CanCard. Nice app. Highly recommend. Saves my wallet from all those seldom used but necessary to have cards (AAA, AARP, medical, Hertz, etc.) Not always perfect data translation but easy enough to modify. I wish it could be added to the iPhone control center. Maybe a future rev (quick access like wallet). There is a widget but already have several widgets there and they are more for quick data review. Getting the premium even though I won’t ever even need more than the free 200. Keep up the good work!

Incredible Sales Tool. The CamCard App is an amazing way to save and categorize your contacts and their business cards which includes all contact information crucial to conducting business in a professional manner. I’ve found simply by taking the pictures of business cards there could not be a more efficient, effective tool for networking and capitalizing on these contacts.

Bad update. I’ve used this app for years and loved it. Told hundreds of contact how great is was. But it started shutting off when I opened open it. I decided to delete and reloaded. Now it opens but have to pay ‘$50 a year to seem my cards. Lucky my iPad hasn’t been effected. I’m addition. Contacted by support this week. I was able to download the app again and skip the premium package. Signed in and retrieved all my cards and contacts. Thank again. I would high recommend this app if you are in the field and meet new clients everyday. I tell everyone this is the way to go.

Contacts are gone. I installed this app a while back and it seemed okay, although it wouldn’t save the contacts to my iPhone contacts. I didn’t like having them separate but I dealt with it. I recently went to try to use the app and it closes before I can see any information it contains. I went to the App Store and I was given the option to get the app... not update, but get. I installed the second copy onto my phone and it didn’t pick up any of the information from my first copy. Both app versions are on my phone but the one that has contacts in it I cannot access, so I’m afraid to put contacts in the new one. I don’t want to lose those, too! If the developers can’t offer me a solution I’m going to uninstall both of them and just use my camera and my iPhone contacts and forget about the idea of not having to type information in. At least if I type it in I can see it and use it! I can’t even view the contacts in the original app anymore. Be warned... it happened to me. It could happen to you.

Upgrade version gone down from 7.42.2 to 7.30.0??. Not sure what is going on with this upgrade but looks like it is going back, not just the version number but looks like it is introducing ads to it and giving you to option to upgrade to a premium account to get rid of them. I think I’ll wait to see more reviews about this new upgrade.

Massed up a really good app.. I had been enjoying this app for a long while and now after the apple iOS update is not working. Cannot open the old app to retrieve my cards. I did as the app developer suggested on other reviews and downloaded their new version of the app. I logged in which was an issue in it self and then it only transferred a few of my cards so I’m still don’t have the rest of them. The new app doesn’t have an ‘import’ function only export. Need to know how to get rest of my business cards. Also the new app has function issues. It has problems responding to my prompts. I’m really disappointed. I guess we’ll never be able to get rid of our paper cards because of this scenario.

Great app with glitchy capturing feature.. I have use the app for several years and have recommended it to dozens of new sales reps. The only problem I have is the capture of the images. It takes the pic before focusing and incorrectly OCR’s the image! I correct some of them but most are just stored with errors 😐 Bruce from Huntsville Alabama

Fast and easy to use!. While standing in an airport security line I heard a gentleman telling his colleague about CamCard. I went ahead and downloaded the app, scanned 15-20 cards received on that trip, and corrected very few scanning errors. Meanwhile, the colleague was still unsure about the app. I tapped hom on the shoulder, told him my immediate experience, and have been telling people about this app ever since.

President. I believe that “CamCard“ is one of the most valuable applications that I have for my iPhone. Not only does it allow me to collect all the cards that people give me, but it allows me a ready resource to be able to recall names, email addresses, and any special comments that I have about people that I’ve met in various meetings. I would highly recommend this application to anyone who wants to try to keep track of all of the context of they’ve made, especially in this day of meeting many people during many types of business applications.

OCR issues and no AI. Do not get this app. It take longer to scan and correct all of the mistakes than it does to manually add the contact. There is limited AI. Every card I scanned placed the whole address including state and zip was added to the first address line. Address are scanned in all caps, annoying. Seriously, how hard can that be to fix the ALL CAP issue. OCR data is placed in the wrong fields. Honestly this app is useless. just useless. I read the other reviews and was shocked by how many gave this app a great review. And I was equally surprised by how long this app has been on the market considering a the issues and bugs it has.

User Beware!!!. I have had this app for a few years and spent a lot of time scanning my cards, taking the pictures and completing the info to where I built a good database of contacts. Recently I have been trying to log in and the app would open, I could see the contacts and then it shut down. Unable to do anything... no option to update it or fix the issue so I downloaded the new version (which made no sense to me that there were two coexisting versions of the same app on my iPhone) and deleted the old one assuming that by signing in all my contacts would repopulate. I signed into the new one and all my contacts and hard accumulated database is gone. Not even my profile was copied. Shame on the developers! It almost feels to me like a purposely made attempt at getting people to sign for additional back up and cloud services. I don’t think I will continue using it. Unreliable!!!

Business card reader. The application is just ok. Programmatically no better or worse than others. There are no noticeable bugs. I have been using this application for many years, and not until when you apply fixes, which actually was a upgrade in hiding, was I disappointed. My old basic product had no limits and no subscription fee. I was sad that you drank the cool aid by jumping on board with subscription fees. Well you can count me out as a customer. I prefer not to go through a shake down. For the non-US teams feel free to look up the idioms. You get only one star, if it could be lower it would. You guys screwed up a pretty good tool.

