Impressive. Please enhance!. Have used for years. Best calendar for iPhone. My prior issues are no longer a concern. If they made a change on task display, I’d love this app. I only wish I could create a task, which rolls forward to future dates if not complete. If “Complete” is checked, I’d like the item date to be the date completed, and have the completed item always display on the date completed. This is only a display change and has no effect on the data stored in the native app. If the item already has a date stored at the time of checking the completed box, popup and offer the user to chose either the date completed was checked or the existing stored date (or open the item for any other user choice).

Finally, a useful App. I tried to remember how many calendar apps I’ve tried during the last 5 years. That number landed on 7 apps which means that I could not find one that checked all of my boxes, until now. Paid version apps are equivalent to a crap shoot for me, but I finally got lucky and found one that does everything that I need and more. This app offers very flexible and colorful calendar pages that are easy to read and modify. I used to be the master of schedule conflict but thanks to this app, that will no longer be who I am. The days of bugging my wife over my future commitments are a thing of the past and I have to say, it’s actually fun to use.

Time Zones. I do not know how to type in an event for my schedule if I am in a different time zone for an event in my own time zone and have the correct time display when I return home!! (The time zone shows Cupertino and can't be changed!! Don't know what that is for anyhow! ) I was in Calif and had to type in an event for when I got home into Central Time and I put in the time the event began in my home zone or what I thought was my home zone and when I got home it showed it 2 hours later because I had entered the event in Calif and it automatically must have converted to PST! I went to edit it to the correct time and it won't let me change the time zone showing as PST to CDT on the beginning and ending time ! I had to delete the whole event and begin all over again! How frustrating!! This needs to be clarified, please! You can contact me if I just don't understand how it works ! Thank you!

RN. Fabulous!!! By far the best calendar app I've found. I have finally stopped looking for a better one because this one is SO much better than the others. The free app is fabulous alone but I will gladly keep spending a little pocket change once a year to keep myself more organized with some add-on features. 2023~I can’t think of anything else to add other than I also love having the ability to look back 5 or 7 years and still see the things I had going on at that time or to find a certain event. I will NEVER stop renewing this calendar!! I DO wish it was a bit easier to personalize (with the colors) for old girls like myself. Maybe having some premade templates for that would help because mine isn’t so cute anymore, but looks aren’t everything!! Haha!!

The best organization calendar. Hi , really really on your calendar/ organize every day. Awesome tool to keep all your appointment, work schedule, all the birthdays and the events. With different color coding for each the event and day is really easy to keep track of my busy life. I am OR nurse and have to take call , my schedule change all the time, sometimes I am scheduled to do shift in different the hospitals and is really easy to miss something or get confused, where I am working and what call I am doing that week Thanks to this organization system my busy life is on track, thank you, thank you I really don’t know what I will do without this beautiful tool , thank you, Kasia

Extremely helpful. As a person with “disorganized” ADD, this app is super-helpful for keeping track of my appointments with clients throughout the day. I can forget things in a minute. I love being able to color-code and the bounce feature is also helpful. All in all, I have not found anything better for getting me through my day. I know that it has more complexities than I care to learn, but I just love the simplicity of it and I recommend it to others. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I used to be able to get reminders flashed on my phone. Maybe Google took something over but now the only reminders I get are via email, which does me no good at all. I tried to find out hot to make the reminders come up on my phone again, but to no avail.

Easy to use. I've been using this app for couple years now and it works great. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because once the month is over it deletes things I've done. There are times I'd like to go back a couple months in the calendar and see when I did something, such as Dr appointment or had a meeting and it will have been deleted. I think this is something the developer could change. UPDATE: After hearing from the developer, I now understand that I just needed to change a setting in my phone's settings section. You just have to go into settings click on Calendar then click Sync and change that All Events. I've done that and all my past events were restored. So, I'll give the app 5 stars!

Finally. I used to look and google better calendars for this iPhone . I absolutely hate the calendar provided with the phone. This app is so functional I enjoy loading it with my details. Now I just wish they made or sold accessories for it like my paper planner, meaning carrying add on like black nurses in uniform or scrub shirts that say work on them just large enough to fit on the day of the month, or even things like nail appt. or a suitcase or airplane for vacations. That would be everything it could be optional like the circle and square boxes around the events something. Anyhow just a suggestion, this is app is definitely worth using and keeping!!

Awesome. I never know what to title a review, bus Awesome pretty much explains it. My friend introduced me to this app a few years ago and I have not been able to live without it since. I was the paper calendar person because I like to physically see what I have going on and not just a dot that says I’m busy. Apple shows a dot when something is on your calendar, that can be a birthday, an event, a holiday I don’t celebrate etc. the only thing I don’t like about this app is I can’t delete the holidays that I don’t celebrate but that’s fine. They recently fixed the glitch when inviting someone. When I first got the app I could just start typing and the contact would appear. Then for about a year or so I physically had to go into my contacts to add them (always the same people) now I can add those same people I always add to events by just typing again. I know it seems petty but it was the ease of the app and I liked it. But it never stopped me from using it. I love that it just lays everything out and it so simple to read. Work is one color, fun things are another and important things are another. It works out great!

Love this app!!!. I can read this calendar so well. It is so much better than the calendar that comes with the iPhone. I was always scheduling things on the wrong day because he iPhone calendar would roll to a different day so easily I would easily schedule on the wrong day. where as this one does not do that so I am much more accurate and quicker. I love that I can touch the day and the event will scroll across so I can read it without actually having to open it up all the way. Or if I touch the day blows up the event for me to read. I can hide certain unwanted holidays if I don’t want to see them on my calendar whereas I could not do this on my old calendar. This pocket life calendar is just very user-friendly and I really like it.

Still a great calendar. My rating just dropped from 5 to 2. The reason: you can’t create customized alerts anymore! The option seems to have disappeared with the latest update (August 2023). Honestly, that was one of my main reasons for my continuing to purchase this app, and I have been a happy, loyal customer for many years, until now. Here’s why that option matters to me. Let’s say I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. one day for something. I don’t want t be reminded exactly one day (24 hours) before because either I’ll sleep through it or the reminder will wake me up unnecessarily at 5:30 the day before the event to remind me about it! If I can set my reminder for 22 hours instead of one day, that’s so much better. If they don’t find a way to bring the customized reminder option back, I might as well just use the Calendar app that comes in the iOS.

Extremely versatile, invaluable app!. I have been using this calendar app for many years now and every update it only gets better. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. I love the fact it is a calendar, recipe book and list maker all in one. The lists I make on here are invaluable! Not only the grocery list, I have a list for everything we need if we go away. I am able to filter and categorize it for day trip vs camping vs airline trips. I even have a list that I have been able to categorize by month and filter by travel distance with all the things that we would like to do or see. Then if we have some time and don’t know how to fill it, I can look at my list and gain inspiration. Now to mention the recipe section… It is so well laid out and extensive that it does everything I need it to and more. I really love that once you have added an ingredient you can check it off, I don’t lose my place anymore. Don’t know what I would do without this app!!

BIG RIP OFF. Do not buy this calendar I purchased it for both my iPhone and iPad and when I purchased the app in 2019 it wasn’t listed a requiring a yearly fee it was a listed one time and done purchase. Having purchased the app for a one time fee I had no issues with having access to the calendar in 2019, 2020, & 2021. However, they decided to get greedy and changed the rules they are now requiring me to buy it again to have access to the calendar. You are better off buying a calendar app that doesn’t look for anyway it can rip you off to stuff their pockets. I will be filing a complaint with Apple as you shouldn’t be made to buy an app that you have already purchased. The app will now be deleted from my devices and I will never buy another app from this company. I will also warn my family, friends, coworkers, and others to not buy apps from this company!

Add more photos. It would be wonderful if we can add multiple photos to each calendar event. I personally do moving claims and I end up having to create a photo stream of the photos from the job I go to inspect. It would be nice to be able to include several photos of the project/job at hand and then have the capability to be able to share these photos in something similar to a photo stream. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to add notes in lines, below each pic etc. to where I may need to point out something specific to the moving company. Overall, I really like the app.

Customization Galore!. I absolutely LOVE how many specific things you can customize in this app to make it the exact way you want it to work for you! This is by far my favorite calendar app I’ve ever used, but it has a few downfalls in my experience.... The major one is that for some reason when I add an event, it creates like 15 duplicates and then if I need to delete it, I have to delete every single duplicate event individually and it gets very aggravating! It also takes up all of the space in the month view and anything later in the day is hidden at the bottom of the list of duplicates and you can’t see it unless you scroll through the billion copies of the earlier event. I’m not sure if this is only my app doing this or if it’s a common issue. It does get very annoying, but it hasn’t caused me to switch calendar apps yet, because all of the other benefits this app has to offer outweighs the issue in my opinion, but it would definitely be awesome and gain that fifth star if they would fix it! All in all though, I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone that wants to set up their calendar just the way they like it because the possibilities are endless!

