Pleasantly Surprised. I have had a couple of run ins with these kind of apps before, with dissatisfied, glitchy results. This one: smooth, easy, quick scanning and brought up the price comparison list effortlessly multiple times. Great product, highly recommend. Using an iPhone 4S

Very good app, just a step away from greatness. This app is incredibly useful, and is far better than any other app of this sort that I've tried with the exception of one feature that I really need from it: copying the scanned text into the clipboard automatically. Why is this omission? Nearly every other QR or barcode scanner app that I've tried has this feature. Please implement this very simple feature, and this could easily become a five star app, in my opinion.

Instantaneous. Just one simple shot of a barcode and, BOOM, just like that, I have all I need to know about the product. Best on the market IMHO.

Works every time, 47% of the time. Either could not find or would find wrong item nearly every time it was used. It did work several times and it worked well when it did, but I didn’t find it useful and accurate enough to keep. Glad it was free.

Great app. I have used this app for few months now it work great use it for work all the time to make sure bar codes are reading correctly

Unhappy. This app used to give you product information when you scanned a product. Now it just forwards you to Google Shopping, where you have to manually type in the product name. If the scanning function does nothing, why do I need this useless middle step?

I'm surprised!. The scanner does exactly its purpose and immediately after scanning it shows u a list of places that u can buy a product and all the prices an item costs!!

Broken App. This app is not functioning. I bypassed creating an account so when I scan a barcode it takes me to google and google asks what I am looking for. I thought that was due to not creating an account so I created an account. I then scan a barcode and it does the exact same thing! App Support does not work. The website takes you to a page that says Unauthorized and there is no option to delete my account. Now, yet another clown has my email address…😠good work!

Fast. Fastest. Doesn’t take too much to read, only negative is it’s always taking to google search.

A Mystery How to Use It. How to use it is a mystery. Open the app and it doesn’t give a chance to scan anything. It just goes to Google Shopping. Can’t get to a help screen. Isn’t a barcode scanner supposed to scan a barcode then provide information?

Don't use it much but seems to work well when I do.. App pulls up the information well.

Easy and fast. Point and it does the rest. Quick results once scanned.

Only Online Products. I downloaded this app because of all the great reviews. I enabled location services for it but it only shows online stores for everything I scan. I've even tested it on products I just purchased locally but the app still only gives results for online stores. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. If it requires me to "sign in" then I guess I'm out of luck because I do NOT want to do that.

Lost. I was a dedicated user of this app but it doesn’t work anymore and I was trying to figure out if it was because I had to many scans but hell I can’t even figure out how to delete the history. Hate to get rid of this app but I need to scan items when I go shopping. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Any scan takes you to Google Shopping!!. This app has been hijacked! It used to work. Now, no matter what I scan it takes me to a paid ad page for Google Shopping. There is no update visible on the App Store. I am now removing what was once a simple and usable barcode reader app. Perhaps this was part of the ios13 upgrade.

Used to work. I used this app yesterday and worked perfectly but now using it today even on the stuff I scanned yesterday “Google shopping” has just been coming upas if I wanted to search something

They screwed it up. I have had this barcode scanner for a long time and it worked well but the last several times I’ve used it all that comes Up is google “ what are you looking for “ the item you scan doesn’t look up. They did some kinda updates that screwed it up. Now it’s useless.

What happened?. I absolutely loved this app. It was my replacement for RedLaser. Why is it no longer functioning?

Lightning Fast Reader. It scans the QR barcode and brings up the URL lightning fast (on my iPhone 7 plus). Just what I needed.

Barcode scanning. Hi! This is my review/opinion: I thought when you scan the barcode it will take you directly to the shopping page but instead it just takes you to the goggle shopping website and you have to type the name of the item and when you search up a barcode that has nothing to do with shopping it still takes you to goggle shopping.

Awesome!. I had an app similar to this one, years ago. Every other scanner gave me either the wrong item or couldn't find it. This one has been right every time. I love it!

Sign up for what !. That bs should have been in the description, I wanted a barcode reader and to be able to create them. Other then signing up, for what I don't know & don't plan on doing. So as long as I can skip over it I will continue to use this app. As It's is very fast and saved me some money a favorite store trying sell something as a bogo, which I was sure was the regular price so I looked it up and was correct saved me 10 dollars. Yay And to the developer want more than one star remove the sign up nonsense make it so I can create barcodes and I'll give you five stars.

Great!!!. The app is beyond useful in every way, and it searches for the products faster than every other app that I have seen... it's a five star from me!!!!

