App Unstable. App is unstable. Will not stay open. Don’t waste your money.

Pretty disappointed with app quality. I was very excited to purchase this app and actually bought several of the companies applications at one time because a friend of mine showed me how awesome and useful they were on his IPad. The Iphone application, however, does not have the same 3D viewer options or 3D model options as the IPad version does!! The application is notably clunky and provides a poor user experience. I do not have an IPad, but I have a MacBook. I tried to download the app onto my computer hoping that it would have the viewer options, but the application for muscle locations isn't even in the MacBook app store.. The application is not unusable, but it is not enjoyable to use.. Please upgrade the locations option to a viewer and do some fine tuning! The application is not far off and contains good info, but right now the info provided does not flow together well for people who are visual learners. Overall, the app in it's current state is just sort of annoying to use.

So worth it. I love so many things about the app. I love that it groups muscles based on regions, actions, and in anatomical order. The muscles are listed based off proximity and location. The models really show where they are located and the details. It also gives special notes and things to keep in mind on certain muscles that have a lot to them. It also works when not connected to wifi!

Great app but needs one thing. The app is great, it needs the option to select the muscles that we're getting quizzed on though for the quizzes. Also, maybe we could input\select the muscles that we need to know so that even on the diagrams it only highlights those muscles. Also, there should be another quiz option, a spelling one. On my lab exams we have to know how to spell 100% or it's a 0. I'm sure other people have to spell it 100% or pretty close too, so maybe including that option would be magnificent. But other than that, awesome app :) thanks.

So much easier than recommended app I tried. I just started using this because the previous app I tried did not categorize the actions & was really difficult to follow and each time you would have to individually look up each muscle. This is 10 x better & makes for faster comprehension!!

Audio help. My audio isn’t working!

Keeps crashing. I used to enjoy this app until the last update.. it keeps crashing!!! Please fix

Great app!. What I really like about this app is the Quiz yourself tool. It offers different methods of quizzing yourself such as identifying the muscle and spelling it out, word banks, insertion, place of origin etc. the reason I give this app a 4star is because the app doesn't allow you to get quized on functions and name spelling simultaneously.. It Would also be nice if users could pick and choose which specific muscles to get quizzed on.. Other than that, i would highly recommend this app for an anatomy student

Wonderful tool!. I bought this app to help me with my anatomy class and it has been of great help. It is very detailed and you can take it w/ you everywhere to study on the go. They need to improve the quizzes though. The options r obviously wrong except for the right one. And they should add a quiz where the person IDs the muscle and has to write it down watching the spelling.

Great App! 1 annoying glitch. I need to review my muscles for a massage license exam and this program works well for this. Especially the quiz part. The annoying thing is that if you start a quiz, then exit the program and return again you'll find that there is an extra black bar at the top of the screen which pushes the image about a cm down. This cuts off a small portion of the image at the bottom and also cuts off part of the bottom button for the answer.

iPhone app audio doesn’t work. iPhone app audio doesn’t work for me. iPad works fine. The app is useful however without audio the value drop a bit. Like the quiz function. Suggestion to developer: The app doesn’t have a place to report bug or issue and I have to come here to report it :(

Okay but not great. As a grad student of phys therapy I got this app to review for a clinical and think it helps however the pictures are not very helpful at all most muscles do not even allow you to see both attachment sites as there is only one picture for each. Many muscles are isolated missing key reference muscles that would be used to find the muscle being viewed either clinically or academically. I'd say it's worth the few bucks but don't rely on this as your only study aide if you want to be able to visualize the muscles. The app would also benefit from pictures and descriptions of arteries and nerves such as the branches if the brachial plexus, distribution of peripheral nerves, myotomes, and derma tomes

Great, great app!!!!. This is the fist app I had purchased. It is absolutely worth every penny! It is very detailed, it verbalizes the name of the muscle, which I find very helpful. I honestly didn't expect too much but have been blown away with all the function, images and information. The only thing I wish I could do is eliminate the hands and feet from the quizzes, just because I am not focused on them and don't use them. I would recommend this app to anyone!!!! Great job!!!!

Very good. This app is very good for learning and reviewing human muscular anatomy. Just what I was looking for, at an inexpensive price as a back up to my textbook. The quiz feature helps to keep things interesting. No problem with it crashing.

I LOVE IT!!!. I absolutely love this app! Its so much more in depth than some of the others and i really enjoy all of the videos! There are upgrades that you can buy that give you a 3D model, you can click on which part of the body you would like to view muscles on, and one of my favorite things about this app is that it pronuciates the muscles for you! It also tells you functions and deffintions and allows you to write your own notes:) i am in love with this app!

