It’s been a fabulous family tool!. I was introduced to this by a fellow employee who works at the public school I teach at. At first I subscribed to have another tool to help calm my mama heart with a new teenage boy driver. I just wanted to make sure he got from point A to point B safely. But it’s turned into the whole family using it for many reasons. My younger daughters see if moms on her way home from work or staying longer (cuz I don’t always respond to texts as soon as they would like but they can see on the app I am still at work). My son now will see where I am at (location alerts at grocery stores and gas stations have been set up) and he will message and ask if I can grab something. Or when he is on his way home he runs errands and I can see about time wise how he is doing on being home for dinner. It’s the little things that have helped everyone out and helps things run just a little smoother. I am not one to watch him like a hawk on his privacy which I know teens can oppose to being watched. He knows I can peek anytime I want to know where he is at but we both know trust is earned both ways and as long we respect each other there has been no trouble whatsoever. He is almost 18 now and Life360 will continue to be a tool for my family as my other children grow up and spread their wings and aren’t as home as much.

Peace of mind, life saver. My family has had Life360 for 5 years, since my son started driving. He is now in college. I always explained to him that by having access to his whereabouts, I didn’t need to call him or have him call me all the time. I held to that promise. Even in college, when I need peace of mind, I check to see he made it back to his apartment. I never comment to him or ask him to call me all the time. He understood that as a Mom, I would worry about him. I also gave him access to my location when he went to college as a sign of mutual respect. Life360 came in handy when he was 16 and was in car accident. He didn’t know where he was and within seconds I had directions directly to him. He’s had multiple accidents and this tool has helped out each and every time. I turned off the capability to monitor his speed and driving halfway into his senior year of high school because I knew it was time to trust. Plus, the conflicts over the information began to wear on me. Early on, it’s was very helpful and productive. After a year or two it just became a source of conflict. He’s 20 now. I can see his location. anytime I want, though I rarely check. It has helped me be a better, less nagging parent.

Long story not gonna tell it all! Also I’ve never left a review on anything EVER!!. Went to a wedding. Had a nice time met up with my significant friend after the wedding we went to a shop not gonna say what kind but while we were in there browsing and chit chatting with the employee I got distracted. When it was time to check out I left my phone on the counter this had to be 3 AM. I went all the way home entertained my friend and then about 6/7AM. I realize I did not have my phone so I called my mom from his phone and told her to check the Life360 to see where my phone was she told me my phone was moving. Then it stopped moving at one location, and then it looked like the phone died. I went to that location which was a residential location. I did circles around the block because the pin kept dropping towards the alley of this residential area, I decided to knock on a random door in the front and the person that came to the door was the employee at the shop. He clocked out and took my phone with him because he didn’t want the next employee to steal it when he answered the door he said oh its you here’s your phone his room was in the back of his home, which is why the pin was dropping towards the alley of the location. life360 is just that precise. Find my iPhone does not do that. I’ve been a fan of Life360 ever since.

Use for running a business. We are a farm plus retail store combination business. We grow and sell all our farm products to the public in our community. It really helps us to use LIFE360 to keep our employees mobile and able to coordinate meet ups within the groups. We can plan arrivals by watching the travel route and timing of each other. As the office coordinator, I can use their direct travel paths during each work day to verify if they’ve been at designated work areas while on the clock or if they went grocery shopping for their household while on the clock- which is a form of theft by payroll. If I could suggest that way be made that we can use life360 saved locations as we use google maps to plot a course before heading there, that could also help us. Another thing that would help some of us would be if there was a way to set a time to begin tracking and end tracking in a lot given day. My employees don’t mind sharing their whereabouts during work times but If they simply turn the sharing off, then they don’t remember to turn it back on. If we could set a schedule, so it’s automatically on those times/days, that could help our forgetful selves. Lol thanks for a great app and all its features so far.

5+ stars!!!. A couple of years ago My mom suffered from “Transient Global Amnesia”. I’ve never heard of it.... but let me tell you it’s a very scary thing to happen to someone you love. It’s when there’s a Temporary loss but almost total disruption of short term memory, it can last between 2-8 hours. The first time this happened to her, we didn’t have the Life360. She was leaving the gym and had no clue where she was at and why she was there. I thank God that some sweet people were there to help her back in and were able to call us. My brother had heard about the Life360 app and we quickly put on her phone. A year later it happened again (there is no cure from this, once it happens once it can happen again, we’ve been able to kinda figure what tributes to it) but again She had no idea why she was sitting in a car at a grocery store parking lot. I was waiting for her at a friends house and she was late. When I called her she didn’t know who I was or even who she was. I was able to track her down with the Life360 app..... which was the best invention ever for me and my family. I was able to get to her and rush her to the hospital. Without this app.... I don’t even want to think of what could of happened. We have it on all our phones, our kids are not big fans but they’ve had some close calls when dealing with bad weather and getting stuck somewhere and we’ve been able to get to them. So they’ve come to appreciate it. Thank you Life360!!!!

STILL FRUSTRATING. UPDATE II: I still seem to have issues now with my moms tracking. I’ve checked the settings and all is correct. But, it still shows her at home since November 25, 2020. My daughters seemed to have resolved itself of previous problems. But, in good conscience, I just cannot give this app more than two stars at this time due to continued issues. Get your app together L360. It’s long over due. 🤨 UPDATE: Developers were very quick to reach out and try to help with a resolution. I give them kudos for that. However, I opted to not pursue their suggestions again because they were taking me down the exact same road as my previous THREE times I’ve had concerns to report. It doesn’t fix the problems. It never does. So, for the sake of my sanity, it’s no longer worth my time nor the frustration. I will let my subscription expire and will purchase the HUM tracking device. My dad has had it well over a year without a single issue whatsoever. This app is USELESS!! It will not update locations. It consistently shows my daughter at home when I know she’s at school. It randomly decides when the heck it’s going to work. I’ve contacted systems help. I’ve done EVERYTHING to make sure our settings are correct. THEY ARE!! It STILL won’t work. We paid the $$ to have the premium service too and it’s a complete waste of money. It gives me ZERO piece of mind. I’ll very soon be looking for a new tracking app. Can’t wait to get RID of this one. 😡

Peace of Mind. I’ve had this had for about 4 years now. My teens, age 19 & 16, are in my circle. At times some of their friends have asked me to add them as well. My daughter is away at college and has circles with her sorority sisters and friends. It gives me such peace of mind to look and see where my kids are. If they are driving, as long as they are moving, it lets me know they are okay. And to know I could locate them in an emergency if needed is very helpful. I do not stalk them. In fact they use it to track my location more than I do theirs!! But if I don’t recognize a location, and I can’t get them to answer a text, I will call. But that happens very rarely. I understand that some have a problem with location tracking apps and feeling like it’s a violation of privacy. That’s just something you will have to work out with your family. As for me & my family, this works great for us. I did have to turn off the sound notifications though because every time it would alert, the dogs ran to the back door barking & waiting for the kids to come in. They had been trained that the sound meant the kids were home. The problem was sometimes they were just driving by the house, since the school is just a mile down the road!!

1 year plus review. I’ve had this app for over a year now! I’ve paid for the silver addition and have had the free one! In the last few months the prices went up and place notifications decreased while also the days of history went from 3 days to 2 ! Also the location history is quite often not accurate! I will look back at where I’ve driven and places I’ve been. They will not show up correct. Or if my daughter is near a saved location but not actually there it will show after she’s got to the saved location like she’s been there all along which is not accurate! I use apple location to back up this information. The crash dectection is supposed to detect a crash at over 25 mph which it didn’t work recently when my daughter was in an auto accident! Her miles for the drive were 41 mph and she did come to a stop because it showed her at that location for over 30 minutes with ambulance and police there taking report! I actually looked this over when I remember it was supposed to detect a crash with a speed over 25 mph and coming to a stop! So a lot of the features that are advertised you don’t get or are not correct! It’s really hard then to know how accurate this app really is! Location sharing is always on and so is wifi so the app shouldn’t be making so many errors! If they wanted to charge more for a subscription and offer free they should provide more accurate location history! I’m not sure it’s worth the money any more

Used this app for over 5 years. Okay, let’s start by saying that no one is perfect and neither is this app. That being said, as a family, we have used this for many years. Occasionally, the GPS locator is off or there is a delay but overall, it’s given us serious peace of mind when making sure people we love are safe and their location. I should also note that we do not used the paid version so I’m not sure if the paid version upgrade has fewer glitches but overall I’d still say it’s absolutely great. On a funny note, we are a very conservative family and have different standards for “dating”. Our oldest daughter had a boyfriend and we had not allowed them to be off by themselves. She was working at a local restaurant and her boyfriend asked if he could drive her to work. We said yes but it was a cautious yes. About 15 minutes after they left, I opened Life360 and noticed that it showed they were not at her work but on a country road not far from there. I immediately called her work to catch her in a lie only to have her answer the phone! 😂 That episode was nearly 5 years ago and that type of glitch with the GPS seems to happen less frequently. But that said, a little parenting advice is to confirm before you react if it shows the person you are following isn’t EXACTLY where they’re supposed to be.

One of the best apps I have purchased. There are so many ways to use this app. As a busy mom, I like to put in alerts when my husband reaches a certain point on his commute home so I know when to start dinner. Also, finding my lacrosse player kiddos on a huge lacrosse tournament field has been stressful in the past, now it is easy to locate and keep track of the three of them on a busy tournament weekend. I understand that there is controversy about spying on my kids whereabouts, but as a parent it is nice to know that they are where they say they are going to be, or to know where to pick them up if they don’t know the address. And with teen drivers, having the crash detection and the high speed alerts gives me a lot more comfort when they are in the roads. My kids all know that we have this app and that we occasionally look in on them, but we also balance that up with having adult conversations about responsibility and in reality having the app allows them more freedom with us. I would highly recommend this app for parents as one of the many tools we use to parent and protect our kids. We have added my mother to our circle and she gets such a huge kick out of seeing where we are on any given day. I think it gives her a sense of closeness even though we live states apart. Also for me, as she is aging. Having a general idea of her daily activities can help alert me if something is off. Highly recommend!

Great app for families trying to manage a busy schedule. I have read the comments about “death of parenting trust” and completely disagree. This is just a other tool to use while you are responsibly parenting. They are kids for goodness sake. No matter how much you trust them, it is necessary to find them sometimes when your child has her ringer off on her phone and forget to tell you where to pick them up after the football game. This is an incredible app for determining when the sports bus will be returning back to the school after a late game and if they have returned home safely from school when you are at work and your teen forgets to touch base. Most times, my teen just tells me to “360” her when I am picking her up from a sports dinner when she can’t remember the address of the teammate’s house. With the app, I feel safer when my tween wants to ride bikes with friends or go to the candy store since I know exactly where to pick her up when she calls. Also, it goes both ways. My children know where my husband and I are and how quickly we will be to their location to pick them up. I have recommended this app to countless friends and sportsparents and will continue to do so.

Love Life 360!. I purchased this app when my 16 year old began driving almost 2 years ago. I found it very reassuring to know where he was, of course, but the (safety) circle and drive detection are truly my favorite features. The circle alerts you, and other selected people of your choice, if the car has been in an accident. It can be used to call for emergency services, tow trucks, etc. It’s a fantastic feature to have. I hope we never have to use it, but you just never know. The drive detection feature is also terrific. This feature gives me a weekly and daily snapshot of my child’s average driving speed, her braking, rapid acceleration and other good information. Not only does it let me see his driving habits, it also helps with our insurance costs. The longer he drives safely and follows the law, the more of a discount we get. I’m sure this depends upon your insurance provider, but insuring a teenage driver is expensive so every little bit helps! Now, back to the location services. I have a daughter in middle school now and I really appreciate being able to locate her at all times. She and her friends like to walk and bike and we live in a frightening world. I like the comfort and security of knowing I will always be able to locate both of my children. I highly recommend this app. It is a great tool for families.

Thoughts About This App. I was wondering Why can’t you do a Update for this app for like when your Family Member has paused there Location I was Wondering for the Person who created the Family group that is me I want to be Able to Be In control if when they want to paused or Stop Sharing Location I want to be able to decide if I want to let them paused it or stop sharing location because my Brother has Mental issuers I need to keep Tabs on him he put a location on paused and he does not answer his phone and I need to worry about him because he does not listen he does not go to class he waits outside and does not do work at all so he gets locked out but he does not come home to tell us that he got locked out instead he just wait there and last time he couldn’t make it Because he was having Double breathing and something so he just waited in the ally then he came home when school finish and then he told us so I want to be able to know he is Safe and we’ll without him knowing I can control his location in private so he won’t know I Unpaused his Location and i want to choose if I will let him paused his location or stop sharing so please Can you do that if you can because I don’t want my grandma having to worry so much she is old so she does not need to be stress and he is like 17 so if you can make an update like that it will be very helpful (Thanks for reading my Comment)

Great when used properly. I know the negative reviews around this app are mostly focused on parents who monitor their children to an extreme and inappropriate extent, or even couples with trust issues who use this to watch their partners. Me and my family (including my partner) use this app to stay safe. It’s always good to have the extra insight on location in case anything ever goes wrong. It gives updates on location and shows speeds as well. I was debating giving it 3-4 stars because of the paid aspect, but after thinking about it, the features you get with the free version are still pretty good, and the paid version isn’t too expensive so all in all it’s worth it. This is a great app for keeping safe and it’s super effective as well. Very accurate and has LOTS of safety features including emergency service, crash detection, location arrival/leave, etc. This app is really great when used properly, I’m able to see when my friends arrive home safely after a night out, or when my partner gets home from work late at night. You can also send little messages with the quick message feature which me and my partner love very much. I send her little “love ya” messages while she’s at work and she thinks it’s adorable. Keep up the good work life360! You keep me and my family safe!

Stellar tracking and geofencing app. Update: Previous five star review below downgraded to two stars because Life360 no longer integrates with IFTTT. Because Life360 coordinated the location of all my family members I could use it to turn off the alarm and unlock the door when the first family member arrived home and then lock the doors and turn on the alarm when the last family member left. I could also use it to adjust the Ecobee thermostat depending on whether or not anyone was home. The default location service of IFTTT isn’t able to distinguish whether anyone else is home so the family location coordination suffers when trying to manage smart family apps. I’m not sure if the integration issue is a Life360 problem or an IFTTT problem but I give both services only two stars now instead of previous five stars. My understanding is that Life360 is working on this and if it ever reintegrates I will gladly repost a 5 star rating. —————- Continues to be a premier tracking and geofencing app. I use it along with SmartThings and IFTTT to turn off my alarm and unlock the door when family members arrive home (and vice versa when the last person leaves.) Not sure if life 360 is still getting slammed by negative reviews from the TikTok TeenyTots but you can bet that the more negative the review they might leave the more assured you can be as a parent that this is a must have app.