Managing many cards: simple to use. I've used CC for over a year and could not do without it. People game their cards and watch as I scan them and ask, "Tell me about that. Does it work?" As I hand the card back, I show them how easy it is to use and edit. That is saves both the image of the card and populates you contacts is a great redundancy. A couple of glitches reading odd typefaces, but overall it’s a dream

Easiest way to capture and input business cards. I’ve been using CamCard reader for a couple of years now and it is an amazing product. Only drawback that I have found with this product is that you have to be in sufficient light in order for you to be able to get the information transferred to your phone. Other than that it is the absolute easiest way that I have found to capture and then put business cards without having to type them manually into my address book. I absolutely love this app and would recommend it to anyone.

Great app. It scans cards. Does somewhat of an OK job of capturing information. I have to edit it every once in a while but it is not too bad. It stores the captured info. It even copies that information to the iPhone. If that was not enough, this contact list is available online in case I lose my phone. It does a lot of good work when you consider that it is a free app.

I friggin LOVE this app!!!!. This app has been sooo handy for me. I love everything about. The fact that it dates when you received someone’s card, groups that you can make to bundle cards that were all received in one location, the ability to write notes on each card, the ability to search key words or locations or dates to locate a card. And he fact that it’s free is awesome. The ONLY little problem is, and it can not be blamed on the app at all, is that it sometimes is not able to read information off of a card correctly. I’ve seen this happen only with unique custom designed cards. I am CONSTANTLY telling people, anyone who will listen, about how awesome this app is and everyone is very appreciative of learning about it.

Saved my life in time!!!. Oh my! A co-worker shared this app with me and it has changed my life! I had one of these random projects I needed to complete and had to enter over 200+ business card info into a spreadsheet. I had already entered 121 cards manually into and Excel spreadsheet when my co-worker shared with me that there is a program that does this. To my surprise it worked and served my needs. I scanned about 140 cards and exported it in excel. It cut down the amount of work time I had to spend on my project. Best thing EVER!!!!

Customer service is non-existent. I’ve been a paid Camcard user for nearly ten years. They changed to a subscription format which I chose not to participate. I later added Camcard for Salesforce which is a subscription service. I moved my business to a different CRM but forgot about the subscription. I’ve contacted Camcard 5 times through their support and email channels to attempt to move my Salesforce subscription to the premier. I have had zero response from them regarding this. I have received 3 marketing emails which is frustrating. Good product, but just don’t rely on their service.

Amazingly easy to use.... Intiuitive...accurate...excellent app. It was super easy to use within seconds. Over 11,000 5 Star reviews caught my eye and I gladly add myself to that list. I highly recommend this application. I can’t believe it was free. I would have paid for this. Seriously...download this app and use it in good health. The creators of this little piece of technology should be very proud of the work they put in!!

Saves time. I don’t normally use apps or any technology at all because I generally hate it, but this has been a god sent. Taking a photo is quick and easy and I learned to do that in first grade with a real camera. This app saves a lot of time especially for someone who hates to text and type-taking a photo is my speed. I guess you can guess my age I’m not a millennial!

Clean, classy, fast. Amazing, absolutely amazing. My coworker told me about this app and it’s a life saver. No more losing cards and it looks classy when I am exchanging cards and can scan it and then put it in my pocket when meeting someone else. The benefit of it being in your contacts as well? Unbelievable. I don’t get excited for apps very often. I don’t even write reviews but this one deserved a 5 star rating!

Love it!. Have been using it for years and love the ability to save and organize all my business cards among any of my devices (app for any platform). It’s really useful to be able to see on the map where they are so I can just pass by if I’m close by for prospecting or touching base with existing clients. It also links to my CRM but changing to Dynamics so we’ll see how that goes... great app!

Caveat emptor - buyer beware. Had paid the app price a few years back and contacts synced to Outlook. Kind of. Now my app was replaced with a new service fee version for my convenience. I guess my money is gone and it is assumed I should pay a monthly fee now. I feel this is unfair because my working version was taken away. The app worked fairly well when I had the capability to sync contacts. But the scanning was only really ever about 85-90% accurate. Just be aware, the terms are subject to change and you may lose access.

It's great when it works!. When it works, it's great! It automatically loads card information and updates it to me Google contacts. I love it. But then every once and awhile I see that it didn't upload the last bunch of contacts. Then I gotta go back and see what's missing and figure out why it didn't load... It's a pain. So far it's worked often enough and well enough to be worthwhile. If it's dips a little bit though, it's just easier to upload the business card contacts by hand...

Saved my sanity!. When I got into the senior services industry I was amazed at the amount of business cards became part of my daily life. Coming from real estate I thought business cards were becoming less and less part of business life. But in this industry they multiply like dust. I have been paperless since 2010 and this avalanche of cards wasn’t working for me. I tried several solutions and none worked well until CamCard. Now I take a picture of cards as they come in, make sure the card reader read them properly. Upload into my CRM, and send an email to set a meeting, then throw the card away. Now, where ever I am, I have all my referral partners cards with me and can pull up or share at a touch of a finger. All I have to remember is first or last name, company name or industry and there they are!

Pretty okay, useful, but room to improve. Decent App, well organized, but the text/font recognition algorithms need adjustment, and the edge recognition feature for cards could use some greater sensitivity. Other than that (which is huge because not having to go back and edit text is a big time waster when trying to input multiple cards), the app is well conceived and performs well.

Worked well until it kept crashing. It worked well for me for a couple of years. Then about a year ago it started crashing a few seconds after startup. It does that that 95% of the time and only works sometimes. Very frustrating, I truly liked the app, but it’s time to move on to a different app

Impossible, but here it is. Cards have been bane of my existence.. drudge of entering them always put off then contacts go cold. With this, it’s like new life. 10 seconds. Just put card down, let camera focus and done! All info, even live link to website and touch to email them.. just like that.. on to next card. 1 enjoyable minute watching this thing go and I’m done! On to emailing. A pleasure.

