Last update causing app to crash.... When app starts it closes down but still showing in background and have downloaded and reinstalled with no improvement... App has run 100% before update... 5 STAR APP hell of a ToolBox...

Wow! Useful tools right in your pocket!. I used 5 of these tools on the first project! I highly recommend this app to anyone who uses a screwdriver, drill, RV, ladder or hangs art! Unbelievably useful! Only complaint is that it needs an in app manual or video tutorial.

Crashes. Randomly crashes on opening of certain tools on iPad Air 2 running 10.3.3. Please fix ASAP. Edit: crash issue seems to have been fixed by the latest update. This developer cares, back to five stars.

Deceptive. I wanted the decibel meter. Showed in the store that it had it. Bought the pro version to find out that not only didn’t it have the decibel meter, but that it didn’t have anything else than the free version other than to take away the ads. Classic bait and switch for my $4

Love it!. I really love this app. It has all the tools I have seen, except for one, and it’s an iPhone 5-only tool. I am anxious to see what, if any, tools are added in the future. I am constantly amazed at what can be done via a smartphone. Not only are the tools functional and highly accurate, but the visual and audio elements of this app are outstanding. I love the industrial look, sound, and feel.

Sound meter missing. I purchased the pro version then they removed the sound meter. What a rip off. Why does the apple store allow such false programming? There was no notification of the dB meter being removed. The sound meter is why I downloaded the application.

Crashes after last update. iPhone se 11.3. It crashes after the last update, cannot use it any more. I’ll keep the 5 starts cause I know the issue will be solved, for now I just can wait. iPhone SE iOS 11.3

Big flaw. While I love everything that it does there is a major flaw with the levels. While it’s great to be able to zero them out i found no way to reset it once you do. I’ve closed and reopened it was still off. So then anything you do could be majorly off and while i know this isn’t for construction use for a house or what not. It might be nice to say set my closet rack level or the fence post. Mail box. As it sits right now all my levels are useless . If i am just not seeing how they reset back please let me know and it’ll be a 4 star all day long. For more detail all three levels have a button to zero out or set to level not sure what you call it but it makes your indicator bubble show level or center. Only problem is if when you do that the phone isn’t say level not your level is out of alignment. Put the Phone on a flat surface tilt one side up with some thing a pen , what ever, now hit the zero out or reset button it’s the one with the cross hairs and a dot in the center now your phone will think that is what level is . It’s like that with all three levels. Hopefully you can now see why this could be a problem. I like the feature it’s useful there just needs to be a way to clear out any user input and set it back to default. Like if the button stayed light when it was using the manual feature but push it again turns the light off and the app goes back to using the phone sensors to determine

Unusable with iOS 11.3. Just purchased Toolbox PRO version 5.2.1, installed on iPad Pro and iPhone 6 both running iOS 11.3. App opens with barometer function. Attempting to select a different function, or “Settings,” causes the app to immediately close. I submitted a trouble report to the developer, and if they respond and correct the problem in a timely manner I’ll upgrade my rating.

Seismic activity data. I may not have figured the app out - but it seems that the seismic app doesn’t run ‘in background’ or when the screen is locked, for example, at night. I was hoping to record information over night but it stopped recording soon after I set it down. Am I doing something wrong?

Beautiful interface worthy app. If you have an actual toolbox, you must include this one. More functionalities discovered every use!

The Greatest Multi-Tool in the App Store. I've been a Pro user for many years now and I still love this app and it’s so useful it’s literally in my first screen on my desktop of my phone. You never realize how much you can use all these great tools and they’re done in such an elegant and beautiful way. Even though it’s now two years since the last update the fact is it’s still an incredibly powerful and wonderful app that is worth every penny if not more. I wish the developer would update it even further with the newest tools available from my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Jack of all trades, master of none.. Has a lot of functions, but I’m not sure it will become my “go-to” app. It does many things your iPhone does already, so you’re likely to ignore the timers (because Siri is so convenient for that) or the flashlight (because we’re accustomed to sliding up for that). Additionally, those functions which require sounds to be generated will only do so if your phone is not in silent mode (where native iOS alarms will conveniently override this). Some instruments are easy to accidentally calibrate without realizing. It might be nicer to have calibration functions more out of the way, just as the resetting to defaults is hidden in the instrument’s settings menu. Of all the great things about the metronome (ability to store a list of tempos, time signatures, audible subdivisions, Italian labels on the dial), it is a travesty that you can’t dial in a tempo by ear without a cacophonous mess (The metronome audibly resets to beat one continuously as the dial is moved while playing). I don’t know of any musicians who wouldn’t require the ability to adjust a metronome while it is playing. Lastly, the instruments which allow measurements to be graphed would be more useful if labels for units of measurement were included on the graph (though I have not yet checked to see if exported data files include labels).

