Ms. Voice Prompt way too verbose. I would have given this app 5 stars if it weren't for the very verbose Ms. Voice Prompt. I don't mind some of it but I don't feel like I need to have a conversation with her every morning, or every time there's a segment change in the interval training. And she really doesn't need to tell me to set my incline to zero when I've selected the Speed preference. The workout itself is really good but I'd really like the option to Mute her!

Was a great app.... Don’t know what happened. Can’t log on with existing account and can’t create a new account. And you can’t use the app without an account. So disappointing.

Hate running, love this app. I got this app because I wanted something to help motivate me on the treadmill for winter. This app is so much better than I even thought it was going to be. It accesses my music and switches up the beats to the pace of the run or walk. I use the beginner walking, "Mix it up" option, and it's great. It adds incline and switches up the pace frequently and I find it challenging and even kind of fun. The only things I would add to make it even better would be: a complication for the Apple Watch (the watch controls themselves are very helpful), Apple Watch heartbeat recognition, and a different way to control the intensity on the iPhone. I prefer the "+ -" control on the watch to dragging the sliders on the phone. It's a little tougher to do while moving! Overall, this is really worth the price, I'm very happy.

Great Treadmill App. I've had this app for a week and really enjoy it. Wife has had it longer and told me about it. I got it 1/2 off prices. I've been a long time runner and use a treadmill in the winter and rainy days in the summer at home. This app makes the workout go fast and it's fun and challenging to per your selection. And since the patch the app no longer double populates ihealth with 2 of the same workout data strings. I was just deleting the dupe. Nice fix for that by the developers. Woulda given a 5 star but have not tried the app outside yet. Hope it works as good. I also have LOLO Jeff Galloway 5K and it's good too. At this time this is my go to treadmill app. I am using the advanced workout level for 60 mins workouts. Only complaint is that with warm ups and cool down segments a 60 min workout times at 1hr 15 mins. To me the "overall" time should represent the workout chose. So 60 min workout is 60 mins total with warmup/cool down. Great app - THANKS!

No Apple Watch App. This company has YET to update their app to function with the Apple Watch. Lame!

I love it. This is great app for beginner like me. I really like all the features and fact u not going to have to buy a subscription. Big bonus cuz I like to own apps not keep pay the money. The beat technology is good and I like how it speed up and slow down music. Some songs it don’t work good on but most it do. 🙂 The app does lack lot of features which why I think it more a lite version of more high performance apps but it do have health app sync so u can keep track workouts. I also like how u can turn down the speed for a few if u need to slow down. So if u want a good app for treadmill, this is good price and not subscription.

Great app. I’ve tried a few treadmill apps and whilst there are some good alternatives to this one out there I like that I don’t have to pay for a subscription, it’s all included in this app. I’m getting a great workout with bey clear instructions. Love it!! Can’t wait for forthcoming updates.

Amazing app but music doesn’t sync:((((. This app would be absolute perfection however it has a hard time syncing your Apple Music...some songs can be synced but many others can not. The app has its own music however nothing very current and up to date:(

Needs some work, but overall still the one I use the most.. So I don't really have a problem with the coaching throughout the workout. I'm sure she is talking as much as some of the others say here, but either I'm tuning her out more or I'm just dealing with it. What I don't understand is the "workout time" displayed. My workout shows 30 minutes remaining. I set the treadmill to 35 minutes and my treadmill still runs out of time before my workout is done. How is that possible? The workout counts warm-up and cool-down in the time from what I can see, so this timer must be way off...or I'm completely missing something. I also wish it had more incline moves in the running workout. In contacting support I was told there were concerns about too much adjusting the workout during the workout. Well, I think I can handle pushing 2 buttons on my treadmill instead of just the one for speed so I'd like to see that implemented also for more variety.

Love the app! Watch needs more. I love working out with this app! Being able to upload your own music is great! I wish the Apple Watch could be switched between seeing the current screen (progress through each section) to a screen showing progress on the workout as a whole.

Need Apple Watch connection. Love this app but no 5 stars because doesn’t connect to apple watch. I don’t want to take my phone with me when I run.

Love it!. I actually have a love/hate relationship with this app. I hate the treadmill but this app is fantastic. The hour flies and I feel like a warrior princess when I’m done. Sooooo worth the couple dollars! Do it!! You won’t regret it!!

Great APP! But no updates?. Love this app it’s easy to use and motivational. Unfortunately doesn’t look like they are coming out with anymore updates. Bummer! :/

Terrible App. I can’t play my own music on iTunes without the coach audio in the foreground...Sometimes it won’t start at all...I want my money back!!!!

Love this app!!!. This program is amazing! It works flawlessly and without any problems. It is easy to use, easy to adjust to your personal level and really helps keep you motivated. I highly recommended this for anyone that uses a treadmill. Even the incline and speed on the app screen match the treadmills speed and incline screen locations which makes it easier to make sure I have the right settings when I can't hear it tell me to change. And after saying that, here is my one request. It would be nice to see a, not to small, count down timer for each interval for those times I can not hear the voice tell me to change. I know they use a bar graph that the color fills up put it does not show up well enough for me to know that the interval is almost finished especially when watching something that has too much of my attention and is too loud. I highly recommend this app. If I could I would give it more than 5 stars!

12% incline for a cool-down?!. Just downloaded this app to give me something to do on a treadmill while traveling when I cannot get to an Orange Theory Fitness class. I set it for 45 minutes intermediate level walk workout. The cool-down was five minutes of waking at a 12% incline! My heart rate was higher during the cool-down than at any point during the rest of the workout! I’ll continue to use the app, but I’ll customize the incline for the cool-down.

Forces you to register to their website. Loved using this app but forces you to use Lolo connect, with no way of canceling. I'll pass.

App Crashes. I enjoyed using this app for several years but it now crashes when you login. Deleted and reinstalled several times with same result. It seems the problem surfaced with one of the upgrades to Apple’s iOS.

Dead?. Is this company dead? No updates in six years? In case someone is listening: I have a few of your apps and LOVE them. I have been using them for Years. One thing I noticed is that the design never changed and is actually quite annoying. In the middle of my work out, if a song comes on that is just not right for the current level, I have to pick my phone up, got to music, hit next, then close out of that. So, I offer 3 suggestions, in order of importance: 1) add a “Next” button to the main screen. At least in horizontal mode. There is a giant unused space right at the bottom of the screen. 2) Add a way to remove a song from the playlist without going through the settings. An example would be while I am working out, I don’t like a song (added for some reason), I can click into the audio part and click a button that says “remove”, or “ignore current song in the future”. 3) add a way to favorite songs. So that way they get played just a little bit more than the rest.

