Great app and I use it daily. I have 5 Bible study apps and this is my go to app. I have to use other apps for grammar but ai love how easy it is to use. I am so happy they got this app up for IOS 11

My Favorite Reference Tool. I love looking up verses and digging deep quickly with this simple, it excellent, Strong's Concordance app! It is an invaluable aid for me in daily Bible study.

Used to be great, but needs updates. I have used this app every day for years. Since the latest iPhone update, it keeps crashing. If you click on ANY function from the main text, the app just closes. Bummer! I hope it gets an update soon. For now, I had to delete and find something else.

FYI from Apple:. After downloading iOS 10.2 I'm getting a message from Apple I thought you should know about which states your developers need to update the App. (Sounds like by the next Apple update, my Strong's App may no longer be compatible, and it's the App I use the most.) Search box missing. when using the the search feature the box is not visible until you type something and hit search. Also there’s no way to cancel out of screen with out searching. Or close app.

Developers need to update. This app will no longer work when Apple upgrades to IOS 11. Please update so we can continue to use it. Thank you.

Love This APP!. I would be lost without this program. For studying the Bible, this is the best and easiest program in which to navigate. I’ve tried others and deleted them. Have been using this program for at least 10 years! LOVE IT!!!

Not a good app. Hard to work around, I am only getting the Hebrew definition up, and am wanting the Greek definition. Cannot figure out have tried multiple words. Could be me but believe it is the app. Went to settings. And nothing def not worth $5 totally could have went to the used Bible book store and found something much better then this app.

One wish.... I love this app for many reasons. However, I wish there were an option to remove all the italic "added in words." That would help greatly with my studies.

Not Working. This application used to work perfectly but now it’s not. You can not perform searches. The search box does not appear and the keyboard only appears once and never again to perform another search.

Broken. I can no longer use this app, either on my iPad or phone. After opening a scripture, anytime I click on a word the app closes. It does the same when I attempt to click the concordance button. I have used this app for years and am disappointed that I won’t be able to continue. I have tried deleting and reloading the app. It needs a fix.

Genesis 4:22. I found an error. Genesis 4:22 Tubal-cain is not in search. Surprised me as I haven’t discovered mistakes. I hope I don’t find more... but if I do, I will let you know.

Thank you for updating for iOS 11. Thank you for updating for iOS 11. It had been some years since you updated, and I thought when iOS 11 arrived, that I would not be able to use the app. That’s what Apple was sending warnings about. Today, after updating to iOS 11, I was delighted to see that you did update the app. Haven’t done much other than a quick check today, but seems to be working fine.

Strong’s Concordance. I have used this app everyday for many years and heartily recommend it. . .however, I can’t give it 5 stars because of a few (although relatively insignificant) issues with the app. The only one worth mentioning is the difficulty in using the “Search” feature. It has NEVER been easy or “user-friendly.” It only seems to work part of the time; and a SMALL part of the time at that. Unlike other apps I’ve purchased or gotten free, there has never been an update to the app to allow for changes in iPad or iPhone updates.

Update Please. IOS for iPhone needs an update. I I've noticed glitches for 3-4 months now. Since I paid for this app you should keep it updated. Thank you

Fast and Easy to use. I always use this app to study my Bible. It is so easy to toggle between the text and the word definitions. I’ve been using this app for years. Highly recommended

What happened to the search bar?. I love this app and have been using it for years. The search box has disappeared. When typing the word, you can’t see what you are typing. Can you fix this? Keep up the good work!

Good app overall. I like this app, but I can't figure out why they can't fix the problem with the bad cites. This glitch has been around for several updates and has still not been fixed. They do include the correct reference as well, but they have not removed the bad ones. The current situation would be fine as a short term work around, but not as a permanent fix. I sometimes find it easier to go to eSword.

Go-To App for Bible Study. If you could only have one app for Bible study, this one would be it. It not only helps you understand the meaning of the specific words, but also the shades of meaning as the word is used in other verses. Then it gives a list of the verses where the word is used, for quick comparison. One suggestion I would make for the developers: in the next release, include an “About” or information icon, that briefly explains how to navigate in the app and the meaning of the symbols used, such as what the X means in the Concordance section.

Great! Please add.... I really like the app. I would like to see the numbers in the definitions (like "from 570") to be clickable so you can follow through. Also reverse search by strong's number. Also a "back" option for history to previous strong's lookups and for previously read passages. Copy and paste would be great too, for those of us that write bible studies. Otherwise, great job!! UPDATE: Getting ready to write a request and I see that almost everything I requested is now a function that I regularly and instinctively enjoy! Thanks!! One thing that I seem to remember, but has changed of late, is that when performing a search, the screen used to go straight to the searched verse, but now, it jumps to the correct chapter, but to verse 1. Is that a glitch?

