It used to be good, now it’s filled to the brim with bots and scammers.. So first off, I just want to say this app has so much potential, I’m not saying it still doesn’t but it has gone down the drain in a lot of ways. I’ve been on this app for approximately 2 years, I’ve seen it’s growth firsthand. The developers add in new things such as live streaming services to try and hide the faults that the app has such as the fake accounts, multiple scammers, robots impersonating actual people. In the time span of 2 years I’ve met friends, relationships, and even enemies. The only way I’ve noticed to even get anyone to “notice” you on this app is if you either pay or you’re outrageously good looking, I’m talking model status at some points. With that being said those said people who are actually on there to meet people either as a relationship or just friends. They always assume that other person is going to just want to, well for lack of better terminology, send naked photographs or buy photographs of that sort. It puts a bad light on everyone else that just wants to find people to hangout with in new cities. I’m dragging this on a while so in conclusion, I wouldn’t take this app too seriously at the moment. The developers need to work on better ways to phase out the bots and scammers. I’ve said my piece, do what you will with this review.

TOO STREAMER. I have been using meetme since it was my year book. I have met plenty of friends off this app and they became my true life friends. As a person that’s been using this app for a long time i have seen a lot of negativity on it from people that trolls people and look for attention. From people that scams people. People that are fake in everything. But that doesn’t mean everyone on the app is fake. This app truly helps a lot of people with their real life drama and headaches and it gives the a better way to explore their minds. I have even witnessed people that were trying to commit a suicide but I personally and others helped them from not doing that and they become our friends till today. Meetme is just an app like every other app that starts new and fresh but by time passing by they work on making it better and better and better and they have being making it even better than it used to be before. I’ll rate this app 5+ ⭐️s because the team is really working hard to make it a safe and joyful app to hangout on when you have free time.

Too many shady people on here. I had met someone on this app and we had been talking for a while and they asked to Skype and I agreed. So while we’re Skyping she wasn’t talking but rather typing things to me and suggested we both get naked for each other on camera. So I foolishly agreed, well right after that everything changed. They proceeded to tell me they they knew all of my information and that they recorded the whole Skype video call and they proceeded to show me they had created a fake Facebook account based on mine and basically was black mailing me and extorting me for money because they told me they were planning on sending it to all my friends and family if I didn’t send them $500 over PayPal. I refused and deleted and blocked them everywhere and even had to change my password for everything! Also even though they did send the video to all of my friends knew it wasn’t me and the reported the fake page to Facebook, which thankfully was taken down. Between this and meeting a girl that lived one town over from me that started out sweet but quickly became a jerk and basically lied to me about being single and only used me for money, I will never use this app again because obviously the creators don’t maintain it and allow anyone on here!

Customer support Is nonexistent and terrible when they do pick up... The app constantly has malfunctions during purchases and there are hackers too one must deal with.. getting the Meetme support team to assist is nearly impossible.. purchasing diamonds usually works however, sometimes it doesn’t then you have to fight with Apple to get a refund, when you don’t receive your diamonds; However, at least Apple picks up or answers the phone.. meetme does not pick up the phone nor respond to emails, if your diamonds do not come through on a purchase.. as a failsafe you may have to call your bank as Apple doesn’t always refund when you don’t receive your diamonds.. i’ve only had issues with Apple twice for refunds regarding this app.. I think it’s due to the fact the meetme app constantly has problems during purchases and maybe Apple is tired of issuing refunds for diamonds purchased and not received.. fortunately, I’ve never received any other problems with any other apps other than MeetMe.. I hope Apple forces meetme to tighten up and have better security, and better accounts receivable when it comes to purchases and diamonds received..I was able to correspond with Meetme one time via email reference to resetting my account after it had been hacked.. i’ve been hacked four times at the meetme app.. security is truly terrible there and I don’t know how the Hackers continue to get in???

Scammers, scammers, scammers!. Download this app and you will be greeted by hundreds of scammers in no time at all! About 1 in 40 girls will be real, mostly you’ll be interacting with scammers trying to get you to visit a sex website and/or getting you to move on to Kik or Snapchat so they don’t have to worry about getting booted from MeetMe. This app is OK to use for free but mark my words, don’t ever give these people money, not even the girls. When talking to them, broken English and repetitive introductions will be your red flag. Some scammers will even appear and sound legitimate but will later ask you to give them gas money because they are always “living with their aunts and taking care of their kids”. Lol They usually have very similar life stories. You’ll see what I mean if you continue to the app but I wouldn’t recommend it. All the 1 star and negative reviews are accurate, if you see a review saying the app is great or giving it more than two stars, that would be a fake reviewer, likely paid by the app developers. Lastly, good luck trying to delete your account, I’ve been trying for almost a year, it wants me to verify my account before I can delete it, however the verification process has NEVER WORKED. The developers are fully aware of this garbage app but don’t expect them do anything about it, they never do and never will until Apple steps in and boots it off the App Store.

Ruined. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I had meetme since I was 13, I’m now 19. Meetme and I have been off and on over the years. The bots, scammers, and MEETME DELEVOPERS are horrible. Don’t get me started on the ads. The app is so run down- oh how popular this app used to be! (As well as skout) when things were going downhill they added the Live and that got everything going for a bit then it got dull again. The app itself and the way it’s set up looks old like they haven’t updated or had any bug fixes. I’ve been through a lot with this app and believe it or not, when times were good they actually did respond to emails. I can’t even log in the app cause some message is stuck in the way saying I need to put in my phone number but I don’t use a phone number for my account. This app just needs to die completely along with Skout unless they’re going to fix the problem. DONT BUY THE SUBSCRIPTION, you won’t be able to cancel!! The caption literally says you won’t be able to cancel your subscription during the sub period so that means you’ll never be able to cancel because you won’t be able to get ahold of meetme and you will have to contact Apple and your bank! Don’t just give 1 stars, say why you hate this app. Maybe it’ll give them some sense to shut it down or make it better!!!

Good apps lots of bugs. So, this app is really good! BUT, it has so many bugs that need to be fixed! I had to verify my identity (I think someone reported my profile for being fake) which wasn’t the headache.. the headache was how long it took their support team to respond back... They made me change my password which leads me to believe that my account was compromised... I finally got back into my account (it wasn’t working with the app after numerous failed attempts) I had to do it through their webpage.// now that I’ve done that and solved that issue, I am unable to log into my account with my phone using the app!!! -____- I tried doing everything that I could think of and nothing worked and nothing solved my issue!!’ I deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times and I find myself still unable to solve it... The app prompts me to prove my identity and to change my password. (Even though this has already been done!) I think this app is very fun but when you run into issues such as these... something more needs to be done.... what’s the point of having an app available in the Apple store if it doesn’t work after awhile...

0% Entertainment. Like many applications that have a failing consumer base, this app fails to deliver a constant feel good atmosphere and lacks in having a welcoming enthusiasm. Seems to run off of its members and less on actual management. Ran a test running through it’s “Lives” and found 90% of them filled with absolutely rude streamers and “viewers.” I didnt even have to stay in one lobby for over two minutes and i was suspended for a “language” complaint, which occurred by biased viewers wanting unwanted company out of the session. Obviously more excessive than necessary where a kick even then would have been seen more appropriate. The fact that this site hands so much power to it’s users alone is an insult to a social media consumer, and should be taken seriously viewing other social applications. I would highly recommend staying away from using this application based off of what i have seen from viewing it.

Waste of time. I've been using this app for a few years now. Tons more click bait social influencer wannabes when they added the ability to go Live but, you can stay away from that feature with no real problem. The main issue is spam accounts. I can't tell you how many times I'd see a notification saying someone viewed my profile and liked me then I go and see its from a profile with a young female, clearly in her teens, picture, the pic is a little blurry and the gender is Male. The second main issue I had was with gay guys messaging me constantly trying to turn me out. 9 times out of 10 they had a female profile with just one close up pic of their lips. I've met a few friends on this app but the nail in the coffin for me was this stupid security update they've added now. It completely removes the ability to log in... As soon as I try to log in there's a pop up requesting I verify my account with my phone number. I've never added my phone number to my account but that wasn't the issue. It won't even recognize my phone number as valid. I've had the same number for over 5 years and some stupid app is saying it's not real. Smh

New Users Beware. First, “verified” means you scanned a picture. Verification means absolutely nothing. Verified should mean real account, but obviously it doesn’t. This app has always had soooooo much potential, but the biggest issue has always been bots. I say bots and not fake users for a reason. I’m positive at this point the developers are creating fake accounts to keep up the user count, interactions, and most importantly the ad revenue. This was once a place to meet cool people, dating or not. Now it’s infested with fake profiles and the company does not care in the slightest. There’s a reason they automatically block accounts for you when you report them. What’s that reason? They run those bot accounts and you can’t see that account still exists once it’s blocked. This is such a sad collapse for something that used to be better than any other similar app. Yeah, we all know Tinder and Bumble have scammers, but this is being run by the dev team and it’s extremely sad. Maybe if they put money back into their company instead of pocketing it they could be successful. This app needs rebranding, an entirely new UI, and sophisticated algorithms to get you to interact with people you’d actually like to see. The REAL people are actually still cool to interact with, but good luck finding them. 2 stars for the potential. For the dev team? No stars. Happy hunting!

Was fun decades ago, don’t know what to think now. So I’ve had this app back when it was still considered Myyearbook and more of a social network. There were games, causes to donate to, etc. It was then turned to “meet me” and I kept it. I absolutely love the lives and love the fact that you can cash out your diamonds for money and give gifts. However, I found that there are a few things that really bother me. 1- it seems that there are a few features that are only available to some users. Some people seem to be able to convert their diamonds back into coins to gift users while others can’t. 2-Many of the users and some “top streamers” have been known for bullying, going into other’s live streams to cause problems, and simply make nasty and rude remarks. The addition of the “bouncers” has been great, but the overall bullying really makes cyberbullying a problem. 3-Simple features such as sharing one’s live stream link via a “blast” to your favorite list seems to only be available to certain users. Overall, the app is fun, but the lives seem to overshadow the app and other features could be integrated to maybe make it better again (as I really enjoyed Myyearbook).

This app needs well needed features. I would love to see back swiping on this app to make it a little bit easier to go from one message to another or doing various things within the app, another very important thing I would like to see is kind of an implication of what Instagram has where if someone’s trying to message you, you have accept their message and that would be great we cut down on the people trying to Catfish you because obviously you can see who is trying and who is actually trying to speak to you. There’s two bags that I’ve recently found out about one of them is where it will take a long time for it to recognize your taps, and the other bug is when you’re typing a message to and then the keyboard will sometimes go down and disappear and then you ultimately will tap the ad under the key board. Other than those problems the app is great I love using it I use it every single day.