I LOVE THIS APP!!!. I have looked at MANY business card organizational apps and CamCard is by FAR the best I have ever found. It is much more accurate than other card scanners and it is very easy to edit any thing that doesn't scan correctly. In addition, it's user interface is VERY user friendly. The you can email or make a phone call to someone with the simple touch of their address or phone number. It is VERY customizable! I love that it allows you to have a picture of the business card, along with a name and their business, in the index. This app is free....but I would have gladly paid for this app (I DON'T meant to plant any ideas in the developer's head!). As SOLID 5-Star rating!!

CamCard. I have been using this app for quite some time and just installed the newest version to work with IOS 14.3 It makes it easy to add a new contact if you have a business card you just scan it and verify information and edit if necessary and you will have both a copy of the card and the information in your contacts.

The update and or premier does not work. I loved this app up until the last update . I gave them 5 stars before in a review but had to change it to 3 stars. Before I purchased premium, I could take a picture of a business card and it would load the card info into the information. Now I have to enter the business card information?! WTH ?! I am considering dropping this app if they can resolve the issue. I would go for app support but it is in an Asian language . Please fix the app so I can keep it.

Help. I don’t know where else to get help but on this review. I’ve had this app for around 5 years. I’m in Constuction. I’ve had No problem and enjoy the app very much. until I lost my phone. I got a new phone last year and downloaded the app. And it only lets me sign in as a new customer. I lost all my hundreds of card to my customers and business contacts. Is it still in the cloud? Or is my life over.

Useful and Effective. Extremely useful to get rid of all those pesky cards that live in your wallet, drawers, etc. The fields are great in that it allows most every option and even a backside of the card. I love that it also saves a pictures. The auto generate mode doesn’t always work (mostly due to odd fonts, etc) - but it’s very useful as a benchmark to edit the information.

Just Lovely. Looks like I am in the same boat as everyone else that downloaded the update after the iOS update. Good thing I didn’t actually toss all of the cards I have received. I really hope they can get this fixed otherwise this app is completely useless. Their support is outstanding as well. I tried to submit a questions to them about this issue and it game me an error message, can’t send at this time please try again later. I thought about buying the full version but after hearing it has had the same problem I think I will just save my money.

Simply doesn’t work…. Just downloaded this app based on high reviews. Scanned my first card, took a couple minutes to actually see the card, scanned and didn’t get a single letter correct. Tried again and still failed. Tried another card…failed. Not wanting to give up I tried a third card and same thing. I have a brand new iPhone 14 and the app can’t utilize the camera properly. I can’t click the screen to manually focus on the card. Picture is taken and it’s blurry so no info is correct. Take the picture and it’s pretty clear, most of the info is incorrect. If I have to manually type in all the info on these cards I might as well just take pics and write it out myself. Skip this app, saves no time and simply doesn’t work.

Not sure yet. The first few times I used this I had to correct many thing after taking the photos. So, I decided I didn’t like it. However, a few days later I decided to try it again and the last three cards I did were almost perfect. Then this request for review option came up. I think it’s to soon for a review but it’s a free app and seems okay so far. Don’t forget to review the card 100% before saving.

Executive/Sales. I’ve been using CamCard for over 5 years both professionally and for personal contacts. It’s a wonderful tool for keeping prospective new business partners and customer leads, managing existing partners/customers, keeping personal notes about all your contacts i.e. anniversaries, important dates, spouses, children, etc., tracking your own personal contacts, i.e. physicians, coaches, teachers, favorite places, etc. You can also quickly shard your own business card with others from your phone without needing a stack of business cards handy! It’s GREAT when traveling and at events!! THANK YOU CamCard for such an effective organizational contacts management tool 😁

Great app - but annual charge to use it?. I’m a big fan of the app (5 stars) and happy to pay for good software, but really think an annual charge of ~$48 per annum is rather steep for just a card scanner. Hence the free app / no charge representation that many reviewers / websites show is misleading and hence the 2star rating. Like other products would be happier to pay a one time charge that is more reasonable (like many other apps), rather than a recurring charge. I am not a corporate user and while the 500 card limit is generous, I would rather buy a product and use it as much as I want / need, than to pay for it every month / year to perpetuity.

Can’t share contact. Been using for two years but just noticed a bug. I cannot share a contact from iPhone contact list if it is originally created in CamCard. It will send in iMessage or email and the receiver can open it, but when they click create new contact from the options, nothing happens and it doesn’t show into their contact list. Only happens on contacts created through the app, the ones created directly in iMessage work just fine. Tried with several people with different versions on iPhone, same results. That means contacts I message to others cannot be saved on their phones. This really needs to be fixed.

Fine…until…. Just started using this card reader today so I haven’t tried searching for business cards or any of that but adding them was pretty easy UNTIL I went to add one but was apparently on my profile instead of the card scan section. I accidentally added someone else’s business card where mine should be. Simple enough fix, right? Delete it. Except NO! The “default card cannot be deleted” so I can’t delete that card until I’ve added a new one and I don’t have a business card! So now it seems I’m stuck with someone else’s information where mine should be! I can somewhat understand why this safety would exist, so ppl don’t accidentally delete their information, but wouldn’t they have a copy of their own business card? Isn’t it more likely someone would need to completely delete their information from their profile than they’d erase it and not recall any of their info or be able to easily retake the photo of, again, their OWN business card??? This has been frustrating, I can’t edit section by section, I can’t delete, this is annoying. If ANYONE knows of a fix plz help. But yeah, 3 stars anyway because I like what I was experiencing prior to this issue but I haven’t used it long enough to rate it any higher plus this silly problem is beyond frustrating!

