Great!. This app is so good for when your bored and the colors with the neon are just so pretty! I really recommend this app for when your bored or on a long road trip or just anywhere really, 5 stars!!

Phenomenal! Still working 10 years later. Forge of Neon is not only a really beautiful, fun, and meditative app/game/canvas, I am totally blown away by the fact that the dev IS STILL UPDATING IT 10 YEARS LATER! I've let my cousins play with it on road trips and I pop it up from time to time just to draw something. It's interesting to see how some people are predisposed towards similar styles of what they build but others might be fairly random. Unlike many other apps and games from 10 years ago that have been abandoned, Forge of Neon has been kept up-to-date to work on newer devices and iOS versions. That really means a lot to me. Thank you Dev! You have built something Phenomenal and you keep taking care of it. I really appreciate that and love its novelty.

Gallery deleted itself and kid is very upset. Have a 12 year old who worked long and hard on building her gallery for months to have it disappear. Maybe those reading this think it is stupid to be upset over this but she is destroyed over it. She spent lots of time with this app and that time has now been wasted.

Good, but not much understandment. The app itself is VERY good and it is also very entertaining to do, but something i do not understan is the instructions. When i go to the settings it shows how fast i want the creation to go what style and how many mirrors, but other setting are to confusing to understand. Other than that, the app is very good

Make videos longer. You should make the video longer when you record

So I download this game not long ago and I think it was a great purchase and… I mean it has not the best controls they’re really hard to get to know and I still haven’t learned it I downloaded it yesterday usually I can memorize stuff that quickly but not the time other words great I’m giving you five stars and that’s the end of this review

Good Visual Toy, Missing Important Feature!. This app is a fun gadget to trip-the-light-fantastic. It's fun to trace out a comet tail from your finger. However it's been missing a the ability to add your own background. If it had this this missing feature it would open the possibilities for stylizing photos instead of drawing in a vacuum.

It’s a winner!. I love this app. I look forward to the next upgrade and I hope we get one soon Of the 50 some photo apps I use in my work, this one is certainly in the top 10. Thank you. Good and bad. When I first got this game when I pressed the restart button at least 2 times I would get a add. Other wise I would love it. Now here are some good thing about it one thing that is good about it is that when you do something it does it on both sides so it won’t take as long as it usually would.

I love this game. This game is so mesmerizing and calming, but there is only one thing. There is quite a bit of adds. I don’t mind that much because it tells you when there is an upcoming add, and there are only adds when you delete your art or when you save your art. Again I love this game and highly recommend it is free and it doesn’t require Wi-Fi, so I recommend you check it out.

Brilliant!. Heads and shoulders above the rest since you can record your creations. Buy it to allow for continuous development. He gives you the app without watermarks or limitations, only banner ads which aren't even intrusive, not like other apps which are obnoxious with the cash grabbing. Thank you so much for this!

...... This is a really good game honestly it's relaxing no stress unless your trying to actually create something and not just mess around on it but the only complain I have is everytime you trash a picture you made there is a ad it's a little annoying but besides that this is a great game

Won’t export videos.. I really love playing with this app! It’s a lot of fun and there’s always something new to learn. But… it won’t export the videos I create. It saves them in the game itself but not to my phone. I really want to share my creation but am unable to. Otherwise I would’ve given it 5 stars.

Fascinating in much the same way as ASMR!. I have only had it a short time and I am utterly fascinated. Well worth the $1.99 upgrade to support the maker. You can make, save and share short 30 second videos. Very relaxing.

I love this app, although I think it can be improved for an even better experience. it would be nice if we could send our drawings to other people who have the app, also more "spins" and more ability to customize what percentage of things like change the brush size for detail. overall I enjoy your app and have recommended it to friends which is why I wish we could send our drawings to one another and edit and play!

Your app is very successful, even better than my best app no lag at all. This game has no lag. No errors and I have played it for about five months now and it’s only gotten better. This app could be 90% better. I've had this game for a while now, and it's good, but it definitely has flaws. 1. Each time I press "cancel" or "save" it always has an ad, I am sick, and tired of those ads!!!!! 2. Every single time after the ads finish, the whole game freezes up!! Then, I have to exit to home screen, get back on the app AGAIN, and then once I finish an artwork, ANOTHER AD COMES. This has been going on for a while so PLEASE. FIX. THIS. NOW. Maybe then i'll start playing again, it is a good app but if you don't have HDR then it can't look as cool, I like this app so I REALLY want it to work

This app promotes creativity!. If you play around with the settings, this app gives you so much perspectives and colors to choose from!! I don’t even write review for apps, not even for my favorite games, but this app is awesome, especially if you’re on psychedelics!

