Great app. I love the app and use it daily. It's up to date on prices and is FANTASTIC at bringing you up to date news articles on your favorite companies. Also, if you have a large watch list it doesn't freeze up on you when you are researching. The only thing I would add would be "My Portfolio" where it tracks my stocks losses and gains for me so I don't have to sign into my broker account to track it. Great app. Would recommend to anyone interested in and who actively monitors the stock market.

Too many ads for a paid app & weak graphics. I can't believe I wasted $20 on this app. There are other apps with better graphics, the same information and fewer ads available for free. I cannot believe that a comparatively expensive app like this has so many ads! The graphics are poorly designed and the information available is not as broad as I thought it would be. I do not recommend this app.

Another great update! Developer listened to my feedback.. I use this app every day on my iPad, iPhone and Mac. I requested sync between devices and they just added it in the latest free update. It works great, thanks! Please add portfolio value tracking next update!

Great Program. I have been using StockSpy HD for several months. As a dividend and income investor I am always on the lookout for research tools that assist when evaluating potential modifications or additions to my portfolio. StockSpy HD is a superior program and has become my primary go to app for getting a quick overview of a stock. The program also offers excellent links for deeper research. I am very favorably impressed with StockSpy HD.

Not helpful for me. Should have read more about the details. I wanted a program that would sync my portfolio between my apple devices. This won't even let me create my portfolio at all. Read details carefully folks.

StockSpy HD. Overall the best stock app I've ever bought and I've had about ten of them. However, I do wish the intra-day price change was displayed in a larger font rather than the 4-point font size currently displayed. It's really hard on the eyes... MC

Great news app. This app is excellent for pulling tying all the news reports together. In addition, there is a basic charting feature that is a plus. Definitely worth buying.

Great Tool to Monitor Stocks. I have in built to group various stocks by industry as well as my own own investment lists over various sources like Schwab and Sofi. It is my go to list every morning and throughout the day from my iPad or iPhone. However since I use it to monitor over 100 stocks it requires more than an older iPad. In my case I use the M1 iPad Air to get immediate performance in realtime to monitor the ticker symbols as they change including the directional momentum. The detail graphics on any stock is also very good to give various options to monitor RSI, Volume, and moving averages along with a list of recent articles.

Read it every day!. Excellent app, it's my go to source for news and data on my retirement portfolio. On rare occasions I have found the stock price is slow to update or freezes and I must reboot the app. Still, I think it's the best web crawler out there and well worth the price.

Not enough good app for th price. I expected a lot from this app when I decided to pay $20 for this app. But it was so disappointing that the app was no better then any other free stock app. Also it keeps asking me to download some other app which is very annoying. Not surprising feature, loads of ads, very expensive pricing.... It is a total rip off...

Good, but problems. Starteotreat, but often the edit option stays on “GO” and there’s no way to edit out some stocks in my list. Please fix this asap as I already had to redo my list.

Nice app. This is one of my go-to apps on my iPad. I use it every day and therefore it resides on my home screen while a bunch of other stock market apps are tucked away in a folder on page 2. This is a top-notch app. It's pleasing to the eye, intuitive to use, and robust.

ridiculous price. The app is ok, not something superb, but ok to use. However, the price of 20 dollars is ridiculous, the vender give a high price, try to fool you to think there are something special about the app. It turn out that you can get a lot of free services to do the same things, why pay 20 bucks? Remember, nothing special in the app worth 20 bucks.

Hmm might be worth 9.95 later but not now. The program has potential but: 1. it will take quite some time before "news" evens out. Since it is based on RSS feeds - most news are of course that last few days or weeks. So it will look like you have a LOT of news the last few days and not so much the rest of the year. That will change over time but will take quite a lot of time. 2. You cant zoom in the graph. Either it is daily little graph or the big day-by-day graph. It would be nice with more options. 3. you cant press on any news "bars" on the graph to jump to that specific days news. Now you have to scroll and guess...

Technical indicator, sharing and options. There needs to be more technical indicators. There needs to be a Twitter sharing button for the news feed in the browser. There needs to be an option chain for the stocks. I love the app, but It's lacking some features.

A Great App for Managing your Investments. I use several apps to manage my investments and Stock Spy is one of the best. Whenever I see a big move in a stock I go to Stock Spy and read the latest news stories. It's rare that I would not find the reason on their news list. Great that it keeps track of all my stocks and I can use on any of my devices. Thanks for the great work. I have recommended to all my friends.

