Trivago. I really like this app it has helped me tremendously pick out hotels that I need in the areas I am going it helps me keep from picking a bad hotel and wasting my money. It also helps me get a good deal on the hotel price.

Everything but convenient payment at end. Why have an app tied to a device that stores payment method you cannot select from in the app? It is July 2019. Finding good was ok, but then a countdown makes you feel you might lose it, then you have to manually enter your card #. Let’s update the app for convenience:)

Ambiguous and deceptive. First time using the app, booked a room that I needed for that night (7-13). Got a confirmation letter from the hotel for a reservation 30 days away. I called the hotel directly and was told they couldn’t cancel or refund my incorrect reservation and I was to call Trivago for help. Since there is NO PHONE NUMBER for customer assistance I emailed Trivago and after 9 emails and 3 days I still have no resolution. Trivago is pointing the finger at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn is pointing the finger at Trivago. Very frustrating to say the least. Stay away from these thieves. I’m sorry I gave them a chance. Never again.

Fast and easy…. Before I found Trivago, I was frustrated. Spent hours and hours and came up with no results, and 6 pages of notes. nothing that we liked. There maps were off or difficult to read, the others you couldn’t even see the Parthenon or where the Spanish steps were in Rome. Then I tried Trivago ….best map….easy to set up filters…easy to see rooms, loved the tags of prices on the map…could see where Parthenon is and Trevi fountain… booked a hotel…thank you

Like the search, hate the waste of screen space. The latest version of the app keeps the large search criteria box open and blocking a lot of the screen near the top, very annoying and distracting. Bad on the iPad Pro, terrible on the iPad. The little map button at the bottom is annoying too. Get them both of the results screen, make them slide up or sideways, or put in a thin menu bar they can drop down from when called upon. They do not need to be on the screen the entire time you are scrolling thru all the results.

Glen Iris Inn. Our very small room was on the third floor and the air conditioning didn’t work. It was a hot day, mid 90’s. It was oppressive. The tower fan blew all night. I used wet washcloths to cool down. They weren’t able to change our room since they were at full capacity. No mention there was no air conditioning when I made the reservation. The grounds are poorly kept, weeds growing taller than plantings. The waitresses were not well trained. Please, management, train your staff! We had to ask for everything, like cocktail napkins and please light the table candle. The place is poorly managed and could be a dreamy destination. Our dinner table was bare. No tableware, candle never lit, no flowers. It was a sea of brown bare tables with no life in the room. Our dinner was mediocre. We will never stay here again. I hope they follow through with a reduced charge for the room. The waterfall and walkways are stunning examples of nature and engineering. Worth a drive to see it. Stay somewhere else.

Filtering. Turn logo has a good side overall but when it comes to the filtering, there should be an option to put just the city that you want and not the surrounding areas. Example: when searching for a hotel in Manhattan New York, it keeps giving me hotels in New Jersey and I don’t want New Jersey. I just wanna know what’s in Manhattan area of New York Alice

Close!. Booked a room with two queen beds through the Trivago app. Took me to Expedia. I put in two adults, and three children, and there were the two queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was mentioned two places in the description, under the “two queen beds” room. No sofa bed. Desk clerk: You did get the correct room. Only our king bed rooms have sofa beds. I have to admit it. They got me. I thought the two references to the sofa bed meant that I’d have a sofa bed. Booking through the Trivago app left me with no email, no record (within the app itself), and no evidence on Expedia.

They lie, do not use Trivago!. I am planning a trip for my wife in I in downtown Austin. I usually use Priceline but after seeing a recent commercial multiple times about how Trivago finds you a cheaper deals than normal sites I decided to give it a try. I entered the exact same criteria I used in Priceline and the first hotel that popped us was $63 dollar more per night that priceline, the next was $127 more per night and another was $97 more a night. So no, Trivago doesn’t not give you a better price. They are just hoping that their users just blindly believe them and are too dumb to check for themselves.

