Works fine. Willow works fine. The biggest gripe people had with willow before has been fixed, in that you used to have a hard time unsubscribing but now with it being on apple’s subscription platform that’s easy enough. The app does have a bit of an issue with a feed pausing randomly or kicking you off of it. Besides that it would be great to have Picture in Picture functionality added. If you’re watching on your phone you can’t leave the app

Shitful but seemingly the only option. When it works it’s a wonder. However that is few and far between. And for the monthly subscription price it is UNACCEPTABLE. Could you imagine if Netflix wouldn’t load at all on a monthly basis? That their servers went down each week? And if they were up the buffering was slow and regularly pixelated...regardless of your whereabouts and country? No?! Well, some Willow does this on a weekly basis and has the temerity to charge for a service they do not provide. Support is poor and automated but none of this will stop them from charging you for a service they do not provide. Maybe it’s acceptable in India but it certainly isn’t elsewhere.

Worst support team ever. I subscribed to willow on April 11th and on 20th April it asked me to subscribe again. I tried to use the chat option as I urgently wanted to watch my favorite match but there were no agents available to chat. I sent an email with the same request. I got a response within one day asking for payment proof and all. I sent the proof but it is 4 days now without a response. Hopeless support!!!!!

Need Fixes. Excellent app to maybe just view the score, even though that updates mildly slow. Cannot watch the main highlight videos unless I send the video via text to myself so I can watch it. Doesn’t update the scorecards so I can see how wickets fell. Cannot watch matches live even though I am subscribed to willow and repeatedly click the red live button (and no, the match was not tv channel only). Can be a great app, they just need motivation to make the proper improvements. So bad that I just google the match to keep up with the score if I’m away from my tv. A shame really.

Half the stuff can be viewed only if you were subscribed to a TV provider. I own multiple iOS devices, fire TV and Roku. Unlike Hotstar, where everything you see on your account is viewable/playable. Many matches on Willow don’t play on my account. I guess there is a difference between Willow and Willow Everywhere. Looks like you will only broadcast these matches if I were subscribed to a handful of TV providers... and also paid for Willow. Dear Willow, like most people, I am getting this App based service from you because I don’t want to be bogged down with these cable TV contracts and TV services and I think you are doing things a little backwards here and I also think it’s unreasonable that only a fraction of your matches are available for customers who use your App, while you still charge us for the full price of your service.

Fraud. Stay Away. Don’t understand how such fraudulent companies are allowed to do business and run apps on big platforms like App Store and Playstore. 1st - They do not say clearly on their website that what can and what they cannot telecast and this is the reason why they have not provided the cancellation of subscription option on their website or their app because there might be many customers who wants to cancel after they realize that renewal date is near by and because Willow people will not reply before 48 hrs … 2 days are gone and customers have their auto renewal triggered. This clearly shows that what is the mentality of this company

Willow subscription and free gaana+. I’ve got 1 year subscription and as per the add I suppose to get gaana+ access but I didn’t get any info regarding gaana+. As per the gaana+ website they are saying we can use willow login details for the same but there no option like that. I tried to reach both willow customer support and gaana as well but no response. Please don’t promote any offers if you are not able to stick to it and with no customer support is the worst part. We don’t have time to deal with this kind of silly stuff. Willow app is working fine as of now for me but absolutely zero customer support is the worst part.

Good app, but could do better with customer service. The app works fine for me. Not many streaming issues. I think as one person mentioned, most of the buffering complaints on this forum have to do with internet speed and having a good router I think. They could do better with their customer service ( pick up phone call and resolve an issue immediately). They also could do better with their highlights package by covering important events that happened in the match instead of showing a batsman/team walking to the pavilion.

Do not waste your time & money. It started well. Easy to sign up and the streaming was relatively good through my Mac, but then I tried to stream on my phone. I don’t think I got through a minute of play without it cutting out. I mainly subscribed though to watch the Ashes through my tv. This was a waste of time as the app would not recognize my login details and so I cancelled. Finally, as others have mentioned, you can only unsubscribe through their site/contacting them and not via the App Store.

Works great on Apple TV but difficult to stop subscription. I have been using willow for 1 month on my Apple TV and an iPad. I have had great image quality watching the live games and no real issues with either application. They worked well, no freezing and most of the time I had a high quality picture. I only plan on watching for a few months of the year so wanted to put my subscription on hold. Well there is no information in the app or website on how to do this. After searching the web found you have to send the support team an email to cancel the subscription. They replied within 48 hours to my email. They then tried to sell me a long term subscription. After I rejected that option they did confirm by email that my subscription had been cancelled. Not the way I want to manage my subscription so I will look at other options.

Willow does not care about its customers. It is quite possible that Willow makes all the revenue from broadcasting IPL and other T20 matches. However, I’m sure there are some like me who watch Test matches too. In Tests there are passages of time when nothing may be happening but when something major does happen Willow more often than not cuts to commercials rather than show the replay. I will give you an example - this morning a wicker fell after a long time and instead of showing the replay Willow chose to show two commercials immediately and never went to the replay. I have been a Willow customer almost since it’s inception but I will be happy if they don’t have the rights for IPL in the future and go out of business!

Bottom of the barrel. I’ve been a willow subscriber for many years. This year in the middle of the World Cup, without warning I discovered that my premium level subscription no longer worked. Instead I was asked to start a new subscription via sling TV. Needless to say there was no warning of this, no email no nothing. When I tried to follow the instructions to subscribe via sling, the sling website devoted to willow was completely overwhelmed and I was unable to do so for days at a time. As a result I missed a huge chunk of the world cup. Of course Willow has no incentive to change any of their policies since they are a monopoly. Just beautifies that you’re going to have a terrible customer experience with these idiots.