Decent interface and useful. really like the dB and the gauss meters the interface is unique and functional. consider making it tailorable by being able to disable/enable the items the barometer could use some buffing, please consider adding a recorder and/or markers on the gauge

This is a great quick check specs verification app. I was introduced to this app from a fellow engineer who was on our site for progress updates. Showed me various functionality of the app tool and we got together and compared its results against the measuring devices on site…every compared measurement matched! I have one issue with the Teslameter in that there is no adjustment to the alert threshold level. The level is locked at 2k mg. I need to be able to measure various levels from 10k mg down to as close to zero as possible. Any suggestions on how to achieve this will be greatly appreciated! Otherwise the remaining tools in the app are found to be quite accurate AND simple to use. Thank you

A Great Tool. This is a great, intuitive app. I would rate it 5 stars, but for IMO one missing tool, that being a temperature converter for centigrade and Fahrenheit comparisons or conversions. I would forgo the metronome tool for a temperature tool! I love the sounds associated with the tools! Fun!

Keep crash after upgrade. Version 5.2.1 keep crashes every time I turn tool rotary to others or select Setting icon right lower corner. I am using iPhone 8 plus and iOS 11.3. Please fix it ASAP. ========= Update 5.2.2 fixed the crash issue. Thank you for quick fix.

False Advertising. This app does not have a decibel meter. I had the regular version and paid to unlock everything but the decibel meter didn’t show up. Thinking maybe I misread the information about the app and made a mistake I thought the PRO version would have it. Reading up it said it did. I purchased the app and no decibel meter. I wrote the company and got no response. I’m very put out. Edit: about a week after I wrote this review they removed the decibel meet from their blurb about the app; however, as that was a huge reason for my having purchased the app, twice technically, I am still very unhappy. They have never responded to my emails and I am writing it off as a loss. Very unhappy.

No dB meter!!!. The picture in description of the App Store clearly shows a sound dB meter. I downloaded the app & No dB meter anywhere. What a waste. I was specifically looking for a cheap dB meter which I found after down loading 3 different apps. Granted your dB meter works that I ultimately paid for after 3 downloads but the description of the Tools Pro version is false advertising as far as the dB meter goes.

Does everything you would expect and more.. Precision and accuracy, while not the same, are very much present in this app. I have yet to find a problem with this app and have found it very helpful whenever I have used it, which is often.

Great Tool Box. These tools are a handy way to help when making repairs or adjustments and are always as close as my phone. A wonderful array of useful gadgets that can be put to use to save the day when things need help. Don’t leave home without them!

Advertising is exploitative. The advertising in the “free version” is so intrusive the product ceases to be usable in about an hour, not enough time to test and evaluate product . Its greedy. The product itself is excellent however . I paid the premium and the product performs beautifully but they need to stop pretending there is a “free” version. Its deceptive advertising.

Yay, works again. This app was just updated and finally works again but the developer took a looong time to fix. Shouldn’t have to wait months for a paid app to be fixed from a fatal bug that caused it to crash on opening.

Good app, but.... Why did you remove the dB meter with no warning in the update information? The dB meter is why some of us paid for the app. This is very poor form. Also, please allow user determined intermittent beeps/alarms within each timer. This way people have reminders to turn or flip things when cooking, or change exercises. Another update with no change is just poor business. I will definitely NOT recommend your app, and will not be buying any future products until you make this up to your longtime customers.

Doesn’t include all the features of the free app. Purchased this to access the settings on the dB meter, only to discover the dB meter isn’t included in the pro version. Like the available tools, but feel cheated.

Instant crashes. Will not open at all anymore.. It instantly crashes on both iOS 11.0 and 11.0.1. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. I’ve tried it many times with no luck. All my other apps work perfectly. Your response worked. Thank you. I’ve revised my rating to five stars. Thank you for your response and for working hard to once again make this an excellent app.

