Coyote. We have coyotes in our neighbor hood. When walking the dogs, it is a good feeling to have this light to blind the animals at night. It is quick to come on and keeps the strobe setting so all we have to do is start the app.

Let There Be Light. This app is one of my favorites! It gives instantly bright light that has come in handy on many occasions. I know where my phone is -so no searching for a flashlight that is either not bright enough or has dead batteries.

Love it. My iPhone 6 came with a built in flashlight but it was buried and impossible for me to find quickly in the dark....when you need a flashlight. I downloaded this and put it where I can easily find it and use it. Love it.

Very Practical. This feature is very practical function to have on your phone, and it always comes in handy when you least expect.

Use is every night!. My toddler sleeps with me almost every night and I put her to bed first while I do some chores around the house. When I go back in the bedroom I always go straight for my ilight it’s the best and I avoid having to turn the lights on and wake her up!

Love it!!. I downloaded this app onto my iPhone 5 and loved it but after installing, a pop up appeared asking me to rate the app - I accidentally clicked on 'Hated it'. So I wanted to rectify that w this review. I haven't tried any other flashlight apps but this one is good + fast to turn on.

🚨PRIVACY ALERT 🚨: Give them your camera or you don’t get the app.. The first time you open the app, it asks for access to your camera which is completely unnecessary for a strobe light. If you then close the app and reopen it, they’ve locked out of the only feature the app has until you give them access to your camera. They kind of behave is pointless and harmful. All users should report this app for abusive behavior!

Sometimes doesn't turn on. Love it, when it comes on. About a third of the time, I have to turn it on/off three or four times before it actually comes on. Really irritating. Can't report a problem to the website because malware has been reported by Mcafee.

Does the job, but have some complaints. The app is fine but I wish I could make it just a bit darker, and why the hell does it need the camera? You can choose not to allow it but the fact that it even needs camera access is rediculous. Also just get rid of the ads.'If I need a flashlight I don't have time to tap out of ads, for something as simple as a flashlight.

Phone Light. I use this app every day to dress “in the dark”. I can get that done without waking anybody else. Additionally, dropping food items on the kitchen floor is a small matter when the phone light is close at hand. Nothing escapes that phone light.

Used to be a great bright flashlight. I’ve used this app for years; it’s the brightest flashlight app and yes, I tested all of them,but tonight when I went to use it, I got an error message stating that I “must grant permission to use the camera in order to access the flash. Go to settings, privacy, camera and set the switch to ON for iLights.” So I do that, but when I get to “camera,” then select “App clips”…the only there to select, it says “app clips that have requested access to the camera will appear here,” but iLights is not there to select. Nothing is there to select! So frustrating! Please fix this!! This was such a great app!

Emergencies. I love iLights on my iPhone!!! Any time that it’s dark iLights is always a handy application as it never fails to work. If I loose anything and it is dark, iLights is super special because you can track your steps to find your list item. Taking walks in the dark devoid of artificial light, iLights can light your path to prevent accidents, ie etc. At concerts use it to cheer!!! I simply LOVE having iLights on my phone. Thank you developers of this application.

It works well, but…. Very useful while walking the dog at night, but it needs the option to turn the screen off to conserve battery life while using it. And if not that at least a dark mode screen.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel! A Must!. Easy access to help you find your way quickly! Whether you’re struggling to find keys or the lock they fit the many uses for the Lights App are endless. I know longer need to find a flashlight, carefully step in a darkened room (especially when my husband has rearranged the furniture) nor miss a call if the stereo is too loud. Best Ever. I cannot believe you can actually have a flashlight with you at all times. I had surgery 10 days ago and use it when I get up in the night to use the facilities. It has really helped me during my recovery.

SAFETY CONCERN!!!. I wish there was an IMMEDIATE access to it instead of going into the app. Sudden danger is SUDDEN. I worry about this while walking alone after work or am in places where there are few people. I look at this light feature more for safety than as a light source, though on occasion I do use it as a flashlight. But, for flashlight use, I am using it to illuminate something and “at will”. So bright!. I wanted a flashlight that would be very nice & bright..so, I downloaded afew different flashlights that said that they were bright & I turned my lights off & tested each 1 against the other afew times just 2 make sure that I was get’n a clear & correct conclusion of level of brightness of each flash light..so, as I was do’n my test - I would delete each flashlight that was dimmer than the other until I was left with 1..this 1..this flashlight was the winner! The brightest out of all the flashlights that said that they were bright..well, ya, ur bright but not the brightest!

