Prefect instrument. Life saving.. Having a compass can dave my life. I am lost easily and at night cannot see much. I don’t have one in my car. This one is perfect.

Handy. This app is right at hand whenever I need it. When boating I find it more accurate than the very expensive compass mounted in my boat.

I know where I am ☺️. Knowing the direction of North —either true or magnetic— is the key to getting around in unfamiliar places. The only downside is that some places don’t have cell service, so you still may have to use dead reckoning.

Works great. Everyone needs to know which way North is, or at least they should. If you need to know just download this great app.

Too many ads that you can't remove.. I understand developers want make money. But having this annoying ad fixed on the app is too much. Have the ad just make it where I can delete it and go on till the next one pops up.

No longer works. Unusable because of adds. I use to enjoy the app but it no longer works. It demands I down load apps I do not want.

Useful app. Very simple to use especially for phone

Poor Accuracy in Degrees. After checking calibration and matching this compass with my iPhone compass, I found the Accuracy + or - rating on the screen to off by a factor of 15 to 28 degrees. Thus, either the developer misinterpreted the readings and left out a decimal point or the compass is unreliable in its reading. If there is a decimal point missing and the true accuracy is 1.5 to 2.8 degrees off the actual compass reading, then this could be considered acceptable. Otherwise, one cannot trust the reading it gives the user.

Good, but one thing.. Everything is perfect but the adds are bothersome, making it a little less perfect. Overall, good app 👍

True North Feature doesn’t work. Finding a compass with a “true North” geodesic feature was the only reason I downloaded this app. But when I switched to geodesic North, the app freezes. It says to calibrate, but calibration does nothing. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, so there’s no excuse!

Great app!. It’s good to know the direction wherever you are if you have your phone.

Excellent App. I have cut the cable and am putting up an outside antenna to receive free over the air channels I found a website that you can enter your address and it will give you the exact co-ordinance in which to point my antenna to the TV station towers. This app has worked perfectly. It gives me the exact degree to point antenna for dead on reception. Thank you for a great app!

Review. This is an excellent app and I like the classic retro-compass display...It is also very fun and enjoyable to use wherever you are. Wherever you’re located. Great way to get your bearing, Especially in a big city or a big metropolitan area. Thanks for the time and effort that the people in computer was put into this app.

Compass. If you wanna go camping or on a holiday where there’s snow like Lake Tahoe, you need a compass. A compass is a special clock that tells sailors and pilots where there going like the north or the south. These places are magnets so the needle is magnetized. You can find compasss in Target or The Home Depot.

Star master. Very nice app to find the correct north and south in unfamiliar areas.

Why I don’t get lost. Absolutely love it helps me all the time especially the elevation I raced home and pigeons thank you so much

A little disappointed. When I first got this app I was so excited but when I opened it it said my device didn’t have the right chip to work so I read the reviews and they were pretty good so I’ll never know if this app is good or not but I bet it’s great.

Compass Accuracy. The compass is set to magnetic NORTH. Apparently there is a way to set it to true North. I downloaded 5 compass Apps. They were all quit accurate, but this one and another was set to MAGNETIC NORTH & the other 3 automatically takes into account the declination from Magnetic North to TRUE NORTH when allowing access to your current locaction! If you do not know what DECLINATION means, look it up. Very important!

My Compass 🧭. I love my compass app, especially since I have been relocated from California to New York City! I always had a fairly accurate internal GPS until then. I intuitively knew where west was in California. Not so much in New York! Also, Long Island is at an angle. Anyone can see how this could throw me off! If it wasn’t for my compass I’d be completely lost. I love how easy it is to use too, so thank you!

Works great. I use it for calling in dig alerts in rural areas always seems to work fine

Saved a lot of worry. I was out on the water and fog set in, making it impossible to know where we were. By taking a heading just as the fog rolled in, we were able to navigate back to safety. That’s a lifesaver.

Impossible to use. I understand the apps that are free might require ads to help defray the cost of development, but placing ads right in the middle of the screen completely obscures the functionality of the app. It’s nice that the Developer has a feedback button entitled “ad covered content”, but submitting it achieved nothing. It’s a beautiful app with potentially useful information, but with this glaring ad intrusion, there is but one choice. Delete!

Great Compass. Simple and precise app that will help all people who like to use the compass to direct themselves to get to specific destinations.