Doesn’t work on phones with a notch. On phones with a notch the ruler doesn’t work correctly. You can get the control stuck behind the notch and be unable to grab it again. Tap frequency weighting in settings for the dB tool and instant crash if it was set to itu468.

Great app - please add unit converter. Great app - nice interface and works well. Would even make it all the more useful to have a unit converter app that can toggle between length, area, volume, temperature, pressure, etc. and the various units.

Not good. Opened the new update on an app I paid money for only to find the Decibel tool I use most has been removed. The main reason I purchased this app was for the decibel tool. Now you want me to spend 4.99 to get an app I already paid for. You said if I had toolbox pro with decibel in it it would not be removed. YOU REMOVED IT. I’m not happy about this.

Does NOT include all modules described. Nice set of tools in one app…BUT, The description in the AppStore shows pictures of the sound meter included in the Pro version, the main reason I bought it, but when you download, and pay, it’s NOT there!!! Particularly annoying is that there are reviews that make the developer aware of the inconsistency between the AppStore description and the app itself. THIS IS A BIG DEAL! I hope they read this, and resolve the discrepancy.

Very well done. This is really well done. It’s like several apps all rolled into one, and each one is really good. I am always surprised at what it includes, and I always end up fooling around with the other tool things that I didn’t know I wanted, but turns out are super interesting. Really worthwhile app, and I don’t say that often.

Greatest tool for iPhone EVER!!. Ok now that I’ve told Y’all that this is the greatest app ever created for the iPhone. There is one piece of bad news. Not Compatible with iOS 11.3. 5 stars but waiting patiently on the update. Crashes every time I launch and select a tool. PLEASE UPDADE!!!!!!!!

Crashes. In iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 11, this app crashes on startup. Developer really cares, the new release completely fixed the previous crash issue. Revised rating to five stars.

Misleading. The description and pictures talk about a decibel meter, which was the only reason that I purchased the app to begin with, but when I open the application there isn’t one. In the picture, the decibel meter is shown as tool number ten, but in the actual app it has been replaced by a Teslameter. This app is not worth the money, and I would appreciate a refund.

With alert spikes and the red screen are a little confusing I was reading up on the basics of a Tesla/gauss meter and I’m still a little unsure it I’m reading electrical activity(power lines in the wall) or magnetic metal.

Removed the decibel meter. It makes me sad and a bit frustrated that I purchased this app specifically for the decibel meter, now with a new phone I needed to download the app again, and magically that no longer is part of the app. Not sure if I will keep in the app installed or not. I feel like I just tossed money out the door.

Took away the reason I bought it.. The main reason for me to purchase this app was for the decibel level meter. Have been rolling this app out on to our manufacturing floor. Much to my surprise, the company removed the decibel meter, making this worthless for the use intended. I have written the company about this, but have received no reply. Why two stars then? The products that they do have within the app are god and work well, just not what I need. Edit: Four emails to them/support. ZERO replies. dB meter still shows in their “store”. One star due to their lack of customer support.

Pro version crashes!. I have iPhone 7+. I had the version with all the annoying gaming ads. - it worked great so I decided to purchase Pro. With Pro version only the flashlight works. If I try to use anything else, it crashes. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times- no help. Deleted previous version with the ads- no help. Rebooted Iphone-no help. Doesn’t work.

Ruler is way off on iPhone 13 Pro. I have used this app for years and loved it. With my new phone the ruler scaling is WAY off. Like or shows about 25% off. I was also unable to find a scaling option.

If you do audio you have to have this.. I install large assistive audio systems and use this all the time. Get it. Use it.

Feel tricked into buying the pro version. I paid for the pro Version to get an unlocked decibel meter. It turns out that the decibel meter wasn’t even available in a provision. how can the decibel meter be in the free version and not be in the provision . On top of that the decibel meter has features that says needs to be unlocked buy buying pro to use????? Other than that its a 5 star app, but -2stars for tricking me.

Update - Thumbs Down. Update- no development in a year and the app crashes everytime on iOS 13. I paid for tool box pro for one app alone the decibel meter and then they moved it out and now they’re charging $8 for the pro version of that up. It has all the same features are used to have in the app that I already paid for. This is a BS software development model to extract more money from paying customers.

Does not include Db tool. The only reason I downloaded this tool was for the decibel meter. The basic version did not include it so I thought perhaps it was a full version feature only. Nope! Does not include a Decibel Meter (FFT) at all! Even though it is shown CLEARLY in the photos/videos. If it was a feature in the previous versions, it’s gone now. I never write reviews but had to say something to hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake I made.