CamCard. This is one of the most awesome and fascinating apps on my phone and it’s free. You can actually take an image of someone’s business card and it will OCR the card turning it into English and entering it into your contacts automatically. I’d recommend this app for any sales guy, business people who receive a lot of business cards. This is a go to quick and fast awesome scanner for business cards!

A Life Hack. I rarely write a review of the apps I have but I must write for this one. I found this through a link on Pinterest for professional ladies like myself. I gave it my benefit of doubt. It nearly blew my mind to how effective this is because I usually have a stack of business cards that I haven’t once touched. I am also aiming to be paperless because I can’t tolerate that many papers in my home. This was worth it. I love it! The only beef I have is it looks for the card’s edges when it is already present. With today’s business cards being rounded, maybe this can update to accommodate the MOO cards. Other than that, I love this!

As a creative, not so great. This app works great with normal white background business cards. Thing is, as a photographer/artist, I get business cards that have colors and background colors other than white. The app has a hard time recognizing that. There for, I have a hard time scanning those cards and sometimes can’t. That is because the app tries to pull out the font from the background that it is trying to white out. Unfortunately, this app is no use to me when I really want it to be. 😔

You need to improve the OCR capabilities the advantages of the scan are negated due to poor OCR. I like the idea and. The photo of the card is good but it normally requires 10-15 minutes to straighten out the data and if you don’t do this it’s very difficult to do a search it’s easier to just fill in the data but I do like the photo of the card. You need to work on your character recognition or I’m going to look for a better program I apologize if you have a pay upgrade

Switched Application Model. This could be a really great application, if the OCR were improved. Be sure to check any cards you scan, don’t scan and pitch the cards. I also like being able to capture the front and back images. Then there is the “But” the developer released a CamCard HD app for a higher cost, then later decided to stop and switch to a subscription model. Fine if you want to do that, but return the cost for the app that disappeared. Also the annual fee is a bit high for features that were originally free, but have since been removed. It looks like there are a number of other similar apps to consider anyway.

Excellent Product. Excellent speed and accuracy! Transfers faster and more accurate than and if using the business platform you can set up an automatic sync from all subordinates devices which will allow you to absorb their contact info yet not transfer your own. This app not only ends wasted time and mistakes in the data entry but holds the original picture of the business card, including both sides. The app also confuses to sync the contacts within to your devices contact... therefore if the app were to have a catastrophic failure your data is still in your devices. So as long as you back up your device regularly it will always be in your device backup! Can’t say enough about the ease of use and accuracy. Jh

Errors every time. I have used the free version of this and thought it was clever. Now I paid for the full version thinking it would be amazing, but the truth is the technology being used to determine the text on cards is lacking. I have to manually correct every entry which defeats the purpose of the app. Even after I take the image 3 times to see if it gets better. The cards are brand new and very clear and I’m still correcting the data. The address is the worst. It doesn’t recognize the format and throughs the entire address on one line. If there is a refund procedure it would definitely ask for my money to be returned.

My personal assistant. This app is great. I scan my business cards each day and it automatically syncs with my contacts on my cell phone. I have two cell phones (personal and work) and having the CamCard app on both phones allows me to easily access my business contacts quick and easy. My favorite part is when a business contact calls either phone, their name and title show up on my screen. I love this little mini personal assistant in my back pocket.

Great App. Best app to keep your contacts. I’ve been using it for years and has not let me down yet. Yes, the text recognition is not perfect, but it takes just a few edits and its ready for whenever you want to bring up the information. Much better than carrying around a fat wallet full of paper. Also, you can easily share the info once its correctly stored via text or email. Super easy. Great job guys. Almost forgot, cloud based so you have your contacts everywhere!

Bring Back The HD Version. This version is okay. Layout is okay but the HD layout was much(!) preferable. Scanning is fairly easy with this non-HD version. The OCR errors are no worse or better than any other scanner available. As with no many here, I lost a lot of cards when the HD version was no longer supported. Signing into my account doesn’t solve the problem of reloading my list of HD cards. They’re simply gone unless I view them via a browser connection. While not perfect it’s still about the best choice for non-business use but the HD version was definitely the best choice.

A great business tool. This app is amazing. The way that it can capture all the data on a business card in seconds is a life saver. No more piles of business cards everywhere- now I throw them out once I’ve added them into CamCard. The other great feature is that you can export all your contacts from the website onto a CSV file- very useful!

Rubbish App. This app doesn’t read names, addresses, email address or company names properly at all. The time I spend editing these details is not worth it. I was recommended this app via a colleague, after I had been using AABBYY card reader, which was much better than this. If you have the time to sit and edit each card you scan in, then use this app. If not, I’d strongly suggest using another.

Good image recognition with limitations. I’ve tried this app and ABBYY app. This app has better image to text recognition meaning that you don’t need to manually edit the texts. The biggest drawback of this app is the inability to save to update to Contacts. I’ve looked everywhere for this functionality. Would have been 5 stars with this feature added.

Great!. Brilliant app. Just needs to deal with camera blur options on earlier iPhones at close up range - which is an iPhone problem. Otherwise. A dream! Haven’t stopped using this :)

Recognition and clarity. I’m using the app on the iPad pro2018. Thumbs up for helping to reduce the amount of paper card filing. Improvement as I see it: clarity of the card post photo taking is not great. Recognition can still be improved. I have to manually correct a few cards especially for cards where the company logo is closed to the name.