New features almost great. Ever since I started using the older version this app, the one thing I really wanted was the ability to automatically select songs from my library that matched up with the speed of the workout. The main new feature does that, to an extent, and sometimes it works great, while others, not so great. First you have to create your playlist, which involves selecting songs and having them analyzed for BPM. Once in a while, a song can't be analyzed for some reason, and I've actually noticed that scanning the same song twice can result in sometimes vastly different BPM results, but overall it seems to work reasonably well. The one problem I have all the time now is that if I select too many songs to be analyzed, after a certain number of songs, all of the following songs will not have a BPM reported. I'd like to select all of my songs and have them accurately read, and for the few that can't actually be read for some reason, I shouldn't have to go back through and delete them all manually from the playlist. There should at least be an 'edit-delete' option not unlike batch deletion of emails, where I can just check a bunch of files and delete them. I'd also like the ability to have the BPM read from the ID3 tags of my mp3 files, as there are plenty of free options on Mac and PC that seem to do a better job of determining BPM. Overall though, great app, and the new features are almost exactly what I was hoping for.

I don’t want the countdowns. I wish there were a way to mute the coach entirely, not just the pep talks but the time checks, too. On a treadmill I can see the program and adjust my speed/incline from that. No cues needed or wanted. I just want the progressive workout programs.

I want my music. I LOVE this ap. Love the challenge and the interval training. But it will not accept all my music. The ap music is horrible techno crap. And when a song won’t pair you get the stupid “ruh-ro “ pop up. Do something so I can choose my music...ALL my music. Not just a select few songs

Great app but no mute button? Why?. I love this app - it not only does an excellent job of telling you exactly what to do, but allows you to make adjustments and customizations so the user can work outexactly according to their capability and what they want to do that day. However - there's one problem. No mute button - at least, I haven't found one yet. I enjoy listening to podcasts or audiobooks while I'm working out, and this app has made it impossible to do so, not without using two devices. Normally, while using downloaded music, or a service like Pandora, the app turns the volume down to tell you what to do next. This is absolutely fine for music. But with spoken dialogue, every word matters, and I miss info every 30 seconds when the app chimes in. All I want to do is be able to mute the app entirely and look at the app display to track where I'm supposed to be visually. I've looked everywhere, turned off Coaching Audio, and turned the Music slider all the way down, but there doesn't seem to be an option for this. PLEASE consider adding this feature in. The app is perfect otherwise.

It keeps closing. This app always closes when I try to change the settings. I deleted it and downloaded it again and when I try to log in, it keeps closing. What a piece of crap

It's great but.... I wish it have more options for length of workouts. Instead of just 15, 30, 45.... it needs to have 20, 25, 35, 50. Please, please add them.

Looking for an update. I have used this app everyday for a long time and it is a wonderful app. With that said, I would love if they updated it. Fresh paint, a bar that shows the time remaining in each segmented speed and an easier way to move between levels would be great.

Motivational Lady Needs to be Turned Off!. Love the app for running! It's been a great tool to challenge my workouts when I get stuck in a rut, but the motivational lady needs to be turned off. Just when you start getting into the zone she pipes up to tell you you're doing a great job and how to place your feet on the treadmill or keeps counting the time down every 15 seconds which makes it feel even longer. All I want is her to tell me when to change the incline and speed. I also don't need the 2 minute pep talk in the beginning. I literally have to start the app in the locker room so that by the time I get on the treadmill she will have shut up by then. Would have given this 5 starts if it wasn't for the super annoying voice over.

It didn't work at all as advertised. Downloaded to an iPhone 4. Put iPod music on it. The message "unable to analyze more than 50 songs at a time" is a pain, but I understand. That slows down the setup process. Then there is a 60-minute limit for your workout program. I, for one, don't want to have to reach into my pocket, or whatever, an hour into a good workout to tell the thing to start again. And it forces you into a two or three-minute (can't remember which) "warmup period". I don't WANT a warmup period. I want to get right to it. So, I emailed customer support. Here's the reply: "I think the easiest solution to both problems is to just jump around in the workout". This means pushing certain buttons to get where one wants. I don't WANT to push buttons or "jump around" I just want the thing to set the BPM and go about my workout. So, makes me wonder where all of those positive reviews come from. It doesn't work unless you're willing to put in extra work. Personally, I think an app should just work without a lot of extra "punching".

Overall great app!. I like the integration with the Apple Health app. Making tracking of calories burned much easier to stay on track. My only complaint is that when concentrating on work out I often miss the voice instructions for treadmill settings. You can refer to the app to see the current readings, but the font size is small and grayed out making them hard to see. I would rather see the intensity bars grayed out and the incline and speed information with larger font with a bolder color so it is easier to see.

Love it!. I simply love this app. Been looking for an app that allows me to customize my running/walking workouts to tailor my preferences and honestly this is the only one that offers everything I was looking for and more. You can set your level to beginner, intermediate, or advanced, choose how long you want to workout for and whether you want to workout outdoors or indoors in the treadmill. Very clear instructions and very motivating. Features an interval training kind of workout, making you switch your pace every few minutes so you don’t get bored while maximizing your activity. The golden feature of this app is that every time it makes you switch pace it adjusts the beat of the music to match the pace so you only have to follow the rhythm. The only drawback I see is that it only integrates with the Apple music app so if you use a different streaming service you will need to keep the app open as it will not run in the background. I think this is likely a limitation imposed by Apple to force the users to use their service but this is just my guess based on what we know about Apple and their policies. Other than that an awesome app that’s one of it’s kind!

Enjoying this app. I am in my 50s and trying to get back into regular exercising and I love this app for the treadmill!!! I use it daily. You select the workout length and type; walking, run/walk, or running. There are a couple of other adjustments to change the degree of difficulty and add variety. The app then takes you through a treadmill workout varying speed and incline. It also can be set to provide some audio coaching tips as you use it to remind you to use proper form, which I think are very useful. Beat sync feature makes it more fun cause you can listen to your songs while working out. Heck I even turn off the tv now when I am on the treadmill.