Educational. As a trainer this app is super helpful to understand body mechanics, and to share with clients when they are experiencing muscle imbalances. Good stuff!

Cuts off!. This ap would be perfect but it’s been having some technical difficulties I had it fir months now and it’s cuts off, the sound sometimes isn’t working I deleted it and reinstalled it still having this issue

Very helpful. Best app ever!!!!!

Has potential, but disappointed. I purchased this app because i was excited for the quizzes but they keep crashing :(

Love it. I am a massage therapist. It is awesome to review Names, muscles and location.

Excellent app. I use this almost daily, it’s very thorough and I’m consistently getting better at knowing the muscles in the body. I’ve had a few issues pop up and just recently the videos wouldn’t play but instead rushing to give a bad review I wrote to body work and they fixed problem quite quickly. Very satisfied.

Very helpful and handy. I can study anywhere I go, this is great😀

Only basic information :o(. Definitely worth 2.99, but if you have even the most basic understanding of A&K, you already know all of this. I was hoping for something comprehensive and was disappointed. Having said that, I am sure thousands of hours have gone into is development, and I look forward to seeing if this product evolves.

Working now - thank you!. Version 6.5 seems to have fixed the bugs in Version 6. Much better. Thank you! This is a great reference and learning app! Thank you for fixing it!

Honest review. Using this app and AMTA anatomy app really help me with my muscles. I was able to pass the MBLEx thanks to this app!

Please please fix. I have latest ipad pro and I can’t see all the options in the quiz... only the first 2 (unless there are only 2 options and in that case the labels are mistaken)

It’s great so far. I’ve only been using this app for a couple of weeks and I really love it so far... it’s really helping me learn anatomy which has been a huge challenge for me but it has all the important things I need to know... simple to use and just the right amount of info that it’s overwhelming...

Disappointing. This app is very disappointing! It would be much more helpful if the adjoining muscles were also pictured and named, so we didn't see each muscle in isolation. The picture that sells you the app is misleading. I would like to see each muscle in relation to all the surrounding ones. I also wish this app had a 3D feature that let you spin the body to see where muscles attach in the front and back of the body (like the Human Skeleton app does). It would also be more helpful if it showed the layers of muscle, and named the surrounding ones, and showed us the insertions.

It’s helpful, but it still has some bugs. It’s helpful, but some bugs are there

What a waste of &. I had just the muscle app, which was free when I downloaded several years ago. It had been screwing up - showing the wrong graphic for the wrong muscle, not giving any information except for pronunciation; so I deleted it. When I reloaded it, I found it was part of a bundle that now costs $6. The description said that the bugs had been worked out; so like a fool, I bought it. Still has the same problems mentioned above. How do I get my money back for an app that doesn’t work?

Review. Simple and easy to use , this app allows for a better understand of movements.

Bug fix issues. Great job on the app! Although the latest bug fix on Feb. 13th 2020 messed up the quiz portion of the app. Now the bottom bar if you touch it to answer the question it does not work. Please fix otherwise love the app

Amaxing App. This app is phenomenal. I wish I had it going through massage school! It is so thorough and offers so many different ways to become familiar with the muscles. I suppose that when I was in school, it did help me to manually write out actions, etc., for each muscle, but I'm visual and kinesthetic. Having this in my pocket all the time would have been incredibly useful. I HIGHLY recommend this app. I'm 10 years into my career, but this is great for a refresher and fills in all gaps in my muscular knowledge.

Real Bodywork rocks my world!. Real Bodywork's products are always of the highest quality, and this Learn Muscles app is no exception. Beautifully-designed with excellent and thorough information, this app has already helped me greatly with my understanding of the body. And the videos included in the app are fantastic. This app is worth over 20 times its listing price. An unbelievable value at $2.99! The new update is great!

Very useful anatomy reference etc. I am a neuromuscular therapist in practice treating a wide array of people and conditions, I find this useful to show people exactly what we referring to and working with. I also have the trigger point app by real bodywork and will use the apps interchangeably. Detailed pictures and well designed navigation tools make this app well worth it even as a study guide for those new to muscular anatomy.

Excellent app period!. This is one of the most effective apps/tools I've ever purchased. It allowed me to understand by body and how it works with illustrations, movies and notes. Very easy to use and worth every cent. I've had a lower back pain and for the life of me could not explain to the doctor what was causing it until I got this app. Now I can explain with the proper language and with an image in my mind confidently to my doctor where my pain is coming from. Thanks.

Certified personal trainer, certified senior specialist. I have found very helpful in reviewing different muscles groups with clients.

