Soooo helpful, but.... This is a great app for someone who operates entirely through gmail and google products. I only wish you could access docs and the calendar while offline, if you pull up a certain doc in advance and leave it open so it can be viewed without Internet, or if you just want to look at your calendar and not save it. Also, the desktop versions are much better than the mobile versions, and they seem to work fine despite warnings that they won't. I just like how the desktop calendar is laid out, and you can't archive google voice messages in the mobile version. But overall, great app! I love keeping all of my google stuff in one place!

Gee Wiz. I absolutely love this app because I am a visually impaired user and there really isn't much out there for us like that, but I FOUND 1 that actuallly works so far and I am truely thankful, because all of those other apps were very difficult to use and navigate, just to sign in was a pain to do! This app is not only good for sighted users but it is also good for us blind users as well! Thank you! This app is great! To the people who made this app, if you can continue revolutionizing apps! that would be great for my friends and I! Most of the people are blind and they will love this app as much as I do! Thank you once again guys! I love this app!

Almost perfect... Will change rating if fixed.... This is a pretty solid app. Generally awesome. Three things keeping it from being five stars instead of three: It keeps losing connection to gchat... I would like it to keep me "always online" so I get push notifications when anyone tries to contact me... and it tries so hard. But it doesn't always keep me on and I will often open the app up from the background to find it is trying to reconnect to a network it shouldn't have lost a connection to. Second: it doesn't recognize phone numbers or email addresses. Can't click on them. Third: it should push mail. It shocks me that this isn't even an option. I'm tired of using active exchange for push notifications only to use the epic new unlock thing from ios5 to go to directly to the email in the native mail app, read it there because it was so fast to access that way, then switch apps and navigate to that message in order to reply properly using all of gmail mobile's convenient and streamlined features... These are things I kinda expected it would do. I would return it, but I am too lazy. I just wish they would fix it, because I really do like how the app works.

Desktop View & Setting!. This app is essential for viewing google apps in 'Desktop' mode and customizing settings!

Very Handy. This app does everything it says it will and a bit more. The author is amazingly quick to respond to support queries, replying to each of my requests within minutes (though I suppose I may not have found this to be the case if I'd happened to have e-mailed him while he was asleep). I've put the icon for G-Whiz on my dock in place of the one that starts Apple's e-mail app because the G-Mail (and Google Apps mail) interface in G-Whiz is better than Apple's. The only thing missing, as far as I'm concerned, is Google Wave, but the author says he plans to add it as soon as Wave becomes less of a moving target (hmm, not the best fitting metaphor I've ever used--waves should always move, except, I guess, for standing waves). That not enough to get me to withhold a star though.

Think twice. I bought this app for only one use, to use it as a gateway to open and edit my google docs, spreadsheets primarily. This portion of the app has no features of it's own, it is nothing more than a new skin for safari. Well it works worse than safari alone as when I hit the link for app view in the spreadsheet I get an error this feature was not supported yet and there was no way to clear the message so I was forced to reboot the iPad. As I looked at this app in more detail it is not much more than the free google app, especially when you hit the apps button inside google app, nearly the same GUI. So I say think twice, this app does not build upon the native access but a new GUI / skin for efforts you already have, maybe the skin is worth the price for you but this app had zero return on my expense.

Good but can improve. I like this app to check my Gmail account. It is more friendly than the app the ipad comes with, specially when you try to delete messages. It also shows the labels and filters I have created in Gmail, which helps me a lot to prioritize what I am going to read first. I also like the fact that it recognizes all my address book so it makes it easier to send emails. However, the browser doesn't work well: if I try to open a link from an email, or open an attachment (pictures, pdfs) it seems it tries to open the browser but does nothing, I get a blank screen. I have to use other apps for that. Kinda of dissapointing and very inconvenient. They should sell the app for less $ to make the price worth the quality of the product.

Getting awesome!!!. Love this app! It'd be better it REALLY runs in background, especially music when it's played from drive. Now, you play it, you leave the app, and it stops. Other than that, it's getting better and better every version! ^_^

Confusing APP. Too much going on, too confusing. Hard to figure out what its purpose is. Didn't see any value in it.

Duplicate drafts driving me nuts. I have used this app for years and loved it, recommended it to friends and colleagues, and appreciated the all-in-one usability. However since Google did away with Google+ (and I assume this is somehow related to that event), whenever I create an email or reply on this app on my iPhone I end up with several draft versions even after I've sent the final email. I have to go back, click edit for each one, and delete one by one. I deleted the app and reinstalled without success. Extremely frustrating for this longtime user and promoter of G-Whiz Plus!!! :(

It works. It keeps getting better.

How is this different than using the google website in safari?. Somehow I expected this to be based on the google API to be able to interface with your google data, docs, contacts, etc.... I mean typically when you charge 3 to 10 dollars for an app you're implying that you did some serious development right? Instead it is a bunch of laggy bookmarks to each individual google app on their website that displays in a browser window without back buttons. And it manages to crash every other time I try to load a new page or type something in. Was looking for an app for to use google docs with, for which this is genuinely worthless. Tasks was too buggy. And the second time checking gmail i got a popup advert from the developer? No thanks. Judging by the other glowing reviews I guess I just don't get it? Maybe I am using the internets wrong?

Video ads everywhere!!. Something changed recently and now in the app being bombarded by ads opening in a video window. Click close and it opens again. Making app useless. It's on the verge of being deleted. Back to google news app.

A Must Have. This app is a must for anyone using Google Apps for EDUs on the iPad!

It stopped working two weeks ago.. It stopped working two weeks ago. I can’t edit or add dates to my calendar.I’ve been using it for years! It’s been a lifeline for my work and appointments. I’m so bummed. 😢

BEWARE, App no longer under development. Although the app works and is functional I didn't realize it had not been updated since 2011; this obviously means no support for iPhone 5 screen size. I foolishly purchased this based on all the glowing reviews and the fact that it was an all encompassing Google app. After realizing there was no iPhone 5 screen size support I did some searching and found many comments that the developer has been none responsive to requests for support due to app crashing and slow load times on iOS 6. I have not experienced slow load times but am really frustrated that there's no iPhone 5 support. If my concerns above are addressed this is almost a 5 star app; push notifications even if the app is closed would be the icing on the cake.

Two gaps from 5 star. This app is really very good, and it does give access to many things Google. My only two complaints are the way it handles my Google signature, which is to say when I respond to an email, it puts my response at the top of the message and my signature at the bottom, with the email I am responding to in between. The other thing is the calendar. I can see this as good enough on an iPhone, but on the iPad I've got enough real estate to do a better job on the calendar. It only has Day and Month views, and on the Month view there is no detail shown on any of the days. You have to select the day to see the detail. If those two things were fixed it is absolutely a 5 star app.

Good app. I only give this app 4 stars due to a couple small things I don't care for. First thing, sometimes when your on talk, it tells you there are no contacts to display and when you type a name into search it just keeps spinning and thinking without a result. Second, the Facebook app is frustrating due to, when clicking on a thread or picture, instead of going back to where you were, you are forced to start at the top of the news feed. I got this app mainly for the talk feature, and besides the occasional "No contacts to display", I am satisfied with this app. I paid $.99 for it, witch I thought was a much better price than the $2.99 it was originally listed at. The $2.99 was too much just for getting rid of adds.

Chopped Talk. I like using the IM feature in gmail, and was excited to have it on my phone. "Talk" works great if you keep it on screen/active, but when notified you have a response to a conversation, 9 out of 10 times the conv stream is gone - Gwiz prompts you to "Refresh" and it does not. You end up with just one entry in the field, and if you forgot what the conversation was about you're left with having to go into your gmail and pull up the old part of the conv in Chats, or sometimes the old conv is in your inbox with the update. This is the only thorn for me, and I hope it gets sorted. Otherwise this app encompasses everything in gmail. Nice to have access to my Documents and (online) Picassa albums. Links you click on in this app keep you within the app, this is good, but it can get a little cramped on screen, and feels slow at times. These problems were not enough to keep me from buying the full version - after using the light version.