Life is more difficult with this app because of its time zone issues. This app’s “Time Zone override” settings are absolutely terrible. I have showed up at the wrong time for multiple events this month because the app changes the time your event is displayed based on what time zone you’re in. And even when you click “time zone override off,” then you’re stuck with all your events being shown in one timezone. So if you have an event in NYC, but your time zone is set to Los Angeles, it shows you your event as what time it is in LA, not in NYC (where you need to be). If you book at flight leaving at 3:30 Mountain Time and when you book it, you’re on a computer in PST, it’ll change the flight time to PST. It’s happened to me twice in the past week. I just got to a flight an hour early bc PocketLife changed my flight time to what time it would be in Oregon, despite the fact that I’m flying out of Montana.

Love it! The Search is Over!!. Fabulous organizer for OCD types like me!! This app provides a highly featured flexibility to illustrate your schedule at a glance. I particularly appreciate the color coding that allows me to instantly recognize what type of events are on the schedule eg yellow for medical appointments, pink for repeating regular events, red for to do... You decide which colors and other features to apply. I had no hesitation to buy the full app. The price is more than fair, and I want the flexibility I've never found in any other calendar. Get this app. You'll have your life at your fingertips! 🖐🏼 Update: Still loving this app after years of using. Needed customer service recently and they were quickly responsive and helpful. I renew every year with pleasure 😄

Love it but they keep raising the price. I’ve been using this app for years & I absolutely love it. It’s so much better than other calendar apps I’ve tried. You can customize everything from the background photos each month to the colors to the calendars you use making different ones for things like work, school, family, doctor appointments, etc with everything color coded & easily recognizable. It’s great & so easy to use. My only problem with it is you have to pay again each year & the price keeps going up. I think when I first started using it paying for a new year was $0.99 or maybe $1.99. Last year I paid $2.99. Now for 2022 they want $4.99. While that’s not a lot of money, having to pay that every year basically forever gets expensive, especially if they keep raising the price. I’ll probably pay it for this year but start looking for another option before next year which is unfortunate.

Guest home owner. I wrote this report and a response was sent explaining how to correct my settings so it was my settings causing the issue mentioned below. (Btw I would love each year end if they would send me a copy of my yearly calendar so I can store it with my other rental documents.) Earlier I gave a rating 5 Star but issue I had mentioned: I do love the program but before the end of the year my calendar is erased. Luckily I've learned to make copies of it so I can file my rental reports for bed tax. But it is very disconcerting when you go back to see what was going on on a certain day and the data is gone. The data from previous years once in a while shows up on the calendar but that is sporadic. Please stop removing data from calendars of people who use calendar year to year, thank you. Bottom line this is a great APP.

Love!!. I love that I can color coordinate my events or my kids schedules. I have used this app for a couple of years and is the best one by far. There are so many different things you can customize from the color to the background pictures. The best of all I can assign a color to each person in my family and quickly glance to see who had something each day. I work two different jobs and can give each one a different color as well. In the three or four years I’ve had this app I have never had it crash, freeze or give me any problems. Thank you to the developer it is what keeps my life on track!!

Can’t Live Without It!. I have been using this app for YEARS! I have raised 4 teenagers and a husband using this app for appointments, reminders and holidays. Everyone in the family has a different color for appointments and events and then sometimes I make up my own color for special events. I live by it daily but I have to admit that I use the reminders quite often just in case. As a nurse my schedule changes often so using the templates makes it so much easier to put my work schedule in quickly each month. The only thing I would change is I wish I could choose which holidays show and what color they would be, other than that this app is perfect!

Like the versatility of this calendar!. This is much better than the standard iPhone calendar so I bought the paid version. Love that I can scroll through the days, which I can't on the standard. But just learned about more advanced capabilities of copy-paste from another reviewer, and could find no info on the app. (!) And don't like to be reminded to review it. But all in all, I would recommend this as a much better choice to anyone who depends on their calendar! Update: I use this to keep track of things I need to do as well as things I've done. Can search for last haircut, etc. Essential. Anything that increases functionality is good. Can I print out all items input for 2016, for example? Then I could erase all but most important info in 2016 & reclaim some memory.

All-around best calendar. Why? 1. The size of the lettering is larger & easier to read. Less fatigue, faster performance. 2. Flexibility of assigning & reassigning color coding to events & Calendar structure makes this app much easier to use & visually group events. I can see the flow and stacking of events in a colorful way superior to the other top 3 calendars I am testing. 3. Love the logic & flow. It’s generally intuitive. REFINEMENTS? I would suggest more innovation, refinements, and user control options around the three suggested areas I’ve outlined above. Additional work in those areas will, in my opinion, earn this calendar app a top position. With those improvements this calendar should be a 4-7$ purchase. Allow your loyal base to upgrade for less. Last Thoughts: I have been evaluating this calendar intensely for about three weeks. I evaluate a lot of software programs & apps and some of them play games or have annoying ads or try to get you to do certain things and buy under pressure and what not. So far this app has been very fair and has allowed me to get to know the app to understand it without having to sell one of my children to pay for it! If that changes I’ll try to give a heads up. BTTTOM LINE: A Thoroughly enjoyable calendar app that needs a little more sophistication to be a truly great app. Congratulations to the developer and thank you for your work.

Can’t get rid of it!. Wish it cost less or had a totally free version with ads...that being said I do find it extremely helpful and totally understand they need to charge for ongoing costs of upkeep with operating system updates. Only thing that bugs me is how the quick add (+) works -for me it’s counterintuitive and I would prefer to pick the date first instead of giving the title first, it’s very often that I end up adding something quickly on the wrong date because that is where the calendar was hovering. I know it sounds weird but you can be looking at your calendar and remember that you want to set a date for someone else and when you hit the plus sign it should first double check or verify the date for which you are adding the event first instead of below the description box. That way it would force you to make sure you are entering that Quick add event on the right day.

Seriously THE Best Calendar App Ever!. I’ve tried so many calendar apps! PocketLife is by FAR the best one ever! It’s completely customizable (I even have my own monthly pictures set as backgrounds!), the ability to customize animations for important things is unbeatable, I have different colors for each family member so I can see at a glance who needs what... Having the ability to create templates for frequently used events is incredible! I’ve customized the font and size of both letters and calendar date numbers so I can see them easily... And just for fun, I have emoji for things like birthdays!! I sync all my different calendars with it, including my son’s work schedule/days he needs babysitters. Like, seriously!!! There’s nothing this calendar app doesn’t do!!! I’ll never use anything else. Thanks for creating such a powerful -and fun to use - app for daily life!!! You rock!!!!

What a help!. I was trying to keep up with my schedule and my husband’s plus 2 daughters and monthly puppy medicine for 5 dogs. Now I’m retired and need it even more......now there is even more to keep up with vacations, doctor appointments, church functions, meeting friends for breakfast or lunch and last but not lease my husbands still works some for the company he retired from and a side job doing special projects for another company. I downloaded this app because it can be shared. Now my husband has a copy on his phone, there’s a copy on my phone and my iPad so I don’t have to stop what I’m doing when he asks what are we doing on such and such a date or did I work last any last week, or when are we supposed to meet the “Jones?” Now I can keep up with birthdays, deaths, holidays, special events and I even set up colors to see at a glance what’s coming up. I recommend it for anyone with a busy family, I wish I’d had it when my girls were younger.

App keeps Crashing. I loved this calendar app up until this morning. It had all of the features (plus some) that I have been looking for. However, after inputting some events this morning, the app crashed. No matter what I have done (turn off my phone, delete and reinstall app) the app keeps crashing. I emailed the company. Hoping that this can be resolved. All of my other apps and phone functions are working perfectly fine and I haven’t updated or installed anything different over the past several days Update: have been in touch with the developer. They have been very attentive. They are trying to replicate the crash. I have also been doing some investigating on my own. Just wanted to make sure that I updated this review because the developer has been very attentive and responsive

Great alternative!. When I purchased my IPhone, I assumed that I would keep my busy schedule with the standard calendar application that was on the phone. However, I quickly realized that I did not like the display and scheduling functions on the standard app. I immediately searched the App Store for an alternative and found this app. I found it easy to use, customizable, and perfect for my needs. It syncs through iCloud, and has several views to insure you stay organized and never miss another appointment. I've suggested it to several others who also share my opinion.

**UPDATED** Simple fix to change by going to the Main Menu. Thank you!!. **UPDATE to say that I LOVE this app now that it is a simple fix to change the “dot” on the main menu. Thank you for taking the time to email me on how simple it is to switch it back! Original review is no longer viable— I loved this app! But they recently updated it to now when you open the app all you see is blue dots on the events that you have in your calendar. What I loved most about this app was, all you had to do was open the app, and there were all of your events to view without clicking on each day. I’m pretty bummed that all I see now is blue dots. And have to click on each day to view my schedule. Other than that it’s a great tool for organizing your daily schedule.