No idea how I missed this for 10 years.. Really cool and psychedelic in a way. To the youngsters, this is not a game, it’s a drawing or art program. Be creative. Also great to see dev has continued to update for 10 years. Just goes to show how vast the App Store is, I’ve probably browsed for hundreds of hours the past decade but never came across this until just very recently. Cheers and well done!

I’ve had this for a long time, so.... For a long while I didn’t like the new updates since 2.0 because it’s too glowy. I preferred how simple it used to be where you can fill up the screen with myriads of colors that don’t clash too much. Suggestion at the bottom. So today I go through the FILTERS option and find VIGNETTE. ALL my problems are solved. I don’t like any of the other filters yet tbh But now I can start using the new features in Earnest. I hope I’m not alone in this, but I also hope to help out those like me. Also, if you are thinking of getting this and want a classic taste, definitely use Vignette. It’s much less “glowy” and paradoxically more pleasing to the eye. The glow slider wasn’t working out for me before is all. What can I say? Actually, how about this. When I got on the app today out of curiosity, I tried the Spinner mode and turned off the automatic filters. If you guys could make CLASSIC mode automatically Vignette, and low glow, you will have a more True-To-Feel “Classic” taste for those of us that had the old versions.

Very beautiful and astonishing. This is the best app I have ever used for any creative content. You have so much different things to do and it’s great. Thank you to the creator or creators who have given people who can’t pay for these kinds of apps like myself to have fun and express ourselves through art. I highly recommend the app 100 %

Fantastic. This game is incredible! I do wish you could draw just the one line with out another line being drawn to. Unless you can do that and I just haven’t figured it out yet. But ether way, this game is so great. The way the colors move when you draw them, it’s like water flowing or rain drops falling. It’s so real, and fun to look at I just love it! It’s absolutely fantastic!:)

The ADs. Overall I think the game is great it’s just that there are to many ADs and I think that’s annoying but every time I play I think it’s really fun and relaxing but 5/5 because in the end you can just turn your WIFI off

Lovely, fun app. Forge of Neon is ridiculously relaxing to play with, and this app is kind of perfect. I have bought the in-app purchase to get the pro features, and everything works well. I’ve exported some gorgeous videos from this app, which I enjoy looking at, but also which I can use in other video editing apps to create some very cool visual effects. Forge of Neon is fun, beautiful, and useful!

Love it.... Highly addictive and fun. My only “bad” comments are needs more patterns and wish there was a way to view my finished work like on a continuous loop or something. Otherwise Forge of Neon is usually the first thing i pull up when i have downtime.

All stars, No Problems. When I downloaded this app I thought it was going to be a boring neon coloring game but no! There was edits to make it rain down neon and you could make all these cool designs of neon colors and brushes of whatever you want and it’s just way more cooler and fun than I thought it would be. It’s now my fav❤️ game now!

Not what it used to be. Incoming ad ? Is what this app has come to full screen ads banner ads, just ads ads ads I know how long this app has been around it was one of the first apps I ever downloaded almost ten years ago and I am really shocked at all of the ads I know it’s a sign of the times with ads but now full screen ads I am really disappointed.

Great app but excessive ads. If you like interesting lights then I recommend this app for you. But also there’s way too many ads and it makes it hard to enjoy as much as I think you’re supposed too. Still really cool concept I like the game but still a tiny bit confusing for me. But that’s my opinion.

I never play it now it’s Ben like 8 days already! So I wish they added mini games like contest with other players “who’s the best maker?” Or you can like custom make a cool thing- I don’t know how to describe but.. like custom a snowflake? Amazing app. This is more than a game. This is an amazing app. I am blown away by what can be achieved. My only gripe is that you can’t load or open all the files back in for further editing. Would be great to have some form of failed management.

Invasive Ads. Ads are ok but when you give an ad in under 30 seconds it makes it invasive. I want people who cant afford to pay for pro to be able to use the app functionally and not take five times longer so heres a deal. Get to the average ad time of 3-5 minutes and I will donate for more than one pro purchase and put five star review. The current state of the ads are way way too often compared to other apps and you basically are saying “I dont like you if you cannot afford me”

For people who hate the adds. Listen they made the game free they get paid for you watching the so you have to think why would they remove them they will go broke this game is... Super cool!. Ok so I bet your wondering why this games is cool well I think it’s cool because it’s relaxing it’s fun it’s soooo interesting and I’m gonna use one of the things for my profile picture. The two things the blow about this game are the ads and the fact that there’s not enough choices if the game is free. So yeah that’s all I have to say about this app bye!

