Paperless: Lists + Checklists App Description & Overview

What is paperless: lists + checklists app? Get the app that Macworld says "deserves a spot on your iPhone"!

MAKE LISTS OF ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING

Paperless is a simple but powerful app for making lists. Use it to create to do lists, make grocery lists, take notes, write an outline of a story, prepare notes for a presentation, make a list of gift ideas, plan a vacation... or anything else you'd want to make a list for.

BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED

Assign a fun icon to each of your lists - there are over 450 to choose from. You can also select from 30 themes to customize the app's design to your liking.

SIMPLE AND VERSATILE

Paperless is easy to use with a clean, elegant and well thought out interface. Each list can either be a checklist or a regular list without checkboxes, making a wide variety of uses possible.

REALLY HELPS YOU GET THINGS DONE

For checklists and todo lists, many people prefer using Paperless over traditional "getting things done" apps - or, they use it in addition to one. There are no due dates or priority settings, so you're left to focus on the actual tasks at hand, rather than waste time changing those settings when your priorities change. Instead, if a particular task becomes important, you can simply move it to the top of the list.

AUTOMATIC BACKUP AND SYNCING

Automatically backup your lists and sync them between iOS devices via a free Dropbox account.

POWERFUL FEATURES

- send lists via email, others can import your list into their copy of Paperless
- send a plain text version of a list via iMessage, or copy it into another app
- easily duplicate lists
- manually reorder lists and list items
- sort list items alphabetically
- copy and move items from one list to another
- comprehensive search
- passcode lock

PRAISED BY THE PRESS

"Paperless deserves a spot on your iPhone" - Lex Friedman, Macworld (4.5 out of 5 mice rating)

"Paperless has a permanent spot on the first page of my iPhone's home screen... it will probably earn a similar spot on yours." - Marianne Schultz, AppShopper

"... a good way to ensure things get done at your own pace, free of the disappointment of missing deadlines." - Nick Spence, Macworld UK

"I've been trying many To Do apps since iPhone 1.0 -- from the expensive Things to Toodledo and others -- and I don't use any of them regularly. Most just require too much effort. Paperless is the first one I've found that hits that sweet spot between being simple enough you'll actually use it and powerful enough to be useful." - Marc Zeedar, REALbasic Developer Magazine (4.8 out of 5 rating)

"This is one nice-looking list / task app... As a basic list app, the beautiful Paperless reigns supreme." - Bonnie Eisenman, 148apps.com (4 out of 5 rating)

PRAISED BY USERS

"Best app ever - The most incredibly useful app I've come across. Simple, effective and bloody marvelous!!!"

"The simplicity of the interface and the flexibility given to the user is perfection."

"Simply loved it - Best app I've ever downloaded, my life is so organized now! ..."

"After having tried a good deal of apps to get myself more organized - both free and paid - it is clear that this tops them all. Other apps presented a kind of novelty; I could fool myself into thinking that I was more organized, but it was never long before I abandoned them because it was obvious that they consumed unnecessary time. Paperless, however, has truly helped. It is streamlined, it is simple, it is sumptuous"

Keep coming back. I have ten screens worth of apps (including folders), and have kept looking for a similar app that also has a MacOS version that syncs. And I keep coming back, because this developer hit a sweet spot of usefulness, ease of use, and usability. When you have a lot of apps, you don’t want to go down the re-learning curve if you haven’t used all functions lately. Here’s my point: though I look at lots of apps, I don’t always use editing and other features. This app is so intuitive that using, changing, deleting, updating seems obvious even if I haven’t done some of those functions lately. I recently moved from DropBox to iCloud, and so my only request is that iCloud is supported when syncing. This is the only app I value that does not have an iCloud option. I’ve deleted all other apps that don’t support iCloud. I have nothing against DropBox, but the plan I had increased in price by 25% for features I don’t use. Oh well. Though I paid for this app years ago, I’m adding to the Tip Jar. Because there are too many subscription apps that hope you don’t notice the monthly withdrawals, without offering proportionate features and usefulness.

Best list app, hands down. Hoping for Apple Watch version!. I’ve been using this list app for everything from grocery lists to long term goals. Love it, so easy to use and to organize everything. Love being able to make a list while still being able to add notes to each item in the list. So convenient. Really hoping for an Apple Watch version!!!

Perfect memory tool for forgetful people. I use this app to make up for my forgetfulness. For example, I have a list of things to bring on hikes. It is annoying to be on the trail and realize you forgot the sunscreen. I also use it for packing lists for traveling. I have lists for travel to warm climates and lists for international destinations. I literally use this app everyday. I have dozens of lists. The one enhancement I would like is to have a way to check an item as “not applicable “. I would like to keep an item on the list with a N/A rather than delete it or check it. Deleting it removes it from the list when it may be needed another time. Checking it means it was done or packed. An example is insecticide. I may not need to pack that if I travel to a northern climate, but it may be needed for a tropical destination. I would like to create a master packing list with a N/A category for items not needed for a particular outing. I hope the developers will consider this.

Sort. Can sort the lists themselves but not the document?………..I’m sure that’s of niche use to someone but why not the document itself? Not that every text app on mobile is lacking this feature for god knows what reason, something that’s trivial on pc, but when you are listing it as a feature of your app it should be in more then just organizing the lists that you have made. Will definitely be asking for a refund. Also switching back to text on each new line (I.e. inputing nothing but numbers and have to switch back to letters with every new line) is extremely tedious. Physical paper would do a better job.

This app is a brain-saver. I don’t know how I would manage now if I weren’t able to keep running lists with me all the time. I most frequently use it for grocery lists, but it is also in other areas of life where I need to remember things. (I am a teacher, so I have a lot of lists.) I like that I can have a master list and run down checking off what I need or don’t need, but also able to search and add at the same time. I highly recommend

Favorite app. I love this app. I’ve had it for years. It does just what I need it to. Me LIFE is in this app. The little icons make all the difference. I’ve tried converting to other tools but I keep coming back to the simplicity and ease of use of Paperless. Easy to reorder whole lists or individual items on a list. And look - I just LIKE the little icons. ikiru is NOT the same.

Amazing app for checklists and notes. I’ve used this amazing App for more than 5 years. It’s well supported with updates. I use it for packing check lists, project checklists, Christmas lists, car maintenance, the medications I’m on, and many more. They are shared across two iPhones (with two different users) without any issues. On exception: two people can’t edit the same list at the same time, so for grocery lists we use another program.

FANTASTIC APP!. This app has ALL THE FEATURES to truly organize all your lists, reminders, daily notes, etc. I especially love the built-in sorting and alphabetizing prompts, which made it so easy to format my lists for Birthdays and Anniversaries, and also for Passwords. I also love the extensive list of icons with which to label my specific lists. Most of all, the AUTOMATIC BACK-UP TO DROPBOX AND AUTOMATIC SYNCING WITH MY OTHER DEVICES is truly a life-saver. I am in my mid seventies, and not a "computer techie." When I needed help, and e-mailed the developer, he immediately responded and gave step by step directions to fix what I had inadvertently done in the App. THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the developer!! So to sum it all up- EXCELLENT APP, WELL-DESIGNED WITH GREAT FEATURES!

Tipped!. I’m a VERY visual person, so the colorful, icon rich design of these lists really help me stay organized & engaged with my tasks & notes. I use this app probably more than any other on my phone(!) for everything from silly projects to Must Do tasks. I love it so much I've never been able to switch to any other “to-do” app & trust me I've tried them all. Even tho I wish there was a way to add images & subtasks, this design is Still My Favorite & keeps me coming back. I know the same developer has another app more sophisticated than this one, with features that would be nice to have, but I’m really attached to this design. When it fits, it just…fits, ya know? So it's Paperless for me all the way. I’m very glad to finally have a way to give an additional tip (via latest update) to the developer because I never want this app to fade into the void! I rely on it. Thanks!

Great list App!. I have used Paperless for 2 to 3 years now. It is simple and easy to follow. I like being able to edit the order of my list items, I have several lists for different things that I do during the week. I will create a packing list when I take a trip, and then can delete it if I choose. My only thought and recommendation, would be the ability to add a photo from your camera. Today I wanted to add a pic of the type of eyedrops I use, which would be much simpler, then typing in the name etc. Please update to be able to pull in a photo, and all would be right with the world!