Scam, Don’t buy it. Don't buy this service. This is literally a scam and they have the worst customer service, They don't have a direct line to call. You have to contact through email. This is literally a fraudulent company. They charged me twice for an annual subscription. Then I put a dispute on my credit card for the second charge. They cancelled my subscription even though I paid for an annual subscription. When I contacted their customer service they took 3 weeks to reply to my email. They said they canceled my subscription because of the dispute charge. When I asked about the first charge they didn't provide any answer. They didn't reinstate my subscription or refund the money they charged for the annual subscription. So my advice to everyone, don't buy their subscription.

Streaming service is horrendous. I do not have any other streaming service that cuts out ever. Yet, willow cuts out multiple times during games. I really do not understand why it’s so terrible. Additionally, on the app you constantly have to close it out, logout of my account and log back in. I also do not understand why it takes commercial breaks between overs when sky clearly is not doing commercials because the commentators are clearly talking about something. The content on the tv channel is constant replay of games. Why can’t they have analyst shows or something original. Generally it’s a pretty terrible service and I can’t believe it’s basically the only way to watch cricket in the USA.

Good but no notifications. Finally they added the ability to watch with your cable provider subscription which works. But during the World Cup and any other match, I try to turn on alerts for the game is want to watch and I never get a notification alerting of the games start. If I wasn’t getting this as part of my cable and paid Willow directly I think I’d rate this a 3.

This app is a SCAM! Do not use. I have this app on my Apple TV box. To be able to watch the T20 World Cup, I subscribed on tbh at app and confirmed using my iPhone. It appeared in the list of subscriptions on my iTunes account. The money is paid, but IT DOES NOT WORK! Nothing loads. I tried to look up the customer care number, but there isn’t one. There is a “live chat” option which just sends an email. It is not a live chat. I also tried sending an email to their help desk email, and got a response saying my issue will be resolved within 36 hours. I need to watch the game now, and tomorrow, not 36 hours later. These guys are scamming people.

Worst streaming app. There’s SO much wrong with this app. The worst is that despite paying a subscription, I have to watch ads each and every time, and they can be anywhere between 10 seconds to 2 minutes long, and non-skippable in many cases. Even if you leave the stream for 1 second and join again, you’ll have to waste 20-30 seconds for the ad; not conducive when watching an important match! The stream can kick you out randomly, happens once an hour I think, which makes this problem worse. There’s no pause-play function either, so even if you accidentally get the stream paused (like by taking out AirPods), there’s no way to resume the stream, so have to quit the app and restart again (and watch an ad again)! Really haven’t seen any other streaming app suffer so many problems. Works fine on AppleTV or through web

Streams are always good but never works on TV. I never have any issue getting quality streams on this app, but don’t ever try to use airplay or chromecast to play your stream on a TV. It won’t stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time. I’ve tried different phones, different TVs, and different streaming boxes and the app fails to stay connected for all of them. Streams work fine on the phone but you can’t do Picture in Picture to browse your phone while keeping the game on. These are basic iOS features that have been out for a while, really disappointing and quite a letdown that such a popular app has yet to release an update to fix these issues.

Easy to subscribe; very difficult to unsubscribe. This is one of the worst companies that I have dealt with. Subscription is easy, but there is no way to unsubscribe or cancel your subscription, either from the website or the app. You have to email them to do so, and then there is no way to know if they are actually acting on it, or if it disappeared into the void. I emailed them to cancel, and didn't get any reply or acknowledgement, even by a bot. After a week, when my subscription got renewed for the next month, then I emailed again and asked for a refund. 3 days later, they cancelled my subscription with no refund for the extra month. The next email was ignored, and I gave up. Folks, don't give them your money. Use VPNs and pay someone else, or just pirate streams. This company is scum and deserves to go bankrupt.

Good app for iPhone and TV. I am cricket fan and willow gives me a steady stream of games to watch with highlights and replay options if I miss the live action. The app works ok - wish there were better control for fast forwarding (Samsung TV app) it feels like it’s all or none for a T20 replay. Need better controls for video player. Customer service is all remote as others are pointing out

HORRIBLE. I have been using willow for two years now. Would give zero stars if possible. Can you imagine watching a t-20 game while the server goes down and you have to refresh the page every over? By the end of the game you’ll probably be lucky if you can watch 29 balls through the hassle. It would be foolish to believe the developers response to this review even if he does cause they really don’t care about customer satisfaction. I have been emailing the customer service since forever now and I don’t see any improvement. Moreover, they don’t even try to acquire rights for all the team India games!

Buggy and frustrating to use. The app has changed completely with the new update and it is frustrating to use, and is very buggy in general. Anytime I enter and leave the app, there’s a white button that shows up and blocks a portion of the screen so I can’t watch the video. Also tapping on the video doesn’t get rid of the buttons and title on the top, and I always have to wait a few seconds for it to disappear which gets annoying after a while.

Good app for cricket streaming but missing in the updates!. I’m a cricket and willow is one of the good channel that streams the cricket in live! But when it comes to the updates for the app it don’t give updates regularly to fix any issues! Now a days many apps are coming with an update to iPhone X. Cricbuzz which is also a cricket based has updated their screen size to support iPhone X resolution but willow is not updated! Love to see the cricket streaming on full size resolution!! Go willow release the update soon!!!