Used to love it. I used this app for many years until it just stopped working. Any word I touch to look up closes the app. When I try to go to settings, it closes the app. Super disappointing! There is no way to contact the app owners because everything I touch in the app closes it. Yes, I have deleted and reinstalled at least 3 times. Super unhappy.

New database still unusable.. Latest update works ONLY IF the "classic" database is used, i.e. it's like the pre-version 3.0 version. New database is still useless: 1. Tapping a word STILL returns the wrong Greek in many cases. Tap on "nations" in Matt 28:19 and the wrong Greek word comes up. This happens for *many* words. 2. VERY sluggish performance. Screen says "Loading..." at the bottom for a long time, while the whole app is frozen. This happens every time a word is selected. 3. Individual words are no longer selectable in many cases; tapping a word selects a whole phrase.

I love this app. Please update it.. I've found this to be a very useful app. The fact that I can click on a word and go straight to the Greek or Hebrew is so convenient. Please update it for newer versions of iOS.

Don’t bother. I have used this app for many, many years. It WAS fantastic. But then all of a sudden, the app started crashing. As soon as I tap on a word to search, the app shuts down. I wish they would do an update, but it’s been 5 years and nothing. It’s super disappointing because I have paid for this app TWICE.

No longer able to search the concordance. I don’t love this app any more. When I try to drill down to the concordance, the app closes and my “home” screen appears. As a Bible Study leader, I miss the convenience of using Strong’s on my iPhone 14. Please correct this. 🥲

Search word no longer working. I have had this app for YEARS and have always loved it. But recently I found that the wonderful search option is gone. The word search is still in the menu on the bottom, but if I tap it, only a gray screen pops up. The search was one of the most IMPORTANT FEATURE! And now it’s gone? I noticed the most recent reviews are 2 YEARS OLD? What’s going on?? I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, no change, still a gray page in the search. Everything else seems to work fine. I miss it. Please fix this problem. I paid for the premium, so what’s the deal?

UPDATE. I love my Strong's App...however, it would be a shame to not be able to use it after paying for the full version because it's not compatible to my iOS software. Please update your app so it will continue to be available to those of us who use it with Apple software.

Great Bible Study Essential. What an amazing blessing this free app is! So easy to navigate, and super user friendly. Never before has doing an in-depth word study been so accessible, functional and portable. (Especially after having to be confined to the massive Strongs book at home!)

Note from apple.... I keep getting a note from Apple saying this app needs to be updated, that it may no longer be compatible, that it may cause my phone to slow down or lock up. I tried sending a note through the help and settings but the email was denied?? Thought I'd let y'all know. Are use this app every day.

Stopped working. I’ve used this app frequently over the years, but recently there’s something wrong with the interface. The moment I click on the word for more information, or for the translation, the app closes, and I’m back on my home screen. I hope it is fixed soon.

Needs an update. Apple just notified me that my next upgrade will not allow this app to work at all. I love this app. Can you please update it??

Not 64-bit. This was a great tool to use in conjunction with the Bible app I have. Until, that is, I started beta testing iOS 11. Now it doesn't work at all. In other words, the app is 32-bit and needs to be updated to 64-bit so we can contune to use it. I know of a couple of games that aren't going to be updated. Hopefully this reference app isn't in that category.

Invaluable reference tool!. I am very pleased with Strong's concordance. I use it often to enhance my Bible study time.

Really???. I have become accustomed to using your app every time I study. Now with the update to IOS 11, I’m now stuck. It says you need to update your app to be used with IOS 11. Come on, I’ve known this update was coming since June. Please get it done or I will delete it and ask for a refund.

Bad Reviews. I use an IPad 3 and have had this app for several years now and haven't had a single problem. Maybe u guys need to replace your equipment.

Best Strong’s Concordance. I’ve used this app for close to 10 years and love it! I’ve tried the other apps because they seem to be more popular, but I keep coming back to this one. Ramsay version of the Strong’s Concordance.. This version is, for me the simplest and most straightforward. Highlighted words are have Strong’s reference. Bible is easy to read. Love it.

Everyday use!. I use this app more than most other apps along with my Bible app. Yes, It has a few glitches and is not always user friendly, but it beats thumbing through the actual 3” thick Strongs Concordance book! I am able to look things up in seconds and quickly find something I’ve been thinking of biblically. It helps me along my way and has revealed the things I’m searching for in-depth. Appreciate it!

Great App!. I use this app constantly when studying the Bible. For over a year I have never experienced a crash on iPhone or iPad. Works well at present (March 2014). Love it.

