Have not been working. Not sure what happened but this app stopped working. When you click on the song to create your tone, it just shut off and kicks you out of the app. After being kicked out, you have to start the process again and nothing works.

Ugh You Need a Computer & iTunes. Yes it’s super easy to create the ring tone in the app, but then you have to connect to iTunes on a computer to actually download and use it. What a pain. Garage Band is trickier to use but imports directly into your ringtones on your phone, much easier.

Works on purchased songs. I have figured out that it seems to work on songs purchased in iTunes or downloaded from a computer using iTunes. It does NOT work on songs downloaded using the iTunes music subscription. Otherwise, it’s a decent app.

Ringtone Designer. This app would get 5 stars, however since the last iPhone update, it consistently crashes? What happen? Please fix this as it’s the only one that truly works with iTunes music library.

I would give this no stars if that were an option. The fact that I payed even a penny for an app that does NOTHING it advertises, says plenty. I’m glad other people have had success with it, but the app never worked for me right from the second I downloaded it. I pick a song, and if it doesn’t crash as soon as I press it, it doesn’t let me preview the selection or even save it, not that I’d even know what I’m saving since you can’t listen to it. Ridiculous. Don’t charge for something that doesn’t work. Period.

Very easy to use. I really like this ringtone maker, because you don’t have to jump through hoops just to make a Ringtones for your phone!

Easy to use. Really simple to make ring and text tones from your music library. Even has a link to a video on how to transfer ring/text tones to your music library and then back to your phone.

ADD A SEARCH OPTION. I paid for this app 5 years ago and I’m still going strong with this app I love it so much. I don’t even care if it takes steps to get it on my phone but can you guys make it to where we can search for the song instead of scrolling through our entire library??? PLEASE

ios11 UPDATE #2. This is odd. Ringtone Designer Pro did not work at first after the ios 11 update. After downloading ANOTHER VERSION of Ringtone Designer it now works again. Blackout Labs never got back to me ( big surprise right) but I have both apps downloaded and they both do the exact thing. At least it works again.

Disappointed. I never pay for apps mostly because I’m cheap and I can find what I need for free. But when I was looking to get a ringtone maker app I figured it would be best to buy one. So I bought yours. But it literally hasn’t worked not one time since my purchase. Every time I touch a song the whole app completely crashes. This needs to be fixed ASAP! Then I’ll change my rating.

Amazing app, but tiny issue. Hi! I recently purchase the app and it is doing an amazing job making ringtones I want. However, there are a selective amount of songs that when I select it to make a ringtone, it abruptly kicks me out of the app and returns to the home screen. I really enjoy using this app and would much appreciate it if this tiny bug can be fix. Thank you!

Tones. This application has a cost but it is not operable. It says you can make several tones and it is only one tone that can do the same thing the Orange color application should fix. My I phone is XR

Easy to make, tones don’t work. I bought this because of the reviews. It is very easy to make ringtones from music library, but they don’t work on my iPhone. I HAVE watched the video, followed the instructions and no tones showing up on my phone. In addition, my other ringtones disappeared. Totally useless and I wasted money.

Great for Ringtones. This app was super easy for any songs your own, or willing to buy. I do wish you could make the text tone a little shorter. I like my text tones very short.

Excellent!. This app works, it’s easy to use, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had no technical difficulties at all: at this writing I have a nearly 3-year-old iPhone 6s on OS 11.4 and I work off an older Windows 10 Pro laptop with the current iTunes. So happy to find this app! (Of course, now I’m staying up way late making a whole new tones library, but that’s a happy risk....)

#1 Must have. The best ringtone maker I have had it for a couple of years it’s easy to use.

Don’t Be Fooled Totally Outdated Tech From Decades Ago. This app is total junk and relies on tech from 20 years ago for it to function. Let me begin by asking what is iTunes? Certainly something my grandfather thought was real high-speed and nifty along with his new fangled Walkman and microwave oven. I would have given this app zero stars if it were possible but I suppose 1 star is appropriate. Maybe the developer can use it to develop some type of speed control regulator for cars. This would be awesome. Just think, wouldn’t it be so nice to not haven to use the accelerator pedal to cruise at a constant and steady speed during long trips down the Oregon Trail. If only there was something that could wipe the windshield on demand when it rains. My face gets real wet and chapped after having to stick it out of the drivers side window to see where I’m going. I know, wishful thinking — but it sure would be nice....sigh.......

