Satisfied customer. Using this app with my iPad and a win7 laptop hooked up to my television. Cursor is very responsive so far which was the main feature I was looking for. I have no problems scrolling or clicking. The shortcuts/doc/volume control are a bonus. Installation was fast and easy. It's nice being able to use pinching to zoom in and out on my tv, though it is taking some getting used to. I am using this setup to replace the ps3 Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad I have been using so far.

Great App With little improvement nEeded. this app is very well made, Sometimes it has some lag when the network is under load like at a school network, but i have seen no lag so far while connected with my home network. I would recommend it to people who prefer a touchpad rather than a mouse especially Since it has a keyboard buit in, The only problem is that it will Capitalize The next lettter typed if you pause for a Short while

Much improved. Functions have improved greatly in the last updates! Thank you for adding the mouse buttons! Awesome. Also, more than anything...the enhanced keypad with the arrows an F keys are great...If you made a standalone app that added that function to the default keypad would rock. Haven't seen anything like it before. The arrow keys make it easy to move in a text field to correct 1 letter, my fat fingers can't seem to ever be able to select a spot in the center of a word.

Good for now. I agree with the statement that the icons look as if they were upscaled. The biggest difference for me is the way the mouse actually moves. On the phone i would have had to increase the sensitivity. It actually feels like I have the entire monitor to move the mouse. (because I do) Upside : The main use will be HTPC and this will make it so I don't need a full keyboard and mouse to clutter the living room. This will be the best purchase for of everything that I have seen on the app store. This combined with an xbmc remote will be the ultimate htpc controller. Best of all i can surf the web on the big screen and share what i find with everyone around me thanks to this. Downside: For everything it has it also lacks. The best thing and the worst thing for me is that its just a giant glorified mouse. There doesn't seem to be enough difference from this to the air mouse for the iPhone. Shouldn't need to pay more than 2 in my opinion. The app launcher at the bottom is nice but as it has been said before its a little blurry. The media controller doesn't seem to work with "media player classic" (win) like the air mouse did. Haven't tried others yet. All in all I am "okay" with what I got and if you have the extra money to waist then go for it. If not then go get the free version of air mouse and it will do about the same thing just a little differently. At least until and upgrade comes out.

Very good....but not great. This is a very good app to just kind of mess around with, and like others have said, if you have your mac hooked up to a larger TV you use for entertainment it is very good. The only issues I have had with it are sometimes you will click on accident and then it's a bit of a pain to "un-click" and you end up highlighting a whole page. For $3 I would highly recommend this app, even if it's just to show people how cool and functional your "oversized iPod" (sarcasm) can be, and knowing how many of the iPad apps are going, buy it now before they release and update that makes it flawless and the price gets doubled.

Love this app. Works great!!! Especially handy because my pc remote doesn't have a keyboard and this does! Very occasionally the server times out when trying to open. All you have to do is close the app in the short cut tray (double clicking the home button and closing the app there) and then reopen it, and it will open like a charm.

Mobile Mouse is made of awesome.. So far, Mobile Mouse has impressed me. When my Wacom Graphire bit the dust, I panicked. There were deadlines looming and I knew that illustrating with the clunky standard mouse was going to result in an equally clunky illustration. And it would take twice as long to complete. Downloaded Mobile Mouse, spent an hour or so tweaking the settings and playing with it and I was back illustrating. It by no means will replace my Wacom tablet, but it's an excellent backup.

Lacking instructions. I like it so far but am troubled by how often I need to use “shift” to select multiple items or folders. I can’t figure out how to do this.

Very nice, but.... I love this app, it does pretty much exactly what it's supposed to do, however, is it possible for the option to be added to turn OFF those mouse buttons? I can see why some people might need them, but I'm just using tap to click and two finger right click on a mac, so they end up just getting in the way :( Also, this might be a bit more difficult, but is it possible to have a way to use pinching to zoom the whole screen or something? I usually use this when I'm watching TV, and sometimes I'll get an instant message from a friend and it's a bit hard to read it from my TV chair... would be nice if I could zoom in on that chat window a bit to respond... I'm lazy and getting up is hard :-P One last thing... the media buttons can feel a bit small at times... and there's no tracking button for some reason, or at least I haven't figured one out anyway. Can the volume buttons be a bit bigger? I've got stubby fingers :(

Great app but server is memory hog.... This app is great. I used to have itap on my iPod touch but this app beats it many times over. But be aware that the server that you have to have running on your computer is memory hungry itself and you also need to have the bonjour service running too. I'm running windows 7 and the air mouse server itself uses about 48,000 K and then factor in the memory usage of the iTunes/bonjour services that you have to have running too. Overall, if memory isn't an issue with your system and you don't mind background programs running with a large overhead then you'll love this app. I want to give it a 5 star review but can't because of the memory overhead.

When is this going to be updated for iPad?. I noticed a whole slew of new features added to the iPhone version of this, don't we get the same features with the iPad version? Don't we even get an update on the same day that the iPhone version was updated? Looks like this app has finally updated their helper for the PC, which basically hasn't been changed in four years. I'll have to edit this review after I've tried some of the new connection protocols. I can state fervently that most of the people who gave this a one star review are too stupid to own Apple devices and their reviews should be totally ignored.

Stops working often. I got this for my HTPC. It works OK, but seems to be poorly thought out. It's missing some important keys like Tab and Delete. I wish the mouse click buttons would readjust themselves when the keyboard comes up. There have been a few times where it will stop working. For example, when I minimize the server to the task tray, I'll need to get my real keyboard and open a program like Firefox. It also seems to do it whenever I close a program, which is really annoying. Also, it stops working when Windows User Account Control pops up. I used the magnifying glass feature which is cool, but when I closed out of it, it again stopped working. For 2.99, it's a very cheap alternative to a real keyboard/mouse and nothing more.

