Love the light , but hate the ads.. I would give the light 4 stars cause I can’t figure out how to change the numbers and sometimes it flashes like a beat. I gave it one star less cause of the ads, when trying to use flashlight if u grab bottom of phone the ad opens n light goes away. I’d rather pay a one time fee n have no ads. Humm

I use this app all the time!. I have to give this flashlight app 5 stars because I use it all the time (ok a lot!!). Easy to use and brighter than the flashlights i used to use while walking my dog (for you know what)😬.

Senior’s Dream. I love having a flashlight ready all the time. Lights up my closet and lets my husband sleep. Lights up my door so I can insert my key. Lights up the ground to keep me from tripping. This is a necessity for anyone who has trouble seeing and a senior citizen’s dream.

Wonderful. This is a great ap and is better than the one that came with my phone. Much easier to use and provides a few features that the provided phone ap.

Great but. I already have a built in flashlight in my phone but I decided to get the app to see if the light is brighter but to my surprise the light built into my phone was brighter then the light made by this app but it’s still good does it’s function correctly but it could use some improvements because people will most likely delete the app some time after downloading it so try giving some othor features that’s fun to mess around with to make the person more attached to the app.

Gets the Job Done. It’s a flashlight there’s not much to it. The app is a quick reliable resource that I can use in a flash (did u get it😂)! But seriously overall this app does what it’s supposed to do and that’s all that I need. Totally recommend it!!!

Flashlight. This light does what all of my various book lights could not do - it lasts. It’s consistent. I’ve talked to others who also use their phone’s flashlight to read by. It doesn’t clip on the book, but I don’t care.

Used to love this app. I just had an emergency situation in my home with no lights. I flip open the app so I can go to help my son (who is in complete darkness) only to have this app disable the on switch and demand I give them a review before I can use it. Well here it is: don’t count on this app. It may work great, bright, wonderful or it may leave you stumbling in the dark while it shows you an ad or demands a review.

Bright when I need it. Having a flashlight app has been so helpful. This light is ready when I need it and does a great job at casting a bright light when I have to walk outside or inside in the dark. Highly recommend it for safety and convenience.

Does Exactly what It's Supposed to Do + More. The more being the adjustable light instead of just one light level. Better than any phone flashlight or really any regular flashlight I've ever had. Def recommend it.

Brightest and user friendly. I have using the Apple built-in but swiping to bring up flashlight is hit or miss. So I tried two other apps. But they are burdened by extra fancy features such that when I needed a light, I fumbled through features I never need. So frustrating. This app is the real deal. Smartly designed, super handy. Yes the brightest. The slide bar to vary the intensity could be improved by making it longer but this is minor. Perfect and FREE. elegant design and user friendly.

HEY EVERYONE, IPHONE FLASHLIGHT DIDNT USED TO BE AVAILABLE!!!. You guys are so stupid it hurts me. Apple did not use to have a flashlight feature on the iPhone so people had to download this app to activate the camera flash to make it work. You sound so dumb commenting that the iPhone already has a flashlight.

Not complicated. It is basically just a dimmable flashlight. It does have an option to flash but it does not get in the way. You might ask, why would you want a dimable flash light? When you turn it on to find your way to the bathroom at AM you will remember.

Great light. This app does everything I was looking for it to do. I use it almost ever night. Have to sleep in dark or I will remain awake with smallest light. So when I awaken at night I have my trusty light it gives me just the light I need to do whatever I need and it does hurt my eyes!

Finally a great flash light I can find quickly!!!. Trying to find the Apple flashlight by pulling it up from the bottom screen is a nightmare! So happy I downloaded this flashlight and can access it quickly!

Brighter than the iPhone flashlight utility. When the iPhone got a built-in flashlight, some people quit using flashlight apps, but I have used this one for years because it’s reliable and has a low and hi setting which makes it more useful than the standard flashlight utility which has one low setting.

Very quick and easy!. Better flashlight that the one that came with iPhone 6, (and then disappeared). Glad I have this flashlight that is easy to use.

Really good app. Well, I don’t necessarily think it is the brightest flashlight, but it does what I would expect it to do. It is brighter than some other apps I have tried, which the light came out of the screen, and it doesn’t drain my battery.