What Happened. SMH. I was on MeetMe when it was known as MyYearBook and moved on. Decided to give it a try and my experience has been really, really bad. Horrible! There are a lot of creepy men on who request nudes, who want to know everything about you, get mad when you don't send naked pictures, people threaten you on this app, men harass you, men call you names if you don't video call them, there are a ton of homophobic, transphobic, racist and misogynistic men on there! Where is customer service when a report is made???? At one point today I feared for my life. This app needs a safer place and section for LGBT members. Also safety measures for women. It can be a very toxic and draining app if you let it get to you. I think members should be screened, maybe require a psychological evaluation, background check or a no discrimination or stricter policy. I think the matching process is a joke. As far as in my experience the matches just do not work. I see this app could use major improvement. Please make it more gender inclusive and a safer community. Maybe someone of the LGBT community on your team could come up with some ideas. Or ask me. Contact me!

Almost had 80k diamonds and they logged me out.. This app is very much a new age social media. The live feature is what I utilized mostly while Being on here. I spent a large majority of my time on live in hope of reaching to the top. That is up until I had around 78k in diamonds and they logged me out and when I tried creating new passwords as mentioned it did not allow me to renter in to my account. This is the 4th time happening to me on this site, as soon as they see you becoming popular they delete you off in efforts of you not reaching the 80k which is when there suppose to give you a cash prize. As cool as it was to be on live they are very much liars , cheaters and thieves!!😡 , there countless amounts of emails I sent them and still yet no reply. Not only was my time wasted but I lost a lot of friends from around the world that I can no longer speak too. I have also spoke to top livers who said there is no way to fix the problem because the meetme team doesn’t answer anyone regarding this issue in which MANY people end of having.I would not recommend this app at all! Unless they reach out to me regarding this issue.

Not what it used to be.. I’m not one for horrible reviews, but I feel something needs to be said. I’ve been an avid meetme user since it was formally myyearbook. After the name was changed to meetme, the site hasn’t been the same. Meetme used to be great! At one point it was a hot topic and was very popular, but just like everything else, it’s changed. I’m not sure if the developers are aware about this issue, but the fake accounts and spammers have got to stop! It’s become worse since meetme merged with skout. But skout is the same way. Nothing but spam accounts. This site and pretty much every other dating/social media site out there is nothing what it used to be. It used to be enjoyable, it’s nothing but enjoyable anymore. The only reason why I still have these accounts is because it’s a form of connection with other people, but it’s been nothing but fake accounts. I’m writing a review here simply because, I have tried to attempt to contact support personnel with various sites about this issue, including skout and I never receive a response, nor is nothing done to correct the issue. I would love to give input on how you could make sites like these better, but that’s nearly impossible when you can’t even get the right person to talk to that will step up and do something about it. It’s sad how much these sites have changed these days!

“Admires”. Alright. I’ve had experience with this app a couple years ago, then I got bored and deleted it. I stayed away for two years, came back, and nothing has changed, except the people. This isn’t the problem, as, well, people change. The problem I have with this app is the ‘Matches’ tab. Going in here is weird because you have 3 more tabs in there labeled ‘Meet’, ‘Admires’ and ‘Matches’. The one I will talk about is the ‘Admires’ tab and how trash this installment is. Basically it’s a nice idea that needs some major work. (In fact this whole app does). Anyway. Upon tapping the ‘Admires’ tab, it will give you an option of 20 people, and you have 5 guesses as to which one ‘Admires’ you. For the first few times, it was all well and good, but then it got to the point where I couldn’t go an hour without getting an ‘Admirer’. After a few times I noticed a pattern, THEY WERE ALL THE SAME PERSON IN THE PICTURE. And to make matters worse a few times more THEy HAD THE SAME NAME. I don’t think I’ll go back into this app, until recent positive reviews start popping up. There is potential to make this app great, however. Staff at MeetMe, clean up or throw it away. Thank you.

V.I.P. SCAM. After spending THOUSANDS of dollars on this app. And being one color away from becoming the final color of a VIP GIFTER. My profile was suddenly logged out and deleted. When contacting support I was replied with the generic answer of “violating terms of service” when I asked what specifically that violation was….crickets. No response. I have a theory as to why this has happened but I will hopefully be presenting it with an attorney to get all of the money spent on this app returned. This app partners with marketing companies that once have your information it is sold and you will receive numerous marketing calls. How I know is I have a number just used ONLY for anything in conjunction with this app. The constant phone calls and text are excessive. I had problems with this app before so I tried to a different strategy when using it again this time and it did not take very long to have them delete the profile with very little provocation and NO explanation but this time after taking thousands of dollars from me! I will be posting a more detailed account of this final experience on other social media platforms and on meetme social media to warn others that the same thing can and will happen to them! Meet Me is a company that utilizes the users to profit off of and dispose of as they want with no recourse or CUSTOMER Service at all! STAY AWAY!

I met my future husband thanks to this app. So when I was 14 I created an account and well there were a bunch of people who catfish you but luckily I knew how to detect it. Well I came across someone and I thought he was cute and messaged him saying hey :) and it alllll started there. After a few calls I asked to FaceTime to make sure he wasn’t a catfish. Luckily he wasn’t. Eventually We were best friends. Not a day went by where we did not FaceTime. 2 years later we finally met in person and a few days later we started dating. We are currently almost 3 years into our relationship with our love doing nothing but growing. We are all we have. I love Him more than anything and if it weren’t for my parents being so strict about marriage(I’m 19 and he’s 20 and they think we’re too young) we would’ve already been married. In the end I trace it alll back to this app. Where it all started. And well I just wanted to say thank you. If it weren’t for this app who knows how lonely my life could have been.

Meetme app is a total waste of time. I had used meetme years ago and it was an ok website back in the but this app and corresponding website have been overrun scammers. In one week of usage not one legitimate user at all. This is not an exaggeration. The streamers are ridiculous and all of these dating sites have done this. Most steamers strictly state that they are not there to date which further diminishes the dating pool within the app. All the streaming is a sad parade of narcissist and their followers. It serves no purpose but to boost the egos of of the nobody’s that gain collections of digital gifts that don’t exist. Their fans buy these gifts with a virtual in app currency and gives them to the streamers. The person with the most gifts wins, nothing. Meetme and several of the apps like it have almost completely become scams. The only people benefitting from it are not rhe subscribers, not the streamers or their fans. The owners of the meetme website are lining their pockets hand over fist with the money of the victims/subscribers and steamer fans. This has gone on long enough and it is time for these frauds to be investigated and the owners shut down.

Thankful For This App. While I discontinued utilizing this app post coming into contact with someone , I can say that it was legitimate with the few weeks I had it . I met the most amazing , articulate, amazing , drop dead gorgeous woman on here back in 2015. Had it not been for us matching on the MeetMe we would not know each other today. This app served as a lifeline for our initial meeting and soon we will be coming together within the next few months ! <3 . My advice to anyone actually utilizing the app for good intentions towards “meeting” someone is to be your authentic self and to have a positive mindset. You will be surprised; you could find your better half on the app with a chance meeting. Although this app is not commercialized like the dating apps you see advertised on TV that you have to pay for 😒, it is nevertheless authentic and valid. Like I mentioned, my Love and I met on it and I am so glad that we did. ⭐️⭐️ Thank You MeetMe

Efficient App for People of the LGBT Community!. I haven’t had any problems with this app that I normally wouldn’t have with any other social media. There’s the great and there’s the bad! I love this app because there is a bunch of people you can choose from and talk with! Granted some girls on here are dry/strippers/prostitutes/etc but those are everywhere and I won’t blame the app for the certain people using it. Of all the apps I’ve used, I’ve been a long time user of MeetMe for the longest! (almost two years!) HER,Badoo,POF,Tinder,Bumble,Clover,Skout,etc are all trash. Being apart of the LGBT community, this app is definitely the Lesbian HangOut of Meeting apps. They have a diverse lgbt community following on this app. Matter fact, the biggest of all meeting apps I’ve ever been on. (Except for HER, but HER is 18+) Great for teens and there is a way you can censor out all the negative/pervs of the app in which I can definitely appreciate! 5 STARS KEEP UP THE WORK!

I hate meet me. I wish meet me would’ve got kicked off and sue because I am a disability, and I use my disability check onto their website and they banned me off from my website because I had type one diabetes, learning disability, and schizophrenic and overreact to thyroid and anxiety and high blood pressure And they don’t care about anybody’s life and Legacy. I wish somebody can sue them for everything because they use my disability check and I spent over $1 million on their website online prescription and I feel disgusting when they’re perverts taking a vantage of me, and they didn’t preach they didn’t respect me so they banned me off of their website, including I had created two accounts, so meet me, I hate meet me and make me feel better if they wasn’t no more apps of meat mean and a treat me like a wrong disability person even though there’s plenty girls on their their disability and I’m a disability guy so they don’t respect me also, I don’t care about anybody’s health condition or anybody life condition that’s why so many people on their website guy killed a cell phone cause they don’t care about them. They just want money but they don’t support life and Amber tech people with conditions I heard there was a guy in a girl hang yourself on this app and they don’t respect anybody. Take you off the website something that she didn’t do wrong.

Very mixed feelings. So part of this app works well and it’s not anything special. But there is a feature called match with what is a guessing game called admirers. You’re meant to guess who has somehow indicated you as a person they admire. The only problem with this is they are almost entirely bot accounts created by the app developers in an attempt to make this app seem more popular and interactive than it actually is. This wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t always encouraging users to spend money on credits to boost they’re popularity with these bots WITCH IS POINTLESS. I’ve spoken to my aunt who is a lawyer and has worked several class action lawsuits, she’s agreed with me that there is definitely shady business tactics at play here and there may be some leverage to show users being taken advantage of, and developers using misinformation to excel the amount of micro transactions. Meet Me team I will be in contact with you. This app needs a major overhaul. It’s worth your time to focus on making a better product for the consumer, and if you’re charging money for your product than it’s your responsibility to. This app has a lot of potential especially considering the amount of real people that are on here, but it’s gonna take the developers looking at it again and taking away all the features that are just bloating the app.

Poor.. Poor customer service, poor behavior in general. I agree with one of the lower comments about losing your account to pushback. I was being harassed and sent several messages asking about physical interactions with men for money, as well as much more and I decided to report one “admirer” and was quickly sent an email telling me I was flagged because I was “fake” and my account was locked until I verified myself. Which I did. Then proceeded to tell me to change my password, which I did. The app now won’t let me get on without asking for old password/set a new password which - I DID and tell me it’s incorrect when I try to log in. I’ve emailed customer service and am awaiting a reply....which I fear I won’t receive. They’re still locking me out. This app is filled with ridiculous misogynistic shady behavior and I am praying my pictures don’t get used by someone else now since they’ve quite literally removed my right to handle my account myself and delete it. I’d be taking legal action if I could. I’m contemplating making a trip to their office space (I’m nearby) to confront this issue in person since customer service is so poor. As a woman in the dating pool, it’s unsettling to put even a minuscule amount of trust in an app and then to be blatantly disrespected in terms of my privacy and my right to deleting it or having proper customer service to help me handle it.

Feels like a trap. I signed up with my Facebook and it immediately put my name, age, location, and profile pics. I wasn’t ready for that, because I wanted to get a feel for it first. As a woman, I was bombarded by men, some of which may have been decent people, but most wanting me to meet them before we’d even had a conversation…as in, “can you come to my place right now?” What is this, a trafficking site? Some were the usual disgusting advances or questions you’d expect from the gutters these men must’ve come from. I also got some messages from women, that were clearly not regular ol’ ladies looking to make a connection, but accounts with someone trying to get money. And a big percentage of the men would ask me if I was real…so it seems like a very small handful of regular people drowning in a cesspool of low class trash trying men to get their weinies wet, and women trying to make money off of those men.

