Wonderful. This is by far the best looking and most interactive book available. Well worth the money. Will last for many years as the kids get older. Please tell publisher to create more books!

Great App. I really enjoyed watching my son interact with this app. There are hidden interactions on every page but his favorite was the baby chick, which was the first thing he looked for on every page. The graphics are top quality, a la Disney. The only improvement I would suggest is to allow the sounds to be stopped. In my son’s pursuit to find the chick he would initiate a sound after touching a character, for example, and the dialog or song plays until something else is touched that has audio. It would be nice to be able to stop the audio. Overall this is an excellent application to enjoy with your children, well worth the money.

Even fun for a 52 year old!. After watching the instruction video on how to make my apps have sound, this was really a wonderful app. I think children will enjoy this story and the interactive games and activities, well worth the 99 cents. Look forward to more apps by this company.

Great storybook. I bought this for my 3 year old and she absolutely loves it! Every page is interactive and has hidden things to find along with some puzzles. You can't get this on a Kindle!

LOL fun times with kids. My six year old son and four year old daughter love this book, especially for the hidden touch items on each page. Many of these hidden items are very funny! Great work Ayars, I hope to see more books soon!

New Part of our Bedtime Ritual. We always read stories before my daughter's bedtime. This has become a new favorite for my 3 year old daughter and for me. I love what is happening in the world of interactive books and this is a shining example of success. Great job!

So good. This is iTunes genius at its finest. A small team able to succeed by making an amazing product. This storybook is the first of its kind. An interactive story that can be enjoyed either as a game, or as a bedtime story. The animations are great, and the voice acting is even better. I need MORE stories from this company, and recommend this as highly as I can. Finding the easter eggs was the icing on the cake to get through an otherwise well-known story as a parent. Great job.

So fun!. This is really one of the best children's book apps - trust me, I have a lot of them! My kids are 2 and 5 and are endlessly entertained by this very interactive, whimsical story book. There are loads of little ways to interact with the story, and there's a funny dancing chick to find on each page.

Very fun game for the kids and adults. I have a 8 yr old 6yr old and a 3yr old and they all loved it. They loved the matching game with the mice and finding the easter eggs throught the book. there is so much for kids to do in this book and we personally liked it better than the ones Disney did. The artwork is very well done and looks quality. Very well done app.

A Parent's Dream!. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app! More importantly, my 4 year old loves this app! Truly, I think this is one of the BEST children's books apps in the store now. And trust me, I've bought at least 40-50 of them. Not only is the story great, every page is filled with great interactivity for my daughter to find and explore. They have one other app, "Cosmo's Day off" which is really good as well. However, if you were only going to get one, this one feels much more flushed out and the story/game play is longer (at least it feels that way.) Can't recommend this App enough!

I want more!. I have a first grade son that is developing his reading skill, so I bought 5 different books to read on my iPad. This one is his favorite. We enlarge the text so he can read it first, then we play with the page. We both love to discover the different graphics. I would like even more to each page but am not complaining. I now am back to buy a few more books and was hoping for more from this developer. Worth the money!

Best Children's Book right now.. My 3 year old absolutely loves this book. I have downloaded many others, some much more expensive, and this is the one he wants every night at bed time. Cannot wait for Ayars Animation's next book they tease at the end of this one.

Great book app. We've had this book for almost a year & my toddler continues to play with/read it. It is very interactive and lots of fun! You can have the book read to you or choose your favorite page to read/play with. Great menu.

I want more like this!. My two year old loves this app. The layout is perfect and she can navigate the entire program without help. Much better than the Disney books layout. Make more books like this! The Easter eggs do get annoying after a while as I think my daughter already knows where all of them are.

Worth every penny. i can't say enough good things about this app. My kids (4 1/2 and 3) have probably spent 4 hours plus going through it on multiple occasions, and they still find hidden things throughout the book. There are a lot of apps where you feel like you've seen it all after one or two times. This isn't one of them. Can't wait until they come out with another one.

Jack and the beanstalk. 2015, there is no sound on this app, after several years of fun for kids. They love it, and I loved their reaction to all the pluses, bubble blowing, water flowing, finger painting, I knew of only 1 game, matching, but it was great. Don't know how to make it great again, can you help with the sound problem? There is no, nothing!