Not as good as iPhone app. I bought this app expecting it to be as good as its iPhone sibling, Air Mouse Pro. Unfortunately this iPad version feels very poorly thought-out and rushed. It's completely unusable horizontally if you want to type something. Its controls also look blurry, like the images used in them were scaled up versions of the ones used in Air Mouse. The addition to the regular keyboard also takes up a lot of space (how do I toggle it off?) and the buttons are poorly organized and crammed together. How about instead of tacking all those buttons on top of the keyboard, they just have one extra row like the iPad version with a button giving you an alternate keyboard with the F1-F12 keys? I liked that the iPhone version had the control/command/shift keys separate from the other ones and clearly distinguishable since those buttons are used frequently. I also don't understand why they took out the option to have a right-click and scrolling area when this app has more room to work with (I wasn't a fan of tapping with two fingers on the iPhone and am still not on the iPad). There's so much potential to make this app better than the iPhone version. Hopefully they clean it up in future versions.

Great, but…. Everything it does, it does very well. I just would love to see an option for a full screen of large hot key icons when working in a program with that set up. For example, there are options for 8 hot keys for each program and I’d love to see that as just a full screen with 8 huge buttons with customizable icons. I’d pay extra for this and bump up a star

Simply, It is the best. Been using this app on iPhone and now iPad for several years and have found it delivers everything it promises - it simply works. Not sure why there aren't other reviews - btw I've tried others that promise the same and while each worked I found them to be either glitchy or non-intuitive.

This is great! Try to fix Chinese handwriting input. Works really well! The only thing is, when I use the Chinese handwriting input keyboard for iOS, the mobile mouse iOS app crashes after a couple characters have been written. I write a few characters, and those get sent to the computer fine, and then the app crashes. Please fix this! Try to make Chinese handwriting input more stable within the app so that this app can send handwritten output to the computer without crashing! Also, could it be possible to add an option that can toggle auto input for the Chinese handwriting keyboard? What I mean is, a few seconds after the character is written, the first option is automatically chosen and inputted. Sometimes I would like for there to be infinite time for me to choose the right option, like how the keyboard works on iOS devices. If this is fixed, it will certainly be a 5-star app!

This used to be great.. I used to love this, but it’s now dead. The peer to peer Bluetooth and hardwire connection have not worked at all. I went out and got a Magic Trackpad at the apple store because it wouldn’t work. The sever probably has nothing to do with it, but I solved it by getting a trackpad. If you update it to work I’ll keep using it since I have a phone etc. I couldn’t handle the constant freezing and crashing. I purchased this thinking if I use it peer to peer and hardwired I’ll have no problem. I was wrong. iTunes is no more so I don’t know why you still have that as a selling point. Fix it or hand it off to someone that will. It’s a shame such a good piece of software is going to go to waste. Don’t bother trying to look for something better than physical hardware touchpads because it’s night and day.

great, but there is one flaw.. I am very impressed with this app. While the new features don't merit the extra dollar over the iPhone application, this app was very optimized for iPad... Except for one thing. The scrolling is terrible. It's just disgusting, like using the clunky, primitive scrolling built into PC laptop trackpads. It repeatedly lost one of my two fingers while scrolling, and the page being scrolled frequently jerked around and had extensive lag. When this is fixed, this app will definitely merit a five star rating.

To the developers. This is an excellent application for the iPad. I would love to see a fully configurable multitouch gesture interface for your app that controls macs and PCs. Have you ever heard of fingerworks? They developed an excellent system for multitouch gestural computing. Apple purchased fingerworks and has been drip feeding the technology to consumers since the iPhone. I believe you are in a perfect position to jump ahead and emulate the fingerworks touch stream keyboard on the iPad. I don't have enough room here to go into details about just how advanced fingerworks was before they were shuttered. Please have a look.. Look up fingerfans and fingerworks. More gestures please.. On a different note: you shouldn't keep putting the keyboard away every time you want to move the cursor. The app should be able to tell the difference between a key strike and a mouse motion.

Don't let negative ads fool you. I set this baby up with 7 computers in under 30 minutes. Using it in a VR arcade to control each computer with an iPad. CAKE One tip. Close out of the server (host app on computer) and restart it the very first time you start it up. For some reason the host doesn't work directly. After you do this the first time it works every time thereafter

Geek heaven!. I've used the free app for iPod Touch for quite some time now. I've always thought it's a cool app. But since I bought a flashy new iPad 2 yesterday, I decided to invest in the bigger, better version. I have to say I'm very impressed! It has tons of keyboard shortcuts, iTunes control panel, Safari hotkeys and, one of the most awesome features, it supports of of Lion's multi-touch gestures. i can even easily swipe through my mission control spaces. You gotta try this. if you like the free version, you'll love the premium app!

Awesome, Especially with Mountain Lion. This is a great app! I have been using it for the last 4-5 years, originally starting with the version for the iPod Touch. It is a great alternative to a touchpad and wireless keyboard when trying to run your computer when hooked up to the TV. I have both the touchpad and the keyboard, but trying to balance their use is fairly difficult. This gives you all the access you need to fully control your computer and even wakes it up while it is asleep. The iPad version was a great upgrade, adding more buttons and functionality. I would recommend this great app for anyone seeking to make their life a little easier and more wire free. Thanks to the new upgrades from Mountain Lion I can now stream my desktop wirelessly to any of my apple tvs and use this app to control my computer as if I was in front of it. The lag is hardly noticeable! Would definitely recommend. I hope that future functionality is added to toggle airplay mirroring from the iPad. This could allow me to actually toggle the airplay stream and turn it on, which would require nothing but me needing to essentially just plug my laptop into power and control it however I need to. Would be even better if this was added!

In a work environment - NO no.. I don't know if my internet connection is not fast enough (I've tried both 2.4 and 5GhZ bands on both G and N wireless), but this application does not work in actual time. When you think the pointer is finally responding at live speeds, it does a hiccup and you lose traction. And even though the iPad screen is huge, it doesn't read as well as the trackpad. Doing the gestures for Mac OS are simply are pain. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I basically have to look at the iPad as I'm doing the actions to make sure my fingers are correctly spaced when doing a 5 finger spread, etc. Never have to do it with the actual trackpad. I guess it's good to use it from bed, but to use it as an actual substitute for a trackpad or mouse in a work environment, it falls short. Wish I could get my money back.

