Volume issue fixed. Love the app, it provides a good distraction from an otherwise ordinary work day. Regarding the new update, I will say that I experienced an issue with the volume when trying to play the videos but that problem was solved easily by updating my iOS system. Also, it’s good to take the articles with a grain of salt. While there is a noticeable one-sidedness that dominates most of the news articles, once you get past that you can begin to see that most of the posts do provide insight into current events (and even though I may not agree with the writers’ perspective 100% of the time, I do appreciate what Buzzfeed is trying to accomplish by spreading awareness of hot-topic issues). Overall, it’s a great app!

Omg this quiz!!!!!!!. So ldk about others quizzes l was on looking for websites to see what pet would be best for me l saw buzzfeed and wow it was we will guess from what house you want what pet do l did that and got a snake (you don’t even know me)also(Before this l went on a walk and ran because l saw a snake and screamed)So l was freaky out and so l was trying to calm myself doing these quizzes on random websites than got to do this and got snake and also(If l see a snake in pictures to l freak out)I was so scared changed some of the answers again on the app and still got snake omg!!!!!!!again changed almost all my answers before to a different thing and got snake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I’m strongly against this quiz but will try others. But did fav color one by house and got my fav color!!!!S0 3STARS now

Racist posts. This morning saw an article tilted “Chinese-Made Smartphones Are Secretly Stealing Money From People Around the World” When I saw it I knew it was gonna upset me, but I clicked anyway. In the post, they are framing a Chinese-owned company that they’re stealing money from people. I read further in the post, and there was no actual evidence that they were stealing money. It upset me even more that the comments were agreeing with his racism. C’mon buzzfeed, why are you letting Craig Silverman, another white, racist Trump supporter write articles on your app. We get bullied enough by our eyes, what we eat, and even more so the coronavirus. A lot of your clothes, household items ,and cars were made, created, and manufactured in China, so are we gonna ban all of that too?! They’re never posts about White Russian spies. What are the White Russians stealing? They never talk about how white Hitler killed six million innocent Jews. So buzzfeed, and Craig, shame on you, shame on you for doing all of this, when you don’t have actual proof of anything.

Needs serious updating. I like buzzfeed’s content, it’s entertaining and there’s a wide range of things to look at/do. The app needs a major overhaul, though, regarding the way it functions and user interface. One of the biggest issues is the comment sections. It is 2020 and this app still doesn’t let you edit or delete your comment once you have posted it. This is a huge issue! I’ve also had issues with the “report” button, where I keep accidentally hitting it, then there’s no way to retract the report, nor is there a way to explain why you want to report that person if it was on purpose. The login is also obnoxious and complicated, and needs updating. Lastly, I would say buzzfeed needs a LOT of improvement on monitoring bots and very young kids. Every comment section I go into has quite a few bots, as well as kiddos saying “I’m 8 but this quiz said I’m a millennial” or something similar, which really shouldn’t be happening, since buzzfeed is an adult website with adult content (violence and disturbing photos in some stories, as well as sexually explicit stories/content).

App has frequent bugs, content has gone downhill. Buzzfeed has become full of overused and boring content and more recently, bad faith journalism and flat-out misinformation. The articles are lazy, completely under-researched, biased, poorly written, and often hardly readable. I used to really like Buzzfeed but the content has decreased in quality and all of their gift guides and shopping articles just recycle the same 20-or-so products. The quizzes are broken a lot of the time and app crashes often and logs me out at least a few times a week for no reason. I still like some of the content, but overall I’m very disappointed in way Buzzfeed has turned into. Update: some bugs have been fixed, but overall, not a really any noticeable improvement. Also, with the newest update, they’ve completely changed the formatting and layout of the app which is truly unnecessary and annoying. The top and bottom tool bars on the screen have swapped and some features have been removed entirely. There was no issue with how it was formatted before. Update II: Now the homepage is no longer in chronological order so I see the same days or weeks old articles at the very top instead of the most recent ones. It’s frustrating because I’ve already read/seen most of the things that are being featured. I wish it would go back to being chronological.

Great! A few glitches.. I really love this app, and I’m on it all the time, but I have noticed that whenever you do a quiz with the questions that automatically move you down, when you touch your screen, it automatically moves you back to where you were and you have to scroll back down. Not a major problem, just slightly annoying. Also, if you could make it where you don’t have to have a Facebook to have an account that’d be really nice. And maybe if you could make it where you can create a quiz or post from a smartphone or tablet. Those are just some recommendations, but I really love this app and highly recommend it for anyone who likes taking quizzes, reading about celebrities, or reading current news.

I like the content, BUT.... I love the majority of what buzzfeed has to offer. It is a very fun sight and I love their videos (particularly Lady Like, As/Is, and The Try Guys) What I have noticed and has bothered me quite a bit though is logging in was extremely hard, it would bring me to the website and work and then I’d go to the app and it wasn’t logged in so I would try again and it wouldn’t. I want to be logged in so I can bookmark stuff I need later. Long story short even when trying to make a new account it was a hassle and it wasn’t the first time. But... today for the first time it worked (after messing with it for a while) and guess what it said... “Buzzfeed is having trouble accessing your bookmarks. Try again later.” I did all that to bookmark something and I couldn’t... I tried again “later” task killed it and everything and still said the same thing... I am frustrated, please fix this bug or tell me what I am doing wrong buzzfeed cause I’ve had enough.

Was good at first, but.... I honestly love this app. I spend a lot of my free time on it. After a few months of having it, I finally created an account and it made me love it even more!!! Then, it told me that I was randomly signed out of my account. I kept forgetting my password, so I kept having to go back and reset it. Happened at least 5 times before I finally gave up. Today, I decided to log back in again so that I could have the same opportunities that I did. I selected “forgot my password”, and entered my email. Took me to a link and said “sorry, your password reset failed.” Had to go back and press “forgot my password” a few more times. NEVER GOT SENT AN EMAIL!!! Finally gave up, so now I’m without an account.

Buzzfeed. I love buzzfeed!! The quizzes are probably my favorite part. I have definently taken over a million... any ways, I have told many of my friends about this, and I’ve quizzed a lot of them, I would recommend buzzfeed to anyone. Also, the other day I was looking through some of my old magazines, and the quizzes I found in the magazines reminded me a lot of buzzfeed 🤔. I guess that’s not important. But, a lot of the buzzfeed quizzes give true answers. I just took one to find out what type of dog I should get, and I got pit-bull. Funny thing is, I actually already have a pit and am about to get another!! Thank you buzzfeed!! You are AMAZING!! 🥳🤪🤩😎🥰😆🎶😄🤣😇😜

5 to 2 stars.... Buzzfeed used to get 5 stars from me, but now the articles are completely biased, swayed 100% towards literalistic views, and trashy. If you’re not a liberal, buzzfeed completely makes fun of you & your beliefs, but then claims you are close-minded and ignorant (pot calling the kettle black much???) They also do WHATEVER they can do to bash our President, & they appear to be uncouth & tasteless. Obama on paper was a terrible president, yet Buzzfeed wants to praise him & act like he’s God? It makes no sense; it’s all brainwashing. I wish articles that these people from buzzfeed write about the President & about politics was actually FACT BASED WITH SOURCES. The articles are just bitter. Also, the obsession with the Kardashians has to go... there are MUCH more important things going on in this world... hopefully buzzfeed cleans up their act or I won’t keep the app much longer.

