Bad kerning. While the app does what it says, the kerning is embarrassing. I captioned with a "PA" and the "A" was several pixels too far to the right which also made the centering appear wrong (it's as if the word width was calculated right but the A was just deposited wrong, or something). Please fix this! It makes us all look bad. :/

Great fun. Hot images in your photo album become stunning pieces of pop art a la Andy Warhol on roids. Very cute but for .99$ you only get the one scheme. Add more schemes and words for cooler posts. Great A quality app.

Thank goodness for this app. I absolutely love the app. It freaking looks amazing. Ps Steve jobs will always be missed if not for him we wouldn't be able to write these reviews because apple would not exist so thank u for every thing Steve RIP.

Fun. This is a really cool app. I've made tons of pictures. Sometimes when i try to select a picture the app quits. Please fix this and I will give it 5 stars.

very buggy and hard to use. This app seems very poorly designed. When I use it on my iPad 2, I get a strange bar along the bottom third of the display that blocks the text of the poster. Also every time I resize and zoom my image and click "done" the app zooms in and knocks the image off-center. Don't buy this app! I wish I hadn't I have no idea where all those positive reviews came from. This app is poor in all ways. Very disappointing!

Very limited. This app looked very interesting in the store-I love poster look. But it turned out to be a total waste!! It has very limited tools and 9 pre-set poster plates- not a great choice! Even if I use their" expert" tools which amount to only 3 sliders, the effects are horrendous. My guess is that unless someone has a very high contrast image, this app is completely worthless. Perhaps an update would help- it's long over due.

Can no save. I really like this app. The concern that I have is that Can not save what I create. I think that this should be fixed. Why not fix this so that you can a five star rating

Nice Posters. I wish there were more options, especially for the words, but it makes really nice posters. I have had it were the type option gets funny and I have to "reboot".

Needs an update!. The issue with the app, and my only qualm… update this app! We would like to see a little more touch up, with the UI. Maybe even add an option to resize the photo export to Facebook, or other social media platforms, so that we could have the image not chopped off in the post? Things like that…

Like don’t love. It works for making “hope” style photos but it crashes all the time.

Easy. Fun. Awesome.. I tried this happened a few photos and to my mazement it's awesome the filters on this app are amazing and it works just like it says. This is fun to use! especially if you're in school running for class president student council president or any type of other organization can give you a little bit more fun to your voting posters or any other photos.

Keeps crashing--deleting first day. Got this because it was free. Had good ratings. However, it keeps crashing, and I don't have time to waste on that. There are so very many other fun photo apps that work, who needs the stress of crashes. And it's not that much fun when it does work.

Not working on my Ipad2. Doesn't rotate with the iPad when I change orientation. Has a big yellow strip across the bottom of the image and the image is completely off center. Can't find a way to see the whole image. Also can't access any expert mode tools. Most importantly the developer site and app support links in the App Store go to a page not found!!!!!! No way to even write the developer for support. Don't waste your money. Glad it was only $o.99!

Does not work well with the new iPad. I downloaded this yesterday and noticed that this app is not optimized for the new iPad. The screen is not centered, and it is hard to tell if what you are doing is correct. The end result is fine but it would be nice to be able to see this thing work properly before you render a poster. Two stars for now.

OK. If this one style of poster is all you want, this app will do a fine job of making it, though you have to keep the text awfully short, because I couldn't find a way to make the letters smaller.

Unique. Hope poster lets you take all sorts of pics and transform them into a unique poster format. There are many colors to choose from and a Easy or Expert mode to choose from. Instructions are at the beginning of the app and easy to follow. Just another fun way to change your pics around.

One glitch. I can't type anything. It's so horrible it's just stuck on the typing it won't show the keyboard either to try n type sometimes

Love it!. A lot of fun, love the ability to turn photos into a poster with words. Been wanting to do this myself, but have been too lazy to put a photo through posterizing and text apps. Now this app does it all! Would love more color choices, but happy to wait for updates! Keep up the great work!

so so. You don't have a ton of control over where the colour goes even in expert mode, though you can play with the midtones and highlights. The text is the worst part....if there are more than 6 letters, the text is cut off and replaced with .....It does not automatically reduce in size. And it also is not centred, so that some of it leeches into the border. It would be a fantastic app if those two aspects could be improved because it is very creative.

Perfect. Super quick process to give you exactly what you want. Worth the 2 bucks!

Needs to access all my photos. Easy to use. Use expert mode to fix the pictures that are too bright. Doesn't access all my photos in my albums for some reason. Fix that and it's worth 5 stars :D

Hope Poster???. A buck isn't a big deal but this app shouldn't really be called the Hope Poster Photo Filter because it doesn't create anything like the hope poster. It does do some basic filters. I was thinking I was going to be able to create a poster similar to their example of Steve Jobs. The app isn't able to create any such poster. I don't like giving poor reviews but they really shouldn't use an example that wasn't created with their app. :)

Not playing well with others. I am supposing that this app is struggling with the IOS update. It’s currently crashing more often than a Kennedy on a holiday weekend. Please fix it or give me back my $2 so I can put it towards my house on the “Vineyard”. I’d give it zero stars since I haven’t been able to use it if possible.