Great for concerned families. We started out as a family of 4 then we had a beautiful blessing, adding a baby boy to our family we went from 4 of us to 5 of us, having a baby only made things harder on me as a single mother and trying to manage the locations of my teenage boys. My oldest son found his 1st love and I found the daughter I never had. Let’s not forget my mother who helps me hold everyone together like glue, she is probably the biggest worry wart. We are all linked together in this one app that always gives us some peace of mind, trust, and just a little less anxiety to worry about, I know when not to bother the teens who drive with a call or text message that can wait until they reach their destination and avoid an unnecessary distraction from their eyes on the road. I get alerts from this app when they leave and arrive as do they for me who is the nurse who never gets out of work on time, the family gets nothing but peace of mind at all times. We’re all in sync with Life 360 Family application. I recommend it to anyone who has good intentions and needs a peace of mind that their loved ones are okay. Just keep in mind that each member has to be trustworthy enough to keep their location on or it can be a little stressful. I’m in the process of getting my tiles for everyone so they have an alarm for their keys, wallet or bag… name your choice but it’s a small token size object that can be thin enough for a wallet or hook on to a key ring.

Absolutely the best. 💯. Monitoring and Tracking suspected cheating wife and activities at work. However some great app couldn't grant all access I needed to detect and catch my wife red handed in her deceptive ways. It all started when I had a suspicion on her with some recently inherited behavior like staying out late nights after work, being clingy to her phones and so on. I came to the internet to find a lasting solution to solve my marital problems. Thank God, after checking through positive reviews, how he helped a woman catch her cheating husband red handed. I reached him via his mail at “HackerWeblord @ gmail . com”and he requested for certain info such as my spouses phone number and phone model. Within hrs I got a notification popped up on my phone it was from the expert. He gave me a spy link which I accessed with my phone web browser there I was able to see all of his texts, call logs, WhatsApp, Snapchat, deleted conversation, social media shared pictures and videos etc as if I got her phone in my palms. It's really a great opportunity to use the service. If you got similar issues right now I'll strongly advise you write him for an excellent spying and tracking services. This is the most highly recommended and genuine services that works efficiently than the spam py apps. You can text him for very awesome service.

So helpful!. I’m a middle child, I work two jobs, go to school part time and volunteer on the side. I come from a family of busybodies where no one seems to know where anyone is or when they are coming home. This gets frustrating when dinner planning comes around and things need to be done in the house. We also have a few family members with serious health issues so having Life360 has been a literal lifesaver. We are a very open family so compromising privacy was never a concern for us. I’m so impressed with this app. You can add in locations like work and school so my mom knows when I’m leaving work and how fast I’m driving or I can see how long my dad was at his doctors appointment. There’s an SOS option for emergencies, directions to family members location and arrival notifications. It’s very easy to use and WAY better than just using the location service on the iPhone. It doesn’t seem to use a ton of data and if my 70 year old father can figure it out I’m sure anyone can. I’m hearing there’s teens out there trying to ruin this apps reviews on TikTok?? I would have loved this app as a teenager. Build a more honest and open relationship with your parents before trying to take down a company that is actually working to keep others safe. This app obviously wasn’t designed to expose rebellious teens. I would highly recommend this app.

Thank goodness. I had a hard time letting my daughter go places because I just didn’t trust people. After getting this app I started letting her go to playdates and sleep overs all I asked from the parents was to inform me of any plan changes. Well sadly this family thought it was okay to drop off my daughter and theirs to another house to babysit so they all could go to the bar. The app reported she was in another location and I called her only to hear her say she was uncomfortable and the kids they wanted her to babysit were under 5 years old, she didn’t know what to do or how to keep them from screaming. I was furious my daughter has never took care of kids or trained to. I called the parents and they acted as that was not a big deal. It was 11pm about to be 12am, I told them you ether get my daughter and her friend from that house or I will drive down there and I will call the police for endangerment of all the kids. My daughter normally is 5-10 minutes away from our home but this family relocated and now were a hour away. I was upset but not wanting my anger to get the best of me. It has been three years now she has gone once or twice for sleep overs but now they respect my wishes and always let me know if they plan to go to a playground or something else. This app gives me a peace of mind and lets me know where she is at all times today she’s 11 years old and understands the importance to report herself and voice her questions and concerns.

A very well designed and developed app that does what it says it does.. It’s pretty shocking how many people want to leave negative reviews about an app that does exactly what it says it does. If you don’t like what it does, why did you use it to begin with? If you’re like me and you have a very young daughter and the family that drives a lot, it’s nice to know where everyone is at all times without having to make a phone call or send a text message while you’re driving, for example. For those who say that you’re a bad parent if your kid sneaks out of the house at 2a, that sounds like something a sneaky child might write 😉. I had good parents, and I did some sneaky things as a teen. People aren’t perfect. But if something goes wrong (like an auto accident or a kidnapping), this app might help, and it certainly helps if you’re trying to find them at a location when they are in a loud room or not near their phone. I use it to know when my parents (senior citizens) are arriving at my home or meeting me somewhere, since they are challenged with directions. I can see when family members are going to be home based on their location, without having to interrupt them while they’re driving. I use this app every day and love it.

Saved my dads life. If you’re even thinking about getting this app, DO IT. My parents, my husband & I are all on one circle, so we can see each other’s locations. Originally it was bought because my husband is in law enforcement and couldn’t have his phone on him at work so I had no way of knowing if he made it safely when he was in a hurry to get to work on time (over an hour drive on interstates etc) Well now, 3years later.. my dad was in a bad motorcycle accident on a back country road headed home from his friends house in the middle of the night. I got the text message saying he may have been in a collision, and to check on him. I immediately called him with no answer, called my mom and within 10 mins of the accident she was on her way to him. This app gave us his exact location within 30 feet of him. This app allowed us to get him to the hospital with a depressed skull fracture, severely dislocated shoulder & several scrapes, etc requiring medical attention. Without Life360 my dad may have died on the side of the road before anyone even knew he was there. This app literally saved my dads life. Every single person we know is downloading it and sharing it with their loved ones as I type this. Thank God for Life360. Thank you to the developers for creating this app that allowed me to get my dad the help he needed, before it was too late.

Super Accurate !!!!!! but not satisfied enough. Been with a cheating partner is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had trouble keeping track of a handful cheating partner’s phone. I tried several apps to assist me but I was met with ill-luck. Weeks ago I feel awful with my partner’s cheating attitude. I really want to catch him red handed, so I purchased this app hoping it would help unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with it’s features as I needed to monitor my partner’s closely. I then spoke to a friend & neighbor and he recommended a private investigator named Dwayne. I sent him a mail at Dragonspy247@gmail•com explaining how I wanted to have complete access to my partner phone call log, text, social media activities deleted or not and his precise location day in day out. I paid for Dwayne service and not up to 24hrs he contacted me and gave me a URL link to gain complete access to my partners phone as if I had it in my palms. What I saw was unbelievable and I am hugely disappointed, not surprised. I used the evidence I got to file for a divorce as soon as I could. I’m thankful to Dwayne for helping me out of my dilemma and affirming my suspicion. If you’re having trust issues and need valid evidence concerning your partner’s attitude, how about you contact Dwayne? He just might be of help bringing to light what’s been hidden from you.

Great App!. I love this app because I can keep up with my family while they are away or on the go. It tells me the speed of the car to make sure the teenagers are driving safe. It also has a “driving safe mode” and a “wreck detector mode” on the app when you upgrade which is also another good thing about the app it’s really cheap to upgrade and all the upgrades come with better features and more things you can see. This app alerts me when my husband arrives and leaves any place I mark on the map but without the upgrade it will only allow you to get alerts with 2 locations you have marked on the map with the upgrade you get the option to get alerts with more then one location which is a lot better. I don’t use the app to spy on my husband or kids I use it for their safety and to know they are okay when they leave our home. I highly recommend this app! I do have one downer about this app the locations of your peers do not work while their “save battery mode” is on or if they don’t have service or WiFi and if their phone needs to be charged once the battery gets to low then it want work as well but it will alert you to remind them to charge their phone. You can also message them on the app and react like “love” or “thumbs down” on their location. One more thing that I love is it also tells you their route and the locations they have been the whole week. I hope everyone enjoys the app like my family does!

Good intention, but ruins relationships. I understand this app was made with the intention of being a safety tool. I 100% agree with that, and I think it can be a wonderful tool if used correctly. However, my mother is one of those helicopter parents that spends her entire life on that app stalking her kids. As an 18 year old, I am so tired of my mom constantly stalking my location and texting me if I forget to tell her that my friends and I are stopping for food first. For God’s sake, I’m an adult! I’m my own person. For the parents out there that constantly stalk there kids and use this as a punishment tool, YOU are the problem, not this app. You created a simple safety app into an app that completely ruins your relationship with your kids because your intentions may be good, but your implications are that you have no trust in your kids. That hurts when you’re a good kid that’s done nothing wrong, gets great grades, gets into a great college, and literally stays inside all day. To the developers, you’ve done nothing wrong creating this app for safety purposes. Parents who feel like they have to have control on every aspect of their child’s life, do better. They are people too. I’m tired of hearing teenagers suffering like me and feeling like they don’t have control of their own life because their parents constantly stalk their every move. How about you set boundaries and create trust instead?

Incredible phishing service. Honestly, I’m amazed with the concept of this tracker users interface with enhanced usability, and it’s pretty amazing how I used the location feature for what i was looking for. The issue of missing my husband’s location for days, i needed to try and locate him in real time He was in a conversation with his College ex-girlfriend and he was acting sneaky, I was recommended this tracker i gave Couple’s bang the Rootkits and he was able to perform the perfect heist and I was being able to phish out everything he was up to. So it’s happening that I’m ending the relationship with him and i’m pretty sure he has absolutely no idea that I know of everything he is up to…try on C O U P L E S P H O N E T R A C K E R 1 @ G M A I L COM. for reliable spoofing experience with accurate unprotected encryption of your Husband’s phone. Thank you to each and every one of my family who sent me messages and offered advice and support. No option to hide location without EVERYONE being notified. Same as title you cannot have any privacy period- for extremely strict, nosey and untrusting Parents this app is a dream come true!!! But for Teenagers to young adults who are trying their hardest to enjoy the freedom they deserve, this app couldn’t be any worse. If you even TRY to hide your location or turn it off EVERYONE will know it is off without fail- there seems to be a misunderstanding in apps like these and how they are used, some people will say things like “communication is key” “you just have to be honest” etc but if we just want to be away from our family and relax with friends or going out and we have the world’s strictest parents then it’s not “just about communication” it’s about the freedom we WANT and DESERVE- a few months ago I did discover a way to hide my location without anyone knowing but apparently it seems to have been patched so in other words there goes my last hope into being able to have any sibilance of freedom. I wish the creator of life 360 or someone anyone in the dev team would understand things like this and make it a actual OPTION in the app for us to HIDE our location without ANYONE being notified period. I hope this review reaches the right people and the creators realize that some parents in family’s only want one thing- Control over their children in all ways , no privacy and no boundaries.

Good But Needs Improvements. This app is great in many ways but at the same time it also lacks a lot. I have had the app tell me that my son left school in the middle of the day and was showing him in the middle of a farm field. He in fact was at school and never left. It isn’t always accurate in showing where someone is and will show them 2-3 buildings down or across the street (but eventually does reload to reflect the correct location). When you go to review someone’s drive that has been completed it doesn’t show the actual drive but has just jagged lines that shows you drove through the middle of buildings, fields and across neighborhoods. I have had the app state that my drive had “hard breaking” when in fact I didn’t (not even close). My daughter has also been in two accidents where one actually totaled her car and I was not notified by the app of the accident. The idea of it is great but they have a lot to work on. Talking with their customer service is pointless as it is obvious that they are just reading from a prompt and don’t actually listen to your concerns or have knowledge of the app. Yes, it does help but if you are wanting to know exact routes you child took to get to their destination this is not the app for you. If you child has hard breaking reports don’t be too hard on them because there is a large chance that it didn’t actually happen.

A must have for every family!. My family loves this app. A few of the reasons we love this app : we can check on my elderly in-laws who make a long commute and go through an hour of no service several times a week. Before we go to bed at night we get to see if they are not home. They also have a house out of state so when one of them goes by themselves out of state we can track their move if they were to be stopped on the side of the road and perhaps had vehicle trouble. My husband is a police officer and when I see he’s running late in the evening I always check this app and I can see where he’s at my local town and then I assume he’s on a call, verse at the store picking something up about to be home, and I can plan dinner accordingly. I have got another side of the family using it and we love it for the same reasons & more. No more asking where sew and sew is that they don’t answer their phone we can see oh they might be at the doctor or picking up the kids from school, they are stuck in traffic and that’s why they are not home yet. The teenagers in the family of course are not a big fan because this tracks speed, phone usage and location... but in times they wanted help on a long trip it has been a God send even to them. It’s a great gauge for even adults to pay attention to how many times you grab your phone or how many times you are speeding and then risk of a ticket which could make your insurance go up or cause a wreck. This is a fantastic app!

This is hands down the best and most important app on our phones! Thank you!!. As a user of Life360 for many years, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this app. With our family spread across the county, Life 360 gives us all extreme peace of mind. Even our 23 year old son (at the Naval Academy), and our 20 year old daughter in college, appreciate knowing where we, their parents, are. It was incredibly easy to locate them if I had to pick them up at a high school party. If they needed to contact us because they wanted to come home, yet didn’t want their friends to see notifications of texts going back and forth, we’d communicate through the app. Most importantly, because we are their parents and we’ve paid for their phone, that is just part of the deal. We’ve paid for your phone and your plan, then you must have this on your phone at all times, and they’ve never had a problem with that. We’ve never used it as a way to spy on them, but in this day and age in this crazy world, it’s a tool for increased safety. Actually, our 20 year old daughter appreciates us being able to “check-in” on her whereabouts and safety without having to call or text all the time. This was especially useful when she was in high school. There are so many great aspects of this app, and it’s incredibly user friendly. I will continue using Life360 for many, many years to come. Thank you Life360 for peace of mind and the ability to have a good night’s sleep for these past 6 years.

Family safety and trust. I started life 361 after my daughter started driving and going out with her friends in the evening. It was a way for me to know where she was in case of an emergency, and not to track her every movement. I knew there would come a time when I would have to trust in her but life 360 gave me a little more confidence. I did the same for my son when he started driving. I also added my husband who is a contractor and drives all over town and has a heart condition so if something ever happened to him I would never known where he was. life360 also gave me confidence knowing I could find him if necessary. I had to make it clear to my family that this was not being used as a tracking device but a safety device and we have never had a problem. One other feature is that it tracks how fast you drive. I have actually been called out by my two teams that when coming to pick them up from a Friends house I was driving over the speed limit. I would highly recommend this app and hope you can stay in business because it really is a good safety tool so long as you use it that way, and trust in each other knowing that it’s for everyone’s safety. FYI many colleges nowadays also have a similar app.