I’m gonna sue Re-evaluate this app it’s a scam. It used to be fun but now it’s based on the dollar which honestly it makes it disgusting how an app can stoop so low for the value of money. On the contrary,some people make a lot of money due to diamond trading or getting incentives from the app but hey that’s behind the scenes that Jill, Jim B, Thomas and all those heavy gifters(admins) that never appear on the list expect for the streams they were present in to gift on those top those boards. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes, group chats, sex trafficking, a lot of people that gift unfortunately don’t see. Honestly hopefully they crack down on them because there’s a lot of abuse such as mental psychological, physical abuse, etc that doesn’t get accounted for on the app. The trolling well unfortunately that becomes news stories because no one took care of the trolls Hopefully they will be shut down one day they don’t care about the community they care about the dollar they don’t do anything to elevate the app. This is killing the community of people and this mental and people are losing a lot more than gaining. This app whom I invested in whom I thought was for the community but when it’s said and done it’s all about the dollar disgust me. I will fight to get every penny I invested in this app as I have been falsely advertised. I have endless videos we can take this to court. Thank you.

Poor Customer Support. I must express that the experience on the app as a participant is great. The live rooms and interactions between members is awesome. However, I had started to watch the free videos in order to build up gift coins that is offered by the app and after having reached over a 1000 coins I was suspiciously removed from the app. I have changed my password so many times and have requested for support from the supposed “Customer Support” team but it has been over a month and not a single reply. Instead I continue to get the notification “login invalid try resetting your password”. Individuals like me are the ones who have the resources to bring more people to the app, but if the administrators of the app feel that playing with participants time is okay with them, then how could I ask all of the members on the app who are not already contracted to remain on the app. All this over a simple login issue makes no sense to me or anyone that I have shown my failed login attempts to. So until customer support actually provides some technical support I cannot give this app a five star rating. Everyone on the app that knows me (@lubu_da1) knows I have nothing to lie about.

Meetme is predatory and dangerous app.. I have been on and off meetme for years. Why? Because every time I make an account it gets deleted when I turn down sexual advances or solicitations from random men. It takes one report of me being “fake” for my entire account to be deleted. No questions asked. Unless it comes to reporting underage girls. Meetme is a mixture of sexually charged perverts and young girls being preyed on. There is no lack of prostitution or other illegal activity on this app and nothing is done about it. I have reached out through every possible way to express my concerns and they have gone unanswered. It’s a shame bc there are good things about the site for people who choose to meet people online. Again though the second anyone doesn’t submit to a sexual desire or pushes back at all, their account gets deleted indefinitely. I have found my pictures used on the site as catfish accounts as well right after my account has been deleted. Which of course is unsettling. Something is really shady about this app/site and like I said it all goes unanswered by the creators. I would stay away from this app all together. It screams prostitution, drugs, and human trafficking.

Terrible. I’ve been on the app for over 2 months now and all I want to do is have a nice conversation and maybe find a friend. Maybe even more than a friend but don’t ever expect a reply. You know what I’m somewhere between a 5 and an 8. I’m definitely not the best looking guy on the planet but even the women on the sight who look like they have a missing chromosome won’t bother replying even if they read your message and it’s the apps fault. And now you can’t even view their whole photo album without paying the app to do so even if the account isn’t private. The only ones who bother messaging you will ask you to kik them so they can have a bot link you their nasty sex cams so you can give them money, it’s just trash. The app forces you to judge people at first glance and they promote that type of interaction by making you play this stupid guessing game to find out who liked your profile. It’s trash, everyone on it is trash, everyone on there is either fake or has unrealistic expectations and everyone is so pretentious they can’t even respond or look at your profile to see what kind of a person you really are and it’s the apps fault. Don’t get this app. Especially if your looking for date, even if it’s just for sex. And especially don’t get it if you’re lonely.

Customer Service has ruined this ENTIRE app 🤬. First of all, I literally made this profile just over 24 hours ago. Everything was fine at first...I had several normal selfies posted and even verified that I was who I was. Today, in the middle of a chat, I was logged out of my account for no reason. Tried logging back in and got an error message saying my login information was invalid. I LITERALLY reset my password 4-5x and it still said everything was invalid. I deleted and reinstalled the app, still invalid. I’ve already sent several emails to the support email address with no response. I messaged meetme on Instagram, still no response. I even called the phone number and that was no help. I just want to delete my account at this point and not even deal with meetme anymore but I can’t get into my account to delete, nor has anyone responded to my messages. Now my information and pictures are circulating around this app WITHOUT MY CONSENT. This is NOT ok. I’ve done my research and am now finding there are hundreds of other people going through this cycle with meetme. I DO NOT recommend this app to ANYONE!!! DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!

Bug issues. I am so annoyed with this apps. I’ve had several accounts and each one has been verified each time. I got on it about 30 minutes ago and it said I needed to verify AGAIN because my account was flagged for some dumb reason. So I verified it once again, and now it’s asking me to change my password. So I enter all the old passwords I can remember, and try to create a new password, but it continuously says “password needs to be 3-12 characters long” which it is and it still is not accepting the new password! I’ve tried everything I possible could but nothing seems to be working. This app gets updated so often because of so many bug issues. Apparently you need to fix it again because it’s causing so many issues. I’m like did they go ahead and just delete my account? Because I even tried going online from my computer to reset the password that way and it’s saying that each email I put it is not found. I’m so annoyed with this app and all I literally want to do is talk and chat with people. I’m not one to write nasty reviews but I’ve had nothing but continuous trouble with this app.

So frustrated. I have had this app not that long maybe two months or so. Was recommended so I could meet new people with the same interests and hobbies as me but that’s definitely not how it went. Not the apps fault BUT I recently decided to delete it because I just went through a divorce and not ready for those kinds of convos yet. TMI I know. I also felt a tad unsafe. So many of these individuals wanted me to drive to them or pick me up. Almost every single one. So I tried deleting the account but every time I entered my password it was wrong. Even though I write down every password I have and I know it’s not wrong. Logged out to try and send an email so I can change it. Still won’t send me an email I’ve tried several times. Thought maybe I could login with my Facebook NOPE! Made an entirely new account for whatever reason. I know I didn’t have the wrong email initially because I was sent a confirmation when I made the account. Now I can’t get ahold of anyone for customer service. I’m so frustrated and angry that this “customer service” is this terrible. It took me far too long to even figure out how to get in contact and now I’m waiting for a response since I’ve made a “ticket” for my issues. Stay away from this app entirely. It’s pure crap

Fix The Bugs!!!!. I don’t like writing reviews because it’s kinda a waste of time. But I’ve had SO many problems with this app I need to address it. I’ve used MeetMe in the past a few years ago and it was working fine. It was the best app I had used back then. But one day when when I was logging out of the app to take a break, I tried to log back in but it didn’t accept the password that I had been using for years. And then when i was tired of putting things in, I tried to reset try password, but nothing was ever sent to my email. So I lost that account. The second profile I tried to make, everything was running smooth. However after a few weeks I wanted to change my photos. The app had other plans. The app kept bringing back the photos that I was trying to delete. Then it wouldn’t let me update my bio. So I was frustrated at this point and closed that account. Now I’m here in 2019. For this account, I promised myself that this would be the last one I ever make with MeetMe. However with this one, while I was trying to sign up and it asked me to upload some photos, I could not upload any photos. And I tried and tried and tried for at least an hour. I tried contacting support but it always ends up going nowhere. This app has been a complete waste of my time and I honestly would not recommend. There’s a reason why other apps are doing better and this is slowly starting to fail!!!

Awkward. I will say this app is...an experience. Luckily it screens all photos so nothing explicit will get to you, which is probably why so many people list or ask for other apps to be used in their chats. Still though, you will receive many “offers” and be annoyed almost constantly unless you can maintain a low profile, which they do have a few settings to help with that. Occasionally, you’ll meet someone nice to talk with so it gets points for that. However, just today when I was chatting with one of those rare people it stopped sending my messages, showing a failed message each time. And to make matters worse it stopped showing any of their messages and won’t give me a way to contact them. When I try to report the problem on the app, I get more error messages. Took a lot of work just to get on a site that would be able to send a message to the developers that wasn’t blocked by my security software. And I don’t even have a confirmation email that they received it. So now I am unable to talk with someone I liked, don’t know why or how the problem was caused, and don’t know when or if it will be fixed. But hey, if you’re just in this for you know what, you might enjoy this app.

2nd time major annoyance. Recently, for the SECOND time, I created account only to be randomly logged out after a while of usage. When I attempt to log in, it says my password is incorrect (which isn’t true). So the only resort is to use the reset password link right? Well when I use that, the email hits my inbox hours/days later, and when I try to reset my password it says the thing is expired. Trying to reset password now doesn’t even send the email to my inbox anymore.. which is extremely beyond frustrating, considering that you don’t have access to your profile with YOUR pic. It’s even more frustrating that this whole thing I described has happened twice. And it’s a deal breaker that these people didn’t respond to my complaint. MeetMe was good in the past I can confirm. If this was 2013 I’d give it a 5 star because I met a ex gf through MM at that time. Now, It seems like it’s being run by some thugs. I do not recommend. “Staff” is pathetic and doesn’t reply or take serious the complaint you send. Find something else, I’ve met 3 women on tinder in the past and have absolutely never had my account there hijacked.

Scammers and Bots will annoy you to no end. I’ve been on this app a few times and this last time I got on it completely sucked. To be completely honest I was just on there to video chat with women or meet up and I’m not bragging or being arrogant when I say this but I’m a really attractive person I’ve heard it all my life I can pull just about anyone I want obviously to an extent but what I’m trying to say is I was completely caught of guard and blown away that I had all these people trying to get me to pay them for their nudes or videos or sex or whatever and I just couldn’t help but laugh and be in complete shock at the same time. No woman has ever asked me to pay to see her body or sleep with her. Isn’t that something you go looking for on the corner?? I don’t need all these people trying to hack my phone and accounts using someone else’s pictures to lure you in. It doesn’t work on me. But it’s really annoying that it happens constantly while you’re online and they always say the same stupid first line over and over and they don’t make any sense when they converse with you probably because they’re not from this country and their using google translate which isn’t accurate when it comes to American slang and especially Texas slang no way they can keep up with me. Avoid this app! It’s too risky for hacking and identity theft to even think about downloading it. DO NOT!

Have been using this for 10* years since it was myyearbook. Do not use this app. 98% of profiles are fake trying to scam you and the app developers do nothing about it and do not care because all of the fake profiles give them more profits and generate revenue and more popularity by showing more active users to make it seem more genuine. This app developer does not care about your safety, your privacy nor your personal information. They will only care once something happens that they can get in trouble for AND ONLY THEN will they do something about a situation. EVEN WHEN YOU REPORT FAKE PROFILES IT DOES NOTHING but you can report real profiles and it will act on it much quicker. More than half the time for all of that. They literally do not even let “reports” go though all the way half the time. Steer very far away from this app, skout, or any other app this developer has made. It’s done notbung but gone down hill and will continue to do so. I just reported 30+ fake profiles that were “local” to me within a matter of 2 or 3 minutes before typing this. There’s maybe 15 real people nearby me that have been on here for years just like me and 1000s of fake profiles acting like they’re local. I’m finally done dealing with this app developer altogether.

