Persistent Phantom Alerts. I don’t know what’s wrong with this app but I constantly get push notifications for flights that I’ve deleted from my trips. They may have been old flights, canceled trips, etc. but even after deleting them from the app I still get alerts for these flight segments. I’ve even logged in via the website and looked at “my trips” and the flights aren’t showing there either. Until they can fix that glitch this app is a 1-star for me - you need to do one thing guys and do it well. You’ve missed the mark. **update** 3 years later, this is STILL an issue. Get it together already!!!

Always come back. I keep trying different travel apps but none comes close to FlightView. I always come back to it. It’s clear and easy to use. It gives updates of all the info a traveler needs.

Love this app!. From checking on my own flights to keeping track of friends’ flights, this app does not disappoint!

Not supporting app it seems. I have the paid version of flightview plus. I have had it for years. I have had a serious problem with this version for months. I have no map view. I have submitted multiple support tickets over the last few years. I get no responses. No answers. And most importantly, no fix! They have not updated the app in more than seven months. They do not seem to care about those that have supported them and paid them. I am forced to either use the free version and put up with lots of ads, or use the competitions’ apps. Get it together guys or lose another loyal customer.

Suggestion!. I was just wondering if it was possibly for you guys to integrate the website with the phone app via log-in. I spend most of my time on a computer and it would be much easier to update my flights online than on my phone. I use your iphone app every week as I travel to Chicago every weekend and I think it would be in the best interest of many travelers to be able to add and edit flights online as well as the app so that both could sync up. Thanks!

Poor updating. Gate data needs to update quicker. Nearly missed a connecting flight (1 minute to spare) because gate data wasn’t accurate.

Great tracker. I travel a fair amount for work and like to keep my flight info handy. I bought this app and another (higher priced) at the same time to see which was ultimately better. This app wins hands down. The info updates quicker and is much more accurate. It has an easy interface and exporting to the calendar is a snap. If you are trying to choose between this and another Flight Tracker don't waste your time with the other!

Used to work now missing updates to flights. Tripit and FlightAware posted a delay in a KLM flight- 2 hours later flightview plus still showing on time arrival.....

A must have travel app. Just upgraded to the new version 1.2 and used it for my first trip. Continues to impress. A great, user-friendly iPhone app for both the travel and the person playing the "taxi" for visiting travelers. In the times that I've used the app, it's been very accurate and took the worry out of wondering when if my flight was on time. I especially like the ability to group and save multiple flights as a trip, which helps when you have multiple scheduled trips and want to see all the flights in one place. Would recommend to others

Great app w/ HUGE potential!. Terrific new app that will undoubtedly change the way we monitor flights. Although this app tracks flights for the consumer, the program has limitless possibilities in the business sector. I am surprised FlightView has been around this long without being purchased by Google, Apple, Microsoft, etc. The data is awesome, the user interface is really clean and intuitive, and most importantly--its more accurate than the actual airlines and airports. It is only a matter of time before FlightView covers global air traffic. Thanks FlightView for this really innovative app!

Reliable App. That app is one the best out there; I have used three different ones before, but this-this is more accurate also tells you baggage claim.

Watch them come in. Great app. Watch progress from takeoff to landing. See previous flight status of the flights plane to help predict delays. Use it all the time at MCO Orlando.

Latest Update Has Issues. After the latest upgrade map loading is either slow or fails and you cannot delete past trips. You can delete past flights, but the trips remain. The prior version was better.

Excellent flight tracking app. This is my go to flight tracking tool I always check before heading to airport. One suggestion is a push notification for the saved flight schedule changes (delay etc). Currently I need to refresh continuously using the app. Other than that, I love this app. Keep polishing the app!

Suddenly become HOPELESS!!. Again!!??? My second daughter just went to LHR from LAX on VS8, arriving LHR April 1st. As yesterday, when my youngest flew the same route with her school choir and I not only received no arrival notification and the flight page said "no information...call airline" which freaked out my wife and I.... we received no notifications AGAIN regarding arrival status and the flight page announced "past flight" with no arrival info, within an hour of arrival. Once again, your app proved completely unreliable and indeed, fed mis-information! My older daughter is on a college study abroad for two months with multiple flights. I have them all entered into the app. Is every one of those going to feed me incorrect information or no information at all??!! You need to fix this!