The death of trust and good parenting. Edit: The newly added bubble method is a great way to keep safe while still giving your kids some degree of privacy. This new feature actually makes me want to update my review from a 1 star to 4 stars. I still believe that incorrect usage of the app creates a bad relationship of trust between your kid and you but these new features help kids be independent and helps their parents know they are safe. Honestly what this app does is show parents lack of trust in their kids. If your kid is sneaking out all the time who’s fault do you think it is? It’s YOUR fault. It’s a reflection of you bad parenting ability. A good parent builds trust with their kid where they wouldn’t go against their parents. This app destroys trust. If you are tracking your kid you think they won’t do stuff or sneak out anyway? Kids are smart obviously much smarter then you. After testing this app there are various easy loopholes to make you seem like your somewhere else or to break the app from working in general. Maybe instead of pushing your kid farther from you and putting them in chains you should take the opportunity to address the issue and build your relationship with your kid. This app is greatest at pushing your kid away from you and allowing parents to take the easy way in addressing the issue while ruining their relations with your kid.

Connects our whole family. This App allows me to keep tabs on my aging mother and my children. My mom still drives, which makes me pretty nervous when she drives from Florida to New York by herself. My children are not quite driving age yet but they crave more independence and this App gives me a lot of peace of mind when they’re out riding their bikes around the neighborhood or going to creek stomp with neighbor friends. I always know exactly where they are. I also like the location check-in feature. I get notified when they arrive at school, or leave a friends house. I can see when the bus is about to drop them off. And I can see all the places my very active retired mother travels to… “mom, what are you doing in New Orleans?! And how many times do I have to ask you, PLEASE don’t text and drive!” Baby boomers are so head strong! LOL I am so much more optimistic for the future and my kids driving, knowing I’ll be able to keep an eye on their speed, and mobile device usage while they’re driving. Highly recommend to anyone with children, or an aging parent you need to keep tabs on. If my mom ever fell asleep during one of her “road trips”, or had a medical event and crashed with no one around, I would be notified and could call 911 and give them her exact location. I can see how this App could be a literal life saver. Thank you Life 360!

Good app and here’s why. I get so many people (mostly teens) feel like it’s an invasion of privacy and such, but it’s better than some other apps out there. With things going on today, I can see why a parent/parents/guardians would want to see where their child/children are going. Im 21, so I grew up with technology changing from flip phones to staying out until the street lights went on and change to people sending texts and FaceTiming on their phones. I also know sometimes kids (not all) can be dishonest and not tell their parents their true intention or location, in other words, you shouldn’t hate this app unless you have something to hide. There are apps that monitor what you do on your phone, so having your family just knowing your location truly shouldn’t be a problem. Im going to University in a different country from where my family is, they use it to make sure I am safe because they are 10+ hours away from me. This app also lets me send out an SOS in case something were to happen. Along with this my family uses it with older family members as well. My grandmother is almost 90 and it keeps us in a good state of mind to know where she is at all times. Overall, this app isn’t something to hate, it gives families security that you’re safe. And like I said, you shouldn’t have an issue with it UNLESS you’re trying to hide something

Excellent app.. I saw this on a dateline show I think years ago and I downloaded it and my whole family is on it and we live within a 150 mile radius of each other so it’s nice to actually see in real time just where everyone is. Especially when they’re traveling. We’ve all had to use the app for jump starts, wrecked cars and just yesterday I accidentally locked myself and my granddaughter out of my suburban and we couldn’t call anyone because our phones were inside the suburban and we didn’t know anyone’s phone numbers. Finally my daughter noticed that we weren’t moving and she called me back and had already contacted Life 360 and she showed up and the tow truck showed up in about five minutes literally. I forgot I had my Apple Watch on! LOL Customer service is amazing but I don’t have the app on my watch and my granddaughter said it doesn’t work on my watch! Please make it work on Apple Watch. Also my granddaughter was stuck in the mud on a lonely dirt road in a dead zone one night and I noticed her sitting in the road for several minutes and wasn’t moving. I texted her and her boyfriend was on his way to her cause all she could do was text. But at least I knew as soon as she started moving again, I knew she was alright. I have the platinum plan and it’s gone up quite a bit since I started using the app, but it’s worth every penny.

Complete invasion of privacy. I am 19 years old and for the most part have myself together pretty well. I don’t get drunk, I don’t do drugs, I don’t get myself into situations I wouldn’t want my parents hearing about or finding out about and I tend to be pretty open when it comes to something that I did the night before that was funny or stupid or or even bad sometimes. I also tell my parents where I’m going and tell them I love them before I leave the house every time. I enjoy staying out later on the weekends and finding things to do with my friends and my mom always questions me of where I’m at and why I’m out so late etc and I feel like parents are so reliant on the app to stalk their kids that they don’t give a rats behind about whether their kids are, oh i don’t know, maybe having fun? Enjoying time with their friends? Just food for thought for any parents reading this review, it may not gain you peace of mind but rather leave you sitting awake at night tracking your kids and pestering them while not even realize you’re being a bother and also losing sleep in the process. Just establish some trust with your kids and let them know you’ll be there if they need them (whether you’ll be mad or not lol) and let them have fun on their own because sooner or later, you won’t have the luxury of talking to them in the morning at the table and asking them how their night went.

This app is amazing!. This apo is SO useful it helps a lot! I love how you can see where your loved ones/ friends or family are at any time! I just have a few suggestions when your at a certain place and someone comes close to you it should tell you that they have arrived at your location. For example if you have Life360 and your mom dose and you are waiting for her to pick you up and someone’s car comes up and you do not know if it is her or not it would not tell you she would be there but if her car comes instead of having to check the app to see if she is near it should give you a notification like “ Mom has arrived in your location” also I like how there is so much tools and stuff like that but I hate how most of them cost money and don’t get me wrong this app saved SO MANY lives but it would be just so amazing if the emergency dispatch thing would be free and all of the other stuff like that because what if someone can’t spend money and there loved one got in a situation and all you have is Life360!? And again I LOVE this app just that please make some of the things free it would really help others! other than that this app is really great and helpful!

So grateful for this app. It may sound counterintuitive, but because I know that I can quickly locate my teens using Life 360 if there to be an emergency or they found themselves in an unsafe situation, my husband and I have been comfortable granting them greater freedom. I understand that some kids have been resistant to downloading Life 360 to their phones, but mine have come to appreciate that we trust them and really don’t need to spy on them or track them; the app is genuinely a tool that provides them safety and relieved our anxiety. I guess we feel that if we didn’t trust them in the first place, Life 360 wouldn’t change that. But, this app has been amazing and grants such peace of mind! My son began attending a school quite a distance from us in just 7th grade, and the only feasible way to get there and back is via subway/commuter rail. My chest tightened at the thought, until other parents told us about Life 360. I can’t tell you how many times this app has saved us - when he’s gotten off at the wrong train stop, or forgotten to text us when he got on the train, or when the train has been delayed, etc. It’s been hugely helpful as far as timing when to meet him. Later, this transferred to expanding his social privileges, knowing that if something didn’t work out quite right, we’d know how get to him. I highly recommend this app - and also explaining to your kids that using it as a safety tool is good for everyone.

My daughter suggested this app. I got this app because my teenage daughter was going to college and “she decided” it would be the best way for us to make sure we both were safe. When we first got it we both loved it. And still pretty much do love it but it has had some glitches like delays in telling me or her where we are at the time and sometimes reporting that her battery is dead on her phone when it’s not. I had one moment when I was in the hospital and her life 360 was saying that her last whereabouts was in a parking lot at 2o’clock in the morning and that her phone was dead I was so worried that I called the local police near her college luckily she was safe and asleep in her dorm it scared me half to death I never wanna be afraid like that again. But at the same time I’m glad it gave me that warning. What really happened was she was in a parking lot at 2 AM with a friend who was upset about something and she did go home because her phone was dead and she thought that she had plugged it in the charger but apparently it wasn’t working. I want to thank 360 for helping me and my daughter stay connected and feel safe! My biggest concern are the delays which is why I only have 4 stars. We love this app because we know that the world around us is not always a safe place and this app helps us in case of emergency. Just image if my daughter had been kidnapped that night. Life 360 might of gave us to help we needed to get her back home to me!

Happy Consumers. As for me I’m a mama and me and my daughters use Life360 and we do very much appreciate the service bcuz it helps me keep an eye out for and know exactly where my daughters are as well as my daughters know exactly where their mama is. Me and a friend of mine were robbed at gunpoint last year and without Life360 my kids wouldn’t have known where I was or where I had been yet the robber took our phones and our purses and my friends car yet my girls had been watching everywhere I had been and it did help. It even helped the cops even though they never found our phones nor her car it did help them find the people who robbed us and so that was awesome! I don’t know what we’d do without Life360 and I’d always be on ends bcuz I wouldn’t know exactly where my kids are even though they’re grown I still worry about them as they do me too bcuz we’ve been through some crazy situations in our lives even though we do not hang with a bad crowd it’s just America has become that dangerous. I wish it were a little more affordable as far a some of the special features bcuz we live on a fixed income and my kids are outta jobs due only to COVID-19. People we all need more prayers as we’re definitely praying for all of u. Thank u. We appreciate u in all u do for people Life360! Keep saving lives and finding people! The app does Need to be a bit more exact and faster though it is great and we enjoy having the ability to use it. Thank you so much!

Invasion of privacy. Before you all go writing me off as another teen trying to escape from my parents, no. I'm not. I'm 19 and I'm about to be in college. I understand the reasoning for this application, as it is very useful. HOWEVER, it is only useful when put in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. For example, I have had Life360 for a few years now. Before I had the app, I would go about my day enjoying myself and the world around me. This has changed. My family forced me into downloading this app onto my iPhone through convincing me that it would be beneficial to everyone. I was sorely mistaken for believing them. Ever since I downloaded the app, my stress and anxiety levels have increased beyond belief because I have members of my family who will constantly be on the app, I have screenshots of when my location was pinged 90+ times in one day. This is a sign of a toxic household. I now live in fear of "going beyond the boundaries" and I also now always feel the need to let everybody know every single detail, even when they don't need to know. I know this sounds like a small issue, but as a young adult who is about to transition into the grown-up and adult world, this is unhealthy and therefore this application is not beneficial to my mental health or safety or helpful in any way. This app alone has harboured countless arguments in my family and I am seriously sick and tired of invasive apps like these coupled with families like mine ruining kids' childhoods.

I found my daughter after a terrible accident. I got the life 360 app after my divorce. It made me feel better knowing where the kids were. They were young when I first got the app. But as they got older and even started driving they liked "marking" locations so I wouldn't wonder where they are- but what's the bigger deal is how Life360 helped me find my daughter when she was in a horrible horse accident and was knocked out. She was helicoptered in a flight for life from a remote location. When some random person called me ( yes- every parents nightmare) and asked "Is Ella your daughter?". My daughter was riding horses with a group of young women in a remote location. A horse reared up and and fell on her crushing her. The people she was with panicked and dragged her (literally). By the time I got a call my daughter was in shock. The people didn't know where they were going- I was able to follow where she was using the app ( I was 3.5 hours away) and follow her movement. I was able to figure out the possibilities of which hospital she might end up in and while driving myself call them all to find her. I did. And as soon as I got there they loaded me and my daughter in a helicopter. I love Life360. I tell all my fiends. It's priceless.

very unreasonable when it comes to parenting. Most of the time, parents feel that keeping track of where their children are at at all times is a way to keep them safe, when in reality, you are teaching your child not to trust you. When you are telling your child that you feel the need to track them, you are indirectly telling them that you don’t trust them and you don’t trust that they are honest with where they are going. This builds a dishonest relationship between you and your child. Now, i’d understand if your child was around 8 or 9 years old and you wanted to keep track of them in case of an emergency. But using this on ages 15 and older is so unbelievably wrong. You are teaching your child to lie and hide things from you. No parent wants that. Learn to trust your own kid because it sounds like an issue with you. If your child has given you no valid, logical reason for them not to be trusted, you shouldn’t feel the need to track where they are. Overall, this app can be useful in certain circumstances but when it comes to use within the teenage age group, it is illogical and stupid. I’m a teenager myself and let me tell you, we all find ways around this app. And there are some believe it or not. It’s better to not track your child and receive the honest truth than to be lied to and think you know the truth. suit yourself. that’s all I had to say and any parent with a little bit of intelligence will come to a conclusion that my argument is valid.

Used to be great. Update: Finally was able to get this app to work. Deleted the app from both my wife’s and my iPhone, then reinstalled. Signed in and it worked for the first time in many months. There were several updates over these many months so one of them must have corrected the problem. Our IOS op sys is up to date. ___________ Today I got an email supposedly from the CEO of Life360 asking to give them a good review. Well it still doesn’t work right. Lowered the rating to 1 star. Review below stands. ————— Don’t know what has changed as my wife and I have used this app for nearly two years with great service. We have all the settings correct: location always on both iPhones, contacts on, motion and fitness on, background app refresh on, and cellular data on of course. My wife is handicapped so I like to know when she gets home so I can offer help. Sometimes I get a notice, but sometimes nothing. If I open the app I see where she is and where she’s driving so no problem with GPS working. Hope they can fix this with an update. 😔 Update: After contacting support as it was suggested, it’s now been two weeks and no response. I think they know there’s a problem and the app needs updating. After contacting support a second time per a request thru Apple, STILL no response.

To all the parents. I understand the concept of this app. To know where each other are located when you need to know. Parents calling us rebellious teens for having to “hide” where we’re going...No we aren’t. If I tell you I’m going somewhere....that’s where I’m going ...if you need to know where I’m at...call me. With the inaccuracies on the tracking it’s great to come home and get asked 500 questions. Let me ask you, parents. Were you ever tracked when you were a kid? As long as parents do not abuse the app and check it ever 15 seconds (which I know happens) it’s fine. It’s a great app for emergencies, but most overuse it. You weren’t tracked as a teen and you probably turned out just fine. Talk about destroying freedoms and relationships. These straight A students you can find it the comments (before the company removed the badly rated comments) deserve parents trust. If you can’t trust them they sure aren’t going to trust you. Don’t be surprised after years of this they move out and don’t come back or talk to you for a while. Here’s a tip if you MUST have some sort of tracking. Use find my iPhone which tells of the last place a specific iPhone was and it’s already installed on iPhones. It’s actually accurate. I hear the argument often, “what if you were in a crash and no one could find you”....Really? I doubt that’s the real reason, but again...find my iPhone works just fine for that.