Great App , it s useful for me! I find it helpful .. Helpful and easily to navigate !

Muscles made easy!. Thank you for the quizzes! Makes it fun to learn😊!

Ugh. The app crashes and zero sound !! I need the sound to hear the pronunciation of the muscles!!! Grrr

Crashes to much!!!. I would love to give it 5 stars because it’s information is wonderful and it’s a great help aid but now with the crashes it’s worthless!! Please fix!! And make it easier to report issues. Thank you.

Inaccurate info. App not working.

No audio. Good so far, just no audio for the pronunciations :(

Not comparable with iPadPro. Doesn’t work on my iPadPro

Wrong muscles shown when taping on specific muscle!. For instance, when you are in “Locations” and you select a muscle, it pulls up the completely wrong muscle! For instance, I clicked on “Leg”, “Rectus Femoris” and the muscle is actually the Sartorius! They are even labeled wrong! This app has been awesome since getting it years ago— something happened in the update and it’s now complete wrong!

Chiropractic student. I like the app a lot, especially the movement videos. Only one suggestion: the multiple choice options should be harder for the quiz questions. The answer shouldn't be so obvious. Maybe put a couple of muscles that are actually close to the muscle in question so you actually have to know which muscles are which in that area.

Fantastic App. So far the best app that I’ve found. Very easy to use Also Includes pronunciation and a good description of the muscle. Especially helpful if you’re new to learning anatomy.

Perfect for quick reference. I am a massage teacher and I use and recommend this Ap because it’s perfect when you want to check something quickly, whether it’s pronunciation, origin, insertion or actions. I have used it for years and I have never had a problem. Now it has more features, which is great, but even better is that it’s still a quick reference.

Excellent app. Loved it very educational

Nice app!. Helpful and easy to use. The 3D, rotational images make it easy to understand the function and origin of each muscle. As a personal trainer this app is great for review and reference. Thank you!

Muscles app. I love the graphics with this app - it makes it very easy to see where and how the muscle fits in perspective to the other muscles around it!

Great app. Great app- very useful... However in quiz when specifying the muscle you are asked it's very general- you can just tap in the general area of the muscle and not have to be precise, and get the answer right. Would be better if more specific. Otherwise great app

Stress reliever. Awesome for exam and general review, also helps to explain and describe muscles to other people who don't quite get it.

Informative. Really helpful while trying to learn the muscles bones organs etc of the body!

RealBodywork. One of the best apps for learning on I'm doing a course for Bowen Therapy and it has been such a big help, it has saved me carrying all my different books on anatomy ... Thank you

Incredibly helpful app. As a massage therapist I find the app useful for quizzing myself to retain my anatomy knowledge, and when my brain closes off momentarily I use this app to fill out my client files if I've forgotten the name of any muscles. Incredibly useful I LOVE this app!

Doesn't get much better. If you want to know muscles this app brings it on. Nice one!

Trouble with app. I’m having trouble with this app some of the muscles are back the front. I’m not sure if it’s a bug on my phone or the app is faulty.

Great app. Great app, doing anatomy and functional anatomy and already finding this app enlightening and I've only had it a day

Great app. Doing biomed and i've been waiting for ages for affordable anatomy app. Really great for studying on the go and quick referencing.

Love this app. The quiz maker is so helpful to learn the anatomy that is relevant to my current class. Could be without it.

App Review. This App was recommended off the AIF website, it's been such a help in studying Muscles, Muscle Movement for my course. Recommended for anyone who needs or wants to get into the Fitness Industry.

Great but.... I love this app for its images, assistance in pronunciation and test features but it's missing all the pelvic floor muscles which as a Pilates instruction student is key. I'd love an update with these muscles included then I'd happily rate it a 5.

Mr. What a super perfect awesome app. I'm studying fitness training now and this app fills the gap of what my coaches didn't tell us or presume what we have already known of. Love the videos and I want to watch more!!! And the pronunciation feature helps me heaps! Thanks for the efforts and look forward to seeing more apps from this guy. By the way what a bargain! Well done!

Anatomy app. This is the best app for students learning A&P, I've bought several and this is the most interactive, with lessons and various tests. It's great.

Suggestion. Good App but make it optional to have the quiz card flip away from the picture automatically, as well as displaying the muscle name when doing a non-naming quiz

Great!. This app is a great means of learning & refreshing details of muscles. A couple of minor inaccuracies but I'm sure these will be fixed in next version.

Worth it!. Finding this app really easy to use & helpful!! The only thing I would like to see change is the test questions. Once you have done the quiz a few times you know it! All in all great!