I use the tasks feature. I use the tasks feature all the time. I depend on it. It’s very reliable.

Has potential.... Currently, this app is a little worse than using Safari. If you know how to add items to your bookmarks bar in Safari, and how to turn on the setting that makes the bar always visible, Safari can do evereything this can do, and more. Since I can't access my bookmarklets, I can't use Instapaper, readability, evernote, delicious, Twitter, or other services I use via bookmarklets in Safari. The program also does not consistently load the English / US version of for each of the Google sites, despite having set that as the default in the preferences. However, I like the idea of a dedicated Google app browser, and if some additional functions were added, like push notifications and Instapaper support, it might turn into something nice. As it is, I feel I wasted my money...

Can NOT open attachments in other Apps...major problem for me.... These comments are for the paid version. Browser like functionality for Gmail use which is nice...you can 'send from' your different email accounts directly from G-Whizz. This is Google's mobile web page, and the GWHIZZ app is only behaving like a browser I believe, so no real points for G-Whizz on that one. Major problem is if you need to open an attachment in another app...like Dropbox, DocstoGo, Sugarsync or any other (like Sign'nSend to sign a document and send back out with you signature, or any other to markup your attached file and send back out). You canNOT do this with G-Whizz. To be FAIR you can 'Open in Safari' and Safari allows you to 'Open in...' another app....BUT WHY PAY for an App when Safari will do ALL of the Mail features for free ? This extra step and mis-use of resources is even worse. HOPE YOU CAN FIX this 'Open in...' missing feature soon...it's a big one to me and probably other users! PS - Cannot save documents in Google Docs either. Regarding Google Docs, a complimentary desktop (pc, mac, linux) application would make sense to help sync or upload/download folders/files...this one is a wish list because there are a couple of individual programs out there to do this. It's just that if you're promoting app as an "end all" type of solution to work with Google, this is a major issue for Google Docs users...maybe make it an inapp option/purchase for those who need it.

Very useful, but with some glitches that should be fixed. I really like the capability to go from gmail to Facebook to Twitter to reader and other Google apps, but there seems to be some problem that causes occasionally long delays when going to Facebook. Perhaps it is the fault of Facebook, but there are no similar delays encountered when viewing the news feed from the Facebook app for iPad or from Safari. Also, i don't know how to use G-Whiz to continue a Google Voice text conversation. There is a button for starting a text message or place a call, but I don't know how to continue a conversation in progress. So this is an application with real potential. I would prefer to use an application like this to using individual apps, but more work needs to be done. I will be looking for updates resolving the issues I described.

It's okay. It's a web browser. May be useful.. I've just put the Facebook app back on my phone - I can't link a name in a post on this app. And it's a just a web browser, which I knew - but paid anyway. I wanted to get resource and notification hogs like the Facebook app off of my phone. I'm not on social media much - but I need quick access. Ideally this app will still be useful enough to keep.

Needs a few changes. Where are G Chats? I'd like to have access to my contacts and be able to chat with them. Also, why do I have to enter my password EVERY time I want to log in? I used to be able to sign in endlessly without having to enter my password. Really frustrating and I'm not sure the push notifications work properly. I'd like to have a number of emails that includes all my filters and not just my inbox. Finally, PLEASE update the entry format for calendar events. Contrary to what the app dictates, events start and end at times that are not on the quarter-hour. Resolving these issues, I would be a much happier user. New update has none of my suggestions...also, to add to the issue, I've opened the app twice and had it crash both times. Additionally, I've had a label that indicates and unread email, but cannot find the email!! What's th deal?!?!

Glitchy Reader. Seemed fine when I "test drove" the free version, but I upgraded to the paid app and suddenly the settings were different. I bought the app primarily for Reader (although I use a lot of google apps so I figured I would eventually try the others). I finally figured out that the free app had defaulted to "Desktop Look" for Reader and I changed the paid app settings to match. Now it looked the way I wanted, but the functionality was glitchy. It's nearly impossible to "click" the nav pane (on left) in the magical "right" way that the app seems to want. As a result, I find it nearly impossible to change to a different feed. Sometimes the reading pane (right side) is really finicky as well and you can only scroll if your finger is just on top of the scroll bar, which is annoying. I've closed the app, uninstalled and reinstalled several times, retried the free version, updated my OS, everything I can think of to resolve the issue to no avail. The reading pane functionality may have been improved by one of those things, but being largely unable to switch feeds makes that irrelevant. I guess I must not have tested the free version long enough, because this app (for Reader) has become pointless.

Doesn't deliver!. The description sounded fantastic so I jumped in. Sadly this app is no different than the FREE Gmail app... you're still confined to the limited and crappy half-screen view of your email that Google sticks you with (vs the full screen view from the built in Mail app). Granted, you can at least view an emulated rendering of the full Gsnail web site, if you can tolerate the lag. And the idea of accessing other Google services is limited. Most are limited functionality and you still cannot use Google Talk nor Video conferencing. Another complaint is the inability to send email attachments to other INSTALLED applications, like Adobe Acrobat for instance in case, God forbid you want to print or save something (which, again, isn't a problem in the default Mail app). Finally, the app crashes constantly. Save your money and install Gmail. It's pathetic as a mail client, but at least it's free and does give you somewhat more control in managing your email.

Google rocks. Although my favorite is Google stand alone app because of its wealthy data base (one needs only to type 2 key words or so) I love the all in one of Google plus!

Great App. Super Useful.

Not bad so far for a browser with the main google app. Basically this google apps browser is great for use with my iPad 2, since everything just about revolves around these apps because of iPad, it seemed like a very useful app so far. Only had 1 problem with it it closing after I open it then choose the out selection icon for bookmarks, email and so on. If I don't choose something, it just closes. At the moment I am going to say close and not crash because I am not sure it's by design or it is a crash, we shall see in future releases. But for my first go at, very impressed after signing n to everything, making a few tweaks, I must sy it's a very nice app for my collection and maybe daily use, got dolphin HD, so it's hard to change...will see. Nice work though! Scadarick

Doc support needs work. This app functions well for the most part, but needs major help in the Google Docs area. I found the same problems with this app as I did with Safari ... using a bluetooth keyboard there are some serious bugs in typing text. These seriously affect the ability to edit docs. Also, there is no way to share a document unless you choose to use the desktop version, which doesn't integrate well with iOS. I also found that the settings options were very limited. Could not find a way to force this app to fetch new mail. I would hear a notification in my native mail app and then would have to refresh my inbox to see new messages. If you get it while it's on sale, it's worth it. If not, wait for it to go on sale again.

Great start to a really useful app. I rely heavily on Google services, and this app provides a simple one window view to toggle between them all. Although Safari provides the same Google site functionality, it's nice to have the full frame cleanly taken up by the app without any browser chrome. I use this on the iPad, and some services would benefit by having the option to use the desktop versions as opposed to the default mobile ones. Happy to say I wrote the developer about this and got a friendly and fast response that this functionality is on its way. Even it its current form, G-Whizz occupies the coveted 1st spot on the left in my iPad's dock, and it has replaced my Gmail shortcut for my main email access.