Worst customer care support team. Please don’t subscribe to willow tv. Their support team is worst. I am having issues with login to my roku app with google auto sign in. Apparently they never told that it’s not supported for tv login but allowed for account creation with google auto sign on. When I contacted their support twice chat agent disconnected me in between. She/he had no idea what I was talking about. Sent mail to customer service and got response after two days. Response was also generic one asking me to login with user id password . They apparently donot understand the auto sign in feature use. Tough time contacting support team who don’t understand anything. I would suggest don’t fall into this scam. They are scammers who don’t care if you loose your money. Better look for alternatives.

Ipl. Willow tv always takes our precious time away from us for their business collaborations, I mean we have to do the hard work entering our login ID and passwords to follow the process to watch Ipl or any other series. Why can’t willow tv provides customer a seemless service regardless of their collaborations. I really hate to go through the process to setting up again for this we pay a premium membership price. Please take a leaf out of Netflix’s customer service and the way they handle their content sharing, collaborations with various production companies and effective policies in implementing its business model seamlessly without disturbing the customers. Please don’t redirect to another website next time in order to watch cricket , work with the new company and make sure willow tv subscribers will get to watch without any links or layers of process. We don’t Have time to babysit your team.

Not worth it.. This app by far is the worse app I ever used. Barely works without freezing. Half of the time it says “file not found.” For an subsection you are paying for you would expect better service. Also the quality is not as good as other apps. Not just the app even if you are using their website you have the same problem. I remember once speaking to a technician and he literally told me that I should watch the watch in 240p to avoid buffering. That’s the type of customer service they provided. They you to pay month and tell you to watch at 240p to avoid freezing. Only reason I gave one star is because you cannot give 0.

App works great!. I have both the Willow app on my phone and Apple TV. I have had no issues on my phone and can mirror the games to my Apple TV. I have the app on my Apple TV but for some reason the audio is not great and everything is heard twice. I am not sure what the technical issue is or how to resolve it . In the meantime, I am loving Willow. I just wish that some other cricket series was available, but I will take whats been offered.

Worst App Ever. First of all user interface is from Stone Age. 1. When click on live feed , why I have to choose channel 1 or 2. What do I know what is meant. Can App Not decide intelligently which channel has best speed and good quality broadcast feed. 2. It doesn’t play live immediately and there is too much lag and no option to jump forward and go directly real live feed. At least learn from some competitive apps out there, for example HOT STAR. 3. Very quick to display advertisement in every video but failed to load actual video. Tried many times but very difficult to watch their stores videos afterwards. 4. Why to show ad, when people are paying for the app? 5. I unsubscribe your services immediately after purchasing monthly plan due to worst user interface for app and poor quality of performance and unnecessary advertisements to paid subscribers.

No more live coverages?. I would prefer to give zero stars. I am using willow for more than an year. First of all there are no live streaming that willow is providing any more. When ever there is a series willow keep on saying they don’t have rights to telecast then why do you need 10$ subscription? Worst thing is when I reached out to customer care (which they never respond), they mentioned the telecast is on their tv channel and I need to get a cable subscription for that. Hotstar or sling would be the better provider than willow. Finally, i am not sure if they even have dedicated customer support.

Willow TV. I have been watching willow since 2004. I have best experience with its reception and overall coverage. I love to watch Cricket all over the world. Willow TV should start a plan if someone would like to each old matches highlights including odi,World Cup and other major cricket events. For Example if I would like to watch W/Cup 1992 semifinals & final extended highlights. Thanks

1 Star for thinking of broadcasting cricket, Do not use it. You’re better off with hotstar. This is a disastrous app. I can’t possibly write all the things wrong with this app. For starters here are a few: 1. Do not ever logout of the app, like ever. If you do for some reason, then god help you. It asks for a subscription, even though if you have an active one. 2. They say, they would provide credentials for Hotstar to watch content like Ipl, Upcoming World cup. First of all, this is horrible and their instructions do not work to get the hotstar credentials. It never did for me. 3. For Christ sakes, willow does not even have a customer care phone number to reach out to. All they have is email support, which is crap. I’ve reached out plenty of times only to receive a response after 2-3 days, asking me to try the same old things which I’ve told I tried already in my emails. 4. I do not recommend this to anyone. You are better off with Hotstar. I’ve asked them to refund my money which I know will not happen, to which they replied contact Apple, since you’ve used itunes for subscription. This is LOL!!! I’ve cancelled the subscription and moved on to Hotstar. Way way betterr!!! Get a coupon on slickdeals, get the one year subscription on hotstar. Much better, not like this crappy service.

Would give negative stars if possible. Either Willow needs a new product management team or burry the app for good. It used to work fine but for the past couple weeks the only thing my subscription pays for is watching “An error occurred loading this content” on my screen. I’ve emailed the customer support about the issues but I haven’t heard back. It’s virtually impossible to watch live games at the moment. If you’re looking for a good stream for the upcoming World Cup I’d suggest looking at other options - if the app can’t handle traffic now, it’ll be down hill, leading up to, and come the WC.

Worst experience for paid subscription app ever!!!. This app is ridiculous. Instead of creating a bridge to go between the app (willow tv) and the streaming service (Hotstar) for IPL2019, they want subscribers to download another app Hotstar which than ask you to go to another app (your tv provider) in order to watch a simple game. The message that they have where Willow asks you to go to Hotstar to watch can only be done while live match. This is beyond frustrating. There are other free ways to watch the matches online but it’s a hassle to find good quality stream but surely that hassle is better than what willow tv is offering for its paid subscribers. And on top of that there is no way to get in touch with support through app. Please save your money and your sanity and don’t subscribe.