Great app!. Great app! I am studying to be a PT and it's so much better than my textbooks! Pronunciation helps heaps! More videos though, please (as they were the best part)!

Can't disable vibrate. Please add an option to disable this feature.

M. Excellent tool highly recommend for anyone struggling to get their head around functional anatomy.

Problem. When reviewing the body, I tap the swivel button and the screen goes black. I tap it again and it shows the posterior for a second before going black again. I've tried the following: deleting and reinstalling; redownloading and installing the fresh copy. But nothing has worked. Please help!!! Anyone else have this problem?

Kinesiology student. I wish I had this app sooner, so good for learning the muscle names and getting my head around movement terms

Awesome! Well done!. I stumbled across this app and it the best I've found so far! I have shared it with many others doing studies and they are also impressed. A great portable way to study or just to revise no matter where you are. A+++

Waste of time & money. Don’t waste your money! A refund would be nice worst app I have ever purchased!

Nice. For those stating inaccuracies of the iliacus and psoas - the app is correct. The psoas originates from T12 - L5 Vertebral bodies and discs, the iliacus from the iliac fossa. Both extend inferiorly, travelling under the inguinal ligament and OVER the pubic bone. As the iliopsoas they insert on the lesser trochanter of the femur. Only gave 4/5 because the app lacked specific vertebral and rib numbering for the erector spinae insertions/origins. Also did not indicate side of rotation (ipsilateral/contralateral) in respect to erector spinae muscles. Add these in and you have a perfect muscle anatomy app.

Great app but the test is to easy!!. Firstly Guys, great app a lot of information the models look great to! 2 things brought this down for me though. No 1. The test: multiple choice answers are to easy when you get questions like adductor brevis = extends the finger. Please make them specific to the area! No 2. Some of the muscles are hard to determine specifically which muscle your talking about most are highlighted but some aren't. Overall definitely worth getting but considering we pay quite a bit (by app standards) these problems should be fixed. Look forward to seeing an update!

Great app. Used this app when I was doing my massage course and now using it for my PT course. Great resource and useful for showing clients specific muscles

C. This app is an Absolute ripper many thanks. The quiz section is fantastic Have recommended to many

Trish The Trainer. Awesome app.. great for professionals and students..🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

…. Some misnamed muscles, some glitching. Very useful when working, I wish the body map was interactive

Audio. Audio doesn’t work at all and as others mentioned there is trouble to understand from and back

Convenience at it's best. This is a great app, very handy! Being a uni student and learning about anatomy this app is perfect to use on the train rides to keep learning about the muscle of the body.

Student. This app is going to be extremely useful for my University studies. Been playing around on it and find it a lot easier then learning from a text book! Great app :)

Amazing. Best anatomy app I have come across! Great quizzes and options and is even better on an iPad!

Convenient. So handy being able to access this information whenever I needed for quick and easy reference. Makes understanding movement easier also. Have reccommended to all my fitness trainer friends.

Invaluable learning tool. With excellent introductory videos and beautifully illustrated quizzes, this app is fantastic value for the budding or current medical or nursing student.

Outstanding anatomy app. Really helped during the semester and still useful afterwards. Highly recommended

Superhuman Personal training. I love this app, but it does lack detail and a few muscles are layed out incorrect such as the psoas major and a few others, otherwise and very good program to ise for demonstrations on my tablet for my clients :)

Great. Great for learning the human body. In the future I hope they will make the app bigger with more information.

Muscles. Finding it exceptional in many ways, it is easy to use & very helpful to show clients when advising on injury management before & after treatment. Thanks for creating this fantastic app.

Wow, about time. Great app gem here, all the others are time wasters. Very user friendly, covers the groups a PT student needs to cover and a great way to learn and test your knowledge without having to buy or carry text books. I give it four stars.

Terrible. Blurred pictures, no sound and is constantly zoomed into the image ( will not allow you to zoom out ). Purchased for uni, to help with anatomy, $4.49, that I probably do not have and won’t get back 👎

Great App!. The quizz part is great, I would like more videos explaining where the muscles originate and insert. The really tips like the GOGO mnemonic was really handy. Those sort of things are invaluable. I'm studying TCM and found this app a useful guide for my anatomy exams!

Great app!. Fantastic learning tool for personal training/cert 4 massage students! Very helpful with helping you memorise muscle names & anatomy

Great App. I've downloaded a few apps / this one has been the best by far. I'm a personal trainer - very handy! :)

Best Anatomy for Students. I love this app. I am studying Physiotherapy at University and this app has helped me immensely. I've tried many other similar apps, but this app beats them all. Please continue developing the software and adding additional features. I'd love the ability to do some of the quizzes in reverse (e.g. Be told the origin and insertion points and have to select from a range of muscles)

Worth the buy.. Great app, easy to use. Does lack some detail if you do want in-depth knowledge. Compared to other muscle related apps, it ranks high.