Big savings!. We found a nice hotel for three nights for less money than a comparable hotel nearby for only two nights and much more money! Thank you for the bargain!

Very easy to use. I’ve used Trivago several times and find it easy to use and very helpful when you are trying to save money. I don’t stay in motels/hotels often - but use Trivago when I am staying out of town!

Sometimes good sometimes not. I was placing a hotel order for a hotel in my area, and when i found what I wanted and I clicked on the listing, the listing gave me the amount and I placed the order... PROBLEM: when I go over my reservation, the hotel showed up in another state even though I ordered the correct listing for my area. I had to call the hotel directly and report the problem. And then I had to call Expedia because trivago gave me a listing by Expedia and so I had to get a refund for the reservation because it was in another state which I never requested. The app is NOT always reliable. Always double check your listing has the correct address, not only in the search listing but also at the time of payment.

False information. Don't trust Trivago! They obviously don't make any effort to make sure the information they provide is even remotely true. When you're on the road, and need to find a place to rest for the night, use another app. This one is crap. The name and address were correct, but they put up pictures of a completely different hotel. They show rooms, bathrooms, and lobby completely renovated. They put language right up front that there have been no recent negative reviews for the property. Then they highlighted a bunch of reviews saying things like: "very clean and modern," " the hotel is only 1 year old," and "really nice and clean," but after we booked non-refundable, we arrived to a dirty, worn out hotel with broken furniture and creaky beds with springs barely contained by the thin sheets. The elevator was out & several of the fire doors were busted: super safe for our young family. The towels and wash cloths are falling apart, and "non-smoking room" apparently means they sprayed Febreeze, or more likely, some watered-down off brand air freshener.

Trivago. I travel an average of 300 days a year with my work. I used to use a half a dozen different apps for rooms etc. Trivago has saved me so much time and money with the ease of going to one app only now. Thanks Trivago

Easy process. Looked up hotels checked other sites came back and was finished in under 5 minutes

Perfect. Trivago makes it easy to locate all the hotels in the area your searching. Their site allows travelers to seek what they are looking for and book the hotel they want for the night at a very reasonable price.

Poor business. Very unhappy with Trivago. My reservation was made, my credit card was charged and I needed to make a change. Can’t reach the third party company m, Algotel, to make the change. I never received a confirmation email so I am out $160 . I’ve spent more time trying to communicate but the layers of communication are ridiculous! Never again!

It won’t give me the right location. I clicked on a hotel and it gives me one in a completely different town. ?? It says the correct address at the bottom but where you pick the room says a totally different address. It looks like this would be a good app. But I can’t use it because of this problem.

Best. I have tried all the hotel find apps for our corporate needs and trivago works the best and has the best deals hands down. This app is a one stop shop for our corporation from now on. Very satisfied.

Uncancelable. I give Trivago a one star because you can’t give them a zero or less. I booked a hotel through them and tried to cancel due to the COVID 19 pandemic. They said they can’t cancel and I had to cancel through another site called Cancelon. Cancelon would not answer the phone and the system puts you on hold for 60 minutes prior to hanging up on you. This attempt was made 4 times with the same outcome. I ended up disputing through the credit card company and Trivago recharged me stating I did not cancel in time. If they answered their phone calls I would have been well within the time frame. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

Easy and cheap. Very easy to use and got s great deal. I booked 3 months out because I tried same venue last month but all good deals were gone. I paid less for 8 days than I usually pay for one night. So easy and easy no cost cancellation too.

Trying to cancel the reservation. I Called the number they provide to cancel my reservation Expedia clerk told me I couldn’t do it and I was going to get charge the 2 night anyways. He told me that was the hotel police. Well I end it up traveling and staying at the hotel since we were going to get charged but I went ahead and ask the front desk lady about their police and she told me that trivago is the one that will charge the two night if I would call the hotel directly and make reservation with them without getting trivago involved they will be able to canceled for me at no charge but since I did my reservation thru them They couldn’t help. 😵 I’m getting erasing the app after finishing this.. from now on I will call the hotel directly....