Super awesome app. I love this app !!! I suffered a traumatic brain injury . Now I can’t remember much of anything so staying organized is a very difficult thing to do . This app has changed my life ..... I am able to make organized notes , lists and keep track of tasks . I really like the way I can customize nearly everything the way it works best for me and being able to check off the things that are completed . I use this app for everything in my daily like from groceries , dr appointments , daily chores, home projects... I basically run my life off this app .

Best organizational App ever!. This app is so user friendly and fun to use. I use it constantly every day. Love that you can go back to your grocery list and uncheck items to return to the list. It helps you keep track of what you bought last time and what you need. I honestly don’t know what I would do without this app!

My files just disappeared. I thought this was a great app. I put a lot of data into my story outline and have been collecting it for months. Tonight I opened up the app, clicked on the story outline and just it suddenly disappeared. I was shocked. I had the same thing stored in another iPad. I went to it, opened up the app, saw the story outline and it just disappeared too. To put it lightly, I am not at all happy. Fortunately, I regularly made a pdf and stored it in another app, but it still means that I have to re-key in all the data all over again. Be aware. Don’t you have a reconfirm if somehow delete is selected in the app? And why would delete be selected if I haven’t even been in the app? I sat and re-entered all my data into this crap app and for the SECOND TIME, the whole thing disappeared. What is going on? BEWARE of this app.

Most used app for every day. Thank you for fixing the search box, with the + to add if not on a list. I’ve used Paperless for years and love it, especially for groceries. The only problem I’ve had is no fault of the app or developer. Sometimes I accidentally touch an item to show completed, when it is not. Then, once I get home, I realize I didn’t get said item because I didn’t see it on my list, but remembered adding it. I just need to work on being more careful when showing one item completed and another item next to it is not.

Can’t live without it!!. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app! I have my entire personal cookbook in this app and use it for menu creation. I also use it for my Christmas shopping lists (I have 10 grandchildren) and it helps me remember who got what when so I don’t repeat gifts. My To Do list and my Hubbie’s list too! Too many lists to mention here! The only thing that would make this app better would be the ability to add pictures in the notes section (hint hint!!)

Job well done!. Paperless is a near-perfect note management and all-round personal knowledgebase with a easy-to-use and highly customizable user interface. It’s simplicity makes it extremely flexible and able to adapt to almost any note-taking need I can come up with. It’s honestly hard to think of something I would improve. I just wish there was a web-based version of Paperless that I could run in my web browser on my desktop PC. Oh, and the ability to export my notes to JSON would be nice. Just a thought. I’ve tested the developer’s successor to Paperless named “Ikiru” and I have to say it’s far inferior to Paperless in pretty much every way. I hope the developers don’t have plans of abandoning Paperless anytime soon.

Lost functionality in iOS13. I have a lot of items in some of my lists, so I’m used to searching for an item and if it’s not there, unused to be able to click “+” beside the search box and the item would be added to the list. That has disappeared with a recent update, so now I have to search, cancel the search, click +, then retype my search to add the item. Since my wife keeps deleting items from the list, I either have to replace my wife or my list tool. Please save my marriage and add back the ability to convert a search into a list item.

Used to be great. Now not so much.. I was a loyal paying customer for many years, but I have finally given up. With no more updates and so many buggy little issues, it is obvious that the developer has shelved this app. I have switched to PocketLists and am so glad that I did! Similar “make a list of anything”, but there are more customizing features such as setting reminder alarms. AND the developer is still supporting and updating the app! (And that’s just the free app!) If you had asked me about Paperless 3 years ago, I would have sung its praises. Now, after several months of frustration, I am glad to be walking away.

So useful, easy to use… well designed!—using for 10 yrs+!!. I’ve been using this app for years, through changes and updates…it’s always been great. I’ve tried others with various cool features, but this is the one I always come back to. Need to make lists? This is the best. Use it for groceries, chores, gardening, ideas, notes for stories I might write, etc, etc… and can go back years to see what I’d been doing back then… what might still not have gotten checked off! Love it for groceries— one for each store. Can just uncheck items I usually buy to have an updated shopping list ! Well made, well maintained app that I’m using my for over ten years now!!

Very Useful. I have been using this app for several years and it is very useful. I have lists for specific wholesalers, grocery shopping by specific store, family groups, and even several years of Christmas lists. The only item on my wish list is the ability to alphabetize the main screen that shows all my lists! If the individual list screen can be alphabetized why can’t the main screen?? Please try to update this.

A plea for more. Jim: Paperless is an exceptional app. iCloud support would make it more useful where it can be synced between devices. I have tried your Ikiru app (your other lists app with the option of iCloud support) and it doesn't serve my needs the way Paperless does. The beauty of P+ is that it is clean, simple and easy to use. Dropbox sync worked just fine for a while, but it's become an antiquated standalone option. Your other users mention the need for iCloud support in their reviews. Eventually adding a macOS app would be ideal as I spend a lot of my time in front of a desktop/laptop. iCloud syncing would tie Paperless iOS and macOS apps together to make a complete package.

My FAVORITE and MOST USEFUL of all My apps. I literally use this app and refer to my many, many lists probably 10 times a day! Like others have said, it is front and center in the first page of my apps! I LOVE that I can forward my checklists! I also love that I can edit the order of items in each list, especially helpful for groceries! A huge bonus is that when I complete checklist items, they remain on my “completed” part of the list until I need that item again and I simply uncheck it! Best app ever!!!!

Newest update broke everything. I've been using Paperless for years without any issue until today's (June 6, 2017) update. They completely reconfigured the way DropBox stores the lists so all of my lists suddenly disappeared! Thankfully the DropBox website still had everything saved so once I copied my old files into Paperless's newly created folder (DropBox > Apps > Paperless) everything returned to normal. Total aggravation and frustration for no reason! And if that wasn't annoying enough, Paperless seems to have disabled notification settings so I'm no longer getting the notifications I had set up. Terrible update Paperless, you should have thought this one through...

So handy. I've used this app for a couple years now and as I was just adding something I felt I should give it a glowing review. I use it for so much I can't imagine being without it. I can make notes, jot down misc info, keep track of books by series and author, remember what menu I have planned for a holiday and that's just a few of the things I've done. Whenever I need to remember something I can put on a list, this is my go-to app!

Loved it. Perfect. Good for everything. I’ve used this app since the beginning it seems. The last year or two it has all kinds of printing visible so that I can’t get to my list without first tapping on plus(+) , then it goes to a page where I tap on cancel, then it will clear the main page so that I can access my lists. It’s frustrating to have to do that but it seems this is the best and easiest app for me. Still looking for a new one though but hoping whatever bug I have will go away

Lost a feature recently. I have been using this app as my primary grocery list for at least 3 years now, and loved everything about it, particularly the search feature so I didn’t have to scroll through the full list to find a particular item to uncheck to add it back on the list of items I needed to get. The pervious version allowed me to search for an item, and if it wasn’t already on said list, I could add it right there. In the newer version if the item isn’t already present, I have to X out of the search screen and then add it separately. Not a big deal, I know, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it? It is broken now, so hopefully the developers are working on getting this feature back.

My favorite checklist app. I keep lists for everything related to our RV including packing lists, maintenance lists, to-dos and menus. The lists don’t change much from trip to trip so I needed an app that does reusable checklists. Paperless does it. I love that I can see at a glance how many items remain to be completed on a list with the color coded app icon badges. Plus the list icons help me quickly identify the type of list...I can assign a wrench icon to maintenance lists and a cherry icon to a food list. And when I’m all packed and ready to go I can easily flip through and reset every list for the next trip.

Very handy, easy to use. Still using after 2 years. I like it even more. Confidence in my privacy. I use this for all kinds of lists and memos. Much easier to organize and then sync to my iPad. I keep grocery/shopping lists, movies to see, books to get from the library, lists of registration numbers, vital stats on my car - vin number, air pressure, wiper blade part number etc It's easy because there is no need to use a template or create one. I highly recommend this. Best one I've used.