The Best. I have several different apps for my anatomy & physiology degree, but this one is by far the best. It covers everything for me 😍

Quite useful app. The origin and insertion of Splenius cervicis should be spinous processes of T3-T6 and transverse processes of C1-C3 respectively.

Educating. I've learn so much about how they connect, it has help me out when I hit the gym...;-)

Ok apps. Generally good apps. Some mistakes in origin and insertion of muscles eg. splenius capitus and cervicis . Another mistakes in innervation of muscles eg. longissimus.

Gr8. Nice little app for health care students

Simply amazing!. Great app for therapist. Presentation is top-notch as in other Real Bodywork apps. Great deal for 3$.

Poor quality and very basic quiz questions. I guess I got what I payed. The image quality isn't great and the quiz questions are way too easy. I can guess the right answers most of the time. I even tried the .99c 3D upgrade. For anatomy students, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Study saver. Fantastic app got me through anatomy course.

Best way to study. This app is amazing. I used it to study for my grade 12 exercise science anatomy exam and got the highest mark in the class. Fun and effective. I would highly recommend it.

Great. Good to view and understand the parts of the body.

Me. Hmm it is very good

Not bad. Half decent if you are already familiar with anatomy. I would not recommend as a sole learning tool. Some of the naming is inconsistent as well as the detail about origins and insertions. The customizable quizzes are a useful feature.

Great learning tool. This is a great tool to do some quick studying if you are on the bus or have a few minutes to spare, the quizzes are not hard but I find it good practice. Worth the $3

Review of app. I enjoy using this app for my business.

Rmt. Your muscles app is awesome. I'm having to challenge an exam with no prep material available. And I don't think I'd have the cofidence with out it

Wonderful app!!. As RMT student, it's really good reference app for on the go!!

Great BUT... As a radiology student, majoring in ultrasond.. It is helpfull to know the names of the muscles but it do not show 3D images.. So in my case i cannot know whats posterior or anterior to wich muscle.... But good for only learning the name of the muscles.. Disapointing for me.

Super easy to navigate. Been very helpful in my educational pursuits in the fitness industry.

Great Reference. The app is exactly what it says it is and it's put together well. Easy to navigate and the graphics are great. More 3D models would be great though! Not sure the extra $.99 is worth it for the 3D models.

Audio Pronunciation Doesn’t Work. The app is great, lots of detail and the quizzes are exactly what I was looking for. But the audio pronunciation doesn’t work, so that’s disappointing because it’s one of the reasons I purchased it.

Muscles is great for students!. Muscles is a great tool for learning anatomy. A must for any student! Comment section at bottom allows for additional notes and is very useful.

Awwwwsome!!. Love it

Worth it. Could definitely have some improvements to the overall app like making the quizzes more difficult or showing nerve and blood supply. Would also be cool to see an action for every muscle via video. Still worth the money and much more convenient than opening a textbook.

Great app. Good study guides. Easy to see and use

Good reference tool. Good, easy to use app. Like the quiz feature, good refresher.

Muscles quiz. Really helpfull... I just wish the quiz could be harder

Great educational tool. As a kinesiology student this app has proved valuable as a reference tool for my studying. The quizzes are pretty basic, but still a great way to keep my anatomy knowledge fresh. Overall a very good app!

Not the best app for human anatomy structures. This app looks decent but doesn't seem to have all muscles and the 3D version lacks a lot of the muscles. I would have rather saved my money and got a more advanced anatomy app - like Essentials Anatomy.

Very educational. Best for students and practitioners on the go for a quick reference! Thanks.

Using as a refresher, very good!. Very good

Great app!!. Great to learn the muscles names in English, I'm brazillian, I was looking for it! Very educational.

Good portable reference. I use it often as a reference when I compose the training programs for my clients. Is a practical and complete-enough reference application.

Love this app!. This app is a great studying tool!

Rmt. Great for review

Great. Great for a personal trainer

Great App!. Wonderful for massage therapy students. Actions of each muscle are very helpful. Wish I found this months ago!

Great Refresher and Reference. As a massage practitioner, this has been a great reference tool. I appreciate the quizzes, which provide a great refresher for anytime I have a few spare moments.

Great App!. Awesome app, super helpful for studying purposes. I'm in an human anatomy and physiology course and it's great for muscular memorization.

Rmt. As a professional its great as a quick review of muscles. It would have been great for me as a massage therapy student.