This is great!. Totally great ap. I especially like being able to send emailed flight confirmations that I receive from the airlines and have them posted to my trips. Can’t go wrong with this app.

Needs a refresh. I’ve used Flight View for 4 years and it has been a consistent helper and reference for many domestic and international flights. However, to attract new users and keep up with changes in iOS, it really needs a graphic interface refresh.

No Map. Map hasn’t been loading for months now since one of the big updates of the app.

Does not track international flights. The app is great if you are looking to do the basic things like track a flight for today or tomorrow but if you have upcoming trips that you want to put in the app it wont allow you to for more than a month away. Also the app doesn't track some flights for some reason. The flight delay map is cool but it only shows the major airports and does not have the ability to zoom in. All in all worth the price but don't think you are getting something sophisticated. DOES NOT TRACK INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

5 stars. We count on this app to monitor all our guests as they fly to our B&B from all over the world. We rely on it for last minute gate changes, delays, altered arrival times, etc. Monitors all airlines so we don’t bother with multiple airline apps.

What happened?. I used to love this app. Now it will not show the live map. What’s the deal? Can you fix it?

Works great,. This app does exactly what it says it will do. Very reliable and easy to use. Now they just need to create an iPad version.

Great app!. What can I say? It just works and it works great. The information is always there. Find your flight. Track your flight. Instantly become aware of changes. All the information you need in a timely fashion when that’s all you want.

Doesn’t work. I’m sitting in the airport, my flight is delayed, it is past the departure time, yet FlightView shows the status as scheduled. This happens every time I am delayed, so how can I ever trust the information?

Okay. I added the wrong airport to my airport list and there doesn’t seem to be a way to delete it.

Not trustful! Update data very slow and always late!!. Every time when a plane in Europe is late the alert is always more late ....

Email Itineraries Does NOT Work. The best feature of the app was the ability to email itineraries and have them added. That feature has been discounted.

It’s not working. I can’t see the departure or arrivals, I even send an email to the customer support, The email me back they said we have an ‏issue! we will fix it (soon) it’s been over month ago.

So useful. Living in south Florida means we always have lots of family and friends visit during the winter months. We have to make lots of trips to and from the airport. I love this app because it lets me know where the plane is and when it will land so we know when to head to the airport. I’ve used other apps but so far this is my favorite.

Great flight tracking!. Recently took a family trip starting from different airports, arriving different times into the same airport. Flightview helped us track all flights and let us easily know which gates and what times all were arriving. It was terrific getting updates from the app for all flights arriving and departing. ------------------------------- Update: Tracked flights for everyone flying for my sister's wedding. Fog delayed a number of them, but we were always on time for pickup. Plan to use it for the Holidays next. ------------------------------ Update: Recently used the email-your-trip feature for the first time for a trip to NC, and it worked perfectly! ------------------------------- Awesome up-to-date info! Tracked a friend's flight as diverted to another airport quickly and saved me a trip to the airport. Fast update to when her flight was actually arriving, I knew before she did when she was taking off again! She was excited to tell the other passengers. Tracked our flights for our vacation with more accuracy than the airlines we were flying. Easy to navigate and find airline codes needed. Definitely worth it!

What happened? Update isn’t useful. I have use this app for years! I work for the airlines and it’s the greatest app out there… You can track inbound aircraft, everything else… Now they updated it and it’s more difficult to use, and has less information!! Why change it so much when they added features aren’t helpful & just slow it down & make it more difficult.?? So frustrating

Great app. Bad font update.. Great app. Does what it says. The only problem is the most recent update changed the font to a horrible looking one. Need the option to change it. Also would be great if they added dark mode. The new white background can be blinding at night.

Love this flight tracking app. I love having the ability to view flight status information as well as gate information for my saved trips with just one click. In my opinion, this is one of the best flight tracking apps available today. One improvement I might suggest would be the ability to see what restaurants or shops are near your gate. This, or showing a list of shops, services, and restaurants that are in an airport as well as their location.

Love this application!. I love using this application when I travel. It's easy to use and makes it easy to track individual flights. To one of the other posters who gave it a 1-2 star because it didn't have international flights--the description clearly indicates that this app only tracks North America. The one thing that is missing is that I haven't been able to find information on flying altitude and airspeed like a couple other programs already provide.