New. Pro version will not run on my 8s or iPad. Original toolbox worked fine, new upgrade wont even open, I have deleted and downloaded new copy and it still will not open. Sad.

Pretty sleazy tactic. As others have pointed out, the decibel meter has been removed from the pro version. Looking at the version history, there was NO mention of its removal in the release notes. The last reference was to CHANGES to the decibel meter, indicating it was still part of the app. I guess now it’s turned up again as a separate paid-for app. Do developers really think people will invest MORE money in their apps after a move like that? Sleazy SkyPaw!

Fantastic but broken. It has been really cool and interesting to have this app for the past few weeks. I have the Pro version. Starting a couple of nights ago, however, it crashes on opening! I can't use it now!! I have tried changing my iPhone 7-plus back to standard zoom (as was recommended with a previous update), but no luck.

Instant Crash. This app used to be a valuable tool. Now it opens, but as soon as I try to select anything; another tool, settings, etc. the app crashes and immediately closes on my iPhone 7 Plus running the most recent iOS. Big disappointment.

Not so good on iPhone 8plus. This app worked wonderfully on my old iPhone 5s, but I just got a new iPhone 8plus today and all it does is crash on the new 11 program. OK- a day later and they must have updated the app because it now works wonderfully again!

Great product now won’t work.... This is a great product. However, a week ago it suddenly stopped launching on my iPhone 7 Plus. Still works fine on my iPad. So I went ahead and did most recent iOS update, and still the same. Check App Store for update, none. What’s going on here? Hence a 3 star rating this round. UPDATE: So I deleted the app from my iPhone and then reloaded it. Now it launches but when I go into settings or attempt to change to another tool the app crashes, hence downgrading to a 1 star rating, for their paid for PRO version no less! UPDATE TO UPDATE: App now works. However, the barometer still doesn’t work here in Utah. Others do. I use in inHG setting. That is why it only gets 4 stars. Hopefully the barometer will get fixed and working.

Tool box Rocks !. I’ve had the regular version for a year more now everything I’ve had works great just upgraded to the pro version. I am a professional audio engineers of the decibel meter has been coming in handy for a while, the Metronome works great. I haven’t had much need for the seismograph… But I’ve got to say the altimeter and the compass it made for some interesting conversations while I’m on the road… I now also understand what I barometer is and how it functions. And believe it or not the plumbob and leveling portion of this have helped a few times making sure staging was level. Two thumbs up for sure… And if I had a third time and point at skyward! JTJ

Great app...but discontinued. I previously used your app, and was very pleased with it. However, you have now discontinued it, and forced me to use this version 2. I like that it is universal, but now has ads. These ads not only take valuable space on the screen, but start video ads which you have to just wait till they finish. I know you can pay for no ads, but I didn't have any in version 1. I feel this app is now spoiled, and I for one will not be moving over.

Put it on the front screen. This is a good one. Tidy design, good set of tools that just work. For the next version how about using the camera as a light meter and how about inclinometer logging to go with the seismograph, with peak hold on each axis. Ez

Very good. Some of the functions do require calibrating and are not very accurate, but that should be expected of an app. The decibel metre was 5 dB out, and the tesla meter was inaccurate compared to professionally calibrated instruments. However, I did find it to be a useful alternative that at least gives an indication of the levels, and the accelerometer functions proved to be useful.

Love it. Always carry my Swiss Army bottle opener around with me, why not a ruler, a spirit level, plumb bob, protractor, an accelerometer, decible meter, ... The list goes on. Not perfect, but I can't carry my Spirit Level from the Garage arond in my pocket, and my brother in law got dirty with me when I checked his billiard table accuracy after he beat me again!!!

Needs help feature.. To explain how to use some of the instruments. Otherwise amazing!

For the future. Excellent starting point. If you want a challenge and a truly useful engineering app, we need a record function and graphed recordable speed/acceleration profiles to match the x, y, & z profiles (sound recording would be good as well)

Neat!. Couldn't do without this app. Very useful over the wargame table with a 90° laser to measure firing angles, looks great, many types of measurements, it works!