6+ years and I love it…but would love one feature. If possible it would be super helpful to be able to pin repeat tasks and even lists to the top of lists while still being able to add new items to the top. Maybe even a way to colorize the different lists if so desired. Either way I’m still a user and will continue

Simple, elegant, functional. I love this app! I was looking for a list app that was not tasks and did not make me mess with dates and all that. There are lots of task apps out there with dates and reminders if you want that--this won't do that. This is a simple list maker that allows checklists or just lists and works very well for that. PS don't be cheap and pay for it. You support the developer and have no annoying ads.

Love this app except.... This is by far the best app I’ve found for organizing my life and all the different schedules I need to keep track of it. But I have just one request. Is there any way the developers would consider creating an alert function to remind us when certain projects/chores/bills are due? That would be great! Otherwise, the functionality of this app is beyond comparison!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Great List Maker!. I have tried a lot, and I mean a lot of different list apps. This has blown them all out of the water! You can create lists within lists while still not losing the ability to enter notes with if that list item. I can see my lists on all my devices at all times. I have had no issues since installing this app and have even upgraded my phone and all of my stuff was still there!( a previous list app it all disappeared. I would recommend this app.

My favorite app. I use this app every day! For to do lists, grocery shopping, meal planning, gift list, book list, packing lists, idea lists, it’s useful for so many areas of my life. I’ve tried various other list apps with more specific purposes but I always end up back here. I love the interface and it just works really well. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Essential App for paperless lists!. I loooove this app. Have used it for years and really rely on it. It may be the most used app on my phone. That said, I just tried to link it in to Dropbox so I wouldn’t loose my work and voila..it didn’t work. In fact, I can’t get to my lists now. The app starts up and immediately goes black. I can’t find a way to contact a real person for support. None of the FAQ apply. Please...would the developer or customer support reply to me and let me know how to get help??

Great app. I’ve used this app for several years on my iPhone and it works great for all my lists. My memory isn’t as good anymore, and this really helps keep me organized. My only issue - and it’s a very small one for me - is that it doesn’t sync correctly with my iPad. I managed to get it to sync once, although it merged several of my lists when I did, but then it wouldn’t sync to the iPad again after I made several changes on the iPhone. The only way I’ve found to keep the devices synced is to make a backup of the latest changes and email it, then open the email and download the backup to the other device. It works, but it’s klugey.

Handy and simple. This little app has modest ambitions, but fulfills them very well. You can make lists of anything you can type, give the lists titles, and use the lists for checking off things. I use it mainly for checklists, reminding me of things to do before travel and of things to take on trips. Once you have checked things off, you can, with just one tap, uncheck all the items. Another tap sorts the unsorted list back into alphabetical order. You can put commentary text on each item in your list, too. I have a list of the states of Mexico, so when I see a license plate I can annotate each state with the date seen. Simple, silly, but fun. The only suggestion I have is that it could use a folder structure so I could put the lists into categories like Travel, Fun, and the like. Not a game changer, though.

Almost the best list.... I've loved lists all my life. But, they all fell short until this one. Versatile, informative, and simple to use. That's what I like. But, I can’t believe that for an app that makes organization its function, I can’t believe that the ability to alphabetize doesn’t extend to the second tier. I use this for so many functions, but the best by far has been my weekly shopping list. Once my list is made, I can share it with my family to be sure they pick up exactly what’s needed. But, while the Item Name can be organized from A-Z, the Notes information doesn’t get the same chance at proper organization. I can only wish and dream that one day, I’ll click a button and my list will be perfectly organized. But, hey! A boy can dream.

It's great. Correction! Are used to think it was great, until it asked me to re-link with dropbox and lost all of my list that I've been making over the past three years and rely heavily upon. I can't find any way to get it back from dropbox, assuming it's even there. Apparently you can back it up to there, but there's no apparent way to get it back. So for now, forget the glowing praise that I wrote before: I use it for absolutely everything from phone numbers and other actual lists to storing reference information. Which makes me wish that it had the ability to store graphic files, and have live Internet links. That would make it nearly perfect as far as I'm concerned. About the only list I don't use it for is my to do list, as I use a dedicated app for that. But everything else I can think of, yes.

Love this app!. I use lots of “to do” lists and this is perfect. I use it for packing lists, grocery lists, to do lists, reminders, etc. I use it almost every day. I wish it had a way to tag items on a list, like a grocery store aisle #, so I could sort items by aisle to make shopping easier. I’m disabled and can’t spare the energy to miss something on my list and go walk for it, and a way to add a price to the grocery list too (to tally up my list). I know there’s apps for grocery lists, but I love this app too much to give it up yet. :) Kudos to the developer!!

I am so happy!. I had a simple list maker that was perfect for me for years. You could make multiple lists, check items off, edit, delete, resort, etc. Checked items moved to the bottom. You could email yourself the list (text only). It had a obviously been someone's foray into app creation, and was free and no longer supported by iOS and I was panicking about losing my lists. I tried so many of them but they were not the simple list maker I wanted and needed. I finally found this app yesterday, and am so happy that all the functionality (and more) are working as I needed. I was even able to set it up on my iPad and send the lists via email to myself and import the lists to the app on my iPad. Didn't even need Dropbox! I love, love, love it!

Great App but would love some additions. I’ve been using this app for many years and love the ease of it. I also like how customizable it is with color themes and icon choices for each list. However, I’d love to see even more icon choices added and maybe even different font choices as well. Although this app provides more icons than others, I always seem to want even more variety and choices. I don’t think there’s ever been updates or improvements to include additional icons and fonts and that would be the icing on the cake for me!

Without Dropbox I guess it still works with email?. I have no use for Dropbox anymore but the lists appear to save to email? Not sure it’s the same but I sure wish it could sync to my iCloud. True that in retirement I use Paperless mostly for grocery and gift and wish lists, but when I was working I used it to list speaking notes for presentations and job interviews. How much more handy than stacks of paper, especially when your talking points are about technology. 👍 Still wish I could choose somewhere other than Dropbox for backup, like iCloud.

Favorite Listmaker. I’ve tried out a ton of checklist apps, but this still remains my favorite to date, as it’s just so no frills and visually pleasing with all the little icons. I do wish it had sublists, but I guess sublists would also complicate the app, and I love how streamlined it is. No reminders, no dates/times, no embedded photos, etcetc- just a simple, no frills list maker. Hope the developer eventually has time to create an iOS14 widgets for this app! Would love to have Paperless more featured on the home screen.

All I Need In 1 Place. This is my go-to app for simple lists, routines, and projects. It allows for task with no notes, errands, and projects that cover long periods of time. I appreciate the ability to create one list and reusing it again and again with out having to recreate it. And - the ability to copy and move entries from one list to another allows ke to create a TODAY list so I can focus on the priorities, tasks, and event today without additional clutter.

What it does do, it does with 100% perfection. OK, so it does not do everything that an app like this might do. But what it does do, it does with 100% perfection. I have used it for years, primarily for packing lists shopping lists and simple to do lists. For reminders, attaching photos, and other more advanced features I use the iOS built-in reminders app. But for simple, easy to use checklists, this beats the built-in Reminders app hands-down. I like it so much I just tipped the developer $10.

Great app to help me get things done. I have been using this app for years and it helps me in so many areas, below are some examples. - managed small home projects...what I need, sequence the items, keep track of sub tasks for each major task. - keep shopping list for home improvement store. - I keep Christmas list for my family. When I hear of something they might like I put in my list under their name. As I get close to Christmas or find a sale I can make the purchase. - camping list - things to do to my home before I leave on an extended trip. I can upgrade the list and tailor it for every trip - when I travel outside my country I keep a list of terms I hear in the country I visit. I also keep a list of places that people recommend I visit. - keep my home improvement project list. - I keep a running list of book I would like to read. I then buy them when I am ready. I have some lists that I have been using for five years. What is nice about it is I can sync it with my iPad so whichever I use the other gets updated. It is a great app and the best one of its kind.