We're splitting up. I started using this calendar a few years ago. Loved it because I could create separate colored templates easily for separate events or people. Was easy to use. I didn't like paying 99cents a year for it, but liked it enough to. I used version 6.1- it was my favorite- would Bluetooth sync from my iPhone 6 to my iPod touch 3rd gen. But much has changed. 6.1 crashes on everything new. Updated, even though I didn't want to. The newer interface is quite frankly, ugly. And I don't judge by looks, but personality and usability. It's not as easy for me to navigate as it use to be. But the biggest turnoff? The $2.99 a year. Yeah- I know- all the calendars are going this route- 'nickel and diming' us to death. Out of all of them out there- for functionality- this one is the best. But I cannot justify the price anymore. Back to the native calendar I go... 😞

Absolutely love this calendar!. I have been using this calendar for approximately 8 years. I have everything on it and use the color coding for birthdays, personal, Dr appointments, Holidays, etc. Love being able to enter an annual event once and set it up to carry over every year from there on. Or if I have a meeting at the the same time every third Tuesday of the month, very easy to setup. Calendar is easy to read and use! I sent an email to the Help Line because I couldn’t figure out something. I got a response back almost immediately. They also ask customers if there are any changes they would like to suggest every year. Thank you!!!

Font Size for Events. I’ve used this app for a long time and I’m happy with the features I use. However no matter what font you choose the Size of the font Changed if the event title is long. This makes my eyes cross, I can’t focus on the sch because I have to look for sms size fonts that appear to be the location because of the size. I add calendar items from other apps which are lengthy, I would rather have the title truncated rather than looking at events with large fonts and little bitty fonts. Because if this I have been looking at other apps but I don’t like them, I want to use PocketLife but my eyes go cross eyed trying to be sure I am not missing events. How about a setting to choose. Maybe I am missing a setting? 4 stars because otherwise I love this app but that little thing is a very big thing to me, it’s totally inconsistent and makes the screen jumbled up. I don’t want to adjust every long title because you can’t truncate it. Please add a setting !! I’m sick of looking at other apps.

Great except Time Zone awkward. I like everything about PocketLife calendar EXCEPT how it manages time zones when scheduling an item. I would much prefer to name the Time Zone rather than pick a city in that zone to identify it. Seems quirky, and it is annoying when entering multiple items in my schedule. Furthermore, not sure how it handles items that cross time zones. Do you enter the time it would have been in the original zone? Or do you enter the time it will be in the zone where the activity ends? Other than that repeating time zone entering annoyance I really like everything about PocketLife calendar. MUCH better and easier to see my schedule than in Apple’s Calendar. The little dots in Apple’s version don’t tell me much of anything. In PocketLife I can see the title (or at least enough of it) and the color to know what activity is scheduled for any given day. Plus..you can have 4 different calendars, with 4 different contents, with PocketLife. Imagine a “work” calendar, a vacation calendar, a travel calendar, a home calendar, holiday calendar, or any combination of types. Makes it very easy to see my schedule.

Efficient, Aesthetic, Free. Shoutout to the makers of this app - the best calendar/planner out there! It’s an organized, aesthetic combination of a calendar and remind app which I love so I can easily switch between my schedule and to-do list. My favorite feature is that the calendar is like a real one where you can see all your events on it and you don’t have to click on a date to see what’s there. Also really liking the different backgrounds for each month. And thank you for not charging anything except to remove adds; I was going to get a different calendar app but got this one instead because it doesn’t force me to buy anything to use it. Again thank you and keep up the good work!

Love it!. Love that it links w other calendars (though I'd prefer to mesh them all together onto one grand calendar), love that it's linked w my reminders, and the alerts AND the alerts based on location/drive time!! (though could use more options for the audible alerts) love the layout-that I can see a portion of what I wrote w the color I chose on each day instead of a simple dot that doesn't mean anything without clicking it... don't like that I have to keep paying for it over and over every year but like it so much I keep doing just that. Recently figured out how to view my calendar on my iPad- and share it between the two devices- so I can be on the phone and adjusting the iPad calendar at the same time. Main thing I would change: when you have 2 events for the same day, be able to choose which one goes on top! To prioritize the at a glance display. I’d rather know at a glance I have a doctors appt that day over knowing it’s my lil icon indicating it’s a pay day.. as even tho I try to do things w different colors, inevitably the more important one defaults to the bottom layer and I miss things.. easy to click and view but not so much at a glance to see that little border..

Organized. Had this app for years and absolutely still love it. The color coordination per event is perfect for a quick glance and know what you have planned without actually looking at the details. Choosing your own background pics for each month makes each season memorable and pretty to look at. Although depending on the picture, it can get too busy for the eyes esp if you have a lot of events written in. US Holliday’s and international Holliday’s and fb friends bdays can all be downloaded automatically just by editing setting. So you can see how crazy the schedule can get. I keep it strictly for work, appts, and family bdays. It’s a personalized look so either way you look at it, it is such a great tool.

Love PocketLife. PocketLife has incorporated all the features that I have been using between multiple calendars. Now I can do it all in one calendar app. I love the templates feature to quickly add events that I add often. The customization of the interface from views to colors to fonts to sounds is a really nice feature to personalize it. It also incorporates reminders which is great because many times I just want a reminder not to have to add calendar entry. The ability to also add custom calendars for a small fee is great because then I do not have to add these events manually. I would recommend this app to anyone who uses their calendar very heavily or not heavily because it really does make keeping track of events easy. This says a lot because I do not typically leave reviews on apps.

Needs a few changes to the Apple Watch app to make it even better. Since I pretty much only downloaded this app strictly for my watch - the Apple calendar app for the iPhone is sufficient but on the watch? Not so much. I like being able to see the full month display with your app on my watch because you can’t get that view with the Apple calendar. It shows everything else but as far as the “at a glance” view, no. One thing I would like to see for the watch face is the ability to, when I go to customize my complications, I would like to be able to select your app for the date display on my watch for the date and day instead of using the default “date” selection. Reason being, in order to view the month the way I like to see it is that I have to go through all them extra steps to open your app. I could just use your app as a complication but the default view isn’t the day and date. It’s the next upcoming event. Can we change that to displaying the date and day? Or at least change it so that we can choose what it shows there as a complication?

Hands Down: THE BEST Calendar App. I check my calendar quite literally several time a day. It’s essentially every aspect of my life right in front of me. Easily the greatest feature is that I’m able to divide everything into colored categories! I don’t forget to pay bills; I don’t miss doctor’s appointments, dentist check-ups, concerts, parties; I can see all the upcoming holidays, full moons, Mercury retrogrades (lol!); I can keep track of my dog’s nail trims, grooming, vet appointments; I even added my football team’s schedule for the season. There are a ton of different ways to repeat an event as well which is insanely useful–yearly, monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, every 2nd Tuesday, every 19 days, you name it! It’s great for absolutely everyone no matter your lifestyle. I would ESPECIALLY recommend it for anyone like myself with ADHD or those who just need a solid way to organize everything in one spot. :) I hope this review helps!

BEST calendar app!. I absolutely LOVE this app! I’ve had it for years!!! I depend on this soooo much! It definitely keeps me organized with the color coding feature. I really like how the words show when I’m on the monthly screen, rather than dots like in the iPhone calendar app. I’ve tried many other apps as well as a physical write-in calendar, but I keep reverting back to this one. Even after upgrading my phone 3 times, ALL my information transfers over smoothly! Just as long as you set it up to link to your iCloud, you are golden! You will never miss a bill, appointment, or an important event with this app! Yes, you have to pay for this app, but for me it is way better than paying for a physical planner that is too small to write everything in, too big to carry around, or too expensive and cute that I would have to throw away anyway.

Upset about the change!. I normally love your calendar, but this change you all made ROYALLY SCREWED THINGS UP for me! In several ways! One of which was, since this NOT GREAT CHANGE you made, I have not been receiving my Birthday notifications like I was before, and I am TICKED OFF! Because I have two very precious kids whose birthdays I spaced because I’m EXTREMELY SICK AND DYING right now, and I’m dependent on others & their apps to remind me, and when they don’t function properly I MISS THOSE DATES! It’s HORRIBLE Being so sick and depending on others and I hate it, because I CAN’T depend on others! THEY AREN’T DEPENDABLE! Nor are these changes you’ve made! I’m so not happy with this new calendar change! Why do people continue to “Fix that which is NOT broken?” So then it eventually is broken!

The Calendar I Use More Than Any Other. UPDATE: My previous review (below) still stands true for me--this is my go-to calendar app because it's a real calendar with plenty of customizable features and its visual display LOOKS like a calendar. I still love it. This calendar's versatility, features and especially its readable interface for my over-60 eyes makes it the one I use more than any other. I like the ability to label each appointment on any given day in a different color; I like being able to read each appointment in the lower panel instead of seeing just dots; and I like the fact that it allows the creation of templates for often-created appointments. I have used other calendars but this is the one I refer to constantly.