Glitchy-. Works about 1/4 to 1/2 the time. You have scroll (no search capability) through your entire music library to find the song you want and then when you click on it..... The app shuts down. FRUSTRATION!! No ryme or reason as to why it won't use the song in your library...it just shuts down. But when it "does work" it works great as advertised. Be sure to have the song downloaded to your phone or device prior to attempting to make it a ringtone.

This app works. So simple! Finally an app that works with an iPhone! I have been trying to get a certain ringtone on my iPhone for several years...not kidding. I am very pleased got it on the phone and set the custom ringtone to my contact. BIG THANKS

Not working ! Waste of money.. Bought the app because of the good reviews, and it was a waste of MONEY. It doesn’t even work for my iPhone X like it said it would. It won’t even play my songs when you select the song, and when i selected a song it won’t even play when you try making a ringtone. Kept giving me an error message. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. I don’t see how it has this many good reviews.

Works fine on my iPhone 8. I would like to be able to rename my selection of text tones, rather than having "recording 1", "recording 2" Otherwise, fine app. Brian J.

Crashing. I have used the free and now the paid app for several years. Lots of success until the most recent few months. It keeps crashing on me all the time. I have deleted it and reinstalled it to no avail. Prior to several months ago o have given this 4/5 stars. Oh, and can’t get any response from their “customer service” email.

It keeps crashing!. It used to perform wonderfully. Now it just crashes when I choose a song. I removed the app then reinstalled and still no luck.

Used for years. Usually great and my go too making ringtones. But since iOS 12 the program keeps crashing as soon as I pick a song. Hope this is fixed soon.

Needs controls. When you open the app there is no way to go to the instructions if you created a ring tone but then had to exit the app before you could follow instructions. There should be a help link.

Annoyed. I’ve used this app to create ringtones for both my iPhone 7+ and iPhone 8+ and it worked fine, no problems. I just got my IPhoneXS Max on Friday and every time I go to make a ringtone the app crashes and closes. I’ve tried deleting and downloading again and still nothing. Considering this was a paid app I’m beyond annoyed. FIX IT !

Love the app but.... I love this ringtone app. It’s easy to use and easier to put on my phone with no problems. My one big issue is removing the ringtones from the app after you’re finished. I’ve had the app since April and the ringtone since then are still there. I’d love it even more if there was way to delete the ringtones after you are finished.

Good job on this app But.. It would be an AWESOME app if you could add to Ringtones directly from the app to your phone instead of having to hook it up to the computer/iTunes Library sharing. Definitely a five-star if they were able to do that, to me at least!!!

Doesn’t work. Keeps Closing.. From the moment I downloaded the app, I select a downloaded song from my iTunes library and I click the song and the application closes itself every time. It doesn’t work whatsoever. Download it if you wanna waste your money, or just go buy a happy hour beer.

The best. This is the easiest app I have found to make ringtones. Works right every-time. And I hate technology.

Paid the extra dollar for nothing. Too bad they didn’t tell you they were only giving you two extra seconds for your dollar. They made it seem like you would have enough time to make a maybe a 10 second ringtone. The original ones were much better. It’s not enough it’s time for a real ringtone

Text tone. The text tone music should be longer.

Ringtones. I’m having an issue deleting the ringtones off my iPhone that I made with this app . I’ve deleted them off the app but they still appear on my phone . I’d appreciate help in removing them . I’ve even deleted the app and after syncing my phone to iTunes they are still on my phone .

Too easy! Great ringtone maker!. Been using this since the developer created it. Very simple app. This is the best ringtone maker. The developer needs to make it so you don’t have to use iTunes to add it to your ringtones.