Excellent. Easy to use

Very helpful👍. 💃

Great tool. App works great!!! Good detail, easy to use!!

Relevant for trainers. Great tool to help familiarize self and client with muscular anatomy.

Awesome App!. Thanks so much . Learning muscles has never been so easy or fun. Cheers!

Très bien...mais.... Très bien fait, mais est ce possible de l'avoir en FRANÇAIS ?

Great study aid. Excellent for yoga students and teachers for quick reference. Great graphics.

Corrections needed. Bought this app to aid me with studying.external intercostal origin and insertion are wrong.(mixed up).kind of makes me wonder if there are more errors...could be a great tool ...

Muscles of human body. Excellent very educational

Great for kinesiology students. I'm a kine major and I just wish I had this study tool while I was taking my anatomy course! Very helpful for students or anyone who has interest in human anatomy! Highly recommended!

Best anatomy app ever. This is the most user friendly, anatomically correct and visually correct app I’ve found out there. I love the animation and option for notes on each mms as well as the apps ability to provide the approapriate pronunciations. Smart

Useful study tool. Doing an in depth anatomy course (compared to my previous studies) and it is a great tool to study on the fly with. The images are clean and easy to see and understand, the quizzes work great for rapid review, and having all of the origins, insertion, innervation, and action notes is wonderful. Thanks.

Awesome. Great app highly Recommend it

Very worth the cost!. I have been using this app to prepare for my CPT certification from the ACSM and it has been invaluable. Standard diagrams of muscle location are often too crowded to adequately demonstrate the muscle's full location. This app breaks anatomy down muscle by muscle to give you a much better sense of the function and placement.

Good for SPTA's. Currently going to school to become a PTA. This program gives you the info that will be needed in the programs and beyond to get a head start and make your career easier. The only improvement I could see is if they bolded more important muscles or if the put pinpoint dots on the locations of origins and insertions.

Awesome awesome. Great! Awesome app! I am a Zumba instructor! I had to take the AFAA test! This helped me so much! It's also very helpful during classes if any questions arise and I need to check out certain area's of the body that I am not sure about! I got the other app's but this one is by far the best!!!

Great alternative study tool!!. I'm in school to be a massage therapist & this is what I've been looking for as a study guide. We always have our phone & it's a lot easy to pick up the phone to study than a book!! More interaction for those who have different learning styles.

Delighted. I was very pleased with this app. The graphics are excellent and the interface is very easy to use and navigate through. The quiz options and video are a great bonus feature. I am really satisfied (especially for the price) and look forward to trying out the other systems' software. Nice Work!

Muscles. Good app, accurate illustrations and information, the quizzes could be a little harder though, if you know basic anatomy then the choice is easy, 3 of the 4 choices have no relation to the origin or insertion of the muscle that you are being quizzed on, if corrected I would highly recommend this application, maybe even adjustable difficulty level for those more advanced

Love this app!. At first I was a bit skeptical about buying a muscle app on my phone, but I'm so happy I gave in! Easy to use and understand, great for on the go or as a resource for study. It's so nice to be able to pull this app up as a massage therapist and show my clients what it is that's causing their pain.

Review of Muscles App. As a massage therapist & instructor I'm always looking for an app that will display the muscles in an easy, informative, educational, and fun manner. This app does it all. The video and animation sequences are awesome! This is a must app for all therapists who want to learn and stay up with the muscles.

Nice basic app with great info. I love that this app is simple and easy to understand. I teach HS sports medicine and recommended this to my students. It covers all the basic info they need without going over their heads. I also LOVE the audio pronunciation of the mucles and the videos. A "must have" for basic anatomy students.

Grate app. This app is to good. It has to many muscles. I am taking anatomy and physiology and I only need to know 75% of what you have on here. If there was a way to star the muscles I need to know and put them in a group or folder would increase the apps usefulness. Thank you and hope to see this later

Small mislabel but super helpful!. I really like it and it's helping a lot but on the overview it says brachials when it points to the brachiradialis (sorry butchered spelling! Still learning obviously). I only noticed because brachials was labeled twice. And it would be a really nice if you could have more overviews possible detailed ones for each section! It would be a 5/5 if not for the labeling error!

Great study tool. I downloaded this app after it was recommended. I wanted to make sure I had something portable to study with at any break in my day. This app and the quizzes were extremely helpful. I've already recommended it to my classmates.

Great App!!!!. I love this app and the skeletal one as well. I have been in the fitness industry for more than 20 yrs. I have owned gyms and trained many clients. My specialty was rehab and this program. In the past, I would have to buy books in the hundreds of dollars to show anatomy clearly to clients. This app does it better and for just a few bucks. Great app!!!