Economical Time Saver. What a great app, no wastage of cards, I take a photo, the app retrieves all information and updates to my contacts all within a minute. Sometimes information needs correcting but that is rare. Love it.

Incorrect data. Too often it doesn’t pick up the subtle changes . The phot read bom when the text says born as an example. Not super convenient when you need to edit every single entry

Great way to save business cards. Very easy process of photographing business cards & carry them with you all the time. Double sided cards are captured too. Highly recommended.

I Use to Like this App. CamCard use to work for me, now it opens and shuts down within seconds. This has happened to me before on an iPhone 6 so I deleted it now it’s happening to me on an iPhone X. I’ll now delete it for good. RIP CamCard.

Presumptions. I got CamCard to easily enter details into MY CONTACTS. That worked well. I absolutely do not want somebody else to manage my info like CamCard is offering, so I reject the “kind” offers to go online and “share” MY info. I am also very anti any subscription model. Good for the receiver, but not the payer.

No Support - No backwards compatibility. If you have cards scanned and stored under a previous version, you can kiss them good bye. The updates are not able to read the old versions in a reliable manner.

Fantastic. Best app since sliced bread. So easy and avoids those embarrassing moments when you bump into people that you haven't seen for a long time and don't recognise them. Everytime l go overseas on business l search the company and acquaint myself with the people l have had interaction with in past to save those embarrassing moments. Thanks for such a great product.

Infected app or coincidence, read this and decide.. A few hours after installing this app I got hackers repeatedly attacking my gmail accounts as well as facebook. I received multiple text messages with verification codes from Facebook and Google. Changed my passwords 3 times and only minutes after each time, text messages would start flowing again. Funny this stopped after removing this app and changing my passwords again. I’ll leave it up to the reader to judge.

Doesn’t sync to Apple contacts any more. Great app that was useful to sync to Apple contacts on all devices. Now it seems that feature is no longer available on the free version and no mention if it does this on the paid subscription :(

Product is great but character recognition still needs some work. Have been using this product for while. It’s is a time saver, but the character recognition still needs some work. Often misses characters at end of titles, company names, etc.

Great app used it for years accurate & fast. I’ve used this ap for past 4yrs, it’s easy to use & generally accurate. Some fonts occasionally not converted properly but easy to edit. Can save to contacts which saves lots of time.

CamCard. Once upon a time this wasn’t a bad application - computerised teledex so to speak for all your contacts - these days I may as well take a photo, edit it myself, because every single card has details that are totally up the creek! In this day and age a scanning application should actually be able to read, not just “guess”!

Great app!. Hello team! Great job on the app. I like it a lot. However I notice the following glitches. - when I add the back side of the card it doesn’t add anymore details and when I try and add more details it doesn’t allow me to see the backside image of the card taken by the app at the same time, so I have to copy and add details manually. - the camera scan doesn’t always recognise details correctly, so I have to retype manually at times. - I think there should be a notification of details have not been scanned correctly and also to alert you that you should take front and back side, to add all possible details to the program.

App appears to be broken. Takes a photo now, and then freezes. Maybe it’s just me - but I now can’t use it. Also - it used to automatically update google contacts etc - but now they want a monthly fee for the priceless. I will try and get app working again, then update my post

Lost everything no stars for this one. But had to put one begrudgingly. I lost everything I had stored on this app during an update that was poorly done. I now have to choose to either start again or give up. With more than 1000 contacts list Personally I’d give this program a very wide berth as the writer simply doesn’t respond to his ‘clients’ either. Client service nil program original version great until it was changed by an update. The update waste of time.

Rip off don’t buy this app. I purchased the premium version of this app a few years ago and it has worked pretty good on balance. Recently it would appear that they updated the app which no longer functions on my iPhone. It contestant crashes and also asks me to upgrade to premium when I already own the premium version. The ‘support link’ does not work and is in Chinese when I go to the website on my desktop computer.

A must have app for all. Never worry about losing a card or make your wallet thick. No need to type in all info while adding contact. This app does it all. Download and be grateful..

There is a problem they need to change before 5 stars. When I changed the name on a card that it was saved but not read correctly, it saved as a new contact on my phone book- although it stay the same on the cc app... now I have to go in the phone book and delete the first contact with the wrong last name

Free Version - Useless. Useful APP, except You can’t export you scanned Cards to Outlook without a Paid subscription @ 60.99 per year.

Inaccurate. Most cards it does not get company or email correct. Cannot tell difference between Capital I and the number 1. Brutal. Not happy at all with this investment or this app

Improve character recognition. Still doesn’t have perfect character recognition even with relatively clearly written cards and terribly with more graphic results.

No update when buying new phone and iOS. Beware! Years of cards were lost when I updated to new cell and iOS!!! The app installed on our cells but is unusable! Instead they have a new up that u can download but that doesn’t get your lost cards back!!

Irritated. This is twice now this app has stopped functioning- opens for approximately 2 seconds then shuts down. Last time lost ALL my app data. This is irritating and time consuming to repopulate, as well as I didn’t keep the hard copies of the cards, as shouldn’t be necessary. Otherwise the app would be excellent, but cannot accept the poor reliability!

Great product - all of a sudden it stopped working. Dear Developer, I purchased this app years ago and have been very happy with it and the improvements released from time to time. All of a sudden in 2019 it stopped working and I would get the odd notification that I had not used it for a while. Well!!!!! It has now switched to a “Subscription” application and I am quite “jksdfjsdk” about what the application developer has done. $65.00 per year US$ is high. Not that I have any other option, but now I have to look. I am not impressed. Rob

Had the free version with over 80 business cards and with out notice i can’t open the app anymore as it needs updating and it never got updated due to a new version that got created, so i downloaded the new version but i cant import all my cards so i lost several years of important cards i had collected. Now im lost and can’t regain my cards and i never kept originals as i trusted this app. 🤬. I sent a message and never got a response. Will never use this app again and do not recommend it, with out notice they just clear your info.