I used to love this app. I used to love this app and I have used it for years. But suddenly I can no longer log in and I have spent over an hour repeatedly changing my password. The only response I ever got from Meetme as to why I was locked out of my account that I had was apparently there was suspicious activity and I needed to change my password. Witch ended me up in a vicious cycle of never ending password changing because it would never let me log in with my new password. The site itself is good if you don’t mind all the underage kids and people from halfway around the world trying to marry you. Also lots of bots and people in relationships looking to cheat on their partner…now that I think about why did I use this app on and off for 5 years? Also make sure you never need support from meetme there is no such thing as support at all. Thou you can easily get banned just for upsetting someone or if someone decides to report your page in anyway and there is no way to get it back. I actually can’t even make a new account anymore since it atomically signs me into my account that I already have but yet I can’t access it without my phone number witch is considered invalid and unusable

Don’t waste your time. I’ve been on the account for several years but I’m currently forced to make a new one because I’m randomly logged out of the account and not able to login again. I have been told by Men that they’ll Report me because I did not respond to them. I haven’t even broke any of the rules I literally make a post about going to a museum and then I’m forced I have the app and no longer able to login. I really used to enjoy the app but now the owners have become so controlling. I can’t even post A photo. No my photo weren’t nude or revealing. I can post a photo in a dress much like the one I just posted before you kick me off the app. Then I check my wall it’s removed. Also honestly the developers have stolen so much money for me it’s criminal. Im done ! I’ve been a customer for years in this app has honestly become draining. I only like this app because you’re able to make statuses, other than that this app is completely outdated anything that this app can do any other app can do. Curiosity didn’t kill the cat. I downloaded this app early February 2017 when I moved over seas to South America to meet new faces with similar interests as me. Having no clue how to speak Spanish fluently I looked for someone who had some knowledge of English. Low and behold 2 weeks within using the app, I accidentally get a recommendation of a guy who supposedly was in my city but instead the app hadn’t updated to his current hometown which was 8 hours away (driving). Well, long story short, after being cautious yet still curious and finally 6 months later of only writing to the guy we finally met and months later officially dated. We’re together almost 2 solid years now. I really wonder it would’ve been impossible to run into an amazing guy like him hadn’t it been for this app. I know it sound ridic and we may just have had our luck, but it’s worth a try if you’re that serious !

Great app gone bad. I joined this app when I was 13. I wrote my review at 20, giving it five stars. I’m now 25 and editing that review to share my level of disappointment. Upon joining, this site was amazing. There were games, bidding on “owning” each other’s photos, fun profile customization with themes and top friend spots. It was so much fun. Over the years, many many changes have taken place and all of those fun features are gone. It transitioned into some sort of dating/live streaming/scamming website. For a bit, there was still a “feed” section with different interest categories you could post statuses to etc. The last I checked (at which point I deleted the app entirely) the feed section was also removed! That was the last straw for me as it removed basically any socializing unless you wanted to stream yourself live within the app. Most messages are also scams or bots, not even real people anymore! It makes me extremely upset that this site, which was my absolute favorite through my early teen years, has been stripped of every single good feature it previously had. Hello Meetme.. Everyone who’s considering this app should think twice. I am an adult individual who baits and reports pedophiles. Within 24 hours of setting a trap on that site I received bites from more than a handful of eager grown men, jumping at the chance to sleep with a 15 year old girl (you can find their names on a list near you). Now granted, these people’s actions are not MeetMe’s responsibility but securing the safety of their younger users is. And that responsibility has been woefully neglected. Meetme took down my page. Which I decided might’ve been because one of my marks flagged me. My other page which I used for myself at one point in time was also flagged, signaling a deliberate effacing of any trace I could’ve left. Any and all attempts to re-register were met with unexplained error and “spam prevention” pages prompting a number for verification. But no number actually worked. I even entered 10 random, locally based numbers, all were “used to verify an account in the past” which is statistically highly improbable. Not only does meetme fail to protect children, they opt, instead to protect the men who want to violate them. I intend to take this up with the authorities. It’s time to talk MeetMe.

Login issue fixed. Contacted support because I couldn’t login. Eventually they fixed the issue. Account got disabled because the app has or had a bug where it thought I broke the terms of service but I did not and when I contacted support they were able to detect that it was indeed a bug from their automated system. They fixed that issue too. If you have any issues I recommend contacting support. I give it 4 stars. If they resolve the login bug for all users without needing to contact support.. And get rid of that automated system that can accidentally and falsely disable peoples accounts.. plus get rid of ads and bring it back to how it use to be where you only watch adds when earning free coins I think it would deserve 5 stars and be a all round great app for anyone interested. I understand money makes the world go round but I think there’s better ways to implement ads. Like watching adds to see who viewed your photos would be a good one. Even if it was MeetMe bots designed to get you to watch the adds. Lol. Thanks MeetMe and keep on improving!

Account users that spend money are priority. Account users that spend money are the platforms number 1 priority but beware how much you spend cause only the biggest spenders gets true customer service I’ve been in the app for over 2 years now , and recently was kicked out of my account regained access but only online it’s like I’ve been locked out of my account via the app , I contacted customer service via email and they say my account is still active , yet I still can’t log in on the app , I’ve spent well over $2000 supporting friends and other random streamers on the app yet that doesn’t seem to be enough for the developers to grant me access via The Market App , I created a back up for this very purpose and 4 days later that account is permanently deleted via the creators for “COMMUNITY GUIDELINES VIOLATIONS” that are non existent I haven’t even been in the account long enough to violate anything , the application creators and customer support will target your account for nearly any reason possible and once you submit a complaint they will ghost you as if they never knew you existed .

The worst customer service ever.. The only thing slower then these CSR’S on this app is a sloth. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to the Nevada DMV. If your a first time customer here you probably won’t have issues. I recently came back to use the MeetMe App, when I tried to login it would not let me, I then proceeded to try to do a change password for the account are used previously, no change of password email ever sent to original email. So I had thought well long time no use maybe account is completely gone and I need to create a new one. Went to create a new one and was told I could not have multiple accounts, associated with same phone number, no account name from last email address. I have contacted the Mimi service support team several times going on five times to be exact. No response no show of concern for the customer and still cannot use app. After several frustrating attempts and no help given by technical support team, I have rated this app one store and in line to change my rating even after waiting so long, if only they were to fix this issue so I can actually use the app.

5 stars for finding a 5 star husband. For starters, I know it’s the person and all... and being fortunate that I happened to give that young bright eyed boy a shot. It started in 2014, I was 16 and bored from a surgery. Meet me was practically entertainment to my best friend and I. To some friends we even made it a joke. We’d talk to people just to get outside of our small town. Then, I stumbled upon him. My husband to be. He messaged me and fate began. Meet me introduced the greatest thing in my life hands down, the guy that has taken care of me and stood by me through 6 surgeries. Fully supported me while I got on my feet from post op recoveries. I waited on him though basic training and we dated for 4 years before finally getting married. I think back to how fortunate we were on an app that you start think is not worth the time. It was. You never know what you might stumble upon. I was extremely fortunate and couldn’t be happier with our life we’ve made together. By 21 and 20 we had a remodeled house and 3 dogs and good jobs with starts to our lives. We took such a chance thanks to this app. We fell in love with strangers. Didn’t even meet for a while due to still being kids. For our lucky story, after waiting due to age and circumstances, and all and catfish fears no matter what. It worked out. **Given my review I do strongly advise a ton of caution on this app from experience back in the day.

💜 Don’t take it for granted. 💙. I took this app for granted, I didn’t realize it could actually change my life. I messed around on it at first just talking to people, it would usually be those little chats that never go anywhere. Give everyone a chance because one day I got on to just block people / to see how my page was doing and I didn’t know it then but I got a completely normal message from someone that changed my life and showed me what true love was. I know it sounds sappy but I just can’t believe I met him off this app. I gave up so many times and deleted the app and my profile. I had my last profile for only a couple of days before he messaged me. I talked to 3 other guys and 1 of a week and the other 2 for a couple of months. I didn’t think it would ever workout of me and anyone. I’m a bigger girl and no one ever was interested in me in person. I love my man with all my heart and just so you know it can really happy my name on Facebook is Natalee Sizemore. My man and I have been together for almost 7 months and I know he’s the one.

Heads Up: You Cannot Delete Your Account. Firstly let me start off by saying this app is WAY too busy in the sense that you are bombarded by so much information at once on your Home Screen, it’s very jarring as a new user. Navigating feels very busy, and not very user friendly to new people. And now for the two star review: This app makes it IMPOSSIBLE to delete your account if you sign in with your Apple account. Every single time I go to delete my account it will ask me to verify and I would have to re-log in. That’s all fine, except it doesn’t do anything at all and I would have to repeat the ENTIRE PROCESS all over again!! Customer service is also non existent, and there appears to be no solution to this issue. I feel very uncomfortable knowing an app has access to my photos and personal information, and I cannot revoke that access by deleting my account.. Please skip this app. Clearly the developers care more about keeping users on their platform than allowing them to make decisions in their best interests.

Scam app. They constantly revise their app with “bug” fixes yet the functionality of it remains the same for the past ten years+. What they’re REALLY doing is perpetuating this pronoun game and more than two genders game by having literally the same paid actors from all their combined apps, be the same paid actors on live streams for over 10 years and saying the propaganda they are paid to say. They import their fake users to their new apps as well confirming that they don’t need anyones phone number to “verify” they are real, because they just use your personal info to market and sell regardless of the new feature they put into some of their apps stating you can opt out of their marketing scam… oh, after 10 years we finally get to tell them not to use our info to advertise? Especially when they kick us out of our account on trumped up charges, then they don’t explain anything, then they just hijack our account and keep up photos and our name behind it. Still waiting on my profile from 9 years ago to be taken down. Matchgroupllc inc or whatever cowardly livability company they are hiding behind needs the federal government to take them down. They have become a billion dollar propaganda machine perpetuating liberal mental illness views, and censoring free speech. Rubbish. After being on this app for over 1 year, ppl that decide to report you for simply not being interested in them, the app will delete your account and more so bare your phone. Can’t believe how childish the moderators are on this app. You contact them and they say that you have been reported for no reason given. Rubbish again. It’s not my fault that people who report profiles on here are sick in the heads. This app moderators need to be more lenient and not just bare your device. TERRIBLE.. I was a live streamer for about two years then out of the blue the app asks me to verify myself by doing a Videos selfie. I tried this about 500 times for months and it didn’t work, and it wouldn’t let me access my account. I tried emailing the support centre but of course they were no help. I lost my account with all my followers and diamonds. No stars.