Meh. It's basically a stand alone web browser that integrates all the Google mobile web pages. No new content that you can't already get through Safari. Mildly handy to have all Google's sites integrated, but I was hoping for something unique. The biggest dissapointment for me is the lack of Tasks on the iPad. Tasks is currently not available on the iPad for some reason. This seems to be a Google issue since it isn't working in Safari or this app. But since Tasks is listed as one of the 18 Google services accessible thourgh this G-Wizz app I thought maybe this developer had designed a work around. No such luck - Tasks does not work in this app either (on the iPad). Major bummer. The developer might want to make a note of this on the App Store description so other iPad user's aren't misled.

Simple. Reliable. Comprehensive. If you want to open one app and toggle between calendar, email, tasks, google drive that doesn't try to reinvent the google experience this is a excellent choice. You can customize the menu at the bottom which has made it my most valuable app.. I have installed the new gdrive and gmail and it takes forever to load on my OG iPad. While its no secret that Google tries to be everything to everyone and ends being mostly mediocre this app simply delivers Googles non remarkable product in a no nonsense straight forward manner. I expected Gwhiz to crash with its range of function but it has been very dependable unlike some many apps released that shouldn't due to poor reliability.

Very Google. I give 4 stars just because there is always room for improvement. The app is perfect for getting to all things google in one spot. I use it all the time, I put it on the dock. Looks and acts just like Google the in a browser which many people probably think is the smart way to design it, because everyone will know exactly how to use it, it's hard to argue against that but... I'm a designer I'd like to see a Flipboard or Pulse-like interface, at least an app that's made for a touchscreen interface. It's the tail wagging the dog, but the reality is it's going to be touchscreen, tablet/phone world. Give me big buttons for my fingers to hit easy. Do that and I'll probably give you 4 stars because it's not like the old google....

Needs a few tweaks. I've been using this app for a while and it's a very convenient way to move between Google apps from a central location. I do have two complaints, however. (1) Why can't Chrome be included as one of the navigation choices? (2) The Calendar function does not have a way to set a reminder for a newly added appointment or event. To set a reminder you have to go into the native Google calendar that you can only get to by following a link at the bottom of the calendar page. And when you do this you get a warning that using this version, rather than the mobile version, will reduce functionality. Why can't you just make the Google native calendar, which folks use on their desktop, the main supported calendar within the app?

Very handy with a few wish list items. I love the convenience of all of my Google apps in one place, however, there are things that could be improved: The browser function is almost useless. When you click on a link in either a gmail message or in blog feed (and perhaps other applications that I don't use) the "browser" function does not load pages as expected. For example, if I am reading a blog post or LiveJournal entry in Reader, and I click to comment within Browser, nothing happens, so I have to leave the app and go to the actual webpage in Safari to make a comment, negating the "all in one place" ease of the app. I need to be able to see contacts in e-mail. Unless I can't find it, there is no directory of contacts. Yes, if you know the email address or name of the person to whom you are sending, great, you type it and it populates. However, there are times when I need to see the list of contacts to trigger my memory and find the person I wish to send my message to. It would be nice to have a Blogger button so one could post from within the app. All-in-all, it is a nice app and would recommend.

Was a great program 4-5 star. This is a re-review of the program. The last update seems to have fixed the image display issue with the e-mail. The program is still a little unstable when changing from e-mail to web and back. I am sure future updates will address the issue. I would give the program a 5 star if the developer would comment on report bugs. Even if it was a form letter. Prior review I have been using the program for quite sometime. The program worked very well and I used it for reading my e-mail over other programs. The last upgrade was a actual downgrade. I no longer can display images. The show images button does not work. I have reinstalled the program several times with no results. I contacted the developers of the program with no response. Perhaps when people stop buying the program they will provide a fix. For now, I would stay away from this program.

Great app, made even better by new Google Mail. I have always really liked G-whizz -- easy to manage, lots of apps easy to find. Now that Google Mail has updated itself, to something I rate as low as possible, G-while is even more appealing.

CAUTION: AbandonWare - Functionality Crippled. Caution: Developer Abandoned in Spring 2016. The “Gmail” part still works, but just about everything else is either deprecated, never connects, or just doesn’t work anymore. I bought in Dec 2015, and within 6 months ir become crippled. The first month it worked quite well. I keep looking for an update, but NO, the developer has abandoned this software since last year. Pretty much dead since Mid 2016...

Pretty, pretty good (for first week but now problematic). In my opinion was more stable than Facebook - at first. I was new to Google + but getting into it. Twitter's working fine but not any better than the standard app. Having several of these social networking things in one app was my concern. And now I see why. No problems at first. After a few weeks no more Google Talk. Which was the most important feature. Web page "Error 404," on a blank page comes up - on both my iPhone and iPad. Also I'm still logged in to Google account but several of the other social media not. Talk was no longer on the app menu bar either. I had to look for it in G+. Obviously something's gone wrong. I'll give it another few days for an update and then delete the app. I have my doubts about Google+ in general, so do most my friends. Oh well.

To buy or not to buy.... I love my Google apps... We are a family of 5 and we all have our own calendars... I have found it difficult integrate all of our calendars into the iPad 2 included app. With this app it looks just like it does on my desktop... My Google Voice works, I have access to all of my email, contacts, etc. Plus any of the other Google apps that I like and use so much... This app should be listed as a "MUST HAVE" Well worth far more than what they charge... This app will be on every iPad that each member of my family has... I just learned that I can't scroll down in my emails... This is a problem... I will update as it becomes available... To date the only problem that I've found is that you can't scroll in desktop mode... :-/

Awesome App. Imminent fix comming for rating nag. 1st. Yes this app rocks. More importantly, the devs have apologizes for the constant ratings nag. They promptly submitted the fix for Apple approval. It was a coding error, unintended, and they profusely apologizes. And they even prominently displayed a warning of the bug on the app's download page! They did this in thw interest of full disclosure and good faith... Even though it must be hurting their sales. Given all that, I believe weshould refrain from giving the app 1 star. Especially since theyve been so honest and a fix is imminent. In otherwords, the problem is only temporary yet the 1 star reviews will last forever. And no, i have no relation to the developers. My motive is simple... I want these guys to be successful so they have the funds to keep enhancing the app. Ultimately, each reviewer is free to five as many stars aa they like... But if you agree with me that it is unfair to rate the app with 1 star in light of the above, then we all win if you refrain from doimg so.

What the difference between the PLUS version $2.99 & the $0.99 version?. I wanted to know what the difference between the PLUS version $2.99 & the $0.99 version? I noticed that the description for each version is EXACTLY alike. Thank you in advance for your time.

G-Whiz review. This app worked fine for two years then Apple required an update of month ago and since then I have deleted it,added it back in and it still does not work. I was told if I got a newer phone it would probably work but my phones on two years old so I found a way to not need G-Whiz. This is a very to satisfied customer

This is for the social media driven person who can't act till all is been checked updated and...... As one of the many, who is caught up, or should I dare to say is prompted. Arise from slumber to rush to the iPad, iPhone, laptop, or even desktop. Knowing that there will be dozens of emails notification and pokes and tag and can't forget tweets. The averaged American or should I say person in general is ruled by social media. This app I one of my go to apps when I have a short time to be jumping from app to app. There is everything and anything you would need to get threw your day just here all in this one app. I use this as a way to sum up the average amount of who what when and why of the day is sent to me. Or about me. This world is faster becoming more computer based. Then personal based. Everything a person or personal assistant would do is here at the tap of one app. Why pay to have some one do it for you when it can just be brought to one easily learned app. I'm far from saying don't go on your soul Facebook app twitter app and so on but this will cut the am update time in second. This is an app I have given my self as a thank god it all there and I don't have to keep jumping out and into other apps. If you are a social media driven person that has to have it all there in one app this is the app for you. loves it !!!!

