Its kinda cool. I like it. But it needs a few more features like being able to see the brush space and being able to adjust the size of the brush more, be able to turn off auto rotate, save sassion to work on later etc. The brush things are the biggest drawback. I do like being able to make the b&w color sephia and other colors though, and thats about the only thing this app has over color splash, which i still prefer. Fix those things and itll be 5.

A Little Bit of Bait and Switch. I really wanted to like this app, but it's really hard to use. It's difficult to manipulate the image (via pinch and zoom), then single tap to color the portions of the image you want to color. And, there's a little bit of bait and switch going on here....in the demo video, you can clearly hear the narrator clicking a mouse (and hence also using a large computer monitor) to show how easy the app is to use. That ease of use just doesn't translate when you're trying to use your finger (aka large stylus) on the iPhone (aka tiny screen) ! I recommend "Don't Buy."

Great App, Even for the Amateur!. I have had the pleasure of using this wonderful to enhance, and most surprisingly, create original works of, what I would call "art." Kudos, to the folks at East Coast Pixels for putting out such wonderful array of apps, that not only enhance my mobile phone experience, along with many other media forms,but make it a something to look forward to.

💜👍Color Splash👍💜. 😊 This is the app I've been looking for! It's so much fun!! I adore it and i just bought it 30 minutes ago and have already edited four amazing pictures!! Buy this app!! It's totally wort it if you are into taking lots of pictures and enjoy editing them. Editing pictures is a hobby for me, it's relaxing and so much fun. I have so many of the best editing apps and this is for sure my favorite!!!! BUY THIS APP!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍ups 💋

Time is Saved!!!. This app is very cool. There are apps out there that have the same result BUT this app is a lot easier and best of all ..... is a BIG TIME SAVER. Just follow the simple instructions and you'll be off to a FAST and simple start. There's no need to worry about going out side the lines (color bleeding); this app works very well AND runs well on the iPhone. Others are worried because the tutorial was done on a computer........ it wouldn't run as well on the Phone.... but it does. For the Dev..... a cool feature would be if we could blur the background and have more options like Negative, etc. But all in all, this app is worth the 1.99; Even though I'm on the 'west coast'............ 'East Coast Pixels, inc.' ROCK. Thanks guys. *****WARNING***** You're gonna want to blast every pic you have!! LoL Have fun guys....

Fantastic App!. Got this yesterday and I love it. It's so easy to use, and makes pictures look great! Sometimes it won't pick up shades that are a little too dark or too light, but that's easily fixed by using a different brush. So great at what it does. Suggestion, though. I'd love the ability to start again with a new color! For example, select red or blue or green and recolor whatever you choose.

Loving it, when it works. When it will work its great. Right now it keeps asking me to rate it and closes when i say no thanks. Fix that and 4 stars. Other than that Makes great pics even better. Love that you can alter the color to any you choose. Just one thing would make it a 5 star. Can you make it hold the color you choose so that you can do large pics that don't fit in the frame at the same time? Had a bit of an issue with that. Thanks for a great product!

The Best!. I've tried countless "Color Splash" photo-editing apps and this one is by far the best! There's so many options and it's a breeze to use, with no more worrying about tiny areas on a photo that need more detail. HIGHLY recommend!

Limit options. There are only bright color options available to choose from to paint,i want to paint an object black and gray but can’t since there are no options to choose darker colors Waste of money

A waste of 99 cents, but what did I expect?. Incomprehensible instructions that a person even with advanced skills can’t comprehend. Good thing Apple offers refunds

Pretty good for a free app. Thumbs up from me...

Color Me Unhappy. Worked great for about two days, and I had lots of fun with this app while it did function (@thc1022 on IG). BUT for two days now the app is completely unusable. The "rate me" box opens on launch and the app crashes and closes regardless of how I answer the request to rate. Same cycle over and over. It is now impossible to open the app for use. Fix this and I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars. One complaint for when the app does function. The hand icon should not be in with the brushes. It should be one if the main options at the bottom for easier use. You can pan your zoomed image with two fingers without using the hand icon, but I don't recommend it. Way to easy to accidentally paint or erase an area with the two finger pan. But it's too tempting to use it because the hand icon is buried in with the brushes. Have to open that option to select the hand, then re-open it to turn off hand/pan by deselecting your brush choice. Way too many steps for a function you use over and over again. Put the hand icon on the main selection bar at the bottom. The hand icon should then toggle between pan mode and the current brush choice. Fix the crash problem AND this and you've got a 5 star app.