The added keyboard is a plus. OMG you have solved a huge problem for me by including the keyboard because I was using the virtual keyboard on my Windows 7 computer to input for the longest time. OK you want a suggestion about how make this product incredible and charge more so you can earn more money: Add a modified remote desktop ability and show me a virtual desktop screen on my iPad so I can see on my iPad where on my desktop I am navigating to. Hire me and I will write the application for you.

Works as it should. This app is very handy for a couple of things. I do not have a blu-ray player but I have a blu-ray reader attached to my mac. So I can play a blu-ray on my mac and stream it to the apple tv, and use this app to control playback. Also, my keyboard just died and this app on my iPad became my only keyboard until I bought a replacement. The customer support is excellent - super responsive!

iPad & Pad Mouse. It seems to work and set up properly however the iPad app doesn't Seem to have the same functionality as the iPhone version. TheRE doesn'T sEem to be a manual on the web site. My only real complaint Is that whenever i pause typing for more then a second or two It capitalizes the next letter. This hapPens Even in the middle of a word. The only solution i have found is typing without stopping, and of course thats not practical, i'M sure they'll fix it. When they get this up to the level the iphone app is on i'm sure it'lL be a winner and I'll adjust my rating.

No pinch zoom! Like RowMote. Mostly good app but lacks ESSENTIALS such as PINCH TO ZOOM. When using on an HTPC or Mac mini it is very useful to be able to zoom in on text such as in safari WITHOUT leaving your trackpad screen!! As of now I have to switch to the competions row mote for this. More application specific controls would be useful. Volume control without having to open iTunes. More safari controls. Easier controls for opening and closing apps and maybe add Expose like feature for viewing open windows. Thanks for the app

Great app. I have a Mac mini connected to my TV. I used to use a wireless apple keyboard and trackpad glued to a chopping board cut in half. Now i use mobile mouse via my iPad 2. It is more than just a mouse and handles the job far better than I had expected. Well worth the $3 if you want to remote operate your computer from the sofa and not require the use of a keyboard and mouse.

This used to be a great app. I have used this app to control my Mac Mini from my iPad for a while now. The last few days have been awful. The app will not stay connected to my computer. The file folders will not load, and a pop up appears saying I don't have r newest version. I deleted the apps and re-downloaded it as well as rest the server on my computer. Nothing is helping. When I try and play a movie that it on my computer, I have to wait 5-10 minutes before the computer recognizes the command. I am very disappointed with this upgrade.

Good, but it has issues. Try two finger scrolling a page in iTunes, and on an App page with screen shots try scrolling left & right. It's not very smooth... and its behavior is unpredictable. It doesn't seem to "lock on" to a horizontal or vertical scroll swipe as well as a Macbook's track pad. Speaking of that, there's no 3 finger gesture support and even 2 finger gesture support is limited. If this app did all the gestures of a Macbook's track pad, it would be killer--but it doesn't. Swiping to navigate web pages would be great (forward and back), for one. I'd also like to see a global sound feature to change system volume/mute no matter what app you're in. Keep up the good work... for me this is more of a novelty than a practical app until full gesture support on a Mac is supported.

Just what I needed for my butterfly key problem!. My butterfly keys collect dust, and this is the best solution I've found to either obsessively cleaning the gunk or returning my MacBook to Apple for repairs. If your butterfly key's spacebar is giving you problems and the warranty has ended, here's a simple solution. (You can also use this at the same time you're using your native keyboard, meaning you can use your iPad or iPhone whenever you get to that one key that's a problem if it's convenient for your problem (maybe a numeral or the return key, etc.)) I am madly pleased.

Perfect!!!. This app absolutely works! iCal notifications display, multi-touch gestures, iTunes controls, and on and on and on!!! For the negative reviews: Do your homework and follow the developer's directions. After downloading the server app to my computer, I literally had this up and running in less than two minutes. Buy this app and enjoy the slickest remote for your computer!!

Good to go.. I have both the iPhone and iPad versions of this app and have been very pleased with both of them. I feel like the iPad version is slightly more responsive than the iPhone. But again, both are great apps. Aside from turning the TV on, I don't even use a regular remote control anymore, and I did away with my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.

The best of everything!. Works great with iOS 12+. Works great with my 13 yo iMac. Has more features than I will ever need. Among the most valuable apps I have ever purchased. If..if there was one thing I’d ask for it would be an exhaustive image map with nomenclature of the visible features on the pads. I still don’t know what those 5 tiny green lights (dots) are for. Or, the yellow arrows which I think are for scrolling. Such a great app deserves a simple manual so buyers will appreciate all its features.

crap for the $$$. I've owned and used the pro version of this for my iphone for a long time and even used the same on my ipad. I recently upgraded my ipad to the ipad 2 and unknowingly installed this version thinking it was the version I've already paid for and been using. To my surprise it was a rip off version of the original for the iphone that is so buggy I can't believe not only that I ended up paying twice for this app [once for my iphone and again for my ipad], but that they're passing it off as something as good or better than the original I've been using on my iphone. Place this in the spot where you've wasted money on apps. If you have an iphone and have this app already......don't waste the extra money. And P.S. Guys, it's not that good to soak us ipad and iphone owners twice!! This is a case where you pay extra and again for the ipad version and find it's crap for the $$$

Great app with many uses. This app's use is very self explanatory, It turns your iPad/iPhone into a mouse for your Computer. But what the app can also do for you is be a virtue drawing tablet, an easy access multilingual keyboard, and a remote for various features. The app does what it sets out to do well, and then some. The only real flaw I found with the device is how counter intuitive the shortcut bar was for windows. Other than that, If you are in need of a great mouse app, look no further than here.

Long time user who loves this app. I have used this app for years. It was one of the first apps I downloaded for my iPhone 3G. Many phone upgrades later and iPads later and I am still using this app when ever I need easy control of my media PC. I can not recommend this app enough to anyone needing a easy and inexpensive solution to a traditional keyboard and mouse.

