucks!!

Fix mobile browser on iPad Pro 12.9. I love this app and the capability it gives me to access web page content Safari doesn’t allow. This has made it my go to web browser for a long time. I recently upgraded from 9.7 iPad Pro to 12.9 and now if I switch to request mobile site, and close the app, the app will no longer open. I have to delete the app and re-download. Please fix this... having to check what mode I’m in before leaving the app is a pain, and having to re-download each time I don’t nullifies the convenience of the app.

Please help-cannot watch Big Brother love feeds. Hi, I was watching the live feeds on the full site of cvs and have done it for years on your app. Now, when I open the browser to watch the time is gone and it just was stuck on a time and it won’t move. I paid for this app and I paid for live feeds so I need to watch. Can someone please fix this issue with the app or figure out how to move the app online because I now their much let be millions who use this app just can’t get on. Can someone please help me bc I’ve asked several people and they need a change.👍🏽

Less Features. I have used Puffin Browser for awhile now, first being the free one so I could play “Animal Jam - Classic”. But unfortunately free Puffin ended up closing down, so I decided too get this one, unfortunately for me, “Animal Jam” stopped working. I was bummed because we can’t get a new computer at this time, but I still managed to use Puffin. Puffin is definitely my favorite browser app, and I’ve had it work a lot better/faster then other browsers. So I tend to use it for recipes/videos. But it still feels like something was taken away from me, so I have to give it a 4-star review. However, I would like to know whether or not Animal Jam decided to completely stop it on mobile devices or not.

Great app. Puffin Pro is an excellent app it allows me to access content that I wouldn’t be able to access otherwise due to the limitations of IOS. I will be unable to access important sites and information with my iPhone after this app is terminated. Thank you for the great service and opportunities you have provided us.

Excellent for Desktop Websites. My iPhone 7 Plus can handle any desktop website I've come across. So, there's no reason for me to use a browser that forces me to view cheesy little mobile sites or a card view that wastes screen space. Yes, Puffin has a few problems, but it is better than the mobile-site penalty I get for using other browsers. --

Doesnt work sometimes. I rated this app 1 because its just not a good app overall especially since its a paid app! If i pay money for an app I expect it to do what is supposed to do but this app is just not it! Not worth paying for! At first it did what it was supposed to do! I use puffin to play a flash game. The game is blurry on puffin so its not in good condition! However what makes me the most disappointed and dissatisfied is that the app doesn’t work sometimes i cant play the flash game! It works sometimes and doesn’t work sometimes! Now its been days and the app still doesn’t work! I am disappointed!

Its great with two problems. 1. Its needs to make the settings more accessible which is annoying bc if I press wrong this by accident I have to start over to go back into settings instead of back one step. 2. And this is the most important one is that they have their own preferred list of search engines and none can be added or deleted as far as I know. I would like that option of choice of search engine.

Is was my go to browser before it slowed down. What happened to slow down this browser to a crawl? It was functioning perfectly up until a few weeks ago when it wouldn’t load websites. Did something change behind the scenes? I didn’t see any updates recently. My home network is sound. I have 200mbps internet, a gigabyte 11AX router (TP Link Archer AX50), and a WiFi extender. Speed tests show that I’m getting 180mbps at my device anywhere in the house. I know it’s not my network slowing things down, it’s the Puffin browser choking on a bone. When I load the same pages on Safari they load quickly. Don’t waste your money on Puffin.

How is Puffin Pro worse than the free version?. I loved using the free version of Puffin because it supports flash on mobile and was very sad when they had to shut down the free version. So I happily paid $5 to support them and carry on using the browser. And yet.... windows close all the time for no reason and certain sites that worked on the free version don’t work on this version. I’m pretty bummed about this. I wish I could have my $5 back if it can’t even do what the free version could do.

I love Puffin. So much so, I bought the pro version right away. I’ve used this browser since they first hit the app store, and the only complaint I’ve had was one time I lost the record of my downloads when I allowed an update. That’s happened with Google and Safari, so I can’t hold Puffin’s feet to the fire, now can I ? They do what they say, better than anyone else. So there.

Great browser app. This app gets 5 stars for the simple fact I enjoyed it so much since I first downloaded it a few years ago. I was thinking to message them after noticing some minor issues/glitches I was having but decided to do some reading instead. For those using this app on iOS devices there are no more updates coming and there have been issues because APPLE have not been allowing the Puffin team make updates to the app. It is looked at as a rival do to the software that is being used thus the team has been handicapped on what to do. I’ve noticed it getting worse after updating the ipad OS on my ipad... it’s a shame. Good luck to those who worked on this on what ever they end up doing next

Works for me. The free version of this just stopped working for me, so I downloaded this Pro version, which I already had on my tablet. Facebook has been having a lot of issues lately, so using this version helped. Surprised at comments from two years ago that this is an experimental version...