This app is crashing faster than Elon’s Twitter takeover. This app is the literal worst now. When they embed IG photos there’s a large gap of space underneath each photo. They made that error with this app two months ago, fixed it after people complained, and now it’s exactly the same as it was before. Quizzes don’t work; literally one question shows up or the first few questions and then it just cuts off. Articles used to be organized by whichever came out most recent at the top and the older ones towards the bottom. Now it’s just a mixed up mess. You have to wade through many articles just to get one from that day even. Everything abt this app shows that Buzzfeed no longer cares and isn’t interested in its viewers complaints. If I could give zero stars a would. For a company to be as big as they are you would expect them to put more effort into their app.

Display issues on iPad and other enhancements. Some articles don’t display correctly when using the app on my iPad in portrait. They appear to be off-centered, which cuts off the right side (pictures and text). The view seems to be ok on my phone. I also wish there was a filter option to remove certain types of articles from the main stream, such as the ability to filter out quizzes and the “articles” that are thinly veiled attempts to sell products (but I’m assuming the reason this option doesn’t exist is because there would be nothing left in the main stream with these items filtered out). If no other enhancements are considered or made, PLEASE give us the ability to sort the main stream chronologically so we can view the newest articles first and not have to wade through articles from days/weeks ago that are mixed in with the newer articles. This is one of the most annoying aspects of the current set up; please consider at least adding the option to sort by most recent.

Clunker. If you need to switch apps—or even dismiss a notification, half the time—the app refreshes completely, so not only do you lose your place but you may lose the article you were reading altogether if it’s been moved around the home page, which happens constantly. Or it may have been renamed to get more clicks, which happens constantly. Or the app may crash, constantly. The content is often trash, but that’s the nature of the user-as-creator model. Recommendations increasingly feel like paid shills but aren’t labeled as such, which makes me suspicious. But none of that even matters if the app is constantly crashing, kicking me out of articles, and refuses to load instagram pics or tweets within articles, all of which happen SO many times in a 10-minute use that I’m just deleting. Not worth the frustration and battery drain.

Fun!. Buzzfeed is super fun to read and just scroll through. I love reading their lists of dumbest people or cutest dogs or whatever, but recently, I’ll select an article to read, scroll down past maybe 5 photos, and then the rest of the article pictures NEVER load, not even after I reboot the app. Not sure if that’s a problem on my end or not, but it started recently. I’ve been using buzzfeed every day for years. Love the content. You do have to take their articles with a grain of salt because they can be EXTREMELY one sided and sometimes kind of rude to the subject they’re talking about, but that’s the media for you.

I hate it. So I can’t even get on the app the first time I tried to download it I couldn’t and then it broke my phone because after I tried downloading it, it wouldn’t then I went to go see if my cellular data being turned on for other things was the problem but it wouldn’t download so I got rid of it but when I went to go turn my cellular data back on it wouldn’t work. It’s been broken for months. Now I went to go see if maybe it’s that I need to finish downloading it but it said I already had the app even though it showed up with the sign that mean I tried to download it before or I had it before and got rid of it. So pretty much it was a update. When it finished I couldn’t find the app on my phone. So now I have a broken phone and sometimes the app will pop up and say waiting like it’s trying to download but never will. To top it all off the only way to get into the app is through the App Store and one nothing loads and two it treats me like I already made an account but I never did. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It’s terrible don’t get it.

This app is my rock😍. Before this app I had always used the website which was glitchy and unsatisfying so this app was great! I love going on here when I’m bored, sad, looking for a laugh, or interested in a certain topic. The animal section is my favorite and it is the highlight of my day. Only a few issues though, for one they have some issues in the documents for some posts if you open it the content will be stuck on the right side of the screen and you can’t see half of the text/pictures also for certain quizzes it will glitch when you press and mark your answer incorrect or also for quizzes it will not give you a result occasionally. One heads up is the new posts aren’t that close together new content takes a while most often the next day, otherwise great app for commuting and at home! You should definitely try it out!

App used to be good, content is still okay, too many ads now. I used to flip through BuzzFeed everyday. I still like the articles, but the ads on the app now are ridiculous. The number of ads have increased dramatically over the years. Now, several ads disguise themselves as BuzzFeed articles. On one of the recent updates, I have had an issue with the app. I have the settings set so videos don’t auto-play, but just scrolling pass a video ad, which will always auto-play regardless of your settings, will cause my music or podcast to stop playing. This is the most frustrating for me. I understand that your company needs the ad revenue, but the fact that even with my decision for videos to not auto-play, it still interferes with my other, unrelated apps is infuriating.

Could be much better. Aside from the fact that I am constantly logged out of the app (having to log back in every couple of days irrespective of whether I have commented or not) which is a huge frustration, I am so annoyed that Buzzfeed had made the advertisements so sensitive. If my thumb accidentally touches any article surrounding a advertisement suddenly safari launches based on the ad. I knew buzzfeed was going south when it publicly laid off so many employees but making advertisements so insanely sensitive for mobile devices is an absurd and disgusting practice. Add to that the abject disinterest in actually removing the spam posts that dominate their comment sections (CLEAR spam - “work from home and make $90,000 a year!!!”)...Buzzfeed is truly a frustration now.

Video Auto-Play. I love BuzzFeed, and I spend quite a bit of time reading articles, taking quizzes, etc... A few updates ago, BuzzFeed appears to have taken away my ability to stop videos from auto-playing, which I hate because (1) if I’m off WiFi, I’m wasting data and (2) my phone is a tad older (iPhone 6 Plus) so the app ran smoother when I could stop auto-play. With how the app has been reformatted on the main page (articles interspersed with videos and ads) and then ads places within the articles, the app is just clunky and glitchy. I find myself having to restart the app often or the app just crashes on its own. I want to be able to stop auto-play again so I can enjoy this app like I used to. I agree with those that find the Twitter links annoying, but honestly if I could get the app to function properly, without crashing or slowing down for longer than 10 minutes, it would be amazing.

One issue!!. I LOVE buzzfeed. The articles are both informative and hilarious, and the quizzes are entertaining and great time wasters. I also love scrolling through comments on the app. However, one issue I have is that certain articles or comment sections cause the app to crash. Every time I access that specific article or comment section, the app just shuts down and I am unable to read the article or comments. I love buzzfeed, but I miss out on a bunch of great articles and comments!! This problem has gone on since I’ve downloaded the app in April-ish. And if a developer reads this, thank you for your time and I love your app!!

Good but ads were a buz kill........ I loved this app so much and I have watched my here academia for actually about 1 year now waiting just for another season to come out so I was so exited about this!....until it was a lot of fun until there were adds popping up and down and they suprised me and my music. It was just adds were popping up like nobody’s business. It was getting on my nerves so I decided to actually watch it over again. I was bendge watching this for like about like 1 week and then another anime. At first I thought that it was gonna be an amazing app. I mean you can turn your WiFi off but then you need to just go through the hassle of turning it back on. I didn’t believe the reports or review’s at first but now I do, get this app if you want to have adds. Love, Anime lover!

Nothing more than a marketing tool for buyers and sellers. This app used to be fun and interesting, it has now clearly become a marketing tool for corporate sellers, using cartoon-quizzes to obtain info on the buyers and peddle even more products to the American consumer. You’ll be overwhelmed by the amount of retail oriented and store buying. This app is no more than a tool to obtain consumer information and to know which products to sell to you. Sure, a couple of funny articles but the rest of the content offered is all “buy this” and “big box retailer wants to know which leather wallet are you” Very poor performance, constant crashes and reloads, the whole experience is trash and I would never recommend this app to anyone older than 10 years old. What a way to destroy the app Buzzfeed - I will not be subjected to an endless stream of products to buy, buy, buy.

