What is ease into 10k app? Train for running a 10K (6.2 mile) race with the Ease into 10K app. This training program is designed for beginners who are looking to run a 10K race. The first week of training starts with 3 minutes of running and one minute of walking repeated 5 times. If this seems like too much please try our Ease into 5K app to get you started. Training begins with only 30 second run intervals.

If you've completed the Ease into 5K or already run a 5K try our Bridge to 10K app. Start at a 5K distance and complete your training in 6 weeks to be ready for your 10K race.

This app gives you audio prompts every time you need to change from running to walking according to the Ease into 10K running plan. You can listen to your music and enjoy your workout without constantly looking at your stopwatch.

Great program!. This program got me through my first ever 10K! I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Awesome simple app!. Interval training plan is well made. I went from not being able to run 1 mile without stopping, to running a 10k. Lots of fun to record in the journal, and the GPS seems very accurate! Only drawback is that it crashed occasionally if i tries to mess with other apps at the same time, so be careful.

Loved the couch to 5k program. Got this one and all was well till the update. Now the times are not correct. Was told with next update it will be fixed but when will that be. Not having the correct times messes with the training. It said today I walked 1 sec per mile and 2.31 for the run. Really?! Please update soon and I'll change to 5 stars.

Good app. Takes you from couch potato to 10k. Very good app. I don't use the gps feature (I use Nike+ gps for that). Only con I found is that it won't verbally prompt if it's not the active app.

Love these apps!. Did the 5k trainer and thoroughly enjoyed it. This app is no different. Following these runs has helped me lose 35 pounds and prepare for a slew of races starting with a 5k, 10K, 10 miler then a half marathon. Two thumbs up for this one!

Buyer beware. Either this app is incompatible with iPhone 7, or it's just terrible in general. I loved ease into 5k and bought this bc it had been a while and I wanted to push myself further. No alerts if the phone is locked, even though I have it enabled. I had to stop and start so many times I've given up.

Great App - well worth the low cost.. A GREAT app and after just 6 workouts, I am very impressed with the music capability (with shuffle), workout timer/stopwatch, voice instruction, warm-up and cool down. It really couldn't be much easier. Thanks to the Developers!

Just what I Needed. First week was a doozy. Ap assumes you have some stamina. Second week has been really great. I've hit a couple of runner's high moments and feel pretty invigorated.

Ease into 10k. This app has pushed me more than I would ever have done alone. I'm 30 years old and I am not a natural runner by any means. This app so far (week 4) has surpassed my expectations. For anyone who ever wanted to run, but found it daunting, try this app. You'll surprise yourself.

Good but buggy?. This was a good place for me to pick up after taking a several weeks off after the end of track season. By week 4, I had already lost an inch off my waist and my doctor told me I had "beautiful" cholesterol. I love the voice prompts and the bell and making my own playlist. Unfortuneately, the prompts were all messed up around Week 2. Sometimes it would have me run for a minute, walk for 8, run for 10, or something absurd like that. And then the program would fizzle out and my regular music (not the in-app playlist) would start to play and Voice Control would pop up. It was a mess. I didn't have that problem after Week 2, so I don't know if I downloaded an update without knowing it after that, or if it is just Week 2 that is the problem.

New version crashes. Thanks, Bluefin, for the update to Version 3.3. Your teriffic app no longer functions. It crashes right after lauch and cannot even be used. By the way, regarding the Free GPS that you're now offering doesn't help to sell your app, and only ticks off your customers who had to pay for it. What sells your app are recommendations through word-of-mouth, which I will no longer be doing.

Good bridge training. This app does a great job of bridging the gap between the EI5K and the marathon. I think it works best when you start it about week 4 or 5 of the EI5K, helps with distance a lot more than finishing the 5K.

Helps me with getting trained.. Only wish it would randomly tell you what your pace is while running so you keep up to pace all the time.

Keeps me going. Challenging as others have said but keeps me interested and going forward. Great app!

Awesome!. I am on week three of this app and I love it! If you are new to running I recommend ease into 5k first but as an experienced runner trying to get back into it, this is perfect!

Great. I love this program it is exactly what I wanted because I just finished soccer season and I want to stay in shape this summer. U guys should make a run-sprint-walk program for people in sports.

Distance run is missing. Had to reset my iPhone. After doing so my distance run option was gone...I know longer see it. I also had to re-buy the GPS part???!! Thought once you bought something it stayed. I like distance run on none training days. Other then that I love this app. Helped me train for my first 10k and my time was even faster for the actual race!!!

so easy!. awesome app, super easy to use, super easy program to follow. gps feature totally worth the little extra money. only draw back so far is that I can't use pandora THROUGH the app, I have to open it separately. And because my arms are short sometimes I accidentally hit the music play on the app with my lower arm (aka no screen lock while app is open)

Love it!. I used this app to get back into running after having a baby. I just finished week 5 and love it so far. The gradual approach has helped me ease back into it. Looking forward to race day!