Buy this now!. If you are a student of the body - and who isn't, since we all have one - than this app is for you! Clear, concise and simple to use. If you are just learning muscle anatomy, need a handy refetence or just want to figure out which one is hurting, this app is more than worth its cost.

Love this app so helpful. I just got certified as a personal trainer but really want to have more knowledge of all the muscles and their functions. This app is so rad to use and navigate you can go swipe through and it shows each muscle and the one next to it plus if you click again it tells you the function etc. love this app so much

Awsome app. This one of the best learning tools that I have found. It has helped me study when I am on the go and have not been able to bring other study material with me. Thank you for having this app.

Great ap!. Great ap. As a massage therapist I find great use of both this and their Trigger Point ap as well. Between the two I find they give to the point information for my profession with full 3D models that are great to show clients to help them understand the structures an issues they may be having.

Awesome. I loved the way this app allowed me to learn how to pronounce the terms. I was way off base with a lot of the muscles name. The only thing I question is a few of the origins were different than the text book we used in class. However, it would not surprise me if our text was incorrect because there has been several errors in our text.

Awesome!!. Fantastic app at a great price! Very comprehensive. The only thing I don't like is I feel like the answers are too obvious.... On the movement quiz, showing a picture of the masseter and then providing one answer that has to do with movement in the head is a little too easy ;-)

Very helpful. This has been much better than looking at a diagram in a book. I have been struggling with some of the deeper muscles and the videos have helped me to get a better visual on where they are. Lots of great stuff that have added to helping me learn.

So much easier than an atlas. This app has helped me tremendously. Being able to visualize the muscles along with quickly locating a muscle without flipping through several pgs of an atlas has made studying so efficient. Also I'm able to remember the actions of the muscles - for ex. watching plantar flexion& all the assoc muscles with that movement enhanced my memory. The quizzes are also very useful!

Very nice app!!. I am a ACSM certified Fitness Specialist with a BS degree in Fitness Mgt. and this is one of the best tools that I use on a daily basis. I can show the clients I work with the muscles they are working and how it pertains to getting the most out of their workouts. For the small fee for this app, it is worth every penny!!

Love it...But....... I just wish there was a way I could choose exactly the muscles that I need to know for my test to be quizzed on instead of being flashed ones that I don't need to know, then I'm wondering in my head is this one I should know or not- it's just annoying to have to deal with that while I'm studying

A must have!!. This App does a great job at explaining the actions of muscles. Which is a plus when trying to remember or re- remember bunches of muscles in a short time. The quiz feature is a nice touch as well. This app is great for the seasoned pro or the beginning novice trying to learn their anatomy. Definitely a must have!!

Great app. I love this app, it is the best app I have used for studying anatomy. Easy to use and has everything needed to succeed in anatomy class. If you are taking anatomy class you may want to try this app. It's works for me and am sure it will work for you.

Helpful for quick reference. For several of the muscles (TrA) the "comments" description is longer then the box allows room for and you are unable to view the entire comment info about the muscle. Also, quizzes are not challenging at all but other then that a pretty thorough and useful app for a quick review.

Great App. I really like the app. Gives a great overview. I do wish there was a search feature though if you are looking for a specific muscle. However, if you just take a little time you can find most of what you are looking for as a massage therapist.

Well displayed. Many of the anatomy muscular system apps have been a fail, but this is very helpful. If you're taking anatomy this is a great supplement to learning and even after to keep the muscular system fresh in your brain. It's worth the money

Pretty good app for med school anatomy but.... I think there are a couple mistakes (some are just spelling mistakes). One I like to point out is that the serratus posterior inferior is attached to T11-L2 not T11-L3. If some of the mistakes can be weeded out this program is great to solely rely on for studying on-the-go. Also just a suggestion, it would be awesome if in the comments section one can add/write his or her own comments. Love the pronunciation feature!

Awesome app.. My least favorite thing about this app is that it has to use wifi to download! Other than that and the fact that it doesn't have a section where you can place the name of the muscle where it belongs rather than multiple choice. It is easier for me personally to learn that way. But overall an awesome app!

Awesome app for muscles!. I just started Intro to Anatomy and Physiology and this app is such a big help! You can look at muscles by region and within that they are listed by location. I love the quiz, as I'm in Intro A&P I don't need to know that many muscles, so I can pick what muscles the app will quiz me on! I wish they had that feature on their bones app. Highly recommend this, well worth the $3!