The benefits of life 360 App.. My family started using life 360 as a safety measure for active kids growing up, as well as our aging mother. I joined the family circle a state away, as did most of our family, so we were all in touch. Little did i know i would find out first hand, just how beneficial the app would be! I was in a bad accident, and rear ended at a high rate of speed. By the time the vehicle i was in, completely stopped from the impact, my phone began ringing almost continuously. Life 360 contacted my family within seconds of the impact, dispatched emergency personnel to my location and continued to call my phone until i answered. The dispatcher asked about the color and type of vehicle i was in and how i was doing, as well as if i could tell her anything about the others involved. She was incredibly kind, and let me know that everything was being taken care of and that help would be there quickly. We had “on star” and i also have a medical app but the paramedics were there before either of them got through to us for assistance. I can’t say enough about the benefits of having this app, or just how awsome the people who work there are. Thank you Life 360* for all you do! Kimberly Smith

Love it! Psst also download maps aka Apple Maps it’s good too!. So I love Life360 you can track friends and family and has stuff like crash detection, emergency contacts ( this is all in the safety button), and crime reports and like incidents near you. Ok next, there are places you can pin point to look at the address, and on the people list of you tap on somebody you can see how many minutes or hours they are away. You can also see wheee they have been to! If you need map and tracking apps this is the one you really should get!!!! Also I recommend Apple Maps too! Like I said in the title! If your new in town or where ever you are you can get directions on how to get there and is very easy to do! Also I’m 11 yrs old and I helped my grandma to get to my sisters tae kwon do class by using Apple Maps well I think it’s also called just maps idk, anyway it was easy I just looked at the trail and told her where to go and easy peasy! Yes I know the story might be confusing also, but my point is I recommend both apps! Best app if you care to know that your kids are safe.. I’ve had this app since it launched and it gives me peace of mind. I’m far more comfortable allowing my kids to go out with their friends because I know that if anything happens I’ll be alerted and can find them quickly. Without this app I don’t think I would be so open to hand my keys over. It’s not about trusting my children it’s about knowing the many things that could go wrong and having experienced the horror of delays in getting to your loved one. In addition, as a single mom,I like your kids would know because somebody needs to. My youngest son will sometimes check where I’m at and ask if I can stop by and pick something up or instead of texting me five times wondering how long till I’m home he just checks the app instead. One last gift of this app is whenever my grown son travels on long road trips he’ll add himself to my circle just as a back up in case something were to happen during his travels. It gives us both peace of mind. If teens don’t like this app it’s because they are teenagers and they’re not going to like much of anything that you do as a parent. But having conversations about boundaries and expectations are always helpful in a family and this can be a tool for that.

Crash detector is A+++++. One of my family members was in a car crash recently. Nothing fatal, thank God! The person involved in a crash will get a notification on their phone saying: “We detected motion on your phone that felt like a car crash. We’ve informed your circle and emergency contacts so they can check if you’re ok.” From here, they can either choose “False Alarm” or “There’s been a crash”. If you choose there’s been a crash, it would say: “We hope you’re ok. If you need immediate assistance, please cal 911 now. It gives you two options again “I’m ok” or “Cal 911”. Regardless of whether the person involved in the crash responds to the Life 360 alerts or not, it will notify the members of the circle and emergency contacts. It took Life360 a bit longer than we’d like, maybe 8 minutes, to alert them via text message, but we are so thankful regardless! The message sent said: “ Life360 detected sudden motion on ___'s phone. This could be the result of a collision, hard braking, or a dropped phone. We suggest that you call ___ to check on them: (phone number). When we hear from them, we'll let you know. View ___'s current location:___“. This app was once my enemy, being the teenager that I was. But now I am super thankful that this app exists!! Thank you so, so much Life360!

Great app. I love this app. It is great for families and especially for parents. To all the “people” leaving negative reviews, I can tell that most of you are teenagers and have NO clue what it is like to be a parent, and until you have raised your own children through their teenage years you have no idea what you are talking about; you just sound like spoiled, bratty children, which is all the more reason parents needs apps like this! I have a great relationship with my teenagers and I do trust them but this app is used for so much more than tracking our kids’ whereabouts. No teenager should hide their whereabouts from their parents, who undoubtedly pay their kid’s phone bills (all bills for that matter). So until you are grown enough to work, pay your own way in life, and get out on your own, stop complaining and giving this app bad reviews just because you’re angry with your parents. Enough of my rant, just tired of apps getting bad reviews for the wrong reasons. This app works great. It has little glitches from time to time but overall it works correctly and gives some peace of mind so that you don’t have to worry about your family as much, plus you don’t have to call or text them to ask where they are and possibly distract them while driving. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Our family has been using this app for over 10 years! We needed a way to stay connected when we weren’t all together. You can text and check in with your family right from the app! About two years ago we got married in Vegas. All of our kids who are now grown tracked each other. If they got confused they would pop open the app and start walking toward one another. Now our niece is in the family circle. She regularly checks our locations to see what we are up too. In recent times, the world has gotten more dangerous, people have replaced house phones with cellphones making it difficult to talk to your kids when they are out with friends. I love that EVERYONE in a family circle of trust. The kids don’t feel violated and it gives the parents an opportunity to let the kids have the same level of trust bc adults are being tracked. Pretty good but.... This app is good for tracking family or friends and is very useful but life360 is a bit of a glitch when it comes to notifications. It notified me when they arrived sonewhere even though they were not even close to that location and without premium you can't put a notification arriving and leaving a location more than 4 times which it a bit annoying but otherwise a pretty good app

It’s ok. This app is great, and functions as it should! Great for our family keeping track of each other… …and then we moved. Obviously location services are on, background refresh is on, and when I check, it shows ME at our previous residence. I’ll hard close the app, reopen and I’m still at our old address. Honestly, this could cause some SERIOUS relationship problems, we moved many weeks ago and for some reason every night, I’m at our previous residence. I’m glad I have a loving and understanding partner, as I’m sure in my last relationship this would have compounded existing issues and made life horrible!

Good app till you read the update log. Never had an issue with the app other than a few small issues, but after reading the apps update log and it being the same message or a very vague message saying fixed a few small bugs or issues I become curious too why they don’t share what issues that had fixed ive now decided too delete the app and go with another app that’s more transparent about what hasn’t worked and what they have done too fix it. In this day and age just being transparent and telling us what’s happening is better than covering up your mistakes.

#ghostmode. This app use to be absolute garbage and allowed narcissistic parents to stalk and harass their own children but now ghost mode is allowing a bit of privacy and altogether has made it a lot more fair and is still and effective way of staying safe so overall this app is fantastic and cheers to the creator for listening out and risking their everything to improve the app because for people who are unaware they actually almost lost their job for this because others didn’t agree but he stood his ground and made this app reasonable so I overall recommend this app for parents and teens

Inaccurate and inconsistent. This app is good in theory and there are many things I like about it like adding places etc. However, I use it for my children, exactly same model phones exactly the same mobile carrier and sometimes when they are together the results are different. First started noticing it with alerts for areas going off, it wouldn’t advise my daughter had left a location until we were several kms away from the circle. Even today, both kids went for bike ride same place, on way there app didn’t pick up one of the kids until she was half way there, the other child the app was ‘estimating where she was’ as the line didn’t show up on any roads. But I’m the way back the app had kicked in properly and the results were consistent. So I guess what I’m trying to say is when you move it takes a while for the app the track… and the results are quite inconsistent.

My relationship with my kids has only suffered. As a concerned Dad, I initially forced my son to get this app on his phone, I believed it was the right thing to do considering his track record and thought this would help fix him. However I think that was my biggest problem, using this app I tried to fix him as such it became to overbearing for him and he started to resent me. He felt as though I was trying to control him when In reality I only wanted the best for him. The app functions well for its intended purpose, but also crosses boundaries that lead our kids to hate us. Because our kids don’t understand this is what’s best for them the relationship suffers, For me life 360 hasn’t worked

Average. This app is helpful to know your child got to school ok, or sleep overs ok. But the main times I need to see this app, it unfortunately doesn’t work. But then when we are at home or just at a families place it’ll work. For a mother who gets worried pretty quickly when I do not get the “I’m here safely msg”. I just wish it had more quicker response time to update as it takes about 20-30 minutes to update sometimes even with me clicking the update button. I have tried updating the app to the newest edition and closing all apps and making sure full reception and data on so I hope it will work better in the future.

Peace Of Mind. Having a new young driver has been a daunting experience but with the 3Life app it takes all the worry away. Paying for the subscription is well worth its money as you can monitor speeds, high acceleration, phone use while driving and heavy breaking. Well worth it for the peace of mind it gives you. Can also link in others for emergency contacts that don’t need to have the app of their device. Gives you accurate location and so much more information.

Best app for families. We have had this app installed on our phones since the kids were about 10 and 12. It is fabulous, it allows us to give them a little more freedom as we can always keep an eye on them and know they are safe. It’s also handy when you want something from the shops, you can see who is nearest 😂 My kids are 16 and 18 now. It’s even better now that they are driving and going to parties. It makes it easy for me to pick them up if they need a lift etc.

Best App on my Phone!. This app has saved me worrying countless times. When my teen daughter is out, I can check in to see exactly where she is and it saves me wondering and worrying about where she is. Once she followed a gps that took an alternative route (On a windy, hilly dirt road!) and we were able to see where she was, follow her in real time and give her directions to get to her destination. Can’t rate this app highly enough!

🤩🤩. I got this app for my family and I love it! It’s really great to know where my family is and see how far they are from home! You can make multiple groups/families to share your location with, so you can do it with your family, and friends! You can set locations for your home, work, and school so you get notifications when people in your group leave or arrive that place! I love this app and totally recommend it so you don’t have to put air tags on your family members items to see where they are!

Great app but buggy. It’s a great app but I’m currently having issues with locations. Someone in my family group has all of their location permissions on and has done everything the app is telling her to do however my app is still saying that her locations permissions are off and will not update with her location. I’ve gone through every setting and it’s all the same as mine (which is working). Is this just a bug? We cannot fix this :(

Horrible app, save your money and time. The app was good at the beginning, then it started not having me at correct locations, saying I was walking instead of driving etc, not showing my drive routes, phone usage and other supposed features it’s meant to have. I followed there customer service advice numerous times to fix the issues and still the same issues persisted and I was even blamed for not having certain settings on when I had. I had updated the app numerous times when the updates were available and same issues. To prove my point I downloaded another app (free) that has similar features, same settings on both apps turned on for precise location, motion and fitness etc, and Life360 had part of my drive, incorrect time and location and the other app had it spot on. Also customer service can take over a week to get back to you and it is an AI generated response! By the way I’m a paying customer.

Suggestions. Hi Life360! So my family has been using your app and they think it’s great, but I think you could add these things to make Life360 better. -Make it so that you don’t have to use a phone number, make a wider variation like so you can use an email, because I have an iPad and I want to see where my family is but I can’t use the app because I don’t have a phone number. It’s good. This app is amazing very good to see where your family is so no one gets in danger but this app is draining my battery but if my battery is all gone how will my family find me and how can I get in contact with them right now my phone is on charge but the battery is going down this should get changed but beside from that the app is amazing good to know where you family are and you can go find while lost.

Update Pending?. Love this app however, I find that sometimes, even though the location sharing is on, it doesn’t show the location. I also no longer receive notifications that someone has arrived home etc even though the option is set. My friend said she’s found the same problems from time to time. Wondering if the app just needs an update ?

Positive feedback, please iron out aforementioned below :). For an app founded in 2008, you would expect it would have ironed out the flaws, it is pretty good and offers decent use for a free account, I’m mostly disappointed with the driving history, it doesn’t recognise being on a train, giving a false reading of your actual driving; I think if snapchat can do this, so could your developer. One other thing that could use some improvement, is travelling passed “home” it alerts that I’m home, instead I often on my way home go passed on the way to the shops, surely if still driving, the app can work it out not to alert within a zone, unless you’ve stopped the car? I’ll finish on a positive, this has great potential and for now is still really good at tracking you and others, and would recommend for tracking alone, that works great.

Great concept. Great concept but pretty terrible that you have to buy premium for each individual group. Also doesn’t seem to work in real time. It says my sister is at work at 430am when she left at 930pm. Also didn’t document my son going for a walk with his dog, and we get notifications that each other has arrived home around half hr after we’ve actually got home. I’ve checked the radius and it’s the lowest it can go so I’m not sure why it’s happening. Other than that, it’s a great app if you choose premium to get the features you need.

Enhancement to aid personal safety. A friend has mentioned Hollie Guard App which tracks similarly to Life360 but also has a personal alarm ‘siren’ where any user who feels threatens can ‘shake’ their phone and a audible noise comes from their device to help alert others but also could scare off some attackers. Before I consider switching to that App, does Life360 have a similar support feature and/or could you consider designing one? Thank you

Actually helped me get my phone back!. So my family have used Life 360 for around 2 years and has always been helpful, but as of an hour ago this app has truly helped me! I was at a plant nursery where someone tried to steal my phone, and with my daughters help from her phone connected to our account helped us track down the person who took it. I am truly thankful for this app helping me get my iPhone 11 Pro back. Thanks Life 360!!!

The best app EVER.. When our 2 daughters were in junior high friends of ours recommended Life 360, it’s been the most useful app I have ever purchased. I am in the building industry and my wife is a vital part of my company delivering plans or equipment to site in between office duties and before Life 360 I would spend so much time explaining how to get to new sub divisions that weren’t on google maps or any maps app, after life 360 my wife would just tap on my profile and hit the go to button…… that easy, keeping tabs on where the girls were and how long before they got home was a god send, coming home to hot dinners because my beloved wife kept an eye on when I left site was the best part. Once my youngest daughter lost her phone after a night out in the town with her mates but only realised Sunday lunchtime when she woke up that it was missing, when she came to me in tears that she had lost it I passed it to her letting her know she lost it in the Uber and I went to the Uber cars home and retrieved it via the app once I noticed she was home yet her phone was miles away. Even now that my daughters are adults and have their own jobs they still keep life 360 on, I have installed life 360 aged fathers phone which has helped us find him on many occasions where he has got lost on random walks. Update. Since the last update it says people in my circle can not be found whilst their location sharing is turned on? Any tips would be helpful I have closed the app and reopened it, turned phone off and back on to reboot and still saying person can not be located I use to love this app but the last year I’ve had it has been nothing short of disappointment after the next, then when nothing gets resolved and I enquire about a refund as the app has not done what I paid good money for it to do, I’m told it’s not up to life360 themselves to refund even though it’s their app I paid for

Please fix these bugs. I have had this app for a few years and it’s helped me in multiple situations. Thank you for creating an app to make people feel safe. But there are a few reoccurring bugs I want to bring up, this is almost an constant issue and has never really ended. But nearly every time I open the app it will only show my circles location from 45 minutes to 4 hours ago, no matter the wifi connection or location services status it will not reload no matter how many times I press the retry button. It also has my partner on driving 24/7 even though he is obviously not in the car. It also has problems picking up wether I’m walking, driving or on a train. It will also split my trip into so many different lengths on the over view it’s difficult to tell where I was going. But my largest problem is it not telling me when my partner arrives to leaves the house because of the problem the app has with updating the status. Also I’m in two seperate circles and it constantly has issues which is switches which circle I am in, combines both, won’t let me exit the other or just im general won’t load any thing.

