5 Stars ! Best of its kind ! Great Interface !. ZuluTime is fully customizable and automatically syncs and displays the correct time in ZULU according to location chosen. In addition, you may choose the arrangement of multiple ZULU TIME clocks and manually calibrate the UTC of that location.

Does what it says, but needs complication. For 99 cents the app is ok. Would be worth more and reviewed higher if it could be used as a complication rather than just an app and agree Zulu should be in 24 hour format. Developer mentioned this is difficult to do and keep clock accurate but I rarely need a real time count of the seconds. Make the complication by creating your own time digits, drop the seconds so update once a minute, and options for 12/24 format on local and/or Zulu

Needs Always On Setting. Somewhat nice app. I use it for logging ham radio contacts and need to glance at it often. It needs to be always on when I’m operating. I imagine other users may need to use it in a way where it needs to be always on. It’s a real pain in the neck to always have to go into the general settings of your mobile device to change the Lock Screen to “never” when starting the app, then change it back when finished using it. I have an alarm clock app that has such a setting and can stay on all night. It should be quite easy to add a setting or option for this in the app. Otherwise, this would be a five star app.

Excellent APP, uninstall and reinstall new version!. I love this App, but must say that the complication on the watch was not updating. I read the developer’s response to a user comment about the same. I decided to uninstall the app on my iPhone which uninstalled it form the watch, and then subsequently reinstalled. This fixed the problem. The complication now always show the current Zulu time without having to tap it. Hope this helps someone!

Very Handy to Have on my Phone. I have a 24 hour clock in my Ham shack, so this goes everywhere with me for quick reference.

Does not show minutes on watch complication. The phone app works fine, and the watch complication shows the current hour in Zulu time. However, it does not show minutes which makes the watch complication too imprecise for things like aviation. Edit: this is due to limitations in the watchOS API.

So useful, simple.. I have set my mechanical watches to this for the last few years. It’s simple. It works well. It’s easy to read. Love it!!!!

Needs complications!. This app is great, except it doesn’t have the one thing I needed and purchased it for: complications! See, Apple already lets you see UTC time and even includes it as a complication. But in order to see UTC or “Zulu” time in 24 hour time mode, you have to switch the entire clock to 24 hour mode. What I need to do is be able to see local time in 12 hour mode but Zulu time in 24 hour mode as a complication on the same watch face! It’s so frustrating that neither Apple includes a way to do this, and developers haven’t come up with UTC time app that has complications! And if they did, I would imagine they would inadvertently make it so that the 12/24 hour system setting dictates whether the complication displays in 12 hour or 24 hour mode, which would put me back at square one. Please make a complication for this app, and leave the time in 24 hour mode or make it an adjustable setting and not based on the system clock. Thank you!

Local time not displaying correctly on widget. Local time is not displaying properly on the widget. Inside the app show the correct time, the widget show 2 hours earlier. Worked fine before iOS upgrade to 16.4. support website doesn’t seem to work.

Love this app. Please fix the widget local time not matching the real time. Only on the small widget do you get this issue. widgets are the future!

Complication not updating. Zulu time displays properly on the phone, but it doesn’t update properly in the watch complication. If you change complications, and then go back to the Zulu complication it show correct time, but eventually it stops updating. Needs to be fixed!

Valuable tool. I’m an Airline Pilot. All aviation weather and many other related reports are based on Zulu time. Using this app versus trying to convert local to Zulu manually is a great time saver for me.

Perfect. Got this for the widget feature so I can easily glance at Zulu time while in the cockpit. Works great - well worth the few pennies!

Good for aviation. Very useful for aviators. Sometimes the conversion to/from local along with 24 hour time can get confusing with everything else going on. While not fond of the new Apple Watch widgets in general this app would be a good use since all relevant info could be displayed in the widget without accessing the app.

This is a great app. It does what I need to simplify time markers with the added bonus of no data collection! Well worth .99 cents

Widget. I love the app when flying but would love a widget to put on the title screen in order to make position reports and quick references when planning!

Swapped. Hi love to app very useful. Only complaint is on the Apple Watch you swapped the placement of ZuluTime. On my iPhone it displays Zulu above local time in dashboard it’s the same but when I open the app on Apple Watch it’s local time on top and Zulu below after the update. Please update so it’s Zulu above local time like it was and matches the iPhone app. Please. *update: Thank you Derek for listening to your customers and updating and making fixes to your app in a timely manner. Love your app very useful.

complication doesn’t show time all the time..?. I love the app and using the complication on my iwatch but part of the day It does not show the time. I think it has to do with the font. I hope you can fix it. it seems to involve the zero and two. it seems to show all the times that begin with a one. Thanks for looking into it.

Widget on watch face doesn’t update. I can’t ever get the small widget on the infograph modular watch face to show the right time. For example it says 17Z now but when I tap it, it shows the correct Zulu time of 20:13. This is an Apple Watch 4 and an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.3. Watch os is 6.1.1. Support page has no “submit” or send button or I’d have sent this information privately rather than through a review.