Love but mostly Dislike. I was looking for a shareable calendar with a good weekly view. This certainly fits the bill with two weekly view options. As well, the monthly view gives an excellent detailed glimpse of events. As opposed to an iOS calendar you can actually see all events without going to the individual day which is exactly what we wanted. The cons: syncing and sharing is poor. I spent a considerable amount of time formatting the calendar how we wanted it to look for best visibility and planning, shared it...and none of those edits transferred. When it synced to my iPad, none of those edits transferred. When I followed troubleshooting, deleted and reinstalled, all edits were gone along with several hours of my time and patience. As well, family sharing doesn’t work for the full version of this app, so it’s a rip off. That means the husband paid $4.99, didn’t get any of my careful edits, I have to pay $4.99 and edit all four versions of the calendar (phones and tablets). This is a yearly charge as well 😤 While there’s some useful tools in this and we will be using it for the moment, I’m certainly looking around for a more functional option. Please developers, instead of focusing so much on pointless design functions give up better syncing and sharing.

Used to love this app. I have used this app for a few years and really enjoy it. It's easy to use and the option of colorizing events makes it easy, with a quick glance. I have come to depend on the ability to colorize events and personalize the look by changing pictures. I’m so disappointed recently because I bought a new phone and iPad and my calendar did not sync with either. I tried reloading it and that didn’t work. So I’ve had to go back and manually copy my stuff onto the new devices. I have gotten new devices many times in the past and did not have the same issue. I’m not going to do it again. Really frustrating! I’ve tried others but none are like this one. Super sad : ( Update: I received an unexpected response to my complaint and was able to fix the problem. I recommend this app for sure! But it shouldn’t require a poor review to get the problem solved. It should be a seamless transfer of information when transferring to a new device. Hopefully next time it won’t be so hard and disappointing.

Change that is frustrating App. I have used this app for quite a few years. I got it because I couldn't see the IOS calendar and I wanted to see appointments at a glance. It used to be perfect. Now, when you enter the info for an appointment on the top line, it splits the words between the info and location line and you lose most of the information. I don’t usually put anything on the location line. Once the app messes up my entry it takes too much effort to delete and retype where you want it. Shopping for a new app. Disappointed. Update: developer got back to me quickly. Followed instructions to fix the issue. It’s back where I remember it. Thanks.

I feel in control. I’ve dreamed of being one of ‘those’ people since i was a child. You know, the people who are so organized it almost makes you dizzy? My organization skills have always been sub par. Ive tried almost every app on the app store, planners, sticky notes, paper calendars and even white boards. Ive had this app for about an hour and i already feel more organized than i ever have. I really like how you can customize the shapes of the labels, as well as the color choices. I HATE getting an app and they have 5-6 ashy or pastel tones and thats it. im a visual person so its way easier for me to view. The only thing i would change if i could is, if you could sync your meal plan from the ‘any list’ app that i use to grocery shop and store recipes/meal plan for the week. That app is so handy for check lists/ grocery organizations/ and more. These two apps together? WHEW, i would be unstoppable! Thanks for creating an interface thats not completely boring for those of us out here that, without this range of customization, would forget they even had a schedule planned ( reminder/alarm or not) being an adult doesnt have to be completely boring, and this app gets you excited to add new things to your schedule!

Review. I haven’t written a review in a while but I feel like I should write this one. I think pocketLife has some nice features. The fact it they can’t make it work properly for some features that they have which makes it very annoying. And a huge one for me is when he gets towards the later part of the year if you happen to want to put something on your calendar for the following year you have to go in by the calendar for the following year, or 4 or five months before the end of the year because it won’t let you put anything on next year’s calendar without the purchase again. I’m actively Little by little switching my stuff over to Google Calendar because that really works the best and gives you the most options. It’s also very easy to use

Great Calendar/Organizer App. This calendar is great for organizing your daily activities. I like that you can color-code your activities as you wish. I previously complained of the fact that my prior month’s records were being deleted, but I later realized that I was supposed to set it to store all the records. I especially enjoy the visual aspect of it. I am one of those people who have to write most of my plans in my calendar, and the bright color choices here make it easy for me to visualize my schedule easily. I would highly recommend this app and will keep renewing it each year.

Almost perfect. For years I've been waiting for you folks to connect this app with my contacts so I can just tap on someone to insert their name and/or address. Don't know why this should be so difficult-- Blackberry did it many years ago. The icing on the cake would be to make a notation on the notes field of the contact each time an event is scheduled with the contact. Isn't this what smartphone apps are supposed to do? Actually make things easier... Regarding your response-- I'm not looking to invite people--I'm looking to add a contact into my calendar for my information. And, I would like the meeting to automatically be notated in the notes field of the contact. You didn't address my issue with your answer, unfortunately.

LOVE this App. Update: Calendars are now synced! (So now ignore the entire 2nd and 3rd paragraphs!) Let me preface by saying I really love this app. My biggest problem with the native calendar app was that all I could see on my calendar were dots when something was scheduled. This one actually gives me descriptions! Without having to click on each individual day. I have made it even easier on myself by color-coding “categories”, so even without the description, I can look at my colored blocks and know how much of what I have scheduled each day. My only draw-back - and the reason for withholding that last star - is that it can’t “download” to other apps. If I add an event to my Google Calendar, or my native calendar, it automatically shows up in this app. Perfect! I just wish it would go the other way. I have often been at my computer, with my Google calendar open, and have to pull out my phone and open this app to make sure nothing is scheduled. For now, my “fix” has been to always ‘add’ to my calendar using either my native calendar or Google Calendar, and using this app to keep on task/schedule. It would be AMAZING to be able to add a calendar item to this app and have it be pushed to another calendar. That would make it as perfect as I can imagine.

EXCELLENT app. Well worth the tiny cost. I've been using this app. for about 3 years. Always works well, sometime I get confused as I link it to other calendars but that's my issue! I use it for all of my appointments, work rosters for two jobs and love the colour coding options. It updates instantly across my devices so I'm never out of sync.

Date doesn’t update!!. The fact that the date on the calendar little red circle doesn’t update automatically at midnight has had me scrambling multiple times when I glance at my phone and it’s showing the wrong date!! What a ridiculous system that you have to open the ap for it to update the date!!

Adding Calendars impossible. Subscribed calendars cannot be shared across devices. I subscribed to a calendar and found it impossible to share it from my iPhone to my ipad. Useless subscription. Was going to upgrade and pay for this as it LOOKED like the calendar to have but developer does not respond. Deleting and looking for a calendar that will appear the same across all my devices...

Used Everyday. I use this App everyday to run and operate my small business and manage my business engagements. It was worth every cent to improve my efficiency.

Retention of Information. I wish it would keep the data you put on the calendar until you wish to delete it yourself.

Trying hard to review. Love it as have two part time shift work jobs. Easy as to document on this calendar app. This app allows for easy input of events and keeps my busy life organised. Three jobs and 5 committees and still manage to attend all, unless I forget to enter the event. Love it and is well worth the cost.

Best calendar app BUT. I have used this for a few years now and I find it simple and easy to use. I love the colour coding which helps me set out my to do's and appointments. It's the best calendar app I have ever used. The only thing I wish it could do is attach a photo to the dates. This would help me with invitations and bills etc.

Diary and Journal. This application has proven most valuable for review of past events and in pre planning events. As long as the developer continues with it it will prove reliable over the long term. Otherwise all will simply disappear. It is very good.

Can’t believe I paid for this.. I have 3 major issues with this app. 1. Sometimes after filling out all the details of a specific date and reminder for an appointment, when I press “add” nothing is documented or saved and I’ll have to fill it out all over again. 2. When adding a day that has the actual day in the title (e.g Good Friday) the day doesn’t show up and only comes up as “good” forcing me to double back and rewrite the title again. This sometimes happens with names also, they show up in the “location” instead of the title where I intend them to be. 3. Recently I have been trying to save reminders for weekends in the future (which is what calendars are meant to do) however when I attempt to save the information, it saves to the date we are currently in. This has happened the last 20 times I’ve tried to save important dates. For an app that asks for a yearly payment, this is unacceptable and I will not be renewing subscription.

Battery drain from recent update. Have had this app for a year now and absolutely love it. Just noticed the recent update is really draining my phones battery. Is using 55% of the battery life. Please fix this otherwise best app ever!!!!

Awesome. My husband and I have been using the Pocketlife app for years. We are both nurses and use this multiple times per day. Both our calendars sync automatically which is handy. Recently I have gotten my husband his own iCloud acct due to our phones sharing too much info (ie: messages and phone calls and photos) Pocketlife were able to assist me in trouble shooting any syncing problems!! Absolutely love it.