Tech issue after iOS update to 14 or15 plz fix. I love the folks in this app but it has some issues. Won’t load the page to sign up for MeetMe after updating iOS tk version 14 or 15. Okay who ever reads this I recommend you not to waste your time Because I can’t even create an account due to stupid “errors” coming up with the date of birth thing so I highly recommend to just delete the app and just find something more workable and fitting instead of some low manufactured junk like this app that should really not exist. If has potential to be good. It has potential it really does but like with all the other apps it lets bots in. I don’t get it. Is it that hard to verify people? The app allows verification but it doesn’t do anything. I don’t mind paying if it means I avoid the scammers but I haven’t met one actual person. Not one! ——-AVOID THIS APP——-. My account was deleted without warning two times for no reason. The first time I emailed support they gave me a standard response to breaking terms without explaining what terms I broke and than the second time they have not responded to my emails and it’s been over a week. I was a paid subscriber that was respectable to other users and followed all the rules yet my account was deleted!!! The fact that the customer service team does not want to respond to my email is unprofessional. And if I did do something wrong why no warning or at least inform me of what I had done wrong! The app itself is full of fake accounts trying to steal your information or trap you into going to fraudulent websites!! I can’t even get a refund for my subscription. I’ll be going to social media to let as many people know to stay away from this app and any other apps the makers might have.

Need fixing. Still.. I like the app but it needs improving. Chews up a ton of battery in a short period of time. Today I realized it took up 5% in about 5-6 minutes....had everything else on my phone closed. Also location feed acuracy needs to be fixed. I always set it to people within 40km of me (I'm in Sydney) and it still shows up with people from QLD etc. so sick of it.

Awesome app. This app has connected me with some really awesome people, from plutonic friends, all the way through to fwb. Only downfall would be that there aren’t many options for sending visual media ie photos and short vids.

App has been broken for months. I’ve been on and off meet me for ages One problem that never gets fixed is the fact it boots you, then makes your account inaccessible, then send an email stating you’ve been compromised. I’ve contacted developers to no avail and never hear backX I get this everyday/second day. Your data is not secure on this app. Find another one. Another is the quality of people. It’s just an app for people to sell illegal substances and abuse random people. Not a friendly place.

please fix this battery draining feature. I would like to see a better implementation of how to stop push notifications , I turned off all unwanted push notifications for the app(in the meetme app settings) to save my iphone from buzzing all the time , The only way to stop all of these unwanted push notifications is to actually turn off notifications for the whole app in the settings on my iPhone I would like to also see background app refresh added to the MeetMe App to make the app faster on launching Thanks from a MeetMe user

Good I guess. I think it’s very good app but my problem I have not any one and this app it’s susposed to meet people in real life right when I do chat with people and I hope to meet them in real life they either ask me to join porn sites or join trading investments which I am not really interested in or they block me so please make this better for people like me so I can meet people in real life in my state of my country I am from Perth Western Australia and I deverse to meet people from this app in real life so please change it and improve things so people like me have more of a chance on meeting people from this app in real life

Verify account is difficult. Some people on here are real and just when I’m in a deep conversation, I get flagged. Then can’t verify. I’m a subscriber but when I ask for help they can’t find my account with my provided email.

Stop hatin. I don’t know what’s wrong with those complainin. This is so much better then tinder and it’s for free. Plus you can find people in the local area. Big ups to the developers of this app.

Fake profiles. There are so many fake profiles that it’s impossible to meet someone in here genuine when you ask them anything all they want you to do is click on the link which goes into a page either they scam you or it is a dud these people I’ve got multiple accounts with the same pictures and pictures taking from the Internet it is so ridiculous that I do not recommend this website or this site to absolutely anyone at all if this is the way it’s been run even though I have been putting through so many reports

To many fake profile n spam Msgs. Would have given 5 stars but the amount of fake profiles and spam messages a day is a joke! They need to implement a live location so people pretending to be in other countries get kicked off! Most apps now use location on based on search criteria. Please fix and I will change my review.

Need to delete & reinstall every few days... There is an issue upon opening live streams this glitch needs attention its happening every 3 or 4 and the only way to solve this issue is to delete & reinstall the app. Beside that i cant fault it.

FIX THE STREAMING ISSUES. Every time I try to watch a stream it won’t load Then when I go to stream myself I can’t read my chat I’m tired of this, this wasn’t an issue 3 years ago!

Simply awful.. Worst sign-up process ever. Confusing, convulated - supposedly for everyone’s protection. Funny, doesn’t seem to stop the tsunami of prostitutes (yes, they openly declare their profession!) that bombard me whenever I log on. The age-range selection is rubbish. For someone my age, it’s ‘40+’ - and that’s it! So yes, I get hit on by 73yo women (I’m a very young looking 50yo), and everyone else that has has a severe beating with the Ugly Stick. So if you’re after prostitutes or the ugliest women on earth, sign up! Or move to Tasmania.

Should be 0 stars. I understand that many people on here are looking to hook up, but the behaviour is appalling. I was offered many times a couple of hundred dollars for you know what. Sickening. DONT GET THIS APP! I wanted to delete this app because it seems like 70% of the population on this app are either Transexual or Crossdressers and unfortunately I’m not here for that reason although they all bombard you with their sexual desires which id rather not be told. The worst part is if you want to delete your account it’s close to impossible they don’t email you I tried 20x and not one single response.

Needs a lot of improvement. This app needs a better way of separating those that are looking for relationships to those that are just looking for friends. It would also benefit from the ability to restrict which gender can message you. With the current setup it is just far too easy for creeps to fill up the chat log.

Terrible app. I used to live this app. Always worked on my Optus network and wifi, since changing to Telstra I can no longer view livestreams. I can do everything else except view livestreams as they don’t load. It used to work fine on Vodafone Optus and wifi networks but since changing my sim to Telstra I just can’t view live streams which is what I use the app for. Not happy. Seems like they have blocked Telstra or Telstra has blocked viewing streams on this app. Not happy.

Meh.. This is an okay app. I like how you can video chat chat with people and go live, but there’s a huge problem with people making fake accounts and scammers. I think before you make a MeetMe account that you should have to verify your pictures. I feel that would put a stop to all the fake accounts on MeetMe.

Blocking. I've blocked multiple people, people who are creeps and what not but they are able to talk to me after 2 days. I would prefer if it was permanent, as I don't want certain type of people messaging me constantly. I also don't understand, you say any sexual content will be banned, but have u even seen the live streams, their all sexual. Obliviously you guys don't follow ur own policy

Don’t bother!. This has to be the worst of the lot as far as these type of apps go. They ban for no reason and don’t get back to you to explain. They allow explicit pictures as profile ones with no repercussions. They allow blocked persons to become unblocked creating a whole new way to bully people. Bottom line it’s rubbish and Apple would be better off clearing house of this type of garbage.

Can’t log in. I can no longer log in when going through my iPad. It just keeps saying Log in failed. However I can log in through my Samsung phone. There’s a problem since your last update 2 Mths ago iOS. I think the problem is from that

Cannot delete my account. The only dating app worse than this is PoF. Full of bogans and fake profiles. I can’t even delete my profile after trying 4 times.. that’s ridiculous. Don’t waste your time. I have emailed the support team. Hopefully they confirm soon. Any app that needs that much effort to delete a profile is a waste.

Long time user honest review. Used this app for the better part of a decade on and off. Not bad for a free socialising app. Has some awesome features and has the potential to be in a league of its own as far as dating apps go but the huge amount of fake/spam accounts paired with the fact that there are a lot of gay/ trans catfish on there constantly harassing you makes it a fairly average experience(no hate just not what I’m into.)Met some great people on here but also been harassed by a lot of creeps in the process 😂 basically if these guys could sift out the fake/ spam accounts it would make for an amazing app ❤️

Pop up ads are ANNOYING. These pop up ads just came on recently. You’re in the middle of a conversation or typing out a message in a live, a pop up ad comes out of nowhere. If you want them to stop, you have to buy credits and it’s only 30 days. This app is a money gouger is all I have to say. Edit: July 1 - these pop up ads show up everY 10-15 seconds!! I HOPE EVERYBODY THAT WORKS AT MEETME GETS HERPES.

Asks For My Passport/ID???. If I could give 0 stars I would. I haven’t touched the app in years, decided to come back to it (same account) and everything was working fine until it randomly told me I needed to verify myself (again) and there’s no option to skip this. It forces you to do it too, and even demands a photo of your passport and personal information?! Absolutely not. Verifying myself with a photo should be more than enough. Please get rid of this feature, it’s unnecessary and there’s no telling what they do with peoples ID pictures

Horrible glitching!. I’m really disappointed with your app. Three days ago I set up a new account and 3 times I’ve had to reset my password because it constantly says it’s incorrect. I don’t log out of the app. Now when I touch the app it tells me to verify my phone number and when I do, it tells me that incorrect! Nothing but frustration!!!!!!

Fake profiles everywhere.. I started getting like some reviews almost immediately on the app almost all of them are bought and within about the first three hours of having the app one of the first messages I got was a VC sex cash message no joke.

99% fake accounts. They allow 100’s of fake accounts on the app than delete an account that has been verified many times and never broke the rules. This is why this app is garbage too. Just goes to show free apps are full of bots. They don’t protect the real accounts.

New ad delivery a mess. The ads were always kind of nonsensical on this app but with the recent update, having streams interrupted by ads I find myself using the app less. Having a stream interrupted by ads kills the vibe of chatting with people when someone is talking to you and suddenly you have an ad for some crappy mobile game and you miss what they said. you guys know you have a live streaming platform and this isn’t YouTube where you can pause and start up again with a mid roll ad.

Won’t let me delete my account. Fix your app, it won’t allow me to delete my account. I also entered an age limit in the setting and I am still getting people over the age limit messaging me. I entered the correct password and email however it’s not allowing me to delete my account.

Not worth using whatsoever.... I’ve tried using this app to find people with which to make connections with, but in all reality, it seems like the only really active “people” on this app are those who are “420 friendly.” Every other profile is a bot, which is evident as the first message sent to me 100% of the time being “Hi!” Meet me match is a joke, bc “admirers/obviously fake profiles spamming that section. It’s little more than a guessing game where the point is to find who the fake profile is. Profile/picture views are always fake accounts. I’ve given this app multiple chances over the past few years and nothing comes of it. You used to be able to use this app like Facebook and post in specific sections. There army least I could weed out real accounts from the fake, but even that was removed, so now for me there’s no real point in using MeetMe. Also can I just say that “Live” streaming seems like little more than a stoner popularity contest rather than a way to make genuine connections with actual people?

Customer Service won’t reply & accounts that rejected someone get flagged without being vetted.. So my account was flagged yesterday morning for some reason. So Okay, I go to unlock it, however, the site is telling my my mobile number is invalid? Pardon? If Twitch, Twitter and Google can use it, why can’t you? It’s valid. But so I click the Problem button only nothing happens. Please fix this. And please stop accepting tickets on my account just because I turned someone down. I responded to the email asking me to verify, within hours. After trying to find a solution on my own for an hour, and hunting down a way to contact support, I finally sent in an email. 13 hours later I had no reply. So I sent another one. Now it’s been 36 hours. Is my account still flagged ( because I dared to turn a guy down )? Yep. Has anyone at all responded to my emails? Nope. Tempted to take this to BBB. Update: 3 days later still no reply. 4 more emails sent. Deleting the app and reporting it.