Love it!. If I check the task manager after my 4 year old daughter or 7 year old son have used my iPhone or iPad, I am assured that I will find this app in the list of applications running because they both love it!

This company is setting a standard that others will find hard to achieve!. First, the art looks sensational, and the audio (music, narrator, character voices) is excellent, and there are all kinds of li'l surprises here and there, e.g. one page has to be colored in by tracing your finger around on it, other pages contain brief sung ditties by characters. A cool thing is that the text, which can be read by the parent to the child or can be played back, *highlights the entire chunk of language* as it's being read. So as kids grow, they read the chunks as tonal units (where inflection breaks). An added extra is that the narrator keeps his distinct voice. He tells the story and reports the characters' speech; if you want to hear the character say it directly, you can simply press on the character to hear it in his/her own voice. A very sophisticated and well-thought-out app. I will by more if they're like this, but I won't pay more than this price.

All other are simple copies so far. All the other a touch screen books are just bad rip off of this high quality app. It's no wonder it continues to make money. The is a great book. The cream always rises. Good work Ayers. I love this book. It's the standard.

Awesome book!!!!. My boys, who are 4 & 5, love this book. There are songs, games, things to find and character voices to hear. Each page is an adventure. We have purchased several " interactive" books and this is the best one so far. Appeals to a wide age range and the price is great too.

Perfect, and makes my day. My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves this app. She likes finding he chick, and other hidden things. She giggles so hard that sometimes I think she is gong to split her side, and it makes my day to see her enjoy herself so much. What a great concept brought to life. My daughters ask for this book every night! They especially love the hidden dancing chick, they do their own crazy dance every time they find it! Wonderful animation keeps the story fresh and engaging! For the father of triplets nothing is better than finding something all three of them like and pay attention to!

The best children's book for iPad there is!. Amazing app! I would give it 6 stars if I could. The graphics are the best I have seen when it comes to books. My two sons (4 and 2) ADORE this book! Absolutely Terrific!!. I bought this app for my 3 year old grandson. He loves to use my iPad and I had downloaded several games and books for him. This app is by far the best interactive storybook around! The animation is beautiful, the games/activities are varied and fun, and of course the story is beautifully written. Such a nice way to spend time with my grandson. This is by far our favorite kids app! Please, please bring us more animated books!!

The best app,,,. This app is one of the best ever. My 2 yr. Old son loved it and enjoyed every page of the story. There are music, games and so much more to do than just reading. This is a must have app for all the parents out there who likes to entertain their kids. We loved it!!!

2 Year old loves it!. We absolutely love this app! My 2.5 year old boy wants to read it before nap and bed everyday. He LOVES the memory game and the dancing eggs. And we haven't found all the eggs yet. I also thought the price was great. Some other books for $9 are just to pricy. We didn't really read this on the iPhone - but I got the iPad and just love it!

Best Ipad Book We've Found. I have about 30 children's books on my ipad and this is my 5 year old daughter's favorite. Each page has lots of different interactive elements. For example, on the first screen shot above, the three mice characters can be dragged into their shape and they will sing a song. Each touch of the drain pipe produces bubbles that flow out and "pop" when pressed. Each page has lots of elements - there is even a matching game on one of the pages where it looks like a man's hand holding three beans. The number of interactive elements are huge and this is the book that my daughter always goes to, even after about 4-5 months. She also loved it when she was 4. Another reviewer stated that she had expected more then animal noises, but there are much more than the animal noises, golden eggs play music, chicks sing, characters talk when touched and there are at least two long-ish games within elements that we have found. Amazing app - I came back to find it they have any others.

annoying hidden egg. Great app as my 3 year old loves it. My only complaint (as well as my daughters) would be to either lose the hidden egg on each page or at least do away with the annoying song that it plays over and over again. Also the music the hidden egg plays seems to be louder then the rest of the book. My daughter covers her ears every time it plays. Other than that it really is excellent!

Love this book!!. My son is 2 and we absolutely love this book! I really hope this developer makes more like this one. Not only is it a beautiful book, the music is soothing, the voice actor is great and there are so many interactive elements it keeps it fun. We laugh at the golden egg music and dance. And all this for only .99 cents 🤯 other, less interactive books are selling for $4 or $5, some more. Buy it now, you won’t regret it.