Simply works. I got this after the default Apple compass started to freeze up. Nothing fancy about this compass, it simply works. I love the old-timey design too.

Bad compass. I paid for a compass that is completely useless this one and every other I’ve had completely wicked useless I wish I could get my money back get this off my phone what good is it if it’s back wards or quarter off never worked I don’t know what to say tried to figure eight still not working wish I could take back my star Carl west Tisbury I want my money back

Like it-names it Cristobol. The app works well most of the time but it sometimes is erratic and gives several reads for the same location.

Realtor life saver. I am realtor and for many of my clients the direction of the door is very important, this is an essential tool.

Ads are terrible. The instant it loads a big ad pops up To get rid of adds you have to pay but I wanted to see how it worked before I paid to have it on my phone After a few minutes I deleted this stupid ap

Compass. I have always wanted to use a compass and this app is teaching me how. Thank you so much for making it possible.

Relocated. I just recently moved to a new location and the app has been a god sent. I got lost one time but after I got it, never after that if I need to find where an address is whether north or south. It is absolutely brilliant.

Really precise compass. I use for my Feng Shui mobile business and its always correct giving the exact point

Compass. This compass has everything that I would want. Direction, coordinates, and altitude. Great App!

Useful. This goes beyond being a useful compass. It’s attractive to use and helpful in teaching non-compass persons the joy of knowing Cardinal directions.

I removed this app, here’s why. I will not use apps that lie to me even if it’s easy to use. The second time I opened this app an ad immediately covered the compass telling me my phone’s memory was full and I needed to “clean it”. Their solution was for me to buy another app to solve the problem. I checked my phone’s “available memory and I have 24 GB FREE! I closed the compass app, reopened it and immediately a different ad covered the compass telling me there was another app I needed to buy for a different problem. If you don’t want lying ads popping up whenever you open this compass app, then you must pay an absurd monthly fee. I removed this app from my phone. A Compass app is useful when backpacking. A GPS app is what I use to navigate on roads and in cities.

Pretty. Pretty, easy to use, and accurate

Enjoy magically discovering “your” app randomly. Then I like it because it was and may still be old school ~chic with modern anti establishment trends…it is always a pleasure to do marketing for you. (Almost) perfect. Compass x is amazing, I would only change one thing. It would be nice (but not absolutely necessary) if you improved precision. I have recalibrated my device several times and it is still a little off. While I understand that you cannot make it perfectly exact, I would quite appreciate it if the precision was improved a bit.

Seems to work pretty well, but.... You are bombarded by the insidious Google ads that have permeated every place like a cancer. Google has done some great things, but is now sucking the blood out of everything it touches. App developers fall right in step. Would prefer the basic compass I have had on iphone for years, but for some unknown reason, that can’t be had on an ipad.

Doesnt work at all. Didnt think I could comment without giving at least one star. No matter where I am, which way my device is pointed the screen has been the same...dial never, ever moves!

Does the job well!. Very dependable and unobtrusive app.

Not the best. It was all great the first second third and fourth day but then I came back to it in a week and then its accuracy was completely inaccurate it's hard to fix I do not understand how to do it at all! So to be completely honest this thing is kind of useless… Well not exactly useless but you know what I mean. So great for the first couple days, but then it loses its accuracy. Don't know what to do with myself. 😳

Very poor compass. Sometimes this compass is pretty close. Most of the time it’s way off. I might as well be flipping a coin.

Worst compass. This compass is terrible! I’m using it right now and it says I’m facing 350 degrees N when in fact I’m facing 78 degrees E. If you’re lost in the wilderness with this thing you might as well sign your death warrant!

Gps location. Crappy that’s about it!

North point changes from use to use.. Impossible to rely on. Every time I use it, even when I am in the same location, the direction north changes by 30 degrees.

Very inconsistent!. a It looks great and all, but it’s unreliable. I got this so I’ll know which windows to place my plants nearby. One day it’s telling me my bedroom window faces NW, another day SW, today W. Which is it??

Doesn’t work at all, except the ads.. The compass doesn’t work at all. The only thing that works is the ads. The compass doesn’t move. According to this app, everywhere is North 👎🏻

Can’t get to less than 20% error. No matter how much twisting and turning. I have a true north-south line in my yard using solar noon and it won’t come close.