Indispensable App!. This app is reliable & works seamlessly. Also, it has even located items that have been discontinued for years! Wow! Reliable results perfect for anyone who sources.

Ridiculous. This app is garbage!!!! I hate the creators of this app!!! I just wanted a simple barcode scan on some stupid shirts at Walmart but this sad, pathetic app sent me to some stupid google shopping link. This literally does not work. It just doesn’t. If you check the reviews, you’ll see that there are more one-star reviews than any other rating. I am pleased to join those ranks and give this one star. I’m pretty sure all the five-star ratings are bots sent by the company. Words cannot describe how much of a letdown this was.

Great for QR Links !. I just use this to load links from QR codes and it works fast, stores link history, and has a flash always on option. Click the link and it loads the page. I also haven't really seen any ads other than the 'buy pro now' link on the history page. Pro also doesn't seem to have any benefit other than to support the developers. A lot of the poor reviews are from people looking to scan store items and bring up a price comparison for items online. This app is really not sophisticated enough for that. It works great as a simple QR link reader !

Great App For Price Checking. I get every price on all my items & let's me know what store & how much they are easy to use & it comes in handy when at the store & you need to check a price really quick

This vs. Pro version. The pro versions page is identical to this page(except for the word "pro") word for word. There is never a mention about pro features and functions, how they differ, nothing. That's very frustrating to see. How is that even possible? It's your App. One would think that of all the responsibilities you have in your life that the simple descriptions of your apps would be paramount. There are only a couple of reasons why you have them the same. One being that they are the same. If that's the case then shame on you. Another reason could be that you're lazy. That's unlikely nevertheless if it happens to be true then shame on you. Here's where conventional wisdom drops off and reasons become scarce.

Barcode Scanner. Its a good app in my opinion. There arent any ads getting in the way of a scan. You can see the price & where it was purchased from.

Very impressed!. This app is extremely accurate. I have already found products and books for the lowest price because of this app!

Fast and accurate. Works well and it’s very fast! Definitely good to carry around whenever you’re shopping around.

Not that good for obscure items. Tried to scan a type of art paper I have in my collection to find out if it is primarily for charcoal and it would not give any information and instead searches the internet for the barcode number which naturally comes up with nothing

Works fast, but only online item results. The app scans barcodes super fast, but I can’t say I can do much with the results. It mainly just pulls up a list of prices online for the item AND other similar items. For example, I scanned a barcode for a regular bottle of olive oil and the results included pricing online for that and several other brands of olive oil as well as large packs of olive oil bottles.

This is a waste of precious times. It takes you to every app you have to change the settings and even when you spend over an hour doing that you still don’t know where the item originally came from

Wow. The best bar scanner ever used the only thing that's wrong with it is that I try to scan A soap holder but said it couldn't find it every thing and my bathroom work except for my soap holder

Amazing and very good app. At first I thought it might not be able to run all codes. But it does. Honestly this is good. Sometimes it can't find all the info or links. Wish it will be repaired. Best of luck!

Malodorous. As virtually every review from the last 2-3 years will show, this app no longer functions. Why it is still available is beyond me! Completely useless, takes me to the google shopping page every time!

Doesn’t scan anything. I’ve had this on my phone(s) for a few years, different versions of iPhones. I hadn’t used it in a while but needed it tonight. It scanned NOTHING. All it would do is take me to a blank Google page. I tried going to their web site but it never loaded. I checked their Twitter page and they haven’t posted anything since 2011. I guess this app is dead or obsolete now, so why is it still available?

I've had better. Overall unhappy with this app, upon installing I scanned some various items from around the house and was only able to find results on one of them. Doesn't work well on any barcodes except standard UPC ones, that's all I could get it to scan.

Doesn’t Scan The Barcode Properly. This app doesn’t scan the barcode. The moment the barcode starts to enter into the alignment frame, the app instantly takes you to a google shopping page that doesn’t even remotely relate to the item your scanning. It happened so fast that at first I thought that I was being redirected to an ad. But even after clicking “Done” when I tried again it did the exact same thing.

So far, so good.. Have only had this for a couple of days but it seems to work just fine. It's certainly faster than the competitor I was using and which has now been deleted.

Doesn't work ...Sorry!. Scans maybe one barcode then gives up... Doesn't recognize any bar codes as products? Can see URL codes but not always reliable. Certainly useless for Australian users... Sorry poor app waste of time!