Do One Thing and Do It Well. I've been using FlightView for years and can very easily enter new flight plans as well as view flight history. Once info is entered it takes two clicks to put the info in my calendar with details exactly as they need to be. My only complaint is the user interface. Using this app on an iPad is just a 1X/2X presentation of the iPhone display. Although nothing fancy is needed sometimes it doesn't translate very well to the iPad.

Simple and powerful. I’ve used this app for years. One of my favorite features is tracking a flight and seeing when it actually lands vs arrives at the gate.

No map. Map not showing

Good but cannot delete or modify trips. I use this app every trip, so definitely good and useful. Basically useful for finding your gate. However, it has a couple flaws. You'd think that you could delete a flight once saved, but no, it's permanent. So if you mistakenly add a flight to your itinerary, it's there forever. Yes, forever, because you cannot delete trips from your list. And when you are looking at all your trips, it does not sort them by date, so you have to scroll through to find the current trip. So I took a star off because I don't think the authors are actually using it for their own trips.

Very Handy. It's great to be able to track flights as easily as you can with this app. My wife travels a lot and it helps to know exactly what time to go to the airport to pick her up. If you travel a lot or have to go to the airport a lot this app is indispensable. Can't understand why there are so many complaints other than user problems. And don't forget that flight delays come from the airline and if they don't post it there isn't anyway for this app to know about it.

Worth the upgrade to elite!. I just started to use this app and quickly upgraded to elite so I could get push notifications for tracking a friend flying in from Europe. All the flights were listed even though I didnt have flight numbers. I'm able to track where they are in flight. What I think I'll like the most is the fact I won't have be concerned about missing changes to a flight leaving me guilt free to do as I wish knowing I'll be updated.

good app but needs to get fixed asap. i have iOS 15.5 in my device and I deleted and reinstalled the app and when you want to track a flight it doesn’t show up where the plane is, the only thing that shows up is a black screen on the map

App force closes. It will not add flight to calendar.. Developers are horrible with responding to feedback. The app force closes when adding a flight to the calendar. This bug started with iOS 11. Subsequent app updates have not fixed this problem.

Fix tracking of international flights!. Nice for tracking local flights however it doesn't track international flights :(.

Great support!. I reported the saving-to-calendar bug only a few days ago and it’s already been fixed! Way to go, FlightView folks - and thanks for a clean, straightforward app that has just the features I need!

Use it regularly!. I like to track our family’s trips using Flightview Plus. It’s nice to have a central location for both current and past trips that we can refer to. Information is accurate and promptly presented. Suggestion for improvement? On the flights page, between the flight number/city and the scheduled arrival/departure lines how about adding “Current local time” so that we aren’t constantly having to calculate it or guess. Awesome app!. This app is great - very easy to look up flights and love the weather on the map! Nice to be able to call the airline from the app when my flight was delayed. Saw one of the last reviews about no international flights on the map - but it says in the app description they don't have them yet.

"no recent info-call airline". I use this app a lot and like it, but recently I see more often the "no recent info-call airline" message, and when I check same flight via flightstats, it always tells me the actual status (usually the flight is in the air). Flightview show the actual status a few minutes before the flight is landing.

Avid iPhone user. Very cool app!! Let's you track the flight by using a variety of methods. It's really helpful if you travel often or are picking up your friends from the airport. I definitely recommend this app.

Awesome. Used to recently track my daughters flight. Indicated a delay she had and approximate departure time. It was right on. Return flight info was let us know when to expect arrival. I liked the flight map feature as it showed the flight progress. I look forward to more future use.

Awsome! Excellent!. Mother-in-law is flying in and I can see where the flight is, what gate, how much time is left, where the plane is at, ground speed & alt, plus see the weather at the airport. Would be great if it actually worked. My BF travels all the time. I bought this because it was more detailed. Problem is it has yet to work. It will show the flight info but it will never update that the flight actually took off. It's like it gets jammed at the "left gate" stage. Websites on my home computer verify that the flight is en route but this app has yet to show that and I've been using it (or trying to use it) for weeks. Please fix!!!!