A Very Bad Port. I'm not sure how you go from what is an amazingly well thought out and refined iPhone app, to this...a very poorly thought out port of the iPhone version. Aside from the application dock, all other aspects of the iPad UI are just scaled up from the iPhone. Even the two finger gestures feel like they are required to be too spread apart as though the finger spacing was just scaled up to the larger screen. I would probably be more willing to accept this half assed effort if it had been rolled into a universal update to the iPhone version. Instead I had to purchase this app looking for similar quality to the iPhone version, but instead I just get a bunch of scaled up muck with seemingly no thought put into how the UI might be better served on a large screen. I really hope you guys were just trying to get something out the door to fill the void and are planning a major revision to the interface. Otherwise I guess I'll just have to hope that someone else figures it out and my review will remain one star. The saddest thing is that this is still probably the best available option for iPad remotes...

Amazing app. Great way to browse and select movies and control media apps on my 27" iMac from across the room. Works amazingly well. The server got stuck once or twice and had to be shut down and restarted during the setup and customization process, but once that was done I had no more problems with it. Mostly, It just works. One minor bug is that it occasionally refuses to open a folder. All I do when that happens is click done and then reopen the file browser and then the folder opens. If not for those minor bugs I'd easily give it 5 stars. It's really a terrific app!

Good app now that it's fixed. When I first bought the app I had some major lag issues when Bluetooth was turned on but it looks like they fixed it...still problem with the windows server tho because it won't work if u have a computer with multiple ip addresses.

Insanely amazing!. I've been using this with my htpc for about 6 months, then I upgraded to a MacBook pro and it supports basic gesturing! This app is so intuitive it's impressive. It's almost like you walked into my living room, found the easiest way to use my tv and programmed it just for me. The only abilities I would like are the ability to change the scroll speed, and reversing the three finger swipe direction. Other than that it's the perfect app!

Amazing mouse app. I used Remote Mouse for years and it did the job but it wasn't the most versatile. After installing this app I was immediately impressed. It looks beautiful and works the same! Highly recommend for everyone and is worth the $2.99. Also utilizes the volume buttons on your iPad to turn down or up your PCs volume, very convenient.

One of the best!. I use this app to remote into my desktop at work and at home. I am a C6-7 tetraplegic and using this app on my iPad makes working so much easier. I don’t understand when people leave really negative ads. I’ve never had a problem connecting this to any computer. It has always worked like a gem! My only wish would be that it had a “tab” button.

This has actually saved me from back problems. Since my MacBook screen broke I went and bought the cords to hook it up to my bedroom tv. Problem is that the MacBook has to sit so close to the tv that I have to sit on my knees on hardwood floors to reach the MacBook and lean out at the same time to see what I'm doing on the tv. With this app I can comfortably sit on my bed and use my MacBook on my tv with out the hassle or pain.

Fixed. Here is the crash fix posted by the developer. For those who just updated to the new version. I have tested it and it works. Would have given 5 stars except for the caveat. To fix the crashing problem, delete the app and download it again. Then use Bonjour instead of IPs until the next update comes out, which should be any day now.

NICE, just...NICE!!. If you already own this for the iPhone or iPod be ready to buy it again. That said, here's what I have to say about this AMAZING app. I'm impressed. Basically, from a nerd-standpoint, it hijacks your system wirelessly and gives you control from the iPad. Install it on your buddy's laptop and hide around the corner if you want... open up applications, type in porn site addresses... but let's talk about REAL practical uses. This program can be used several ways. Home Theater PC (htpc) for one; it's a great way to sit back on your sofa and control your computer from across the room. All you need is to be connected to your wifi router and you're all set, which is great because bluetooth use on the iPad is a battery killer (I'm using a BT keyboard right now) so... what can I say? WiFi-FTW! Now, what's REALLY COOL about this app is that you can use it to control more than one computer. Let's say I'm using my desktop with multi-monitors but my laptop is running. So... I use the app to make my ipad do what I want my desktop to do... then I can change over to take control of the laptop without getting up. Now if you have several desktops running... you don't have to swap between mice and keyboards... FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

Must have. I use this app nearly every day at home and at work. I'm a science teacher and mobile mouse makes it so I control my computer projection as I move about the room. At home I also have a similar set up where I project from my computer to watch movies, etc. I use mobile mouse to control that from the iPad so I dont have to leave the couch. It's slick!

Wow. Ignore any rating less than 5 stars. This took longer to download then to set up. It is flawless. Apps like this amplify what an amazing device the Ipad is. I'm controlling Windows 7 with it, browsing from my couch, controlling all my media players, editing photos and video. For a couple bucks I got the functionality and then some of a high priced touchscreen monitor. This completed my home media center..... Awesome app.

Some small, annoying changes to a solid product. I used this app on my iPad 2 for over a year now, it really is an excellent product. If I was rating this on my old iPad 2, it would get 5 stars. I just have some minor issues with the new version on my iPad 3. First issue I have is that when trying to activate the music controls/volume panel, it either starts or brings forward iTunes, on top of whatever I was trying to do. Please revert or add a separate system utilities panel to manage system volume, eject, universal player controls, etc. that does not open a application. Other issue is starting orientation when resuming the app. It always resumes in portrait mode, even when stopped in landscape and the iPad is in landscape when I launch the app. I never use this app in portrait mode. Show me a laptop trackpad in portrait orientation. I like that there is an option but please make it work right. It is still a very good product and I will give it a 5 star rating once these small issues are fixed.

Why buy again?. I bought this for my iPhone and loved it. It's even more useful on the iPad. But here's the issue I have. Why didn't they just release an update for the original to be universal. I have a bunch of other apps I paid for that were update for free to be universal for the Pad and iPhone. This just seams like a shallow cash in to me... But I guess I can't blame them with the down economy and all, still seams lame they did that though.

Works a TREAT!!!. I can't say how happy I am with this app, it needs polishing, but on my MBP and wi-fi, this app has replaced my wireless keyboard and made the MBP a near permanent part of the media cabinet GREAT Job! Only complaints, well complaint, the scroll features for the MBP aren't quite as smooth as the MBP touch pad, but very nearly replicate the track pad perfectly. Oh, when adjusting the main system volume, having a visual reference would be helpful. Can't wait for the next version!