Has potential but has one annoying issue!. As I am moving more of my personal and business to google applications, I thought I would give this app a shot. I was really in search of a good Google Talk app and this does well. Not overwhelmed with the organization and not convinced that it is any easier having Facebook and twitter all in one app (seemed pretty easy just to click on each app before). I would have given 4 stars but for a notification indicator that seems to say I have a message, but none of the interior apps shows a new notification. I have checked EVERYWHERE and I can't find a new/unread message. That has been annoying!!!

Totally worth it! What all the Google apps should have been!. I'd been kind of ignoring this app for a long time, but picked it up a whim during the holiday sale. Glad I did! I totally agree with others, this is definitely what the other Google apps *ought* to have been! Very nice interface, *easily* replaces several others. The one minor request I have is I'd like to see voice incorporated into the Translate, but I'm guessing that has more to do with a limitation Google is setting than it does any kind of problem on the developer's side. That's a really minor thing though. Overall really well done!

Perfect at what it does, Promising for what it could do. I use this app daily to access my Voice and Reader accounts with Google. I don't have to sign in every time I open the app, and there are dedicated "tabs" for each Google App, meaning I don't have to shuffle through open pages in Safari...*perfect* One request, which the developer has said they will work on is a custom URL scheme so other apps (like Prowl, Pushmail, etc) can directly open the app when a certain e-mail or Growl trigger is received. That would make this app go above and beyond for me.

Great alternative to IPad IOS default apps. For those of us with iPads who are active Gmail users, this app is much better than IPad's default mail, calendar, etc. It retains more of the features of google's full web based mail interface, and I can see all the shared calendars I am following, which I have not been able to synch to iPad's calendar app. I have not played around with many of the features but mail and calendar, but the Gwizz app is straightforward and easy to set up. Hopefully a future update will add google music for easy access to my music in the google cloud. Contacts would be nice too. Overall a great app.

Leaves Google's Gmail app for dead. Generally very good app. Occasional crashes. Supports multiple Gmail email accounts...a big plus. Needs to support multiple Twitter accounts though so you don't have to keep logging in and out of them. Shame it doesn't import account settings from free version when you upgrade: you have to set it all up again. Otherwise a strong app and well done to the developers.

Versatile app. This app is very easy to set up and to use. It does what you need several other apps to do otherwise. It is reliable and pleasant to use. The only complaint I have is the curious way you put photos on facebook - via an email. But overall they have done a super job.

superb. I use this every single day - several times. it's easy to load and use, does exactly what it says it will do and makes keeping in touch with friends a breeze. One of the best apps I've come across.

Much Better and Improved. **Update Oct 2010 ** Much better now. I really like the inclusion of Facebook and other apps into the browser functionality built in. A little more development and this will be an awesome MUST HAVE app. Bought this and wish I hadn't really. There's no point. It seems a bit 'buggy' and slow for my liking. Maybe some further development will make it a little more user friendly. Actually gone back to using the email & calendar apps for the iPad as they're quicker. The reader component to this just annoyed me no end. Anyway, until further development is done to speed it up and make it a little quicker, I wouldn't bother paying $5.99 for this. Just not worth it.

DPB. This is the best Google App I've come across for iPad. It conveniently brings all Google functions into one easy to use place. Super for opening Doc's, spreadsheets and calendars. Keep up the good work!

An OK app once the bugs are ironed out. Nice combination of apps brought together, but still some hiccups in Facebook and gmail (won't show mail items!). Don't worry about updates so much as bug fixes at this stage.

It's a pretty sniffy app. I like it. I can use it to do many things in one app. One suggestion, can you please integrate it with LinkedIn as well? Then it'll be a perfect app for me.

Great. Does everything I need.. I use it mostly for gmail, talk, and docs. It's so much quicker and easier than using each product separately in a browser.

Great product. I am presently using Google Business Apps for our franchise network and this app has integrated well with our mobile network at POS

Brilliant. I love using this app. It may only be a shell for the mobile versions of the websites, but it's one hell of a shell. The inclusion of the Facebook mobile site was good too, since I prefer the site to the app.

Very good, especially since it combines several apps into one.. I really appreciate how much space this app saves on my phone. The interface is good, the functionality of the shared apps is all intact and it runs at good speed. Great job devs!

Not worth buying. Bought this to get a smoother gmail experience than safari or email can offer. But no push email, and had problems setting up two gmail accounts. Developer told me how to do this but it failed and app broke and stopped working. Then told it doesn't support two addresses and to delete app and reinstall. Nice idea, but basically just a browser onto the google servers, not worth buying.

Very handy. This app is very useful. I mainly use the calendar, but also found using docs on-the-go incredibly helpful when organising my wedding and updating guest lists, contact details, appointments, etc. Recommended.

Convenient. Just makes working with google easy for my business and now I am using it for my business with virtual assistants across the globe - awesome.

Mr.. I been using this App for few days and I can see is potential best App I come across I give 5 Star till you try it you don't know watt you miss.....

Bring Back Gchat!. I'm seriously disappointed and a lot annoyed that they took Gchat out! I used it all the time and now if I want to use it I have to use my laptop which is such a pain because I have an iPad for convenience and not being able to use Gchat on my iPad is a big inconvenience. I used to love this app a lot (would have given it 5 stars) but now, not so much. Bring back Gchat please!

Looked Good BUT...... I thought this app would be vast improvement to the storage & apps on my iPhone which I use on the go for work & team meetings/project management. It was looking good connecting Google Drive, One Drive with not a glitch however I then tried to join blogger an app that they recommend and looked great. The whole app has frozen and does not matter what you do nothing...... when I click on the 24 hr help this is no longer available?????

Good app. Places all the Google apps in one place and to have the google calendar and mail in the one interface is worth the price of admission alone. The lack of constant synchronisation of mail tho is a pain if you get caught without an Internet connection and then need to manually synch.

Best of the crop!. A nice tidy collection of Google tools; I especially like the access I get to my google docs - no need for dropbox or other such applications. Nice! You have a fan

Great for apps mail & GTalk!. Fantastic stability for apps mail and GTalk - the two main reasons I bought it. Not sure what the point of the Facebook feature is as it's underfeatured and has a bit of a lag, but everything else about this app is gold.

A good if not quite excellent integration of Google programs. I like the convenience of having the Google programs I use integrated in one app. However, I would like to remove a couple of Google programs. Also, I have two Gmail accounts, but cannot see how to access them from the one interface as one can with the native iPad mail app.

G-Fizzle!. If you want to use the docs feature, do not buy. Useless for Google docs usage. Will not allow opening desktop version, which can be done through Safari. I don't need this for gmail as the native Mail app works better than this one. I wil be avoiding apps from this company until G-Whizz works.

Great integrative app. Beautifully integrated Google app w bonus integrations such as Facebook. All in one place with taps to move between. Not entirely intuitive to use but easy enough. Especially useful when opening links within Emails.

Needs Update. Pretty good but why no refresh tab or pull down refresh for Facebook and also no back tab

Best thing ever!. I use this software on a daily basis and I'm not sure what I did without it before. Everything in one place well worth the small investment.

Almost perfect. Best app for accessing all google related stuff. Would just like the facility ordering frequently used functions to appear first in view to work a little better. 4.5 stars really!

Great app/product. I have been using this app for ages now and it is the perfect one stop portal! It is easy to use and I would recommend it to everyone. How can you go wrong with Google !

Pretty good. I use it mainly for the google stuff of course. It uses the normal google interfaces, so that's nice. I find it better than the browser for it though, mainly cause it frustrates me to have to use the browser for that kind of thing. Would much rather have dedicated apps like this. It'll of course also give you notifications unlike the browser.