Design. Nice layout and design. The measurements are actually working for once

Superb. Initially I was only looking for a stopwatch but this app turned out to be so much more and a rare find. It's well designed, it's well thought out, and best of all... it's actually useful. Don't let the low price ($1.19) deter you; I initially skipped it because there's so many rubbish apps for this price. This is not one of them. Everything this app can do, it does well. You may not need to use a fraction of the functions, but when you use any of them it's a pleasure. This is the way apps should be and like everyone else here, you won't regret buying it.

Handy little App. Not meant to be spot on but does a good enough job for things to get you out of trouble

One of the most useful apps I have.. Quite accurate and handy - you'll be surprised how often a spirit level is useful! Metronome is good and configurable although the tesla meter seems a bit esoteric.

Barometer. This is a fantastic app. It would be nice if the analog “ clock “ in the barometer had a lower starting point!! The town I live in has altitudes from 800 to 1300 meters so the actual barometric pressure ranges from about 850 mbar to maybe 1000 mbar!! Worth looking into please??

Works OK on iPad but…. The HD version opens and works well on my iPad mini but won't even open to a start screen on my 6 plus. Just crashes immediately. I'll definitely give it 5 stars if this is fixed before developer support finishes. 😁

Fairly accurate. Only annoyance is the teslameter on the 4S - starts off at 10k for a while before readjusting to sit on 400 or so. It's a little weird. everything else works as it should.

Brill. This app works so well. I'm in the science industry and this app has come in handy ( mostly outdoors) on many occasion. The motion sensor is so sensitive I can put it on my babies chest and it picks up her heart beat!

Crashes. Previous versions worked fine. This version crashes when I try to change measuring device

Tool Box. Interesting options some of which are very helpful when I go camping and off road driving. Still getting used to the Pro version but will continue to learn how to use the applications better.

Ideal. Simply what you've most likely been looking for.

5.2.1 No go!. Updated Tool box pro to 5.2.1, now when I try to go from one tool to another, the app shuts down, drops out. Cannot use app at all please fix ASAP. Oh, by the way, Tool box pro is an excellent app when up and running correctly,although it could use some instructions for some of the tools worth 5 stars then !!

No DB measure. I purchased this version because the introduction has noise measurement. However it does not have it at all. It's frustrated, and I thin the description is misleading.

Overrated. After all the ratings. The protractor needs me to move the angle myself. It cannot even reference what is behind the iPhone and so you have to estimate the point of origin. So much for ratings.

Well worth it!. I've used this app on all sorts of projects, from straightening things to measurements etc & I've found it reliable & handy

Great app worth the couple bucks. So handy I use this thing all the time.

No dB meter. Bought this for the dB meter clearly shown on the preview but it does not to include one!! I see that the company sells one separately that does not work with the toolbox. Very disappointed and feeling deceived.

Decent Toolkit. I bought this for the timers, but actually they are useless to me because you can't put in your own time (ie 12 min... not possible). I thought I could use this for cooking and timing multiple items but it's pointless if i can't specify the exact time. I will give this 4 stars in anticipation that they will fix this app.

Great all in one tool for your phone.. More measuring tools than you'll ever need, but hey you never know when you will.

doesn't transport. the app provides the measures promised but there seems to be a lot of measuring apps. What I found disappointing is that if I want the app on any of my other devices (ipad) I have to purchase the app again. This is the first time I have come across this.

To cajones. Timers can be changed small arrows above or below the timer are there for each time interval and you move your finger up or down while holding onto the corresponding arrow

Where is the db meter?. I've used the app in the past. Works excellently. Added it back to my new iphone and the db meter is missing. Was it removed from the toolbox?

Snake oil. Bought this for the deciblemeter, even shows it in the preview , but where is it ? Paid for this app specifically for that and it is not in the app. Not impressed.

Junk. Bad English. Poor design. Can’t exit some modes. Refund denied even within 10m of purchasing.

Missing Features. I bought this app because it said it has a decibel meter, it does not. I gave it three stars because some of it’s other features are pretty good, except the compass which doesn’t seem to do anything at all on my iPad.

No Decibel meter. The App Store advertises that this app has a decline meter. It doesn’t in fact have this tool which, unless you see this, you will not know until you pay for it. Now I am going to have to try to get a refund.

An essential app. Works very well. An essential part of my app toolbox.

Awesomest app ever!. As a pharmacist concerned with wellness and preventative medicine and lifestyle I also recommend my patients be aware of the cross currents and electro pollution they are exposed to. The Tesla meter set to mGause is a very useful tool. Congrats. Well done!