Still losing connection. Not sure what happened to my review.. but anyway. Devs stated the random connection loss was fixed in this release. But it still continues to occur just as frequently as before. Only thing I've not encountered is the random freezes since this update(so thank you for that) Too long to rewrite my review. Short version, puffin used to be my most absolute favorite browser. But for a long time now, it's been problematic. I cannot write pages or posts with it because it constantly loses connection and reloads the page, losing everything I've written. (My connection is stable) Emailed support, they said they did something to address it. No different sadly. I'm very disappointed in Puffin. I cannot say it's a browser I can use that is reliable anymore. Not to mention it took away features in some past updates and never did add them back. Like the ability to manually bring a game pad on screen. Now it's limited to just flash. There were some uses with manually bringing it up for certain pages. Watching anything media related on Puffin is a chore because of the frequent page reloads and losing your progress. Surprisingly downloading a file has no issue. I miss the old Puffin...

Wasted my money. I just wasted my money on this puffin app. It won’t even load into the game i want! I know my WiFi is perfectly fine as well because I went into other apps and they did not even load, went straight into their app. Seriously, I’ve been dying to get this app and here I am ranting about how bad it is. If I had searched up anything else other than the game I was going to play, I would’ve gave this app a 1 star. I wouldn’t even make this app use other people’s money just to get puffin if I were the creator. Please address if it’s my WiFi, or is it your game. Seriously need to fix this app immediately before people WASTE their money. 😕

If you want a web browser, use something else. I wanted to be able to use flash on iPhone and this does the job. Puffin lite couldn’t run flash very well so I could spare a couple bucks. If you are looking for a web browser I recommend edge or chrome, puffin is not the best mobile web browser. It does play flash as well as old puffin did. But again, if you want a web browser for your phone I don’t recommend puffin, chrome is good and you should already have safari if you own an iPhone/iPad.

Puffin won’t connect to internet and/or the tab will disconnect from the internet. Puffin regularly either doesn’t connect to the internet altogether, or while browsing a game using flash the tab will crash and the screen will turn white and either reload right away, not reload at all and tell me to reconnect to the internet, or it will take forever to reload again. Most of the time when it doesn’t work, I simply stop using the app because it’s a waste of time. About a month ago the app was very fast, faster at running flash player games than my actual computer! Now it’s slow/laggy, and crashes a lot. When I say crash I do not mean that the app itself crashes, what’s happening is the app behaves as though it cannot connect to the internet, when my internet is working great.

So uhm quick question. Do you guys give refunds for this app I mean don’t get me wrong the app is great, I just don’t see the logical sense in spending 5 dollars on an app that’s not even supported by google. I bought this because I used to use the free version everyday but now I can’t even do that because its not supported. so I bought the premium version of the app thinking it would be worth while but honestly it’s not. I bought this app yesterday, and it disappointed me after one use. so if it’s not to much to ask can I please have a refund?

Update???. I love using this app for obvious reasons, and was happy to purchase the Pro version to support it. But there hasn’t been an update in a long time. Some websites state this browser is an older version and should be updated. And some sites don’t work in theater mode if there is a video. Still works smoothly for the most part, but takes a bit to load even when connected to WiFi. Please make an update for latest iOS .

Best app for flash. I love this app as it’s the best for flash games/animations. It’s really sad so many people are putting 1 Star down and claiming other apps do better. I’ve tried the others (waste of money) and this is the only one that works properly, especially with the mouse option. I recommend a two-finger tap for right-clicking. Love this app. Puffin loads heavy data sites like a champ. It flat out burns every other browser. If you force close all your browser apps and relaunch them onto data heavy sites like msn,yahoo,foxnews,cnn, to test how quickly they load. You will see this app truly work! Seriously 1/5 the loading time! Way faster than any other browser I’ve ever used and 10 stars all the way.. gives a slightly more browser-esque feel but for what I need it for 10 stars!

Great! Especially for flash. Love it. I was using the free and saw that support will stop. Thought ok I’ll try the paid version. Love the free version but the pay version is even unbelievably better. The flash performance and transitions are better. Please don’t close shop on the full/paid version. The alternative browsers that support flash in web (Photon browser) is no where near as good as Puffin. Please keep this going. 😢

What happened to updates for internet???. For the past 6 months every week if I don’t save every page under bookmarks, all of my open pages are deleted and I have to start from scratch every week. Why are you building a new phone when you can’t even improve and update your internet which is the sole reason you have a company????? I’m confused as to what the priorities of this app are. Can you please share with everyone what exactly is so important that you can’t even release updates when a new phone update is released?

Chipher mismatch. I purchased the Puffin iOS app for my iPad Pro because of Puffin’s supposed ability to issue a desktop request to a web site. With Puffin set to request a desktop session, Flickr still will only redirect to the Flickr iOS app which does not support Flickr album organize. Ok so I’m disappointed. Let’s check out the heralded blazing speed, perhaps my Puffin purchase was not a complete waste of my money. However, when my own https web page which loads on every browser and on every platform I’ve ever tried gives me a cipher error with the Puffin browser and refuses to load I knew I had completely wasted $5.00.