Terrible Customer Support. I’ve have been hacked numerous times and had conversations basically just disappear completely. I would always get logged out so I would change my password but it kept happening. I noticed when I kept my profile low key I didn’t get any hacking but as soon as I showed more of my face I kept getting hacked. My account has now been permanently banned and they told me I violated terms of service which I did not. If anything I’m the one reporting people soliciting prostitution or sending unsolicited pictures. They were also not able to help me with my issue of not being allowed to stream because of a bug error. I’ve had this app for years on and off and met a few good people but I’m afraid this app doesn’t care for its users. Another thing is that I met really crazy people and actually had to call the cops on a person amongst other terrible experiences. Beware of this app it has a few good people but most of them I’d stay away from.

They kept my account live for 7 years without my knowledge. I started getting emails about a week ago about people liking me on meetme. I was super confused considering I didn’t have a meetme account? Every time i’d click the link in the email they’d insist i’d give them my number ‘for security’. I let it be for a week because I thought it was a scam and they were trying to take my info. I kept getting emails and finally downloaded the app to see the so called account that I didn’t know I had?? I didn’t know what the password was to I did the email password thing and changed it. This happened today and I was seriously scared, considering it knew my name. When I managed to loggin it forced me to put in my number (which i wouldn’t doubt they’d sell off or something scammy) and was shocked to see messages from other people for the past 3 weeks or so, and my name and age(?!?) on the account. I was absolutely freaking out because to my knowledge I didn’t make this account and had no idea who did or how they knew my email and age. I searched through my email to see if they had ever sent me other emails before and they did! In 2012. I must have made an account 7 years ago- but for some reason they made it active again? after 7 years??! I don’t understand why or how. I’m creeped out and think this app is super messed up. Do NOT download it. My previous review I made 5-6 hours ago isn’t showing up either, which is super shady in itself.

Curiosity didn’t kill the cat. I downloaded this app early February 2017 when I moved over seas to South America to meet new faces with similar interests as me. Having no clue how to speak Spanish fluently I looked for someone who had some knowledge of English. Low and behold 2 weeks within using the app, I accidentally get a recommendation of a guy who supposedly was in my city but instead the app hadn’t updated to his current hometown which was 8 hours away (driving). Well, long story short, after being cautious yet still curious and finally 6 months later of only writing to the guy we finally met and months later officially dated. We’re together almost 2 solid years now. I really wonder it would’ve been impossible to run into an amazing guy like him hadn’t it been for this app. I know it sound ridic and we may just have had our luck, but it’s worth a try if you’re that serious !

Full of fake accounts and scammers. I remember when this app used to be a fun place to make friends and not really date but no matter what this app used to be fun. But now this app is filled of fake scammers Who would say oh do you wanna be my sugar baby or do you want to do this it’s very inappropriate this app is not how it used to be at all. Every account it seems like it’s fake and it’s bad when you have to sit up there and question is this person real that I’m talking to or not. The amount of fake accounts is crazy and just so you know verification doesn’t mean anything on this app it doesn’t mean your account is real it doesn’t need anything you think it would like tinder but it doesn’t you can literally use a picture off of another device and scan it and be so-called verified it’s so easy to make a trick account and people get away with it don’t download this app be aware don’t give out your phone number don’t give out anything on this app because it’s so crazy how people can find information from the littlest things

Just like every app. This app is just like any other one you would see out there. Not much of a difference. There’s weird creeps only looking for sex no matter the age of the person on the app and even if you respectively decline them then you’re trash and they threaten your life. 99% of the people I’ve talked to do one of three things. They send me a nude vulgar picture, want sex and threaten my life, or actually start a half way decent conversation then yes to be friends with benefits and then when you say no it’s again with the life threatening. So just your run of the mill sh!* show. There’s no way to make friends. The only reason I rated it 5 stars is because I’d like people to possibly see my review before downloading. My real rate is a half of a star.

Ghetto app overall. So I’ve been on and off this app before they even started doing lives and I usually will never waste my time on anything revolving writing a review but it needs to be said that meet me is a full scam app within itself and should probably be delete by app stores The main annoying thing is that it sells everyone’s information and makes you “ verify “ your account but it makes you do that …. Almost every time you enter the app who’s even scanning our faces and ID ? That’s super weird and suspicious since it can’t remember that we already done it and act like we are fake yet there’s literally accounts where they go live and don’t show their real faces at all. The other annoying thing is even if they don’t let you log in they will keep your profile up and open even if you delete it for whatever reason maybe to act like they have more users than they actually do but the whole app needs to be sued

Can’t do anything on this app. I’ve had an account with this site since it was called myyearbook and decided to try to log back in. Already a problem. Couldn’t log with Facebook as it gave me an error message. So I tried to reset my password. I didn’t get the reset email for seriously 8 hours! By then, the link/code had already expired. Finally I tried one more time to reset my password and I miraculously got my email in a timely manner. So yay, I got to log in. BUT then I got a screen saying I needed verification and my account was flagged and I needed to download the app. So, I went and downloaded the app. Once I was logged in, the app was basically useless. Almost everything I clicked on gave me an error message. Couldn’t edit preferences, couldn’t even view my profile. Like how I am supposed to even verify my account? I was just stuck in an endless loop of uselessness. Not sure what to do at this point. All I really wanted to do was see if my pictures I had uploaded years ago were still on here.

Awful. This app is bad. Like really bad. And possibly the only reason I did not give it a one star is because it has potential but it is just so poorly run. This is probably one of the worst, if not the worst, dating apps out there. And I have experimented with several. Where to start? Well first, good luck matching or even connecting to a real person. 99% of the profiles are bots giving you a link to a sex site or a person luring you to another messaging platform to familiarize themselves with you only to ask you for money later. Second, the ads and the horrendous membership. You have to pay to get rid of the ads. Which ok, fine, I get it. Not the first time this tactic has been used. But what other benefits do you honestly really get? Especially from an app full of bots and fake profiles. The swipe game seems to have potential. And that is where I noticed more of the “real” people are accessible. But the problem is is you only get a limited number of likes! What? How? I am a paying member and you limit my likes?! Ok. Every other dating app out there you pay and get unlimited likes. Makes zero sense. And on top of it, you can not see who likes you whatsoever unless you miraculously match back with them. Finally, just offer better support. I feel no matter how many times I report a profile it makes no difference in the end. Do better! This app has so much potential but it is just so poorly run!

So frustrating. I’ve been a long time user on here, probably going on 2 years, and I have got to say there could be a ton of improvements. For one, almost no one replies or attempts to hold a solid conversation. Then there’s all the fake bot accounts, which I got to hand it too them, are pretty convincing. It just gets annoying after a while when you have multiple bots sending you the same messages ( “Hi!”). The other thing that drives me crazy about this app is the ads. Oh my god, I can’t even finish typing a sentence before an ad automatically pops up and interrupts. Not just once though, sometimes it’s multiple pop ups while I’m still trying to type. Also the app is called “Meet Me” and I can honestly say over these past 2 years I’ve maybe met 2 people in person. This is ridiculous and the people who are running this should go back to the drawing board and figure this out. To any new or anybody thinking about downloading, I highly recommend thinking twice before downloading.

S. C. A. M.. THIS APP IS A SCAM. STEER AWAY. I bought credits on this app, thinking i would actually get some followers, fans, or anything from spending my real dollars on an app. Not only did i not get any messages / interest during the time i was ‘boosted’ (what the app references to) but MeetMe took it upon themselves to remove ALL my photos on my profile, and as a consequence for my pictures apparently ‘not following guidelines’ resulted in them taking away all the credits i had YET to use also. So not only did i not get anything from the app, my photos were removed, and my credits stolen without any word from Support , or an email in regards to what happened. Just logged on, and everything was gone. Talk about walking into your house and it being empty.. In turn, i sent 2 emails to MeetMe customer service explaining my frustrations and asking for me $15 to be refunded as there was no service provided with money i spent, and now going on the 3rd week, still no word from their support team. I already contacted If you’ve been scammed by this app : Contact Apple about the issue ; I got my funds back in 72 hours of contacting them. REAL service. Contact your bank to make sure they know to NEVER allow/authorize this scamming app to take funds from you again. If this app could get negative stars, it would be to the maximum. Better suggestions : Yubo, Tinder, Yellow Pages, AddMe+, Houseparty.

Lazy developers let app be overrun by scammers. This app used to be pretty decent, but there has always been an issue with bots and spam. Now, the developers seem only interested in finding new ways to implement adds and push their useless live feature with all of its pointless microtransactions (how does a social/dating app benefit from this kind of stuff?). Meanwhile, other features, like match are unusable because 95% of matches are scam-bots, who immediately send links to illicit sites. You can report them, but there are so many that it is of no use. This has been the case for at least 2 years. I’m giving this app one star because, even though I have used it for a long time I have seen how lazy the developers are, and how they have put their own greed ahead of any attempts to improve the app or protect it from scammers. Case in point, my account was just deleted because meetme thought I was a bot.. even though I was helping by reporting every bot that messaged me. Congratulations meetme, you took a decent app and turned it into mocospace-tier garbage.

Why one star?. When I used this app about 4 years ago I remember talking to new people and being interested. There were a few cases where some people spoke bad things, but I reported them and went on. However, now there are many people on this app that use names that advertise inappropriate websites, and apps like Kik or snap chat. When I downloaded the app this morning I wanted to see how the app changed but it seems the app has not changed. This is terrible if children were to download the app, and since there no child protection or blockage, these people advising these acts are exposing children to inappropriate and disgusting things. There is a 18-20 rule but when I got on this morning people were sending me inappropriate things and when I reported them they where still there. What this app needs to be safe and kid friendly is face recognition. Also it should have a free feature to block older ages from texting people that are to young to read and see any of those things. Also the company needs to check people’s posts and people’s names and make sure it’s safe.

Banned for no reason. I’ve been using this app for a while but I should have listened to the reviews..This app is FULL of bots, scammers and creeps. I never had any real issues until I talked to an incel. He had offered me money for “photos” and I declined. Then I got a notice that my account was flagged and if I don’t verify my account in 72 hours I will be banned. I tried doing what the app was telling me to do to verify my account but it just kept sending me an error message with “your account can’t be verified at the moment. Please try again later.” I am so full of rage right now. I was banned for FOLLOWING the rules. If you download this app, be careful. Anyone can report you for anything and get away with your account being banned. I tried contacting the support team as well but I got nothing. On another note, there’s WAY too many bots, scammers and creeps on the app. More creeps than anything. Not even attractive creeps... Just be careful pls :( and always keep your location private. I was being stalked for a while.