Hosts fraudulent travel companies. We booked 3 hotel rooms and the company Hotel Quickly then secretly cancelled the booking the week before the day of the reservation and pocketed the entire payment. They don’t offer refunds because they are a fake company set up to commit fraud. It is shocking that Trivago allows them to operate on their app. The hotel could not help and said Hotel Quickly has scammed them repeatedly. Trivago’s app has virtually no customer support to help with any of this.

Last minute Hotel. Great app! Found a last minute hotel reservation for $100 less than the going rate for top national hotels. Thanks, I’ll keep coming back to this app!

Money. While on the road booked a room for the night. When I got to the hotel realized I booked for the wrong day. Now to try to get my money back. I’m getting the runaround. It’s sad that your site pops up a calendar. That is for a week or two in advance versus the day that you’re trying to book a room for.

Easy to use. I was able to find the room and location in NYC at the price I wanted . The filter section allows you to easily customize your search

Redirects Incorrectly. Click on San Diego, do “map” view, focus down on Mission Beach area, redirects you to LaJolla and show “no results”. Do the same for Mssion Beach, drill down one time, redirects to LaJolla and no results. Worthless app. Just tried Glendale, AZ. Same result. Dbl click down, redirects to Sun City AZ with “no results”. Aaarrrggghhhhh

Reservation. Tried to make a hotel reservation and once I gave payment information I could not locate any type of confirmation. Logged on to your site and it said no stays so I called hotel to see if they had a reservation for me and they also said no. I waited a day and checked again with the same results. I then made other arrangements. Two days later I get a confirmation for a reservation i am not able to cancel so now I have two. I will never recommend this site. I am out almost $260. No way to contact and get a response from anyone.

Not enough information. I usually travel with my pet, therefore I am always looking for a pet friendly hotel. Lately I find that hotels that post themselves a pet friendly places, charge more than a second person for my pet and on top of that if my pet is over twenty lbs. he is not allowed at all inside the hotel. Booking should post this restrictions on their app as to avoid making reservations at these places.

The right time. I’m glad I saw trivago, they try to the accommodate what’s best for you an your family an there’s variety’s. You get to choose an if you can’t find a place convenient there’s always a next. Just plan ahead an trivago will help out

Marine Morris. Extremely easy to use and I like that, nobody needs to be checking out places then after several minutes one finds out there are hidden fees and charges, or you end up with nothing like you wanted, like I said, on the road nobody needed a hassle.

Even the staff can’t believe the savings I get!. I was able to get 2 nights at a nice hotel in a 2 person suite with a whirlpool bath for a price that even the worker who checked me in was surprised at the price. Use this app to find some of the best deals for hotels and amazing prices. I could not be happier with this app.

Great when get past some bugs. If used in a certain way, it is very frustrating (see below). However, if you don't use it that way, or know how to get past it, it is a very useful app for the visual hotel ratings alone. My only wish for enhancements would be for it to take Apple Pay and consolidate a payment, so I would not have to create accounts on a bunch of different sites. ---- past review ---- BUG: if you use the "map" to define your search area, and it is zoomed out about 20 miles across, then go to "list", and change sort to "price", it messes up their SQL and includes motels from hundreds of miles away. In addition after that happens, if you use zip codes starting with "0" like those in Massachusetts, it will search SPAIN. Once it gets confused, you need to kill the program and start over. KLUGE TO GET AROUND THEIR BUG: Zoom map in to search about 5 miles and do the same procedure and you will get a list of local hotels sorted by price. You just need to repeat the process afew times to search a larger area.

Hideous password criteria. Where do these apps come up with such ridiculous password requirements? 12 characters? The most a password needs to be for an app like this is eight characters! Get in the Flippin real world! I won't be using this app that's for sure! Update! Just heard from the developer that basically said they take security very seriously and had no interest in even addressing the concern I expressed. Typical arrogance of a lot of tech companies. Think they know better than their customers. For heaven sake's this is a hotel search engine! It's not my bank account! Even my Chase bank account password is a normal 8 digit password. Travelocity, Priceline and others do just fine with 8 digit passwords that don't require a PhD to encrypt! Like I said. They won't be getting my business. When will companies ever learn to listen to their customers?