Made a great first impression!. I just bought lolo Burn today and used it for the first time. I was amazed by its effectiveness! I decided to try a walk/jog on the "beginner" setting, and it turned out to be a great workout. I was challenged, but not overly so. When it was over, I was moderately tired, but also very refreshed. I only encountered a couple things that I wasn't too pleased with. The biggest issue was that the app crashed at one point near the end of the workout, but I was able to resume it close to the appropriate place. Also, the variety of comments from the trainer was limited. But those were minor details and didn't really matter in the long run. If you are considering buying this application, I would reccomend that you do it! It's definitely VERY customizable and can be adjusted to your own personal needs. It keeps you motivated and interested. Best of all, YOU decide the level of intensity based on what your body needs. Definitely give it a try! (FYI - all of this is coming from a 16-year-old female. I'm one of the laziest people I know. But this app really impressed me and kept my attention. Hopefully that will give you an idea of how great it is!!)

Just What I was Looking For. Listening to music while running on the treadmill is a must for me. But it can be frustrating when the tempo is too fast or slow, because I subconsciously try to match it. This app solved that problem for me. I also appreciate the gentle coaching along the way. My only complaint was that at some point along the way, the coach said I had come to the end of my program. I didn’t realize there was an end and I was confused about what to do next. Unfortunately, I gave up for awhile and didn’t exercise at all. A few nights ago I decided to get back to work, so I started all over again. I was quickly reminded of how much I love this app. I even decided to gift if to my daughter so she could see how well it works to motivate you during your workout. This time I’ll try harder to figure out what to do if it tells me my program has ended.

Top walking speeds too fast. I have short legs so some of the walking speeds are too fast for me and I am almost running. There needs to be a setting so that there is the ability to limit walking speeds. When I tried to adjust it during the workout i can see the graph at its highest point but I don’t know what the speed is until it starts. It’s annoying to have to adjust my speed in the middle of the short interval. I know I can just do this on the treadmill but I like the workout to be consistent with the actual treadmill speed.

WOW! Lolo Burn has kickstarted my gym routine back into action!. I LOVE this app! I downloaded this a few months ago and am so pleased with the results! My husband and I have been going to the gym for about 4 years or so, and to be honest, lately it's gotten a little boring to me. I was determined to get back into the swing of the gym again, and that's right when I found this amazing app. I am not a jogger, but have been trying to push myself in this last year to increase my endurance, and be able to jog for longer sprints of time. This app has completely pushed me to do so much! I started on Walk/Jog Intermediate.... and it was so hard, but I was determined not to decrease the level, because I knew I could do it! I'm telling you - I leave the gym after a LOLO workout drenched in sweat and feeling so good about myself! I can't wait until I am ready to bump up to walk/jog advanced!! Then to Jog beginner, etc.!!! I have so far to go, but feel so good about my progress already! Thank you LOLO Burn!!!!

Doesn’t start. I’ve used this app on and off for years. For whatever reason, it no longer wants to start the workout. Very annoying.

No Apple Watch Compatibility. I really like this App but was disappointed to find that it was not capable to work with the Apple Watch.

Love - hate …. I love this app but it has some key problems that haven't been fixed since its creation first there's no way to easily move the intensity level while you're in a workout. The sliders are inefficient and have no fine control especially while you're running or walking on a treadmill. Apple watch is great but no heart rate and it's so off on timing it's almost impossible to use. I'm sure there's more I'm missing but it's late.

Apple Music integration. Have a question: if we are monthly subscribers of APPLE MUSIC, we can’t use the tracks we download to our phone in Lolo? I keep getting an error message about that.

Took me from walking to running. I purchased this app over a year ago, based on the reviews here, and cannot praise it enough. I bought it to start power-walking and use on the elliptical -- and it's fantastic for both. Yet, I never thought it would make my legs and lungs strong enough to help me become a runner. (Especially at my age -- I'm in my 50s!) Yet, that's what happened. The gradual accelleration of challenge and speed, fully adjustable by you, is extremely effective. The coaching is just right. I do hate their synthesized music, but big deal: You can block it and limit it to play the music that motivates you, which for me was also a game-changer. I do not use it all the time anymore, but I definitely still use it for running at least once a week, and always use it when I'm inside the (boring!) gym, because it continues to up my game. Seems like a cliche, but this app really changed my life.

Can wait to go running again. I accidentally bought Beatburn thinking it would just let me set a fixed BPM for all my songs and then realizing my mistake bought Tempo Magic Pro, which does just that. To date i've used Tempo Magic Pro maybe once or twice but consistently use Beatburn three times a week and look forward to each session. Before I'd always get bored or distracted whether running outdoors or on treadmill, but Beatburn pushes me harder than I would on my own and I never know where the time's gone when the session is over. I had a bit of a rough start with it, since it's auto-detection of beats was consistently off by 2-3 BPMs and it wouldn't pick up my BPM settings from itunes, creating odd pace changes between songs, but now that i've got it dialed in, it's perfect. My only problem now is that I can't find any Trance i like that's 150bpm +, causing Beatburn having to use its built in songs for some of the faster intervals.

Length of workout. I love this app, it keeps me focused while using the treadmill and helped me get into better cardio shape. I just wish there was a 20 minute option. 15 minutes feels like I just got warmed up, but for me 30 minutes is too long. Many times I will start the 30 minute one and stop using after 20, and just let the set run out as I train and stretch.

Still the Best $4 I ever spent!. I have been using beatburn both outdoors and on the treadmill for the last month. I have been trying to lose weight and cardio is sooooooooo boring for me! This app is the best! I actually look forward to my workout every day. My goal was to walk 4 or 5 times a week, but I'm enjoying the app so much I find that I'm walking every day! The trainer voice is very encouraging and it seems like she always has something new to say to keep me going. The app calculates the BPM of your own music. You pick the tunes and it creates the workout! I've been using the interval setting and it never gets boring. Beatburn, along with 7 weeks of healthy eating, has helped me lose 24 pounds so far. This is the best $4 I've ever spent!! Just an update...I love the update for this app! It has even more encouragement from the trainer and runs even better than before. At first I thought that the calories burned were recalculated, but then I realized that I am burning fewer calories per workout because I have already lost 35 POUNDS!!! I look forward to my cardio every day, both on the treadmill and outdoors...thanks for a SUPER APP!!!!