Much more Secure. In reading their privacy statement I believe this app is more secure than the others. They only collect diagnostic information, not location, contacts, advertising information and more. People need to be aware of what is going on behind the scenes in apps.

Brightest and unobtrusive. Absolutely the best. Even if you don’t understand how they make The light brighter you will see the result. Also ease of use is perfect and they do not constantly be pushing their add-ons. I have used this for over six months and have found it excellent.

Works Well. Downloaded the flashlight app because as a auto mechanic. Can never have too many flashlights. Unfortunately for me, my father had taken the flashlight that was working when I needed it. So I figured why not download a flashlight app so I always have a flashlight on me. Works very well for work/everyday use. Only downside is it can really use up your battery life on the phone.

Fastest flashlight ever!. Wanted to make sure this review was read so i gave it 5 stars! I find that this app does what all the other flashlight apps do...it lights up and illuminates what I need to see. As far as being the brightest...ummmm....there is no way that the app magically makes the light bulb a brighter stronger light bulb. Every phone has the same standard bulb when manufactured at the factory...smh. So if you really buy into the hype, I have the worlds hardest set of rock hammers cut from the same materials as any other rock hammer. I also have the worlds fastest snails ever raised in captivity.

Not great, but good enough. I love this app, but there’s a problem. When I turn the phone off or get out the app, the light turns off. Although, the blinking of the light is... useful. Still, I would love some improvements. when you turn the phone off, I want the light to stay. That’s it, thank you!

Dumb. Yes I rated 5 stars because the app does what it's supposed to. But I find the concept of Flashlight apps dumb. Let me explain: every iOS device has control center. You access it by swiping up at the bottom of the screen. It lets you go to 3 apps, enable the flash of your device, turn airplane mode, wifi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, lock rotation, night shift (iOS 9.3 and up), enable airplay and airdrop and adjust brightness and volume. TL:DR, swipe up from bottom, tap Flashlight icon, profit.

Mr. J. It was a good app until they decided to start adding commercials. Now when you are using the flashlight when you really need it, the light goes out and a commercial comes on the screen. Now this is the most useless app there is. I will definitely find a different flashlight app to use and delete this one. I have no idea what made the developers decide to allow the light to turn off and a commercial pop up in its place. Really stupid!!!.

Great ap!. First, it’s free. What’s better than free? Second, it’s a flashlight ap. Third, it works great. Ding-ding-ding!!! Give this creator a gold star. In the year I’ve had this ap, it’s cut off with no warning two times. Other than than, no glitches. I’ve updated when asked to and it requires only a small amount of memory. Multi levels of briteness as well as strobe lighting. Kudos. Highly recommend.

Love it EXCEPT…. Having had this Flashlight installed for years, I've adored the convenience of its bright light. HOWEVER, for the last year or so, it randomly turns itself on daily—multiple times—and unless you shut it down, it quickly empties the phone battery. So you need to go to the app, switch it to “on” and then switch it off again. A huge bother. Also, on occasion it toggles to the different strobe lights and again, you have to restart the app to turn off this bothersome issue. So unless this bug is fixed in the next month, guess who’ll erase it and install someone else’s app? Boo hoo! PLEASE fix this issue—it’s hard to imagine this is the only phone experiencing this bug. (Thanks in advance to the tech crew if you fix it!)

Too many ads. This app has lots of shady ads pop up, some that take you straight to a website without even touching the screen. So if you need to use the flashlight for an extended period, get a different app because this one has a mind of its own. Plus the light will turn off if you have to leave the app to use another one, and when you come back to this one you have to restart in order to turn the light back on. I would not recommend this flashlight app to anyone.

Simple effective flashlight. Simple flashlight has 2 settings, I love the low light since I use it around kids when they are sleep and don’t want a real bright light... and the bright option is prefect brightest flashlight.. thank you

Great app. This was one of my first app downloads when I got my iPhone years ago. It has come in so handy as I live in the country and many times if I have to go out at night to do something I can just grab my phone and run out. Without any street lights it's really dark where I live. Use it a lot to navigate between my car and home.

This little light of mine. This flashlight does an awesome job of lighting up and showing what I need to see , keeping me out of treacherous situations. It comes on fairly quickly about also, not like other Apps that can take up to 30 seconds.