The best trip site there is!. I've been using FlightView for 6+ months. It's consistently accurate, sometimes more accurate than the flight data posted in the airport! There are so many good points but I think my favorite is the ability to email your trip info just as you received it from the airline and FlightView parses it and loads it to your trip. It's magic! Thanks. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Great travel app. Travel more than I like for business and as much a I can otherwise. I find this app to be accurate and just easy to use. Would definitely recommend. I also like the airport delay map with weather. Very cool, nice job.

Manage multiple flights easily!. I'm picking up multiple relatives on different flights today. It's easy to put in and save each of their flights as a "Trip" and then track all of the flights without having to re-enter the info. The map function works very well.

Shouldn't travel without this app. I fly often for work and this app has never let me down. It's a great tool to keep all of my flight info in one place so I'm not searching through my emails to find confirmation and gate numbers. Also, the real time updates are extremely helpful. This app informed me that my flight was delayed 45 minutes prior to being notified by the airline of the delay. They're on it!

The best. Seriously one if the most useful apps on my phone. Makes traveling home from school 1000x easier. The text message like alerts when your gate changes or flight gets delayed is one of the coolest things ever. Its never been wrong either. Highly recommended for your next trip!

Great app. I was waiting to see if my family would make it home on Boxing Day with a two stage flight. This app kept me informed of what was happening because of the bad weather including projected delays at both airport. I had to close the app but I did get a notification when their flight eventually took off. I was relieved of long waits at my local airport because I knew exactly what was happening. Thank you for a great app!

Good, needs work. The app does a pretty good job of tracking flights. I would love to see a more user friendly interface. The current one is a bit cumbersome and is not very intuitive. It would be nice to look up flights and be able to save them without having to deal with saving it to a trip. The airport delay map is often wrong and does not match the FAA airport delay map. The inbound flight feature is very useful. With a few tweaks this is the best flight tracking app out there.

Must have app for travelers. So very happy with this app. Love the way it aggregates all of your trip information in an easy to comprehend display. Flight info entry is intuitive and simple. Without a doubt the best app I've purchased in a long time. 1 buck for this seems like a steal. Highly recommended!

Works graeat.. Works great. Tracked my daughters flight from France. It did not track her over the ocean, but then again, no other service does either. Searching for a flight was super easy even though I didn't know the flight number.

Works great. I was able to enjoy watching the game in a bar outside of the empty terminal at BWI without any worry that I'd miss my flight. FlightView told mr my flight was still delayed and I even tracked the plane we were waiting for so I knew there was no way I could miss it. New version is really cool. Love the weather feature.

Worth a buck. Question value of elite upgrade. Definitely worth a dollar for the basic app. Waiting for my wife and I can see the position of get flight on the map as well as her altitude and ground speed. No more paying fir parking at the airport!

Fantastic. FlightView beats the airlines own apps or even websites with the most current data. I have told flight crews that we were going to be delayed--before they knew it. We have a small transport business and it keeps track of multiple flights and it does it very well.

Great app!. I have been using the web version of this app for years and was glad to see it be potted to the iPhone. Solidly tracks flights in the air and very up to date. Going to use it in a couple if hours so will update if anything doesn't work.

Quickly gives what you need to know. Works great to monitor status of flights and alternate flights. Updated times and gate changes are as real time as the airport monitors and typically sooner than verbal announcements. Great to get these updates while taxiing to gate, or when looking at alternate options due to flight delays. I don't bother with an online profile, I just manually enter whichever flights I want to track.

Excellent App. Works every time. Lets me save everyones trip info. The inflight status is very nice. This app replaces all those airline specific ones. Don't expect it to foresee the future. It uses official information that has to be given to air traffic control by the airlines. Great info without pesky Ads.

Terrific App. Intuitive and easy to use. Allows you to keep current with flight and gate changes. In an industry where customers are treated worse than cattle, the app takes some of the anxiety out of connections and providing accurate updates to friends and family. Well done.

Works well. I've used this application for over a year and generally find the app to provide a high level of accuracy. Like all airline tools there is a time delay of 3-5 minutes from when you receive an update of flight departures and landing. The weather/ flight maps do not zoom with a high level of granularity, so fine detail is not possible. I use the product when traveling for gate assignments/changes, flight delays, pick-up and drop off times of people, and general airport information. Considering the complexity of travel today, this application tracks and simplifies the whims of change the airlines throws at a seasoned road warrior like me.