Outstanding app. I love the work put into thus app to bring so much artwork, animation, and sound effects together. My granddaughter lives this book the most and the hidden treats. A must for anyone with small children.

Full of fun and surprises!. This is one of the best done children's books I have purchased. The story telling is wonderful with line by line read along. On top of that animated surprises are hidden on each page. My granddaughter has named this her favorite book ever.

They love the interactive features, they love the little surprises on each page, they love the games too! The animation is so well executed and so realistic that my 2 year old actually cries every time it gets to the part where mom got mad at Jack...worth every penny! One of the VERY BEST apps for Kids. My 3 year old LOVES this application. I feel like I got so much more for the money than I usually do with apps . The illustrations are good, the story is great (I like how the changed the plot a bit to make it seem like Jack was reclaiming the stuff instead of just stealing), and there are all kinds of little interactive features hiding on the pages. My son absolutely goes mad for the easter eggs . . . . whenever he finds one of the gold eggs (they hatch little chickens which proceed to play a kind of polka and dance), he giggles like crazy.

Jack is the Best!. I can't believe all of the interactive activities on every page. This one was the first book I downloaded to my new IPAD and now all other books have been a disappointment. If anyone knows another book that has this many puzzles, games and hidden surprises, I would love to know about it.

Awesome app. My 4 year old loved it when we got it as our first app, thinking all books were like this. She still loves it and even I love it. It is nice that there are many things in the pages that are interactive. She loves finding those golden eggs too. I must admit when I first saw them I thought that was weird and it doesn't belong, but watching her dance to the music is priceless. This one is a keeper. Wish more were like this.

This is great!!!. This is one of the first book apps that i have bought and it is great! I never expected it to keep my autistic sons attention but it does and even though he constantly taps the screen it will keep reading the story so i dont have to keep restarting the story and i can let him take control. i only wish i could put it on autoplay and it would still let him tap on the interactive things on the page but this is a totally great app.

Finally--An excellent ipad App that nailed the price point!!!. This book is excellent--my 3 year old is addicted. Great story! Great Interactive Graphics! Very Engaging! For this price point-everyone should buy this and support those that are offering outstanding apps at reasonable prices.

Fantastic for Little Ones. I have used this book with my 3 yr old & 1 year old grand. There are so many interesting things for the kids to do on different levels. By far this is the best interactive book I have used. 5 stars plus!

Thumbs up from my two year-old. Of all the books I have downloaded this is the best and the one my son gravitates to again and again. Interactivity is awesome, navigation intuitive, and the hidden games the icing on the cake. Well worth it.

Jack and the Beanstalk is worth every bit of praise!. I have read lots of rave reviews about Jack and the Beanstalk. I too feel that the artistry, sound effects, and voiceovers are terrific. The storyline follows the traditional Jack and the Beanstalk story, while adding some very creative elements. The song in the middle is very cute. Kids love exploring the screens, finding the dancing chickens, and reading along. Educational and entertaining at the same time. Great job Ayars Animation team! Thank you for enriching our lives.

A big hit. I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old, and they both connect with this app at different levels. The older one patiently reads the story along with the narration, while the younger one delights in the many fun features. Either way, it's a bit hit with our family!

Tons of fun!. Just got done running this gem of an app with my 2 boys 3 and 6 and they absolutely loved it! There is so much to interact with on each page that they could hardly contain themselves throughout the story. Loved it so much that we are looking for more interactive story books to buy. Great fun!

Superb App with One Major Downside.... We've bought several iPad "books" so far for our boys (ages 3 and 8) to explore. It is fascinating to watch our 3 year old effortlessly interface with Jack in the Beanstalk. It's very well done and very intuitive. This app is really miles ahead of the other children's offerings available for the iPad during the first few weeks after launch. The upside is that our little one is so interested in the story, the games and the iPad itself. All good as far as his learning and growth. The downside is that he is 3 and he does not know how to share yet, so the iPad is now his, and we have to sneak it away from him to use it.

Awesome. One of the most entertaining books I have come across for children. My two yr old and four yr old thoroughly enjoyed it. They loved the story and all it's hidden features. One word of advice: it's almost too much fun to read for a bedtime story! We are looking forward to more stories in the future!