The Flashlight is Always with Me. I have come into many instances where I am in a dark room and can not see were my feet are - such as movie theaters. Having balance issues makes this Flashlight the best. It has different layers of brightness which is very nice. Thanks for improving this app.

Just what I needed!. I have used this app more times than I can count!! Looking for something in a dim light, walking my dog at night and not having to worry about carrying 'something else' with me, to looking for one of my grandson's toys under furniture, etc. So handy!

Reliable and bright. I’ve had the app installed for several years and it’s never failed me. More than bright enough to find keys you dropped at night or light your way to the door. Great for finding things that find their way under a car seat or furniture...including a skittish new cat, which I couldn’t find for more than a week before remembering this great light. Better than any mini light I’ve used, ever. I do think it’s a battery hog, but that’s easily addressed by remembering to close the app after use.

New Brain Research!. If you can make an option to pulse this for 10 seconds or greater, and make it an alarm clock, new research out of Standford’s sleep lab shows you can set your circadian clock an hour earlier by pulsing light every 10 seconds an hour before waking up. A dream for Jet Lag!

Flashlight App!. Get this app! It has come in handy a variety times. You'll Thank them the next time something small gets away from you, especially at night or in a confined space!

Ads turn off the flashlight... not cool. I used to love this app — it’s helped me out when I really needed a task light. As a flashlight on my iPhone, it’s bright and awesome... for a while. Now the ads pop up after some time and these turn off the flashlight. You have to return to the screen and figure out how to get the flashlight back on / not cool when you’re in the middle of fixing a leaky pipe stretched out on your back. I have no problem with ads, but leave the light on!

Great!. This is a great tool, now some people are saying in reviews, "We already have a flashlight in the control center!" Well yes, you do if you use iOS. However, this app allows flashing lights (Yay also a free seizure test app!) and a brighter flashlight than what the control center gives. And, a lot more easy to access, and use! Great app, 10/10. And it's free (which I wouldn't get if you had to pay 😐) and incredibly fast download and usage size! Great app! 👌🏻

Very good just as described. I have been using this app ever since it first came out from my first iPod Touch to first smart iPhone. It works exactly as intended, lites up what I need & has developed different light settings through time which is very convenient. I am super grateful to developer for keeping the app updated through time. Hope developer can come up with new good apps frequently used as handy tools. Good job, I have only used this app and non other!

Neatest Thing Ever. One thing I KNOW for sure. I ALWAYS have my phone with me, if I'm in the house, go out to my shop, check the oil in our vehicles or walk the dogs at bedtime, I ALWAYS have my phone. AND NOW, I ALWAYS have my flashlight too !

How to turn off advertising first. Go into settings, choose this app, and disable its access to your wireless data. Otherwise, it'll automatically open the App Store for things you never clicked on. Plus, why would a flashlight need updates or internet connection anyway?

Apps to crop photos!. Sure, your phone has a flashlight and you can crop photos. I had to buy an app to *crop photos*! Isn’t that insane? How did people who can’t discern the horizon manage? There must have been some kind of basic editing tools for photos but I don’t recall. Some of the flashlight apps have SOS and color change. It was only recently dimming became possible on iPhones. I dunno. This is still useful for anyone who can’t handle pulling down to access controls but can scroll through screens. I installed a flashlight on a guy’s phone and not 10 minutes later he said he needed to get a flashlight. Not everyone’s brain works the same way.

Simple is good.. It's just an on/off button. Ok you can access the flashlight from swiping up and selecting flashlight. But have you ever had your phone unable to turn off flashlight? My well used iPhone with all the latest updates sometimes needs rebooting. If you haven't had time to reboot for a while, let you turn the flashlight off.

Let There Be Light!. Love this app. It’s so easy to use & comes in so handy at odd times. I’ve used it to change the thermostat in the middle of the night without turning lights on & to see if my cat is underfoot on my way to the kitchen. I highly recommend it.

Unpredictable & unreliable. I’ve had this app for years and haven’t updated it in a long time, yet suddenly it started popping up ads even when I haven’t accidentally touched the ad banner. This is a major annoyance at best, and outright dangerous at worst! I don’t know how it happened, but it is a downright awful decision by the developers and shows immensely poor judgment on their part. If not for it now being so unpredictable and unreliable, I would have said it was a great app.