It's great!. I love having such a great light at hand anytime I need it. Power goes out no worries you can find your way. Ever been shopping in a extra large store and naturally you're in the back of the store and lights out. You have your phone with you always now... find your flashlight app and now you're the hero when you're able to help others to the front of the store. Get this light and never be without a flashlight when you need one.

iLights App Review. I use this app often; outside at night and in the house at night. Using iPhone as a rechargeable flashlight is a great idea and it works really well, no problems. Could be improved: 1. Strobe feature would be enhanced by giving a readout of the variable frequency. This would add a stroboscopic function useful in determining rotations per minute of motors,etc. The flash rate adjustment could be extended slower & faster. Perhaps a vernier bar for fine-tuning the extended range. As it is, I rarely use this feature, save for use if the battery is needing recharging. 2. Trips to the bathroom at night without waking spouse: being able to set it for sleep mode, where it would come on with the led off and the screen intensity decreased - perhaps the screen dark except for a circle with a slider bar to vary it’s diameter, which would be remembered for use next time. And a red button for switching on the led if needed (switch to day/ night mode)

Great app. Downloaded this app at 10:30 at night, me and my friend got splatrball guns and I decided to try to strobe him but the normal flashlight doesn’t have a strobe feature, but this app has multiple different speeds you can adjust as well as being free. Great app

Perfect for my needs!. When wheeling on the street after dark, I needed something other than just the normal flashlight on my phone. I did have the strobe light on at full speed, anything below that just seems too slow but it’s nice for people to have the option of strobe speed!

Bright & On In a second every time!!. It’s surprising how often I use this light. Seems like I’m always popping it out to check wether it be under a dark back seat, under a seat, poorly lit portion of my driveway and so on. The Strobe effect is semi-regular but even more useful; my mailbox is located along a dimly lit street so every couple days I have to pick up, I adjust the settings and nearly every car approaching sees me and slows down as they pass. Totally worthy feature, I love it!!

Very good app! Read this!. It’s exactly what it says it is!! Perfect for anything you need a strobe light for! The reason I put 4 stars, is because I think it could have a little bit more to it. For example, there is only one page in the app. On the page, there is a setting to change the brightness of the light, a setting for the light to be on/off/ or the strobe light, and then a setting for the speed of the strobe. Something cool this app could have is how many strobes there are until it stops! Like if you were making a video and needed something to pretend as a gunshot, you could make the strobe hit 2 times! That would be very helpful. But other than that, this app is very nice!! Definitely Recommended.

My Beacon of Light. It’s so handy, I couldn’t tell how many times I used it. I liked it the most, when I need to go thru my preschool as a Custodian after turning off all lights to get front door with out tripping over stuff, I normally would do without it!! Thanks!!

What a Fantastic gadget!!. I am a third shift Nurse. When going into a patient's room, you do not want to flip on a bright overhead light. This flashlight helps me see, not trip over anything and keeps the light low enough to let the patient go back to sleep!! I also like the strobe light on fast. If I were to get in a car crash, I'm out on dark roads. What a great way to be seen! I love this App, thanks for making it. All of us Nurses use it now.

Simple genius!. Whoever thought of this app is a blooming genius. The days of rummaging through drawers to find a flashlight that works and has batteries are over. The app is on my iPhone's home screen, and because I always know where it is and because it always works, it has helped me: make it through numerous power outages; find things that got stuck in the couch; find things BEHIND and UNDER the couch; organize all those pesky wires and cables running out the back of my entertainment center; etc. Yesterday I used it to find something that had fallen behind the washing machine. It's a gem in my book! I give it 5 stars.

Great App for walking your dog. I live in a residential neighborhood with a lot of traffic at all hours of the day and nigh, so whenever I have to take my Black Lab out for her nightly bathroom break having the strob light on makes drivers slow down while we’re outside at night!