Fantastic App. Just what I needed ! I had got bored and plateaued with trying to regulate my own workouts. First use of this app it completely reinvigorated my workout, I felt motivated and refreshed in my workout and gave me a harder and better workout. Highly recommended.

Love the app but. The app is great for running on the treadmill - but i wish there was an option the read out the speeds in kms and not just miles.

Incredible. Just did my first workout with this app and it was great! Loved how the music changed to match the pace, that kms could be shown instead of converting from miles, and that intensity can be changed mid workout. Highly recommend if you want to change up your cardio, if you aren't really following an intelligent cardio plan, or if you have an unused treadmill because it's now boring. The app doesn't seem to store easily retrievable workout history so you may need to store elsewhere if of interest.

Incredible!. I couldn't speak highly enough of this app. It gives you a balanced workout while coaching you on ways to improve your technique, adjusts the BPM of your music to match your walking speed, and keeps a detailed record of everything you do. Highly motivational and worth every cent!

Great App. I downloaded this app a few weeks ago but have only just had time to use it recently. All I can say is "I LOVE IT". Does exactly what it says and the chick on it is really motivating. I used to get pretty bored on the treadmill but now it's exciting. The only criticism I have is that the spoken instructions during training are in mph (miles per hour) but I live in Australia and we are in kph (kilometres per hour), but in does have kph written on the screen so I just wake-up the phone when I have 5 seconds to go on each section to see what the conversion is. I will be purchasing the other app for Elliptical training as well. Thanks

Ups my intensity without me realizing. What a great app. I am a lazy exerciser who constantly says 'too hard' 'I can't' to myself when I try to push myself. The match of music to pace makes me want to move faster and the quick changes to pace/incline intervals helps me push without giving me a chance to get bored. Highly recommended. If the developers are reading: would love an update with more combinations so I don't need to start over at the basic intensity.

Best app ever invented!. This is absolutely fantastic. My own personal trainer for $1.99. Keeps me motivated and pushes me whilst informing and encouraging me. The only improvement I'd like to see is being able to log two workouts per day.

MASTERS.. The team that are creating this group of apps are the MASTERS. What I would like to know is WHY they can be so professional about creating apps that people are PAYING for when some (bordering most) care right up to the moment you pay? Apples stream of iOS updates shows this clearly. App works, Apple updates then you have a group of apps that now longer work. A lot of the apps I buy are expensive, which is fine if the team is continuing to work on the app, you know developing!!! Sure Apples app store IS getting bigger but it's not quality just quantity. The makers of these apps are in a Class that only a few ever aspire too. A pleasure to use.

Dreadful music. The one star is for the idea. The "motivating" music is a horrible semi techno music. Had I been able to listen to the music I would not have spent even $1 on it let alone $5. Not impressed.

It works!. I seriously love this app. I NEED music to workout, so I don't spend my time thinking, "I hate this, it hurts, meh I'll workout tomorrow" But I am living this app!! It's different everyday, the coaching isn't irritating, I listen to my own music and it makes me want to jump on my tready. Totally worth the $1.99!

Neat app!. Really great app, easy to use - love how you can add your own songs and it does the bpm calculations then adds these to the workout! The app has frozen on me once, mid workout, since I updated to the newer version . What I would like to see is the ability to change the trainers voice from female to male.

Has potential to be great...but.... What could be a great app is hampered by several things. Firstly, it lacks the ability for the user to turn off all voice prompts. The voice that comes in each and every minute to tell you how long you have left is really disruptive and makes it nearly impossible to enjoy the workout. The voice also gives speed cues in mph even when set to kph. Controls are really quite clunky and hard to use when 'on the run'. With a few changes this app would be getting five stars from me but in it's current state two stars is the best I can offer - a shame considering how expensive it is.

Beginners Walking often too fast for beginners. In general, this app is quite good for walking on a treadmill. However, some of the ‘sprints’ are way too fast - 7.2 kph is almost impossible for all except experienced walkers to do without breaking into a jog. I walk because injuries now prevent me from running, so jogging isn’t an option. Sure, I could ignore those sprints and walk at my own pace, or set the app to Steady State, or stop and start again in the hope that the next workout is more suitable. However, given I bought this app to get varied and interesting walking workouts, those options really don’t do it for me.

This app is great. I love this app and have told all of my running friends about it. I like that I'm running to my own music, and that the app adjusts the tempo of the music to match the pace it's telling me to keep. One thing I wish is that I could preview/adjust the workout before I start the program for the day so that I could make adjustments in advance, rather than on the go (i.e./ for me, 4mph is an awkward speed, too fast to walk, too slow to jog, so I'd like to avoid it.) It would also be handy if the graph showed duration and max speed of each interval. This app is keeping me on the treadmill without quitting early. Love it!

Love it!. This is a really cool app! I've used it for three workouts and can't believe how much fun I'm having working out. Seriously! I just get on the treadmill and the beat hypnotizes me. Only suggestion, make one for the elliptical because I can't run on the treadmill everyday.

Great app. Kills battery.. I've been using this app for well over a year. It has helped with improving my running speed, distance and general aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. Lately however it eats through my battery. My phone heats up and I lose about 25-40% battery life over the span of a 30 minute workout. I know it is this app causing it because I don't run any other apps at the same time. Please fix this issue.

alright.. good concept ...but how on a treadmill can you reset your speed, incline , and time in 5 sec .. you go for 3 min then 2 min then 1 min all at different settings it needs more time between instructions .

Great workout app. This is the app I was looking for to run, specially after ver. 2 with adding my own music to the mix. There are only a few things developers can consider to make it perfect: * With fitness level set to Meduim, I sometimes feel that workouts is not consistent one after the other. Sometimes it's too easy, sometimes too hard, so I need to usually adjust to my levels. * I wish other elliptical app was an in app purchase so that I could track calories and results all in one app and one place.

Love This App - Time Flies. Great app with really cool music. 30 mins just flies by. Hard not to start jumping up and down and dancing to the music, but I guess that would be a tad dangerous on the treadmill.