Lifesaver!. I always have trouble finding things in my bags, which are usually like a black hole. This little app has helped me no end in finding things like keys, lipstick etc.

Only For Phones. I downloaded this app on my iPad hoping for once I could have a flashlight to help me when I need it! But, no, it didn’t work as usual. It looks like a great app for phones and it had helped a lot of people, but sadly not me.

On my dads galaxy s3 he has an app like this but he can push the home button and the light stays on this would be nice if I could say use Facebook or play a game wile the torch is on I would like this feature on my iPhone so I don't keep having to borrow my dads s3 when I go out at night thanks oh and also make the torch run wile its locked as well

It’s a rip😡. I downloaded this app on my iPad and every time I turn the flashlight up it kicks me out. The second thing is that when I get in the app and get out 30 mins later one of my documents are deleted so I think it hacks.

Best one. There are heaps of similar apps, and I've tried them all, but I LOVE this one. Two reasons: • it has superb graphics - a really swanky torch look. I love the switch, and • the light stays off when I boot up the app and only comes on when I turn it on (something some of the others fail to do). It means I can boot the app up and use it when I'm ready. To the developers: you'll get the extra star when I can pay 99 cents and get rid of the ads that ruin the marvellous look of the torch. For the record, I'm a graphic designer so aesthetics are paramount. Please give us the option of an ad free version.

Handy. Good for getting around in a familiar environment, finding keyholes and the like. Very handy app. Is it as good as my Stremelight Protec? No of course not but it's not designed to be a tach light, it does its job to the capacity it was designed for, and it performs this very well.

FLASHLIGHT: I Love this App. I use this Flash Light App all the time. I’m constantly using it. I would be Lost without it. It’s one of the most productive and effective tool on my Cell Phone.

Great App. It is easy to use and it’s free. What more can you want from a flashlight app? Maybe a strobe function to disorient an assailant or to have at a party - especially if it flashes to the beat. Maybe a dimmer function?

Whatttttt this is terrible. So I had an assignment in science saying that I needed a flashlight to do the lab. I instantly searched for a flashlight app on my iPad. But it didn’t work as I thought. It just made my screen wight and that wasn’t the light I thought would happen. I thought my camera would light up but my screen does. If you need something like this app it is still not that bright. -anonymous user

Comes with useless ads. Comes with useless ads on the bottom of the screen. Easy to use although. I just hate companies sending me their junk mail.

Ads, ads as far as the eye can see. I go to work earlier than my family, I’m 2 hours into my shift when my kids wake up. So I try to avoid using the lights in the house at 5:30. Tried this app, EVERY SINGLE DAY I get an ad before it works. I’m off to work a 10 hour shift at 5:30, after my kid threw up on his bed, then me in my own bed. Excellent App. This works like a real flashlight vs. the one on my iPhone 5c. Regular icon instead of that screen that pops up and goes away.

Good flashlight. I love that it has two settings so it saves battery power of you don’t need full brightness

It’s a flashlight. I like this because its a flashlight and doesn’t start doing other functions in the middle of what I’m doing .

Nice…. dis app is very useless. it is not brighter than the built in apple flashlight. add more features to make it better

Why?. To start off, this flashlight has no need to be on someone’s iOS phone,iPad etc. because brightest this flashlight goes is the exact same brightness as the one on you center control flashlight. 3 stars because it does what it is supposed to and has a strobe affect.

I like it!. After installing and then deleting others, this is the flashlight app I kept (2+ years now.). Free version ads aren't intrusive. It works well for me. Thanks!!!

Love this app!. While camping this app takes the place of carrying a flashlight. It does what it says it does, plenty of light to navigate in the night.

No fooling around. Quick and easy, always works, no keeping on trying to get it to open as with the my iPhone.

Thanks. The flashlight is much brighter! I'm more comfortable using this at night to go to my car when shopping or coming home and walking to the door.

Just right. Why make it complicated when you just want a flashlight? This app simply does what you want.