I LOVE THIS RINGTONES APP!. This app is awesome! I’ve been using it for awhile after it was out, I don’t have to buy ringtones for my iPhone anymore and now I get my favorite parts of each song I listen to! I rather buy apps than getting them for free because you won’t have to deal with Ads & Pop-ups. I don’t know why some iPhone users have to complain about a dollar or two, trust me it’s best to buy it than for free because there’s always a catch remember that!

Very fun and easy to use!. I like how you can now stop a tone in the middle instead of having to wait through the whole thing, but I wish there was a way to start half way through instead of waiting the whole bit. Still really good app though.

Only work on certain songs. Crash upon open new song. It appears this app only work on old songs. If you select any new song to play as review, there will be no sound and just do nothing. If you select to open any new song, the app will crash and shut down.

GO BUY IT!!!. The only problem I have with the update or upgrade actually is that the Ringtones aren’t five seconds longer that’s it everything else is awesome go buy it

Only Crashes. I enjoyed the basic version so much that I upgraded but each time I add a song to record it completely crashes the app. To make things worse now the original app also crashes each time I attempt a recording. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, closing all background apps and repeatedly resetting the phone all to no avail. I really wanted to enjoy this program but have been left with only disappointment and a little less money

Super great update, only one thing I would change…. I have praised this app several times before as it is by far the best ringtone app. The new update for iOS 11 is really quite fantastic. There’s only one thing that I would change and that is to add back in something that is missing from the previous version. There is no “search bar” anymore where I could type in the name of the song and go directly to it. Now I have to scroll through my playlists, my artists, or my songs to find the particular one I want. If you could put back in that search bar, this would pretty much be the most perfect ringtone app out there. Keep up the great work!

Great App. Excellent product, easy to use and little chance anyone else has the same ringtone.

Good app. Paid version still makes you sync on computer, then you play it and THEN you can add to phone. Works fine but luckily I use a computer. This technique will allow you to make tones but is time consuming and cumbersome/outdated.... Is it possible on paid app to just add directly to phone from phone. This is what people are looking for . Fun app but time consuming.

A little apprehensive at first, but :D. Was quite afraid to download after seeing some negative comments but the app works perfectly fine. Got my ringtones up and running in no time. 30 sec for a ringtone is more than sufficient. Cannot believe that the app was available at such a cheap price. Worth the money!!!

Crashes. I tapped on a song and it crashed. Deleted app, downloaded again and still the same result. Please fix.

Was 5star awesome, now broken. Does not play. Unusable if I cannot hear the music to select the part of the song I want to use.

However this app has prompted me to get motivated and write a review. Nothing better than an app that does EXACTLY what it says its going to do and is so easy to use. Astounding!. When I bought this program, I didn't expect it to be like this! I thought it would be like many of the other programs that offer you "free" ringtones every day. Some things I would like to see is the ability to set a fade in and fade out and be able to change the volume of the song. Overall, this is a great app. Does what it describes, presents itself in a stylised look, supports multitasking and has a big button for easy use. Keep up the great work guys.

Good app that does what it says it does. This app does exactly what it says it will do. I was a little concerned reading the reviews from people who were unable to get it to work but thought id risk it. I think the ppl who say it isn't working should take the time to watch the instructions. Granted it is a 3 step process to get the ringtone in the right spot but it does get there. Without too much fuss. (as long as you RTFM!) :)

Absolutely fantastic. This ring tone designer is fun and easy to use. Iv'e managed to create my own custom ringtones from my music library with I tunes. All you do is pick a song from ur phone edit and save. Then sync it with I tunes, go to apps, select ringtone designer. pick your tune save it to my docs in windows, in the iTunes folder, named ringtones. Then select what you want, cut n paste it in iTunes under ring tones, then sync again. That's it. So easy people, I'd recommend this to all who want to customize there tones. I rate this 5 stars all the way.. Must have app..

DOES NOT WORK. I think the app needs an update as I jut purchased this app because of the good reviews and people suggesting it to me and it will not work. It loads up the screen to choose a song and as soon as you choose one. It exits the app

Rubbish. You click on a song to attempt to make a ringtone and app shuts down every time.