My favorite browser for years! :-). I have loved, enjoyed, used and appreciated Puffin browser for a number of years now, ever since I first downloaded it. I have also recommended it to others. It makes me very sad that it is going to be discontinued. But I wanted to let the people who worked so hard on it know that you do have many people who value your browser very much and will miss it greatly. I have no idea which direction to go in to find something similar. Before Puffin finally leaves, or afterwards, it would be great if some options could be recommended that would be somewhat similar. Please update!. Puffin is still the only browser that lets you access the web from mobile as if you were on desktop. Totally indispensable for some websites on the go. I bought pro to support you guys, I just wish you would give your fans an update after a year with no peep from the devs! Would love WebGL support. Keep up the good work, I hope the app hasn’t been mothballed.

Massive Letdown. Against my better judgement, I decided to give this app a chance. There were some old flash games that I really wanted to play again and I was hoping this app would allow me to do just that. So, despite the low ratings on the App Store, I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, and probably to no surprise, I was very much disappointed. The app lasts maybe 5 minutes max before it crashes. Making it literally impossible to do anything. Let alone playing my old favorite flash games. I really hope the dev team has an update planned REALLY soon cuz this app desperately needs one. Until a new update is released however, I suggest you all do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere for flash game content. Cuz this app is absolutely not the one.

You guys are killing me (the reviewers). Understand that this is an EXPERIMENTAL APPLICATION and probably shouldn't replace your default browser. You need a DECENT INTERNET CONNECTION TO STREAM CONTENT. People are getting errors I've never heard of, probably due to poor networking. My only complaint is the random reloading when pages are idle (or seem idle, and when they reload you loose what you were typing). Anyway great app for those who understand it. Old Review: "Puffin can be put back together again" As of version 5.1.1, I can say you guys have done the correct thing this time. Performance is MUCH faster, in fact, FINALLY FASTER THAN PUFFIN 4.X. The new mouse pointer is amazingly sleek and works well when you get used to it. Network cutouts are rare for me now. And you thankfully removed the "bottom bar experiment" (which took up craploads of space) so it's practical to use. Thanks for the positive update. I can finally make this my primary browser again.

Good app but needs fixing!. I do actually like that you got rid of the full screen function and instead now all videos can be made full screen by clicking the full screen icon on the actual video. However when I am watching videos the sound sometimes goes away so that's one thing you need to fix. Another thing is that if the iPhone locks when I am watching something, if I go back to it, it always has to restart the page which is annoying. Apart from that it is a great app so thanks!

Save your cash. There is no visible differences between the free puffin and the $5.99 one except that you can have themes. I wish you could get your money back but oh well.. other than that the ability to sync between browsers ie ipad to iphone would be fantastic. Best browser out there, unbelievably fast

Keeps crashing. This use to be so smooth and it had absolutely no problems now it’s plagued with glitches, it’s not as fast as it use to be, it not as smooth as it use to be, and now everything every time I change tabs I go back to t and I have it reload it because it somehow gets rid of what was on the tab Pls fix this

iPhone X full screen. Please provide an update full screen for iPhone X

The more I use it the more I love it.. I LOVE being able to work with my iPad the same way I do with my PC thanks to this app. I'm no longer limited by the functionality of apps such as LinkedIn, eBay, Facebook etc. I can just log into them with Puffin Browser and use them the same way I do on the PC. For example I created the bookmarklet for Instapaper in Puffin and can save articles to read later from LinkedIn (and anywhere else I like) where I can't do that from the LinkedIn app. I can access flash games directly in Facebook and claim 'gift links' where I can't do that with just the Facebook app. That's only two examples from many benefits. It took me a little while to learn how to use it properly but now I wouldn't be without it. Thank you to the developer.

Crashes aside, overall amazing application, recommend to all movie lovers!!!!!. This is a great application, other than its crashes on occasion, it is an overall amazing application and I rate it 10/10. Recommend to all movie lovers that want to watch their favourite TV show on their phone or either iPad, I use my iPad for my TV shows and it works incredibly! I didn't waste my money and I have no regrets! You can't get better than this application, all others are shocking, I've tried them! Puffin is the best Flash Player app I've had! Please read before buying. Ok this app does what it says it does,and it does it decently! but not good. It's choppy to say the least, simple flash games (a long way from graphic intense) will hardly play. Don't get me wrong it's ok but not worth my time. The text on web sites is also a lot less crisp than on safari. I was fairly disappointed. But it does do the job just not as we'll as advertised. I don't usual review apps but I felt like I had to. Not Flash. Why do I have to refresh the page up to 6 times to activate the flash feature when using live chat?

Does its main function.. The browser does what it says. It allows for flash based web applications to properly function on an IOS device and uses a proxy that allows for the secure connection to websites. Due to the new update, there are still some bugs here and there. For example, I cannot access my settings without the application crashing. Although I personally prefer the old interface, I still welcome the newer, cleaner look to the application. It is important to remember that bugs are inevitable when a new version of an application is released. I personally would like to see an ad-blocking feature as I know a lot of people would prefer to see in future updates.