No thought. This workout literally just increases the number of minutes you are running. Eg: week 4: run 4 minutes, walk one minute, repeat 5 times week 5: run 5 minutes, walk 1 minute, repeat 5 times. Not really a professional or well planned running program.

Amazing app!!. It challenges you to go farther and faster! I love that I can play music and run when it tells me to. I can hit GO and not look/mess with my iPhone until its over!

Highly recommend. Great way to ease into distance running. The interval goals are achievable and keep you motivated to reach each one versus running on your own. I think the only thing missing is a voice prompt telling you your pace and a feature to help you improve your pace not just your distance. But I highly recommend this app.

Great motivator!. Love this app, one step at a time and much more motivation with the alerts instead of always looking at the clock and watching the seconds until you get a walk break.

Ease into 10K. I am absolutely loving this app. I completed a half marathon recently but injured myself. The gradually increase of this app has helped me "ease" back into distance running. I love to set my goals and go!!! I also love the progress journal since it is a source of encouragement and also a reminder to keep pushing!!

Great for those who "used to be runners". Its frustrating to know what you used to be able to do when you start running again. Wether sidelined because of injury or inactivity or whatever reason this is a Nice app to get back into a routine of running!! Recommend highly.

Not loading/working. After buying this app, I have not been able to get it to load a single time. It simply will NOT work. I have the Ease Into 5K app and it works fine. Very frustrating. Zero response from the developer after reporting it.

Thank you for a great app!. I went from not being able to run a full mile at once to now moving beyond the 10k..onwards and upwards. A BIG part of my motivation and achievement has to do with this app. It just helped me get there plain and simple....with ease. Actually got me running and kept me running!. Outside of a few minor complaints about the lack of intuitiveness with regards to the audio player, I love love love this app.

Pretty good except one crash bug. I like the app, it's easy to use and the tracking feature are simply yet useful. I found that the app crashed every time though if you start the workout and while the warmup walk timer is counting down you multi-task out and start up Pandora. Works fine if you start Pandora first and then start the workout.

Love this app. I've tried about 6 training apps and this is by far is the best for me. Good pace and advancement as you increase your time and distance. I'm loving running for the first time ever!

Very good but one suggestion. I used the 5k app last year to get into running. I was out of shape, so I decided to buy this app instead of the bridge to 10k. It works great and has never crashed after about 4 weeks! I would highly recommend any of these apps if you want to start running! Very easy to use and lots of features. One thing I liked better about the 5k app was the workout blurbs for each run. They are more motivating and encouraging. It's a small thing, but as a beginner I appreciated that.

I like it and use it!. If you are truly starting from couch potato status, I would start with Ease into 5k though. I have that one too. Both work well.

Love this app!. I get a great workout and don't have to pay attention to my interval times since the app does it for me. I will be running a 10K in no time! I haven't had problems with crashing or bugs with the most current version...

Great Running App. Since the GPS tracking was added to this app, this is the only one I use for running. A great, challenging app that will keep you moving.

Cool app, but it's not logging my runs!!. This is such a great app to get me going from light running to a 10K. I completed my first run today, and as "Jim" was saying my run was completed... It shut off! I lost all my data (I bought the GPS add on) such as my average run and walk times, distance and that I had completed the run. Such a HUGE bummer and a waste of money for me.

Dropping app after 8 weeks of frustration. I'm in the 8th week of my training program, and I'm dropping this app after weeks of frustration and finally having enough of it's glitches. From the beginning, there were constant problems with this app (distance cues didn't work consistently; automatic FB posting wouldn't always occur) but was able to tolerate them. Then after an app update, I started having problem with the music playing function. At best, I would get no more than three songs then silence for the rest of my run. More often than not, the failure would happen after only one song. I can't tell you how disrupting it is to come to a complete stop in the middle of a run to try fruitlessly to get music streaming through my earphones again. I tried everything to get it working right -- changing playlists, reloading playlists on my iPhone; creating my own in-app playlist. Then, out of desperation, I deleted the entire app from my phone -- 8 weeks of running data -- and reloaded it fresh. It still wouldn't work. For all of the money I've spent on this app, it's been constant frustration. Not worth it. Switching to the Nike app. And I won't be using this company's other app when I start training for a half marathon in a couple of months. Don't waste your money and time on this app. EPIC FAIL!

Great app for new runners. The weekly goals are paced well. The journal is great for seeing your progress and keeping you motivated. Love that iTunes works from app. Highly recommend.

It's perfect.. I so needed this to get me going...just finished week 2 and i feel great. The integrated music and alerts are flawless. Thank you for making this app!

App needs a lot of work. The notices don’t work if your phone is on lock and when I tried to put my phone unlocked into my running pack it just kept yelling “TIME” over and over again. So my choices of the TIME over and over again or holding the phone while trying to run aren’t realistic.

Need to buy upgrade for gps capability. Love this app, but in order to track calories, distance, and map your run you need to purchase a .99 upgrade. Not the end of the world, but something to be aware of. Otherwise, I love this app! Makes the bridge from 5 to 10k manageable and enjoyable.