Misleading. I purchased this calendar app and realised that the purchase was only for next year. It is therefore NOT a purchase but an annual subscription. When I removed the widget and the app from my Home Screen it made chaos of all the folders of apps I had on my home screens. I will not use this app and will accept the loss of money as a lesson. I do not recommend this app at all.

Very handy app!. Easy to use and I really like that you can personalise it. I’ve been using it for years and it’s very handy for organising my life. The only suggestions I would make would be to change some of the colours of the background as it can be hard to read. Also, to be able to make the font bold.

Great. This app was my life! I work away so I found it easy to put my rostered time home and then book all my appointments accordingly. I recently went to start making some plans for the new year and noticed the price hike and then a restriction on data I can enter for the year? So I can’t put anything else in, Not sure when that’s been a thing but with only 15 days left of 2017 it’s not really worth the upgrade. Probably won’t purchase again.

Good to date Can keep improving eg more lines to make notes. Becoming a really good calendar app. Would you add the ability to colour in (different colour to background) individual (whole box) days. This would help in tracking an event visually. For instance a diet could be tracked with blue for good days and red poor days. Also add more colours so that diffent events have their own specific colours. Keep up the good work!

Excellent calender. I love this app however when I upgraded my phone it stopped crossing out the days past. I don't know if that comes down to my iPhone 12 or whether the app changed. I've marked it down because of that. Either way - I'd love for it to be restored and I'd happily changed my rating.

Love app but... I have used this app for years and it it great. This year 2022 you have changed the location bit and when you type in to the event the first word goes into the location drives me mad as then I have to delete the word from location and retype it into the event section. Sometimes when I type in a unit address like 2/456 it will not recognize the address and default to 456 or sometimes takes me to street address 2 and not 456. Please fix this. This was a quick easy calendar that you put event, location, set time and alert worked beautifully. But with the first word going into the location area I find that most annoying. Thank you

Better then the Apple default App before last update. Well worth getting, especially if like me you prefer the classic calendar look. I use it all the time. This latest update has made it inconvenient adding invites to events, the app use to autofill when I’d start writing email, now I have to go into contacts to add address unless I know them from memory. Really wish they fix this soon.

Fantastic for shift workers!!!. I work shifts in a hospital and love this app! It's so easy to use and quick to see what is coming up. I love that the templates are easy to use. The only improvements I would suggest are: - more colours, the dream would be a big colour palate like word has, but I'd settle for a white so I could just make lighter shades of the same colour. I’d love a different shape, other than the bar. I'd like to put it repeating dates e.g. Gym, or paydays but not have them be as obvious. Perhaps a circle in which you could just put a letter or two. Finally, I’d love to be able to share or combine this app with other members of my family who have this app. Otherwise this app couldn't be better!

Great calendar.. I have used this calendar for years and it is a terrific programme. However a recent change has resulted in the programme automatically inserting part of the “event description” into the location. It is a random selection from either the beginning or end of the event description and is always incorrect. This is really annoying and unnecessary. I cannot see that this automation would be useful to any user and I would like it fixed please. Or at least be able to choose for the programme not to make the insertion.

Why has it taken so long!. I’ve been using electronic calendars since the Newton and ‘none’ have ever been able to provide the overview experience as does this well designed app. Well done. A 3D view that lays out events like a GPS would be interesting...

Deletes everything!. I really loved this calendar until I tried to go back to previous months and realised it deletes everything from the past! I can’t see anywhere in settings to change this. I don’t understand why it would delete everything from the past.

Need improvements. How do you disable ‘Quick Add events’. This needs more development and there should be an option to turn off and on in settings.

Update. I love this app with the multicoloured calendars!! Great for every member of the family having a different colour. But can you change it back so the writing is at the top of the Event.... please.

Frustrating. I have had this calendar for well over a year now, paid for it thinking it was going to be a better set up only to find out that whatever I’ve set as a repeat roster disappears and is really frustrating when you want to check your schedule. Waited for an update for a fix but still nothing. Frustrating to say the least. Downloaded another app and couldn’t be happier. Steer clear of this one.

I prefer Calvetica but that kept wiping my data. I prefer the design and functionality of calvetica by far. It annoys me that I can’t choose the order the events are displayed in PocketLife . Ie the longer events lasting days are displayed over the top of the daily events so you can’t read them. Stupid! It doesn’t seem to zinc with my iPhone calendar which, when tho I don’t use ALL the other apps do when creating events so everything has to be added manually. Lots of other things bug me to but there aren’t many colour coded calendar apps so I’ll stick it out here (event tho I got duped into paying $8) till I find something better as I can’t see this getting any prettier

Handy, but crowded. Very handy app, but cannot for the life of me work out how to de-sync the birthday of every single person I have ever been a Facebook friend with. Unticked the birthday calendar and they’re all still there. It crowds everything out and cannot see the important stuff.

Best app ever. Cool program, I've been using it since 2019. But I'm missing a few features. Namely, to be able to mark the task as "done". And the second is to be able to download a calendar with tasks into a document and print it.

Very intuitive!. This is a great boost to the generic calender. Features like custom alerts and custom colors for different events are helpful. I have been using this calender app for several years nkw and will not go back to the basics anymore.

Bruno. This App is great, I’m able to schedule all my appointments of the month plus extra activities. It will be great if is a way to delete the stat days because make the days look so full.

Marked holidays. I dislike that there are so many statutory holidays and special days permanently marked on the calendar that are not pertinent to all countries

IPad bug. On the iPad, there is no Save nor Delete for All Events option. VERY bad for making a small change to a repeating entry. Otherwise an excellent app. Works well on iPod Touch. When I moved from PST zone to a city in MST zone & changed zone in Settings, new event times entered in MST show in PST in day view. I contacted Support & sent screen shots of this (time zone) problem, as they requested. This was 2 weeks ago & I still have not had a reply from them. Poor support!

Super frustrated. I used to love this calendar app so much but this is the third time this year that the app has crashed and deleted all of calendars! I tried to reach out to the developers for help and got no answer. I paid for this app and expect it to work and not continuously lose everything! Beyond frustrated!

Great Calendar. I have used this calendar for a few years. I like the how the calendar allows you to glance at the month and have an good idea of what is going on.

Number doesn’t work properly.. Whenever I put a number, it is deleted, so I should always try it again. It is inconvenient. Also, the location where I write is often changed. This app is very problematic. I wouldn’t say I like it, unfortunately. Thank you.

Love it !. I use the app everyday and would be lost without it. its colours and versatility is great. I book all my clients in it and use different colours for clients, bills, me time etc. My weekly schedule is very colourful.

Agenda. Awesome app. But Doesn't list civic holidays however which is a point against, would be nice to have the option to write a note for a specific day as opposed to having to create an event. For example say child lost first tooth, rode bike solo first time etc-- a note option would be great. Otherwise I use this app daily. It takes a bit of time to type in but does lessen hassle of having to carry daily planner Update: event text colour keeps changing black/white why is this? Update Sept 2022- notifications are not working as selected. Please check and resolve. Seriously considering another agenda app

Stopped working. Been using this calendar for 5+ years now and it suddenly stopped working. I already upgraded to premium for $6.99 and it still asks me to pay everytime I enter an event for 2022. I also tried the “restore previous purchase” but it didn’t work the calendar would just freeze. I emailed support a few times with no response for weeks now. Sad that I will be leaving this app now and moving on to a new calendar app… hopefully this fix this issue for other customers.

3 years so far. It’s been three years so far and I’m very happy with this product it hooks up to my calendar that’s already built into my phone I can just speak into my phone and make my appointments without having to write them down I can go back and look at pocket life and check all my appointments so much easier to use than the regular calendar I’m able to keep track and if I have to I can print off my schedule or take a screenshot and print it. I like how I can colour coat each appointment to a different colour given priorities are repetitive no Ness.It’s definitely worth what you pay

event reminders have stopped working. Please fix this important feature, otherwise there is no reason to continue paying to keep this app. In follow-up to your company’s AppStore ‘review auto-response’, I received email from the company, directing me back to the website to basically figure things out myself. We are in an age of fast-paced living with device apps needing to work. Companies not showing genuine personalized customer support will find those same customers only taking a certain amount of time to self-sleuth with app issues. If you’re not willing to assist those taking the time asking for guidance, that is the point at which customers lose interest and walk away from your products. It’s just that simple. I leave it to your company whether someone actually provides interest in fixing issues that could impact others as well, or if nothing further is done, and folks ‘walk away’. Your choice, ‘Pocketlife’.

Used to be good. Me and my family used to use this app quite regularly but now we’ve been forced to let it fall out of our daily use because it hasn’t been reliable… My integrated calendars from work no longer update in the app. I’ve tried removing them and reinstalling them to no avail. It’s really unfortunate they tinkered so much with something that was working so well.