Great ringtone app. Works flawlessly on iPhone XS Max. No issues when copying ringtones from ‘File Sharing’ to the desktop then dragging the ringtones to ‘Tones’ as described in the video. The paid version allows you to create a much longer ringtone. This is a must have app for myself.

Useless. No search function and crashed every time

LOVE IT. Works great if you know how to use it...After making the ringtone using the app you have to connect your phone to computer, go to 'apps' and copy the ring tones to a separate folder on your desktop (for example) then load them into itunes ringtones from the folder then sync your phone and they appear in your settings as ring tones. No problem with it. Great application if you don't want to pay for ringtones!

Here is how.. The quickest way to put this on your computer and the only one that worked for me was to minimise my screen a bit so I could see the ringtone and desktop. Then click and drag the ringtone to the desktop. Then open the rintones library and click and drag the ringtone from the desktop to the ringtone folder. I hated it before.... but now I love it. Would only wish I could make the ringtone longer about 60 secs rather than 40.

Pretty Darn Good!. The only serious flaw is that the app crashes now and then. Apart from that, it does what it says it will and has more than paid for itself with one or two uses. Plus, I can have any ringtone I want - even if iTunes doesn't sell it (which is a bonus because a lot of what they sell in the way of ringtones doesn't grab me). The only thing I don't like is that I have to synch the phone to be able to use the newly-created tones. Once this is done, they're always there, but it is rather annoying. However, this may be something to do with how the iPhone works; I really don't know. Otherwise, I love it. Thanks! :)

On the right track!. It plainly states in the description that you must sync with iTunes to load ringtones into settings. There is no misleading going on. Good idea having fine tune buttons for moving the whole segment, but it would be more useful to have a set of buttons at the top for the starting point, and at the bottom (like you have) for the stoping point. Not a  app YET, but still worth the .

Great App. Even better support. This is a great App. At first had a few issues with loading created ringtones BUT sent an email asking for help and was responded to almost immediately. I think some people are too quick to give a bad rating when they haven't asked for help from supplier. All working sweet and no problems at all. Other App providers should take a leaf out of their book. 5 stars from me.

Don’t waste your money. What a con, this app is a total waste of money. Every time you select the music to turn into a ringtone the app crashes. Simple put it’s a worthless piece of $hit.

Great App! 👍. I love this app! Never have to buy ringtones again & after recently using it after not using it for a while I find I can make text tones too - fantastic! The only downfall is that you have to sync with iTunes rather than being able to save directly to your phone, but it's not a big deal - it's easy to do. Thanks guys, really great app!

Great app!!. This app is amazing. It is easy to use and looks good too. It's very well developed and the team has done a great job at creating such a good app. If there was one thing I would improve on would be to try and find a method of checking which ringtones you have created. Something like the button in the top right of the iPod, where when you click on it would reveal the list of ringtones ready for transfer, I think that will make this app perfect. Obviously the syncing to iTunes part is mediatory and I see no way around that but if there could be a way of looking up the ringtones ready to transfer it would be perfect. Once again great app, keep up the good work!!

Best ever ringtone maker. This is by far the best and easiest ringtone maker on the app store, I have been a long time user of this app and because I download music from I tunes I only purchase full songs and with this app I have a ringtone or now message tone from any song I wish .. And with every update it only gets better

Does not work on iPhone XS. I tried. It doesn’t load under file sharing. And it was not easy to find the file sharing as it does not come on easily. Is this going to work in the new iOS update? Found the file sharing then there is no data under ringtones although I have saved it.

Save heaps on ringtones. Love that I can pick any song from my iPhone and make a ringtone from it, and choose any part of the song, not just the chorus. Only improvement would be once you've selected the section of song for your ringtone, that you can play it back from any part in the section, not have to replay from the start each time. Annoying when trying to time the ending of your ringtone.