Great app. This app makes me feel a lot safer, if anything ever happens to myself or those I care and love I can track there exact address or where they are located incase of worry’s. Makes me feel alot better to know this as a young girl. Sometimes the app has a few difficulties where it won’t work for a bit but I believe it’s just updating or a common issue with apps but over all its great.

No Regrets. This is so useful to know where our family members are at all times. We don’t have to wonder if the kids made it to where they were going, if someone is a little late we can check how far away they are and if God forbid anything should ever happen, we would have a much better idea of where they have been in order to find them. Our family love this app.

Alarm. Everything is good I’ve been using it for nearly a year to track friends and family and I haven’t had any problems except the SOS alarm. It only makes a ding sound. People don’t have time to check a ding. if someone’s in a meeting they won’t have time to check a ding. I want to actually know if something has happened to my friends and family rather than a ding saying ‘* has asked for help’ can you make it an alarm or something?!

It’s good:). Hi:) This app is good and not an invasion of privacy because you can create bubbles to let others not see where you are and also turn tracking restrictions off. I am a parent and use it to track my children so I know where they are at all times. If you are a parent like me and is worried that your children are up to no good then get it:) it’s good and is free but there is a premium option. I hope you liked my review:)

Dangerous app. I found out an ex partner had downloaded this and put it on my phone, without me being aware. When I found out I contacted life360. I needed to report this incident to the police but life360 were not helpful. Yes, they unlinked his account from my phone number but they conveniently avoided answering my question about when it had been put on there. When I prompted them again they said they no longer had access to that information as they deleted it. The developers have not considered safety when designing this app. They should reconsider what steps need to be taken to set up an account, and also have measures in place to help victims be able to give information to the police’s

Disappointing. This app used to be a leading app in personal tracking. Having used the paid version for over 2 years i saw benefits. But the support is just not there . The app allows you to reduce boundaries down to only 76 meters while other apps let you reduce boundaries down to 5 meters . This is a major fail with Life360. I have asked them several times to address this issue and each time i just get a message saying they will look into it and nothing ever happens . I have spoken to tech support on my other tracking apps who tell me that it’s an easy fix but Life360 just refuse to do it . It should not be called “life” 360 when you cannot rely on it in an emergency situation. 76 meters is a large area . I now only use the app for myself and i use a better app for work purposes where accurate location is essential for knowing where some particular students are.

Fantastic App One Current Problem. Live the app, have used it with my girlfriend since we started dating. Having one recent issue - clicking in the message button (or dm) or any of the quick messages (such as Love Ya ❤️) just exits the app for me. Yes I have tried all the basics - restarting, redownloading, updating and restarting phone as well as using different networks. None of it works it seems to be a specific bug. Please fix this ASAP

great until now 😡. I used life 360 for the past 3 years with my partner and it was really good the whole time pretty much. i always got notifications when he arrived or left places and I was really happy i didn’t have to pay for the membership just to use the basic features. anyhow , Today i never received the notifications that my partner had arrived at work for hours and started having a panic attack… only to find out that if i want to know if my partner has arrived or left anywhere else but our shared house then i have to pay 6-7$ a month now. Id basically be paying for a notification at that point and if I haven’t had to do that for the last 3 years but this has really ruined my experience seeing as the notifications we get are the main reason we use the app at all. like I use it despite all of its bugs anyway but It’s so disappointing finding out that now I have to pay for something every month just to lessen my anxiety in my day to day life.

Peace of mind and convenience. Life360 is a fantastic way for our family to keep track of each other. The app makes it so much easier for my wife and I to coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs for the kids as our live locations are visible. Also provides peace of mind when one of the kids starts walking or riding to school independently, and the geo-alerts let you know when they’ve arrived safely. Even my 16 year old has seen the benefit of the app as he can see when we’re leaving work and will often request a pick-up if we’re in his vicinity. Definitely recommend.

Love it. Life360 is a great app that allows you to know where your loved ones are. I also use it to know when to start cooking as I can see how far each family member is from me and the app gives me an estimated time to that person. So the meals are always on time when they arrive. Great for making sure your elderly parents or grandparents ok and always know where they are.

BIG help. Lucky that my husband and I both downloaded this app. There was a time when I am talking with my husband over the phone while his driving late at night from his workplace and about to go home when he suddenly feel a terrible pain from his stomach going up to his chest and he can no longer talk to me on the phone and locate the hospital (because we are new in town), so I try to locate him using this app and guided him going there. Thank you for creating this app really saved my husband earlier tonight. 🙏❤️

Comfort at my fingertips. I love this app! I feel so much better being able to see where my family are at the touch of a button and check where they’ve been, especially my teenager! You can even see the average km/h they were driving and how much battery % is left on their phones and zoom in to see google earth rooftops and exactly where the ph is if you lose it. They have really covered all bases on this app it’s the best. Absolutely 5 stars!

Not alone. There are definitely positives to this app. I have had some loss in my life, It’s just my daughter and I, so knowing where she is helps me to breathe, her safety is pinnacle. No amount of money is too much, unless you live in todays chaos, on one wage and struggle with all the cost to just survive. I would love to pay for premium, for a few tiles and id life for a 360 Personal Security Honcho, that fits the description of Danzel Washington in MAN ON FIRE. To escort my daughter at all times for safety ☺️ All funny aside. This app gives me peace at times when my anxiety grabs hold of me, I jump on 360 to check everything is ok within reason. Just because it shows her phone is there doesn’t make everything 100% but I trust the universe and my girls intuition, along with what I’ve taught her so I knock down the anxiety saying everything is ok. Absolute must have app!. My whole Family love this app! We all have this on our phones and it’s used daily. Very easy to setup and everyone can quickly find where we all are. For the kids it’s peace of mind and a massive safety net if we need to get them or check where they are. For me and my wife it’s handy to go and pick each other up in the car, and with the bubble you can set around work, home etc.. the phone pings when anyone comes in or out so you can get things ready or know they are on there way. Loads of other features to monitor the kids driving and many other features. I absolutely love this app, and so do many of my friends now who have it as well.

Peace of mind for parents. My eldest made me get this app for her own peace of mind and to gain a bit more freedom when she’s not with me and it gives us peace of mind being able to pin point each others location at times. Pausing locations. Love the app But don’t make it obvious that people have turned off their location. Make an option to pause location. sharing your location with some one is personnel and it takes a lot of trust and some kids don’t have that trust with their parents yet. Even making a disclaimer to anyone pauses their location, telling them to make sure that people who care about can’t still know where they are. Making sure that parents and children know that they need to trust each other for location sharing to work is very important

Family come home to a hot dinner!. I can easily track family and start dinner as soon as they leave work saving time and frustration. It's also handy for knowing when you'll get picked up if you're getting a lift as you can see the car coming towards you! Only downside is if you or the person you're tracking is in a bad reception area - there may be delays or you'll need to wait til one of you makes a move!

Really do like!. I really do like this app, it’s one of those apps that really are useful in situations as such. You can easily see family members and where they are without worrying that they are in danger or lost. All I’ll say is that this all does have a bit of a delay when it comes to notifications and seeing where members are, but most likely just the wi-fi. Other then that I think think this app is perfect for family’s and such.

Life 360. Great Ap. Would definitely recommend it for any single traveller so that family can always see where you are. Also good for individual families, so you can see where your children are in case of emergencies. I have it with my children and grandchildren on it for when I travel and each of my children have their own individual family group as well.

Great for keeping track of the kids. When you’re trying to raise responsible adults with progressive, gentle introductions to self management this saves me from freaking out about whether they’ve made it to school or reporting them missing if their school bus home is late. Given the kids these days all seem to use it by creating circles for their friend groups they don’t even feel like I’m being intrusive into the secret lives all kids live when their parents aren’t watching, I think they like being able to track me whenever they like too even though that just supports their theory that I really don’t have a life and I’m really not as cool as I tell them I was but I suppose that’s a small price to pay for knowing they’re safe. 😂

Accurate and easy.. This app is probably one of the best on the market. It is accurate, and informative. It’s very helpful for family members who travel long distances away from home, for that added peace of mind of knowing where family members are when travelling at night or during busy periods. It’s also good to keep watch of speeds, especially if a certain family member has a lead foot whilst driving. Highly recommend this app.

Great app!. Great app! We have used this with a big group of friends while on holiday... if your meant to meet up but your friends are in the pool or can’t answer their phone, you can look at your app and know where they are & meet up with them that way. Great for if you have young teenagers, you know where they are and that they are safe and or doing what they said they were. If you lose your phone ( gives you an area - not an exact pin point ) but if you leave it at a restaurant you were at you’d be able to work it out... I use it to see when my husband leaves work to start dinner so it’s ready when he walks in. It’s not creepy or sneaky as you both have to download the app and agree to be in a “tracking circle”. I think it’s super handy! ☺️

So good. Using your phone is a no no while driving so I don’t like calling my husband or kids if I think they may be in the car, this app lets me see if they are driving and if so how long before they get home. It was also useful when the kids were younger and I could see they made it to their destination. If they needed a lift, I knew what address to go to.

Love this App. Love, Love, Love this App. Life360 let’s me see where my teenage daughter is at all times & how much battery her phone has. The app will let me no when her phone is getting low on charge & an icon I can press to remind her it’s getting low. I can tell if she tries turning her location off which then takes away the privilege of going out so she never does. The only flaw I can see is she can leave her phone behind at a mates if that’s where I think she is, maybe somehow an alarm if the phone is left idol for a long period might help deter that. Also I no it’s only $5 but no grace period is hard when I can’t pay till payday & can’t have full access till I do. Thanks for a great App

Love this app. This app is awesome. We have 2 teenage kids and we are all apple except for my husband. This app allows us to be connected even though our phones are on different platforms. The additional features of adding multiple locations for notifications along with speed and phone usage are extremely handy. Especially with teenage children, to monitor their driving habits. The only downside is I pay extra for those features but can only use it in one circle. If I’m paying I should be able to use it in all circles.

What’s changed?. I’ve had Life360 for my family and early teenagers for a couple of years and it’s been brilliant for peace of mind and knowing when they leave home, arrive at school etc. However, it seems since this latest update introducing the bubbles, suddenly our family notifications don’t work properly. I get notifications all night and day telling me the kids have left home and arrived home when they are sitting right next to me. I’ve tried increasing the tolerance on ‘places’ and makes no difference. I’ve messaged support and never received a reply but my ticket has been closed. Disappointed. My kids will be driving in the next year or so but at the moment I would be reluctant to pay for the extended driving version of this app until it’s working properly again. Admin@Life360... can you help!!?

Great- a few minor glitches. This app has brought a great deal of peace of mind whilst dealing with a teenager just starting to spread her wings. It allows me to give her more of the freedoms she craves- and while it doesn’t assure her safety it offers me reassurance about where she is and who’s house she is at. Though I have noticed a few glitches- it will tell me she is home when she is known to be elsewhere. Then it jumps around and puts her at several places all within the space of about 3 seconds. Apart from this it’s wonderful, and worth the modest monthly subscription (optional- the free service is just as comprehensive) for peace of mind.

Invasion. This is not how parents should be “maintaining a healthy relationship with their kids”. It’s ridiculous that parents are watching their every move. Children deserve some aspect of privacy and if your wondering why your kid doesn’t like you very much than this is part of the reason.

Trust. My kid recently snuck out and I caught them and I made them download life 360, WORST IDEA EVER my kid snuck out again but this time left her phone at home. I rather my kid sneak out without me knowing WITH her phone then me knowing and her out and about without her phone.

Lose your child’s trust 101. My mom downloaded this and then deleted it cuz she knew it would destroy my trust with her and my dad. Terrible app if your trying to watch your kids location all the time.

Life360 outstanding app. It’s important to know that 360 is a great remote spy apps that can be used to monitor and track suspected cheating wives, kids and your staff activities at work. However this great app couldn’t grant all access I needed to detect and catch my wife red handed in her deceptive ways. It all started when I had a suspicion on her with some recently inherited behavior like staying out late nights after work, being clingy to her phones and so on. I came to the internet to find a lasting solution to solve my marital problems. Thank God, Reece faz came my way after checking through positive reviews on Mspy app, how he helped a woman catch her cheating husband red handed. I reached him via his mail at targetspytech (@) gmailcom and he requested for certain info such as my spouses phone number and phone model. Within 3-5 hrs I got a notification popped up on my phone it was from Reece. he gave me a spy link which I accessed with my phone web browser there I was able to see all of his texts, call logs, shared pictures and videos etc as if I got his phone in my palms. It’s really a great opportunity to use the services of targetspytech (@) gmailcom, if you got similar issues right now I’ll strongly advice you write him for an excellent spying and tracking services. This is the most highly recommended and genuine services that works efficiently than the spy apps.

Good interface, bad idea. My parents still force me to have it and I’m 18, it’s a great way to loose trust in your kids and too constantly stalk them but if you want to keep a good relationship I wouldn’t recommend. I absolutely hate this app more than anything, I wish it was banned so children of struct parents weren’t subjected too it.

don’t use it to track kids!!. this app is great for keeping yourself safe between friends or family if you want. features like crash detection can and probably have saved lives. don’t hate the app for what it was supposed to be for! on the other hand, please don’t use it to track your kids. you may think you’re just being protective and are worried for their safety but there are other ways to do this. this can destroy your relationship and make them not trust you.

Life360. As a father if my kids need help I know where to look for them. I don’t criticize them wherever they may go and never question them they don’t mind me knowing wherever they may be. I’m sure they feel more secure knowing where I can find them if they need help,

Great app. I love this app. It works for me and my family and even with my bf. My mom has my location and I don’t care because I have nothing to hide. The people that hate this app are either cheaters or they know they’re doing things they shouldn’t be doing. If you have nothing to hide, there’s nothing wrong with this app. And for people saying they sell your data, big news buddy every app does! So who cares? I completely trust my bf/family, we use it for safety. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it bugs sometimes but other than that, it’s perfect ❤️

not for parents. i use this app with my bestfriends, not parents! i explained to my parents that i will be honest with them where i am, but needing my exact location at all times and not trusting me is a very toxic environment to be in. they tried manipulating me saying “well if there’s no problem, then what’s the problem.” absolutely not. stand up for yourself. HOWEVER, i love having this app to have fun with my friends😭

It’s extremely frustrating as a teenager to have your strict parents control your life this much, I (an 18 yo) can’t even look at them anymore, because they don’t trust me, they pretend like it’s for your “own good”, but seriously they dgaf about your own good, only about themselves.