The worst of an otherwise awesome group. So confusing and unintuitive. Big time fail.

Best out here. This is the go to app. The colors flow and you don't have to worry about over lapping. Would give it more stars if I could. Keep up the good work.

Best app!. Are use this app exclusively for my photos of flowers it really makes them stand out from the rest very quick and easy to use. Highly recommend it. Amaze your friends, be the first on your block!

Nothin but awesome!. This is absolutely the best. I tried 3 other apps before this one thinking the price for this one showed it wouldn't amount to much. I was wrong. I want this for my MacBook for sure when it comes out. Wished it had an option to pull up one you have already worked on but it is so easy to use, you really don't have to. I also love the ability to bring color in subtly with the slider. Emailed the developer and got a response immediately about a question. Top notch!

Really fun and easy to use. This app is terrific for adding cool colorizing effects to photos you're planning to print or share on Facebook or Instagram. It took me about thirty seconds to figure out how to use it and about only a few tries to get really good with it. I get a lot of compliments from friends when I use it.

New Creative Life. Just started using color burst and am finding so many older images that I can bring back to a new and improved life because of it

Wasted .99. Tried to color a b&w image nothing happened. Tried to click on app support link in App Store & link did not work.

For me...best and easiest APP for highlighting color. I have downloaded several apps with the intent of simply highlighting a singular color in a picture. This app for me is by far the easiest to create those images...a black and white image with a pop of pink from a recent women's march for example. perfect.

Excellent. Although there are plenty if other apps and filters for giving your photos a similar effect, this is by far the best I've found. It makes the process foolproof, yet gives you a great deal of control to customize the results.

So fun. I have tried several photo editors and this is a very easy to use affordable fun app. I have trashed several for this one.

Make it pop!. Tried a few of these types of apps, and this one is the best bet, for the money too. Gives you a wide variety of brushes, including one that once you start painting to remove gray, it only removes gray from THAT color, called the "Magic Brush", pretty awesome. Allows you to zoom in really good to do detailed work. You can also change the grayscale tint once you are done, so instead of just having the gray background you can have yellow, blue, violet, red and green! Useful if you want to great the effect of a subject jumping out of an old sepia yone image in color. Also one thing alot of people dont try is leaving the subject in grayscale and coloring the background, this method really makes some images. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because 1. You cannot change the brush stroke size, and 2. If you zoom in far and try to pan and move the image with two fingers, which you have to do, sometimes it does sorta shake some and isn't as smooth, but that doesn't happen all the time. All in all, if you want to be able to create this kind of effect, this app right here is most likely going to be your best choice...

Fantastic. Very slick app, simple interface, but powerful. I've spent a ton of time editing photos and changing colors around. I had an issue with image resolution and customer support responded right away with directions to fix my problem.

Not what I was expecting. I need an app that will literally change the color of a photo. Like let’s say I have a photo with a red background, I want to change it to purple. This app doesn’t do that. It just makes it black and white and allows you to choose parts of the photo to originate back to its original color.

It’s still a keeper. Over the past 5 years or so, I have bought way too many photo editing apps. I’m currently conducting a ruthless inventory of the lot, trashing unused apps, free-or-not, focused on the fact that Adobe and Apple apps cover a broad, reliable spectrum of almost everything I need. Note the “almost” clarifier. For fast and effective selective coloring of b/w images that come alive with the addition of color to a distinct and vibrant feature ... eye color, landscape flowers, etc. ... this app is as fast, effective, simple-to-use and ready to go as it gets. Big kudos and much appreciation from a lifelong photojournalist of over 40 years. I am now, at long last, going back to select and edit 100,000 or so personal “art” photos gathered while I was on assignment for magazines, archived until whenever, God willing, I could go back to revisit. That would be “now.” With the select apps I’m retaining, this being one of several definite keepers, I’m having a blast.

Favorite app. I love this app. I've used it to create amazing shots that family friends and co workers are amazed that I did that from my phone. I've never paid for a single app and I've got at least 100 that I've downloaded for free, this is the first app that I've spent money to upgrade and enjoy even more of the features and increase it's usability. I've recommended this to a lot of friends and they've loved it as well.