This Web Browser is top~standard!. This browser has the ability to watch and play flash games, and is lighting fast against the likes of Opera Mini, Google Chrome for a mobile browser this actually is nearly perfect! however I wonder... And possibly suggest. Does this app have the function of using less data and or the ability to lower image detail and or off. Then this will turn me off Opera Mini which I use for cellular data web browsing and use this exceptional browser! Keep going guys! :D

Flash. Why isn't the flash working properly

Good except...... Good app when it works - frustrating when the video reel decides it's overworked for a day and then decides to work again at a later date. It has nothing to do with compatibility as can be watching something in full screen mode then the app crashes and full screen won't work after the crash. Please fix this!!!! Also frustrating when you send a email for so called support and no one responds ... ever. Picked this app for speeds which are great but mainly for the full screen option so please fix

Fix to all your problems. Many people have commented that it's crashing when they try to open it, the fix is to go into settings and go to the puffin app and switch all the toggles on. You may encounter crashing as you have downloaded a video and it hasn't finished downloading. Your welcome 👍🏻☺️

No rotation lock but a great browser. Dear Puffin developers, it has been great to see Puffin improved over the years. However - can you please include a screen rotation lock? Sometimes I would like to lock the screen horizontally and this is not natively possible on iPhones now that Apple has removed the capability from its accessibility button. But you could make it possible from your settings page. Could you please add this feature? Also, in the past couple of weeks, Puffin seems to be slow and getting stuck. Maybe it's the time of the year or some other glitchiness but if you could investigate this, I'd appreciate it.

Does not play well with Facebook. Pretty good browser for my purposes, but for some reason super buggy and unresponsive when using Facebook. Typing is an exercise in frustration: space key often doesn't register, autocorrect doesn't function at all. Finger taps almost always click outside of where I actually touch, so I am constantly having to back out and click again. Why the hell is it only like that on Facebook?? I'm running an older iOS and can no longer use the Facebook app, so this was to be my main use for this browser. Kinda bummed it doesn't do the one thing I want it to. Especially as it works so well on almost every other site.

Good job. You guys fixed a lot of the issues I faced especially the delay in browsing, and the reason I give it 4 stars because when I run a flash video I noticed 2 things: 1. Some delay in loading flash video 2. Some uncomfortable unmatched between motion and sound. Other than that you've done a great job and I believe it beats all the other apps that trying to run flash, well done. And I believe I'm gonna see more improvement from you. Update flash?. Sometimes the flash things won't show the same as PC, not sure if it's ur optimisation or out of date flash. Just so uno. Why the Complaints? My Fav App !!!!. This has to be the best app in the entire store. The only short fall on the iPad was the lack of flash support. This puffin has made my iPad my most used device, my MacBook Pro 15" retina sits on my desk in its case now that I have puffin and can watch ANY FLASH video and I have no idea why anyone claims it crashes, it has Never Ever crashed or let me down. Dont believe me go get the free version and check it out. You will like it as much as I did and will want to give credit to the programmers and purchase it just as I have... Do not hesitate GET PUFFIN YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!

A Little Gem of a Browser. When preparing to go overseas I purchased a traveller's card but quickly discovered that I needed Flash to use the web site for transferring currencies etc. After some searching I came across Puffin and was delighted to see that it worked perfectly. I found it a little slower than Safari on my iPad but kept it for the flash functionality. After downloading the latest version 3 I must say that it now is my preferred browser. It may still be a little slower than Safari on some pages but its added extras and flash support make it more useful. Having quick access to adding such as Pocket and Readability were a nice touch and quick practical. The ability to download to dropbox made it even more useful. I wish Apple would allow you to select a default browser other than Safari as I would choose Puffin. I also would love to see Puffin have a bookmark import feature that copies your bookmarks over from Safari. Great job and getting better.

Puffin to the rescue!!!. I idiotically went travelling with only Apple devices. I didn't realise at the time but the rechargeable debit cards I bought to use internationally could only be monitored via websites with Flash. The Puffin browser SAVED ME!!! I was able to stay on top of my finances without needing to go to an Internet cafe or the such. I haven't really used it for any other sites but it worked brilliantly for what I needed so I will love it forever. Thank you, Puffin!!

Exactly what I wanted :). Ok so I read the reviews first and was a little worried.. I downloaded it anyway and it does exactly what I needed. It's fast, it plays videos and plays all my favorite flash games. Has an option to use a mouse instead of completely touch screen. It keeps me logged into my websites if I exit without logging out and it hasn't even crashed :) Well not just yet anyway. Easily 5/5 from me.

Works well and enables my studies. This is a pretty good browser that works fairly smoothly. It works by fetching your requested website data for processing on a flash server and sending that processed data to your device. It's not the greatest for games and videos (because of jitter) but it has enabled me to view my Cisco notes. For this function, it is a good price and has saved me a lot of hassle.

Great app, for a bit!. I don't recommend anyone pay for this app until it is fixed. Was great when I first purchased it and did everything as advertised, I loved it. However over time became slower and slower until even a low quality video couldn't be played with being extremely slow/choppy to the point of being unwatchable. I have to click on something 20 times and then a minute later all 20 clicks will register. Very frustrating. I hear a lot of people saying they don't understand the complaints so perhaps it isn't for everyone, but safari and similar browsing apps function normally so I can't blame my device or connection. I know I'm not alone so something to consider before paying for the full version.