Great app, some technical problems. I really liked this app, some primary actions differ than what I'm learning in class. Great pictures and layout. More and more now though, I'll click on a muscle and go back to main menu, and return shortly to that muscle, the screen won't load. So I have to exit the app and open it back up to view that muscles info/ image.

Flower bee. I just had my anatomy class, then I discovered this app, I thought it would keep me refresh what I learned, Since there are so much to memorize in anatomy class, and it's easy to forget what you already learned. This app is handy and pretty detailed on muscle. I like it:)

Excellent!. Worth three times what I paid. This is the best muscle function utility I've ever seen. Even better than anything on the Internet. Totally interactive with excellent 3D diagrams and detailed function, descriptions and pronunciations of every major muscle. 5 stars!

Great for visual learners!. Pics detailed and rich in color. Videos great. Consistent information from feature to feature makes learning muscles easier than just looking at a diagram in a book. App structured well, easy to navigate. Recommend for all ages.

Helped a lot. This is a great app it's has a lot of great stuff I'm studying to become a personal fitness trainer and this helps out a lot with study learning muscle movement ware they start and end I like that it says the muscle so that I can hear how it's said and work on that has well has place were the muscle is in the body

Awesome app. I've used this app to help me isolate the problem with my lower back. Which muscles ate over working and which ones that need to be strengthened. Which is more than the PAs, doctor and therapist have done for for me! It has has also showed me what part of the lumbar spine that I'm being told is showing degeneration. So much for so-called professionals!

Great if You're Just learning the muscles. The app is useful for people who are just learning about the human anatomy. However, it still lacks a decent amount of muscles in the human body. Maybe if In-App purchases were offered, people could purchase more muscles. Also, not all of the muscles match up with the correct picture, or for that matter, the correct information. For example, the peroneus brevis brings you to a picture of the masseter with the masseter's information on the reverse side. There are a few bugs that need to be worked out, and until more muscles are added, it remains at 3 stars.

Very helpful. Excellent tool, very helpful for class, and working out. The videos are pretty helpful. The pics are great. Some can be a little confusing but being able to flick back and forth between adjacent muscles really helps put the whole picture together. For the price of the app it's a pretty good buy. You won't be dissatisfied.

Great App!. This is a very useful app. Easy to navigate, attractive and full of good info. The only thing to make this better is to add more content. That is not a complaint, just wishful thinking. If you need quick access to muscle anatomy then you should buy this app!

Great study guide!. I love this app! I've been using this in my kinesiology class at school and it's perfect. We work a lot on movement analysis and this has been an invaluable asset. I'm giving a presentation soon, and once connected to the projector, I'll be able to share it with my classmates. I really wish the Nova apps had the movements like this does!

Great value!. This app not only has all the info you need, you can choose what you want to focus on. Our professor gave us a target list to learn. I went and made them favorites and I can quiz myself endlessly. Maybe in the next update, instead of only multi choice, you can choose a quiz that has you type in your answer since that is how our lab tests are done. Thanks!

Great. I teach a grad level gross anatomy course & I encouraged my students to get this app. It is easy to use, has majority of pertinent info: general origin, insertion, innerv, blood supply, action plus a great picture of the muscle. Only draw back is not all muscles are included & info is sometime too general. It is a great "pocket" guide though!

Good app. I find this app very helpful for quick reference. I am a massage therapist and I occasionally pull it out for people to help them get a generalized feel of their bodies, how the body works and where they feel tension. Most people appreciate that info so thumbs up for this app.

Awesome. This is a wonderful tool for studying\learning the key muscles in the body; in particular, those used during the practice of Yoga. It would have been even more helpful if the audio INFO also provided more information such as location and action of the muscle. I am so thankful that I found this study tool!

There is a major problem with the videos. The app is good for the muscles but once you try to see about the fascia and the nerves nothing loads. If there is going to be a selection options for them then they should at least have something playing. Everything else is great but please fix the problem!!!!

Suggested Improvements. This is a really great concept. However, there are many improvements to be made: 1, you should be able to pick the muscles to be tested on; instead of having to go through all, just to make sure you are being tested on the ones you need to know. 2, not all the muscles I need to know (for a&p 1) are on here. 3, there should be a way to just look at the muscles and have it tell you action, origin, insertion, abductor, prime mover....etc.

Great app!. Very useful for my AP class. The only change I would make would to be able to design your own quizzes. There are a lot of muscles that I don't need to know and it would be great if you could exclude those from the quizzes.

Huge help. This app had 95% of muscles we covered in a 200 level A&P course. The audio pronunciation feature was very helpful as well as functioning as an auditory learning/memorization tool. The moving images helped a lot too for visuospatial reference.