Not bad but still needs to be fixed. I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing as I found multiple artists/songs in whom I could not “copy” such as John Denver, Florence and the Machines to the Dueling Banjos. Just like what one of the previous reviews mentioned, I have even tried restarting my phone and used both the paid and unpaid version, yet it crashes or does not play the song. If there were no issues whatsoever like this, I would have given this a five star.

does the job. very simple to use, I just followed the video tutorial which came with the program... once loaded into my iphone I didn't realise it would be stored under 'custome ringtones' so I sent and email as at that time I hadn't located the ringtone. They were real quick in getting back. 5 stars for service and ease of program

Great app but.. It work perfectly for the first three and return to do more and don’t play selected song. The same happens with your other app. Some times I don’t mind paying for an apps but it must work. Also you have no contact maker. I will not rate this app for it is not working it maybe a setting or a small problem somewhere, but when it is going I will give it five stars for it is easy to use. Rodney.

so frustrating. This would be a great app if it worked properly...I paid $1.19 for this app and haven't been able to access all my saved ringtones in my iphone...its so frustrating. I have saved the apps to the desktop, sync, copied them in ringtones, sync again, when I go to sounds only one ringtone is on my iphone, then if I try it again that one will disappear and another one will be there. I can't seem to get them all. I also noticed taht I paid for the ringtone designer pro but the screen shots are different my screen shots seem to be the free version not the paid version. Whats going on with this app?

Simple and Fun. Being an iphone noob i thought one of the features would be using songs uploaded on to the iphone. I was initially disappointed when i found out that wasnt the case. This app solves this issue. Quick and easy to use after watching short instructional vid included in the app. You still need to connect to the pc/laptop you run itunes on to install the ringtones you have created but it is so user friendly. The only issue i had was that some of my songs were not able to be converted for an unknown reason but for just over $1 im not complaining.

Great App. This is a fantastic, easy to use app, giving it 5 stars although the one thing I think would improve the app would be the ability to move the orange slider so as to be able to determine the end of your ringtone without listening to the whole ringtone again. Good work guys, I'm sure you will fix that minor bug.

Really great app. Highly recommend this app it does what it is suppose to do, it took me a while to figure it out at first but then once you know what your doing it works wonders definitely worth the money I paid for this app, it is the only app that has worked for me and has done what I want it to do.

Awesome. Best tone maker!

Finally you can make custom ringtones. This app is legit and it actually works :) It doesn't straight away put the ringtone on your phone. You choose a segment of a selected song on the app, once your happy with it you press create. Then you need to sync your iPhone into iTunes in-order to upload the ringtone. EASY TO USE APP (Y)

Smart App. A very smart app that works wonderfully. Had a problem through my own ignorance of phone settings rather than the app itself. The creators promptly replied to my query with suggestions to remedy, Thanks Robb. Loading the rintones created in the app onto the phone through computor and itunes is no real drama, even for a technophobe like me.

Hassle free app. Great app, does what it promises and is very easy to use. Even a technophobe could do it. Would be better if you could adjust the length of the ringtone as currently it is a set time and also a list of all ringtones created would be easier. That being said it is very good for the price. Keep up the great work.

Ringtone designer is the best. This app is so cool it lets you get a ringtone at the place in the song you actually want and don't have to pay the price of a full song for a snippet. The only problem is that it would be so much better if it automatically put it into your ringtone folder without having plug your phone into the computer

Won’t work?. As soon as I select a song it shuts down. Rebooted phone. Reinstalled app. Still will not work. Not much point paying for something that doesn’t work first time. Very disappointing.

Awesome. This has to be one of the apps everyone should own, also I'd like if the next update has that when we listen to the song a bar goes across with the seconds moving too just to show where about's it is in the song so if we want to start recording from a different spot we know where it is not have to guess it.

Simple. This app is fantastic: easy to use, the tutorial video is great. Everyone has a personalized tone now!! My only thought for improvement: it would be great if there was a second/millisecond countdown in the playback. So when editing you can both hear and see where you want to chop the section.