It’s a great game but….. It’s super colorful but there’s not much to do with it. I came across it and thought it would be really cool but not even an hour after getting it I was bored of it and didn’t want it anymore. Another thing is if you’re photosensitive or can’t deal with flashing lights DO NOT get this game. The last thing that I don’t like about this game is it’s confusing cause there are so many things in this game that I don’t understand so if you don’t like using your brain cells I don’t recommend this game. But hey in the end this is just my opinion so you don’t have to agree with me on this. THE END!!

Favorite game. I have been looking for something like this for so long and I finally find one. This is probably my favorite app. I feel like I can make anything. Petiole complain about the ads but really you kind of control when you get an ad which is really cool, and sometimes I purposely go to an ad so y’all can make more money and be able to keep doing updates and just develop the game in general. Thank you for this app and try not to ruin it I guess.

Love this! Some Improvements?. I have used this app since it came out essentially. I am writing a review in hopes to show that people still use this! I love this app and it is so calming. The only thing that I would improve is the ability to export a longer video than just 30 seconds! A minute or two would be awesome, especially because you could loop it that way if done right.

Only ONE thing missing. This title will get a full 5 stars from me when the author releases a version which is capable of exporting lossless or very low compression movie files. Right now, it uses default bitrate settings that produces movies which are just too blocky for pro use anywhere else. I am dying to use it in the production of some music videos, but not without some really hi-res stuff.

Love the app, excellent. One thing I’m having a problem with is exporting my videos. It always tells me “Video Failed”. And that’s it I don’t have it on my camera roll. I’m using iPhone X. The app is spectacular truly original and super cool please fix this or if I’m doing something wrong let me know. Cool future idea: allow a background picture to be imported and then draw lights on top..... Please help with my recording program

Perfect for kids. I learned that this game is awesome I have a cousin who is the child by the way because I am a child to in this game is awesome I also love the fact that you can enter your painting to see all the stuff that’s going on it’s literally my dream come true my personal heaven

Good, but maybe better!. This game is not like any other game I have ever downloaded! This game makes everything colorful and fun. Even though there is no true purpose of the game, or no levels or goals, it is an awesome game. I recommend getting this game because it doesn’t tell you “you need to do this”. It lets you do whatever comes to mind. The game Inc. Inc doesn’t let you design your own art, but this dose! It dose have a bit too many adds, but I don’t really mind. One thing you could concenter is to dis this, every time you erase you’re drawing, it makes an add appear. Other than that, this game is the best game I have ever downloaded! Thanks to the creator for making this game. I love art, and I do art every day. You could say my whole life is art, this is the perfect app for me.

So fun and relaxing, love it.....BUT..... Love this app as the light show reminds me of Fremont Street Light Experience in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Super cool. However I believe a warning needs to be posted for people with epilepsy and those who get migraines to avoid this app. The app has a very HIGH potential to cause seizures in someone who is triggered or prone to have seizures from flashing and rapid light movement. The WARNING a really needs to,be there because a parent could get this app for fun for their kid a,d they end up with severe problems. Pleas consider placing this warning, as an RN I saw the potiential for issues rights away. That said.... Fantastic app. Relaxing and fun. Definitely pay the $1.99 to get ads removed and all options available to you. One time pay. I have two,other similar apps I,love but this one takes the cake for modifying and PLAYING WITH THE LIGHTS. Higjly recommend this app as it is so enjoyable, BUT needs the warning to people about seizures. Especially important for parents of kids with seizures. Anyone who has a seizure disorder and is triggered by rapid light movement need to be MONITORED while playing this game. IF A SEIZURE occurs DISCONTINUE play and seek medical,attention. Can’t use rotate on iPhone. I tried using three fingers to rotate however it didn’t do anything so I tried using the assistive touch three finger gesture but touching the screen for more than a second pulls down the Notification Center. You should add arrow controls on screen or something like that so I can enjoy its beautiful 3D nature please I beg you.

Love it so much totally recommend!!!!. So I am a kid who has a small case of autism and a big case of ADHD but this game just helps me collect myself and my thoughts and as soon as I start moving my finger around it fills me with wonder and creativity!!! My only problem is that I love putting lots of colors to make it look colorful but the light is so bright that I can barely see the design if I put too much but otherwise it’s PERFECT!!!!!! I love it and if you’re like me than DEFINITELY GET THIS GAME and I’m no therapist but if real therapists are reading than this game would probably be very soothing for your clients. Excellent app. Really awesome effort with this app, love being able to record loops of my drawings at various durations and resolutions. The AR setting has so much potential would love to be able to draw a little more precisely and directly onto background landscapes and objects as it’s quite restricted. Would love to see some better brushes like sparkles/ stars also, so keep at it, have spread the word across the VJ community.