Love it. I have had this app for years and prefer it over the standard “notes” app on iPhones. I like that it’s not complicated to use. I do use trello and Asana for some things when I need more functionality, but I use paperless way more often...pretty much daily. The only thing I would LOVE is to be able to sort the list by “last used.” It would be so handy for the lists I use the most to stay towards the top. The search bar works great, and of course, I can manually edit/arrange the lists, but as I add new lists, I would have to keep rearranging. Not a huge deal, but it would be amazing!

Paperless App stellar performance,. I have had this app for several years and highly recommend it. The tremendous choice of icons and colors enables me to taylor my specific lists to my needs so I can find what I am looking for instantly. The app enables me to create lists and also provides the ability to keep extensive notes under each task and category. It also enables me to alphabetize each category/task and keep active and completed tasks as long as I want for future reference. It is the most versatile of any list app i have tried.

Dean1157. Fantastic! I have used many list managers and this one works perfect and is so simple. Love the ordering/reordering, the badges, everything. Used Zenbe, they disappeared. Used Wunderlist, their web syncing was junk and way to many problems that they are aware of but just don't fix. This one really has everything you will need. Asked many times for desktop version to no avail. That is the only reason I am still searching for the perfect app

Worked until it didn’t! Got no support.. I have used this app for many years. It has been limited compared to other apps out there but the simplicity of it was an immediate draw. I got a lot of use out of it. However, the week before Christmas I decided to clean up my lists on the app. After an hour of doing this, the app froze. I was not able to back it up or anything. If you use this app make sure you back it up regularly. I hadn’t done it since the summer. I have tried reaching out to support twice by email and got no response. I was patient because it was Christmas time, but now in mid January I have run out of time and patience. I have tried to get it to unfreeze but it will only let me click one time and then freezes. It’s very disappointing and now has caused me to have no other choice but to look at other apps.

Beat list app!. This is a great app, simple and does the job. I would like to be blue to create sub lists though, like a list within a list. That would be handy, and perhaps the option to be able to add a column where you could write for example a price (such as when creating a Christmas present list) so you can keep track of the cost of the items on your list.

I'd give it a 5th star if they'd fix syncing. Absolutely fantastic app, the only minor gripe I have is with syncing. After making up a bunch of lists for a trip overseas on the iPad, I decided to sync them to the iPhone. Installed the app and setup syncing first on the iPad, then on the iPhone but nothing sync'd. Foolishly (in hindsight) I added a list to the iPhone, which then overwrote all the lists I'd created on the iPad. It's a minor annoyance, but still not how I've come to expect syncing to work. Would've been nice to get a confirmation asking me to merge, overwrite local or overwrite drop box rather than blowing away local data.

Easy to use and great interface but no alarms!. One of the neatest looking listing tools I've come across. Would love for it to be able to do alarms, would be willing to pay more if it did. Also, would be nice if you could import other users' lists instead of just emailing them and also import the lists you create in paperless lite to the full version as I now need to redo them!

This changes lives. Having all my lists for work and home together in one place and accessible at all times makes life easier everyday. I have an idea for a gift for a friend - it goes on my Gifts list. What do I need from the hardware store? Check the Shopping list. I think of something I need to tell a colleague - on the Meetings list. It's simple and brilliant.

So far, So good. I've tried a few To Do type apps, and there's no shortage of choice in this department. Some are very basic, others incredibly complex. I've found this app to be, as Baby Bear would say, just right. I pretty much just want a list that I can enter things into quickly and simply, and then mark them as done when the time comes. This app allows me a little more in that I can have event or subject specific lists, like Travel or Birthdays, and enter my specific To Do's under their respective headings. It's clean, quick and simple, and does what I need it To Do.

Great app for organising lists. This app is very useful and provides what I have been looking for to organise my list and include options for checklist, notes and syncing between devices. However, it doesn't seem to include options for setting reminders which would be very useful. In general, the best app of this kind that I have found.

Where did it go?. I’ve used this app for a few years and love it. So much information at my finger tips was brilliant. My problem now though, is I bought a new iPhone, was assured that everything would simply move from the old to the new phone. It did, mostly, but nothing from this app moved across including the app. It even wiped off of my iPad which doesn’t have a sim! So, if anyone can tell me how to retrieve the stack of information I would be forever grateful.

Awesome App. I love this app! I have the worst memory and this app allows me to keep and easily manage lists of things I want to do, want to buy, wish lists, places i want to go one day, idea's, gift ideas etc, etc. I can create a list or add to it whenever I want and all my lists are with me all the time so I can pull up the info wherever I am. Ever found yourself trying to think of those things you want to do when you had a day to yourself, only to get that day and can't remember those things! Ever had a great idea only to forget it when you had time to act on it! Ever found yourself in a shop you didn't expect to be in and remember that there was something you said you would get next time you were there only to find that you are there but can't remember what that thing was! This app is for you! Love it!

Australian. Just brilliant. I use approx 5 times a day for over 2 years and have bottom right on my home screen. I use to 'catch' ideas and actions that flick into my mind when I am out and about. Great stress reliever as you know you will get to it and won't forget. After trying lots of category types, I use about 5 key ones based on where I will be when I can action the task (office, home, computer etc). Then when I'm at that location I just have a quick scroll through that category. Then I have a category for ideas. This has let to some great holidays and events - normally would have been flashing thoughts long forgotten. All up - brilliant !

Simple and elegant to-do list manager. I spent hours sifting through to-do list apps, and almost purchased a more complex (and more expensive!) app before finding this little gem. First of all, what this app is not… If you're looking for something to manage appointments and time-critical deadlines, this is not it. There are no special fields for entering due dates or specifying priorities, etc. This app takes a much simpler approach… more akin to your traditional to-do list. Simply move the higher priority tasks (those you want to tackle first) towards the top of each list. The user interface is probably the nicest of all the apps I looked at too. A lot of attention to detail has gone into creating a beautiful library of icons which you can apply to your lists. Some features I'd like to see added in a future version are (1) syncing/sharing of lists with the Mac and with other iPod/iPhone users, and (2) the ability to create sub-lists (breaking down a single task into various sub-tasks). In the meantime, you can email list data to yourself or others, and you can use the notes feature to record information about each task. The developer responded to my comments on a forum by saying he wants to add syncing and sharing features eventually, and he's considering adding sub-lists but his main concern seems to be keeping the user interface simple and usable.

Smart, practical, simple, flexible. Love and use every day. After trying other 'list' apps , paperless finally does everything I need. Simple, quick, flexible, without annoying 'bells and whistles'. Agree with other reviewer more parent based icons could be added-children, school, books, classes. Would love a simple budgeting paperless- item, amount, total- for mini budgets in checklist form. Thanks to the creator. You have worked hard to make this app user friendly.

Easy and practical. Have purchased and tested many To Do type Apps . Most are variations of each other. This App - Paperless - has been very well created by Crush Apps.I used the lite version and within days it was not a difficult decision to purchase the full version. It is so practical and easy to use. I was impressed with the support with the speed with which he responded to and email question I sent to Crush Apps.

I love this app!. I am able to get everything I need done in a limited time without forgetting anything. It would be great to be able to tap and drag items and lists around to change the order more easily.

fab app. If you're a list person like me you will LOVE this app. Exactly what I needed for keeping all my lists in one place, simple and easy to use. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a tool to check things off their many to do lists. Very happy tx :)

Simple and effective. Great app that is simple to use, and easy to back up. Awesome. I use it all the time to keep my life organised.

Stopped Working Properly. As from iOS 11.1.2 (and still with iOS 11.2) the “Star” feature and the ability to edit the order of lists has disappeared from the iPad version of Paperless, thought it still remains on the iPhone version.

Don't know how I'd cope without it. I've been using this app for several years. I rely on it and use it on phone and tablet for many different purposes: lists, information, instructions, scheduling, notes .... I particularly like the ability to check items as completed (and to uncheck them, too), to order items easily, and to copy and move to another list. It may not have all the bells and whistles but that makes it easy to adapt and customize. It has a colourful interface which is both pleasant and functional. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Great app for me!. I am a tradie and have always used notes in my phone to write down the tools and materials I need for the next day. With paperless I have two lists, one for tools and one for materials. Now I scroll down through the lists and just tick them on and tick them off. No need to type everything out unless it's something out of the usual. An added bonus is while scrolling through my list I am prompted to tick things on that I would have otherwise forgot.