Love the idea.. I downloaded the full version after uploading an image to Facebook from the Lite to find the picture quality lacking quite a bit. After I downloaded the full version and did the same picture and uploaded it again, it looks exactly the same except a little bit bigger. Still lacking the quality it says I get from the full version. I still really like the App. and the fact that it pulls certain colors only is fantastic!

Fine point stylus. I wish the ipencil worked on an iPhone. HELLO?

Doesn’t recolor. We read the reviews but decided to take a chance on this app. Turns out, the negative reviews were right. It downloads fine and accesses photos fine. It just doesn’t recolor any photos. No matter what options you try for brush or spray can or size of brush or color features. Nothing makes any color changes, If you try to take a photo with the camera using the app, it crashes. My daughter, who was extremely excited, is now terribly disappointed. Not worth downloading. Try something else.

Nothing else close. I’ve tried many many similar apps. and nothing comes close in design and function. In fact I can’t find anything else that does what it does. It’s unique and great fun to use. The results are surprising and can be fantastic on all kinds of pics. Mad if you don’t try. I would hate not to have it. Unsolicited and true .. and I have dozens of photo apps.

Awesome Photos. This is an awesome app that I can use on my iphone and then email or SMS it or upload to Facebook when I'm finished with my colour blast! You do need to use two fingers to move around the screen when you have zoomed in tho. Took me a while to figure that out. Recommend it.

Great App!. I tried the lite version. Really liked it, and went to buy it but got the other one with a similar name by accident. The other one has no edge/object detection. This ones edge/object detection rocks!! I can create great compositions in no time! Well worth the price for ease of use and great final results.

Good. It's a really well-made app, although sometimes the controls can be annoying. I'll place two fingers on the screen and slide to move across the picture, and I'll start colouring and/or freeze instead, which can drive someone batty when it happens almost every single time.

Love it! Fun, easy, quality, unique.. I have owned this app for 3 years and loved it from day one. What used to take me a day in photoshop to do now takes moments on my iPhone. Great App but why buy it twice?. This app is straightforward and easy to use. The first projects I did turned out great and got lots of attention. **BUT** Why do I have to buy it twice to use the paid version on my iPad?? Five stars when that gets fixed.

Amazing app!!. Very intuitive and well thought out. Besides the obvious function, this app Allows me to experiment with various hues and completely transform some photos for the better. Near endless possibilities!!!

Really bad. As another reviewer noted, the video demo cheats by showing the app being used with a mouse pointing device on a desktop/laptop machine. With the resolution of the app, one's finger is way too blunt a pointer unless you zoom alllllllll the way in. The hue control is confusing. The app didn't color within any lines I could see - I experimented with a photo of a white coffee cup sitting on a table, nothing too difficult, and this was a total FAIL. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Easy, fun picture editor. Easy to use, user interface is very clean, and great results!! In all a very quick and easy way of transforming pictures

Love it. I've had a blast with this app. You can only do pics that already have bright colors to start with, but what more do you want from an app. I've redone pics for friends pics on FB and emailed them and they were blown away.

Best so far. Today I tried over 20 color editing apps. This is definitely the best one so far. The only thing that would make it perfect..... Is if there was a selection tool that allowed you to adjust the Hue and contrast and saturation in just one specific area of color instead of that affecting the entire photo

Great Effects. The app works well. It's easy to create interesting effects in your photos. Harder for people with big fingers but still do-able........

Worth It. Very nicely done It is very easy to make some funny and colorful pictures with this app. I would love to give it  but it doesn't always stay within the lines other than that it is just as good as Color Splash.

Problems with crashing. Great app and so much easier to use than a lot of the other similar apps I've tried. However after I paid for the full version it started freezing up and crashing while in the middle of editing. Hopefully just a bug that will be fixed soon. 5 stars if that were fixed.

Fun 2 use. This works great with the pics taken with my iPhone4. The smaller brush rocks when you're trying to paint in a whole person. I think every pic looks better with the sepia effect. Right now my FB profile pic is blasted.

East Coast Pixel. Really liking this app and any app made by these guys! I use ColorBlast and PhotoToaster for most of my picture editing on my iPhone! Quick, easy to use, and great results!