Really Nice!. I like this a lot, but l would "love" it if there was an elliptical option, tread climber and spinning option etc. Also, a detailed history option would be beneficial to be able to track your progress over time. Being able to save your own music in times when you want to use it would be helpful so that you don't have to do it each and every time. Having the option to finish the workout early would be nice as well. Terrific app!:-)

Perfect for Rebounding, Running, Spinning.... The vocal cues for intervals are really motivating. Music included is suitable, tempo changes really help. I've used it with the wind trainer, the mini trampoline and while jogging. For those who want apps specifically for each sport, try this. It works great, had it for years on iPod, now on iPad. And no, I don't work for the developer! I have an old version, and love it.

Works well but limited. The features the app has look great and work well but it seems quite a few are missing. for example i started it up to see how it worked without actually being out running and there doesn't seem to be a way to purge the 18 calories i supposedly burned from my history or reset the app. Also there are no detailed records of your progress, just an all time cal listing Also the music thing allows you to pulll in songs from your ipod app but doesn't let you muck with the order or anything, it also doesn't remeber what songs you added in last time you used the app so each time you launch the thing you have to re-setup your music. Also the only optionnsyou have are walk, jog/walk, and running. Would love to see more cardio activites like biking, eliptical, rollerblading, rowing, jumping rope etc Overall the delivery of the app is very good and the interface is gorgeous, ad in just a few more features and this app becomes a 4 or 5

Great app idea - needs tweaking. This is a great app but would be even better with a few additions. As others have mentioned, it needs the ability to end the workout early. I would also like to have the workout time intervals displayed rather than just the trainer "saying" them (ex. Do this level for 2 min.) When I use my own music she cuts out a lot, plus I'm getting bored of her saying the same things over & over. Having it display would provide the option of not listening and instead just watching the screen. Right now it displays speed & incline but not time for each level.

Not Bad!. Pretty good so far, looking forward to updates. The music to help you keep a pace is a great feature. I would love it if the music had a smooth transition. Having a history or reports on your runs would be great. It would be nice to see some sort of chart on your improvement.

Needs more. Seriously? Eliptical and running are 2 separate apps? They pretty much do the same thing. The description is a bit misleading... They make you believe that the ipod adjusts automatically to your pace, this is not true. I am somewhat baffled why the accelerometer was not used. Still the app has merit. There does not seem to be a way to reset your stats either.

Love this app!. This app is excellent! It is exactly what I was expecting and it works awesome. I love running or walking on the treadmill with this app. it is motivating and it's great being able to add my songs and it will play them and adjust the beats per minute to match the speed I'm going. I love how it keeps a track of all your averages per workout or over all like speed time incline etc. This app is well worth the money. Wonderful.. This is the greatest app I've ever downloaded. Before using this app, I would always be tired of running after only three minutes on the treadmill but now I stay on two hours or more. The way the app changes the beat of my music and the voice of the coach really motivate me to work harder and strive to burn the amount of calories I want and it really makes each and every workout fly by. I used to absolutely HATE exercising but this app has showed me that it can be a great deal of fun. I've lost ten pounds in the past month and a half so this app is definitely worth it.

BeatBurn Treadmill. I have had my treadmill for 3 years, and have never really enjoyed walking on it, until now. This is the best app and workout. I am only doing the beginner for 15 minutes, but you can really feel like you did something. The music is very good, and the trainers voice is very pleasant. I can't wait to see how long it takes me to get up to 30 minute workouts, but will probably always stay at beginner because I can't seem to go very fast, being in my 60's. I am so glad I purchased this.

My new favorite app. So I just finished a workout with Beat Burn and it rocked. I'm so impressed. I usually do 30 minutes on the treadmill, so I picked 30 minutes and began at an intermediate pace. Next thing I know, the workout is over -- it just flew by. I went back to the middle of the workout to do 15 more minutes. My exercise routine was getting a little monotonous and I think this will really liven things up. Unlike some other reviewers, the calories were pretty close to what my treadmill said. I also had no problem keeping up, so I increased the intensity using the graph and it instantly made everything more challenging. Would be cool if they made this work with cycling machines.

Fantastic App. Let me start off by saying I never write reviews. However this app is well deserving. The interface is very sleek and easy to use. The personal trainer is helpful without being too intrusive. Music, well it's your own!! I've used this app for about 2 weeks and the work outs fly by. Before I would dread another treadmill work out, not anymore!! It's so much fun and really gets your heart rate up. I'm drenched in sweat every time. Each day it's a new routine and I'm never bored. I highly highly recommend this app, buy it with confidence.

Makes Me Love Working Out!. Love this app! Time flies and I am able to walk/jog speeds I couldn't do on my own just based on the music, BPM rhythm and encouragement from the Lolo coach! There are a couple things I would like to see tho....calories burned appear to be inflated. It would be helpful if that information was more accurate. Also, would really like if I could "preview" the actual workout so I can see what my intervals would be like for the day. Other than that, it's perfect for me. :-). Thanks!

Walking, Running all to my own beat. To the reviewer who couldn't access their own music, I only ever use my own songs. I even disabled the option for BeatBurn to optionally use their tracks in case I don't have a song at the right tempo. I've used all of the BeatBurn apps and love them all. The flexibility you have in selecting the length, music source and difficulty level make each of these apps well worth the purchase price!! I agree, not enough stars available to rank this!!

Great app. I really like this app a lot! And the update is fantastic!I love the voice of the coach... Very friendly, pleasant and encouraging. Please add the ability to pick how long a workout you'd like instead of having to close between 15 and 30 minutes...etc. Also the ability to shuffle your playlist as well as maybe a quiet metronome background beat when playing your own music would be helpful to make sure you are keeping the correct speed. Fun way to shave calories. I've been using this since the first version. I just updated to 2.0 and I added my own music to my last workout. Wow, it's even better now!! The built in music was starting to get a little repetitive, but I like to have the beat match my speed, now I get it with my own music. Some music works better than others, stuff with a beat (that you would dance to) seems to work best. Only improvement I would make would be to add a larger timer. But it's still deserves five stars. Keep the updates coming, please :) :)

wish I could change the speed easier.... I like the concept of this app. I've used it 4 times now and at first I had a little more patience with trying to adjust my speed but the last time I gave up and stopped using it during my run. It would be nice to have easier way to change the speed. Trying to move that little bar a little bit while you're running is very difficult....maybe when you touch the bar have some arrows pop up for the speed so you can increase or decrease easier.