Same articles with different names. I use Buzzfeed fairly often, but it’s time for them to stop renaming their articles to get more people to click on them. I HATE trying to read something thinking it’s new only for it to be the same article I read two hours ago but with a different title. Also, if you’re reading an article on the actual website - do NOT count on the blur to work for graphic images. It does nothing to cover them up and needs to be fixed ASAP. It works fine for the app, but not the computer. In addition, a large portion of what they publish has become tasteless and 100% biased to the liberal side. I’m all for different opinions, but Buzzfeed has turned into a site to bash anybody who disagrees with that side. I also don’t like articles that post about things that certain races are “ruining.” It’s racist regardless of what race is being discussed, and it’s not something of quality to read.

BRING BACK FACEBOOK COMMENTS!. I don’t know why Buzzfeed decided to get rid of the Facebook comment section (i.e. leaving comments using the Facebook plugin) on its app, but now you the app automatically forces you to only use the built-in buzzfeed comment section (which is absolutely terrible). The buzzfeed in-app comment section makes starting any dialogue impossible. It’s harder to follow conversations because you can’t see who is responding to who, or if a sub-comment is responding to the original comment or to another sub-comment. You also can’t go back and edit (or even delete) comments after you post them like you could with the Facebook plugin comment section. The comment section used to be where actual conversations were had about the articles and you could read and respond to other people’s opinions, but every since getting rid of the Facebook comment section, the app just isn’t really weren’t opening anymore except to play quizzes or watch videos. I’ll probably delete it soon.

Tweets in an Article. The app is great, except it’s really annoying when an article links over to someone’s personal twitter account (like Best Tweets from Women This Week). I don’t know if my settings are just off, but I hate that I have to click the link under each tweet to finish reading the entire thing. Clicking the link redirects me to the mobile site, which then redirects me to the app, which then pauses before pulling up that person’s account. I then have to clear each tab out, one for every link I clicked on. Which is fine, except it’ll redirect me back to Twitter again, before I have the time to clear the tab. It’s like 9-step process to be able to read one tweet in an article.

Would be 4.5 Stars But. This app would be phenomenal if they would fix one tiny SIMPLE issue; the links to the tweets. Buzzfeed’s prime article sources are liars of funny tweets but something in the past couple of months (I assume related to the increase in characters available for tweets) has made it so that some tweets require you to click on it and get linked to your twitter app or twitter website and it is just annoying! It also kind of kills the funniness of the tweet when I have to scroll back and forth between the two apps. I’m extremely annoyed that this issue has not been resolved because I am not the only one that has complained about it. Every article I read at least 5 comments are complaining about the new link up. If this were to be fixed I would give buzzfeed 4.5 stars. Would have been 5 but they’ve already taken too long to fix the problem.

Improved Quite a Bit. Consistent and reliable. I find the user made content and interaction somewhat interesting. I’m trying to make quizzes now. I might hope people enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve taken. Previous or past use was sadly very political and I absolutely left the site because of it. The staff would try hard to press their political agenda in almost every post during an election. I would go to buzzfeed to relax and read mindless things like “I can predict what you ate last night”. I certainly didn’t want to go in there and read MORE of what I was trying to avoid. I rate this app and site highly for the content it delivers now. I would however of rated it quite low back when it irritated me with politics. I’m talking like two stars most likely.

5 Stars If Comments Are Improved. First of all, the whole comment section needs to be completely revamped. Make it more similar to Facebook so, you can like, reply, and be notified when someone replies. (Because honestly buzzfeed why have a reply option if the other person isn’t notified??) and it would be great to have a notification page within your profile somewhere to view who liked or replied to your comments. Also please move that report button, I’ve accidentally reported 2 people in the past few hours just scrolling.

I love this app but pls change this. I love app so much. I go on it longer then I go on tik tok. Do I do have one suggestion. When I first got the app I divided to search up the umbrella academy it said nothing was found I found it weird so I just did the quizzes I found. After I found out that you had to be very specific in your searches. Instead of putting the umbrella academy I have to put we will guess which umbrella academy member you are by this quest I just got done with season 2. Like that makes me mad because of how specific it is. Like how are we going to now what to search if we have to be specific with every little detail. There should be a search bottom for specific and a search bottom for non specific. Pls make this change if you do I would give this app a 5 star review. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 From a person

Everything is an ad. This app has changed over the past couple of years, and it has become one giant platform for ads. Every other “article” is a shopping guide, and every other “quiz” is an ad for a store where you pick a few items from Store X to see whether you’ll find love next year (rolls eyes). I understand that Buzzfeed has to make money and that it is a business, but c’mon. I feel bombarded with ads to buy this and that, like I’m not already flooded with ads from everywhere else. The quality of content has gone down despite their growing presence as real journalists. I’m happy that Buzzfeed is growing, but they need to stop treating their readers and viewers like a heard of cash cows. The Buzzfeed I knew and grew to love is now gone, and I am left disappointed and annoyed every time I open the app. TDLR: this app is just posts and posts of ads, with a chunk of non-ad posts being content reposted from Twitter and Tumblr, and a hint of news articles that you can get on Twitter.

Not always user friendly. Constantly logs me out which is super annoying. I hate that now you can swipe between articles because I used to swipe to get back to the main page. Now I have to stretch my thumb or use my other hand to reach the “back” button. I’m also not interested in Australia’s news but for some reason it randomly pops up then once I click on one (unknowingly), I get a bunch in my mix. I’ve also noticed recently that super old articles are near the top of my main page. Not only are they not new, but I’ve already read them. But it’s hard to know if I read it because the titles of the articles and the thumbnails are constantly changing. I get in the habit of checking every date now when I open something. I do love the content and my main page is usually very good.

App reloads to front page. I think this might be an issue with a recent update within the last 6 months or so. Sometimes I will briefly leave the app to check on a text message or do additional research about something I’m interested in that Buzzfeed doesn’t include in the article. However, I will go back to the app and instead of seeing the same article I was just looking at, I am taken to the front page of the app. It doesn’t save my place in the article, and then I have to scroll all the way down to find the article and then scroll within the article to find where I left off. At this point I wonder if this is happening intentionally so Buzzfeed gets more traffic to articles... Either way, please fix this; it’s irritating enough that I will permanently remove the app pretty soon if it keeps happening.

Freezes constantly. Poor editing.. This review is supposed to be of the app itself, and while generally user-friendly, I can tell you this app freezes on me at least once a day, requiring a force quit and restart. The content itself, while entertaining, lacks the remotest attention to editing. The “serious” news and feature articles are the only bits of this site that get a single second eye on them. Even in the headlines, many of the articles often have easily fixable grammar and spelling mistakes, which would have been caught if a single person who made it through Journalism 101 would have taken a single glance at it before pressing the publish button. Buzzfeed, none of your journalism is EVER going to be taken seriously as long as it appears next to top ten lists with mistakes in the headlines and formatting issues in the article itself. You can do better.