Not working since update. Keeps loosing connection ever since update I have checked my network and computer. I'm really disappointed that I payed money for this worked for a month then they go and do this.

Best Application Remote on iTunes!. This app is a delight🌟! it has multiple ways of using the remote, connecting to your computer/laptop and even connects to my Samsung TV with ease! Very versatile (e.g. includes Apple and Microsoft keyboard letters, like the 'command' function for Mac♥️). I have the app on ALL of my devices, it is 100% worth the money and MORE than worth the 5 - 10 minutes to read the instructions and set it up. Gets one big ✔️ of approval ➕ 5 x collosal comets 🎇 surrounded 🌌 by shooting stars 🌠, epic💫. Enough said, you get the point: If you're reading the reviews you are proobably undecided on purchasing this app, I'm here to ensure you it's worth your money; I set-up my entire "library" of devices at the cost a mere meal at McDonalds✨ ⇒ putting it that way has also helped get a better perspective for me ⭐️.

New update Doesn't load at all. After update, once I try to start the app it just jump yo a black screen for 1 sec. And I'm back to the main iPad wall.

Great classroom app. As a teacher I use this app all the time. Very helpful and works so well with a big range of software. Has really changed the way I and my students interact with our IWB. LOVE IT!

No more useful than the iPhone version. The multitouch gestures don't work with iOS 5. ie 4 fingers up and down. And they are unable to be edited to 3 fingers. If you have the iPhone version, you don't need this.

Quality couch time!. Works perfectly, vast improvement over the free version, I just can't understand why others have a problem with it. If you are looking for a long distance mouse pad this is the one. Easy to instal, easy to connect and very easy to operate. Thank you.

Excellent!. Had it on my iPod touch but the larger screen of the iPad is much better. It is so easy to set up, took me less than a minute, I love the dock! The only function I missed was a simple click and drag (that doesn't require using both hands) find a way to add that and this app will be perfect :)

Suggestion.. Great app. I suggest that you make full enhanced Osx lion controls like flicking through multi tasking screens and expouse.

Fantastic app. With my MacBook Pro plugged into the plasma TV and stereo, Mobile Mouse has become the gateway to couch-based control of a universe of streaming and stored media. It provides simple, reliable control of anything and everything on the computer via my wi-fi network. It works so easily and well that I've never felt the need to consider any other app.

Mobile Mouse. Absolute garbage. I've got a Mac Mini and it doesn't work at all. Don't waste your money.

Need a remote control for TV on Win Media Center?. Perfect! That's exactly what I wanted, and got. Don't get this if you need to see the remote PC's desktop content on your iPad. DO get this if you need either a Windows Media Center remote control, OR an extra remote keyboard/mouse. Brilliant.

Pretty good with a couple of minor issues. Connection works well and is easy to set up and is fast to reconnect. Mac wakes from sleep immediately. Some little hiccups when switching applications, clicking on a window does not always switch to that windows application menu bar. Can be annoying. Otherwise it's pretty good value.

Works ok.... However this app hasn't been updated in a while. it still has some annoying quirks, such as a propensity to initiate drag lock when all you intend to do is select something. This results in objects being dragged around to places you didn't intend. The app should have proper integration with safari's smart zoom, and the server app needs to be rewritten in cocoa. Otherwise ok.

Not so meek Mouse App. I love this tool especially on the mini. Simple to use and very reactive to movements. Only thing is I would like to see the mouse buttons move 'up' when you activate the keyboard so you don't have to minimise the keyboard to use mouse again. Love it!!

Waste of money. After 40 minutes of troubleshooting; reinstalling, disabling firewalls, disabling virus protection, restarting laptop - still not working, very disappointed and have just gone to the competitor and theirs worked straight away. Would like a full refund.

Worth the money. This is awesome, definitely worth getting. It was extremely easy to setup on my Mac mini, less than 5 mins to have it downloaded and working. I don't understand how people could find this hard to install. Keyboard and mouse for HTPC now sit out of the way we have this :) very happy

Stopped working since the last update. Using it on mac mini, updated the app on both iphone 4 and iPad 3. App doesn't 'see' the server anymore, nor does manual connection work. Please fix.

Works so smoothly. I have a Mac Mini being used as a media centre, this app is so useful for that setup. I can be browsing or eBaying and watching something while playing I use the apple remote, when it's finished I go to this app to pick the next program. Never leaving the couch and not requiring a keyboard and track pad.

Love it. This is one of the most useful apps I have. Use it for remote controlling the computer when we are watching movies on the projector. Works perfectly.

A game changing app!. The moment I launched this little gem, I knew it was responsive, user friendly and broad in its features. I was able to use this app to remove all the annoying hardware and wires on my desk (mouse, keyboard, phone chargers, iPad holder and graphics pad) and with this app I was able to replace all of these hardware with only a one minor (personal preference) change: The icon that displays the keyboard being at the top right feels a little too small and cumbersome to access when you want quick access to the keyboard. I'd like to see the icon at the bottom of the page maybe always showing at the bottom of one of the scroll arrows or as a shortcut (something like a triple tap on screen or swipe upwards?). Aside rom the occasional lag (probably my end) and one freeze (probably my error), I think this is a game changing app. I love what it has done for my creative space - made more room for creativity and given me all the features I want in one device/app. BRILLIANT! I've been telling all my friends!

Media box essential. Fantastic app. I use it for a media PC hooked up to a TV for easy video file viewing. It's simple interface and compatibilty with media players such as VLC make it a much more convenient and elegent option over keyboards/mouse combos. The ability to go through folders and open video file from the ipad is what made it my choice over the other touch pad apps. Only improvements that could be made would be to fix the volume controls and give the media controls a few more (default) options (skipping within the video, maximising the screen and closing the program) as the custom controls are a bit fiddly.