Don’t even download this app. I used the previous version.... and lost all the cards I copied. The old version wouldn’t even open in iOS 12 and all the cards are lost. Completely useless.

CamCard Scammer. Yes, you read that right. I had paid for premium version and then all of a sudden the app was turned into a monthly licensing option, with no regard for those who had paid version. There is no refund whatsoever. I deleted my app and lost all data. Very disappointed!

Doesn’t work. Every time I open this app it crashes and I have tried to contact support but I get redirected to a Chinese only website. As I can’t read Chinese I may as well just decide that I’ve lost my money on this one. I’ve read a few other reviews and they were able to download some new app but don’t waste your money on this one.

App appears abandoned. I used to love this app but it just doesn’t work anymore. I have my settings on English & French, but no matter what I scan, I mostly get indecipherable Cyrillic characters or a string of 1’s & 0’s instead of standard card words like “office”. Too bad, since it used to be great.

Lost Cards!!!. My older version no longer works. The App Store tells me I need an upgrade, but only the new version loads and my old cards are still not available. Insult to injury… when I click to get help from the company, I get a 404 error.

Disappointed. I purchased the business card version of this app for 6.99 that you can still download today and says it works on my phone. But the developer has quit working on it and instead has this version now that introduced of course a subscription model. Minor improvement of course from the previous version but not enough that I want to get into a subscription model. And of course that other version crashes now when trying to push the info to the contacts app on your phone. And yes I did get great value out of the app up until that time, and yes $7 is pretty cheap investment for that time used, just disappointed that us early adopters and supporters got left out in the cold.

Horrible user experience. I downloaded this app a while ago and now I can’t get it run. I contacted the support team and they said to download the new app. That didn’t help for all my contacts in my old app which are now lost.

How to frustrate your customers. Worked well enough when I got it several years ago, but the company has given a lesson on the art of how to destroy a good app. Now it’s extremely unintuitive, finding and displaying the card when when you actually need it is extremely complicated, long and aggravating. Not to mention the ad for the upgrade that pops up now each time I open the app. I paid for this app and now I have to look at an ad right when I need to find a card. Boo!

This used to be good.. I liked the software when I paid and bought the app. Then after a little time, it stopped recognizing that I purchased it. I lost features, it doesn’t sync with my contacts on my phone, and it’s trying to bill me a monthly subscription fee. 🤦‍♂️

Lazy app makers. Lost all of my cards because the app maker decided to just abandon and make a new app rather than updating the old one that I had all my card pics in. Can not access any of the stored cards that are on the app.

Great app but.... Love the updated app. Very user friendly. But when I tried to retrieve all my cards from the previous app version I can’t even log in. And I can’t retrieve my cards. Is there a way to retrieve them? Or am I going to have to manually re-scan all the cards I had already input? I was doing great with that first version but I really want those cards back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can’t live without it. This is an amazing application that I cannot live without. This program saves me time in the office and on the road. Amazingly easy to navigate and save information. Before I make each sales call every day, I take a look at my notes from the last visit. It’s a lifesaver and incredibly easy!

Helpful for business. I’ve been using Kamm card for a long time. It helps me to keep track of all of my business contacts and I love to feature where it automatically as a contact to my iPhone.

Do Not Buy or Use!!!!!!. I purchased this app almost 2 years ago, and have downloaded ALL of my business and personal contacts. They have not upgraded the app after the IOS updates, so the app crashes and all of my contacts are being held hostage. What makes this worse is I went to the “Contact Us” on their site, write to them about my issue, and I received a “message can’t be delivered”. Is this company Intsig out of business? They better be or they are the worst ever!

Quite amazing. I thought I would just use it for business cards, but...on the contrary. I use it also for my favorite restaurants and take out establishments. I take pictures of the menu and attach the menu in the memo section and create groups for type of cuisine. No more menu folders at home!

Good App but..... I do love this app. I was being overwhelmed by business cards and this helped me keep them in order. But be careful. The text reader part has a hard time with close text and Williams often replace an ‘a’ with an ‘r’. This WILL mess up your email address. Still way faster and likely just as accurate as thumb typing.

Works great with Apple iOS contacts app. This is really easy to use. Simply hit the camera icon button in the application hold it over the business card and it takes care of the rest automatically 95% of the time... as business cards magically appear in the Apple iOS contacts application.

Good organization for cards that get lost. I so appreciate having this app! It keeps all my collected business cards in one place. I use to misplace cards or lose them in my purse. You no longer have to worry about keeping them handy when you need to look a contact up. Wish it was a little more organized into files and had an automatic “add to contact” for your phone contacts.

Love the app. The app organizes my professional life perfectly. The camera to text interface rarely makes an error so it’s matter of seconds to record upload a contact and go. I also like the function that allows me the option as to whether or not I want to include the contents of the app with my phone contacts. I rather keep it separate. Overall a good app.

What a Great concept. Thank you for this FREE app what a difference! I just photo the business card and done or unless I need to edit/update. Easy to organize cards versus what I use to do before. I use to just take a picture and save in folder, now I am organized and I can copy to my own contacts! WOW!