LOVE IT. I have an iphone four and I love it. But there are some things I find really cool about the newer updates. Adjusting flashlight brightness is on of them. I live the SOS light as well. The app itself is quite simple but sometimes that's what makes things good! 👍💛💙💜💚

Does the job. I got the app because I wanted a good high-speed strobe light. Does what I expect with no glitches. But wish there was an option to leave it at the setting I like to have that to come up when I turn on the app. Otherwise the light comes on at full brightness the moment I turn on the app, The same thing the flashlight button does on any iPhone anyways.

Giving it five stars for reason. I've looked all over the app store for a great bright flashlight for all kinds of uses from rummaging through my closet under the bed in my drawers also for plucking my eyebrows I turn it backwards with the light facing me put a little magnifying mirror on top of the phone works like a charm but it doesn't stay on and for the life of me I can't figure out why The developers would not have it stay on because all the others that are not as bright stay on forever!!!!

Safe night walking!. I walk home in the night during the fall and winter months. The cross walks have always been dangerous. This app makes it super safe and everyone can see me walking. Super bright and love the strobe when crossing streets.

Simply a Flash light.. It is very simple and I assume a flash would be able to have these options. I use it frequently. And I love the simple options compared to the other flash light app. I gave it four stars only though because on other app the is a color choice in which I did not have the option for.

Safety Concern DO NOT DOWNLOAD❗️. So I downloaded this app like anybody would, and I was instantly promoted with an alert that asked me if I wished to give the app camera access, as it needed it to control my flashlight. Me being skeptical, I decided to press don’t allow. Much to my surprise, THE FLASHLIGHT APP STILL WORKED. Why would they ask for your camera access while using the app if they don’t need it? Very creepy! In addition to this after I pressed don’t allow, I was shown another alert telling me I won a “free” download to a song, this alert looked very fake, this app may be phishing data as well. TL;DR: DO NOT DOWNLOAD

IPhone does it again. Upgraded to latest ios and lost my built in flashlight. Research suggested I do the recovery mode trip. Right. Instead searched App Store found this flash light app and it works like you want a flashlight to work. I'm delighted.

Great app!. Love this app! Especially when power goes out. Super easy to get to and easy to launch. :) No more wondering where the flashlights are (if the kids borrowed them for zombie/ghost hunting) or if the batteries will even work if we do find the flashlights! Love this app!

Thank you for this. I have a narrow long narrow driveway and it’s hard to see from the street, I had to call the EMTS last night for my husband when he fell down, I held the Strobe on my porch and they found my little drive right away….alls well!

I lights app out of all other flash light apps and stock iPhone light. I will start by saying that this app seems to be working great for my needs and really in general! I love the fact that u can turn the flashlight brightness down or up which is what I usually use but it also has a feature that you can set light to strobe slower or fast. Very adjustable and in certain speed flash modes I’m sure this would be great in case of an emergency at night possibly! Overall this app delivers exactly what it advertises, I am satisfied

Does what it says!. Really simple to operate - I LOVE this app! I walk on a lonely country road, often in the dark, and this app stays on standby without running down my battery. I can quickly pull my phone out of my pocket when a vehicle approaches and activate the strobe. Feel much safer thanks to iLights. Definitely recommend.

The light. When ever I need to read a menu in a resturant ,drop something under a table ,drop on of the backings from my pierced earring or have to read something off of the back of a medicine bottle I pull out my I Phone and find my flashlight app and turn it on. Simple and bright!. I have had this app a long time. I live in the country so I use it often to open gates at night and other task that would require a flash light. My husband and I both use this app often and would highly recommend it!

FANTASTIC LIGHT. I absolutely love this lighting app. Whenever I need a flashlight it's right there. Looking for something in the dark hole called my purse...invaluable. Use it at least 5 times a day for all sorts of occasions. I can't be without it! Thank you for this really useful app.

Very helpful little light. Use it often during the night instead of turning on room lights. Also as a flashlight in parking lots for secure footing. It is a great security light. In restaurants for reading menus, to look for something in my purse, and lots of other uses too.

What can I say, it’s a light!. What I like is the fact that it is such a small app, which makes it a lot harder for the designers to hide programs that could be stealing important info. So if have a light program that is a large program, you should probably search out a smaller one. With a smaller program there will be less room to hide any other program with in the light program. Thank you !!!