Absolute Garbage. I understand some people who use the app are respectable people. They do not agree with me and I with them.I have no quarrel with them. I also understand my opinion is nearly worthless. The people who are in charge of Buzzfeed - those are the ones I have beef with. Instead of honoring cultural landmarks (IE: Barney, Spongebob) and respectable public figures who genuinely loved the community (Karl Stephan, rest in piece), they slander these for publicity. Alongside this, they are openly hostile towards an entire social media app after only one community expressed a distaste for them. And for this, I have lost all respect for those in charge of Buzzfeed and the app/website as a whole. These kinds of people are the kind to shout loud and ignore the words around them. They are part of the loud, divisive minorities that prevent legitimate conversation and enjoyment from happening.

this app hates my phone. I never write reviews, but the couple of times I used this app made my phone heat up so fast, lag terribly, and is too sensitive to any touch. I got bored and wanted to do quizzes without my browser locking up from all the ads. This most recent time I had the app open for five minutes and I tried to screenshot something. That took about 30 seconds to register and then it stopped responding all together. My phone wouldn’t go into sleep mode, and when it finally did, it wouldn’t turn back on for five minutes. I had to turn off my bluetooth to get it to open again. It was still lagging the entire time until I managed to enter my passcode and close the app. This phone isn’t exactly new, but this has only happened to this extent when using the buzzfeed app. It behaved similarly every other time I used it too. Oh well

Odd problem. I’ve been experiencing a problem lately with some articles. If they have a tiktok video embedded, the video somehow becomes offset and goes slightly offscreen... and then the bottom of the video expands the entire time I’m on the page. I have to continually scroll to read anything below the tiktok or else I eventually end up with nothing but white. It makes it very hard to read, as many lists and even some news articles have these videos in them. I attempted to go to the buzzfeed page in the news app and the articles in question don’t even show up in there. I’m not sure what’s causing this issue, but it’s been happening long enough that even my non-reviewing self had to say something. I am going to try a few more things on my end, but I doubt my phone is the issue.

Gets worse with every update. So Buzzfeed was never going to be a perfect thing or some super fancy publication and that’s all good. It was still enjoyable enough and entertaining. On the other hand… It’s fallen down in the basics of editing articles to be understandable for the “outrage” and other very basic editing. The pop up ads used to be manageable in the app but now take over half the screen and pop up videos you can’t option out of while trying to read the article and instead take up a decent portion of screen space. And the only way to get rid of the ads is to pay them. The app also drains battery like no other. I can play a game for twice as long as I was on the app and it won’t drain half the amount of battery. That and the search function that used to be a regular functional search function now just throws whatever at you whether it’s part of the search criteria or not, and leaves out articles that would actually fit in the search. There are so many things I could add, but I’m tired of this poorly managed app that gets worse with every update. And a poorly managed and edited publication. Get the app if you want, but realize that it’s garbage that’s only getting worse

love/hate situation.. i love buzzfeed for the quizzes and articles but i am SICK of getting notifications of spoilers from shows/movies that i am currently watching or going to watch. it makes me so mad and there’s nothing i can do about it. if you are going to put out notifications or specifically.. spoilers on shows or movies, don’t put out a notification written in a way that spoils the show. for example, i just got a notification on who gossip girl is on gossip girl and i haven’t finished the show yet and now all i can do is be mad about it. there isn’t anything suspense now that it’s spoiled so what’s the point in watching anymore. what you could’ve done with the notification is “gossip girl was supposed to be who?” instead of flat out saying who it is. please do better with the spoilers for notifications because i don’t want to have to turn off notifications for the app just to finish a show that hasn’t been spoiled by buzzfeed. that’s all i am asking. besides that it’s a great app.

I miss the old buzzfeed. I first started using buzzfeed about 4 years ago and absolutely loved it. To this day, I still love most of the content as I find it provides a way to stay informed about things I care about while also offering a sort of release with its silly articles and quizzes. However, the addition of ad content has absolutely ruined the site. The app is so glitchy now. Every day, sometimes multiple times a day, the app freezes and kicks me off. I can’t even log into my account and bookmark things now, for reasons I don’t understand. I understand buzzfeed has to make money, but the changes to the app have hands down made it a less enjoyable experience to say the least. It’s my hope that at the very least the developers continue to work to make the app more functional, since we all know they’ll never ditch the ads. Super disappointed over all.

The worst kind of journalism. All this site does is write nonsense worth nothing content. They try to hook you in by making things sound interesting but really is just a boring pile of nothing they dress up as important and interesting. The writers aren’t talented enough to write anything worth while or interesting. They are full of bias and are just digging for clicks and views without giving a reason for you to stay. They are clearly targeting the weak minded and exploiting them for their own self gain. They pretend to be inclusive but really bash anyone who isn’t stupid enough be on this worth nothing app. They are perfect example of the problem with entertainment today. If you are considering downloading this app don’t it’s horrible and leading the world to a horrible headline oriented, click with no content world. Large waste of time, money and resources. Huge disappointment to this world.

Real bad. They call out websites that may or may not be named reddit for “teaching young men to hate women” and yet get angry when anyone else points out their hypocrisy and stupidity. Then they get defensive and call it cyberbullying when people point out their bull. They forget that not only men, but women and every other gender that a person can identify as can, and do, also use reddit. Let’s forget every positive thing that can come from a website, let’s steal things from subreddits such as ask reddit and make an article about it. Buzzfeed tries to be “cool with the youth” and instead writes five articles on what bean or type of bread you are. Any self respecting person should steer clear and focus on real, unbiased news, or even news that is more interesting than what prom dress you are based off of you’re favorite cake.

Not working anymore. I would always use buzzfeed and i had my account with google and everything. but recently it wanted me to log in to use my account which is no biggie, so i type in my password and everything and it doesn’t let me log in. i try every possible password i could have used (even though the password was saved in my phone which always works when i log in) i even try reseting my password which doesn’t work and the reset like won’t sent to my phone. so i just thought lemme just wait and see if this all blows over or whatever and it will let me sign in again tomorrow. it doesn’t and it’s been like this for about a week now and i just want my account back, i have soooo many bookmarked things and i just want it back. also i’ve even tried logging in with another gmail and that doesn’t even work! so idk what’s going on but i want it fixed. PLEASE

“Failing pile of garbage”. Buzzfeed is literally the worst site I have ever had the misfortune of stumbling upon. Their articles used to be entertaining, and I’ll admit that I still love Buzzfeed Unsolved, but most of their content has become mind-numbingly stupid over the past few years. It’s extremely politically-biased and more concerned with championing ~diversity~ than producing readable content. I understand that Buzzfeed is primarily an entertainment website, but even their “humorous” articles are so cringy that I feel simultaneously embarrassed for the writers and disgusted that someone is getting paid to write about nasty tweets, things white people do, or the best sex toys on the market over and over again. In addition to getting most of their content from Twitter and Tumblr, the writers also seem to copy from each other, or at least recycle the same asinine content over and over. This site is anti-intellectual garbage and it’s only getting worse.

I love this website but it doesn’t love me. When I first wanted to make an account, it took me three weeks. I tried every way possible and it finally took me going to a computer (couldn’t use my phone) to make an account. Yes, you can use the app without an account but I wanted to bookmark my favorite things. I’ve never commented, never posted so I don’t think I’ve been blocked or sm but now, I CAN’T LOG IN. I’ve been logged out and my assumption was to reset my password, right? Well, it won’t send the email, and when I went to the FAQ and clicked the link as to why I didn't get the email, it just redirected me to the top. I want to be a member but I don’t want to fight every step of the way. Please, PLEASE make it easier for people to sign in and make accounts, etc. I like the quizzes I like the posts but it obviously doesn’t like me. Deleting the app, if I can’t log in then why bother?

I was happy.... I have used this app every day without any real issue until now. Whenever I tap on an article, quiz, or anything the page never fully loads anymore. If it’s a list, I get the first 3 or 4 items with the pictures and the rest is blank. If it’s an article, sometimes all of the written article will show, sometimes only half. If there are pictures in the article, I am lucky if 2 or 3 of the pictures show up. I have tried erasing and re-downloading the app, but it didn’t help. It’s getting to the point where I am starting to look for another app to replace this one. I have always liked the content the buzzfeed app offers but only being able to see half of an article is a huge problem. I don’t see the point in keeping this app much longer if I cannot see the content.

Love, but something new i don’t like. I really love browsing this app when I’m mindlessly watching tv or want to check out an interesting article. I love the balance between actual news and mindless entertainment and listicles. However, I’ve recently noticed that the app is showing me articles from months before. I will think it’s something new and click it, but realize it’s from March. I don’t mind this happening once in a while when something is relevant again or it’s trending, but it gets quite annoying when all i see on the homepage are articles from months before. Besides that i really do love the layout of this app!