Amazing!!!!!!. All You have to do is choose your song (on the I-Phone), Record it from your itunes library to the App, (on the I-phone), Find the file in the bottom of the Apps page under file sharing (after you have plugged in your I-Phone to your computer and selected the phone icon on the left of your screen), Transfer the song to the computer, (Best to save to desktop), Create Ringtones folder in I-Phones summary page,(This will automatically happen when you double click your song file on the desktop) and then sync the tune back to the phone, (Just make sure that once the ringtones folder has been created to check the sync ringtones button) EASY!!!!, well it was for me now i have the coolest ringtones ever!!!!!!!!!!, THE CHALLENGE IS ARE YOU SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE IT WORK???????

Very good. Would like to be able to play the last few seconds of the ringtone to select the end, rather than having to play the whole thing. Would also like the music selection to return me to where I last made a selection, rather than having to rechoose Artist and renavigate to the tracks I was making into ringtones. But these are minor frustrations in an app that is otherwise excellent.

Huge disappointment!!!. I downloaded the free app first and it kept shutting down every time I tried to select a song from my iTunes, so decided to buy the paid version and it’s doing the same, and I see that others have had the same problem and nothing has been done to fix the app. Feel like this was just a way to rip people off!! Would like my $1.50 back. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Does not work!!. I had the feee version and since the IOS 11 update it did not work. So I bought this version thinking that it would work. But no. So what a waste of time. NOT HAPPY JAN!!

Massive potential. Don't get me wrong, this app is great but does not deserve the stars just yet. Instead of bagging this app out like a few had done I would much rather point out some features it lacks and could make it better if implemented. - position locking (ability to lock the start and end markers as it's frustrating having to reset them when you accidentally move them.) - landscape mode - zoom into wave (to be able to precisely set the markers) - nudge controls (to help people with big fingers easily select the the marker positions) - playback controls (ability to pause, rewind, fast forward and select position when playing back the snip-it) - playback time (for the song and playback) - shortcuts to set a contact's ringtone (only when the publisher has figured out how to add ringtones automatically without the need for iTunes - if that is possible) Implement these well and you shall get the 5 stars from me.

Crap app. Doesn't work must have a Mac at home to make it work

Good but not great. It says u can make 20sec text tones but it doesn't; 8 sec. I even paid the two bucks or whatever for the premium version. Otherwise, it works - even before I paid for it the app was good

App only crashes!. I used to love this app and hadn’t used it for a while. Downloaded the PRO version (paid version) and all it does is crash! I’ve reached out to support but nothing. Was a waste of my money, and a total shame ... this app used to rock, now it is useless!

Does not work. Please give me my money back. This app will not work.

Biggest waste. Tried to create a ringtone by following the tutorial and instructions. Not only did it not create the ringtone all my music in my phone was erases including playlists and purchases. Huge waste such a disappointment.

hey. unlike the message on the free app where it states you can have longer length for your songs, it isnt the case with the pro, the lengths of my songs are as short as the free version. i dont know if this is a bug but untile further news, stick with the free version.

Works well, easy to use. You can use any part of a song in your library to have as a ringtone for your phone.

BS. So I sync the app, follow the instructions and now for some reason, my iPod powered down and won't turn back on, WTF

DON'T BOTHER. This app does nothing more than allow you to create a 40 second ringtone on your phone, rather than just doing it on your computer. You still have to follow the actual steps through itunes to do this - it's simply a waste of money this app and I regret getting it

Great!. Great app for the money. It could benefit from "zoom" capability to be able to cut the sequence exactly where you want it. Cannot turn it sideways - unfortunately - so the scale could be a bit bigger and easier to select the sequence. Perhaps on newer revisions.

Pretty good needs an update though.... This app was very useful, the video provides direct instruction which is much needed. However i did find that some songs i cropped from were 1.1mb. Which isnt bad obvioisly but those tones would not sync into my ringtones they were instead added into my itunes music library. This is a small issue which only happens on select songs. The songs that produced this defect were "Oh the Boss is Coming" by the Arkells and "Dead End Friends" by Them Crooked Vultures. Besides that though buy this app! Update: very impressed with the response by the developer, every update this app gets better, now worth 5 stars for sure, keep it up guys!