Great news aggregator. This is my go to for any news with my stocks. It aggregates data from so many different sources and feeds it to you in practically real time as soon as something publishes.

Best app for getting ALL news for a given stock. My goal - get every possible apple aapl story available anywhere right now. Market dash is ok but misses a lot. This app gets them all and you can add sources as you need. I know every financial app out there, this is the best for my goal, period...KUDOS! To the developer, do wish they would have more 'source' feeds, vs. me figuring out for myself, they starter set is great please expand it!

Keeps getting better!. They just added portfolio trades tracking with cloud sync support! So my portfolio is in sync between all my iOS and Mac devices. This is a really valuable feature to me.

You Need This App. This is a great app. It does everything perfectly. If you invest in stocks, this is the best way I've found to keep track of events that may have an influence on your investment's value. I've found no bugs to date and it works as advertised. The app generates a lot of information about the stocks I follow which I use to make informed decisions when needed. The app is a great tool that will aid you in your decision making process. It's functionality is far superior to something like Google Reader - no comparison! Bottom line, it does what it's supposed to do flawlessly.

Comprehensive Stock Market Application. This is the most complete stock market manager/monitor that I have had the pleasure to use. It's fast, convenient, and it provides lots of customiztion for things like which news feeds you may want to follow. Great application, if a bit pricey. If you are a serious investor, though, it's worth it. If you are just curious about how financial markets are performing, perhaps a cheaper alternative would suit you better.

Good app but bugs in portfolio tracking. Overall it is great app. But portfolio function is full of bugs. If you make a lot of buy and sell it can not handle it. So makes that function completely useless.

Disappointing. I've kept this app through a few upgrades and have been disappointed each time. Issues: * Stability on iOS 8 is woeful * No volume data * Data quality is debatable * Chart display is inflexible Not recommended. Better to choose an app from your broker. It has a better chance.

Needs more work. A good start but needs more work, many of the feed templates do not work correctly for Australian stocks. Also standard feed addresses were not recognized. One component as displayed in the images is completely missing.

One of the best.. Great app for share traders, investors. One of the few apps that charts Australian Stocks. Great visual, very clear charts candlesticks and volume. Has up to date news on stock, however sometimes you need to sift through a number of irrelevant news items if your share code is similar to any US codes. Recommend

Does not handle all feeds. Dissapointed as I couldn't add aus feeds into the iPad as a template works fine as specific feed but too much to add for multiple stocks

Worst Finance App ever.... Give wrong financial data. Worthless Apps...waste money and totally ripped off by charge TWICE one for iPhone version and one for ipad version! I was accidently bought 2 of them

Great tracking tool. Impressive app enjoying a lot being able to put all into categories, track pricing, all updates of any mention o the stock as well as any exchange. Would like to see maybe better format or ipad can take a bit to get use o the accessing of all it has to offer at ease. I haven't tried this on a windows platform and plan on giving it a go while working in remote locations. Support and information when required for your questions are also considered excellent

This app has gone to the dogs. I used to use this app religiously and bought each separate version for my phone, iPad and Desktop (all at additional cost). It used to sync perfectly It doesn’t anymore The developers used to respond to any issues via email quickly. They don’t anymore. Now nothing syncs and, even worse, historical inputs of certain shares are have gone missing or are wrong. I’ve tried removing the app and reinstalling but then the next problem rears its ugly head. If you’ve forgotten your password there doesn’t seem to be any logical way to retrieve or renew it. I’m bitterly disappointed and angry about how this once awesome app, has completely gone to the dogs.

objectional feature. Ties in with Facebook without telling you at the start. This is a misleading and objectional feature of this app. I don't like that kind of attitude of any developer of any app.

What a piece of garbage. Don't be fooled by the works with Canadian data claim. Unless you are a programmer familiar with feeds it is not obvious. Keep your money.

Great app for tracking your portfolio. I have been using Stock Spy for over a year. During that time the app has been nicely modified and improved in response to user suggestions. I have other portfolio software but this is my "go to" app for a quick, efficient update on how my investments are performing. These days the news I get from Stock Spy is pretty bleak, but that's hardly the app's fault ;-)

Wow, what a waste of money!. This app is horrible. Where do I begin? Symbol lookup does not work at all. Searching for Apple or Aapl gives you nothing, as does searching for anything. App always open on the Facebook page for the app and no way to change that. Charts are horrible. They are okay if you are keeping the same stock for 20 years, but other than tiny Yahoo chart large charts are useless - no zooming into specific day, month or year, just overview. No way to see any details or different periods. Yes, you can add RSS feeds, but any half decent news reader can do better. They set the price at $19.95 so that you would think that this is a comprehensive professional app, but what you get is much less than what you get from Yahoo or Google or Bloomberg for free. I will be trying to get my refund from iTunes but if my comment save just one person from making the same mistake, I will be happy. Developers of this app should be ashamed of themselves. Make this app free as you Lite version and then get serious.