Good but.... Worth the cost but ipad version lacks instruction on support site. Still a few bugs like "full screen" remote button on iTunes doesn't work. It's not clear where u can customise buttons. S

Needs split screen support. Good, but it needs split screen multitasking support on the iPad. Who needs a full iPad screen size mouse? But you might need to use the mouse app while doing something else.

Easy setup, elegant to use. Wasn't very clear that you need the server running to get the app to work, but once installed the app worked instantly. Elegant and very responsive. It's replaced the hard keyboard and mouse for my Mac that's hooked up to my TV. That alone would make it worth the three bucks but the software really sells itself.

Bad service. Bought this app and it's not working. I have disabled a lll firewalls and still it fails to connect. The iPhone app works fine but not the iPad app. I emailed the developer several times and have not had any response. The app has great potential but at the moment it's useless to me. DO NOT BUY THIS APP it's a rip off

Great app when I can get it to work. I managed it get it to work and I was surpassed by the complete lack of lag. However, I only managed to get it to work by fluke. Im getting sick of these remote apps that just don't work out of the box.

Doesn’t Work?. I have a iPad 2 and 2012 MacMini both with the latest software and couldn’t get them to talk to each other even when creating vpn. Going through all the troubleshooting seems like there is an expectation that it won’t work in many situations. Be very cautious.

Broken. Newest update doesn't work

Clumsy to use. Easy to set up, but that's all the good. The keyboard doesn't work very well and is too large to use together with the mouse. Mouse buttons are not customizable, are way too large and always accidentally hit it. Finally, the media buttons are designed for windows media center (no navigation keys). I want a refund.

Seriously, Best App Ever. I was looking for a numerical keypad for my computer (I love my wireless keyboard but it really needs a numeric keypad) and decided to check to see if my iPad could somehow fill the gap. This is the second remote mouse app I found (and definitely the better of the two in my opinion) which had a numerical keypad. It also has tons of surprising and useful functionality that I am starting to discover. It can launch apps from the dock, browse my file system and respond to clicks, etc... In the file lists. Amazing!!. I first got this app for my iPhone when my mouse batteries were dying as an interim solution and found it quite handy. When I saw it was a separate application, I almost didn't get it. But then I did and I am SO glad! This app is amazing!! I thought it would be slow to connect. It isn't. It's FAST. This app is so good, I have turfed my "regular" mouse entirely. THIS is what I use. Period. This app is worth every penny! Seriously.

Very Buggy. Useless until fixed - don't get this app until reviewers have confirmed that it works properly. The main issue is that it often misinterprets what you're trying to do. A left click will be a right click, or a drag; the scroll bar use is intermittent as is two finger scrolling, etc etc. Get this app and watch your blood pressure go through the roof...

Great, but needs more multitouch gestures.... Love this program, though I don't like paying for software twice (iPhone and iPad version). Needs full multitouch gestures (one, two, and three fingers) to keep up with the competition, though.

Works Great. This app works great on my mac and pc. IPad + this app makes my media centre a fantastic experience. It replaces a cumbersome bluetooth keyboard (with trackpad) and mouse. No issues with lag. Fantastic.

It is okay. This is a really good app for the iPad. The only issues I have with it are that it doesn't have the powerpoint presenter like the iPhone version does. The only reason why I bought it was for the powerpoint presenter and was kind of ticked off that it wasn't there. Other then that if you are looking for a plain remote mouse, this one is good.

Works well!. Like one of the above reviewers, I almost didn't buy this app because of the negative reviews. Was pleasantly surprised to find that it does a fantastic job as a remote mouse/keyboard for controlling my htpc running windows 7 - so much so that I sold my Logitech dinovo mini keyboard/mouse combo 2 small issues though: it cant wake Windows from sleep mode, and it can't interact with windows 7 security dialogs Other than this, it does exactly as advertised and is one of my most used ipad apps Well worth the price!

The best so far. First of all I also own the iPhone app. Even though I had to buy the iPad version it is worth it. I build Hi-End Media Centers and have to say that this app is so slick and worth ever cent! 5 Stars all the way. I tell everyone that its a must have app and they all buy and love it! I wish only a few things that would make this app even better than what it is now. I wish you put channel up / down keys as well as navigation keys on the media dash. Dissatisfied. If you want to use this app using USB stay away, after you purchase they demand more money for an additional communications package.

Intermittent problems. I wouldn't buy again... It's pretty sketchy, it works for 30 seconds just fine, then it freezes and I have to reconnect... Also very laggy. Very annoying. I will wait to find a better one. It has great potential though.

Frustrating Dropped Connections. The connection between the app on my iPad and the Mobile Mouse server on my Mac Mini is frequently interrupted for a few minutes. This often occurs when selecting a menu item in Safari, such as quit. This has been true through recent updates, whereas the app performed flawlessly in the past. A shame.

Consistently exceeds expectations. Incredible fast refresh rate, constant updates to add features, fluid/intuitive app, just super impressed. When I away from my house I can VPN my phone to my home network, tether my iPad to use Splashtop, and use this app on my phone to control the mouse. You will not regret this purchase, developers this dedicated to polish are hard to find

My first app review. I've had the iPad for six months now and this Is my first app review. I almost didn't buy this app because of the negative reviews. I'm glad I did! I'm running win7 on an old Dell Inspiron laptop as my HTPC, following the instructions to download and install software first and then run the app everything setup and ran perfectly the first time. Very cool app and well worth the price.

Needs split screen on iPad. With split screen on iPad mini, I will give this app the 5 stars it will deserve. :)

Selling my Bluetooth mouse/keyboard. Does everything I needed and much more, great tool. I also have the iPhone version and don't mind paying for a separate iPad app that has iPad specific functionality, like bigger keyboard, dock etc. The money I pocket after selling my lenovo keyboard pays for this app many times over :)

If you need a remote mouse, this is it. Look nowhere else.. This is by far the most robust, user friendly, and useful remote mouse apps I have seen anywhere, by anyone. No crashes and set-up is very simple. Not just a remote mouse, but keyboard as well. This is how apps should be done.