It's OK.. It's an OK app for convenience, like checking email and have a quick look on FB to see what's going on. But when I tried to reply or comment on FB my posts don't appear at all, also if you look at a photo there is no close button and you have to go back to news feed and it doesn't go back to where you were. Definitely scope for improvement, for a paid app I give it 3 stars.

Does all it says. Of all the multi-use apps this one is solid, no hangs or crashes

I love this app. I've been despairing at not having Chrome to play with on my iPad, and now I have this app which is even more convenient in some ways. My new fave iPad toy.

Great Value. Better than the standalone apps, well worth the price. Just needs a few extra features to get that 5th!

Easy to use.. Great to keep in track of email and facebook all at the one time.

Good stuff. Really good app and does pretty much what I expected. Wish it had push notifications for Gmail and Google Voice actually worked. All in all though, pretty solid.

Disappointing server errors. Good idea. Fairly clean interface. However it wont allow me to edit and update a google doc, which makes it pretty much useless for my purposes. It brings up a server error. If you are buying it to view and maintain google docs, you will be disappointed.

Great when it works (which is almost never). It's nice to be able to set your favourite social networking sites to load as native desktop versions alongside each other. It's just a shame that when you try to do anything like make a post on a site, the app generally runs out of memory and crashes, making it considerably less useful than just loading up tabs in Safari. Given I close every other running app beforehand to try to avoid this, it's really not good enough. It should utilize the iPad2's 512MB of ram far more efficiently to avoid this.

Good. Have been using this daily. Makes checking email and Facebook easy. Would like Facebook chat to be included however. Also be able to remove menu items like myspace if you aren't a user. Otherwise recommend it.

Avarege App. I was hesitating to buy this app and I now regret buying it! It uses the same gmail mobile interface with no much extras than what u get in Safari. No push notification and forwarding an email uses a basic html and loses all the rich style of the original email. Google voice talk was not working for some reason. I wish the next update will bring so much value to this app.

Love google but.... I love it coz everything's in one app. But i don't like it when you're chatting with someone and they can't find you or you can't find them coz for some reason, it's either you or them who's offline. Hard to find the one you're talking to or want to talk to. Can you please fix it? Thank you.

Nearly!. It's a lot better than the Gmail application. However it could do with multi login interface and removing some other apps.

Works for me!. Convenient access to all things google on my mobile devices. Thank you.

Gwizz all google products in one place so convienent. Great app I love it! Could improve the chat a little doesn't always work and can't sign out. Would also love to see private browsing somewhere?

Nice work. Like heaps. Would love if it could be running when I want it to love your work everyone should have this if you need your hassle free use grap this great app thanks guys

It is so easy..and all in one place. This is just so handy. Emails and all google pages and services in one place on your Ipad.

It's good for me!. So far so good - have the full version. I don't have any complaints though haven't really explored using it to it's full extent. Allowed me to bypass gmail when it kept crashing on my iPad mini

Fix refresh & chat!. Brilliant app! I love that I can do several thing in one app! Chat needs work as it takes far too long to refresh and if you refresh yourself your contacts disappear. Also found people online do not always show up!

Fantastic Product!. I love this product and use it always to check my Gmail. It's very reliable and a pleasure to use.

Very handy and relable. Nice app, almost everything you need on your iPad. Flexible setup, easy to use. Sometimes became slow or even crashes though. Highly recommended.

All google services, 1app. I use Google reader a lot more now I ave G-Whizz. I would give it 5 stars if it gave me the ability to switch accounts/have more than 1 mailbox in the app. Great app, definitely worth downloading

Great app for business. Awesome app. I run my whole business through Google apps for business and my staff and I rely on GWhizz on our iPads

Brniydgurl. So far so good. I love the talk app, maps and gmail version and as well the fact that using the email option I can send more than one attachment at a time and mark my labels as if I was on my computer!!

Slow. Gmail works fine but gcal is sooo slow. Using it on iphone. Such a disappointment. Buying the pro version worked no better than the free one. To make it worse, gcal will often load and load and load then tell me I have no events events scheduled when my pc gcal shows that I clearly do. Want my money back.

Handy. Good app. Only annoying thing in Gmail on iPad is that I can't collapse the mailbox list to display messages full screen.

Waiting for speed to increase. Won't spring for the paid app until the free one shows me it's worth it. It's a little slow and crashy. One star. UPDATE: Paid for the app, still crashes and Facebook doesn't have all the functionality I enjoy. It's ok... 3 stars for now.

Bad. Google voice doesn't work at all. All this app do just link things to safari. Don't waste your money!

Valuable. It's a great idea to have an app that pulls in my twitter and Facebook whith my mail. The control over g drive is also very good. I wish push notifications for email were better though.

Crap. 1/2 Assed....Should Of Been Free....Crap

Convenient. I like it because i don't have to have separate apps. All in ones good. Good job on that!

Apps browser. Love this app. Everything to do with google just works. They should take over Microsoft

Calendar. Calendar has not worked all month, not happy about it

Good so far. Works well so far.

Good Stuff …. I use it everyday … All Day … It's my Go-To App … And it works like a charm …

Rating. Right now it is a little difficult to rate G-Whizz. What I can say is so far it's been great. Just downloaded it on my iPhone.

All in one. Love having all my favourite functions in one place! Great app!!

Best ever!. Used all day/every day. Love it, have yet to find anything to equal it!

Cute, but what function?. Not sure what this really does for me beyond a few clever animations.

Speed. I am able to negotiate google apps with ease

Pretty good. You can't send group emails unless you select each recipient separately. With the new upgrade I can't see all my emails together and to have to 3 different pages.

Une superbe app. G-Whizz est vraiment très pratique et me permet de me connecter, rechercher et lire mes courriels avec simplicité! Bon achat.

G whiz app. Excellent service, thank you!!

save your money. does not load half the time. when logging into account, you can't even see the characters! it's slow and clunky. just use safari and stay away from this app. Such a rip off at 4.99.

As advertised. Use it every day - does what it should, well

Convenient app. Helpful

:). Good app!

X. Not thrilled. Docs doesnt work at all. Want all your Google apps in one place? Put them in a folder.

Love it!. Great app. I can get all my stuff in one place! keep up the good work.

Mail and Calendar. The app apparently lacks the functionality to add an item to the calendar from within a mail message. This stops it from being a Five star app!

Great app. I use it every day. Never had an issue.

Nice. Nice app

App. Great

Most useful app on my phone. I have no problem accessing my accounts and using the calendar. Makes my life easier.

It works. Which is what I look for in apps.

Facebook. My facebook wasn't that good.. I dont know why.. Tsk.. Hope to fix this asap

Unwieldly. The google docs function crashes and logs me out repeatedly, which is a shame because that is why I got this. As well, the hopping up and down keyboard screen bounces are frustrating.

Good, but could be better. I have used this ap for years both on Iphone and IPad. Found it useful and convenient, by and large, but there seems to be a persistent flaw when in Facebook. The ap goes to black and reverts to the screen of icons. Happens almost every time and is really annoying. When I go to FB outside the ap, no blackouts.

Happy Browsr. Great app! Enjoy using it.

Love it !. Was worried that my google access would be limited from my iPad. Am very happy it isn't !

Bien fait et pratique. Good

Good but could be improved. Great app, my only issue is that the calendar never works for me. Once this is addressed it could be 5 stars

Aaargh!. I already reviewed this. Stop telling me to review it!

Awesome. Very nice app

My calendar isn't syncing - otherwise love it. I'm normally really happy with this app, but since the last update, my Calendar is no longer syncing. I am only able to see those things I've added through the app, it doesn't pick up the things I've added directly to my Google Calendar. A big problem for me. Hope you can fix this soon....

:(. You can not attach anything (!) to your email messages!! Awful - please give me back my money!!