Great little app. Does exactly what it should and does it well. This developer is responsive and has knocked it out of the park. Very pleased! Great app!

Widget Doesn’t Update. The app is great, almost. The widget does not update the local time. When pressed to open the app, the local time displays correctly, but not on the Home Screen via the widget itself. Derek thanks for reaching out but the links to contact you directly are broken (Not Found message). On the widget the local time remains in the previous time zone I was in. It doesn’t update if I just switch in and out of Airplane Mode. If I restart my phone the local time will update. Again, even if the widget doesn’t update, if I open the app the local time is correct. This is only an issue with the local time. Zulu time is correct. I’m running Version 3.5 on iPhone 8 iOS 14.2. Hope this helps.

About time. A must have for every pilot - easily plan your times and have ZuluTime do the conversion work for you. Great app!

Works without issues.. I use for flight plans. It works great and adjust perfectly for DST.

Useful clock for radio operators. I am an amateur radio operator and this clock is handy to have in my station.

Needs to show time on app icon. Needs to show Zulu time on app icon, without having to open the app.

iWatch Complication Still Shows Hours Only. An older review noted that the iWatch complication show only 22Z (for example) instead of full hours and minutes (like 2215Z, for example). The developer response indicated that this was fixed, which is why I purchased the app. I may be doing something wrong, but I can not get the iWatch complication to show more than just hours in Zulu time.

ZuluTime app works w/o frills. Been using this app for about a year. I have added time zones for where friends are around the world. The app is not bloated with unnecessary frills. It’s simple and effective.

Watch complication doesn’t update randomly. Same issue as a few years ago. The watch complication isn’t updating randomly(?). Have to tap into it to get it to update. iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.1.1 & Series 8 Watch with watchOS 10.1.1.

Awesome App!. Now I can convert time zones to Zulu time in a snap. It has a very nice and intuitive interface. The only thing I wish it had was another button at the bottom that showed you a US map with time zone divisions to show which time zone each state is in.

Apple Watch Complications. This app is extremely useful for me. However, what would improve its experience for me would be the addition of complications for the Apple Watch so that the offset time you set in the app can be displayed on the watch face. Other than that, it’s great!

Best ZuluTime app. Been using this app for years. Great for when you are on vacation or need to make a call to a foreign country.

iWatch. I like the app and use it when flying. It would be great if the compilation would show the actual Zulu hour without having to tap on the app on my iWatch to see the actual Zulu time. It always shows “22Z”. Not a big deal, but just one more step when things get busy in the cockpit. It came in super handy for a flight recently though when ATC asked for a position report when I wasn’t in a radar environment. I tapped on the compilation and gave them position info with Zulu times. Also great for confirming TAF’s, METAR’s and ATIS info that are all done in Zulu time.

Zulu Time. If one does celestial navigation with a sextant, one needs accurate time at the Greenwich meridian in order to determine longitude.

Simple and to the point!. Very simple and straightforward.. the way I like it!! This may be a silly question and excuse my newness to the Apple Watch, but can I set your app as one of my watch faces or do I have to launch the app every time from my watch?

Good Time Reference Tool. The is a good and very useful tool. It would be Great if I could choose to represent local time zone time in the AM/PM format and another time zone in the 24 hour format simultaneously.

Difficult to set with Daylight Saving Time. Downloaded it, tried to set the offset, put in the -4 hours I needed and app kept defaulting to -5 hours. Probably an excellent app when DST is not in place.

Disappointed - Beware. In my Apple7 I applied this app only to discover it does not readily display the actual ZULU time in the display of my watch. What it shows is “21Z Zulu time”. Well, that’s not really helpful for me at all. I have to push the stem in to change the display to the actual ZULU time, in hours and minutes with seconds. Not a time or “hand use saver” nor “attention saver”. It takes more than simply gazing at the watchface and scanning it in one eye movement to gain the needed information. Granted, I’m not a pilot. But, as a licensed shortwave operator, There are times multiple calls are incoming as fast or faster than I can document them . I just want the real time.

Loss of time. Having problems on my Apple Watch. Every two or three day Z time looses its time and gradually reverts to local time? I have to reset Z time each time thru the iPhone app to get Z time back on my watch. Is this a common problem? Please help Tried to contact support wrote the above and there is no way to send comment? Please fix loss of time on Apple Watch. It’s been several months now since you said you would look into it.

Uncluttered and very useful. Great app! I would love to see, however, the addition of the day of year in the display. We use this extensively where I work.

Helps pilots. As a trainee student pilot myself I always struggle with reading a clock like the normal ones I’m young guys, but this one takes the work for you and gives it to you effortless. Worth every 99 pennies

Simple yet useful.. I’m a pilot and also a sailor. This is exactly what I was looking for. No more fussing around while filling a flight plan or when looking up metars. A must have for guys like me.