Love the Map Feature. I really enjoy the map feature. It allows me to find the perfect balance between price and location. Sometimes, by going a little beyond my target area, I can find an even better rate that justifies the extra distance. Brilliant!!

Don’t use!!. I had chosen a certain hotel, and when I received my confirmation e-mail, it was a completely different hotel! Not only that, but when I called that hotel, they didn’t even have the room type I reserved, so I would’ve had to pay way more to the hotel to get the actual room I reserved. I am disgusted. Never again.

False advertisement!!!. This company completely lacks moral integrity and concern for their customers. I am writing this on a drive home from out of state after a hotel room that I booked at the Omni Providence Hotel through Trivago was not available when I arrived at the hotel. It was OVERSOLD - ie I paid for a room that was not available. This is OUTRAGEOUS and WRONG, and I am in shock that this company offers such lies included in their business model. I will NEVER be using Trivago again, and I recommend everyone stay away from this scam. And to top it off, they do not even answer their customer service line!!! I am having to put a stop payment on this because no one will speak to me from this scam of a company to refund my money. WORST APP EVER.

Not Happy. This is the first time I’ve used this ap. Won’t do it again. Just pulled in to my hotel. No one told me that it is undergoing extensive renovation. The front entryway is blocked by workers and their vehicles. Elevator is not working - maybe it will later as someone is on the way over to fix it. $140 a night (with taxes). Very unhappy! Now I’m really worried! Both of the nicknames I entered (part of each was ‘unhappy’) are taken. Is this a sign?

Never Again!. They booked a room for us and charged $270 to my debt card. We arrived at the Hotel to find that there wasn’t a room available after all. I checked my account and there were two charges for $270 each! We called Trivago. They said we’d get our money back in 7 to 10 days. We still haven’t gotten it. This is theft and I’m going to file a complaint about Trivago with our bank and/or lawyer. On top of that we had to deal with a non-English speaking person. I asked 6 times if I could speak to someone who spoke English. The women didn’t seem to understand me and completely ignored my request. I would strongly recommend against Trivago unless you like paying for a room you never stayed in. I gave them one star only because zero was not an option.

The perfect hotel. Stayed at a zen hotel, in Manila,did all booking on trivago, I’ve travelled all over the world , but this hotel , may not have been rated 5 star , but the experience we had was 5 STAR

My go to site. Trivago is my go to site when looking for accommodation. Easy to use and the map option allows me to plan my stays knowing exactly where I am.

Beware different currencies and “partners”. Was quoted $112 for a night in a hotel in Sydney . Since I was using Trivago in Australia, I assumed the price through “Priceline” was in Aussie dollars. Turns out it was in American dollars and not until after you pay does this become apparent. $112 Australian = $172 American! Secondly, Priceline

Location Location. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff welcoming and helpful and the location was great. The trams were directly outside and just a short walk away was High Street where there was an abundance of wonderful cafes

Diverted from Trivago Site - Not as advertised. Booked a room, got charged immediately from the website I was diverted to, got emailed from the place I booked saying there is one queen bed for my 4 person booking only. Asked for refund.

Brilliant Site. This has always helped us with our trips away to find the best price/value for money.

Fix search option. Please fix your search feature. When I list the exact name and location of a hotel, I get everything else but not what I am searching for. This is so frustrating and needs to fixed otherwise delete the search feature as it is no use.