Love this app and rely on it. I’ve been using it for years. I have about 20 lists for everything from shopping, to dreams & goals, to holiday packing, to meal ideas. It’s easy to use and I like the symbols and pic-art, which help with visual organising.

Fantastic. I use this app in so many ways. I have lists for travelling, when I leave a hotel, so I don't forget anything, a list when travelling to the beachhouse when I don't need to pack a suitcase, keeping a diary when travelling ( so easy) and other day to day reminders. All in one app. Amazing. And it is so easy to use.

Brilliant!. Fast, simple, easy to use and nice looking to boot! I just needed a quick way create categories of checklist items, tried a dozen or so others before coming across this one. Paperless is by far the quickest and most useful - doesn't get in my way by trying to be too clever... Highly recommended!

Perfect! Esp. for eternal list writers. I absolutely LOVE this app! I use it for everything under sun - from budgets, to birthdays, to holiday plans, to lists of songs that I want and bands that I want to see. The pictures that you can assign to the lists is a great touch. There are also different backgrounds - so you can personalise it. But most of all, it's main selling feature is its exceptional usability.

Just Superb!!!. This application is just superb. After trying many list apps, this one is by far the best. The user interface is classy and so easy to use. The icons are perfect. This application has allowed me to professionalize my lists. Thank you so much and keep up the great work....worth every cent!

Simple, easy, brilliant. The best lists app I have found. Has helped me organise my life into several lists. An essential new feature would be the option to add images to the lists or notes sections (as images can be a powerful motivation tool). Also, the option to set "daily" checklists that reset all checked items at the start of a new day (or at a specified time) would be very helpful.

Great App. I use this app from writing grocery lists, daily to do chores, and even cleaning and home maintenance tasks. It is really easy to use and I love the icons that you can attach to a list. It syncs wonderfully between iPad and iPhone so is also great for just jotting down notes. It's always hard to know if there are better list management apps out there (can't try them all!) but I am very happy with this one.

Wow! The best of them all.. Paperless epitomizes everything (well, almost) I want and need in a lists app. I have bought and tried a few, but not one is anywhere near as good. Had I known Paperless was around, I wouldn't have put up with my old app which had become even more demented lately and had become "forgetful" (maybe due to old age).

One of my most used Apps!. Love it 😊

Very handy, could be more intuitive. Bought this app weeks ago and it has proven more and more useful! Clean layout enables easy sorting and readability, but sometimes I just with it were a bit more predictive and flexible with what you could do with it. Still, a great app, perfect for those wanting to remain organized.

Thought I had lost it. The latest update had a new way of syncing the data. It caused me to lose all my lists (and I have 24 of them) and for a moment I felt very naked and exposed - after all, I've been using Paperless seamlessly in my life for over five years. But a simple sync instruction and my life as I knew it was restored. What a relief! I couldn't imagine my life without it.

One of my favourite apps.. Simple to use, this app helps me keep track of all the little things I used to scribble on bits of paper, to do lists, shopping lists, product regos etc. Have used it frequently, often daily, for a couple of years now. Very happy with it and highly recommend it.

Just a bit too simple. Nice interface and the sync via Dropbox works well, but I really like to be able to split my lists into sections and this won't do it. For example, to split shopping list into deli / veggies / supermarket, or split packing list into clothes / equipment / entertainment. With its indented lists, Toodledo can achieve this, but otherwise the interface is much less appealing. 'Categories' would be another way to achieve this and either would make it a 5* app for me...

Great note app. This app works very well for keeping notes and throw away lists. In this respect it has all the right features - search, task lists, icons in the list view with a useful preview, ordering, ability to mail a note or list (nicely formatted), etc. The UI is very simple and is attractive. Thumbs up there. The one feature this app is missing is the ability to sync - with anything - the notes are stuck on your iPhone unless you mail them to yourself. This is a huge limitation and the only thing stopping me awarding 5 stars.

Great, but!. I think everything should be alphabetically

Great app, worth the price easily. Superb app, easy to use and looks good. Brilliant features, incl. quick delete, nice icons, ability to email lists, move items around and more. I used the lite version first and then bought the full version after trying out about 4-5 other list-making apps. The others weren't as streamlined as this.

4.5 star list app. This is a very good list app with a beautifully designed user interface. I use this app every day. There are a few things I'd love to see in future updates that would make this app perfect: the ability to add a due date with a reminder; the ability to include photos/images in the note area; and the ability to create another level of sub-lists.

Great app for organising!!. I find myself writing so many lists for many different aspects of my life that, on finding this app, I have made my life easier! It's helpful that it saves all my completed tasks so when they are required again I can uncheck them, and I can have many different subjects! EPIC!

The latest update crashes the ap after 2 seconds!. I've been using paperless for years to manage my to-do list. This latest update crashes the ap 2 seconds after opening it!

The only decent list app out there. Have been using this for years and love it so much, quick and easy and highly adaptable

Wonderful. Love it! Have been using it for a while now - and I absolutely love it's simplicity. No, it doesn't have alarms or a calendar or an animated martian that jumps off the screen and slaps you in the face if you forget to do something. Because it doesn't need these things! I've tried the all-in-one apps that have the calendar and the list and the alarm and these apps certainly have their uses, but when I want nothing more than a simple list, paperless is definitely the number one choice. I do agree with a previous reviewer who asked for sublists though, for me this is the only way paperless could be improved, as I have countless lists now and would like to organise them a little better. But am still extremely happy with the app without it.

Ideal. I've been using iOS notes for 2 years, and it still has a place on my phone for long tranches of text, easy to hand and editable on my Mac. All the other things I used to use it for are now done in Paperless, and it does it much, much better. The user interface is simple and very clear; lists can be created quickly and easily, then edited and fiddled with when you find the time. I trust Paperless with my list-centric life, and it doesn't let me down. The developer is responsive, polite and knowledgable. Well Done!

Awesome. This app has the simple functionality that makes it fully adaptable for my needs. I use it for every type of list: shopping, packing, todo, today/soon/someday, finances, processes, etc.. The checkbox ticking is perfect, and you can turn it off for lists where it's not relevant. I've tried quite a few of these apps and this suits me perfectly, all the others had clever functionality that put the app in control instead of me.

Simple, practical, and robust: Great App!. After trying many other to do list apps- I have kept this one for several reasons: It is userfriendly, stable and looks great! It is a dateless list app, which at first I was somewhat apprehensive about, but it has proven to be one of my fave and most used apps! CrushApp-Team, if you could add a feature to include a pic or link (web or phonebook) into an entry I could give it 6 stars!. And I love the Icons...

Simple, elegant and friendly checklists. I love checklists. For me, checklists are a key to being organised from day to day. Where Apple’s “Reminders” gives me one-shot to do lists, Paperless gives me checklists. The important difference is that checklists are for things I have to do repeatably, such as packing a bag for interstate travel: I was sick of always forgetting something so I wrote a checklist. The interface makes creating and maintaining checklists really simple. The sync through Dropbox makes Paperless consistent between iPhone and iPad. I *want* to do things because Paperless makes checklists fun. Well, not mind numbingly boring at least! My only complaint is that there isn’t a macOS app to complete the ecosystem.

Love love this app!. Been using paperless for years now and do love it! I have the paid version and have standing lists for travel, groceries, goals etc. It is the best ‘list’ app going around! A couple of upgrades I’d like to see are: - shared lists (as my hubby uses the app also but can only text me the list so I can’t check things off) - sending lists between uses - improve menu on the bottom of the screen, sorting A-Z is too close to the uncheck all and has caused me a few headaches when using the app.

Beautiful & functional 👍. I need a checklist app to use throughout the day and this one is a pleasure to use! It's standout feature is its beautiful, crisp and clean appearance. Clearly a lot of work has gone into the app's design. It offers a generous number of well designed icons and a palette of beautiful background themes. Aside from its aesthetic appearance it has also been designed to be very easy to use — a winning combination. Highly recommended! 😊

Best app to keep your to do list. I have used this great app for many years to help me keep on top of tasks. Can’t recommend it highly enough, get it and use it!

Very useful!. I love this app- only one gripe is when creating a new list all the icons are in a list- it would be easier and quicker if they were all just on a page without the names so you could see them all at once. Otherwise, its great.