Great light for many uses!. Use this to use the “facilities” in the middle of the night. In a dark restaurant or bar to see the menu & bill. Or anywhere else that you might need a flashlight but you only have your phone close by.

App is great. The ads... Not so much. First, and most importantly, the app works properly and provides a flashlight quite soon after opening, which is very useful. The interface is simple and intuitive, unlike many of the over-detailed or excessively labelled flashlight apps on the App Store. It's also awesome that the developer maintains support for iOS 6. However, the one thing keeping this app from being perfect is the pop-up advertisements. I can live with banners, but pop-ups are the next level of annoyance. I get that ads (or in-app purchases) are the only way to make money on a free app, but pop-up ads are really obnoxious.

Very useful. The app does what I need. It is easier to access than the built in iPhone light....in that swiping up and clicking the light does it always work and then you have to do the sam thing to turn off the light. Your app easily allows me to turn on and off the light. Thanks for your invention.

Flash Light. Using the flashlight option on my phone a.k.a. an apple iPhone 8; makes things easier for me to get around at night as well in my bedroom I just want to read. It’s always handy when I’m out for an evening and can’t find my car. Thanks for having an App option available.

Everything except the kitchen sink. I love this app. I had to visit the public amenities at a hotel where I was staying the other day, and the light switch was no where to be seen!!! Thank goodness for the iPhone & this app. Don't pay for a torch app, this works just fine!!!!!

Worst I've ever had. As soon as I got the app I got a notification on the app saying I'm a winner of something so I clicked on it and it's ur usual scam page put in ur creed details and what ever ,also ever few seconds it asks u to rate the app it doesn't even do what it's advertised to , it uses u screen and the light and the light is quite dark so I don't recommend it

Warning do not download. This application is malware, in fact I don't know how it got through apples malware filter system. 3 seconds into downloading the app it gives you scam pop ups trying to get your credit card details, it asks for access to your camera.(I'm guessing it sends a live feed back to somebody computer) It's most likely spyware. And the other comments with five stars are fake, and my last comment was deleted so if this comment disappears after a bit we all know why... 🖕🏽F4CK THIS APP!🖕🏽

Perfect Light App. Had this app on both my and my husband’s phone for years now. Great little light! We both love having it handy when needed!

Great for walking my dog. What I like about it is it’s simple. No strobe, no color, just on and off. I don’t wear my reading glasses while walking the dog so I really can’t see the screen.

Lights my path home through The Woods! Don’t leave home without IT!. Not everyone with a smart phone also has street lights, ask anyone in my Community! Lights app saves me if I’m out hiking on a late winter day & early sunset every time.

May help with glaucoma. I have progressive glaucoma which is constricting my field of vision. Using the strobe feature maybe helping me reclaim, or at least prevent additional loss in my field of vision.

Excellent. Works like a flashlight, yet it is better because I always know where it is and the battery is always excellent. It is always available and works when needed.

Safe for night walks!. I love this strobe light. Sometimes I forget to wear my head light but this is great since I always have my phone with me. The strobe makes it so that anyone can see me at night.

This is a great app!. I would be lost without my light app. I have many times been somewhere without a flashlight but never without my iPhone so it is very convenient to have a light at all times.

Pornographic picture popped up on my screen. I used my this flashlight app this morning. Turned it off and put it in my purse. 15 minutes later I looked at my phone and there is a VERY graphic pornographic picture on my phone. I've never used my phone to go to any porno sites or ever take pictures. The only thing I can think of is it had something to do with this app 👎🏻

Bright!. The light is more powerful than several of my best flashlights. Great to have when you get home later than you expected.

Love it. I didn’t realize how often I would use this, but A few of the uses are to look under the sofa, behind the refrigerator, and taking the dogs out in the dark.

Lots of fun. It’s really easy to use and work with. I work at a Christian Camp and when ever we make party videos, we have 4 people use this app to strobe the room out.

Love it. I love it!!!! My regular flashlight wasn't working so I figured that getting a flashlight app would fix it and it did ! I was gonna get rid of the app but then I really grew on me I wasn't ever gonna delete cause I just love it so sime and organized

Great App. This flashlight is always there when I need it. I keep a couple of flashlights around the house but I’ve got to go looking for them. I always know where my phone is.