Great Ap. Has everything you'll ever need from google

I use it all the time!. I have been using this app for almost a year and it consistently performs well. It is always changing and improving with Google.

It's ok.. Ok

Crashes but handy. Appreciate the app, crashes on me though, calendar is very slow to load and I paid for the upgrade. Hoping to see it continue to improve.

Awesome app. Consolidates other aps

Excellent!. Like to be able to access calendar, drive and maps in one place!

Okay. Its not to bad hope it gets better

Picasa & g-chat & google voice pending to improve. All in all it was worth the purchase however I wish they stop bugging me with reviews after I spent money on it. Google chats, could improve whenever I find them, and Picasa needs to be more like an Apple arty tool: The photos are too small and I haven't found a way to change the photo that is to be the cover art of each album. All in all it's beneficial to have it because it helps you control mail straight from the server. However Google needs to keep on improving mobile applications, we all know they need to improve in this area. But dp they know so?m I enjoy having Google tasks, Without needing a separate client.

Worsened. I've had this app for about a month now, and for the first three maybe three and a half weeks it works great. (5 stars) But as of late the app crashes about 10-15 seconds after opening. (-3 stars) I was hoping I would read some other reviews and see the same but I don't see any others that say anythig about it. Maybe GWhizz could come out with an update or something so that I can use my app without it crashing. Overall, it's a good app but I can't use it anymore. Does anyone know anything that I could do to help fix it? Thanks!

G-Whizz is Broken - this is not acceptable for a paid applications, fix!!!. This application used to work great, however a couple weeks back something changed (think iOS6 was the cause). Anyway, I run my business off this application which sync's with my 'Google Apps Business Account.' These are all paid apps / hosting accounts / email addresses that work terribly now - I have to login every time I need to see a new calendar event (appointment) or look at emails. This is not acceptable for paid apps! I've pretty much given up on google and use my desktop only until they get this figured out. Google...I'm sticking with apple products, so make them work or ill find other applications that will!

Free U.S.&Canada calls with iPad!!!!!!. Awesomely cool. FREE INCOMING & OUTGOING CALLS and TEXTS. Have the biggest Cell out there While having an iPad ( works also with iPod touch). Combine your google voice account phone number ( full, not lite) with the Talkatone App ( free of course ). --calls won't work using only google voice on the iPad-- -- in google voice forward calls n texts to google number (mail account)-- -- DO NOT add your real cell number, nor forward calls to that or you'll receive calls on ur mobile NOT on iPad--- -- you have to be wi-fi or 3g to receive n make calls -- While in Talkatone sign in using the google voice account and vua'la! Free calls to all phones, NOT JUST to other app users but ALL PHONES (U.s. n Canada), keep the Talkatone app open in background and receive incoming calls as well. Can you say "come" all over the place? Lol

Love the functionality. I mainly use the docs app in this app because it's a great way to keep my blogging organized. It's ridiculously easy to create and maintain an Editorial Calendar through G-Whizz. Some of the functions within this app gets pushed to the side, though, but I imagine having all Google offers in this mobile app can really benefit mobile users. I do like the reader function as well. Through this function I'm able to keep up with the blogs to which I subscribe, and the Google Books app is nice, too, for researching and reading.

One great compilation. What I did not see mentioned in the description was that this app also connects you to your Facebook and twitter accounts (I could have just missed it) and it does a great job at both. This app is worth having if you use a bunch of google apps, and do not want to constantly switch browser windows to get to each app. What would make this app truly amazing for me : Please, please, please add google analytics. Maybe a connection to LinkedIn as well (I know it's not google, but you have Facebook and twitter). Consider connecting flickr as well, making it easier to share photos between flickr, Facebook, and picasa. Add an easy way to access mail settings in gmail, for accounts and import especially. That's just a wish list of extras, the app is great as is, and worth buying for us google fans. Thank you you for this great tool.

Legit. This app is pretty good and, as mentioned in other reviews, does exactly what it says it will do. I think it makes for a nice alternative to safari if you use your gmail/google account for lots of stuff and don't like having to always switch back and fourth using safari. This works nicely as a google interface, I think. Lets you keep everything together nicely in the absence of a google app specifically for that purpose.

Nearly perfect in almost every way. I use Google's apps for my personal and business calendar, mail and contacts for several years now. My first iPhone was the 3GS. I've used MANY different apps before GWhizz but this is the first time I've reviewed one (except the 2 I trashed). I really enjoy using the app and use it frequently each day. I can't add reoccurring calendar events or modify ones I have set up at my desktop, but I can easily write and answer emails, work on one of my 5 calendars displayed, and do other work. Be smarter than i was. Do yourself a favor and START by getting and using this app!

Love it but.... I think it is an incredible app. it has just about everything in one. My only dislikes are it doesn't navigate back and forward and it has shut down on me a couple of time. Other than that I'm impressed and well pleased, those are the only reasons I'm not giving it a five star and a total loving it. If you're interested in purchasing, I'll advise you to get it because I don't think you'll be disappointed. I hope this review has been of some assistance to you.

Beautiful App. This app is rather decent with only a few flaws in the navigation in google reader. I bought this app for the sole purpose of google reader, and this app loads my rss feeds fasts, allows me to choose between viewing read and unread posts, or just unread posts. The only problem I have is the inability to just flip through posts in the feed, instead I have to collapse and uncollapse entries I want to look at, making the app less efficient. Otherwise I love it!

Good things. I like most everything about this app... with exception of the fact that it constantly "forgets" my contacts when in gchat or "talk"... and when you click the search button for a known contact for that account, it won't display anything, it just keeps thinking and spinning its wheel. Like the idea... but for the paid version, too many kinks for me... googl's seach hub app does pretty much everything this one does, and it does it cleaner. Haven't had a problem with anything else though. Good stuff. Thanks

Abandoned by developers? Was pretty good until.... Chat disappeared, Google Talk doesn't open (404 error), and support or any kind of explanation is non-existent. ("Developer Website" and App Support" both take you to a Google group that has apparently been abandoned by the developers.) Although a bit unwieldy and unstable, (Google just doesn't seem to be able to get along well with iOS) this app was worth the cost and trouble to me when I was able to switch back and forth between gmail and gchat. Without that I don't see much value, especially if its developers are no longer supporting it. If they're not able to keep up with Google's constantly evolving product mix and API upgrades, this app is worse than useless. Save yourself the frustration and skip this one!

So far so good. I've only been using this app for a day so take my review in light of that. There is so much here that it would take someone several days, if not weeks, to understand it's full potential. I've had no issues with chat, gmail, FB. The complaints you may have read are evidently a device or server issue and not a problem of the app. You're talking about $2.99 for a lot of programs. Don't expect something for nothing.

Really nice. I am very impressed with this app. I have used the Facebook component, the google page, and the gmail app. Everything seems really solid. The only hitch is that I am not able to delete unused app and I would like to edit the menu bar. I sent an email for support two days ago but have not had a response yet. As soon as I get the support answer I will bring this review up to 5 stars. I really love this program. It really acts as a point of contact for our group meetings.

Worst Money Ever Spent. I should not have purchased this app as other Google apps provide more substance than is one does. It does not work at all for what I want it to do, on my iPad. It is better to just make a shortcut to the Google page and put that on your desktop. The app starts up in the Google Voice tab that I want it to, but it won't let me use the calling feature without switching to the desktop version of the page. So basically it does not do what I want it to at all. And now that I went back and saw that I paid $5 for this, I feel very embarrassed and ashamed for doing so. I have bought over 60 apps and this is the worst one yet. The free version works better actually.