Best App by far. Simple easy efficient backup Tried and tested I use this app for so many things HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The Best and Easiest To do App to use!!. I have downloaded so many todo apps that were a waste of time... it took me more time to put in the info than it actually took me to do the task. That is were Paperless is different so easy to use and easy to view as well... A very well thought out app well done... just can wait for a sync to your computer options, but i have read it is on it way... purchase the full version you wont be sorry :)

Love Paperless and Ikiru sounds amazing but I have a question.... I’ve used Paperless for years but considering Ikiru, however I’d like to know if it’s possible to migrate lists over from Paperless.

Love this app. I've been using this app daily now for years. Love love love it.

Fantastic for Packing Lists. The ability to create a permanent list, organize it, add notes, check things off that “disappear below the line”, and then refresh the list for next time is superb. Every time I forget something, I add it to the list and never forget it again. And I have many lists: - travel - camping - triathlons - skiing - hiking - etc. I looked at all of them in detail, tried most, and this is the very very best.

Love this!. Only complaint would be that they need to make the app accessible via Apple Watch!

Great app. I love this app, please add the option to add photos and it will be perfect. 😊😊😊

Great App. Awesome!

Perhaps the most useful app on my iPhone!. After having used numerous PalmOS devices over the past 15 years I recently (reluctantly) transitioned to an iPhone 4. In order to facilitate the switch to a new platform I read reviews of well over 1000 apps and personally tried out (and often quickly deleted!) more apps than I care to remember. I currently have approximately 350 apps on my iPhone but only use 100 or so on a regular basis. Of the apps that I've seen, only 50 or so were truly impressive: SoundHound, Evernote, Poynt, Atomic Web, Siri, Dragon Dictation, Week Calendar, miCal, Delivery Status, Pandora, Bump, Urbanspoon, iNet, FlightBoard, TuneIn Radio, Skype, HeyTell, NanoStudio, Angry Birds, AutoStitch and FlightTrack Pro are some examples of those 50 apps that have quickly managed to transform mobile computing for me. Paperless is easily one of the most useful apps that is currently available in the App Store. Everything from the clean, uncluttered user interface to the ability to easily email or back up lists, to the speed with which I'm able to access and create lists is as close to being perfect as any organizing/list app that I've ever seen. Most of the other list and To Do apps that I've tried fail by being either far too complicated to use on a regular basis or else by lacking essential features. Paperless is unique in that it provides simplicity, speed and power. A nice bonus is that it's even aesthetically pleasing! I wish more people knew about this app - I tell everyone I know who uses iPhones or iPod Touches about it. Hopefully Apple will eventually feature it on the main page of their App Store. I've installed countless apps over the years and Paperless is definitely one of my all-time favorites. It has effectively replaced one of the best PalmOS apps I had relied on previously: HandyShopper. (Now I just need to have DateBk 6 ported to the iPhone OS - Week Calendar and miCal are nice but neither comes close to the absolute brilliance of DateBk 6.) I'd like to thank the Paperless developer for creating such a well designed app. Paperless combines the power of the iPhone with the simplicity and intuitive design of the best of PalmOS. Well done! (I just hope that the developer will resist the temptation to add a lot of new “fluff” features that end up cluttering what is now a near-perfect app.)

Love but….. I use this app ALL the time!!!! The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to add photos to a list item!!!

Just what I needed!. I'm an inventor, teacher, course creator. I used to wake up with ideas, or just have them pop into my head during the day and scramble for a piece of paper and something to write them out on. Paperless lets me do that in much better ways. Love it!

Love it!. It does exactly what it's supposed to: create lists simply and allows you to organize the content as you would like. I love that you can check and unchecked the items on your list so that you can continue to use the same list (a daily to-do task list or grocery list) over and over again! So glad I invested in this app!

Great for productivity!. I kid you not, I access this app more than a hundred times a day. My whole life is organized thanks to this app: I consult my to-do list and update it constantly. Handy features include options to backup the lists (Dropbox and self email), and there are cute little icons to illustrate each list. I really like this app. Highly recommended!

Great App. Easy to use, great interface, love this app.

New glitches. I’ve used this app continuously for 8 years, and it’s really good, but there’s a couple new glitches that could be fixed. When you click on something far down in your list, it’ll jump back up to the top and it refreshes every time I leave the app so I lose my place

excellent app, but .... my wife and i use this app all the time to do shopping lists. works great, but could really use a list merge feature.

User. Awesome!! Best list app out there

Superb!. I've tried a lot of note taking apps and this one is phenomenal!

Love this app. Great for shopping lists for stuff I buy again and again. I also use it for customer lists like tax returns that I can restore each year plus Christmas to do list, packing lists, information, movies I’d like to see,... Then I can send the list to my email if I want to use it in other software.

Just the app I was looking for. I recently downloaded the lite version to check out the app. I'm glad that the developer provided a free version for users to see if this app is what they're looking for. Within 24 hrs of downloading the lite version, I bought the full version for the syncing feature and ability to make endless lists. It is a very simple yet powerful app. I like that I can choose to either make a list with checkboxes or just simple notes. This is the app that I've been looking for - no reminder feature and not complicated to use. I told my friend about it and she did the same as me - bought the lite version to try it out and bought the ful version within 24 hrs. Thank you for making this app!

Perfect. I’ve been using this App for years, more than any other App on my iPhone! I could not live without it 😄

Best List App I've Ever Used. As a busy single mom, I have tried many many list apps and none of them have quite suited me. Either they had too many features or not enough. Too difficult to customize or annoying. I inevitably stop using the apps and they become useless. I tried the free version of this for awhile and found I really liked how basic and straight forward it was. My priorities were easy to make clear and it was easy to organize and even customize a bit. I finally purchased it because I found I was wanting to use it for more and more. The absolutely only thing I'd add is perhaps a reminder feature to make a sound and show a banner if there's something important. Right now I need to use my calendar for that. I have a bad habit of ignoring badges so they're of no use to me. Altogether very happy with my purchase and I recommend this app!

The Best Shopping List APP Out There. I have looked at different shopping list APPS, and keep looking to see if there is a better one out there. I love the APP and have not found a better one.

The best app for lists!. Being a list-freak, i've tried a lot of apps of this type... I always come back to Paperless. Simple but effective, nice graphics... LOVE IT!

Simple and clean. Great app! Stable, clean and easy to use.

intuitive and awesome. fun way to stay organized and keep track of everything!

Would be great to link on devices. Unless I just haven’t found how, it would be great to have this app linked on more than one device so I can add to it when I’m on my iPad. Aside from that it works great. I’ve been using this app for years.

What I wanted!. This is a great tool to help me get organized! What I especially like is that I can email my lists right out of the app. Only thing missing (or perhaps I haven't found it yet) is an option to sort alphabetically within a list. Still, not something I'd drop my rating for!

Looooove... but please. Have used this for ages, love it - but please bring back the + to the search so if something doesn’t come up in search I can one-click add it. That was such a great feature before. Also love personalizing the lists with icons and the backup options. GREAT APP.

Great app!. Love this app, only thing that would make it better is the ability to make a list within a list

Almost great. Could be excellent, but copy function copies a bunch of irrelevant boxes and separator lines. I just want a text list! Just text! Otherwise pretty good.

Fantastic! Easy to learn and use, easy to read, etc. Loved it, bought it, used for a few years, still love it. (I'm just slow getting to the writing of reviews.) I have a calendar app with very detailed LIST functions but I just wanted a simple checklist, as if it's a Post-It note. This is it!

Love it my most used app. It's probably one of my most used app I love it. It's got everything you need to stay organized and it is easy to use. I love the advanced options to import export replicate list option and create a list from text. If there were 3 things that would make this already fantastic app better it would be 1 embed photos 2 make multi nested lists 3. Add due dates/reminders

Add 2 features!!!. Please add in number QUANTITIES item features in the next update!! I constantly have to type in the same list items over and over. A simple tool would be to add a plus or minus the items. I donated a big tip to the developer to work on my request in the future updates! Keep up the great work!!!!