Amazing mouse app. I used Remote Mouse for years and it did the job but it wasn't the most versatile. After installing this app I was immediately impressed. It looks beautiful and works the same! Highly recommend for everyone and is worth the $2.99. Also utilizes the volume buttons on your iPad to turn down or up your PCs volume, very convenient.

Best Mouse App for the IPad!. I use many drawing programs on my PC and MAC. I was hoping for a program that would integrate well with the apps I use. Until now, the programs that I used in the past were ok... But lacked in some functionality with my applications (particularly on my PC). But not anymore! I use this program, and got rid of my mouse! I love this program!

Love this app. Works great!!! Especially handy because my pc remote doesn't have a keyboard and this does! Very occasionally the server times out when trying to open. All you have to do is close the app in the short cut tray (double clicking the home button and closing the app there) and then reopen it, and it will open like a charm.

Stop auto correct. This app is great but I just can't give it 5 stars until they fix that ANNOYING autocorrect. It doesn't work properly. It types the word twice after correcting so I have to go back and delete it and type it again. It just causes a BUNCH of errors. I've tried all the settings but I can't get it to stop so they need to either remove it or add an on/off option.

Much better than other apps.. I tried a competing app that hasn't been updated in awhile before this one. It was also 2x expensive. That app couldn't get around Windows' UAC. This app is leaps and bounds better with no issues at all. Wish I could have learned before buying the other one. Thanks for this great app.

Where's multitouch?. I bought this thinking it would be like my MacBook trackpad. It can do 2finger scroll, but I see no option for the four fingers and the pinch doesn't seem to work the way it does with the trackpad. I was hoping to use this with expose and swipe between applications. I would ask them about it on their website but their forum doesn't work ... And the app keeps disconnecting like the other review says. When I type on the keyboard sometimes words will repeat. Very disappointed with this purchase, hopefully they'll fix it.

Feedback lag limits true potential. Installation and set-up of the two applications (one for desktop; one on ipad) was very easy. Great instructions on their website. But I found considerable lag between ipad inputs and reaction on the desktop. I can imagine a few uses for this app on my ipad even with that lag but the app is not a replacement for keyboard/mouse yet.

Not like the iPhone app. I use the iPhone version daily and was very excited to see an iPad version, but the keyboard is completely messed up. It types special characters I stead of numbers and wants to capitalize a letter is you pause during typing. Safari opened a new tab anytime I clicked on a bookmark. Like I said the iPhone version is great and hope the developer will update this soon. It has potential to be a great app like the iPhone version but as it is now it was a waste of money.

Nice app.... I own a MBP, and I do most of my work from my sofa. This app makes a very nice, well featured, wireless keyboard, at the very least. I really like it, and I fully recommend it to everybody. I have it on my iPad & my iPhone... and I use them both frequently. I refrain from giving 5 stars, though, because the iPhone version is (for ME, anyway) somewhat wonky at times... but I like it nonetheless.

Solid controls --well worth the price. I've used a couple of different apps for controlling my Macs, on the iPhone and iPad. This one is easily the best. My suggestion: if you think you might use this, just grab it. You will.

Amazingly useful. This app is one of those things which you don't think about until you have it, and can't imagine to go without after you do... After the upgrade to ios5 wiped out all the apps from my iPad - this app was the first I've restored. Enough said? Get it and enjoy!

Great potential.. Using the iPad as a wireless touchpad is great, however, the app is very buggy and lacks compatibility. Anything involving multi touch/gestures fails. Even the simple two finger scroll usually fails, and even when it recognizes this gesture, it doesn't work properly. I am sure the developers are aware, I mean how can they miss it. Perhaps competition from other iPad developers will motivate them to be a bit more hard working and honest.

Great... when it connects.. It would have gotten 4 stars from me, because when this app works, it works quite well. Trouble is, every other day I get a Server Not Found error message despite it working moments before. So you have to try everything from restarting your htpc, the app, to even re-installing the server software. So... It works about 60% of the time. Not great since I paid for the premium version on both my iPad and iPhone (both get the same error) and the server software is on a Mac Mini with a non-firewalled network. Also, this software was never able to wake the Mini up. Not once. This makes this app a nice novelty, but it's not reliable to really use on a daily basis. Better bet (I'm hoping) is the Lenovo N5902 multimedia keyboard.

Why buy again?. I bought this for my iPhone and loved it. It's even more useful on the iPad. But here's the issue I have. Why didn't they just release an update for the original to be universal. I have a bunch of other apps I paid for that were update for free to be universal for the Pad and iPhone. This just seams like a shallow cash in to me... But I guess I can't blame them with the down economy and all, still seams lame they did that though.

No multi-tasking. You can’t multitask with Mobile Mouse. If you want to go back-and-forth between mobile mouse and another app, every time you go back to Mobile Mouse it has to re-connect, and it doesn’t always re-connect right away, wi-fi or usb, extremely frustrating. I’m also frustrated that there isn’t a full keyboard with keypad option..the keyboard and keypad can only be brought up separately.

Great!. iPhone or iPad this app works flawlessly. I have a Mac mini hooked up to my tv and when my iPad is handy I often prefer to use this app over the wireless keyboard and mouse. Great interface that has been consistent and reliable for years!

A Few More Features Please. I love the app. It is fast and effective. If you could add a dedicated directional pad and enter button like on universal remotes, this app would be even more amazing. Maybe even some simple options to design your own remote. And for us Windows users, any help dealing with UAC is greatly appreciated! Thanks for a great app.

Good app. Good overall app. Would like to see you add a feature allowing you to view iTunes playlists and music library directly on iPad screen. This would make for easier song selection while Mac is in another room. (hooked up to house stereo system). Also would be nice to see thumbnails of keynote screens while presenting.

It works. It works, and, it has a very complete feature set for working with windows computers. You can easily manage shortcut keyboard combos (iPad version), on the iPhone you can do it all, but it's a bit more involved.... Just because of the small screen space, but its there.