Good, but still a bit buggy. The real reason I like this app is because in one program, I can move through all my relevant applications without having to close out of another. Once the iPad is able to multitask though, I feel the mystique of this app will fade. It's crashed on me only twice which is ok, and some bugs are prevalent throughout. One major flaw for me, is the inability to be able to edit Google documents from within this application, right now I have to go to my PC for that. Anyway, I hope the dev keeps making improvements, and keeps this app relevant.

Great idea, but not what I hoped for.. I love the idea of having access to all things google from one app; however, the feature I need most often (calendar) doesn't work well. When you touch the day to view events, it is painfully slow to load. I have access to a friend's google calendar on my own and sometimes this app won't show his events, even though they show with no problem on the desktop version of google calendar and on my Mac where the google calendars are synced with my iCal. I thought that the problem with calendar in this app might resolve if I upgraded to the paid version and it didn't. If they work out this bug, I'd probably rate this app as 5 stars because all the other features perform to the standard I need them to.

Constantly crashes - wait for an update or find an alternative.. The app crashes with regularity - asking me to rate the app resulted in a crash. I have been unable to enter my email without an ensuing crash, and the email is not retained after the crash. If your email is not entered, you are subjected to a pop-up stating that you have no email entered - the pop up causes a freeze. I have no idea about the functionality of the remainder of the app's claims as I have not yet been able to use any of them. Great concept, really poor execution. I have OS5 on my iPad and perhaps that is part of the problem, the app description requires OS4. If you are considering purchasing this app, I would wait until they have an update available. If refunds were a possibility on the App Store I would definitely be asking for one.

Good app, some tweaks desired. The app is basically a dock of shortcuts, which navigate you to the mobile web version of the Google product. It also includes Facebook and Twitter. For the money, it is a very convenient app. I have no major problems with this app. I used to experience a bug with google news. That appears to be fixed. I wish the user could choose which shortcuts are parked in the dock. Instead, the app decides based on the most highly used shortcuts. This is a good feature, but I think the user should have flexibility to choose.

Wonderful app. This app is great for all things Google. I use it for spreadsheets in Docs that my team shares and constantly updates. Syncs quick, great mobile UI, so many features. I use this on my iPad and like that I can still see my Google Voice inbox (can't call from it but I understand why, I just use my home computer to do that.) Highly recommend this for docs. My might be using this more often now if I can get my websites email through it.

I love this app, but........ I love this app! I can get so many things done in one place but....... I can't stand how it constantly gives me a pop up message every time I want to view the calendar in desktop view rather than mobile view on the iPad. I haven't had any problem running the calendar in the desktop view, so I don't see why I have to clear the message every time, then deal with having the constant reminder at the top saying, "having trouble viewing the calendar, switch to mobile view." Perhaps something could be done about this but I will cope with it because of the rest of the features.

Needs work. This app's greatest flaw is its failure to allow users to customize their interface. I want an app with a feed that integrates both RSS & Facebook - and ONLY those two. Google's design foists upon me every product Google makes. So my start page contains a tossed salad of icons: google+, gmail, talk, calendar, twitter, etc. There is no tool for reorganizing the order of these icons (or better yet, deleting the ones I don't want). Ideally, I'd be able to customize the U/I so that I see only my RSS & FB feeds - preferably arranged in a logical & complimentary fashion - or at least move to the side the ones I don't use. But no. Will revise this review when Google enables settings that allow customers freedom to choose arrangements & features according to their personal preferences.

Convenient morning dashboard. It is nice to have much of what I typically check in the morning in the same app. I have two minor issues - 1 the buttons are too easily touched, as often, I'll be in the browser, and suddenly back to gmail - can only figure it's my arm brushing up on the buttons. The second is the limited functionality of the browser window, which seems to only handle one tab at a time, and will overwrite whatever you were looking at before when you click a new link from gmail or Facebook.

Best All-in-One App. With this app ypu've got yourself a browser, several utilities, a leading mail program and access to the finest audio-visual entertainment on the web. Oh, and did I mention opportunities for deals and shoppimg, even at the local level? What's not to like? Plus it saves time not having to locate, download and use several unrelated apps. Most of the G-Whizz ones can be used in conjunction with each other,e.g. shopping and maps, or Photos and Drive. It almost makes up for the loss of i-google. Oh, come on--- I said "almost".

Underwhelming. I bought this to replace iMailG, which started displaying Ad Mob ads on the free version in the last update (yuck!). Swayed by high ratings and glowing feedback I forked over the $3. After using it for a week I can honestly say this app is too packed with mediocre features. I'd rather just have solid mail support and the ability to hide the annoying application ribbon on the bottom (every time I went to delete an email it would launch Google Voice or Reader). In conclusion, I can see why some people really like it (lots of stuff here) but it's not what I wad hoping for.

Awesome except there's no Google Apps. I love this app and see it potentially becoming my #1 app on both my iPhone and iPad. The main problem, and it's a big one for the millions of businesses that use Google Apps, is that I can't hook it up. I need to be able to switch between both accounts in the same app. I hope the developer makes it an option in the toolbar "Switch" that will allow me to switch between the two. As soon as that's done, it will be 5 stars, an app that is used all the time, and one that I will be recommended to every iPhone/iPod/iPad user I know.

Pretty Good App. Overall this is a convenient way to access gmail, google plus, and facebook. Could use a little more refining with iPad touch screen actions. Sometimes it takes several touches to get the desired response. Facebook access also a little troublesome at times where you can't enter a post or comment. Reported to the developer who did investigate and got back to me pretty quickly. Said there is an update coming out soon to possibly remedy these reported issues.

Dear Google Users,. Stop wasting you time on Google's horrible iOS apps (I am looking at you app store Gmail) and just shell out the $2.99 for this app. It is true that it is just a bit more than a glorified interface for Google's mobile web apps but the convenience of having them all accessible in the same interface is fantastic. Also the app adds notifications for a plethora of Google services and these work very well. Kudos to the developers here that have put a better effort forward than Google on iOS.

Would love to love it, baby. It's a really good app. I love the concept and find myself using it often. The thing is, it crashes A LOT. I usually don't mind a crash here and there, but this is just too much. Also, I would love to be able to copy and paste from the body of an email. A link embedded in an email will open in the app's browser. That's cool, except when it crashes and I'm unable to bring the browser up again. It just disappears. So there are a few bugs in it. It is still a keeper though. Much better than the stock email option. Looking forward to the updates!

GMail & Google Docs would not display properly. Device: iPad2, latest and greatest OS patches. The good: The app gives easy access to the various Google features. Facebook, Google Books, Google News - those worked properly. The bad: two consistent problems, one annoying and one major, resulted in uninstalling the app. The minor irritation: I preferred to view the full desktop version of Google calendar in the app. Every single time I opened the calendar I was asked whether I'd rather view a mobile version instead. There *must* be an easy way to opt out of answering this question every freaking time (no, changing the settings in the apps options did not help). The major problem: the app would never show me a full list of email when in GMail or a full list of docs in Google docs and the app would not let me scroll down. Not sure if this is a known issue, but it spoiled my primary uses of the app. It's easier to use Safari and the standard mail/calendar functions in iPad2 to deal with Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs than this app.

Still Trying to Understand Why I Need It.... It is disappointing (for consumers) that Google and Apple don't get along better. I use many Google tools and have numerous Apple devices. I thought this would simplify the interface, but I'm having trouble differentiating the benefit of having two mail apps, two calendar apps, multiple browsers, etc. even if they sync to a common data set. I tried to like it more, but I am seeing no additional functionality than using Google and Apple apps independently...