Pay 10 bucks a month not to watch. This is the worst streaming platform. They don’t have most popular smart TV apps, and they can’t even integrate sling with any of them. And get this if you buy them on sling then forget about it. You watch whatever they put on. Doesn’t matter what is scheduled live they will make you watch Indian highlights over live matches that are more important. What joke of a company they are. Good knows why they are still in business. But I guess that’s usually the case for most scammers.

Greed and unprofessional attitude!!!. So greedy that even when you log on when the play is not on it exhibits adverts. If you go to another match and even if that’s not playing you see the same adverts again, this channel doesn’t bother you are a customer or not. Even their editing or highlights for the day is cut and paste without any audio correction, it’s of lowest standards, cheap substitutes and non famous games. It’s quality over quantity. Shabby telecast and unannounced interpretations of advertisements. Every over doesn’t have to have advertisements!! It irritates you and forces you to cancel subscription.

Streaming not great and app...meh. I have a very big internet pipe at home and all my other stream services works great on multiple 4K TV’s at the same time. So with that said: For some reason streaming on Apple devices is horrible from Willow. Willow keeps dropping and you have to go out and select a server again. The reason I pay for the service is so I can watch live matches. Replays can be had elsewhere! It is also noticeable that the frame rate is turned way down as following moving items makes you feel like you consumed a hallucination inducing drug. (The ball is very difficult to see) The iPad app: why in the world would you not support picture in picture on iPad? Have you not heard of multitasking? I don’t know about you but most of the time I like to catch up on some things between overs or during breaks but for that you have to go out of the app...bloody ridiculous!

Abject Disaster of an App. I’m a diehard cricket fan, and expat in the USA, and when any major match or series is happening, I pray it is on ESPN+. The iPad app in particular is massively buggy, crashes all the time, and the worst part is that every time it crashes or streaming cuts out- typically 5 times an hour, you get forced to watch an ad, which is basically Willow taking additional financial advantage of the fact that their app is bad. I pay for this horrendous service- why should I have to watch 50 additional ads a day for Toyota Tundras because their app is poorly built, and miss critical match moments? Sadly, for some series I have no other choice. Willow should be ashamed of themselves frankly. Not good enough. But for some games there is no other option.

Garbage app for watch replays or highlights.. I can’t play videos on it via my iPad. Sends me cannot play video error. I try to go to the Match Center and it tries to play a video and throws the same error. I try to play a replay of a match but it also throws me an error. The arrow that is supposed to show all the videos for a particular match cannot be selected and also tries to play a video and throws an error. Fix the app! Do some decent QA. These are basic bugs that a simple QA walkthrough can catch! Even worse, I try to send you a message via your contact us form to report all these issues and the Email ID field does not accept special character!?! As soon as I try to type something in that field, it says special character not allows. Pathetic, seriously!

Nothing wrong with the app. I read some reviews here and didn't want to buy a willow subscription knowing how bad users' experience are. However I used it during the ashes of 2019 and realized there's nothing wrong with it (at least so far). I got a $45/year subscription which is the cheapest one around. Happy with the app and willow's service itself. Would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a live cricket watching service. I'll give it the missing one star once I have used the app and service enough and still satisfied with it.

Unbearable User Experience, Lacks Basic Functionality. I recently downloaded the Willow TV application for IPL 2023. Unfortunately, I'm left utterly disappointed and frustrated by the app's terrible user experience and glaring lack of basic features. The user interface is far from intuitive, making it a cumbersome task to navigate through the app. Menus and controls are not user-friendly, and finding desired content is a challenge in itself. For an application that's supposed to provide a streamlined viewing experience, this level of inefficiency is just unacceptable. Even more disheartening is the fact that the application fails to respond to media controls while watching videos. This means you can't pause, play, rewind or fast-forward content, which is a fundamental expectation for any video-based application. Overall, the Willow TV app is an annoying experience that could greatly benefit from a comprehensive redesign and a serious focus on user experience. As it stands, I can't recommend this app to anyone until these significant issues are addressed. The developers need to take immediate action to rectify these problems and meet the basic expectations that any user would have from a modern-day video streaming application.

No unsubscribe button. I think this is the first time I’m noticing an app which doesn’t give you an option unsubscribe whenever we want. I took a monthly subscription and when I wanted to cancel because I wasnt viewing much on Willow it has no unsubscribe button. When I enquired the process on Reddit, we have to take a long route as to emailing the team and wait forever to get a response. To the team: Poor strategy, increase your subscribers by putting some intereting content on it rather than hiding the unsubscribe button.

I have had no problems and I am watching great cricket.. I delayed subscribing for months because of the bad reviews I read here. Eventually decided to give Willow a chance and have been watching the Big Bash and the fantastic India vs Australia test series every night. I’ve had no problems getting a good, uninterrupted feed. I wish the highlights packages were edited a bit more professionally for when I miss the live events (commentators are often cut mid sentence) but really for cricket lovers Willow is fantastic value and has become one of my most visited apps.