Update. This app needs regular updates, it’s been 2 years since the last update. It needs a performance and speed update.

So handy. Puffin has been surprisingly great, it is the browser I now use the most. For me it fast, faster than Google and Safari however the key is watching Flash video. It does occasionally crash, but this seems to rarely happen now. The home page is nice, customize it and large buttons to get quickly to bookmarks or visited page. On the home page they could make and improvement with the font, looks super cheap. I don't usually write reviews.

Bring back the old version!. New version, yes it is sleek and simple however I prefer the old version. The old version had the side menu which had easy access to the features such as theatre mode which does NOT have in the new version. I am quite sad that theres no more theatre mode because it was easy for me to watch videos using it. Also, you cannot change the theme colour since white is a bit bright for me. Once again, I prefer that you are able to have an option of continuing on browsing with the old format or, bring back the features from the old version.

Not optimised for iPad Pro 12.9. To start let me just say this browser is fantastic, flash is a little slow but I can live with that but not being optimised for the 12.9 iPad Pro is why I can only give 4 stars. Button clicks on the 12.9 are not where they are supposed to be leaving me to guess where to tap especially in a game like Forge of Empires for example, it works perfectly on iPhone however. Optimise the iPad Pro 12.9 and I will definitely give 5 stars.

Frozen every time using the app. The browser itself works great - when it's working. However , on my iPhone 6 , it freezes every time I open it , it takes about 10-20 seconds before it response to any of my gestures ... I tried to reinstalled it, same issue still exists , I'm not sure if this is happening to anyone else as well or just me . I hope puffin team can fix this issue in the next update :) coz I really like this browser , and I will rise it to 5 starts when the issues are solved :) thank you !

Keeps Crashing. I bought this map not so long ago and it keeps crashing on IOS 10. It even goes to a point where this browser causes my iphone to crash until the battery is dead. There is no support on what to do when crashes happen if you were to go to their support website which is really disappointing when you're paying a premium and it so happens that it lacks support.

Almost perfect. Well all I can say is almost perfect for what I need! I own a website that has a flash based video chat and this is the only app that claims to run flash that works! Well to 99% you can not access the webcam on your iPad or iPhone but everything else works so you can watch other people's videos. That in itself is awesome as I have not found a better chat software for the price and now so many users use tablets at home I needed it to work on apple devices. Thanks to puffin we are all happy. If it was possible to access the iPad camera it would get 1000 stars from me.

Long time user dropped from 5 stars to 3. I started with the free version (now discontinued) purchased paid version years ago as desktop view on mobile was very beneficial. But in the last few weeks desktop reverts to a mobile view only. Disappointing and hopefully this gets fixed. Seems anything good never lasts anymore. In all honesty the ‘desktop view’ is the main attraction to myself. Sadly now that’s not working and reverts to mobile view. It’s just like any others available and I wouldn’t have purchased this awesome app that lacks now 😢

Great App. For the most part this app is great. I really enjoy all of its features and it makes my iPad a lot more enjoyable mainly due to the addition of a flash player. However because the app works so well when all of its features are in harmony I often become frustrated when something lags or doesn't function at all. Specially the full screen mode. The full screen mode makes watching videos on the flash player even better but when it doesn't work the video often lag and not worth watching. Hopefully an update that ensures the full screen option is available with all videos in well on its way.

Mixed Feelings. I purchased this browser specifically so I could play flash based video content for work. I can’t seem to log into Boardmaker to access the content that I need. Have also just found out that Puffin was to be discontinued in July 2019, so not sure why it is still available for purchase. That being said, it loads sites quickly and is easy to use.

They’ve ruined it. This new redesign has made puffin browser look like every other generic browser in the app store. they’ve removed the beautiful options for themes and colours as well as a number of other great features...

Doesn’t work at all. The browser does not work at all for me anymore. It can’t run any flash games whatsoever. It’s incredibly laggy and glitchy and just can’t work. It used to however. It used to be able to run all my flash games but now it can't and I don’t know why, it really sucks.

Videos play with no sound. Looks like it's no longer maintained. I think it's time to find another solution.

Problems. Later: Problems fixed! Later still, new problems. June 2019 For months, year? This hasn’t worked with the website wowescape and another one. Used to work with it fine. Now none of the games on that website will work. I read somewhere that this app needs updating so it can interact with their servers. Some other game websites it works well with. Here’s the thing this was $5 in 2015. Sometime in 2018 it stopped being fully functional. So for five dollars I got to “rent“ it for three years? Pulling crap like this is bad for the App Store. It makes people disinclined to pay more than a nominal fee for an app if apps have an expiration date. Update May 2016 Originally gave this one star and didn't recommend it. But now I do! I'm not using it for sumo paint anymore which might make a difference. I'm using it to play flash games on free game websites. Note: I'm only playing room escape games, and some animated jigsaw puzzles. Not ones with a lot of fast movement. But now it's great and I do recommend it. Also they keep updating it and making improvements.😊 I got this, for over 5 bucks, to use sumo paint which is a free online painting app that's like Photoshop. It's great. Requires flash. When this browser works it's fantastic. But a lot of the time you go to turn it on and it says connecting with the little turn-y icon and it just won't connect. Tells you to come back later. We're not talking about a like five minute delay. I do not recommend buying this.