Good little utility app. It would be really nice to see exporting of recorded data as a feature in v4.0, though.

No dB meter. Like all the other recent reviewers I too am disappointed that the dB meter is missing although it is clearly shown on the pictures.

Pretty Good overall. My only disappointment with this app was that this is my 2nd time buying the “pro” version.The fact I couldn’t restore has a full star taken away.

Decibel reader?. I paid for the pro to have the decibel reader and now it is gone ... but I see there is now a standalone decibel app that I could pay again for? Tell me this is a mistake?! I've recommended the app to many people. Fix the issue and I'll rate again.

Very handy!. I love this app and it works great. I noticed a response that someone was forced to pay again when transferring to a new device but I didn't experience this problem.

Annoying. Sound effects make this app annoying to use, and the main screen may be cute but is a nuisance to use.

No dB meter. Same thing I purchased for the dB meter as it showed on screenshots. Only after purchasing the pro version I found it wasn’t there and dB meter was sold separately. If you look in the version history it says removed from the toolbox and the screenshots however this wasn’t done. I am also feeling extremely deceived.

Great app, however. Love it. However the ruler does no show correct lengths on mi iPhone 12. They are larger than actual true lengths. Is there any way to calibrate the ruler to true lengths?

Blows up after last update. Doesn’t matter if it’s on the iPad or iPhone, everytime I try to open app it blows up. I have to restart my device to actuall get the app to close.

Toolbox Pro. Extremely handy app. No bugs and everything works as it should.

No db meter. I ordered this because it showed a dB metre in the advertising. It wasn’t in there when I downloaded it. This is what I needed the most I am not happy.

Crashes, does not open. This app does not open with the latest iOS 9.0.2. Bummer , 'cause looks interesting :-(

Not accurate. Lot of useful tools but measuring tape is not correct. 1 inch is different sizes on different phones. Most other tools are good

Decibel level missing. Good app i like it but since i put it on my new phone it does not show the Decibel function

Unusable. Come on people stop giving it five stars then saying it’s unusable. App crashes, changed zoom to standard, didn’t work, deleted and reinstalled, didn’t work. Can’t even tell which version I have because app crashes. It opens to first page but crashes when I attempt to open a tool.

Awesome app. I like the design and user experience. One thing is missing for me is luminance sensor feature like we have in other apps

Instant crashes. With latest update, this app instantly crashes on startup. I read another review of same issue and tried the standard/zoom setting change with no results. This has been a great app, used often and this update has made it useless.

Things missed. I miss the decimal meter. And yes I know my iPad does not have a flashlight but I do not understand why they just don’t turn the screen bright white. That would be better than nothing, and will work in a pinch. Other than that not a bad app. Thanks

dB Meter Removed. I still make use of the app at times but as others mentioned I made great use of the now missing, though /still/ advertised, dB meter.

Noooo! Should have read the reviews. No dB meter which I had on the free version. I got the pro to remove ads and the pro app is missing dB Meter which is my reason for wanting the app in the first place. Extremely disappointing.

False Advertising. This app used to have a decibel meter in it when I purchased it. That was the main reason I bought it. Then they removed the decibel meter and did not refund me any of the money I paid or offer me a substitute. So they basically stole back the product I paid them for. And to make matters worse, the screenshots in the App Store still show that it has a decibel meter included. So they are still tricking people into paying for something they don’t get. I am reporting them to Apple for false advertising.

Toolbox user. This was a perfect app, 5 star. Since upgrading to IOS 13, it crashes on starting. There was no response from the developer. I deleted and redown loaded the app. It still crashes on opening. Same for both versions, pro and regular.

Awesome !. Everything you need, and easy to use!

Major fix required. App opens showing the pressure reading mode. The flashlight mode also functions. However, attempting to use any other mode or even trying to access settings causes the app to immediately crash. Useless.

Where is the DB meter?. I’ve been using this app for several years. I don’t remember having to pay a subscription price. I don’t remember whether I even paid for the app. But I know that I’m not going to pay a subscription fee monthly for something that used to be free.

Why did the sound meter get removed?. Perhaps someone was silly enough to take the sound meter as calibrated equipment and blew some noise in court. Seriously, that was a great tool. Can we have it back in next release (soon)?