Prepare for thirsty males. I understand that no matter what social media app you’re using, you’re definitely going to get some thirsty people..but the amount of thirst on this app is ridiculous. Not even 10 minutes of having this app and I had at least 20 guys asking for pictures and wanting to hook up. I’ve had it for over 2 months now and I would say I have a little over 1,000 messages. I used to go live, but I stopped using the app completely because I have a stalker now. This man has been looking for my house and even sends me pictures of him being 2 blocks away from where I live (he lives over an hour away). I tried blocking and reporting him, but when I went live after blocking him he was able to watch and comment. I personally kicked him from the live but he found his way back. If you can handle stalkers and thirsty men, go for it, but if you can’t I wouldn’t suggest getting the app. My opinion and my experience tho so you do you.

Why can't I get in??. Ok so this app was a really great app while I had it and like the woman were really nice. I honestly just got this app to talk to people while I was at work. I made lots of friends and like they were really sweet, so if any of my friends on this app are wondering why I'm not talking or responding to any of your text messages it's because I can't get the app anymore and I'm logged out so yeah. Hope the creaters are reading this because I really want my account back and I really hope to get it back. I hate that I am logged out. My screen time used to be 16 hours of screen time when I had this app, now I only have 8 hours of screen time! 😢 Please pretty please can you give me my account back! 😭 now I'm sitting around doing nothing on Facebook all day because I dont have the meetme app anymore! From bad to worse. As if the bots and scammers weren’t bad enough. Along with all the perverts sending unsolicited pics and disgusting messages... all of a sudden it logged me out today and o received an email stating there was suspicious activity on my account and to change my password. Several attempts to reset my password it won’t let me log in saying it’s invalid. I send feedback that in all the years of using this app on and off they never ever reply to or fix anything. I tried making new account with two different emails and it says the same thing. Even with all the crap on the site I have met some okay people over the years and I made a decent connection with someone to have normal conversation with but no way to contact them now because of this horrible app. It was somewhat entertaining and a way to pass time but nothing to take seriously. I’m not even going to bother trying with this piece of junk and wouldn’t recommend it. And they only reason I gave it one star is because you can’t give zero.

Found my soulmate.. I’m making this review 5 years after I used it, so bare with me. This app has bugs, lots of ads, and a bunch of scammers. HOWEVER, about 6 months into using the app and surfing through people I’d never talk to again, I was matched with this beautiful, perfect girl who I thought would have just left me on read. But we started talking, and one thing led to another. Before I knew it we were moved in together. November 1st will be our 5 year anniversary and I’m going to propose. I never thought a silly app would help me find my soul mate, but it did. I couldn’t be happier with the person I’m with and I can thank the people that created this app for helping me find her. Out of the billions of people in the world I somehow managed to find my other half.

Hit or Miss. I’ve definitely met some scum bag people on this app. People that have used me, only wanted sex, etc etc. And of course there are a lot of predators but that’s gonna be anywhere you go. Just gotta use your common sense. Also, yeah there’s a lot of marijuana users but i’ve never ran across someone that did heavier. You can usually tell the difference. Also, in the live chats you cannot post or write inappropriate things or your account will be deleted immediately, so i wouldn’t be too concerned about that. Now, you might be wondering why i gave it 4 stars, that’s because i’ve met my future husband on this app. Never knew him before he messaged me. And he’s sweet and loving and i couldn’t imagine myself with someone else. I want him to be the father of my children. So maybe i just got lucky, or maybe this is a decent app, but either way i thank them for bringing us together. :)

Popular. This site is good the people bring it down a few pegs. Other than a few glitches at random the functionality of this site is great. There is a great balance between the payed and unpaid features. It’s really taking the best of other dating sites and putting them together in a harmonious fashion. It’s a great place to chat or if you’re interested discover your own potential popularity. The downside if you wanna call it that,is that this is not the site for those looking to date. That is due to the clients populating the site. You have the usual bots and scammers as any free site. Site moderators seem to eliminate them fairly quickly. You can find someone to chat with easily. Response time from females lags do to the volume of messages they receive. None as yet seem to be interested in dating. Disclaimer this could vary from person to person. The majority seem interested in there own popularity.

Worst dating app to have ever been used. Meetme was good in the past now it just seems completely unfair. Women get better app usage and even faster updated stuff then men. And meetme is very weird about only showing black people black people like they don’t date outside they race. They also let women be racist in preference but won’t let men do the same. The app should be taken down or completely redone or just done away with altogether. I personally would like to speak with somebody whose made this app and have them explain to EVERYONE why they do the stuff they do to make hate even more optionable on the app. Certain Women don’t wanna be bothered by dudes and I get that so make blocking available on messages and also take every woman and man on there off that’s not seeking a relationship. The apps main use was to find relationships and people for those yet it’s a majority of married women looking for attention they don’t get at home which is beyond sad at this point.

NOT WORTH IT!. This isn’t from personal experience but it’s from what I’ve heard from other people: This app used to be fun now it has become very dangerous. I used to meet a lot of people (friendly and real people) on the app however the terms and conditions have changed and it has become boring and I don’t get messages as much (possibly because of the way I look). I’d also like to mention how much of a risk this app is and how no matter how much the app is trying to put a stop to spam accounts, they aren’t trying hard enough. This innocent app has now become a scam. Not just an ordinary scam but a scary and uncomfortable scam that could make you feel uneasy and uncomfortable as you go on through life as it will keep you thinking in the back of your mind if you’re safe to walk outside without being watched. This app is also a way to easily become a victim of blackmail too. So with that being said, this app is not worth your time and stay as far away from it as you can.

It could be worse..... I’ve had MeetMe on and off ever since it was MyYearbook. Honestly, it’s went downhill more and more ever since they changed the name. The only reason I come back to it is because it’s free and I enjoy making friends. The past year or two when my account isn’t being paid for with a monthly subscription my account has to get verified and my phone number never seems to work for some reason so I have to email support. Like I’ve deleted my entire account because it happened on a weekly basis in the past when fake profiles and people trying to prostitute themselves never seem to get deleted or anything. Their is a lot of hate speech, trolling, unwanted pictures, and so on. You’ll find a few decent people to befriend or something more on this website, but mostly it’s people wanting money, wanting sex, or poly couples. It’s harder to find people who are just wanting friends or a real committed relationship. Also be careful because internet stalkers are horrible on MeetMe..

The app itself. The app itself works very well it’s smooth and he got rid of a lot of glitches it was heaving. Streaming can be a lot of fun it’s a good way to spend the evening talking to friends making new friends and get a queen with the people. Most of the people in streamer friendly. If you’re looking for romance let me see there’s a lot of catfish a whole lot of scammers and most of what you’re talking to is bots. I have had no success whatsoever with dating at all. Most of the lakes are bots trying to get you to go to their website. Most of the people that you meet be careful because most of them are scammers try to get you for money. But the streaming makes the app worthwhile whether you stream yourself or you follow others it can be a lot of fun.

Not worth the headache.. I used to love this app and it used to be a really reliable way to meet new people in the area you live in. Recently however I’ve decided I wanted to delete my account feeling that I no longer use it as much as I used to. However when I attempted to delete my account it wouldn’t let me claiming I needed to confirm my account. I attempted to do just that but it would not allow me. Mind you I have the newest Iphone so it was not a technical issue. I attempted to delete account again and it just kept telling me the same thing so I attempted to reach out to the support team. My problem now was getting ahold of support from MeetMe. I have attempted reaching out on 3 different occasions and still have not received any email back. Please don’t even bother with this app it is more headache than necessary. No one is looking to meet new people and others are either creeps or just on the app to make live videos. So many fake accounts No regulation going on at all. For as long as I can remember I have been getting messages from fake accounts some act like they’re nearby while others are states away and yet they have a tendency of of acting like a female (catfishing). How is it that I make several reports about accounts and there is still people out there making fake accounts to waste peoples time. I get sent links to websites that request for me to put up my debit/credit card asides from the naked pictures they send. I report and it does not seem to be helping at all. You guys let them get verified with fake accounts it doesn’t make sense. Someone needs to fix this problem right away, every single time I get online they some how know and decide to start liking my account and messaging me spamming me with fake information. I am very tired of trying to get on the app just to block a couple of accounts report them and make sure they don’t get back online on another account. PLEASE FIX THE BOTS ON THIS APP IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ATLEAST A COUPLE OF YEARS.

Very buggy/and they discriminate. This is not the kind of application that you use if you’re bisexual or pansexual or anything like that because meet me is not a diverse platform they want to see that they are put there not I was using my profile is just fine barely activated to be honest because I’m on Snapchat more. And I got kicked out of that but I was still getting emails about my account so then I was able to access my account via my email and web browser for weeks. But not the app he kept saying that it was an incorrect information but then I never got emails from them letting me know that my account was locked or anything. And then today April 23, 2020 all the sudden my account doesn’t load and I assume that I’ve been kicked out of that too with no email or notifications or explanation. And I have met other girls who have had the same issue with this platform not catering to a diverse population. And it’s pathetic considering that you’re based out of Long Island New York

Glitchy. Have never had any issues with running the app until the last few weeks. Running the most up to date IOS on my iPhone, IOS 11.1.2 and the Meet me app is very, very glitchy when I try to tap on the “meet” button and 90% of the time won’t even load any people on that page and just keep acting like it’s loading in. Occasionally it will load people in, scrolling Is very laggy on the page when it does load and if I click on someone and then click the back button to browse some more it glitches and loads forever again. App does not need updated in my App Store, everything is up to date. It’s so laggy I never use meet me anymore and refuse to because of how slow and laggy is it for me and my phone gets super hot if I try to load it for too long. Please fix this y’all! 😩

Not the ideal app for dating. I’ve been using MeetMe ever since they were “MyYearBook” and it has gone downhill. First let’s get to the app details. I make sure to use this app while my phone is charging, it eats up battery life like crazy! And it also makes my phone overheat. It’s laggy and the ads can be very annoying. Now, if you enjoy getting random nude pics sent to you, profiles with fake pictures (catfish), only interested in hookups...then this is the app for you! You can get all of the above, the minute you sign up. Sure, I’ve met a couple of people who ended up being good friends, but it took to long to find. The block button is my best friend on the app. You must have the patience to tolerate the messy community that within MeetMe. I don’t recommend this app for minors, too many creeps and things you can’t unsee! I would like to make a suggestion for meetme, and that is to have a photo verification so it will be easier to distinguish who is a catfish and who is not.

Harassment and defamation of character. Don’t waste your time or money- these people and the streamers they promote are above common law and don’t observe many basic rights that everyone should have including the right to safety meaning not turning a blind eye to their most highly promoted users literally threatening people along with threatening potential physical violence. They asked for a PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPH to verify my account which mind you I had to do ON A DAILY BASIS due to false reporting which they also don’t care about! I sent in a photograph of myself holding up a paper with the required information written on it INCLUDING my email…guess what? As of today my account is now GONE!!!! I emailed the company and they said there is no trace of my email! How is that even possible?! I have proof and I will be pursuing legal action. What happens to our private information or photos that the company requests of us?!?! This is insanity! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeting people. Although this app is supposed to help u get in touch with people there is a serious issue with all the fake profiles . These people can make up any random fact and use anyone’s picture to create a profile. I have actually talked to some of these people who are from other countries and have talked them into showing them self to me. I would say that 80 percent of the profiles are not real . I think these apps should screen the person before they are allowed to make a profile.A way to see the person before they are allowed. In . I have wasted so much time with these profiles that after 6 months I probably spoke to two real people ! Something needs to be changed and other apps for dating are just as bad.

