Traveler. Easy for Spanish.

Amazing app I love it!. This app is an amazing translator app. It is fast and easy to use and has an amazing list of languages. The translations are accurate and spoken clearly enough that you can quickly pick up and learn new phrases. This is a great app for anyone that enjoys traveling or just curious about other languages.

helpful and convenient. The app’s updates came in just in time, because we’re heading to Europe for the holiday season. I love that the new version now lets me copy translated text into other applications, because it comes in handy when I’m dealing with emails and messages in a foreign language. Another great feature is that it allows me to access translations even when I’m offline. Thumbs up!

Great Translation App!. I'm really impressed with this app. It is unbelievable how good and clear most of the audio translations are. They sound like voices you'd hear on high-dollar translation software porgrams...like real people! I'm fluent-ish in German, and can say that everything I translated from English to German produced a spot-on translation. Another cool feature is that your translations are saved, so you can quickly access any phrases you might need to use more than once. This app alos gets my vote for the best icon / logo in the entire app store.

Awesome App!. Easy to use and love the diversity of languages. It is really helpful not only hear the translation, but to see in writing. The only thing that would make it better would be if the pronunciation were a bit slower. But voice is clear.

Great app!. When my family came to visit from Japan, it made it much easier to communicate with them!!! It was also pretty accurate. I love this app! The translation from Japanese back to English needs a little bit of work, but for the most part it definitely exceeded my expectations!

One way street. This app is excellent for translating a language from English to whichever you should so choose. It is very accurate to grammatical and structural formatting. To the point that native speakers of said language are impressed with the accuracy. However, in the matter of translating Prescribed language to English it does not function properly. It has a glitch that continuously causes the app to close, and should it work for a moment the translation will be inaccurate. The developers have failed to fix in the 6 months time I have used the app. Initially purchased the it to assist with my studies of Russian due to my military occupational requirements. It has been excellent in one direction of the communication with myself and native speakers I know and practice with. It has proven completely useless though, in deciphering some things they might say that I do not yet comprehend. If/when this gets fixed, it will most likely be the best translator on the market, but for the time being: 2.5 out of 5.

Thumbs down. I tried a few simple sentences in three languages I am fluent in, and the translations did not at all reflect the correct meaning. As much as this app may get it right most of the time, I would not dare to try my luck in a language I do not know. Had it shown, only to be inaccurate with complicated sentences, I would not be too concerned, but my tests were rater simple short sentences. Furthermore, it would not speak the translations!

Multi Lingual, with the pain. This is a great way to comment with all languages you run across in your every day work environment. It’s so much better to open the communications to create friendships and better understanding. Now do you have one to allow Republicans and Democrats to communicate?

Perfect app!. Easy to use; multiple languages, hear native speakers pronounce phrases (for most languages), you can store phrases you use frequently, good voice recognition to speak the phrase you want translated; can copy translation to paste elsewhere; has a learning tool; I could go on & on. I've tried several translator apps & find this one 99% accurate & much easier to use. I love it-couldn't get along w/o it now + I'm actually learning the languages! I highly recommend this app!! 5+🌟's!

Translator app usually works well. The app is usually very helpful, but occasionally is unable to provide a reasonsble translation if the query is somewhat complicated. If you state the query words and/or phrases simply, the app can provide a useful translation. In addition, be aware that many French words have multiple meanings (as does English), so be sure you have the appropriate translation.

NJGodmother. Worked well on my trip to Paris. My suggestions would be to slow down the translation and make the volume louder. Frequently the ambient noise made it difficult to hear, on the street, in the market, in a restaurant. But it does work where ordinary dictionary type translators do not! I wasted quite a few dollars before finding this translator.

Very Valuable. This is by far the best app I have so far. This is useful when traveling and just learning a new language. The voice recognition is superb and the intuitiveness of the whole app is excellent. Cool design and many languages to try. Great idea and and app. Well worth the download.

Amazing translation! Great app!. I was very surprised with how many languages this app supports! I am fluent in Russian, so I was able to test its accuracy. It’s amazing…it’s like they took a native Russian speaker. Very clear and accurate pronunciation, it saves previous phrases you translated and its really easy to use. If you are traveling this app is definitely a must!