No more dB meter!. They removed the dB meter and now want a monthly fee for it in a different app. I originally upgraded the app to get the dB meter. I sent them messages and got no response. I would not have purchased had I known they were removing some of the functionality.

Great app, great support. This is the best app for measuring. Great looking and it’s always being improved. When there is a problem the app designer is right on top of it.

Instructions???. Can’t figure out how the ruler and protractor works (perhaps others as well as I have not checked). Really frustrating! I purchased the pro version and only some of the tools seem to work. Is this app fully functional as advertised?????

Why does the pro version NOT have everything the ad supported one does. Pro is missing things that are in the ad supported. The decibel meter for example.

Does NOT include the Decibel meter!. I downloaded version 5.2.3 onto my iPhone 7s June 2018 and there are only 13 tools- it’s missing the Decibel tool, which was the only one I really wanted. I would have paid the $3.99 just for that one. I’ll follow up this review if the developers make good on the promise of this app.

Do not buy. I paid to unlock the app and get the pro version for additional features in the dB meter. Well, to my surprise, the DB meter is completely removed from the paid app. This is despite the fact that it is clearly depicted in the picture for the pro version that I bought. Do not buy.

Decibel meter?. Where did the decibel meter go? It was about the only thing I ever used and now it’s gone!

Purchased for dB reader— app has none. I purchased this app specifically for the dB reader only to find there is not one on the app. Literally the first picture on the app description is one of a dB reader. I just scrolled through all of the options on the app — even had my coworker verify he did not see it as an option— and did not find. Garbage!

Crash. Wow. I used the free version but got frustrated with all the ads. So I reluctantly “went pro”. Now as soon as I try and change to any tool the app crashes. So now I’m back to using the other free apps out there that actually work! Don’t waste your time or money.

Sound pressure meter missing!. What happened to the Sound Pressure/Level Meter? It was there a few weeks ago...it is now missing! Why?

Whatever happened to decibel meter.... The decibel meter was one of main features I payed for. Why is it suddenly gone now? You can’t just remove things and expect people to be fine with it. It’s like selling a car and then, after a few months, removing the seats.

No dB Meter!. I paid for this app because I used the dB meter, and I didn’t want to see all of the ads. At some point the devs decided to remove it on the last update. Beware of purchasing this, there is no dB meter, and I will be going to Apple to get a refund on my money.

Great App. Has so many uses all right at hand. Wish it had volume level (decibels) and WiFi signal strength.

iPhone 11. A great tool is now broken. It crashed every time I tried to use it on my iPhone 11. Still works on my iPad.

Great tool. I just wish the buttons on all pages were more touch friendly. They are tiny.

iOS 13, Does Not Open. Don’t Buy!. Paid for, Pro version. Haven’t opened it in several months, and it has worked before. Tried to run tonight, wouldn’t open. Deleted and reinstalled—>still doesn’t open. Notice there are no reviews in a year? Looking like an abandoned product. Beware.

False Advertising and No Response. I bought this app because the pictures showed a sound meter. No sound meter and no response when I emailed a polite question about it. And no refund either. So I’m stuck with basically a ruler and a flashlight. Weeee.

Where did the Db meter go?. I’ve had this app for years and then one day I need the DB meter and it’s gone! The developer removed it without warning or reason. Otherwise I love this app, but removing functionality from a purchased and is really bad form.

Deception. I have been using Toolbox for the decibel meter in the free version. Upgraded to pro as its display on iTunes shows picture of decibel meter so I purchased it for supposed advanced capabilities and found that once downloaded it does not include the decibel meter at all. Deception at its finest , would not recommend purchase of anything from this company.

Does not unlock all features.. I mainly used toolbox (free version) for its decibel meter. I purchased the pro version and it doesn’t even have the decibel meter on it. Didn’t think unlocking everything would cause me to lose access to one of the tools. Pathetic.

Needed a EMF Radiation meter. App cheap enough.. At the onset it seems to be OK but how do I really know it’s telling me what I need to know and second of all where do I find out what’s acceptable levels? And how does this unit actually sense.

Disappointed. Been using this app for years, only to find in this latest update the sound meter tool has been removed. It’s one of the measures I use more frequently. Yet it’s still a screen shot in the previews.

Nice tool. Used it while building my airplane.. I only found the protractor to be buggy. Tapping the box to type angles or show/hide the dashed line is not working as it states it should. iPhone 7 Plus.