Not happy. I book a hotel room through this app while making payments it directed me to Algotels I got a confirmation email however when arrived to the hotel they didn’t recognise the booking number and they didn’t have my name I had to make another payment to book another room and I have trying to contact them but none to answer my questions

WOW What a Failure Thanks for the Letdown Trivago. Stayed at the long Jetty Motel for Thursday and Friday Nights booked with Trivago ... Never again ... my poor wife is a Trouper here is my review We rang Trivago and informed them that the room. I requested be a room that would cater to a severely disabled adublt occupant and my career. I an either wheel chair bound or bed bound, I was assured that the room would cater to our needs over the phone. On arrival we immediately ngoticed the 3 inch step up / hob into the room almost impossible to get a 250 kg Electronic wheelchair into the room but we did it with a lot of blood, sweat and swearing from my career a petite 51 year old nurse whom is also my wife .... so we are now into the room and the legs of hydro/Electric hoist that cranes me from the chair into the bed does not fit under the bed .... so again with 4 pillows, to lift the bed and again effort, sweat and swearing fi managed to get into the bed .. . Which is where I got to stay for the entirety of our two night three day stay on the central coast, no coffee shops, window shopping for me as there was a no refund policy with the Trfivaggo booking .... so thanks for nothing Trivago we will not be using your Services again in the near .... hold on NEVER !!! ... 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 It’s hard enough being severally disabled but this just rubs it into your face ...

Trivago allow scamming websites on their booking system. I recently booked through trivago only to find out it was a total scam. We had put in our search criteria found the hotel we would like to stay at viewed the deal paid for and completed our booking. We soon came to find out the booking special that was found on trivago page is actually a scam and had taken $2,400 of my money and also the same for a family member. Trivago needs to know who their suppliers/booking websites are and should have better screening process of who they actual recommend on the booking page. Never book with BARGAIN BOOKINGS they are fraud. I have reported this, trivago are no help and keep advising to contact the support LOOOLL they are scammers you dumb asses!!

Prices Misleading. After being redirected to the site with the ‘best deal’ the actual prices are much higher than the ones quoted on Trivago. It’s not surprising they were fined huge amounts by the ACCC.

Really bad ., I booked on this app and the money was taken straight away ., been over2 days still no confirmation off booking ., wouldn’t advise to book on this ..,, Disappointed in this and put me through much hassle as I was uncertain about my bookings.. especially when your abroad and have no access to things ..

It just works. I’ve used it both within and outside Australia and so far it has done what it says....and that’s ok with me.

Wrong hotel location. I book a room from this app. It shows the hotel is at Apollo Bay, Victory,Australia. While after i paid, I got an email confirmation. It shows the hotel address actually is in NSW, an other state in Australia, and I can't cancel it immediately.

Do not want Trivago to track me on other apps but won’t let you NOT accept it - bye bye a Trivago. Trying to book accommodation but it pops up that it will track my other apps and it will not allow you to past with out accepting it … I do not want them to track anything I do other then in Trivago!

Unable to contact. Recently booked a motel room in Tamworth, Tamworth Central Motel, received email to confirm my booking, on arrival at motel was told that I had no booking and had to pay for another motel. I tried to contact Agoda and Travago but this is not possible. Lost my money. Also the manager at the Tamworth Central Motel was of no assistance at all, his comment was that this has happened a few times lately to which I asked has he contacted his service provider, his reply “not his job”. Not happy with Agoda or Travago, need to be able to contact if there is a problem!!!!

No bookings, but payments go through.. Have been trying to book a room (on Agoda). Everything stops after paying PayPal. No booking info on my account. Just my account balance has been getting decreased and it's no longer enough to even try it again.

Great App but why the stupid questions?. I use the app a fair bit and find it very serviceable. One thing that is extremely annoying (loss of 2 stars!) is the stupid follow up questions. Tonight I posted a review for a fantastic restaurant and every follow up question was about disabled access - like ‘does the bathroom have height adjusted basins’!! I am not disabled and I couldn’t answer one of the questions. If you have to follow up here’s a suggestion ask about the food or the service or the location!

Payment taken 3 times and currency not Australian. Booked one nights accommodation through here and the payments been taken out 3 times and not in Australian dollars! It would have been cheaper to book direct with the hotel so not impressed!

Not working. This app constantly crashes or doesn’t open. Have deleted and reinstalled again, it worked once, then wouldn’t open! More bug fixes needed !!!!!