Worth 2 bucks.. Only two issues with this app: 1-you have to listen to whole ringtone every time you change something. 2-ringtone is limited to 30 seconds However, if you want to do on the iPhone...this is the best app out there. I gave it 4 stars because the added the fade button :). When creating a ringtone in iTunes, you can only use music purchased through iTunes so you cannot use the music you copied from your cd library. This app uses all songs in your library. Also other apps will make you go through the whole process and then give you a message that says "oops, cannot save". Probably unable to use certain file types. But you will not know until you have spent the time and are ready to save the ringtone. Hopefully they will fix the time length issue but for the money....a great buy!

Unamazed!. At first I loved this app then later figured out that you get charged for every song u make there's a song charge added on to your . I don't remembering reading about that but it charged me 20$ for ringtones.. When I made them off this app soposidly for free.. What's up with that?.. Not free ringtones you end up getting charged for each song u make from your service provider. Mine was bell. Booooo sucky..

Wicked App. Finally someone created what the I phone was missing for creating ringtones from your phone. A lot of friends don't have the garage band software to do this. I'm loving it! Already told so many people about this. For only .99 it's well worth it. Keep up the great work. I saw one comment about SMS sounds. That would be a very cool feature in an release or a different app by these guys. Either way, one of the best productive apps I have downloaded this year.

Great app!. Does what it says well. Worth the $0.99. With that said, here are some suggestions for improvement. BUG: Fade in/out only works once. After that it doesn't fade. However, if you exit to homescreen and then open the app again through the task bar fade works again, once. SUGGESTIONS: Give the ability to drag the time indicator bar to anywhere within the ringtone zone, so we don't have to listen to the whole ringtone every time we want to preview it. Add a page to preview all the ringtone files we have made. Add the ability to fade ONLY in or ONLY out.

Rip off. Used to use ringtone designer free app now they made pro so I thought doesn’t work for free so paid but guess what same thing. Every time try to pick song and it crashes. Rip off wasted some bucks

This app SUCKED when i first got it, but they created a better interface and a fade option... only thing missing now is to actually use the ringtones on ur phone without first syncing to iTunes and the ability to not have to listen to the whole ringtone again to hear where it ends... that would make this five stars!!

It's worth a dollar.. When I looked at ringtone versions of songs I already owned, I was not pleased with the parts of songs that were chosen and I wondered if I could do it better myself. It turns out there is an app for that and it's called Ringtone Designer Pro. I first downloaded the free version to get a feel for this app. It was easy to use and the instructional video it provided was very straight forward. Blackout Labs does a good job giving a taste of what their full app offers, 2 ringtones, 15 seconds each. I got the hang of it then wanted more and downloaded the full version. This time I was not limited by the amount of ringtones I could make but the ringtone length went to a max of only 30 seconds. However that is understandable because 30 seconds is the average length of time it takes to connect to voicemail. Besides, the dozens of ringtone loops I created in 30 minutes averaged 20 seconds each, anyway. What I would like to see is the wavelength preview like the free version. The dial is a nice touch but a view of the wavelength with a zoom will help pinpoint the trim marks faster. I had to preview the ringtones many times to get it right and each time I had to go to the start or finish dials and select, for example 0.27.09 to 0.27.0 rather than just fine tuning on a zoomed-in precise slider. Another suggestion is a powerful desktop version of this app to do more advanced editing, simpler exporting and even sharing from our computers. I believe this is a great app for anyone who cannot find their favourite songs as ringtones and for those who feel their favourite songs as ringtones could have been arranged better. Anyone who says this app is a waste of money can find a dollar lying around if they look hard and long enough.

No help. The app use to work, but doesn't anymore. It creates the file but the file won't transfer to the phone. The video doesn't match what I have. I've tried to get help and never got a response.

Cannot find where ringtone was saved.. Supposed to be a video showing how to find file, however video wound not open and play. Tried several times with same results.

App Crashes. App crashes every time I select a song. Song was redownloaded - app was deleted and redownloaded and still does not work.