Sooo much wasted time. I bought this to simplify my life to add appointments on my irregular work schedule, my work schedule keeps on disappearing, I have been using this calendar for year but now it’s just getting too complicated and un efficient as I’m wasting so much time, not worth the money anymore… keep things simple!! Better than Iphones own calendar. This app is better than the calendar that comes on the iphone. Update: I still like the app, but in whenever you add an event that has multiple words, it will delete the first word from the event title and place it in the “location”. Update: the developer contacted me with a settings solution (turning off location detection), and that worked! Very satisfied with the reply, solution, and the app.

LOVE IT!. I avoid any app that I have to pay for, but after using a trial version of this calendar, I choose to pay the small fee every year because this calendar is the best! It is completely customizable. I can keep track of all different aspects of my life in it, with everything color coded, and I love that the background can be customized for each month. Highly recommend!

Other events that clog up the calendar. Why cant we remove calendar auto events that have nothing to do with our schedule. We should have the option.

Love it!. Suggestions! A bit slow going from screen to screen, but that could be just my phone. Can you do something with the colours to categorize them? Show events in a day without overlapping them. Show events earliest first. Also show current date on the icon - more useful than a picture of a pencil. Always put Done in upper right. Never put Cancel in upper right. Can't tell you how many times I've hit Cancel by accident because it's where the Done button was on the last and subsequent screens! Also, there’s an issue with entering events where a rand word from the title field gets popped into the location field. Annoying!

Love this app but it is getting expensive. I have used this app since it came out. I even got a lot of guys at work to get it. But now $7 a year I just don’t know if it’s worth the money. I believe it came out in 2008 so 7 X 14 = $98 that is a lot of cash. I do believe it started out at around $4 though but that could have been shift life. I had both but this a great calendar. I did loose it once but it was an apple thing. But with money spent you think it would be free by now or at least get a discount like other apps do.

Have used it for many years on all of my devices but the one huge negative for me is that I can't link them all through a gmail acct instead of icloud. I detest the cloud, have never used it and this app is one of the few that doesn't offer an alternative to connect all devices. Perfect calendar app. Our busy family relies on this calendar! We cross platform share without any issues. Functions within it are great - notifications, colour coding, various view options, etc, plus it’s easy to use!

The automated moving of words is terrible. Overall good but the apps keeps moving my words to the “location” field. For example, when I type “Tom dinner Cheesecake Factory 6”, it’ll move “Tom” to the “location or video call” field which is super annoying! Then I have to enter “Tom” in front of dinner again and delete the location field. I have this problem every day.

Love it... but I wish. I wish it allowed for 2 things at same time... and colours were easier to apply to appointments. But other than that😍😍my life can’t live without it! My kids apts, my appointments, family events. This allows me to have everything at my fingertips. If it’s not in my calendar, we don’t make it! This is my most loved and used app next to sto cards. They are all I need on my phone. Love them❤️

Not good for shift workers. If you are a shift worker with no repeating work schedule, you are unable to select multiple specific days to record your work. You have to manually input each work day separately. Takes way too long.

So much better than common calendar apps. The apple and google calendars both have features missing that are vital to a student staying on top of a chaotic schedule, balancing between work, life and school. I love the presets and reminders as they are sorely needed in the apple/google calendars. The following are things I’d like to be included based on priority: 1. Tie reminder lists to calendar presets. This is something needed to be implemented as some reminders are not relevant. Say you have a work reminder and you are looking at your family/life preset, you don’t need to see it in that preset. You would, however want it enabled in your work calendar preset. 2/3. Either more preset buttons available (5-6 total) or the ability to have a list of presets and swap them out at any time with the 4 you can easily check. This enables you to have higher customization of presets and allows you to experiment more easily with different preset views. Ex: Trying to have a balanced view while keeping the calendars in the view themselves relevant to what the view is supposed to show. More preset buttons available would be easier to implement and I think 99% of people wanting presets could get away with 6 if they optimized them.

Good calendar. Best calendar so far. Like the old iPhone 4s. Anything above the iPhone 5 and up are too basic and pale writing. Hard to read. Like the colour options for the appoints as well. Pink for doctors, green for outing it’s Friends. A quick glance tells you if you have super important things to do that day or not.

Great potential. This is my third attempt. There are so many great things about this calendar but I can’t seem to print a calendar in Calendar form or figure out what AR is supposed to do as an end result. There’s a lot of programming involved and if I were more savvy to the words used to define the actions -I could probably figure it out in a more timely fashion. The issues I was having programming was not listed in the help menu and I could not find a phone number for Support. I’m going to keep trying because I think this app has great potential Next day, ok still trying. Now I have what appears to be Asian fonts

Search function needs work!. I like many of the features of PocketLife very much. You can customize how repeated events repeat, you can color-code events, you have two reminders available for each event, and many more. I've been using it for several years, and it's the best calendar app I've found since the Palm Pilot. But the search function is horrible. Events that I know have a particular word in the title don't show up at all when I search for that word, some of the events show up only going forward, it usually looks only in the title, but it's inconsistent. If it had a good search, I would give it 5 stars. As it is, I have to page through dates looking for old events, or future events, and often can't find them at all. Very frustrating. I'm writing this review hoping the developers will fix this. Thanks! I wrote the above a long time ago and it's still mostly valid. Unfortunately I just updated to your new version and the font has changed to Times. I hate it!!! And BTW, why have you changed the default color from blue to green? It makes everything harder. Judy

Best Calendar App!!. I tried a few other calendar apps and they didn't have as many options as PocketLife does. I love how I can change the picture on each month to whatever I want. I also like the feature of seeing the day's events right under the calendar. I have a very busy schedule and I keep my events all on this calendar. My only complaint would be that I have to pay for each new year. My suggestion would be to just have one set price and that would last a lifetime.

Great app... just one problem. I’ve had this app for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It really helps to balance my schedule. It’s an easy app to maneuver through, too. I’ve been having a problem the last couple of days and I’m wondering if anyone else has been having this issue. I had to go back to 2017 and add a few things that had happened on certain days for my record and once I enter them, the event appears on the calendar and then disappears. It basically deletes itself. Are we not allowed to go back in time and add something to calendar? If that is the case, that’s a flaw in the app.

better than the iPhone calendar. What we really like is the ease of syncing between our family iPhones. My daughter makes updates and I see them within a few seconds, perfect! I wish the help and support q&a allowed you to search for keywords. Some bugs: when the list is open sliding the day you want to add an event to by sliding it to the top then + doesn’t always pull up the topmost date usually a day back or forward,then have to back out to month view and select date then add

I love all the little details & the raw of use. makes the IPhone calendar be so obselite. I am still adjusting to the 13 ISO update with the dark screen. But this Calendar App has made my life so much more organized and manageable, I believe whatever changes they do, will be a good one. hIGHLY recommended to replace ANY calendar you have bc this one can be custom to fit your personal & business needs.

Love the look and ease of use. This was under my “Apps gone Free” so I decided to give it a whirl. I love it, I can have different colors for each category, a background scene, and reminders etc. you name it it has it!!! So if something is too good be true, there’s probably a motive behind it. When I went to insert another appointment, it stated that I had 14 more inserts left. Yes I was like “dang, let me see how much the upgrade costs. I’m sorry but for $4.99 I don’t think so. I love it but not that much. I need to go back to pen and paper anyway. So back to my Happy Planners, Filofax and and Travelers notebooks. I can buy a pack of 810 stickers for 3.99. Other than that pretty nice. And instead of putting the disclaimer at the bottom (not all of us scroll down that far) You should put it right behind that “free for a limited time” that is VERY DECEIVING.

Repeated changes. I had purchased 2022 calendar beginning of the year 2022. Currently it’s July 2022, all of a sudden a pop up came that I cannot use pocket calendar unless I pay $4.99. I had to pay to continue using the app. I had to fill my calendar for January 2023. I understand paying for new calendar year $4.99/- but paying in July 2022 for the year I have already paid did not make sense. Though I love the app and have been using for some years now. I will be switching to another app, since there is no integrity in the charges that have occurred.

Love it!. Only a few slight suggestions: 1)The different shapes available when creating a new event are nice, but please make more default colors available without having to slide the bar to get different shades. Sliding the bar to find the shade of brown I want for multiple events can be a bit tedious. 2)Make it so the X on days passed covers events that were set on that day. The event bars show up over the X, which makes it a little pointless when I have multiple events in one day. 3)Make templates adjustable as far as times are concerned and repeatable. 4)Make the default Event time option go longer than 5 hours. 5)Make it so the duration of an event can be seen on the calendar screen rather than having to go to the edit screen. 6) Loving the dark mode, and I like that the pictures I’ve set can still be used. However, the font color option vanished and is set to the default black color, which can’t be seen on some of the pictures I’ve chosen.

Best Calendar organizer ever!. I have tried lots of calendar apps in the past and nothing has met my expectations but this one! It’s fully customizable, you can edit the event name, set up color and movement effects, prioritize what event you want on top, mark an “X” to the days that passed, sync with google and iphone calendars, make your own event, check holidays, set wallpaper, and set box sizes! You can also add notes under the event you made.. I SUPER LOVE THIS! Highly recommended especially to shift workers like me.. keeps all your social, doctor’s, spas, and random appointments plus work schedule on track!