Don’t get scammed,. We booked a hotel with trivago about a year ago. We booked about 4months in advance. I called the hotel itself to see if I could upgrade my room to a king and they had no record of my reservation. After speaking to the manager I found out that my reservation was cancelled by the service which made the reservation in the first place. I contacted trivago and they said they are not liable and gave me the number of a third party that they booked it through. That third party was no longer in business. I then found out that the reservation was booked through another service through the third party. That service was based overseas. I tried contacting them only to find out that they too were no longer in business. The hotel or trivago wouldn’t do anything for me. Another hotel in the area sympathized with my situation and opened up a room for us that they usually kept closed as a back up room. When we got there the front desk person told us horror stories about people booking through trivago for overseas destinations and not being about to get a room. Imagine flying the family overseas to a strange country to find out that the hotel has no record of your reservation??? I’m lucky I called to try and upgrade my room or we would have been sleeping in the truck for two nights. I only use trivago to get the prices then I call the hotel itself to book. 9/10 times they honour the trivago price and my reservation is always on file when we arrive.

Issues. Just been giving me issues trying to get a room. This should not be so difficult. Tells me there are two rooms available. I go to book it then tells me its having problems processing my payment. I re book - then it tells me the rooms are gone. Then I re book well now there is a price increase. So I try again and took me around in circles.. finally got a room in a not so desirable motel.

App crash. App keeps crashing repeatedly

Advertisements are a lie!. Searched on this app for the same hotel then tried bookings.com. Guess what this app was way more expensive! What a untrustworthy joke.

De l’arnaque!!!!!!!. Ce n’est pas du tout l’hôtel en question. L’hôtel est désuet, pas de de piscine, et surtout, ce n’est pas un Ramada, mais un Quality Inn!!!!! Tout est vraiment a lever le cœur ici….. Vraiment mécontente puisque nous sommes arrivés plus tard en soirée et que nous ne pouvions pas avoir de remboursement. Quand tu quittes le Québec pour une viré entre filles en espérant relaxer sur le bord de la piscine, c’est vraiment pas plaisant…. Enlever cette hôtel de votre site!!!

Hotel Le Navigateur Rimouski. Ne coucher pas au 4e de cet hôtel. Le 13 septembre 2022, je séjournais à la chambre 415. En résumé, pas dormi de la nuit dû à un problème connu dans la ventilation. À 1:30 AM, aucune possibilité de changer de chambre et le lendemain, pas d'empathie d'Édith C. une directrice quelqueconque. Aucun remboursement, aucun retour d'appel de la direction, je ne retournerai plus à cet hôtel.

Always put Expedia first. The app will put Expedia first in the list no matter what, even when more expensive. Kind of defeat the purpose.

Service à la clientèle ZÉRO. Nous avons réservé tout nos hôtel pendant plus d’un mois avec eux, pour la dernière on a décidé de louer avec Agoda home, ça nous indiquais un lieu approximatif/quartier/distance du métro etc... Une fois réservé ET payé 250$, le lieu était à plus de 3-4 kilomètres du lieu indiqué dans un quartier complètement inintéressant. Nous avons appelé à plusieurs reprise et ils nous disent que nous devions payer car la chambre avait été préparé (nous les avons contacté 2 heures après, dès que nous avons reçu l’adresse exact) qui soit dit en passant était dans un lieu de location illegal. Une fois payé il vous disent que finalement vous allez être dans la ville voisine... incompréhensible et extrêmement frustrant. Aucun remboursement possible.

They scam. If a hotel doesn’t partner and pay trivago, trivago posts them as ‘full’ and they get no business. Call the front desk to confirm! Those poor community businesses.

Trivago. Ads show an extremely low room rate and when you click the rate is 4xs that amount.

Beware. This app goes through booking.com for Canadians. This site does not allow cancellations so if you are not sure of your plans don’t use it. Plus both times I used it booking.com didn’t give me an online confirmation. It just said oops something went wrong so I was unsure if I had a room or not. It’s price appear lower than Expedia but Expedia does allow cancellations.