The application is closing itself. I’m using this application on my Iphone for few years, noticed a while ago that the program refuses to open or it closes by it self. Easy to organize my network groups. This app has helped me organize all my business networks. Working in real estate and the service and labor industry, I come across many professionals. This app can help me sort and filter them, as well as, share business cards without much effort! Love this app!!

Refund not given & app doesn’t work as promised. I have tried to get a refund since the day I signed up for the premium account to use with sales force. This never worked and they did not refund as promised. I need a refund immediately. Pushing this off to Apple is unacceptable and you have no website for all support.

Simply amazing. I've uploaded 20 business cards in 3 minutes. This is incredible! I'm hoping I don't reach like 100 card inputs then it asks me to pay for an upgrade. But such a great app for someone who is getting business cards often and doesn't want to be inputting them into an excel sheet or something.

Nice tool for sales. I really like this app for capturing business card info; I really like how it captures the picture of the card and the time the card is scanned. The export feature to excel is nice. To improve the app, recognizing the card attributes needs to be improved as it rarely gets the information correct. Also, the export feature needs some way to customize the export.

Great tool to organize my business cards. This is a very useful tool to organize my business cards which were harder to access otherwise. There could be some improvement in the scanning algorithm with different fonts etc. but it is a much better tool than some of the other tools on App Store

Awesome Program. Great way to save time and trees. I take the persons business card and use CC to create the image and post directly to my contacts. Then, I return the card back to the person to give to another person. I just saved time because of the automated process I just saved paper because CC provided an opportunity to recycle the business card.

New upgrade bad news. This is another one of those upgrades where they took a great product and turned it into garbage. Photograph cards and the display is fine but the typed information if all messed up which makes you have to edit every card manually. Come on people go back to your earlier version until you get the upgrade fixed!

CamCard is so handy!. I used to end up with stacks and stacks of business cards and just never got time to organize them but with CamCard it’s so easy and it automatically downloads everything to my phone. I’m always organized and never lose anybody’s number again.

Great app. I’ve used CamCard for the last ten years and it is absolutely wonderful for storing business cards. Simple to use and edit business cards. It also updates into your contacts. I retired a few years ago and I’m still using it. It’s great and everyone should use it.

Not satisfied. I liked the old version! When I did the new updates on my iPhone I had to down load the new version of CamCard. Not happy! The new version did not import all my old camcard images and contacts. When I try to open the older version to look up names and numbers. I won’t let me and freezes up. CamCard you screwed things up. Fix the problem! At this point until it’s fixed I would not recommend this product to anyone! Once fixed and I find it working correctly then I might change the rating!

App changed, extra $ to make outlook contacts. Have had this app for years to turn business cards into outlook contacts. The most recent update now makes this feature only available on a subscription basis. This was the only feature I needed. Time to find a new app.

Few mistakes, but I like it.. I have only been using CamCard for a few hours and have noticed a few things: 1. Even though it easily scans cards, I have to still correct 25% of the information because it misreads some letters and words. 2. When I signed up for it to directly sinc with Google Contacts, I got a screen that was only in Chinese or one of the oriental languages. Kinda weirded me out... 3. When entering a card, some of the names for the slots don’t fit and a couple letters get entered on the next line. For example, in the “Department” spot, the “t” isn’t attached to the rest of the word and is entered underneath the rest of the word. Other than these things, I do like the app and hope for it to continue to improve.

Terrible service. Years ago (2011) I purchased the $6.99 CamCard app for access to all of the features. Last year I went to use it for the first time in ages and had to download this new version. There is no way to credit the fact that I already made a purchase, and there is no way I am going to subscribe and pay more money!! I contacted support months ago about this and never got a reply. I just sent another email. I doubt they’ll reply to this one either. Time to look for a new card scanning app.

Terrible recognition. I like the app in concept. It syncs pretty well with my contacts. However, how is this helping me save time if I have to manually edit about 50% of the contact info EVERY TIME? I have a second language in my settings and it doesn’t matter: whether the card is from a US based business or a foreign one, the recognition rate is the same. The app also struggles with non standard sizes of cards. I will not renew if it continues to perform so poorly.

Great app!. It does a real good job of getting the info right. Sometimes it mess up on the more complicated cards. But, since you have a picture saved with the contact you can easily edit the mistakes. I save cards at conventions as son as I can and add notes so I can better keep track of who is who.

Great app. I absolutely love this app it does so many things and it’s wonderful that it’s free. There is only one field that I would love for them to add and that is a free written notes field so that if there is information about a company that I would like to add that doesn’t fit address or phone or something like that then I would be able to put it in.

A keeper. The app is fairly easy to use and runs well. Doesn’t crash. Doesn’t dump my data. I love being able to take a photo of a business card and have it stored right here for when I need it. Great for business contacts and anything else you may want to keep on hand; like restaurants, dry cleaners, etc.

EASY TO USE.. This app is very easy to use. Sometimes you have to correct for a mistake in reading the unusual on a card, but it gets the phone numbers right every time which is the most important part for me. A lot more accurate that auto correct on my phone! LOL! I like that you can do front and back of the cards also.

What have you done?. This used to be one of my favorite apps. Used to be. But now all you can do is take a picture and enter the data manually. Unless you pay for the app. It's really crappy that you took away functionality that was part of the original app. I can see asking to pay for IMPROVED functionality, but to take away the reason I loved it? Party foul. Will be deleting and not recommending. The good news is Microsoft office Lens will transfer a card into One Note and you can then email it to yourself. Not great. But still beats retyping all of the info from a card.