Strongs Concordance. Absolutely love this app. Easy to use and a bible study asset; however, removal of the pinch zoom feature has rendered this app useless for sight impaired individuals such as myself. I beg you, please return the pinch zoom feature so I may read God's Word. The largest font available in the settings is not large enough. I ask again, please return the pinch zoom feature.

Super easy to use!. I am thankful for this app. It has helped me garner and foster a better understanding of scripture. Sometimes I run into a word that is NOT available to look up in the app even though it seems to be a crucial word.

Good but.... Good app, pretty useful except "Palestine" doesn't exist neither ever did.

Strong's. There needs to be a feature where you can press on the Strong's number and it finds every passage in the scripture that uses that same number. This was an important piece of Strong's work. Search by number instead of by English word. In Strong's book, you can look up a number, and see every verse that uses that Greek/Hebrew word.

Works!. Works good on my IPad, after I use it a bit I'll update my review, I just downloaded it, and works very well so far, no complaints. I use OS 5.1

Frequent crashes. Horrible experience! No matter what I click on within the app it crashes!

Sight impaired. Great app. Use it at church, on the road, with my friends and family. But my eye sight is fading and the limited font enlargement is impairing my ability to use this app to its full potential and nurture my spirit. Used to work well, now won't load!!. This is an app I had willingly paid for, and had used well prior to the update. Now I am using iOS 5.0.1 and this won't even load especially on iPad. Please fix ASAP!!

Stuck on one word. I can't look up any words. It's stuck on "father". It will not change from that no matter what word you choose to look up.

Please make this update. Please give me the ability to turn off the animation when switching from bible to concordance. It is very slow for an entire screen animation. Add a switcher button in your settings menu to toggle animations on or off. Or atleast bump the transition down to .2 or .3 seconds. The slow animation will leach from some user experiences. I need this app to switch between bible and concordance fast, so thats why I got it. You may also consider using a popup window overlayed ontop of the bible for the concordance, rather than changing views. May turn out to be a better use of screen real estate on the iPad. It may also help some users stay focused on what they are reading. You could add another setting for this, allowing the user to toggle between new view, or overlay for concordance. One last thing of great importance. People will be buying this app who want to learn Hebrew. In your concordance area, under related items, add the actual hebrew word next to the referece number, that way lerners may compare related words with a glance of the eye rather than the switching of a screen. Great app by the way!

App doesn't open. I purchased the red letter upgrade and since that time the app will not open. I have deleted it and reinstalled it multiple times but it still doesn't open. I need help please!!

Impressive. I have Strong's exhaustive concordance in hardback form, and though this isn't *exhaustive* it has most of the important words catalogued and it's much, much easier than flipping back and forth through actual book. Just tap on the word and you're presented with the original word written in Hebrew or Greek, it's pronunciation, and the various meanings of the word. I emailed them to ask a question, and they got back to me quickly and they seem very knowledgable and courteous. And I really enjoyed the lite version, so I bought the full version and wrote this review even though I usually don't write reviews, I mostly just give star ratings. 5 stars, thanks Glen!

Terrible app. Just bought the full version. Constant crashes. On a word study, consistently takes me to the letter 'A'. Defines it as "Ho ho". Obviously someone's idea of a bad joke. Not worth the money at all.

There are no updates for the iOS operating system. I've tried to contact Orion and I'm getting messages back that my email will not go through and is undeliverable

Adam. In the book of gen It refers as Adam as all man kind. That is completely wrong. It’s speaking of the man Adam el ha Adam which is a specific being that was in the garden of eden this strongs concordance is a bad translation the kenights have had their hands in this one. The lord rebuke the! Amen

Errors in the text. I have found an error that needs to be corrected. In John 8:6 there are several words missing from this verse. Please correct this!

Doesn't work. In a regular strings you can look up any word and it will tell you where to find it. If this one does that, I can't figure out how to do it.

Pretty Good. I haven't used this app for too long but so far I am enjoying it. I did see in one of the previous review that someone was having trouble searching by the exact word. I do hope that the developers add this feature, but in the meantime I have found a workaround. If you search by phrase and include a space before and after the word it will only bring up search results for that particular word.

Very useful. Nothing can ever be as useful or thorough as Strong's exhaustive concordance of the Bible, which I recommend to every Christian, but this is a super convenient app! Perfect for traveling so you don't have to carry that big book around and gives you the ability to quickly look up text while you read. My only complaint would be that the app is not exhaustive and does not separate names as well as the book to help distinguish people with the same name. Thanks for putting this app together creators, I use it often!