I can’t login on my phone, I can’t stream. I am not able to login to the app from my iPhone , I can access my account from friends iPhone and he has the same exact iPhone as me, and I can login to the app on any other device but my phone. I stream daily but I can’t since I stream from my iphone. And it is a huge problem for me. It’s been a week now and no response from support yet…so frustrating. It seems like it is something on you’re side that’s locking me out and preventing me from accessing the app on my phone.I have no problem to login to my account on other devices. But on my phone it says invalid login. While my email and password is valid because I can login on other devices. I’ve been messaging support for past 7 days and no response. My phone is the only device I have to stream. Can someone help? I really need it to be working.

Total scam app violates privacy!. Dude, I made an account through Facebook and after searching for about 1 minute it randomly says I have been flagged and need to download the app to verify. It’s a manipulation tactic to have everybody download the app, and as soon as I do, it doesn’t recognize my login, and it says “need help? Contact us!” Which you do and ALL you can do is submit “feedback.” There’s no instructions on how to verify yourself, or be contacted back, it’s all literally a scam for the App Store to manipulate data to appear as if it’s bigger than it is, but the truth is people create accounts which are immediately hijacked with all their personal information and then after days of maybe getting back in, by that point they have tailored your experience for you based on all the questions you answered, preferences, etc, so you have no way of knowing if all the people they put in your face as “local singles” are real or scammers, because you get scammed by the app itself. This is so dumb.

Best App for Connecting with Local’s in your neighborhood!. I have honestly always been a fan of skout since I moved away from my families house in Somerville MA. From the time I got my own place around 19 years old, (10 years ago or so) I found that both Skout and MeetMe to be the best way to connect! You find really nice, and genuine people to become friends with and meet! This app helps you feel a way of connecting with new friends while adapting to the new neighborhood and chatting with them while being busy with work, school, or whatever you have going on! Changed my life. I got this app maybe a few years ago to meet new people. (I was never a social person and didn’t get out much). I chatted with a few guys but it never lasted long as i alway lost interest. & then i matched with this guy who was super attractive, so attractive i thought he was a fake account so i kinda ignored him for a bit lol since i wasn’t responding to his messages on the app he found me on Facebook, Instagram& Snapchat sounds stalkerish but I’m glad he did) once i saw he was legit i replied to his messages and we started talking. We eventually decided to meet up for coffee and the rest is history. Years later we’re married, own a house and have a 1 yr old son together. And to think i almost let him get away! But yeah thanks to this app i met the love of my life, now husband and father to my child ❤️ crazy how life works.

Nice dating app. I love this app so much a friend actually introduced me to this app at first I was skeptical cos of the so much online scam going on nowadays but I finally found someone who’s chemistry matches mine and now we are getting more acquainted. Except for the fact that I was continuously being locked out of my account which looks like I was actually being blocked by the site and i had to keep creating new account before I finally found the woman I am with now please you guys should fix that and quit blocking people unknowingly from their accounts, it hurts. Imagine talking to someone who you just met on the app only for you to notice you have been automatically locked out or blocked it’s disheartening so you guys better work in that.

Excessive Verification. This is an old site, I’ve been using it off and on for years and discovered sometime last year they had an app. Don’t bother. Seriously, don’t even think of making an account on this site. It’s full of bots, yeah, but the real issue is the verification system. I don’t mind verifying at all. Usually the process is easy, and normally you only have to do it once. Not MeetMe. What they do instead is harass you nearly constantly and threaten to delete your account if you don’t verify within three days. Fair enough, whatever, but the issue is it doesn’t matter. You’re going to have your account randomly locked and have to verify again and again and again. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the middle of updating your account, in a conversation with someone, or swiping through accounts, you can’t get access until you verify again. I have verified myself over fifty times in the last year, some within days of each other. April had four alone. I took screenshots of my email inbox (they send a whole biometric data thing to you) and forwarded it to support asking them to please stop the harassment, I’m obviously verified and have been consistently. Support responded, gave me access, said it would stop. But here I am, a little over a week since, and my account is once again locked and demanding verification. I have screenshotted it, sent it to support and told them to just delete my account because I’m done.

*APP CREATORS* This app Can be extremely unfair. I HOPE the makers of this app see my review because I know I'm not the only one with the following problems. There HAS to be a way to appeal photo or post removals! Why? Because there's a TON of petty men and women who will report things just because they can. If i, as a woman, post anything that the men don't agree with(for example: women on here don't exist for your pleasure) all the butthurt men will report it and get it removed. There has to be a better more fair system! I've had so many accounts deleted simply because some men were butthurt over my honesty and asking to not be sexualized and to stop sending weird messages. I posted a picture of myself in leggings, that is also my Facebook profile picture, and I'm honestly not sure why it was deleted and there's NEVER an answer, warning, or way to APPEAL. I genuinely gate this system it endorses petty people to gang up on someone and get their entire account deleted simply because they don't like that person's opinions. It's ridiculous.

What's going on??. Yes you need to keep working on this app with matches and admires. I been having this app for 1 year if not more. Everything was going fine. Into my profile was deleted. I just couldn’t log in. It kept saying this “account can’t log in try another time.” Then I try it 3 days later. nothing. Same problem. Can’t log in. I gave up, created a new account. Now I can’t post pictures. How I’m going to meet people if I can’t upload pics to my profile!? How? Don’t really care about the other thing that you guys gotta fix but, if someone can’t even upload pictures. I feel like you guys have a good success with this app but, you guys barely do any changes. It seems like you guys don’t want to keep improving your app. Or seem like you guys don’t care at this point because I can’t even upload pictures. Please fix this problem, this is a great app to meet people near your area and it’s fun but you have to keep improving it before your app is gone.

Terrible Experience. I don’t write reviews often, however I am extremely frustrated with this app. I have emailed customer support multiple times with no response. I have been logged out of the app for no reason at all & each time I attempt to log back in, I get a service error message. I’ve spent a lot of time and energy and money on this app & it’s ridiculous I can’t get back in. I’m starting to feel like this app is nothing but scam… so many issues with the app itself from random lapses in audio making you to quit your live stream, force close the app, & start the stream completely from scratch… to the comments that randomly stop working, with the only way to fix it again being to force close the app & starting the stream completely from scratch. Someone please help me get back into my account!!!! There are way too many people using this app for the quality to be so poor. Fix it chile.

You have to do better, meetme. Obviously for some reason this app attracts a lot of strange activity. I still think it’s a decent way to meet people when not meeting someone in person. However, this app is just flat out poorly programmed. I’ve never seen such a low quality app. From how the pictures and comments are displayed to how you upload pictures and share content. There’s is always some weird offbeat stuff going on with the operation of this app. The latest trouble that I’ve had with this app and verifying myself. I haven’t used my profile in almost a year. I get back on and it says that my profile has been flagged for spam. Okay. When I go to verify myself, it says my number is invalid. How is that possible? Later it just says to download the app and it will give me instructions. I download the app and log in and still says that the profile is flagged and that I need to download the app to continue. I go front eh browser to the app and they both tell me to download the app and give me no real way to get back into my account.

Login issue and account hacked issue. I enjoy using this app and meeting and talking to peeps I have met on it ever since it was my yearbook. But as the past three days I’ve experienced being logged out of the app without even touching it and my account has been hacked a second time now . When I tried logging in to my account it tells me invalid information when I know my information for my account is the correct information I use to log in in to my account every time I login in it . I’ve tried contacting meetme support team via email more than three times to report the situation and no one has returned any emails to me on how to fix the problem. It would be greatly appreciated if meetme support team would be more active to users problems and reply back to them the day it’s been reported to them then not saying anything to users at all . So if meetme group sees this please do your job and respond back promptly. I don’t want to lose my account all because things are not being fixed by support team in a timely manner.

Meet me. My phone was hacked I didn’t realize it so I don’t know what happened but without warning you blocked all my emails even on my laptop which I haven’t ever used ... I have an Apple case number but nobody has unblocked me yet ... you should not be able to get into my private accounts and emails either according to my attorney... so someone needs to unblock me ASAP I haven’t violated any terms of service if so let people know what they did wrong not just hack into all their emails that’s unlawful... Correct your mistakes and if you want my case ID let me know ... been on here since 2014 with no problems ... You send me an email to write support but I’m blocked on all emails on this new phone and my laptop not even affiliated with no explanation but I violated terms of service after explaining I have a case number from Apple regarding someone hacking into my phone IP during the date you permanently locked all my accounts... how did you even get access to all my emails that were never used on your site ? Illegal to do ... on your end so fix the problem I’ve even been a premium member and been on since 2014

More scammers here than any other dating app I’ve been on. This app caters to the scammers. The only thing you have to do to start sending messages on this app is put in a name and a location. The location is not attached to GPS or anything else they can put in anywhere they want to and any name they want. Several times a day I can open up my request page and there be for pictures of the same person I’ll have different names and different locations. And there can be two or three people like that all at the same time. You can block him and delete them and they will be back on there with another name in another location three hours later. There is a place to verify that the person signing up for the account is the person in the picture. But not everyone is required to do that. I’m not sure how you get out of doing that because you can’t get past that page if you don’t verify yourself. Or I can’t anyway. They have absolutely no regulations on these scammers and there are more scammers than anything on this app.

I have tried every feature this app has to offer and I want to start by saying you must try out the Live feature. The meetme community is based all around the world and you can find very amazing people with awesome talent. If you’re looking for someone locally, YOU HAVE THAT OPTION. I’ve seen the other reviews talking about catfishes, you will literally find that on every single app you ever use! So, yes their are people who catfish on here. But we all know what those look like by now. If you want to find someone real, I suggest going to the Live feature and trying out date/next. If you have a problem with this app, you’re not trying out all of the features. I promise, it’s worth you time and it’s FREE!

Loaded with catfish. Not only is this app now loaded with catfish they have even gotten brazen about it. Be careful when you contact someone and almost immediately get picture reply and offer to have sex just go to link to verify your identity. I am never stupid enough to do that but when you call them out on it they bait you into a racy exchange and then delete their portion and report you for inappropriate comments. For some reason this is the only dating app I have been on where the user can get reported over and over and still pass verification (just checks for a live person not that the picture matches the person) also supposed to have location verification but in under 4 hours I have seen a person move from Alabama to California to Minnesota to Ghana. I have seen profile pictures change from looking like a teenage girl to an old man and yet the profile still passes verification there has to be some way to weed out the fake profiles

Soooo much potential. This app has allowed many people to have a social life again! I’ve made friends who live near me and even in other countries. If you’re looking for love I guess I can honestly say it’s possible to find on here (speaking from experience) but really it’s a great place to make friends and streaming has become fun. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I get way too many messages from fake accounts and also I keep seeing people get banned for no reason. So from someone who loves this app I say to the developers keep it up try and fix the issues but just know the platform as of now is amazing so don’t change it and only add a little bit to it. Thanks for creating this app it has made life a bit more enjoyable. If anyone wants some tips or just want to chat look me up ThatGuyTy