Many uses. I use the light to view details in quilting projects. The down side is that I accidentally turn on the light when I just pick up my phone.

Very handy. I always struggle with the iPhone flashlight trying to find it, turning it on and off. This makes it accessible!

Lights. I love this app. My iPhone has had some issues with the pull up menu. I downloaded this so that I could use a light feature. It has worked wonderfully.

Cool. Exactly what I wanted. Simple and efficient. It’s nice to have a flashlight when you need one. Thanks for the app. Don’t imagine I would need the strobe, but it seems to be just fine for it’s needs.

LOVE IT! Very Useful!. When your power goes out because of nasty weather, or your stranded on the road at night with your vehicle. You know you’ve got a trusted flashlight on your phone. Plus It has both adjustable dimmer and strobe.

Why 5 stars?. Well it’s exactly what it says it is and it is very useful for if I ever were attacked in the dark stun my enemy and then call cops or something anyway great app

Like the App...But. I don’t like ads popping up in the middle of my use of the flashlight. That causes safety issues. Otherwise I like the convenience of having the light directly on my cell phone. Get rid of the ads popping up in an untimely manner, and the rating will be a five.

Useful, reliable app.. Just remember to say “turn on” and “turn off” flashlight instead of “open” or “close.”

Light works well, and appreciate the dimmer feature. The light does well, and is the first I’ve used that has a dimmer, so it’s not too bright when it doesn’t need to be.

Great Flashlight. Works great I just wish there was a quick turn on and off with a button combo or something!

ILights. I appreciate the ILights for iPhone. It has adjustable brightness and strobe speed. My favorite feature is that I can ask Siri to turn it on, especially during a power outage.

Cell Phone light very handy.. When I don’t have my flashlight the cell phone light is really handy and works well.

Life saving app. When we need a quick and dependable flashlight, this app has been a life saver. On hikes at dusk, getting around in a cabin with no electricity and getting to a car in the dark.

Let there be light!. I’ve always had trouble finding the flashlight on my i-phone. After I got this app it lit my way down the street to my neighbors and back. Love it!

i had a seizure and went into a coma. i did not realize that i was epileptic until the day i downloaded this app. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. I almost died, it put me into a coma quickly and i was in it for 10 year. Overall Great App

Great free flashlight app with strobe feature. Why iOS does not have a built in strobe feature for their flashlight seems just silly. This free app fills that gap. Perfect for nighttime dog walks. Even recently used it as a emergency flash while on the side of the road fixing a flat.

ILights. Always using this whether it be for a hidden dog toy under the couch or checking temps and humidity on my ball python! Easy to use and just like an awesome flashlight! Thank you for making my life easier!!

Flashlight is excellent!. Bright, strong light, very helpful in the dark, early-morning hours when I often walk down our long driveway to get the newspaper.

Good flashlight app. Easy to see if you are turning on or off. Easy to set one in four brightness settings. Also strobe is easily set re frequency and brightness. Can't get better than this…

Excellent Light. The light works very well and gives me enough illumination to get my things organized for the day without waking up others. I also use it to look at smalls things (e.g., pills) that are difficult to read.

Very bright light.. * The app opens very quickly with voice-command on my iPhone. This is very helpful if it’s dark and I quickly need light. +The light is very bright, and transmits through the pinhole aperture. Very effective.

Amazing app. It only does one thing yet they make it do that one thing amazingly all it does is flash a light but for some reason it’s just fun to mess around with

Not too many Ads. Flash could be faster but maybe that’s hardware issues.

No lock screen ability. The app does what I wanted it for just strobe for bike riding at night or when I forget to attach lights. Works great for that , but I would have given this five stars except the fact is : THE LIGHT TURNS OFF WHEN LOCK SCREEN IS ACTIVATED OR YOU CLOSE THE APP. Not cool who really wants more battery drain with the screen on and the strobe ! Make it stay on for lock screen mode.

ILights. This APP comes in quite handy, especially when going into a room. Where the light switch is not in the most convenient place.

Quite good. Works great for my purposes of getting around after the lights go off at night with phone stuck in my shirt pocket. Would like to have light and screen both dimmer and will mess with settings.