Abysmal. I wish there is an option in App Store that helps a user rate a particular app ‘negatively’. I just bought(wasting $9.99) the premium Willow tv subscription to watch uninterrupted, live streaming of a cricket match and I could hardly do that. There is absolutely no way to contact the Technical Support team of Willow tv via a phone call and it meant that there is absolutely no way to get help. The so called ‘Live Chat’ that they have as part of their ‘Contact Us’ option is a virtual reality and you hardly get a response back there, forget about any assistance. There are numerous 3rd party websites that hosts Replays of a completed match and I don’t think I need to waste $9.99 per month on Willow to do that.

Hit and miss. So being and Englishman in the US I’m glad there is a way to watch cricket. However, it is annoying that Willow seems to pick and choose mid match what is going to be shown. I was watching England v NZ, tea break comes around and the match is no longer listed as available, the series is no longer listed in the fixtures. Not happy at the inconsistent availability, and the way the video feed often cuts to a color pattern in the last session of a days play so you miss the last hour or so. If they fix these issues I’ll upgrade to 5 stars but right now 3 is the best I can give.

They make it very hard for you to unsubscribe. Willow TV should not be in the App Store because they would not let you unsubscribe without sending multiple emails to customer service. For this reason only people should look for alternatives. Their stand-alone subscription used to be a good value but the content they now have is useless. I am giving 2 stars because I was able to to watch the content they had without much interruption (expect for a couple of buffering issues). However, each time I had to watch on my Samsung tv I had to validate my subscription using a mobile phone. This was very annoying. Pros - value for money if they have the content you want to watch Cons - hard to cancel subscription, very little high profile cricket content, does not seamlessly work across different platforms

Better. But once again it won’t worth. I’ve gone from giving this five stars down to one star and now I’m going back up to three stars. The reason for this is the app totally screws up at times. If I don’t use it for several months I can’t watch any videos that are more than five minutes long. If I uninstall and reinstall all it starts working fine again. This is happened four times now and it’s pretty frustrating to have to reestablish credentials with my cable company as I keep forgetting the password.

Bad Update. This new version of the App is so bad. You pay $10 for a service and they play 15 second ads every time you open a live match that you cannot skip, doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of the over. Also, every time you look at your notification screen, you lose the full screen because of a stupid white ribbon. You then need to go back and click on the live match again and there comes an ad again. So annoying, not something you expect from a streaming service.

Cheap app with irritating commercials. This apps will stop casting every three minutes. Every time you login after a while it won’t work. So you have to uninstall the app and install it again. But that’s not the worst part the worst part is just two extremely irritating annoying commercials of Lexus and Toyota. Like I have seen those two commercials 3000 times and trust me I haven’t seen any commercial worst than this. I actually cancelled my plans of buying a Toyota just I hate that commercial so much.

Developer issues with app please fix. I would like to make a few suggestions for IPhones. Please fix. First, The screen only rotates one direction for wide view when watching games instead of auto adjusting either direction the user is holding the device. Secondly, the Willow TV layout can be difficult to navigate until you learn the layout. Could be done more like other apps that are more user friendly. Lastly, it does not allow you to listen to games without the screen and app pulled up. It would be nice to be able to listen to the games without the screen having to be in the for front. Does allow user to watch Cricket on multiple platforms in great quality.

Nonsense. I have subscribed to willow on my phone on a monthly basis and everything was going well until a few days back willow telling me I have to go and login to Hotstar to have live streaming in the USA. When I check it out hotstar telling me I have to subscribe, now I already have a monthly subscription with willow, why I have to subscribe again and what happens to my money I paid willow. Willow said they partner with hotstar to give live streaming of IPL cricket in USA, since hotstar is their partner I shouldn’t have to subscribe again.

They place misleading ads to secure subscription and when subscribed they don’t even show what they advertise . The owners should be jailed for fraud. And Apple is complicit in this Fraud!! Absolute worst application. App is full of bugs and worst user interface. I mean it’s waste of money. Utter disgrace!

Need lots of improvement. Willow provides good picture quality but has lot of downsides. 1. Why does paid app play advertisements 2. Cannot stream without any disruption. 3. Everytime when we navigate back and play the stream , a new ad plays. So frustrating 4. New update has good control but cannot slect picture quality like before.

Advt free subscription. While subscribing they show advertisements free streaming service but they continue to show advertisements even after being paid subscriber. Also service stops intermittently which require to restart the app.

THIS APP SUCKSS. Firstly, it shows you a bazillion ads, not even skippable. It limits one device per stream too BRUH. they’re are jus taking advantage of the fact that they’re only streaming platforms in Canada for Cricket. JUST INCREASE THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICE AND STOP SHOWING ME ADS.

I buy 1 month the subscription from website and i need the subscription for 1 month only so cancel the subscription after buying it so that it don’t get renewed next month and it was working on my phone but the next day when i add account to my iPad it was asking to subscribe and i clicked on subscribe but after that they charge me again for for the same for the same month for whom i paid yesterday and when i contacted the support they didn’t even try to understand my issue.

Do not subscribe. I subscribed to watch world cup cricket 2023. As soon a match loads I get 2 mins long advertisement before match loads. Then I got server error in 5 mins while watching the game. I'm Frustrated typing the Code again and again. You made apps for tv but forget to add sign in options for the tv. If you just unwillingly get out of the willow app it logs out and then you have to type the code on your phone just to connect your account with tv. Use your brain and ad sign in options for the tv app.

What a disaster-so many server issues when watching worldcup.. If I am paying for a subscription I expect the server to be up and have no interruptions. Worst app, it’s a scam. I would give this app a zero rating if possible. The video feed for the cricket World Cup is not working and their customer service is the worst (haven’t responded after a week to my complaint). They’ve charged a subscription fees but there’s no live feed to watch, it just shows a blank screen. Money wasted.