Clunky. I’m glad I don’t pay for this app. Every time I try to make alterations to a scanned image, it seems to refuse to save it! If I try to start over, I lose all the information (that I usually need to input manually anyway because of all the cards that use unusual fonts). Thankfully I don’t have hundreds of cards that I need to save, otherwise this would drive me bonkers, or drive me to find a different app to use.

Excellent app. CamCard is worth it. What a time saver. It is probably 95% accurate so I save a ton of time versus manually typing in biz card details. Couldn’t imagine going back to the old way. Hint- to make sure the card is searchable in Apple Contacts, be sure to transfer the card to Contacts, go into Contacts, and re-select the country.

App not working. When I first downloaded the app everything worked fine. Now I open the app go to take a picture of a new business card the app crashes and closes out. Please fix this issue. This is not the first time this has happened. In the past the app crashed so often I gave up on the app. Tried it again and now the app is acting just like the older version. Not a good app to use if you can’t fix this issue. And no purchasing the upgrade is not an option because if the free version does it I’m sure th paid upgrade will do the same thing.

App just crashes. Old app just crashes, forced to download it again. But old contacts don’t transfer. Now I have two CC apps on my phone one that works and one that doesn’t. Update: I had to sign in with my phone number and this whole time I was thinking it was my email. Thank you.

Too much money. Too much money just to scan and save retyping into my contacts. Seriously… I just wanted what CamCard *was* - a solid OCR mobile app for business cards. I don’t need everything else they have added and I CERTAINLY don’t need to pay 50 bucks a year just for “unlimited” scans. This is MY phone and MY storage… why should I pay YOU that kind of money just for the privilege of using MY computing costs to do something.

I love it but one drawback. Cards like my AAA Card with multiple numbers that are for a business. It does not except names in business format such as a business without a first and last name tied to it. Also it would be wonderful if it would adopt the names of the phone numbers for multiple numbers on the card. Otherwise it’s absolutely fantastic and wonderful to get rid of physical cards in your life.

Now I can toss those business cards. So easy to take a photo and get the info into my phone. It sometimes can’t ready funky fonts, but it’s easy to quickly correct. I love being able to throw out business cards instead of having them clutter my desk or files.

Time saver. The software is very accurate! Once you take a picture of someone’s business card it automatically uploads all their information and does not make mistakes. If you want ensure that you never lose a client’s information, this application is for you. What are you waiting for?

Time Saver. This is such a time score! It’s accuracy is 100% when the business card is straight forward and clear. I always review the information regardless. But, other wise I do have to make some minor changes and edits. Compared to manually entering in the business card this is a wonderful!

Great app but crashes. It worked excellent for nearly a year and then when it got to have over 65 cards, or so, it crashes as soon as it’s opened. Sometimes it stays open to photograph a new card but then crashes when it goes to contacts. I have many important cards stored in it that I have no access to. Very frustrating. Now it won’t work with the iOS installed on my phone.

Wonderful App. This app is the greatest thing for anybody that uses a lot of business cards. It is so easy to scan the cards and it drops right into your contacts so you don’t have to take the time to enter all that information that is needed. This has made my life so easy!

Confusing. There are two apps. They will not copy over to other app. Which looks the exact same but opens for a few seconds and then closes. I am unable to open any of the cards I scanned with the first app to get information. I do not like writing negative reviews but I also went to their “support” webpage and it is not mobile friendly for one and horribly set up as well. Nowhere on that page can you email or talk live to anyone. This app was absolutely awesome at one time and made my life so much easier. Now it made everything a nightmare.

Poor revision control will lose your cards. This app is great. However, they recently updated the app and it is “no longer compatible” with the current version of my phone’s operating system. I have now lost over 20 business cards for contacts that were never imported to my phone. I can’t open the previous version to recover them. If you are going to make an app for a platform, communicate with the controllers so that your users aren’t at risk of losing critical data. At a minimum, the app should automatically backup to my phone, not your cloud, with the *option* to utilize a cloud back up system. I’ll be looking for another way to store my contacts now. Good scanner, bad execution. The app scans and sorts data from physical business cards very well, but it requires the user to utilize the app for its main contact source. What information can be shared, it is cumbersome and time-consuming to export to other platforms. It takes several steps to transfer Contacts to third-party platforms such as outlook. There are several other apps available which provides similar functions with less restrictions. Save time in first ration, utilize them if you have several contacts.

So disappointing. I’m not able to log in to the new version as I don’t believe I ever created an account with the old version. I see no way of verifying if an account was set up because the old version will not work now. It seems suspicious to me. Anyway, I loved the app and shared that information with colleagues but now all the cards I entered are not accessible.

Couldn't live without it..... I have been using this app for a few years now and it has been invaluable especially when I'm away from my office. Easy to use, accurate and great search function if you have hundreds of contacts like I do. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the interface is a little dated compared to some of the competition.

I love this app !!. I wished I had a way to get the older cards back , I purchased the app and it said it would automatically get my other contacts, but it didn’t?? Other than that and small mistakes every now and then when I take a picture of a business ca d it’s perfect !!

Manage the Mess!. CamCard helps me manage the mess. As a on the road salesperson, I receive many business cards. Although I have a 3 ring binder with sorting pages to keep the physical cards, it is impossible to carry my binder everywhere I go so it stays in my vehicle. CamCard allows me to recall contacts immediately anywhere I have my cell phone.

A must have for Entrepreneurs. Been using CamCard when they came out on the apps, now with the updates has a lot better features smooth transitions and easy to use. I kept contact with many clients over the years and it have increased my business. If you want to grow your business this is a must have tool.

Worthless. For a while I haven’t been able to use this app that I purchased a few years ago due to the developer have not updated to current IOS, really if they don’t update I am going to file a complaint and request a full refund