Best Calendar Ever. Pros: You will never miss an appointment with this calendar. If utilized properly, one will not forget anything. Easy and fun to use and it syncs with my iPhone. To date, I have not experienced any technical or loading issues. Con: I had this app a few years ago (an old version). When the newer version came out I was not able to use the old calendar as I had paid for it and it was functioning fine for me. I had to purchase the new version to view my calendar. I did not like that I did not have an option to keep the old calendar but forced to get and pay AGAIN for the new which is exactly the same as the old version. True User

TIRED OF MANIPULATIVE PRESSURE. . .. Really, Folks, threats that if we don't give a rating ("five star", of course) that we won't get updates? How manipulative, and unethical. You have a good product, and don't need to stoop to those kinds of bad marketing tactics. -2 stars for that. I would like to be able to delete some noted days from the calendar template. That would be really nice. Keep up the good work with the calendar, but dump the lousy marketing practices. Also, I have never been able to set up a regular custom alarm reliably. I'm using an iPhone 6S so don't know where the problem lies, but the default alarm sound is SILENCE. And then it tells you that it will only allow the custom alarm to be used once, not on a repeating event. So, it does me no good for my many repeating events. I'd love to see that fixed, and if so, you'd get the five stars you seek.

It works. I have used Google calendar for years but decided to try something new. I might also add I use Apple products and find Apple's calendar app grossly frustrating and inefficient. This app has since very unique qualities not find in any other calendar app I've tried and is the best Apple watch calendar app by far even though there is no complication for the watch face. I love the fact it will scroll the itinerary for the day when you tap the bottom of the day in month view. On the downside you pretty much have to pay for add ons that frankly I have no personal need for. The free version is with a try and I bet you'll purchase the app when you try the free version.

Best😄 calendar app out there. Have had for several years and they continue to stay updated with changes in the O.S. The customer service with the app is superb! After sending an email to them about lost data, they replied quickly and showed how to easily restore previous data. Downloaded other calendar apps but removed them because they could not match all the features of this app. Besides, customer service quality trumps everything! I have done several reviews already so I guess the only negative is being asked to do additional assessments.

Love this App!. This app is by far the best calendar app I’ve come across. I’ve tried to use the app on my iPhone since it’s free and syncs with all my devices (iOS), but I keep coming back to this one because of all the features available. I particularly love the way I’m able to make urgent events pop out in the calendar month view to bring my attention to them, along with the color coding of different types of events. It’s packed with everything I need to stay organized. It’s PocketLife for me.

I’ve tried a million calendar apps, this is my fav. I’ve had so many darn calendar apps- NEVER have I been able to customize like I can with this one. Love it. Syncs easily, so many great view options. Only complaint, but it’s minor- I love the “template” option. BUT if I set up a template and then set up a reoccurring event, if I go back later to change the template, it doesn’t update on the event I already have. So essentially I have to delete the first event, create a new template, and then RE add the event all over again. Now that I know it, I work around it, but this was frustrating at first. Developers- please change this!

“Piggy-Backs” on a free calendar. When I purchased this calendar, the advert claimed that it was a 1-time fee. Now, I cannot do anything with this unless I subscribe annually. One of the many great things about a ‘paper calendar’ is that one can access it without the need for an electronic connection; one can draw in it; reread notes £ poetry; copy the pages – undated calendars – to make a new journal for the coming year; I, especially, do not need to be concerned about who is tracking my data, disclaimer notwithstanding. Pen £ Paper works great for me! I can purchase a handmade calendar by a local artist and turn it into a photo journal at year’s end. If I need a digital calendar, I will just stick with the Apple [FREE] calendar £ continue to support local artists by buying one of their beautiful calendars.

Outstanding !!! A must for Families!. I checked out all of the calendar apps that I could find that met any of my needs (approximately 11). I reviewed them tried them out for ease of use, connectivity, ability to be shared, speed at which a new appointment can be added, ability to be displayed in a manner to easily viewed and deciphered. The was only one that provided everything that I needed. And it wasn’t expensive. If you need a good family calendar, that also has an Apple Watch app. This is it!!!! I promise, it won’t disappoint you!!

Best I have tried. I’ve been using PocketLife for a couple of weeks now and it’s turned out to be the best calendar app I have tried in over dacade of iPhone ownership. There’s almost always some missing functionality or some other issue I have to learn to tolerate with other calendar apps I’ve used. So far I have yet to find a deal-breaker here. I would have given 5 stars, but I would like the option to toggle between a full screen month view and the smaller one with the itinerary below. That’s nit-picking tho. Good job.

Awesome app. I use this app for everything from work, to social engagements, to appointments, and even bill paying. Basically, I organize my whole life with this app. Every color has a meaning. 💚💚 UPDATE: They offered me a paper calendar at my dentist’s office. Nice pictures, but I’ll never actually use it. I’ve used this app for years now. I really don’t know what I’d do without it! I’ve even started adding dinners out with family in a beautiful teal so I can look back and make sure we don’t go to long without getting together (it’s a busy life LOL). LOVE this app!!

Not so user friendly. Good app but doesn’t do many obvious things you will ask of it. Try getting it to land on today or try tapping the day you want to add an appointment and it goes off to some date or month you never asked for. Or try scheduling something for a specific date and you can’t do it by landing on that date. Must re-enter date after opening “+”. Big benefit is it’s NOT Google so doesn’t horn in on other apps. But other apps f with it. I have to delete it now and decide whether to reinstall because Apple has trickled me into letting it become an Apple app. Leave me alone Apphole.

Love this calendar app. So much variety and personalization. I’ve tryed others but they don’t compare. You can place Your own photos as background, choose to show or hide holidays (though I wish we could choose which holidays as that can get a bit too much PocketLife 🙄). Also you can choose from a vast variety of colors for your appointments , reminders as well as utilize your phone emoji’s. It really is a one stop does it all for me. Oh and you can even choose your view on how you can look at your calendar (year, mos, list etc etc so easy). Thanks PocketLife for a great Calendar app.

Look No Further!. I tried many different calendar apps I could not quite get them to work for what I needed until I found this one! This app does it all for me events reminders and alarms create calendars many many personalizations and options available! Whatever your appointment calendar needs are I know that you will find it here! whether your calendar needs simple or very complicated lifestyle I hope it works as well for you as it has for me I am going to be loyal for a long time!

Great program but.... I have used this app for a long time and I love this app but would like: 1) more alarm options as well as the option to sound alarm even when on silent; 2) the option to adjust alarm notifications to more than just 1 or 2 hours and more than 1 or 2 days. We should be able to pick the number of days and pick the number of hours. I hope the designers read these suggestions because sooner or later a new app is going to come out that does what I am asking for and I will switch. For this app to continue to have utility for me I need the requested modifications.

Beyond 5 stars. I live and breath by this app. It manages my crazy work schedule, home life, birthdays, holidays, everything! I love the calendar wallpapers. It's so easy to use! Best calendar app out there and I have looked high and low. I would highly recommend this app! It's so worth the money! All of that said, I've recently noticed that the ability to set appointments to private has disappeared. Am I imagining this? It's such a useful feature for me as I have to give access to my calendar to co-workers who I don't need to see all of my personal appointments. Will this feature return?

Beautiful Calendar. I was looking for a calendar that would sync with Google. My family each has a calendar and we sync so each can see each others calendar. I tried several other calendar apps. They would sync my Google calendar, but not my families. This calendar app does it seamlessly. It also has a beautiful layout and can be customized, including colors and fonts. I would highly recommend this calendar app. You can try it for free to see if you like it. I guarantee it that you will love this calendar.

Upgrading doesn’t work. I’m sorry to have to write this review. After paying to upgrade this app I continue to get messages to upgrade in the meantime the app won’t allow me to add anything to the calendar. I checked out “Help” and read that I had to delete the app and reinstall it. After the fifth time of doing this and resetting everything I’m done and moving on to another calendar. There is no way to contact anyone to remedy this either. It’s a shame because I really like this app.

Been using for years!. It’s a great calendar! I have been using this one for years now, ever since I got an iPhone. I do not like I calendar it is not able to show you as much detail as pocket calendar is you can have multiple calendars in multiple colors you can see it on a monthly basis daily weekly hourly. Also change backgrounds if you would like. I have many schedules I need to keep track up and I can see them all clearly on this calendar. I have enjoyed this calendar and will continue to use it.

So far so good. This is a great app if you are looking for an easy calendar that’s functional this is a good one. I didn’t give it 5 star because of two things. One is today an event I made for feb, for some reason also popped up on todays date (jan). I’m hoping that’s not going to be an issue. The other is a suggestion, I would have love the ability to have a notes page that would go along with the date. Or the capability to write notes but NOT reminders. We will see how this works. I also paid for the in app purchase of the AR... HATED IT!