Terrible apps not accurate. My wife and I have been using this apps for 2 years now then all of the sudden it stopped working in her end it always says her phone is off or no coverage even though her phone is on . We tried everything to fix it. Changed our both password and logged out for 24 hours and turn it back on and still says her phone is off. Please fix this .

Ruins relationships. This app is perfect if you your children to lose all trust in you as a parent. It’s an invasion of privacy and should not be used to monitor everyone at all times.

Location won’t update. My friends location won’t update until they click on the app every setting is correctly done, don’t know why this is the case.

Location Errors. I have noticed recently ONLY that the locations are about 36 hours behind and not updating. This is not intended as a review, I have otherwise been happy with the app for years, I am hoping to alert the development team.

Not accurate. I swear that if my husband wasn’t sitting next to me every time that this app said he was at other places, we would have some serious marital issues. No joke. Every single day, all day long for the past several months, it dings my phone saying he’s left and returned about 6-8 times all the while, he’s sitting right next to me. With his phone right next to us. It’ll place him at random parts of the neighbor or across the huge lake we live by. I guess that could be an error where it’s pinging back and forth from different towers but there’s times where it puts him 45 minutes away at some random location. What is going on with this app?? You need better towers to ping off of or more people checking on updates and fixing bugs. Whenever he’s broken down or needs me to take him something on a job that I’ve yet to go to, I need accurate location information so that I don’t have to interrupt his work to have him give me an address or directions. That’s why we have this app. Please please try and fix this bug. And it’s not just his phone because he’s gone through 2-3 phones already and this app will do the same thing on each phone. I like the ease of which I can locate him (when it’s working properly) and I don’t want to get another app.

Love this app. My whole family really loves this app and gets a lot of benefit from it including my 14yo and 17yo sons. We got the app as soon as my oldest first got a cell phone and it was great because we all knew what was going on so we were on the same page. My youngest son loves to know when his dad is on his way home from work. If the kids are at a basketball game we know when they arrive and when they leave. Then when my oldest started driving it was a non issue. We all were already enjoying the app. Even when my son got lost in construction on his way to his gf house I could see where he was and guide him out. If we are meeting my husband for dinner we can see where he is and he doesn’t need to call or text while driving to tell us when to meet him. If I’m cooking, I know when they are on their way home and I can start cooking. I know when they kids leave the school to head home. They don’t have to call or text me when they arrive somewhere. They feel like I’m not nagging them cause they aren’t having to constantly CheckIn with me. Even my youngest who is fiercely independent enjoys the app cause he can also see where we are.

It cost some living !! Not satisfied enough. It’s weird living with a cheating partner under your roof, I had trouble keeping track of a handful cheating partner’s phone. I tried several apps to assist me but I was met with ill-luck. Weeks ago I feel awful with my partner’s cheating attitude. I really want to catch her red handed, so I purchased this app hoping it would help unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with it’s features as I needed to monitor my partner’s closely. I then spoke to a friend & neighbor and he recommended a private investigator named Dwayne. I sent him a mail at Dragonspy247@gmail•com explaining how I wanted to have complete access to her call log, text, social media activities deleted or not and her precise location day in day out. I speedily paid for his service and before I get home from work he contacted me and gave me a URL link to gain complete access to her phone as if I had it in my palms. What I saw was unbelievable and I am hugely disappointed, not surprised. I used the evidence I got to file for a divorce as soon as I could. I’m thankful to Dwayne for helping me out of my dilemma and affirming my suspicion. If you’re having trust issues and need valid evidence concerning your partner’s attitude, how about you contact Dwayne? He just might be of help bringing to light what’s been hidden from you.

Great Piece Of Mind!. First let me start by saying, I honestly don’t even check where my Son is! We downloaded the app. when my son was 15 & asked to ride with a friend. My son is extremely responsible, but this was a great way to hold him & his friends accountable for their speed! My son is now 17 and we still continue to use the app. Being accountable for your speed at a young age is important! As a parent I love the notification I get when he finishes a drive and arrives to a location. Let’s me know I should be receiving a text from him, if I haven’t already him letting me know he made it to his location safely. Yes it tells me his fastest speed and that keeps the accountability & conversations never forgotten! My daughter is 11 and she’s always been on the app to. When she stays the night with a friend it’s nice to know where she is and it alerts me when she needs to charge her phone. Obviously I’m on the app. in our circle/group the kids can see my location & speed too! Yes they keep me accountable too! My husband loves that any given time we can check. For us honestly it’s just a since of calm and piece of mind to know.

Unsure if it’s worth it I like the feature of being able to see driving reports but my. I son won’t be driving for 3 more years yet. I feel like I got just as many features using family sharing with iPhone and the app Verizon offers both being free. I do notice it glitches often. My husband and I are in sales so we use it mainly as a safety feature especially with us living in Wisconsin now that winter is here. We both have our settings set to always be running in the background so that it will always update with the correct locations and all of that. we have noticed it doesn’t update for example. I left my weekly meeting and ran to the do like my husband was it in the same town. So he was going to come meet me. so he pulled up Life360 to get directions to where I was. But it wasn’t updating or refreshing. I had full bars and Wi-Fi. I never even showed that I left the office, drove anywhere. It literally showed nothing. So I’m just not sure if it’s worth it, if it’s not going to work again, especially with it being something we’re paying for. We both have also had it show and give a notification that we left home when both of us were home and hadn’t left the house for hours.

Piece of mind, Great app!!. As a parent, it is our responsibility to know where our kids are and keep them safe until they go out on their own. This app is a GREAT way to help keep them safe and see where they are. It’s nice to be able to see they arrived safely at their destination and they forgot to let you know. If your kids aren’t doing anything wrong or trying to hide something, then what is there to be mad about. If they think this app is causing the relationship issues with parents, their wrong. They need to look a lot deeper than this app and build a real trusting, loving, and respecting relationship with their parents. Maybe one day when they become parents they will understand. I use this for our mom’s too, who are in their late 70’s. It’s just a piece of mind to be able to look at the app and see where they are when they don’t answer your phone call or text. I am so glad this app was developed. Some kids these days don’t understand all the dangers that are out there and think they are invincible. Tell that to some of the parents whose kids are missing or dead because of the evil in this world. This app could literally save a persons life. Thanks Chris and the Life360 family!!

Removal of previous reviews. I received an email from you requesting me to reevaluate your company due to past negative reviews given by your users. This is why I give you one star. I don’t agree with you asking your service provider to remove previous reviews because they were not acceptable to you. I don’t get the option to contact the credit bureau and ask them to remove all of my negative history because I failed at something. I work to make things better and pay the price until I can prove myself. I feel you should not ask us, your users, to reevaluate you because you removed previous reviews because they were low. There was a reason they were low, either misunderstanding or actual failure to provide to your users. Both considered a failure. Either way, it should make you reflect on what caused the low reviews and should try other means to prove your company as opposed to deleting pertinent feedback given by your users. You now have enlightened me now on how it is possible to manipulate reviews if they are not giving you a positive outcome. And I’m sure this feedback will surely end up the same as your other negative feedback, deleted. But I did want you to know how I felt. Notice nothing in this feedback is in regards to your actual product. Only in the manor you wish to control the way users who give you feedback. I wish you luck and strength in the future of your business.

The BEST Peace of mind app. As a full time working mom, Life360 has been my best friend with helping me locate my kids when they’re not responding & give me the ability to see their route travelled. It alleviates stress when I’m wondering where my 15 yr old son is when he’s past curfew, and notifies me when my kids have reached school and home safely. If you’re child turns off Life360 you are notified immediately and you can send a request they turn it back on. It’s helpful seeing if my husband is on his way from work to gauge dinner time or possibly request he swing into a store on his way home, all depending on location. This way I’m not disturbing him while he’s driving. I like that it lets me know when phone batteries need recharging and so much more! I have the basic free plan, which has been ideal for my small family. If I had a larger family I would upgrade in a heart beat. We are a very busy family with many moving parts and this app empowers you to protect your family, supports better communication amongst the family and gives you peace of mind every day. Thank you Life360! You’ve been a life saver!

A must have app for anyone. This app has been a game changer for our family. We love the peace of mind it gives. Just one example is that I am a cyclist and ride 100 mile rides often. Several times I have been out and had a break down with my bike that I couldn’t fix roadside. My wife has been able to use the app to give her exact directions to my location. I could go on and on about many of the features but I want to say something about all the teens that gave negative reviews. You don’t have to use the app if you don’t want. That’s your choice but don’t degrade a company that’s only agenda is to help people stay connected. I get you are young and want to be independent and not have some parent knowing everywhere you are but mark my words, one day you will have children and you too will worry about them. Besides, if you are doing nothing wrong then what does it hurt? You may regret it if you find yourself trapped in your upside down vehicle off the road somewhere that you can’t be seen by passing motorist. A friend on mine sat trapped in his upside down truck for two and a half days in a creek with his dead girlfriend beside him. He wishes they had something like this back the. Grow up.

Why life 360 is a parasite to adolescent growth. The very adults that use this app to control their kids weren’t faced with such a problem when they were our age. They had the freedom to live life at their own terms and have experiences. Everyone knows that most parents are hypocrites, not wanting their kids to do the same things they did. But this added control they have over their kids lives that is app provides doesn’t protect them, it only hinders them. Our parents were able to make mistakes and learn from them, thus growing up and maturing, but this app allows them to keep us from becoming adults weather they want to believe that or not. One of the problems this world is faced with is a growing number of teens that become adults without being ready for adulthood. And a big reason for this is because parents don’t allow their kids to mature and learn things for themselves and they’re constantly coddling them. A parent that actually wants a successful child will let them learn things for themselves instead of trying to be a helicopter parent and using tools such as this app. This app isn’t the only cause for this epidemic but it does greatly contribute to it. Everyone needs to give this app 1 star so that it can be removed from the App Store, allowing us to take steps towards a country that produces young adults who are ready to change the world.

My daughter feels safer knowing that I can find her. I’ve had this app for more than 3 years, since my daughter was in high school, and it has been pretty good. Some times I wish it were a bit more accurate and that the tracking radius was smaller. She knew it was installed and had comfort in knowing that if anything went wrong I’d be able to find her. One day she called me to say she was going to be in a strange place and I should pay attention to where she was. Funny thing is, she was in a place I knew well and was actually very safe. Another time she went somewhere and didn’t tell me and just assumed that I was tracking her movements - I wasn’t. I have a job and other things to do than watch her move about a map. She’s now away at college and the bus trip home is 8+ hours and I use the app to track progress so I know when to leave home to get her from the bus station. Other than that, I now only use it when she requests that I do. Or, better, as an alarm for me (wink). From the other reviews, it seem that I missed a big hubbub about the app and the perceived invasion of privacy. Trust is a two way street. If both parties lack trust, there’s a problem.

Comforting. When my son started driving himself at age 16 to school and ball practices etc, I asked him to text me when he got there, and then when he was leaving. He’s a good kid but would forget half the time. One time he was extremely late getting home from a practice 45 minutes away at night. I was besides myself with worry. When he walked in the door, I told him if he wanted to keep keys to the car, he had to put Life 360 on his phone and leave it on. Or I would pick up right where I left off and drive him everywhere myself. The rest is history. I could check myself to see where he is when he’s running late, or if he is where he said he’d be on a weekend. I could also remind him to drive the speed limit if I saw him going too fast. Teens often accuse parents of “not trusting” them, and they’re wrong. I trusted my son that he had good intentions, but I wasn’t born yesterday. Teens can be impulsive. We all were. And they can think they will always make a good decision, but in the moment, they may not. I am his parent first, friend second. Life 360 helped me to protect him during those years.

Some major glitches. This app is great now for general whereabouts. But I’ve had had some moments where this app said that I went somewhere and stopped in the middle of a bridge and turned around and went back to my location where originally was. It said I took that trip and six minutes there and back and that’s not even possibly true even if I went to 60 miles an hour on a residential street. And I couldn’t have turned around in the middle of the bridge because that’s not possible ever. And it said I did this at 2:30 in the morning and my phone had died prior. So why it said I went somewhere when I was actually asleep at that original location and I didn’t get up or move until eight in the morning. It is a real issue and caused great strain in my personal relationship. And it says that I move around at my work go places that I dont go more than twice a day. I work in a small facility and it says that I move around a lot and I am more of stay in one place for a long significant amount of time yet it says that I move around. These are major issues that needs to get fixed to be more accurate. It follows my boyfriend just fine in a general sense but for whatever reason my particular app says that I do things and go places that I don’t go so yes this app has a lot of issues and glitches please fix.

Thank You Life 360. My brother suggested this app when my boy/girl twins were in their senior year of high school and soon to be moving to San Diego to attend college. The deal is, as long as I pay for the phones, they keep the app active. After two years, I upgraded so I would have access to details such as driving speed, fast braking, calls, etc. (Parents also own and insure their cars, so again, 360 part of the benefit package!). I can’t tell you the peace of mind achieved being able to check on location and progress during travel. When the nest first emptied I would check on them every night before I went to bed for that very peace of mind. They have admitted that they do the same and check on me when they are away. We are all in agreement we will keep this app long into the future for the convenience, general safety features, and to simply keep a handle on each other’s whereabouts. We are blessed that we have not had to use the features for an emergency situation. I highly recommend life 360. I wish I would’ve had it as a resource earlier—especially during their first years of driving. This parent gives life 360 a whole hearted five star rating!

This is a must have app for our family:). I love all of the features this app has. It tells each other what battery percentage our phones are at, how long it will take for us to get to our family member,I have it set up to let me know when my kids arrive/ leave home or school or anywhere they have to drive that is really far away, I pay the yearly fee for crash detection and it’s peace of mind. My husband and I even have it set up to alert us when we are at the grocery store in case either of us need something😃I have had this app for at least 5 years. MyHusband and I were in a car accident while I was on the phone with my daughter my husband was driving, someone hit us head on, that’s the worst case scenario being on the phone with my daughter when it happened, she was frantic and upset and her boyfriend said just look at life 360 on your phone and we can see where she is. We weren’t far from home so they drove to where we are to make sure we were OK. When my daughter moved out she told me to leave her on it just in case she were in an accident and we could find her:) THIS APP IS DEFINITELY WORTH HAVING 😃

Peace of mind. This app is a blessing. I’m a paranoid mother and this gives me peace of mind. I got this due to my daughter being a new driver and it let’s me know that she made it to her destination safely. I’m also not familiar with our area yet so when map quest is not working or when I don’t have an exact location this helps me find where her sporting events are. And when she’s out cruising with her friends since a lot live in the country this helps both of us know our location since again we aren’t family yet with the area. She’s able to be a teenager with some more freedom since I feel at ease seeing where she’s at and if her battery is getting low it will alert me, which is pretty nice too. I’ll text if she’s not paying attention to her cell, “charge that cell or get home” if I see she’s faraway. I even installed this in my youngest cell that she just keeps in her bag as a tracking. Helps me see how far away the bus is so I know when to run out and meet the bus when I’m far off doing chores. The best part is it’s FREE!!! I wouldn’t do it if I had to pay cuz she has a cell phone but this is a bonus so why not.