Hard to believe. In this day and age it’s hard to believe that a browser app doesn’t resize windows so they fit the screen of whatever device you are using?? I bought this expressly to be able to check my work schedule on a flash dependent software but am very disappointed.

Help!. The button to reactivate the sound on YouTube won’t stop disappearing So now when i click a video and try to turn on the volume i can’t. I bought this app sorely to listen to youtube while listening to music!

Mostly working. Since the data move it’s mostly working, however there is no way to turn off “safe search” functions. The buttons are still there however they don’t actually work. I am an adult if I choose to turn off safe search I accept the results even if I find thing’s I don’t like. If this doesn’t improve soon I am adult enough to find another web browser for my needs.

Stupid. Not what it used to be at all. Still works good for lots of things, but won’t work on a public network without a VPN. Why tf do I need to use a VPN? So now that my VPN doesn’t work and I’m stuck using a public network, this app is useless.

Broken!. I was currently in the process of starting a tag duel on Duelling Book when all of a sudden I lost connection for no apparent reason, and to make matters worse it's slowing down to high hell when I tried to refresh the page and by the time it was done loading, it said it's still lost it's connection! If nobody gets to fixing this ASAP, then they should prepare for the worst!!! X(

Fastest browser. Nothing beats how fast this browser loads pages. Faster than safari!

Doesn’t connect to internet. Because my phone doesn’t have puffin web browser free, I had to pay for this version and it’s not even working. It worked for about a week and now it says I can’t connect to the internet and I feel like I just wasted my money. I liked it while it did work, but even after deleting and reinstalling the app it refuses to connect to the wifi.

It used to work well, abandoned by devs.. It used to be my goto browser, but since it’s last update was 2 years ago, December of 2017, this browser constantly crashes and freezes.

Sad that Apple has been a jerk about this great product.. Puffin was always my favourite browser on my iPhone. Now, it crashes repeatedly, freezes up, and some sites (Twitter, eg.) will not function, or won’t function in “desktop” format, and when it does, video and images are missing. It is, of course, the same with a number of my favourite photo/art editing apps. And it isn’t the fault of the Puffin developers. So frustrating to be denied the full use of the best browser for iPhone...

Lack of updates. Appears to have been abandoned by the dev has not got any updates in years and will is almost un useable in iOS 13

Crashed on me. I was playing my Facebook game ghost tales on it and now all of a sudden it will not play it. It says it is not able to work on my phone when I was using it earlier that day so not sure what changed from the morning when using it to the afternoon when it would not even load.

Bypasses all content restrictions in ScreenTime. This is an app that doesn’t follow the Apple ScreenTime content restrictions. Parents, I would recommend setting the daily limit to 1 Minute for this app and the other CloudMosa apps until this issue is fixed.

Give me back my money. Only downloaded this browser so I could try and see a flash cartoon on deviantart. But the deviantart site isn’t compatible with your browser and doesn’t work. Give me back my money your browser doesn’t even have the features it promises. Don’t waste your money on this garbage app.

App keeps crashing. Right now this app has become worse than what it used to be. I don’t remember it crashing once when I used to use before your update 3 months ago now each time I go in it and click on settings to change lay out on gamepad or click keyboard the app crashes every time and it gets annoying I’ll be asking for a refund on this

Bring back the hiding navigation bar. A few versions ago, the navigation bar would move out of the way when you zoomed in on a page. This feature was awesome! Please bring it back!!!!! I can not watch videos Using LTE Data. I can not believe this browser used to be the best until I noticed that suddenly I can not watch videos anymore when I am connected to LTE data in an iPhone but everything works Fine when the phone is connected to a wifi the problem is only connected to LTE data the message is an error occurred please try again later my question is what is the solution?

Great little browser. This is my go to browser since it is very, very quick. Unfortunately, it has been stopped being updated since Apple has blocked the developers from updating the app via the App Store. Really a shame as I used Puffin when I needed to condense the feed size.

Messed up game screen. Brand new update caused my full screen on flash games to be all wonkey. All moved to the left and cut off. Hellllp! I will return 5 stars if fixed again. Thanks Issue was resolved successfully!! Thanks! GREAT BROWSER....very good customer service.

Worth every penny. I mainly use Puffin on my incredibly old iPad 2. iOS 9 is incredibly slow on the iPad 2, to the point where it's insufferable to browse the web using Safari. Puffin makes that problem virtually non-existent. It also plays Flash games and videos. I wholeheartedly recommend this app.

Update needed. A blazing fast web browser I've used so far. However, update is needed for improved compatibility with iOS 11. Also I think it's fair to mention that the cloud based Puffin Browser has been officially blocked in China, Iran and a few other countries, and that it would be impossible to use it without VPN.

Love this app.. I love this app. It allows me to be able to do things on the internet on my iPad and iPhone that I can't do running Safari on my iPad and iPhone. Such as view content on the Internet that requires flash player and play online games. One issue I have with this app is it has not been updated in 2017. Please update this app again and regularly update it.