Very. Good

Not bad, not great with Korean. Works probably well enough to get your point across in Korean but it isn't going to set the world on fire, since many phrases don't quite translate exactly as intended, not bad though and pretty cool how it types out the translation in Korean characters. If they can work the bugs out, and get perfect translations, this program will be a gold mine, and I would gladly pay a few hundred dollars for this kind of program. Remember, you get what you pay for, so don't expect a miracle program when you buy this, but I will say it is worth the current price I paid.

Great App. Extremely helpful while shopping in Mexico. I use the photo option as well as texting option. They both work exceptionally well even in the noisy environment of a busy Walmart. I also use it for German translations I speak quite fluent German but still helpful. Especially helpful in Greece while walking in Athens, and other towns where there are no English signs.

Seriously easy. Very easy translator to use - quick, efficient, and for the most part extremely reliable and accurate. The voice tool works exceptionally well and have used it many times with people from other countries speaking in their native tongue. Want to communicate with someone who speaks a different language? Get this app...It's a no-brainer!

Very poor app. I have tried to use English words translated to Japanese but EVERY time I try entering an English word it deletes English from the language selections. Actually 1 star is ten times to generous a rating for this excuse of an app.

Great app, weird screen. Just bought this and am sure it will be totally wonderful for my trip to Italy this spring. But c'mon -- the globe on a tongue?! Cartoon lips?! Juvenile. After working with it, so far so good! Does everything its supposed to; easy to use. I recommend it.

Great App!. Great app, I love that it has continous updates which makes an already great app even better! Weather you're traveling to other countries or simply want to translate any language, This is one of those apps that you permanently keep in your iPhone! The translations are acurate. It's very user friendly. And most of all it translates text into 54 different languages! Well worth the 1 dollar.

Great app.. This is a great app that works as described. It is even better when used on the iPhone 4s because you can use Siri to enter the words to be translated. It would be even better if you could cut and paste the translation into your messages. I have not been able to figure out a simple way to delete a single translation or clear the input window.

It’s okay. Speaking as an ESL teacher who frequently uses a translator to communicate important info to students with limited English ability, I’m very disappointed in this app. It takes a very long time and multiple translation attempts to get my point across because of inaccurate translations. For example, I wanted to tell my Spanish-speaking students that they could write something it Spanish and I would translate it for them, which should have been translated to something along the lines of “Puedes escribirlo en español y lo voy a traducir,” but the app translated the last part to “luego traducirlo,” ...Which is telling them to write it in Spanish and then translate it. Big difference! There are tons of free translators out there, but I chose to pay for this one because of the rave reviews and visual appeal. And while I do like the look of it, I’m glad it was only a dollar, because I feel that money was wasted.

The app I have been looking for. This app is perfect for my needs. I find myself interacting with people from all over the world and this app has so many languages installed and easy to use that I quickly will look up basic phrases to help communicate while working.

Lifesaver!. This app is truly amazing, The voice support truly makes it shine. i found itso easy to ask for help and let someone hear the app speaking. Way easier than pointing in a book and trying to get help that way. And with so many languages it will really help me overseas.

Translator App. I love it! I think it would be even better if my phone was a bit faster..but also you should develop a speak-command app to make it even faster...also you need to do a phonetic English version for the Chinese and Asian languages because people can't read the writing...but I really love it

User. I travel lot to south America for business and I tray many apps of translation but this app is the best I have seen. There is one thing need to fixed after writing sentence in text box there is no clear button to write next sentence so each time have to clear one by one latter. If this is fixed I would give 5 star .

Disappointed. I purchased this app because it includes the speech feature that the free version doesn't have. The problem is that it doesn't include the speech feature for all the languages listed. This is a misrepresentation. There should be a clear disclaimer that it does not include all languages listed and the ones that don't have the speeech feature should be highlighted.

Doesn't verbally translate. Waste of $. I bought this app cuz a review says it verbally translates. Wrong! The mic for Hebrew has a strike thru it. The developers should state which languages it does & does not verbally translate. Plus, the translation is so small that the native speaker will have to get a magnifying glass to read it. This is useless. How many people are going to take the time to read the small print on my phone??? NONE! This doesn't help me learn the language. I wasted my time & money on this app. Wish I could give it zero stars.

Hit and mostly miss !!. This is by far the poorest translation app in existence. English to Swahili.... type in two thousand and you get 2000. What idiots wrote this program. Should give you Elfu mbili...... and I paid for the Upgraded App. Waste of time and money.