Truly a wonderful app. This app has helped me so much in making sure my kids are safe. I recently divorced the father of our two girls, 14 and 11, who is also an alcoholic. I have heard the stories of why kids don’t like the app because parents spy and torment, why parents hate ghost mode but here is my story and I hope most of the users don’t have to have it for. The reason I purchased life 360 was after a terrifying event where my ex was so angry, he was driving over 70 miles an hour on a hilly dangerous road with a 45 mph speed limit. Our daughter inside the truck ended up calling 911 she was so afraid, police showed up to his house, and nothing was done. He smelled of alcohol but because he was now home there was nothing they chose to do. They told me if I had proof of his driving recklessly they could have helped our now terrified daughter, because her word wasn’t enough. I downloaded the app the next day. This app has given me peace of mind when they are with their dad and the SOS feature is a true blessing. So thank you for developing something like this that helps keep me kids safe.

Amazing. I am in disbelief this app works great I recommend it to anyone whoever the creators are please don’t change a thing continue to keep it the way it is and make small upgrades in the future but only if we the app users are able to decide if we want to add that feature or not the simplicity of this app is great and lets me keep up with family and friends hopefully in the future you can make a deal with one of the bigger mapping companies out there and get this as a standard feature on any mobile device I will continue to use this as long as you keep it at this amazing price and also keep the free version add free as well if anyone is looking for something to help them stay in touch with Family And Friends even if you have children that are caring mobile devices I recommend buying this app and installing it on there it gives you a peace of mind you know where they are and how long they have been there and it gives you pinpoint information that any self-respecting parent would need don’t just take my word for it download that today and start your free trial trust me you will be thankful you did.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Our family has been using this app for over 10 years! We needed a way to stay connected when we weren’t all together. You can text and check in with your family right from the app! About two years ago we got married in Vegas. All of our kids who are now grown tracked each other. If they got confused they would pop open the app and start walking toward one another. Now our niece is in the family circle. She regularly checks our locations to see what we are up too. In recent times, the world has gotten more dangerous, people have replaced house phones with cellphones making it difficult to talk to your kids when they are out with friends. I love that EVERYONE in a family circle of trust. The kids don’t feel violated and it gives the parents an opportunity to let the kids have the same level of trust bc adults are being tracked. My girls have both told us that they secretly always loved the app bc if anything were to happen, Life360 would report their trips and their last known locations. It lets you know if your child is walking or in a car. If the car is speeding it will let you know. This app does it all! Not to mention lost phones are quickly located!

Sale of Personal Information and Overall Poor Service.. In reality, I find the sale of my personal information to be a bit of a turn-off for the app. Life360 sells your personal information to 3rd party services… Which is absurd! What’s so absurd? You don’t have the option to stop them from selling your personal information (UNLESS you live in California.) This has stopped me from using the app because it feels like an invasion of privacy and I give this app an overall a 1/10, due to the countless headaches and poor additional services it has to offer. None of the services work properly without some kind of issue coming up! 24/7 assistance does not respond fast enough, or sometimes not at all! Nor does crash detection, I’ve been in a crash while using this app and nobody came like stated in the subscription i paid for! NOT JUST THAT, but there is NO direct department to contact for customer support for life360, just some blurry link on their FAQ that leads to why they “limit” certain things which is ridiculous for a 20$ fee. There are a ton of other bugs with precise location and tracking, but there is too much to cover in one review. This app’s paid services are a waste of money, terrible quality, and I advise anybody who wants to keep their loved ones safe to do further research in a better option than Life360.

AWFUL. This is the worst app out there. It allows over protective parents to watch you at all times which is so exhausting. I’m sixteen and have been diagnosed with multiple anxiety disorders. I’m an excellent child who only receives straight As and never gets into any trouble. As someone who has generalized anxiety disorder, someone watching me constantly creates paranoia. I always feel like I’m doing something wrong even if I’m just going down the street to starbucks. This is an AWFUL app and I truly hope it gets removed one day once the creators realize how traumatizing it is. I am fully worthy of receiving my parents trust based on the fact I have never done anything bad, such as gone to parties, done drugs, drank alcohol, anything like that. I don’t have a social life and I only spend time with my boyfriend. This app allows my parents to constantly track my location which causes just worsens my mental health issues. Whenever I get home from doing anything, I am bombarded with questions about where I was and what I was doing. The app is incredibly inaccurate at times and it shows that I am places almost a block away at times. It’s exhausting to answer to my helicopter parents when I get home every night. You say your intentions with the app were positive and I call that absolute bull crap. No teen has experienced anything positive with this app.

Teen Management. This App works perfectly for parents to know where their children are at all times. The purpose of parents knowing where our children are is not to ‘catch them in the act’ perse. It works for parents to know their kids are ok and god forbid anything should happen, we as parents will know where their located. In my opinion, if teenagers and the like don’t like the app because of its accuracy as to their location, then I expect those children are somewhere they are not supposed to be or doing something they are not supposed to be doing, or both. If children tell their parents where they are going and later decide to go somewhere else then they should either text their parents of the change in plans or have a good explanation why they were located somewhere else. Sorry for the rant! But kids, we parents care most about your safety and it’s for that reason parents have this app. On a side note, I have 2 teenage boys, that think they are grown. And occasionally turn off location services. Since the phones are on my account and I pay for them, I should be able to control the location function for this app on their phones. Wish we had that capability!

Can’t live without this app!. I have 3 teenage drivers in my house! This app brings me so much peace of mind knowing where they are, and how they are doing. I don’t want to have to call or text them while they are driving, I don’t want them to have that distraction, so I can just check the app and I know exactly where they are and even how fast they are driving. I don’t use this app because I don’t trust my kids. They always tell me where they are going, with whom, and when they plan to be home. But a mom never stops worrying “did they make it there” “have they left yet” “is everything okay”. Now I don’t have to bother them or require them to text me every time they get somewhere or leave. I just look at the app, and I know. My kids really love it too, because they can keep track of me and know if I’m at target or mall, and can ask me to grab something for them, or they know when I’ll be home. I can even track when dad leaves work, so I know when to make dinner and it will still be warm when he gets home! Can’t live without it! Thank you for making such a useful app! Thank you for peace of mind!

Thank you for listening to teens. I’m 18, I live on my own, my parents never used life360. They respected me enough to understand that I am my own person, not an extension of them. If my mom ever feared for my safety, she would call and text. I always told her where I was going, because we had a great deal of mutual trust between us. I got into my fair share of trouble as a minor, but not nearly as much as I would have if I knew I was being watched. The lack of privacy that teens are given when they’re forced to use this app just makes them sneakier, and they’re more likely to get themselves into dangerous situations, just to avoid being punished. Ghost mode is a fantastic addition to this app. All of the safety features are still enabled, just with the location turned off. I respect the company so much more knowing that they listened to the young people that this app is often weaponized against. If this company, who literally designed an app that you use to spy on your children, can understand that they deserve privacy, why can’t you? Please be respectful of your kids, understand that they are human, just like you, and they deserve privacy. Open and honest communication is the first building block of a trusting relationship between you and your kid(s).

Best app I’ve used!. This app has done so much for me and my family. Anyone with teenagers understands that we, as parents want to make sure our kids are safe. This app allows us that opportunity. There have been times that my older teenager is going into work before dawn, or driving home before the hurricane weather begins. Those moments can be nerve wracking for me. I am able to utilize this app to make sure she’s driving home or how far from home is is located. That way I am not calling or texting her which would be distracting. When my daughter first started driving to college, it was an hour away and she had to go through really rural towns. She had pulled over because the weather was so bad but she wasn't sure of her exact location . We were able to see on the app where she was located and it gave us directions to her and her vehicle. Most parents can relate, but There are times she goes to a friends house but forgets to let me know she made it. This app, once again, provides me the security of knowing she made it there so I do not worry. I will recommend this app a million times over. Definitely worth every penny!!

Awesome App to Help Parents Coach New Drivers. I want to start by saying that I am not one of those parents that enjoys stalking their children. Having come out of the worst of the pandemic, my wish for my children is to have lots of moments when they are unmonitored, unrestricted, and free to develop and mature without constant adult supervision. That being said, having the ability to monitor their driving habits is a huge comfort. I now live in a state that did not require either of my children to pass a behind-the-wheel driver’s exam before receiving their full licenses. This was a right of passage in my own upbringing that I am somewhat horrified they were not required to fulfill. And though I don’t sit and watch their progress on the drive second by second, I do appreciate getting an alert when they reach their destination. It is nice to know they got there safely. I also am notified about their top speed along that drive. This helps me understand if they are staying within the parameters of the law so that I might have conversations with them if either of them slip in to habits that are not safe.

STOP MAKING CHANGES FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE!. This app was wonderful at first. But after so many changes to it, it’s gone downhill. It constantly freezes, loses track of my loved ones, completely drains your battery, doesn’t update for hours sometimes so we never know where anyone is or if they made it to their destination safely. Was forced to update! HATE this even more now. Just more CLUTTER!!!!! We dont need all these little cartoon character telling us someone is in their car. We KNOW theyre in their car thats why we come here to see where they are! If I wanted to WAVE at someone Id still be on that crap facebook site! Why would I wave at someone or send them one of chat options while they’re DRIVING? And the dark colors you have on our names now are horrible!!!! STOP MAKING CHANGES JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE!!!! Instead do something about this app constantly losing people and not updating for hours and hours while we dont know where our loved ones are. I got on this site to make sure my loved ones are safe- not to have to worry because the app wont update (yes their phones are fully charged) or to send them little pics and messages. We have TEXT on our phones for that crap!!! On the hunt for a better app now!!!!

Very Invasive. Im a teenager and I’m not being like other teens and just wanting it removed. I’d like this app to be removed for a different reason, because when I’m out driving around for fun with my boyfriend she thinks I’m coming home always when I told her what time I’d be home and what I’m doing exactly, she was tracking me and watching it the whole time cayse my boyfriend lives in the next town over abt 12 minutes from my town and we went on the road that leads straight to my house, she wouldn’t have known I was there unless she was watching me the whole time. Kind of creepy and invasive. I’m not a bad kid and I don’t do bad things, I try my best in school and I always listen to her but that does make me feel like I’m doing everything wrong when I feel like she’s just sticking her nose right up my alley and needing to know where I am at all times. Constantly asking me what I’m doing when I leave my dads house (my parents are divorced) always, always, always checking my brother and seeing where he is when he is 18 and lives on his own, he tried to turn off location but got yelled at by my mom to turn it back on, when she knows dang well he’s 18 ans can make his own choices. She’s controlling mine and my brothers life with this app and I feel like it should get removed, I hope you consider removing it. I’d appreciate it and so would MANY MANY others! Just no privacy at all!

PSA. After reading some of these reviews, I would just like to say that it is not the creators fault that individuals aren’t using the app for what it’s intended. I used to have what I considered strict parents myself until they realized that I was going to do what I wanted to do anyways, which is why we decided on this app. I have amazing experiences with it and it is one of the main reasons my mom allowed me more freedom as a teen. As long as I was honest with her about where I was going, she gave me free rein. With the condition that I stayed in contact and that she always had my location in case things went south. This worked tremendously for my family. On many occasions when I was a much more rebellious teen, I would go out to parties and I wasn’t sure about a way home or sometimes even where I was. My mom would just get directions to me through life360 and I wouldn’t have to worry about putting myself in an unsafe situation to find my way home. I’m now 19 years old & still in the same circle with my parents and even my bestfriend since I was 15. I really appreciate this app a ton

This app gives me piece of mind when I let my teens go out.. There are many aspects of this app I love, but my favorite feature of this app is the safety component. One day my son was out riding his bike and he was lost. It was getting dark and he was 10 miles away from home. Through the app I was able to map him, find him, and bring him home safely. In another incidence, my son fell off his bike and the bike was damaged and he was not able to ride home. Once again I was able to easily find him. This app allows my teens to have some freedom at the same time gives me piece of mind. If they are running late, I quickly look to see where they are and I either remind them its time to come home, or I can see they are on their way without the barrage of texts. It also allows me to see what my family’s phone charge is-so if I dont get a call I can see if my boys (or husband) phones are dead. I don’t have drivers yet but I intend to use that service too. I really love this app. As for the boys (15 and 13)- they were thankful those few times I was able to find them so quickly. My boys use the app as well to see where I am when I am picking them from school. It is truly and wonderful app!

Awesome. My daughter and I witnessed a car accident and I asked her to call 911 while I went to get the driver out of the vehicle as it was filling with smoke. My daughter went into panic mode and had no clue where we were, even though we drove through that area everyday. She was almost 15 at the time and I thought if she ever had an accident of her own , she would probably react the same. A few weeks later, I ran into an old co worker of mine and she told me about this app. We downloaded it and I fell in love with it. We added My dad, who is retired, to our circle and when he hears about accidents etc that’s in our area or daily routes, he can look and have peace of mind knowing that we are safe. My daughter now 17, had a accident over the summer and just as I suspected, when she called me, she couldn’t tell me where she was. I’m so glad we heard and downloaded this app. I was able to see exactly where she was and get help to her as she was almost an hr away visiting relatives and I was at work. You never know how you’re gonna react in situations until it happens, so for the teens that don’t want or like this app, it’s for your parents peace of mind and not necessarily a violation of privacy.

A Lifesaver!. This is literally one of the most valuable apps that exists. As a parent, this has really helped put my mind at ease when it comes to worrying about my kids and their safety. My young adult son has no problem with the fact that he’s on this and he knows that we don’t care where he is —we just wanna know that he is safe or that we can trace his last steps if God forbid, something terrible were to happen to him. We also live in a city where sex trafficking is huge and every parent should have this app. I think about a young man who went missing right before Christmas, and they found his vehicle - he had crashed into a tree on a country road. He walked away from the scene but I don’t think they’ve found him yet. If he had life 360 they could have seen right away from the crash detection that he had crashed and could’ve found his location. It breaks my heart that they didn’t have something like this easy subscription. Every teen and every young adult should have a network of friends or family who they share this app with because it’s a dangerous world and this app is a lifesaver. THANK YOU for creating this!