Too bad. I like the Puffin Browser but the auto play video ads I can not hang with! Also if you pay $3.99 for an app shouldn’t it not have ads? Really disappointed I spent $4 on this. Used to be incredible. I used to use this app all the time when I wanted to use the desktop version of certain websites. After Puffin was forced to become a paid app, I bought it, but it is nowhere near as good as it used to be. A lot of websites don’t even load anymore and it’s so frustrating. I hope the problems with this app can be fixed soon, because I really did love using it.

Rest In Peace. This was the only browser on iOS that fit my needs. Since services shut down, I have still not been able to find an adequate replacement.

Really good but. The browser and its tools are more that worth it. Unfortunately it seems to be in need of an update browser wise however. Sites seem to detect its browser as an older version of chrome. Puffin team please fix this!

This used to be a decent app. Not gonna lie, I really loved this app, and I used it even more than Safari. But this long string of terrible updates has now rendered the app nearly unusable. Seriously, it crashes every single time I try to check the progress of a download. Nice job, guys. You really improved your app. Update: Now it's even better. Instead of crashing when I check a download, it crashes as soon as I open it. What a fan-freaking-tastic dev we have here.

I want a refund :(. I bought it in the hopes of being able to use websites that require flash, as I have been recommended to do by multiple sites. There are some online games I want to play that require flash and don’t have any apps. I have an iPad Air and now with the Coronavirus I will be doing classes online and some websites and links require flash. When I got on, it still didn’t work/told me they only function on pc. Looks like I spent $5 for nothing...

Well worth it. Ive ready every single bad review so far. I've had this app for about a year now an haven't gotten issues that everyone is stating such as I can't use it if I'm on lte or keeps crashing when i open the app or their is no sound at all. Every thing works well as its suppose to work for me.

Problem. I have been using this app for long time and I prefer it then the other Browser apps but now I can’t use it without VPN when ever i open any page it keeps saying “no network” how can i fix this

New update, very proud. I’m so happy that you guys have stayed and that you can finally at least roll out this update. Even with all of the bugs and crashes I have experienced, I have thoroughly enjoyed using this app. Keep up the work!

Love it, but a year without update. I love puffing, is having a real browser on my iPad/iPhone but, the cloud to cloud download is broke; I know they drop support from Dropbox and recommend google drive, guess what, It doesn’t work. No sing in/out option. At lest still work for the other thing. I’m waiting for an update. Maybe the windows version is taking the more time than expected. Focus on your paid costumers please.

Best app i have found. Best app I have found to run my facebook games. No lagging. Works just like running on my lap top. What is wrong with apple not allowing Puffin to be supported anymore? Not only can you play games but can browse easily and quickly. I LOVE this app

Love this browser 💯. Keep this browser going FOREVER!!! I’ve been using this on my iPad for the last 5 years or so for my flash player game. I don’t want to find an alternative. I paid for this one and am happy with it. I learned its quirks and they’ll all have them especially when not supported!

Flash support for the win!. Hooray, my favorite flash based Facebook game functions just as well on pro as it did on the now discontinued free version. Thank you for keeping this one running for iPad users like me. Well worth the price.

Apple vs Cloudmosa. It’s ridiculous that we’re losing a wonderful browser because Apple wants to dominate and dictate what developers can and cannot do in the App Store in the name of protecting a superior experience with Apple products. It’s thinly veiled monopolistic bullying on Apple’s part. Surely Cloudmosa can come up with another solution to this impasse short of shutting down the entire Puffin browser. Once again the customer looses.

Lacks private mod. Hmm, the app rating is 3 stars only, yet, 9 of the first 10 reviews are 4 or 5 star reviews. Makes me wonder how many more reviews are hidden.? My number one complain is that it lacks private more. I am tired of having my personal information, browsing history, and as much information they can collect collected and sold. For me, any app, developer, or business that do not take my privacy serious, does not deserve my businesses.

Fantastic!. If you know what you're looking for, this is it. (It's not just any ordinary browser). Not only does it create a perfect desktop experience on the phone, its proxy-like service speeds up everything you want to access. (And it can even break censorship, ahem.)

Fastest browser on 2g, marketing flaw. This browser is very fast. This browser should be marketed towards users who have to use 2g a lot because of data overage or are in "safety mode". Website loading speeds on 2g are comparable if not the same as my 4g speeds saving me 100 dollars a month from an unlimited data plan.

I want a refund! 😡. I wanted to get back into a game I used to play in the past, Animal Jam. I heard that you can download puffin to play it on mobile devices since I don’t have a computer at the time. Tried it and apparently aj has moved to a download and not a browser. I’m mad. Waisted 5 dollars. If your gonna download this to play ajpc, don’t. It doesn’t work. I want a refund or a way to play ajpc again.