Poor connectivity to chromecast device. Keep disconnecting at regular intervals. No support option from Willow tv. No video quality options. No commentary language options. Needs lot of fixes.

Chrome casting is terrible. Why do you guys even bid for Indian cricket matches and major tournaments (World cup/IPL) Casting it to the chromecast is terrible, plays for a while and stops. Then I have to recast it. Its such a pain, better watching from some online link. This app is making me go backwards.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!. Let’s start with the positive. This app works great. Very nice stream. Good interface. Nice if you login via your TV provider. If you try to get a stand-alone subscription like I did, buckle up! First of all, you have to do that via a desktop. If you click on the link for $9.99 subscription, it takes you to Sling TV. Good news at this point. You can get the subscription for $5! Great! Now you come back to the Willow app to watch cricket and it tells you that you need a subscription! What? Sorry, you can only watch via the Sling app. Well, not so bad if this can be resolved! Just ask customer service right? Guess what? You have to go back to the desktop. Hit contact us and pour out your worries and problems. Then what happens? Nothing. Crickets. Just don’t subscribe!

Poor service, complained for refund. Signed up for annual service. I could not watch on their site (computer), app (phone) or tv (app). They provided a login to another site Hotstar. Dodgy as never seen this. The login did not work on Hotstar. The Willow site would not let me play as they disabled streaming. Hotstar would not support. Been 4 days no customer service. Live chat says nobody is available. If there was a way to give -5 * I would. Don’t waste your money or time.

Poor app and service but not completely awful. The app mostly works but has VERY limited features. More reliable than "free alternatives" but nowhere near the quality and reliability of major streaming services. Adverts are inserted by the app during a feed -- VERY annoying. I just watched 2 hours of the ashes and the SAME annoying advert was inserted roughly every ten minutes.

Always kicks off/ not enough games. I have multiple apps on my TV and for some reason this one always kick you off, then you have to go back in. Willow also do t have enough games, there are times when there are other games going on and willow’s only response is that they could not get the rights or work out a deal, time to step up willow or I might be saying goodbye

Bad Customer Service. They don’t have an option to cancel the subscription from the app or from the desktop site. Apparently you have to send an email to their crappy customer service email ID. I sent 2 messages asking for my subscription to be cancelled and they haven’t responded yet. This sort of design is unacceptable. It’s a sign of a company that isn’t credible. I’m never going to subscribe to them again even if I want to watch the games.

Taking fans for ride. Cricket lovers in US have little option of watching cricket and hence rely on this app and these guys decide to take them for a ride. The app is unstable, the videos keep buffering, it doesn’t track user preferences, doesn’t have basic video resume feature and I could go on. Not sure if the company doesn’t have the foresight or they have a poor developer team. Only good competition would improve the quality of user experience 😕

UI - 0/5. You are able to survive because you seem to have captured streaming rights for a lot of cricket games. I hope someone else takes that away from you if your app interface stays as bad as it is. Being blunt, the interface needs a complete overhaul. For $10 the content is great but the service itself is pathetic. Could be one of the worst apps I have on my phone not by choice.

Even worse than previous version. This is one of the worst app I’ve ever encountered and paid money for. once you start a video there is no way for you to get out of it on iPad or iPhone unless you do a hard stop. Also, you cannot skip ads there are no basic controls if feels like you are in a jail. No x button, no forward, no reverse, no pause and no stop. Total trash. Wish there was another option to watch cricket and 99% of the people would switch in a heartbeat!

Login via provider not working. The app was working fine but for the past few days when I click on log in with provider using Dish Network; it takes me to a white page and does not load the log in screen thus I can’t sign in and watch. please help solve this issue.

Doesn’t work often. Have been a user of the app for many years. I used to subscribe directly to Willow. Then I switched to my Cable provider and that’s when the problems started. I no longer can watch anything via the app as I get hung screens when I log I. With my TV provider details. I can only watch on the Cable channel and so I’m now stuck with what has been scheduled rather than choose a game from the app.

Wonderful app. I have a monthly subscription for the past few years. Willow has worked very well for me and very rarely given any issues. It has worked well on apple tv, roku, smart tv and ipads, iphones and also laptops. I have not had any issues thus far. You just have to pay attention when. You set it up a in anew device. Raj

Good app for iPhone and TV. I am cricket fan and willow gives me a steady stream of games to watch with highlights and replay options if I miss the live action. The app works ok - wish there were better control for fast forwarding (Samsung TV app) it feels like it’s all or none for a T20 replay. Need better controls for video player. Customer service is all remote as others are pointing out

Willow TV. I have been watching willow since 2004. I have best experience with its reception and overall coverage. I love to watch Cricket all over the world. Willow TV should start a plan if someone would like to each old matches highlights including odi,World Cup and other major cricket events. For Example if I would like to watch W/Cup 1992 semifinals & final extended highlights. Thanks

Cricket access from the United States is solved.. As an avid fan of cricket and a loyal American, access was spotty due to the curse word that is geoblocking. Willow throws the Debbie downers to the wolves. What gives it that coveted fifth star is it's Voiceover accessibility. I'm totally blind (no eyesight), and I use iOS's built-in Voiceover service to read verbally what's on the screen. Willow is the best.

Glitchy. Let’s just say that at best it never works properly for more than 15 minutes at a time. Either the video freezes or the audio does this echo thing where every word is repeated twice. Every week or so , it auto logs out. Every other week the touchscreen goes dead so the app has to be removed and re installed. I gave it two stars because it is better than having nothing!