Fun pop art app!!!. Makes any photo look like cool pop art!!! It's awesome to be able to add personalization too!!! The color options are good but more would be nice.

Does not crash - but.... I have no idea why anyone would say that it crashes. Works great - attractive interface. Easy to operate. However, I want the developers to give us sliders to adjust the posterization of the image as half of the photos I try to use come out looking too dark or light to tell who the person is... Also - please allow the text to wrap or condense - if you type more than 7 or 8 letters the words just become ridiculously tiny. But overall it does EXACTLY what it says and doesn't crash.

Fun app to play with. This is a really fun app. It provides a really neat effect to your photos and I enjoyed it. However, I would have rated this app higher if it weren't for 2 areas that need some tweaking.... (1) The poster effect does not work very well on Caucasian faces, as they tend to end up looking too bleached out, and expert mode cannot necessarily fix this as expert mode also affects other aspects of the photo as well. (Note: African-American or darker skinned faces with some lighting seems to work great with this app, however); (2) I wish you were not restricted to just ONE word of text for the poster -- sometimes 2 or 3 words are needed or desired. Perhaps these 2 things can be fixed? But overall, it is an app worth exploring and playing with. I liked it. And with a few minor changes, I would love it.

Lots of fun. Lots of fun... I would like it if you were able to edit the photo after you hit done. You should be able to take a look at poster and then share it.

Great App. Does a great job. My only complaint is you can't make the background red and blue like in the first example. Otherwise it makes great posters.

Problem. Love this App but I cannot save image! Workaround to send to email then send to camera roll. Would be great if this worked like it used to. Pretty please.

Sorta cute.. It's got a limited set of "posters" to choose from, but it is free...I can't get it to post to my FaceBook or Twitter, it keeps freezing up and wanting me to re-enter all my login info & after I do that, it takes me to an error page that says, "something went wrong." it'll upload from my photo library just fine though. So in all, it's limitations exceed It's value. I'll be deleting it now.

Simple and Perfect. This application is simple and easy to use, and also perfect for editing your photos. Now, we just need to have more filters to edit the photos in a future update.

Great!. It's awesome, but there is this small glitch that makes the text go off the screen sometimes. Other than that, it's a fun application.

Average. Doesn't support large jpeg files, so if you have a camera with high megapixel this app is no good unless you lower the quality of the image first. Defeats the purpose if you want to make an actual poster.

Buggy. Half the time it crashes to the main screen, and you have to pick your picture all over again. When it works, however, it does a decent job.

Don't bother. A pop up ad I couldn't avoid began my experience, then the program cut off the picture. Fix the bugs!

Pretty good!. Sort of finicky and crashes sometimes. But if it's free, how can you complain right??? Really great for your friends! Makes them feel like a boss when you make a poster of them that makes them look like B. Obama.

Cool. Nice apps

Fun. I got it free so I really can't complain about anything. Had I paid for it, I would expect the text thing should be adjusted so that the word does not run off the page when is the word is longer than 4 or 5 letters.

Bug plagued. It was free so I am not complaining, but this app suffers from poor design. Starting be send you to purchase another app is cheap. Instructions look 3rd grader and your limited to a few letter in what you can write without being able to change the font size. Your options are limited. I'd file this in the junk section for now. If the 2 guys who designed this worked really hard on this, then I'm sorry for being a jerk.

Needs a couple more options.... This is a fun app. The only things I would like to see to make it to 5 stars is font style options, and an option to overlay text on the image, rather than in a color block that I have no control over. Otherwise not bad!

I see some things that can be added. I notice that the cropping and resizing options are all preset... What if you could manually adjust those even the font size.... This could be the best app ever even better than photo shop wink wink

Works well, but.... Overall this app works as advertised, and performs as expected. It would be great if it handled text a little more cleanly; often the word you add at the bottom bleeds onto the border. If it would reduce a point or two in size and re-center, it would be great.

It's ok. This app is pretty good if your looking to do that effect. It does what they promised you. But that's it. It's wasn't worth .99 cents. But it's ok.

It's okay but I'm glad it was free. Otherwise I would have felt like this app was a major rip-off. The effects are good but if you put more than five or six letters it just cuts everything off..I don't recommend this if it's not free at the time you're going to get it. It would not be worth the $0.99.

Really nice but. This is great and so useful but would love to use as poster size like it says. Is there a trick? I know: patch it so it you have a choice when saving VECTOR or JPG !! YEP THAT WOULD MAKE A POSTER POSSIBLE. but for that cheap it is FUN!

Cool art-but not for twitter. I love the art but was distressed when I wanted to share an image to twitter and the AP wanted access to post tweets for me on twitter- love the art- privacy for sharing is a turn-off.

Good, but.... The font isn't centered on the image. It's always shifted to the right and half of the last letter isn't visible. Otherwise the app is pretty awesome!

Bait and Switch?. Wanted to make posters. Purchased app but when I did I was prompted to purchase more 'like' apps at a higher price to 'maybe' get to a poster app. Instructions were confusing and leading especially having read something like...that's all there is to it!

What happened to it rotating?. It's a decent app but it does not rotate and a few more colors schemes would be a nice add. For the most part it produces the pic with the color shown, but it's nothing to write home about.