Very useful app. If you use Google services, this is a great app. I found it particularly useful because it loads sites that Safari has problems with (Tasks, Voice), and places all my PIM tools in a convenient set of "tabs," so I can easily switch between Gmail and Calendar, for example. Really handy. This is the second time I've tried to submit this review... But I keep getting asked to submit more reviews. I really like the app, but this behavior, either from the store or the app, not sure which, is annoying and needs to be fixed.

great app, wish this was the google app. the only thing missing is the voice search function, other than that there are other reviews that state the advantages of this app vs safari, so I won't get into that here. I'll just say it's useful enough that it earns a spot in my dock! I do wish the developer would update this more often, a high res icon and push notifications would be nice. (almost necessary in some cases)

Great - except for chat feature. The gmail part of this app works great. The chat function used to be almost useless (chat notifications would be pushed, but you couldn't click through or find the conversation). This has been greatly improved. Now the active conversations are at the top and you can navigate back & forth without fear of losing them.

Don't love it. Paid for the full version: I have mixed feelings about it. The email is ok, but not great, and I can't add or handle attachments well. Also, the iPad text functions like highlight, copy, paste, don't work in the email body unless you start to forward it and then discard the new email once you have copied the text or link you want. The browser stinks. I love the idea of having tabs for all my main apps, but this has me looking for another solution. At this point (2 weeks in), I would probably ask for a refund.

Versatile for heavy google users. Big improvement over using plain old safari to access your google resources. Makes apps chat usable in the iPhone - - sends a notification to he phone if g whizz is running in background and causes phone to vibrate and sound a tone depending on your preferences. Easy access to gmail, chat etc without having to keep track of safari windows. Seems to load faster than safari too. Underrated as a feed reader -- better than Reeder!

its got everything, but with problems. Well it really is convenient to have everything in one place, but if you really think about it. All this is the same thing safari gives you but a little bit quicker. I take that back, everything in this may be easier to "access" but everything in it runs so slow. Browsing pages is riddled with lag, when in safari is runs smooth as can be. Like i said everything you see is what safari will give you and safari will do it faster. The actual facebook app is better, iOS integrated twitter beats this hands down.

Little more than a wrapper around websites. "Notifications" is deceptive since it uses local notifications, which are only good for — at best — 10 minutes after the app exits. Yes you can use your Google Apps account but you CANNOT use both a Google Apps account and a Gmail account to check email. This is NOT an app for managing multiple Google App/Gmail addresses, it's an app for being able to fairly-quickly switch between several different Google services, Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace (realy? MySpace?). There is support for Facebook and MySpace (really? MySpace?) but none for Google Latitude. The app is basically a wrapper around the various mobile websites, with additional support for 'unread' badges and some additional services, like Instapaper. In the iOS App Store, $4 is a lot to ask for what this app does. Is it a rip-off? Absolutely not, as long as you know what the app does and doesn't do.

5 Stars Because. I was a little put off by some of the comments complaining that it was nothing more than a front end to otherwise individual Google apps but after using this for awhile they are correct as far as they go BUT, and this is a big but, this app makes using the individual apps very convenient. I really appreciate being able to get at my individual Google apps from a dashboard app like this one. Plus it gives me access to some Google apps I would not have otherwise. Great app.

This app is a rip off. I bought this app after having the free version bc the 'talk' portion of my free version stopped showing up, once I downloaded the $2.99 version, talk still wasn't working. I use talk for professional and personal reasons and need it back quickly. I would like talk back ASAP or my money back. Thank you. Oh and ps: I've tried contacting you all through email and to the website and every other means I know but every time it says the email doesn't exist or it funnels me to another website-all that says to me is that you don't give a crap about our feedback bc it is impossible to get it to you. I expected better from a company like this.

Doesn't work with Google Voice. Don't buy this if you want to use Google Voice. Attempts to call out using the Voice portion of this app receive Error 101 (googling "g-whizz and error 101 will confirm this widespread issue). No such error when using Google Voice app. This error has been reported on the G-Whizz forums many time and no fix so far. Other than that *major* issue, I like the app fairly well. The other tabs seem to work OK (though i only use gmail and talk) and having all your Google apps in one place is convenient. If they fix the Voice issue, I would likely raise them to 4 stars. Here's hoping.

Love it. Most negative reviews use it wrong. I use google apps for everything in my small business and this really brings it together on my iPad. Love how I can seamlessly switch from calendar to mail to docs, etc all in one app. Several negative reviews mentioned that you can't change what appears in the ribbon at the bottom. They are wrong. It CAN be changed in settings. I have all the google products I use down there. Can't even do that on a full computer interface! Great app that has multiplied my efficiency on iPad.

One Stop Shopping!. I am actually shocked by the number of options that this app offers. Normally I am in-and-out of an app depending on whether I've had my morning cup of Joe. The amount of time that I spend in this app has nothing to do with my mental clarity. I simply get lost in all in the options like a kid in a candy store. The UI is essentially a mobile browser so it isn't terribly creative but unfortunately it is slightly buggy as I've had a few crashes using it, hence minus one star. Though don't let that deter you from giving serious consideration to an "app" that puts it all under one roof.

All in one. This is a great Swiss army knife of social media and google apps. It might not have the same functionality as other apps, but it USA one stop shop and it is customizable. Note, for some web based apps like Facebook, if you want to go back a previous page or refresh your current page, you have to tap and hold the app icon for a few seconds to get those options. It was driving me a wall at forest until I figured it out.

Calendar doesn't work most of the time. I mainly use three tools in this app: Gmail, Tasks, & Calendar. Gmail and Tasks works great and the app itself lets you do so much more than a lot of the others. However, most of the time the Calendar takes a long time to load only to say "No Events" when I know there are events on the schedule for that day. I rely very heavily on my Gmail Calendar and can't afford to miss anything. It wasn't always this unreliable, but it has been recently and more often as time goes on. If it weren't for the problems with the Calendar, I would've given it 5 stars. But as it is, I'd prefer my money back!

Missing Needed features. I bought this specifically to work with google docs. I need to be able to search several transcripts interviews. Sadly this is the wrong tool. If you open a large, there is no way to search for text within the text file. A cmd-f sort of desktop search. So looking through a doc requires you to do it manually. Plus, there is no quick way to navigate a long document. Want to jump to the end. Prepare to zip your finger along the scroll bar repeatedly until you get there. Very unwieldy, and not useful at all for what I need. These are basic necessities, not advanced features.

Well organized. Very easy to use. Does what it should. I use the reader frequently and can see all my feeds together or individually in collapsed mode. Then I can expand each to read, and click to open it's own browser to read the source or watch the video or open the podcast. Very fluidly moves from one google function to another. Ease of use, integrity, and cohesion make it 5 star.

Great all-in-one social app. I've been using G-Whizz for several months now and have had NO issues. I love the app and have recommended to friends, who are living it. It's a great way to have all the social media at your fingertips without taking up real estate on the phone screen or memory. It's easy to use and has so many features that make social networking via mobile a breeze!

Like it. Like it alot, using it instead of iCal because I can add notes and invite others with ease, would like to know if there is a way to import contacts from my iPhone.... Also the colors are not as bold as I would like to really make certain events stand out but it works. Also I would like if "all day events would highlight the whole day with a highlight border for sake of view Year calendar needs work... Show the year but not events in a year All in all very thankful for the app. Looking forward to the improvements sure to come

Stick with the free version. This is basically the same as the free Google app, but everything is contained within the app without opening Safari. While this sounds like a good thing, it really isn't; it still has all the same quirks as the free version, plus some added quirks. Too many unnecessary windows and layers of nav make it un-user friendly, and what's this? In the mail app there's a persistent nav bar with a little icon that eats emails! I discovered this while trying to download some photos (which is not supported), and all of a sudden my email was nowhere to be found. If I had to do it all over again, I'd just stick with the free version and save my money till something better comes along.