Great app, couple kinks. Sometimes when I open certain programs or files, it Opens them just fine but it doesn't bring it to the front of the screen. I have to click on it in the task bar to bring it up. I'm using windows 7. Minor annoyance for an overall fantastic app.

Perfect remote mouse. Previous versions of this remote mouse app had issues with staying connected, but it seems those are now all taken care of. I use this every day, so I think I can safely say that I love using it. It might be a tad more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I have decided that it was well worth it.

Great, but…. Everything it does, it does very well. I just would love to see an option for a full screen of large hot key icons when working in a program with that set up. For example, there are options for 8 hot keys for each program and I’d love to see that as just a full screen with 8 huge buttons with customizable icons. I’d pay extra for this and bump up a star

This used to be a great app. I have used this app to control my Mac Mini from my iPad for a while now. The last few days have been awful. The app will not stay connected to my computer. The file folders will not load, and a pop up appears saying I don't have r newest version. I deleted the apps and re-downloaded it as well as rest the server on my computer. Nothing is helping. When I try and play a movie that it on my computer, I have to wait 5-10 minutes before the computer recognizes the command. I am very disappointed with this upgrade.

Great every day keyboard and then some.... I've been looking for a keyboard to use on my desktop as a couch keyboard. It works better than anything else I have used, even normal keyboards because of the touchscreen mouse. I don't need anything but this program. Strongly recommended.

Great product! Just needs volume controls. I use Mobile Mouse to control the Mac Mini that I have connected to my TV. If the app had some way to control volume, I' probably never need my blue tooth keyboard. This is a great app, but please add volume control to the virtual keyboard.

Perfect for trainers. Have both iPad and iPhone versions of app. Both are terrific! Works extremely well for my training sessions and presentations. Have used a wireless trackball/mouse controller for years (still keep in pocket during sessions) but as I become more skilled with mobile mouse I'll probably just used iPad alone.

Long time user who loves this app. I have used this app for years. It was one of the first apps I downloaded for my iPhone 3G. Many phone upgrades later and iPads later and I am still using this app when ever I need easy control of my media PC. I can not recommend this app enough to anyone needing a easy and inexpensive solution to a traditional keyboard and mouse.

Awesome for computer TV hookup. I use my Mac to watch TV online via HDMI using an extended desktop. This app is perfect for wireless control and now there's no need for wireless keyboard and trackpad. Haven't had any issues at all since getting it about a month ago.

Good app now that it's fixed. When I first bought the app I had some major lag issues when Bluetooth was turned on but it looks like they fixed it...still problem with the windows server tho because it won't work if u have a computer with multiple ip addresses.

Auto-Correct Incorrect. This is a great app with only one problem: when it auto-corrects you, it doesn't auto delete your first word. For example, when I type i, it fixes it. Now what appears on where I typed is this "i I". Please fix this somehow because I am blood type A and a perfectionist. :D

Minor errors but great. I agree with everyone else about the it being rushed and not well thought out, but besides the those minor things it is great. Wait for update! ALSO, the period key on the keyboard is incorrect, when pushed you get a < . Not sure what that is called but I call it an alligator mouth. The keyboard needs tweaks!

Works as it should. This app is very handy for a couple of things. I do not have a blu-ray player but I have a blu-ray reader attached to my mac. So I can play a blu-ray on my mac and stream it to the apple tv, and use this app to control playback. Also, my keyboard just died and this app on my iPad became my only keyboard until I bought a replacement. The customer support is excellent - super responsive!

Works Okay... When it Works. I fine that this app does most, but not all, the Apple touchpad does when it works. Problems are, it will quit on me and it has to be linked every time I open it up. Further, there are a number of moves that work on the Apple touchpad that simply do not work on the app. I would hope that subsequent releases fix these problems.

Amazing. His app works flawlessly for me so far. I love it! If only I had discovered this a month earlier, I would have saved my self $30 on the wireless keyboard system I bought. I have this hooked up the a desktop PC running windows Vista. Definitely worth the investment.

Kina Sorta Okay. Has some nice features, but it needs a bit of work. For example, it can't access pop-ups when installing applications, such as with the User Account Control, so you have to go to the mouse or keyboard connected to the PC. There is also no TAB key (or at least I can't find it) on the keyboard, which would be nice to have readily available. I expect better for $2.99.

This is really cool.... I love it so far... took me a bit to set it up. Software from the Mobile Mouse website had to be downloaded and installed on my Mac first. I bought an expensive remote to use for Front Row, but this seems to have more functionality.

Most used app. My cousin told me about this app a couple years back when it first came out, you know..back when spending a dollar on an app made you pause and weigh the benefits. Suffice to say I've never regretted purchasing this app since I was using the iphone 3g. I've also gotten over my fear of cold cash for digital ether.

Sweet. I'm running A MacMini through a Sony HD TV and man, this Mobile Mouse "is da' bomb"! I used a Mighty Mouse and Apple Bluetooth Keyboard previously but the amount of shuffling and balancing became very tedious. My wish now is for someone to develop a universal unit that works as well as this and can be programmed to control TV, Cable Box, Multimedia Receiver etc. just like my Logitech.

Must have. I use this app nearly every day at home and at work. I'm a science teacher and mobile mouse makes it so I control my computer projection as I move about the room. At home I also have a similar set up where I project from my computer to watch movies, etc. I use mobile mouse to control that from the iPad so I dont have to leave the couch. It's slick!

Wireless without Wi-Fi!!! Yippee. I got it to work without wifi once I downloaded the server pack for the mac. Then you set up internet sharing with airport and make your own network. I love it. Can now use computer at front of room hooked to projector while I am in back controlling it. Wish it would clone the screen though so I have better control of what I am looking at. Great job though.

Won't connect. After hours of searching I couldn't get the iPad to work with this. Although my iPhone works great with this I feel ripped off that I had to pay for another app to use my iPad and then it not work 😤

Perfect!!!. Works great for controlling my Mac Mini as my media player - I have both the iPad & iPhone versions and I have had a great experience! I highly recommend this app. The lite "free" versions worked so well, I paid for the full version and it was one of the best purchases that I have made to date.

Simply the best. Perfect.