Liked the older versions of the app. I’ve had the Buzzfeed app for a while now and I think the app and the content have gone downhill since it started. On the main feed, I feel like every other article is now a sponsored list of products disguised as something a list of “life changing stuff you need”. What’s frustrating about this is they took away the video button on the bottom navigation to make a shopping bottom. All those shopping articles are under the shopping button, but they’re also on the main home feed taking away from actual content people want to view. Now you have to sort through all the sponsored shopping articles to find the fun/interesting content they used to be known for. I understand that they need ads to pay their bills, but it’s a shame they sold out to advertisers and their content has suffered at its expense.

Love it. I loved buzzfeed the moment I got it. First I was all in to the quizzes and the articles. Then I found ladylike and As/Is I love the positive vibes both shows give. It seems that all there shows make me laugh when I am feeling down. Someday I hope to give women equal rights to men and Ladylike and As/Is has showed me that’s possible. Along with their videos I love the sim hundred baby challenge. Kelsey is so hysterical. I can’t wait for her videos to come out every Sunday. I love Chelsy and the kids. You know what you did.. Let’s not even try to get into the years of people hating you because of your bias feminist bs. Let’s talk about your most recent offense. The war you just started with Reddit. Just so you know, Reddit is a platform that has the sympathy to be accepting of others and also has half the mind to know that some views are just stupid or have been taken to bias and hypocrisy. You on the other hand believe that all publicly is good publicity and don’t have the self awareness to know that everyone hates you, the only redeemable thing you have in your entire company is the Unsolved series with Shane and Ryan that show is so good in fact that people are suggesting that they split away from Buzzfeed and start their show on their own because of how much your garbage content clashes with there quality content. Also your app is glitchy, ad-ridden garbage.

Please fix the many bugs!. I usually love Buzzfeed, it’s always been my favorite time-killer. But lately the app has been so difficult to use it’s not even worth it! When I go on the app, it depletes my battery 30% in 5-10 minutes, and makes my phone burning hot! After browsing a little it inevitably crashes and force-quits. No pictures from Instagram ever show up in any of the articles, they’re just grey blank squares. And the ads have made even just scrolling so difficult because the main screen constantly rearranges itself. And given how long this issue has been around, you’d think you’d have found a way to fix it; most of the time when I try to post a comment it either says I can’t, or does post it for a second but when I go back to look it’s disappeared! Same thing with likes and dislikes, they stay for a second but don’t stick. PLEASE fix your app, Buzzfeed. The comments and ads are one thing, but if your app keeps messing up my phone I won’t be able to use the app at all anymore!

Refreshes so fast. I like the app and the content it has but hate how if you leave the app for more than a few minutes (maybe 5) it refreshes and you lose where you were.

Tries a bit too hard. It's a well put together app with some good, relatable, and humorous content. However, Buzzfeed gives off an air of trying just a bit too hard to be relatable. Sometimes it's content is just a little bit too over the top to be considered enjoyable.

Buzzfeed. The app updates very easily with new quizzes being launched almost every minute so you could spend hours on it without getting bored! The quizzes are enjoyable to complete but are next level superficial a lot of the the time. So if you’re looking to do something by very casual on a Friday night this is the a app. Also quite easy to use, but needs internet.

Auto play ads?. Used to use this app quite often up until a couple of weeks ago when ads started to auto play very loudly out of nowhere.

New update is annoying. The latest update is kind of stupid, the home page is now just a bunch of tiny pictures, most with no titles so you have no idea what to click on/what not to click on. The articles having no titles or info makes me less likely to click on them to find out what they are because I’m loaded that I can’t easily see what I might want to look at. I scroll buzzfeed to read entertaining, easy to access, content. I don’t want to have to “hunt down” my own entertainment by clicking on tiny pictures one by one to find something to read or look at. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

FIX IT!!!. Normally love this app. It’s awesome and entertaining and easy to use...BUT all of a sudden the quiz page won’t work!! Nothing loads. I have tried restarting the app. Restarting my phone. Restarting my internet. The only thing that doesn’t work is the buzzfeed quiz page on the app. So please fix it!!!

Doesn’t work. Half of the articles I click on don’t work... I can’t see the pictures. And majority of the quizzes aren’t working either, so frustrating. I’ve had the app for years and it’s always worked relatively fine however over the last month there have been so many little bugs and issues. I continuously update the new apps but it makes no difference.

Great App. Buzz feed is a fantastic app I mostly just do the quizzes on it and their great. It would be totally even better if we could make our own quizzes and if there could be like a chat box at the end of each quiz to see what other people think about it. But overall it’s a fantastic app I would totally recommend it and is very addictive.

Auto play video ads have taken over. App was good to kill some time in the train, now these auto play video ads have made it impossible to listen to music and scroll, the audio from the ads takes over even if you leave the page. Terrible user experience, wouldn’t recommend downloading this until it’s fixed.

Glitching. Loved it originally, however the app’s started to freeze regularly and exit out of the app. It’s very frustrating to have to refresh because then I have to find my article again. :( would love if you could fix it because it’s a great app otherwise...

It can be inappropriate. Make sure if you do get this app you are at least over 12/13 because it has got some quizzes on there that are very inappropriate, just be careful kids.

Some glitches and bugs. Sometimes there are some bugs and glitches when I am trying to make a quiz. Love it!. I have started using this buzzfeed app more than any other app. Including Instagram, Snapchat etc. I honestly love finding out what the horoscope of my favourite pizza is at 3am in the morning! Keep making more quizzes!! Especially with TV shows because those are my favs.

Improvements needed. Overall the app delivers what it says BuzzFeed articles, quizzes and videos. However as new ones do appear frequently you’re often stuck filtering through a lot of the same things that pop up for weeks and even months at a time. Glitches: many times the app has randomly crashed when trying to open anything. Many times the articles embedded photos are unable to be viewed or they haven’t been embedded properly and distort the entire size of the page.

How could you do this to me. My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this app gave me cancer anyway.

Problems with some of the quizzes. Some of the quizzes that have the fill ins I put the right answers and when I click guess it says that it’s wrong.

Not very customizable. I could do with significantly more filters for what appears in the feed. I have no interest in celebrity culture and have to scroll past spammy Kardashian articles every day. It’s also inexcusable that the articles targeted the United States, United Kingdom AND Australia all fall under the same heading. Selecting “United States” as your country does nothing to remove these irrelevant articles from the feed. Finally, many of the article titles are lacking in editorial review. The word “literally” is used incorrectly in titles on a regular basis.

BuzzFeed Review. BuzzFeed seems like a very good music industry source to able to connect and learn more about the industry with the lasted articles it has to offer. Some may say that the articles are one sided but in my opinion I believe that everyone can voice their opinion it’s up to you the user to do your research. Facts about BuzzFeed is that they also offer video that goes from jokes and funny things to food. I think that Buzzfeed is really made to have a laugh out your day it helps keep the humor in the industry.

Login glitch STILL hasn’t been fixed. The glitch that won’t let some people log in (including me of course) STILL hasn’t been taken care of after TWO recent updates that supposedly fixed “many” glitches. These updates have told us that it was due to us telling them what glitches need to be fixed and if anything, they’re only minor glitches. We whom have been experiencing the login glitch have been telling them NUMEROUS times about it but still nothing has been done about it. One of the big things about Buzzfeed is allowing us to express our opinions about their articles, BUT WE CAN’T DO THAT IF WE CANNOT LOG IN. BF is standing of thin ice with me and I know I’m not the only one thinking this.