Finally the treadmill is tolerable. I'm going to let you in on a little secret, I hate working out, and I hate my treadmill. Thank God for Beat Burn. It's actually taken the dread out of my daily workout. time just flies by and I'm finally seeing some results. I'm down 11 pounds in two weeks because I can finally stick with it. I wish I had this earlier, but at least it's helping me make it through the holidays. Thanks Beat Burn. Update: I made it through the holidays and actually lost an extra pound. Thanks again Beat Burn. I feel like I'm going to start off the New Year strong.

Good app, keeps you moving. I've used many pieces of software, on and off of the iPhone/iPod, and this one is really good for beginners. As that's about where I am, I can't speak for seasoned runners. The music is good and the beats help you to stay in step with the pace. My only issue is one of function. The Play/Pause button on my Apple earbuds don't pause the workout, I still have to pull it out and hit the pause button on the screen. Also, it needs to take control of the Play/Pause as my iTunes library started playing along with the lolo music, I didn't realize it was my music until we had a fast jog and "Red Light" was playing. The song was just too slow for the pace and that's when I realized the problem. Still, a good deal for $2.99!

Gonna make you sweat!. Love this app! Completely challenging and makes my workout time seem to fly by. Works great with Nike+ in the background. Would love to see updates with more music and workouts (I'd even do in-App purchase, which I never do). Please move the "Remaining Time" section or make it bigger - absolutely impossible to read while running. I'd love to change the Speed or Calories to have an alternate view of Time Remaining for current step of the interval and time remaining for the workout. Overall excellent product! Please keep up the great work!

Nothing Like It - Makes Working Out Actually Enjoyable. I cannot say enough great things about lolo Burn. I just finished my 5th workout....and at 5 a.m., I actually looked forward to my treadmill work because of this great app. With lolo Burn you are able to use your own music or the music provided by lolo. The instructor has a pleasant voice, and gives encouragement throughout the workout. You have complete control to customize your workout to make it more or less challenging as you go. My only suggestion is that occasionally during a 30 second interval the instructor asks for you to change the incline or speed, and by the time my treadmill reaches that level, the interval is half over. My overall review is that I cannot recomend this app enough - try it, you'll love it.

Keep Up The Good Work!. Loving this update! I love the coaching! I usually do 30 minutes but felt like I could do 45, which I did. I'm really happy with the coach reminding me about my posture and the encouragement is awesome. I too would love to see where I could choose how long my workout would be. I'm happy with the pre-sets, don't get me wrong, but on days I do weight lifting I'd love to be able to do 20 - 25 minutes of cardio after. I can't say enough good things about the creators either, they answer my emails quickly and always have something nice to say. This is definitely worth the $3.99! I can't wait until their stationary bike app is ready!! (Hint Hint guys!) ;-)

Making an exerciser out of me..... I got the app a year ago and used it religiously for months, until I had an injury and couldn't run. I am back at it again, and this app is the thing that gives me the motivation to get off the couch and get on the treadmill. I am not the type that likes to exercise...at all. But this app gets me going. The ability to adjust the workouts from beginner to intermediate to advanced, from walking, walk-jog, running, and the length of the workout lets me know it will always be challenging. Support for the app is amazing too - I had a question and got it an email in 4 min! (ps...always have to start a workout in portrait orientation, can't have it turned landscape when launching. ha) They didn't give me any time to lose my motivation to workout. Great app...you won't be disappointed.

Superb app!. I am absolutely in love with this app! I rarely write reviews for apps but I like this one enough I think more people should know about it. It's really gotten me motivated to start working out again. I love all the customization and the voice coach is really good unlike many others where the voice is super obnoxious. I'd recommend it for anyone rather you are starting out for the first time or just looking to strengthen your running more.

Good program, minor bugs. I have been using this program for approximately a month now. I have gone from barely being able to do a mile to about 4 miles and at three times the pace. Plus the pounds are dropping. Just some minor issues when I had the program set on my personal music (the workout would freeze or fail to play the next track), but as soon as I set it back to the built in music list the problems went away. The beat sync really does work too. Overall great program and it works.

Great app; need to review BPM for own music. The app pretty much meets my needs. You can always question the accuracy of calories burned but I use this app more to provide the beat for my running. As I use an Elliptigo bike on a stationary trainer, it's also great for that, as well! Just review any music you use other than the built-in app music. The app does not do a very good job of getting the BPM for the music right. For every 5 songs, the BPM for 1 of the 5 is correct; 2 songs are +/- 1 BPM & the other 2 are completely wrong. Considering that the app will increase or decrease the BPM, a 1 or 2 BPM inaccuracy can be significant. Fortunately, you can change the BPM for any song you include in the app. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. Trying to correct the BPM for the 55 songs I uploaded to the app was quite a chore.

Great Running App. I absolutely love this App. In 30 days time, I have increased my distance almost two miles on the same 1 hour run. The time goes by quick and I enjoy the running now. This is a must have App for any traveler who wants to take a workout with them. The interval running is what makes this an effective workout. Different intensities means you hardly ever have the same run - if ever.

Great workout app. This is like having a personal trainer but tons cheaper. With my son I don't make runs as often outside as I should, so I bought this app and joined a gym with childcare and using just this app has improved my run time by a ton. I haven't had any problems, but the talking takes forever. I did a workout the other day and was just standing on the treadmill for 2 minutes looking like I didn't know how the machine worked just waiting for the person to stop talking and the workout to start.

Great so far!. I'm loving this app. The time just flies by and I'm glad I don't have to build the BPM playlists myself. The BPM processor is amazingly convenient. I think it's a little off, I've increased my walking speed by a few tents to match the pace of the song, but that doesn't really bother me. One bug: sometimes the trainer won't announce the change in intensity. I think this is coincident with the song changing. She'll end the interval and there's silence. I have to look at the screen to see the settings. This is fine when my phone is resting on the treadmill but I don't want to have to stare at it the whole time. Keep up the good work!

Great App! Worth every penny!. Having this app is the closest and cheapest way to have a personal trainer workout with you. I think it's extremely helpful that the program changes the tempo of my own iPod songs. The included tracks ate great also; very easy to follow their tempo. I've run harder than I thought I could so I could keep up with the tempo! It pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me accountability (I cant just slow down when I think I'm tired.). Although, if the workout truly is too hard, the intensity can be decreased during the workout or, increased at any point! The bottom line, I LOVE IT!! The program also progresses each time you use it! AWESOME APP!