DO NOT PURCHASE. I updated mine for the extra 10 seconds. I made 4 ringtones and I cannot “save to...” I get the message “could not be copied because an error occurred. The required disk cannot be found” I went and made another ringtone and another and same error message 🤬😡🤯

Doesn’t Work. I am furious I paid money for this app. I created all kinds of ringtones a month back. I followed their instructions to the letter but the ringtones would not sync to my phone. I emailed the developer, which I now see was a waste of time. Save your money and find some other app.

FABULOUS. I LOVE THIS APP!!! I was a little confused about getting it synced up with my settings but I figured it out with the video!!!

Link to upload video is broken. Can’t upload because I can’t see the video tutorial. I tried 3 times. So I have a lovely new ringtone suspended somewhere and unusable. I paid to upgrade!

Keeps crashing. I click on the song I want to start creating a ringtone. Every time I do this it crashes, when I click on the “play” button no sound is generated 🤷🏼‍♂️

Broken. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! This app doesn’t work. I have made several attempts since PAYING for this app. It never works and all it does is close whenever I click on a song. I have tried many many times and even uninstalled and redowloaded it. Nothing has worked. Save yourself a dollar.

Doesn’t work. This app will not run on my iPhone X running iOS 11.2. I am able to load songs, but pressing the play button does nothing, and pressing the “use selection as ringtone” button brings up an error message.

Need search bar. 5 stars would mean it has a search bar. But it is still Pretty great!

App won’t run on iOS 14.5.1. Don’t waste your money. Unless the dev updates the app to run on latest iOS, you’re better off burning the money. At least that way you’ll be a bit warmer, even if only for a brief moment.

Requires iTunes to work.. The instructions for getting the newly created sound bite requires you to use iTunes. iTunes does not exist any longer on the latest MAC OS. Where is the new version of this app or different instructions for the newer OS? How do you sell a app that does not function?

Disappointed App keep closing. Every time I click on a song it goes back to the home screen. Can this fixed?

Useless... This app is useless if you want to add files outside the iTunes music library. If you download a music file from another app it's saved under”files” this app cant see those files and import them. If you want to cancel the operation you cant even go back. Waste of a $.

It said 1 minute!. It advertised upgrade to paid version and make ringtone up to one minute but only let's you do 40 seconds

Not functioning properly anymore. All the right one I create with this app; will not transfer to the phone any longer. There is no support; not a single response to the only email address to contact the makers.

What happened?. What happened? Why is the length short now? I bought the Unlimited version & you can make the ringtone as long as you want, now it’s so short.

I don’t even want to give 1 star. A dollar or not, an app you pay for shouldn’t crash. As soon as you select a song, it crashes every time. I’ve deleted, redownloaded, restarted and it’s all the same: it crashes in the same place every single time.

App just stopped working. I would have rated this a 5 the app just closes once I choose a song that I want to edit. After the update on the iPhone X, i was able to creat 2 or 3 ringtones but no it just shuts down. Anything I need to do to fix this? I already tried re-installing the app.

Waste of .99!. Tip... read most recent reviews first rather than the auto sorted. Usually I do and I have no clue what I was thinking with this. It doesn’t crash on me but only one or two songs will actually play with it, and not the ones I want to use.

Attempting to add songs crashes the app. Whenever I attempt to load a song that is on the latter half of the alphabet the application will crash on me 100% of the time.

Don’t use with Apple Music. Unless you buy all your music or illegally download it all, don’t purchase this app. Sadly, it doesn’t even say that this does not work with Apple Music, Apple’s premium music service. It works otherwise great.

How about without a computer?. I want to be able to make and use this app w/o connecting to my laptop.

Just wasted my money. Bought this app thinking it’d be different but it’s not. I basically just gave this person my money. The tones do NOT transfer back into iTunes sync section. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. Do not buy this app. Your money will get stolen.

iTunes File Sharing??. First off, your instructions go to a non-existent page and are you telling me I have to connect my iPhone to a computer and launch iTunes to get my ringtone. Very inefficient!!