Great app but could use some improvements. I love this app and use it daily. The only things that would be helpful would be to: 1. Be able to move the lists around on the main page to choose the order in which they appear. 2. Be able to edit the title and icon of your list once it’s been created.

Stop erasing my notes. Otherwise a great app. Love using this app to write any note especially notes for story ideas. The only problem is sometime if i write a really long note like research or names for characters i hit done and leave the app when i get back half of what i write disappears. If you could implement a save icon or something to indicate that it saved that would be great otherwise i write important stuff on a different app. Its still a good app and helps with organization of your notes just dont write a novel in it unless you have a backup or positive it saved. Ill give 5 stars if you fix the “save” problem

The best way to organize my life!. I absolutely love this app. I use it for everything from grocery lists, packing list, menus for special meals, to notes during appointments or meetings and just plain to do lists. I love the coloured icons that easily identify each list. I also love the check marks that allow the item to drop off so you know you’re done when all the items are checked. Then start again next time, like a grocery list. I often recommend this app.

So much Better than Paper!. This is my "Go to" app for any list or project. Love how easy it is to prioritize and change positions of items in a list. Got a couple of friends at work converted when they saw my Paperless shopping lists. Small suggestion to add photos to items to help with unique articles of purchase. Great job in saving paper!

Issue with syncing. Been using it for years and it’s just what I need. Unfortunately, syncing between devices has not been working as well as it used to lately.

Problems updating lists. I used to love this app but lately some of f my lists won’t update. I juts see a spinning wheel but can’t see my list. If this is not fixed will have to find another app

I like it!. If an app finds a spot on the home page you know it’s good. I can’t live without it now. If I could ask for one improvement, I would like to tap, hold, and drag to move items and personalize the order of the list!

Generally Happy. I have been using this app for everyday list items. I like it as it's easy to read and carry around in grocery and other stores. Printing is also an option. Individual lists can be sorted. Please add that feature to main lists.

PLEASE!! From a compulsive Listmaker review: PLEASE UPDATE. I have too many lists on too many list apps in too many formats and I am looking for reasons to keep the ones I have and merge some to downsize. I love the concept Paperless. You did a brilliant job with the archetypes of your app. Your impressive prototype needs your attention now though. !!A NEW VERSION IS REQUIRED VIA AUTO iOS UPDATES!! Account and profile - while ensuring all existing Lists will be preserved and will copy over to the new Version. ‘Accept or Decline’ agreement for compliance requirements. Save to CLOUD etc. You have to keep up with current iOS to maximize Paperless’s full potential. You created a great product - please don’t disrespect it or it will end up in the black Hole that is Cyberspace and many more than just me will miss it when we have to delete it!

Great App. Downloaded 4-5 before I landed on this one. Started with Lit and paid for upgrade. Love it's simplicity.

Great app.... I love this app & have recommended it to others. I use this app daily! I would love it if in synced with the Apple Watch. Only other improvement I can think of is to add the option to do lists within a list (with the ability to check those items off too)...

Business owner. Have had this app for many many years. It’s flawless and syncs between all my devices and my employees devices... truly a game changer and well deserved 5 stars.

Love this app. I love this app...please make accessible to Apple Watch❤️

Love this app!. I have been using this app for many years now, and couldn’t get along without it. The only change I would like is it being made available for Apple Watch! Thank you for keeping this app simple and easy to use.

EVERY SINGLE DAY. I've had this app for years and I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. It might be because I'm a teacher? Or maybe because I'm a mom? Nope, it's because I'm human and have a million lists in my head! Now I have them on my phone and can rest just a little easier knowing I won't forget something! Thanks Paperless! 2 suggestions: pictures in my lists, and lists in my lists! :)

Apple Watch version please!. Could not live without this app, I rely on it for everything.

Lost my lists on lite version. I was so happy with the lite version that I bought the upgrade. Then I open the new version and all the lists I created in the lite version disappeared. I'm very disappointed.

Handy & Intuitive. Paperless & Ikiru are both pretty easy to use. It’s kinda fun taking nested lists to the next level in Ikiru and Paperless is my go-to app for all sorts of daily activities.

Great app. Easy to use! There are several enhancements that would make this an incredible app.

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Tip jar. I’m actually glad you added the tip jar. I’ve always wondered how I could support someone I thought was doing great work without the hassle of Paypal, etc. Updates are cool, but people’s time ain’t free (even when they enjoy what they’re doing). Small devs take note!

I use this DAILY. A+++. Seriously a part of my every day life!! Easy to use and is my fav go-to list. I make new ones constantly. Keeps me organized and on track. Thank you soooo much for making this!!

Love the app, please add Siri Search. I have used this app for at least 2 years and I love most things about it (sync between devices, ease of use, ability to share lists, etc.). If only I could search for items on my lists using Siri!! If I want to find a reference to ‘rose’ on my phone, I have to search within Paperless separately, which is a pain. Please consider adding this feature!

My favorite App. I use this app every day. I use it for my grocery list, when my bills are due, Christmas lists, to do lists. I even List what I serve at parties so I can easily look back. I have always made lists and could never find them when I needed. Have had this app for 4 years and love it!

Love to use on my iPhoe when I shop because it keeps me from impulse shopping. Just follow your list and sort it by store then group by aisles then you will see a big difference in savings and time. Butrigt now I am having trouble sinking between iPad and iPhone. It will not update from Pad to iPhone like it used to and I have used this ap for years.

Paperless is an awesome compilation of all my lists!. Lists: I love organization! Lists of groceries, medicines I take, to do lists, my bucket list, concerts I’ve seen, dinner ideas...name it, you can list it! Make it a check list, add an icon that describes the list, or not. Change colors too! Wish they would allow me to alphabetize my list of lists, and add some more icons! It’s a free app, worth every penny!!! And, you can add notes to everything you list! Love this app!

Needs Apple Watch feature. Update: everything I said below still holes. However, this app would also greatly benefit from having an Apple Watch app. How great would it be if I could be at the store and check out things on my list from my watch! This app would be great if you could import lists from other sources, such as a Word doc or Excel spreadsheet. It would also be nice if you could take a picture of a list and convert it to a checklist. Both of these functions seem like they would be easy to incorporate.

My Personal Assistant. I organize my life with this app. I have lists for daily, grocery lists, long term projects, Target-runs, etc. Gift giving during Holidays? Check them off and see your progress. And you don’t lose the list. Unless you lose your phone....

Love this App. I have been using this app for a few years now and I just love it. It really keeps your lists organized, cool icons and just everything you need to make lists.

The most useful app I own. I have used this app daily for years to keep me organized. It is simple, straightforward, pleasing to the eye, and quick and easy to use. I have multiple lists and they are also easy to share via text. I tried their newer app Ikiru but I much prefer Paperless.

Issue with white lettering. I have used the app for years and love it however, since updating my phone to the new iOS and version update, whenever I type something in a list, the lettering is white and I cannot see it until I save it. I checked settings and tried different themes but can’t seem to find a way around it.

Wonderful app to keep track off all your apps. Would give it 10 Stars if possible. Use it everyday & have had it several years on 4 different iPhones. Nothing at all can be said negative about this great app

A suggestion. It would be nice if you could share lists between two or more people. Link the list somehow so if one person added something then the other person’s list would be updated to match.

My go-to app everyday!. I have used this app for at least 3 yrs, maybe more. I use it for everything! My to do’s, references, you name it! I like it so much more than ikuru mainly because of the colorful icons. Sounds stupid, right? Well there’s no other app I’ve run across that gives you the dynamics like Paperless does AND colorful icons. Yes, I will definitely donate to keep this app going! Please don’t take it away!

Paperless. I love, love, love this app. I have used it for years. I have lists for groceries (use it for this almost every day), birthday reminders, lists for trips items and on and on. Trust me. You need this app. Once you try it, you will wonder what you did without it.

Way Better Than Apple Notes App!. Life changing! I love the checklist feature, plus the fact that once you check off an item you can add it back later, which is SO helpful for repetitive things such as grocery lists.

Love this app!!. This is the simple, effective, easy to use listing app that I've been looking for! I make lists for everything and this has replaced everything else that I have been using. Wish you would let me use it on my Apple Watch!!