A literally “glowing” app!. When I think 3D art, I think of things like Minecraft, but this app took it to a new level. You can change filters, make videos and maybe much more. 1 suggestion though, make it so you can add more than 1 pillar. Great effects!. This is a very imaginative app that creates dazzling 3d animations without requiring a lot of artistic skill. I have not seen anything else like it. I would like to be able to email or post some of my creations in action, so I hope the developer will add video and animated gif export options.

Upgrade option crap. Notice of upgrade has taken away all options that were previously available. I don’t have the specific device to upgrade so cannot use this program as I was. No reason for me to continue. I will not support apps from this company!

Needs improvements a lot of them. The real money is in ads?. The one second of app use I had looked promising. But then an Age of Empires demo popped up and hijacked the demo. There was no close button... just an "install now" button. So I uninstalled Forge of Neon. I don't have time for these games.

It’s cool. I highly recommend this app, but not all people can get it because some have very sensitive eyesight sooooo maybe tone down the brightness a little bit (but I get it the game is Forge of NEON). Though overall it’s a great game! ;)

I have one problem with the app. Sooo I have a new iPad got it 3 months ago. (keep in mind I’m in 2020 and you might read this later I hope you know what I mean) so my iPad is updated I did all updates needed And this app keeps kicking me out.I don’t know why and there are already so many ads and it kicks me out as well can the creators please fix this!

Great. The app itself deserves more than this, but seriously, the number of ads is ridiculous. I’m totally fine with the ads that you can just ‘x’ out of, but even with a skip button, these ads are long. Fix that please! All I’m asking is for shorter and/or fewer ads. If you do, I’ll improve my rating to five stars!!

Great game, but.... Don’t get me wrong, this is an amazing game! I love it, and I used to play for hours at a time, but then it got popular, and there became ads, then a lot of ads, then excessive ads, then ads every 30 seconds. It was amazing, but I can’t tell anymore, because I can’t even play the game for 10 seconds without another ad coming up. It was a nice game though. I’m really sad that one of my favorite games aren’t one of my favorites anymore.😭

Best game ever!. I always wanted to be an artist this game is great i love showing my creations to my family and and i’ve already done 24 creations in just a day i love this game! ❤️

Failure to Export as a video. I’m not sure why, but every time I try to save my creations as a video, it will end up saying “Saving Video Failed”. Also, maybe there can be more presets added in the near future?

Fun app, one suggestion. This one of those apps that is just fun. If you mix it with your video screen capture you can instantly make some fun VJ clips. Mr dev, please add text capability. It’s gotta happen. You throw in some retro 80s effects and some stylistic variations like the B&W variation (drier not all glow) and you’ll have a real winner on your hands.

Auto load of full screen ads is a turnoff.. Don't mind ads, but when they take over the whole screen, I do. I might just delete this altogether.

I like this game!. I just downloaded this and I’m a master now! It’s kind of boring because of the ads, but it’s ok! I’m ok with the ads I just skip em, This game is fun! I like the neon colors and you can make previews!

Ads. So yeah there are ads but only show up when you erase what you made and I recommend playing it in airplane mode especially if your in an airplane but the app is fun btw

Fantastic. The best way to doodle away a little stress. Amazing control and genius use three dimensional drawing. The addition of axis views in a recent update made snapping to a design easier.

Great. I loved the app in general, but I was very much annoyed by the fact that every single time you play, it makes you watch adds.

“You can NEVER have too many ads!” Says like no one ever.. Why so many ads? I mean great for when your having a lazy felling where you just want to watch something but COME ON! No one needs ads. This has two solutions. One way is to go to a friend’s house where there is no wi-fi cuz you don’t know the password or just turn it off. So block ads in your next update!

I love forge of neon. I love drawing in space which is what forge of neon does. It transports me and those who see the art I create with it into outer space and I can add music too.

Best coloring app EVER!!!. It’s so COOL!!! You can use different settings and the neon colors make it 100% better!!! You can do it in 2D or 3D. It can be a GIF or a video if you save it. The colors keep moving so the picture is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Amazing. This app will stimulate a lasik surgery, simply tap once for one green light, then create a ball of red colors around the green light, maybe 50/1 then start counting the red lights until you see multiple green lights as a illusion...

AMAZING!. I pretty much have no words for this app except for maybe this is the coolest app I have ever played. I love to make a design in one mode then go out of that mode and go into another one. It keeps the same design and it looks soooo cool in all the different modes.

This app is incredible. Not only can someone build their own digital Laser show. It’s a disco ball! Take a projector and create a light show on the side of your house, dance clubs. Zoom in and out! Amazing app!