Do you understand what a flashlight app isSupposed to do supposed to do. Well flashlight apps should project out of the plaster where the light is supposed to come out 4 stars and not out of the screen sooo dumb

Annoying updates. Every time I need to use this, it needs some update that makes it so I can’t use the app. it should update automatically so this won’t happen because what kind of update for a flashlight could be so important that you can’t use it until a half hour update is loaded in? People use this for as a tool and for their safety

Voice command and on when opened. It would be nice to use Siri to turn on the flashlight and also to have an option to have the light turn on as soon as the app is opened.

Flat Tire Assistant. At five thirty in the morning I found myself on a dark country road with a flat tire. Needing to change it, I had no light but my iPhone. While it is not as bright as headlights or sun light, I was able to accomplish my task.

It’s a flashlight. It turns on - it turns off. It lets Siri activate it so I can operate it with voice commands. What else do you need in Flashlight?🙄 However bright it is depends on your phone, not the app.

Great flashlight!!!!. Simple and easy to use (just flip the switch up)!! Bright but not too bright!!! Nice having a good flashlight handy (on phone) rather than searching for one in the house.

Love it!!!😘. I downloaded this app and I absolutely love it! The good thing about this app is that it doesn't use wi-fi. And it's super simple! And the lighting is really bright.

It Crashes a Lot. While this app helps me see in the dark (and it’s even perfect for sneaking out at night), there’s only one thing I don’t like about it; it crashes a lot, which is annoying. I wish Apple can do something about it.

Bright & easy to use. One touch, easy to use, and nice & bright. Just used it tonight to light up our car engine for a jump!

Does not work consistently. Using iPhone 7 plus iOS 10.2.1 I have to uninstall and reinstall frequently and often that doesn't even help. When it does work it's great and I prefer it to other apps I've tried just very inconsistent especially when I need it to function properly most.

Poor placement of ads. I realize the ads pay for free apps, but when I need the flashlight and all of a sudden it goes off because an ad needs to play, it could even end up being a dangerous situation. Please play the ads at the beginning or at the end of use.

Excellent app!! Very useful. It is an excellent app!!! Very helpful when you don’t want to go back to the home screen just to turn on the flash light. Very bright and useful.

Flashlight. This is an awesome flashlight. It is handy and always available! Never have to hunt down my flashlight or make sure to keep batteries in the portable one this one is readily available. I love it!

Good flashlight!. I like this app. I always have my phone on me, and keep this app on my home page. It’s amazing how often it comes in handy. Easy and helpful!

Works fine!. This app works fine for the 2days I have had it and have used it to navigate my home at night without disturbing my husband, who is going through radiation and chemo.

As good as a phone flashlight gets. It dose what it should it has a pretty fast strobe to protect you it might not be as good as a normal flashlight but it is a lot cheaper

Flashlight. Use it all the time. Get grands to use flashlight to look under bed and other places hard to see and reach

On off button no longer goes all the way down. It turns off at the midway mark but it used to go all the way down to the bottom

Flashlight on iPhone 11 Pro Max not bright. Not sure why but this app worked great for many years until I upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Now the brightness is half of what it should be. Light is perfectly bright when using built in icon/flashlight but not when using this app. Anything I am doing wrong??

Unlike my last Flashlight application. This one actually works! Easy to use!

Annoying. The placement of the ad bar at the bottom was a constant headache as that is where lost wotld grip the phone to use the app. An ad would appear and shut off the light

Excellent and Handy. I have found this app to be so useful. I like that you can adjust the brightness. Highly recommend!!

Flashlight. I love the flashlight as the button makes it easy to turn on and of. It quit working last week and I had to delete and reload I use the flashlight daily walking my pets every morning. Easiest functionality ever

Easy access flashlight. The app is much faster to access than the iPhone built in one. I like that it has two levels of brightness.

Flash light app better than control center. Many times ive had trouble sliding upward to reach control center app ... this makes flashlight easier to access!!!!!

VERY BRIGHT!! Great!!. Very bright LED light. I just wish it would stay on in some instances while I switch to use another app. I highly recommend this app!!

Better than most. Pretty good. Could be better if it came on automatically when you click on the app. That's all I want in a flash light app. I had an app that did that years ago. Now I can't find one that does that.