AWESOME APP HOPE IT STAYS AROUND. I really enjoy this app and works great for everything we need for work. If this app stays around we have 28 more employees to switch over to iOS and use this app. We are in the process of making some huge changes and this app will be part of it and make it happen. We will run the whole company on iPads

I love this freaking app. So far it's the best app for me it works perfectly fine for other people might be just network problems but for me I've been using it for 2 years and it works perfectly

IT STOPPED WORKING. So I don’t really write reviews because usually I think the devs probably knew already but.... it stopped working like nothing is coming up not even the news feed also, when I try putting something in the search bar like google it won’t even load. After last update - it has made this browser slow and not work .. I loved this browser but lately when I use it. It loads up great but when I need to click on something on a website it just shows that I clicked on it with a one circle but will not open what I have clicked on ... it use to work GREAT .. now it doesn't work at all .. I even closed everything and tried again . SAME THING . Please !!! FIX THIS BUG !!!

Much better.. So far, the app is much better now. However, websites randomly reload oftentimes. Please fix this bug ASAP. Update: I'm commenting in 2019 now. So far, I haven't run into any of the reloading issues since I first posted this review two years ago. On the other hand, this app certainly needs to be updated, since some websites are too new for this app.

Good until new iPad Pro 11 inch 2018. I have had puffin on my iPad Air 2 for 2 and a half years now. It’s ran perfectly fine, recently I got the latest iPad Pro 11 inch. About every other day I have to delete the app and reinstall it because it would crash when I opened it.

A bit glitchy. Ok, so ive been using puffin to play animal jam for the past 3 years. Works pretty good until today. Whenever i try to play, i see the coding commands and it does not allow me to do anything. Ive tried refreshing and turning my device off and on, but the glitch persists. I'm not sure if any other people have had this problem.

Bring back the forward button and extensions. While the somewhat recent redesign does make Puffin look much cleaner, it's also sacrificed some of its functionality. First off, there's no forward button outside of landscape mode. Why? Pretty much any other mobile browser I can think of has a forward button in portrait mode, even older versions of Puffin had this. Why remove it? Next, there's the extensions. Puffin used to have great extensions, like a Google Translate extension and such. Now they're gone. Puffin is still the best browser for desktop mode and Flash, but what's with the removal of essential features like a simple forward button?

Think Twice. i personally got this app to make episode stories on mobile... for 5.00$. not the best thing i spent my money on.. you can only make episode stories on pc, laptops, ect. so i was really excited to get this app.. it was not letting me log in, it wouldn’t let me make stories alone.. hope you can fix this bug or if you took it off of something you can do, can you put back?? it really is a good desktop mode though.. it may be better and a good use for other things but not this! please make changes!!

It’s regressed. There needs to be work done. There’s constant issues with crashing, and sometimes it’ll just completely close in the middle of browsing and when I bring it up, the tab I was in is gone. This browser was great once upon a time but there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. This is sad and I regret paying money for it right now.

Like it a lot. Few requests.. I like most everything about this app, but have a few wants when it comes to downloads: 1. Can you add saving to OneDrive as an option? 2. I’ve had issues saving .rar files to local storage and having access to them. I tap the download and nothing happens. Usually I want access to the file so I can transfer it to a file management app such as File Explorer. This then lets me transfer a file to my NAS. Adding a Share option to downloads would be a major help for me. 3. Can we get iPhone X support? That would be great too. Keep up the great work.

Minor fix. It's great and all, good to use if you wanna watch a movie, but it keeps randomly freezing and replaying 10 seconds ahead which makes it hard to watch videos on the internet. Other than that everything is great.

Always have enjoyed this app!. App is great! couple of bugs that I have noticed -constant reloading on idle pages -biggest nuisance would be; At time when I am using arrow keys to navigate through text i.e. Email typing and error correcting I get different and very odd reactions every time. Including loss of keyboard useage, indicator disappears, text not entering in correct location.

Love Puffin. Please don’t leave IOS. This is the ONLY browser I use to play the games I love with flash. PLEASE find away to stay on IOS. Apple, please let Puffin use this browser and update it. Without Puffin I will leave Apple products and go elsewhere. This browser is one of the main reason I have kept buying iPads.

Bad Apple. This app is still great, but it used to be THE best browser for iOS. It’s still better than safari despite not being updated for two years. Too bad apple saw it as a threat. Without updates this app has trouble with websites that require the newest version of flash. Great app worth the money.

Having Puffin open stops Music Playback. Very odd behavior going on. Having Puffin open stops Music playback on my device. Thought it might be some tabs/sites I had open so I closed them all, but it is still happening. I even try resuming playback via control center but soon as I go back to the app Music playback stops again. There is no Contact Us/Feedback feature in the app so here I am. Please fix this problem, thanks!

Thoughtless Update. Why would the developers create a premium application and totally cut off the original one without giving users the option to simply upgrade and keep their bookmarks and open tabs???!!!??? That was the first I’d ever experienced of that and I was really reluctant to even support a company that would do something so thoughtless. Please don’t do that again. Thank you.

Puffin crashes. That’s right the app crashes, freezes and also does whatever it wants, whenever it wants. I’ve noticed if I have multiple windows and multiple Apps it does horribly! I must say when running one window, and having all other app cleared from recently used apps it is pretty quick. I use my phone to multitask in this day and age of information overload! I would like a refund not with it 👎🏾