Perfect translation!. Amazing app, it does it all! I was very surprised with the voice quality and with the sheer number of languages this app supports! It has voice recognition, ability to copy translated sentences, and the translation is very accurate. I recently traveled to Russia and this app has been a live saver. It’s like having a personal translator there with you at all times. This app is a must, if you are going to travel to a foreign country. Highly recommended!

Works well. This really supports a lot of languages. And the voice is now very clear, thanks for the update. I love the frequent updates on this app, it gets better and better. Don't make it complex though, I like the way this works.

Great app. This is a great translator. I have used in areas where there is background noise, and I still get an accurate translation in Spanish to English & English to Spanish. It does require clear speaking and proper pronunciation. I am happy with this app. I recommend it to those who need to practice a language

Great. Definitely helped with Spanish lessons

Arabic does not work.. Does not translate (work) form Arabic to English. The App turns off when translating from Arabic to English. It only works when translating form English to Arabic

Voice Translator App. Great voice translator App! I use it for conversations with my Russian mother-Inlaw. Now the makers of this app need to translate other languages by voice into English. That would make it perfect!

Great app!. This is a great translator, with very accurate translations from speech! Highly recommended. I asked the developer to add copying ability to translated text, and to even out the voices on playback, and they updated the app with these features! This shows you that the developer stands behind their product, and for that, you should support them! A great value anyways, 5 stars!!

Big problem. The app keeps translating only the first letter of the first word no matter what I do. If this is fixed then perhaps this app is good. >:(

Barcelona. Just returned from Barcelona. This was a great help, especially if you know in advance what you will be doing in advance. It gives you the opportunity to get some phrases prepared in advance. Speak slowly keep the background noise to a minimum.

Contractor. Very solid aap! Would recommend this to anyone who has a need to converse in other language. Students, business people, medical, law enforcement and on and on!!

Nicely done. The audio input is really helpful, but it is not available in all languages. The app works very smooth and has helped us a few times.

Mandatory. It's broken barriers and taught me many languages! Must have it if your a constant traveler it's great for others and you to use just say something and it speaks in a different language for you!

Always good to know the translation. I have the need to communicate with several Spanish speaking countries,and could not do it very well without this Translator.

Translator. Easy to use. German was translated correctly. Only item I wish it had was the ability to speak a phrase and have it translated rather than type it in. A little slow this way for conversations but a good translator overall.

The App that is a Tutor. This is so good!! It's a step above the flashcard memorization because this app will help in conversation putting together in a sentence the grammar you've already learned. It's nearly like a tutor.

Wi fi only. Apple iPhone bought in USA does not work in south America. Hard to find wifi in remote areas of course. Just when you need the translator the most. Not good if traveling in non tourist areas!!!!!!! With wifi or mobile broadband works good, would give 5 stars if could work with out service.

Russian To English. This app crashes to the iPhone home screen when going from Russian to English even though designed for it. Customer support is ZERO. I went to their website to complain and still have no response from email I sent asking why??? No updates yet to fix this major bug. 1/2 useless app = 1/2 useless rating.

Incredible!. Are used this app all the time. I use it to translate conversations between other non-English-speaking friends, and to translate quotes and movies.

User of Ap. Comes in handy and have used often for informational purposes or for pronunciation of a word. Would be better with an Off-Internet option as when out of Country Internet costs to use makes it prohibitive.

Russian Invasion. My future daughter-in-law is Russian and obtained her US citizenship last year. Her family is here for the wedding. Although she speaks English fluent, her family doesn't. This app does a pretty good job on translating.

Two really good points.. Don't bother with the Free App of this, does not support speech and would be very tedious in real world application Also, importantly, will write the phrase it thinks you made in English, and then translate to new language. This avoids a lot of confusion. Well worth the dollar.

Super, Super, Super!. I love this app! The translations are very sophisticated even for tough languages like Chinese. For Spanish, which can differ from Mexico to Spain, it does a great job as well.

Government Worker. I use it for work and I find it very helpful. It works great for Spanish/English. The spell check in English is distracting but that is the IPhone issue.

Excellent app. I travel to Mexico and Colombia quite often. My Spanish is very poor. I rely on this APP to translate Spanish to English and vice versa. It has never failed. And I am actually learning Spanish.