GET BETTER CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!. Why am I being redirected to SlingTV? As an annual WillowTV subscriber, I shld have access to the ICC World Cup. However, I am redirected to SlingTV to sign up for an offer to watch it free there - but that is for new Sling TV subscribers only. SInce I am already a Sling TV subscriber, it does me no good. There is no customer service # to call. I sent an email about 5 hours ago ... and no response. Someone else - please buy WillowTV and make it better or someone please come up with an alternative to watch cricket in the US

Service not available. You have shown advertisements that IPL is live and now it is been showing that we have to watch it in some other channel even though we have the subscription. Most sad part is you don’t even have a customer care line to resolve the issue and the only way is through email which takes lot of time. The number that is provided in google goes to some Vodafone automated message. Bad experience and poor customer service!!!!!!

poor poor app. This is one of the worst subscriptions you can opt for. When I had sling, could purchase willow only if I had other channels. It ran fine- could rewind and catch missed actions, had faster highlights etc. The app on its own is poor- difficult to navigate. Does not allow you to go back and watch or show real time replays or posts highlights. Not what I am looking for in a sports app. Of course now based on various reviews that I am reading looks like cancellation is a pain as well. big mistake on my part.

Dumb subscription strategy. In this day of easy subscription models through app stores, channels and what not, why would someone use a service which only lets you subscribe using a card so that you have to jump through hoops with customer service when you want to unsubscribe. I’d probably just laugh at the dumb management that’s taking these decisions. Fix this before you lose subscribers guys. It’s 2023 not 2010.

Horrible Service and Integration. Who do you think you guys are? Getting payment from customers like me but then not streaming IPL is unacceptable. If I have to buy Sling or ESPN+ why did you advertise that IPL is available to watch for US residents and accept payment? Either you guys have no clause about the policy changes for content distribution or you are just a bunch of high-handed thugs counting cash for your next vacay! Pathetic lifestyle dudes. Get a life! We don’t have time to deal with your inefficiencies or arrogance.

Good when it works. It has been working well most of the time. However like others said, no replay in the highlights for wickets etc, but instead shows walking back to pavilion etc. Not an intelligent use of highlights. Buffers sometimes, old highlights (after a few days are difficult to find). It doesn’t work well with the TV app. I can’t use it while traveling.

Forced to cast which is a pain. Worst app experience ever. I signed up using google signup option on the app to watch IPL. I downloaded the app on my google tv and there is no option of google login, using email login with the same gmail id doesn’t work. So I am forced to cast, and the stream keeps breaking up, every time it breaks I have to restart the app watch the annoying add and then cast again. Definitely not worth the $$ they charge

issue with app on apple tv. issue1: once i start watching a game and try to switch to a different game, i hear the commentary from both the games at a time. issue2: I open the game in a particular server and then go back to the menu page and come back open the game in a different server, i still hear both the commentaries. in both cases i have to turn off my apple tv and turn it on again.

Worst customer care service team. Please don’t subscribe to willow tv. Their support team is worst. I am having issues with my subscription as I am unable to watch live events or recorded videos. I sent an email with the details & error screen shots and no response from support team till now( it’s been 4 days). Now I sent an email to cancel my subscription and waiting for their response. Tough time contacting support team. I would suggest don’t subscribe or don’t fall in this scam as they do not care if you loose your money.

Need to update UI and modernize the site. Several issues in the website: 1. Seems like there’s a bug in Willow TV app- if you input email and password by the app it does not let you log in. But if I use remote with same credentials then it lets me in! I understood this after I signed up for premium and was trying to login in willow roku TV app by using roku remote app on my iPhone. The login worked on iphone willow app and laptop chrome / mobile chrome willow website. But it wasn’t working on roku tv when I entered my login details with roku remote app. Then it worked when I used my actual physical remote with the same login details! 2. Password can be reused- no prompt to change it after some time. 3. On the website it keeps asking to verify email.

Antiquated features for a premium app. I’m a Brit/US national and avid England supporter. I’ve been a Willow customer for 15+ years. I depend on the service, but the iPhone app is horrible. I’ve requested that they add PiP (picture in picture) functionality many times over the last few years…nothing. Not being able to multi-task while watching/listening is unbearable!!! This is a basic upgrade to the app and it’s appalling that they have not done this. Shame on you Willow!!!

Only good if you have TV subscription. I get this for yearly subscription for watch cricket game on it , it’s total scam it’s only good if you have tv subscription from other tv suppliers, if you don’t have cable tv or other tv subscription you can not watch most important game . Not cricket World Cup too! Why we pay if we not able to watch cricket.

Bad quality and ads make you miss live content. No live content streamer which charges a subscription should force you to watch an ad before you can get to your live content. When you’re trying to catch the end of a close game, this policy makes me regret subscribing every time. Combined with how frequently streams crash/get stuck and needs to be restarted (and wait for the ad again), this is possibly the worst experience of any streaming service out there.

They rob you. This is absolutely disgusting and breaches customer trust in multiple ways. I signed up assuming i would get decent access to IPL, but they just created a dummy account on US hotstar instead. When i wanted to unsubscribe they just do not provide any method in the app or their website. There is no customer service number and their CS email is non responsive. I had to call my bank and file a dispute to stop them from charging me. I wish they go bankrupt soon. This is plain day time robbery.