Misleading Prices. For the last couple years I have used Trivago to see if there are deals on hotels where I want to go. They advertise a price but when I select the deal the price takes a drastic increase. Example, Trivago showed me a hotel for $131/night when I select it the price is $232/night, and I am not able to find any offer to the one shown on the map view. I only ask that they show the actual price instead of a made up price that does not exist.

Needs more filters for more efficient searches.. App seems to have too few filters, so it takes a while to find a place with all your needs.

Bad service. I booked a hotel room that was completely cancellationable and when I went to try to cancel, the app kept telling me that this was not able to do online. There’s no number to call, no email, no way to get in touch with real people Agoda. I’m cancelling the app instead

PAY ATTENTION!!!. Pay attention when trivago takes you to outside vendors. Trying to book a room in one city in Michigan took me two listings for rooms in Arizona — and once there, couldn’t get out of the loop! Now everything was in Arizona! Luckily there are LOTS OF OTHER hotel apps!

Amazing Werkend. We spent a whole week at Lagomar. It was amazing the staff was wonderful. The food was great just the best place in Fort Lauderdale You should rent one of their wonderful oceanfront suites.

Tigert OR Hilton Embasay Suites. Very nice stay weee there for a soccer tournament so their were kids all over The place. The staff was friendly and efficient I would have rated it a five except the buffet food was warm not hot. The rooms were great

No indication of savings over other methods. TRIVAGO like most hotel search apps really hasn’t shown any noticeable savings over my other search options. That’s a bit disappointing.

Pleasant. So far, I booked a room in the Manila Philippines very easily, affordable, now I want to see how the hotel stay is, hoping that it meets my standards for happiness.

There are better alternatives. Trivago claims it will get you the hotel you want at the best price. In my experience over the past three years, I always found a better price elsewhere. Sometimes on a hotel website, often on Priceline. Look around and see how you are being fooled.

Completely trash don’t trust it. I planned a holiday trip for my mom and I and they cancelled my reservation! I have emailed them trying to get my money back and they said within 15 days it’s been almost a month and I still haven’t gotten my money back I have tried to email them over and over again and still no idea where my money is

Great Service!. I have used this app on several occasions and had success booking great rooms at great prices with only a few days of notice. Love it!

Not all hotel have pools. Please take a look carefully when booking. I like the booking app but I don’t think is updated. For instance Econolodge in Binghamton doesn’t have a pool anymore and on this app it still shows they do.

Service fee. The app finds you a deal and then when you are about to pay they add the service fee. Which is very annoying. I wish the app just reported exactly the cost with the service fee included.

Among the best food for Lodging. Trivago's presentation of each hotel is concise but effective-there is no reason I have found to use anything but Trivago when looking for hotel rooms in the States !

No Internet Connection. Just downloaded the app and it tells me I have no internet connection. Hmm... I can visually see I have connection and all the other apps on my phone have no problem. I can search on Safari too. Since another app that books hotels has the same prices as Trivago, I'll stick to that app.

Trivago. We have used Trivago in the past year. They have gotten us nice rooms with very good rates. I would try them first, because they are hard to beat.

Traveling for bmx races. This is the first time I have really had to use a search site. I found it to be helpful and was totally satisfied.

Going a different way. I am transitioning away from a lifetime of trailer camping. Trivago makes it so easy to decide where and when to go to various destinations based on rate and availability.

App could use an update. Simple enough to use until you put in filters. Then when you use the map the filters disappear and it shows you everything.

Bad customer service. I booked through trivago for 2020 travel during spring break. I am now trying to cancel due to covid 19 issue. However there is no help from trivago . I am having to work directly with hotel and booking company which is taking long time and delaying the process . Trivago does not even pick phone or answer any email . Horrible customer service .

Changed price at last minute. They changed the price on me in the last 1min when I was booking. Other than that, it was very easy to use and find a deal