Best app out there for busy families, hands down!. The best app out there for busy families, hands down! Pre-Covid, everyone in my family had busy schedules - my sister travels a lot for work, my parents travel a lot to golf, and my brother commutes about an hour for work. This app keeps us all on the same page. My parents are able to sleep more soundly, knowing where their kids are, that their kids are safe, and knowing that if we were to get into an accident, Life360 is right there. For me, it even gives me peace of mind. Before we had Life360 there were a few times my brother would go out with his friends, forget to call/text them, and not come home. Which left my parents worried sick, and calling me to try and figure out where he was. Now that we have Life360 this hasn’t been an issue - we are able to just check the app to see where he is and where he’s been to make sure he’s somewhere safe. We’ve even used it to find his lost phone before. The SOS Help Alert button also lets us rest easy, knowing that when he is out, if something were to happen, he could just use it. I honestly feel like if you care about your family’s safety, you should have this app.

The Best. I use this app all the time, I have two families set up on Life 360 and it helps me keep track of the grandchildren and my daughter **update review: I read the reviews that some people put out there talking about trust. I’m an adult my children are adults we use it as a family between us and the teenagers in the family for safety. With everything going on in our society it’s scary to think think that someone may be car jacked while traveling or if something happens while someone is at work or school we have a last known area to look. Not to mention that we have gone to great lengths to share with members of our family ways to hide the phone if someone approached them so that we can track them if needed. I’m not going to loose sleep worrying about my family if I can locate them after not hearing from them after a few days. I can look on Life360 and if they don’t answer a call I can go to them this has happened when my family couldn’t reach me yet saw where I was on Life360. So don’t look at this app as a tool where you aren’t trusting someone look at it as a tool where you could be helping someone.

I knew before the Deputy knocked on my door. My husband was involved in a vehicle accident late one night this year while on duty. When it happened I was asleep in bed and received a phone call from my son who lives a few states away. He was frantic, stating that Life360 had alerted him that his dad had been in an accident. He said he called his dad, and he that he made a comment about an accident and he had to call him back. Now I was still half asleep, so I tried calming my son down telling him that his dad was probably “working” an accident scene and couldn’t talk right then. When I hung up my phone, it was then when saw the alert spread across my phone that he had either been in an accident or braked hard. I tried calling him and received no answer. After trying to call again and leaving him a voice message, that’s when the loud knocking started on my door. After opening the door and seeing a scared deputy, I just asked “ he’s been in an accident hasn’t he?” And her response was “a really bad one”. If it hadn’t been for the fact that my son had actually spoken to him and I knew he was alert and coherent, I would have been petrified.

Thankful Mom and Dad. Thank you Life360 for offering a tool to offer a peace of mind when our son is behind the wheel. You see, on January 8, 2019, I logged into Life360 to see the location of our son. I knew he was on his way home from basketball practice and as time passed knew he had plenty of time to arrive home. I logged back into Life360 and noticed he had stalled a mile from home. Still no movement, I decided to go check on him. Lots of thoughts crossed my mind. Did he get pulled over by the police, was he in an accident, or maybe out of gas. After calling his phone several times and no answer, I decided to go look for him. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about our precious kiddo! As I pulled up to the scene, I kept hollering “please Jesus let him be ok”. Mason was nowhere to be found. Rescue and police were everywhere. His Jeep was destroyed. Not knowing the condition Mason was in, I ran back to my car and drove to the hospital. He was immediately life flighted to another state. Mason spent time in ICU with the most amazing doctors and nurses. We know why and how he survived the wreck. JESUS! Thank you Life360! With the help of your app, I was able to get to our son. Life360 is an awesome tool and provides a peace of mind!

App used daily. Our family loves this app. We have used it daily for roughly three years. You can customize the alerts so you know when your children arrive at home or leave. It’s also helpful to know approximate arrival times. We have used this when vehicles have failed are on the side of the road and we have needed to locate them using the directions button. Also great for determining a faster or more efficient route. We felt safer while our oldest was away at college just knowing she was in the campus vicinity (expand the boundaries) but took off the alerts because we don’t need to track her every move. Instead of asking “where are you” or “when will you be home” this shows current location and fairly accurate time estimate. To any of those opposed to the app for “too much tracking” or invading their space, anything can be taken to extremes. It does beg the question of what are you hiding if you don’t want your parents to know where you are? In our house, if I pay for your phone, I’m the one who will call the shots on which app remains. Aa parent to three and a spouse to one, locating family members on Life360 is one less worry.

Need to know basis.... I am offering this rating because I am coming from a perspective where we use 360 on a “need to know basis”. We are not perfect as parents. Our kids are not perfect as they embark on their teen years, we expect mistakes and diversions from what and where they are supposed to be. That said, we use Life 360 as an entire family because it serves us when we need it. It gives us exactly the amount of info that we need when we need it. We do not intend on tracking our kids every move. While there have been times we need to do a little of that, it was temporary. And now, I frequently hear both of my kids saying “just check 360-you will know where we are” in response to me saying “where did you guys go tonight?” Mind you, this is not a tool to replace conversation. That happens at the dinner table and at breakfast. It is an app that allows me to feel like I can keep my kids safe, especially when they go away to college. I have no intention of checking it daily. And quite frankly, they check on me more than I check on them. So, thank you 360! Keep up the great work.

Life Saver. Contrary to popular belief Life360 does not have to be used to “spy”. I use Life360 as more of a safety feature. When my daughters were living at home, the app would notify me when they got to the high school, when they got home and when they got to work. By the chime, I knew that they had gotten to their destination safely. It is not that I was “spying”; it just made me feel better knowing they were safe. Now that they are both in college, I use it to make sure they arrived at their apartment safely. I also like that I can see where they are during their three hour drive and also see their speed. In this crazy world, knowing that our children are safe is and should be everyone’s number one priority!! Also, we get a huge laugh because our dogs have now been trained to recognize the “arrived at home” chime. They start barking and get excited when they hear it because they know one of their humans are home. This also works in reverse, they can see where I am during my drives to see them and they also can see when I am at home safely. Everyone benefits! Please fight to keep this app alive! Thanks Life360!!

Update needed for design in crash alert please. We love Life 360! We were in a terrible crash this past weekend and it is A miracle that we are alive! The Life 360 alert almost immediate which was great as we were trapped upside down. The only thing is in the immediate aftermath it’s hard to do basic functions. I hit the button that we had a wreck and the button asking if we needed help popped up and I hit it by accident. There was no confirm you don’t need help it was just gone. I couldn’t dial 911 because my brain was rattled from the crash. The Life 360 also immediately after my message and mix up sent me an alert that my husband might have been in an accident and I should check on him. Great app and great features but I think you should tweak this part a little. Bigger buttons not in the same part of the screen and a confirm you don’t need help button for back up safety. I know that probably sounds silly and I might have thought so too until I just experienced this. I was call but my brain was just rattled. Also maybe a feature if you detect a crash and their location doesn’t change you re-alert and send help or something in case someone is unconscious or can’t reach/find their phone.

Very thoughtful app - but still a way to share location with friends/strangers and direct message. Kids think parents use this app to “track them” because they are kids and they don’t understand that parents use this app for peace of mind mainly to make sure kids are getting to where they need to be safely. I am grateful for this app. Not only does it show where your family circle is, but it has the ability to show speed, phone usage, possible car accidents, fast stopping, and many other useful safety features and it shows when family members leave and arrive from certain locations (i.e school and home). It’s an excellent app. The only thing I dislike is that kids can add people and create other “circles” which show where each other is and they can direct message with them. This opens up another avenue for dangerous activity if they are sharing location with strangers and another way to direct message people on their phone. So parents- you need to check your kids Life360 app and make sure they aren’t using it for friends and sharing their locations and direct messaging with others outside of your family circle.

Keep in Touch with Teens. As a parent of two teens with increasing freedoms and responsibilities, Life 360 helps me support my children as they learn how to navigate this ever changing world... safely. The app has come in handy when my teens forget to charge their phones before going out; I can make sure to communicate a plan with them before the battery dies. When one of my teens is busy socializing and forgets to let me know when he/she will be home (and doesn’t respond to my messages), I can look on Life 360 and see that he/she is on the way home and can estimate how long it might take. My kids have also used it to see where I am when they come home and realize I’m not there as they expected - but really the just didn’t pay attention when I ran through the day’s agenda... Overall, gives me peace of mind to know where my family members are and helps hold us all accountable throughout the day. It also holds me accountable when I drive - I know that some of my teens’ friends also have the app and knowing that their parents can see how fast I am driving, honestly keeps me in check - I have precious cargo onboard!!

Horrible service. I pay for the platinum subscription, because I have a large family. The Platinum subscription “claims” to include: 24/7 roadside assistance. My brother is a US marine. His car broke down in the middle of a highway - in the middle of a rain storm, and the dispatch service didn’t work. The dispatch service says that’s someone will be right out with no ETA. They hung up, and shortly after, my brother started receiving calls from a service claiming to be affiliated with them, and then asked for $42 for an emergency tow. He was less than 10 miles from his destination, and platinum includes UP TO 50 MILES OF FREE TOW, so his tow should’ve been free. Instead he waited for hours for no reason because no one was able to help him. This app doesn’t come with any sort of disclaimer that states that waiting times are INDEFINITE with no idea as to when someone can help you, or IF they can help you at all. It’s a one second read - “24/7 dispatch. 50 miles of free tow. $20 bucks a month” sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? God forbid you get stranded somewhere (and you pay the monthly fee FOR THIS SERVICE) don’t count on this app to help. My brother came out of pocket TWICE for a tow truck, and Life360 didn’t help any. This app is a waste of money. Don’t bother - it’s another government way to spy on your location, don’t be fooled !

Excellent for peace of mind. We began using Life360 over 5 years ago when our oldest child began driving. We recommended it to all of our friends. Some wondered if their kids would complain about privacy. We simply explained to our kids that having Life360 active on their phones was a condition of using our vehicles and being allowed to go out with friends. Over the years since each of our kids found times when they were glad to have it. In fact my college senior made sure it was on when she recently took a trip. During their first year of driving, we utilized the premium features that include crash detection and emergency assistance too. I should warn you though, it did not take my son long to discover he could track mom and dad too, lol. If that bothers you as parents, you can limit your location reporting, but we find it quite reassuring in these times of surprise protests and unrest that we know where they are and they know where we are. They also learned to trust us as parents that we are not interested in tracking their every move, just making sure they are safe. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try.

Family Friendly. Our family begin using Life360 almost 10 years ago when both of our boys were driving and one of them was getting involved with drugs. One son would disappear for days on end and we didn’t know if he was dead or alive. We found Life360 and presented it to our boys asking them to please trust us enough to be able to see where they were just in case the unthinkable might happen so we could at least find them if their phone was still with them. It turned out to be a huge blessing for all of us! Not only in the critical times, but to be able to find each other quickly, give them directions if they are lost, oh and fun things like knowing how far away family is from arriving at our home for the holidays. We highly recommend this app for family and friends who want to stay in touch. We have loved ones who live in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maine, etc. It truly makes you feel closer when you can see each other through Life360. And what’s nice is if you don’t want people to see where you are, you just turn off the Wi-Fi on the app and then turn it back on again when you’re ready.

Gives me peace of mind. As my kids are getting older and need more freedom I feel comforted knowing that if anything happened I would at least be able to locate them. I don’t use the app to “spy” and my kids understand that it goes both ways. They can see where I am and I can see where they are, if needed. I like the feature that lets me know the status of their battery life and they’re ok with it too because sometimes they forget to charge up and don’t mind a reminder. My son is starting to drive and I need him to feel accountable for his driving habits so he create meaningful, healthy habits when it comes to something as serious as the responsibility of driving. This app helps me feel secure that I’m making the right choice giving them more and more freedom the older they get and as needed. In my opinion, as long as you use this tool in an honest, respectful way with open communication, your kids will understand that you care and want to give them the freedom they need to grow while still keeping peace of mind for yourself. I’ve used Life360 for years now and would recommend it to any of my friends and family.

Helped Rescue my Son. THANK YOU LIFE 360!! We decided to get this app 6 years ago when our oldest started driving for additional security and peace of mind. We are not the track your kids every movement type of people. Kids or should I say adults, now 22 & 19 still have app. Fast forward to long drives to and from college and different safety features. But, the reason I’m writing this review is that 2 years ago, 10 miles from home on the end of an 8 hour drive home from college, our son was in a horrific accident. His rear corner bumper was hit causing him to hit the side of the road which spiraled into him flipping 5 times at 70 mph during rush hour on a busy TX highway. Luckily he walked away BUT LIFE 360 ACTIVATED AND CALLED 911. EMERGENCY CREWS WERE ON SCENE IMMEDIATELY!! Life 360 works and performed the features we are using it for. I can’t recommended this app enough. I do know college families that have Life 360 for this purpose only and kids turn it off and on. Honestly my boys never complain and have also called me to say “I’m lost. Find me and tell me where to go”. And for the record, I have normal college kids admittedly out to all hours of the night.

Very Helpful. This is an excellent app that works precisely as designed. When our oldest son turned 16 we made a decision to use Life360. From our experience, I cannot stress enough that clear communication prior to installing this app is imperative in getting buy in from your teenagers. Yes, it is better to have buy in than to play a version of the because-I-said-so card. We have known parents who waited until their teenager missed a curfew or there was some other negative issue requiring assertion of parental authority. We know from parent friends that installing the app under those circumstances gets associated with punishment and is invariably met with resistance that brings constant argument. In our case, Life360 was accepted by both teenage drivers in our house. My wife and I also have the app turned on at all times which has also helped with buy in by our boys. This app has been very helpful to us in our house. The app works precisely as designed. Clear, open communication with your teenagers about installing Life360 as part of the responsibility that comes with the privilege of driving is the key to getting the most out of this app.

Great app for the purpose, but by far the most annoying. So I would’ve given this app 4-5 stars. It does what it’s supposed to, it’s probably the best on the market for that purpose. But I’m setting this review at 1 star because it WILL NOT stop asking for a review! When I click “no” that generally means NO!! Every other app I own that begs for a review will take no for an answer and never beg me again, except for this stupid app. Then on top of that, I can’t even JUST get the notifications that I need, no no no that would be too convenient. Instead, they have to send me at least 10 extra notifications per day about their stupid membership deals. I’ve had this app for about a year now, if I wanted or needed a membership I think I would’ve gotten one by now. I’d love to be able to hear a life360 alert and think “oh this means something is up with my loved one, I better check!” But actually what I end up thinking is “ugh another stupid life360 offer, god I want to just mute notifications but what if my loved one gets into a wreck?” Could y’all please update the god awful BEGGING from this annoying app? Y’all are probably owned by a mega-corp that is owned by Vanguard or Blackrock anyway, take y’all’s apps to the street corners to beg!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄 This review *will not* be altered, the one star will remain as a reminder to stop begging your users.