I almost did not buy it…. I almost did not buy this book because of the complaints regarding the sound. Well, I took a chance and I also had problem with the sound. However, if you click on the links for the website they show you how to troubleshoot your issue. Lo and behold, sound! Even I had fun trying to figure out the “secrets” on the pages. My granddaughter is going to love this!

WOW!. I have to say that when I bought this app I was desperate to get a new story book for my son as I was tired of all the old stories and had no idea this is so interactive. I love this book and most importantly my 4 year old son loves it. He likes touching the animals and listening to their sounds, finding all of the hidden eggs, playing the games and singing along with the characters. I was pleasantly surprised with the content of this e-book and highly recommend it.

Kids just love this. My 6 and 9 yr old love this book. They bring it up over and over again. The elegance of the images combined with the games make it something that they just really enjoy. The part of the book they seem to come back to over and over again is the part where you drag three three mice from the scene onto a 'template' and when you succeed the mice start to make music and dance.

It's great but we need more like this. This is a very nice app. With a little effort, these apps could rival LeapPad products. This app was certainly more engaging than LeapPad storybooks and much more interactive. But you need to come out with more. Consider various levels of "I can read" books and make them interactive the way you do with Jack & The Beanstalk.

great fun for kids. my 2 kids (4 and 2) both love listening and playing along with this book. Hope the creator makes a few more of these.

Not worth the money. Not lot activity inside! Disappointed,my daughter only play a week then lost interest!when she just turn to 4 years old!

Fantastic. Our 3yo with the attention span of a flea was absolutely enthralled with this application all evening and had to be dragged away from it at bedtime. He was so pleased it was something he could do without assistance. Very, very highly recommended. Worth every cent. Note to developers ... This is what an interactive book should be like.

Fantastic kids app. My 4 year old grandson and I look forward to sharing this every time I go to visit we both love it and anything that can keep a 4year old amused for more than half an hour is a winner with me.

Jack and the Beanstalk. This well illustrated version of the traditional story offers lots of inter activity for 3yo+ and their parents! The narrative is well spoken and accent free, and the story and it's various add ons maintains interest at a high level. It's quite a long story, and some of the inter active stuff is reasonably sophisticated- better suited to 3+ years I would think.

Disappointing. I bought this story because my kids absolutely adore Cozmo's Day Off (an interactive book made by the same company). I am so disappointed by the low level of interactivity in this story. It's definitely NOT worth the money!

Great entertainment for the kids!. This is a great app and my kids absolutely love it. Full of a few surprises too. I have to admit I wasn't too impressed at the start as I did not think there was that much animation and it was just a read along book. However the kids have discovered many more features on the pages and are totally wrapped in it. Nice work guys keep em coming. It is a touch on the pricey side perhaps.

Beanstalk. This book is very well done. My 5 and 8 year old girls love it and ask for it every bedtime. Beware parents! You'll be pulling this one out a lot for the little ones. It even makes me laugh out loud in several places. I can't wait for the next one. Great job.

Not a good idea for toddlers. "smell blood" ..."grind bones to make my bread" etc. ... Leads to questions and I'd rather not have that conversation with my child.

Wonderful interactive book. This is one of my toddler's go-to apps. It has lovely drawings and lots of little games. Hoping upgrades will have some additional interaction like the colouring page and mouse puzzle.

Wish they were all like this!!!. The interactivity with the story and the hidden games make this endlessly entertaining for both my kids. The narrator is awesome, the characters speak when you touch them, there is a great range of music and songs. My kids love, love, love it!!! I truly wish all ipad books were like this. I went to buy another one right away and was disappointed to see that this is the only story Ayars Animation has put out! And that the only two other projects they're working on won't come out for months!!! NOOOOO!!!!! I was ready to buy ten more! The price was not an issue because you could not get this kind of value for $4 at Chapters. Please put out more classics like this one. It makes for great family time. If you're wondering if you should buy it... BUY IT!!!!!!! You and your kid's will love it. Thanks! Please make more!

Outstanding!. Best toddler game on the iPad hands down. My three year old and my two year old can't get enough of it after 1 month of near daily play. Well with the money.

Gotta be a joke. The reviews that give 4 stars must be done by friends and family of the developer. The book is a total rip-off. Very little interaction. Basically a picture book. Once through and your done. My 2 year old could care less about the "eggs". And how do the eggs relate to the story? I rate this APP -1 stars.