Mr. Strongs concordance Could you please come up with an update my problem is when I search the word "raw" for example the app pulls 169 places that the word is found however the actuall amount of times the word raw is found is only 7 the search engine pulled every word with the letters "R A W" so maybe you could update the app with an "exact word" option for searching the bible Also if a word is listed more than once in a single verse it still says that there is only one occurrence of the word when there's actually two... I'm a bible college student and we have to search these words for class and find how many times the word appears in the bible and where at aswell. These to hindrances dropped my grade sufficiently on my last paper and it would be a big help have these fixed on the next update I USE THIS APP DAILY!!!

Definition. This worked much better before the upgrade. I would have given it a five back then. Sometimes now I still get the word Ho ho for many words.

Must have for any bible student. My strongs concordance at home is about 10 pounds and honestly is a pain to flip through to the right word. Try to take it with you on an airplane or a bus. There goes 10 pairs of clothes in weight. Tis is so much easier to take with me since I'm not leaving the iPad at home anyways. Finally the quality of this concordance is top notch. Easier to use than the paperback version and much faster. I'm just happy I thought to search for this thing. If you want a strongs concordance buy this one. If you have one already, buy this one too.

Sad situation!. When pay for something and it works, good thing. When an update is suppose to make it better, and it's not, bad thing. If you don't know what you're doing leave it alone especially when I paid for it. It now grabs more than the word that I choose to give me the meaning of one by choosing three words. I'm forced to use pocket sword. Get it together. Please!

Freezing Greek. After reading other reviews, I found I'm not the only one experiencing wrong Greek words coming up then freezing. I haven't downloaded the update yet, so not sure if it will change that. But the word "commandments" popping up as the article 'ho' seems to be a pretty important fix. Never-the-less, I absolutely love this app. This is the first glitch I've found and I use it pretty much every day. It's one of those tools that has allowed me to meditate on the Word wherever I am and gain greater insight into what God is speaking to me. Thank you!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!. I have to echo the laments if those before me: this app used to be incredibly useful, but now it is nearly useless. It often forces me to look up groups of words instead of a single word. Sometimes, when an article like "a" or "the" comes before the word I want defined, it actually gives me the definition for the article instead of the obviously more paramount word that follows the article. Also, it used to load instantly, but now it freezes almost every time. Please fix this quickly. This app is nearly unusable until then. Even if all that is done is to revert back to the original. If it isn't broken (which it wasn't), don't fix it. But now it is broken, so haste in fixing it would be mug appreciated.

Really Nice. This app is simple and straight forward. Very easy to navigate through and I also like the way the updated version shows you how the word can be used in different forms through the bible. For example "priest" might show up as officer or ruler with the same concordance number and it shows you how often the different words show up.

Having same problems as others. Program freezes, highlight several words at once, etc. etc.

An app I'm pleased with. Very useful. I've been able to type in up to four words and find verses with those four words compared to just one word at a time in the printed version. After using this app it's obvious it needs updating. From time to time ill find verses that contain a word that the app has missed. For example the word repent is in Matthew 3:2 but isn't listed when you search repent. Also possessed in Matthew 4:24 doesn't show up when searched.

App no longer working. The app no longer works. When I go to look up most words (more than 75% of the time) it freezes.

The app is bad. It started out good then it just has glitches in it all the time! Type in a word and you can’t see what you typed and it can even find the words now

Strong Concordance. I find this program to be extremely helpful in that one can see the meaning of the word and thus make the interpretation of the verse clearer. Many common words used today do not have the same meaning as they did during Bible days. I highly recommend this program for those who are serious students of the Bible. One will not have an excuse for not knowing the will of God for their life!

Outstanding App!!!!. I own the hard copy of the Strong's Concordance which I love and needed an electronic one for times when carrying the big one was not feasible and I was in the go. My expectations for accuracy an ease of use were exceeded by this app. I highly recommend it for those who truly study the scriptures and want to do it at anytime. Well worth the money!!!

Love it. I like the app, it's a little slow when you tap the blue words but it's great with all the references and definitions in one place. had the book firm of Strongs and you had to flip everywhere to find all the info you needed. One thing though, the description on iTunes you used the word every ware, I think you wanted everywhere. When your publishing an app for a concordance might want to make sure your description uses the right words. Otherwise, love the app.

No Meanings. This so called concordance only gives the Strong's number but without the meaning or Hebrew context. I am hoping I just don't know how to use the app yet or else this is A HUGE TO OFF!!!

Ephesians and more. Ephesians comes up blank. Jonah has two sets of verses in chapter 2. Do not like that I cannot click on a single word anymore. I know Greek and Hebrew and this is a tool that I can't use as well anymore. I know what you are trying to do concerning the parsing of verbs and things, but it doesn't work for me. It use to be so much better. I hope you can fix this soon. I used this tool during my study all the time but now I can't. Thanks so much for this app! I only rate it a 2 but it used to be a 5 for me.