Awesome app!!. Just finished week 4! I never thought I could run for 8 minutes straight, let alone do it 4 times in a row, but this app has gotten me there. It's been a great way to get started running!

What happened?. This was a great app until the last update. I never get the run/ walk alerts anymore when my screen is locked which pretty much makes the program useless. Please fix. Soon.

Love this ap. Totally supports me in my running goals. Having the music pause during the directions is a helpful feature since I listen to talk

Not really worth the price.. The only thing I really like about it is that I am able to play Nike running program concurrently so I'm able to track distance at same time and rate I'm traveling. Its use is strictly to remind me when to run or walk, and cool down or warmup.

love the workout, but the app needs work. love the program!! however, it needs to work and send audio alerts while my phone is locked. when my phone locks, the alerts don’t go off and my workout is screwed up. i can leave my phone on so i get the alerts, but it’s out of battery by the time i get home.

Getin' a ex athlete back in shape. Working great 3 weeks into it!! Only wish you could play whole I pod instead of just playlists.. Other than that, works awesome!

Keeps crashing. Gave it 4 stars since this is the best running app until I updated yesterday and now it keeps crashing! Please fix ASAP!! I'm training for a race and don't want to spend money on a new app!

Get off the couch!. The "Ease into..." apps are great. 5K is a great intro to running. 10K builds on top of that once you complete 5K. It helps ease your body into shape gradually so you shouldn't need to worry a out over training.

10k. Tough slog for very beginners but good to keep you on track and heading in the right direction. Motivational quotes are a nice touch and aims to get you to 10k quickly.

Great way to train!. Got me to 10k, but I had to repeat some of the later weeks.

Very poor app. This app asks for another $1.19 to record time of run. Get other BETTER apps for free. It's also in miles not km.

Ease into 10km. If you are a newby runner like I am, this is the app to get you from 5km to 10km WITHOUT injury! Great prompts at 5mins, 2, 1 min to keep you going or for intense runs. Maps, journal, it's all here.

Good for motivation & fitness. I like this app. I used the Ease into 5km program and loved it too. It's a tough training program for absolute beginners but it keeps me motivated and running. I love that you can listen to your own music or radio etc.

Excellent for my needs. I loved this app. I found 5k too easy so this was perfect. You can switch it to km as opposed to miles. I paid for the gps but never used it as I ran Nike plus at the same time. Definitely take it slow even if you want to skip ahead at the start, and it can be annoying sticking to only 3 days when you get in to it. I went from a huffy puffy 5k runner to now enjoying 10k in about 52mins.

Fantastic. Great app. I had done the couch to 5 km last time and thought I would step it up this time round. It works well and charts your progress. You are able to see what you are achieving which is great. So far no issues with the app. I also use run helper to download my data and save it should something go wrong I can restore from the cloud.

Terrific. Hi i used to run a lot, I even did some marathons but over time i seemed to get lazier and lazier, Eventually i got to the point where i was suffering anxiety. This app has helped me get out again by the simple warm up walk at the start, Once i'm out there it's so much easier.

Fantastic!. I haven't run since August 2011 (now Feb 2012), this was a great tool for me to "ease into 10k". Unless u haven't run b4 or really want to ease into it slowly, I would recommend u get this app rather than the couch to 5k. It will last me until I can run 10k again & then as a tool to measure PB's after that. Fantastic!!

I regret the purchase. I do NOT recommend this app. All intervals include 1 min walk and seems like developer is not even a runner. "Run 6 min walk 1 min repeat 4 times". Next day, "Run 7 min walk 1 min repeat 4 times"... I regret the purchase.

Great. User friendly, make playlist right on iPhone from your music library, verbal cues for when to walk/run, great progress tracking graphs, map of running itinerary wherever you go, walking and running pace for each trial. Definitely worth it. Thanks for helping me achieve the 10k goal.

Run!. Great running app. Love the pre planned schedule and the button lock feature. Would give it a 5 star if you could upload your own run plan. Would also like to see running tips.

Helpful App. App is helpful for tracking improvements with your running as you train for a 10k. However sometimes the times are inconsistent with the program and haven't really been able to sort out why.

Great for getting back into running. I really am enjoying the app. Lost one star only because I wanted it to also tell me how fast to run on my treadmill for each session to build up to 10k in 60mins.

It’s ok.. The buzzer (walk/run) times don’t always go off when they’re supposed to. Its annoying to have to always pull out my phone and check to find I’ve run or walked way over my time. It’s unreliable. However, I do like that it gives the calories burned, and my average pace I would have much rather paid more for something that was reliable.

Good app. App works fine with a couple of glitches. Week 3-4 transition goes abruptly from 5/1 run/walk to 8/1. Calorie count is based on time not exercise. Paused in the middle of a run today and resumed much later. It calculated 1400 calories!!

App used to be awesome. Program and GPS used to be awesome but now GPS freezes in the middle of my run and I have to restart my phone in the middle of my run to get it to work again. Please fix!!