Please fix!. I love this app but there just started to be a glitch. Every time I start the app it asks me to rate, no matter which option I choose the app still closes :( Please fix this, I've got some awesome pics I wanna work on.

Perfect results!. This is the easier app I've used to add a pop of color to a black & white photo. No skill required for perfect results!

Just one problem. This may be a problem with the iOS and not with the app but whenever I try to load a picture that has been cropped into a circle, I end up with white space in a square around the image. If this gets fixed, I will rate 5 stars. Other than this, I LOVE this app. So easy and so much fun!!!

Best App!. Such a good app I love how you can share your work with Instagram or through a ton of other methods. You can experiment on photos without sharing or saving which fosters creativity. A really great app I just love it!

Great app. I am really enjoying being able to alter my photos . My 16 yr old cousin who hates getting her picture taken, let take a photo then after she got to play with it , she insisted I text it to her.

Crashes every time since purchase. The editor is amazing and intuitive but since I paid for the app it will not access any photos. It repeatedly crashes over and over again. Please fix this especially for those who paid for it.

The Best Ever!!. I love this app! It is the coolest app! My friends always compliment me on my pics. It is really easy to edit pictures on this app! I definitely recommend everyone to have this application on their iPhone/iPad.

Loved it! So much fun. I tried their lite version and enjoyed it so I bought it full. Would like to see an option of changing brush sizes. Overall it's a very easy-to-use and fun app

Ok. It's not bad... However there are alot of pictures I tried to edit that are impossible to edit. The colors go outside the lines and cannot be cleaned up. I would like to see a better color edit. Maybe one where u can choose the size of editing brush so the color stays in the lines. Something more precise maybe? That being said it's a good start...

Awesome!!!. I love this app. I agree sometimes the brushes are not/too responsive. I love that I can do with this app something I have been trying to do for years on my computer!!

Love. It has taken me YEARS to find a color pop/ splash app that doesn't require me to color in a specific section. Granted, there is some coloring involved but it's only the color you select so there is no need to stay in the lines. It was worth the $0.99.

Great App :). I was a little skeptical of buying the full version, but now I'm glad I did, if you have the iPhone 4, you need to get the full! Otherwise the resolution is not up to par :P

Pretty good.. To be able to highlight an area of a photo and change its color is pretty remarkable. It works well. The finger gestures are easy to use and natural. Some of the best I've seen in a photo app. This is the way photo apps should be.

Great software. I have been using Color Splash for a while. A friend suggested Color Blast and I'm hooked! The control one has with Color Blast is wonderful! Love it!

very good app!. I would give 5stars but I'm missing option to save and load sessions, if you can include this in your future update it would be one of the best photo editing apps for me.. thanks a lot

no!. Every time I try to play it tells me to rate the game and even though I have rated it like 7 times now it still ask me the question. Worst of all when I say no it closes the app so I never get In. Please fix it I love this app

Color slider not working. Spent a lot of time masking an image only to find I can't select red on the slider. I then tried on different images but it's obvious it is not filtering through the correct colors. I am able to get blues and green but when I push the slider all the way to the left (red) it shows green. Please correct this and I will edit my review but as it stands now this app is useless for me.

Great app!. It's a nice app especially for the price, If you don't know if you want to buy for it or not, try the lite version, it's pretty limited but it can create some beautiful pictures. You can also save them to Facebook too.

ColorBlast. I love this app!!! I only wish we could change white to a different color easily. Other than that I think it is a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 📲. 😊

Does what it says! . It really works. Well worth the money. It finds the color and only fills in the color. I found out about this app reading color splash reviews. Almost bought that one! Glad I didn't 

I like this app, however I do not like the fact that when I first got into it today I was asked to write a review I pushed not now and it kicked me out of the app. Tried again pushed don't ask again, kicked me out. So now I am writing this review hoping this gets me all the way into the app. It would have been five stars had you not MADE me write this review.

Only works on distinct colors.. This app works great for scenes where there is a distinct difference between color tones. Otherwise, it's just as good as colorsplash. The altering of the selceted portion is really cool too!

Best App Ever!!!!. I absolutely love this app!!!!! Totally worth the money!!!!! It's so easy to use!!! You can use this app to create a colorsplashed effect or you could use it to change the hue of a certain area on the photo!!!!! Love love love this so much!!!