Problems with new OS. I want to start by saying that I have really enjoyed this Lolo app! However, lately there is no difference in the intervals. One minute is spent at level nine, then the app tells me to pick it up for the next minute at level nine. And the music doesn't change speed. On the few times that the app changes speed, the music stays at the same speed. This has been a great app-I hope these issues are fixed soon.

2.0 is great improvement. Needs slightly better documentation. Would be nice if it would let you save playlists. Really like the new beat sync for use with my own iPod music. Still looking forward to the ability to create my own interval workouts, but I love the workouts that this app schedules for me! Has helped me work on my speed and hill work, challenging me to increase my endurance and mental toughness.

Phenomenal. I purchased this app. 3 months ago. I was an intermediate runner before I had my daughter 3 years ago. After the birth of my daughter, fitness was not my #1 priority. I had lost all my pregnancy weight but was not as strong as I had been before. I was searching through the apps one day and came across "lolo". I figured I would give it a shot. I picked my own music and got started. I started at the beginner running level. I was keeping it consistent with running every other day. I am happy to say I have dropped 15lbs and I am in the best shape that I have ever been. This has taken about 3 months but it has flown by. I highly recommend this app. Thank you Lolo!!!!!

I really love this program. I was looking for a program to guide me in building my running endurance while trying to lose weight on a treadmill. I downloaded this program and really enjoy how it's set up. I like the coaching and it builds your endurance slowly but not faster than you can handle. Really easy to follow along with, and has 3 levels for you to go through as you get stronger and more in shape. I'll download the Lolo 5k program next!

Love it!. I love this app. It's completely motivational and keeps me pushing through tough intervals that I know I wouldn't do on my own. The coach is really motivational (silly but true) and the beat matching the speed actually makes running feel easier! The only downside is you have to change your music from inside a workout, and if you change plans ( from walk/jog to run for example ) you have to reload all your music. In future versions would also love to have 20 and 25 minute options- but for now I do 15 and then go back 5 minutes and re-do the end of the workout. This app has made me a stronger runner and makes me look forward to working out! Love it!!!

There aren't enough stars!. This is probably comparable to the couch to 5k programs (run one minute, walk three, repeat) but with so much variance! I tried "learning" how to run a couple years ago but it was the beat of my footsteps that bugged me more than anything. Now that I can relate the beat to music, it not only has you focus on even motions, but I breathe so efficiently without even thinking about it. Also had a hard time figuring speed versus endurance. This app has demystified so much for me. Started at the end of March, and in May I jogged 6 miles straight, no breaks. To be fair, I guess I was physically fit from other exercise, but STILL, I used to be the girl who refused to run in PE. Sorry this is so long, I just can't express enough how much it has encouraged me. Now I WILL say the warm ups and cool downs are a bit rushed so just add your own.

Tennessee. This is the best app ever for treadmill running and walking. I Started it in July and almost a year later it still is great and i still love it. Wish they had an update though, would love some more coaching along. I went to the 10 k app for a month but came back to this one. I Highly recommend this to everyone wanting to get off the couch and stick with it. It makes that boring treadmill fun. Use your own music and change it up often so you don't get board.

Great if you find the treadmill boring!. I usually find the treadmill so boring so I decided to pay for and download this app based on the reviews. The app is easy to setup and you have various options to choose from to help you choose a starting point. This makes the time fly when on the treadmill as for my workouts the pace changes every minute or so and is definitely challenging, but when it is not challenging enough, you can increase the intensity that little bit higher to work you out real good. If you use the treadmill but are bored then I definitely recommend this app!

Buggy for iPod music. I really like the idea of this app, but it has major issues when you want to listen to your own music. It crashed on me several times today as I was trying to play my own music, wasting 10 minutes of my workout time. Once I finally got it to play, it had erased my entire playlist that I had set up a previous time (after dealing with crashing then, too). I finally got fed up and quit the app. Please fix this!! Half the reason I enjoy working out is a chance to just zone out while listening to my music for an hour! I think the idea of this app is excellent, and enjoyed the one workout I got with it, but please fix the bugs for those of us who want to listen to our own music!! Also, the ability to see the playlist you create would be helpful, so songs don't get added twice. 5 stars with these changes!

Simple To Use, Motivational. Satisfied Customer :) Pro: Great for treadmill use. Quick to load,simple clean look, very user friendly. Voice prompt great for motivation. Smart app, once you complete workout, next one will be up a notch on intensity depending on your goals or settings. Easily add iPod music. Great music included. Con: Should be another version of this app like a pro version to include con list issues since not everybody needs them. No workout log to track progress but it will display last workout progress before you start next workout. Unable to end workout if I decide to finish before time set but you should always finish what you start; you can however speed it up to complete it. Unable to share workout.

Great....got even better!. I loved this app when I got it and now you made it better....thank you!!! The workouts are great and challenging and they keep me on the treadmill....no quitting! No problem using music from iPod! Even better now that my workouts are tracked and I don't have to log them elsewhere! UPDATE!!!! Still lovin' this app, however a couple of issues! When I look at my history after a workout the timer is always wrong! 60 minute workouts are 57 or 58 minutes! 45 minute workouts are 42 or 43! Also...the max incline is wrong a lot! If I do a 12 incline it shows max as 6 or 8! Still a 5-star app but please fix!!!!

New user. Ok, maybe I'm jumping the gun because I just purchased this app, but after using it this evening, I'm seriously thinking of doing the 45 minutes instead of the 30! This made my treadmill workout go by extremely fast, where usually I DESPISE getting on the thing, and after 20 minutes on my own I'm ready to quit because I'm bored. Like I said, I could hardly believe the 30 minutes went by so quickly!! I'm looking forward to tomorrow's workout now!! :)

Amazing!. This app has literally changed my life. I have never liked running, never thought I "could" run until I started using this app. I began using it regularly (3+ times a week) in February and I've since lost 20 pounds and completed a 5K. Being able to run to the beat of music that you actually like makes a HUGE difference to a workout routine. I couldn't recommend this app more. I've told everyone I know with an iPhone or iPod touch to get it!

Awesome app!. I've been looking for an app that would help me step my running up to the next level, and this is it! I did my first workout today to my own music and 45 mins just flew by. The BPM sync is very cool and I wanted to do another workout as soon as I finished. I love that it includes not just changes in speed, but also changes in incline. I'm definitely feeling today's workout, so I know it was effective. if you are looking for an app that will take it up a notch, and be fun doing it, this is the app for you!