No good on Aussie products. Scanned a foreign book and was taken to multiple Australian websites where it could be bought - great! Headed to the pantry and it was useless. Didn't recognize the Vegemite, Nescafe, Capilano honey or Brands Laira wine. It did work well on Drambuie. So if you're an Aussie looking for at an imported product, great. But otherwise ...

Handy. Great app. Takes a little time to focus the camera, but that may be a iPhone issue, rather than the app itself. Awesome!

So I downloaded this app in the hope it would assist me to search items available from a range of stores and identify indicative market value of the item...unfortunately it has not identified one item scanned...simply opens Google yet doesn’t even search? Is this cause I live in the Southern Hemisphere perhaps? Either way, crapola

iPod. I have an iPod it doesn't work so well it worked once and then started to load this app needs an update

So far, so good. I just downloaded and tried a few random scanning apps and so far this one gets my favourite vote. Its crazy quick, and opens to show you the results almost immediately. It is not find results a few things i had hoped it would, but it recognizes more than the other comparable apps i tried. If it does not find results it still shows the numbers for the code it scanned, and despite its crazy fast speed it has gotten them all right.

Worked for most QR codes tried. Had this application for a while. It had worked for QR codes in the past. Latest upgrade now it doesn’t read QR codes or regular UPC codes. Keep on trying to scan the codes and the app now does nothing. It doesn’t tell you there is an error - it doesn’t tell you anything. Will be removing the app as it’s non-functional. 👎🏻

No longer works😩. Up until recently - July 2018 - this was the absolute best scanner around - lightning fast and accurate with two sources to check. Now it does not work or process at all. Please read this review and update your app to make it great again!

Only designed for product codes. While the description says it scans "all sorts of barcodes", this is a lie. The app works brilliantly on UPC codes, and some other product codes, and not at all on anything else. Try reading a barcode on a USPS packing slip or a UPS package - won't work.

Not recognizing Barcodes from Image file. App accesses library, but does not recognize any barcode on image file. (Image file created with snapshot from screen displaying an 2d ean barcode.) Hope someone will be able to get this work.

Totally useless app. This didn’t work for the one reason I tried to use it. I am in a store and want to see if the item I’m holding can be found online. The problem is this app only works for online products..... what a useless app! Better ones on the App Store.

Not really a barcode scanner. It doesn’t scan a barcode unless it is a product (so that the developer can make money from potential sales). It’s useless unless you use it for shopping. The app name is seriously misleading. It’s NOT a barcode scanner. It’s a shopping tool.

Worst bar scanner ever. I got the app and it didn't work, so I decided to upgrade it to the PRO. I paid and bought the upgrade. IT DOESN'T WORK! I scanned an air conditioning unit and it said it was a water bottle. I tried it on several other things and it still didn't work, DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!

Barcode can never find product. I'm rating it only 1 star because first of all the rate review pops up every second of the time you try to scan. Then if you click "not now" , it suddenly can't find the item.

Fast but useless to me. I gave it a 5 for speed and a negative 5 for the results. I randomly picked 10 food items in my kitchen and pantry. It found absolutely nothing in no time at all.

Stop asking me to write a review!. I'm trying to scan about 400 DVDs. After every 10th the app asks me to write a review. The app works great and it's fast, but the review question is making me crazy.

Junk. I use to use this and then when I got my new iPhone X I downloaded the most recent updated app. Tried scanning various things around the house and every time it took me to a Google home search page and did nothing. Waste of time...

Doesn’t work. I downloaded this app... created an account and tried to scan several barcodes..! It sounds like it is done and automatically opens google search.... and that’s it.!! The google search is empty and any information appears there.!!

Loving it. This is amazing I can scan any barcode and it’ll work it’s amazing

Location is wrong with no way to fix it. This app gets my location wrong no matter what I do. There is no way to adjust the location in the app. Not very helpful

Doesn’t work. When I scan a barcode it takes me to google but no results pull up. I’ve scanned 20 different items and nothing came up, it was a blank google search.

USELESS. This app does absolutely nothing helpful. When you scan a barcode, it simply opens a blank “Google Shopping” search page. Developer’s website is defunct, as is the “support” website.

Garbage. Doesn’t work properly. I scanned three different items to try and it would scan then take me to Google and nothing would come up...not even a message saying couldn’t find item. 3 thumbs down.

Easy. Quick and easy nothing is more precious then time!!!👍🏻

It quit giving results. Before the last update it would give a description of the product. Now it just launches Google and gives no results. A year ago I it was 5 stars but now it’s just 1. I’m looking for a new app.

Great. So far I love this. Nice that you don’t have to line it up forever. As soon as it sees the barcode it is done!