Intuitive interface. This app's interface is intuitive, easy to use, easy to understand and clean looking comparing to its major competitor (F*****Aware). I decided to purchase this one after comparing both free versions. The design looks a bit outdated but I don't mind. I prefer functionality over cosmetic.

Best flight tool available!. I can find the flight, see where it is along the flight path in real-time, and I can email the flight details to everyone (all without leaving the app). Super accurate.

Simply best flight tracking app. If you are a frequent flyer and have to fly on multiple airlines this is the app. Real time updates and status. If they included boarding pass feature I would delete all my airline apps.

non functional. I had the free version which did just the necessary, showing me the expected time of arrival. I had hoped judging by the decription that when I had purchased the app, the paid version I would be able to see in real time the location of the plane in the air and when it exactly had landed. Not the case and truly dissapointed. Don't want to use the word"crap" but honestly it came to my mind...I hope you guys can put your passion and devotion back in the improvement of your app that could potentially become perfect as it was intended to be. Great App. Highly recommended, and for anyone who frequently travels upgrade to the paid version - well worth it. Quick updates on status and sometimes it actually updates before the Am Airlines app.

great app- eased my stress at airport. I normally get super stressed out when checking in for my flights because I can never remember my rewards number nor complex confirmation codes. JetBlue now allows check in using flight number but I can never remember this either. This morning I used this app, found my flight number and got through the checkin process quickly- thanks

Awesome features!. Search and plug in all your different flights to a trip set. Remove flights as they are complete. Perfect planning tool. Notifications and real time view are also great to watch when you are waiting at home for a traveler.

Mixed feelings. The flight tracking feature is absolutely the most accurate I've found, but overall functionality is unremarkable - its manual trip-entry is SOOO passé. I've emailed and phone called tech support several times, but they've never gotten back in touch with me. In my book, that's unacceptable, and knocks them down another star; too bad, because the main feature works so well.

Don't fly with out!. This app is a must have when flying or when you are picking up someone who is flying. I've been using different versions of this app for over two years now and it was my first purchase when I upgraded my phone. This app should be listed on the "featured" page of the app store. Well done. Keep up the good work.

Best flight tracking App.. This is a app is great! Very easy to use, accurate and extremely detailed. Love the maps and the weather feature of it. Great for even the casual traveler like myself. For 99 cents how can you go wrong. If you travel even a few times a year it should be on your iPhone!

Love this application!. I love using this application when I travel. It's easy to use and makes it easy to track individual flights. To one of the other posters who gave it a 1-2 star because it didn't have international flights--the description clearly indicates that this app only tracks North America. The one thing that is missing is that I haven't been able to find information on flying altitude and airspeed like a couple other programs already provide.

Best of the flight trackers. After testing several flight trackers, I found Flightview to be my choice while on the road. Pro: Best user interface among the flight tracking apps. Information is fast and easy to access. Haven't found any bugs... unlike the others. Con: Hotel and car rental information can only be stored in the Notes section instead of a dedicated hotel/car rental page. Hotel address linked to the Apple Maps app would be nice. Well worth a buck.

Flight View. Since I bought this app, it's been great. It really helped me in all my business travels for the last two busy weeks. I would not be bringing home a pay check this week (on time) if it weren't for the accurate info on this app. Been the best money I ever spent. Thanks Flight View C Bronzo PS: the weather report was really handy.

This program is the best!. I travel about every 2 weeks for my job and accurate flight tracking is necessary to maintain my sanity! I've tried most of the options out there and this program is the best. ALWAYS accurate info delivered by a stable program. I've been using Flightview for 4 years now and I don't plan on using anything else!

Great App!. I'm a Taxi driver. Most of my business is dropping off & picking up my customers from airports in my area. This app keeps me apprised of the status of all incoming flights, making for smooth pickups and happy customers. I used to call the various airlines on their toll free numbers but the Help Agents were using FlightView to get flight status so I purchased it and happily use it several times per day.

spot on. I'm the guy in the family that always gets the call for a lift to or from the airport, or so it seems. in this day and age, when they're not delayed I find many flights are running ridiculously early. With FlightView's accurate in-flight updates I am able to better estimate when to pull up curbside, and thereby significantly curtail the circling/waiting game.

Best app for flight tracker. Never came across a more user friendly and at the same time informative app for tracking flight.. However, we would love to see an added feature - a way to get the detailed airport status