Superbly done. This is a superbly crafted storybook with surprises galore, and enough fun to keep my 5 yr old granddaughter and me entertained for over an hour. I look forward to more iPad stories from Ayars Animation Inc.

Simplistic. Compared to other ipad books available, this is simplistic. Yes, there are lots of pages but do they do anything? Sounds are assigned to animals and things. Touch them, you get a sound recording. Yippee. A few pages have shape-matching exercises or light coloring. Yippee. Graphics are dull. I hate to say it but this is soooo 2009. I expect a lot more from an iPad book in 2011!

Crashes a lot.. This would be a great app if it worked. It crashes the same place when starting the bean match game. I even recently just restored my iPhone and it still fails on a 3G running 4.0 S/W. It also causes random reboots of the entire iPhone. My 4 year old granddaughter has never made it thru the entire book without it crashing.

Really well done. The attention to detail is great. They clearly worked very hard to make this the terrific title it is.

great interactivity, but missed on learning to read. Interactivity is fantastic. Narration is a little fast, and it would be better with each word highlighted during the audio narration, instead of phrase or sentence. This would help children still learning to read.

My favorite iPad book. This is the first children's book I grab to show people new to iPad. Love it!

Good story, nothing ground breaking. It is a fun story but the interaction is nothing groundbreaking. Unless you consider a dancing chick and simple 'click audio' groundbreaking. This app should not have such a high rating. File size is way too big!

my kids loved it! and so did i!. it was fun reading this book with my 8yr old daughter and 10 year old son. very interactive and my kids smiled the whole way through telling me to push diiferent things on the page to make them come alive. for a dad it was a great excuse to read and connect with my children.

Spectacular!. There are many electronic children's books, but few truly interactive one's that utilize the potential of the iPad with embedded features and games. Ayers animation is the best in my humble opinion. they have another book, Cozmo's Day Off, and it is also of the highest quality. I have a 2 year and a 4 1/2 year old and these are clearly their two favorite books. There are other good books, to be sure, but these are our favorites. Definitely worth 4 dollars! Simply SPECTACULAR!

Very Interactive. It is a great app for the kiddies...it is interactive and fun. I think all kids ages 10 and under will have a lot of fun with it.

Kids love it. My boys love this read aloud and interactive story. I like that they keep updating and adding new secrets-- either that are we just keep discovering them. Either way, it's loads of fun.

Excellent storytime.. I sat with my 3 year old niece and 5 year old nephew and they wanted to touch everything in every page. They would get a liitle over eager at times, so I kind of wished it would have disallowed interaction until the narration for that page was complete.

Awesome!!!. This book is amazing. I hope to see more children's books from them. My 5yr old and 3yr old loved it. Very cool book. I can't wait to see more books on this level.

Good with one exception. My 2 year old really enjoys this app. The one thing I'd change is the annoying chick in the egg that appears unexpectedly when you touch the screen. It really gets on my nerves and detracts from the story.

Very interactive and fun!. This is a really great app. Lots of interactions for kids to enjoy for hours, I especially loved the hidden easter eggs placed throughout the story. The artwork is beautifully done bringing back a great classic fairly tale!

Make more please.. My 4 year old simply loves this application. We have fun reading it together and finding the various interactions on each page. Well worth the money.

The best Interactive book app yet!. This app is very fun - kids will want to read it over and over again to find all the surprises. There are games, singing creatures, puzzles, music, and many animations. Very cool.

My 4 yr and 9 yr olds love it. I have a 4 yr old and and 9 yr old and they both love it. They like the mini games in it. Animation is great and smooth.

Teriffic book. My grandkids love it! We've already spent. Hours with it, finding all the wonderful games, songs, and other surprises. Keep them coming!

Fun!. This is a very entertaining app. I am amazed at how my 22 month old has taken to it. Not only entertaining, but educational as well. This is the best children's app I have purchased so far. I highly recommend it!

Jack and the bean stalk. My 3 1/2 yo grandson squealed with delight at the surprise that repeatedly popped up on each page. I had to read it again and again 3 times in succession and he wanted more! Very interactive

I give it a 5. I love it. My kids love it. It includes game at the end that my kids enjoy. Highly recommendable if you have little ones.

Very disappointed..... ...that there aren't more apps like this. This is absolutely great and the hidden surprises make it fun the parents even after the 100th time we see it... Please make more!