Don’t subscribe. This is by far the worst experience I had while paying for an online subscription based service. I could not find an option to cancel my subscription on the app or on their website. I had to reach them via. email, there is not even a phone number listed on their website. This is borderline shady. I will never subscribe for willow ever again. I would much rather pay for sling or some other service to watch cricket.

Cheap app with irritating commercials. This apps will stop casting every three minutes. Every time you login after a while it won’t work. So you have to uninstall the app and install it again. But that’s not the worst part the worst part is just two extremely irritating annoying commercials of Lexus and Toyota. Like I have seen those two commercials 3000 times and trust me I haven’t seen any commercial worst than this. I actually cancelled my plans of buying a Toyota just I hate that commercial so much.

Unacceptably poor. To be charging money for this streaming service is a disgrace. It is literally impossible to watch a stream without endless buffering and stuttering. It’s also very difficult to cancel once they have you as a subscriber. There is no obvious way to unsubscribe, which is as sketchy as it sounds. Instead you’ll need to email them and ask, after which the company will go back and forth with you for some time before finally agreeing to end your subscription. Avoid.

Pathetic customer service. I had taken the subscription to watch world cup final but looks like we cannot stream the world cup from willow tv. However they have advertised that we can watch the game. I contacted the customer service but the response was horrible. Never ever take this subscription, you can always find alternatives. I usually doesn’t review but these guys are horrible and want to warn others about using their service.

Great App. I haven’t seen the problems others have mentioned with this service. I use it on an iPhone, applets and PC. It’s a great service, the highlights are timely and the full archive replays are a godsend when the match is being played on the other side of the planet.

Literally cannot stream anything. This company should cease to exist or be bought out. I subscribed to the service to watch the T20 World Cup, and I literally cannot stream anything via the app because I have to connect it to a sling account. The app doesn’t even support airplay, and I have been unable to stream content. I’m not a Luddite. I worked for a streaming service and playing content should be as easy as pie. Willow is a disgrace. Whoever designs and builds this product should be actively looking for employment in another industry.

The best way to watch cricket. Willows in my experience I'd the best site and support team to watch cricket. Better be Han ESPN the support team has always responded and guided me or fixed the issue in the quickest way before end of the game. Keep up the great work guys, you are the Best!

Great content, terrible app. The quality of the stream is great. But when I’m in “catch up” mode watching replays, the app doesn’t save progress on any video which means I literally have to write down which part number I’m up to, and the time stamp from the scrubber. Saving video progress is a must-have feature for any video streaming service, and this fails that.

Horrible app to watch Live Cricket. I hope people at Willow read these reviews. This app is so poor that it doesn’t even stream Live Cricket in full HD. We are almost in 2023 and their broadcasting is stuck in the 1990s. ESPN+ is much better and smooth with their streaming. Willow Tv will be streaming the IPL from 2023 onwards so God Bless all of us! PLEASE make some efforts to revamp this app. Lots of Ads as well before we start streaming. Don’t know for what we pay $10 every month. I wish I could give 0 Stars.

Do not waste your time & money. It started well. Easy to sign up and the streaming was relatively good through my Mac, but then I tried to stream on my phone. I don’t think I got through a minute of play without it cutting out. I mainly subscribed though to watch the Ashes through my tv. This was a waste of time as the app would not recognize my login details and so I cancelled. Finally, as others have mentioned, you can only unsubscribe through their site/contacting them and not via the App Store.

Works fine. Everything works fine on my iPhone iPad desktop and Roku. Customer service is fine too. They are a small operation. You email customer service and they respond. Thank you.

Mediocre and glitchy. I have used Willow on and off, especially when they secure exclusive rights to games in the US time zone. It has never worked satisfactorily and always a major pain to get to support. After the last app update, it would not recognize my annual subscription and just kept asking to pay again. However, I can watch the games through a browser. Just plain unacceptable quality.

Held Hostage. An absolute abomination of an app and service that deserves less than one star. Terribly glitchy (if the video even bothers to load), horrible UI, and they make it purposefully difficult to cancel this god awful service. A real shame that we’re held hostage to this horrendous, extractive excuse for a company to watch cricket. I pray for they day they go out of business or someone with a semblance of quality starts streaming cricket in the US.

Poorly maintained and sub-par user experience. 1. Idiotic Ad every time you hit play 2. No PiP on the iPhone. Almost all other streaming content apps have this. 3. Playback controls freeze if you fast forward on the iPhone. Whatever buffering tech this App uses, it’s old. Worst App Quality ever. Everything is good except the apps whether it is on Apple TV, Google tv or on iPhone. It will work for few days and then one day will stop working for one reason or another. I always wonder why someone would not improve the quality of their apps when it is the only medium to access their content.

Won’t play on iPad, phone or computer. I have been a customer for over a year. When it is working it is a great service however it does not always work but they keep the charges rolling. I have emailed and messaged and got no response And 3 of my 4 devices are not working. Wish they would be consistent and have some form of customer service and then I could give a better score. Garbage app. I downloaded the app and subscribe to watch live cricket semifinal between India, and New Zealand and the app kept on loading consistency, didn’t even load the match at all. so ever since I paid for subscription, this app has been nothing but useless so I would like to have my refund from below and I’m never using the app again or paying for any of their services going forward.

Annoying when match already started. One of the worst streaming app which shows advertisement when the match is in progress because you are watching from the middle or app crashed and relaunched or app malfunctioned and relaunched. Streaming technology is seamless but advertisement placement is very poor. No wonder for giving 2 stars