My favorite!. I'e been using this app for several years and it's the best! My lists are flexible, complete and I can write notes for items to direct me to other resources. I couldn't shop or organize anything without it!

My only shopping list app. I’ve had this app for years, completely dependable and easy to use. I have lists for every place I shop, for packing for trips and to-do lists. Easy to text full or partial lists to the Apple Watch for hands off shopping. The only list app I’ll ever want.

Love using it. Wish option to use with iWatch. I have used this app for years. Easy to use and to share/ send to others. Now that I’m using my iWatch more, would be great to have the app available to check off or refer to on my watch.

Great trade up from using iOS “notes”. I used to make lists using the basic iOS notes function. This is a great substitute with good basic features. I haven’t tried any of the higher level link-up functions so I don’t know how they work but I love it for my basic to do and reminder lists. Lots of nice basic icons too, those are fun.

Love this checklist app!. I have been using this app for years and absolutely love it! Easy to use and so versatile for all my lists. Wish the developer would make this app for my Mac Pro as well. I have this app sync from iPhone to iPad and would love to sync to Mac Pro!

Love It!. I have about a dozen tasks I have to do every morning and evening that involve personal health and hygiene. It is easy to forget to do some of them (e.g., rinse out and dry humidity chamber on my CPAP machine every morning). By running brought my Paperless checklist, I am assured no task will go unperformed. This is a great app! It’s easy to reset lists to All Unchecked. I even use it as my Xmas gift list to ensure everyone gets a ThankYou note. Love it!

“Completed” Missing. Had this app for years and continue to love it. I just downloaded the latest version, and the built in line at the bottom of a list called “Completed”, when you check off an item, is missing. Can you fix this please? Thank you.

Flawless!. Long-time user and NEVER a problem of any kind. Paperless has every feature I want in a list app, and no unnecessary stuff. I use it many times every day. Perfect.

Text Entry issue. It’s a great app - have been using for a couple of years. Don’t know if it’s IOS 13 or recent app changes, but when entering a new text item within a list, the input text is white (almost invisible). Once the entry is complete, though, it goes back to black, so the issue can be worked around.

Love it!. I read lots and lots of mysteries and cozies and this is great for keeping track of what I’ve read, what the next book in a series is and what each author has coming next. As well as authors I don't like. No more picking up something I already read or reading book 6 in a series when I should be reading book 3.

Love it!. I use this app for making gift lists. I can take notes throughout the year of things I hear friends and family wish they had and then birthday and Christmas shopping becomes easier. I also use it for remembering obscure things like furnace filter size and formal dining table size. It is great for so many lists that I maintain!

Favorite list making app so far- needs reminders. Thyy it a had as been my favorite list making app so far for several years. The only thing missing that I desperately need is a way to set reminders… still looking for an app that is set up the way paperless us but sends me a daily pop up or text reminder without opening the app

Easy to use. This is the best app I have used for keeping track of my lists. It would only be perfect if it had an option to time stamp when the item was checked.

It’s a great app if you like to makes lists.. It’s a great app if you like to makes lists. Idk why but I love to makes lists. And this has been a pretty good app to keep lists long term. Kinda like how I use my bullet journals. Nice to see my progression of lists over years of time. One thing that would make it a better would be the ability to tag lists then filter on which lists you see based on tags.

Like the App. I use this app all the time. However, I wish you would add an alarm feature. I use it as a reminder of things I need to do. It would be helpful if I could add a reminder to pop up that I can select. I know my calendar does that already but a backup would be Great!

Still using app!. This is one of the first apps I ever downloaded and I still use it years later. Very simple to use, nothing to distract from it’s purpose and it is visually appealing. The visuals are also effective in quickly distinguishing one list from another.

Paperless is Great!. Over a short period of time, I have used the Paperless features and have found them adaptable and supportive of my needs. I particularly enjoy the app's flexibility of format and ease of use. I recommend it without hesitation.

I love this App!. This is the best list making app for me. I keep my groceries, dinner menus, holiday arrangements, project planning, etc. all organized with finished things checked off and list items alphabetized if I like. It’s perfect for me. Lists stay unless I alter them, so I can review what I bought for Christmas last year, which groceries I didn’t get, or what we need for camping right there. I love it!

The best list & “to do” app around!. I accidentally deleted this app and finally found it again. I’m in love with this app. There isn’t another app that compares to the ease of use and organization of this one!

Perfect, simple checklists. This is a perfect app for creating checklists. It is easy to create a list, add items to do, reorder the items, delete or edit items. I rely on this for task planning (my daily task lists) during my weekly review. Minus one star, as I wish it could create nested lists (i.e. A list within a list, and so forth). But, the lack of this feature does not preclude me from using it daily.

My Life. Paperless literally organizes my life. The key is multiple lists: Today, Tomorrow, Week, Travel, Groceries, etc. Ability to move entries across lists is key. Notes function is great. Use it hourly on iPhone or iPad. Would love an internet accessible version.

Hands down best checklist app out there. This is the best checklist app out there. Simple, easy to use, reusable lists (like grocery) can be reset with one tap, extremely versatile. One improvement would make it perfect: enable Face ID capability. All my other apps use it, why not this one?

Great w/ Room for Improvement. I really love this app and I actually use it to create list, that I use for work, and then email them company wide. It’s very convenient to easily share the info you use the app for. I do wish that I were able to attach pictures to the items on my lists, that way I could show the product on my list also.

My precious. I love Paperless. It’s the only solely-lists app that’s beautiful and easy as well as wonderfully functional. It’s so good I’ve looked into upgrading to the dev’s other app, Ikiru. However, I haven’t, and won’t, unfortunately, for two reasons: 1. Color. I find apps with well-done colorful (and multiple) themes far more fun and also easier on the eyes to differentiate things at a glance. 2. Simplicity. I don't want reminders. I don't need due dates. I have GTD apps for those purposes. I want lists. I would love lists within lists and the inline photos added to Paperless, but I'm sticking with this and greedily loving it until the day it dies.

One more tweak and it’s perfect. Been a user of this app for longer than I can remember......because I don’t remember a bunch 😂 Today, opened it to make one of my lists and noticed the font was completely white and I couldn’t see it. After looking through over reviews, searching through settings and confirming I had the latest version, I discovered that I had to change the phone from dark mode in the Display settings of my iPhone 10 iOS 13.2.2. Once I reset the screen mode to Light, I could see the text in the app. Small fix but it would be great if it could be done. Keep up the great work!

Simply one of the best apps ever. This app has been keeping us on track for years. A glowing review is long overdue. I appreciate how it syncs across multiple devices, is very simple to use, intuitive, and has not yet gone to the dark side of being subscription-based like everything else on the planet.

Perfect except 1 thing. You need Dropbox to sync with other devices lists’. It’s be nice if the list I started on my tablet would sync to my iPhone. I’m forced back to using Notes to make lists. Other than that, this app is my favorite list making app.

One of the best apps around! Attractive too.. This app is a real powerhouse for me for keeping my notes. stable, relationships , easy to transport a backup to another device. If it had the ability to make notes with photos, it would be a 10 star winner!

I use this app daily. This is one of my best used apps. I think I like it so much because it is simple to use and it lets me construct and organize my lists how I want them. Also I can save everything so I don't risk losing my important lists.

My go to. I’ve been using this app for years and still love it. I’ve tried numerous other apps, including the developer’s other list app, and keep coming back to Paperless. I use this app to manage my household responsibilities as well as work tasks seamlessly. It’s the only app I’ve ever paid for and I have no regrets.

Tipped!!. Thank you for this awesome app!! I’ve really grown to be dependent on it and would be lost without it!! I highly recommend it for everything from grocery lists to packing lists to Christmas lists to things to do lists and many more!! It helps this most random of people actually feel organized!!

Very useful. I have been using this app for years now and love it. Very user friendly and easy to use. I keep all kinds of lists and it is perfect for that. I can add notes to each item. Have never thought of looking for a different list app.

Life-changing!. Paperless has changed my life! SO MUCH INFORMATION IN LIFE and Paperless helps me organize it! Grocery lists, movies and books I want to check out, travel lists, it’s endless and it’s in one app. What a creation, I’d be lost without it now!
