Hulu: Watch TV Shows & Stream the Latest Movies
The applications Hulu: Watch TV Shows & Movies was published
in the category Entertainment on 2010-06-29 and
was developed by Hulu, LLC.
The file size is 85.73 MB.
The current version is 5.8.1 and works well on
10.0 and high ios versions.
Our revamped badging system will help you identify content availability. For example, "New" badges on both live and on-demand shows will point you to the next best episode to watch, whether this is airing right now or if it’s something you missed and it’s now on-demand.
There’s so much to watch and sometimes not enough time. We want to give you as much info as possible with fewer clicks so you can make better choices. Now, whenever you go to the context menu (those three little dots on the corner of a video tile), we are surfacing more details about the show, game or movie.
The player has been extremely buggy. From frozen frames but audio continuing, to audio video desync. I've uninstalled and reinstalled as that usually fixes most of the problems, but this continues to happen again and again. The old player prior to the revamp of the app worked great. This one, not so much.
I absolutely hate this new update. Can't find my watchlist anywhere, and the app is now making you focus on 1 tv show or movie at a time rather than being able to scroll through all your saved stuff more expansively. So dumb. Wish they didn't "fix" what wasn't broken.
I can’t log in. It keeps giving me an error message. I am paying $39.99 a month for NOTHING!!!
I really love the Hulu service. I love getting all the network shows right after they air and some of Hulu’s original stuff is really good. But this iPad app is pretty poor. The new design feels a little claustrophobic. Scrubbing through a video doesn’t show a thumbnail, so we’re scrubbing blind, and they removed picture-in-picture! Why remove picture-in-picture? Is it so hard to imagine that someone would want to do other things while they watched a TV show?
Shows get stuck mid-way through. The audio will continue but the picture freezes and never catches up to the audio.
I can’t fathom why they haven’t listened to feedback yet. They must know the new interface is unusable. I purposefully turned off my iPhone’s auto-update just so I could avoid updating to this terrible new interface in hopes they would fix it before I had to update. However, I was forced to update it when I started having issues and the videos wouldn’t work correctly. It’s to be expected but I am about to cancel my subscription if they don’t do something soon. I can’t easily scroll through shows I watch, just let me look at more than one show at a time. Plus, if I have a new episode, the new icon will go away in only a few days. For the love of god, just make the interface more user friendly please.
Hulu are you even ready ALLLLL the negative feedback and realizing you’re losing customers because the APP DOESN’T WORK?!?!?!? You’ve traded functionality for looks? Like I care what Hulu looks like as long as it WORKS! Looks like I’ll be sticking with Amazon Prime & Netflix..... BYE HULU 👋🏼
I love it but can you add movies such as TeenTitans the Judas contract or TV shows like Young Justice
If I can’t watch something on my phone in this day and age(1st world problems🤦🏽♂️) then what’s the point🤷🏽♂️💯. Either way a 1.8 out of 5 stars on average is horrible rating 👎🏽 for any app 📱. But I see no fixes 🔨 happening or coming anytime soon🕵🏽. Your disrespecting the respect your customers have for you to give them your goods and services🤔... you should feel ashamed 🤣🤣🤣
Just signed up with Hulu and wanted to use on my iPod n iPad. I can use on my Fire stick and DVD player which has the app. I have other apps on my devises and I have no problem with signing on and using the app. I will give more then one star when this app is improved.
Never had any problems until now. The update looks nice and all, but it is useless if it closes the app every time I try to watch my shows. If this is not fixed soon I plan to cancel my subscription.
I don’t like this new update. It is way too easy to move where you are in a show. Even if I accidentally touch my screen, it moves the show from where I’m at and then I have to spend 5 minutes figuring out where I was. 🙄
I’m only twelve years old and I am I love with Hulu. It’s the best video platform out there. It’s cheap I pay for it with my own money. Download it it’s worth it.
The new format is not intuitive, and it’s difficult to find anything through browsing. I also thoroughly dislike the “favorite genres” feature that then only shows me a few things from those genres instead of immediately letting me explore lots of options. If you want to overhaul the look of your app, Hulu, make it simpler, not more complicated.
Normally this is worked great but it seems after the update whenever i try watching something it crashes as soon as I hit the play button.
This is the absolute worst. Take this option off the screen! Super finicky, loves at the slightest provocation. Can’t even swipe up to control to change brightness without it moving my entire show around. I’ve tried watching the same 45 min show for over an hour and I’m not even halfway through. Please get rid of this in a new update.
I’m neither a fat-fingered nor inept user, yet somehow every program I watch there are at least two occurrences of accidentally hitting whatever it is that makes the show jump to where I tapped (rather than doing what I want: pausing, rewinding/advancing 10 seconds, or removing the very persistent grey-out screen). Is this supposed to be a feature? Can I disable it? It’s annoying enough to prompt my first-ever app rating. Blah.
The app is virtually useless for what I need it for. I stream everything from my phone because I’m not in a position to get WiFi set up. I upgraded to watch live hockey games and it won’t interface with my lightning to hdmi at all. Netflix and HBO Now work just fine mirroring onto my tv, it’s just Hulu that’s being a real piece of junk.
I got Hulu after Netflix got rid of all HGTV series and I absolutely cannot stand this version, I try to pause the show and it jumps ahead or rewinds. Hulu needs to fix this or at least try or I think I might just get amazon prime as I have heard good reviews about them.
Most of the new updat is fine and it looks amazing, but if i touch the screen to get rid of a smudge or check the time while watching a show it skips so much of the video and i end up having to watch a long add just to get back to where i was. Its real easy to accidentally do. Really annoying.