Fix the Bugs. I love this app and I do the quizzes almost everyday, but lately there have been some bugs. First on quizzes it will automatically scroll down to the next question and when you tap the screen it goes back up to the previous question. This can become very annoying. Also at times I get kicked off the Buzzfeed app. This is a problem when you are reading an article and lose your place or when you are taking a quiz and it messes you up. This is my only problem with the app so if you fix the bugs I would rate it five stars.

Constructive criticism. Can you make the ads WAY less sensitive than they are? It’s absolutely infuriating how many times you’re redirected by an ad when you’re just trying to casually scroll through an article. Then you have to close it and go back over and over and over again, because you keep accidentally hitting the dang ad! Buzzfeed, I love ya, but listen to the people please. I can see I’m not the only one annoyed by this. And while I’m asking for things, this new “3 replies per comment” thing is weird. Then the comment threads make no sense. Can we go back to seeing all replies? I like that they’re being filtered by popularity though. That was a good update.

What is happening to buzzfeed. Why can't you comment on any of the articles anymore?! Also the stories are only good about 50% of the time now I used to come to buzzfeed for all things tabloid and news but the articles just aren't that good anymore. I don't care about most of the topics. When they try to interview people, many of the articles are followed with "XYZ did not return request for comment" and there aren't any comments anymore. You post news articles addressing a situation and no one can even state their opinion which was half the fun of reading buzzfeed articles

Glitches on glitches on glitches. A lot of glitches recently. App will freeze in the middle of me reading an article, sometimes will force close on its own but sometimes I have to open and close it multiple times for it to start working again. When taking quizzes it is supposed to move you down to the next question but often it’ll immediately go back up to the question you just answered. On articles linked with twitter or reddit posts half of them don’t show on the app, you have to click the link to fully see the post.

I love Buzzfeed but.... I can’t login since I deactivated my Facebook. I’ve tried logging in with my Google account, my email, starting a new account (which I can’t do since my email is already affiliated with my old account), recovering my password (the password reset email never comes through) and therefor I can’t save articles and interact with posts like I’d like to. I see links to email technical support but no page ever loads so I haven’t been able to address this with a human that can help me and the FAQ are not helpful, or, as in the technical support situation, appear to be dead links. It’s been months of this. Highly disappointing.

new update bug 😬. so yeah this app is great but I’m just coming here to let the developers or whoever know that, that new update you just launched? the one to organize stuff better? yeah it has a bug. every time I finish a quiz I try to exit out or select a new one at the bottom and the buttons don’t work. instead it makes you sit there for like 5 seconds then just kicks you out of the app. please fix🙂

One sided journalism. I CAN NOT read any more of this name calling and segregation. If you want “unity”, try getting some authors that can actually write about it in their articles. I am a republican that doesn’t vote straight party tickets, I vote for candidates. I raise my children to respect the office of president no matter who is elected. If my children are raised to become a different party than myself, then I did an amazing job as a parent because I didn’t impose my own views on my children. I raised my children to be independent thinkers on facts alone. My teenagers have some Republican views, but can’t share it with their friends for fear that they will lose those friendships. Does it come from parents? Absolutely. My kids godparents are Democrats and we debate and spend every holiday together. We don’t have to agree, but we still get along and our children see that although we don’t see eye to eye with other parties, it doesn’t change who the other people are. Please put aside the bias in your articles. I get a little bias, but it’s too much.

Log In Issues?. I don’t care to ever write reviews, but this issue is really bugging me. I’ve had the app on my phone for a solid 2 years, and throughout that time I’ve had instances on multiple occasions where it randomly logs me out and says, “Sign In Error.” At a certain point I just gave up logging into my account, and using the app as a whole. I haven’t been logged in for well over 9 months. It’s a shame that an app with such potential is not being used to its fullest ability, because of an elementary school issue that, apparently, a crap ton of people are facing.

Potentially okay. The app is very cluttered and the videos are annoying and if you don’t want to watch them but still use the app, they are still put right in front of your face. There’s already a tab for them so it feels bad to have them on the main page as well. The new swipe left and right to move between articles is poorly implemented. It’s not a way that people want to read articles, especially when they can scroll and see what’s there. If there is a triggering article people can have it forced on them by a scroll registering as left or right instead of up or down, which happens about half the time. Not good. Not going to use until it’s changed.

Kind of frustrated. As much as I love taking all the fun quizzes and reading random articles I still have some problems. When I am trying to make an account or log into an account it says there was an error. So I can not save things, make comments, etc. I have tried many times to fix this but it just keeps saying there was an error even on my laptop I had this problem. Besides that I enjoy my experience on this app and I do recommend it to my friends and family.

Love it!!!. I downloaded this app after a few months of a daily story from Buzzfeed on Snapchat. I wish I had done it sooner! The app has so many articles, and very few of them are boring. You can search almost anything, from scary stories, people’s real life experiences with certain topics, the latest news, life hacks, and even cute pictures of animals to make your day better. I highly recommend it if you get easily bored!

Overall good and fun app. The app is visually appealing, easy to use, and overall a good experience. I love going on buzzfeed when I’m bored at school or in a waiting room, stuff like that. I’ve made account so I can like, comment, and bookmark stuff for later. My only complaint is that every time I update the app, it logs me out and I have to log in again. It’s minor, but I have a lot of passwords to keep track off so it’s kind of a hassle to have to go and look for my login info. Overall I think buzzfeed is really entertaining and I definitely recommend!

could be better. I love buzzfeed and am on it all the time. What can I say? It’s addicting. The classic quizzes are my favorite. (shocker😂) I am in love with this. I have had the app since December and don’t know why I didn’t have it before. Judging by the title, you are probably curious about what I have to rant about. about a half of the quizzes I open close and take me back to my homescreen, not allowing me to take the quiz. I try over and over, but it still does not open. Please fix this so I can go back to loving this app 100% instead of 80%! Thanks💯👍

Love app and website, one suggestion.... I really enjoy the app and it is one of my favorites for both entertainment and news. My suggestion is to lengthen the twitter posts in lists. It is so frustrating to have to click on a twitter link that opens a new page just to read a few more words or something. Can’t the whole post be in the list? Otherwise, no other complaints! Keep up the good work! (Maybe less Kardashians too, come on people, stop clicking on them)

Can’t log in. I love Buzzfeed and love the app, but I can’t log into it from this app. I made an account the old fashioned way on Safari using my Google account, but it didn’t let me sign in on the app. I figured it was because there isn’t a Google account option on the app (which is another problem), so I made a new account using a different email. And yes, the email was real. I tried logging into that account from the app—nothing. This is extremely frustrating, seeing as I can’t bookmark anything without being signed in. Edit: Whenever I go to any article, the app crashes. C’mon, Buzzfeed...

Decent but buggy. I like the layout of the app and that i can pretty much browse whatever i feel like at the time. But I'm also having a few issues. Oftentimes posts don't load properly - with either a grey box for photos or no photos at all - and there's no way to refresh the page. (It's not my internet, trust me!) Posts linking to instagram may, without any prompting, bump me to instagram in-app, sometimes several times in a row (I just had to quit the app on account of being stuck on a screen continually playing the "moving you to a new app/page" animation). Besides these bugs, I do wish there was a clearer way to customize my feed with my interests!

Used to love this app. This app would have received 4-5 stars (possibly 4, due to sign in issues), BUT due to the controversial articles that are borderline racist, I’ve lost interest in the app. While I appreciate freedom of speech and bringing to light the issues surrounding our nation, I do not appreciate articles like, “37 Things White People Need to Stop Ruining in 2018.” The definition of racism is the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics specific to that race. This article does exactly that, generalizing that all “white people” do the 37 things mentioned. Side note: to me, it’s not about color, as I would still be irritated if I read an article written about things African Americans need to stop ruining or Chinese people.