Best Walking App Ever. I bought Jeff Galloway's Ultimate 5K app because I love Jeff's training method. I bought this app because the people that made the app for him did an amazing job and I wanted to try their other apps. I've added this to my schedule to burn some extra calories when I'm off from the 5K running schedule. This is great for walking workouts. I'll probably try their running workouts later when I'm off my 5K schedule, but I've never had such great walking workouts. Who knew you could make walking so challenging. And it has new music! Fantastic app!

LOVE THIS APP!!. After losing 130 pounds 6 years ago, maintaining the weight loss has always been harder than actually losing the weight. I stumbled upon this app recently in a review and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did!!! I love the prompting from the trainer and that I never know what's coming next is awesome! It keeps me guessing and motivated like no other app that I've tried! I recommend this app to anyone, whether just starting a program or looking for a new and challenging workout!!

Awesome Workout Experience. Keeps getting better and better. I've lost 30lbs since last June by doing the workouts! It's so awesome! Thank you! I was a bit skeptical about this one, but I went for it anyway. Wow, the beat of the music changes during the workout to match my feet! That is pretty cool. It comes with integrated music which is nice, but it is the typical workout music. I chose the 30 minute running workout on a treadmill. The hill climb ups and downs were nice and the vocal coaching was enough to keep me going. Overall it's a great app. I recommend it.

Not the best.... After reading the reviews I was expecting a lot from this app. I honestly don't know why it's so highly rated. I was tired of my own workout music (overplayed) so I decided to buy this app since it comes with some tracks too. The tracks are pretty much all beats. If your like me and you like upbeat music during your entire workout then this is not for you. I felt like I was listening to elevator/jazz music during the walking part. It might just be me but i like a little bit more upbeat music before I start to run. And it's also impossible to turn the instructional voice "Brittany" off. Just let me run and play music! I just wish there was an option to turn it off or not have her talk so much for soooo long. A brief sentence here and there would be fine. I skipped to the next track hoping it would stop but she will continue talking in your ear without a way to turn her voice off.

Great motivator. I would definitely recommend this app. Has taken out the boredom when walking on the treadmill; really like the interval training. However, I have back issues and would really like this same concept in an app that takes that into consideration. Too much incline and jogging are not good for lower back issues and some of the workouts keep the incline high for too long. But, I can always just adjust my treadmill settings when I feel it's too much for my back. Definitely worth the price.

LOVE this program!. I have been using this program for the past couple of weeks and I absolutely LOVE the interval training! I look forward to each workout because it is usually a little more challenging than the last. Tonight, I ran a couple of intervals (I am doing the run/walk training) at 5.5 and 5.8. I know that is a fast walk for some (smile), but I have never run over 4.5 before. The interval timings are just long enough to push you, but not so long that you feel like you cannot do it and you quit. The program has had some glitches (it irritates me when I have to reload my music in when I'm ready for my workout) but like a relationship....I'm willing to take the bad because the good makes it so worthwhile! LOL!

Needs more customization and less crashes. This app continually crashed on me when trying to add mp3s to be analyzed for the BPM. I did manage to get 100 or so analyzed, but thats far from my total # of mp3s. With that said, I tried the workout with the mp3s it did analyzed. It seemed to work well, but when they say that you are able to 'alter the intensity' of your workout, it means you can only move the entire workout up or down. 2s become 3s, 3s become 4s, etc.. across the board. I really hoped to use this to set my workout before staring to my custom workout plan (outside of the program) but this seemed impossible (or very very difficult) with this prograam.

Almost there.. The idea of the app is fantastic, and works well to provide a good workout. However, I've found the app crashes everytime I try to play i-pod music through their interface. Also, you can not stop a workout and move onto the next one if you are interrupted. Instead you must finish the workout completely before the app will record results or move onto the next programmed workout. Finally, the inability to multitask is beyond frustrating. If they keep working on the app, they could have real winner. For now, it still feels like a work in progress.

Hard to use. Not customizable at all. I still can't figure out how to just go for a run and let the BPM change with my speed. You have to use their workouts to play the music. I have had to download my music 3 different times. It will download my music (only a small amount of songs), calculate the BMP but then the next time I go to use it, my music has disappeared and I have to download again! This app could be useful if you are looking to use their workout schedule (with their ups and downs and training intervals) but if you just want your music to play at altered BPM for your running then this app is not what you are looking for.

Love this one. This is a fantastic app. The woman's voice is very encouraging and helpful. The music changes tempo along with the running intensity. The interface is easy. My wish is that I could create custom workouts and save them: Like a spreadsheet with time and intensity and a total time. I'd also like to be able to rewind during a workout and be able to access past workouts to repeat them. Maybe in future updates we'll get those two things.

Best treadmill app. Hands down.. I love lolo Treadmill! It had me hooked within the first five minutes and I haven't missed a day of exercise, I never get bored! Definitely recommended and worth the money. I do wish the app would save my playlist once I've added it, and it would be awesome if it synced between my iPhone and iPod Touch. I use my iPod for exercising, but on my phone it still shows me as day 1. Those are honestly the only two things I could think of that I wish were better. I love you, lolo!!

Got my feet moving-update. It's been a few weeks since my original review. While I dislike cardio routines, I have stuck to a 4 X weekly routine thanks in no small measure to this app. The tunes are catchy enough to be interesting. I don't find the coaching to be intrusive. Some suggestions for updates: make it possible to ' build ' a routine from scratch. Allow for input of maximum inclination for the treadmill so that the program can take that into consideration when setting a hill. ---------------------------------- My original review mentioned that the music was skipping. I have sine determined that was not lolo but a problem in the transmission between my iPhone and my Bluetooth. Putting iPhone in a pocket closer to my ear solved that. I am using lolo daily and like the ability to adjust beat to my desired intensity without the music going weird. I use the built in music and like the variety The controls are intuitive. The customer support is prompt.

Outstanding. This is app has always been great, but the new features make it even better. I've tried many many different Running/walking apps, and this is the only one I found worth my time. The only thing I would change is maybe adding a scale to the side of the chart or numbers in the bars so you know what level it wants u to be at in case u don't hear it or want to see what's coming.