Does NOT recognize many Canadian stocks. Pembina Pipelines or Arc Resources are examples, both on the TSX. So their claim is false and I want my money back.

WARNING: This product is TOTAL GARBAGE.. DO NOT TRUST THE "GOOD" REVIEWS, this product is total garbage. Visualize an old website that uses FRAMES. Two frames, one on the left and a big one on the right. On the left is the navigation, which is either a list of your stock picks or news sources or whatever, click one of those and it shows the entire website, such as CNN, in the right frame. DUH! It is so stupid! If I thought it was possible, I would try to get my money back. Just use Safari and bookmark your favourite financial websites and save yourself $20. Frankly, this app borders on criminal. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS APP!

Numbersavvy. This is a great app. Calvin responds quickly to your inquiries and requests! I have it on my iPad and iPhone.

Waste of Money. I purchased the app to follow current stocks etc and the latest updates when viewable were from 2013. Most of the windows were blank screens, asking me to touch to highlight but to no avail. Nothing. Perhaps it'll work in the future with an update but as of right now, a TOTAL WASTE of $22. DO NOT BUY.

Ripped off. This program is a "piece of junk". It froze up within the first 15 minutes of use and I was unable to correct it. I had to delete it to get rid of it. I want my money back!

Perfect for tracking my stocks. I just love this app, as it helps me track my investments and provides up to date news on all the companies I am interested in.

Special Software. I use Three Main Stock programs on my IPad,iPhone etc! This one gives me insight on Trends and Futures! My other stock programs I use for Trading... Love the layout, clarity, keeping it simple but useful! Complexity is in the program ease of use is in the menu!

Garbage. Bloomberg app has more info than this piece of crap. Half of the Canadian stocks don't show up and it's just a glorified google search engine. Save your money.

Responsive support. Encountered some lingering difficulties with price update feature after loss of wi-fi connectivity, but working well now. Appreciate responsive email support.

Farcebook Account Required. For what ever reason a Facebook Account is required to utilize this app this isn't mentioned in the detail on the app page in the app store, so I signed up and now I require a refund as I don't like the implication of being tied to Facebook.

Great app. Quick and easy

Needs Bookmarking. Nice app! I would love to be able to bookmark sites per stock—even if there is no RSS feed. There is a lot of financial sites (StockTA, AmericanBulls, Stockhouse, Stockwatch) that do not have an RSS link but would be nice to be able to add these to your stock feed.

Buggy. Kind of a nice lay out. And a would be convenient app to get news feeds. The touch option on the charts is pretty buggy, and when adding symbols to your list of stocks to watch, the app some times doesn't let you save or cancel the selection leaving you stuck at the one screen and having to restart the app. At the moment it looks like you can only review the charts a few months at a time. No option to look at charts over the period of one or more years. These are just a few of the problems I've found within 5 minutes of purchasing the app. I'll come back and write a better review once these problems get fixed and the app is updated. BUT AT THE MOMENT, the app is very expensive especially for what you're getting. And in my opinion your money is better spent paying extra taxes to the government or bank fees. At least with the government if you figure out that you've over paid you can at least get a refund. Really, not the case here. And with the bank,at least they're honest about ripping you off. Hopefully improvements come soon.

Keep Wanting To Like It. I keep wanting to like this app. It has a nice layout and I can sort stocks into groups. However, the adding, moving and deleting of stocks is very very buggy. Quite often the back button disappears or the done button is displayed out of view. You have to change orientation to get it to show. Quite often I have to force quite the app and start it again. This would be a nice app if it wasn't so buggy.

App crashes in iOS 7. The app used to work great prior to 11/23/15, however, after the last so called "Bug Fixes" update, the App crashes on startup in iOS 7, very disappointing.

Waaaaay overpriced. Piece of crap that I thought was a free demo. I removed it from my iPad thinking that it was a free app. Received a bill for 19.99 from Apple and realized that it was a trick to purchase it. Re-install to warn all to beware. If there was a minus rating, I would give it. There are lots of free apps that would do way more than this one. Consider other free ones before blowing cash on this one