Bring Back Comments. If you asked me a week ago, I would have given the BuzzFeed app 5 stars. However, there was recently an update that got rid of the comments for 95% of the articles. One of my favorite parts of the BuzzFeed experience was reading the comments to see what other people think! I really do miss doing that, so if this issue is not fixed soon, I don’t see myself using BuzzFeed nearly as often. That being said, if you’re not a comment person, this is a good app to scroll through when you have free time. It’s a nice blend of actual, relevant news and fun, light-hearted content. Give it a try.

Way to biased to have fun. I downloaded this app to watch Buzzfeed Unsolved and to participate in the quizzes. I would mostly ignore the EXTREMELY biased news arrivals but they recently published one on President Trump being impeached. This is not true at all, he is being investigated but the title of the article was, “Donald Trumps impeachment, explained for the non-Americans.” Not only is the thing full of lies and opinion crammed down our throats but it’s also directed to non-Americans. While there is nothing wrong with not being American there is something wrong when people try and use their power to influence outsiders who might be wanting to come to America and live a better life. If you want to publish a news article, fine. But we don’t need your opinion. Just give the facts and let the people decide for themselves.

How I got through a few classes.. Spanish II and Science. 1) Long sleeve shirt or jacket. 4 watches. Write answers down on sticky note and taped to inside of watch. Switch up as necessary. 2) Again, sticky note with answers taped inside belt. Sides are safer. 3) White paper and white handkerchief written with yellow highlighter. Double up the handkerchief you color doesn’t show through. 4) If allowed a ball cap, just be smart. 5) If you wear glasses, you have the case along with contact cases. 6) Inside the tongue of tennis shoes. Learn to cross your legs before. 7) Retainer case if possible. Their are so many more, but you have you do some work. I’ve never had to complete all at one time, but when you work to get the respect of your teacher, answer or ask questions, seem interested, along with making a mistake or two on purpose, you’re Golden!!!

Links. The new update is whack. When I want to click links it takes me to a Buzzfeed internet thing which is fine; however, it does not allow me to open it up in other apps. Buzzfeed will post a great tweet and when I click the tweet it doesn’t open up in Twitter. Then if they post a link to something it opens in this fake internet but doesn’t allow me to open it up in safari or share it to friends please fix this or else adding links is useless.

Kind of stupid. I seem to be having a problem with the articles you guys place at the top that run through as videos. When they tell you to swipe up to get the full article or see the whole video. I can’t seem to get the page to swipe up and then it switches over to the next little video before I figure it out. I tried searching for once once to see the article but it just came nothing was found. It’s frustrating when the video is about something I’m really interested in.

Goodbye Buzzfeed. Buzzfeed has been going downhill and turned into tabloid trash for at least three last two years. Especially after some of their contributors jumped ship, like The Try Guys. Constantly reporting on people and things that don’t matter. For instance, anyone with the Kardashian/Jenner/West last name. There are other people in the Entertainment industry, or Los Angeles for the matter, you can write about, right. Seriously though, how much are they paying you. The last straw was something called the Gay Test. Yes it was supposed to be “in fun” but you couldn’t come up with a better name or concept. I wouldn’t even care if the person who wrote it was gay ir straight, it’s stupid. You get one star because I couldn’t go lower. Goodbye Buzzfeed It’s been fun. No that’s a lie. It stopped being fun a long time ago.

If I could rate Zero Stars I would. This is a poor excuse of a news app. Buzzfeed is by far one of the most laughable sources of “news” in this current generation of information and technology. There is little to no substance in any of their stories, it appears that the writers of any Buzzfeed “story” are wasting away their time as well as any unfortunate mindless husk of a human’s time. There are articles on the Kardashians, rating Dunkin’ Doughnut’s doughnuts, the difference between playing the board game Operation high and playing Operation drunk. This app and this company is a cesspool of thought. It is truly disgusting to me, seeing all the squandered money and time going into the creation of these “stories”. This is an app, a “News outlet” for the truly lost, the truly useless, the truly unforgivable.

A bunch of Taylor Swift stans in that office. If you want constant coverage of the reigning champ of white privilege, Taylor Swift, then download this app. They twist their stories to always paint her as the victim, instead of what she truly is - a bully who manipulates the public into thinking she’s always wronged by another. I’m tired of going to their app and seeing nothing but the made-up victimhood of Taylor Swift. Write about actual issues. Highlight stories of people doing good in this world. Hell, I’d rather you write more about the Kardashians at this point. Get over your fascination with Taylor Swift. She doesn’t even stand for anything other than herself, except the gays, but that’s a bandwagon she jumped on within the past couple months. Some role model 🙄.

Pointless censorship, ended up deleting the app. I really enjoyed the silly quizzes and appreciated the articles that were well written and researched. Commenting was a fun way to interact with fellow readers and gain new insight but I began to feel as though they were unnecessarily censoring my and other comments. I noticed they would delete even my most neutral of comments. Comments that were simply thanking someone for correcting or clarifying something would be deleted. My most recently censored comment said “oops! Thanks for the correction...”. I’d mistaken another model as Ashley Graham and said I loved her short hair cut. What was so wrong with that?? Don’t want to support something that wants to censor more than the president.

Same articles for months. When I first open the app, the same news stories have been on the main page for months; they never update! For example, the article “21 Problems all Sarcastic People will Understand” is ALWAYS one of the first listed articles. “Fashion at the 2017 Emmy Awards” has also been towards the top since they aired in September. The main article that stretches the entire top of my phone screen when the app is first opened, “A Murder in Berkeley Gave the Far-Right its Perfect Perp” - also been there for months. Love reading the trending articles each day, but why don’t the articles on the main page ever update?! Kind of frustrating.

Fun to Kill Time. So I love me some Buzzfeed in the morning when I need my quiet time with coffee and when I need to kill time. There are a bunch of fun articles and quizzes that tell me which snack food I am based on the tv show quotes I choose. However, it seems as though Buzzfeed strongly leaning towards the left in the political category. Which is opposite of me and I wouldn’t care about it normally but all of their articles and ads lean left. It feels like their agenda is being crammed down your throat at a times. But other than that I love the app! :)

needs better comment notifications!!. I’ve been using this app for such a long time, and the biggest downfall is not being able to see replies and such to your comments. You can’t really feel a sense of community on this app, and it’s annoying to have to wonder if your comment was ever even seen. I can get past the quiz glitches and such, but I just really wish we could have a better system for commenting (like mentioning people, notifications bringing your directly to your comments, better threads, etc.)

Little bug. For the last few weeks I’ve had this annoying bug where whenever I open a specific post immediately 4 or 5 pages open and when I tap on the done button to close them down, new pages open and I have to close down the entire app. I then go back to open that post and it occurs again. I don’t know whether it’s just my app or if anyone else is have the same problem.

Downhill Spiral. Buzzfeed used to be a lighthearted app to have fun with and the occasional news article. Now it is full of pointless quizzes, extreme left leaning articles, repeated product recommendations, and employs no editors whatsoever. Each article comes off as written by a five year old with multiple spelling and grammatical errors, or the writer will post some crazy opinionated article about race, sexuality, or way of living. Most articles are bashing straight whites and while their opinion is strong, these writers turn off comments to their articles so no one else’s voice can be heard on the matter. I am now deleting this app after having it for years now, because all of this enrages me. Thanks buzzfeed, for becoming a left leaning tmz of the app world.