Great Calendar App. Favorite features include easy to navigate and add/subtract events. I love being able to see the entire month and what is going on at a glance. Other apps require you to pick a day or maybe a week, at a time. It is also invaluable how it syncs with my outlook calendar automatically. So no matter whether it is a work event or private, I can see it here on my phone and on my calendar at work. Oh, and you can make your personal or private events private so the folks at work that share calendars can’t see your personal stuff, but they are all there for me to see what is going on.

Great color calendar keeps me organized. I love this calendar and that’s why I’ve been using it for years. Although an issue has cropped up that I don’t know how to resolve. When I enter an event the first word of a short sentence drops down to the location line and it’s impossible to delete it or retype the sentence, so that I can’t decipher the meaning of the event.I have to cancel the draft and start over. Is it because I sometimes add a hyphen, dash or other symbols? How do I fix it?

Easy to use/see calendar.. I still use a paper calendar because I can see the full month in front of me. I have been searching for an app that does the same. Found it! Love seeing the full month with details vs dots that you have to click on. Very happy. Love the new version with enlarged letters for quick glance. I can choose colors for each event. I have had a few questions and I'll email PocketLife and they respond quickly! Thank you for being the best and keeping my life straight!

Tired of words jumping to location field. Im tired of key words in my title jumping to the location field when I complete making an appointment. “Meeting with John Doe” does not mean the meeting is at John, Doe, or John Doe for example. Maybe just duplicate the info rather than remove it, or have a promo asking if I’d like that info moved or duplicated. Also, from time to time the app changes my start time after I’ve entered an appointment. I have had times where I know u entered a time correctly and then when I go back to look at it it’s changed to a random start time. For example, I put in a start time of 1:00 and it changes to 5:00.

Pocket Life. This was a great app until they changed the way you title the appointment. The app chooses to move names and words form the top line and puts them in the second line or what used to be the location. It’s really irritating. I can choose how to word the title may self. I don’t need the app to assume for me. I have to fix it every time I enter an appointment. Other than that it’s a good app. I’ve had it for years. **I heard from the developer who said all I had to do was go I to settings then event screen and turn it off. Simple fix. I love the app again!

Pocket Life. I rely on my calendar daily! Setting appointments, services, reminders, & etc. It is fairly easy to use and roomy enough for mulit entries. The reminders are very handy for me! 30 mins and 15 mins before works for my schedule. The only things I do not like, I am unable to see all of my appointments in advance! I used to have access to have bars for each events. Also do not care for all of the strange holidays that show up as traditional holidays I have never heard of before now. It just seems like extra noise to me.

Best calendar app by far. Tried many "upgrade from the iPhone" calendars. This one really is a great upgrade. Love the template feature so when you want to add a repeating event that doesn't occur on regular basis you don't have to re-type the whole thing. Use the emoji symbols to dress it up a bit. Best calendar app I have tried by far. Won't be looking anymore. Have never experienced any if the "in app" purchase problems that some have mentioned and when you create an event using Siri it only takes a minute to sync with this calender.

Well-designed app expressly for a busy person with multiple responsibilities.. This is the best scheduling app available! Colors allow coding for categories; eg I use "red" for out-of-town and "green" for airplane flight times. 2 alarms allow for repeat reminders. Editing and time changes are simple to perform. Numerous frilly options are available including images and wallpaper; I find these options unnecessary distractions. I paid $2.45 (?) to renew for 1 year - it was worth it ! One unanticipated problem: in early Oct 2014, the app malfunctioned for 48 hours, and I was helpless?! My highest recommendation!

Dates sometimes don’t stick. I used this calendar all year 2018. I like how you can see the whole month and dates set that’s coming up all at once glance. Also like the color coding and that you can schedule reoccurring dates. I don’t like however that multiple dates set in the previous months disappear somehow. Also when creating a date on the calendar you have to be real careful it sticks. I learned after you “schedule” something in the future it won’t stick. Or it will be on a total random date, so I double checked every time I scheduled on the calendar. Also it’s only free for 1 year. I won’t be using it for 2019.

Great app. Much better than the native Apple calendar. More flexible and capable. I especially like the ability to show more detail and use color coding at the event level - really makes the calendar very usable. Lots of neat little capabilities. Also great support. I had a minor problem with display of custom colors for holiday calendars. I got a reply to my complaint within minutes with a number of suggestions. When that didn't work they came back with a solution that did – all within hours! Great service. I would highly recommend this app!

Very handy and easy to use. I have had this app for years. It integrates with the calendar on my iPhone. It does have an annual fee for use but it is less than $10. I like the fact that you can set up events and assign them a color and even a motion to stand out in the monthly view. I also utilize the reminder function and set both so no event sneaks up with only a day to plan. It has many features beyond the ones that I use but browsing through the available apps back then this one looked to be the easiest to use. Thanks PocketLife

My go to app. I much prefer this app over the Apple app that comes with my iPhone. The only issue I have is when I do a quick add with a time in the title, it automatically adds a timeframe which I don’t intend and which is incorrect. For example, I’ll say I stayed late at work until 6:10pm. It will delete that time in the title and add a time frame of an hour, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. It starts from my usual work end time that I have scheduled on that day but I don’t know why 1.) it decided to add a time frame that I didn’t ask for, and 2.) the timeframe doesn’t have the option of fractions of an hour such as 40 minutes.

GREAT calendar !. I used to use iPhone’s calendar app. I disliked that if I deleted an entry by mistake, I couldn’t get it back. No undo. I changed to Pocket Life calendar bc it lets me RESTORE deleted appointments, and all the accompanying notes that we sometimes have attached to an appointment. Love this ! Also, Pocket Life cal lets me search further backwards and forwards for calendar entries; when a Dr appointment was say a year ago, or when a building lease expires—like say 4 years from now. Pocket Life is way better than iPhone’s cal,,, AND more colorful, pleasing to look at.

Perfect!. My favorite calendar app by far. Love the full month calendar view. Entries are color-coded by calendar type and are still legible; I can still read all the entries in a block of easily identifiable calendar color(or even change the color of individual entries). It's great to be able to look at your calendar and see the whole month overview with specific info and organized by color. Also love that searches allow me to go back further than the iPhone calendar which only let you go back a year. Also entering events is pretty easy.

PocketLife Calendar. I was using another calendar that served me well for a few years. But, I guess the IT people have to justify their jobs by changing things that were working so well! By adding more "stuff", the print got so little on my iPhone6+ that I couldn't see it very easily! So, I went hunting for another calendar that I could customize the viewing to make it easy for me. I love this app! Please, don't change anything that is working so well! I like change but only when it is needed.

I can change backgrounds (even use my own pics!!), customize templates for easy additions to the calendar, color-code events, set alarms, change color and fonts of lettering and even share with family via the cloud. Only wish I could add birthdays (via the default template) for people who aren't in my contacts, such as kids and set it for alarms. Till then, I'll create my own template. Otherwise, I love it! I've been using it for about 4years now and no plans to ever change!

Wonderful Calendar. I have used this app for 8+ yrs and have been very very happy with it. I recently noticed if I’m adding a calendar event and it has somebody’s name on it the app takes the name and puts it on the location. I like to put an address into the location and it’s very annoying the app puts what I wrote there and then have to remove. I hope the developers change that. Other than that I’ve use this app for years and years and years and absolutely love it recommended to all.

Best calendar app!!. I have been purchasing this calendar app for years now and I will continue to purchase it for years to come!!! It is super easy to use, I like how everything can be color coordinated and also how I can see wheat is on each day just by looking at the calendar without clicking on each day. This app is the closest thing to a paper planner I’ve found and I love it!! And even better I can share the app with my husband onto his phone so he can see everything we have going on too

Happy customer. I went from a palm to the iPhone. What I missed from the palm centro going to the palm pre was the color coding options for events. That's the best feature on this calendar. I too had a few problems with my events showing after I added them at first. You have to make sure you have the right calendar selected (if you have multiple email accounts synched with your phone) as well as make sure you're adding events by selecting the + sign instead of clicking the date and trying to add an event that way. Overall, I think the price is worth it.

Editing events. I have not been able to update my events. If I want to change date, color, calendar. Anything. I hit the edit button and everything disappears and goes back to month view. I have tried to find a way to contact the ap and ask for help, but haven’t found a way of doing so. I love being able to use color coding, keep things separate in different calendars. In the most part. I love this app. But been having problems editing events for several months.

Used to love it but not anymore!. I have had the PocketLife calendar for a couple years and I have loved it!! But I noticed over the last few months that when I went back into my calendar to look at dates and events for past months that things were disappearing. I don’t use a handwritten calendar. Everything in my entire life, including some really important dates, were stored on this app. Well now that I’ve realized after you’re into the next month the month before starts dropping off, I’m very upset. Immediately looking for a new calendar and am now disappointed in the money I’ve spent on this calendar over a couple years.