Time is relative. As an overseas pilot, I find this app extremely useful. It's got easy to read digits and all kinds of options for time zone selection - you can't go wrong getting this app.

Nice app! Great looking interface.. Adding second time zone a little awkward with the listing by geo zones. But UI looks great and otherwise very easy to setup.

Great app. Great app. Improvements: Was wondering if you could make an actual clock when setting the Zulu time for a later time. That’ll look super nice. Also I preferred my pre iOS 14 widget and how simple and small it looked. You could maybe give the options between choosing either or make the black rounded square the same size how they were before this update. Thanks!!!

Simple and Effective. I am a general aviation pilot and this simple app is very powerful as it helps me with flight planning when reading METARs and TAFs on the ground. Also when flying IFR and making my radio calls it makes calling out Zulu time (while seeing and being aware the relative local time) error free and simple.

Valuable Tool. I work in the military where we use GMT all the time. This app is an excellent way to keep track of it.

Use it all the time for work and radio nets. I interface with groups who use Zulu time at work and on radio nets and it gets the job done, especially for nationwide work.

Zulu Time works!. This app makes it so much easier to confirm Zulu time. Excellent App. Running iPhone 5s, no issues what so ever! Time is off a very small percentage of a second from WWV but micro seconds I can deal with. Love the other features also, easy to use.

Great Zulu Clock!!!. This was a well worth $.99 spent! Better than wasting $.99 on Candy Crush! The clock set its self up based on my location, and I'm somewhere very unusual! Somehow, it gave me the exact settings that I needed! This clock rocks!

Just the time. Pure and simple.. Great ap! With great visibility, seconds display, and a simple interface, this is perfect for setting clocks (which is all I want to do with it!)

Handy app but.... Nice to have the accurate Zulu time with a tap on the iPhone screen. It would even be better if the actual icon displayed the time to save the extra step, particularly when you are strapped for cockpit resources. Apple can do it it with their calendar why cannot the app do the same.

Good Stuff!. Been a professional military & airline pilot for 38 years. This app is great! With this it I don't need to wear a dual-time watch, I can wear a dress or casual watch and instantly access Zulu time for flight planning, destination weather forecasts, FIR estimates, whatever. I have it on my phone, my flying iPad, and my personal computer. Works good, lasts a long time, didn't cost much. 😎👍

Wrong time on watch. It consistently is hours behind on the Apple Watch until I tap on it, I cannot rely on it and will be uninstalling it. Just purchased yesterday.

Does not come with watch face. I bought this app specifically for the watch face pictured. And it’s nowhere to be found.

Love it!!! One suggestion. Love this App. Any pilot would love this; our flight department is getting iPads and I am having them install it. It is the only good Zulu time app out there that I can find, plus it displays the date for the other locations. My only suggestion would be to allow more time zones to be added, either in another page or smaller on the same page; this way we could keep our entire flight plan of locations on it. I know it's free and appreciate that, but I think most of us pilots would pay for an app like this that met all of our needs. At least I know I would. Thanks!!!!!

One of the best. Zulu time does exactly what it should, without bells and whistles. When the rare update occurs, it truly enhances the app. 10 stars.

Easy to use. Very easy to use and read

Excellent. The app works as advertised and the display and graphics are excellent. When mirrored on an Apple Air Play (or other device) to a large screen TV it is very readable from across a large room. This app has a lot of versatility with it's display of Zulu time and the ability to choose U.S. time zones and world time zones to display simulteanously with Zulu time. Users are also able to display Zulu time forward and backward of current time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this app if you need a useable and graphically driven method to track multiple time zones.

Complication freezes. Complication works for roughly a day after a reboot, then freezes. Selecting the complication shows the correct Zulu time, but when you return to the watch face, the complication is still frozen.

Apple Watch face gallery. Is it not possible to make this into a face gallery on the Apple Watch?

Outstanding. Okay, so I wanted to leave a review but a "pre-filled" or "pre written" message was in place before I can type anything. BOO This is insulting. The app works and does as advertised. My problem is the pre-filled message before I could as if I couldn't write a review.

very useful. i can’t give it 5 stars because of a glitch- mountain time is displayed as the same as pacific time. this would only be accurate in arizona which doesn’t keep dst. otherwise a great app.

Keeps Me Straight. With global conference calls, I am constantly getting confused with time. Are you ahead of me, are you behind me? Now we met at x:xx Zulu time, gmt or utc. At a glance, I can see when we are meeting. Great app. Use it on my iPhone and iPad.

Zulu Time- very useful. I find myself needing to reference different time zones and find this app very useful for doing so. At the 99 cent cost the app is well worth it.

Zulu wherever I am. Handy app for mobile HAM. It is also great for keeping the watch exact.

Excellent application, huge battery drain. I tend to leave this application running in the background and have found that it drains my battery after approximately 7 to 8 hours. Otherwise, this is an excellent application and I use it regularly as a ham radio operator.