Great but.... I love Buzzfeed for many reasons so naturally I downloaded the app. I have an account on Buzzfeed that I made by signing in with Google Plus and upon downloading the app, I realized there’s no option to log in with Google Plus. I don’t want to make a new account and loose all the articles and quizzes I saved so I was wondering if you guys can fix this issue in the next update. Other than this, this app is perfect and a great source for keeping up to date with current events.

No complaints!. I really love buzzfeed on my free time a read the news do the quizzes and show my results to my friends! This app has made it to one of the only 4 games on my phone and I love love love it! The news is so cool and interesting I learn from it and hear about the dangers of the world and how to beware! I don’t think there news is fake and if it is so be it! It’s so interesting and they have many facts and photos to prove it’s real! The quizzes are fun and it funny to learn about new things live zodiac signs! It’s a MUST download y’all!

Terrible, steals your info, manipulates reviews.. I’ve never seen anything more blatantly racist, biased then this. If this was the onion or clickhole, maybe it would garner some legitimacy however this has been known to blatantly steal content from other YT and online creators and claim it as their own original thoughts on top of stealing your information the moment you’ve downloaded it. No good has came from BuzzFeed and they never intended it to be so, they’re trying to dupe anyone who’ll fall for it, no better then scammers. A few of their workers even admitted to the fact that they manipulate as many reviews as they can by telling people to rate it 4 or 5 stars. How BuzzFeed is existing despite its clear criminal behavior is beyond me but i’m not sure why people are letting it slide, enough is enough.

I enjoy it although…. I love taking the trivia’s on Movies, TV, Celebrities, just pop culture in general. Although, using Buzzfeed on an Apple iPhone refreshes the page for me (even though I didn’t want it to) while I was on the search results for a certain trivia. It was utterly annoying and distressing because I like to know which trivia I was taking. Also to make matters worse, once the page sadly refreshes… there’s newer trivia’s that is originally out of order in the first place—the newer trivia’s interests me but I feel like my time is wasted from these new ones I’m fond of bc of the App’s bugginess that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Ads Ads Ads! Buzzfeed over monetizing their platform. Please listen to your audience when they tell you your ads EVERYWHERE are killing the user experience! As a digital marketer I can assure you that this huge increase in ads and over monetizing of your platform are going to drive your loyal audience away and looking for a similar but different platform. I can’t even see some of your content because it’s covered by ads. Be cautious of the always changing digital landscape and work on keeping and or increasing the rank and audience you already have. Think of tumbler which recently sold for ‘pennies’ compared to their worth 10 years ago. Don’t let that be you.

Buzzfeed is cancer. Buzzfeed is that kid in the school cafeteria who gets picked on because they deserve it and not because the world is cruel. If you invited them to a party they would tell you about how all the beer choices were monstrous because there’s yeast used in the process to make beer and any way you slice it, you’re killing yeast by participating in the endless cycle of drinking beer. They would criticize every guest you invited to the party by pointing out their intersectionalism and the only person who would be okay would be a gay black gender fluid person with dwarfism and then you would be forced not to acknowledge any of those things because they’re a person like any of us. Even though those same characteristics were good enough to disqualify everyone else. They would think being nerdy means being super attractive but wearing glasses and they would chatter on endlessly about how awkward they are while simultaneously doing everything possible to be the center of attention. As soon as they left the party everyone would start dancing.

I gave it one cause it’s the lowest it can go. I got the buzzfeed app and when I tried to sign in it would not accept my password even though it was the right password. Cause when I would I go through safari it lets me in but when I get in the app it gets all pissy. And then I would try to reset my password thinking maybe that would help. NOPE!!! I never get reset password email. I been trying for over a hour to get in but it isn’t working so I gave up and deleted it.

Simpler Times. Alright so every night I usually lay down in my comfy lil bed and take some buzzfeed quizzes to make me sleepy and recently I’ve noticed an increase in the slide to answer option for the quizzes and I don’t like it. I miss the simpler times when the quizzes were just multiple choice and I didn’t have to give up my firstborn child to find out what type of cheese I am or the first initial of my husband. Just stop with the slide to answer it’s annoying I just want to mindlessly choose out of 4-6 multiplied choice answers, Buzzfeed. please consider a loyal Buzzfeed quiz takers request. Thank you and I love you.

Love more than hate, so 👍🏼. I tend to really love the majority of Buzzfeed content more than I tend to hate it so that’s what the 4/5 is all about. Positive: I like the political coverage & I also feel like there’s a pretty good chance someone from my millennial generation actually wrote a few of the articles. Negative: I don’t think the quizzes are very accurate, even though their titles seem to be so confident that they will be. Too much celebrity kardashian nonsense that makes me feel like perhaps I can’t trust the article I’m reading on “Senator so-and-so’s stance on the situation in Syria” Cuz omg Kylie’s new lip-whatever is SO amazeballs or [insert popular compliment] The-End

Can’t log in. Can’t comment.. For months (probably a year honestly) I have not been able to comment or log in or like comments on BuzzFeed. I have verified my email. I also tried signing in with Facebook. Neither of these options work. I keep getting an “oops something went wrong. You have been logged out” message. I constantly try to log back in and it doesn’t work. Because of this, I can’t access bookmarks or contribute and interact with the community, which is a large part of the app. BuzzFeed, PLEASE fix this. It’s been going on for too long and it’s driving me crazy. Edit - BuzzFeed, this is still an issue! I cannot comment and an unable to like comments or stay logged in.... it’s been over a year now BuzzFeed.

Slow loading etc.. This has occurred so much that I’m so annoyed that I’m writing a review. The app will NOT load certain pictures or context in an article/link. Thought it might be my connection, but it does the same when I’m only using data. So frustrating. Trying to read something, and at some point, the content is just “loading”… on top of that, if you click a link in the content and it takes you out of the app, when you go back to the app, it removes you from where you were and takes you back to the home page. So dumb.

It was okay before... I enjoyed using the app for nonsensical purposes and occasionally enjoyed their news article updates. I am not a fan of the new update where the news link had been taken away from the bottom of the app page and replaced with shopping. I am not going to Buzzfeed to shop, and there are enough ads in the articles or quizzes as it is that make it difficult to find any actual content. Not that it is even easy to find many thought provoking articles these days.

Dev Note to Fix Instagram API. I use the BuzzFeed app probably every day, and over the last month or so every time I open an article that has instagram posts plugged into the content- the app goes haywire... opens multiple windows to verify what I’m assuming are my log in credentials... before crashing. If the same article is opened in Safari, the content works just fine. Oddly, I’m already logged into my Facebook account through the app- but can’t do the same with Instagram. I don’t know if this is the right platform to report issues but since this glitch makes certain content inaccessible in the app - the version of which I am currently running is the most recently released version - so I wanted to share. Otherwise this is great software from an increasingly journalistic and relevant news pub. Nicely done.

Recent update sinks. Since the latest update they've removed the dislike button on comments and I've noticed that comments I post will disappear. Both of these are super annoying especially if you enjoy interacting with other community members and letting people know that you think their opinion is crap. Am older update also disabled the comments section altogether on posts BuzzFeed deems "controversial" or "sensitive." While I understand the need to do this on some posts, I feel they've taken this way too far...but that's just my opinion.

Please fix this if you see this!!. I love buzzfeed but I’ve noticed EVERY TIME I go on the app to read a story I have this specific issue! A lot of times the articles include Instagram posts, I’m not sure if this is the cause, but I will be scrolling on my phone reading the article and once I pass over a linked Instagram photo, any text written directly below it will disappear. I see the text at first but then it just disappears before i can read it and no matter how i scroll or click it won’t return. It’s usually a quote by the celebrity in the Instagram and usually the most important point of the article! I’ve updated my app several times to try to fix this so plz do in the next update if you can!:(
